- 1:53Speaker 2: thief was and why Jesus saving him was so incredible.
- 1:57Speaker 2: The story tells itself. It's a powerful demonstration of just
- 2:02Speaker 2: what the gospel really does mean, and I encourage you
- 2:04Speaker 2: to do that. I also want to say, in a
- 2:07Speaker 2: very grand way, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank
- 2:11Speaker 2: you for all that you've done to help us with
- 2:15Speaker 2: feeding hungry kids this year. I'm reading some of the
- 2:19Speaker 2: some of the comments that are on the that are
- 2:23Speaker 2: on the page because some of you are allowed to
- 2:27Speaker 2: you've you've given your gift online and then you've left,
- 2:31Speaker 2: you know, remarks in your in your online gift, and
- 2:34Speaker 2: I just some of these just really warm my heart.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Dennis and Cheryl are from the Cincinnati area, and they said,
- 2:44Speaker 2: God bless you, thank you for this ministry for your
- 2:46Speaker 2: radio program.
- 2:47Speaker 3: We love it. They said, we want to help.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We want to help a child have two meals a
- 2:52Speaker 2: day and clean drinking water for the foreseeable future. Doreen
- 2:56Speaker 2: b who lives in Hilton Head, South Carolina, said I
- 3:00Speaker 2: want to help four kids, and so she gave a
- 3:04Speaker 2: very generous gift a ton of people helping two or
- 3:07Speaker 2: three kids at a time. Paul from New York City,
- 3:10Speaker 2: thank you for your gift to helping four kids. This
- 3:13Speaker 2: one made me laugh. I think you pronounced the name Januk.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I think Januk is a male name. And he said,
- 3:19Speaker 2: my Yuna, who I think is his wife, was touched
- 3:22Speaker 2: by your show in supporting hungry children. So on Kevin's birthday,
- 3:27Speaker 2: it was a few days ago, said I want to help.
- 3:30Speaker 2: God bless and Januk and Yuna took care of two
- 3:34Speaker 2: kids and they're in Seattle. As I mentioned, gifts coming
- 3:38Speaker 2: in from all over the country. Gary be listening to
- 3:42Speaker 2: us in San Antonio made a one time donation helping
- 3:45Speaker 2: a child. It's just it's one of those things where
- 3:47Speaker 2: I look and I see all the different cities that
- 3:50Speaker 2: people have given from, and I see all the different
- 3:52Speaker 2: ways in which they've given, and you know the creativeness
- 3:55Speaker 2: of what they've done, and just your desire to help
- 3:58Speaker 2: these children much is my heart and I just I
- 4:01Speaker 2: can't say thank you enough. So thank you for what
- 4:04Speaker 2: you've done. Thank you for being there. Hey sus in Bloomfield,
- 4:09Speaker 2: I see your gift for God's children, who he loves
- 4:11Speaker 2: so deeply. We have two precious baby girls, and we
- 4:13Speaker 2: want to thank God that we can be a blessing
- 4:15Speaker 2: to others. God bless you as you feed these kids.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Thank you, heyesus, thank you for your generosity and friends,
- 4:22Speaker 2: we continue to do it. But I wanted to give
- 4:24Speaker 2: you an update because this is where the real exciting
- 4:27Speaker 2: stuff comes from. Our goal was remember seven hundred and
- 4:31Speaker 2: twenty kids, and as of this morning, I'm sorry to
- 4:35Speaker 2: say that you didn't hit the goal. I'm sorry to
- 4:38Speaker 2: say I'm sorry to report that we've now helped seven
- 4:41Speaker 2: hundred and thirty six kids. So thank you for all
- 4:47Speaker 2: that you've done, but we have until the end of
- 4:50Speaker 2: April to feed even more than the seven hundred and
- 4:54Speaker 2: twenty that were on our list. That was just the
- 4:56Speaker 2: starting point. There are several thousand that Food for the
- 5:00Speaker 2: Poor is feeding and bringing water to this year. And friend,
- 5:04Speaker 2: through the rest of this month, we have a friend
- 5:07Speaker 2: who's going to match every child we feed. So let's
- 5:11Speaker 2: feed some more. Eight fiy five nine zero seven four
- 5:15Speaker 2: six seven three eight five five nine zero seven four
- 5:17Speaker 2: six seven three. But your generosity, you're outpouring of love.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It makes such a difference.
- 5:22Speaker 4: And I am.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So so grateful that that you are interested enough in
- 5:28Speaker 2: doing this that you've you've you know, taken this on.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So many of you, almost three hundred of you have
- 5:35Speaker 2: jumped in and said I'm going to be part of it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So thank you for those of you that are making
- 5:39Speaker 2: the difference. Thank you for those of you that have
- 5:42Speaker 2: in the past and did again, and thank you for
- 5:44Speaker 2: those that are just brand new to Food for the
- 5:45Speaker 2: Poor this time.
