- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Mark Simone show on Hey, So,
- 0:10Speaker 1: the White House will brief Congress at some point this morning.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Usually they do it with the Gang of Eight. They'll
- 0:18Speaker 1: brief Congress and let them know what's going on. Everybody
- 0:20Speaker 1: knows what's going on. And Jeffreys and Schumer and all
- 0:24Speaker 1: these washed up Blumenthal cheap politicians will put out these
- 0:29Speaker 1: crazy you know, it's this unauthorized, illegal war. It's perfectly legal,
- 0:33Speaker 1: perfectly fine, it's within the president's rights. He's got sixty
- 0:36Speaker 1: days to do this. There's no boots on the ground.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And then they'll put out this, Well, he didn't get
- 0:42Speaker 1: the approval of Congress. He didn't get a vote, and
- 0:44Speaker 1: you don't need a vote in Congress, you don't need
- 0:46Speaker 1: approval of You know what's funny is you go back
- 0:48Speaker 1: to Obama, who did this on a regular basis. Remember,
- 0:53Speaker 1: went into Libya, took out the leader bomb Libya, and
- 0:56Speaker 1: the same exact Democrats all put out statements congradually to
- 1:00Speaker 1: President Obama for taking swift, decisive action. And you've got
- 1:06Speaker 1: all this video of all the Democrats saying, we've got
- 1:08Speaker 1: to get rid of the Ayatola, we got to liberate
- 1:11Speaker 1: or ran. So it's I mean, it's the hypocrisy democrats
- 1:17Speaker 1: are famous for. Now there's some surprising exceptions, like Jeb Bush.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Here's Jeb Bush praising President Trump for the Iran operation.
- 1:28Speaker 1: This is time to take their country back. They should
- 1:30Speaker 1: take their country. Trump engaged extensively in good faith to
- 1:34Speaker 1: achieve a diplomatic solution. President getting praised by Jeb Bush. Now,
- 1:40Speaker 1: this is the second time we've seen this in a
- 1:42Speaker 1: couple of months now. Jeb Bush was on his way
- 1:47Speaker 1: to becoming president, or at least get in the Republican nomination,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and Donald Trump got in there and destroyed him. He
- 1:52Speaker 1: wiped out the Bush dynasty. And Bush hated Trump, all
- 1:56Speaker 1: the Bushes, you know, everybody involved in Bush world hated Trump,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and they attacked him left and right. So and I
- 2:03Speaker 1: don't blame them. I mean, you know, I don't agree
- 2:06Speaker 1: with them, but you know, the guy wiped you out.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I could see attacking him. What happened. Why is Jeb
- 2:11Speaker 1: Bush every so often now praising Trump? I don't know.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm just guessing. I've run into Jeb Bush a few
- 2:19Speaker 1: times here in New York, always in a restaurant. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: always see him sitting there with a group of business
- 2:24Speaker 1: guys who are whining and dining him. And obviously, you know,
- 2:29Speaker 1: when you got nothing left politically, you can't run for anything.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Your political career is over. You can go make some money.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You can become a big lobbyist. You can get a
- 2:38Speaker 1: lot of these big companies and these big business guys
- 2:41Speaker 1: to pay you a lot of money to make phone
- 2:43Speaker 1: calls for him, introduce them to people, help them get deal.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So I look to me like that's what he was
- 2:49Speaker 1: doing with all these and they were always different companies.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Bush sitting there in a restaurant with a bunch of
- 2:54Speaker 1: so But to make that business really work, you got
- 2:58Speaker 1: to make it look like you got access to the
- 3:00Speaker 1: White House, to the President, you're on good terms with everybody.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I think that's why all of a sudden he's
- 3:07Speaker 1: shocking the world by praising Trump all the time. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: at some point he'll get himself in the White House
- 3:12Speaker 1: and post with Trump and that'll help that lobbying business
- 3:15Speaker 1: grow even more and he'll make many many more millions
- 3:18Speaker 1: that way. You hear that noise, what is it? Oh,
- 3:25Speaker 1: sounds like the subway going. It's the maintenance person with
- 3:29Speaker 1: that car down in the hallway. We got great soundproofing
- 3:32Speaker 1: in these studios. Where was it. Oh, the President shocked
- 3:37Speaker 1: the world this morning with a startling announcement. He will
- 3:42Speaker 1: go and appear at the White House Correspondence dinner. That's
- 3:46Speaker 1: that stupid thing they do every year in his tradition,
- 3:50Speaker 1: that the President appear at the White House correspondent to dinner.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They always have a comedian. For years, it was a
- 3:56Speaker 1: great comedian like Jay Leno or somebody who would do
- 4:00Speaker 1: very funny monologue attacking both sides, and it was always
- 4:03Speaker 1: for Then over the last few years, the White House
