- 0:03Speaker 1: Good morning, family, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back
- 0:06Speaker 1: to the morning. Devo is your brother Sam Lopez aka
- 0:08Speaker 1: DJ Sam rock So Winners with a z dot org
- 0:12Speaker 1: Live dot So Winners with a z dot org And
- 0:15Speaker 1: we're streaming on social media platforms and also on YouTube
- 0:19Speaker 1: as well, and also of course celebrate a network, the
- 0:23Speaker 1: Lea Valley's number one urban gospel music station online since
- 0:27Speaker 1: two thousand and eight. We're there as well. So listen,
- 0:30Speaker 1: let's go for it. I know a lot of people
- 0:33Speaker 1: struggle in this area, especially the younger generation. They are bored.
- 0:39Speaker 1: A lot of people are bored. They don't know what
- 0:41Speaker 1: to do with their time, They don't know what to
- 0:43Speaker 1: do with their life, unfortunately. But today we're gonna discover
- 0:49Speaker 1: how do we overcome boredom? How do you overcome boredom?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Board right now? Hey man, social media has a way
- 0:59Speaker 1: of taking our time right well, that the death scroll
- 1:05Speaker 1: to keep on scrolling and scrolling and scrolling looking for
- 1:09Speaker 1: something that's going to be feeling or appealing, right and
- 1:15Speaker 1: it never fulfills and never satisfies. It just distracts waste time.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And man, there's some good things happening on social media, obviously,
- 1:25Speaker 1: but most for the most part, if we're not careful,
- 1:27Speaker 1: it just could cause more boredom. You're looking for something
- 1:31Speaker 1: to do outside of what God's plan is for your life,
- 1:36Speaker 1: and that's very dangerous. And listen to this. Look what
- 1:39Speaker 1: I wrote here. Listen to what I wrote here. Boredom
- 1:42Speaker 1: is usually the result of living a life disconnected from purpose,
- 1:50Speaker 1: disconnected from your God given purpose. Boredom is not solved
- 1:56Speaker 1: by more entertainment, but by deeper engagement with God. Matthew
- 2:03Speaker 1: Chapter six, verse thirty three, very popular scripture for a believer.
- 2:07Speaker 1: If you read the Scriptures and the New Covenant, you
- 2:10Speaker 1: already know that scripture is very powerful, very important, very powerful.
- 2:15Speaker 1: A lot of people haven't memorized. Amen, And we're gonna
- 2:19Speaker 1: read it, and we're gonna start there. I'm going to
- 2:22Speaker 1: see how to overcome boredom and men. People are looking
- 2:25Speaker 1: for something to do, but they don't have the purpose
- 2:28Speaker 1: or the plan to do what they want to do
- 2:31Speaker 1: really right, so they become bored in the same old,
- 2:35Speaker 1: same old free lance the Monsieur Roman, thank you so
- 2:39Speaker 1: much for coming back to the morning. Devo's good to
- 2:41Speaker 1: see you, my friends. So let's go for it. If
- 2:43Speaker 1: you have any questions, comments, concerns, I want to pray requests,
- 2:47Speaker 1: Please don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's what we're here for. Also, after we pray, we'll
- 2:52Speaker 1: share us out for like sixty seconds, and then when
- 2:55Speaker 1: we come back on the other side of those sixty
- 2:57Speaker 1: we'll get into Matthew chapter six, verse number thirty three. Ready, So, Father,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I thank you today that were excited. We are excited
- 3:07Speaker 1: to see you do something so creative in our hearts
- 3:11Speaker 1: and our minds that boredom will have to go. There
- 3:14Speaker 1: would be nothing to be bored about. Thank you, Lord
- 3:17Speaker 1: God for the excitement of being born again, for the
- 3:19Speaker 1: excitement of being an evangelist, truth teller, for the excitement
- 3:24Speaker 1: to reach other people with the love and gospel of
- 3:27Speaker 1: your word. Thank you, Lord God for exciting visions and dreams, signs, miracles,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and wonders that are available to us. Thank you, Love God,
- 3:38Speaker 1: for every single person that's listening or watching right now,
- 3:41Speaker 1: that you will continue to install the powerful word that
- 3:45Speaker 1: you created to do in our lives. Thank you, Lord
- 3:48Speaker 1: God that you are creative and you're always doing something new.
