• 6:14
Speaker 1: Okay, these cars sold on the Hemmingscom website, yep, and once a week they put out what was sold and they list the price of the car that they got for it.
• 6:28
Speaker 1: First up is the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette copper colored.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: That is one good looking car, that's a good looking car it is 69.
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: 69.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: Chrome bumpers front and rear.
• 6:40
Speaker 1: It's the last year for that Ready Yep.
• 6:43
Speaker 1: How much do you think that that car sold for Now?
• 6:45
Speaker 1: I don't know all the details.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: It's got white-lettered tires on it, but it does have beauty rings.
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: Nice Beauty ring.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: I love those beauty ring wheels.
• 6:55
  Speaker 4: How much?
• 6:55
  Speaker 4: $46,000.
• 6:58
  Speaker 3: Heisman says $25,000, and I'll go $28,000.
• 7:01
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: How about $11,288?
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: And I'll go $28,000.
• 7:04
Speaker 3: Okay, how about $11,288?
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: $11,488,.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: I'll buy it, I know I can do that on my credit card and you know, all you have to do is go to Hemmingscom and look for the auction, and these cars are all on there.
• 7:15
Speaker 1: Yeah Matter of fact they update them every day You've been searching for a Corvette for a while.
• 7:21
Speaker 3: Well, I wasn't necessarily looking for one like that, but for that price I damn sure look at it.
• 7:24
Speaker 3: One that is not.
• 7:25
Speaker 1: I didn't put it in here, but I should have.
• 7:27
Speaker 3: Oh, here comes the caveat A 1968 Chevy Corvette convertible.
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: Same thing beauty rings on it, white-lettered tires, lots of chrome.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: It's got a big block on it.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: No, no, not that one.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: You didn't pay attention, you, you said you got another one.
• 7:41
Speaker 3: No, he's off track again.
• 7:45
  Speaker 3: He's off road.
• 7:47
Speaker 1: Jeff pays attention to about one-third of what you say.
• 7:49
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm thinking there's a right rear quarter missing on this.
• 7:51
Speaker 4: That's why it went for him.
• 7:52
  Speaker 3: That's what I think.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: Or the T-tops, all right, so the one that I didn't put on there to repeat what I said is a 68 Chevrolet Corvette with a big block in it and a convertible.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: It's blue in color and white Guess what.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: That one went for $46,000.
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: $68,250.
• 8:07
Speaker 4: That's the one I was bidding on.
• 8:08
  Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it.
• 8:09
Speaker 3: You were reading ahead.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: I was reading ahead Now let's go to the next one.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: Okay, this is a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro.
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: I like it.
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: It says it's a Z28.
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: Is it Probably?
• 8:19
  Speaker 4: Hopefully so.
• 8:20
Speaker 4: No, z28 didn't have those push bumpers on it.
• 8:24
  Speaker 3: For a 73?
• 8:26
Speaker 3: I think it did no.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: I think that that was an option and I think that you can buy those after.
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: But I'm just saying I think that they put those on.
• 8:33
Speaker 1: Oh, that's a deduct, because if you remember, the model prior to that didn't have that guard there in front of it.
• 8:39
Speaker 4: Right that split bumper?
• 8:39
Speaker 1: Yes, but they crashed the bumper and there was no bumper.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: They crashed through the grill and that whole thing up there in the front and that's why they put those on there.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: Okay, 73 Chevy Camaro Z28, white, black, black interior.
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: How much?
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: $18,000 $18,000.
• 8:55
Speaker 3: Ooh, heisman says 33, and I'll stick with my.
• 8:58
  Speaker 3: That's a pretty good number, I'll go with 31.
• 9:04
Speaker 1: Is George not joining us today?
• 9:06
Speaker 1: No, george isn't here.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: So 1973 Chevy Camaro Z28 sold on Hemings Sold Cars for $45,455.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: Why would this one go more than the other one, Because this is probably an all-original.
• 9:20
Speaker 3: It's very well done and I can see it, those wheels.
• 9:23
Speaker 3: I mean it didn't have the ring-type wheels.
• 9:25
Speaker 3: I mean there's some things on.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Actually, I believe that is a ring, a beauty ring that you had, yeah, but it's more of a spoke wheel than the other.
• 9:34
  Speaker 4: I understand and I think 73 was a one-year only.
