- 0:58Speaker 2: And I haven't been a card collector in forever, and
- 1:00Speaker 2: I'm a now I'm not now a clar now, but
- 1:02Speaker 2: I have some We did a whole sit down going
- 1:04Speaker 2: through some of the sign cards that I have. Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 2: also give me just I don't want to announce it yet.
- 1:10Speaker 3: What your big your big win?
- 1:13Speaker 2: No it's not.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Oh you still haven't told this with the big win.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It might even be here.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Right now, but I don't want to get it. But
- 1:17Speaker 2: I talked about it later. I've actually been doing it
- 1:19Speaker 2: all for a reason that I haven't shared with you, guys.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I haven't just been like stringing us along anxious to
- 1:25Speaker 2: get a bunch of crap. I'm never going to use
- 1:26Speaker 2: like sign stuff. I've actually been doing it for a reason. Okay,
- 1:30Speaker 2: And you know where you're your friends here? That mean
- 1:32Speaker 2: we're not your wife. We don't care what you do
- 1:35Speaker 2: with you in your spare time, where your money.
- 1:37Speaker 3: No, no, no, So why are you acting like because I
- 1:39Speaker 3: feel like you've practiced whatever you're.
- 1:42Speaker 5: He's not a whole scenario.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I don't even want it.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm not going to reveal it this episode because I
- 1:46Speaker 2: want you guys to hear the cards. But I have
- 1:48Speaker 2: a plan that I've been working with for the last
- 1:52Speaker 2: two months. I know you guys just think I went crazy.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah, out of control.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Actually what I would, but I haven't, and I can
- 1:58Speaker 2: reveal to you what I've been up to. That's all, okay,
- 2:02Speaker 2: but I'll do it next episode. He's practicing on us.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I know it, I know it, but.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I'm not doing it today. Okay, you're still working on
- 2:09Speaker 3: your speech. I've already I told my wife from the
- 2:12Speaker 3: very beginning what I was going to do, so she
- 2:13Speaker 3: knew the whole time.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's known since then.
- 2:16Speaker 3: It's just on us, it's not even on us. It
- 2:19Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But since like late December, I've been up to something
- 2:25Speaker 2: and I will tell you guys what it is. Probably
- 2:26Speaker 2: next episode. You can hear all the cards that I've won. Okay,
- 2:28Speaker 2: the next thing.
- 2:29Speaker 3: All right, thanks for getting dressed up, but she well, no,
- 2:32Speaker 3: I've got to cut off.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Show down.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Where at the house?
- 2:36Speaker 2: All right, Time for the tittle tattle. Let's go.
- 2:41Speaker 3: The tittle tattle. Let's get up.
- 2:46Speaker 6: We are officially in March.
- 2:48Speaker 3: We are.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Yeah, if you guys didn't know, a great next question
- 2:52Speaker 6: it is, what is your favorite month of the year
- 2:54Speaker 6: for sports?
- 2:55Speaker 2: I know the easy answer should be March. In March,
- 2:57Speaker 2: madness is fun the first day, but I'm still gonna
- 3:00Speaker 2: go with January like that, December January because it's college football,
- 3:05Speaker 2: the end of college football, the playoffs, the NFL like all.
- 3:08Speaker 2: If I have to pick a month, I'm probably gonna
- 3:09Speaker 2: go January for sports for life. I hate January. February yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 2: too cold.
- 3:13Speaker 3: But January you.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Have the NFL and college football playoffs, and that's awesome.
- 3:17Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go January first, not January. January as
- 3:20Speaker 2: my first selection. December is my second selection. March is
- 3:25Speaker 2: my third because to me, I like March madness, but
- 3:27Speaker 2: I only really really love it if Arkansas is in it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I love it if they're not, but then I just
- 3:33Speaker 2: love it for the first weekend with all the upsets,
- 3:34Speaker 2: and then it gets to actual real games. Yeah, so
- 3:38Speaker 2: in order January, Yeah, you said December.
- 3:42Speaker 6: March, January, December, anything at like summer July. No, I
- 3:47Speaker 6: don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 2: The only thing about summer that's summer Olympics four years.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I get it, like NBA Finals happening like yeah, and
- 3:56Speaker 2: baseball like but baseball like the adult No answers.
- 4:02Speaker 3: That, what about the start of football? Is that Seceptember?
- 4:05Speaker 4: September?
- 4:06Speaker 2: That's that's a lot of fun.
- 4:07Speaker 3: That's really exciting.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But I'm doing fantasy drafts absolutely. I prop it that fourth. Okay,
- 4:12Speaker 2: after March, because I like the beginning of baseball a
- 4:16Speaker 2: little bit like beging a college Baseball'm a Arkansas baseball fan,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and I like March. I love March madness, I love
- 4:22Speaker 2: love it at Arkansas's Inn. But football just dominates everything. Yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 2: and that's why I'm gonna go January, December, and then March,
- 4:29Speaker 2: then September four.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Okay, top four.
- 4:34Speaker 3: That wasn't the question. What's your favorite? January?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Answer?
- 4:39Speaker 3: January? All right, what's your fifth? Go ahead, you start
- 4:42Speaker 3: naming all twelve?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Okay, April's cool because it does master Chip the Masters Masters.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You got drafts, right, you got a draft in a Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 2: the end of April.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Yeah, We're not gonna do all twelve, but.
- 4:55Speaker 3: That's I'm least my favorite. November probably like July.
- 5:01Speaker 2: August, college football is getting fired up.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Yeply it's just baseball.
- 5:06Speaker 2: And isn't July that one time of the year where
- 5:08Speaker 2: there's like a day or two days where no sport
- 5:10Speaker 2: is happening, like if all baseball's off, Yeah, like no
- 5:13Speaker 2: sport happens at all.
- 5:14Speaker 6: Yeah, that's one. Like the SP's are a thing too
- 5:15Speaker 6: because of that.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they're usually running NASCAR races. Then you guys
- 5:19Speaker 3: need to get off my balls about that, because he
- 5:21Speaker 3: asked me and I went deep into it. But my
- 5:23Speaker 3: number one is January thirty minutes later, my eighth favorite.
- 5:28Speaker 4: January.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Next question, all right, there was a record set in
- 5:31Speaker 6: the forty over the weekend of the combine. So on
- 5:33Speaker 6: a scale of one to ten, what do you rank
- 5:35Speaker 6: the forty yard dash when looking at a player?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Four?
- 5:39Speaker 2: However, if it's close between the two, then I start
- 5:45Speaker 2: to individually look at things like speed, like just strict
- 5:48Speaker 2: forty speed. But he's a receiver, savor where that yeah
- 5:52Speaker 2: plays in Texas. Yeah, and so he ran a four
- 5:55Speaker 2: to one the previous record four two two, and they
- 5:57Speaker 2: initially his first run was like a four two three
- 5:59Speaker 2: or something. Then he ran again and it was a
- 6:01Speaker 2: four to two two, and then afterward they went, we
- 6:04Speaker 2: measured it wrong, four two to one. So he sets
- 6:07Speaker 2: the record. Now, his size is crazy to me. He's like,
- 6:13Speaker 2: and you know, you may look at it, but I
- 6:15Speaker 2: think he's like five nine one sixty five.
- 6:17Speaker 6: Oh wow, yeah, very big.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So he can fly and you look at other receivers
- 6:22Speaker 2: that are like a like a wattle.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Zave Flowers is a good example because he's small. Davonte
- 6:26Speaker 3: Es yes, six one sixty okay, so he's a little taller,
- 6:30Speaker 3: but five pounds like.
- 6:31Speaker 6: That was as sorry. His last year won seventy two.
- 6:34Speaker 2: They measured him at the combine and won sixty five.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Okay, that looks like it is.
- 6:37Speaker 3: This cheetah size. Is this a Tyreek hill? He's a
- 6:40Speaker 3: little thicker.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, right, he's got he's gotta be one nine two
- 6:45Speaker 2: hundred because he's ripped.
- 6:49Speaker 3: So it matters.
- 6:50Speaker 2: This fun like DK Metcalfee, he ran and being that
- 6:53Speaker 2: big running that.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Fairly is in the giant.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah, our boy Cooper BB ran a pretty good one.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I was watching all that.
- 6:58Speaker 4: That was cool.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Watched him.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So yeah matters, but it doesn't. If they don't like you,
- 7:02Speaker 2: they ain't gonna go. But we should change our mind
- 7:04Speaker 2: because it's forty times.
- 7:05Speaker 6: But like John Ross who had the previous record, Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 6: because of that forty he got. Look he got yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 6: drafts on the top what twenty or so? Yes, and
- 7:12Speaker 6: he was nothing paying out to be nothing and.
- 7:14Speaker 2: He got I think he had some injury issues too,
- 7:16Speaker 2: But yes, but everybody does.
- 7:18Speaker 3: What's the technology on this? Is it a dude with
- 7:19Speaker 3: a stopwatch still? Or do they have a laser?
- 7:21Speaker 1: Like?
- 7:22Speaker 3: Are they like? Are they real? Real accurate? What do
- 7:24Speaker 3: you think?
- 7:27Speaker 1: Sure?
- 7:27Speaker 3: After a big fat it's take pleasure. It's got counting one.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Tell it's fun to watch. Yeah, he'll probably move up some,
- 7:36Speaker 2: which he should for being so fast. They probably knew
- 7:38Speaker 2: he was that fast anyway. Maybe not record setting, but
- 7:42Speaker 2: four two three four and is there a big difference
- 7:44Speaker 2: in four two three and four two one?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Not really the record.
- 7:46Speaker 6: It's fun, but also you.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Add the cones to that. You look at agility, You
- 7:50Speaker 2: look at hands. That one kid who is there's a
- 7:52Speaker 2: drill I forget what it's called. Where you catch a ball,
- 7:54Speaker 2: drop it, ketch a ball. He caught the first ball,
- 7:56Speaker 2: kept running with it, caught all the.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Rest with one hand. That's a flat Harry tight end.
- 8:02Speaker 6: I tell clip of it like that.
- 8:03Speaker 2: But stuff like that that makes you look at him
- 8:05Speaker 2: and you're like, oh, maybe we should spend more time.
- 8:06Speaker 3: But but if the if the coach is like, hey,
- 8:09Speaker 3: that's not the drill, that's not the drill. Followed directions,
- 8:13Speaker 3: you get points of docs. The drill is to catch
- 8:17Speaker 3: the balls, and he did, but drop it and then
- 8:19Speaker 3: catch the other one.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Need to drop it?
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, too crazy? It was awesome.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Yeah that one next time?
- 8:23Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:24Speaker 6: A lot of talk about which conference is the best
- 8:25Speaker 6: this year? Taking your bias out? Do you think it's
- 8:28Speaker 6: a Big twelve or SEC in basketball?
