- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why, is a founding member of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to episode 344 of BFYTW, because fuck you,
- 0:44Speaker 2: that's why. Welcome to the podcast. It's a panel show-inspired podcast.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We play silly games, we have a lot of fun,
- 0:50Speaker 2: and we do it with these three awesome human beings,
- 0:53Speaker 2: starting with... He's a gamer and a storyteller, and he
- 0:56Speaker 2: used to be my youngest friend. Now he's just one
- 0:58Speaker 2: of the coolest. It's Augie! 🎵 He's a gamer and
- 1:06Speaker 2: a storyteller.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Whenever he's awake, he's gonna get baked. It's Awky Doggy Zero.
- 1:21Speaker 3: The pacing of the theme didn't match the pacing of
- 1:23Speaker 3: the intro.
- 1:23Speaker 2: No, no.
- 1:24Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Not at all.
- 1:26Speaker 2: In fact, it's pulled it completely down.
- 1:28Speaker 3: God fucking damn it.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I am throwing off my game.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Thank you, Mexicana.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Always a pleasure.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So this is going to be, it's almost a cop,
- 1:38Speaker 2: it feels like a cop-out question. What have you been
- 1:40Speaker 2: playing lately?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Actually, I've been playing two things.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:45Speaker 2: That's your answer.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Let's move on.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Playing three things technically oh shit very quickly been going
- 1:54Speaker 3: through the Final Fantasies still getting through Final Fantasy 1
- 1:57Speaker 3: I've been doing it casually like late at night right
- 2:00Speaker 3: before bed I've been playing Total War Warhammer 3 not
- 2:06Speaker 3: in preparation of the new one coming out because I
- 2:08Speaker 3: don't think I'm going to get it but mostly because
- 2:09Speaker 3: I've had this one for so long I really want
- 2:11Speaker 3: to learn it and I've had a couple breakthroughs with
- 2:14Speaker 3: it so it's kind of been fun lately And then finally,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I've been playing Monster Hunter Wilds, now that it actually
- 2:20Speaker 3: works for AMD systems, with Stevie and Cyber.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 3: And we're getting back into Monster Hunter again.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Holy crap, isn't that fun? Very cool. Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 2:32Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And his opponent, he's a veteran and a podcaster. And
- 2:36Speaker 2: as it turns out, a veteran podcaster. It's Stevie.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's Stevie. It's Stevie.
- 2:43Speaker 2: What a weird asshole. And now we're back in the
- 2:47Speaker 2: rhythm and energy we were before. What up, Stevie?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yo, what up, brother? How y'all doing?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yo. Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It's a good time.
- 2:52Speaker 2: So what you been playing lately?
- 2:53Speaker 1: I've been not playing Monster Hunter. He's lying. I don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: play those games. No, I'm joking. We did play Monster
- 2:58Speaker 1: Hunter a bit. I got it.
- 2:59Speaker 2: At gunpoint.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty much. And then when.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I can sneak away from that, which is very rare
- 3:05Speaker 4: in here because I live with the man.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I've been.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I know, I know, I know. I've been playing Call
- 3:10Speaker 4: of Duty Warzone, but, but, but, but, hold the fuck up, hold.
- 3:13Speaker 2: On, fuck on.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I've been playing with Simothy Jimothy. Oh, okay. Yes. All right.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And his... On the same team? On the same team.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I try. It's hard to kill him.
- 3:25Speaker 4: It's hard when there's no friendly fighters. I've got to
- 3:27Speaker 4: get him to blow up near my Claymore and shit.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 3:32Speaker 4: But I've had at least one, I think two matches now,
- 3:36Speaker 4: with his podcast partner, Julie's husband.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Oh, cool.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yes, which I'm not saying his name because they don't
- 3:43Speaker 1: say his name on their podcast, apparently.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Okay, that's fair.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So that guy.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And he's awesome.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He's so much better than Timothy. In every way possible.
- 3:53Speaker 2: He should podcast.
- 3:54Speaker 1: No, I'm joking, dude. I'm fucking joking. I'm joking, joking.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He should not podcast. He can't carry a conversation. Again,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm fucking with you. Dude, I'm joking. I don't even
- 4:07Speaker 1: remember talking to you. I know you were there.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I don't remember talking to you.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That's even worse in a way.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And we decorated for Halloween. Yeah. There's a ghost.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I see.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And jack-o'-lanterns.
- 4:20Speaker 2: There's a cat.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, cat-o'-lanterns. Cat-o'-lanterns. Jack-o'-cantern? No.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Anyway, that's the two of them. Now it's time for me,
- 4:30Speaker 2: your host, Pantsless Aaron. Augie, hit it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Pantsless Aaron! The host of BFYTW.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Pantsless Aaron!
- 4:40Speaker 1: He'll trick some stoners for a laugh or two.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Pantsless Aaron! Yay!
- 4:51Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 4:53Speaker 2: And as for me, I have been playing Ghost of Yotei,
- 4:57Speaker 2: which I still really, really enjoy. But one that I
- 5:01Speaker 2: got into last night and just really started digging into
- 5:04Speaker 2: was Blueprints. This is a game that has been on
- 5:07Speaker 2: my radar for a while, but I've never actually tried it.
- 5:09Speaker 4: I had three things jump into my head. Like, blue
- 5:14Speaker 4: actual paw prints, like blue's clues.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I had, like.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Blues Prince, or, like, this dude who does blues music in, like,
- 5:24Speaker 4: the genre of Prince stuff, songs.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And then.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Blueprints, because Blueprints.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Okay, well, you're one for three.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yes, I got it! Point!
- 5:34Speaker 2: It's actually spelled, like, Prince, like, The Singer Prince. Blue Prince.
- 5:38Speaker 3: That was not the one I was expecting to be correct. Right?
- 5:43Speaker 2: That wasn't the one he got correct. The one he
- 5:44Speaker 2: got correct was actually Blue Prince as in the actual
- 5:47Speaker 2: blueprint of a place. So your uncle leaves you this
- 5:51Speaker 2: giant manor house and you only get to keep it
- 5:55Speaker 2: if you find the 46th room.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Uh, okay.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Uh, so you, you walk in and the, the, the
- 6:06Speaker 2: first room is always the same. It's a, it's a, uh,
- 6:08Speaker 2: like a, uh, just a, just a foyer with three
- 6:12Speaker 2: doors heading North, East and West. And you draft rooms
- 6:18Speaker 2: to add on when you go through a door. Um,
- 6:21Speaker 2: so you build this house as you walk through it. However,
- 6:25Speaker 2: if you ever build in such a way that you
- 6:27Speaker 2: can't continue, uh, Or if you run out of energy,
- 6:30Speaker 2: you go to sleep for the day. You wake up
- 6:33Speaker 2: in the morning and start all over again. The house
- 6:36Speaker 2: now has a different layout. You make a new building.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Room by room by room.
- 6:41Speaker 1: No way.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So it's interesting because it's got kind of like a
- 6:44Speaker 2: board game where you're drafting the rooms and putting them
- 6:47Speaker 2: like tiles onto the board.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:50Speaker 2: But there's also puzzles involved. You'll occasionally walk into a
- 6:55Speaker 2: room that has a puzzle piece icon on it. And
- 6:57Speaker 2: that tells you there's a puzzle in that room to
- 6:59Speaker 2: be solved. And you usually get something, some kind of
- 7:01Speaker 2: bonus for it. There are, like, gems that allow you
- 7:05Speaker 2: to use more advanced rooms.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Like, you must spend a gem to place this particular room.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Like, upgraded room.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And there are some doors that when you go into
- 7:13Speaker 2: a room, some doors will be locked. You need keys
- 7:15Speaker 2: to open those. But you can also pick up coins
- 7:18Speaker 2: that you can use at various rooms to spend to
- 7:20Speaker 2: buy keys, gems, and or food, which will keep your
- 7:25Speaker 2: energy down.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Oh, makes sense.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Now, what's interesting to me is that there's this whole
- 7:29Speaker 2: outside area that I literally explored first before I even
- 7:32Speaker 2: set foot in the room. And there's all sorts of
- 7:34Speaker 2: stuff outside that makes me think there's a lot going
- 7:36Speaker 2: on in this game that I just haven't even seen.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I feel like I've seen just the barest tip of
- 7:41Speaker 2: the iceberg.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You're just staying inside your hallways in your room.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because you go to the edge of the property
- 7:47Speaker 2: and you look over and there's a waterfall. There's a
- 7:49Speaker 2: steep drop. So you're standing on this balcony. But if
- 7:51Speaker 2: you look to the right past the waterfall, there is
- 7:54Speaker 2: what appears to be a cliff. But in the cliffside,
- 7:57Speaker 2: you can see there's an open area with several columns
- 8:01Speaker 2: built into it. And I'm like, how the fuck do
- 8:04Speaker 2: you get from there all the way over there? And
- 8:06Speaker 2: then over by where your camp is, there's this big
- 8:09Speaker 2: black imposing looking fucking door that shut. I'm like, where
- 8:13Speaker 2: the fuck does that go?
