- 1:27I'm joined by Tatiana King d Grand That's just a Tech also known as
- 1:32j Prince of All saying, Limp Biscuits, Sclore, La Grod, Gucci,
- 1:37Mandalorian Good, Grief Cargo, brest in Power, doctor doing something strange
- 1:42for some change, Tessa Rak Thompson, doc Acky and the Ting of the
- 1:47North. Oh man, damn it. I was trying to come with a
- 1:51new one for Apollo Creed too, but uh, that's a right, yeah,
- 1:56that's the right welcome. I'll definitely dodd that soon. Oh yeah,
- 2:00that hit that hard. That hit us hard. That's why I wanted to
- 2:04make sure we made talked about this first, because that hit everybody hard across
- 2:09the industry. Fans alike rest in Power, Carl Weathers he you know,
- 2:16known for Apollo Creed and Rocky Star Wars. You know, Grief Cargo,
- 2:21That's where my aka came from. Predator, I mean literally right there,
- 2:27Predator, like everything, the greatest handshake of all time. White racism was
- 2:35over. Racism is over with that handshake of that handshake. But unfortunately,
- 2:44you know, unfortunate news that came out that Car Weather's passed away. He
- 2:47was seventy six. You know, while he's still he lived a very you
- 2:53know, longer fruitful life and he was loved by millions obviously. You know,
- 2:57I never think that anyone should pass the seventy six. I really,
- 3:00I'm a believer that I hope if you want to, not everyone wants to,
- 3:02I hope you live to at least ninety really get to that point where'
- 3:07it's like all right, I'm done, you know what I mean. So,
- 3:10but yeah, he passed, unfortunately, and that hurt my soul for
- 3:15sure. That hurt my soul. Man. I mean, I grew up
- 3:17on Carl Weathers. I wasn't the biggest Rocky fan growing up, but I
- 3:21became a Rocky fan later on in life, Like I watched all the films
- 3:23and really grew to appreciate what sallon and what Carl had done with those movies,
- 3:30and then with the Creed films obviously carrying that on. But Predator,
- 3:35like, I know, that's that's that's one of the things, even when
- 3:38I first met you, was doing that. To this day, I don't
- 3:42think an episode, like every ten episodes, you're gonna mention something about Predator,
- 3:46something about Predator. It's just one of my favorite films of all time.
- 3:50It's just perfectly cast. I've watched documentaries on it, you know,
- 3:53the making of Read the Script. It's just so great. And Carl's part
- 3:59of that magic. And one thing I just want to talk about from it
- 4:01is like they said that because they were all in the jungle together. So
- 4:04it's all these dudes, they're all you know, Arnold what's the name,
- 4:09who became the governor, the from from a wrestler, all these super muscle
- 4:14bound men testosteron, just going through the roof, and they would all work
- 4:17out together except for Carl Weathers. And Carl Weathers would always just you know,
- 4:25show up to set looking ripped, and you know, they're all working
- 4:30out together, and He's just like, oh, yeah, you guys still
- 4:31need to work out whatever. You know, was they juicing and he wasn't?
- 4:36Was that what it was? This negro wake up in the middle of
- 4:39the night and go off into the jungle by himself and work out by himself
- 4:45so that he could just come up and show up to set rip wouldn't act
- 4:47like he was just you know, he was just had it like that.
- 4:49You want to know what that is? And I just realized this he's a
- 4:54Capricorn. He was a Capricorn. He was born on We happy we shared
- 4:57the same birthday. Generator. Wow, and that is such a Capricorn move.
- 5:00We are going to move in silence and everything we do and then show
- 5:05up like say something. Say that is true to form for me for sure,
- 5:11and that what you just shared reminds me of some of the stories literally,
- 5:15like the day of people were sharing on Twitter like there was someone I
- 5:19think they were a PA or something on a set of Star Wars of Mandalorian
- 5:25and they were up the craft tent or booth or whatever, and they went
- 5:29to go get some snatch, you know, something sweet. You know,
- 5:31just like black people, you need something. You need something sweet at the
- 5:33end. Right, So they went, they got some cookies and they saw
- 5:38some ice cream, so they put a little and nobody else is doing it.
- 5:41They put a drop of ice cream and two cookies and put it on
- 5:44the side in his little plate. And he said, Carl pulled up behind
- 5:46him and yelled out ice cream sandwich excellent. Right, And he said,
- 5:53from that moment on like he felt the person who's seeing this story. He
- 5:56said, he felt like the man because you know, to that he rest
- 6:00Carl, you know, off for something little, but the fact that Carl
- 6:02brought so much joy and happiness and and just just positivity when he was around.
- 6:11And vibrancy. That's a great word everyone, vibrancy to everything. I
- 6:15mean, I know that him and Stallone had their differences, but the video
- 6:18that Stallone posted was really touching as well. I know that, you know,
- 6:23immediately people were responding like what slone was did just to Carl on et
- 6:26cetera. Right now, I don't know exactly how it ended for them,
- 6:29but I know that they did create iconic work together and that you know,
- 6:32both launched both of their careers, so I know they both owe each other
- 6:36a great debt. And it was great to see Stallone come out and you
- 6:40know, make that plane. But man, Creditor, I didn't see Arnold.
- 6:45I haven't seen Arnold talk about him yet. I know. I'm just
- 6:49it just didn't float in our in our algorithm. But I'm sure Arnold he
- 6:54dropped us off in the merinder, you know, like Action Jackson is another
- 6:58one, like it's it's not a good movie to me, but it is
- 7:01a you know, it's a classic eighties action movie and It's like they tried
- 7:05to give Carl Weathers that leading role and he does shoot one man with a
- 7:10grenade launcher, but before he does, he says, how do you like
- 7:15your ribs? You know, yes, and then shoots him in the ribs
- 7:20with the grenade launcher. You know, oh my gosh. That Also,
- 7:25he actually Carl voiced a character called Combat Karl and Toy Story four, So
- 7:30I'm sure that had something to do with what's his action Jones? You said,
- 7:32what atri Jackson and Jackson whatever? All of his great eighties action roles,
- 7:39I mean action Jackson was like when he finally got the starring role and
- 7:42it just it was cool. You know, it had its moments. Yeah,
- 7:45so yeah, you know, respect love to call Weathers so many iconic
- 7:49roles. I know, he was on Arrested Development. You know, he's
- 7:53funny as hell. That's the other thing people don't get. I mean I
- 7:56knew it from you know, going back to Predator everything. But he is
- 8:00funny. He was charismatic, like you said, just vibrant, full of
- 8:05life, just yeah, I mean, athletic, diesel be on belief just
- 8:11you know, man, it's fucking Carl Weather's dog. Just one of the
- 8:13greats, like yeah, the greats, like just rings a smile to your
- 8:18face, like come on, man, and closer than you think as well,
- 8:22because it took me a couple of days to realize that. Back in
- 8:24twenty seventeen, I actually interviewed him. Oh, when we were formally known
- 8:30as fan Brose. I interviewed him at Comic Con and we'll put up the
- 8:35link on our socials. But I'm looking at the video right now like he
- 8:39was at the time. He was promoting Explosion Jones. I don't know if
- 8:43you remember that. I think it was a short lived series that was on
- 8:46fx L. Ray thought was I. I don't know where you were,
- 8:52but I interviewed so many people that year. I was. I was definitely
- 8:56overworked that year, but I mean it was an incredible conversation as I'm watching
- 9:01it, like this man was huge too. He's just like this big hole.
- 9:05Yeah, yeah, man, predator that whoa Like he's up there with
- 9:11Arnold. You remember this is Arnold's for this nigga and Carl's standing right next
- 9:16to him. Yeah. But he I remember him being very kind and he
- 9:20made me laugh, Like I see myself laughing during the conversation and it's probably
- 9:24a two and a half minute long long conversation I have with him. But
- 9:26he was just so cool and I just, you know, definitely just the
- 9:31fact that you know, six degrees of separation type selff like it was one
- 9:35degree separation. We we literally talked to the man and he enjoyed the conversation
- 9:39with us too. So again, rest in power, Carl weathers oh Man,
- 9:45Yeah, oh yeah, so twenty seventeen. Man, in a minute,
- 9:50I'm tight. I didn't get to speak to him. But give me
- 9:52some good news real quick. All right. Good news is we know,
- 9:58and I hope people listen that you were a guest on the new and improved
- 10:01Drunk Black History Show starring American Collins, featuring DJ benha Mean, the one
- 10:07of the authors of Hendricks, one of the most prolific famous worldwide DJs in
- 10:16all of the six one six. Also, uh, you guys, I
- 10:20know he basically interviewed you on that show. Oh yeah, I gotta go
- 10:24back and listen to it because I was drunk, you know, as junk
- 10:28Black History that so I do want to go back and listen to it because
- 10:31I want to. I always like to hear myself get interview because I'm so
- 10:35used to interviewing other people, so I like to hear, you know,
- 10:39interviews and see what I say during the interview. So I'm definitely gonna check
- 10:41that out. And yeah, we did talk about Heindrid twitch. If you're
- 10:46watching right now on YouTube or on twitch dot tv slash for all nerds,
- 10:50you can see right here the big front page of Titans. This is previews,
- 10:56the comic shops catalog as it's known, and so every different company has
- 11:01their little section in here, and Titan Publishing has their section double page spread
- 11:07opening two pages, so it's serious. Yes, this is Titans opening to
- 11:13their section of this month's previews boom double page spread, as it's called a
- 11:20gem of the month. Do you last week we were talking about how like
- 11:26you were trying to get understanding this is happening. Does this feel more real?