- 8:31Speaker 2: I can't take my bias out. I should I should
- 8:33Speaker 2: restate that I've watched way more SEC basketball than anything else.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I'm watching Mississippi State, I'm watching Texas A and M.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I'm watching l s U. I'm watching all these teams
- 8:44Speaker 2: when they're not even playing Arkansas because I want to
- 8:48Speaker 2: see how good they are when we do our Calcutta.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I want to see if Arkansas playing them coming up.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Big twelve has four ranked teams by US had a
- 8:58Speaker 2: pretty good year to Texas. Texas a pretty good team
- 9:02Speaker 2: that's not ranked, I don't think right now, and they've
- 9:04Speaker 2: been in and out scs six ranked schools. I think
- 9:06Speaker 2: the SEC is better this year, but I'm gonna say
- 9:08Speaker 2: that if it's close, I'm not. I can't remove a bias,
- 9:11Speaker 2: but I think it's close. I'm gonna go the SEC
- 9:14Speaker 2: is better than the Big twelve.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Though, because Alabama looks Kentucky's coming on really strong. Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 3: like I think they could.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I say that, but they have lost early the last
- 9:24Speaker 2: two years and it's been ugly. But I think Kentucky
- 9:26Speaker 2: looks really good. That freshman kid that comes off the bench,
- 9:30Speaker 2: the white.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Kid who's fifteen I think or something.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, the crowd goes crazy. He comes off the bench
- 9:35Speaker 2: just just kills Uh. There are a bunch They have
- 9:37Speaker 2: a bunch of freshman over there. But Kaal has underperformed
- 9:41Speaker 2: every NCAA tournament the last three four times.
- 9:45Speaker 6: He's relevant in the tournament since, like Anthony Davis time.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go SEC. But there is bias, so
- 9:52Speaker 2: I can't say there's not okay, but unbiasedly SEC bias excellent.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Last one here after setting the Division one all time
- 9:58Speaker 6: scoring record, is Caitlyn Clark the the best female basketball
- 10:01Speaker 6: player you've ever seen in college.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I think it's the one I've seen the most. I've
- 10:04Speaker 2: actually turned on a game to see her. I've never
- 10:08Speaker 2: chased a game to watch a player w NBA or college.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest, I haven't watched a lot of
- 10:14Speaker 2: women's w NBA or women's college basketball unless Arkansas is playing.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I will watch the Arkansas games, but it's like Cheryl Miller,
- 10:25Speaker 2: like that's old, old, old school, and I just know
- 10:26Speaker 2: YouTube clips from Reggie Miller's sister, right, like probably seen
- 10:32Speaker 2: more YouTube clips.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Of her.
- 10:35Speaker 6: Maya Ia more.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Probably her clips are mostly once she quit basketball to
- 10:39Speaker 2: go into the justice system. I watched a lot of
- 10:43Speaker 2: Rebecca Lobo back in the day in a lot two games.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but like Travis Scott went to the game once
- 10:51Speaker 3: she broke the record. Yeah, so it's a it's a
- 10:55Speaker 3: bigger cultural thing that I've ever seen women's basketball because
- 10:57Speaker 3: she's setting records that have never been broken, and she
- 11:00Speaker 3: also shoots from places that people don't normally shoot from,
- 11:02Speaker 3: even in dude basketball. Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Usually like the players female wise throughout the history have
- 11:08Speaker 6: been big player right, like the Cannas Park, like tall
- 11:11Speaker 6: big men, big woman. I guess you could say, you
- 11:12Speaker 6: know what I'm saying, instead of shooters and like point
- 11:14Speaker 6: guard like not JJ Reddick or Caitlyn Clark.
- 11:17Speaker 2: It's been awesome because I've probably tuned in finger quotes
- 11:23Speaker 2: four or five times if I know they're playing, like
- 11:25Speaker 2: let me just watch, and sometimes if you like, you'll
- 11:28Speaker 2: turn on a Warriors game and stuff won't shoot that much,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and you're like, oh, I've never turned a game where she.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Wasn't just she's she carries the whole team.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And I think, you know, she could have stayed in
- 11:36Speaker 2: college another year and probably made more money or a
- 11:39Speaker 2: ton of money obviously in Io. But Indiana has the
- 11:42Speaker 2: first pick in the WNBA draft and that's probably why
- 11:45Speaker 2: she's gonna go out this year, so she can stay
- 11:47Speaker 2: Indiana because she's a full home product.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Yeah, is she from Indiana?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I believe so. I was watching a video of her
- 11:54Speaker 3: as a freshman on YouTube. Just file at people as
- 11:58Speaker 3: a freshman.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Look her up.
- 12:00Speaker 6: They've done a great job of having her play on
- 12:02Speaker 6: Sunday show. I don't even notice that, Like, so she's
- 12:04Speaker 6: not in the spotlight of playing on a Saturday when
- 12:06Speaker 6: all the men are playing so you can watch the game.
- 12:08Speaker 3: That's strategic. I didn't know that.
- 12:09Speaker 6: I figure, I mean, it's got to be right.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Look up where she's from. I'm almost positive she's a
- 12:13Speaker 2: home product. And if not, Indiana's her new home, and
- 12:15Speaker 2: she's the product.
- 12:16Speaker 3: You've made it her new home. That's what I mean.
- 12:19Speaker 6: I went not Indiana, Okay, I wasn't. Okay, gotcha?
- 12:21Speaker 2: And Indiana is the team that has the first pick,
- 12:23Speaker 2: and I think it's close. Yeah, it's like the closest
- 12:25Speaker 2: team she has to home and it sir with a
- 12:27Speaker 2: I true, thanks Kevin, Or maybe I just confuse it too.
- 12:31Speaker 2: That could be the thing too, But I think that's why.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I think she wants to stay somewhere close to home
- 12:36Speaker 2: and play ball. But man, she could. I'm sure she
- 12:37Speaker 2: made a ton of money this year.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yeah, she's in commercials. Man, she's a she is a.
- 12:41Speaker 3: She's a household name. She's famous.
- 12:43Speaker 2: She's the most famous female player ever.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 12:48Speaker 2: She has the point lead overall men and women. I
- 12:51Speaker 2: saw a cool picture of pistol pep passing over the
- 12:52Speaker 2: ground to her.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Not real though, yeah, use he's not.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And I think for the top five our
- 13:02Speaker 2: dudes all time point scoring leaders, I think I don't know.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's it's been pretty cool to watch that.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Really cool.
- 13:09Speaker 2: The fact that I even know anything about women's basketball,
- 13:11Speaker 2: and I don't hate it.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I just have.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It's never been prioritized to me, and it can't. I
- 13:18Speaker 2: haven't gambled a bunch on it and we didn't have
- 13:20Speaker 2: a team good that was home, so I never really
- 13:22Speaker 2: play much ninse to it. Our high schol girls Mountain
- 13:25Speaker 2: High School is pretty good. That who are the top
- 13:28Speaker 2: five scores of all time?
- 13:30Speaker 6: I'm trying, We're trying to find out when it's men
- 13:32Speaker 6: and women.
- 13:32Speaker 3: We'll come back to it.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Twenty five Whistles presented by Draft Kings sports book and
- 13:41Speaker 2: official sports betting partner of the NFL. Download the DraftKings
- 13:45Speaker 2: app used to code Bobby Sports to get in on
- 13:47Speaker 2: the action. That it's so much fun right now with
- 13:50Speaker 2: college basketball, especially as we get closer to the conference
- 13:52Speaker 2: tournaments and the NCAA tournament. It's the best time. It's
- 13:56Speaker 2: the best month for DraftKings.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Speaking of are we going to the SEC Tournament?
- 14:02Speaker 2: I feel like I am.
- 14:04Speaker 3: We as a group with our golden whistles.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I feel like, well, you'd have to smuggle the whistle
- 14:10Speaker 2: in oh, right, because you can't. You can't really walk
- 14:13Speaker 2: in a game of the whistle that I feel like
- 14:15Speaker 2: we probably could. I'm not gonna go unless Arkansas is
- 14:17Speaker 2: playing oh and as of right now, we'll probably play
- 14:20Speaker 2: the Wednesday night and then if we win play thursdayyift.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but we could probably.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Go to that game otherwise because I'm going to pay
- 14:26Speaker 2: for tickets to go watch.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Okay, two teams. I don't give a crop about you know, yeah,
- 14:34Speaker 3: what do you have? You haven't?
- 14:36Speaker 4: All right?
- 14:36Speaker 2: If you want to take twenty by whistles Parlay, which
- 14:38Speaker 2: will give you later on uh in the next episode,
- 14:40Speaker 2: we'll do whistles Parlay, and I'll tell you what I've
- 14:41Speaker 2: been up to for two and a half months. Finally,
- 14:43Speaker 2: new users used to code Bobby Sports when you download
- 14:45Speaker 2: the app twenty one and up the most eligible states,
- 14:47Speaker 2: but age varies by jurisdiction. Eligibility and positive restrictions apply
- 14:50Speaker 2: a gambling problem called one hundred Gambler in New York
- 14:52Speaker 2: called eight seven seven eight hope and wire text hope
- 14:54Speaker 2: and y four six seven three six nine. All right, now,
- 14:59Speaker 2: let's go over to Auburn Man's basketball head coach and
- 15:01Speaker 2: the legend himself, Bruce Pearl been at auburns is twenty fourteen,
- 15:04Speaker 2: built the program into a contender. He's exactly what you
- 15:07Speaker 2: see on TV.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Dude is awesome. He's awesome.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Here is Bruce Pearl, coach. Thanks for having us today.
- 15:13Speaker 2: We just saw that you're back in the top ten again,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you guys, are it seems like you're always in the
- 15:18Speaker 2: top ten. You know, as someone who's a big SEC fan,
- 15:21Speaker 2: you're always in the top ten. It's almost annoying. How
- 15:23Speaker 2: good you've made this program? Are you upset about that?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Bro the way it's just so consistently good.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Now, I just love that I've pissed you off as well.
- 15:30Speaker 2: No, you listen, what you've done is what every program
- 15:34Speaker 2: wants to have done, right, Like, You've come in with
- 15:37Speaker 2: a lot of energy, and you make the fans care,
- 15:40Speaker 2: and then you've been good consistently. So what do you
- 15:43Speaker 2: do consistently here that actually attracts that?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Such a great question. It has just a little bit
- 15:48Speaker 1: to do with me, but not a lot. Honestly, it
- 15:50Speaker 1: has to do with us my staff. I've had great
- 15:53Speaker 1: continuity in my staff. My guys have been together for
- 15:55Speaker 1: a long long time. That matters, you know. I always say,
- 15:59Speaker 1: judge me, judge you by the people I have around myself,
- 16:01Speaker 1: judging by my wife, she's an amazing woman. Judging my staff,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know, and the guys, their teachers, their dads are
- 16:08Speaker 1: really good coaches are not just cool recruiters. And then
- 16:12Speaker 1: I think if you look at Dylan Cardwell, four your guy,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Jilen Williams five year guy, Chris Moore from Arkansas is
- 16:19Speaker 1: four your guy. We've had some continuity, I think. And
- 16:24Speaker 1: then if you walk down in locker room, there's an
- 16:27Speaker 1: au right in there, and the first thing you see
- 16:29Speaker 1: is make history. So we talk about making history. Like
- 16:32Speaker 1: right now, I'm gonna talk to the team today. You
- 16:34Speaker 1: guys made history for the whether it's the fifth time
- 16:37Speaker 1: in seven years, of the sixth time in seven years,
- 16:40Speaker 1: we're in the top ten. We were eleven one year
- 16:42Speaker 1: that I like to kind of make like it's ten.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But you're right, Being good is one thing. Being good
- 16:48Speaker 1: with consistency is something completely different.