• 9:38
  Speaker 3: Okay, well, whatever.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: Whatever Moving on, yeah, Next up is the 1969 Mercury Cyclone.
• 9:46
Speaker 1: I picked this for you.
• 9:47
Speaker 1: I love those cars, those are nice.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: So when I worked at Richardson Chevrolet that I had the dispatcher that assigned everybody all of the work in the shop, he had one of these.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: Now he didn't have the CJ, which is a Cobra Jet 428.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy, Because when he had his they didn't offer that.
• 10:08
Speaker 1: So this is a rarity to begin with.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: That is a good-looking big car.
• 10:13
Speaker 1: 69 Mercury Cyclone went for how much Mars?
• 10:17
Speaker 3: Heisman says 39, and I'll go with 45.
• 10:21
Speaker 3: If it was a 429 CJ you'd be up over 100.
• 10:25
  Speaker 3: It's a 428 CJ, I know I'll go with 45.
• 10:28
Speaker 3: My answer is 39.
• 10:29
  Speaker 3: I'm going to go 52.
• 10:31
  Speaker 4: 31.5.
• 10:32
  Speaker 4: I should have went 38, but I went 52.
• 10:34
  Speaker 4: 31.5.
• 10:36
Speaker 3: Man that's got a back seat big enough you could go parking and everything, oh yeah.
• 10:41
Speaker 1: And I'm sure that you did.
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: 78 Jeep Cherokee.
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: 78 Jeep Cherokee.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: Now it doesn't have the optional vinyl wood siding on it, but it does have a nice stripe on it.
• 10:55
Speaker 1: It looks completely stock A 78.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: I don't know, it's probably got a million miles on it, but it looks clean.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, 78 Jeep Cherokee.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: How much do you think that you'd get for that?
• 11:07
  Speaker 3: $9,000.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: Mars, I'm going to say 15.
• 11:10
  Speaker 3: 15?
• 11:11
Speaker 3: What did Heitzman say?
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: 27.
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: 18,113.
• 11:16
Speaker 1: See, this is the exact reason why I don't understand why you guys Heitzman, Mars, jeff don't buy into something like this.
• 11:25
Speaker 1: It's affordable what would I do with it Exactly.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: Here is the one.
• 11:31
Speaker 1: Here is the one for you, jeff.
• 11:33
Speaker 1: Oh boy, good day.
• 11:37
Speaker 1: You want to guess what that is?
• 11:38
Speaker 1: That's a Range Rover, it's a Land Rover Range Rover, and the year model is 1993.
• 11:47
Speaker 4: How much do you think that that sold for $17,000.
• 11:49
Speaker 4: Wow, okay, morris Me.
• 11:51
Speaker 3: He's got Discovery tires.
• 11:52
  Speaker 3: I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm looking.
• 11:55
  Speaker 4: I don't know what they're worth.
• 11:57
Speaker 3: I'm going to go with $14,000.
• 12:00
  Speaker 3: Heisman says $27,000.
• 12:01
Speaker 1: If Leslie is, watching, cover your eyes.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: I know you like Land Rovers but Ohman says 44.
• 12:06
  Speaker 3: Excuse me.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: This thing sold for $1,600.
• 12:14
  Speaker 4: I want 17.
• 12:14
Speaker 4: They probably pushed it on the driveway there.
• 12:17
Speaker 3: No motor, no transmission, I don't know.
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: I don't know, I didn't go that far.
• 12:22
Speaker 4: This one Hell, the luggage rack, is worth more than that, yeah.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: The ugly luggage rack.
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: What is?
• 12:27
Speaker 3: that in the back seat A body, a dog.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: This one caught my attention and I was talking to my cop pilot and he said, oh yeah, and this was about the year that Ford flew us up there to the proving grounds outside of Dearborn and they had just come out with this, a 2019 Ford Explorer with the cop package on it, and they put us on the skid pad, the water side of the skid pad.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: They said you drive it.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: I said no, no, now I'm not skilled enough to do that.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: So they put a driver from Ford in there, had that thing sideways at 80 miles an hour on that watered-down skid pad and let me tell you something, it was flat as a rock.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: That thing is bad to the bone.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: 3.5-liter EcoBoost interceptor motor how much do you think that that sold for?
• 13:22
Speaker 1: It had 33,000 miles on it and I guess it comes with the bumpers and the lights and everything.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: No telling how many hours on it.