- 11:31Now you have way more real And I've also talked to my editor and
- 11:35you know, they confirmed some more things, So yeah, I mean,
- 11:37this is seeing this, Like I said, what I saw in previews last
- 11:41week, it was starting to feel really real. But holding it in my
- 11:45hand and knowing that comic shops around the world are now pre ordering, So
- 11:50please, dope, pre order Hindreds Purple Haze from your local comic shop or
- 11:54from Amazon, or from your local bookstore or from a big bookstore. I
- 11:58don't give it, damn, but pre order Hindreds Purple Haze right now.
- 12:03Stop this podcast and go pre order and then come back and listen to the
- 12:07rest. Yes, oh see, you did it. Thanks. Yes.
- 12:11And also just a reminder to people, like when we talk about the creative
- 12:15process and how much real time goes into these things, like years now,
- 12:20I made the the anale you'r euphemism that DJ Benhamin has been working on this
- 12:26all his life, which in fact, in many ways he has. But
- 12:28literally the production of this title has taken years and it's you know it,
- 12:35and in that time ben Imin has worked on other things. So that's why
- 12:37I just want to remind people things like that, like by the time you
- 12:41see certain most films, by the time you see certain TV shows, at
- 12:45the time you see certain works of arts, it's years in the making,
- 12:48years past that point. So you know, it's a lot in terms of
- 12:54there could be a huge difference of where that person was mentally creatively when they
- 12:58did that project to now. Sometimes they've just been sitting there waiting for the
- 13:03moment. You know. Sometimes, like Benamese case, it doesn't feel real
- 13:05until it's actually sitting out there in the flesh. So just just again,
- 13:09just want people to be mindful of that. Yeah, and for this just
- 13:11feels like still it feels like one of the best things I've written. I
- 13:15know I'm gonna write many more things in the future, but like, even
- 13:18with that, it's gonna be interesting because this is you know, it's a
- 13:26few years old at this point, at least the genesis of the idea.
- 13:28The revisions of it were done you know, up until months ago, but
- 13:33the genesis of the idea is years old, so it's to be interesting to
- 13:37see how it holds up, I guess, you know. But to everyone
- 13:39else's brand new, you know, new to you, and to me it's
- 13:43like, oh man, we came up with this a minute ago, right
- 13:46but right, yeah, to everyone else is to be brand new and interesting,
- 13:48so this is to be it. This whole process has been so weird
- 13:54and like mellow, you know. In this book is credited as the critically
- 13:58acclaimed writer Blade Runner, so he's been through this before. You know,
- 14:03I've never been through anything like this before, so this is so interesting to
- 14:07me, honestly. And I was looking at Airbnbs and a hotel. Oh
- 14:09my god, the hotels for fucking San Diego are already redunk. I don't
- 14:15know how people do it, Like you can't get a hotel. It's already
- 14:18like five hundred and six hundred the night. Okay, well good, because
- 14:22what are we supposed to do that Because I don't have a hote we don't
- 14:26have a hotel. I'm looking at Airbnb already, So that's what I'm about
- 14:28to do. I'm about to book all like I'm about the book in the
- 14:31next week, because you know, it's confirmed its coming out. We're launching
- 14:35at San Diego Comic Con. It comes out the Willia. Everyone else were
- 14:39able to get it the week after the Wednesday after that, yeah, July.
- 14:45So it's fucking nuts, man. This is actually forgot about that,
- 14:48Like I have no no flight, no nothing. I forgot all about me
- 14:52either. It's time. It's time to get on it because yeah, so
- 14:56San Diego coma Con is July twenty fifth through July twenty eighth, twenty twenty
- 15:01four. Yeap, so gotta get up on that. Also, y'all should
- 15:07get up on my quote interview in USA Today. Nice Yes, yours truly
- 15:13was one of the featured voices in an article titled Easter Ray says Hollywood needs
- 15:20to be accountable. Here's why diverse shows are so important. Shout out to
- 15:24Felicia who Felicia Riddell who interviewed me, and also shout out to Cheyenne and
- 15:30Lulu, she also was a good company joined me in this in this article,
- 15:35But we basically talked about, you know, how we felt about Easter
- 15:39Ray's comments about you know, the industry being fucked up, especially with how
- 15:43it comes to black led shows and how the creativity is being stifled and how
- 15:48all that DEI stuff was bullshit and also like her comments like in time like
- 15:52I love, I love what she has said. That was even a title
- 15:56of our last week's episode, you know, scared and clueless, and that's
- 15:58how she feels about the executives when it comes to pushing diversity in the in
- 16:03the entertainment space and the lack of support and all this other stuff that again
- 16:08us us, this podcast being ten years in the game is just like yo,
- 16:11this is a big giant fucking circle, Like, asn't we just fucking
- 16:15talking about this? So yeah, and it's like today I was in Anyone
- 16:19Comments speaking with the owner of Dmitri and Dmitri and Joe Illige have put out
- 16:25the Black Guide to I can't remember the official name to it to Comic Books,
- 16:29and they've had two volumes of this where they list all the comic book
- 16:33shops that are owned by black during people of color, and all the books
- 16:37that are written and created by black people and people of color. And at
- 16:41one point, after the Black Lives Matter movement and et cetera, they had
- 16:45a thirty three percent rise in people of color hirings, et cetera, comic
- 16:51shops, everything being created. Then now we are negative that thirty three and
- 17:02they've taken steps backs because because they're not being publicly taken a task anymore.
- 17:08And this is not a blame on the public. This is this is clearly
- 17:12on The blame is with the studios. The blame is with the decision makers
- 17:17and the big wigs and the corporate heads and everything who were all lip service
- 17:21from Jump. It was all lip servers for Jump. Because I feel I've
- 17:23always felt this if they really fucking cared, They would have been doing this
- 17:26since the beginning if it really fucking mattered and would the impetus wouldn't have been
- 17:30black lives matter. The impetus wouldn't have been black people dying, not that
- 17:36we have stopped, but dying in the streets and it being on TV every
- 17:38other day. That this wouldn't have been an impetus. But you know,
- 17:42all that was lip service and I didn't believe it, not from a I
- 17:45told you so perspective, but just from a I I you know, it's
- 17:49for me, it's about action. I want to see what you do,
- 17:52not what you say. And y'all wasn't doing sh it before. So here
- 17:56we are. Well, let me say I told you so because I said
- 18:00the jump that I thought the phrase black lives matter was the weakest shit I'd
- 18:03ever heard. I'll still say that to this day. I believe that.
- 18:07Yeah, I believe that black lives matter have always mattered in this country.
- 18:08It mattered during slavery, It matters now when they're shooting us in the streets.
- 18:12It always matters. You know, we're capital so that matters. But
- 18:17the idea that black lives matter, you know, now is some bullshit,
- 18:19and it was weak and it had no power to it. And that's what
- 18:22I always said, because I'm not old enough to have been there, but
- 18:26I know that there was other phrases like black power and power to the people,
- 18:30power to the people, power to all people. So that is a
- 18:33much more powerful phrase than Black lives matter, because black lives matter. One
- 18:37is diverse, is diversive, and it doesn't say divisive diversity. It's everything.
- 18:44Oh yeah, that's interesting that you think it's divisive. Oh yeah,
- 18:48it is because people are like because one because white, I mean, it's
- 18:51it's divisive, like in the way that white people are going to be like,
- 18:55oh, and it doesn't do shit for black people, so it's pointless
- 18:57to me. So it's like, so, so at least if you're gonna
- 19:00have white people mean, you can say black power or you can say power
- 19:03to I hear what you're saying. So is it divisive? And its phrasers
- 19:08the divisive in the ways and take it and black people will take a different
- 19:14way because of its phrasing, because I took it a different way. Its
- 19:17meaning, fuck that bullshit, you know this is good, do nothing.
- 19:19You took it that no, but you took it as it being weak.
- 19:22I'm talking about people who literally the only way they saw it was water water
- 19:26this life. Who cares about them? Because that's what I'm thinking. Those
- 19:30type of people are gonna be upset no matter what you say, So fuck
- 19:33them. But if you're gonna say something, say something that matters. You
- 19:37know, Black lives matter doesn't matter. Mmm. Wow, I've said it.
- 19:42You know, I said it before. I wasn't as harsh about it
- 19:45before because I didn't want to hurt people's feelings. But fuck that ship.
- 19:48It didn't matter. All they was made some people rich. While I don't
- 19:52one hundred percent agree with your sentiments, what I did agree with you on
- 19:56was the fact that from a marketing and branding perspective, if it wasn't strong
- 20:00and marketing degree and so it just pure. And this is this is pure
- 20:04from a business culture perspective, because especially in a capitalistic society, you gotta
- 20:11look at it in that way, like it was hard to market that.
- 20:15And I said that, there's aspects that I get what you're saying. It
- 20:19marketed very well for the people who needed to market well for Oh see,
- 20:22that's what I'm saying. Like it's like you want to talk about, you
- 20:26know it being in business and everything, and that's what it was. And
- 20:27I'm not about that business shit. I'm about ship that says like power to
- 20:30the people. You know, shit is like taking the power away from the
- 20:34people have it and giving it bad people. I'm about socialism, I'm about
- 20:37things like that. I'm not about capitalist ship. You know, I'm not
- 20:41about creating more black capitalists. I think that's a waste of time. I
- 20:44don't feel like that's going to save you know, like the world if there's
- 20:48more black millionaires, I just feel like, you know, more billionaires is
- 20:49more of a problem. You know, yeah, a couple more black millionaires
- 20:55might help, but even then, you know, give away your money,
- 20:59you know, just figure out a way to make you know, money for
- 21:02everyone, you know, universal banking, basic income, things of that nature.
