- 0:01Speaker 1: The Week in Bible Prophecy, a Prophecy Watchers podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hi there, folks, and welcome to the A Minute to
- 0:10Speaker 2: Midnight show. This is Tony, and I'm coming to you
- 0:13Speaker 2: from New Zealand in a spring morning. And with me today,
- 0:18Speaker 2: I have Mondo Gonzalez. And Mondo, it is autumn where
- 0:22Speaker 2: you are, or fall. And yeah, we were just talking
- 0:26Speaker 2: a little bit off air what the weather's like here,
- 0:29Speaker 2: but I don't know what it's like where you are.
- 0:31Speaker 1: At the moment, you know, for us here in Oklahoma,
- 0:35Speaker 1: it's been rain, rain, rain, which actually is everybody's happy
- 0:39Speaker 1: about it because we had a super hot summer. It
- 0:42Speaker 1: was horrible. And so we're down, you know, we're down
- 0:46Speaker 1: in the, what would you say, in the 1920s Celsius anyway,
- 0:49Speaker 1: which is great for us. We've been in the 40s
- 0:52Speaker 1: all summer.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Well, yeah. Yeah, I guess for Americans going in the 40s,
- 0:58Speaker 2: wait a minute, that's winter temperatures. But yeah, Celsius. 40 Celsius. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:05Speaker 2: So yeah, we've had a march up to spring and
- 1:10Speaker 2: it was a bit of a mixture. So we had
- 1:12Speaker 2: a couple of quite hot days and now right at
- 1:14Speaker 2: the moment we're back to it being like winter again
- 1:16Speaker 2: for a couple of days where I am in New
- 1:18Speaker 2: Zealand anyway. So it's a bit of a up and
- 1:23Speaker 2: down with the weather. But In terms of what we
- 1:28Speaker 2: should discuss today, and I mentioned to you off-air, look,
- 1:33Speaker 2: there's a lot of people that have been messaging me
- 1:36Speaker 2: or emailing me or leaving comments saying, can we talk
- 1:40Speaker 2: about the Noahide laws and the Noahide Convention? And it
- 1:46Speaker 2: is a bit of a hot topic at the moment.
- 1:49Speaker 2: And so I said to you, Mondo, can we maybe
- 1:52Speaker 2: look at that today? And it's kind of controversial today.
- 1:56Speaker 2: In some ways, just as a little bit of an overview,
- 2:00Speaker 2: some people won't even know what that is. Nearly 100
- 2:04Speaker 2: Noahide leaders from 20 countries across six continents will gather
- 2:08Speaker 2: in Jerusalem on November 2-6, 2026, with the blessings of
- 2:15Speaker 2: Israel's chief rabbis and a reception at the residence of
- 2:19Speaker 2: the president-elect. For the first time in history, Noahides, who
- 2:23Speaker 2: are non-Jews, who ordered their lives by the seven laws
- 2:27Speaker 2: of Noah, which that's an interesting thing in itself, will
- 2:32Speaker 2: convene in a single international conference. Nearly 100 Noahide leaders
- 2:36Speaker 2: from 20 countries across six continents will gather in Jerusalem
- 2:40Speaker 2: at the Seven Archers Hotel on the Mount of Olives,
- 2:43Speaker 2: overlooking the Old City, for the first international congress of
- 2:48Speaker 2: Noahides and Israelites. The Congress is convened by Brit Alam,
- 2:53Speaker 2: the World Noahide Centre, under the presidency of Rabbi Uri Cherokee,
- 2:59Speaker 2: and it carries the blessing of Chief Rabbis of Israel
- 3:03Speaker 2: and the support of ministers in the Israeli government and
- 3:06Speaker 2: will include an official reception at Be'er HaNati, however you
- 3:12Speaker 2: pronounce it exactly, the residence of the President of Israel
- 3:16Speaker 2: in Jerusalem. And over five days, the participants will take
- 3:20Speaker 2: part in study lessons with leading rabbis, working groups on
- 3:24Speaker 2: community building, and the signing of a founding charter and
- 3:29Speaker 2: the establishment of the first international Viet Dinh Whanawhai affairs.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Delegations are expected from six continents. Now that came out
- 3:39Speaker 2: as an official sort of blurb around the end of July.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So now we're getting really close to this conference actually
- 3:47Speaker 2: occurring and Quite rightly, I think some people have some
- 3:52Speaker 2: concerns over it and what it actually means, but there's
- 3:56Speaker 2: also a lot of speculation as well. So that's my
- 4:00Speaker 2: way of a preamble. I'll give it to you. I'm
- 4:03Speaker 2: sure I'll have plenty more to say at times, but
- 4:06Speaker 2: I will get your perspective on it one day.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, this is actually quite interesting because all of us
- 4:15Speaker 1: who are prophecy watchers... We look and we see that
- 4:21Speaker 1: in the future, Israel's obviously very central in the final
- 4:26Speaker 1: 70th week of Daniel during the coming tribulation period. And
- 4:32Speaker 1: the interesting thing about it is you have, as we know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: a variety of characters. First, you have the Antichrist, whether
- 4:39Speaker 1: he is going to be a false messiah or a
- 4:43Speaker 1: fake messiah or a pseudo messiah for the Jewish people.
- 4:47Speaker 1: We know that he is involved with the reestablishment to
- 4:51Speaker 1: some way of temple sacrifices, etc. So the Jews are central.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I mean, we all agree that. The interesting thing about
- 4:59Speaker 1: it is this upcoming conference, which they hope is a
- 5:04Speaker 1: start of an annual conference that will continue to happen.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But the thing that I find interesting is in Revelation 17,
- 5:14Speaker 1: we see a harlot religion. And we know that the
- 5:17Speaker 1: heart of religion is some sort of system of religion
- 5:21Speaker 1: that brings the world together in some form. We also
- 5:26Speaker 1: know that that heart, heart of religion is destroyed in
- 5:30Speaker 1: the midpoint of the seven year period. And we see
- 5:32Speaker 1: that in revelation 17, you know, basically 12 through 18
- 5:36Speaker 1: where the 10 Kings along with the, the 11th King,
- 5:39Speaker 1: which is in this case of the antichrist burn her
- 5:42Speaker 1: with fire. So because we know that at, the second
- 5:46Speaker 1: half of the tribulation period, the Great Tribulation, that the
- 5:49Speaker 1: Antichrist in the middle sits in the temple of God,
- 5:51Speaker 1: declaring himself to be God. He is the religion. And
- 5:57Speaker 1: so he's not going to allow any competition with this
- 6:00Speaker 1: harlot religion. So what many people wonder is, well, what
- 6:04Speaker 1: does that harlot religion look like in the first half
- 6:08Speaker 1: of the tribulation period? And so enter in what we
- 6:12Speaker 1: have now here, the Noahide laws. And so most people
- 6:17Speaker 1: are like, well, what's this about? Well, the true answer
- 6:22Speaker 1: is that this is a system of belief that is
- 6:28Speaker 1: 100% originated and perpetuated by rabbinic Judaism. And so whether
- 6:36Speaker 1: you look in the early writings or traditions, the Jewish traditions,
- 6:40Speaker 1: primarily the Talmuds, they describe... that you can be, well,
- 6:49Speaker 1: let me say it this way. The Jews are required
- 6:53Speaker 1: to follow the 613 Mosaic commandments, okay? But, you know,
- 6:57Speaker 1: Deuteronomy 4, Deuteronomy 7, there's a whole bunch of other
- 7:00Speaker 1: passages that speak that the 613 commandments of Moses were
- 7:05Speaker 1: not given to the world. They were given to the Jews.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And so then it brings up the question within Judaism is, well,
- 7:12Speaker 1: then what do we expect or what do we, What
- 7:15Speaker 1: would God want then for non-Jews? God doesn't want the
- 7:20Speaker 1: non-Jew necessarily to convert to Judaism. So rabbinic Judaism came
- 7:25Speaker 1: up with this idea or this thought that all they
- 7:29Speaker 1: need to do is follow the seven laws of Noah
- 7:32Speaker 1: because they're all Gentiles. After basically Genesis 9, we see
- 7:37Speaker 1: that God establishes covenant with Noah. And so when you
- 7:42Speaker 1: look at the Noahide laws as they are given by
- 7:45Speaker 1: rabbinic Judaism, there's basically seven of them. And they derive
- 7:50Speaker 1: primarily from Genesis 9, not fully, not as if you'd
- 7:53Speaker 1: read them there, but some of them you could. The
- 7:55Speaker 1: first one is that there's a prohibition against idolatry. We
- 7:59Speaker 1: can talk about that later, what that looks like. There's
- 8:02Speaker 1: a second is the prohibition against blasphemy, you know, towards
- 8:07Speaker 1: God and his name. The third is against murder. We
- 8:11Speaker 1: see that in Genesis 9, 5, and 6 because there,
- 8:15Speaker 1: up until that time, God tells Noah, if anybody commits murder,
- 8:21Speaker 1: then he creates capital punishment. Right there in Genesis 9.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And he says, by man. So if you murder somebody,
- 8:30Speaker 1: it says, by man, that person, the murderer, needs to
- 8:33Speaker 1: be killed. And so that creates one of the other
- 8:37Speaker 1: principles there is that you have to have courts. which
- 8:41Speaker 1: would then be able to implement a capital punishment, you know, murder,
- 8:47Speaker 1: for murder, or the killing of somebody for murdering somebody else.
