Proud but Fuzzy on the Founding | US News
Despite most Americans not knowing the exact date or event behind the nation’s 250th anniversary, a new survey reveals a surprisingly strong sense of national pride and belief in foundational values. Eighty-six percent feel grateful to be American, and seventy-nine percent say they’re proud — even if they’re fuzzy on the details. Most still see the Constitution as vital to freedom and prosperity, and believe the founding ideals remain relevant.
