- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi guys.
- 0:02Speaker 2: This is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by my friend
- 0:05Speaker 2: Emily Simpson for our new spin off show Popping Off,
- 0:08Speaker 2: where we are digging deep on this season of Banner
- 0:12Speaker 2: Pump Rules. So here we are back another episode of
- 0:16Speaker 2: Popping Off with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Emily Simpson, and we are recapping episode two of the Valley.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Or no, no, it's episode three. It's you know what?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Wake up, Emily.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I know, I'm sorry, Episode three of the Valley. This
- 0:32Speaker 1: is why you don't get to do intros. I will
- 0:35Speaker 1: shut up from now on. I will just sit here.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I want you to sit there in front of your
- 0:42Speaker 1: natural blue background. Why sit in front of my fancy
- 0:47Speaker 1: pink one. It's really a lot.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I feel like I'm really coming around to the Valley,
- 0:58Speaker 2: Like I really like it.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I like the Valley. There's a lot going on. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: feel like it's really good. I feel like.
- 1:09Speaker 2: We get to see everybody's crazy, but it's like a
- 1:13Speaker 2: natural crazy.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Like I don't think anybody's crazy is not.
- 1:18Speaker 2: A scripted crazy, not even scripted, but like this is
- 1:22Speaker 2: just them being who they are, and yeah, they can't
- 1:26Speaker 2: even help themselves. Like there's nothing even performative at this point.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I feel like we could we could fit right in,
- 1:33Speaker 1: Like we should just buy houses right near them and
- 1:35Speaker 1: just kind of wiggle our way in. I live kind
- 1:38Speaker 1: of near them.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I don't. I mean, I mean, I need.
- 1:43Speaker 1: To start showing up at Farmers Marcus with your kids
- 1:46Speaker 1: and stuff and to see what happens.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I mean, I could, like, I feel, I just don't.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Who would I come in as like good friends with that?
- 1:57Speaker 2: That's going to be the problem even if I'm do
- 2:00Speaker 2: you have Brittany?
- 2:01Speaker 1: I feel like I love Brittany, but I don't know.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I feel Brittany. You like fair food.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Listen, I like.
- 2:10Speaker 1: What's it called. What's the cheeseballs called cheeseballs?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Cheese?
- 2:15Speaker 1: No, Mama's cheese beer cheese.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Beer cheese.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Is beer cheese. Similar to Queso because I love Queso.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I thought Queso is just cheese cheese. Is Queso is
- 2:29Speaker 1: cheese in Spanish?
- 2:30Speaker 2: No, but like Queso, dip is like you get velveta
- 2:34Speaker 2: and then you put in rotel and then you put
- 2:36Speaker 2: it in the microwave and it's a little heavenly treat.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And I feel like, yeah, but I don't know if
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's just called queso because that's like calling like jaso
- 2:47Speaker 1: dip soda.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's like oh Mama's beer cheese. It's a similar I
- 2:56Speaker 2: guess according to Google, it's a similar consistency, but the
- 3:03Speaker 2: cheese in this instance is made with beer. I would
- 3:07Speaker 2: be open to trying it. I need to like beer.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I like apple cider beer. I'm not like a logger drinker,
- 3:16Speaker 2: but I could have like I think I could have
- 3:19Speaker 2: a beer, Like if I'm at a sushi restaurant, I
- 3:22Speaker 2: like to have soake and a beer.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Okay, that's it, Well, you know, okay, Okay, Emily, I
- 3:33Speaker 1: think we should take a field trip to Jackson's. I
- 3:35Speaker 1: think we should just show up instead at the bar.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Would you rather go to Jax's or what are the shorts?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Is? Shorts and Sandy's.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I'd rather go to Jacks's. Yeah, I mean too, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: that's closer to my house. I find Jax to be
- 3:49Speaker 1: thoroughly entertaining. Who would you rather be married to Jack's
- 3:52Speaker 1: or Jesse? Oh may, I would rather be married to Jacks.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I'd take him all day long for that guy. They're
- 4:02Speaker 1: both so bad. They're both so bad.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I mean, both options are just terrible. I mean even
- 4:09Speaker 2: going back to like Jesse doing this to the face,
- 4:13Speaker 2: But either way, it starts out Brittany Jackson Sherry. They're
- 4:17Speaker 2: at the Farmer's market again. I don't even remember this,
- 4:19Speaker 2: but Brittany and Jacks go over everything that happened at
- 4:22Speaker 2: their Girls' night slash guys Night. Kristen told the entire
- 4:26Speaker 2: group that Janet accused Michelle of being racist and a Republican.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I would like a word with production as to why
- 4:37Speaker 2: we're getting this fight told in flashbacks, like what I
- 4:41Speaker 2: want to see it in real time? Why is this flashbacks?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I got confused about that too.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I thought maybe I.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Missed something and I try to rewind it. I was like,
- 4:50Speaker 1: did I just miss the whole fight? And now they're
- 4:52Speaker 1: flashing back? And then I realized that that's how they're
- 4:54Speaker 1: showing this fight is just in flashbacks.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I think they're I mean they're saying. Zach said on
- 5:02Speaker 2: Nick's podcast that there will be a ton of flashbacks
- 5:05Speaker 2: this season. So my guess is these flashbacks are happening
- 5:09Speaker 2: because either there had to be a lot of editing
- 5:12Speaker 2: to not get somebody canceled.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Probably we're throwing around a lot of accusations, a lot
- 5:21Speaker 1: of political stuff, a lot of heavy things.
- 5:24Speaker 2: With people that have actually been canceled already. So, like, I,
- 5:27Speaker 2: did you get canceled twice?
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm sure I could figure out a way to get
- 5:32Speaker 1: canceled again. But if you got canceled once and then
- 5:35Speaker 1: they let you come back, do you get canceled again?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Or is there a different word for it?
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think then you're just done, You're just dead, You're bare,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but you're deleted, deleted. I like deleted, But this part
- 5:48Speaker 1: was a little bit interesting to me. At Jesse and
- 5:50Speaker 1: Michelle's house, Michelle decides to FaceTime Janet and ask about
- 5:54Speaker 1: the whole thing. Janet denies it, and she's pissed that
- 5:57Speaker 1: Kristin would say something like that. Janet thinks the stems
- 6:00Speaker 1: from her putting up a boundary with Kristin a year ago.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Kristin likely doesn't want Alex to tell the guys, especially Luke,
- 6:08Speaker 1: about his side of the breakup either. Kristen isn't the
- 6:11Speaker 1: saint she's painting herself out to be. It seemed like
- 6:13Speaker 1: a reach for me. I like Janet, I don't believe
- 6:18Speaker 1: Janet in this circle. I don't believe Janet either. I
- 6:22Speaker 1: was so frustrated by this whole argument the whole time
- 6:25Speaker 1: because clearly the source of that he said she said
- 6:30Speaker 1: bullshit was Janet. Yet no one's asking Janet or talking
- 6:34Speaker 1: to Janet.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Also, when the flashback shows Janet at the fight and
- 6:39Speaker 2: like they're.
