This year’s “Teach Them Young/Learn to Swim” program is exploding in popularity, with over 3,000 young people from ages six to eighteen signing up across Regions Two, Five, Six, and Ten. Nearly 200 kids in Essequibo have already learned to swim, while over 400 more are diving into lessons at Albion Pool in Berbice and Watooka Pool in Linden.