- 8:14Speaker 1: And, you know, it's like, oh, my God, there's all.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Sorts of stuff just around that. I'm just like, what
- 8:20Speaker 2: the fuck? And there's tools and items you can pick
- 8:22Speaker 2: up on the way that will give you bonuses that
- 8:24Speaker 2: allow you to do additional things. For example, very early on,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I picked up a shovel. So if I found any
- 8:29Speaker 2: patches of dirt inside the house or in green tiled rooms,
- 8:35Speaker 2: which typically have an open sky and have like.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Oh, like an atrium.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Like a courtyard. Yeah, an atrium, things like that. You
- 8:41Speaker 2: can dig those up and possibly find more goodies. So
- 8:45Speaker 2: there's a lot going on. And I literally only played
- 8:48Speaker 2: it once, but I made it to 26 tiles. Now,
- 8:51Speaker 2: the board is made up of... it's nine ranks of
- 8:56Speaker 2: five tiles each.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:58Speaker 2: So to fill the whole thing in is 45. So I,
- 9:00Speaker 2: I suspect, and at the very top in the very
- 9:04Speaker 2: center is a room called the antechamber. That looks to
- 9:06Speaker 2: be the same every playthrough as well. So if you
- 9:09Speaker 2: manage to build out the entire 45-room thing, I imagine
- 9:13Speaker 2: you then get to do something in the antechamber that
- 9:15Speaker 2: allows you to go through to the 46th room.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Probably through that black door. Maybe. I don't know. Yeah. Oh,
- 9:21Speaker 1: my God. That sounds awesome.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I had a great time. And what's interesting is, like,
- 9:25Speaker 2: at that point, like... your energy has to still be
- 9:28Speaker 2: high enough for you to get to that room if
- 9:30Speaker 2: it is indeed the black door you have to cause
- 9:32Speaker 2: every time you walk through another room you lose one
- 9:35Speaker 2: energy and you start.
- 9:35Speaker 1: With 50 oh shit so you gotta.
- 9:37Speaker 2: But various things can increase like if you find a
- 9:39Speaker 2: bedroom you can take a short nap in it to
- 9:42Speaker 2: get your energy up if you find food you can
- 9:44Speaker 2: eat it to add more energy and there's all sorts
- 9:46Speaker 2: of things you can do it's a fascinating game and
- 9:48Speaker 2: I barely just like touched the tip.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Of it basically that's awesome but I had a lot of.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Fun what's interesting is like after you finish a run
- 9:56Speaker 2: it like grades you. Like I found 26 rooms and
- 9:59Speaker 2: I found a bunch of bedrooms. So it said the...
- 10:03Speaker 2: What did it call it? Like, the... The mountain in
- 10:07Speaker 2: the distance is called Mount Holly. So it called it
- 10:09Speaker 2: the Mount Holly Inn.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Because you were sleeping the whole time.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Because there were so many bedrooms.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Filled with bedrooms. It's a very interesting game. I dig
- 10:18Speaker 2: it quite a bit. Definitely got to get into more
- 10:22Speaker 2: of it. But in any event, that is going to
- 10:25Speaker 2: be it for me. Let's get into some games, shall we?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, hell yeah. I love games.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Our first game is our traditional news game. And this
- 10:34Speaker 2: time it's have I got good news for you?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Oh, fuck yeah.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm going to give you guys three news stories. And
- 10:39Speaker 2: all you have to do is tell me which one
- 10:40Speaker 2: of these news stories is the best news. Whichever one
- 10:44Speaker 2: I thought was the best news, if you get it right,
- 10:46Speaker 2: you will win the game and earn money. One episode point.
- 10:50Speaker 2: If neither of you get it, whoever picked the second
- 10:52Speaker 2: best will win. And let's get to it, shall we?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Our first news story. Air Force pilots year of migraines
- 11:01Speaker 2: caused by helmet being too tight. So this just shows
- 11:06Speaker 2: how important well-fitting gear is, even if you're not in
- 11:11Speaker 2: an accident. As anyone who's suffered a migraine knows, it
- 11:16Speaker 2: feels like somebody is squeezing your head. Um, conversely, actually
- 11:20Speaker 2: having your head squeezed can trigger a migraine.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Um, an Indian fighter pilot recently found that out through
- 11:26Speaker 2: ill-fitting equipment. This 29 year old guy had suffered from, uh,
- 11:31Speaker 2: headaches for more than a year before, before seeking medical help.
- 11:35Speaker 1: That sounds about right for the military.
- 11:37Speaker 2: They didn't find much wrong with him. So, uh, by
- 11:39Speaker 2: all tests, he should have been healthy as a horse,
- 11:41Speaker 2: but they gave him migraine medication and made him fly
- 11:44Speaker 2: on a restricted schedule. Hmm. And four months later, his
- 11:49Speaker 2: headaches had disappeared completely. But another medical review revealed that
- 11:54Speaker 2: the medicine hadn't done shit. And he made some kind
- 12:00Speaker 2: of offhanded remark about how the symptoms started and ended
- 12:03Speaker 2: when he got issued new gear. Made the doctors connect
- 12:07Speaker 2: the dots. And instead of migraines, his headaches were caused
- 12:10Speaker 2: by a too tightly fitting helmet.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 12:13Speaker 2: With his new roomier headgear, he returned to duty without problems.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And as far as the doctors who treated him could
- 12:20Speaker 2: find out, this is the first case in the world
- 12:23Speaker 2: of a pilot's overly tight helmet almost ending his career.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Damn. That would have sucked. That, yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's so funny because the helmet I had was too
- 12:34Speaker 1: fucking big for me.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Well, they were trying to avoid that exact thing.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it is. I mean, to be fair,
- 12:40Speaker 1: he's a pilot, though. He's also have a snug helmet.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's different.
- 12:44Speaker 4: But yeah, that's fucking very possible. But it also could
- 12:47Speaker 4: just be like, I don't know, all the chemicals on
- 12:49Speaker 4: the fucking aircraft. That might be causing your fucking migraines.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Dumbass.
- 12:54Speaker 3: That's what's causing yours.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. If I don't write, mine are fucking
- 12:59Speaker 1: probably from all the chemicals. And I had trauma.
- 13:04Speaker 2: What grabbed me about this news story is.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They didn't fit them right?
- 13:08Speaker 2: What grabbed me about this news story is, why is
- 13:10Speaker 2: this news?
- 13:12Speaker 6: Like.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Why is this worthy of being.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Used during the first place?
- 13:15Speaker 2: I mean, yes, he had a headache for years, and
- 13:19Speaker 2: that sucks.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 2: But.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's not that big of a news.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'm just like, why is this... Was he famous?
- 13:27Speaker 1: What was his name?
- 13:28Speaker 2: Why is anyone reporting on this? I feel like the
- 13:30Speaker 2: only reason is because this is the first case of
- 13:33Speaker 2: someone's career... almost being ended because they were probably going
- 13:36Speaker 2: to ground him.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah already unrestricted.
- 13:39Speaker 2: If he just kept getting headaches because of flying yeah
- 13:44Speaker 2: yeah i mean that's just dumb right i mean it's
- 13:49Speaker 2: not his fault really i mean it just happens someone
- 13:52Speaker 2: someone issues him that gear he didn't meditate.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He didn't say what kind of he didn't measure his
- 13:55Speaker 1: own head was it a fighter pilot Yeah, he's a
- 13:58Speaker 1: fighter pilot.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Oh, fuck.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 2: In India.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Okay, so yeah, the fighter pilot helmets have a lot
- 14:03Speaker 4: more shit on them than regular pilots do.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Like C-130 pilots and shit. There's a lot more gear
- 14:09Speaker 1: in there. Okay.
- 14:10Speaker 4: And the new hybrid systems we have have integrated helmets
- 14:13Speaker 4: to the aircraft. So, say there's an enemy over here,
- 14:18Speaker 4: I can go like this and target it by looking.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And shit like that. You can look down.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Instead of seeing, like, your lap and your legs, you'd
- 14:25Speaker 4: see underneath your aircraft. There's cameras underneath. You can see
- 14:27Speaker 4: the ground you could target by looking at shit.
- 14:29Speaker 2: That would freak me the fuck out.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's only when you want it to do it.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I mean, jeez.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It's like the invisible jet. That's why most pilots are psychos. Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I think I'd be freaked the fuck out just being
- 14:41Speaker 2: in that fucking jet.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:42Speaker 4: There's a lot of gear, and then you've got the
- 14:44Speaker 4: oxygen shit attached, so it's pushing your face down.
- 14:46Speaker 1: So I get it. So that's even worse than regular.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So, yeah, fuck that. The good thing is he gets
- 14:52Speaker 1: direct oxygen to his brain constantly. So that's good.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Yay.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Oxygen is good for you.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah. So neat. Yeah. Neat.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I'm glad you figured out how to not get migraines.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Tell me how to do it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: All right. Let's move on to our second our second
- 15:11Speaker 2: news story. Stop having Augie squeeze your head.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I can't. It feels good.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Our second news story. Dog wins Animal of the Year
- 15:20Speaker 2: Award for hunting sea vomit.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Every year, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, or one
- 15:31Speaker 2: of the worst acronyms in the world, IFAW. I fought
- 15:37Speaker 2: with my fiend eyes. It's almost making fun of people
- 15:43Speaker 2: with a lisp.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that's kind of fucked up, guys. That's wrong. That's
- 15:47Speaker 4: not in the world community.
- 15:48Speaker 2: International Fund for Animal Welfare. There must be a way
- 15:51Speaker 2: to work that.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Put a hyphen in there?