- 6:39Speaker 1: All talking and I know, I'm like, Janet is eating
- 6:46Speaker 1: this up.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And then Kristen's like trying. You can tell Kristen's in
- 6:49Speaker 2: a panic state. She's like, I can't go after the
- 6:52Speaker 2: pregnant girl. So she's like, I'm not going to do
- 6:55Speaker 2: this with you right now, Janet. And Janet's like, I
- 6:57Speaker 2: haven't even said up my nursery yet.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I think, a shit, this is good work.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm not going back to being an assistant because I
- 7:06Speaker 2: just caused all this shit on this show and thank
- 7:09Speaker 2: me later.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And yes, but not only does she cause all the
- 7:12Speaker 1: shit on the show now a single person is questioning her.
- 7:16Speaker 1: No one, They're all I don't know.
- 7:19Speaker 2: But also at this point, like Zach, I wish Zach
- 7:23Speaker 2: would have just been like, yeah, we were all talking shit,
- 7:25Speaker 2: we were all saying this.
- 7:27Speaker 1: But the part that was interesting to me was that.
- 7:30Speaker 2: This was the first time that Jesse and Michelle were
- 7:35Speaker 2: able to laugh together in over three years and were
- 7:38Speaker 2: attracted to one another.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Were they well, he was attracted to her. I don't
- 7:42Speaker 1: know if it was a.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Mutual Well, she said, this is the first time I've
- 7:46Speaker 2: laughed with him in over three years. Yeah, I'm like,
- 7:49Speaker 2: but it was because she felt, in my opinion, it
- 7:52Speaker 2: was because she felt he was complimenting her, not as
- 7:56Speaker 2: a means to like have sex with her at that,
- 7:58Speaker 2: like I think she thinks.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And he was talking about how she stood up for
- 8:02Speaker 1: herself at the party and like the chair fell over,
- 8:05Speaker 1: like that was a big turn on, and they were like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: it really was the happiest they ever seen. Well, clearly
- 8:11Speaker 1: she just needs to be more aggressive. He likes cheers
- 8:14Speaker 1: thrown and like yelling. Well, what about when.
- 8:17Speaker 2: He said when we first met, she was in a
- 8:20Speaker 2: trench coat naked, and then I poured hot wax on her.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And then her response in her confessional about how the
- 8:29Speaker 2: situation she goes. I turned down our first date and
- 8:31Speaker 2: the only reason that I hooked up with him again
- 8:36Speaker 2: was because I thought it was going to be a
- 8:37Speaker 2: booty call at the end of a girl's Now, but
- 8:38Speaker 2: now he's a booty call that's lasted blah blah blah
- 8:41Speaker 2: years and I was like, yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well he said, she said something to the effective He's
- 8:46Speaker 1: the kind of guy I'd never want to be with
- 8:47Speaker 1: and I knew that, so I called him just for
- 8:50Speaker 1: a booty call and it's been the longest booty call of.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Like my life.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm like, you married this guy knowing that he was
- 8:58Speaker 1: not someone that you would want to spend the rest
- 8:59Speaker 1: of your life with nor appropriate with.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I mean, I can say that I married my booty call,
- 9:06Speaker 2: and I'm grateful I did. Are you talking about Edwin? Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 2: we were each other's booty call for quite some time, so, like,
- 9:15Speaker 2: I do think there's room for that, But it takes work.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Once you get past being each other's booty call.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You can't solely raise a family and kids and have
- 9:26Speaker 2: businesses and work together and do all these things off
- 9:29Speaker 2: just having good sex. It ain't gonna last. No, because
- 9:33Speaker 2: they don't have sex, especially now, they haven't had sex
- 9:36Speaker 2: since they had is it Isabelle?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, what is your take on them having adult conversation
- 9:42Speaker 1: and passing in front of her?
- 9:45Speaker 2: Well, I would be lying if I never said a
- 9:48Speaker 2: curse word, like I've been in the car before and
- 9:51Speaker 2: somebody's like cut me off, and I've been like shit, yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 2: but I don't have adult conversations about like disputes in
- 10:00Speaker 2: front of my kids. Have I accidentally cursed? Yes, I
- 10:03Speaker 2: would be lying if I was like, oh, no, I've
- 10:05Speaker 2: never it's never clipped out of my mouth. And death
- 10:08Speaker 2: Dove has never repeated anything after me.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But I'm not talking drama and in front of children, yeah, exactly.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Like I'm not going to be like so and so
- 10:18Speaker 2: called me a racist and then we were fighting and this,
- 10:22Speaker 2: and I haven't been sexually attracted to you in three years,
- 10:25Speaker 2: Like I'm not saying those things in front of my kid, right,
- 10:31Speaker 2: But I don't know. During all of this, I'm like,
- 10:34Speaker 2: what did we actually sign up for? And how did
- 10:36Speaker 2: you find somebody that's a bigger mess than Jack's? And
- 10:39Speaker 2: how are they friends? Yeah?
- 10:42Speaker 1: They used some model together or something in New York? Right,
- 10:45Speaker 1: isn't that how they knew each other? Didn't they share
- 10:47Speaker 1: an apartment in New York or something? That's what they said.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I don't know, but Chris, still, I don't know.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I need more.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I need more flashbacks of that time to really I
- 10:58Speaker 1: need some modeling photos from that time period, if someone
- 11:01Speaker 1: could throw those into the episode too.
- 11:03Speaker 2: And I also need to know, is this modeling like
- 11:05Speaker 2: these are brnent like you're seeing it in a magazine,
- 11:08Speaker 2: or is this like you're the person standing outside of
- 11:11Speaker 2: Abercrombie passing out pamphlets asking people to come in.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Or you're the person standing outside a Matter's store with
- 11:18Speaker 1: a fifty percent offline spinning it.
- 11:25Speaker 2: But it feels like both Michelle and Janet's reaction to
- 11:30Speaker 2: you said that I'm a racist and a Republican. They
- 11:35Speaker 2: both look like they've had this conversation multiple times and
- 11:40Speaker 2: they're not willing to have it on camera. Am I
- 11:43Speaker 2: wrong on thinking that? Well?
- 11:45Speaker 1: No, I agree. I feel like there's a lot of
- 11:47Speaker 1: things that were said, and a lot of people said things,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and I think everybody's being so careful about what they're
- 11:52Speaker 1: saying that it doesn't make sense and it's making Kristin
- 11:56Speaker 1: look And I feel badly for Kristen because I think
- 12:00Speaker 1: her only guilt is the fact that she repeated something,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but no one else is fessing up, and no one
- 12:07Speaker 1: else wants to, you know, wants to fess up to anything,
- 12:10Speaker 1: so she just keeps taking hits from everybody, and then
- 12:13Speaker 1: she can't and then she can't even really defend herself.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But like Luke is coming in strong trying to defend her.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He is, But did you see it as confessional? He
- 12:23Speaker 1: has like those round red circles on his cheeks, Like
- 12:25Speaker 1: it looks like like someone put a little bit of
- 12:28Speaker 1: rouge right here. Do you notice that? He could say,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I didn't even notice that.