- 16:50Speaker 2: What do you teach your guys about being detail oriented?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Because I feel like inconsistency, like details are such a
- 16:55Speaker 2: big part of overall macro big picture success.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Once you guys sit in today, stick around and sit
- 17:01Speaker 1: in our film session, because the study of film and
- 17:05Speaker 1: the breakdown of each team. Number One, you got to
- 17:07Speaker 1: respect your opponent so that you're willing to study them
- 17:09Speaker 1: and understand them and know what their tendencies are. And
- 17:12Speaker 1: then and then in a scout, when we are able
- 17:15Speaker 1: to take away what a player likes to do. It
- 17:17Speaker 1: just it gets in that player's head. And then when
- 17:20Speaker 1: your player says, look, he wants to do this and
- 17:22Speaker 1: he doesn't like that, and you're right, then all of
- 17:24Speaker 1: a sudden, your kids, you know, have confidence in you,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and it helps when you're winning, because then when you're winning,
- 17:30Speaker 1: it fixes everything else, and the kids believe in themselves
- 17:33Speaker 1: and each other and what you're doing. Details do matter.
- 17:36Speaker 2: You've got a lot of guys that have been here
- 17:37Speaker 2: a long time. Considering the landscape of college basketball now
- 17:40Speaker 2: when you're looking for your recruits or even portal young
- 17:44Speaker 2: portal guys, is that important to you to get guys
- 17:46Speaker 2: who want to be here for a couple of few
- 17:47Speaker 2: years because everybody can't be like Jabari wise.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another great question. Here's the other thing, because
- 17:52Speaker 1: it reminds me of something I didn't give credit to,
- 17:54Speaker 1: and that's Auburn. Okay, you're you're from Arkansas, right you?
- 17:57Speaker 1: You you you? You? You called called out the hogs
- 18:00Speaker 1: of time.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Or two time or time.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, you care about it. It
- 18:06Speaker 1: matters to you. You own it, you wear it, and
- 18:09Speaker 1: you're not afraid. You're not embarrassed by it. In fact,
- 18:11Speaker 1: you embrace it. Auburn has that same way about it,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you know. I just wish there were more players in
- 18:17Speaker 1: places in this country that were like Auburn, like like
- 18:20Speaker 1: we love our country, like we love our God, like
- 18:24Speaker 1: we love our neighbor. Like you want to be an
- 18:26Speaker 1: Auburn man, an Auburn woman, then come here, get some edumacation,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and get out there and make the rest of this
- 18:31Speaker 1: place a better place by how you live your life,
- 18:35Speaker 1: by how you pray, by by by who you are.
- 18:39Speaker 1: And you know what people are going to be attracted
- 18:41Speaker 1: that I hope. And you know witness. You know witness.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You're a hag. You're out there witnessing.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Not here I've been. I said nothing coach about the
- 18:48Speaker 3: whole time. Only you have.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I know you guys are a little famous. You guys
- 18:52Speaker 1: have congratulations. Man, you guys are having a great run.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But people like to they like Auburn, and so they
- 18:58Speaker 1: don't want to leave Auburn like like like I can
- 19:01Speaker 1: recruit to Auburn and and it makes it makes and
- 19:04Speaker 1: that that makes a difference when it comes to recruiting.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Just be honest with him. If you are honest good,
- 19:10Speaker 1: a better or you learn this from a lot. My
- 19:11Speaker 1: learn this my dad, But I also learns from coach
- 19:13Speaker 1: Summit when she recruited her team. You signed up to
- 19:18Speaker 1: be a lady ball, Okay, you signed up for this
- 19:22Speaker 1: before you came here. You knew who I was and
- 19:25Speaker 1: what I was going to be, you know, And I'm
- 19:27Speaker 1: not gonna apologize for it. And as long as I
- 19:30Speaker 1: think you're honest with kids, because so many kids aren't,
- 19:32Speaker 1: so many people aren't. They lie to them, They tell
- 19:34Speaker 1: them what they want to tell them. You gotta play
- 19:35Speaker 1: thirty five minutes, you're gonna get every shot, and you
- 19:37Speaker 1: tell fourteen guys on your roster, and then you wonder
- 19:40Speaker 1: when the kids don't want to play for you. And
- 19:43Speaker 1: so every now and then Steven says, Dad, could you
- 19:46Speaker 1: please just be a little bit more. He doesn't think
- 19:49Speaker 1: you want him, he doesn't think you're interested. I said, Steven,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I gotta coach him. I gotta tell him enough to
- 19:53Speaker 1: get him to want to come, but I gotta be
- 19:54Speaker 1: honest with him.
- 19:57Speaker 3: So don't lie.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I think, no, Okay, I think all that lie. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: I just think. Look look, I mean, gosh, look at
- 20:05Speaker 1: our political landscape.
- 20:06Speaker 4: You gotta.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You gotta lie to win, You gotta you gotta overemphasize,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you gotta do Oh my god, you know, I think,
- 20:12Speaker 1: I think, I think the truth will serve you well.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And I know I got fired for a lion to
- 20:16Speaker 1: the NC double I how'd that work out? We want
- 20:18Speaker 1: going to bring that out, coach, I got fired for
- 20:20Speaker 1: a lion. You talk about not being a very good
- 20:23Speaker 1: role model. You talk about letting my family down, You
- 20:25Speaker 1: talk about letting my coaches down. I mean, I was
- 20:27Speaker 1: did it trying to protect my team. But if I
- 20:30Speaker 1: had just told the truth the first time having some
- 20:33Speaker 1: kids over the house for a barbecue, really and I
- 20:36Speaker 1: and I didn't.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So in a perfect world, how many guys in your rotation?
- 20:40Speaker 4: Seven?
- 20:42Speaker 1: No, No, honestly no, I'd say I'd say perfect nine, ten,
- 20:46Speaker 1: You know what, whatever, whatever's work, I've always played. Now
- 20:49Speaker 1: go back and study the notes and Marlene can help.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Man.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I've always played ten guys double digit minutes because I
- 20:54Speaker 1: because that locker room I've got. I've had eleven or
- 20:57Speaker 1: twelve guys on scholarship because I can't. You can't I
- 21:00Speaker 1: keep thirteen happy, let alone. And we've always had a
- 21:03Speaker 1: walk on on scholarship for that very reason. But there
- 21:06Speaker 1: is a perfect number. I don't know what it is
- 21:08Speaker 1: because you don't believe. Not right now. What I'm what
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm fighting even right now as we sit number eight
- 21:12Speaker 1: in the country, is the guys that are average twelve
- 21:14Speaker 1: would rather be averaging eighteen? The question is would you
- 21:17Speaker 1: rather be averaging eighteen and not winning and being somewhere else?
- 21:20Speaker 1: That's the question you got to decide sometimes for their
- 21:23Speaker 1: families who should only really want and care about them
- 21:26Speaker 1: and love them. Yeah, they may think that that eighteen
- 21:29Speaker 1: is better, but sometimes twelve in a winning situation can
- 21:33Speaker 1: be better. And that's I just think that's a great
- 21:34Speaker 1: lesson in life. I can't do what I do without
- 21:37Speaker 1: my without my coaches and my team, so and so forth.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I think it's true in life. And so those guys
- 21:42Speaker 1: want to take a little less, take a little less,
- 21:45Speaker 1: and everybody have a little bit more, and I think
- 21:46Speaker 1: we're better off. Not that I'm a socialist, I'm a capitalist.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Now I am a capitalist. I don't want to get
- 21:50Speaker 1: that and clarify that because it's clarify.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You still want to win, Yeah, because they still want
- 21:54Speaker 3: to win. Yeah, you have been like we're having a
- 21:56Speaker 3: good time.
- 21:57Speaker 1: If socialism one, i'd be all far.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, man, I agree.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I think put me on a kid butts and let
- 22:04Speaker 1: me stay there forever. But it doesn't work.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Coach, I'm a little bit like you. I'm also a coach.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I coach my ten year old son basketball.
- 22:12Speaker 1: There you go. You know what coaching is like. It's
- 22:15Speaker 1: like we are barbecuing, Like we all know how to
- 22:18Speaker 1: grill a little bit. We all got skills on the grill.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And everybody's got an opinion about barbecue. Like I don't
- 22:23Speaker 1: know shit about making Chinese food, okay, but I know
- 22:25Speaker 1: what I like. But I can. I can barbecue. Are
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm talking? I go with all right? And it's like coaching.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Everybody that's coached a little bit, you know a little
- 22:32Speaker 1: bit of what I do a little bit you don't know.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Well, good coach, hear me out. Hear me out. One
- 22:39Speaker 3: of my biggest obstacles as a ten year old basketball
- 22:42Speaker 3: coach is dealing with the parents. Yeah, like, just let
- 22:44Speaker 3: me coach, let me do Okay. At the college level,
- 22:47Speaker 3: are you dealing with this?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yes, But here's my advice, and this is hope it
- 22:50Speaker 1: will help you. They love their kids. They love their kids,
- 22:53Speaker 1: and that's their job. You've got to still let the parents,
- 22:56Speaker 1: you know, the kids have got to call them, call
- 22:58Speaker 1: home to somebody, go. This man's crazy, he's sortifiable. Can
- 23:03Speaker 1: you believe the things on it? And so they got
- 23:05Speaker 1: to listen to them. But what the parents got understand
- 23:07Speaker 1: is you can't fix it. You can't fix it. What
- 23:11Speaker 1: bothers me about our society right now. I don't mind
- 23:14Speaker 1: the transfer portal. I transferred places. You guys have transferred
- 23:17Speaker 1: to life. It's great, but it's got to be hard
- 23:20Speaker 1: to transfer. I can remember one time getting the Middle
- 23:23Speaker 1: Tennessee state job offered to me after three of the
- 23:25Speaker 1: Southern Indiana I get asked a questions by the faculty
- 23:27Speaker 1: at Middle Tennessee. Tell me about your glocker room and
- 23:30Speaker 1: your conversation with your players when you go back and
- 23:32Speaker 1: tell them you've left Southern Indiana for Middle Tennessee. I've
- 23:34Speaker 1: never told this story publicly. I started to cry in
- 23:37Speaker 1: the interview. I started to think about how I was
- 23:40Speaker 1: going to go back and tell my team I was
- 23:42Speaker 1: leaving for Middle Tennessee. I wasn't ready to leave. I
- 23:44Speaker 1: stayed for six more years. God had a plan. Leaving's okay.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But if it's so easy to leave, everybody's going to flee.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Don't fight. Every unhappy marriage is going to end. For parents,
- 23:56Speaker 1: if your kid is eight years old and he's not
- 23:58Speaker 1: picturing or batting four, tell them to throw strikes and
- 24:02Speaker 1: stop swinging the high ones. Just it's okay for them
- 24:06Speaker 1: to fail a little bit. So when it comes to
- 24:08Speaker 1: the parents, don't take it personal. I don't let them
- 24:11Speaker 1: love their kids. If they get to the point where
- 24:13Speaker 1: they try to fix it and say, fine, we're just
- 24:15Speaker 1: gonna go to a different team, we're gonna move someplace else,
- 24:18Speaker 1: then sometimes they are. They are hurting the kids, you know.
- 24:21Speaker 1: But I tell But what I tell my players are
- 24:23Speaker 1: listen to your parents. Be respectful for them. But we
- 24:26Speaker 1: know what's going on in this locker room right here.
- 24:28Speaker 1: They don't and they can't expect to. So when you
- 24:31Speaker 1: got a good parent, love on them, hug on them,
- 24:34Speaker 1: because there are so many that just they do. They
- 24:36Speaker 1: they don't realize that they're getting they're getting in the
- 24:39Speaker 1: way because all they do is love their kids.
- 24:41Speaker 2: When you watch a game, let's say it's not basketball,
- 24:43Speaker 2: so you're watching football or baseball and you're like, what
- 24:45Speaker 2: a stupid pitch?
