- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice for sure. It's time nice low and low
- 0:15Speaker 1: and low and LOWLO. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice
- 0:17Speaker 1: sh I'm your house through Shooter and it's Friday, which
- 0:20Speaker 1: means I do a friend. Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey,
- 0:23Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: I am here with bells on.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I love your bells. It's good to be back, my friend.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Last week I was in London looking after my dad.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's good to be back. I missed you. I missed
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Naughties, although we did do some solo shows from Britain.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Thank you for listening to them. By the way, I
- 0:37Speaker 1: know they're not the same. Don't get me wrong, I
- 0:39Speaker 1: get you Naughties. I'm the same. I like the shows
- 0:43Speaker 1: with the co hosts. I missed talking to my friends
- 0:47Speaker 1: at least once a week, so we're going to get
- 0:49Speaker 1: into each day. I have a lot to talk about. Hey,
- 0:51Speaker 1: what time is it? My friends? It is tea time
- 0:54Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show and exclusive,
- 0:55Speaker 1: so I hoard a copy. And Kelly Clarkson's friendship is
- 1:00Speaker 1: over and what ended it was?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Trust?
- 1:03Speaker 1: So I can reveal that Kelly Clarkson and Hoder were
- 1:06Speaker 1: there once close bond has gone ice cold, and this
- 1:10Speaker 1: was after NBC floated Hoder's name to replace her on
- 1:14Speaker 1: the Kelly Clarkson Show. Sources tell me Kelly was exhausted,
- 1:18Speaker 1: she was drowning in family drama and family heartache, and
- 1:23Speaker 1: executive's gone a little bit nervous. That's when Hoder's name
- 1:27Speaker 1: came up. And suddenly the friend she had leaned on
- 1:30Speaker 1: became the woman who might take her job. So for Kelly,
- 1:35Speaker 1: she took this personally. She thought Holder was a sister,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and when she heard the whispers that Holder might be
- 1:42Speaker 1: circuling her seat, she wasn't very happy about it. In fact,
- 1:46Speaker 1: inside of say felt like a betrayal. Now let's be
- 1:48Speaker 1: clear here. Holder never campaigned for this job, so Holder
- 1:53Speaker 1: was not out there trying to replace Kelly Clarkson. However,
- 1:56Speaker 1: when her name came up, she didn't exactly shut it down.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Would to have your own talk show here and say
- 2:02Speaker 1: it is complicated, NBC brass, This is a multimillion dollar show.
- 2:06Speaker 1: If Kelly wasn't going to do it anymore, and there
- 2:08Speaker 1: was a minute there where it looked like Kelly would
- 2:10Speaker 1: not go forward. She took some time off, but now
- 2:14Speaker 1: she's back she's at thirty Rocks, she's doing the show,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and she's sniffing around noticing. Yeah, God, a minute here.
- 2:24Speaker 2: This story.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 3: But you know what, though, I think that there's a
- 2:27Speaker 3: little bit of a problem with this. Like, first of all,
- 2:30Speaker 3: to your point, Kelly herself had been saying off and on.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You know, there's talk about she was tired, she was exhausted.
- 2:36Speaker 2: She might leave the show.
- 2:37Speaker 3: There are a lot of rumors about her literally leaving
- 2:40Speaker 3: the show, which I think that conversation started because of
- 2:43Speaker 3: a lot of things she was telling people because she
- 2:45Speaker 3: was unhappy. So, you know, you can't have it both ways.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You can't on one hand and be like I'm going
- 2:51Speaker 3: to leave this job, but they can't replace me. Which
- 2:54Speaker 3: one is it.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You can't have it both ways. I've left jobs that'll
- 2:59Speaker 1: be furious they replaced. We all did. Let's submit it
- 3:05Speaker 1: notes when you leave a job, you want the company
- 3:07Speaker 1: to fall apart. I could possibly go on with me.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It always does. Hey, if we can go on with that,
- 3:13Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth, I'm sure we're going to be fine without
- 3:15Speaker 1: the Kelly Clarks and showing. So people are replaceable. But
- 3:19Speaker 1: this is a business decision. Once again, Holder, she was
- 3:23Speaker 1: not campaigning for it. So clearly NBC knew there was
- 3:27Speaker 1: a problem and the problem is not over yet. Just
- 3:29Speaker 1: because her husband's past, it does not mean this problem
- 3:32Speaker 1: is over. Kelly is over extended. She's doing way too
- 3:34Speaker 1: many shows. She's doing her live shows, she's doing the voice.