- 12:34Speaker 2: But do you think that they're going to make it
- 12:36Speaker 2: those two? No?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Absolutely not. I mean they want to have a child together.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And the conversation revolves around how he will never live
- 12:47Speaker 1: in La and how she will never leave La.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like that's how is that going to work? Well,
- 12:54Speaker 2: then we get to Nia getting ready to leave for
- 12:57Speaker 2: twenty four hours to do a brand dealing, Danny alone
- 13:00Speaker 2: with all the kids. I feel like Nia and Danny
- 13:04Speaker 2: are the strings that hold this like shit show together,
- 13:10Speaker 2: but yet they're not necessarily We're not getting much other
- 13:16Speaker 2: than relatability to them, right, Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Well it's because I mean it's Beaker saying I like Danny.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I think he's very logical. I think he kind of
- 13:26Speaker 1: takes the middle road and just he makes comments that
- 13:30Speaker 1: makes sense, Like he makes sense to me. Nia, I
- 13:33Speaker 1: think she took a left turn somewhere and ended up
- 13:35Speaker 1: in a reality show, and she doesn't know what happened
- 13:39Speaker 1: or where that wrong turn was, but she'd like to
- 13:41Speaker 1: go back and maybe rethink that work in the road,
- 13:46Speaker 1: maybe go right.
- 13:48Speaker 2: She actually, I think might be that kind of person
- 13:51Speaker 2: that never watched any of the shows prior to signing
- 13:54Speaker 2: up and then is like shit, yeah, like I thought
- 13:57Speaker 2: I could really get through this. Then we get Jack's
- 14:01Speaker 2: at his new bar interviewing potential employees with the three
- 14:04Speaker 2: business partners.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I actually enjoyed him trying not to look at the
- 14:08Speaker 1: girls boobs. I mean, the only thing Jackson is invested.
- 14:12Speaker 2: In is.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He likes you could like see him like not me.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He's like, I'm not gonna look down, not going to
- 14:22Speaker 1: look down.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Then Brittany and Kristen meet for coffee, and Brittany uses
- 14:34Speaker 2: it's the opportunity to bring up girls night. Brittany says
- 14:37Speaker 2: Janet is really upset with Kristin of all people, Kristen
- 14:40Speaker 2: is upset the blame is being put on her and
- 14:43Speaker 2: she was the only one there. I feel like the
- 14:48Speaker 2: story is it's it is it's taking too long to
- 14:52Speaker 2: get to and I feel like Zach may have all
- 14:54Speaker 2: the secrets hidden under his hair, like one of the trolls.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Listen up, if we just parted a little bit like this,
- 15:05Speaker 1: we would see it like, well, no, what actually happened?
- 15:12Speaker 2: How'd you feel about the life slash marriage coach at
- 15:15Speaker 2: Michelle and Jesse's house.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I thought you got right to the point. He's like,
- 15:21Speaker 1: y'all are done. Yeah, He's like, so tell me the
- 15:24Speaker 1: last time that you were attracted to him? Never?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Okay. She's like, I'm not interested in answering that question.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I was like, this is not looking. It's not good.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Almost is. It's like gonna be how Janet's kid arrives
- 15:37Speaker 2: and there's no nursery, not even one thing set up.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It looks like the baby nursery looks like arian his bedroom.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So like.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Going well, but Janet shows him Kristen's Instagram story about
- 15:55Speaker 2: feeling disrespected. She doesn't understand how CHRISTI can feel that way.
- 15:59Speaker 2: When she's thrown everyone under the bus. I feel like
- 16:03Speaker 2: Janet's the bus driver. I feel like Janet is the
- 16:07Speaker 2: bus driver. But I do think no matter who is
- 16:09Speaker 2: wrong or right in any situation, A vague passive aggressive
- 16:15Speaker 2: social media story.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It is never the answer. No, it's not, because then
- 16:20Speaker 1: you can people can interpret that in any way they
- 16:22Speaker 1: see fit to fill their own narrative, and you're just
- 16:25Speaker 1: gonna get yourself in trouble.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Like either say exactly what it is that you
- 16:30Speaker 2: want to say or say nothing.
- 16:31Speaker 1: See, I'm not one of those vague Instagram story kind
- 16:34Speaker 1: of people, are you.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I think I'm pretty direct, Like I'm like, no, this, uh,
- 16:39Speaker 2: this person pissed me off, or I'll repost something that
- 16:41Speaker 2: bothered me. But I don't know. I'd have to ask
- 16:45Speaker 2: other people. But I'm pretty sure I'm quite direct with
- 16:48Speaker 2: being an asshole me too, Like.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I don't beat around the bush. I don't put I
- 16:53Speaker 1: don't post like quotes like you know, so everybody can
- 16:56Speaker 1: be like, what's wrong, what happened?
- 16:58Speaker 2: I'll never post I can't say this. I don't post
- 17:02Speaker 2: quotes in hopes that people are going like every morning
- 17:06Speaker 2: I post a quote, but it has nothing. They're set
- 17:08Speaker 2: like months in advance. It has nothing to do with
- 17:10Speaker 2: my general mindset that day I've got.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You're posting quotes with no meaning for your followers. That's
- 17:17Speaker 1: that's really what I do. It's who I am.
- 17:20Speaker 2: But then Michelle and Jesse are planning out their Capri
- 17:22Speaker 2: themed dinner party that we hosted at an eighteen point
- 17:25Speaker 2: five million dollar home. They're listing.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Is it Capri or Capri?
- 17:32Speaker 2: I've always said Capri, but I think it's Capri Capri Capri.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Is that a sophisticated way to say it? Because it's
- 17:40Speaker 1: a sophisticated party. Yeah, it's very sophisticated, very sophisticated. That's
- 17:45Speaker 1: why we say Capri Capri. I've never been to Capri Capri.
- 17:50Speaker 1: If you're from Ohio and you're not sophisticated, you say Capri.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Have you got to Capri? And then how are you
- 17:57Speaker 2: going to go to Pasitano? But everyone arrives at this
- 18:02Speaker 2: pre Capri capriy themed dinner party and luc is hoping
- 18:07Speaker 2: for peace. It's not happening, Luke, There's never going to
- 18:11Speaker 2: be peace, Luke, Hello, come on. Kristen apologizes to Michelle
- 18:16Speaker 2: and ask to speak with her later. Michelle doesn't seem
- 18:18Speaker 2: interested at the moment. Now that Michelle's speaking, I like
- 18:22Speaker 2: her a lot more. I do too.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I didn't know that she had a voice for the
- 18:26Speaker 1: first what is it the first couple episodes, but now
- 18:29Speaker 1: she does good for her Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I thought she was like Ariel when Ursula stole her
- 18:34Speaker 2: little voice, thing like, but then all of a sudden
- 18:37Speaker 2: she hadn't. I like it. I'm interested in what she
- 18:39Speaker 2: has to say. I think the reason she wasn't talking
- 18:42Speaker 2: is because whatever she has to say is going to
- 18:44Speaker 2: be that she hates her husband.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so she just chows to take the fifth in
- 18:50Speaker 1: life in general, She's afraid if someone says, how is
- 18:56Speaker 1: your day going, instead of being like great, she'll be
- 18:58Speaker 1: like I hate him, So she just says nothing.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Janet wasn't at the girls' night, so she doesn't know
- 19:04Speaker 2: exactly what happened. I mean, there's a lot of stuff,
- 19:09Speaker 2: but I think the thing that is lingering on is
- 19:14Speaker 2: that they're completely ignoring the initial accusation that Michelle said,
- 19:19Speaker 2: don't say gay was protecting the children, And I'm confused
- 19:23Speaker 2: why this isn't the.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Crux of the conversation. That's what I didn't understand either,
- 19:27Speaker 1: because I feel like that's where it all started, but
- 19:29Speaker 1: no one went back to that, so.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I have a hard time understanding exactly what was said
- 19:37Speaker 1: and the timeline and who said what all I know
- 19:40Speaker 1: is Kristen's getting beat up at all she did was
- 19:43Speaker 1: repeat something.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And also I'm not saying Michelle is anything that she's
- 19:48Speaker 2: being accused of. She's dealt with her own shit. I mean,
- 19:52Speaker 2: she married Jessee, she went for it. Yeah, and she's
- 19:58Speaker 2: getting her punishment, whether whether or not it happened.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Her life is a daily punishment. But I do think
- 20:06Speaker 1: that Jesse did his homework.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Because bringing up the reason that Kristin was fired from
- 20:15Speaker 2: reality TV, Yeah, I was like he knew what he
- 20:21Speaker 2: was doing. Yeah he did.