- 5:47Speaker 3: You may not know this.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I've been working with them for almost twenty years and
- 5:50Speaker 2: my wife and I give to them. We have for
- 5:53Speaker 2: a long long time. I've traveled with them to the
- 5:56Speaker 2: third world. I've seen what they do. I will tell
- 5:58Speaker 2: you one very meaning full story. There was a community
- 6:02Speaker 2: that I was invited to go check out in Haiti
- 6:04Speaker 2: called Kadua. If you drove out of the major city
- 6:07Speaker 2: and you went for about two hours into the roughest
- 6:10Speaker 2: of country, and you got to the place where the
- 6:13Speaker 2: road couldn't be traveled any further, and then you walked
- 6:15Speaker 2: about another mile and a half in you could find
- 6:18Speaker 2: where Codua was, but you had to go all that
- 6:20Speaker 2: way into the distance, and there the pastor was trying
- 6:25Speaker 2: to teach a school, six or seven kids sitting on
- 6:28Speaker 2: tree stumps drinking water out of a putrid source that
- 6:32Speaker 2: was just gross. And it was one of those things
- 6:35Speaker 2: where when you saw it, your heart broke and you said,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I can't believe that children have to live this way.
- 6:41Speaker 2: And I came back that year. I was just on
- 6:43Speaker 2: in New York, and we just went full scale, just
- 6:47Speaker 2: we're gonna help Codua.
- 6:48Speaker 3: We're gonna do everything we can.
- 6:50Speaker 2: We not only got every kid in that village fed
- 6:53Speaker 2: that year, but we installed a new water delivery system,
- 6:57Speaker 2: water purification system. And then I went back year later,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and when we went back, you wouldn't believe it was
- 7:03Speaker 2: the same that for one thing, you could drive the
- 7:05Speaker 2: road all the way to the town, which was by
- 7:07Speaker 2: itself an amazing accomplishment. And then beyond that, you see
- 7:12Speaker 2: these kids who just a year before, look, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 2: they had the big distended bellies, they had the orange hair,
- 7:17Speaker 2: there was all the signs of starvation that was going on,
- 7:20Speaker 2: kind of not really moving around much, just kind of
- 7:23Speaker 2: listless and kind of and when we pulled up into
- 7:26Speaker 2: the town and they saw that it was food for
- 7:28Speaker 2: the poor, they came running. These are completely different children.
- 7:33Speaker 2: A year's worth of nutrition and clean drinking water, and
- 7:37Speaker 2: the change in their health you could spot it immediately.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And France, that's the difference that food for the Poor makes.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That's why my family gives. That's why I want you
- 7:46Speaker 2: to get involved, be a part of the solution this
- 7:50Speaker 2: Holy Week season. And for those of you that do that,
- 7:53Speaker 2: give a gift this week, we have got a special
- 7:57Speaker 2: little gift for you. My music group Tea Collective. They
- 8:00Speaker 2: have put out a two song Holy Week EP. It's
- 8:04Speaker 2: just a two song release, but it's two songs that
- 8:07Speaker 2: are focused on the meaning of the passion of this week.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What Jesus did what he accomplished, and we want you
- 8:13Speaker 2: to have it absolutely free. So give your gift and
- 8:17Speaker 2: you'll be receiving that from us at no cost to you.
- 8:19Speaker 2: And I would love to pass that on. But in
- 8:22Speaker 2: honor of what Jesus did for you this week, would
- 8:25Speaker 2: you give a gift honoring the children that He loves,
- 8:28Speaker 2: honoring the children that look fairly forgotten to most of
- 8:31Speaker 2: the rest of the world. I would be so grateful
- 8:33Speaker 2: if you would do that. Eight five five, nine oh seven,
- 8:36Speaker 2: four six seven three eight, five five nine zero seven
- 8:38Speaker 2: four six seven three eight five five nine zero seven
- 8:41Speaker 2: four six seven three. And when you call or go online,
- 8:45Speaker 2: it shouldn't take more than about two minutes. So just
- 8:47Speaker 2: do that. And if you give this week, we're going
- 8:50Speaker 2: to send you that EP back your direction. Kevin McCullough,
- 8:54Speaker 2: we've got so much yet to get to On on Wednesdays,
- 8:56Speaker 2: we do like to look at wellness and we're going
- 8:58Speaker 2: to talk about the act of something called peptides and
- 9:02Speaker 2: how they change your health for the better. There's some
- 9:06Speaker 2: new news on what they do, and we're going to
- 9:08Speaker 2: talk with doctor Ray Solano coming up next, and I
- 9:12Speaker 2: hope that she'll stay with us Kevin McCollough again that
- 9:14Speaker 2: phone number eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 9:16Speaker 2: seven three eighty five five nine zero seven four six
- 9:19Speaker 2: seven three.

