Latest / Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life / They Don't Want To Help You. They Want Your Idea.
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I know you want to be helpful.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Let's say I was setting up a channel, uh, maybe for YouTube or maybe a podcast where I really paid attention to what people were saying back to me.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: And then on that same channel, I wanted you to tell me what you're currently doing.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Let's explore this together, I would say.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Let's find out exactly where I might be able to help you, I would say.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: And of course, it wouldn't cost you anything.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: I just want you to send me your ideas, what you're working on, your current workflow, your strategies using fill in the blank.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's using artificial intelligence.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: That's probably the biggest attractor of the world.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: How are you using it in your business?
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Let's try to make it better together.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: And then as an influencer or somebody that has some kind of standing or wherewithal, you say, oh my God, Connor's going to look at it, Peter's going to look at it, Alex is going to look at it.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Fill in your favorite podcaster's name.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Fill out your favorite influencer's name.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Put it in there.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: And then you send it.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: Well, they probably.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: And then let's say, as part of my thing, I have AI monitoring that channel for all the good ideas that people are sending in.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: And then I'm having AI build me businesses, reference to all of those ideas.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: But then I'm having it send you some kind of a response so you don't feel slighted, you don't really realize what's going on, and you're happy.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: You're happy because Connor said something to you or fill in the blank said something to you.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: That's what is happening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, because people that are out there trying to say that they're going to help you, just like these companies that have all of our data, all of our information, they're maybe wanting to help, and maybe our ideas aren't so amazing that they're going to want to take them and replicate them and build them out.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: But if you have something, an intelligence that has been created like AI, that has a capability of being better than all of us in all respects, I think labor and work and cognitive ability is subject to replacement, at least at some point.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Now, maybe it's not tomorrow, but the way this thing's moving, it might be tomorrow.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: But for you to think just for a moment that these people are really wanting your ideas to try to help you grow, try to help you potentially replace them or level up above them, unfortunately, that's not the world I see.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Now, maybe I'm slighted because of my generation.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm slighted because of what I've seen when I was a cop, and what I've seen is I've been a real estate agent.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: What I've seen is I've been an early AI adopter and just watching all the games and all the drama and all the struggle that seemed to happen from, you know, the mom and pop small business getting stepped on by a major corporate business.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: I saw that in the hometown I grew up in when the massive, massive uh industry came into town and just wiped out all the mom and pop businesses.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: That's capitalism, so that's okay.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: But also they're generating these kind of capitalist ideas online.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: You're seeing the Maserati, the Lamborghinis, all the fancy stuff, just like the videos and the commercials were back in the 80s and 90s, showing these people that are ultra-rich, they have the best-looking people surrounding them, wearing the least amount of clothing, and they're telling you how you can do it as well.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: But it's only going to cost you$299 a month.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Now, the price of admission to other people's ideas, that's almost free.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And in fact, in most cases, it is free.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: So you're watching a video and you're getting very excited, and you have them tell you, hey, share with me what you're doing because I really care.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: And they're looking dead right in the camera.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: They're probably not reading a script at that point, and they're giving you all the empathy, all the love, all the proposed support that they can generate.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: So you send in your idea.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: You send in what you're working on.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: You say you're building this nanotechnological, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, whatever it is.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: And they're, of course, having AI scrape it.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Now, if they're really, you know, boots to nuts, they might be reading every single thing.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: But in most cases, all of those reading things, that's very automated.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So all the ideas go into some kind of a workflow where AI is looking at them, parsing them as it believes is important, but in some way giving everything out to the person that's asking for them so they can put their human eyeballs on it.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: But then if something sparks off an idea, something's different, something solves a problem that people haven't been addressing, and the problem is out there, the one that you just solved, but maybe you don't know how to take it from A to B or from B to C or whatever it is you happen to be doing with it.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: But you came up with the idea because this is a big hole in your life because of your existence, your experience, your background, you see it much more close than everybody else.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: But then you take it to somebody and you offer that as information for them to try to have them help you because that was the offering.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: They take it, they don't have your background, they don't have your tried and true experience, your blood, sweat, and tears experience.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: So they see it, it makes sense to them.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: They're like, huh, I didn't realize nursing needed this thing, or I didn't realize a stockbroker needed this thing.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I didn't realize attorneys really could use this.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: I didn't realize a doctor's office could use this little thing.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: So they build it, they monopolize it, they sell it, and it's out there for everybody.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And you just wanted, you just out of the kindness and goodness of your heart responded.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Now, AI has a lot of our information.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: AI sees a lot of our interactions.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: I know there's a lot of people that say, you know what, if you help enough other people get what they want, then you'll never lack for anything.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's actually the correct terminology.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying you have to be Scrooge and hide and lock yourself down.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: But when you have these ideas, nobody's really going to care.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: The people that are closest to you are going to say you're ridiculous.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: The people that are a little bit further from you are probably going to say it's nonsense.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: And the people that are very, very, very close, they'll probably also say, Oh my God, you've you've tried this 1,500 times before.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: We remember every failure you've had.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: That's why you started drinking and quit drinking, started smoking and quit smoking.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: This all relates to that.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Can't you just be normal?
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Can't you just do something so none of us have to stress anymore about what you're going to do next?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: So maybe those ideas are best kept secret.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: It's like trying to lose weight.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: You know, you go tell these people, because you failed a thousand times, you go try to tell them, and I've been in that genre, so I'm not just, you know, sparking this from some good book I read.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: But you go tell those same people that you're around that, hey, you know, yeah, this is it.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Can't do it anymore.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I've I've gotten so fat, I just can't stand it, and my joints hurt.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: And I now the doctor told me yesterday I have this.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna start this.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: This is I'm gonna start this.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And they're like, great, that's just perfect.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Now all of us have to suffer because you're about to start some nonsense that you're not gonna be able to carry through and finish.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Maybe those things should be kept secret.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: In the Bible, it talks about fasting.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: I and I'll do this to you in the Bible.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: It says don't go out there and brag.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: It's oh my God, I've been fasting, I've been fasting for the Lord, I've been fasting to lose weight, I've been fasting to get healthy.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it says wash your face and shut the hell up and don't tell anybody.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And just go through your mechanism.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Because just like your ideas and your business proposals, the things that you generate, the things that you figure out on your own, those are sacred, just like fasting for a spiritual intervention or some kind of a spiritual awakening are.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: So keep it to yourself.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: You don't have to go tell everybody, keep your mouth shut.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: And you know, this is gonna fall on a lot of deaf ears.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: This is this is a pattern of practice.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: This is something I was taught very recently, because before I would tell everybody I was an open book, but that open book had many ideas taken from it and applied faster than I was ready to ship.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: Anyway, you can trust the voice of somebody telling you that.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: Somebody that's very close to you that loves you unconditionally and gives you that advice.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: So thank you, Roxy.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I hope you're well.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one, and I hope this helps.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with honor.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Have a great day.