- 15:56Speaker 2: Animal Welfare International Fund becomes AWIF.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that'd be better.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That's a whiff.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Anyway, neither here nor there.
- 16:05Speaker 3: International Society of Animal Warfare.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I saw.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I saw. Yeah, do that.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Just I saw.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Just turn it into an S.
- 16:15Speaker 2: They recognize those who have made significant contributions to nature
- 16:17Speaker 2: conservation and protecting the vulnerable animals among us.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Aww.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And among those prizes is the Animal of the Year Award.
- 16:25Speaker 2: It goes to an animal that's been a great help
- 16:27Speaker 2: to his fellow four-legged friends. And this year's award went to,
- 16:33Speaker 2: and I don't know if I'm saying this right, a Skiath.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Oh.
- 16:37Speaker 2: A laboratory retriever. It's spelled S-G-I-A-T-H. It's a Scottish name.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Skiath?
- 16:43Speaker 2: So probably not Skiath.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Skiath. Skiath. Skiath. Skiath. Skiath.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Skiath. Skiath.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Skiath.
- 16:53Speaker 2: She's from Scotland, and this good girl carries out a
- 16:57Speaker 2: crucially important job. She hunts sea vomit. And what do
- 17:04Speaker 2: we mean by that? So this is gelatinous stuff.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:08Speaker 2: It's not technically vomit, but apparently people call it vomit.
- 17:13Speaker 2: It's actually an extremely invasive species of sea squirt.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Oh, that's... Sea squirt? Oh, I thought it was.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's almost worse, really.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Sea squirt is worse. Yeah, calling it vomit makes me
- 17:24Speaker 1: think whale ambergris. Yes, I was thinking that. Yeah, that's
- 17:28Speaker 1: way too... You don't want to get some sea squirt
- 17:29Speaker 1: on you. But these... I don't want to go in
- 17:32Speaker 1: the sea.
- 17:33Speaker 2: This sea vomit stuff can form impenetrable choking masses along shores,
- 17:37Speaker 2: in harbors, and on ships.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Oh.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And Skaith. And ships?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yes. And Skaith is able to sniff out this stuff,
- 17:45Speaker 2: even when it's hiding under other smelly marine debris.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Holy fuck.
- 17:50Speaker 2: And that's impressive, especially when you consider that she was
- 17:53Speaker 2: originally trained to search for lost hikers. She somehow got
- 17:57Speaker 2: turned onto this instead.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 17:59Speaker 2: But congratulations to her. May she continue to serve with
- 18:02Speaker 2: distinction for years to come.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 18:04Speaker 2: She's this beautiful, almost perfectly black dog. Um, she's six
- 18:09Speaker 2: years old.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Aw.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Um, and yeah, and she's, she's apparently been searching for, um,
- 18:17Speaker 2: for sea vomit for some time. Um, she's owned by
- 18:22Speaker 2: a Marine ecologist who's been looking to protect Scotland's coasts
- 18:26Speaker 2: from invasive species. Um, and, uh, She thought of, like,
- 18:34Speaker 2: how do I find this stuff? And she thought of
- 18:36Speaker 2: a scent-detecting dog, but this idea had never been tested before.
- 18:42Speaker 2: So this doctor hired Skaith and discovered that her idea
- 18:46Speaker 2: was fantastic. That's crazy. Because Skaith proved to be an
- 18:50Speaker 2: expert almost immediately.
- 18:52Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Like, she went straight to it. She can find the
- 18:56Speaker 2: seed vomit underneath thick layers of tidal debris. And if
- 19:00Speaker 2: you ever caught a whiff of half-rotten seaweed and fish,
- 19:04Speaker 2: you'll appreciate how impressive that is.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we live near one of those lakes.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but this sea vomit stuff is bad news wherever
- 19:11Speaker 2: it shows up.
- 19:12Speaker 1: That's fucking crazy.
- 19:13Speaker 2: It looks like pancake batter. It's honestly disgusting. I kind
- 19:17Speaker 2: of wish I hadn't seen it. Because it does look,
- 19:20Speaker 2: it does resemble puke.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So it's like, eww.
- 19:24Speaker 2: However, they originated in Japan and they've spread across the
- 19:27Speaker 2: globe and they just hitch rides on ships.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I mean, it makes sense. That's fucked up.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Fucking sea squirts. They can grow on any hard surface,
- 19:37Speaker 2: and they're prolific breeders.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Any hard surface?
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and should they become entrenched in an area, they'll
- 19:42Speaker 2: spread across the seafloor and onto land in tidal areas. Oh, Jesus.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Flamethrowers?
- 19:49Speaker 2: When they do so, they choke out all native life
- 19:51Speaker 2: underneath them and threatens local ecosystems.
- 19:54Speaker 5: So, yeah.
- 19:55Speaker 2: This is very, very bad stuff.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Bleach and flamethrowers. Bleach and flamethrowers. Yeah. I don't know
- 20:00Speaker 1: how they get rid of it, but it's... Fucking kill
- 20:02Speaker 1: it with fire.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Very interesting stuff.
- 20:04Speaker 1: They get rid of everything. Yeah.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Except for more fire. Except for more fire. We've tried that.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It didn't work.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah, more fire was not.
- 20:12Speaker 1: If.
- 20:12Speaker 3: It's only on the surface, then they could just scoop
- 20:15Speaker 3: it up.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They could just.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Remove it from the surface.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Throw it in the furnace with Freddy Krueger. It's Halloween time. Yeah, no,
- 20:25Speaker 1: that's fair.
- 20:25Speaker 2: That's entirely fair. Any other comments?
- 20:29Speaker 1: No. No more sea squirts.
- 20:31Speaker 2: All right. No more sea squirts.
- 20:32Speaker 1: It also sounds like you have, like, a diarrhea problem. Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It sounds more like diarrhea than vomit, doesn't it?
- 20:37Speaker 3: After a fish Friday.
- 20:38Speaker 1: This dog's been following you because you have sea squirts.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus Christ. All right. Let's move on very quickly.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Story number three. A college professor charged with a series
- 20:49Speaker 2: of pee crimes... from pudipi yep um so uh to
- 20:54Speaker 2: no one's great surprise this professor is no longer employed
- 20:57Speaker 2: by the um so uh when something outrageous and weird
- 21:03Speaker 2: would happen to you in college you would not be
- 21:04Speaker 2: out of the realm of expectation say oh i've just
- 21:07Speaker 2: been horrifically pranked by some some guy in a toga
- 21:11Speaker 2: oh yeah some fraternity boy doing some stupid shit right
- 21:14Speaker 2: um this case however proves that Even college professors aren't
- 21:18Speaker 2: above getting extremely freaky.
- 21:20Speaker 1: But what if he's a brother?
- 21:21Speaker 2: He's a professor at a Minnesota university, and he's now
- 21:26Speaker 2: facing felony charges. He is accused of pouring his urine
- 21:32Speaker 2: onto people's belongings.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Oh, Minnesota. Repeatedly. Minnesota.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Come on. I love how the entire state of Minnesota.
- 21:42Speaker 2: You just instantly and quickly blame the entire state.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Well, look at him. It's Minnesota. Wow. Wow.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Goodbye, our former fans of Minnesota.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Isn't he in Minnesota? Oh, it's Missouri. I don't know.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't know where the fuck he is. Oh, my God.
- 22:01Speaker 1: So all of this. You want to travel?
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not going to be allowed anywhere.
- 22:06Speaker 2: All of this came to light after a student who
- 22:09Speaker 2: left her backpack alone for just a few minutes came
- 22:12Speaker 2: back to find it soaked in pee.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Oh.
- 22:19Speaker 2: An investigation quickly revealed that it was likely to be
- 22:22Speaker 2: this professor. An investigation?
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Who peed on that? Don't make me collect a sample
- 22:29Speaker 1: from each.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Of you and do a sniff test. So here's how
- 22:34Speaker 2: this went down, and I'm so sorry in advance.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Oh God, no.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Apparently the professor had developed a habit of relieving himself
- 22:42Speaker 2: in single-use containers.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:45Speaker 2: And then for reasons that No one has been able
- 22:48Speaker 2: to explain. He then took to emptying those containers in
- 22:52Speaker 2: random places, including people's unattended water bottles. Okay.
- 22:57Speaker 1: That's fucking gross.
- 23:00Speaker 2: And apparently this last one was a backpack with the
- 23:04Speaker 2: students' belongings in it, including.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Books and a laptop. Oh, shit. Oh, fuck.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yeah, this was December 5th, 2025.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 23:20Speaker 2: She spoke to police that she'd gone into the science
- 23:23Speaker 2: center to work on a study project. This is at
- 23:25Speaker 2: Macalester College in St. Paul.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Minnesota.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He'd been a biology professor for 25 years without a
- 23:32Speaker 2: single complaint against him. She left her backpack for no
- 23:38Speaker 2: more than six minutes.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And when she came back, He's a quack.
- 23:41Speaker 2: When she came back, the bag was wet and whatever
- 23:45Speaker 2: it was, it had soaked into the contents as well.
- 23:49Speaker 2: And it ruined about $ 2, 000 worth of stuff.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Oh, fuck. Yeah.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Including the bag.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Six minutes.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I almost feel bad, but I don't.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I almost felt targeted, too, a little bit. At first,
- 24:06Speaker 4: I was like, oh, it's a compulsion because he had
- 24:07Speaker 4: to pee in containers. Maybe he was like a Indiana
- 24:10Speaker 4: Jones type and he didn't have a bathroom. So he
- 24:12Speaker 4: always like peed in Tupperware after he was done eating.