- 3:52Speaker 1: So therefore we're going to have to be on the
- 3:54Speaker 1: desk roll on the internet, on social media, but we
- 3:56Speaker 1: could scroll through your word. Loor God, your word is
- 4:00Speaker 1: the most exciting word that we could ever read, powerful alive,
- 4:04Speaker 1: act of shopping at any double edged sword. And the
- 4:06Speaker 1: word is able to do exactly what your word says
- 4:09Speaker 1: it would do in our lives, individually and corporately. So
- 4:12Speaker 1: I pray a hedge of protection over our minds, our lives, physically,
- 4:16Speaker 1: emotionally and spiritually. I pray health to our bodies, straight
- 4:19Speaker 1: to our bones, and the powerful name of Jesus, I
- 4:22Speaker 1: dispatch worrying angels, ministering angels right now, by the authority
- 4:26Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus, to be dispatched to every single
- 4:29Speaker 1: person's situation right now, every household, every workspace, every gym,
- 4:35Speaker 1: every moment of our lives. That look, we will be
- 4:38Speaker 1: watched and guided and guarded by the angel that's assigned
- 4:42Speaker 1: to all those who love you. So I speak life
- 4:44Speaker 1: concerning all things living, and I come against anything that
- 4:47Speaker 1: tries to bring death to our ears and death to
- 4:49Speaker 1: our lives. And Jesus Holy Name, my prayer is by faith,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and those who agree we say amen to the Amen.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And when I'm bored about praying. I'm not bored by prayer.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I love to pray. I'm a prayer warrior. Let's go
- 5:01Speaker 1: forward sixty seconds. Help me shut this out. When we
- 5:04Speaker 1: come back, we get right into it. I'll be right back. Amen,
- 6:19Speaker 1: We're back. Let's go for ladies and gentlemen, go into
- 6:23Speaker 1: your Bible app get your Bible ready, amen, and go over.
- 6:27Speaker 1: If you have a written Bible, it may suggests you
- 6:29Speaker 1: hold on to it. We'll buy some more right now,
- 6:32Speaker 1: because in the near future of those digital Bibles and
- 6:35Speaker 1: those digital platforms, they're changing stuff in the wording. Amen.
- 6:39Speaker 1: But if you have a printed word, a printed Bible, Amen,
- 6:43Speaker 1: it'll be hard for you to be deceived when they
- 6:46Speaker 1: start changing things in the scriptures and the digital platforms.
- 6:51Speaker 1: As you know, we could see it coming. And if
- 6:53Speaker 1: you know anything about prophecy or anything about what God
- 6:58Speaker 1: says that's going to happen in the future, amen, you
- 7:01Speaker 1: know that it's gonna be a big deception going on.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It's happening right now. Unfortunately, a lot of people are
- 7:08Speaker 1: going into different ways of thinking that are not golly,
- 7:12Speaker 1: that are actually on golly, and they're really stemming from
- 7:15Speaker 1: the pits of Hell and the enemy is a liar.
- 7:18Speaker 1: The devil's a liar and man, and that could also
- 7:21Speaker 1: cause boredom as being someone who says or professes to
- 7:26Speaker 1: be a Christian, they're gonna be bored with the same old,
- 7:28Speaker 1: same old, because they're not getting into the scriptures for themselves.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So I always promote that you and I get into
- 7:35Speaker 1: the scriptures for ourselves. So let's get into this word
- 7:37Speaker 1: real quick. A man, I'm gonna put this on the screen.
