Transcript
- 0:00Try trending trending. Good morning, I'm James Any. Here is the things
- 0:06you need to know about Britney Spears. Brutally honest memoir has reportedly been put
- 0:12on hold over concerns that some A listers mentioned in the book. According to
- 0:17us SUN, strongly worded legal letters have been sent to publishers by people who
- 0:22know Brittany and who fear what she has written. Now, I need this
- 0:27book to come out. Did she sleep with or who slept with her exactly?
- 0:31That's gotta be one who did all the drugs. I would imagine,
- 0:34Oh my gosh, that Cruis are on a scene for hours battling a fire
- 0:43at a more headed factory. The call came in around seven thirty pm on
- 0:46Monday May eighth, to Pactive on forty second Street South. They said the
- 0:50flames were knocked down around nine pm, but firefighters did stay on the scene
- 0:54until three am this morning. No word on the cause or if there were
- 0:57any injuries. And I think when there's no word, that's a pretty good
- 1:00sign and able test. Faye is working on what will likely be his last
- 1:06album, as The Weekend that's his real name. Did you guys know that
- 1:08I didn't that really threw me off. The Idol Creator, which is on
- 1:12HBO, said, I still make music. I'll still make music, maybe
- 1:15as able, maybe as the weekend. But I still want to kill the
- 1:19weekend, and I will eventually. I'm definitely trying to shed that skin and
- 1:23be reborn. He does seem kind of like a weird guy, like just
- 1:26a little off. Yeah, any creative person is kind of weird, right,
- 1:30Mostly, I guess super creative, like when you get to that level
- 1:34of creative, right, well, I have to shed my skin. I
- 1:38was just waiting for a butterfly reference, and there had my cocoon to be
- 1:42creative. I thought of a snake. I don't know whether today. It
- 1:47looks like we're gonna see sun until maybe noon, and it's gonna cloud up,
- 1:49could rain this afternoon and might hit seventy today. There you go,
- 1:53all that weather brought to you by Bremmer Bank. Love it. It's sun
- 1:57today, kind of Papa Sunshine. Back with Rambo and Gracie again. Gracie,
- 2:06how you feeling? Are you feeling sharp? The Starbucks didn't help you
- 2:09yesterday. I don't have it today. She's sitting in Amanda's chair though,
- 2:14and I told her if she starts momming us, I gotta go. Well,
- 2:16hopefully she'll get a little bit of that Amanda skill. At Who's Smarter,
- 2:20we'll find out we're playing for a Sicky's gift card. We're doing that
- 2:23next Today's variety, Big Natty eight point seven, Thunderstorm, Papa thunder No,
- 2:30that doesn't quite work as well. Daddy Thun, Daddy, Daddy thun.
- 2:34Mindy knocking at the door, Mindy are you there? This is the
- 2:38Who's Smarter? Game? We got twenty five bucks for you to go spend
- 2:39over at Siky's if you win. Now you're picking between the the penultimate winner.
- 2:46Amanda's not here, but we got Rambo and Gracie. Rambo's up one
- 2:49nothing if an ultimate winner though, well, I mean she kicked your butt
- 2:52for like two weeks and she kicked like we were going back and forth.
- 2:55That's not really it. But you couldn't finish her off, is what I'm
- 2:58saying. Who do you think, Rambo or Gracie? Mandy? I'm born
- 3:02with a little Rambo this morning, going with a little Rambo. Thank you
- 3:06men. Everybody's got to have a little Rambo. Question number one in what
- 3:08year was YouTube created? Is it two thousand, two thousand three or two
- 3:15thousand and five. Two thousand and three that is incorrect, two thousand or
- 3:21two thousand and five, two thousand and five, that is correct. Start.
- 3:27I was trying to think when you could actually watch it. I don't
- 3:30know because I probably didn't. First came out like luck, no one person
- 3:35can watch Yeah, because the internet wasn't good night. I was five?
- 3:38Did you were using it at five? Maybe he was watching Taylor Swift was
- 3:44also five? Which male artist has received fourteen titles in the Guinness World Records.
- 3:51Dustin Bieber, how did you know that? Did she write these?
- 3:53Questions? That say? Did she write these? She did write them,
- 3:58but she didn't said she didn't remember. I've been a fan of Justin Bieber's
- 4:01for like the last seventeen years. So she wrote these a year ago,
- 4:04and I stashed him and then I just brought him back to life because I
- 4:06didn't feel like right nearly a year was not long enough. Mindy, do
- 4:11you want to make the switch. I'm gonna have to make a split on
- 4:16the end. Yeah, she's got the inside line. Guys, I'm closing
- 4:20my computer after the game questions. All right, good morning to everybody on
- 4:28Facebook. By the way, what's up Facebook? Thank you for watching this
- 4:30unfold. Last question, what was the first major motion picture to be shot
- 4:35on the open ocean? Is it Into the Blue Jaws or Titanic? Titanic?