- 24:47Speaker 3: Do you still do that?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Even though people do that to you and you're like,
- 24:49Speaker 2: they're idiots because you know they're like, why doesn't he
- 24:52Speaker 2: give the ball to him? And you're like, well, I
- 24:53Speaker 2: know more about the team than you do. But then
- 24:54Speaker 2: do you do that to other sports?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I don't. I don't probably because I do what I do,
- 24:59Speaker 1: and look, I tell my guys, look, I'm gonna I'm
- 25:03Speaker 1: gonna make some good decisions. Uh Joby Hall actually said
- 25:06Speaker 1: this one time. He said, their coach's job is not
- 25:08Speaker 1: to make every red decision, but it is the player's
- 25:10Speaker 1: job to make those decisions work. You're not gonna make
- 25:14Speaker 1: every decision kind of if you're running this thing or whatever,
- 25:16Speaker 1: you're gonna take some u but you've got some decisions
- 25:18Speaker 1: to make. Many of them have worked out. Not everyone will,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but these guys gotta make that decision work. And so
- 25:23Speaker 1: that's what I asked happening on with the team. I could
- 25:24Speaker 1: call time out and I'll get some input, and then
- 25:27Speaker 1: the very best of my ability, we're gonna, we're gonna,
- 25:29Speaker 1: we're gonna try to make this bad call work. So
- 25:32Speaker 1: now I I'm not that quick to to call somebody
- 25:36Speaker 1: out withut this way, I'll see it, but I won't
- 25:39Speaker 1: say it.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Coach Charles Barklay is very open about love and Auburn
- 25:43Speaker 3: and supporting Auburn. How often do you hear from him?
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'd say once a month or so, uh, or anytime
- 25:49Speaker 1: I need him. Anytime I need him, he is always there.
- 25:52Speaker 1: He was there for me at the beginning when we
- 25:54Speaker 1: first got this thing going. Charles has said great things
- 25:56Speaker 1: about our program and us, and I just try to
- 25:59Speaker 1: go to work every day rewarding him for, you know,
- 26:03Speaker 1: the support he's he's given me in this opportunity. I mean,
- 26:06Speaker 1: look at look at the chance I had after I
- 26:09Speaker 1: failed at Tennessee. And even though we had great success,
- 26:13Speaker 1: Auburn gives me a chance. Jay Jacobs offers me this
- 26:15Speaker 1: job a year before my show causes over and and
- 26:18Speaker 1: and it's because Mike Hamilton, who he just lost to cancer.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Even though Mike had Mike was pressured to fire me
- 26:25Speaker 1: at Tennessee. And Tennessee should not have fired me, uh,
- 26:28Speaker 1: because the mistakes I made were mistakes, but we could
- 26:30Speaker 1: have lived through them. It was part of what got
- 26:34Speaker 1: Mike too. At the end, Mike called Ja Jacobs. I'm
- 26:36Speaker 1: telling you right now, I'd hire him again. And if
- 26:38Speaker 1: I were you, I'd hire him And that's part of
- 26:40Speaker 1: the reason why I got hit Auburn.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Do you dream about scheming basketball scheming? Like, does anything
- 26:46Speaker 2: ever come to you? And like, I'll get funny joke
- 26:47Speaker 2: ideas while I'm sleeping and most are terrible, But you
- 26:49Speaker 2: ever get those?
- 26:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah all the time.
- 26:53Speaker 2: You have to wake up and like right because I
- 26:54Speaker 2: have to wake up or record it into my phone immediately.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because just going to give me sixty three years,
- 26:58Speaker 1: you'll have the dream, then you'll forget at it. Right ever,
- 27:01Speaker 1: and some of my nightmares I want to forget about it,
- 27:03Speaker 1: but I do. I do. I especially especially like even
- 27:07Speaker 1: the night before a game or things like that. It'll
- 27:09Speaker 1: because I spend so much time going to bed I'm
- 27:11Speaker 1: thinking about it.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 1: So it does.
- 27:13Speaker 2: With a kid like Jabari Smith when he comes and
- 27:15Speaker 2: he's so highly talented and everybody knows he's gonna be
- 27:17Speaker 2: selected one or two or three overall, do you have
- 27:19Speaker 2: fast track someone like that because you know you're only
- 27:21Speaker 2: getting a year with them as compared to other freshmen
- 27:24Speaker 2: they're coming in, they're going to play.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I think my job is to put the kids in
- 27:27Speaker 1: positions to be successful. That's what my job is. And
- 27:30Speaker 1: the more we can identify what they're good at, identify
- 27:32Speaker 1: what they're not good at, get them to go to
- 27:34Speaker 1: their strengths and stay away from the weaknesses, the better
- 27:36Speaker 1: they'll look and the better that will look. So the
- 27:38Speaker 1: thing with Jabari was the word was motor, wouldn't run.
- 27:43Speaker 1: All he was was a jump shooter, didn't affect the game,
- 27:46Speaker 1: winning in certain ways. So on and so forth. So Jabari
- 27:49Speaker 1: plays twenty eight minutes, not thirty two. He's out there
- 27:52Speaker 1: playing hard. He's a shot blocker. Right, he can impact
- 27:54Speaker 1: the game at the rim. He can't drive right, So
- 27:57Speaker 1: let him go left and if he could see it,
- 28:01Speaker 1: he could make it. And it didn't matter where. And
- 28:03Speaker 1: he was not afraid of the moment. As a he
- 28:06Speaker 1: didn't grow up in the main streets of Atlanta. He
- 28:08Speaker 1: had a wonderful family and so therefore they're going to
- 28:12Speaker 1: say soft because he didn't grow up tough. A guy
- 28:15Speaker 1: like Katie Johnson in our locker room, who grew up tough,
- 28:18Speaker 1: helped Jabari embrace the physicality of the game. Jabari's nobody
- 28:23Speaker 1: he wasn't, but because he's physically built the way he's built,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and so I don't think we fast tracked him because
- 28:31Speaker 1: at the same time he was on the team with
- 28:32Speaker 1: Walker Kessler, who we didn't fast track. But Walker's playing
- 28:36Speaker 1: eight nine, ten minutes a game in North Carolina. Didn't
- 28:38Speaker 1: have the opportunity because he's playing, not because Roy Williams
- 28:41Speaker 1: won a great coach, but Babcock was still there, and
- 28:43Speaker 1: a couple of the guys in the NBA were still there.
- 28:45Speaker 1: They just had too many bodies for Walker. And then
- 28:48Speaker 1: Walker comes here and in one year he goes from
- 28:50Speaker 1: tennuts a game in North Carolina to the National Defensive
- 28:53Speaker 1: Player of the Year, First Team All American. And what
- 28:57Speaker 1: do we do? We put Walker in position to be
- 28:59Speaker 1: successful the rim at the game, at the rim offensively,
- 29:02Speaker 1: gave him some confidence that he needed and let him
- 29:05Speaker 1: go block everything he gets, put his hands.
- 29:07Speaker 4: On mid range.
- 29:08Speaker 2: How do you feel about mid range shots in general?
- 29:10Speaker 1: What do you tell your guys, Let let the team
- 29:12Speaker 1: take contested the opponent take contested mid range shots.
- 29:14Speaker 3: What about what about you guys shooting him?
- 29:16Speaker 5: Would you take many?
- 29:17Speaker 4: We don't.
- 29:18Speaker 1: We don't take many. Sometimes you have to but but
- 29:21Speaker 1: I'd rather take open shots. I'd rather take threes inside
- 29:25Speaker 1: and out.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Final three questions, Eddie, Yeah, coach, there aren't a lot
- 29:29Speaker 2: of coaches that I can hear on TV, but I
- 29:32Speaker 2: hear you and.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Like, how's how's the voice? Like do you ever think
- 29:36Speaker 1: of it?
- 29:36Speaker 3: Man? We got to come up a different way, like
- 29:38Speaker 3: pound on the floor, maybe.
- 29:40Speaker 1: A horn or something, not a whistle or that hurts
- 29:41Speaker 1: too whistling. I wish I could whistle. Uh no, I wish,
- 29:45Speaker 1: I wish. There are some things you couldn't hear. I
- 29:47Speaker 1: used to be a singer. I can't sing anymore. Obviously
- 29:50Speaker 1: this thing is depleted. Yeah, I'm a yeller. I'm a screamer.
- 29:55Speaker 3: We hear him. How quickly did that go? Because your
- 29:59Speaker 3: because your son was just still yelling. Well, no, you know,
- 30:01Speaker 3: but he didn't have a voice anymore.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Three times, like five minutes.
- 30:04Speaker 3: But we talked to your son earlier. He still has
- 30:06Speaker 3: his voice. Yeah, you know, but I'm sure eventually that
- 30:08Speaker 3: will go.
- 30:08Speaker 1: To here's the deal. I'm i'm i'm I'm like this
- 30:12Speaker 1: in practice when you step on the court. This is
- 30:14Speaker 1: how I'm like. I'm like this for a Division two
- 30:16Speaker 1: exhibition game, I'm like this at REP, and so the
- 30:19Speaker 1: guys don't necessarily coach be peaceful uptight today I'm uptight
- 30:23Speaker 1: all the time, and so they don't see me being
- 30:26Speaker 1: different and therefore hopefully that they won't be different. I
- 30:29Speaker 1: also tell my guys play defensively, like I coach, be
- 30:34Speaker 1: nothing like me offensively, where you need to have some
- 30:37Speaker 1: tempo and some poise and some talent. I have none
- 30:40Speaker 1: of those things.
- 30:41Speaker 3: How many guys on your team have and don't don't have?
- 30:43Speaker 2: Any names?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Have green light all the time?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Oh just a couple, Yeah, just a couple.
- 30:48Speaker 3: You tell them that? Or does everybody know that when
- 30:50Speaker 3: someone has.
- 30:50Speaker 1: The green light? Well, I mean, look, I want them
- 30:53Speaker 1: all to be able to shoot open shots. But but
- 30:55Speaker 1: but like I don't decide who shoots. The analytics do. Like,
- 30:59Speaker 1: if if you're shooting a certain percentage, then you should
- 31:02Speaker 1: try to shoot more. If you're shooting a certain percentage,
- 31:06Speaker 1: then you might want to think about putting that away
- 31:08Speaker 1: this year and bringing it back the following year, because
- 31:11Speaker 1: you just don't have that in your bag right now.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Everybody thinks, the coaches, why don't you let my son shoot?
- 31:15Speaker 1: He's shooting twenty percent? I think he should think about
- 31:18Speaker 1: not shooting.
- 31:18Speaker 2: It's not me what about And again, no names, but
- 31:21Speaker 2: are there refs that you're like, I have to work
- 31:24Speaker 2: with this person again, because I mean, there are people
- 31:26Speaker 2: like that for us in all of our industry and
- 31:28Speaker 2: it shouldn't the nature.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, no names.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's got to be like that. Human dynamic's
- 31:33Speaker 2: got to be a part of.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It too, right it is. Yeah, you know, you've got
- 31:36Speaker 1: history with some of the guys. And I try and
- 31:39Speaker 1: go get to the next play. I do, I try to.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I could be I won't remember whether that guy gave
- 31:44Speaker 1: me a technical foul or whatever, and so I try
- 31:48Speaker 1: to get to the next play. But like you said,
- 31:49Speaker 1: it is human nature. And you walk out there and
- 31:51Speaker 1: some guys you have confidence that this is how the
- 31:53Speaker 1: game's going to get called. And then sometimes you just
- 31:55Speaker 1: you know, you worry about it. But I were also
- 31:58Speaker 1: worried about what I control, and I can't control that,
- 32:00Speaker 1: so I try not to worry about it.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Coach, we appreciate the time, congrats, thank you. I just
- 32:03Speaker 2: consistency is the hardest thing to accomplish period in my life.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Of you know, whatever correct been in, Consistency is the
- 32:08Speaker 3: most cherished the most precious thing, and you you know
- 32:11Speaker 3: you have it here, So congratulations on that.