• 13:27
Speaker 3: I guess it comes with the bumpers and the lights and everything, no telling how many hours on it.
• 13:28
  Speaker 3: Idling hours.

• 13:53
Speaker 1: I would buy that.
• 13:54
Speaker 1: If it were a black and white, I'd buy it Just to say I have it.
• 13:58
Speaker 1: I know a guy that has it.
• 14:01
Speaker 3: I know a guy that can put a wrap on it.
• 14:02
Speaker 3: No, no, black and white, we do.
• 14:04
Speaker 1: I know somebody that bought one.

• 14:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, paid like five grand for it, had 100,000 miles on it, black and white.
• 14:18
Speaker 1: They took the stickers off of it but it was still black and white.
• 14:20
Speaker 1: You see it coming.
• 14:21
Speaker 1: You're thinking, oh God, I'm getting pulled over.
• 14:23
Speaker 3: No, you ought to lift your foot off the gas, no matter what.
• 14:26
  Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
• 14:27
Speaker 3: You'll be 10 miles an hour under the speed limit and you're still going to slow down.
• 14:30
  Speaker 3: Exactly.
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: Next up a 1972 Ford 250.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: So this is a three-quarter ton single cab, because they didn't make anything other than that 1972 Ford 250.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: It's clean, it looks all stock.
• 14:47
Speaker 3: Kind of looks like a long wheelbase, but maybe not.
• 14:50
  Speaker 3: No, it is.
• 14:51
Speaker 3: It is, candice, a little bit of help here.
• 14:53
Speaker 3: It's got fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.

• 15:21
Speaker 1: Next up next up.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy, now for me this is my era Chilling wagon.
• 15:33
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, they've converted it, but this is an old milk truck, a Divco milk truck from 1948.
• 15:40
Speaker 1: But it's clean, no rust, which is rare for an old milk truck, because the whole back end, you know, they refrigerated them with big ice blocks Leaking, rusting and all that, all that Seal test that reminds me of seal test.
• 15:53
Speaker 1: Well, yes, and they've turned it into an ice cream truck, one that you go down the street and sell ice cream to the kids $10,000.
• 16:00
  Speaker 4: Maybe, $11,000.
• 16:01
Speaker 4: It would hold all of our stuff.
• 16:03
  Speaker 4: It would.
• 16:03
Speaker 1: It would hold all of our stuff.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: It would A Divco how much $11.
• 16:07
Speaker 1: You know what I'd do with it.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: I'd turn it into a liquor thing.
• 16:11
Speaker 1: You'd sell your tequilas and your margaritas out of there.
• 16:15
Speaker 1: A booze machine, shot wagon, shot wagon.
• 16:17
  Speaker 4: I got $11, Mike so.
• 16:18
  Speaker 3: Jeff says $13.
• 16:19
  Speaker 3: Candice says $75.
• 16:20
  Speaker 3: I'm going to go $15.
• 16:22
  Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, well.
• 16:22
Speaker 1: Candice is closer than all of you.
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: What it's sold for $42,000.
• 16:27
Speaker 4: No she said $7,500.
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: $7,500.
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: Oh, $7,500.
• 16:31
Speaker 1: My bad, I'm sorry.
• 16:31
Speaker 1: $42,000 is what it's sold for.
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: It's got a Chevy V8 in it.
• 16:35
Speaker 1: This thing originally had a little weak four-cylinder motor in it.
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 16:41
Speaker 1: No, it's got automatic transmission and a small block shifter.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: What does it say on the top?
• 16:45
  Speaker 4: Something.
• 16:45
Speaker 4: Ice cream truck on the front Chill wagon.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: It's the chill wagon truck.
• 16:51
Speaker 3: Anyway, next up, oh, the fastest ice cream truck on the.
• 16:55
Speaker 4: Is it a Megs?
• 16:55
  Speaker 4: Whatever?
• 16:59
Speaker 1: Well, it is not a Meyers Megs, because if it were, that would change the marketplace.
• 17:04
Speaker 1: So I'm going to tell you that this thing is clean.
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: It's a dune buggy.
• 17:11
Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, it's a 1959 Volkswagen with a dune buggy body in it.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, fireless, but it doesn't look like it's been the wheel measurement.
• 17:28
Speaker 1: It hasn't been chopped up.