- 21:06But all this whole you know, bad to to wrap it up with
- 21:08this point, Black lives Matter and all that. Man, that shit was
- 21:11such a and it's like that's where you see the effect now because now we
- 21:15have even less you know, books being created, and I will say part
- 21:19of that is on the people. And that's something that we're going to focus
- 21:22on more on this show, and we do focus on it, but I'm
- 21:26about to start doing videos. We're I'll be covering independent creator, black owned
- 21:32creator, own books, things of that nature. I mean, we do
- 21:34have hindrance, you know, coming from me, which is a it's from
- 21:38Titan, but it is a independent, you know, published creator right here,
- 21:45So you know that we're going to you know, we're going to cover
- 21:48that. But what I do want to say is it's on the people to
- 21:52seek these things out right, Like there was this big push for the whole
- 21:56recast the child thing. I know, I'm just I'm attacking everybody's phrase right
- 22:00now, but that was another one that I didn't like because it centered everything
- 22:03around to Challa instead of centering things on There's all these characters that are created
- 22:08by black people, on brown people and people of color and ostracize people.
- 22:14So why aren't we focused on all of them? And I used to say
- 22:17that to the recast of child people, I belave, when was the last
- 22:18time you bought it? Independently created, own comic book, creator, own
- 22:22comic book that features of poc. Why are you so focused on this one
- 22:30that comes from Marvel, who can do anything they want with this character at
- 22:33any time, because people want to change what the mainstream is doing. But
- 22:38that's not how revolutions ever work. You want to start a revolution, you
- 22:44change one person, you don't change ten people. That's not how they work.
- 22:48You change one person one hundred percent. You don't change one hundred people
- 22:52one percent. And that's all you're doing with a book like Black Pants.
- 22:56We talked about this before, you know, Like as much as I love
- 22:59Black Panther, I even said something like Abbot Elementary, which returns this week,
- 23:03is more important than Black Panther, you know. And even Abbott is
- 23:07another show that's created by a large corporation that we have no control over.
- 23:11So we need to do better at supporting things that we do have control over.
- 23:17And one last thing, since I'm tearing down everybody and finish this up,
- 23:21the fucking Grammys brouh Like, I don't want to hear it. I
- 23:25want to hear about the oscras we talked about the oscars last week. When
- 23:27I don't want to hear this no never again, fam like, but I
- 23:33what it like, I don't want to hear who won who lost. I
- 23:37don't care if you're mate said this if you're making black music and you're seeking
- 23:41the gaze of white people, you're not doing right by making black music.
- 23:45You make black music for black people. And then what happens after that happens.
- 23:51But this, like, you know, oh my god, I didn't
- 23:52get a Grammy. Who here's a fuck? Like Beyonce's album is Beyonce's album?
- 23:59You know? Yeah? Yeah? And I also think it's it's two
- 24:03things can be true at the same time, and and Beyonce is actually indicative
- 24:07of that, Like you don't hear her talking about, oh I didn't get
- 24:11a Grammy, but that it's true what Jay said that you know, by
- 24:15the numbers and bye bye, by logic and even popularity that she should have
- 24:19had outen the year, for example, at the same time Jay and and
- 24:22being what regards of how you feel about people, and I'm talking to everyone
- 24:26listening, gods, how you feel about Jay and and capitalism and all that
- 24:29stuff. They have done their own and they have said fuck y'all streaming platform
- 24:33and fuck y'all publishering, and fuck y'all label and done it themselves. So
- 24:40but those are black billionaires too. So you know, like I said,
- 24:42there's a lot of things that are right, but there are a lot of
- 24:45things that are true at the same time. So listen, I hear what
- 24:48you're saying about you know, you should just make the art and whatever happens
- 24:52happens cool. I also do think people get to talk about their displeasure is
- 24:57being handled. To me, it's so disrespectful in the in the larger view
- 25:02of like and that's something that Hendrix focuses on, like the larger view of
- 25:07what black music is about. It's wild disrespectful to who came before you when
- 25:12you're worried about this ship because who came before you put out classes that didn't
- 25:17get that Album of the Year. None of them did you know, got
- 25:22it? Like the word worried, like no one said j Yeah, they
- 25:27can say what they say. I'm saying. I'm saying the people like,
- 25:32that's my thing. When we're sitting here arguing about the Grammys instead of creating
- 25:36our own award shows or supporting our own award shows, that's when I'm saying,
- 25:41that's why I putting on the people. I'm yeah, I hear what
- 25:45you're saying. That's fair. Now we gotta flip that because we do have
- 25:49our own and people do support it, but what when those award shows don't
- 25:53even support us back for example, interestingly, and I'm glad you brought this
- 25:59up literally, like that's the next day, I think BT started posting a
- 26:03bunch of stuff, a bunch of ad type things saying come where you're celebrating.
- 26:07And I thought it was cute at first, but then people started pointing
- 26:11out that was like, that's interesting because if you're a queer creator of color,
- 26:15you you aren't celebrated, and they kind of not even kind of they
- 26:18will ignore you. If you are in other genres that's not primarily rap or
- 26:23hip hop or or R and B, you're gonna get ignored. But but
- 26:32further point about us doing it, us doing it for ourselves, right,
- 26:37and you can and again, this is for ourselves, you know That's I'm
- 26:41just gonna say. Technically, BT ain't for us. BT is on my
- 26:45viacom, Come on by the White So I get it, But what about
- 26:51sh like N double a C P where you know that I don't know.
- 26:57It's like so many things can be true at once, Like, yes,
- 27:00why don't you just push your own people's okay, but then what about when
- 27:03those institutions. Is not even pushing your own people or pushing y'all up.
- 27:07And what I've said this before though, like and I've talked about this.
- 27:10So oscris were originally created by producers who said, if I give these afters
- 27:14shiny things, still do any fucking movie I want. So it's always been
- 27:18some bullshit, even for whitey, you know. So like when black people
- 27:22are worried about, well, whitey shouldn't be worried about that's exciting. That's
- 27:27like, come on, fam, y'all gotta realize this. It's a joke,
- 27:30you know, Like all that shit is a joke. You know.
- 27:33It's like they give these awards to make people like, oh look at you.
- 27:37You know, come here, doggie, you know, do what I
- 27:40want and don't fall for the trick, fam, you know. And then
- 27:44the art, the real art doesn't win them. Shit, you know,
- 27:49it just doesn't. It's a popularity contest, and the popular shit is not
- 27:56the art, you know, the shit that pushes the list. Then there's
- 28:00sometimes there's intersections when that's the truth truth, but it doesn't get afforded as
- 28:06we see. Yes, I mean, like I said, when I found
- 28:08out the princes don't have the album of the year. Come on, man,
- 28:11it look I like that Beyonce album. But I needed didn't Michael neither
- 28:14didn't Michael Michael, Michael Jackson. What are we talking about? You know?
- 28:18Like, what are we talking about? Like that should be your argument,
- 28:22Like every time you go up and like you win award, like you
- 28:23should you up and throw it on the ground, like Michael Jackson ain't win
- 28:26ship in the storm off stage. But I mean there's people who say ship
- 28:30like like something that pop that popped up was like Adele when a Dell went
- 28:34Album of the Year, and you know, she thanked them, but at
- 28:37the same time she was like, bro, I can't really accept this because
- 28:40right there, yea, that's the one who influenced me. She said,
- 28:42that's the one who did all because she was talking about l One. Yeah.
- 28:48So all I'm saying is a lot of things can be true at once,
- 28:52Like what you're saying is facts. Also there's other things to that that
- 28:56that are offer different shades of that approach. I just think we got to
- 29:00stop making uh this fole and it's damn near an impossible fight because people make
- 29:06a living off of it. But this outrage economy, you know, whereas
- 29:11like everyone is going to write an article, Everyone's going to get them tweets
- 29:15off, you know, and it's just like all raising the Grammary's profile with
- 29:19every word you put into that seo. Well, that came that came into
- 29:23play. In my view, outrage culture came into play with social media when
- 29:30when When? Yeah, and not the advent of social media maybe five years
- 29:33six years in when it was just more prevalent. And like literally like people
- 29:37who are big time now started on social media, Hi guys us so,
- 29:44but you know what I'm saying, like that, that's that's where you got
- 29:45your voice and your footing a lot of times if you're a blogger, things
- 29:48like that. And and not to say like obviously op eds have always existed,
- 29:52you know, in newspapers and things like that, but this, but
- 29:53social media literally bought the op ed to your door from everyone from every read
- 30:00background for every topic. And then so people have made a living off of
- 30:06just being outraged. And you know, uh, you know, I have
- 30:10umbridge, I'm outraged over this, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 30:14nigga, we got it all up. This is where we live. We
- 30:17gotta take a break right now, cause when we come back, we're gonna
- 30:18talk about some other people who are making living off outrage. And please,
- 30:22but what before y'all take Before we take the break, Hey, make sure
- 30:26y'all listen to Ben I mean type in Ben I mean drunk Black History.