- 3:39Speaker 1: She's also got other things lined a lot on her plate,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and so they are very, very very cautious here. TV bosses.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Look at your schedules, look at your workload, and there's
- 3:51Speaker 1: always somebody waiting in the wings. Maybe they won't be
- 3:55Speaker 1: a full time replacement, but they're always looking. Look when
- 3:58Speaker 1: Wendy Williams, I do friend, Wendy fell apart. It was
- 4:01Speaker 1: heartbreaking and they stopped and I think they handled it
- 4:04Speaker 1: with respect. But they weren't going to look that show
- 4:07Speaker 1: just disappear. They had an hour every day on TV.
- 4:10Speaker 1: What were they going to do? Play cartoons, just leave
- 4:12Speaker 1: it like a black void. They're going to replace it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So Hoda's name came up. I thought Holder actually handled
- 4:18Speaker 1: this with absolute grace. I know she was asked about
- 4:21Speaker 1: it on the Today Show, She went on the Today Show,
- 4:23Speaker 1: she left the Today Show, she went back to plug
- 4:25Speaker 1: her new job. This fitness this, this lifestyle, this grand
- 4:28Speaker 1: called joy. Yes one oh one. I don't know quite
- 4:31Speaker 1: how that is doing yet, but beside the point. But
- 4:33Speaker 1: she went back to plug her app and they asked her, hood,
- 4:36Speaker 1: are you gonna go? Clark said, and she was such
- 4:39Speaker 1: a classic. She said, if I returned to TV, there's
- 4:42Speaker 1: only one place I'd want to be. It's here on
- 4:44Speaker 1: the Today Show. Absolutely lovely. However, a few nights later
- 4:49Speaker 1: she did workch What Happens Live and Andy Khin asked
- 4:52Speaker 1: her and she said, oh, I quite like to have
- 4:54Speaker 1: my own talk show. Story did change a little bit?
- 4:59Speaker 1: I didn't. I agree with you here. You can't be
- 5:01Speaker 1: mad with Hoder? But what do you think? Naughty? So
- 5:04Speaker 1: Hoder and Kelly Clarkson's friendship is over, the trust is
- 5:08Speaker 1: gone there. What do you think? Can we blame holder?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Should we blame Horder just because somebody wants to hire you?
- 5:15Speaker 1: You're really really talented? Can we blame her? Yes? Or no?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob. Our
- 5:22Speaker 1: facebook page is nulty Yossip and be sure to check
- 5:25Speaker 1: back on Monday to hear your results. Hey Corey, what
- 5:29Speaker 1: are you working on?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, well, this story Hilario Baldwin. She's already
- 5:35Speaker 2: he has Hillary Baldwin.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah, she's already becoming like a nightmare on Dancing with
- 5:40Speaker 3: the Stars. You know, she's having a meltdown apparently over
- 5:43Speaker 3: something that's pretty interesting, so as people are noticing, like,
- 5:46Speaker 3: you know, they haven't even really started yet, but the
- 5:49Speaker 3: yoga influencer turned Baldwin a matriarch, reportedly lost it after
- 5:53Speaker 3: being paired with long time, long time pro Gleb Septchenko.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I always try and get that name correct instead of