- 24:15Speaker 4: And then he just had to get rid of it,
- 24:16Speaker 4: but you can throw it in the desert floor. Nobody
- 24:17Speaker 4: gave a shit. Now, here, though, because he's not Indiana
- 24:20Speaker 4: Jones here, he's just a regular professor, he's like, oh, no,
- 24:23Speaker 4: I got used to.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Peeing in containers. What do I put in there? Well,
- 24:26Speaker 1: he's obviously not, is he?
- 24:27Speaker 2: He wasn't Indiana Jones there, either.
- 24:30Speaker 1: We don't know that.
- 24:31Speaker 7: I do.
- 24:32Speaker 4: But, like, at first it started as, oh, I feel bad,
- 24:34Speaker 4: this guy might have a compulsion issue or, like, a
- 24:37Speaker 4: hoarding thing, because I know hoarders do that.
- 24:38Speaker 3: How many fucking times did he dump $ 1?
- 24:40Speaker 1: But now I'm just like, you did it on... Water
- 24:43Speaker 1: bottles and this.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Macalester College's inquest revealed at least five similar cases involving
- 24:50Speaker 2: spilled urine.
- 24:51Speaker 1: It was arrested.
- 24:53Speaker 2: The objects were not limited to bags. Someone had dumped
- 24:57Speaker 2: urine in trash cans. Inside decorations that were handed to
- 25:01Speaker 2: school staff.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Okay, you're right. All gets targeted.
- 25:04Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And water bottles.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Oh, that bitch, she hates me. I'm going to pee
- 25:09Speaker 1: all over her flowers.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I just hope that the people whose water bottles were
- 25:18Speaker 2: tainted discovered the taint before they took a sip.
- 25:21Speaker 1: It smelled like taint. All right.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Again, I am so sorry.
- 25:30Speaker 1: What a great episode.
- 25:33Speaker 2: We have the.
- 25:35Speaker 1: You're just like, let's get the pitch, man.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Let's skip past this.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Who cares about points?
- 25:40Speaker 2: Our first story, the Air Force pilot whose migraines are
- 25:43Speaker 2: caused by his helmet being too tight. The dog who
- 25:45Speaker 2: won an Animal of the Year award for finding sea vomit.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And finally, the college professor charged with a series of
- 25:51Speaker 2: pee crimes. Um, I can't remember which one of you
- 25:55Speaker 2: won the last game.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I can't remember which one we were doing. Is this, like,
- 25:59Speaker 1: is this, like, share block, or is this, have I
- 26:00Speaker 1: got good news for you? This is, uh, have I
- 26:01Speaker 1: got good news for you? Oh.
- 26:03Speaker 2: We're looking for the best one.
- 26:04Speaker 1: The best one. That explains everything.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Augie, I'm gonna let you go first.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Yay. Um. Don't choose mine, Augie.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I think of all of them, it's probably the dog
- 26:14Speaker 3: sniffing out the, the, the vomit, because it's actually, uh,
- 26:19Speaker 3: helpful towards the ecosystem.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Um.
- 26:21Speaker 3: That's unfortunately getting devastated by us.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Invasive species. Not us in particular. We're not helping.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Obviously not. Our migration across the world definitely fucked up
- 26:35Speaker 3: a lot of things with us bringing a lot of
- 26:36Speaker 3: things that should not have gone with.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Take Australia, for instance. And people are still doing it.
- 26:43Speaker 3: That is the problem. We're still fucking doing it. And
- 26:45Speaker 3: some people are doing it deliberately. It sucks the most.
- 26:48Speaker 3: But yeah, I think that's the best of the worst.
- 26:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:54Speaker 2: CB, which one of the other two would you like
- 26:56Speaker 2: to select?
- 26:57Speaker 1: I was going to go with the P thing. Really? Well,
- 27:01Speaker 1: because he got charged. Yeah, he did. So it's good news.
- 27:03Speaker 1: He got charged.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he got charged and fired.
- 27:05Speaker 1: See? So that's good. But then Air Force pilot and
- 27:09Speaker 1: I have migraines, and I feel that.
- 27:10Speaker 4: But at the same time, it's because he didn't fucking
- 27:12Speaker 4: take his helmet off or get a resize.
- 27:14Speaker 1: So it's on him. Fucking pilots, man. I swear to God.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Fucking pilots.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I'm going with the professor. Because he got caught and
- 27:20Speaker 4: charged and he's no longer there. Minnesota do better. It
- 27:25Speaker 4: was Minnesota, right?
- 27:27Speaker 1: It was Minnesota. Yeah, Minnesota. Okay.
- 27:30Speaker 2: So, yeah. Feel free to blame the entire state of Minnesota.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Going to until they correct their issue. Oh, they did.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Okay.
- 27:35Speaker 1: You're safe now.
- 27:36Speaker 2: They arrested him.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I don't know what to do.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Never mind. You guys are good.
- 27:40Speaker 2: You guys are good. Never mind. All right. Well, the
- 27:42Speaker 2: fact of the matter is it doesn't matter. Augie already
- 27:44Speaker 2: had it right. It was the dog winning the award
- 27:47Speaker 2: for unding Z-vomit.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Good job, puppy.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's such a good dog.
- 27:52Speaker 1: It is.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Such a good dog. I love when dogs are, you know,
- 27:58Speaker 2: like performing a service and stuff and like actually doing
- 28:01Speaker 2: it right. And, you know, it's just they're such intelligent animals.
- 28:07Speaker 1: They're amazing.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Dogs are incredible. I love dogs. So this was even
- 28:12Speaker 2: though like the thing was disgusting, I still like overlooked that.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I'm like, it's still a good story. It's a very
- 28:17Speaker 2: good dog and it's a very good story. Um, although
- 28:20Speaker 2: I very nearly went with the dude with the migraines
- 28:22Speaker 2: because I too suffered from migraines for a long time.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:25Speaker 2: They've, they've only just gotten better in like the past
- 28:28Speaker 2: several years that I've started to wear like, you know,
- 28:30Speaker 2: breathe strips and stuff that helped me breathe better at night.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Which I think was indeed the cause of my migraines
- 28:35Speaker 2: is just not enough oxygen.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Did you ever think of CPAP?
- 28:38Speaker 2: I did, and I couldn't sleep wearing it.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah, me neither. I threw it, both of them.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I couldn't. I literally couldn't.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Every mask can't do this shit.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I tried. The one night I literally just sat there
- 28:49Speaker 2: awake all night just as the thing just kept going.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Just trying.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Just trying desperately to get to sleep, and I couldn't.
- 28:55Speaker 2: And then a second night, I'm like, maybe this night
- 28:57Speaker 2: because I'm so exhausted and I haven't slept in like
- 28:59Speaker 2: 48 hours. Maybe now I'll go down. And I started
- 29:02Speaker 2: to lay there, and I'm like, nope, fuck this. Wilted off.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I tried a couple times after that, and I could
- 29:08Speaker 2: not for the life of me get to sleep with
- 29:09Speaker 2: the damn thing on. So I said, fuck this. I'm
- 29:12Speaker 2: just going to.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Find an alternative.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And so far, honestly, breathe strips have been doing it.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Breathing works.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah, like, it just, it literally forced open my nose
- 29:22Speaker 2: nasal passages.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I used those things when I was sick, yeah.
- 29:24Speaker 2: They're awesome. It does, it fucking works. Especially if you
- 29:27Speaker 2: use it every day, because I think it actually starts to, like,
- 29:30Speaker 2: actually physically move.
- 29:31Speaker 1: You can't really charge it.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it starts to, yeah, it literally opens it up, so.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Or tampons. Right up each one.
- 29:37Speaker 2: But then you can't breathe while you've got the tampons in.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's why I'm snoring so much.
- 29:41Speaker 2: There you go. Okay, we're going to move on to
- 29:44Speaker 2: game two when we come back right after this. Bow, bow, mailbag.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Bow, bow, bow.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, what's it got to be? Bow, bow, bow, mailbag.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Bow, bow, bow. Getting them letters. Hey, man.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Welcome to the mailbag. We've got a short one for you.
- 30:11Speaker 2: We've just got one comment for you. It's from show
- 30:14Speaker 2: number 342, Moose, Caws, and Claws.
- 30:17Speaker 1: This is the one on Jabbo.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, this is the one on Jabbo.
- 30:21Speaker 1: And Bill M.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Says, so he was smuggling a cockatoo. Ha, ha, ha.
- 30:29Speaker 2: This is about the guy who had birds down his pants. Yes,
- 30:33Speaker 2: I remember now.
- 30:33Speaker 1: The Florida guy. Florida man. A cockatoo and a couple
- 30:38Speaker 1: of boobies.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yes, yes. Some tits. Some great tits. Some lesser tits.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I want to play this game. Pigeon.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Butthole.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Butthole.
- 30:57Speaker 1: This is not how you play. Sorry, buddy. Sorry, buddy.
- 31:00Speaker 2: That's okay. We got all the dirty ones.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Fair.
- 31:03Speaker 3: No, there's another one. I just can't remember. It's something
- 31:05Speaker 3: to do with throat, and I can't remember what it is.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Deep throat. Something throated. Tit cock. Tit mouse. There's tit mouse.