- 4:46That is incorrect. So you had a shot at the game. Now
- 4:51you can't do that. I think I knew which one it was. It
- 4:54was a toss up between is it Jaws or Into the Blue Gracie Jaws?
- 4:58That is correct. Revo is gonna say it. I'm started to say it.
- 5:03That means you scored twenty five bucks ago spend at Siki. Thank you
- 5:05so much for listening, Thank you for playing, and uh Grace, he's
- 5:09gonna get your set up here, hang on, okay, thank you.
- 5:12Yep, it's our first win in this year. It's twenty three. Hey
- 5:16Google, Hey Google, whatever, your delight's name is? Eight point seven?
- 5:27Wait, untre It's James's Drunk Star Today, sponsored by James Kevin.
- 5:38Coster's demanding work schedule was difficult for his wife Christine. Prior to her divorce
- 5:43filing, A family source says Coster knew his wife Christine was unhappy, but
- 5:46her divorce filing came as an unpleasant surprise. His absence, quote has been
- 5:53very hard for her. Christine doesn't want him to throw himself into another project.
- 5:56He has been obsessed with filming Horizons since last year, and she wasn't
- 6:00happy about it. Another source says, at times, his career has taking
- 6:02precedence over his home life. All of the success and excitement over the new
- 6:05project probably took his attention away from his family more than he realized, since
- 6:10it didn't look like that would change and likely could get worse to constension at
- 6:14home. Why are we surprised that Kevin Costner, a list actor, has
- 6:19a lot of projects and takes two hundred and twenty day filming schedules, is
- 6:24not at home for home life. You knew that when you married years ago.
- 6:28Just doing what cost do? I don't know why she's shocked. No,
- 6:32I don't know. I don't know why she shocked. You would you
- 6:33would? You be fine with it, Gracie? Just you your man gone
- 6:38three kids for two hundred and fifty days a year. Well he's bringing in
- 6:42a lot of money. Yeah, So what do you mean you'd bring in
- 6:45the pool boy? Well, they've got a nanny. It's not like she's
- 6:49raising these kids. It's not a pool boy, it's not Costner. Yeah,
- 6:54but my cost brings a different energy to that. Yeah, that's fine.
- 6:57So I enjoyed the though. But I'm also funny too. So you
- 7:01don't like the silver Foxes. No, I like the more Austin butlery.
- 7:05Look, you just don't even know. Someday you'll learn. Nick Cannon is
- 7:15getting candid. The forty two year old mega mogul fired back at being called
- 7:17a deadbeat dad in a new interview. While revealing his jaw dropping annual salary.
- 7:21He says, I've been villainized regarding scrutiny over his many partners and kids.
- 7:26He has fathered twelve children with six women over the last twelve years.
- 7:30Five of those kids currently under the age of one, which I did not
- 7:32know he does. That's wild. He is looking to get at Taylor Swift
- 7:36too. He did say that that would be awesome, but you had the
- 7:39better idea. Maybe we'll talk about that later, He says. I hear
- 7:42all the time. You can't be present for all those children, so therefore
- 7:44I get this deadbeat dad title. He refuted a report in November that he
- 7:47paid three million dollars in child support per year, claiming the figure was much
- 7:51higher now. He says three million is not a lot of money. He
- 7:55says, when you think about lifestyle, I have to generate at least one
- 7:57hundred million dollars a year. And he says, yes, he does make
- 8:00that much per year. Do you buy it? What? I just want
- 8:05to know what. I want to see his tax returns. Let's see those
- 8:07bad boys. It's crazy, yeah, kid, his tax returns. In
- 8:11the end, Cannon says that he feels like he's in good fatherly company.
- 8:15Says Eddie Murphy's got ten kids with five different women, Clint Eastwood's got eight
- 8:18kids with five partners. He says, Muhammad Ali had a bunch of kids
- 8:22and he was the greatest fighter that ever wasn't Bob Marley got more kids than
- 8:26I got. And these are great men. Yeah, but he he doesn't
- 8:28do anything that makes him great. He's just Nick Cannon. He just takes
- 8:31over hosting duties when the other hosts falls sick and tells some jokes that's in
- 8:37producing and apparently gets people pregnant. I can't believe Wild and Out and Mass
- 8:41Singer make him a one hundred million dollars a year. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 8:43I feel like there's some residuals on that. There must be, he
- 8:46must I'm guessing I don't see mass singer rear in places, but wilding out.