- 6:00Speaker 3: the breakout newcomer John Ravnick right.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Now who now.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Ravnick used to be Taylor Swift's former aerostoty dancer, so
- 6:08Speaker 3: he's got this big connection to Taylor Swift, which is
- 6:11Speaker 3: instantly probably big for the ratings. And Hilaria is not
- 6:14Speaker 3: happy because she did not get paired with Ravnik, so
- 6:17Speaker 3: she went ballistic one set inside and says she's furious
- 6:21Speaker 3: the producers gave Jen to gave Jan to Jen Affleck,
- 6:24Speaker 3: who's also competing on the show there, and so you know,
- 6:27Speaker 3: she thinks her chances of winning are now dead before
- 6:29Speaker 3: rehearsals even began, because that SWIFTYE fan base is already
- 6:33Speaker 3: sort of in the pocket now, you know the whole
- 6:36Speaker 3: I thought of, like what if Taylor gets involved, and
- 6:38Speaker 3: like if Taylor posts one story on Instagram on Instagram,
- 6:41Speaker 3: people say it's a wrap. The competition's over. Give her,
- 6:44Speaker 3: you know, give the prize to the to the opponent
- 6:46Speaker 3: of Hilaria and not to Hilaria. But listen, I'm just
- 6:48Speaker 3: gonna say this before we move on to you know,
- 6:50Speaker 3: get your perspective on it, Hilario Baldwin. I have not
- 6:54Speaker 3: been able to deal with her since she tried to
- 6:56Speaker 3: mispronounce cucumber with a fake Spanish accent.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Combert, Combert, you're like, girl, you are from Boston.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I can't deal with her on any capacity at this point,
- 7:06Speaker 3: So it's it's a Innaria.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Does it make it easy to adore her? I'm cuting carefully. However,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I think she happens to be right here that none
- 7:17Speaker 1: of them have a chat so called stars. If you
- 7:21Speaker 1: add of all their fan base, it's none of as
- 7:24Speaker 1: big as Taylor Swift's backup that it's that big. Like
- 7:28Speaker 1: to be honest, this pro this dancer is the star.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I don't know who Jen Affleck is. I think she's
- 7:34Speaker 1: hand like the Mormon wives. Miror like whoever you are.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I've never heard it doesn't matter if you have two
- 7:40Speaker 1: left leet r Jenffleck, make a make room on your
- 7:44Speaker 1: shelf for the mirror ball, because it really is going
- 7:48Speaker 1: to go to Taylor Swifts. Hilariu might being care. I
- 7:52Speaker 1: would be so angry if I got on the show
- 7:54Speaker 1: and then I turned around Taylor Swifts. Yeah, they don't stand.
- 8:01Speaker 1: It will be fun to watch, I know, Hilaria Hillary
- 8:04Speaker 1: is you know, you know she's going to do a
- 8:07Speaker 1: Spanish dance. She's gonna have a with the rose and
- 8:09Speaker 1: her mouth, the rose and a cucumber you be able
- 8:13Speaker 1: to pronounce, and she'll have a castanets. She wants to
- 8:17Speaker 1: is Lebanita. I've seen Madonna, like I see, I seen
- 8:21Speaker 1: She's shameless, and I sort of like that about her.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I mean, she bugs me. Don't get me wrong, I
- 8:25Speaker 1: think she's ridiculous. But Corey, I just giggle at those
- 8:29Speaker 1: Bethany Frankl type celebrities that are just Bethany.