- 8:51Speaker 1: They also have, understandably, the fourth one would be laws
- 8:57Speaker 1: against sexual morality, bestiality, all the things you'd see, which
- 9:01Speaker 1: is similar to the book of Exodus, I mean, the
- 9:03Speaker 1: book of Leviticus. That would include homosexuality. All those things
- 9:07Speaker 1: that are defined under Judaism's view of what sexual immorality is.
- 9:13Speaker 1: The fifth one is theft, which we know that's part
- 9:15Speaker 1: of the original Ten Commandments. Remember, for a Jewish person,
- 9:19Speaker 1: the Ten Commandments are not for non-Jews. The Ten Commandments
- 9:23Speaker 1: are for Jews. But in this sense, they'll say theft
- 9:27Speaker 1: is bad. That's also one of them. Also, you have
- 9:30Speaker 1: a variety of comments about eating blood, or specifically it
- 9:34Speaker 1: talks about eating a limb of an animal. from a
- 9:40Speaker 1: living animal, which in that sense would be blood. And
- 9:43Speaker 1: then the seventh one, as I mentioned, is courts of justice.
- 9:47Speaker 1: So just as a backdrop, what they say is that
- 9:54Speaker 1: in order to participate in the world to come for
- 9:57Speaker 1: Jew and for the world to come for Gentiles, you
- 10:01Speaker 1: need to be, you can be one of the righteous Gentiles.
- 10:04Speaker 1: And so to be a righteous Gentile, you don't convert
- 10:06Speaker 1: to Judaism. You follow these seven Noahide laws. And if
- 10:10Speaker 1: you do, then you will have a participation in the
- 10:15Speaker 1: world to come. And so, Later, a writer, and the
- 10:19Speaker 1: last thing I'll say here, and we can unpack some
- 10:21Speaker 1: of this, but Rambam Maimonides was basically a 12th century
- 10:26Speaker 1: Jewish person, Spaniard Jew. He lived in Israel at the time,
- 10:30Speaker 1: lived in Egypt, but he wrote something called the Mishnah Torah,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and he was a very, very influential medieval Jew. And
- 10:38Speaker 1: what he discussed, he discussed the seven no-hide laws. But
- 10:40Speaker 1: one of the things that he said in his interactions
- 10:43Speaker 1: with Christianity, which is very strong in the Middle Ages,
- 10:47Speaker 1: was that in order to be considered righteous, again, you
- 10:50Speaker 1: can't be an idolater. So the question is, or a blasphemer,
- 10:56Speaker 1: can a Christian qualify as a non-idolater? Because for them,
- 11:01Speaker 1: they didn't understand. They just thought we invented the person
- 11:03Speaker 1: of Jesus in the sense of we took this man,
- 11:05Speaker 1: we elevated him to godhood, and now we're worshiping the
- 11:07Speaker 1: God of Israel along with this other god named Jesus,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and therefore, by definition, we're idolaters. And so it also,
- 11:14Speaker 1: even in Islam.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Maimonides was quite clear as well as rabbinic Judaism that
- 11:21Speaker 1: even though Islam is monotheistic, very strict, you have to submit,
- 11:28Speaker 1: in order for you to be righteous, you have to
- 11:30Speaker 1: submit to the God of Israel, not Allah, and you
- 11:35Speaker 1: have to submit to the authority of the Torah, the
- 11:38Speaker 1: first five books, as well as the authority of the
- 11:41Speaker 1: rabbinic Jews or the sages, or in this sense, the Talmud. So, Obviously,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Islam doesn't submit. They might be monotheistic in their own theology,
- 11:50Speaker 1: but they don't submit to the authority of the Talmud.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Christianity is monotheistic, but we don't submit to the authority
- 11:59Speaker 1: of the Talmud. So it's interesting that even within there,
- 12:02Speaker 1: there's different viewpoints within Judaism of whether a Christian is
- 12:08Speaker 1: outside of being a Noahide person or whether Jesus disqualifies them.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Or whether some Jews are a little bit more moderate
- 12:18Speaker 1: and they'll allow Christianity to be under it. But needless
- 12:23Speaker 1: to say, I think we ultimately fail because, according to
- 12:27Speaker 1: Maimonides anyway, because why? We don't accept the authority of
- 12:31Speaker 1: the Talmud as being equal to Scripture. So this is
- 12:35Speaker 1: the basic Noahide framework originated by Rabbinic Judaism, Talmudic Judaism,
- 12:42Speaker 1: and for the world. And so this is what they're
- 12:45Speaker 1: trying to come to be, is to say, let's start
- 12:49Speaker 1: incorporating this framework for the world with this conference next month.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. So just very quickly then, I'll just
- 13:00Speaker 2: recap what those seven Noahide laws are. Do not worship idols.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Do not blaspheme the name of God. Do not murder.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Do not commit sexual immorality. And there's a bunch of
- 13:10Speaker 2: what that defines there. Do not steal. Do not eat
- 13:13Speaker 2: the flesh torn from a living animal. But the seventh one,
- 13:16Speaker 2: I don't think you mentioned, Mondo, is establish courts of
- 13:19Speaker 2: justice to enforce the previous six laws. And these laws
- 13:26Speaker 2: are promoted by some Jewish groups, particularly the Armluvoviches, of
- 13:32Speaker 2: which Jared Kushner is one. And basically, going back to 1991,
- 13:39Speaker 2: George H. Bush signed, you know, made a declaration, a
- 13:45Speaker 2: Noahide Declaration kind of thing, establishing it in the U.S.
- 13:51Speaker 2: and with a day, you know, a celebration day and
- 13:54Speaker 2: all of that kind of thing. So what a lot
- 13:56Speaker 2: of people are concerned about is, okay, so they are
- 14:00Speaker 2: going to establish a system of, court basically to be
- 14:07Speaker 2: able to prosecute the laws you know people that break
- 14:12Speaker 2: the noahide laws now this is where the speculation comes
- 14:16Speaker 2: in people are going oh this is it this is
- 14:17Speaker 2: the religion of the antichrist and so on but it's
- 14:20Speaker 2: like hold on a minute at the moment this is
- 14:22Speaker 2: a religious group the noahides coming together and having a
- 14:25Speaker 2: conference and saying we are setting this up They're not some,
- 14:29Speaker 2: at this point anyway, some international group with any teeth,
- 14:32Speaker 2: like the United Nations or something. They can't come along
- 14:35Speaker 2: and say, right, United States of America or New Zealand,
- 14:38Speaker 2: you're going to enforce these Noahide laws and those idolaters
- 14:41Speaker 2: are going to have capital punishment. Now, it could happen
- 14:44Speaker 2: down the track. But at this point, we don't know that.