- 8:52Yeah, that rears a lot. That's true. That's a good and
- 8:56ed Sharon says writing pop is more channeling that in the other form of music.
- 9:01Singer songwriter insisted he's never been bothered by negative reviews of his work because
- 9:03he accepts his music is never going to be universally adored. He's adamant pop
- 9:07stars should be respected because coming up with a catchy tune is one of the
- 9:11most difficult jobs in the industry. He says, I used to care about
- 9:15reviews because I spent my whole life trying to become successful. But you're not
- 9:16always going to be everything to everyone. Like I've never been a critical darling.
- 9:20I don't know. I think it's more challenging to write pop music than
- 9:22any other kind of music. What do you think I didn't see that because
- 9:28it's it's ever changing. It seems easy. Maybe that's part part of it.
- 9:33James rats pops, Okay, do you know what at the end of
- 9:37the day. Ed is just a man and a guitar. That's all he
- 9:41is. He said that in court. That was his testify. I'm just
- 9:43a man with my guitar. I'm so mad he didn't sing that speech.
- 9:48Yeah, I feel like he should have. I don't know. I don't
- 9:50love that Ed Sharon is being this guy. I don't like opinionated Ed.
- 9:54I just want him to sing. Yeah, I agree. He seems a
- 9:56little bit braddy when he talks. I don't know. Maybe it's the Britishness,
- 9:58though it could be right. I feel like they're just kind of more
- 10:01proper, kind of out there and in general are just that way. Yeah,
- 10:07and a little snotty a little bit. Damn it, he's got some
- 10:09French in him. Big Naty eight points seven. I'm surely proof it's Max.
- 10:18Check it out now Today's Variety, Big Naty eight points seven. Morning.
- 10:24This is James and Rambo and Gracie your new morning show. Amanda's officially
- 10:28done. Yeah, she died last night. Oh she passed. That was
- 10:31one of the must have been one of the worst impendicitis cases they've seen.
- 10:35Yeah, quote unquote appendicitis. But her car has not been at her house
- 10:39for a week, so I think she's in Cancoon. I can't see,
- 10:41you know. She did say she needed some sun. There's something going on.
- 10:45That's why she sounded dead, because she's been just drinking Margarita's. He
- 10:48did blame the marks. She actually blamed me in the marks. She blamed
- 10:52the marks and her excitement for you to come back, Pike. Yeah,
- 10:54I don't believe any of it. You know, I've known this lady for
- 10:56years, guys. I wouldn't trust her as far as I gets thrown.
- 11:00All right, how's packing? Well, you know it's the worst thing ever.
- 11:03Yeah, to be honest, Yeah, so we're today's the last day.
- 11:07We're loading up the trail learned, cleaning and realizing how disgusting we are
- 11:13for me mostly probably, but no, it's good. I got the U
- 11:18Haul, as you guys know, and uh big. The big fear was
- 11:22like it was gonna be too big. And I got to the U Haul
- 11:24store and I sort of god, I looked at it and I was like,
- 11:28there's no way that's the one, right, And he's like, yeah,
- 11:30it's a twenty six foot it's what you ordered. I'm like, no,
- 11:33I'm not I'm just not doing that. So I just got the smaller
- 11:37one and decided to throw away whatever again, Wow, you didn't want to
- 11:41drive the big truck. Dear god, it was the size of a semi
- 11:43truck. I'm not even kidding. I can't even get in that. And
- 11:46you're telling the ultima right, so you gotta, yeah, you throw another
- 11:50twelve feet or whatever the Nissan is and uh no, it just wasn't gonna
- 11:54work. I felt bad. The truck was the there looking at me,
- 11:56like, you know, like I left it at the lure or something,
- 12:00but I just had the cold feet. Yeah, that truck's never going to
- 12:03recover from it's the devastation. No, and it'll take it out on its
- 12:07next driver. And it's just an emotional you know, just domino effect.
- 12:13Really, it's a roller coaster. Sorry, you got the truck packed or
- 12:16you just got it. It's like half packed. This morning, I got
- 12:20a long list of things to do. First I'm at McDonald's, which is
- 12:24something that smartep one, and then uh yeah, I gotta just I don't
- 12:28even I don't even know. It's a long list, James, long list.
- 12:31You guys are leaving tomorrow, Yeah, we're gonna get up in leave
- 12:33early. We wanted to time it out perfect, so we hit rush hour
- 12:37in Atlanta and Nashville. Smart. Yeah, I think we're gonna stay in
- 12:41Nashville. You've ever been? Yeah, fantastic? Oh yeah, is it?