- 10:33Speaker 2: All right, friends, Every week, I promise you you're going
- 10:35Speaker 2: to get a real life question answered by the real
- 10:37Speaker 2: life Mike Connors and Mike. This week's question says, my
- 10:39Speaker 2: aunt passed away and I can't afford to pay for
- 10:42Speaker 2: her funeral. I know she had life insurance. Can those
- 10:45Speaker 2: funds be used to cover funeral expenses? Sign Peggy from
- 10:48Speaker 2: New York. Mike Connors.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Yes, uh, you know they can. But the problem is
- 10:53Speaker 6: the life insurance policy and a lot of people are
- 10:54Speaker 6: under this this understanding, the life insurance policy gets paid
- 10:58Speaker 6: to the beneficiary. So yeah, if you're the beneficiary of
- 11:01Speaker 6: the life insurance policy, you can sign that policy over
- 11:04Speaker 6: to the funeral director and a lot of them will
- 11:05Speaker 6: take that for payment. But if somebody else, another cousin,
- 11:08Speaker 6: let's say, is the beneficiary, you don't own that policy.
- 11:11Speaker 6: Insurance policy is not subject to a funeral bill. Now,
- 11:14Speaker 6: if there's anything in these state at all, the funeral
- 11:16Speaker 6: bal takes first priority in anything that passes through your state.
- 11:21Speaker 6: So that's the first bill that has to be paid.
- 11:23Speaker 6: And in fact, in tarrogate's court, a lot of times
- 11:25Speaker 6: they will not probate it will unless the funeral bill
- 11:28Speaker 6: has been paid by whomever. It can be a little tricky,
- 11:32Speaker 6: and that's why when you're planning this, you want to
- 11:33Speaker 6: put some money aside, either prepay your funeral or put
- 11:36Speaker 6: some money asides when your relatives can pay the funeral
- 11:38Speaker 6: without a tremendous disadvantager the monetary inconvenience. And you know,
- 11:45Speaker 6: one of the problems today is a lot of these
- 11:47Speaker 6: funeral pollers are owned by corporations who are not flexible.
- 11:51Speaker 6: The old time funeral directors used to work with you.
- 11:53Speaker 6: The new corporations, Hey, you got to pay it went
- 11:55Speaker 6: up earning you.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Peggy, I hope that helps. And I wonder if,
- 11:59Speaker 2: because she is her niece, if Peggy is not the beneficiary,
- 12:05Speaker 2: because she's asking about having to pay for a funeral,
- 12:08Speaker 2: and you would normally think I'd do that, So you.
- 12:10Speaker 6: Can always do something. But yeah, it's good. You got
- 12:13Speaker 6: to make clans in advance.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Friends, if you've got questions from Mike, send them to
- 12:18Speaker 2: Askmike Connors at gmail dot com. Ask Mike Connors at
- 12:20Speaker 2: gmail dot com, and then be listening. He'll answer more
- 12:23Speaker 2: questions on his own broadcast Saturday morning at eight o'clock
- 12:25Speaker 2: on AM five seventy and one on two point three
- 12:27Speaker 2: FM The Mission WMCA, and Sunday morning at eleven starting
- 12:31Speaker 2: at eleven on AM nine to seventy The Answer, Mike Connors,

- 12:43Speaker 3: Alex Marlow explains the thought process.
- 12:46Speaker 8: This is the whole thing is they regard those that
- 12:48Speaker 8: enforce our federal law as lawless. This is the gaslighting
- 12:51Speaker 8: Democrats do they tell you the people who are cast
- 12:54Speaker 8: is enforcing some of our most important laws are at
- 12:57Speaker 8: immigration and custom laws. Those are the ones who are
- 12:59Speaker 8: violent in the law. The lying is just at a
- 13:02Speaker 8: whole new level at this moment in Donald Trump's administration.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Alex Marlow Show weekdays at noon right before Scott Jennings

- 14:08Speaker 2: that Salem Podcastnetwork dot com. I am so thrilled to
- 14:12Speaker 2: have pd Labs RX sponsoring the show because I know
- 14:17Speaker 2: that they're providing important services for the people that have
- 14:20Speaker 2: reached out and utilized them. But it's been a joy
- 14:22Speaker 2: to kind of get to know doctor Ray Solano a
- 14:24Speaker 2: little bit. When I first joined the Salem News Channel,
- 14:29Speaker 2: I saw all of the pd Labs commercials Doctor Solano,
- 14:32Speaker 2: and I was like, who is this group and how
- 14:35Speaker 2: cool what they're doing. And now to think that you're
- 14:38Speaker 2: actually sponsoring my show, I feel really honored and humbled
- 14:41Speaker 2: and grateful for it. So thank you for doing that.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I got a call from one of your people last
- 14:46Speaker 2: week and they said, hey, keV, there's a lot going
- 14:50Speaker 2: on with something called peptides in the news and they
- 14:55Speaker 2: had just I guess been speaking with you shortly before that,
- 14:58Speaker 2: and I thought, well, let's talk about that. I've heard
- 15:01Speaker 2: the word, don't know much about it. I think I
- 15:04Speaker 2: kind of find myself the way a lot of our
- 15:05Speaker 2: audience might on this Wellness Wednesday. What is a peptide
- 15:10Speaker 2: and what is what is? What are they making news for?