- 30:29To make sure y'all listen to him, and make sure y'all type in he'say

- 32:27Yeah, a lot of surprises, a lot of giveaways, a lot more
- 32:30things coming with that. You know, we we are living. We going
- 32:32on. Things are still popping, you know, unlike some other people out
- 32:36here, a lot of unconfirmed reports going on right now, is all I
- 32:43can say. I've talked to some of my sources, you know. I
- 32:46will say that I had a long call with one of my sources today and
- 32:52they confirmed a lot of what I've been reading and what I've been speculating on
- 32:54and what I've been seeing. Yeah, it looks like my Grosoft is going
- 33:01to pretty much call it a day on the hardware. That's the long run
- 33:09of it. The short run of it is that you'll be able to get
- 33:13Xbox dames anywhere you want because there won't be any more exclusives. Yes,
- 33:17so the hard way going away is gonna be like, like, what are
- 33:22we on Xbox? What's the what is the name of the one that's out
- 33:24right now? Which one? Like the big black Box? What's the name
- 33:30of that the Xbox? What do you mean? Yeah, it's Xbox one,
- 33:35right Xbox? Okay, Well, there ain't gonna be no Xbox two.
- 33:38The series X, I don't know. Yeah, there's gonna be no
- 33:40series X. There ain't gonna be no series next series X. This is
- 33:45you know, yeah, this is the Yeah, okay, Michael Jackson,
- 33:51this is it? Yeah, basically like what but I mean saying this,
- 33:54this could potentially, and I mean maybe the writing's on the wall at this
- 33:59point. Maybe potentially it's too two two weeks of a word. Yeah,
- 34:01this this could spell the end of the console wars and the end of several
- 34:07several erarors that spanned since I was a child and I grew up knowing nothing,
- 34:12nothing except there's always a console war. There's always a console war.
- 34:15And to be honest with you, been I mean after PS five dropped and
- 34:19then the Xbox dropped, Like what were we talking about now six years ago
- 34:23at this point, not the most recent Uh well damn how long has PS
- 34:29five been out? Now? Okay? Yeah, well the generation before that.
- 34:35That's when I actually started going, ah, this ship is kind of
- 34:38done because like m M, the only thing you had were the exclusives to
- 34:44really tell the difference between the two systems, and like it wasn't like there
- 34:46was like back in the day, like we're talking about N sixty four and
- 34:50shit like that, or GameCube and in PS three's and shit like that,
- 34:53Like there was market differences and the things in the way shit looked in the
- 34:59graphics, in the gameplay, in the libraries, right, But there were
- 35:02always the aspect of exclusives, and basically all the streets is saying that Microsoft
- 35:09is going to do away with exclusives and that literally, especially their marquee flasher
- 35:15titles like Starfield, all that shit gonna becoming all platforms allegedly not not yeah
- 35:22once again, like you you know you weren't saying I told you so,
- 35:24I'm gonna say it ain't allegedly anymore. It's over. It's a rapstick.
- 35:30And it's basically because crazy games cost way too fucking much money and there ain't
- 35:36enough money to be made on game Pass. And that's all Xbox was offered
- 35:39was you know, oh you got an exclusive game, put it on game
- 35:43Pass, and niggas is like, nah, family ain't making no money off
- 35:45of that to ass hundreds of million dollars, ten years of our life making
- 35:47this shit, Like nigga, please, So I mean I mentioned Starfield,
- 35:52like they're saying like it's said to be coming to PS five and then other
- 35:57titles are coming to PS five or they have a sh or exclusivity on Xbox
- 36:00and like two weeks later they on the other platforms. And then the biggest
- 36:06which is really pisseding me off, is like like she's like Years of War,
- 36:08like when they announced new Years of War on PlayStation that that's gonna be
- 36:14on PS. And then like of course, like the streets went crazy.
- 36:19Ship he pitchforks in the street. The Xbox influencers went nuts, literally like
- 36:24publicly pulling support. This says they was showing pictures themselves buying PS fives and
- 36:30you know, signing Eulogi's. I guess they're red ringing of death all their
- 36:34Xboxes and shit like that. But I mean the level of smoke that Xbox
- 36:38is getting for all these reports and they don't go and nobody's really saying nothing
- 36:43except like Phil, like Phil's Phil Spencer, said Phil Schiller, Phil Spencer,
- 36:49he wrote on Twitter. He didn't say nothing specific. He just said,
- 36:52you know, we hear y'all, and I'm just like, you know,
- 36:57we we got an update for you. We hear you. And I'm
- 37:00like, I don't think you do. I don't I don't think you understand
- 37:04how pissed off people are. And I don't agree with I think people need
- 37:07to get a grip when it comes to especially influencers when it comes to I'm
- 37:12gonna throw my shit down the river, like okay, relax. I do,
- 37:15however, understand that sentiment about you know, that that ecosystem that is
- 37:22Xbox and Microsoft and all that other shit, and then it just it's just
- 37:27concerning. It's concerning. Well, that's the thing. Once again, we're
- 37:30back to this idea that we were talking about earlier, about this outrage economy
- 37:34and how people make their living off of things. Like I talked, I
- 37:37noticed this. I think I've seen it before, but it really came to
- 37:40focus when I saw the recast the child shit, because I was like,
- 37:45damn, people have really made their whole online identity recast the childa Like if
- 37:49you look at their pages, there's nothing but recast the Chila videos. Their
- 37:53twitters are nothing but recast job and they have nothing else to say, like
- 37:58nothing. They ain't even talking about the game that's on you know what me,
- 38:00They ain't talking about the weather. They ain't talk about shit unless it
- 38:02involved recasts of y'alla. So when these Xbox cats are like, I ain't
- 38:07talking about shit unless it involved Xbox, and then they ain't got no Xbox
- 38:10of course, all they can do right now is to be mad, because
- 38:14that's what they gotta do to drive these clicks and get this money. And
- 38:17that's why it's like, damn, yo, you're just a slave to the
- 38:21money. And that's what I saw a lot with freecasts. I see it
- 38:23with Xbox, and it's hilarious because you know, I'm you know, old
- 38:27enough where I remember, you know, the console Wars when you know,
- 38:30when Genesis was would come out and they'd be like, damn, they really
- 38:32just shitting on them to though, you know, you would feel bad because
- 38:36you know, the new Genesis shit just look better, you know, like
- 38:39damn. Like now, it's no difference. You know, when a PlayStation
- 38:45or Xbox drops, it's like it's not really much of a difference. I
- 38:47mean, the PlayStation five, you could barely tell the difference between that and
- 38:50the four, Like yeah that and it's no right, and then the the
- 38:54difference within the platform, excuse me, within the same well, I'm trying
- 39:00to say, company themselves, so like the same different generations. It's like
- 39:04an iPhone model now where it's likely incremental uphating because everything's so powerful and everything,
- 39:08honestly, everything not first of all, nothing will beat PC game just
- 39:12in terms of share, power, processing and all that other stuff. So
- 39:15so if you're just talking about number crunching and processing and all that stuff,
- 39:20a PC will always blow it out the water. But if you can pay,
- 39:23if you can pay out the ass. And what I was gonna say
- 39:28was, but that's where these consoles have come in, because they have been
- 39:31significantly less than buying a gaming rig or building a gaming rig number one and
- 39:36two, getting you pretty fucking close, if not damn near, at the
- 39:38same capabilities of a gaming allah Xbox, right, because that's a fucking PC
- 39:44basically, right, I mean, at this point, your iPhone is the
- 39:45fucking PC. You know. You know, I don't. I don't know
- 39:50why I'm gonna call it like, you know, PC class level of processing.
- 39:53But the point is, like Microsoft, I mean, they I told
- 39:58you I felt like two generations ago, I was just like, you know,
- 40:00I didn't feel the excitement anymore. I didn't feel like it was much
- 40:06of a fat fight or battle. And apparently they've been in a distant third
- 40:09place all this time when it came to console sales and things like that.
- 40:14And then a few months ago they bought Activision Blizzard, so, which is
- 40:17a gaming publisher, one of the, if not the largest gaming publasher in
- 40:21the world. So, like I always saw that Microsoft is kept pushing back
- 40:24towards the way of software, like Okay, well we'll we'll publish games to
- 40:28make the games, but it's going to the multi platform they are. I
- 40:32mean, like you said, it probably in a distant future or maybe in
- 40:36a two three years future. I don't know. I don't know how distant
- 40:39the future really is when it comes to them, but they may say I
- 40:43fucked the hardware, like it's also it's just like where can you go at
- 40:46this point? No, it's a rap where can you go? Yeah,
- 40:49it's a wrap Like like I said, there will be no xbots next,
- 40:52this is it. Yeah, you know there there will be a PlayStation six,
- 40:57there will be no more s Box. This is it. And I
- 41:01know you said you didn't want to compare them to like you know, the
- 41:05Amigas, the Neo Geo's, the Atari's. I I I'm not gonna do
- 41:14that comparison because those were obsolete. Those were beat because they became obsolete and
- 41:19they didn't catch up. Xbox is not an obsolete system. It's it's it
- 41:22will be beyond measure. It will be because they're not going to keep developing
- 41:25for it. That's what I mean. Am I say developed for it?
- 41:29Am I talking about the games to talking about the hardware itself and the platform
- 41:31architecture. I don't think it's a situation where they just got beat out because
- 41:36time went by and one Nigga was a DVD and one Nigga was an MP
- 41:38three. I don't think it's that. That's when you talk about the old
- 41:42ass fucking systems that would happened to them. They got blown out the world
- 41:45time pass. But see let's let's you know, but be correct. At
- 41:49the when it happened, it wasn't like that though. It's like, Okay,
- 41:52Sega was developing it, so tell me, yeah, I know,
- 41:54okay Sega was developing along the same Nintendo eight bit, eight bit, six
- 42:00team bit, sixteen bit, Oh is what happened to and then just kept
- 42:05on going. They were not too much, not too much. That's not
- 42:10exactly what happened, first of all Sega, because that's when I start coming
- 42:14to place talk about Dreamcast. What actually happened with Sega had nothing to do
- 42:19with being on par technology, technology, technology wise, they were, they
- 42:22were killing it. Technology wise, they were, but once again they what
- 42:30they did not have was the marketing. What they did not have were the
- 42:32titles, and what they did not have were the people and the support behind
- 42:36it. Dreamcast above, Dreamcast as a system was far and above all other
- 42:42consoles at that time, but all these other shortcomings is what doomed them,
- 42:46and that's what eventually doomed Sega. But listen to that, like, and
- 42:52that's what I don't think that And at this point the same technology is just
- 42:58too advanced for one can't be better. But what is doing Xbox is marketing,
- 43:02is games, is everything else. So it is the same thing because
- 43:07now when PS six comes out, Xbox will be left finding the dust.
