  Speaker 1: role motives, and I found something in James Chapter four,

  Speaker 1: verse number three, selfish or impure motives. Selfish or impure

  Speaker 1: motives can cause God to withhold what we're asking for, right,

  Speaker 1: And we don't want God to withhold anything from us.

  Speaker 1: not earned. Righteousness is your gift that you give us,

  Speaker 1: why God is not answering your specific prayers. I have

  Speaker 1: no clue of what your relationship is with the Lord

  Speaker 1: is telling us simply, you ask God for something and

  Speaker 1: do not receive it, and He gives us a reason

  Speaker 1: because you act with wrong motives. See that, out of

  Speaker 1: selfishness or worth an unrighteous agenda, so that when you

  Speaker 1: get what you want, you may spend it on your

  Speaker 1: hedonistic desires. In other words, people pray to God as
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: like if he's a genie a bottle. Oh Lord, I

  Speaker 1: need something from you, and I know you could do it.

  Speaker 1: And they're right. God could do whatever God wants to do.

  Speaker 1: His will and purpose and plan is one hundred percent holy,

  Speaker 1: one hundred percent righteous, one hundred percent per So we're

  Speaker 1: not asking a deity that has no power. We're asking

  Speaker 1: asking God for something, and we want to receive what

  Speaker 1: we're asking for, right. But because we might have ROM motives,

  Speaker 1: is protecting us because he knows that when we get

  Speaker 1: what we want from him, we might go crazy and

  Speaker 1: spend it on our own hedonistic desires. The Bible is clear,

  Speaker 1: James is clear. Rom motives stops God from answering your

  Speaker 1: specific prayer. Rom motives, unrighteous agendas stop God. Right. He

  Speaker 1: chooses not to respond. He chooses not to give you

  Speaker 1: what you're asking for when we're coming to God with
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: roll motives, because he's protecting us, guiding us, guarding us.

  Speaker 1: He loves us, and he doesn't want us to get
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: something and then ruin what we get because we have
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: the ROM motives, we have selfish desires, and that we're
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: not going to do anything to glorify God. After the petition,

  Speaker 1: we need. I've actually heard ministers pray that and say

  Speaker 1: that amen, to their congregation, to their community, to the

  Speaker 1: people they're in front of, that God would do whatever
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: we ask of him. But they forget to add this,

  Speaker 1: as long as we have pure hearts and pure motives, Amen,

  Speaker 1: and it's aligned to God's word and his will, then

  Speaker 1: he will give us whatever we ask for. Very important

  Speaker 1: part that a lot of people miss, and they don't

  Speaker 1: tell you amen because they want to make sure everybody's

  Speaker 1: following them instead of following the Lord himself. Good morning,

  Speaker 1: where we're at. Man. I've been praying a lot lately, Man,

  Speaker 1: for families, family members, people who need God to be

  Speaker 1: like showing up right now in their hearts and their
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: minds and their lives physically, emotionally and spiritually. And I'm
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: trying to make sure my heart is right, right, my
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: motives are right, because it all depends on what God
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: wants to do right ultimately. But why being the way
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: of God when he wants to do something in our hearts,
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: when he wants to do something in our lives, when
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: he wants to bless when he wants to grant us
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: what we're asking for in prayer, why would we get
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: in the way We run motives and selfish desires. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So I try to stare you call it, steer clear

  Speaker 1: from those motives and those attitudes, Amen, and those actions,

  Speaker 1: and make sure that I'm humbling myself, make sure that

  Speaker 1: have these thought patterns that are ungodly, but to make

  Speaker 1: sure those ungolly thought patterns are not turning into actions,
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: physical actions that cause me to stray away. What about you, Amen,

  Speaker 1: I know a lot of people won't admit that, and
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: a lot of ministers, evangelists, pastors, teach, profets, apostles will

  Speaker 1: never say that because they want to. They want to
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: make you believe or try to convince you that they
• 14:08
  Speaker 1: have this one hundred percent downpack and they need to
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: repent because no one, no human has this one hundred

  Speaker 1: percent downpack a man, we are all growing in grace,
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: we are all growing in Christ. We're all growing in
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. So

  Speaker 1: we're gonna get hit by temptation. We're gonna hit be
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: hit by sin, We're gonna be hit by the world's system.

  Speaker 1: We're gonna be hit by all these things that are

  Speaker 1: happening at the same time. Because last time I checked,

  Speaker 1: the world doesn't stop moving just because I'm born again.