- 32:13Speaker 1: It's easier in life to get something going. It's easy
- 32:16Speaker 1: to get it started than it is to keep it going.
- 32:18Speaker 1: That's the great, great challenge, and and that's why I'm
- 32:21Speaker 1: so grateful to Auburn for the opportunity. And you know
- 32:25Speaker 1: we're not done. Uh you know we we right now
- 32:29Speaker 1: as we said, okay, we're not as good as what
- 32:31Speaker 1: people think we are right now.
- 32:32Speaker 4: We're not.
- 32:33Speaker 1: We've got some really tough games ahead of us, but
- 32:35Speaker 1: we are a lot better than what people thought we
- 32:37Speaker 1: were being. If you do leave here, and the reason
- 32:38Speaker 1: why you came here asked, because this has been a
- 32:40Speaker 1: program that has been consistently one of the best in
- 32:43Speaker 1: the SEC, then I've done my job. That makes me
- 32:45Speaker 1: really proud. Thank you, great, Thanks any.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Here's one of the top players in the SECG and
- 32:50Speaker 2: I Broom. He leads team in points and rebounds and blocks.
- 32:53Speaker 2: And we did alo oups go check out too much
- 32:54Speaker 2: access with us, but this is the interview. Such a
- 32:57Speaker 2: cool dude. I mean he's like legit elite, I mean
- 33:00Speaker 2: he is NBA, he's their dude. Yeah, and here he
- 33:03Speaker 2: is jan I broom. I've wanted you to dominate a
- 33:05Speaker 2: few games this year. It's got to feel good to
- 33:08Speaker 2: just like know in life what you're good at. How
- 33:10Speaker 2: long have you been so good at this that people
- 33:11Speaker 2: are like, that's our dude.
- 33:14Speaker 4: I'd probably say a couple of years. You know. I
- 33:16Speaker 4: was kind of under.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Underlook, Yeah, were you late bloomer?
- 33:20Speaker 7: Yeah, kind of something like that. You know, high school
- 33:22Speaker 7: only had like four offers out of high school. You know,
- 33:24Speaker 7: I went to more Head State. It's back a man major,
- 33:28Speaker 7: smaller school. But then all I got there did pretty good.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you won every award we know, I saw everything
- 33:35Speaker 5: we don't know.
- 33:35Speaker 7: Yeah, when I started, you know, getting a little bit
- 33:37Speaker 7: of you know, people, I just thought I was good.
- 33:39Speaker 5: You know when did when did the biggest growth spurt
- 33:42Speaker 5: happen for you? What age?
- 33:44Speaker 7: Let me see, like fourteen, I was like ninth grade.
- 33:49Speaker 7: I was like five ten, the small scarny dude to
- 33:52Speaker 7: stay in the corner shoot threes. And then I had
- 33:55Speaker 7: like five ten, like six five in that summer, so
- 33:59Speaker 7: I kind of like this linky dude. And then I
- 34:01Speaker 7: like like three more inches and within the year again,
- 34:05Speaker 7: so like a year I do like ten inches. So
- 34:07Speaker 7: it's kind of just like a big change, you know
- 34:09Speaker 7: what I'm saying.
- 34:10Speaker 3: We're still waiting on that. Yeah, I'm still people only
- 34:12Speaker 3: pay attention to me. Still, I got a more head, say,
- 34:14Speaker 3: I guess I get so nutrition here because you run
- 34:20Speaker 3: a lot, and I assume it'd be kind of hard
- 34:21Speaker 3: to keep waiting, especially if you're a guy that's and
- 34:24Speaker 3: you move around a lot too, Like do you need
- 34:26Speaker 3: to stay at a calorie count?
- 34:27Speaker 5: Like do you have to pursue that or does it
- 34:29Speaker 5: just come pretty naturally?
- 34:30Speaker 7: Well, you know, shout out coach D and our nutrition
- 34:33Speaker 7: is Emily Daniels. You know, they do a very good
- 34:36Speaker 7: job with what we do off the court wise, you know,
- 34:39Speaker 7: d shrink condition to coach he uh, he makes sure
- 34:43Speaker 7: that we're taking the right things and we're doing the
- 34:46Speaker 7: right things in the weight room to keep wait on
- 34:48Speaker 7: you know, he don't kill our body. And then Emily
- 34:50Speaker 7: once you get done, you know, she has movies for you.
- 34:53Speaker 7: She makes sure you have hydration. We do like hydration
- 34:56Speaker 7: tests every week, you know, just make sure we're ta
- 34:59Speaker 7: taking care of our So.
- 35:00Speaker 5: I did the in the bathroom.
- 35:01Speaker 3: In the locker room, there's the hydration chart of all
- 35:03Speaker 3: the colors and the dark ones bad. I was like
- 35:06Speaker 3: black your kids.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I think inside just kind of fry.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Man.
- 35:13Speaker 3: So what's the transition like going from high school to
- 35:17Speaker 3: college and then becoming a celebrity, Like, I mean, you're on.
- 35:20Speaker 5: National television select for sure.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Like you're a celebrity.
- 35:23Speaker 3: And what's that like when it hits you?
- 35:25Speaker 7: Uh, you know, it feels good. You know, people like
- 35:30Speaker 7: know who you are, you know your name, like you said,
- 35:32Speaker 7: high school not really getting no attention like that, and
- 35:36Speaker 7: then you know, college at first, you know, more his state.
- 35:39Speaker 7: It wasn't really like a little bit but not a lot.
- 35:43Speaker 7: You know, do you get Here album? Femily Loves You?
- 35:45Speaker 7: You know, you're paying off television every day. You know,
- 35:48Speaker 7: you walk outside and people want to take picture, but.
- 35:50Speaker 5: You know, it kind of feels it's on campus people
- 35:52Speaker 5: just pictures.
- 35:54Speaker 7: Uh, or like you know, go back home and like
- 35:56Speaker 7: people like I watch you on TV. You know that's
- 35:58Speaker 7: just kind of like kind of nice of like uh,
- 36:01Speaker 7: reality reality check.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You know.
- 36:03Speaker 5: When I started to have a little bit of success,
- 36:04Speaker 5: I started have all these cousins. I didn't even be like.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I'm your cousin.
- 36:10Speaker 2: That happened with you now, but people like you hey
- 36:12Speaker 2: third cousins, uh, or.
- 36:15Speaker 5: People saying they were better friends with you back in
- 36:17Speaker 5: high school.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Yeah, think we're closer than what we really were.
- 36:21Speaker 1: You know.
- 36:22Speaker 7: Kind of I wanted to, like, he give some tickets
- 36:25Speaker 7: to the game. You know, we went way back, and
- 36:27Speaker 7: they were kind of like I just came back there,
- 36:29Speaker 7: you know, But that's that's life, you know.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Could you don't?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Of course, that's cool.
- 36:35Speaker 4: I heard you con don't too.
- 36:37Speaker 3: I dunk one time a long time ago.
- 36:39Speaker 2: We didn't you missed.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Some guy was like, you know, I forgot.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Missed.
- 36:45Speaker 5: How old were your first time you dunk in the game?
- 36:49Speaker 5: And do you remember your first?
- 36:51Speaker 7: Yes, first ever dump was that Lakeland High School. I
- 36:55Speaker 7: was just trying for That's when I first in my Ghostburt,
- 36:58Speaker 7: So you know, when I was top, never try to
- 37:00Speaker 7: dunk because it's like I can't jump off on athletic.
- 37:02Speaker 7: And then when I grew to be six eight, I
- 37:05Speaker 7: still could have with the dunk at first, but I
- 37:07Speaker 7: was like trying because like this one, the technique of
- 37:10Speaker 7: it and stuff. I finally got one, but then my
- 37:12Speaker 7: first dunken game, it's probably my uh sophomore year. Once
- 37:17Speaker 7: I hit the gros spurt, I got like a fast break.
- 37:19Speaker 7: I just called it, went off to one foot and
- 37:21Speaker 7: just dump like dropped it day Hunger in the room
- 37:23Speaker 7: a little.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Bit where you were you were going to make it.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Of course, you know.
- 37:26Speaker 7: But you know once you get in the game that
- 37:28Speaker 7: the drilling it comes in. It's like I gotta make
- 37:29Speaker 7: I gotta make it.
- 37:30Speaker 5: So then you know you ever missed a breakaway easy
- 37:32Speaker 5: breakaway in a game?
- 37:33Speaker 4: No?
- 37:33Speaker 3: Of course, no, no, no, you.
- 37:36Speaker 5: Ever done you ever done a reverse in a game?
- 37:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 37:38Speaker 2: I does coach have any rules about if you do
- 37:41Speaker 2: if you're wide open on a breakaway, Like is it
- 37:43Speaker 2: like just dunk at one hand to hand?
- 37:44Speaker 3: What if you're like.
- 37:45Speaker 7: It's one It's one of those ringing rules, you know,
- 37:48Speaker 7: Uh do it dunk that?
- 37:52Speaker 4: You think it's a flashiest.
- 37:54Speaker 5: But you're going to make for sure high percenters, don't.
- 37:56Speaker 7: You know, especially it's game is kind of closer, you know,
- 37:59Speaker 7: but uh.
- 38:01Speaker 5: You see Anthony Edward still that ball off the back board? Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 5: could you do? Would you try that in a game?
- 38:06Speaker 7: I would try it in the game. You know my
- 38:08Speaker 7: teammate did it last or two years ago. He throws
- 38:10Speaker 7: the backboard and when it but it's a video of that,
- 38:12Speaker 7: But uh, I don't got that much bounce, but I
- 38:15Speaker 7: feel like I can get dugget.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Do you ever have like something happens, like you make
- 38:20Speaker 2: a great pass or you get a good shot, good
- 38:22Speaker 2: donk and you're like, man, I gotta get that clip for.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Instagram immediately in your head.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Uh, That's what I would be doing every single time
- 38:28Speaker 3: I would make it. I go back to the bench.
- 38:30Speaker 5: I need that clip.
- 38:31Speaker 7: Not during the game, but like after the game. My
- 38:34Speaker 7: team are talking like you know you did. I'm like, yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 7: that was nice.
- 38:36Speaker 4: That was nice. I get that. So I asked my
- 38:38Speaker 4: man Steven. You know, we get everything. You know.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Steve will talking about you getting clips, sir. What's
- 38:47Speaker 3: coach Parl like?
- 38:48Speaker 7: He's amazing. Uh, that's the best way to describe him.
- 38:51Speaker 7: He's he's a players coach, you know.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Uh.
- 38:55Speaker 7: He cares about us so much, and that means it
- 38:58Speaker 7: makes us play harder for him.
- 39:00Speaker 4: You know.
- 39:01Speaker 7: He yells a lot, you know, but it's a good
- 39:04Speaker 7: thing in a way. Sometimes it could be like, uh,
- 39:07Speaker 7: but you know, do you mean he cares?