- 31:13Speaker 1: There's tits. There you go.
- 31:14Speaker 2: But that's a.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Boob.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Tit mouse?
- 31:16Speaker 1: No, that's a bird. Is it?
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Okay. It's a smaller, like, fish. And its nickname is
- 31:20Speaker 1: a tit, if you go on Instagram. Or not Instagram. Yeah, actually,
- 31:23Speaker 1: you go on Instagram and look up tits.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what they are.
- 31:26Speaker 1: You'll see little birds. Yeah, titmouses. Just go to Instagram
- 31:28Speaker 1: and look up tits. T-I-T-S, but lowercase. Don't look it up, barcase.
- 31:32Speaker 1: It'll take you to a different type of tits.
- 31:34Speaker 3: And make sure you type in blue-footed boobies, not just boobies.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Otherwise, you'll just get boobies. Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 2: And then there's the great horned cunt thunder.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Is that Magnus Cockthunder's mate?
- 31:47Speaker 7: No.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Oh.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Let's move on. That's it for the mailbag. Let's get
- 31:53Speaker 2: back to the show. Hey there.
- 32:00Speaker 8: I'm Dave, the host of Beer in Front. Sometimes the
- 32:04Speaker 8: beer in front of you is the best one yet.
- 32:07Speaker 8: I'll talk about some old school beers that maybe you've
- 32:11Speaker 8: forgotten about. Some new beers that have the potential to
- 32:14Speaker 8: be a classic. I'll also talk to various people around
- 32:18Speaker 8: the beer world and get their stories all about beer.
- 32:23Speaker 8: That's Beer in Front, and it's available on all of
- 32:26Speaker 8: your favorite podcast apps.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Hey, if you're in the western New York area and
- 32:37Speaker 4: you are a fan of the green, head on over
- 32:40Speaker 4: to Peace, Love & Bud at 320 Self Transit Road
- 32:43Speaker 4: in Lockport, New York. Tell them BFYTW sent you. Maybe
- 32:47Speaker 4: they'll hook you up.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Hey, man.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Welcome back. It's time for game two. Game two is
- 33:01Speaker 2: going to be pitch me, baby, one more time. I've
- 33:05Speaker 2: got a particular pitch that I want to be made.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Our players are going to make their best pitch that
- 33:10Speaker 2: they can. Whichever pitch I like better will win the
- 33:13Speaker 2: game and earn two episode points. For this pitch being... Guys,
- 33:16Speaker 2: I've got a dilemma.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Yeah. No, no.
- 33:18Speaker 2: See, I like trivia games. I really do. My friends
- 33:22Speaker 2: almost universally hate them. I have a feeling you guys
- 33:25Speaker 2: just kind of tolerate them for the sake of the show.
- 33:29Speaker 2: And for me, the tip of the iceberg is every
- 33:33Speaker 2: time I ask Magnus Cockthunder to play a trivia game,
- 33:37Speaker 2: he hates it. He can't stand it. So... I am
- 33:42Speaker 2: looking for ideas.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:44Speaker 2: What do you think would make a fun trivia game
- 33:47Speaker 2: for our friend group? For the first time in quite
- 33:50Speaker 2: some time, I'm not asking you to pitch me something
- 33:51Speaker 2: that's going to make a ton of money. I want
- 33:54Speaker 2: you to specifically tailor your pitch to us and our friends.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And this includes our podcasting friends.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 34:02Speaker 2: So just about anything goes. You can pitch me a
- 34:06Speaker 2: game to play, a game show that we could do
- 34:08Speaker 2: our own version of. whatever trivia categories you want or
- 34:13Speaker 2: you think would be fun, whatever prizes you think we
- 34:16Speaker 2: could get away with, and any other game accoutrements that
- 34:21Speaker 2: you can think of. Whoever gives me the best pitch
- 34:25Speaker 2: wins and gets two episode points, but what's more, if
- 34:29Speaker 2: I really, really like the pitch, it might actually wind
- 34:32Speaker 2: up being a future episode of the show.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 34:36Speaker 2: So, that having been said, Augie won the last game. So, Stevie,
- 34:39Speaker 2: you get the choice. Do you want to go first
- 34:41Speaker 2: or do you want to go second?
- 34:42Speaker 1: I think I'm going to go first. Okay. I think
- 34:45Speaker 1: I am. All right.
- 34:46Speaker 2: In that case, I am ready to hear it. Are
- 34:48Speaker 2: you ready to say it? Stevie, pitch me.
- 34:52Speaker 4: I'm so nervous now.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I peed myself.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Don't be scared.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I got to pee in a Tupperware container. No.
- 34:59Speaker 4: No.
- 34:59Speaker 1: No. No.
- 35:03Speaker 2: We'll stop the show. You go upstairs and do it
- 35:05Speaker 2: like a good boy.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm not a good boy.
- 35:07Speaker 2: You are a good boy.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I am a good boy.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Let me put it this way.
- 35:11Speaker 1: You will be a good boy. I will be a
- 35:13Speaker 1: good boy.
- 35:13Speaker 2: If I even smell pee, I'm fucking out of here.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I hit the urine and I'm gone.
- 35:21Speaker 2: That's all it takes.
- 35:23Speaker 1: This is no longer a show. It's just normal talk.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Fucking pitch me out.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Okay, sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 35:29Speaker 4: My pitch for our new trivia game show, Know Thine Enemy.
- 35:34Speaker 4: That's the name of it.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Ooh. Yeah.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:36Speaker 1: That's all I got. No, I'm joking. I got them.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I won.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Okay, so it is a podium-style trivia game. So it's one-on-one,
- 35:45Speaker 4: pretty much, with obviously a host is going to be there.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Okay. Now, normally, if available, I know his schedule is
- 35:51Speaker 1: fucking ape shit and stuff, I would have the.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Two-time, hopefully, novelist winner Aaron Randolph as the host.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Novelist winner?
- 36:03Speaker 1: I don't know what book awards are, dude. I don't
- 36:06Speaker 1: do book awards.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Winner of novels. Yeah. He won writing.
- 36:11Speaker 1: He won the writing thing.
- 36:14Speaker 4: If we did have money, though, I would 100% go
- 36:16Speaker 4: with a British host, a British comedian host.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Obviously, like Alex Horn or Jimmy Carr. Jimmy Carr. Yeah,
- 36:21Speaker 4: because I want intermittent. And this can still happen with you.
- 36:24Speaker 4: I want intermittent shots at the contestants, which come off
- 36:28Speaker 4: almost like it's a compliment, but really not. The back-footed compliment.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Backhanded.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Oh, I always got kicked. I never got slapped.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Back-footed.
- 36:38Speaker 1: So that's pretty sure that's how you break your foot.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Is that how? Yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 36:42Speaker 4: So there's going to be three main rounds. Um, the, the,
- 36:47Speaker 4: the first round is who are you? And it's a
- 36:50Speaker 4: simple trivia about the other person's lives. So you had
- 36:55Speaker 4: to know stuff about your opponent.
- 36:56Speaker 2: That's fascinating.
- 36:57Speaker 1: The first round is multiple choice. So it's not crazy.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Like you, you still have a chance, even if you
- 37:01Speaker 4: don't really know too much about them. Um, the, uh,
- 37:06Speaker 4: round B, uh, is why are you? And these are
- 37:09Speaker 4: trivia questions of why they are here. What's their motivations
- 37:13Speaker 4: pretty much? So if you have somebody who's big into
- 37:17Speaker 4: programming or something, it'd be things based on that type
- 37:21Speaker 4: of category. It's a category of their interests pretty much
- 37:24Speaker 4: more than them. And then C3, that round, it's going
- 37:32Speaker 4: to be what are you? And these are going to
- 37:34Speaker 4: be just three questions with a physical challenge type thing
- 37:37Speaker 4: at the end, a la The Cube. And it's going
- 37:41Speaker 4: to be something like, if you get all three of
- 37:44Speaker 4: the questions right, you get three ping pong balls to use.
- 37:46Speaker 4: If you only get one, you get one to use
- 37:48Speaker 4: type of thing for the very end of it. And
- 37:53Speaker 4: the bonus round for whoever does win at the end
- 37:55Speaker 4: of that gets to go on to a final round,
- 37:57Speaker 4: which is an ultimate question, and it's going to be
- 38:00Speaker 4: about the host.
- 38:01Speaker 5: And then.
- 38:03Speaker 1: If you do win that, you get 10 times the
- 38:05Speaker 1: amount of peanuts.
- 38:07Speaker 5: Yes.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Fucking, no joke, fucking peanuts. Or we can do bags
- 38:11Speaker 1: of dicks or glitter. I, yeah. No. I don't know.
- 38:14Speaker 4: The prize is the only thing I was fucking around with,
- 38:16Speaker 4: but I think peanuts would be fun. Because, yeah, you're
- 38:19Speaker 4: going to win 10 times the peanuts and you need
- 38:21Speaker 4: to win. It's like, no, here's your fucking five pound
- 38:22Speaker 4: bag of peanuts.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Bix, get out. Like, it'd be funny.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I think you've done extraordinary work here. I think this
- 38:27Speaker 2: is an excellent pitch.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 38:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 2: I really do. It's a fascinating idea that I don't
- 38:33Speaker 2: think has ever been done before. There have been game
- 38:35Speaker 2: shows where you had to answer questions about yourself.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:38Speaker 2: And your own life. One particular that comes to mind
- 38:40Speaker 2: is Amnesia. Yeah. Which was fascinating, but I don't think I've.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Ever actually seen it. And the Newlywed.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Or not the Newlywed, but the couples thing was always the...