- 20:23Speaker 1: He was like, Jacks move over, Yeah, hold by Persecco,
- 20:34Speaker 1: what is the jacket?
- 20:35Speaker 2: Hold my Picasso jacket? Yeah?
- 20:38Speaker 1: And my apall spars.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Lease.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm about to put this up.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Kristin. It was nice knowing you, but I'm going to
- 20:49Speaker 2: end this situation, even though I'm the biggest douche lord
- 20:52Speaker 2: on television. Apparently. Either way, then it ends on it
- 20:56Speaker 2: to be continued and we get into The Valley Season one,
- 20:59Speaker 2: episode four. All right, now we are back to talk
- 21:11Speaker 2: about episode four of the Valley. We're back at Michelle
- 21:15Speaker 2: and Jesse's party. Kristen tries to tell Michelle that she
- 21:18Speaker 2: protects her, but everyone makes fun of that statement, which
- 21:22Speaker 2: we know now by seeing the trailer, Kristen knows something
- 21:27Speaker 2: that she hasn't shared yet, which is clearly what she's
- 21:30Speaker 2: alluding to. But I have to say, judging by Zach's
- 21:36Speaker 2: pikachuw face, he may be guilty of.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Sturing the pot heiku chew?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Is that what you said? I also wonder how Jax
- 21:54Speaker 2: is the one who attempts to be the voice of
- 21:55Speaker 2: reason on this show.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Well, I also want to know how during this dinner
- 22:00Speaker 1: party that how is Jack's not involved in all of
- 22:04Speaker 1: this drama, Like there is a dinner party with just
- 22:08Speaker 1: things being hurled everywhere back and forth, and none of
- 22:12Speaker 1: it had to do with Jacks or anything he said
- 22:14Speaker 1: or did.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Because I think that Jacks may not always make the
- 22:19Speaker 2: right choices clearly, but I think he knows that he
- 22:23Speaker 2: was also canceled once and he's not.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Like, I'm not even He's like, I'm not saying shit.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I am not saying shit on this. I'm gonna let
- 22:34Speaker 3: my boy Jesse do the dirty work.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yep, I am out of.
- 22:38Speaker 2: It, Like I just.
- 22:41Speaker 1: He's like, if anyone needs depants, I'm here. I am
- 22:44Speaker 1: that guy, but I'm not getting involved in this.
- 22:46Speaker 2: If anyone wants to talk about not wanting to have
- 22:48Speaker 2: sex with their wife, I'll chime in.
- 22:51Speaker 1: But that's really where I stand here.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Then we but also like the transition from like this
- 22:58Speaker 2: kind of drama to then them being with their kids.
- 23:00Speaker 2: It's also hard for me to like process like I'm like,
- 23:04Speaker 2: I'm like Joe trying to process stuff, like I'm like,
- 23:07Speaker 2: what is happening? Because then we were with Cruise a
- 23:10Speaker 2: speech therapist. Yeah, which like kind of that every parent
- 23:15Speaker 2: can relate to that.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I know, I I that stuff like that makes me
- 23:19Speaker 1: sad because I know, as a parent, if your child
- 23:22Speaker 1: isn't developing as quickly or they're a little different, or
- 23:25Speaker 1: you know, I have twin boys, so I get it.
- 23:28Speaker 1: One is like really great at math, the other one isn't.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I worry about the one that isn't. So I totally understand.
- 23:34Speaker 2: And you can't help, but like there is always going
- 23:37Speaker 2: to be that portion of like comparison, and especially I
- 23:42Speaker 2: would say for your first child, you're even.
- 23:44Speaker 1: More aware of hyper aware.
- 23:47Speaker 2: You're hyper aware, Yeah, like you're hyper aware to anything
- 23:51Speaker 2: because it's your first.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Then the third one comes along and you're I'm like,
- 23:58Speaker 1: whatever does i'd still it's the bed and have some
- 24:01Speaker 1: her She kisses for dinner.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Fine, Oh you don't want dinner, you want a food
- 24:05Speaker 2: by the foot, Go for it. Eat ten.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Take him to bed with you. You should keep him
- 24:10Speaker 1: in your room. Oh you want to?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Oh you want to bring your iPad to your room
- 24:14Speaker 2: to watch it all night? No problem, don't care. I'll
- 24:18Speaker 2: still be in at seven point thirty to wake you
- 24:19Speaker 2: up for school.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You know what, brushing your teeth is option at all.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Listen, you brush your teeth in the morning, so you're good. Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Then Kristin once again texting Michelle saying her secrets are safe.
- 24:32Speaker 1: What does that mean? I mean, have you ever texted
- 24:37Speaker 1: someone and said your secrets are safe with me? And
- 24:40Speaker 1: then Michelle reads it?
- 24:42Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 1: If I actually had a secret, I wouldn't share the
- 24:46Speaker 1: text message.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I just don't understand the whole secret safe with me thing.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I think Michelle read it because she clearly knows that
- 24:54Speaker 2: her her secret is not safe with Kristin. Well, clearly not.
- 24:59Speaker 2: But this but that's not the secret. The secret is
- 25:01Speaker 2: still coming. Right, But we've we we as viewers already
- 25:06Speaker 2: know the secret and that's that she hates her husband,
- 25:10Speaker 2: that she's a Republican.
- 25:13Speaker 1: She's a I is the president.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I hate Jesse club.
- 25:17Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, I mean she.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Just hates him. She hates his gut gut, not just
- 25:25Speaker 2: his one gut, his one gut. Yeah, but they kind
- 25:30Speaker 2: of It's this episode, I feel like, is just more
- 25:33Speaker 2: of the same thing over and over. More.
- 25:36Speaker 1: It's more of the same conversation going round and around
- 25:39Speaker 1: that we don't know exactly who said what, but clearly
- 25:43Speaker 1: we'll get to a finale with this conversation at some point.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like we're going to get through it
- 25:49Speaker 2: and we're going to ruin a marriage soon, so then
- 25:51Speaker 2: we're going to have wrapped right through whatever Janet did
- 25:55Speaker 2: in this game of telephone, which Nia told us, guys,
- 25:58Speaker 2: this is a game of telephone.