- 39:09Speaker 4: You know?
- 39:10Speaker 7: I would say when the coach started talking to you,
- 39:11Speaker 7: I means just mean you should be worried. But you know,
- 39:14Speaker 7: our laship off the court is amazing. On the court
- 39:16Speaker 7: is good, amazing. You know you're able to talk to him,
- 39:20Speaker 7: you know, go to his office. He's always available, you know,
- 39:24Speaker 7: and it's he's fun to play for.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Three final questions your shoe? Your what size shoe are you?
- 39:29Speaker 3: And can you go to the.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Mall and buy shoes?
- 39:30Speaker 3: Ever?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Works hout siventeen? Okay?
- 39:35Speaker 7: I uh, sometimes not really, you know, I like I
- 39:41Speaker 7: walk to the store, Hey, y, I got your fifteens
- 39:43Speaker 7: you No, I just walk out just you.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Just want to generically ask him.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Fifteen? Yeah, that's fair.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I just near everything down. Yeah. Most time it's no.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Pants, what size pants you? Or link like tall?
- 39:56Speaker 4: It's like forty thirty four?
- 39:59Speaker 5: Four thirty too, like forty late like long forty wais
- 40:03Speaker 5: I'm not thirty? No, there's no way you're thirty two
- 40:05Speaker 5: because I'm thirty two.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That'd be up to here.
- 40:07Speaker 5: I'm thirty two, so you're probably a forty and then
- 40:10Speaker 5: thirty two ways.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Or that's probably what it is, like forty thirty four two.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, forty four?
- 40:16Speaker 5: Can you buy pants at them all.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Yes, sometimes, uh, you know he walked in you got forties.
- 40:23Speaker 4: A lot of guys, you know, like have the pop up.
- 40:26Speaker 7: Shops you know for athletes, Like we'll go somewhere and there,
- 40:29Speaker 7: come in the hotel and get like a whole bunch
- 40:31Speaker 7: of stuff doing this bigger clothes.
- 40:33Speaker 4: So uh, that's that's what I do.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So what's this?
- 40:37Speaker 3: I feel like every time there's a foul, you guys
- 40:41Speaker 3: are like what are you talking about? And is that
- 40:43Speaker 3: part of like even.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Though you know you did it, like you have to
- 40:46Speaker 5: do that, you ever feel like you really didn't do it?
- 40:49Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Time, but.
- 40:54Speaker 4: You did it.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 7: Something Sometimes it's like so you shoot the ball and
- 40:58Speaker 7: I like it's like, come on, like that wasn't I
- 41:02Speaker 7: just gotta hit like that down there? You know what
- 41:03Speaker 7: I'm saying, Like, come on, are you calling that? Like
- 41:05Speaker 7: that's what you call? So kind of like if you
- 41:08Speaker 7: foul him a little bit, like if you, like Benley
- 41:10Speaker 7: tap his hand and they called fouls, like really touched him,
- 41:12Speaker 7: like you know what I'm saying.
- 41:13Speaker 4: That's not a foul.
- 41:14Speaker 7: Or if you just like swing your hand down and
- 41:16Speaker 7: you just missed completely, but it looked like you thought them.
- 41:19Speaker 7: They called it fouls like I didn't touch them. Look
- 41:21Speaker 7: at replay, you know.
- 41:22Speaker 5: And they won't look at the replay.
- 41:24Speaker 3: How far do those conversations go though, when you're like
- 41:26Speaker 3: when they're shooting free thills and I see you guys
- 41:28Speaker 3: talking to the ref like, uh, you.
- 41:30Speaker 7: Know, I'm kind of I want to say, I'm kind
- 41:32Speaker 7: of cordial cool with the refs in the league who
- 41:36Speaker 7: have our games, so you know, we kind of kind
- 41:38Speaker 7: of know but the most time, but like, come on,
- 41:40Speaker 7: I didn't fail them, and all right, we got you.
- 41:42Speaker 7: I won't you know what I'm saying, Like it can
- 41:43Speaker 7: be okay, just keep playing, you know.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Whatever, will I want to do this?
- 41:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's what I want to watch it. Let's
- 41:52Speaker 3: watch it. Let's watch final question? What's that?
- 41:54Speaker 2: What's the goal?
- 41:55Speaker 5: I mean, you guys have played really well so far
- 41:57Speaker 5: as year.
- 41:57Speaker 2: The coach said, you haven't even got close to your
- 41:59Speaker 2: potential yet, Like, what's the goal in season?
- 42:01Speaker 4: Man?
- 42:02Speaker 7: Keep winning? That's the main thing. The main thing is winning,
- 42:06Speaker 7: you know, Like you said, this team is very deep.
- 42:08Speaker 7: Some games I've had two points, you know, we won
- 42:11Speaker 7: my thirty points, you know, or I have thirty points
- 42:15Speaker 7: within my thirty points a game, you know. So I
- 42:17Speaker 7: feel like this team has a lot of different guys
- 42:19Speaker 7: who could, you know, carry the load for the night.
- 42:22Speaker 7: And I think that's why it's so special. But like
- 42:25Speaker 7: you said, the main thing is winning, and let's just
- 42:28Speaker 7: we're gonna keep riding it out until we can't win
- 42:31Speaker 7: no more.
- 42:32Speaker 4: But hopefully that goes for the rest season.
- 42:33Speaker 3: I appreciate your time. Thank you, don't cry.

- 43:52Speaker 2: is us going through and looking at a bunch of cards,
- 43:54Speaker 2: a bunch of signed stuff that I got in the mail,
- 43:55Speaker 2: and pretty cool. A couple of these are really cool
- 43:58Speaker 2: and worth a lot, and I haven't collected cards in
- 44:01Speaker 2: a long time.
- 44:01Speaker 3: So here it is.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I was just talking about some of the stuff I
- 44:03Speaker 2: got in the mail.
- 44:04Speaker 3: So what I have here?
- 44:05Speaker 2: I have all my card I haven't collected sports cards
- 44:07Speaker 2: in my whole life and since like twelve.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Who that's a lot of.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Age twelve baseball card. But there's only baseball cards, and
- 44:13Speaker 2: it was more of a thing back in the day.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Do you ever clack baseball cards, Kevin? No, it was
- 44:16Speaker 2: before you.
- 44:17Speaker 3: H wait, you wouldn't collect football or basketball, never really
- 44:21Speaker 3: only baseball, even like trying to get Jordan's or anything. Nope.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I was all baseball all the time, and football cards
- 44:27Speaker 2: weren't even really a big thing yet when I was
- 44:29Speaker 2: collecting cards, Oh I remember, like I remember having it.
- 44:32Speaker 2: But for me, when I quit, they were, oh when
- 44:34Speaker 2: you quit like a novelty okay, okay, hey, when I
- 44:37Speaker 2: stopped smoking, you know.
- 44:38Speaker 3: When you're collecting cards. Yeah, So I have all these, and.
- 44:40Speaker 2: These first ones you can give to your kids. I'll
- 44:42Speaker 2: tell you who they are because they just Kenneth Walker
- 44:45Speaker 2: the third nice See how Jamior Gibbs.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Is that his rookie card. That's got to be a
- 44:52Speaker 3: rookie card, right, was a rookie I didn't even look
- 44:54Speaker 3: it up, so you can look and see if If
- 44:55Speaker 3: it is, you can just have it anyway. Christian Watson,
- 45:00Speaker 3: Ardner Minshew, and Russell Wilson. All those came loose, so
- 45:03Speaker 3: you can have those kind of your kids.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna keep that Juamior Gibbs though I'm not gonna
- 45:07Speaker 3: give that one.
- 45:08Speaker 6: They don't know about that guy.
- 45:09Speaker 3: These are all the ones that I have.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I had never even planned to get in the card
- 45:13Speaker 2: like game industry, but I won them accidentally because I
- 45:18Speaker 2: clicked on the wrong thing and so I got since SUMM.
- 45:20Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, that was fun. Let me
- 45:21Speaker 2: do another one.
- 45:22Speaker 3: So this one here is a nineteen ninety one signed
- 45:25Speaker 3: Bo Jackson.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Look at this thing on the front with Auburn at
- 45:30Speaker 2: number thirty four on the back with the Raiders Heisman
- 45:35Speaker 2: hero card. Again it's signed thirteen. They only made twenty
- 45:39Speaker 2: five of these with the sign what that is amazing.
- 45:42Speaker 2: It's thirteen to twenty five.
- 45:44Speaker 3: This is unbelievable. It's a pro set. I remember these.
- 45:48Speaker 2: So the pro set existed anyway, but this company with
- 45:53Speaker 2: they do is they buy back twenty five of them
- 45:55Speaker 2: and they take them and have the person sign them
- 45:57Speaker 2: and it's a special thirteen to twenty five so it's
- 46:00Speaker 2: a ninety one card. They had bo Jackson sign it,
- 46:01Speaker 2: and they're redistributed Heisman Hero.
- 46:05Speaker 3: It's really cool.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I mean here, if any will give it.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Up, this is really really cool. Like this is one
- 46:10Speaker 3: where if I was in middle school, I would have
- 46:12Speaker 3: fought someone for that one.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I'm guessing because I looked up some stuff about it.
- 46:15Speaker 2: I'm guessing that's worth about five hundred bucks. Oh yes,
- 46:19Speaker 2: based on other autographs and other cards because those are
- 46:24Speaker 2: only twenty five so it's not like a big market
- 46:26Speaker 2: for them because.
- 46:26Speaker 6: We're not out yeah and everything. Yeah, so this seal
- 46:30Speaker 6: it right now.
- 46:30Speaker 3: No, thank you.
- 46:31Speaker 2: This is a they called this slabbed to a rookie slabbed.
- 46:36Speaker 2: It's a prison black silver slab that it's already been
- 46:38Speaker 2: raided and slabbed. And all you do is click the
- 46:41Speaker 2: QR cotation about the card and it's meant condition. It's
- 46:44Speaker 2: a ten. This one's worth about seven hundred dollars.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Wow. Well yeah, well look tens are tens are really rare?
- 46:50Speaker 2: Well no, no, tens are the condition of the card, right,
- 46:52Speaker 2: but they're really it's rare to be.
- 46:54Speaker 3: That's rare to have a ten.
- 46:56Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, what do you mean, Like, what's
- 46:58Speaker 6: the scale?
- 46:58Speaker 4: No?
- 46:59Speaker 3: No, t is perfect?
- 47:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah one through ten, ten is perfect.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Ten. It's a meant condition. But dude, you're talking about
- 47:05Speaker 3: like you can buy a pack of cards at Target
- 47:07Speaker 3: or whatever or a card shop, open it and have
- 47:10Speaker 3: this same card and have it graded untouched like you
- 47:14Speaker 3: had gloves. You give it to them and they'll still
- 47:16Speaker 3: give you a nine or an eight and a half,
- 47:17Speaker 3: four and eight and a half.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I's also some eight and a halfs online for like
- 47:19Speaker 2: four hundred fifty bucks, just.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Because the quality of the card is just not where
- 47:23Speaker 3: it should be, even if it's brand new. The fact
- 47:25Speaker 3: that there's a ten is bad.
- 47:27Speaker 6: At who is that?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Who is rookie card twenty twenty? That's a really it's
- 47:30Speaker 2: twenty twenty right yep?
