  Speaker 1: and it's time right now for today's word. Don't wait.

  Speaker 1: Pray now. 1 John 5, 14 in the Amplified says,

  Speaker 1: And this is the confidence, the assurance, the privilege of

  Speaker 1: boldness which we have in him. We are sure that

  Speaker 1: if we ask anything, make any request according to his will,
• 0:24
  Speaker 1: in agreement with his own plan, he listens to and
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: hears us. Have you ever heard that someone was going
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: through something and immediately thought, I need to pray for them?

  Speaker 1: Or maybe something came across your heart, a family member,
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: a friend, a situation at work, a financial need, a
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: difficult decision, and you said, I'll pray about that later.

  Speaker 1: But what if later never comes? Sometimes we don't realize

  Speaker 1: I'll pray later can become I forgot to pray. And

  Speaker 1: that's exactly why we have to be intentional about talking

  Speaker 1: to God right now. Don't wait until you get home.

  Speaker 1: Don't wait until your prayer time tonight. Don't wait until

  Speaker 1: you have the perfect words. Pray now. It can take

  Speaker 1: five seconds, 10 minutes. It doesn't matter. You can pray

  Speaker 1: in your car. You can pray at your desk. You

  Speaker 1: can pray while you're walking through the grocery store. You

  Speaker 1: can whisper a prayer while you're sitting in a doctor's office.

  Speaker 1: You can pray before you answer that difficult phone call.

  Speaker 1: You can pray the moment someone's name comes to your mind.

  Speaker 1: Prayer doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's simply, Lord.

  Speaker 1: help them. Sometimes it's God giving me wisdom. Sometimes it's Father,

  Speaker 1: I don't know what to do, but I trust you.

  Speaker 1: And sometimes your prayer is simply, thank you, Lord. See,

  Speaker 1: the enemy would love for us to procrastinate when it
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: comes to prayer because procrastination can turn to neglect. He
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: wants us to believe we have to find the perfect time,
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: the perfect place, or the perfect words to pray. But
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: God isn't asking for a perfect prayer. He's inviting you
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: into a relationship. 1 John 5, 14 reminds us that

  Speaker 1: we can have confidence when we come to God. He

  Speaker 1: hears us when we pray according to his will. What

  Speaker 1: an incredible privilege, y'all. Think about it. The creator of

  Speaker 1: the universe is available to hear you. So when God

  Speaker 1: places someone on your heart, pray. When you see a need, pray.

  Speaker 1: When you feel overwhelmed, pray. When you're grateful, pray. When

  Speaker 1: you don't know what to say, pray anyway. See, you've

  Speaker 1: got to pray and let prayer become your first response

  Speaker 1: instead of your last resort. And don't underestimate what can

  Speaker 1: happen when you pray in the moment. That person you

  Speaker 1: suddenly thought about, maybe God put them on your heart

  Speaker 1: because they need intercession right then. That situation that comes