- 14:49Speaker 2: And so where a lot of people are going is
- 14:51Speaker 2: they're jumping the gun and saying, ah, that's it. This
- 14:53Speaker 2: is the religion of the Antichrist. This is it.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 2: But we don't actually know for sure. That is the case.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Well, and what you see is the international Beit Din,
- 15:04Speaker 1: that this house, Beit Din is Hebrew for the house
- 15:07Speaker 1: of judgment. And they've said that they are not creating
- 15:12Speaker 1: the organizers of this thing. They've been very clear or
- 15:17Speaker 1: overt in saying that they're not creating the house of
- 15:19Speaker 1: judgment in order to enforce any of the Noahide laws,
- 15:24Speaker 1: because for them, it's voluntary. And so they are, in Judaism,
- 15:31Speaker 1: like the Sanhedrin, we know about the Sanhedrin from the
- 15:34Speaker 1: time in the Gospels, and the Sanhedrin has been attempted
- 15:39Speaker 1: to be reformed in modern times. You know, 2004 didn't
- 15:44Speaker 1: really catch a lot of traction, but the goal of
- 15:50Speaker 1: this house of judgment is in order to provide guidance.
- 15:53Speaker 1: That's what they're saying. And now it could switch if
- 15:55Speaker 1: they had teeth, but right now, is no, we're simply
- 15:59Speaker 1: here to provide guidance. We have these communities around the world,
- 16:03Speaker 1: almost 80 communities that are Noahide communities already. And so
- 16:07Speaker 1: we simply just want to help and we want to
- 16:10Speaker 1: see this information get out. But as you mentioned, it
- 16:13Speaker 1: is well known that one of the punishments, at least
- 16:18Speaker 1: in the Talmudic literature, for people that violated the Noahide
- 16:23Speaker 1: laws was the sword or capital punishment through beheading. And so,
- 16:27Speaker 1: of course, that brings up some connections with Revelation 20
- 16:32Speaker 1: about those who had been beheaded. But it doesn't say
- 16:38Speaker 1: necessarily that those were beheaded by the harlot. In Revelation 20,
- 16:44Speaker 1: it talks about those who were beheaded by the beast.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And I would say that that's probably the second half
- 16:48Speaker 1: of the tribulation period for refusing the mark of the beast.
- 16:53Speaker 1: So that certainly wouldn't correlate with the Noahide laws because, again,
- 16:58Speaker 1: the religion of the second half is the religion of
- 17:01Speaker 1: the beast himself and the Antichrist himself who wants to
- 17:03Speaker 1: be worshipped, of course, ultimately to the dragon. But we
- 17:07Speaker 1: do know that in Revelation 17 that the harlot was
- 17:12Speaker 1: drunk with the blood of the martyrs. So somehow there
- 17:16Speaker 1: is going to be an enforcement mechanism in the first
- 17:18Speaker 1: half of the tribulation by this religious system. You either
- 17:22Speaker 1: follow it or you are killed. But it's interesting that
- 17:26Speaker 1: the ones that are described being killed are not just people,
- 17:30Speaker 1: but Christians, or at least believers for sure, being martyred
- 17:35Speaker 1: for their faith in Jesus specifically. So I think, as
- 17:39Speaker 1: you said, we have to be careful not to jump
- 17:40Speaker 1: the gun just because there is one element of similarity
- 17:44Speaker 1: of beheading. As you mentioned, that could be just as
- 17:48Speaker 1: applicable to Islam. And there are those that believe in
- 17:51Speaker 1: an Islamic Antichrist. And that will be one of the
- 17:55Speaker 1: things that he's going to use during the tribulation period.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So the interesting thing is just some of the discussion.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And to me, the key of the Noahide laws, and
- 18:10Speaker 1: this is what I find interesting, is the key element
- 18:13Speaker 1: in the Noahide laws is the centrality of Judaism. So worldwide, worldwide,
- 18:22Speaker 1: is Judaism is central, and the authority of the rabbis
- 18:28Speaker 1: is central, and, of course, the authority of the seven laws,
- 18:32Speaker 1: which have their basis in Genesis 9, as well as others.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I find that really provocative because to... Will the Antichrist,
- 18:45Speaker 1: when he comes on the scene and he establishes the covenant,
- 18:48Speaker 1: because that's exactly what Daniel 9.27 says... I've written a
- 18:52Speaker 1: lot about this. It literally in the Hebrew says that
- 18:57Speaker 1: he shall cause the covenant to prevail for the Jews,
- 19:04Speaker 1: for the many, which is the Jews in the book
- 19:06Speaker 1: of Daniel, for one week, for seven years. And in
- 19:09Speaker 1: the middle of the week, he'll cause the sacrifices and
- 19:10Speaker 1: offerings to stop. So that covenant that he is causing
- 19:14Speaker 1: to prevail in the book of Daniel is the Mosaic covenant,
- 19:17Speaker 1: which involves sacrifices and offerings and all the 613. So
- 19:22Speaker 1: that's interesting that he is going to show up on
- 19:24Speaker 1: the scene providing a basis for the Torah to be
- 19:29Speaker 1: reestablished for the Jews because it's not that way right
- 19:32Speaker 1: now in the land of Israel. And when you look
- 19:34Speaker 1: at the religious Jews in Israel, what they want more
- 19:38Speaker 1: than anything else, let me say it this way. If
- 19:43Speaker 1: you ask a religious Jew and you look at their writings,
- 19:46Speaker 1: what is going to be the telltale sign that the
- 19:51Speaker 1: Messiah has arrived? And they'll say that when the Messiah arrives,
- 19:57Speaker 1: he's going to accomplish two things, minimum. One is he's
- 20:01Speaker 1: going to reestablish the sacrificial system or the temple. You're like, okay,
- 20:06Speaker 1: that makes sense. We all believe that. The second thing
- 20:11Speaker 1: is he's going to cause the Torah to be applied
- 20:15Speaker 1: over all the land of Israel. You think, really? That's
- 20:18Speaker 1: what they believe, which is exactly what Daniel 9.27 says.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So it's connected to the Torah and it's connected to
- 20:23Speaker 1: the temple. But in the midst of that, if we're
- 20:29Speaker 1: going to speculate or conjecture, could it be that he
- 20:35Speaker 1: gives them his authority to establish the temple and the Torah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: Could it be then that he promotes the Noahide laws
- 20:43Speaker 1: around the world with Judaism as being centered? That's possible.
- 20:49Speaker 1: That would be amazing if it actually happened around the world,
- 20:53Speaker 1: that the Jews would become the center of the world religiously.
- 20:57Speaker 1: To me, I find that hard to believe.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Particularly in the climate at the moment.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Exactly. Yeah, I find that. But if God is going
- 21:10Speaker 1: to accomplish it, well, then God can do anything. So
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm not worried about that. But I can't prove that
- 21:14Speaker 1: from Scripture. I can prove the temple, and we can
- 21:17Speaker 1: prove that the Torah, that the Mosaic covenant is going
- 21:21Speaker 1: to be central for the Jews. We can show that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But we can't show necessarily that no hide is part
- 21:30Speaker 1: of that system.
- 21:31Speaker 2: So the clauses about the death sentence and so on,
- 21:37Speaker 2: which could apply to, well, they say it applies to idolatry,
- 21:44Speaker 2: you know, potentially, and also blasphemy and so on. And
- 21:47Speaker 2: so they come from the Talmud. I think Sanhedrin Clause 57a,
- 21:54Speaker 2: that's where most of this stuff comes from. You have
- 21:57Speaker 2: to delve way down into stuff to find it. You're
- 22:01Speaker 2: not going to find it on the Noahides website, you know, saying, hey,
- 22:05Speaker 2: we're going to behead people if they disappear. you know,
- 22:07Speaker 2: disagree with us or whatever. But that's where it comes from, basically.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And what I think on is, so, okay, so they
- 22:18Speaker 2: could behead people for, A, following Jesus, because if you're
- 22:22Speaker 2: potentially following Jesus, you're an idolater because you're saying Jesus
- 22:27Speaker 2: is God, right? You know, so this is what people
- 22:30Speaker 2: are saying. Okay, that's idolatry. That is a capital offense.
