The Brother Kite "Waiting For The Time To Be Right" - SIDE A

Where The Living Room Used To Be · Oct 22, 2026 · 1h 24m

This is a fun episode because I was able to connect with 4/5ths of The Brother Kite (Jon Downs, Patrick Boutwell, Matt Rozzero, and Andrea Downs) to celebrate 20 years of their album "Waiting For The Time To Be Right."

This episode covers SIDE A of the album as we reflect back on the making of the album and learn some insight into the sounds and recording techniques used to create this highly-acclaimed record.

I hope you learn as much as I do (so many surprises!!!) and support The Brother Kite by picking up this album we're talking about here, as well as all their incredible records.