- 8:34Speaker 3: At least with Bethany, she did like establish something like
- 8:37Speaker 3: a brand.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And and I don't want to just.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Like I don't want to be mean, like like a
- 8:42Speaker 3: mean girl to Hilaria. But you know, her claim to
- 8:44Speaker 3: fame now is that she married Alec Baldwin, So she's
- 8:46Speaker 3: really gotta yeah, and she's really gotta kind of win
- 8:49Speaker 3: the press over because she hasn't had a track.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Run with it so far.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Do you think Alex he's gonna have to sit on
- 8:56Speaker 1: the fruit road? Yes, yes, one hundred percent yes, and
- 8:59Speaker 1: he's to call his friends to sit there to people
- 9:01Speaker 1: don't know who she is. The reality show they just
- 9:03Speaker 1: did with the kids the Baldwins was his name. We
- 9:05Speaker 1: were watching for Alec.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, not that many people.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I don't even think if Alex was on Dancing with
- 9:10Speaker 1: the Stars he'd do so well. I just think that
- 9:12Speaker 1: know what Taylor Swift, if you're listening, Hellola Loolo, Taylor
- 9:16Speaker 1: Swift might not the other Dad's floor, but she just
- 9:18Speaker 1: won Day with the Stars. Okay, Moving along. Paris Jackson
- 9:23Speaker 1: is going to torpedo the new Michael Jackson movie. They
- 9:25Speaker 1: spent one hundred million dollars on the New Michael Jackson movie. However,
- 9:29Speaker 1: his twenty seven year old daughter is making it clear
- 9:33Speaker 1: that she wants no part of the project, and she
- 9:36Speaker 1: is She's saying this very very publicly. So Coleman Domingo,
- 9:40Speaker 1: who I love. He bragged that Paris had been very,
- 9:43Speaker 1: very helpful. He plays Michael's dad in the new In
- 9:47Speaker 1: the new film, Paris said, I had no involvement at speak.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm just like, what are you talking about that? Paris
- 9:53Speaker 1: would under say she actually read the script and she
- 9:55Speaker 1: didn't really like it, and she sent them some notes
- 9:58Speaker 1: and they ignored her. So she's got nothing to do
- 10:00Speaker 1: with this. It's very, very difficult when you do a
- 10:03Speaker 1: movie about a celebrity and they have family members surviving,
- 10:07Speaker 1: because if you're going to do the movie, well, you're
- 10:09Speaker 1: going to tell part of the story that the family
- 10:10Speaker 1: are not gonna like Michael Jackson's a very very controversial
- 10:14Speaker 1: person here. It's not the Doris Day story, Like, this
- 10:16Speaker 1: is a story about somebody who's really controversial. That's why
- 10:19Speaker 1: Madonna is producing her own movie. That's why Madonna is writing,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it's producing, it's casting it like it's really the Madonna protection.
- 10:26Speaker 1: She wants her story told the way she wants it told.
- 10:29Speaker 1: This is the Michael Jackson estate. They had to get
- 10:31Speaker 1: the rights for the music, but not everything in it
- 10:34Speaker 1: is glowing, and neither should it be. I find those
- 10:37Speaker 1: documentaries that are just love letters to be really really boring.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's the gritty ones. It's the ones that really admit
- 10:43Speaker 1: the truth. That's why I like the Billy Joel documentary.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It really shows his struggles with alcohol and drugs, and
- 10:48Speaker 1: he didn't paint himself as a hero. I understand why
- 10:51Speaker 1: Paris wants to saint her dad. I think it's kind
- 10:54Speaker 1: of a sweet thing, but it's just not the reality,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and it would make a really boring film.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's a lot like.
- 11:00Speaker 3: The And I'll admit I did not see it, but
- 11:02Speaker 3: I heard the Whitney Houston biopic. You know, people said
- 11:06Speaker 3: it was sort of like, you know, they didn't understand
- 11:08Speaker 3: why that was even made. It was a bit it
- 11:10Speaker 3: didn't give you what people really wanted.
- 11:12Speaker 1: That drugs. Yeah, the barely mentioned drugs. They completely punintended
- 11:20Speaker 1: with white ones white. It was literally like, I was like,
- 11:23Speaker 1: what's I think this could be a great film and
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm glad they told the truth. And I think Paris
- 11:29Speaker 1: being angry about it, I don't think it will hurt
- 11:30Speaker 1: it that much.