- 47:32Speaker 3: Okay, this is a Chad Johnson not signed, but it's
- 47:36Speaker 3: a one to one oto Sinco.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like forty bucks. Look that one up.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I'll pass a long. What's cool two bones is that
- 47:45Speaker 3: you know a lot of cards nowadays they do reissues
- 47:48Speaker 3: of like the same thing, but it came out.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Last year and that is not it's not a that's
- 47:53Speaker 2: what that is last year twenty twenty three reissue. Some
- 47:55Speaker 2: of these I don't even look up to know, not
- 47:56Speaker 2: gonna be worth much, at least not right now. But
- 47:58Speaker 2: here's uh Spears from Tennis Titans. Yeah, who was running
- 48:01Speaker 2: back after Derrick Henry. I think what's cool about this
- 48:04Speaker 2: is red. It's a shot. Yeah yeah, and all that.
- 48:06Speaker 2: There's like blue red, and those are different values. Here's
- 48:10Speaker 2: devon a chain that's a rookie card, but it's not signed,
- 48:13Speaker 2: so that's probably worth like twenty bucks. But I'm gonna
- 48:16Speaker 2: get to some of these other stuff. Here's a Brice
- 48:17Speaker 2: Young rookie card, silver, not signed, worth about forty bucks.
- 48:20Speaker 2: But it's a one of seven, and only seven of those.
- 48:22Speaker 3: You trying to sell these?
- 48:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I just have them.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I just got them all the mail and the last
- 48:26Speaker 2: couple days I was very excited to see them.
- 48:28Speaker 3: That's a cool card.
- 48:29Speaker 2: This is a Dan Marino reissue. It's a twenty twenty
- 48:32Speaker 2: three but it's a reissue. It's only one of two.
- 48:33Speaker 2: It's just not signed. That's worth about twenty five bucks
- 48:36Speaker 2: or something.
- 48:36Speaker 3: That's cool. Yeah, this one almost looks just like the
- 48:41Speaker 3: Spears one.
- 48:42Speaker 2: If it was signed, it'd be awesome.
- 48:44Speaker 3: So check this out.
- 48:45Speaker 2: This is a pro set brock Bauers signed. So brock
- 48:48Speaker 2: Bowers is the first round pick from Georgia. Yeah, it's
- 48:51Speaker 2: a signed. He's not been drafted yet. Yep, it's called
- 48:54Speaker 2: a going pro and they sign he's signed.
- 48:58Speaker 1: This is a.
- 49:02Speaker 3: One of one.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Wow, so already that one's worth a lot. I would
- 49:06Speaker 2: think I could get like seven hundred bucks for that.
- 49:08Speaker 2: But but this is the one you want to keep
- 49:09Speaker 2: because he's really good in the NFL. Dude, because he's
- 49:11Speaker 2: in he's in his college interforman.
- 49:12Speaker 3: If he's the next you know, Kelsey, like, this would
- 49:18Speaker 3: be worth so so much money.
- 49:20Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 49:21Speaker 6: Some of the yeah, there you go.
- 49:23Speaker 2: My wife's like, who's got a Patriots truck outside of
- 49:25Speaker 2: the house. Some of these are college guys who are
- 49:28Speaker 2: still playing ball, but they've signed the cards.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I'm shocked that your wife knew that was a Patriots
- 49:31Speaker 3: truck because he's got the old guy.
- 49:33Speaker 2: She's sports fan.
- 49:34Speaker 3: She knows me. She knows even the old helmet.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so you can tell me if you know
- 49:39Speaker 2: who they are. But Quentin Joyner, this is A signed
- 49:42Speaker 2: Quentin Joyner CARDI is still in college USC most likely. Okay, okay,
- 49:46Speaker 2: he's I think he's still playing. So some of these
- 49:47Speaker 2: aren't going to even be big stars or just college
- 49:51Speaker 2: carry on. Dante Moore to carry Yeah, the quarterback at UCLA.
- 49:55Speaker 3: I think Dante Moore.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he went to Oregon I to So this
- 49:59Speaker 2: is him and as U c l A body signed it.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Malik Benson.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Do you know who that is? I think he is a.
- 50:08Speaker 2: H Alabama. It's one of four we look at Malik Benson,
- 50:12Speaker 2: ye or maybe USC.
- 50:14Speaker 3: These cards look like they were made to have the
- 50:17Speaker 3: they are.
- 50:17Speaker 2: They're built for the person who sign it.
- 50:19Speaker 4: Cool.
- 50:23Speaker 6: He was at Gosh, they got a pictures of him
- 50:25Speaker 6: with three different programs. Oh yeah he wasn't BAMA.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Looks like that's football these guys.
- 50:30Speaker 6: I know, dude in Oregon and now it looks like
- 50:32Speaker 6: Florida State.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Okay, so he is looks at BAM on this one,
- 50:36Speaker 3: but he's signed. That's him. Jill Knowles, I have a
- 50:40Speaker 3: This is the one that they make.
- 50:41Speaker 2: This is the metal card that they produced the other
- 50:43Speaker 2: ones from.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Wow.
- 50:44Speaker 2: This is a one on one. It says you have
- 50:46Speaker 2: received an authentic print used plate. The plate was used
- 50:49Speaker 2: in the print of Making the Player, and he autographed
- 50:53Speaker 2: it omari On Hampton. I don't know who that is,
- 50:57Speaker 2: but that is awesome. What Hampton place for like North?
- 51:03Speaker 2: And there's no color on this because it's that's a
- 51:05Speaker 2: print that will play O Mario Hampton, North Carolina.
- 51:09Speaker 3: YEP, is it? He's if I remember correctly, he's awesome.
- 51:12Speaker 3: What is he running back?
- 51:13Speaker 6: Running back?
- 51:14Speaker 3: But I don't think he's I don't think he wanted
- 51:15Speaker 3: the draft this year, right, mm hm, he's.
- 51:21Speaker 6: Only no, he's only twenty her.
- 51:22Speaker 3: He's really good, really, but he's still in college.
- 51:25Speaker 2: I'm lucky I got that right.
- 51:26Speaker 3: There's no color on that. I said, that's amazing. Well,
- 51:28Speaker 3: you don't color yours this year? Yeah?
- 51:30Speaker 4: He was.
- 51:30Speaker 6: He was all American touchdowns.
- 51:32Speaker 2: It's all American.
- 51:32Speaker 3: You're right.
- 51:33Speaker 2: There's no way to know what team is in on
- 51:35Speaker 2: Brendan Rice looks like it's from USC.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Sign this one. This is so cool. That's Jerry's son,
- 51:47Speaker 3: that's right. Yeah, he's gonna go to the draft. He'll
- 51:49Speaker 3: be a second or third day pick. Yeah's Jerry Rice's son.
- 51:51Speaker 3: That's right. Is this guy good? He's like six two
- 51:53Speaker 3: two ten, like not physically, it's like Jerry Rice so
- 51:57Speaker 3: but he was pretty good.
- 51:58Speaker 6: Yeah, he's all right.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Mostly was Jerry his son. Yeah, you can pass those
- 52:01Speaker 2: all to him.
- 52:02Speaker 6: Well yeah, well Eddi's keeping something for himself, like no, I.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Will Cameron Ward quarterback and yeah, but he transferred to
- 52:12Speaker 3: Washington State. You know, he transferred. Where is he going?
- 52:17Speaker 2: There's cam Ward signed and some of these aren't signed up.
- 52:19Speaker 2: But I wanted to go through some of these. See
- 52:21Speaker 2: see where cam Ward is? Cameron Ward?
- 52:24Speaker 6: Cam Ward is that because he was Washington State.
- 52:27Speaker 3: This is Washington State. O.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Miami, Oh that's where he is. Yes, it's right, he
- 52:35Speaker 2: went to Miami this year. Here's Drew Brees non signed.
- 52:38Speaker 2: It's two of six. It's a retro like I throwback one. Yeah,
- 52:43Speaker 2: it's a blue.
- 52:43Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Did already have one, Milik Benson?
- 52:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Right, you got too.
- 52:48Speaker 2: I have another signed one.
- 52:49Speaker 3: And where is he now?
- 52:51Speaker 6: No, he's still he's still with Florid State. Wait which
- 52:55Speaker 6: one was it?
- 52:56Speaker 3: I think that was in North Carolinica?
- 52:57Speaker 1: Wait?
- 52:58Speaker 2: No, no, was yeah, Milike Benson is.
- 53:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the one that's at Florida State.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Now okay, this is I have another one. You can
- 53:10Speaker 2: have this one again signed. Yeah, that can be a
- 53:12Speaker 2: big price for one of your kids.
- 53:14Speaker 3: That's a big one. Cool, thanks man. Here's a JJ
- 53:17Speaker 3: McCarthy not signed, but he's going to the NFL this
- 53:22Speaker 3: year in the draft.

- 53:27Speaker 2: That's all right, Isa Flowers one on one not signed the.

- 53:39Speaker 3: Look up.
- 53:40Speaker 2: George McIntyre doesn't even sound familiar.
- 53:43Speaker 3: He's one of the new kids on the block. I think, No,
- 53:45Speaker 3: that's Josh Joey Joey. Who's this guy, George McIntyre. He
- 53:51Speaker 3: signs g mac i.
- 53:54Speaker 6: Nope, not the one that died until the sixteen, right.
- 53:56Speaker 2: That'd be awesome because he signed it like last year. No,
- 53:58Speaker 2: that wouldn't been signed it from the grave, no gossop
- 54:00Speaker 2: for me, it'd be a rare card. Georgie McIntyre t

- 54:12Speaker 2: n t y r E McIntyre.
- 54:16Speaker 3: What if he's not real.
- 54:17Speaker 6: Miami of Ohio. Maybe he went to Brentwin Academy.
- 54:21Speaker 3: He's from here. That'school.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Is he Miami of a high Miami, University of Miami
- 54:25Speaker 3: of Ohio. Because he's wearing red.
- 54:27Speaker 4: What is that?
- 54:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got a red helmet on. But you said

- 57:17Speaker 2: cards sign If you see that any Penn State Jordan.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Battle Man, that looks like Penn State. But see if
- 57:25Speaker 3: it's not Penn State, then some of these are high
- 57:27Speaker 3: school cards. Man, that's not that's not Penn State. It's
- 57:30Speaker 3: not because it's got a red red Georgia line.
- 57:32Speaker 6: Okay, he's in the he's on the Bengals now, but
- 57:35Speaker 6: he went to Bama.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Why is that white.
- 57:37Speaker 2: It's white with red outline around the colors. It's probably
- 57:39Speaker 2: his high school, or look up Jordan Battle High School.
- 57:43Speaker 2: So they have a white team, white jersey with like
- 57:47Speaker 2: red outside that. I don't see that red part. It's
- 57:49Speaker 2: the problem that lies. Yeah, unless it's a Bengals white helmet.
- 57:54Speaker 6: He went to Saint Thomas.
- 57:55Speaker 4: That's a no.
- 57:56Speaker 6: They're like gold and.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Number twenty seven. Oh see, I don't have a much
- 58:01Speaker 2: more less. Are you guys bored by this?
- 58:03Speaker 4: No?
- 58:03Speaker 2: I mean people listening might be, but I love this.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Carson Beck signed. Nice, he didn't make it Georgia. Georgia
- 58:10Speaker 2: sets Bennett you thinking about?