- 38:48Speaker 4: Newlywed was about your partner.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And you can even do a team game, like a
- 38:52Speaker 1: tag team of this if you wanted. Two teams against
- 38:54Speaker 1: each other.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I think it's genius to have a trivia game where
- 38:58Speaker 2: the whole point is what do you know about your opponent? Like,
- 39:01Speaker 2: that's fascinating, but also kind of like.
- 39:05Speaker 2: It would be interesting to see this as a real show,
- 39:08Speaker 2: because by the time it's all over, would you not almost,
- 39:13Speaker 2: by definition, be friends with this person? Because you know
- 39:16Speaker 2: so much about them.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Or you know so much about your enemy. Wouldn't you
- 39:19Speaker 1: want to be friends with them? It would be a
- 39:21Speaker 1: serious type of thing. That's how I would do it.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Because you'd have to know.
- 39:24Speaker 4: You'd have to get a bunch of questions and stuff
- 39:26Speaker 4: through the people first.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I kind of want to mess with this and
- 39:30Speaker 2: build on this idea. All right, two people.
- 39:32Speaker 1: All right, come on.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I think the games that you've pitched are not the strongest,
- 39:37Speaker 2: but I think the initial concept is so good that
- 39:40Speaker 2: I definitely think it could be a thing. And I'm
- 39:42Speaker 2: excited to play with it in my own head.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And see what I come up with. Well, go for it.
- 39:45Speaker 2: But, I mean.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Fucking bravo. Good start.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 39:51Speaker 2: You have to beat that, sir.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Great.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Can you? I don't know. Pitch me.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Well, logistically, let's see how this works. I would say
- 40:03Speaker 3: that for the first time ever, we should maybe not
- 40:07Speaker 3: steal from the British. Instead, steal from ourselves, Aaron. I'm
- 40:11Speaker 3: pitching that we do our version of the idiot test.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Oh okay it.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Would be a mostly a patreon exclusive because it would
- 40:24Speaker 3: require some visual elements but it would be something i
- 40:26Speaker 3: think we would absolutely love to do taking otherwise obvious
- 40:33Speaker 3: images but getting not so obvious answers um and i
- 40:38Speaker 3: think that would.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Work really well um.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Again, logistically, it would be trying to figure out how
- 40:44Speaker 3: to get it to work.
- 40:45Speaker 1: But, you know, there's always.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Photoshop and there's always other things we could do. Having
- 40:51Speaker 3: someone select, like, and I think on the show, they
- 40:55Speaker 3: had like a giant screen in front of them. And
- 40:58Speaker 3: in their thing, they were able to kind of like
- 40:59Speaker 3: touch it. And then whoever was producing or whatever kind
- 41:02Speaker 3: of got the idea or they would say, tell them like, OK,
- 41:07Speaker 3: what were you trying to select?
- 41:08Speaker 1: And then they would highlight it kind of thing.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Same idea.
- 41:12Speaker 1: We could do that as well.
- 41:14Speaker 3: And instead of calling it the idiot test, you can
- 41:16Speaker 3: call it like the stoner quiz or the.
- 41:22Speaker 1: How high are you? That's a good one.
- 41:27Speaker 5: How high are you?
- 41:28Speaker 2: How high are you?
- 41:31Speaker 1: How high are you? Is it U-Y-O-U or just the
- 41:35Speaker 1: letter U? Hmm.
- 41:37Speaker 2: And the word R is just the letter R.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Well, that's how my shit was. That's why I'm wondering.
- 41:41Speaker 1: When I did all my rounds, like, why are you?
- 41:43Speaker 1: What are you? Yeah, you could probably do it that way.
- 41:45Speaker 3: We'd have to workshop the actual, like, you know, words
- 41:49Speaker 3: for it.
- 41:49Speaker 1: But I think that would be pretty fun. Yeah, I agree.
- 41:51Speaker 3: And I think that would fit pretty well in with
- 41:54Speaker 3: our style of play, too. Because it's basically about making
- 41:58Speaker 3: the contestant look like an idiot.
- 41:59Speaker 2: But not.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Because the less obvious answer is the correct one.
- 42:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I liked it a lot. That would be fun.
- 42:07Speaker 2: That would be fun to do.
- 42:09Speaker 1: And I could see you. We could do it.
- 42:11Speaker 2: I am, however, going to award this game to Stevie.
- 42:14Speaker 2: I think Stevie's pitch was so strong. Also, the title
- 42:18Speaker 2: is perfect. Know Your Enemy.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Know Thy Enemy. Either way. Know Your Enemy, Know Thy Enemy.
- 42:24Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. Either way, it's fantastic. What a great
- 42:29Speaker 2: fucking title for this game. And yeah, that would be a.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Lot of fun.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Here's what I'm envisioning for an episode of a podcast.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Is we do like... is we do like you versus
- 42:41Speaker 2: a guest. We can't do you, the two of you together.
- 42:44Speaker 2: It would just never work. You guys know so much
- 42:46Speaker 2: about each other at this point. But we could get
- 42:48Speaker 2: like one of you and a guest that we have
- 42:50Speaker 2: on infrequently or even frequently, I think could still work.
- 42:54Speaker 2: But I asked them for like, you know, some details
- 42:58Speaker 2: about their lives, some things that they may not have
- 43:01Speaker 2: necessarily shared with you, like their favorite music, their favorite movies,
- 43:04Speaker 2: their favorite TV shows, their favorite video, like all that stuff. And,
- 43:07Speaker 2: you know, we could easily do, like, three rounds of
- 43:09Speaker 2: stuff just kind of like you said, but maybe a
- 43:12Speaker 2: different format.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Well, yeah, like a multiple choice could be one of
- 43:15Speaker 1: the things.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah, first round should be like a multiple choice kind
- 43:17Speaker 2: of faster trivia. And I think the second round should
- 43:19Speaker 2: very much like the wrong show be a list thing. Instead,
- 43:23Speaker 2: they can fill in the list.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Which would be great. I think that would actually filling
- 43:27Speaker 1: in a list would be wonderful.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I think it would be like, you know, what are
- 43:30Speaker 2: this person's top 10 movies, top 10 TV shows, all
- 43:32Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 43:33Speaker 1: See how many you can get.
- 43:34Speaker 2: And see how many you can get within 10 guesses.
- 43:36Speaker 1: That'd be fucking, I like that.
- 43:37Speaker 2: You know, something like that would be very cool. Yeah, no,
- 43:43Speaker 2: I think it's absolutely something we're doing. The idiot test
- 43:45Speaker 2: would be a lot of fun. It would also be
- 43:46Speaker 2: a lot of effort. I do not want to be
- 43:48Speaker 2: the person putting together those images.
- 43:50Speaker 1: It would be, it.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Would be one of those, like, yeah, one of those.
- 43:54Speaker 1: We have guests. We're not, we're just producing. That'd be like, yeah,
- 43:57Speaker 1: that would basically be like the circle. We're planning on
- 44:00Speaker 1: doing this and we're going to have to take like
- 44:01Speaker 1: a couple of months.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it might take some time.
- 44:04Speaker 1: That would be fucking fun. That would be fun.
- 44:07Speaker 2: But yeah, if either of you guys wanted to put
- 44:09Speaker 2: that together and actually like make that happen.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I actually have an idea.
- 44:14Speaker 3: It would work best in studio, but we could probably
- 44:17Speaker 3: do it over online too.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because we can share our screen and show them
- 44:20Speaker 2: the image or the video.
- 44:21Speaker 1: They would just have to tell us what they're pointing at.
- 44:23Speaker 1: That's what we're doing. We're doing the idiot test, but
- 44:24Speaker 1: it's where's Waldo.
- 44:26Speaker 4: I'll just put a Giant Wars Waldo thing up and
- 44:28Speaker 4: I'll have the key so I'll know you get 10
- 44:30Speaker 4: seconds to find him.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Or you gotta find his cane. Or some shit like that.
- 44:37Speaker 3: That's essentially what the idiot tests do.
- 44:39Speaker 1: If you get the answer right to this question, you
- 44:41Speaker 1: get an extra 5 seconds. Find it.
- 44:43Speaker 2: We're getting really goofy with it. And I think it
- 44:50Speaker 2: could be really fun, but also kind of difficult if
- 44:52Speaker 2: the final round was.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I was trying to think of something final, and
- 44:56Speaker 1: I couldn't really.
- 44:57Speaker 2: For Know Thyself, I think the final round should be
- 45:00Speaker 2: things they didn't said during the show.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Like an I literally just told.
- 45:06Speaker 1: You sort of thing. Oh, they did that... What game
- 45:08Speaker 1: was that?
- 45:08Speaker 2: I literally just told him.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Oh, is that what it was called? Yeah, that's what
- 45:10Speaker 1: it was called. He literally just told me. So, fuck! Fuck!
- 45:16Speaker 2: You fell for it, unbelievably.
- 45:18Speaker 3: So, in this theoretical, like, basically, Steve and the guest
- 45:21Speaker 3: would be doing the thing.