- 4:06Speaker 1: Correspondence Dinner got Trump Derangement syndrome started under Obama, where
- 4:10Speaker 1: suddenly it was always left wing comedians and the only
- 4:15Speaker 1: victim that got attacked was the Republicans, and it just
- 4:19Speaker 1: got totally partisan, totally woke, left wing. So when Trump
- 4:25Speaker 1: came along, he stopped going to the White House Correspondence dinner.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It was the first time a president didn't appear there. Now,
- 4:31Speaker 1: this White House Correspondence Dinner, it's just like another They
- 4:34Speaker 1: call it the nerd prom It's like a big gala
- 4:37Speaker 1: in the big ballroom in Washington, DC. And you'd see
- 4:41Speaker 1: it on TV on a Saturday night, and you might think, Ah,
- 4:45Speaker 1: what's the difference, It's just another there's a million of
- 4:47Speaker 1: these gallas who needs as well. It was very important
- 4:51Speaker 1: for the media, very important for these news organizations. First
- 4:54Speaker 1: of all, it made a lot of money. They would
- 4:56Speaker 1: sell those tables for fifty twenty five seven, five thousand,
- 5:01Speaker 1: and guys like Bloomberg who wanted to be in with
- 5:04Speaker 1: the media would go down there and buy five six tables.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And for all the media organizations, if you're the Washington Post,
- 5:11Speaker 1: if you're NBC, if you're MSNBC, you'd buy all these tables,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and you'd invite all your sponsors, all your advertisers. It
- 5:19Speaker 1: was a big thing because every famous face in TV
- 5:22Speaker 1: news and talking you know, news talk would all be there,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Cable news, everybody would be there. So it's a big
- 5:28Speaker 1: thing to bring your top advertisers there and introduce them
- 5:31Speaker 1: all the famous faces. It helps you sell ads, and
- 5:35Speaker 1: so everybody was making it. It was a very profitable
- 5:37Speaker 1: situation for the fake news they really need to and
- 5:40Speaker 1: when the presidents stopped coming, it lost the little gravitas
- 5:46Speaker 1: and they lost a lot of money. So apparently a
- 5:49Speaker 1: deal has been made this year because for the first
- 5:51Speaker 1: time ever, they announced a week ago. This is the
- 5:54Speaker 1: only time they've ever done this. They will not have
- 5:56Speaker 1: a comedian. No comedian. They've got what's his name, Oz Perlman,
- 6:01Speaker 1: the mentalist, all right, but no comedian. This is obviously
- 6:07Speaker 1: a plot. They've been working on Trump, trying to get
- 6:11Speaker 1: him back because they need him to make the money
- 6:13Speaker 1: they used to make. So Trump is agreed he'll go
- 6:16Speaker 1: to the annual White House Correspondence dinner and there'll be
- 6:20Speaker 1: no comedian. Now the liberals are very upset. Now this
- 6:24Speaker 1: will be interesting. This might backfire on the Correspondence Association
- 6:29Speaker 1: because maybe a lot of people won't come, maybe MSNBC, CNN,
- 6:32Speaker 1: Maybe they'll boycott the thing and not buy a lot
- 6:35Speaker 1: of tables or tickets. In fact, here's one liberal guy writing,
- 6:39Speaker 1: this is awful. The White House Correspondence Association rolled over
- 6:43Speaker 1: and played dead. Watch. The tables will be filled with
- 6:45Speaker 1: right wing celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Dennis Quaid, John vod
- 6:50Speaker 1: some country band, but no celebrities that anyone would want
- 6:54Speaker 1: to meet. So this could backfire. Be interesting to see
- 7:00Speaker 1: liberal writer who goes on. I guess now the Trump
- 7:02Speaker 1: controls CBS and soon CNN that this is the future. Well,
- 7:06Speaker 1: you didn't mind when Obama owned it and controlled it,
- 7:11Speaker 1: so it'd be interesting to see what happens now. The
- 7:13Speaker 1: other thing is it was always kind of a roast.
- 7:15Speaker 1: The comedian would roast the president and if again, if
- 7:18Speaker 1: it was in the good old days when it was balanced,
- 7:20Speaker 1: would roast both sides. But then the president gets up
- 7:23Speaker 1: and roasts them back. And Trump is one of the
- 7:27Speaker 1: greatest roasters. And remember, we've never had a president that's
- 7:33Speaker 1: had actual serious roasting experience before getting an office, and
- 7:39Speaker 1: Trump has. I remember what was the last time I
- 7:43Speaker 1: saw The last big roast he did was the Al
- 7:45Speaker 1: Smith Dinner? Was it last year? No, it was not
- 7:49Speaker 1: last year. Was the year before twenty twenty four. It
- 7:52Speaker 1: was at the Hilton Hotel right over there, the Al
- 7:55Speaker 1: Smith dinner. That's the one where he went after Schumer
- 7:57Speaker 1: and he had all these incredible jokes that he made
- 8:00Speaker 1: fun of them. That's the one where Kamala Harris refused
- 8:02Speaker 1: to show up, maybe because she knew she's not a
- 8:05Speaker 1: good roaster and Trump is and he just stole the show,
- 8:09Speaker 1: just wiped out. Everybody got huge laughs. It was amazing,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and I saw him afterwards and he said, Wow, that
- 8:19Speaker 1: really went well, didn't I said, yeah, you realize you're
- 8:21Speaker 1: the only guy in the history of the White House
- 8:23Speaker 1: is a professional roaster. He goes, what do you mean?