- 26:00Speaker 1: No shit, Nia, Welcome to reality TV.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Nia.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm not sure where you've been the last four episodes,
- 26:08Speaker 1: but this is what reality TV is built on. But also.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Getting back to the kids stuff, because they all go
- 26:18Speaker 2: that now they're taking the kids to the fair. There's
- 26:21Speaker 2: a lot of fair content here. There is a lot
- 26:24Speaker 2: of I was like, are there are always as many fairs?
- 26:26Speaker 2: I actually like the guys taking the kids to the fairer.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I like that.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I even like how they film it and slow o,
- 26:31Speaker 1: like they're like walking through the fair with their sunglasses on,
- 26:34Speaker 1: like pushing their strollers. Yeah, it would be cool.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Felt like a scene from the Hangover. But they actually
- 26:40Speaker 2: have real kids with them, right? But is there something
- 26:46Speaker 2: that biologically interferes with a man's ability to put a
- 26:50Speaker 2: car seat into a car? Kristin and Luke are on
- 26:53Speaker 2: a day conveniently at a place next to Sir. Kristin
- 26:57Speaker 2: thinks her friends feel threatened that she is a hot
- 27:01Speaker 2: thirty two year old boyfriend with a big penis and
- 27:04Speaker 2: a Hi labino.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And Rosie red cheeks. That's how I would describe Luke Colorado.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I like that she's into her boyfriend. That's great, that's
- 27:13Speaker 2: great news because it could be the father for children.
- 27:17Speaker 2: But what I am confused about is when Brittany and
- 27:21Speaker 2: Danny are at Kristen and Luke's apartment setting up a
- 27:23Speaker 2: romantic night for the two of them. I thought it
- 27:25Speaker 2: was going to be a proposal. What's happening in there? Well,
- 27:28Speaker 2: I really I don't know if I knawed off or
- 27:31Speaker 2: what happened, But like, it's.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Just a massage table in roses. But why, I don't know.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Is luc a massage therapist?
- 27:41Speaker 2: No, I don't know.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I couldn't grasp why this was happening. And then and
- 27:49Speaker 1: then I don't know. Something happened with the dog, Jill,
- 27:51Speaker 1: like the big German shepherd. I think she ate some
- 27:53Speaker 1: of the roses, and then shit everywhere is the way.
- 27:55Speaker 2: That's why?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Then well that's why. Then Luke couldn't come to the party.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Because he was cleaning up dog shit. Yeah, they Kristen said,
- 28:03Speaker 2: it's because the dog has diarrhea, and I'm like, probably
- 28:05Speaker 2: because he ate the like massage.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Oil or or all the candles or the massage table
- 28:13Speaker 1: like that.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Who needs a massage table if no, Like, bring in
- 28:17Speaker 2: a sex chair if you want, But why are you
- 28:19Speaker 2: bringing in a massage table if you're not a massage therapist.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I don't get. I cannot understand. I think it was
- 28:25Speaker 2: solely a reason to show that other people were making
- 28:28Speaker 2: an effort that Brittany had to participate in. When Jacks
- 28:32Speaker 2: refuses to make an effort with Brittany, that's my guest.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And he stares at other people's boobs and openly talks
- 28:37Speaker 1: about how he's not trying to his wife. When do
- 28:40Speaker 1: you do you think? I don't know, I don't I
- 28:43Speaker 1: think when do we think the last time.
- 28:47Speaker 2: That Jack's made Britney feel special or sexy or.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I don't know, I have no idea. It's been a
- 28:58Speaker 1: long time.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Then they're in the gala, Michelle walks in, I've
- 29:06Speaker 2: never I don't know that I've seen a hotter female
- 29:08Speaker 2: on reality television anytime recently.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And Jesse looks a hot, freaking mess. He looks like
- 29:16Speaker 1: a jockey.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Now, a jockey would be a step up, like it
- 29:21Speaker 2: would make it. I don't even understand. And then he's
- 29:25Speaker 2: like he looks at all the other guys and he's like,
- 29:27Speaker 2: this is a real coat, but also dinner jacket. This
- 29:31Speaker 2: is a real dinner jacket. But I didn't really understand
- 29:34Speaker 2: what Danny was talking about either. When he was like,
- 29:36Speaker 2: I don't want to overshadow everybody with my look, I'm like,
- 29:39Speaker 2: you're wearing a black suit.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Was he being facetious?
- 29:45Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think it's because he chose
- 29:47Speaker 2: to wear a tie.
- 29:50Speaker 1: But where does one get a jacket like that?
- 29:53Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe we should ask Ryan from Orange County,
- 29:58Speaker 2: because I feel like he would have worn it.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Well, I don't know, because I feel like Jesse's jacket
- 30:03Speaker 1: he was expensive. Yeah, So even though it was not
- 30:08Speaker 1: a great look and he reminded me of a jockey,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I still figure it was something bougie and expensive.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I do think it was an expensive coat. Even
- 30:17Speaker 2: though it was a mistake, it was expensive.
- 30:19Speaker 1: It was an expensive mistake.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It was like their marriage. Then Michelle tells the story.
- 30:26Speaker 2: We kind of already got through this booty call stuff,
- 30:30Speaker 2: but we get into another conversation where they all decide
- 30:33Speaker 2: to walk outside. Kristin and Michelle and Jesse and Zach.
- 30:38Speaker 2: They have a conversation, conversation. Luke's not there because he's
- 30:41Speaker 2: cleaning up dog shit. I think Kristin may have been
- 30:44Speaker 2: too drunk to have this conversation at this point in time.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't really understand. Well, first of all, I
- 30:49Speaker 1: didn't understand why Jesse got so heated and had to
- 30:52Speaker 1: go back inside and just you know, bang around inside
- 30:55Speaker 1: by himself.
- 30:55Speaker 2: He he just went into like, tell production, I need
- 30:58Speaker 2: another skinny mark or approll sprits or whatever it is
- 31:01Speaker 2: that he wanted.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and he just kind of huffs and puffs around
- 31:04Speaker 1: and then he comes back.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Out and then they finish it up and then it's
- 31:10Speaker 2: coming up on the valley. Michelle tells everyone she doesn't
- 31:14Speaker 2: poop in front of Jesse, and Nia realizes she may
- 31:17Speaker 2: have high functioning postpartum depression, which if I mean, at
- 31:23Speaker 2: this point, I can't even imagine what she's going through
- 31:25Speaker 2: with so many little kids filming and reality television like that's.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Twins is a whole nother game. And then she's, yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I've been in that position. Annabelle was two twenty four
- 31:38Speaker 1: months old too when I had twins, so I had
- 31:41Speaker 1: three that were two and under, so I don't even
- 31:43Speaker 1: remember that time period. It was a blur, That's what
- 31:46Speaker 1: I was going to say, Like.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I I can't really even imagine. And also I want
- 31:53Speaker 2: you to think about where your life was at that
- 31:55Speaker 2: point in time, Like were you living in like an
- 31:58Speaker 2: apartment and like hustling, Like.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I was living in this big, large house I have
- 32:03Speaker 1: right now, and I wasn't working, but I was not
- 32:08Speaker 1: filming a TV show, So I know what it's like
- 32:11Speaker 1: to film a TV show.
- 32:12Speaker 2: So if you add the.