- 15:13Speaker 10: Well, you know, we're we're a specialty compounding pharmacy research base.
- 15:17Speaker 10: They're always looking for new solutions for patients that are affordable,
- 15:23Speaker 10: and they have they actually change and improve people's lives.
- 15:28Speaker 10: And this group of drugs we'll call them peptides for
- 15:35Speaker 10: for now, it's just a is A is A linking
- 15:38Speaker 10: of these amino acids the basic building blocks of proteins
- 15:43Speaker 10: that are linked together and for any specific purpose. And
- 15:47Speaker 10: peptides have been around for a long time. Even insulin
- 15:52Speaker 10: is a peptide. So there's this drug class has been
- 15:56Speaker 10: uh has been present and very effective. But there's this
- 16:00Speaker 10: new or more forward thinking group of amino acid or
- 16:05Speaker 10: peptide class that is really transformational for health, for immune regulation,
- 16:11Speaker 10: for pain, and for cognitive and so we're seeing this
- 16:16Speaker 10: whole new group of drugs that really are going to
- 16:20Speaker 10: transform healthcare.
- 16:22Speaker 3: However, let me start.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Let me start there though before we get any further
- 16:26Speaker 2: on that. You keep using the term drug, But I
- 16:30Speaker 2: hear the word amino acid, and I'm thinking this is
- 16:35Speaker 2: a natural substance because amino acids are present, you know,
- 16:40Speaker 2: in us, in the foods that we need and so forth.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So what defines a peptide drug per se versus a
- 16:48Speaker 2: combination of things that we find in nature.
- 16:51Speaker 11: Well, you know, that's a really good question.
- 16:53Speaker 10: The FDA has calculated an over forty amino as it's
- 17:01Speaker 10: actually a drug.
- 17:02Speaker 11: So for if the late if.
- 17:04Speaker 3: It all appears in nature naturally it does.
- 17:08Speaker 10: Some of them are synthetic. You know, amino acids can
- 17:13Speaker 10: be synthesized and when they link them together in a
- 17:16Speaker 10: daisy chain, they have a significant effect on the body.
- 17:21Speaker 10: And whether it's a drug or a natural substance is
- 17:25Speaker 10: the debate that's going on today. So that's the reason
- 17:30Speaker 10: why we're talking about it, because is it a drug,
- 17:34Speaker 10: is it a natural substance, is it a new This
- 17:36Speaker 10: is what's going on, and unfortunately the patients that need
- 17:41Speaker 10: the help are being held hostage, so to speak. We
- 17:44Speaker 10: found that the former administration took this classification of peptides
- 17:52Speaker 10: and it was like at least seventeen that were the
- 17:54Speaker 10: most popular that we're being used everywhere.
- 17:57Speaker 11: For state licensed pharmacies.
- 17:59Speaker 10: We're making his injections and things were just it was
- 18:03Speaker 10: an amazing renaissance in medicine. And all of a sudden,
- 18:07Speaker 10: we wake up one day and we put it into
- 18:10Speaker 10: a category that says there's safety concerns Category two, and
- 18:16Speaker 10: everybody looked at each other and go, well, what happened. Well,
- 18:20Speaker 10: we just felt it was had safety concerns. There was
- 18:24Speaker 10: no basis for it at all, because there's over a
- 18:28Speaker 10: million doses that have been injected without I think we
- 18:33Speaker 10: figured that there was seven adverse events that had nothing
- 18:36Speaker 10: to do with the drug. So it's a really relatively
- 18:39Speaker 10: it is a very safe category. So we've been under
- 18:42Speaker 10: this umbrella or a lockdown, so to speak, for the
- 18:47Speaker 10: last four to five years. And thankful now RFK has
- 18:54Speaker 10: been a big proponent of this, and he announced on
- 18:57Speaker 10: the Joe Rogan Show about three weeks ago then we're
- 19:00Speaker 10: going to move it back to the category one and
- 19:03Speaker 10: so we're all waiting for it to make that official.
- 19:06Speaker 2: So what are the most common treatments peptides have been
- 19:12Speaker 2: used for? And you mentioned a couple of categories, but
- 19:14Speaker 2: how are they typically used?
- 19:16Speaker 10: Well, it was some of the most popular ones is
- 19:20Speaker 10: for pain relief, for anti inflammation, for tendon repair or
- 19:26Speaker 10: muscle repair repair.