- 7:41Speaker 1: How do you overcome boredom? How do we overcome boredom
- 7:45Speaker 1: today in the morning, devo A man. Let's get to
- 7:47Speaker 1: the scripture. Here, the Bible says in Matthew chapter six,
- 7:51Speaker 1: verse thirty three, the Lord says, but first and most importantly,
- 7:57Speaker 1: seek aim at strive after His kingdom and his righteousness,
- 8:04Speaker 1: his way of doing and being right, the attitude and
- 8:09Speaker 1: character of God, and all these things that we just
- 8:13Speaker 1: read that God just mentioned, and all these things will
- 8:17Speaker 1: be given to you also. So I don't know how
- 8:23Speaker 1: you will be bored when you're seeking the kingdom of God,
- 8:27Speaker 1: when you're aiming for when you're striving after His kingdom
- 8:31Speaker 1: and his righteousness, when you're looking for the Kingdom of God,
- 8:37Speaker 1: seeking and out, reading about it, memorizing scriptures, communicating with
- 8:43Speaker 1: other believers and brothers and sisters, and the Lord filled
- 8:46Speaker 1: with the Holy Spirit, sharing your testimony, sharing your faith.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I don't know how anyone could be bored in the
- 8:54Speaker 1: Kingdom of God. There's absolutely no way in my way
- 8:58Speaker 1: of thinking right now, I don't think that will ever
- 9:00Speaker 1: be boring to me to see a life change because
- 9:03Speaker 1: of the Gospel message, to see somebody moved and touched
- 9:06Speaker 1: by Holy Spirit God when you share your testimony, and
- 9:10Speaker 1: the Bible says all these things will be given to
- 9:13Speaker 1: you also. So therefore, I don't know. Being bored as
- 9:18Speaker 1: a believer to me is an oxymorrow doesn't make any sense, right,
- 9:24Speaker 1: It's not possible for me to be bored doing the
- 9:28Speaker 1: work of works of the Lord. Amen. Now if I'm
- 9:31Speaker 1: doing something crazy outside of the will of God, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm living life without purpose and I'm just scrolling through
- 9:38Speaker 1: the Bible just to get a revelation that only I'm
- 9:42Speaker 1: gonna get, like some preachers say, oh, you got to
- 9:45Speaker 1: get the revelation God told me, and God told me
- 9:47Speaker 1: and God told me. That could get boring to me,
- 9:50Speaker 1: Like how many times has God told you x y
- 9:54Speaker 1: Z and leads everybody else in the dark. To me,
- 9:57Speaker 1: that's a little boring. It's a stretch me, Amen, to
- 10:00Speaker 1: believe that God is just speaking to certain people and
- 10:04Speaker 1: he's not speaking to everybody else when these people get
- 10:08Speaker 1: certain revelations. Amen. From the scriptures. So boredom is usually
- 10:12Speaker 1: the result of living a life disconnected from purpose, from
- 10:16Speaker 1: your God given purpose. God's purpose and plan for you
- 10:21Speaker 1: and me. Perfect, Amen, Perfect. A lot of people say, well,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'm far from perfect, but listen, you're not far from
- 10:30Speaker 1: the perfect one that lives inside of you. And also,
- 10:32Speaker 1: we're not really called to be the perfect ones on earth.
- 10:37Speaker 1: We're called to be the blamest one, blameless ones on earth.
- 10:40Speaker 1: We're called to be the light, the salt of the earth. Amen.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Now I hear a scripture in my mind, so don't
- 10:48Speaker 1: quote me on we're I call it be perfect part.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But I know we're called to be blameless and we're
- 10:54Speaker 1: called to be the light of the earth and the
- 10:56Speaker 1: salt of the earth. We're supposed to be. So winness
- 10:59Speaker 1: man about planting seeds of eternal life. And that's not
- 11:04Speaker 1: boring at all. Amen. If you ever did any evangelism,
- 11:07Speaker 1: if you hung out with me while we've been doing
- 11:09Speaker 1: evangelism all these years. You know, there's nothing boring about
- 11:12Speaker 1: It's the most exciting thing that I do is going
- 11:17Speaker 1: out there preaching the Gospel to strangers, people who I
- 11:21Speaker 1: don't know what this situation is, but Holy Spirit does
- 11:24Speaker 1: amen to me. That's exciting. That's exciting. But the one
- 11:28Speaker 1: good morning, God, blessed Amen. Thank you so much for
- 11:31Speaker 1: coming in and tuning in to the morning DeVos because
- 11:34Speaker 1: you see my bro. So let me get to my
- 11:36Speaker 1: notes here. The root of boredom. What do you think
- 11:42Speaker 1: boredom comes from Scripture? And Ecclesiastes one versus eighty nine.