• 17:29
  Speaker 4: No.
• 17:31
Speaker 3: Well, it had to be chopped to put the body on.
• 17:33
Speaker 3: It had to be shortened the wheelbase Not necessarily.
• 17:35
Speaker 3: Yeah for that body, because I had one.
• 17:37
Speaker 3: I had two of them actually.
• 17:39
Speaker 1: Well, this is not a Myers-Manks.
• 17:40
Speaker 3: No, no, go ahead.
• 17:42
Speaker 1: So, how much is your bid for the 59 Volkswagen Dune Buggy?
• 17:44
Speaker 4: Ten grand because it's got a Corvette gas cap on it.
• 17:47
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 17:49
  Speaker 3: Heisman says $12,000.
• 17:50
Speaker 3: But I'll tell you, the motor is what makes the difference in the price.
• 17:55
  Speaker 1: I'll go with.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: It's got a stock VW motor in it.
• 17:57
Speaker 1: Oh, it can't have.
• 17:57
Speaker 1: Okay, it doesn't have.
• 18:00
  Speaker 1: Thank you, I'm going $15,000.
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: Well, guess what?
• 18:04
  Speaker 3: 15, 225 is what it's sold like Candice hit 7,000.
• 18:08
Speaker 4: Because you had two of them.
• 18:09
Speaker 4: That's how you know that.
• 18:10
Speaker 4: Yep, I did there you go.
• 18:13
Speaker 1: And there we go, tore, both of them up, so I thought that you guys would enjoy that this week, yep.

• 20:09
Speaker 4: Just in case you were, yeah, and I pushed the wrong button.
• 20:12
Speaker 4: I was focused on you and I was trying to do this.
• 20:15
Speaker 2: Anyways, technical difficulties Did you have a little moment.
• 20:17
  Speaker 2: I had a little moment.
• 20:18
  Speaker 4: I did have a moment.
• 20:19
  Speaker 4: You did.
• 20:19
  Speaker 4: It's my age.
• 20:20
Speaker 4: Hey, in Real Time, hits the road again.
• 20:23
Speaker 1: Our next stop is at Granbury for the Lone Star Street Rod Association State Run.
• 20:27
Speaker 1: Join our live broadcast on June 14th, 9 to noon.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: Thanks for being with us today here on the In Wheel Time Car Talk Show.
• 20:34
Speaker 1: Time now for Jeff's car culture.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: Banned, crushed and forgotten muscle.
• 20:38
  Speaker 4: That's right.
• 20:39
Speaker 4: So not every muscle car made it to glory.
• 20:41
Speaker 4: Some were banned before they even hit the streets, others were quietly crushed after their moment had passed.
• 20:49
Speaker 4: So this first one up on the block is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL1.
• 20:53
Speaker 4: The 69 ZL1 was technically a production car, but just barely.
• 20:58
Speaker 4: Chevy built just two of these, powered with an all-aluminum 427 V8 designated for racing.
• 21:05
Speaker 4: The engine alone added $4,000 to the price, doubling the cost of that standard Corvette and that year-made model.
• 21:12
Speaker 4: Too expensive, too aggressive for the public roads, the ZL1 faded into obscurity and it just went away.
• 21:19
Speaker 1: Well, it didn't fade that much because you got it on this thing.
• 21:21
Speaker 4: Well, both examples survived, but they're in private collections and not used.
• 21:27
Speaker 4: So next one 71, Ford Torino.
• 21:31
Speaker 4: King Cobra Ford's response to the Dodge Charger, Daytona and the Superbird was the Torino King Cobra Ford's response to the Dodge Charger.
• 21:36
Speaker 4: Daytona and the Superbird was the Torino King Cobra Sleek fastback and radically sloped nose, designed for NASCAR aerodynamics.
• 21:44
Speaker 4: Only three prototypes were built before NASCAR changed the rules after they built them.
• 21:50
Speaker 4: It said no more.
• 21:51
Speaker 4: No more of that.
• 21:52
Speaker 4: With the program scrapped, the King Cobra never reached production.
• 21:55
Speaker 4: The prototypes were quietly shelved and the 429 jet engine silenced before they could make the headlines.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: I wonder where that car is today.
• 22:05
  Speaker 4: It's a museum piece, it's a museum piece 65, pontiac Catalina 2 Plus 2.