- 8:26Speaker 1: And I forgot all this. I said, you know how
- 8:28Speaker 1: many roasts you've been in? Real roast, not this little thing,
- 8:31Speaker 1: the major Friars Club roast. And I looked around the room.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I said, right here in this room, you did a
- 8:37Speaker 1: hundred great roasts Friars Club roast, where you were being roasted.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You were the roaster. You were on the day, He said.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Millions of these comedies Central after that, even before that,
- 8:48Speaker 1: we used to do private roasts a lot of times.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I was the MC but he'd be roasted. He'd get
- 8:53Speaker 1: up and roast every back. So he's done it hundreds
- 8:56Speaker 1: of times, major league groas, not this little White House
- 8:58Speaker 1: Correspondents dinner. So he's gonna he's gonna be well armed.
- 9:03Speaker 1: He's gonna come in with the best jokes and just
- 9:05Speaker 1: wipe these people out. It's gonna be great to watch. Hey, McDonald's,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I told you about this a couple weeks ago. McDonald's
- 9:15Speaker 1: needs to do something. Shake shack and all these other
- 9:17Speaker 1: chains five guys. They're starting to really catch up. They're bigger, juicier.
- 9:22Speaker 1: The Big Mac is great. We love McDonald's, but they
- 9:24Speaker 1: got to compete and keep up. So they've launched a
- 9:27Speaker 1: big new product. It's called the Big Arch. Basically what
- 9:33Speaker 1: it is, it's a Big Mac, but bigger, much, much, bigger,
- 9:36Speaker 1: bigger Patty's. The one problem with the Big Mac. It's delicious,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but the bread to meat ratio is off. There's too
- 9:44Speaker 1: much bread based on the amount of meat. There should
- 9:46Speaker 1: be more meat less bread. I think they've corrected that
- 9:49Speaker 1: with the Big Arch. Now, the problem is how do
- 9:52Speaker 1: you introduce it. Well, they made a huge mistake. They
- 9:55Speaker 1: had the CEO of McDonald's do the video where he's
- 9:58Speaker 1: attempting to eat it. You got a professional, get somebody cute.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's him trying to eat it, and he's trying to
- 10:04Speaker 1: be cute, trying to be funny. H hey man man
- 10:10Speaker 1: trying to be funny, trying to be cute, and it
- 10:13Speaker 1: just backfires. He just looks lame and silly, having trouble
- 10:16Speaker 1: eating it. All right, the moment of truth that is
- 10:20Speaker 1: so good. That's a big bite for a Big Arch.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It's distinctively McDonald's. Only McDonald's could do this type of burger.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But it also is unlike anything else on our menu.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's a delicious product. This isn't the biggest corporation on earth.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Can you imagine biggest corporation on Earth? And this is
- 10:40Speaker 1: who does the video? H yeah, I get a professional
- 10:46Speaker 1: to it, so we'll see what it tastes like. They
- 10:49Speaker 1: started in a couple of other countries and apparently did
- 10:52Speaker 1: very well, so they're gonna bring it here and uh,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and we'll see what happens. Hey, the problem with what's
- 10:59Speaker 1: going on in Iran, I mean, it's great, get rid
- 11:01Speaker 1: of the biggest terrorists on earth, bring peace to the
- 11:04Speaker 1: Middle East at some point, But we're worried about an
- 11:08Speaker 1: Iranian sleeper cell here being activated in this country. The
- 11:12Speaker 1: other thing to worry about a lone wolves. You already
- 11:15Speaker 1: saw one in Austin, Texas who went in and shot
- 11:17Speaker 1: up a bar. These lone wolfs who might do something.
- 11:21Speaker 1: But and here's Hokel talking to Governor Hokel. That's a
- 11:24Speaker 1: big threat.