- 11:49Speaker 1: If you look at that scripture, you get to have
- 11:50Speaker 1: realized that boreden sometimes or often comes from the result
- 11:56Speaker 1: of a disconnected person, a person who's disconnected from the
- 12:00Speaker 1: Word of God, from the truth of God, from the
- 12:02Speaker 1: love of God, from the mercy of God, from the
- 12:05Speaker 1: forgiveness of God. A person who's not saved should be
- 12:09Speaker 1: walking around this world boring because after you do what
- 12:12Speaker 1: the world calls you to do or asks of you
- 12:15Speaker 1: to do, or promises you, and you find out it's
- 12:18Speaker 1: all a lie, you'd be like, yeah, I did it all.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's how I came to the Lord. I came to
- 12:22Speaker 1: the Lord like pretty much unsatisfied with the world system.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Doing everything the world offered, I did it, and I
- 12:30Speaker 1: was like, Okay, how come I'm not satisfied? How come
- 12:34Speaker 1: I'm not getting all the things that the world promised me?
- 12:37Speaker 1: You know, I did X, y Z. So now what
- 12:40Speaker 1: I became bored of that type of lifestyle, and I
- 12:43Speaker 1: knew there has to be more to life than what
- 12:45Speaker 1: I was currently where I was currently at, and what
- 12:48Speaker 1: I was currently doing at the time. So King Solomon,
- 12:53Speaker 1: with all his wisdom and all his wealth and all
- 12:56Speaker 1: his women right still call life meaningless? Yes, without God?
- 13:02Speaker 1: So you could have it all, right, all the money,
- 13:06Speaker 1: the fame, the fortune, women, cars, men, cars, We could
- 13:12Speaker 1: have it all. And why are you bored then? And
- 13:15Speaker 1: why you're unsatisfied? If that's all you were looking for
- 13:20Speaker 1: and that's all you ever needed, you realize that a
- 13:22Speaker 1: lot of rich people. I've met millionaires that are miserable.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I personally met millionaires that are miserable and they complain
- 13:30Speaker 1: and they murmur, but they have all the money. So
- 13:32Speaker 1: in my mind, I'm like, man, you have all this money,
- 13:35Speaker 1: why are you not happy? Why are you angry? And
- 13:38Speaker 1: why do you seem bored? You always have to do
- 13:41Speaker 1: something to try to satisfy your craved for happiness. So
- 13:47Speaker 1: you're craved for joy. You have to buy people, buy
- 13:50Speaker 1: people off. You have to put money on everything, even
- 13:55Speaker 1: unfortunately loved ones. You just throw money at everything. To me,
- 14:00Speaker 1: that's not the way to be Amen, that's not life.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Boredom is not solved by more entertainment, but by deeper
- 14:06Speaker 1: engagement with God. When you're bored, that's a signal that
- 14:12Speaker 1: you have a hunger for meaning, and that hunger for
- 14:15Speaker 1: meaning and life can only be filled by the Lord Jesus. Amen.
- 14:21Speaker 1: He tells us where we came from and where we're going.
- 14:24Speaker 1: The Lord Jesus says that and the word Amen. Also,
- 14:29Speaker 1: once we know where we came from, Amen, what does
- 14:32Speaker 1: that mean? God shows us the meaning of life through
- 14:35Speaker 1: his word. And then after this life is over, if
- 14:39Speaker 1: you live a godly life, a purposeful life, a life
- 14:42Speaker 1: full of holy ghosts, you should be having an exciting life. Right,
- 14:45Speaker 1: and then we know where we're going our destiny. Amen.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So God has shown us how to live this life
- 14:52Speaker 1: out in godliness and righteousness and He's given us every
- 14:55Speaker 1: single spiritual gift that we will ever need on this
- 14:58Speaker 1: side of eternity. That don't excite y'all, don't know what
- 15:02Speaker 1: will being bored. If you're bored going to church, Amen,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you might have to check yourself first, Pray to God,
- 15:09Speaker 1: ask yourself or see make sure you're still in the faith.