- 43:12And even if they were a better system, what killed them They lost the
- 43:16war. These wars have happened before, and it's it is Look, I've
- 43:21seen it, you know, Like that's what I'm saying. I've been through
- 43:23many of themselves. Like that's what happens. So Xbox is now you know
- 43:30you know what I mean where it's like, come on, loser, We're
- 43:31going you know, you didn't lose it. We're going. Yeah, we're
- 43:37going to be obsolete, you know, be atari because it's not like the
- 43:43Xbox is obsolete. That's not what's happening here. It's not like the Dreamcast
- 43:46was obsolete. It was they had no I think you're saying it had a
- 43:54similar didn't going on. We're going on the ride to be obsolete, and
- 44:00I think I think what you're right and saying is that it was a simil
- 44:02situation to Dreamcast. They were too much, too fast, or too ahead
- 44:06of time, or whatever else you want to say. But absolute makes me
- 44:08gis me again. My definition, my understanding of that definition obsolete is that
- 44:13you're not keeping up. And that's not what's happening with x about. They
- 44:15are keeping up from a text perspective, but that's not the issue. It
- 44:17wasn't the issue with Saga either, and they that Rod it's not obsolete.
- 44:23That's all I'm saying. I'm the word is you're saying, Yet it's going
- 44:27to because I want to fucking get better with it, That's what I'm saying.
- 44:35Dreamcast. If we were doing this podcast twenty years ago, you'd be
- 44:38sitting there talking about Dreamcast is better, and I'd be sitting there talking about
- 44:43not not yet, and it's the same one takes the l one takes the
- 44:52dub and you know I mean obsolete. But okay, not yet. Stop
- 44:57saying not yet. That's not the reasonable. It's out because it's not yet.
- 45:00Sleep we know that PUS five is gonna it's already fucking obsolete. You're
- 45:05thinking about it, But that's just that, that's that's not what we're talking
- 45:07about here. Dreamcast, like you said, was top of the top of
- 45:10the game, but what they didn't have was game. And I rather that
- 45:16I could get behind. You don't have the gamebox did not have game.
- 45:21I'm not talking about games. I'm talking about game game that I agree with
- 45:25that yeah, and that's and and then eventually obsolete. You know That's what
- 45:30I'm saying. Not yet, it's coming. Get in, loser, we're
- 45:44going to be You lost the console war. The funny thing is Nintendo was
- 45:50just stabbing in the back the whole time, you know what I mean time
- 45:54because both of them niggas, but it was just HBOS died. You know.
- 45:59It's like both of them niggas, Xbox and PUS are sitting there battling
- 46:04it out and Nintendo the whole time is just jabbing them both from the get
- 46:08saving the back, like they had something together and they just betraying them.
- 46:12No, no, not like that. I'm talking about just you know,
- 46:14taking little jazz. And then's well, Endo has minded his business for some
- 46:19time. And I will say that because Nintendo found their niche and said,
- 46:22fuck it, we're not gonna compete on a hardware level, like we're gonna
- 46:27upgrade our ship, but we're not gonna compete on a higher level. We're
- 46:29gonna do ship that works for our I P. Because our I P is
- 46:31gold, our i P is who we are. Nigga. We the fucking
- 46:35old school card company that made it big with not Sonic, with Super Mario
- 46:38and the rest of them, and that is and they they are focused.
- 46:43Yeah, and Sgaro miom at. So as long as that nigga live,
- 46:45that nigga that she will never fail. Okay, there it is, it
- 46:47will Nintendo will never fucking fail. Okay. So that's one thing. They
- 46:52just they're mining their business, That's what I mean. They standing in the
- 46:54laye that works for that. Yeah, Nintendo's like the environmental dangers on the
- 46:59on the but then on the versus battle, you know, and the environmental
- 47:02changes. Yeah, they attack everyone, you know, they just attacking everyone
- 47:07and smash brothers. Yeah, and eventually and argue then you can argue in
- 47:13that that Microsoft is trying to go that direction too, that they're realizing,
- 47:17you know what, we're not gonna compete with Sony on the hardware space and
- 47:21all this other space. We're gonna especially with the persons of Activision Bliger.
- 47:23They say, we're gonna fight where we know we got game. We're gonna
- 47:29fight on the software PA but they don't have that. And that's the funny
- 47:31thing. They're trying to build that out. But they do have that,
- 47:35they have that exclusives. They're just trying to make those exclusives multi platform.
- 47:38But they're the ones publishing bought at the vision that obviously dilutes the brand and
- 47:45other things. Like I said, you know, I could I get the
- 47:46anger, but here we are. Here we are. But that also this
- 47:52more gaming news that I seen to right before we started recording, that Disney
- 47:57is investing in one point five billion in Epic Games. Epic Games makes Fortnite
- 48:01yep and what they basically want to do is build out a whole Disney Universe
- 48:07on games. So they talking about Disney, Pixar and Marvel, Star Wars,
- 48:13what else, Avatar all they want to build that ship out all the
- 48:17way and you know, so you know you're gonna see all the ship integrated
- 48:21into Fortnite of course, but also just stand alone games and stand alone properties
- 48:23to build up. I don't even want to call it the m c U,
- 48:27but the but the multi verse of Disney is going to be out there
- 48:30on all platforms, and best fucking believing, I mean, there ain't no
- 48:34more. But yeah, platforms, yeah, your console, yeah, everything
- 48:44there we go. Yeah, and that's the thing, like we said,
- 48:45the Sbox one is so powerful, you know that series yeah, series whatever,
- 48:51the series AS and Series X. Yeah, they'll be able to you
- 48:54know, keep up, you know for least in that's four or five years,
- 48:58so they'll be good, you know until you know, PlayStation one up
- 49:02we I mean but even in night Yeah, we'll see, so we'll see.
- 49:06Yeah. I think you'll be able to play these Disney games there too,
- 49:09of course. And because if you do love games, you love us
- 49:14arguing and yelling about games, let me also put y'all on that February twenty
- 49:17ninth at six pm Pacific, so that's nine pm Eastern. I'm gonna be
- 49:22one of the presenters for the spawnees is talk about you earlier talking about make
- 49:28shit for yourself? Well, shout out to Khalif Adams kajas he's known on
- 49:34as one of his gamer tags home. This is his award show for gaming.
- 49:38Yep, and it's gonna be and I've never heard this before. This
- 49:42is so fucking fire. It's gonna be simulcast on Twitch and on IGN my
- 49:46mistaken beautiful. That's big time. So make sure y'all listen, listen,
- 49:52listen, and watch. As mentioned, I'm gonna be one of the presenters
- 49:55along with the other cool People's February twenty ninth, two days after my birthday
- 50:00twenty seven, So yeah, that I mean's birthday month. Remember that,
- 50:06Remember that Pisces in the house. But we ain't started yet, you know,
- 50:08with Pisces go on to March, so we basically you know, doing
- 50:12we celebrating all this month and March March. Let me tell you, yeah,
- 50:19what else we got, ben, I mean, what else do we
- 50:21have? I have a question for y'all because, uh, you know,
- 50:23the basketball has been on. I've been watching a lot of basketball lately,
- 50:27and they are bombarding me with commercials. Beyond the you know, Israel commercials,
- 50:32which is a whole other thing. They're bombarded me with commercials for this
- 50:37new Bob Barley movie and Bob Barley Are you father? Say you are?
- 50:42You're a blood Bob Barley. Bob Barley. Yeah, blood blood You're not.
- 50:49You're not feeling it. But i mean, well, first of all,
- 50:52that's not the first time. First of all, we made a whole
- 50:53fucking joke about scrolls. Remember last year when it came to about Marvelle,
- 51:00because that's when you first got wind of it. Yeah, you're not.
- 51:05I mean, I'm hoping it did premiere, and they did the premiere on
- 51:09just the red carpet, but they did do something in Jamaica like a week
- 51:14or two ago. I know, Prince Harry was down the air along with
- 51:17other some other people. His son. I'm actually yeah, one of the
- 51:22sons was there for sure. I'm good friends with Rohan. That's my Dugan.
- 51:27So I'm like, you know, really Megan, Okay, so yeah,
- 51:31they both was down there. But a sorry, I'm really hoping for
- 51:35the best, you know, I'm obviously a huge I mean, you know,
- 51:38just a massive, massive Bob Marley fan, and I love his music,
- 51:44you know, but a ya yai, what are you just scared?
- 51:47But here's my thing. My thing is this happens with damn near every biopicy
- 51:52especially It's always like this is a little sketch, it's a little so us.
- 52:01I'm not, you know, like this feels like it's a little stretch
- 52:06like all of them. But I've not heard anyone being like, nah,
- 52:07fam, they got this, you know who you asked you? I mean
- 52:12this in general, you know, like the vibe ain't been out there.