- 11:31Speaker 2: What do you think? No, I don't think so.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I mean, unfortunately, she doesn't really have I mean I
- 11:34Speaker 3: hate to say it, but she doesn't have the power
- 11:36Speaker 3: to stop it. And I don't know how much credibility
- 11:39Speaker 3: people this is this. I don't want this to be
- 11:41Speaker 3: taken the wrong way, but there is something about Paris
- 11:44Speaker 3: has always been very.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Polarizing to people.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I'm not sure what it is, and even honestly, but
- 11:50Speaker 3: some people they were angry because she was so fair skinned,
- 11:54Speaker 3: claiming that she was not even his real biological order.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I don't know what that story is, but the point
- 11:58Speaker 3: is this, she's got all this other bag get you
- 12:00Speaker 3: with her that when it comes to Michael Jackson, he's
- 12:02Speaker 3: so beloved. People are looking at her almost like she's
- 12:05Speaker 3: the impostor because we grew up. We grew up with
- 12:07Speaker 3: him before she even was in the picture, so he
- 12:09Speaker 3: belongs to us. And that is some of the sentiment
- 12:12Speaker 3: that I am hearing. And it's interesting.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I can tell you've been doing television. You're so smart today,
- 12:18Speaker 1: you got your smart odd, Okay, tell us about this
- 12:25Speaker 1: Super Bowl performance. Sources are saying the NFL are leaning
- 12:29Speaker 1: on Travis Kelcey to deliver Taylor Swift.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Yes, Insider's tail hashtags, you'd rescoop that. Commissioner Roger Goodell
- 12:36Speaker 3: and the league bosses, the NFL league bosses. They are
- 12:40Speaker 3: quietly leaning on Travis Kelsey to land the halftime show
- 12:44Speaker 3: headliner of their dreams his fiance Taylor Swift.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Now, I have to admit, this is one of those things.
- 12:50Speaker 3: It's like a once in a lifetime sort of the
- 12:53Speaker 3: planets are aligned so rare. To quote my beloved to
- 12:57Speaker 3: live in Newton, John. You know, it's a moment where
- 13:00Speaker 3: like a star player is engaged to the biggest pop
- 13:04Speaker 3: star in the world.
- 13:05Speaker 2: She just finished a big tour and you know.
- 13:08Speaker 3: She's dropping a new album, her big show Girl album's
- 13:11Speaker 3: coming up soon.
- 13:11Speaker 2: So listen.
- 13:12Speaker 3: If they want to try and get Taylor Swift on
- 13:15Speaker 3: that stage, Travis is the one to deliver her. And
- 13:18Speaker 3: you know they're saying it's a possibility. They're putting the
- 13:20Speaker 3: pressure on him to do it. I'm not sure if
- 13:23Speaker 3: she will. But what do you think rab you think
- 13:25Speaker 3: she'll do it.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I think she's gonna do it. I do think she's
- 13:27Speaker 1: going to do it. And I don't mind this here.
- 13:29Speaker 1: If anybody can deliver deliver.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Taylor Swift, it's Travis Travis.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But he's gonna get used to this. When you are
- 13:37Speaker 1: Kayti engaged married to a superstart? People are going to
- 13:42Speaker 1: ask favous. My husband is a very successful in the
- 13:45Speaker 1: music business. He's not Taylor Swift. He's very successful. The
- 13:47Speaker 1: amount of people that are nice to be to him
- 13:51Speaker 1: free to get I can, so I'm quite selective. Well,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I when I do the bidding for you. When I
- 13:58Speaker 1: when I do, I think, here, Travis, I would if
- 14:01Speaker 1: you're listening to low Loolow, I would advise the NFL
- 14:04Speaker 1: to go through official channels. That's what I always do.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's like, just because I know that person, go through
- 14:09Speaker 1: their publicists, go for their managers. I have nothing to
- 14:12Speaker 1: do with their business. I'm personally friends with a few celebrities,
- 14:15Speaker 1: but I'm not their manager. I'm not their publicist, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: so I always recommend. But if I can do you
- 14:21Speaker 1: a little favor, if I can rehire a little text
- 14:23Speaker 1: that to get you on, I will do it. So
- 14:27Speaker 1: I do help my friends act. This would be great
- 14:29Speaker 1: for Travis too. I think he's going to retire after
- 14:32Speaker 1: the season. Can you imagine if he's at the Super
- 14:34Speaker 1: Bowl and she performs, it would be thirty five I'm
- 14:39Speaker 1: told in football that's like it's amazing isn't it. I
- 14:44Speaker 1: think that this can be tricky. I totally understand why
- 14:47Speaker 1: they are doing it. It's very complicated. Think about your
- 14:51Speaker 1: friends who want to freebe or something from your partner,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and I'm sort of like, ah, he's gonna get used
- 14:56Speaker 1: to it there, because this is not just going to
- 14:58Speaker 1: be the NFL. Everybody now who wants to get to
- 15:01Speaker 1: Taylor Swift who have not been able to told you
- 15:04Speaker 1: to go to Travis. I might do him and him
- 15:07Speaker 1: myself and see if I can get a signed a
- 15:09Speaker 1: copy of that new album. Imagine if you've had access
- 15:14Speaker 1: to Travis, Can I get tickets to the tour? Can
- 15:16Speaker 1: I see her in Chicago? Can?