- 15:13Speaker 1: That's number one. Because it might not be the church
- 15:16Speaker 1: that's boring. It might be that you're boring because you're
- 15:18Speaker 1: disconnected from the power God, from the anointing of God.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But it is also possible that the church you might
- 15:26Speaker 1: be attending and you find so bored forced to go,
- 15:29Speaker 1: you're forcing yourself to listen, And it might be that
- 15:32Speaker 1: then I filled with the Holy Ghost, or they're not
- 15:35Speaker 1: telling you the word of God, or they're just talking.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Beware of preachers that say they're preaching the word of
- 15:43Speaker 1: God and they never quote any scriptures. It's crazy, right.
- 15:48Speaker 1: So if I got up here in the morning, devo
- 15:50Speaker 1: and I said, we're just gonna devote some time to
- 15:53Speaker 1: God and I never bring up the scriptures, you know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I should be suspect. Anybody that does that should be suspect.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You'll be like, okay, unless they have. You know, some
- 16:01Speaker 1: people I know have the scriptures memorized. That's cool, Amen,
- 16:05Speaker 1: and that's real powerful, I guess, Amen, for people who
- 16:08Speaker 1: have that capacity or that gift to memorize scriptures. I
- 16:12Speaker 1: know a couple of scriptures, but I know people who
- 16:14Speaker 1: know hundreds of scriptures and they could call them from
- 16:17Speaker 1: the top and they don't live boring lives. But those
- 16:21Speaker 1: are not people that are you know, that's not an
- 16:26Speaker 1: ordinary situation. Those people are you know, walking in deeper
- 16:31Speaker 1: levels from the scriptures in God and Christ than others.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So being bored is basically a signal that you have
- 16:41Speaker 1: a hunger and a thirst that only Jesus could fill
- 16:45Speaker 1: the hunger and thirst. Amen, And let me go back
- 16:49Speaker 1: to my notes here. Sorry. So true satisfaction is found
- 16:55Speaker 1: where in the Kingdom of God, the body of Christ,
- 16:59Speaker 1: by Christ, Jesus. Some people are looking for satisfaction outside
- 17:03Speaker 1: of the Kingdom of God. And yeah, they'll get temporal
- 17:06Speaker 1: satisfaction from taking drugs, doing things with other people, hanging
- 17:11Speaker 1: out with other people that are not, you know, engaged
- 17:15Speaker 1: in the Kingdom of God. They look like they're having
- 17:17Speaker 1: a whole lot of fun. The young generations look looks
- 17:20Speaker 1: like TikTok and videos on YouTube and all that, and
- 17:23Speaker 1: they call that fun. Look at all that fun. Look
- 17:25Speaker 1: at all the fun those people are having. And meanwhile,
- 17:27Speaker 1: these people are with our purpose. They're dying inside. They're
- 17:32Speaker 1: still seeking after the kingdom, but they don't know which
- 17:35Speaker 1: kingdom to seek after. They're in the kingdom of darkness,
- 17:38Speaker 1: not in the kingdom of light. We need to pray
- 17:40Speaker 1: those for those people, pray them out of that situation
- 17:42Speaker 1: so that way they don't continue to influence our kids,
- 17:45Speaker 1: influence the younger generation, influence even our generation. Sometimes if
- 17:49Speaker 1: we're not careful. Boredom is like the cousin to sin,
- 17:54Speaker 1: because once you're bored and you start getting too much
- 17:57Speaker 1: alone time and idle mind, and then that's when we
- 18:00Speaker 1: all get in trouble. Amen. That's why the Lord says,
- 18:03Speaker 1: seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and
- 18:07Speaker 1: all these things will be added to you. Boredom could
- 18:09Speaker 1: be a sign that your spiritual life needs refueling. You