- 22:33Speaker 2: That means punishment by death. Another thing they could go
- 22:37Speaker 2: on is the Sabbath because they're saying, no, only Jews
- 22:40Speaker 2: can keep the Sabbath. So if you're a Gentile and
- 22:43Speaker 2: you're trying to keep the Sabbath, some people are saying, right,
- 22:45Speaker 2: that's another one, you know, beheaded for that. But again,
- 22:50Speaker 2: it's greatly speculating and people that are throwing all their
- 22:53Speaker 2: eggs in this basket are like, I think, jumping the
- 22:56Speaker 2: gun too fast because Islam also beheads people. I mean,
- 23:01Speaker 2: the French Revolution, which was basically run by the Illuminati,
- 23:04Speaker 2: what did they do? They used a guillotine and beheaded people.
- 23:07Speaker 2: They weren't Jews and they weren't Islam. So there's a
- 23:10Speaker 2: bunch of other possibilities. So I think we have to
- 23:12Speaker 2: be really careful that we don't go, ah, this lines up,
- 23:15Speaker 2: this looks like it. You know, it's like people that
- 23:18Speaker 2: were saying a few years ago, oh my gosh, Obama's
- 23:20Speaker 2: the Antichrist, God told me. You know, or Donald Trump's
- 23:23Speaker 2: the Antichrist, God's told me, or whatever, and then time
- 23:25Speaker 2: moves on and it's like, wait a minute, or Henry
- 23:28Speaker 2: Kissinger was the Antichrist. Well, he's dead. So, you know,
- 23:31Speaker 2: we have to be really careful that people don't put
- 23:35Speaker 2: their hat on a doctrine and say, that's it.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:38Speaker 2: And then we're convinced this is it and we won't
- 23:42Speaker 2: listen to anything else. So to me, it's like one
- 23:44Speaker 2: of these things you put on the scales and you go, yep,
- 23:47Speaker 2: this looks like it could balance out that way, but
- 23:50Speaker 2: you put something on this side of the scale and
- 23:51Speaker 2: it goes there, you know? So that's how I'm seeing it.
- 23:56Speaker 1: No, I think you're seeing it right. We have to
- 23:57Speaker 1: be very careful. And as you know, there's certain things
- 24:01Speaker 1: that we that we have a framework of understanding the
- 24:04Speaker 1: prophetic timeline. You know, we generally understand that, again, there's
- 24:11Speaker 1: a seven-year period or, you know, 70th week of Daniel
- 24:14Speaker 1: is very important. The Jews are important in there. There's a,
- 24:18Speaker 1: you know, a starting point based on Daniel 9, 27.
- 24:21Speaker 1: You know, there's a midpoint with the abomination of desolation and,
- 24:24Speaker 1: you know, Jesus divides it in two halves. So you
- 24:27Speaker 1: have some of these frameworks, which I think are quite solid.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But when it comes to pinpointing, again, I've talked a lot,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I think, even with you and I have talked a
- 24:37Speaker 1: lot about the 10 Kings. Who are they? Well, I
- 24:40Speaker 1: have theories. I talk about them potentially being technocrats. I'm
- 24:43Speaker 1: not dogmatic on it. I'm not going to hang all
- 24:45Speaker 1: my hat on that one basket or eggs in that basket.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And so in the same way here, you have the
- 24:52Speaker 1: World Council of Religion, the that was really big in
- 24:57Speaker 1: the 90s. And like, this is it. This is the
- 25:00Speaker 1: global religion. This is the harlot religion of Revelation 17, which, again,
- 25:05Speaker 1: we just have to be humble and keep things pretty
- 25:10Speaker 1: much loose in all of our discussions. Because as we know,
- 25:15Speaker 1: Daniel 12 tells us that as the time of the end,
- 25:19Speaker 1: we are here, we're at the time of the end,
- 25:21Speaker 1: but knowledge is going to increase as we get closer
- 25:24Speaker 1: and closer. And so it's wise to say, hmm, I'm watching. Again,
- 25:29Speaker 1: we have exegetical things that we base our theology on.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We don't do newspaper exegesis. So we have this framework
- 25:37Speaker 1: of theological truth, but when we look out, we say,
- 25:41Speaker 1: we are looking at the newspaper, so to speak, and
- 25:43Speaker 1: we go, I wonder if that fits. I wonder if
- 25:45Speaker 1: that fits our basis. But we don't start there and
- 25:49Speaker 1: then read it back into the text. And again, that
- 25:51Speaker 1: would be a little bit hard to do to look
- 25:53Speaker 1: at the Noahide movement, which is getting some traction starting
- 25:58Speaker 1: next month, and then to try to go to Scripture
- 26:01Speaker 1: and force that on there and say, oh, there it is.
- 26:04Speaker 1: That would be unwise.
- 26:06Speaker 2: So, yeah, I agree. So let's just quickly, though, look at,
- 26:10Speaker 2: so what are the goals of the Noahide conference, the
- 26:14Speaker 2: first one? So basically, the first international congress of Noahides
- 26:20Speaker 2: in the eternal capital of Jerusalem is, bringing together the
- 26:25Speaker 2: delegates from six continents. They want to formally establish the
- 26:29Speaker 2: World Noahide Movement, complete with a founding charter, a rabbinic court,
- 26:35Speaker 2: regional councils, and a financial infrastructure designed to sustain a
- 26:39Speaker 2: global religious civilization. So what people are there for saying, well,
- 26:44Speaker 2: this is just the start. This is where it starts.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Watch this space from here on out.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah, 100%. I mean, those are the things that they
- 26:54Speaker 1: hope to accomplish in this several-day conference, making Jerusalem the center,
- 27:00Speaker 1: which again, I find that interesting because we do know that,
- 27:04Speaker 1: of course, the Antichrist is going to, it seems to
- 27:08Speaker 1: be that he is going to use or eventually make
- 27:11Speaker 1: Jerusalem at least one of his headquarters enough to where,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and I say this often, that interestingly, you know, you
- 27:21Speaker 1: have the third temple movement, which, you know, I've written
- 27:24Speaker 1: a lot about the red heifer movement, et cetera, which
- 27:26Speaker 1: is still, still in motion. But the fact of the
- 27:31Speaker 1: matter is, I say this in is if you're the
- 27:36Speaker 1: antichrist and your goal is to blaspheme the God of heaven,
- 27:41Speaker 1: which we know Daniel seven, Daniel eight, Daniel 11, there's
- 27:44Speaker 1: a lot of descriptions of this character. He's a big mouth.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I mean, he's just, he's a blasphemer left and right.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And so, If you're going to blaspheme God, you know, yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 1: you can blaspheme him from New York City or from London,
- 27:57Speaker 1: you know, if you wanted. But if you really want
- 27:59Speaker 1: to get at the heart and insult the God of heaven, well,
- 28:03Speaker 1: you're going to blaspheme him from Israel. And if you're
- 28:05Speaker 1: going to do it there, you're going to choose Jerusalem.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And if you're in Jerusalem, you're going to choose the
- 28:10Speaker 1: Temple Mount. And if you're there, you're going to choose
- 28:13Speaker 1: the temple itself. So it's interesting that to me, the
- 28:17Speaker 1: Antichrist is, wants the temple built probably more than anybody else.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Because if he's going to accomplish his blasphemy and declare
- 28:26Speaker 1: himself to be God in the very temple of God,
- 28:29Speaker 1: then he is going to help accomplish that goal. And
- 28:33Speaker 1: I think he is going to betray the Jews. He
- 28:35Speaker 1: is going to deceive the Jews. But there's no doubt, again,
- 28:40Speaker 1: in the framework, that what's happening here is creating a
- 28:44Speaker 1: very Jew-centric idea. Because... There's no doubt when we think
- 28:50Speaker 1: about the millennial period, this thousand-year period where Jesus is
- 28:53Speaker 1: going to rule, he's ruling from Jerusalem. I mean, Psalm 2,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I will set my king on my holy hill of Jerusalem,
- 28:59Speaker 1: of Zion. And all the law, the Torah, not so
- 29:04Speaker 1: much the Mosaic law, but the law of the Messiah
- 29:06Speaker 1: will go forth from Jerusalem. So it's interesting that, of course,
- 29:09Speaker 1: the Antichrist tries to mimic whatever Jesus Christ does. And
- 29:14Speaker 1: so he's going to help accomplish some of those things.