  Speaker 1: The world doesn't stop trying to challenge our way of
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: thinking because you're born again and you're saved. The world's

  Speaker 1: system is corrupt, the world's system is broken a man,
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: and the world's system paints itself as the greatest thing
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: since sliced bread. And it's like a magnet drawing your
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: drawing your leash towards it. Amen, So be careful. Once

  Speaker 1: you say, oh I got this, you might be close
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: to falling. So stay humble, keep yourself humble. Don't get

  Speaker 1: involved with pride, don't get involved with angry people. Don't

  Speaker 1: get into a position where you're too lonely or too
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: tired and then you're starting to make decisions or you're
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: starting to pray to God at those times and asking
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: God for things that you know and I know that
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: He probably won't get to us because we have the
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: wrong motives and we're basing our prayer life based on feelings,
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: not based in faith. So wrong motives, selfish or impure
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: motives can cause God. And this is a possibility. It's
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: not one untred percent right. It might cause God. On
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: might's cause God to withhold what we're asking for. It's
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: almost like that, that grace and mercy of God. Amen. People.

  Speaker 1: People try to seemingly take advantage of that, but you
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: can't take advantage of God's grace. You can't take advantage

  Speaker 1: of God's mercy. The grace of God is God giving
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: us what we don't deserve. The mercy of God is
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: God holding back what we do deserve, so grace we
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: get what we don't deserve. Mercy God is holding back
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: what we do deserve. And he did that all the cross,
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, once for all. That's why the Bible says,

  Speaker 1: whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  Speaker 1: My friends, the Hebrew is where I say, whosoever is

  Speaker 1: relates to call upon the name of the Lord shall
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: be saved. And that's not true a man, whosoever, that's
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: any nation, any tongue, any eth, neicicity, all of it.

  Speaker 1: All people who call upon the name of the Lord

  Speaker 1: with a pure heart, humble heart, sincere heart, call upon

  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus, you will be saved. The Bible says,

  Speaker 1: not a specific nation, not a specific people all, because

  Speaker 1: Jesus didn't die for a specific nation of specific people

  Speaker 1: who died on that cross for all, once for all,

  Speaker 1: the Scripture says, right, So when you acts, you should

  Speaker 1: expect to receive as long as your motives are right.

  Speaker 1: When you ask, you should expect to receive as long

  Speaker 1: as your heart is right when you ask, and you

  Speaker 1: have a wrong motive though, don't expect anything out right.

  Speaker 1: Don't expect Oh man, my prayer life is good. God

  Speaker 1: will give me what I need. Meanwhile, you're asking for

  Speaker 1: something for selfish gain. You're asking himself for something for recognition.

  Speaker 1: I've heard, I've been in prayer circles that the prayer
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: person is really asking God for things that will really
• 17:53
  Speaker 1: not really help somebody else but only them and their families,
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: or bring them fame, fortune, recognize money, right, finances, financial breakthroughs,
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: healthy health, issue breakthroughs right. And I'm like, who's this
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: person praying for. They're praying for others, or they're praying
• 18:11
  Speaker 1: just for themselves. In prayer circles, I've been in those
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: separate prayer circles where it seems like the prayer warrior,
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: the person that's praying or leading the prayer, is only
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: asking for things that would benefit them. So be careful,
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: and you could silently, if you're in that circle, you
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: could silently pray that that person will soften their heart.
• 18:29
  Speaker 1: You could silently pray that the person will loose their
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: wrong motives, get away from their wrong motives, and turn
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: back to the Lord who saved them and rescue them
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: and gave them this wisdom, gave them this understanding, gave
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: them this connection with God that was all by way
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: of Jesus to Christ. Amen. And we are filled with
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. All of us who are born again, all
• 18:52
  Speaker 1: of us who are given the right to becalled children

  Speaker 1: of God, have God's Holy Spirit living and breathing inside

  Speaker 1: asking him to give health breakthroughs, a financial breakthroughs, of

  Speaker 1: relational breakthroughs for every single person that needs it, including myself. Right.

  Speaker 1: And because of that, I'm praying to the only, true, loving, holy,

  Speaker 1: righteous God. I know he can. Hey, man, won't he

  Speaker 1: do it? Yes? He will, according to his perfect will

  Speaker 1: over our lives, not my will, but God's will over

  Speaker 1: your life and over my life. So when you ask,

  Speaker 1: you do not receive why because you ask with wrong

  Speaker 1: motives that you may spend what you get on your

  Speaker 1: own pleasures. Amazing right. And people will say, how does

  Speaker 1: that person who really ain't about that life that's really

  Speaker 1: not serving God, because this is the assumptions we make,

  Speaker 1: that's really not serving God. How are their prayers being