- 11:25Speaker 2: We don't know how many people like that are out
- 11:27Speaker 2: there already and willing to take action in furtherance of
- 11:31Speaker 2: the regime's goals and to retaliate against New Yorkers or Americans.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Now the problem is, good, bear in mind, anybody that's here,
- 11:39Speaker 1: any terrorist, any extremist, any lone wolf, was let in
- 11:43Speaker 1: by Kathy Hokeel and her buddies. They're the ones that
- 11:46Speaker 1: let him in with their open border, Kathy Hokele, with
- 11:49Speaker 1: their sanctuary city, sanctuary state. So if there is God
- 11:53Speaker 1: forbid a problem, they're the ones that let him in.
- 11:55Speaker 1: So it's a big problem. Oh, let's get back to
- 12:01Speaker 1: Bill Clinton testifying and all of that. So Bill Clinton
- 12:06Speaker 1: was asked about Donald Trump and Epstein. You know, Trump
- 12:10Speaker 1: cut off Epstein very very very early. And apparently there
- 12:15Speaker 1: used to be golf tournaments for I can't remember a
- 12:20Speaker 1: great cause, and Trump would lend his golf course to
- 12:22Speaker 1: the charity. Oh it was Joe Torrey's Safe at Home,
- 12:25Speaker 1: Joe Torrey's great charity. So Trump would lend him the
- 12:28Speaker 1: golf course. And they have big celebrity golf tournament and
- 12:31Speaker 1: in one of them, Bill Clinton played with Trump in
- 12:35Speaker 1: a foursome and he said, during the game, they talked
- 12:37Speaker 1: about Epstein. But he was asked about Trump and Epstein.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I hate this, but because I don't believe I should
- 12:43Speaker 3: exact anything, but I do not want to leave the
- 12:46Speaker 3: impressions since there was no follow up question. He's never
- 12:54Speaker 3: the president, never liss twenty something years ago, never said
- 12:58Speaker 3: anything to me to make me think he was involved
- 13:01Speaker 3: in anything in profitable regard to Epstein, he just didn't.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Well. He tried to tell this story about why Trump
- 13:13Speaker 1: broke out with Epstein, and he said it was over
- 13:15Speaker 1: a real estate deal. That's not why they broke up.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They broke up before that. That was one of the
- 13:20Speaker 1: final straws. They broke up because Epstein hired away a
- 13:24Speaker 1: couple of Mara a Lago employees massuses that made Trump mad.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And then they caught him making inappropriate advances to a
- 13:31Speaker 1: minor in the locker room, and it turned out she
- 13:34Speaker 1: was the daughter of a member. That was the final straw.
- 13:36Speaker 1: He was thrown out of the club. Trump banned him
- 13:39Speaker 1: from the club and that was it for them. And
- 13:41Speaker 1: then later there was this real estate deal. There was
- 13:43Speaker 1: a house that was it was Abe Gosman. He was
- 13:46Speaker 1: a very wealthy guy, built a hundred million dollar house.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And then I believe or not, he went broke and
- 13:52Speaker 1: the bank foreclosed and it was a foreclosure sale, so
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's a real bargain. Trump wanted it, and all of
- 13:58Speaker 1: a sudden, Epstein comes out of nowhere and said it's
- 14:00Speaker 1: bidding against him. So that was like the final start.
- 14:03Speaker 1: That's what Clint was talking about. Trump ended up winning
- 14:05Speaker 1: the House, though it's more a Clinton.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Did you ever did you ever have any sexual contact
- 14:14Speaker 4: with young women or girls in the presence of epscen
- 14:18Speaker 4: or Maxwell? No, did you ever have sexual contact with
- 14:25Speaker 4: any young woman or girl introduced to you by Epstein
- 14:29Speaker 4: or Maxwell? Mister president, with the benefit of hindsight, were
- 14:38Speaker 4: there things you witness that could have suggested that Epstein
- 14:43Speaker 4: was trafficking and sexually abusing young women and girls?
- 14:54Speaker 3: I did not believe.
- 14:55Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, he's uh. You know, the old Clinton
- 15:00Speaker 1: would talg like this. He was a real fast talker.
- 15:02Speaker 1: He was great. Now the current Bill Clinton is starting
- 15:06Speaker 1: to sound slow. Little Joe Biden creeping in there. Hey,
- 15:10Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 15:13Speaker 1: to two to one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two to one zero seven ten. Hey,
- 15:19Speaker 1: we're hosting that big, great event coming up March nineteenth.
- 15:24Speaker 1: It's a networking event. We're gonna have a lot of
- 15:25Speaker 1: top CEOs, business leaders. So if you're a business leader,
- 15:30Speaker 1: a business owner and you want to be there, it's
- 15:32Speaker 1: a great, great cocktail party six to eight pm, March nineteenth,

- 15:45Speaker 1: speak to the group. He's a great speaker. But it's
- 15:47Speaker 1: basically a lot of fun and a lot of networking.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And it's at a beautiful place, this new office building,
- 15:53Speaker 1: two Park Avenue. It's Park Avenue in thirty fourth Streets,