• 22:10
Speaker 2: I remember these 421 high output I remember these.
• 22:13
Speaker 4: I love that car.
• 22:13
Speaker 4: Pontiac's Catalina 2 Plus 2 was built to move, especially when equipped with a 421 high output engine making 376 horsepower at a time.
• 22:23
Speaker 4: Though it was a full-size coupe, it had quarter-mile performance that rivaled mid-size muscle cars but overshadowed by its GTO sibling.
• 22:32
Speaker 4: So it's a little bit smaller on the GTO side, but that's a beautiful car.
• 22:35
  Speaker 4: Plus, it's a ragtop.
• 22:36
  Speaker 4: That's good.
• 22:36
Speaker 4: Next one we're going to go to Mike is the 71 AMC Matador machine.
• 22:42
Speaker 4: The machine AMC planned to follow up with the Rebel machine with a more aggressive Matador version in 71.
• 22:49
Speaker 4: The idea was to carry over the machine's 401 V8 and the graphics, but marketing didn't back it.
• 22:56
Speaker 4: They didn't like it.
• 22:56
Speaker 4: A few prototypes were made but the project quietly died before mass production.
• 23:01
Speaker 4: What's left of the Matador machine concept is mostly photos, paperwork and a few scattered parts no one completed.
• 23:08
Speaker 1: No known completed cars have survived, making it one of the strangest AMCs there is Now wait just a minute, that's a late model Tahoe back there in the back.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: So somebody's got that dead car.
• 23:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody's got that there, but that's just what I can tell you.
• 23:20
Speaker 4: Okay, maybe it's a Photoshop, it could be.
• 23:22
Speaker 4: 1966 Fairlane GTX prototype.
• 23:26
Speaker 4: This Fairlane was a Ford prototype created to bridge the gap between the Mustang and the full-size Galaxy.
• 23:31
  Speaker 1: so what is?
• 23:32
Speaker 1: The valve covers that have shot through the uh what the hell is that loose bolts?
• 23:37
Speaker 3: I think it's been recalled uh no, but if you think about, if you think about the, the later models of the roadrunner and stuff, they had hoods not like that.
• 23:46
Speaker 3: That's not near that tall, but I mean or it wore unique badging, interior trim reported.
• 23:52
Speaker 4: Uh reportedly tested a few suspension tweaks that would later show up on the GT and the Cobra models.
• 23:57
Speaker 4: It never intended for production, but after a few developmental changes it was reportedly destroyed.
• 24:03
Speaker 4: What makes it interesting is how the little photographic evidence remains.
• 24:07
Speaker 4: One of these cars you hear about engineering's, performed executives, all that good stuff.
• 24:11
Speaker 4: No one knows where it went.
• 24:13
Speaker 4: That is a new Explorer or something.
• 24:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's an Expedition or something.
• 24:19
Speaker 1: There you go 73.
• 24:22
Speaker 4: Somebody has that car.
• 24:23
Speaker 4: 73 Pontiac Trans Am SD 455 with an aluminum block, or, as they say, aluminum block.
• 24:28
Speaker 4: Sd was Super Duty.
• 24:30
Speaker 4: Super Duty 455 is already a rare piece of Pontiac history.
• 24:34
Speaker 4: But there's a subset of prototypes that took things further.
• 24:38
Speaker 4: A handful of pre-production cars were fitted with experimental aluminum blocks for weight savings and better heat distribution.
• 24:45
Speaker 4: Only a few were ever built and most were destroyed after testing.
• 24:50
Speaker 4: None were sold to the public.
• 24:52
Speaker 4: Rumors persisted about one surviving car in private hands, but nothing has been confirmed.
• 24:57
  Speaker 4: That's a pretty car.
• 24:58
Speaker 4: I like that car.
• 24:59
Speaker 1: Well, that would be easy to do.
• 25:01
Speaker 1: You could hide that all-aluminum V8 underneath the hood.
• 25:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, even though it was just a regular Trans Am at the time, or a Camaro or Firebird, whatever.
• 25:10
Speaker 3: All the externals, and there's companies that make the retro.
• 25:13
Speaker 4: They'll take a new Camaro and they'll make it look with the old body, styling and stuff.
• 25:16
Speaker 4: It's still new, but they'll make it kind of retro looking, that's no fun.