- 32:13Speaker 1: TV show that, I know what that's like. To newborn
- 32:17Speaker 1: twins plus a two year old. I don't know how
- 32:21Speaker 1: she does it, and I think that's why she's not
- 32:23Speaker 1: She's not like a main character. She just doesn't have
- 32:26Speaker 1: the energy for it. She doesn't have main character energy
- 32:29Speaker 1: because she's trying to survive, and I think she will.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I think once she gets through like this.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I think having a babysitter come for your like small
- 32:39Speaker 2: little children while you go to film and fight feels
- 32:41Speaker 2: very different than like.
- 32:43Speaker 1: When they're toddlers. Then you feel much more comfortable straight. Yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 1: I mean my children are older now, so I'm fine
- 32:49Speaker 1: with it. Yeah, they're fine. They can understand these kind
- 32:52Speaker 1: of conversations.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But I do need to know. Do you poop in
- 32:57Speaker 2: front of Shane? No?
- 32:58Speaker 1: Never, And that's not because of me, that's because of Shane.
- 33:03Speaker 1: He is like he likes a division between anything that
- 33:06Speaker 1: has to do with the bathroom. He doesn't even like
- 33:07Speaker 1: it when I pee with the door open, he gets
- 33:09Speaker 1: really upset and he comes up and he shuts the door.
- 33:12Speaker 2: But do you have two toilets in your bathroom or
- 33:16Speaker 2: do you go to a different one?
- 33:19Speaker 1: No, So we have a large main bathroom in the
- 33:22Speaker 1: primary bedroom. And like he has his sink over here
- 33:25Speaker 1: and mine's over here.
- 33:26Speaker 2: But then there's one.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Toilet, but it's in closed, like it's in its own room.
- 33:31Speaker 1: It's not just like in the bedroom.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Does ultimately poop on the same toilet that your husband's does?
- 33:37Speaker 1: It does, but he just doesn't want to know about it.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Hear it, see it, smell it like nothing ever.
- 33:44Speaker 2: See now I kind of wonder about me and I
- 33:46Speaker 2: don't we talk about it.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I don't know, do you think it enhances your relationship
- 33:52Speaker 1: or it's detrimental it doesn't.
- 33:56Speaker 2: We kind of like we kind of just I'll be
- 33:58Speaker 2: like want either one of us will be like it's
- 34:03Speaker 2: not going to be a great morning, I didn't get
- 34:04Speaker 2: to go, or you know, like it's just a part
- 34:06Speaker 2: of our life. But I've always talked about poop.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Always like how detailed are you? Like, man, that was
- 34:12Speaker 1: a big one. You should have seen that one.
- 34:14Speaker 2: No, No, Like Dove will be like, mom, did you
- 34:17Speaker 2: see it was a banana size? And I'm like, Dove,
- 34:20Speaker 2: that's too much information. But like ever in my entire family,
- 34:24Speaker 2: like my sister or my brothers, that whole portion of
- 34:27Speaker 2: my family will be like are we going to I
- 34:31Speaker 2: gotta go do my favorite thing.
- 34:33Speaker 1: And that's just like Commo's keyword.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I did a tough Munner run this weekend, and guys,
- 34:41Speaker 2: up until the day I did it, I thought about
- 34:43Speaker 2: backing out, but you know why I didn't accountability because
- 34:48Speaker 2: I had others from my all in by Teddy community
- 34:50Speaker 2: pushing me, supporting me, and ultimately completing the race with me.

- 35:33Speaker 2: Season one, episode two, recap and three. I had to
- 35:38Speaker 2: get Matt and George to send me pictures of everybody
- 35:43Speaker 2: so that I can remember everyone's name.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Oh so you have like que cards, I don't. I'm
- 35:50Speaker 1: just gonna I'll just do the best I can Oh,
- 35:53Speaker 1: I'm just gonna I'm just gonna wing it.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Because I didn't do this first episode pod with you.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I need to know who you think is likable from
- 36:02Speaker 2: this show. Who do I think is well, it depends
- 36:05Speaker 2: on which episode we're at now. Just in general, this
- 36:08Speaker 2: is a blanket statement.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Well, there's only a few that I actually like stick
- 36:12Speaker 1: out in my mind so far. I mean, I like
- 36:17Speaker 1: Telly a lot. I think she's very likable even when
- 36:20Speaker 1: she's crazy, because she brings it back down and she's reasonable.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And what's the one, the blonde Hannah? I like Hannah.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Hannah's a lot. She's very extra, but I like her.
- 36:32Speaker 1: And I like Priscilla. She's Brazilian.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I like her.
- 36:36Speaker 1: She's like the one with the spread eagle one.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Well, they have their little like queue cards
- 36:42Speaker 2: and this is what they say. Hannah says, serves the seduction,
- 36:46Speaker 2: Marciano says, delivers the drama.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Eric, who just saw his police report.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Manages the chaos. Kelly shakes up trouble, Andre wars on
- 37:01Speaker 2: the charm. Grace airs the dirty laundry. I want to
- 37:07Speaker 2: know how Grace and Emily. Grace and Emily are.
- 37:11Speaker 1: The housekeepers and Grace is the youngest one, right, and
- 37:13Speaker 1: her dad's a pastor.
- 37:15Speaker 2: And then she cries about the makeup. Yeah yeah, Priscilla
- 37:19Speaker 2: dishes the dirt. Gabriella, who I like, I think she's likable,
- 37:25Speaker 2: gets the party started. Anthony the chef, who I was
- 37:33Speaker 2: sure was like my age, and then they panned up
- 37:35Speaker 2: his age and he was very young.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I was like twenty five.
- 37:40Speaker 2: He turns up the heat and then Caroline stirs the pot,
- 37:44Speaker 2: and then Steven spices up the swore as that's a swore,
- 37:49Speaker 2: a sore as.
- 37:51Speaker 1: That's another sophisticated word. It's above you know, it's I mean,
- 37:56Speaker 1: I don't know, it's another way to say party.
- 37:58Speaker 2: I don't even know that we need to fully break
- 38:02Speaker 2: down all of these episodes because there's two first question,
- 38:10Speaker 2: do you like it? I do like it.
- 38:14Speaker 1: It's still like the Valley better Yeah, I don't know,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Like I feel like it's just the Saint. It's going
- 38:19Speaker 1: to be the same formula every time, but maybe not.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I don't know. I know, I wonder until other people
- 38:25Speaker 2: start hooking up other than Marciano and Hannah, I wonder
- 38:29Speaker 2: how we're going to move forward, Like just being concerned
- 38:33Speaker 2: on which girls cross their legs and which they don't.
- 38:36Speaker 2: I have to say, I do not think that.
- 38:40Speaker 1: As a Priscilla. I don't think her legs were spread eagle.
- 38:45Speaker 1: They weren't as she her knees were open, but I
- 38:48Speaker 1: felt like hers were crossed, but her knees were open.
- 38:51Speaker 1: But I feel like the camera, did you see the
- 38:53Speaker 1: camera like they were making sure that they were showing
- 38:55Speaker 1: Marciana like looking down.
- 38:58Speaker 2: But I don't even know, Like I don't know, but
- 39:01Speaker 2: I mean even at the dinner where when Telly pushed Marciano,
- 39:05Speaker 2: Gabrielle goes into like calm them down, and it's all
- 39:09Speaker 2: about the guests having this nice dinner. It's a lot
- 39:13Speaker 2: of like chaos about movement when ultimately it's three locations.