- 19:29Speaker 11: It works up until now.
- 19:32Speaker 10: The drugs that are used to reduce inflammation or steroids
- 19:37Speaker 10: prenozone still very effective. However, to be able to inject
- 19:41Speaker 10: something locally and reduce inflammation overnight is something kind of
- 19:47Speaker 10: a miraculous and so this is a most popular one.
- 19:52Speaker 11: We probably hear.
- 19:52Speaker 10: About a BPC one fifty seven naturally occurring in the
- 19:56Speaker 10: GI track.
- 19:57Speaker 11: It's been around for twenty five years, you know.
- 20:00Speaker 10: Unfortunately it ended up on the category two list, and
- 20:05Speaker 10: so this is the.
- 20:06Speaker 11: One of the ones that we see that's making it huge.
- 20:10Speaker 3: And what does that do help protect gut health?
- 20:13Speaker 11: Well, it's it's it's almost bipolar.
- 20:17Speaker 10: It repairs damaged tissue and wherever that is.
- 20:20Speaker 11: It could be.
- 20:21Speaker 10: When it's swallowed in a gut help which is extraordinary
- 20:25Speaker 10: for that's how it started. But when it's injected to
- 20:29Speaker 10: a tendon that's being damaged to reduce it helps repair
- 20:34Speaker 10: the that tendon and stop the inflammation. So it tells
- 20:38Speaker 10: the body, come on over here, we got an injury here.
- 20:42Speaker 10: We need to focus and repair. And we've been done
- 20:45Speaker 10: it as a nasal spray for repairing brain injuries. So
- 20:51Speaker 10: it's in there's this whole category has tremendous effects.
- 20:57Speaker 11: Just like that.
- 20:58Speaker 10: We don't have that tape type of black box warning.
- 21:03Speaker 11: I'll call it on these on these.
- 21:06Speaker 10: Peptides, you know right now they're made on the gray
- 21:10Speaker 10: market or the black market. And RFK made it really
- 21:16Speaker 10: categorized it on the on the Joe Rogan Show, we
- 21:20Speaker 10: said the federal government, the FDA, created its own black market.
- 21:26Speaker 10: So all these peptides are available on the black market
- 21:29Speaker 10: as research grade they're not made in state licensed pharmacies.
- 21:34Speaker 11: They're not. They're made for research, not for human use.
- 21:38Speaker 10: However, it's widespread being used for humans. But at this
- 21:45Speaker 10: point we still even with this unregulated arena of who,
- 21:52Speaker 10: what is it, and what's in it, we have not
- 21:55Speaker 10: seen the level of side effects that we see with
- 21:59Speaker 10: all the other.
- 22:00Speaker 11: Which is why they should up on the marketplace, which.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Is why they should have never been banned to begin with.
- 22:05Speaker 3: We're to take quick break.
- 22:06Speaker 2: We're speaking with doctor Ray Solano, the founder of pd
- 22:09Speaker 2: pd Labs RX, and they are a compounding pharmacy. I've
- 22:13Speaker 2: learned a little bit about compounding pharmacies in the last
- 22:16Speaker 2: few years as I've turned to them for prescriptions I
- 22:19Speaker 2: could not get elsewhere, and we'll talk a little bit
- 22:21Speaker 2: about why that's important. We're looking at some wellness issues
- 22:24Speaker 2: on this Wednesday.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Don't go way.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Hey, it's Joe Biscuppo.
- 22:35Speaker 5: You heard me talk about First Christian Mortgage, and I
- 22:37Speaker 5: want to tell you why I respect what they're doing.
- 22:39Speaker 5: They're a faith based direct lender, and that means they
- 22:42Speaker 5: really focus on serving people the right way with honesty, clarity,
- 22:45Speaker 5: and integrity. Buying a home or refinancing can feel overwhelming.
- 22:48Speaker 5: There are rates, loan programs, paperwork, it's a lot. What
- 22:51Speaker 5: I appreciate about the team at First Christian Mortgage is
- 22:54Speaker 5: that they take the time to walk you through all
- 22:56Speaker 5: your options, explain things clearly, and help you make the

- 24:47Speaker 3: Our bodies are miraculous.
- 24:49Speaker 13: They will adapt to altitude, to temperature, to stress, but
- 24:53Speaker 13: there's one thing that they should never adapt to, and
- 24:55Speaker 13: that is hunger. And we met a young girl named
- 24:57Speaker 13: Daniela and I'll do it to us, and she's built
- 24:59Speaker 13: a tolerance to not eating. I'm going to let that
- 25:01Speaker 13: sit in for a moment. She's built a tolerance to noise,
- 25:04Speaker 13: she's built a tolerance to discomfort, to inconvenience, but to hunger.