- 52:15It's just been like everyone's just like and I haven't heard like nah if yo,
- 52:20this director, this writer, you know, I haven't heard nothing about
- 52:22that. It's like, you know, that's that's just the general vibe.
- 52:25But no one said anything about anyone connected to this to reassure me that this
- 52:30ain't gonna be a hot mess. Well, this is It is a story
- 52:32by Terrence Winter and Frank E. Flowers. Both Terrence and Frank are white
- 52:38men. Damn it, I thought that was a black They're probably there are
- 52:44other people. There's other people listed as screenwriters, but as terms of story
- 52:47by list these two. I mean Terrence was known for the Sopranos, Wolf
- 52:52of Wall Street, Borwalk Empire, Boring Empire was lit, So I mean
- 52:55Wolf of Wall Street as Faro. That's one of my favorite movies for so,
- 53:00I mean, so you know, you come on, let's keep it
- 53:05real, let's keep it a both and not every episode of Theespranos a fire.
- 53:09And then like we know the cast, right like Kingsley Benaderet a k
- 53:14A Gravic a ka that that nigga King of the Scroll. Now he is
- 53:20what do you call? Right? I always did him confused, but no,
- 53:22he's not Bridgingson. He No, he's not Bridgton, is he?
- 53:29And he's talking about Yeah, And we always do this every time and everybody
- 53:32says they don't look like and whatever, nigga, they don't look alike.
- 53:36I mean talk about reggae John Page? Yes, and so which one was
- 53:39in Dutch and Dragons that was see no, no, no, no,
- 53:45it's because I just don't remember think about it in there that was reggae John
- 53:51Page. Yeah. Oh damn well he's I mean, he's great. So
- 53:55he's also Bridgeson. So what else is this negro done other than Roles King
- 54:01Benley Bentley up Bentley and Bentley and put his name together Kingsley ben iDeer.
- 54:06Yeah. Uh, let's see, he was in the OA. He was
- 54:10in like I said, he was bitch Azz Graphic he was he was a
- 54:15cannon Barbie, didn't I know that? Did not realize that anyway, Peaky
- 54:17blinders. Okay, okay, something called deep State King Arthur. I'm just
- 54:25going down the list. I'm trying to name something that World world Z.
- 54:29He was uncredited though, I mean he was, he's been, He's on
- 54:35the come up, so this is probably his biggest They give you Bob Marley.
- 54:39Can a nigga sing? Can a nigga play a guitar? Do you
- 54:43like the way he looks as Bob? No? No, straight up no
- 54:49you say no that fast? Yeah, straight up No. The nigga looks
- 54:51like himself, and like you know, Bob is much thinner. You know,
- 54:54it's just no, no, And that's another issue. It's like when
- 55:00you have like Bob, people of this nature who are born in the years
- 55:04of video where there is so much video footage of Bob, so it's very
- 55:09difficult. You know. It's like with Malcolm Is there's so much footage of
- 55:13Malcolm talking, speaking, doing all these things. So Denzel, that's why
- 55:15he's such a beast. Even I love Ray, but I feel like Ray
- 55:22is you know, Jamie Fox is one of the ones where Jamie's so talented,
- 55:27and even with Ray at parts it feels a little bit, you know,
- 55:30pushing it. You know, I will say, you know, but
- 55:32I think it's really great. But that's what I'm saying in Jamie's incredibly talented,
- 55:37Denzil's incredibly talented. This test on the come up, I'm not sure
- 55:40about incredibly talented. So oh, that's also not fair because my thing is
- 55:45we maybe not to you personally, but we as as as many people often
- 55:51complain that the same people and I want to do that, the same people
- 55:55be getting opptunes and no new niggas get the opportunity. So it's just like,
- 56:00if he was able to meet this, to be able to play this
- 56:04role, perhaps he deserves it, but we don't know until we see how
- 56:07good he could be with I didn't think that Robney Malet should have played you
- 56:12know, Freddie Mercury. So it ain't just black people. I hate,
- 56:15no, no, no, I'm just saying that fact that and Robby don't
- 56:17count because he was already big. But I'm just talking about people who haven't
- 56:21even had a chance to really do something big big, because, like,
- 56:23to me, based on his I am to be, this is probably the
- 56:25biggest thing he's ever done. So Kingsley, but also Lashawna Lynch is in
- 56:30and she plays Rita Marley his wife. No no, no response. I
- 56:38you know, it's just the overall Yeah, I don't know. This trailer
- 56:44has done nothing to inspire me. We were asking this question, you know
- 56:49what is going to be a bigger l this or Madam Web, Madam Webb
- 56:55for fucking Shore. No, because Madam Madam Webb just like I. You
- 57:01know, I can go to Madamweb and expent nothing and enjoy myself if it
- 57:07gives me anything. Okay, so now you're moving to go post so on
- 57:10what do you mean by worse? What? Let's let's start there. Let's
- 57:14define what you mean by worse and then it's like what we talked about in
- 57:19that video that's now on our Instagram and our social media where I was talking
- 57:22about real estate, like Bob Marley biopic has to do a lot more to
- 57:29be good, I just have to do a lot more. But that's like
- 57:30so to be worth my time, like I spent Madam webbing fast and furious.
- 57:38Okay, you know, and not even when the good ones, Madam
- 57:42Web looks like morevious. It looks like And I enjoyed my time in the
- 57:47theater watching Morbius. I will never watch it again. I wasn't like sitting
- 57:52there like I want to. I wanted to rip my pupils that ship was
- 58:00we were screening together. I wanted to leave. I was roasted and I
- 58:06was rolling. Maybe that's why. It's like when I saw Venom too,
- 58:10Like I thought Venom two was hilarious. I'll never watch it again. And
- 58:15Venom is on it in a different way. It's like it's not the best,
- 58:17but it's not the way. It was pretty bad, hilarious that we
- 58:21had a cameo from Little Sims. It was pretty bad. I just think
- 58:24it. But I think I think Venom. I think Venom was hilarious in
- 58:30ways that it was not. No, it was, you're right, but
- 58:32Morbius was hilarious in ways the Venom was not because Morbius was terrible, and
- 58:37so it was hilarious. You know different, there's different levels of hilarious.
- 58:40There's hilarious because this is bad, and this is hilarious because this is unconscionable.
- 58:46And I feel more more on the unconscionable side. I think I think
- 58:52Venom was hilarious because it was bad and it knew it was bad until it
- 58:54made hilarious, made fun of it. Yeah, and that's different. That's
- 58:58that's the level of self awareness that you gotta get props, like, you
- 59:01know what it is, you know what time it is, you know what
- 59:04type of time you want. Morbits did not know what type of time,
- 59:07and it was on it took itself too serious, and I think Madam Webers
- 59:09should do that same thing. And I can't wait to see you, which
- 59:12is why I said that's the little sister, And that's why if we're just
- 59:14saying I can't wait. And I know this is hard because technically these are
- 59:16apples oranges, right, We're talking about a whole biopic versus hot mess,
- 59:22hot mess potentially, so I will, I know, I guess for me
- 59:27personally speaking, I'm going to have a worse time at Madam than I would.
- 59:30I don't think so I think I might have a worst time with Bob
- 59:31Marley because I'm gonna be like, god damn unless it is that good.
- 59:36If it's that good, is that good? But I mean, you're gonna
- 59:38eat your words. Come. No, no, no, no, it's
- 59:40not even my words. I'm hoping. My words are hope. My words
- 59:44are hope that this ship is amazing. And I'm like, I had no
- 59:47idea this dude, it's really that good. That's my hope. What did
- 59:51you think of? It's acting as gravic. No, it's not inspiring me
- 59:58to be like, you can pull off Bob Marley, you know what I
- 1:00:00mean? Inspired? No, no, no, that's something completely different.
- 1:00:02But like I think he can act. Yeah, I think he can act
- 1:00:08in the silence. Okay, Bob Marley is a big difference. Next topic.
- 1:00:16Yeah, it's a big difference. Uh, well, here is something
- 1:00:20else to push you off. He should have been madam, something else to
- 1:00:23annoy you talk about giving Nigga an opportunity. There you go, Nigga could
- 1:00:32have been right there. He could have played that villain that Nigga looks like
- 1:00:39he got no charisma. Your friend and Ron Musk is funding the lawsuit for
- 1:00:46Gina Kuran first of that Nigga say he funded When I say regardless, it
- 1:00:52doesn't matter. He's loaning her a couple of testas and she's telling them.
- 1:00:55The point is and Ron they recalled everything and Ron Ell No, that stupid
- 1:01:05idiot. What are you gonna call him? He is el Roy, el
- 1:01:08Roy. He's helping Gina sue Disney for being fired from The Mandalorian. Now,
- 1:01:15she was fired back in twenty twenty one over her social media post where
- 1:01:19she compared being a Republican to being Jewish doing a Holocaust. Which, ha,
- 1:01:24that's good luck on that one. And Lucas Film just decided to recast
- 1:01:30her or I don't even know they decided to recapt it. They actually just
- 1:01:34got rid of that character altogether. Right, Yeah, they said she died
- 1:01:37on the way to our home planet. Right, And I feel like that's
- 1:01:43an old video game that does so like The Simpson's the Dog, Right,
- 1:01:46Yeah, Pooci Puchi died on the way his home planet. But that's so
- 1:01:50funny that you remember that. But come on, now, the first two
- 1:01:53or three seasons of The Simpsons is like embedded in my brain. That's like
- 1:01:58all those jokes for incredible. So yes. So the suit is for wrawful
- 1:02:06termination and discrimination of all things, and it's saying that has a demand that
- 1:02:10Lucisfam has to put her back, put her back in the show, and
- 1:02:15pay her at least seventy five k impunitive damages. And as I said,
- 1:02:20Enron is allegedly funding this suit, helping her to pay for her legal fees
- 1:02:24and shit like that, because he says, because because it occurred over a
- 1:02:29tweet. He says, well, we have a commitment to free speech,
- 1:02:31so we're gonna help Gina. You're gonna help a bigot. Okay. I
- 1:02:36hate that I'm bringing a recast again, but it feels like this is almost
- 1:02:39in the same situation where people are demanding something from this mega corporation and then
- 1:02:45it's like, you don't know what you're asking for. But I imagine since
- 1:02:49Chila was in the MCU right now, as bad as the MCU is right
- 1:02:52now, you know what I mean, they'd be like damn, like they
- 1:02:55probably be wasting this time too, might think she is super No, Like,
- 1:03:00imagine they put her ass back on, Like would you really want to
- 1:03:02be on a man? The lawyer right now? I don't know, And
- 1:03:05that was the second point I was gonna make, Like how fucking dumb and
- 1:03:10moronic? Your boat, your boat, your carnival cruise has sailed three seasons
- 1:03:22ago. Like, first of all, who knows what's going on in Mandalorian?