- 18:14Speaker 1: might be emptying out, you might be overwhelmed. You might
- 18:18Speaker 1: not be knowledgeable of how God wants us to go
- 18:21Speaker 1: to him with all our burdens. Jesus said, come to
- 18:24Speaker 1: me all those who are weary and burdened, and I
- 18:27Speaker 1: will give you rest. That rest that God gives us
- 18:30Speaker 1: is joy peace, that peace work keeps on coming up.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I need peace, You need peace. Why wouldn't anybody want peace?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Once you have peace, he would never be bored. I'll
- 18:40Speaker 1: tell you right now. A person that doesn't have peace
- 18:43Speaker 1: probably will be bored in life because they be like
- 18:46Speaker 1: I do everything, I did everything, I have everything, and
- 18:49Speaker 1: I still don't have peace. You want peace, You want
- 18:51Speaker 1: the peace of God that transcends all understanding. But the
- 18:55Speaker 1: Frank I see you, Good morning, God, bless yes. Amen
- 18:58Speaker 1: to that, Sam Yes, Amen, and amen to the amen. Right,
- 19:02Speaker 1: Boredom can be a sign that your spiritual life needs refueling.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So I know a lot of people think this is boring.
- 19:08Speaker 1: What I'm gonna say, spend time in prayer, pray, ask God,
- 19:12Speaker 1: communicate with God. Talk to God. That is not at
- 19:15Speaker 1: all boring, unless you're talking to a false God or
- 19:18Speaker 1: an idol or a guru or a dead person. Right.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Some people talk to the dead for some odd reason
- 19:26Speaker 1: and they think that getting is spoken back to. If
- 19:29Speaker 1: that happens, listen, you need them. To surround yourself with
- 19:33Speaker 1: holy egos, felled people to help you through that and
- 19:36Speaker 1: pray you prayer out of that situation. Spend time in prayer,
- 19:40Speaker 1: spend time and worship, and of course, read your scripture.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Read the Bible. Man, you want to know about God,
- 19:47Speaker 1: read his word. He left us enough infament, more than
- 19:51Speaker 1: enough information to live a life of godliness, righteousness, holiness, righte, purity. Joy.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Joy is actually the power that God gives us, the
- 20:03Speaker 1: joy of the Lord, when the God of heaven and earth,
- 20:06Speaker 1: When the God of heaven and Earth lives inside of us,
- 20:09Speaker 1: joy becomes the power a man. Joy is our strength
- 20:13Speaker 1: and joy since joy is our strength, that means borederm
- 20:16Speaker 1: is our weakness. Think about it. God's word is never boring.
- 20:19Speaker 1: It's a blessing. Of course, absolutely, man, absolutely, order can
- 20:26Speaker 1: be a sign that your spiritual life needs refueling. How
- 20:30Speaker 1: about this, you're bored when you go to your house
- 20:34Speaker 1: of worship, your church or whatever. I know something exciting.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Why don't you start serving in that church or that community.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Meet other people. Once you meet other people, you start realizing, man,
- 20:46Speaker 1: you're useful. Right, You could share your life with somebody else.
- 20:50Speaker 1: You can meet new people, You can pray with other people.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You could hope and dream with other people. When I'm
- 20:57Speaker 1: a dreamer, amen, So when I I see other dreamers,
- 21:01Speaker 1: that excites me and I connect with other dreamers, people
- 21:03Speaker 1: who are looking right for something greater than what they
- 21:09Speaker 1: currently have. And we're looking towards the Kingdom of God.