- 15:18Speaker 2: I would be sure his family, he's probably got the people.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Corey, when you when your record career explodes, I'm going
- 15:29Speaker 1: to bother you for tickets all the time.
- 15:32Speaker 2: You aren't anybody. Thank you.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:34Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the naughty nice yours
- 15:38Speaker 1: to hey, let's get through the polls. Last Chevy told
- 15:41Speaker 1: you the meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry has
- 15:43Speaker 1: practically collapsed. Harry is going to be in London next
- 15:46Speaker 1: week for a charity event. Unfortunately, it's on the anniversary
- 15:49Speaker 1: of the Queen's death, So it looks like the King
- 15:51Speaker 1: is going to be up at Belle Marl That's where
- 15:53Speaker 1: they often spend spend time. It was the Queen's favorite place,
- 15:56Speaker 1: it's where she died, it's where she passed. So I
- 15:58Speaker 1: think the family is going to be up there. But
- 16:00Speaker 1: Goutland's only a few hours away from London. On a
- 16:02Speaker 1: plane like you can get you can, you can fly
- 16:04Speaker 1: up there in no time at all. And let's face it,
- 16:06Speaker 1: they can afford a private plane. They've got the royal plane.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So if they wanted this meeting to happen, it could happen.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Neither one of them really wanted to happen. It's like
- 16:14Speaker 1: when I say let's do drinks and I don't give
- 16:16Speaker 1: you a date, that means I don't really want it
- 16:18Speaker 1: to happen. It's the truth. Yeah, Cory, let's get a drink,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but I don't actually say what I know that happening.
- 16:26Speaker 1: And so who's the blame here? Is it? King Charles
- 16:29Speaker 1: or Prince Harry? Seventy percent said Harry, I'm surprised there.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I thought you might have said Charles, But yes, naught.
- 16:36Speaker 1: They think it is Harry. Okay, don't I think it's
- 16:40Speaker 1: about trust.
- 16:41Speaker 2: The can't trust. It's about trust.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Those loose talks too much. Ok don't forget to vote
- 16:49Speaker 1: on today's pole. Will go to our Twitter page at
- 16:51Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rama Facebook pages not igossive and be sure
- 16:54Speaker 1: that you have a Monday to hear your results. And
- 16:58Speaker 1: now it's time for noises of the day. This first
- 17:05Speaker 1: is going to sign a little bit odd. You might
- 17:06Speaker 1: not think it's nice for the reason it's nice. The
- 17:09Speaker 1: reason this is nice is that if you have a
- 17:12Speaker 1: political view, if you have an opinion, step up and
- 17:14Speaker 1: do something. How many of us just sit back and
- 17:17Speaker 1: don't alone We complain, but we don't actually, And so
- 17:21Speaker 1: that's why I think this is the nicest of the day.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah, because it is. It is a borderline one for me.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I don't know, but yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 3: So it's about Don Lemon and he is eyeing Congress,
- 17:31Speaker 3: you know, because apparently after he had his settlement with CNN,
- 17:34Speaker 3: he is cashed.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh I think the reported like.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Almost twenty five million dollars he got out of that settlement.