- 1:03:25Like honestly, anything is going on, But also like nobody cares anymore,
- 1:03:30Like it's really that serious. First of all, And that's number one,
- 1:03:32No one cares? Number two, why do you care? When if
- 1:03:36you if apparently you've bothered to keep following along what's going on and you see
- 1:03:40that the story has nothing to do with your character anymore, and there's no
- 1:03:44room for your character anymore, that's number two. Number three, why would
- 1:03:47you want to insert yourself back in there? Knowing niggas don't like you,
- 1:03:52off Rip, I don't like you, I don't like what you said people
- 1:03:54niggas is not gonna you gonna You're going to face hell from the moment make
- 1:04:00your ass reappears on screen. Why would you want to be in the mix
- 1:04:02now? Why would you want to force your way back there? And first
- 1:04:06of all, you being recast doesn't necessarily mean the writers will treat you kindly.
- 1:04:11They could kill your character off every five minutes they wanted to. I
- 1:04:14mean, they could kill your off screen, and then you could be again.
- 1:04:17You can still be recast, or if you get recast, you get
- 1:04:21into one episode and you know, then she got hit in the air lock,
- 1:04:25died on the way to her home planet. Right, it's just your
- 1:04:30first thing she shows up, Commanda, off your right back. I got
- 1:04:33to run to my home planet. But it would be the Star Wars crawl
- 1:04:40whatever. What's her character's name? Character died of the keep going on another
- 1:04:49lot of I don't remember her characters name. I'm not even trying to be
- 1:04:53funny. I don't remember Cardoon. That's card dun card done whatever. Anyway,
- 1:05:03all of the nets. I've been watching Mister and Missus Smith on Amazon
- 1:05:09Prime, the new remake by Donald Plover and Maya Erstein. Yeah, I
- 1:05:16got the right. Was that because I'm not I have not been compelled to
- 1:05:19watch it whatsoever. It didn't draw me like I was a big fan of
- 1:05:23the movie the original not. I guess that's a remake, but I'm not
- 1:05:27sure. Let me, I'm talking about the woman Brad Pitt and Angelina.
- 1:05:31I don't know. I think that's original supposed to Be. That's they didn't
- 1:05:36do a remakeer for something. I always thought, you know that, but
- 1:05:41yeah, because of my age, I thought I was that was the first
- 1:05:44one, but I could be wrong. I don't know. I think that
- 1:05:46I'm looking on the wikipedter. I think that was the first one. That's
- 1:05:48interesting. I thought that was a remake too, But yeah, that's that
- 1:05:51was the first one. And uh, this was developed by Donald and Phoebe,
- 1:05:58the woman who create a flea Bag, and she was supposed to be
- 1:06:02Missus Smith. It was supposed to be the two of them, but she
- 1:06:05left for you know, due to creative differences. They've been talking about it
- 1:06:10a lot recently. They said it was like a divorce. They had,
- 1:06:13you know, different views on how the series it goes. So she left
- 1:06:15and then Maya came in to play Missus Smith, and I think Donald pretty
- 1:06:20much, you know, ran the room from then on because they were talking
- 1:06:24about this. I didn't know that she wrote all the Fleabag by herself.
- 1:06:26She didn't have a writer's room, so she just wrote that ship so so
- 1:06:30too. So they're two big a types. You know. That's hard,
- 1:06:34Yeah, very hard. That's just hard. So, so, how was
- 1:06:38it ben I said, I just have not feel compelled to watch it was
- 1:06:41nothing about it a drewnie. It's definitely the premise is different from the film,
- 1:06:45all right, that's the one thing they're not. They don't start off.
- 1:06:48It starts off with them both accepting a job from a mysterious corporation and
- 1:06:55the job is basically be a super spot. But they have they don't know
- 1:07:00each other, none of this stuff. They both you know, people,
- 1:07:02you don't get to know too much about them in the pilot, little themeed
- 1:07:05hints here and there. But they both apply for this job. They both
- 1:07:09get accepted, and they both get put into a house and are told,
- 1:07:12you know, this is your husband, this is your partner, this is
- 1:07:15your wife. Basically, get together and do this work. Start putting in
- 1:07:19some work. And they put in work from the beginning, and you know,
- 1:07:23the beginning, to make a path to never get involved in each other,
- 1:07:26never sleep it together. Of course, that shit goes out of the
- 1:07:28window after they blow some shit up. You know, drama brings people together,
- 1:07:31they fuck, you know, develop a relationship, and then the show
- 1:07:35moves on from there. Okay, I'm I think five episodes in right now
- 1:07:41of I think eight episode serie, I mean season. I'm enjoying it.
- 1:07:45It is a bit slow, but then once it picks up, it picks
- 1:07:49up. Certain episodes have been very solid, Like there was a pretty much
- 1:07:55every episode has had some type of guest star. So my man hell Boy
- 1:08:00has been in one episode. Ron Perman. Ron Perlman was an episode.
- 1:08:08There was another, uh oh, Poker or Not Poker Parker Posey showed up.
- 1:08:14I loved that episode with her. Uh, Paul Dano has been in
- 1:08:18it. John t Turo, the John episode. Yeah, the John to
- 1:08:23Tuo episode was a little something that that was that was pretty wild. It
- 1:08:27was. Yeah, so I've I've been enjoying it, you know, not
- 1:08:30like mind blowing good. It's definitely no Atlanta so far, at least,
- 1:08:35you know, it's just it's not some of the weirdness of Atlanta, okay,
- 1:08:42but much more Yeah, but much more straightforward, but just you know,
- 1:08:45a little bit of that quirkiness of Atlanta. It's quirky action, action
- 1:08:54lit the romance, the interestingly like Maya, I find their chemistry to be
- 1:09:01very good, you know, you know, there is chemistry. Yeah,
- 1:09:03they definitely have chemistry. I think I'm not sure if I would have liked
- 1:09:09uh, phoebe better than Maya. I'm not sure. You know, that's
- 1:09:15that debatable. You mean, just the way it looks they look together,
- 1:09:18Yeah, look together. You know, my personal attraction, et cetera.
- 1:09:23I don't know, but at times in this I find Maya very attractive and
- 1:09:27I feel their chemistry, So I get it. Okay, it's I'm not
- 1:09:31sure what's keeping it from being great in my opinion so far? You know,
- 1:09:38so far it's just good. Yeah, from a story perspective or yeah,
- 1:09:43I think overall it's just good. You know, I don't know.
- 1:09:45It's just not good? Is it? Because? Did you? Because I
- 1:09:49fully expected something along? I mean I shouldn't completely expect, right because this
- 1:09:53is twenty twenty four, but something along the lines of the film. But
- 1:09:57you're saying it takes it's a departure from has the very minimal basic premise,
- 1:10:01but then it goes off on its own. Yeah, but then it goes
- 1:10:03off on his own, but it's still got that feeling of the film.
- 1:10:05You know, a couple arguing and you know a couple doing this, you
- 1:10:09know, a couple of living together, Yeah, doing spots shit together.
- 1:10:13Yeah, so it's got all that in it. It's even kind of like
- 1:10:16what happens at the end of Mister and Missus Smith, because at the end
- 1:10:19of Mister and Smith's they're together doing spot ship, So this is like each
- 1:10:26other, right, but they before they didn't even know that the other,
- 1:10:29you know, either going with spies, you know, and then at the
- 1:10:31end they formed their own agency and then they're working. So this is more
- 1:10:34like that. So it hates that premise and it works with it. I
- 1:10:39don't know what's keeping the mean break so far. It's just oh yeah,
- 1:10:42dude, people are idiotic decisions, and Donald Lover's territory in particular just comes
- 1:10:46off like a fucking moron. Sometimes I'm like, what, like what the
- 1:10:50fuck? You know, just like ridiculously stupidly unbelievable, and that that's what's
- 1:10:55holding the back. Yeah, there we go. Took me a second to
- 1:10:58get to it, but yeah, there we go. Man, the fun
- 1:11:00good job fighting out Chris niggas an idiot, Like, yeah, you know,
- 1:11:04maybe I'll bite and watch one episode. I know clearly it starts.
- 1:11:09You said, it takes a while to get what episode what you say?