- 12:46Where's the best place to go get a real good hangover for the next
- 12:48day of driving? Uh? You know, I would say kids Rocks Bar
- 12:52is the best place to go do some drinking. If you want to do
- 12:54some eating. There's a Brazilian barbecue right across from the Sabaro and that place
- 13:01is fantastic. You will eat your fill. Okay, that sounds like my
- 13:03speed. I heard of Sabaro reference in Forever. Well, you know,
- 13:07see, the thing is is you go to Nashville and you start out proper
- 13:11at the Brazilian Barbecue. Then you go make poor life choices at kid Rocks
- 13:15Bar, and then you're hungry and it's one am, all of a sudden,
- 13:18and so Barrow's just lighting the way slice by slice. It's a great
- 13:22New York slice too. And there's a parking ramp right next to that,
- 13:24so you just, you know, just make your way. You get a
- 13:26little loop, you conpee there. Kind of key to the city in Nashville.
- 13:31It sounds been there a few times. I made all my I made
- 13:37all my bad decisions at Jason Aldean's bar. That's where I made all bad
- 13:41decisions. I don't remember. I don't remember the first night we were in
- 13:45Nashville. Everyone's been telling me how great of a person and great work.
- 13:48Or you aren't here you are telling me about bad Yeah, we're ruining her.
- 13:52We're gonna have her completely ruined by the time you get here. It's
- 13:56almost there. I did prepper though, still take you know your coffee styrofoam
- 14:01cups? You can eat it right. Hey, we're talked about that on
- 14:05Facebook. He moved up. You've moved up. Yeah, Rambo, it's
- 14:09a sensitive subject. But I'm in a recovery from eating styrofoam. So if
- 14:11you guys could just keep that away from me. Hello, are we talking
- 14:15about We need to give you some styrofoam. It sounds like you're going through
- 14:18with draws. It'll get you. What kind of person? Are you?
- 14:20An enabler? I think you know you know exactly what kind of president?
- 14:24Right, Rambo, you loved it, it was it was a good time.
- 14:28Does Pike smell good, Rambo. I did sleep in his car and
- 14:30a sleeping bag with him one time. It was a great time, he
- 14:33did. I woke up. I went to bed alone and woke up with
- 14:35Rambo next to me in a sleeping bags the middle of wind. I don't
- 14:37know what happened in between, but I just know we were pretty cozy that
- 14:43morning. Nothing in between you but a thin layer of hole. He was
- 14:46in his seat and I was in his passenger seat, which was filled with
- 14:50garbage and the old Nissan Ultima, the same ultimate, the same Ultimat.
- 14:56I've lived out of here for just in the back seat. That's where you
- 15:01don't want to go. Yeah, that's the rule. Everyone knows. That's
- 15:05probably enough set for that. So tell me. Since your gross in your
- 15:09car, what was gross in your house? With a shower? Dear God,
- 15:13how do you begin to clean this? Just set the plates on fire
- 15:16and already deposit are coming. Well, we own this one, so we
- 15:22don't have a We don't have to worry about that. Oh, look at
- 15:24you, and you know what I did, Rambo. You'd be proud,
- 15:28Rambo if you didn't know. Every time I moved, which was every year
- 15:31for the last thousand years, Rambo would have to mount my tea before me
- 15:35because I'm not a man. Really, I've literally had to come do it
- 15:37every time and take it down. You should have seen, though I was
- 15:41patching holes, I was doing speckling. I was all I was glue and
- 15:46base boards, basically Tim the toolman Taylor. I could see Pike with the
- 15:52Elmer's glue though, just with the baseboards, the white water based glueck up.
- 16:00We're gonna take this bad boy up. It's gonna look perfect well,
- 16:03Pike, We're gonna look back to it. Get to pack in, get
- 16:06done, and get here because we don't know if Amanda is coming back for
- 16:07real, and we're getting desperate. At this point, everybody stopped listening.
- 16:11That's why we need your here, Pike, so obviously, pack up,
- 16:14pack up safe. We're your back brace nice and tight, and we will.
- 16:18We'll talk to you tomorrow. You got it, bland Is three days
- 16:21from now. We'll be there in the old five sticks five sticks. Oh
- 16:26yeah, And what you're saying is you'll show up on Sunday at five pm
- 16:29and be sleeping at the radio station. We'll see how we'll see how kid
- 16:33rocks bar treats men invite Sunday. I am quite excited for that check in.
- 16:40Oh boy, well, you guys are great. I love you.
- 16:42Um you know you just see so much to me. Love you two.
- 16:48Pike Bye bye, Pike Bye,