• 25:20
Speaker 3: I had an aluminum block car one time.
• 25:21
Speaker 3: It was the lightweight, I understand, but it always had a heating problem.
• 25:27
Speaker 3: You had to be careful that you didn't cook the engine, because it just didn't take much to heat it up.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: Well, you're probably using the mechanical fan on the front there of the motor.
• 25:36
  Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely 1963.
• 25:39
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, they didn't have electric fans back then.
• 25:41
Speaker 3: They didn't invent them back, then so it was.
• 25:49
Speaker 1: You know I could see why they tried it, but it didn't work so good.
• 25:51
Speaker 1: Well, mr Morris, you know I really was looking forward to the Houston hidden, houston family things, driving destinations.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: So we're not going to do it here.
• 25:58
Speaker 1: Why Could do it on the next episode.
• 25:59
Speaker 1: Well, can you get it in in a couple of minutes?
• 26:02
Speaker 1: No, no See that's why I say so, just trust me with what I'm doing here.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Mars never looks at the clock, but I do.
• 26:08
Speaker 1: Thank goodness for me and me, and what we're going to do is we're going to move you to the next segment.
• 26:17
  Speaker 4: After Jack.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: Well, we can move him to the third hour.
• 26:24
Speaker 1: No, we're not doing a third hour today.
• 26:26
Speaker 3: I think that's the point no, we're going to move.
• 26:29
Speaker 2: He's right over there.
• 26:31
  Speaker 1: God, almighty.
• 26:31
Speaker 1: So you know it's hot in this studio Because I didn't turn the air conditioning on until early this morning and it was too late.
• 26:39
Speaker 1: I got home last night, I was tired, I went to bed and completely forgot about the studio.
• 26:43
Speaker 1: No complaints over here.
• 26:44
Speaker 1: I'm comfy, Me too.
• 26:46
Speaker 1: Of course you are.
• 26:46
Speaker 1: You know old men.
• 26:47
Speaker 1: They got to have your blankets and stuff like that.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: What's the temperature in here?
• 26:50
  Speaker 1: 85.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: Can you turn it up?
• 26:56
Speaker 1: Crank it up, birthday boy.
• 26:57
Speaker 1: All right, so I see that Jack Nerad is standing by.
• 27:01
Speaker 4: He is present and accounted for.
• 27:03
Speaker 1: And so here, in a couple of minutes, we are going to go to him.
• 27:05
Speaker 1: We're going to go to him a little bit early, but I did want to get this one thing.
• 27:09
Speaker 4: I like his shirt.
• 27:10
Speaker 4: It's got a nice shirt on.
• 27:11
Speaker 1: Well, you just told him that and I'm sure that he's impressed.
• 27:14
Speaker 1: I'm just listening, he didn't buy it.
• 27:15
Speaker 1: I'm sure that his wife did, or somebody else did.
• 27:17
Speaker 1: Either that or it was a gimme shirt from the manufacturer who's probably got you know Ford or Lincoln.
• 27:23
Speaker 4: Well, he's talking to you, Go ahead.
• 27:25
Speaker 1: Jack, what kind of shirt is that?
• 27:27
Speaker 1: Can you put him up this?
• 27:28
Speaker 2: is a shirt my wife bought me for Christmas a couple years ago.
• 27:32
  Speaker 4: That's a nice looking shirt.
• 27:33
  Speaker 4: I like that.
• 27:34
Speaker 2: Why should I buy stuff when my wife has much better taste than I do?
• 27:37
  Speaker 4: And the money.
• 27:37
Speaker 2: She's got the money too.
• 27:39
  Speaker 4: Of course.
• 27:41
  Speaker 1: Exactly so.
• 27:42
Speaker 1: Jack Nerad is going to join us from the left coast and I think we're still speaking to people out there on the left coast Because not everybody has the same belief that those people do.
• 27:51
Speaker 1: And I don't mean to clump you into all of that, jack, don't clump me.
• 27:55
Speaker 1: You happen to live out there, but you've been clumped, you've been clumped.
• 27:58
Speaker 1: And the other thing is that I know that you make it to Dallas frequently because you have a daughter going to school up there, if I'm not mistaken.
• 28:06
Speaker 2: Actually they're long out of school, but I have two daughters, one in Dallas, one in Fort Worth and one in Fort Worth is getting married and just bought a house.