- 1:11:13You actually started getting into it three I think by two, I was like,
- 1:11:15Okay, I'm gonna keep watching it. Yeah, but three, it's
- 1:11:17like when I was like, oh okay, and then for that one,
- 1:11:21but Pearlman, that ship was here, okay, that's you was pretty little
- 1:11:26too. That was allowed. It was because Pearlman was there. No,
- 1:11:29he's no, he's great, but it's just lit. You know, it's
- 1:11:32just a great episode. Yeah, he's great, but he's like he's all
- 1:11:36three episode but he's just not like it's not him, it's just Pearlman's great,
- 1:11:43you know, but it's like he's not why the episode is great.
- 1:11:45It's the it's it's their relationship as it's building everything that's going on with them.
- 1:11:51But again, this motherfucker Donald. I mean, you know, mister
- 1:11:54Smith is a fucking moron to the point where I'm like it' it's it's straining
- 1:12:00believability. Yeah, because he's stretched an idiot. Yeah because, okay,
- 1:12:06no problem, it's making it difficult for me. This man is a fucking
- 1:12:10marrow. Ben. There, I noticed a trailer we want to watch.
- 1:12:14I also want to mention this wasn't really a trailer. This was just like
- 1:12:16a teaser. But surprisingly Mohana two was announced and it's dropping in twenty twenty
- 1:12:23four, and I'm like, where the fuck did that come from? Because
- 1:12:25I was not expecting that. Apparently they were developing, uh, this kind
- 1:12:30of sequel as a series a TV series, but Bob Iger was really impressed
- 1:12:33with the footage, so he ordered it to become a feature film. So
- 1:12:38like, I'm both excited and scared because I'm like, well, damn that
- 1:12:41level of fast track like I had. This was literally a surprise drop.
- 1:12:45So I'm just like, WHOA. I knew they were doing. I knew
- 1:12:48that they were yeah, but to go not to say that it's I don't
- 1:12:53know how easy of the leap it is to go from TV to I didn't
- 1:12:57know that because I thought there was always be Yeah, it was originally developed
- 1:13:00as a TV series, and I just said, oh, this looks fucking
- 1:13:02cool. Make it a film. And you know, Moana is huge,
- 1:13:06huge property man. Music was incredible, you know, acting was incredible.
- 1:13:10Everything about it is one of the better Disney movies. You know, fuck
- 1:13:14wish. Yeah, but you know, I'm just saying like it and so
- 1:13:18I'm a huge Morana fan. So I was just like I heard I was
- 1:13:20like, yo, that's what's up. But then when I saw how where
- 1:13:23it's coming from and the fact that it's dropping this year, I was just
- 1:13:25like, is it gonna have enough time to develop? Is it already developed?
- 1:13:29And they're just gonna move some shit around, like I don't understand.
- 1:13:31So I don't know if you have any thoughts on that. But not really
- 1:13:36other than that that, I'm not. I'm not hype, you know,
- 1:13:40like I love I loved it. I don't need another one. Yeah,
- 1:13:45I think the story was really nice the way, but it's Disney, right,
- 1:13:48They're gonna capitalize, I know, and then sometimes they hit it like
- 1:13:51I never thought I needed multiple toy stories, and you know I did,
- 1:13:55so you did each one better than the last, right generally generally speaking?
- 1:14:00Yeah, so you know so, but why not? I guess, you
- 1:14:04know. That's all I'm saying. It was, I guess, yeah.
- 1:14:09And then of course this this I was I was with the oh my godface.
- 1:14:13This morning, they dropped the first trailer for A Quiet Place Day one,
- 1:14:18starring our girl Lopita and Youngo. Also stars jaman Han Sue and Alex
- 1:14:25Wolf and some other people. Do we have that trailer? Bey? We
- 1:14:29do? But I think we're gonna strip watching. I remember, I remember
- 1:14:31it's something that you know, you're telling me do these trailer watches? Oh
- 1:14:34yeah, they cut us. Yeah, so we're gonna figure out. We're
- 1:14:38gonna figure out a way to get around. And I think we'll have to
- 1:14:40make like the trailer watch episodes exclusive and then cut the trailers up a little
- 1:14:44bit. So yeah, but did you watch the trailer a couple of times?
- 1:14:49I don't. I mean, you know, look it's Lupita, That's
- 1:14:53what I'm saying. But I didn't need more to this one. I did
- 1:14:57not need more than one quiet place and show. You know, the second
- 1:15:00one showed me. I did not need more than that person and I the
- 1:15:04second one wasn't there we go you said it. Let me be clear.
- 1:15:09The second one wasn't necessary, wasn't necessary. But I still enjoyed myself.
- 1:15:13I still thought it was a win in terms of direction. I still thought
- 1:15:16it was a win in terms of sound, sound engineering, and what do
- 1:15:20they call it? Like this just sound engineering? They but they they've done
- 1:15:25it already, Like that's what I'm saying. I didn't feel like I mean,
- 1:15:28but they leaned more into I guess from a technical perspective, I was
- 1:15:30really hyped for quite like Quiet Place one, like the story that shit went.
- 1:15:34Everything about it was, oh my god, this is incredible. Then
- 1:15:36two, I was more in tune with the technical perspectives of it, like
- 1:15:41all the technical reasons, work and creativity I went into it. That's what
- 1:15:45drew me the most into it. And then this is essentially the prequel,
- 1:15:48right like this, it takes place in I mean you'll see the trailer,
- 1:15:51but it takes place in New York because that's where all this aster movies fucking
- 1:15:56start and you know, the literally hell comes raining down in the form of
- 1:16:00these these monsters. And then you see what was like, you know,
- 1:16:02we always talked about that, like Quiet Place took place in the countryside or
- 1:16:05in the in the cut what happens when is I mean, you know,
- 1:16:09these niggas was ringing down on the biggest cities in the world, Like,
- 1:16:13so what did that look like? So just imagine all the crazy shit you
- 1:16:15know about the Quiet Place, but in New York and lupin Youngo and and
- 1:16:20John he was he was actually in the other Quiet Place movie, I'm not
- 1:16:25mistaken, the one that we just saw, White Place, too. I
- 1:16:30think he was in the previous quiet place. I forgot them. I forgot
- 1:16:32everything about the second one. I mean honestly, I like I liked them
- 1:16:35both, you know, like you said, the second one was entertaining.
- 1:16:39You know, I forgot anything happen in it. You know. Yeah,
- 1:16:43it wasn't better than the first, but it was absolutely entertaining. And I
- 1:16:46thought the first one. I've read the script and seen the film. I
- 1:16:48thought they were both great but also done. You know, it's like I
- 1:16:53needed one and no, I never needed an. You don't even care about
- 1:16:57how a shit started. Hell fuck, no, I know how it started.
- 1:17:00The niggas came and you know, the murdered niggas, and I mean,
- 1:17:03honestly, all this carnage. Yeah, and I'm good on that.
- 1:17:06It's just like, now, see what happens when you're in a big city
- 1:17:12and bridges that get blown up because like them, things are murderous. Like
- 1:17:17you know, it's like, there's no, it's not a fight else to
- 1:17:19it. Yeah, there's not a fight. They slaughter you. You know,
- 1:17:24there's nothing else to it. That's I mean, this feels also disingenuous.
- 1:17:28It just feels like, you know, a cash Brad because it is
- 1:17:31like, we know the Peters drumma survive when in all reality she should get
- 1:17:36murdered. She has a cat in the trailer, so I think it might
- 1:17:41survive. That cash making and the Peters don't make it. Both gonna make
- 1:17:46it, but John Main making it. He is cause like I said,
- 1:17:49I think he was in the last one and that's it. That's like two
- 1:17:54years later, so I remember that. Look, I want to see Lapta
- 1:17:59in some sexy ship. Let's be real. I'm tired of seeing her being
- 1:18:02stared running around, you know, like I need to see Lupita and I
- 1:18:05love, you know, like some hot ship or being you know, more
- 1:18:10of whoop ass Stupeter. I don't want to see you know, Lupita.
- 1:18:14You know I'm good. Oh you don't want to see struggling? Yeah,
- 1:18:16and I was, I'm right. I just confirmed Jamon wasn't part two.
- 1:18:19So maybe he wasn't part two. Maybe doesn't make it. Oh yeah,
- 1:18:27yeah, that's actually a possibility, and I'm definitely not there for that.
- 1:18:32You don't want to see you don't want to see her in the Truther.
- 1:18:34What's the last film Lapeta has been in besides this? One not terrible.
- 1:18:41I didn't even finish it. Though. She's in some movie where she plays
- 1:18:43like a teacher and this white dude was hitting on her and I was like,
- 1:18:46I turned that shit off. I'm not happy about that. I mean,
- 1:18:54beside, okay, Black Panther, yes, but besides that, right,
- 1:18:56and Black Fanther was twenty terrible agent is that or it's because she's been
- 1:19:01going through things personally and there's a strike. There's all that ship too,
- 1:19:05who knows and the strike. Right, there's a lot of stuff. You
- 1:19:09don't know what's going on. But I love That's what I'm saying, you
- 1:19:12know, not not her. Get it together, Hollywood, get it together,
- 1:19:15this fucking Lupta, like she should be in everything. By now,
- 1:19:17I'm still mad. I mean, this is besides the point, but I'm
- 1:19:20still so mad. In Star Wars she ended up being. When I say,
- 1:19:26it's that she should have been a fucking Jedi, or even or anything
- 1:19:31else that wasn't an alien, a Jedi, as sid something anything showed me
- 1:19:38that beautiful woman, anything so that real out here? Yeah, I mean
- 1:19:44even but when he played the alien and Star Trek at the end, he
- 1:19:47turned back into DRIs Elbow no straight up bro, and throws a beacon to
- 1:20:00becafle and older than throws, and throws
