  God's word in your life. So, let's

  huddle up and hear today's play from

  Revelation 1, which says, "From Jesus
• 0:14
  Christ, the faithful witness, the
• 0:16
  firstborn from the dead and the ruler of
• 0:18
  the kings of the earth. To him who loves
• 0:21
  us and has freed us from our sins by his
• 0:23
  blood and made us a kingdom and priest
• 0:26
  to serve as God and father. To him be
• 0:28
  glory and power forever and ever. Amen.

  Think about that for a moment. Jesus,
• 0:35
  king over every nation, every business,
• 0:38
  every home has chosen us, freed us, and
• 0:42
  called us priests. That means we're not
• 0:44
  spectators in the kingdom of God. We're
• 0:46
  his representatives, men sent to make
• 0:49
  him known in how we live and work and
• 0:52
  speak. But let's be honest, most of us
• 0:54
  at some point have gone quiet. We've let
• 0:56
  our daily pressures drown out our
• 0:58
  mission. We tell ourselves faith is
• 1:00
  private. But that's not what Jesus said.
• 1:03
  When he told his disciples, "All
• 1:04
  authority in heaven on earth has been
• 1:06
  given to me. Go and make disciples." He
• 1:08
  was commanding us to move, to speak, and
• 1:11
  to serve. Being a Christian man doesn't
• 1:13
  mean being perfect. It means being
• 1:15
  obedient. Priests aren't called to hide.
• 1:17
  They're called to stand between God and
• 1:19
  a world that needs him. Showing people
• 1:21
  his truth through our words and our
• 1:22
  actions. Run today's play. ask God for
• 1:26
  one opportunity to represent him well.

  Maybe that's prayer with our family.
• 1:31
  Maybe it's a sharing of a word of
• 1:32
  encouragement or truth from a with a
• 1:34
  co-orker. Maybe it's just treating
• 1:36
  someone with a grace God has shown you.

  You were meant to live on purpose with
• 1:40
  power and for his glory. You are a
• 1:42
  priest of the most high God. Now step
• 1:45
  into that identity and let's see the
• 1:47
  world through Jesus as Jesus sees you.