- 45:22Speaker 9: The third person, whoever's not playing, would be writing down
- 45:27Speaker 9: things that they didn't set during the show, and then,
- 45:29Speaker 9: in the, like, Second break, I would turn those into questions.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yeah. We all take a 15. We walk out.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Anything.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Basically, like, make a rule. Like, anything that's funny, significant, like, interesting, whatever.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Something that the audience would be able to answer if
- 45:43Speaker 1: they were listening to the show.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:45Speaker 1: That's pretty much it. Yeah. Something that, like, genuine.
- 45:48Speaker 2: That would be very cool.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Oh, God. Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Again, both ideas that would require a little bit of production.
- 45:53Speaker 3: One ahead of time, one at the time.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I think, yeah, we can do them both.
- 45:59Speaker 4: And I think Nozai's an enemy.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I think we should do that.
- 46:02Speaker 4: I want to do that live.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I think it's a genius call. I don't think I've
- 46:08Speaker 2: ever heard of a game show like it.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Really? Holy shit, this guy came up with that?
- 46:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you came up with that.
- 46:14Speaker 1: No way I, motherfucker. It's just me.
- 46:16Speaker 2: I don't think, like I said, I think it would
- 46:19Speaker 2: be really interesting to see it done. So I think
- 46:21Speaker 2: we should do it.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Fuck yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:23Speaker 2: And if we get two people who really jive with
- 46:26Speaker 2: each other and it's awesome, that's great. We get two
- 46:28Speaker 2: people who really can't stand each other.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Even better.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Even better. Like they're insulting each other on purpose. Somebody's like,
- 46:37Speaker 2: what are his top 10 movies? Let me think. Mein
- 46:40Speaker 2: Kampf das Boot.
- 46:41Speaker 1: That's great. Book back 20. Nine times.
- 46:46Speaker 2: What's that fucking movie Tom What's-His-Nose did?
- 46:49Speaker 1: The Room. Oh, The Room. He went to the premiere.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I was thinking of Tom Green.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Oh, I don't fucking know.
- 46:58Speaker 2: It was fucked up and not funny.
- 46:59Speaker 3: There's too many of them.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Anyway, you can just pick terrible movies just to fuck
- 47:04Speaker 2: with your opponent.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I think that'd be really funny.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Okay, well, yeah. Thank you for listening to that bit.
- 47:12Speaker 1: We're going to move on to.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Stevie has two points and Augie has one, so it's
- 47:17Speaker 2: all going to be decided by game three when we
- 47:18Speaker 2: come back right after this.
- 47:27Speaker 5: If you're into recreational cannabis and are in Lewiston, New York,
- 47:32Speaker 5: near the Tuscarora Native Reservation, check out Weedstock. These guys
- 47:36Speaker 5: have the prime herb. On top of that, they have concentrates, vapes, edibles,
- 47:41Speaker 5: practically anything you want. So go hit up Weedstock in Lewiston,
- 47:45Speaker 5: New York. Tell them BFYTW sent you.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Hey, welcome back. It's time for game three. Stevie is
- 48:02Speaker 2: technically in the lead two points to one, but this
- 48:04Speaker 2: game is worth three episode points. So whoever wins this
- 48:06Speaker 2: game is going to win the whole shebang. Game three
- 48:09Speaker 2: is going to be Make It Worse.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Oh, shoot.
- 48:12Speaker 2: It's kind of a return, but it's also kind of not,
- 48:15Speaker 2: because we're going to try playing it a little differently
- 48:17Speaker 2: this time. First of all, I told you guys the
- 48:20Speaker 2: targets up front, so both players already know the three
- 48:23Speaker 2: things I'm going to ask them to make worse.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Loosely, yes.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Second of all, you no longer need to escalate worsenings
- 48:30Speaker 2: from thing to thing to thing to thing.
- 48:32Speaker 6: Really?
- 48:32Speaker 1: No longer.
- 48:33Speaker 2: You need to keep getting.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Worse and worse and worse and worse. But.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Instead, it's my favorite worsening will win that particular target.
- 48:43Speaker 1: So we can just keep saying things.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so you guys are going to go back and
- 48:46Speaker 2: forth making it worse, making it worse, making it worse. However,
- 48:49Speaker 2: please note, you still can't copy a previous worsening. No,
- 48:54Speaker 2: that's fair. So if I asked you to make Skittles
- 48:59Speaker 2: worse and somebody said they're all brown... And then somebody said, no,
- 49:03Speaker 2: they're all plaid.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a copy.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Because you're basically doing the exact same thing, just trying
- 49:09Speaker 2: to iterate on top of it, which is not fair.
- 49:14Speaker 2: So you can't copy a previous worsening, and you still
- 49:17Speaker 2: can't go for low-hanging fruit. So you can't... say Skittles
- 49:20Speaker 2: are pedophiles.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Too easy. Look at them. No.
- 49:25Speaker 2: So you still can't... You can't go for the obvious things. Nazis, Hitler, pedophiles...
- 49:33Speaker 2: Nothing too easy. Horrifically easy. What we are always looking
- 49:39Speaker 2: for in this game is creativity. If you can be
- 49:42Speaker 2: creative in how you make it worse, that rocks. So
- 49:46Speaker 2: I am going to be looking for the most creative
- 49:48Speaker 2: or the most funny worsening you guys can put together.
- 49:52Speaker 2: You'll take turns until one of you can't come up
- 49:55Speaker 2: with anything else and then we'll stop. And my favorite
- 49:58Speaker 2: at that point will win that particular target. First player
- 50:02Speaker 2: to win two targets out of three wins the game
- 50:04Speaker 2: and earns three episode points. And we're starting with one
- 50:08Speaker 2: of my favorite candies that I no longer have.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Doesn't it suck?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Because I'm avoiding sugar and there is no good equivalent
- 50:15Speaker 2: for these.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't have sugar for yourself.
- 50:17Speaker 3: M & M' s.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 50:21Speaker 2: How would you make M & M' s worse? Augie, you
- 50:25Speaker 2: lost the last game, so you can choose. Would you
- 50:27Speaker 2: like to go first this time? After you.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Stevie, how would you make M & M' s worse?
- 50:34Speaker 1: Thank you. They do melt in your hand.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Okay. That's pretty good. Augie.
- 50:43Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 50:44Speaker 3: The insides are replaced with discharge.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Okay. What kind of discharge?
- 50:48Speaker 2: I don't even.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I need to know.
- 50:51Speaker 7: Nope.
- 50:51Speaker 1: It could be like a gusher.
- 50:54Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Is it chocolate discharge?
- 50:57Speaker 1: Oh, man. That's a good one, dude. Would you describe
- 51:00Speaker 1: it as chocolate discharge?
- 51:01Speaker 2: That's pretty gross.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Fuck, I was just going to go with fucking the
- 51:04Speaker 1: next one.
- 51:05Speaker 4: I was going to start small still and just say
- 51:06Speaker 4: instead of M & Ms, they're now W-Ws because they're.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Harder to say and shit. Give me a pack of W-W's.
- 51:12Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
- 51:13Speaker 2: That's actually pretty good.
- 51:14Speaker 1: That's actually pretty good. I like that.
- 51:17Speaker 2: That's actually pretty good. All right, we're back to Augie.
- 51:20Speaker 7: Okay.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Ah, shit. That was... Turn aside, where's your E's? No,
- 51:24Speaker 1: they're not.
- 51:25Speaker 2: They're three threes. Go fuck yourself.
- 51:29Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Sorry, I'm having a fucking war in here right now.
- 51:32Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 51:33Speaker 1: That's too fucking funny.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Would you like some three and threes?
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying. Um, they are triple packaged. Oh, it's dirty.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Triple packaged?
- 51:45Speaker 2: So now instead of one bag, there's another bag inside?
- 51:48Speaker 1: No, and then another bag after that. They're like the
- 51:52Speaker 1: Russian nesting dolls.
- 51:54Speaker 2: The Russian nesting dolls.
- 51:55Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
- 51:57Speaker 2: That's pretty good. I like that. Uh, we're back to Stevie.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Shit, this is getting hard, though.
- 52:04Speaker 1: That was so good.
- 52:05Speaker 2: That was so good.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Um... Fuck it. They're the size of Frisbees.
- 52:11Speaker 2: They're the size of Frisbees.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Jesus.
- 52:14Speaker 2: What the fuck, man?
- 52:17Speaker 1: I was going to get one, man. Hey, honey, I
- 52:19Speaker 1: told you I was only going to have one. It's okay.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Jesus, could you even finish one? No.
- 52:25Speaker 1: I mean, I could, but I'm probably not surviving it afterwards.
- 52:27Speaker 2: That's a giant-ass peanut. Okay, Augie.
- 52:32Speaker 1: And finally, they are suppositories. Oh, suppository.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Oh, suppository. Stevie, do you have any left?
- 52:44Speaker 1: Nothing good.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry. It's all trash. It's all stopped.
- 52:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 52:47Speaker 1: It was a pretty good run, though.
- 52:49Speaker 2: It was a good run. There were some really good
- 52:51Speaker 2: ones there, but my favorite was triple packaged.
- 52:53Speaker 1: 100%. That was good. That was fucking funny. Because it
- 52:56Speaker 1: was just a complete fucking waste.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Just pure irritation.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Evil through and through. Audie takes the first one. Stevie,
- 53:05Speaker 1: you need both of these. Oh, God.