- 29:18Speaker 1: So the fact that the Jews are looking to create
- 29:21Speaker 1: something where Jerusalem is the center spiritually of the world,
- 29:27Speaker 1: it's actually not surprising from a biblical perspective, even in
- 29:30Speaker 1: the Old Testament. He is the God of Israel, and
- 29:34Speaker 1: of course he's the God of the whole world, Paul
- 29:35Speaker 1: tells us, but he is the God of Israel there.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And so to bring all... this ideas we also don't
- 29:41Speaker 1: know how long how far away is is the is
- 29:44Speaker 1: the lord's return we don't know can you imagine 10
- 29:48Speaker 1: years of meetings if they had these meetings over and
- 29:51Speaker 1: over for 10 years not saying that's the case but
- 29:54Speaker 1: i'm just trying to think outside and go that would
- 29:56Speaker 1: create a What we do know is that this time
- 30:01Speaker 1: period in 2 Thessalonians 2 is described as a massive
- 30:07Speaker 1: time of deception. It's the great delusion, spiritually speaking. So,
- 30:13Speaker 1: and I think that no doubt, you know, the Jews
- 30:17Speaker 1: and the Jews themselves and the whole world, they need Jesus.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Without Jesus, there's salvation for nobody. We know that in
- 30:26Speaker 1: John 14, 6 and Acts 4, 12. So, The opposite
- 30:31Speaker 1: is going to happen during this period of seven years,
- 30:34Speaker 1: at least from the Jewish perspective. And the Antichrist certainly
- 30:36Speaker 1: is not going to promote Jesus.
- 30:39Speaker 2: So, I mean, personally, I feel like it makes sense
- 30:45Speaker 2: to me that the ultimate religion of the Antichrist is
- 30:48Speaker 2: actually Luciferianism. It's not Judaism. It's not Islamic either. Because
- 30:54Speaker 2: what did Lucifer do? He basically wanted worship. And that's
- 30:58Speaker 2: why he was cast from heaven, you know, I'm like
- 31:01Speaker 2: greater than God type of thing. Then he had in
- 31:04Speaker 2: the temptations of Jesus, he said, if you will fall
- 31:06Speaker 2: down and worship me, all this will be yours. So
- 31:09Speaker 2: that's what his obvious thing was. He wanted to be worshipped.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And then when we look in Revelation, we see that
- 31:15Speaker 2: the dragon gives his power to the beast and that
- 31:19Speaker 2: all will worship the dragon. Ultimately, so who's the dragon?
- 31:22Speaker 2: It's Satan or Lucifer. And so I think when the
- 31:27Speaker 2: Antichrist finally does get into his position where he causes
- 31:32Speaker 2: death and destruction, it will be Luciferianism. It will be
- 31:36Speaker 2: ultimately the worship of Lucifer, not the worship of Judaism
- 31:41Speaker 2: or Islam or something else that's going to be the
- 31:45Speaker 2: end goal religion. I've personally thought that for a very
- 31:48Speaker 2: long time because looking at the character of Satan or Lucifer,
- 31:53Speaker 2: who's behind this whole thing, What does he want? He
- 31:56Speaker 2: wants worship. He doesn't want to give his name to
- 31:59Speaker 2: somebody else to be worshipped. He's not going to call himself,
- 32:01Speaker 2: you know, worship Allah or worship Krishna or someone else.
- 32:06Speaker 2: It's going to be... And what is the technocratic religion ultimately?
- 32:11Speaker 2: It's Luciferianism. The bigwigs, the guys with all the money,
- 32:15Speaker 2: they're not... They might put on a garb of some
- 32:18Speaker 2: other religion, but ultimately... It's Luciferianism, and that's what the
- 32:22Speaker 2: Freemasons are. It's what the original Luminati was. And so
- 32:26Speaker 2: to me, it's like, yes, these things can be stepping stones,
- 32:31Speaker 2: but I don't think ultimately that is what... It's not
- 32:36Speaker 2: going to be you're going to be beheaded because you
- 32:39Speaker 2: worship God on a certain day, or you're going to
- 32:41Speaker 2: be beheaded because you.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Follow or don't follow some other law. You have to
- 32:48Speaker 2: do it the Judaistic way or the way of Allah.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I don't think that's going to be it. That's my
- 32:53Speaker 2: personal opinion, and people are welcome to disagree with it. But,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you know, for the last quite a number of years,
- 32:59Speaker 2: that's what I've thought.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Well, it's hard to disagree with you because of what
- 33:05Speaker 1: you just said is so scriptural that, again, we know
- 33:10Speaker 1: in Daniel 11 that the Antichrist is not going to
- 33:14Speaker 1: worship the God of his father's. That phraseology, I've written
- 33:20Speaker 1: about this in an article, and I got it from
- 33:26Speaker 1: another Hebrew scholar because that phraseology appears 45 times in
- 33:31Speaker 1: the Old Testament, and it always refers to Jews. So
- 33:35Speaker 1: the fact that the Antichrist doesn't worship the God of
- 33:40Speaker 1: his father's It's not just worship the God. It's always
- 33:45Speaker 1: used of a Jewish leader. Always. Every one. So I
- 33:50Speaker 1: find that fascinating that there, he worships the God of
- 33:54Speaker 1: fortresses or the God of war. So you have this
- 33:58Speaker 1: very much, which basically is himself. And this is why
- 34:03Speaker 1: you have that. 2 Thessalonians 2 declares himself to be God.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And then, of course, Revelation 13, all the way through there.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Every time the mark of the beast, the phrase mark
- 34:12Speaker 1: of the beast, or the mark appears in Revelation, every
- 34:15Speaker 1: single time, it's connected with worship. Worship of the beast.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And the beast, we know in Revelation, holistically, that the
- 34:24Speaker 1: beast refers to two things. There's the beast, certainly from
- 34:28Speaker 1: the sea, which is referring to the system. The But
- 34:33Speaker 1: it's also in Revelation 20, 19 and 20, it's referring
- 34:36Speaker 1: to the person, the Antichrist. So the Antichrist is so
- 34:39Speaker 1: associated with his system and his empire that you can
- 34:44Speaker 1: see that phraseology refers to both of them. And worship
- 34:49Speaker 1: is always of the beast, which ultimately says that they
- 34:53Speaker 1: worship the dragon. Revelation 12, Revelation 13, you see all
- 34:56Speaker 1: this through there. Exactly. what you said is so thoroughly
- 34:59Speaker 1: biblical that who's the dragon? Well, we know who the
- 35:02Speaker 1: dragon is. That's why we say it's Luciferian because at
- 35:05Speaker 1: least for the second half is a hundred percent tied
- 35:08Speaker 1: to worship. It's not, you don't take the mark of
- 35:11Speaker 1: the beast accidentally.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 1: It is always tied to, there's an economic component as
- 35:16Speaker 1: we know, Revelation 13, 16 through 18, but it's tied
- 35:19Speaker 1: to the worship of this figure and ultimately the dragon.
- 35:23Speaker 2: That's exactly right. That's what I believe. We know that,
- 35:27Speaker 2: that Satan enters into the Antichrist, the beast, the little horn,
- 35:32Speaker 2: whatever you want to call them. And so ultimately, when
- 35:36Speaker 2: they're standing there wanting to be worshipped, it's who are
- 35:39Speaker 2: you going to be worshipping? You're going to be worshipping
- 35:41Speaker 2: the one that's possessing them, which is Satan, Lucifer. And
- 35:47Speaker 2: as I mentioned earlier, what did he want Jesus to do?