- 39:18Speaker 2: You're either on the lawn, you're at the bar, or
- 39:22Speaker 2: you're on the gravel. Like it's not brain surgery here.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure you're going to be in one of
- 39:29Speaker 2: those three spots.
- 39:30Speaker 1: And how many times has Lisa said don't drink and
- 39:35Speaker 1: they just all drink?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Well, they all, but also do they not realize they're
- 39:40Speaker 2: being recorded? I really Oh there's the ballroom too, sorry
- 39:44Speaker 2: the ballroom.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, there's another location. There are four.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Which group of couples have you I mean, which group
- 39:51Speaker 2: to enter the villa? Do you like the most? As
- 39:55Speaker 2: in the guests?
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well I don't know the first couple that did
- 39:59Speaker 1: this price proposal. I don't really feel like you got
- 40:02Speaker 1: to know them very well. That's the thing I feel like.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Well, also, I recognized one of the guys who's done
- 40:08Speaker 2: my hair before, which gave me some many flags, Like
- 40:10Speaker 2: I was like, how how organic is this show? Because
- 40:15Speaker 2: you used to be Laura Righetti's assistant and now you're
- 40:19Speaker 2: the guest to Vanderfump Villa.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Oh was he one of the guests that was with
- 40:23Speaker 1: the couple that was getting engaged? Yesh? Was he her
- 40:27Speaker 1: hair guy? I don't know.
- 40:29Speaker 2: I texted Laura and I said, I don't know if
- 40:32Speaker 2: I'm losing my mind or not, but like, is your
- 40:35Speaker 2: old assistant on Vanner Pump Villain. She's like, I haven't
- 40:37Speaker 2: watched it yet.
- 40:38Speaker 1: But yes, But I was like, looks lack sound.
- 40:44Speaker 2: But he didn't say.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Any words, but I was like, it's all fun. Note
- 40:50Speaker 1: when in the next episode where Harlan gets her hair
- 40:54Speaker 1: done for her Butterfly ball and Patrick's doing her hair,
- 40:59Speaker 1: that's who did Gina's hair makeup for our first reunion
- 41:03Speaker 1: Season thirteen of Real Housewives of Orange County. That was
- 41:06Speaker 1: not the air that she got the heat about that
- 41:09Speaker 1: Hobly was, Oh shit, hold on is this Patrick that
- 41:13Speaker 1: did that? Does Lisa's hair well?
- 41:16Speaker 2: He always uses a bumpet. I love him, but I've
- 41:19Speaker 2: seen that bumpet so many times. He plugs it right
- 41:23Speaker 2: in and ya. I'm like, no, no, I do they
- 41:29Speaker 2: go on these outings. They wear matching outfits. Each day
- 41:34Speaker 2: is a new matching outfit. If I wore that purple
- 41:36Speaker 2: tight like her shirt, the boy that I would be
- 41:39Speaker 2: pitting out would be unbelievable.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I like the little cute dresses, though I do too.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I mean waitressy dresses. Those are fun.
- 41:47Speaker 2: I think that that I mean, I think there's parts
- 41:49Speaker 2: that are really fun. Marciano trying to become Jack's Taylor
- 41:58Speaker 2: is not sitting well with me.
- 42:00Speaker 1: You think he's trying too hard, Like you think he's
- 42:02Speaker 1: just acting like he's not being himself. He's just trying
- 42:05Speaker 1: to be the number one guy in the group. I
- 42:07Speaker 1: think he's trying to be the number one guy in
- 42:09Speaker 1: the group.
- 42:10Speaker 2: If he's not.
- 42:11Speaker 1: And Hannah is really in love with that guy.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I really want to have a conversation with Hannah and
- 42:18Speaker 2: be like, please explain it to me, like he is
- 42:22Speaker 2: the worst.
- 42:23Speaker 1: But now, but then she has proven that she is
- 42:25Speaker 1: also the worst, so maybe it makes sense. It could
- 42:29Speaker 1: make sense.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I want to know. I do love how Lisa like
- 42:33Speaker 2: pops in and then she's like, you know what, I'm
- 42:36Speaker 2: so busy running my other businesses. I have to come
- 42:39Speaker 2: and go. So it's why I have to leave Eric
- 42:42Speaker 2: thunder thunder Underpants.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Eric Thunderpants will be in charge.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Well, I think between Eric Thunderpants, who really has no
- 42:57Speaker 2: style with planning or doing anything, and Marciano wanting to
- 43:05Speaker 2: be Jack's but missing insight and even a sense of humor,
- 43:10Speaker 2: it doesn't bode well for him.
- 43:12Speaker 1: No, well, here's my question about Eric Thunderpants. The entire episode,
- 43:17Speaker 1: this last episode, all he talks about is how he
- 43:19Speaker 1: has to do everyone's job. But what is it that
- 43:22Speaker 1: he's doing that is actually everyone's job? Other than complaining
- 43:26Speaker 1: that he's doing everyone's job? But do you think I
- 43:29Speaker 1: mean agreed? But also do you think he's talking to
- 43:32Speaker 1: himself or he's talking to production. I don't know who
- 43:35Speaker 1: he's talking to, but he says it multiple times.
- 43:39Speaker 2: And also, do you think that Priscilla regrets that episode
- 43:41Speaker 2: one she wanted to make out with him in the pool.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I definitely think so. She was, like I called that
- 43:48Speaker 1: one wrong about Night one.
- 43:52Speaker 2: First impressions can be very wrong, exactly, Lisa, you know,
- 44:00Speaker 2: having the conversations with Kelly and trying to really invest
- 44:05Speaker 2: in the relationships, Like I do like some of it,
- 44:08Speaker 2: but I also am like, I'm trying to remember the
- 44:12Speaker 2: last trip that I went on where I hung out
- 44:16Speaker 2: with like, where all all the people working at the
- 44:20Speaker 2: house or the event or whatever it may be, hung
- 44:22Speaker 2: out with the guest the entire time. It just doesn't happen.
- 44:26Speaker 1: No, it doesn't happen. But I this is the part
- 44:29Speaker 1: I don't understand is that the formula of this show.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Every time there's new guests that check in, there's like
- 44:35Speaker 1: four guests, and then the staff hangs out with them
- 44:37Speaker 1: the whole time.
- 44:39Speaker 2: And then I think there's gonna be makeouts with the
- 44:41Speaker 2: guests as my guest, because there's not enough of them
- 44:45Speaker 2: that seem that they could be interesting. I mean, I
- 44:47Speaker 2: feel like the pastor's daughter is going to have a
- 44:49Speaker 2: little bit of an issue because something's gonna happen. Then
- 44:52Speaker 2: there's the other girl that's currently the housekeeper that wants
- 44:56Speaker 2: to take Telly's job, So we're going to deal with that.
- 44:59Speaker 2: There's to be some hierarchy type things, right, But I
- 45:06Speaker 2: don't really know what else we're going to get. I mean,
- 45:08Speaker 2: the only current relationship. I mean, I didn't personally care
- 45:12Speaker 2: that the chef burnt her croissant because she forgot about it.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and I didn't understand why Marciano got so mad
- 45:19Speaker 1: about it and refused to help her take the croissant
- 45:21Speaker 1: out of the oven. Like.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Also, it wasn't like she didn't have the recipe to
- 45:27Speaker 2: make something. She just forgot something was in the upstairs
- 45:31Speaker 2: staff oven.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Right, But I did think it was very mature that
- 45:36Speaker 1: he put it in her bed. But also, why is
- 45:39Speaker 1: he so offended by that.