- 17:40Speaker 3: So I'm like, yes, fire me any day if that's
- 17:42Speaker 3: going to be my cash out check. So yeah, but
- 17:44Speaker 3: he's also very into politics. Obviously we know that, right,
- 17:48Speaker 3: We know how passionate he was about politics. So some
- 17:51Speaker 3: people are saying, no, that he's.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Ambitious as well as hell, and.
- 17:55Speaker 3: He's got the name, he's got a big ego which
- 17:58Speaker 3: is perfect for being a politician. And he also has
- 18:00Speaker 3: a lot of money so he can actually kind of
- 18:02Speaker 3: finance his on campaign. So now after his twenty twenty
- 18:05Speaker 3: three ouster, you know, he packages he got this big
- 18:08Speaker 3: money and he's now looking to maybe replace Nadler's seat
- 18:12Speaker 3: in New York City.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and so he may.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Nadler just has now of he's retiring, and donal Lemon
- 18:18Speaker 3: thinks he might want to get in there. You know,
- 18:20Speaker 3: he thinks he's perfect. He thinks he's perfect. Don thinks
- 18:23Speaker 3: he's got the New York roots. Now he's got the
- 18:24Speaker 3: TV polish, he loves a good fight, and he sees
- 18:28Speaker 3: Congress as maybe his new stage.
- 18:30Speaker 2: What do you think about that?
- 18:31Speaker 1: I think if you think you can make the world better,
- 18:33Speaker 1: do it. There is so much ugliness in politics, there
- 18:35Speaker 1: really really is. I wish I had the money, the time,
- 18:39Speaker 1: the desire, the ego to get off my bottom and
- 18:42Speaker 1: make a difference. And I'm afraid it is just too
- 18:44Speaker 1: ugly a world for me. You think show business is rough,
- 18:47Speaker 1: politics is a nasty, nasty, nasty Jerry Nadler is my congressman.
- 18:51Speaker 1: He represents this part of tiny represent He represents this
- 18:55Speaker 1: part of time well. And Don lives in this part
- 18:57Speaker 1: of time. He leaves at Hudson Yard. So this is
- 18:59Speaker 1: actually is districts the luck. Okay, now I noticed the
- 19:02Speaker 1: dag naughty naughteen. The Sherry Show will not address their
- 19:06Speaker 1: executive producer leaving to the Shew returns on September eighteenth.
- 19:11Speaker 1: John Murray is on the show, or has been on
- 19:13Speaker 1: the show for a couple of years. He's the EP,
- 19:15Speaker 1: but it's also Sherry's best friend and right hand He
- 19:18Speaker 1: has now exited the show. If you want to know why,
- 19:20Speaker 1: check out my substack. But I'm told the Zero plans
- 19:23Speaker 1: to mention his name at the top of the show
- 19:25Speaker 1: when they return. This is a terrible mistake. You can't
- 19:28Speaker 1: just have somebody vanish from the show. And so Sherry,
- 19:31Speaker 1: if you're listening, hello, al and we do wish you
- 19:33Speaker 1: the best. I have so much respect for her. I
- 19:35Speaker 1: think she's going to be great with John, but you
- 19:37Speaker 1: got to confront the elephant in them and not is
- 19:41Speaker 1: the day.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Let's end with a moment.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Solve it or leave it, but don't live with it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Problems don't disappear because you ignore them, Sherry. They drain you,
- 19:51Speaker 1: they weigh you down, and they steal your piece. You've
- 19:54Speaker 1: got two choices. Solve the problem, face it, fix it
- 19:58Speaker 1: and move forward. Leave the problem, walk away, let it
- 20:02Speaker 1: go and free yourself. But there's one thing you cannot do,
- 20:06Speaker 1: and that's live with the problem. That's how people stay stuck.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Your piece is too valuable to waste on what you
- 20:13Speaker 1: won't confront. So decide, fix it or release it, but
- 20:17Speaker 1: don't you dare carry it. That is it for this week.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to the Non Even