- 35:50Speaker 2: If you'll fall down and worship me. And so to me,
- 35:54Speaker 2: that's where People can get caught up in all sorts of, oh,
- 35:58Speaker 2: it's going to be this or that or the other thing.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's going to be the Noahide laws. No, no, no, no, no,
- 36:02Speaker 2: it's not. It's going to be the Sunday law. No, no, no, no,
- 36:06Speaker 2: it's not. It's going to be Islam.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Everyone has their pet theory on it. And so that
- 36:14Speaker 2: then puts blinkers on them. They can't see anything outside
- 36:17Speaker 2: their own pet theory. And I'm looking at it and going,
- 36:21Speaker 2: we don't see the whole picture yet. we see what
- 36:25Speaker 2: scripture tells us and we have to be really careful
- 36:28Speaker 2: that we don't become deceived because we have a preconceived
- 36:31Speaker 2: idea as to how it's going to play out.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Yeah. A hundred percent again. And there's a distinction between
- 36:38Speaker 1: the religion of the first half and the religion of
- 36:42Speaker 1: the second half, because we do know as well that
- 36:46Speaker 1: revelation nine, it describes people as worshiping demons. I mean, there's, there's,
- 36:51Speaker 1: there's no doubt that, and that's going to, be directed
- 36:54Speaker 1: ultimately towards the dragon, the Luciferian kingdom and all of
- 37:01Speaker 1: what that entails. So humility is required in all of this,
- 37:06Speaker 1: no doubt. We watch it, but I think you think
- 37:09Speaker 1: about the, again, the Seventh-day Adventist view that Sunday worship,
- 37:13Speaker 1: there's going to be a law passed that everybody has
- 37:15Speaker 1: to worship on Sunday. And that's going to be, it
- 37:20Speaker 1: just doesn't make any sense. Remember this too, that the Jews,
- 37:28Speaker 1: to their credit, the Jews have always, going back really
- 37:35Speaker 1: to the first century, and then of course all into
- 37:38Speaker 1: rabbinic Judaism, the Jews have 100% rejected a divine Messiah.
- 37:45Speaker 1: For them, God is one. There is no divine man.
- 37:52Speaker 1: But again, they failed to nuance the understanding of what
- 37:54Speaker 1: the Bible says, especially the Hebrew Bible. So when they
- 37:59Speaker 1: accept this guy as a political deliverer, as a religious person,
- 38:03Speaker 1: as one who gives them Torah and gives them the temple,
- 38:06Speaker 1: that's what they're waiting for. So this happens. They're going
- 38:08Speaker 1: to be excited. Boom, here it is. And they're going
- 38:11Speaker 1: to be working together for the first three and a
- 38:13Speaker 1: half years as he consolidates the rest of his empire.
- 38:16Speaker 1: But then as we know, again, in the middle, he's killed.
- 38:21Speaker 1: He's resurrected. The 10 kings come together. They hand over
- 38:25Speaker 1: their authority, Revelation 17, 12, and 13 to him. They
- 38:28Speaker 1: give over their power, their authority, their capabilities. And then
- 38:31Speaker 1: they burn the religion with fire, the harlot, because it
- 38:36Speaker 1: says that God purposed it and put it in their
- 38:38Speaker 1: heart to fulfill his will. But then when he declares
- 38:42Speaker 1: himself to be God in 2 Thessalonians 2, the Jews, again,
- 38:47Speaker 1: consistently are going to go, This isn't our guy. We
- 38:52Speaker 1: don't believe in divine messiahs. Okay? So they're going to
- 38:55Speaker 1: reject him. Well, naturally, that's not going to go well.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And then we know that then, according to the dragon
- 39:02Speaker 1: in Revelation 12, the dragon turns his attention to destroy
- 39:06Speaker 1: the Jews, the woman, the woman Israel of Revelation 12,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and And so the Jews then flee. This is where,
- 39:15Speaker 1: when the abomination of desolation happens in Matthew 24, 15,
- 39:18Speaker 1: Jesus says, when you see it, he's talking specifically to
- 39:21Speaker 1: the Jewish people, you know, get out of town immediately.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Don't even go with your coat pray that it's not
- 39:27Speaker 1: on the sabbath okay woe unto those who are nursing
- 39:32Speaker 1: he says get out of town because this is where
- 39:35Speaker 1: the devil there's a lot of things happening at the
- 39:36Speaker 1: midpoint the devil's cast out of heaven the angels michael
- 39:40Speaker 1: fights with satan and his angels satan is cast down
- 39:43Speaker 1: to the earth he has great wrath it says and
- 39:46Speaker 1: he goes to seek to destroy the those that hold
- 39:50Speaker 1: the testimony of Jesus. So Jesus says, get out. They
- 39:54Speaker 1: flee for their lives, the Jewish people. They haven't come
- 39:58Speaker 1: to Jesus yet. That doesn't happen really until the end.
- 40:02Speaker 1: But the religion then switches to this self-worship of this
- 40:08Speaker 1: man who declared himself to be God. And then the
- 40:11Speaker 1: worship is of him and ultimately of the dragon. So
- 40:15Speaker 1: the Jews are no longer part of this. Because, again,
- 40:17Speaker 1: of their theology of no divine messiahs, they'll recognize that later,
- 40:22Speaker 1: that the idea of the Father, Son, and the Holy
- 40:25Speaker 1: Spirit will be revealed to them later. But yes, we
- 40:31Speaker 1: know the reality of understanding the fullness of the theology
- 40:35Speaker 1: of the entire Bible, as we know in John 1.1.
- 40:38Speaker 1: In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God,
- 40:40Speaker 1: the Word was God. So we understand Jesus was not
- 40:43Speaker 1: just a man elevated to godhood, It was the second
- 40:47Speaker 1: person of the Godhead coming down and taking on humanity.
- 40:50Speaker 1: So he's always been God. He wasn't elevated to be God.
- 40:52Speaker 1: He's always been God and came down in human flesh.
- 40:54Speaker 1: So that's going to be an interesting development. To me,
- 40:58Speaker 1: I find it, Tony, that it's all so consistent. When
- 41:02Speaker 1: you see all these puzzle pieces put together, it's very,
- 41:05Speaker 1: very consistent all the way through.
- 41:07Speaker 2: So going back to what you were saying in Matthew 24,
- 41:10Speaker 2: so there'll be people that go, no, that what Jesus
- 41:13Speaker 2: was talking about what happened in 70 A.D., the flee
- 41:16Speaker 2: to the mountains and all that. But what I think
- 41:18Speaker 2: a lot of people don't understand too is the Jewish
- 41:20Speaker 2: mindset where things repeat in cycles. So this is, it's
- 41:24Speaker 2: like it's happened, but it'll happen again. So as it
- 41:28Speaker 2: happened in 70 AD where the believers knew what Jesus said,
- 41:33Speaker 2: so they fled largely before Titus and the Romans came
- 41:39Speaker 2: in and destroyed Jerusalem. But the thing, the same pattern
- 41:42Speaker 2: will repeat again. And that's what people need to realize.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yep, and there's no doubt that, you know, those that
- 41:49Speaker 1: hold to a preterist view or partial preterist view, I mean,
- 41:52Speaker 1: they've tried really hard to identify some sort of very
- 41:58Speaker 1: specific abomination of desolation that occurred, which has been unsuccessful.