- 45:42Speaker 2: The amount of times that I've burnt popcorn and everyone
- 45:45Speaker 2: in my house just has to deal with me forgetting
- 45:47Speaker 2: about it.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Oh, I guess it's because we don't know that because
- 45:52Speaker 1: we all know you're not a chef.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Oh okay, So, but if I was a chef, if
- 45:56Speaker 2: I accidentally forgot something and made a mistake with something
- 46:00Speaker 2: like heating up a croissant or popping popcorn, you'd be offended.
- 46:06Speaker 1: No, yeah, not at all me neither. I might put
- 46:10Speaker 1: it in your bed, though, I would do that. I mean,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be honest.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Do you think that at the end of this season
- 46:18Speaker 2: we're gonna see Hannah and Marciano together or shit's gonna
- 46:23Speaker 2: get really bad?
- 46:24Speaker 1: Well, if we see them together, the question is how
- 46:27Speaker 1: long will it last before he screws somebody else?
- 46:30Speaker 2: Well, we already know and like scenes to come that
- 46:33Speaker 2: he's gonna hook up with a guest. Oh yeah, absolutely,
- 46:38Speaker 2: And why is he the only one that's gonna hook
- 46:40Speaker 2: up with a guest?
- 46:41Speaker 1: What do you think is gonna happen with Andre? Because
- 46:43Speaker 1: he's really nice? I think he's so sweet he deserves
- 46:47Speaker 1: some nice girl like.
- 46:49Speaker 2: But he already said Priscilla is not his type. And
- 46:52Speaker 2: then the other chick, the pastor's daughter, she's into him too.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I feel like there's gonna be some.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I actually I actually cried a little bit when Andre
- 47:02Speaker 1: talked about how he didn't have parents. I actually got
- 47:05Speaker 1: a little teary eyed. I think I missed that part.
- 47:09Speaker 1: What does that say about us? I didn't miss it.
- 47:12Speaker 2: I cried.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I know now I'm trying to remember when he went
- 47:17Speaker 1: in Lisa's office because they filled out the guest card yes, yes, yes,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and the guest said they liked Tally and Andre, and
- 47:25Speaker 1: then Tally left and she and he started crying, and
- 47:29Speaker 1: she's like, why are you so upset? And He's like,
- 47:31Speaker 1: because I don't really have like parents to share that with.
- 47:34Speaker 2: And I felt I felt I felt that, yeah, and
- 47:37Speaker 2: he said like I was.
- 47:40Speaker 1: I always want like the approval of others.
- 47:42Speaker 2: In the fact that I was chosen as the first pick, yes,
- 47:47Speaker 2: I did feel emotional about that, but I didn't necessarily
- 47:53Speaker 2: feel emotional about the fact that the relationships on Vanner Frump,
- 47:57Speaker 2: Villa Mate, the Valley relationship seem aspirational.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Well, there's really no relationships so far other than Marciano
- 48:11Speaker 1: and Hannah, So that's the basis for relationships on this show. Yeah.
- 48:18Speaker 2: I mean at the end of the third episode that
- 48:24Speaker 2: we're recapping, Eric is talking to himself again. I wonder
- 48:30Speaker 2: if he's you know, we've talked about it to production,
- 48:34Speaker 2: or is he drinking or is he batshit crazy. I
- 48:38Speaker 2: also want to know, like how this casting process works,
- 48:42Speaker 2: because you have to remember they're all going to like
- 48:44Speaker 2: a remote look, not a remote location, but they're all
- 48:47Speaker 2: going to a location they're not in their setting of
- 48:50Speaker 2: where they live.
- 48:51Speaker 1: So is this just it seems like there was a
- 48:53Speaker 1: casting call in.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Vegas, right, That's what I was saying. But is Eric
- 48:58Speaker 2: Thunderpants from Vegas?
- 49:02Speaker 1: He's like from Missouri or something.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I don't know. But the drama between Eric and Steven
- 49:10Speaker 2: don't care, don't don't We can keep talking about it.
- 49:15Speaker 2: I'm not worried about it, to be honest, I don't
- 49:18Speaker 2: care if the table's on the gravel, the patio, the ballroom,
- 49:23Speaker 2: none of that shit matters to me. But I also
- 49:25Speaker 2: don't like plan parties. You do that well, I don't
- 49:29Speaker 2: so like for me, I'm like.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't see. I don't understand. Why do
- 49:37Speaker 1: you feel like Eric as a house as a manager,
- 49:40Speaker 1: the chateau manager. I feel like the best way to
- 49:42Speaker 1: get respect from your employees is by earning respect, and
- 49:45Speaker 1: I don't think he acts like that. I think he
- 49:47Speaker 1: demands respect, which makes everyone repelled by him.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I think he's like trying to pretend that he's Matthew
- 49:55Speaker 2: McConaughey and he's not.
- 49:58Speaker 1: I also wonder if if there is a memo or
- 50:02Speaker 1: something went around that said that they could only button
- 50:04Speaker 1: their shirts up two but not three. Yeah, it's three
- 50:09Speaker 1: buttons up way too much. No, like you have to
- 50:12Speaker 1: see the man cleavage in order.
- 50:14Speaker 2: To work at Vanner from Villa.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I feel like that was probably the only criteria. Please
- 50:19Speaker 1: put this shirt on and only button the first two buttons. Okay,
- 50:23Speaker 1: you're hired.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I also want to know why everybody on this cast
- 50:29Speaker 2: has an aversion to drinking from a glass. Like they're
- 50:32Speaker 2: all drinking from a bottle all the time, whether it's
- 50:35Speaker 2: wine booze, like they're just pouring it into their mouth.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Even the episode one where Priscilla and Thunderpants are like,
- 50:44Speaker 2: you know, having their swim, they're drinking wine from the bottle,
- 50:48Speaker 2: and then the other ones are drinking like the other,
- 50:51Speaker 2: like the bartenders and everybody else. They're taking shots from
- 50:54Speaker 2: the bottle and like, are we.
- 50:57Speaker 1: What's wrong with cups? I guess because they're not to
- 51:00Speaker 1: be doing it. So if you actually pour in a cup,
- 51:02Speaker 1: that takes longer and.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Then there's a trusted Yeah, I guess that's a good idea.
- 51:08Speaker 2: We'll decide if we're going to keep watching Vanner Pump
- 51:11Speaker 2: Villa so far. I'm I liked it more before I
- 51:15Speaker 2: heard from others how much they disliked it, because I
- 51:18Speaker 2: just am fair weather like that.
- 51:19Speaker 1: You're just easily persuaded.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't help but like that.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, So should we continue to recap it or
- 51:26Speaker 1: should we just stick to the Valley and making fun
- 51:28Speaker 1: of Jesse?
- 51:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the Valley and Vanner Pump rules. Do
- 51:31Speaker 2: we stick with that or do we do we need
- 51:34Speaker 2: to delve in to Vanner pump Villa further, That is
- 51:39Speaker 2: the question. Let us know. Thanks you guys, Thank you