- 53:07Speaker 2: All right, but Augie's going to go first this time
- 53:09Speaker 2: as we move on to our second target. Please make
- 53:13Speaker 2: Drew Barrymore worse.
- 53:16Speaker 3: She agrees to do another movie with Adam Sandler, which
- 53:21Speaker 3: is a sequel to 50 First Dates, which is 50
- 53:24Speaker 3: more dates while they're in a nursing home and it's
- 53:27Speaker 3: a parentheses outdated.
- 53:30Speaker 1: That's the worst. Let me rephrase that. Why would she
- 53:33Speaker 1: do that?
- 53:34Speaker 3: She agrees to do a sequel to 50 First Dates
- 53:37Speaker 3: with Adam Sandler called 50 More Dates Outdated.
- 53:43Speaker 1: There you go.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Outdated.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I like it. That's a pitch, actually.
- 53:47Speaker 2: I mean, is it like reversed? Does she now have... No,
- 53:51Speaker 2: it just sucks that.
- 53:52Speaker 1: No, they're just garbage. They're just much older now. He
- 53:54Speaker 1: uses his memory every day.
- 53:56Speaker 4: And he's still putting the fucking videotape in and her
- 53:58Speaker 4: fucking wrinkly hands are all shaking trying to press the button.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Outdated.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I've had kids.
- 54:03Speaker 2: I'm 16.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Well, think about how fucked it would be like almost
- 54:06Speaker 3: like 50 years later and now they're not using VCRs.
- 54:09Speaker 3: They're using like Blu-ray, DVDs, or not even, just digital
- 54:13Speaker 3: fucking dumb things. Like, she would be so fucking confused then.
- 54:19Speaker 2: It's very good. I do have to say, one of
- 54:21Speaker 2: the reasons I picked this is because I've been addicted
- 54:23Speaker 2: to watching clips from her show. She has a show? Yeah,
- 54:26Speaker 2: she does a talk show.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Oh, fuck, she does.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I forgot about that. And it's genuinely, it's like eye
- 54:33Speaker 2: bleach for your soul. Oh, okay. I'll have to check
- 54:36Speaker 2: it out.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I like my vision.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I'm referring to Reddit, the iBleach Reddit, which is basically like,
- 54:43Speaker 2: it's very wholesome.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Oh.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Positive, very positive show.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I've never heard that before. You've never heard that before?
- 54:51Speaker 2: I've heard that before.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Very positive.
- 54:52Speaker 2: It's very positive emotions, very wholesome. Like, all the clips
- 54:55Speaker 2: are like one.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Sounds like some fucking TikTok trend some kids are trying
- 54:58Speaker 1: to do.
- 54:58Speaker 7: No.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Let's do some iBleach. Don't put bleach in your eyes.
- 55:01Speaker 2: Genuinely, genuinely was trying to make reference to a very
- 55:04Speaker 2: sweet thing.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 55:06Speaker 2: And she does have a lot of sweet clips of
- 55:09Speaker 2: her interacting with fellow celebrities who just absolutely adore each other.
- 55:14Speaker 2: And she had in her audience, I think, somebody who
- 55:17Speaker 2: was a flight attendant on Drew Barrymore's flight where apparently
- 55:22Speaker 2: she broke down. And they had a very sweet reunion.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Okay, that's cool.
- 55:28Speaker 2: She's just... great human being so that's one of the
- 55:30Speaker 2: reasons why I thought of her I don't know why
- 55:32Speaker 2: I'm bringing it up here and now but let's move.
- 55:34Speaker 3: On that helps clarify for us yeah yeah so if
- 55:38Speaker 3: that helps actually.
- 55:39Speaker 6: That does help a lot so on her show based
- 55:42Speaker 6: off her career on her show she has this puppy
- 55:44Speaker 6: time so now she has puppy time she does she
- 55:49Speaker 6: had a couple of segments where she had puppies come
- 55:51Speaker 6: out and it's like a thing for it was a
- 55:53Speaker 6: happy thing I've seen it twice I haven't seen it.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Yeah I haven't seen it either yeah It's cute.
- 55:58Speaker 1: She's fucking adorable. But instead, she starves the puppies. Oh.
- 56:03Speaker 1: So that way, when she releases them, they go after
- 56:06Speaker 1: audience members. And she just laughs maniacally.
- 56:12Speaker 2: That's pretty good.
- 56:13Speaker 1: But they all signed NDA, so they can't do shit
- 56:15Speaker 1: about it.
- 56:16Speaker 2: All right, fair enough. Augie, can you make Drew Barrymore worse?
- 56:20Speaker 7: Oh, fuck.
- 56:21Speaker 3: How do I even do anything with that?
- 56:23Speaker 1: Um.
- 56:26Speaker 3: No, that's low-hanging.
- 56:27Speaker 1: That's low-hanging.
- 56:28Speaker 3: It's hard to do it with an actual person.
- 56:31Speaker 1: She goes brunette.
- 56:33Speaker 2: No.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I can't remember things.
- 56:37Speaker 3: No, she was the singer in Wedding Singer.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Yes. No, he was the singer in Wedding Singer.
- 56:44Speaker 2: No, she was now.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Oh, she's now?
- 56:47Speaker 2: Yeah. He's rewriting the movie.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Good job. It gets another star.
- 56:54Speaker 2: I genuinely can't say The Wedding Singer is one of
- 56:57Speaker 2: my favorite movies. I love that movie to death.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I do have one more.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I don't know if she's a bad singer. I don't
- 57:05Speaker 2: think she is. In any event, Stevie.
- 57:09Speaker 1: True Barrymore. True Barrymore.
- 57:15Speaker 7: I mean, the only thing that I think would taint her,
- 57:19Speaker 7: in my view, honestly, and I'm being 100% honest here,
- 57:23Speaker 7: When she took the role in Scream, originally she was
- 57:28Speaker 7: supposed to be the main character, and she takes that
- 57:30Speaker 7: instead of just that intro one where she gets stabbed
- 57:32Speaker 7: and gutted and stuff at the very beginning of the movie.
- 57:35Speaker 4: And then she's out, and her name was the big
- 57:37Speaker 4: name to carry into this movie, thinking everybody thought she
- 57:40Speaker 4: was the main character and stuff.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And then she just doesn't. So I think having her
- 57:44Speaker 1: as Sydney instead... would make, well.
- 57:47Speaker 4: At least in my opinion, her weight less. I don't
- 57:50Speaker 4: know why. I'd have hated the Sydney character, probably.
- 57:53Speaker 2: So it's actually kind of making it better?
- 57:55Speaker 1: No.
- 57:57Speaker 2: We're going to move on.
- 57:58Speaker 1: No, I made it worse.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Augie?
- 58:00Speaker 3: I will say, just as an aside real quick, I
- 58:02Speaker 3: will say that one of my original ones was the
- 58:06Speaker 3: twist ending that she didn't die and scream that she
- 58:08Speaker 3: was actually the.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Killer in the end.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Even though she died in the beginning, she was still
- 58:11Speaker 3: a Killian. But no, I have one that's better. She's
- 58:14Speaker 3: one of the people who pours her milk into the
- 58:18Speaker 3: cereal bowl first.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Holy fuck. I only do that to piss you off. No. Damn.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Stevie, can you make it worse still?
- 58:34Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Are you waving the white flag?
- 58:37Speaker 1: I think I'm... She's the head of the HOA. All
- 58:43Speaker 1: of them.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 58:44Speaker 1: She's the reason there's HOAs.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Okay. That's pretty bad. Doggy, we're back to you.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Sorry, man. God damn it. I had to pull out
- 58:51Speaker 1: the big guns for that. That was hard. I was
- 58:53Speaker 1: like the cereal thing. Fuck. I get it.
- 58:55Speaker 3: It's pretty funny, though.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 58:57Speaker 1: She invented HOAs. This is so wrong. I hate HOAs.
- 59:02Speaker 2: They're so awful.
- 59:02Speaker 1: They're so bad. They're so awful.
- 59:06Speaker 3: She never turns right on red, even though she can.
- 59:08Speaker 1: That's pretty funny. I like that.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Stevie?
- 59:15Speaker 1: I'm good. You're done?
- 59:16Speaker 2: You're done.
- 59:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 59:18Speaker 2: In this case.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Oh, fuck. I have to go with she puts the
- 59:23Speaker 2: milk in the.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Cereal before the cereal. Good job, Augie.
- 59:26Speaker 2: That's fucking funny. So, yeah, that's going to be two
- 59:29Speaker 2: straight to Augie. He wins the game and gets three
- 59:33Speaker 2: episode points.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Fuck yes.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Which means he has won the episode four points to two.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Damn. That's awesome.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Well done.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Good fucking man.
- 59:42Speaker 2: You are very good at this game.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:44Speaker 2: There's something about your sense of humor.
- 59:46Speaker 1: He's very pessimistic. You just don't realize it.
- 59:49Speaker 4: He broods all day long. All he does is brood
- 59:51Speaker 4: and mumble to himself.
- 59:53Speaker 1: That's it. Only half of that's true. Yeah, I believe you.
- 59:57Speaker 1: All of it. It's dark in our apartment all the time.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Because we have blackout curtains.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Oh, that fucking makes sense now.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: So you can sleep, asshole. Okay, so.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Oh, Christ.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: That's going to be it for the show. Another fantastic