- 25:08Speaker 13: And that's the body's ultimate surrender. That's when empty becomes
- 25:12Speaker 13: the new normal. And that tolerance isn't strengthful to it's
- 25:15Speaker 13: a survival mode and it's the body learning to function
- 25:18Speaker 13: on less than what it needs. And it's a childhood

- 27:46Speaker 2: You may also hear doctor Solano and his staff on
- 27:49Speaker 2: commercials that run during my show because they are proud
- 27:52Speaker 2: sponsors of That Kevin Show. And as we talk about
- 27:55Speaker 2: health these days, we wander into all kinds of areas.
- 27:58Speaker 2: You know, if you've listened for your length of time,
- 28:00Speaker 2: we have top Ivy League surgeons on one end, and
- 28:03Speaker 2: nutrition and fitness experts on the other, and everything in between.
- 28:07Speaker 2: And something that I began to become aware of through
- 28:11Speaker 2: some of my own medical needs over the last few
- 28:13Speaker 2: years was the power of what are called compounding pharmacies,
- 28:17Speaker 2: pharmacies that do compounds in ways that regular pharmacies do not.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And Doctor Solano before we well we're going to get
- 28:25Speaker 2: into this, so we may as well just dig in.
- 28:27Speaker 2: But how would you describe the impact and the importance
- 28:32Speaker 2: of having compounding pharmacies active and operating in America right now?
- 28:38Speaker 2: What would we not have if you guys didn't exist.
- 28:41Speaker 10: Well, you know, that's a really good question that we
- 28:43Speaker 10: come up with all the time.
- 28:45Speaker 11: What's new? How come I haven't heard about this?
- 28:48Speaker 10: Well, this is a practice of pharmacy that has been
- 28:51Speaker 10: around since the beginning of time that physicians come up
- 28:54Speaker 10: with a compound or a mixture that they may feel
- 28:59Speaker 10: that has helpful for a patient, and they asked the
- 29:01Speaker 10: pharmacists to put it together in a form that the
- 29:05Speaker 10: patient will take, and so then it's simple to pre prepare.
- 29:09Speaker 11: Big pharmaceutical companies took this space over.
- 29:12Speaker 10: However, compounding pharmacies still have been able to have the
- 29:16Speaker 10: specialty of taking bulk drugs that may be discontinued or
- 29:23Speaker 10: unavailable at all, and be able to help for certain
- 29:28Speaker 10: conditions or to personalize it for every patient. You know,
- 29:33Speaker 10: one size does not fit all for shoe size. And
- 29:37Speaker 10: also pharmaceuticals are the same way. So it is especially
- 29:41Speaker 10: during shortages. You know, if the shortages for the GLP drugs,
- 29:45Speaker 10: compounding pharmacies stepped in and fixed it. When there was COVID,
- 29:51Speaker 10: we were able to come up with hand sanitizers for
- 29:55Speaker 10: everybody and to be able to find pharmaceuticals that were
- 29:59Speaker 10: in or apply. So we're kind of like the backup
- 30:04Speaker 10: for when the supply chain of drugs just falls apart,
- 30:09Speaker 10: or just customize new drugs that your physician, your practitioner says,
- 30:15Speaker 10: you know what this combination works. That's what the freedom
- 30:18Speaker 10: we call it, the freedom to choose medicine. What we find,
- 30:22Speaker 10: we want to personalize that dosage form for you. And
- 30:25Speaker 10: what we found is the drug that they was made,
- 30:31Speaker 10: and it was produced for many people. The dose was
- 30:34Speaker 10: too high, so we had to dilute it or we
- 30:37Speaker 10: had to have a microdose or a very small amount
- 30:41Speaker 10: that would minimize the side effects for patients.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Because and I want to say this clearly, everything you
- 30:49Speaker 2: put in your body has benefit in side effects.
- 30:53Speaker 11: And that's right.
- 30:53Speaker 2: You're always measuring what are the side effects against the
- 30:57Speaker 2: perceived benefit or proven benefit of whatever it is you're
- 31:00Speaker 2: taking in and it is something that you and your
- 31:02Speaker 2: doctor need to pay attention to well.
- 31:04Speaker 10: And many times what we're finding things like low dosnel tresone,
- 31:09Speaker 10: if you lower the dose, you get a much better
- 31:13Speaker 10: effect than you would at a higher dose.
- 31:16Speaker 11: So that's the beauty and the.