- 42:05Speaker 1: And then there's no doubt that Jesus talked about the
- 42:07Speaker 1: destruction of the temple, no doubt, Luke 21. But, and again,
- 42:12Speaker 1: like you said, there's prophetic, God works this way. Why
- 42:17Speaker 1: is it then that the temple was the original temple
- 42:20Speaker 1: of Solomon was destroyed on the 9th of Av? And
- 42:23Speaker 1: the second one was destroyed on what calendar day? The
- 42:26Speaker 1: 9th of Av. And so there is a pattern there,
- 42:30Speaker 1: but we know that the ultimate pattern was not fulfilled
- 42:33Speaker 1: all of it in 70 AD because Jesus obviously didn't
- 42:35Speaker 1: come back and set up his kingdom, etc. But you
- 42:38Speaker 1: said it right. There's a pattern there that it's going
- 42:41Speaker 1: to happen again. I wouldn't not be surprised then Again,
- 42:45Speaker 1: that when we come to the abomination of desolation spoken
- 42:48Speaker 1: of by Daniel, that's a pattern. That happened. We read
- 42:52Speaker 1: about that in Daniel 9, Daniel 11, Daniel 12. The phraseology,
- 42:57Speaker 1: Jesus says, if you want to know what's going to
- 42:59Speaker 1: happen in the future, look to the past. That started
- 43:02Speaker 1: under Antiochus Epiphanes. It's going to happen again. So the
- 43:05Speaker 1: pattern does repeat, and that's going to be the key
- 43:08Speaker 1: marker in the time of the seventh week of Daniel,
- 43:11Speaker 1: the time of Jacob's trouble. But he will be saved
- 43:15Speaker 1: out of it. So Israel has a very difficult future
- 43:19Speaker 1: ahead because they're going to put their faith and trust
- 43:21Speaker 1: in this false Messiah who's going to give them the
- 43:24Speaker 1: temple and is going to give them the Torah. And
- 43:28Speaker 1: they'll realize in the midpoint that when this guy seeks worship,
- 43:34Speaker 1: we chose poorly.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yes. So sitting there now listening as Christians to all
- 43:43Speaker 2: of this, What would be the big takeaway? What do
- 43:46Speaker 2: we do with this information and how should it affect
- 43:50Speaker 2: us going forward? Because we don't want to be one
- 43:53Speaker 2: of those that's deceived by whatever the deception is. And
- 43:58Speaker 2: we could have talked about AI and all of that,
- 44:01Speaker 2: which is playing big time into, I think, the image
- 44:04Speaker 2: of the beast and the worshipping of the image and
- 44:07Speaker 2: all of that. And we've got robots and all kinds
- 44:10Speaker 2: of other things that could come into this picture. that
- 44:13Speaker 2: we haven't even looked at. But so, so we're facing
- 44:16Speaker 2: this quickly, rapidly advancing beast system is probably the best
- 44:26Speaker 2: way of looking at it. So as Christians sitting here
- 44:28Speaker 2: right now, what should we do?
- 44:31Speaker 1: Well, there's two things that I always say. And what
- 44:35Speaker 1: the first one is, it's not even what I say,
- 44:37Speaker 1: it's what Jesus said, you know, Jesus, in Luke chapter 6,
- 44:41Speaker 1: Jesus says, why do you call me Lord, Lord, but
- 44:43Speaker 1: don't obey me? Okay, so that's a reminder that when
- 44:48Speaker 1: Jesus gives a commandment, he's not given a suggestion. And
- 44:51Speaker 1: so the commandment in Mark 13, 37, at the end
- 44:54Speaker 1: of describing all these events, he says, what I say
- 44:57Speaker 1: to you, I say to everybody, watch. So the first
- 45:01Speaker 1: commandment that we are to do is we recognize that
- 45:05Speaker 1: as we watch, there is a convergence of prophetic signs.
- 45:10Speaker 1: and that means like, and here we're talking specifically about
- 45:13Speaker 1: some of these, the no hide religion or the, or
- 45:16Speaker 1: the third temple or the red heifer. And then we
- 45:19Speaker 1: could bring in, you know, the AI and how that's
- 45:21Speaker 1: going to participate in the technocratic nature of the beast
- 45:24Speaker 1: system technology and the market, the beast and, you know,
- 45:28Speaker 1: the buying and selling, there's all these different lines and
- 45:32Speaker 1: they're all converging right now to recognize that this wasn't
- 45:36Speaker 1: happening 50 years ago. Okay. This wasn't happening. So, what
- 45:41Speaker 1: Jesus said is pay attention. Israel didn't exist a hundred
- 45:45Speaker 1: years ago, but the fact that God brought him back
- 45:47Speaker 1: to the land 78 years ago, he's like, pay attention. Okay.
- 45:51Speaker 1: They're very central at the time of the end. So
- 45:53Speaker 1: I needed to bring them back so they could fulfill their,
- 45:57Speaker 1: their parts of prophetic understanding in history. So the first
- 46:01Speaker 1: thing is to watch. Okay. Not, not fear. Jesus did
- 46:05Speaker 1: not tell us all these things to produce fear or
- 46:08Speaker 1: anxiety or John 16, 33, Jesus says, I've given you
- 46:12Speaker 1: my peace. My peace is in you. In this world,
- 46:14Speaker 1: you're going to have tribulation, small t, okay? Be of
- 46:17Speaker 1: good cheer. I've overcome the world. So he tells us
- 46:20Speaker 1: these things so that he said, look, I told you
- 46:21Speaker 1: these things in advance so that you would know to
- 46:25Speaker 1: watch that the second coming of the Lord is arriving.
- 46:32Speaker 1: It's not, again, this isn't a hundred years ago where
- 46:34Speaker 1: there was no Israel and you're like, yeah, what signs
- 46:36Speaker 1: do you have? Okay. The second thing he says, is
- 46:40Speaker 1: in Luke chapter 19, verse 13, commandment. And it's in
- 46:44Speaker 1: the parable of the master who went away for a
- 46:48Speaker 1: long time and went away for a period of time.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And then he says, you know, he called his servants
- 46:56Speaker 1: and he says, I'm giving you these responsibilities. I'm going
- 46:58Speaker 1: to go away for a while. But he says, occupy
- 47:02Speaker 1: until I come. So that's what we're to do with
- 47:05Speaker 1: the information is we're to occupy and we're to watch.
- 47:09Speaker 1: And occupy, what does occupy mean? It means to be
- 47:12Speaker 1: busy with your relationship with the Lord. It means to
- 47:14Speaker 1: be busy evangelizing. It means to be busy starting ministries.
- 47:18Speaker 1: It means to be busy raising your family in godliness
- 47:21Speaker 1: or your friendships. Seeking first the kingdom of God and
- 47:24Speaker 1: his righteousness, Matthew 6.33. That's what it means. It means
- 47:27Speaker 1: to be taking the Lord and the relationship with him
- 47:30Speaker 1: 100% serious. You know, I mean, you think about you
- 47:34Speaker 1: or myself, we can be, well, the Lord's coming. I guess,
- 47:37Speaker 1: you know, we should shut down our ministries, you know, because,
- 47:40Speaker 1: you know, he's going to come back soon. And so
- 47:43Speaker 1: I just, I'm going to go enjoy myself. No, we're
- 47:45Speaker 1: going to be here with these microphones until he actually
- 47:49Speaker 1: comes warning people, be ready for the Lord's return and
- 47:54Speaker 1: be watching. Those are the two commandments.
- 47:57Speaker 2: And yeah, with things like the Noahide, laws or the
- 48:01Speaker 2: Noahide covenant. Well, they do. They flatly reject Jesus as God.
- 48:07Speaker 2: So we therefore can't support that. So people shouldn't be
- 48:11Speaker 2: going supportive of Noahide laws. It doesn't mean we have
- 48:14Speaker 2: to be hateful towards those people or whatever, but we
- 48:18Speaker 2: have to go, no, we don't actually agree with this.
- 48:21Speaker 2: It's the same. If it's Islam, you can't agree with it.
- 48:24Speaker 1: No.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Or Hinduism or anything else. Or You know, people need,
- 48:29Speaker 2: there is no salvation except in Jesus as in Acts 4.12,
- 48:32Speaker 2: like you said. So we can love people and go, hey,
- 48:37Speaker 2: you know, but we have to stand firm on what
- 48:39Speaker 2: our belief is and realize that there is no salvation
- 48:42Speaker 2: anywhere else, whether you're Jew, whether you're Gentile. And so
- 48:46Speaker 2: that has got to be it. Our focus has to
- 48:48Speaker 2: be on, I guess, telling people you need Jesus as
- 48:53Speaker 2: your Lord and Savior, no matter what. or what country
- 48:57Speaker 2: you're in. Ultimately, what did Jesus tell us to do
- 49:01Speaker 2: is to spread the gospel. That was the Great Commission.
