- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hey my friend, welcome to the Daily Writer, where we help writers become authors of their own lives.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Today I'm doing something a little different here on the podcast, and I'm interrupting my typical podcast rhythm to ask you for a tiny but very important favor.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: And it's this can you send me a question related to writing, ghostwriting, books, publishing, or creativity?
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: And here's why I'm asking.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: As you probably know, I love answering reader and listener questions.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: It really helps me to know what you need, and as a result, that in turn helps you because I can serve you better.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Let me give you a few prompts to help you think of a question to send me.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Number one, where do you feel stuck or frustrated in your writing, business, or creative life?
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Number two, what processes or practices related to writing or publishing do you need help with?
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Number three, what questions do you have about ghostwriting?
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: For example, how does it work?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Why would somebody want to write for other people?
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Or how do you make a living by being a ghostwriter?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Number four, is there an area of your life where you want to make progress but you're not sure how to get there?
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Now, that question does have a little bit of a caveat because obviously with these questions, I'm going to stick to my areas of expertise.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: So please don't send me any questions about sports, auto mechanics, or gardening.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: And number five, what have you been afraid to ask somebody about writing or publishing or books or creativity or related areas where you believe I can help you?
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And the reason I say that is because if you have a question, somebody else probably has the same question as well.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So those are just a few ideas to get your brain going in the right direction and thinking of a question or two to send me.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Now, hopefully it's really clear that I'm not showing up in this daily podcast just to run my mouth.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: I very much want this to be helpful to you.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: This is all about serving you and showing up in a way that's actually helpful to you on a tangible level.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Now, also, I want to mention before I wrap up this episode that you're welcome to send me more than one question.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And I promise that I'll do my best to answer it in an upcoming email or podcast.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Now you're probably wondering, hey Kent, how do I send you a question?
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Because I can't just magically push a button here in my podcast app and you know send a question to you through Cyberspace.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: But the easiest way to do that is by shooting me an email at Kent at KentSanders.net.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Again, that is Kent at KentSanders.net.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hear from you generally, and I thank you in advance for your help.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: As always, thank you so much for listening.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Keep writing, keep showing up, and I'll see you tomorrow.