- 31:18Speaker 10: Profession of personalized medications that you're able to buy from
- 31:23Speaker 10: an FDA registered manufacturer of bulk pharmaceutical and be able
- 31:29Speaker 10: to come up with formulas and strengths that are individual
- 31:34Speaker 10: for the patients. So this is why you know, it
- 31:37Speaker 10: is so important we feel to have a relationship with
- 31:41Speaker 10: a compounding pharmacy in your area because you know, in
- 31:44Speaker 10: some cases they could really just change your change your life,
- 31:48Speaker 10: and then really improve your health.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and if they're not in your area, because when
- 31:53Speaker 2: I was trying to get a GLP one, even in
- 31:57Speaker 2: the Trice State, in the New York area, we had
- 32:00Speaker 2: a hard time finding one that could service us. I
- 32:03Speaker 2: think the closest one we had was Staten Island, and
- 32:05Speaker 2: I'm you know, not anywhere near Staten Island. So it
- 32:07Speaker 2: was like one of those things where I need to,
- 32:12Speaker 2: you know, not only have access, but I need to
- 32:14Speaker 2: be able to trust that PD Labs for what it's worth.
- 32:18Speaker 2: You guys service people across the nation.
- 32:21Speaker 11: That's right.
- 32:22Speaker 10: Being licensed nationwide is a is a challenge in itself
- 32:26Speaker 10: because the state laws for every if state are very different,
- 32:31Speaker 10: sometimes very restrictive, So you have to have a higher
- 32:35Speaker 10: level of laboratory and quality control and be able to
- 32:40Speaker 10: be able to comply with each of those state regulations.

- 36:51Speaker 1: from New York back to radio night Life.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Here's Kevin McCullough.
- 36:57Speaker 2: All right, Kevin McCollough, glad to have you with us.
- 37:00Speaker 2: We are speaking with doctor Ray Solano of the pd
- 37:03Speaker 2: Labs Compounding Pharmacy Laboratory and they operate out of Texas,
- 37:09Speaker 2: but you can contact them via online at pd labs
- 37:13Speaker 2: rx dot com and are nationally certified to do what
- 37:18Speaker 2: is needed, and so I would encourage you to check
- 37:19Speaker 2: them out. I'm very grateful because they're sponsors of that
- 37:23Speaker 2: Kevin Show and doing a great job helping my listeners
- 37:26Speaker 2: find things that they need.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Doctor Solano.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I'm thinking of someone who's listening today who may not
- 37:31Speaker 2: have a lot of health problems at the moment. Maybe
- 37:34Speaker 2: they're on the younger side, but suddenly they find themselves
- 37:38Speaker 2: in two, three, five, ten years from now needing a
- 37:42Speaker 2: lot of help. How can someone stay educated on the
- 37:51Speaker 2: importance and when should I be thinking proactively about turning
- 37:56Speaker 2: to a compounding pharmacy as opposed to my Walgreens or
- 37:59Speaker 2: cva us or whoever's around the corner from me, because
- 38:02Speaker 2: medication is so expensive, and it is and sometimes it
- 38:06Speaker 2: seems it is really really just unreasonably burdensome to the individual,
- 38:12Speaker 2: and I always want to be about helping find helping
- 38:15Speaker 2: people find solutions.
- 38:16Speaker 10: Well, you know, we practice longevity medicine, and many compounding
- 38:21Speaker 10: pharmacies fuse natural medicine with traditional medications because they find
- 38:28Speaker 10: that many that the foundation of health is lifestyle changes
- 38:32Speaker 10: and proper nutrition growth in food and also nutrients. So
- 38:37Speaker 10: we practice a combination of both and what we find
- 38:40Speaker 10: and through our partnership with about Performance Health doctor Jim Leval,
- 38:45Speaker 10: there is some tests and some special software that we've
- 38:48Speaker 10: developed that we can predict your health where it's going
- 38:52Speaker 10: to be ten years from now. So you may say, Kevin,
- 38:55Speaker 10: you look everything's great, but you know your lab tests.
- 38:58Speaker 11: Are trending in this direction.
- 39:00Speaker 10: So we have some algorithms that we could predict if
- 39:03Speaker 10: you're going to be diabetic or you're going to be
- 39:05Speaker 10: a high blood pressure congestive heart failure.
- 39:08Speaker 11: Ten years from now.
- 39:09Speaker 10: And personally, it happened to me and I had some
- 39:12Speaker 10: major changes, but it was able to drop ten pounds,
- 39:16Speaker 10: it was able to change many of my labs. And
- 39:21Speaker 10: you know, it's stills an ongoing struggle. But guess what
- 39:24Speaker 10: my risk factors are one half of what they used
- 39:27Speaker 10: to be. So that's what we want people to do
- 39:29Speaker 10: is engage in your health, bake those investments in your health,
- 39:34Speaker 10: get with a practitioner that really understands longevity medicine, that
- 39:39Speaker 10: truly practices it. Because guess what, your blood never lies
- 39:44Speaker 10: and you can trend and predict so much with a
- 39:48Speaker 10: simple blood test.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Yeah, now that's really true.