- 49:04Speaker 2: It wasn't to support some group or something or to
- 49:09Speaker 2: have a social gospel. It was ultimately to tell people
- 49:14Speaker 2: they need Jesus. Without salvation in Jesus, they're lost. Yeah.
- 49:20Speaker 1: 100%. It's interesting to me that when you look at
- 49:24Speaker 1: all these religions of the world, whatever they are, the
- 49:27Speaker 1: various religions, pick one, throw them all in a pot.
- 49:32Speaker 1: The one thing that is a defining factor is the
- 49:35Speaker 1: person of Jesus, because And this was the defining factor
- 49:39Speaker 1: in his ministry because he said in Matthew 10, 34, look,
- 49:43Speaker 1: I didn't come to bring peace, but division. And division
- 49:48Speaker 1: between a father and his son and a mother and
- 49:51Speaker 1: a daughter and a husband and his wife, the division
- 49:54Speaker 1: is around the person of Jesus. And this is what
- 49:57Speaker 1: we see. You know, we see this in Islam. If
- 50:00Speaker 1: somebody comes to faith in Jesus, now all of a sudden, boom,
- 50:02Speaker 1: they're considered dead. If you're a Jew or an Orthodox
- 50:08Speaker 1: Jew and you become a follower of Jesus, they consider
- 50:10Speaker 1: you dead. And it creates this conflict around the person
- 50:14Speaker 1: and the claims of Jesus himself. Again, you know, we
- 50:19Speaker 1: look at our world and we talk about political correctness.
- 50:21Speaker 1: We talk about tolerance. Look, I'm not a prophet. I
- 50:27Speaker 1: didn't start a religion. I didn't make any. I'm just
- 50:30Speaker 1: a witness and a messenger of To reflect, Jesus says,
- 50:35Speaker 1: I am the way, the truth, and the life. Nobody
- 50:38Speaker 1: comes to the Father except through me. I didn't say this.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Jesus said it. And so this is John 14, 6.
- 50:43Speaker 1: He made it very clear that whether you're Jew, you know,
- 50:49Speaker 1: we see these Jewish religious Jews that are praying at
- 50:52Speaker 1: the wall, and they're bobbing, and they got their books, and,
- 50:56Speaker 1: you know, they pray. You got Islam, praying five times
- 51:02Speaker 1: a day. These people are sincere. You cannot get to
- 51:06Speaker 1: the Father except through Jesus. If you do not honor
- 51:10Speaker 1: the Son, John 5, 23, if you do not honor
- 51:12Speaker 1: the Son, you do not honor the Father. So there
- 51:15Speaker 1: is no workaround. So all these religions out there, because
- 51:20Speaker 1: of Jesus' words, they're all false. So they're just false.
- 51:24Speaker 1: That's not mean. It's just a fact of Jesus' comments.
- 51:30Speaker 1: And so as the son of God, as the Messiah,
- 51:35Speaker 1: he says, I came from the father and I'm telling you,
- 51:39Speaker 1: this is the way it is. And so those are facts.
- 51:42Speaker 1: And so this is the defining factor. So Noahide, again,
- 51:45Speaker 1: what do you see? They don't allow you to follow Jesus.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Judaism doesn't allow you to follow Jesus. Islam doesn't allow
- 51:55Speaker 1: you to follow Jesus as the crucified son of God.
- 51:59Speaker 1: So At the end of the day, this is what
- 52:01Speaker 1: we know, and this is what's coming to a head.
- 52:03Speaker 1: And this is where you have all, whether it's the
- 52:06Speaker 1: Harlot religion of the first half, or it's the Antichrist
- 52:10Speaker 1: beast religion of the second half. Both of them exclude Jesus.
- 52:14Speaker 1: And 1 John 2 tells us that the one who
- 52:17Speaker 1: denies that Jesus is the Messiah is the Antichrist, is
- 52:23Speaker 1: the spirit of the Antichrist. That's pretty strong.
- 52:27Speaker 2: So basically... Religions will say Jesus was a prophet or
- 52:33Speaker 2: Jesus was a good man, Jesus was a good teacher,
- 52:38Speaker 2: but they will not say Jesus was who he said
- 52:43Speaker 2: he was, which he said in, you find it in John,
- 52:48Speaker 2: where he said, I am, and you will see me
- 52:51Speaker 2: coming in the clouds of heaven. And before Abraham was,
- 52:55Speaker 2: I am. And they knew exactly what he was saying.
- 53:02Speaker 2: He was claiming to be God. So that's why they
- 53:03Speaker 2: tried to stone him.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Crystal clear.
- 53:07Speaker 2: That's it. Basically, it's not a popular view. We're not
- 53:10Speaker 2: here to preach a social gospel where Jesus was some
- 53:14Speaker 2: prophet along with Muhammad and Krishna and a bunch of others.
- 53:18Speaker 2: We're saying Jesus was unique. He claimed to be God.
- 53:21Speaker 2: He said, I am. And the Jews knew exactly what
- 53:24Speaker 2: he was claiming when they said that. That's why they
- 53:26Speaker 2: hated him. And so as Christians, we can't expect to
- 53:30Speaker 2: get favors from people that don't hold that view because
- 53:34Speaker 2: they don't like it. And we could face persecution from Jews.
- 53:39Speaker 2: We could face it from Islamic. We could face it
- 53:42Speaker 2: in India from the Hindus or whoever it is. We
- 53:48Speaker 2: just have to stand firm and know what our belief
- 53:51Speaker 2: is and stick to it. And if you don't know Jesus,
- 53:55Speaker 2: then you need to, basically. So that's my final thought.
- 53:59Speaker 2: If you've got any last words, Mondo, share them and
- 54:02Speaker 2: also tell people where they find you online.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the fact of the matter is Jesus
- 54:08Speaker 1: came to die for us. He didn't tell us to
- 54:11Speaker 1: go out and to force people, to kill people that
- 54:14Speaker 1: didn't believe in him. He told us to go out
- 54:16Speaker 1: and preach the gospel and to love our enemies. I mean,
- 54:18Speaker 1: think about that, to love and to bless them. So
- 54:22Speaker 1: we're here to share the word. If somebody doesn't want it, then, hey,
- 54:26Speaker 1: that's between them and the Lord. I'm not here to
- 54:28Speaker 1: force it or to condescend anybody. We're simply to be
- 54:32Speaker 1: faithful messengers of what Jesus himself said. That's why I say, look,
- 54:35Speaker 1: don't take it up with me. I'm just here sharing
- 54:37Speaker 1: you what he said. So there is all the religions
- 54:42Speaker 1: of the world in some form or another preach a
- 54:46Speaker 1: works system that hopefully at the end, your good works
- 54:49Speaker 1: outweigh your bad works. Every single one. Christianity is unique.
- 54:53Speaker 1: among all the religions of the world, is that we're
- 54:56Speaker 1: all sinners. There's none good, no, not one. And that
- 54:59Speaker 1: we're saved not by works, but by grace through faith
- 55:01Speaker 1: in Jesus alone. So that's the gospel message. And that
- 55:05Speaker 1: really is why we're here. We want people to be
- 55:08Speaker 1: rescued and to be saved by him. We know that
- 55:11Speaker 1: judgment is coming. And so we're here to warn people
- 55:15Speaker 1: because Jesus told us to. And he loves them. He
- 55:18Speaker 1: died for them. And so we want them to follow
- 55:21Speaker 1: him and to have forgiveness of sin, which only he
- 55:24Speaker 1: can provide. And so, again, Tony, I always appreciate coming
- 55:27Speaker 1: on because that's why we're here. You know, people want
- 55:30Speaker 1: to find us, prophecywatchers.com. Of course, we're on all the
- 55:35Speaker 1: social networks. You can find us, but that's our main place.
- 55:38Speaker 1: And we're busy. We're busy like you are, trying to
- 55:40Speaker 1: get the word out and looking and watching and occupying
- 55:44Speaker 1: until he comes.