- 58:11Speaker 3: No, no, no Beck? That was that was the battle

- 58:28Speaker 3: he's got another year at Georgia. Right May and Williams
- 58:34Speaker 3: maybe Ohio State running back three? It signs he good, Yeah,
- 58:42Speaker 3: it's good. Well high asked those Ohio State guys play
- 58:45Speaker 3: within a freaking fantastic offense.
- 58:48Speaker 6: He had like a crazy freshman year, I think, and
- 58:50Speaker 6: then kind of died down.
- 58:51Speaker 3: Okay, Eddie, this one you can have.
- 58:54Speaker 2: It is a Tony romo, not signed.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Oh that's cool, dude.
- 58:57Speaker 2: But it's a three or five.
- 58:59Speaker 3: This is a you got an A on your homework,
- 59:01Speaker 3: that's your card.
- 59:02Speaker 2: It's a big anthony. All these are in cases.
- 59:03Speaker 3: That's really cool.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Luke Musgrave. It's a one on one not signed, though,
- 59:08Speaker 2: you can have that one that you should frame this
- 59:09Speaker 2: with your with a jersey, ten bucks or so. Oh no,
- 59:12Speaker 2: you have a van Ness not musk Grave. Tank Dell Texans.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Tank Dell is a beast.
- 59:16Speaker 6: He had a great year three of five.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Is he a rookie?
- 59:18Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, but then remember he broke his leg and
- 59:20Speaker 6: like last game or something.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Quentin Joyner non signed. Quentin Joiners at a USC. Gotta
- 59:28Speaker 3: be USC, right, Quentin Joinner that looks like USC. Yeah, dude.
- 59:33Speaker 3: These guys do a good job of taking the logos
- 59:35Speaker 3: off their hold. They don't have a call it.
- 59:37Speaker 6: Yeah, they have to, I guess.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Right, yeah, uh, okay, you know this one. Jalen Hyatt
- 59:42Speaker 2: Tam Tennessee. He's a rookie this last year with the
- 59:45Speaker 2: yeah signed Yeah, Jalen Hyatt signed.
- 59:47Speaker 3: That's a cool one card. Just a few more. You're
- 59:50Speaker 3: holding that big one last. It's in the big it's.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Actually that's what the it's in the bow Jackson case.
- 59:56Speaker 2: It's a different type of card though, But I don't
- 59:58Speaker 2: know who he was. Okay, it's a card. It's a
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: nineteen ninety one Jacob Green signed. He's a defensivevan for
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the Seahawks. And it's in a big case and it's signed.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: But I don't know.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I don't know him. I don't remember him.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Who's that Jacob Green, ninety one defensive van for the Seahawks.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: It's signed, it's big ring of honor. He doesn't sea
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: ring of honor. Yeah to Syracuse, Yeah I didn't.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: I didn't know him.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I got two more here than I've done. But the
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: second Carson Beck signed.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: Is the same one.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I don't think. So what's the one you have? Look like,
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: did I pass you?
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I have it?
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: I don't have it.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: I got it.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Show me that one. Mind. This one's sideways, different different cards,
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: and he put fifteen on it.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Carson Beck, you presided an audi one on one and
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: then the final card because I think that Brock Bowers
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: is going to be it is already valuable, right, it's
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: like five hundred bucks.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Then that's crazy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: But if he turns good, it's gonna be awesome. But
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: this one here, it's a rookie card. I can't wait
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: to tell the colors. But it might be the his
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: NFL colors. But it's a rookie card. Who can coup
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: as signed?
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Yeah, one of one. These are the RAM colors.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: That's amazing, dude. One of one. That's really cool. I
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: thought was pretty cool.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I don't think, but I don't know anything about how
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: much cards are worth. I think I'd like to take
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: a walk at a card shop and just say how much,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: But then they they can take advantage of because they
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: know you're an idiot. But just go in and ask
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: them and don't sell them to be like, I know
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: exactly how much is it worth? That's want to see,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: if you know, dude, those.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Card guys they're crazy. I mean, they're just always dealing.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: They're always dealing in there. I remember last Christmas, I
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: was going to buy some for Steve, and so I
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: went in there and the guy's like, how much are
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: you willing to spend that was his first question because
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: I acted like the dad, you know, just like, hey man,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: my friend wants cards, Like what do I get them?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: How much are you willing to spend? And to start,
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: he ended up selling me a box for one hundred
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: dollars and it was like, there's nothing in that box.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: It was already opened before you. Did you open it
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: yourself the box?
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: No, it was sealed.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: So maybe some of this when I when I bought
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: it was steal and they open it up live. My
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: favorite one, though there's some that are worth. Bo Jackson
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: is my favorite. Yeah, yeah, of course that's legit.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: But this George McIntyre, if he's still in high school,
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: it's a five star quarterback.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Try to get him on.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: That's like, yeah, get him to come to the house
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: if he's not, if he's still living close. That's really
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: cool that he's a high school quarterback and it's a
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: signed deal. Yeah, but I don't know if that's like
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: you want to tank del rookie, Yeah, yeah, totally. What
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: did I give you, Eddie?
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: You gave me.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: The Malik Benson autograph. Okay, well I think you had
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: a duplicate on that, and then you gave me Audric
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: estimate he's the Notre Dame running back.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: But yeah, how many sign ones did I give you?
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Is that one? Nine? I think just one? Yeah, I
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: just want to go ahead. Tank Dell just gave me
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: that one, and then then Tony Romo.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: That's Roma's cool. And here's Chris rodrigcause you can have
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: this one you played for Ka Tucky noother.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: My fellow got to man that George Georgia guitar seems awesome,
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: and I was.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I would have given one of you guys one of
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: the Carson backs, but I have two of them are different. Hey,
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: so so these you get these the same way as
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: you do breaks. They do breaks with him, I don't
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: do straight card breaks. But uh so you want to
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: hear the jerseys I got recently. Yeah, I'm retired by
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: the way.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: I just had to step away. You're done done, I think,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: So did you have you? Because did you call the number?
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: No, We're gonna have them on. I love it, but
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: I'm starting in to I don't care what I want anymore.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: I just want to be involved. And that's when I'm like,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: I'm a little too much into it. I love it
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: so much, so it's a rushed He's like, what are
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: you gonna do this stuff? I like, I don't care.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: It's a rush, but maybe you should tell the dorm
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: dudes like, hey, uh, just ban me, even if even
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: if you see me next week. What I won yesterday?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Oh my what?
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I want So they do a thing and it's super
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: fu favorite one to do. It's called it a let's
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: go box like a waffle on the front. Oh yeah,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: and they pull it looks an go yeah, and out
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: of it they pull either a.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: I want two things yesterday that are crazy. Oh I'm
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: getting a boner? What you are getting?
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: The footballs they have are the white ones that signed
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: the panel, and so that's kind of the least they
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: act like it's that's the one they get less excited about.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: It's still really cool. I want to Nick Chubb. I'm
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: just giving to a listener. But it's cool. But it's
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: a white panel, you know, like we whatever. Rarely is
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: there just a real football that's the player signs. I mean,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: apparently that's worth a whole bunch more. I won a
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: real Brett Farv signed football yesterday.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Holy crap? You serious? Yes?
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Wow, I'm a donatate Tossissippi for there.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Stole that money from the museum.

- 1:04:54Speaker 2: and asked read. I was like, how much is this
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: can you get for this? And he looked at it
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: and he said, that's wild.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Every here it is.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: It's still wrapped in cell a fame. But it's a
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: real ball. It's not the white panel one NFL ball.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: And he said every one that he sees like that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: The very bottom one, which is a little better, was
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: like five hundred bucks.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: I'm not gonna what to do with it, but it's
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: cool to have.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Well, that one you can keep around, put in your
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: video game office, your video game. I want some signed

- 1:05:33Speaker 3: pulled it out.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: They're like, we don't know the shape, but this isn't
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: great because the didn't understand what it was at first.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: They pulled out this Barry Sanders figurine signed by Barry Sanders.

- 1:07:41Speaker 2: So I don't think about Funko's, but they they have
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: like Jerry Seinfeld Funko's that he signed. He's goes for
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: like two thousand dollars. So there was a John Krasinski
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: one Jim from the office by John Krasinski.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: So I went over to the site and I made
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: ten of these Bobby bones Funko with my name with Stanley.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: What are you holding?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: A microphone and set headphones? So that's really cool. So
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I ordered ten of them. They make them.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: How did you do that? Did you make that picture
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: and then send that to No?
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: You go through and there are all these options on.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: So I made that this and I made Stanley. They
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: have a bunch of options that you can make and
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: so I'm gonna sign them.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: That is so cool and watch them get real valuable.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Maybe give them away. Oh no, dude, you know what
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: you should do. You should give them a one dorm dude,
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: so they can do a break on that. Would I
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: give it? Well, okay, you sell it. To them and
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: then they and then they sell it and something and
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: whoever gets is like, oh, I want to bump. Wait
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: what but I made They're coming in.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I'm pretty excited to see them, and I'm kind of
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: getting into it, so I'll maybe a sell them for
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: charity or something.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: I had to pay for them.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: They were like not cheap. The last thing I bought
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I bought with my own money. I thought we were
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: going to see de on Monday, and that was moved
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: down Coach Prime deal Sanders. Yeah, he's got a book
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: coming out and I reached out like, hey, let's come
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: out now, and he was like, yep, let's go, and
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: then we couldn't get it organized in time. So we're
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: still going to go whenever a few weeks month whatever.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: But I had ordered an completely unsigned Cowboys off in
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: a helmet that I was gonna get him to sign.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Really it came in today, but it's it's a not
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: that of helmet. It's just nothing on it. But I
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: gotta play it cool because I don't like going places
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: and get people to sign stuff because I'm not like,
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: so what we're gonna start doing in our show is
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: all right? This is part of the show called that
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: you sign it. We want to watch you sign something,
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: and it's part of it, like watch them do the autograph.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: That's a great idea, but it's part of the show.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: But then I just keep it. Yeah yeah, yeah, And
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: that's the part of the show where Reid can actually
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: a for the autograph. Read's gonna love Okay, Well that
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: was fun. Huh Yeah, that's awesome, dude. And your kids
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: have cards, yeah, which has been amazing too, Like when
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: they do something good, you know, I'm like, all right,
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: you get a prize, here's a card, and they love it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I'm starving, I get it's the food I get sleep out,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I sepat machine. You're getting it forty five minutes. Oh
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: you are wanted to get it.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: You're gonna put it on as soon as you get it.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna drive home with it on. It doesn't even work.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: I'm just gonna drive to put it on.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Anyway, all right, Thank you guys, twenty five whistle appreciate it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: All right, that's it.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: In the news before we jump, Mike Evis just signed
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: a two year deal with the Bucks. So he's rich now,
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: big money.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, good for him. Yeah, Like he wasn't
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: he needed it? Yeah, yeah, he really was. So that's
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: coral before you man.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Anything else we missed As of this morning, no.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Still can't find the list. But one thing that's impressive
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: is Pistol Pete. He did that in eighty three games.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: He averaged forty four points a game. No three point
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: line either, no three point line, forty four a game
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: and was shooting from way back.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Amazing.
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: The next guy, Detroit Mercy, remember when he did that
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: last year, he was close, he was three points behind.
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: Took him one hundred and forty four games.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and imagine if he had a three point line
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Pistol p yeah, yeah yeah, and he again, Pistol Pete
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: had a good NBA career, even great, but because his
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: numbers were tired all of that, but they didn't have
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: a three point line for part of his part of
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: his NBA career.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, when did that show up? Oh yeah, yesterday