- 39:51Speaker 2: My friend doctor Douglas Howard, who started the Balance of
- 39:55Speaker 2: Nature vegetable Supplements company a few years ago, talk regularly
- 40:01Speaker 2: about the focus of medicine shouldn't just be to give
- 40:08Speaker 2: comfort in whatever you're dealing with at the moment. You
- 40:11Speaker 2: should be aiming for that quality of life, that longevity
- 40:16Speaker 2: of life that you're talking about, and doing what you
- 40:19Speaker 2: can and to make the maximum of the days that
- 40:22Speaker 2: you have. Look, no one can predict when someone's.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Going to croak.
- 40:26Speaker 2: It's just not Maybe God's timing is God's timing, and
- 40:30Speaker 2: I don't know that anyone you know, there's no way
- 40:33Speaker 2: to predict that. But to have the maximum mobility for
- 40:37Speaker 2: every day of the life that you do have is
- 40:39Speaker 2: something that good health blesses you with. So these are
- 40:43Speaker 2: the types of things that we want to try to
- 40:46Speaker 2: help people do. And it blows me away, Doctor Solano.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Maybe it's because I'm, you know, fifty six now, and
- 40:51Speaker 2: I'm different than I was when I was thirty or
- 40:53Speaker 2: when I was twenty five in terms of how I
- 40:55Speaker 2: view life. But I'm looking at people that are in
- 40:57Speaker 2: their eighties that are as active as I felt like
- 41:01Speaker 2: my grandparents were in their sixties, and it seems like
- 41:04Speaker 2: we've arrived at a different day.
- 41:07Speaker 10: It really has you know, what we're finding with new
- 41:09Speaker 10: technology and new testing. We can have your risk factors
- 41:14Speaker 10: for Alzheimer's like we never had three even just three
- 41:17Speaker 10: years ago. We know what your risk factors for blood
- 41:22Speaker 10: insulin levels and diabetes like we've never had before, even
- 41:26Speaker 10: a heart attack, risk for lipoprotein a's and it's like
- 41:31Speaker 10: looking at your dashboard your on your car and being
- 41:34Speaker 10: able to see some of those warning signs of flash. Okay,
- 41:40Speaker 10: your car is still running, but you know, guess what,
- 41:43Speaker 10: you're going to have to go to the service.
- 41:44Speaker 11: Station and have somebody check it out.
- 41:46Speaker 10: That's what we look at is be able to see
- 41:49Speaker 10: what those learning lights are and be able to turn
- 41:52Speaker 10: them off.
- 41:52Speaker 11: And guess what.
- 41:53Speaker 10: We found out it works and we have a tremendous
- 41:57Speaker 10: amount of people and followers and get and it doesn't
- 41:59Speaker 10: have to cost expensive. And that's why we offered everybody
- 42:03Speaker 10: that's listened to your show, we'll give you a free
- 42:05Speaker 10: fifteen minute interview just to give you some a snapshot
- 42:09Speaker 10: of what the next steps are, because we really are
- 42:14Speaker 10: committed to people's health and we don't want them to
- 42:17Speaker 10: look at as I can't afford it as something that
- 42:21Speaker 10: can make a difference in somebody's health.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's that's so important. How do they access
- 42:26Speaker 2: that complimentary fifteen minute consultation, Hey, go.
- 42:29Speaker 10: To our website pdlabsrx dot com. That's pdlabsrx dot com,
- 42:35Speaker 10: or give us a call at five one two two
- 42:38Speaker 10: one nine zero seven two four and just say that
- 42:41Speaker 10: they listen to that Kevin show and we'll put you
- 42:45Speaker 10: in the right place with a clinical pharmacist to schedule
- 42:48Speaker 10: an appointment and get you on the right track.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Now, that sounds really really helpful. And as I've always said, friends,
- 42:53Speaker 2: those of you that have listened to me for any
- 42:55Speaker 2: length of time, wellness is something that you have to
- 42:58Speaker 2: consider all us x of life when.
- 43:01Speaker 3: When you're trying to improve it.
- 43:02Speaker 2: There's a spiritual component, there's a physical component, there's a
- 43:06Speaker 2: chemical component. And if and if any of them are
- 43:09Speaker 2: getting you know, lopsided and the other two are being
- 43:11Speaker 2: left out, uh, you're you're you're going to be off.
- 43:15Speaker 2: And we want everyone to be chemically right. That means
- 43:19Speaker 2: the things that are going into your body, whether it
- 43:21Speaker 2: be food or medicine or supplements or whatever else, we
- 43:23Speaker 2: want that to be healthy. We want your physical activity
- 43:27Speaker 2: to be healthy, we want your spiritual experience to be healthy.
- 43:30Speaker 2: And that's that that is what will give you the
- 43:33Speaker 2: most amount of physical health and hope as you're going through.
- 43:39Speaker 2: So I'm I'm excited, Doctor Solano.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Thank you for.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Doing all that you do, and thank you for spending
- 43:44Speaker 2: time with us uh here sponsoring the show, but also