- 21:11Speaker 1: We're seeking it from the Kingdom of God. First. We're
- 21:14Speaker 1: not seeking the world worldliness stuff first. We're not going
- 21:19Speaker 1: to Google's first idols first. We're not going to self
- 21:24Speaker 1: help books first. Right, We're not trying to be prideful
- 21:28Speaker 1: and arrogant, which to me is a boring life and
- 21:30Speaker 1: a miserable life. When I meet somebody who's proud and arrogant,
- 21:34Speaker 1: all they talk about is themselves. I know they're not failed,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and I know they're not satisfied because they have to
- 21:40Speaker 1: get validation all the time. Look what I did. They
- 21:43Speaker 1: go on social media and said, look what I have,
- 21:45Speaker 1: Look what I did. Look how many followers I have,
- 21:49Speaker 1: Look how much influence I have. It's about III like
- 21:52Speaker 1: an opera singer. Me me, me like an opera singer. Right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and it shouldn't be that way. Serve others, volunteer at
- 22:00Speaker 1: your church. That's exciting, right, You will never be bored.
- 22:05Speaker 1: There will never be a shortage of people who you
- 22:09Speaker 1: can serve in your church. Help a neighbor, right go
- 22:15Speaker 1: outside of your community or in your community and see
- 22:19Speaker 1: who needs help. Maybe start with the elderly, Maybe start
- 22:22Speaker 1: with the people who you see in your community that
- 22:25Speaker 1: nobody really connects with for whatever reason. I mean, use
- 22:28Speaker 1: wisdom and use discernment. But help other people. Help a neighbor,
- 22:33Speaker 1: Support your local ministries. Amen, you can support me and
- 22:37Speaker 1: cell I readio network, support websites right there on the
- 22:41Speaker 1: thing that's exciting because when you invest in something that
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know is helping others and helping other ministries, it's
- 22:48Speaker 1: exciting to see what God's going to do with the
- 22:49Speaker 1: see that you sow. There's no boredom in there, right.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Christ wants us to serve so that we can reflect
- 23:00Speaker 1: his love, his grace's mercy, reflect his power to others.
- 23:06Speaker 1: But we asked to have this with a deep, powerful joy.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And once we have that joy, boredom has to go
- 23:13Speaker 1: because we fill with the love of God, we feel
- 23:15Speaker 1: with the joy of God, we feel with the spirit
- 23:18Speaker 1: of God, and we want to also help other people
- 23:21Speaker 1: see that for themselves as well. Once somebody knows that
- 23:24Speaker 1: purpose in life, a man that God give him purpose.
- 23:26Speaker 1: No one should be bored anymore. Boredom has to go.
- 23:30Speaker 1: How do you overcome boredom? You follow Christ, You serve others,
- 23:34Speaker 1: a man who speak life, read the scriptures, you pray,
- 23:36Speaker 1: you worship, and you will never be bored. Trust me,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I know, good morning, since the joyce. I see you, God,
- 23:42Speaker 1: bless you, and thank you for the blessings for the
- 23:45Speaker 1: group a man on this holy Thursday. Yes, every day
- 23:49Speaker 1: we get into the world of God is a holy day.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Thank you so much for coming through my sister and
- 23:53Speaker 1: my friend. Your time should be used wisely because boredom
- 23:59Speaker 1: usually he sticks around when you don't have a plan
- 24:03Speaker 1: for the day. Boredom usually sticks around when you're idle
- 24:06Speaker 1: and you're just scrolling on the internet. Boredom comes when
- 24:10Speaker 1: you try to do things that are temporary fixes and
- 24:14Speaker 1: not eternal. Does not have any eternal value. Born them
- 24:19Speaker 1: will hit you like that. So use your time wisely.
- 24:21Speaker 1: If Asians five five sixteen says look carefully, then how
- 24:25Speaker 1: you walk not as unwise, but as wise making the
- 24:30Speaker 1: best of your time. Because the days are evil. So
- 24:34Speaker 1: if you don't plan out your day. The day has
- 24:36Speaker 1: a plan for you, and the day has a plan
- 24:38Speaker 1: for me. You don't plan to succeed. That means you're
- 24:41Speaker 1: planning to fail. A man plan something, Do something today
- 24:46Speaker 1: that you can engage others in a man go for
- 24:50Speaker 1: a walk, meet somebody, speak to somebody, Smile at somebody.
