Nine confirmed cases of cyclosporiasis linked to lettuce at Cheshire Medical Center’s cafeteria — part of a larger national outbreak now under recall by Taylor Farms. Sixteen people, including staff, were exposed; no patients are affected. Hospital has halted salad bar service. If you ate lettuce there between early June and July 20th and have persistent watery diarrhea, fatigue, or cramps — get tested. Symptoms appear about a week later, but can take longer.