- 24:54Speaker 1: That's exciting. You know what's exciting to me when you
- 24:57Speaker 1: just smile. Yesterday was a little weird. When I was
- 25:00Speaker 1: coming home when the supermarket came home, some two girls
- 25:04Speaker 1: just pulled up next to my car right and I
- 25:07Speaker 1: was like, okay, and it was like an empty parking lot,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and then one of the girls waved, so I just smiled,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and the girl smiled back and they left. Maybe that
- 25:19Speaker 1: was God showing me listen, sometimes people just need to smile.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Maybe they were doing drugs or into something. I don't
- 25:28Speaker 1: know what that was all about, but you know, I'm
- 25:31Speaker 1: a spiritual man, so I'm like, what was that all about? Lord?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Amend they just need a smile? Or they did I
- 25:37Speaker 1: need a smile? Amen? Because they just parked next to me, looked, smiled,
- 25:42Speaker 1: and left. I thought that was just weird to me
- 25:44Speaker 1: in the empty parking lot leaving in an empty kind
- 25:47Speaker 1: of like area of the supermarket was late at night
- 25:51Speaker 1: and they were almost closing, So I think that was weird.
- 25:54Speaker 1: But it's exciting to me, Amen that I could talk
- 25:57Speaker 1: about it, that I could. You know, there was no
- 25:59Speaker 1: harm done, Amen, No words exchange, just a smile. Smiles
- 26:03Speaker 1: are powerful. Amen. When you smile at people. Some people
- 26:07Speaker 1: never get smiled that, especially if they're in the service industry, supermarkets, restaurants,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you know, things like that. Smiling is powerful. Amen. Yes, Amen.
- 26:18Speaker 1: The jury of the Lord is our strength. Yes, Sister Joys.
- 26:21Speaker 1: The jury of the Lord is our strength all the time. Amen.
- 26:26Speaker 1: So use your time wisely, replace idle time with activities
- 26:30Speaker 1: that build you up spiritually, that build you up mentally.
- 26:35Speaker 1: We've been talking about mentality right Our mentality that builds
- 26:39Speaker 1: you up physically. Go to the gym, exercise, walk. Some
- 26:42Speaker 1: people say I don't have time for the gym, neither
- 26:44Speaker 1: do I have a home gym in my basement or men.
- 26:47Speaker 1: But people said, I don't you know, my body's aching
- 26:50Speaker 1: this that that I can't do a lot of physical
- 26:53Speaker 1: weightlifting or whatever. Start by walking. If you can walk, amen,
- 26:57Speaker 1: Start by mobilizing your body, you know, knee lifts, jumping jets,
- 27:02Speaker 1: something that you could just start and that would be
- 27:05Speaker 1: exciting to see the results of how you start and
- 27:09Speaker 1: where you're get to go because you're starting to exercise. Amen,
- 27:12Speaker 1: start a Bible study, learn a new skill, right, exercise,
- 27:17Speaker 1: and build relationships. I'm giving you a lot because all
- 27:20Speaker 1: those things that I just mentioned are founding the Kingdom
- 27:22Speaker 1: of God. If we seek the Kingdom of God first
- 27:24Speaker 1: and his righteousness, all those things that the Word mentions
- 27:28Speaker 1: in Matthew six thirty three will be added to us also.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And there's no way that when God adds to our
- 27:36Speaker 1: life that we can remain in a bored state. How
- 27:39Speaker 1: do you overcome boredom? You follow Jesus. Amen in a nutshell,
- 27:42Speaker 1: I'm out of time. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so
- 27:44Speaker 1: much for hanging out with me. It's exciting to know
- 27:48Speaker 1: that this people is still hungry for the Word of
- 27:49Speaker 1: God and we could come to the Lord through his
- 27:52Speaker 1: word and come together Amen on these morning DeVos. So
- 27:55Speaker 1: God bless you all, God keep you all, and remember
- 27:58Speaker 1: always that God is good. Peace,
