- 0:02Vests. Making void the word of God by
- 0:06your tradition that you have handed down.
- 0:09And many such things you do thus making void the word of God by
- 0:18your tradition that you have handed down and many such things
- 0:22you do. These are the words of the Lord
- 0:26Jesus Christ found in Mark, chapter 7 verse 13 and they were
- 0:30directed to the spiritual leaders of his day, who
- 0:34questioned him about his disregard for man-made.
- 0:39Addition that dominated his culture back then.
- 0:45And that stinging statement that was made by Jesus Christ.
- 0:48Still has resounded in relevance to our spiritual climate today.
- 0:54Because as you know, there are many customs and there are many
- 0:57rituals that are being honored and handed down in the name of
- 1:01God. And as a result are directing
- 1:05people away from the liberating truths that are found in God's
- 1:09revelation and we have been lingering here in Chapter 7 for
- 1:15some time for the sole purpose of addressing.
- 1:19Some of those prevailing Traditions that we are familiar
- 1:23with in Christendom familiar with my baby, not acquainted
- 1:26with maybe not knowledgeable in and we want to address some of
- 1:31these things in the spirit of Christ.
- 1:34Now, I know that for some, this may seem like an unnecessary or
- 1:38an uncharitable approach, but understand that even the Lord
- 1:42hear you, you have read. With me through this chapter
- 1:45many times, he addressed specific areas from different
- 1:49systems of belief sometimes by name and the apostles followed
- 1:54and those who would occupy the the office of a Preacher.
- 2:00Are required from time to time to also follow the example of
- 2:04Christ. It's not an easy thing.
- 2:06It's not a comfortable thing, but it is a necessary thing.
- 2:10You know, I was reading in the book of Lamentations and my
- 2:13personal reading. And I came across a verse that
- 2:16ministered to me in this area, and I prayed that it would
- 2:18encourage you. So I quoted Mark chapter 7, but
- 2:20if you have your Bibles with you, turn with me to limitations
- 2:23right after Jeremiah Lamentations chapter 2, and look
- 2:26with me at verse 14 for a moment.
- 2:30Limitations to 14. Jeremiah is speaking here.
- 2:40And he says, After the fact after the fact that judgment has
- 2:45come to Judah limitations to 14, your prophets have seen for you,
- 2:50false and deceptive Visions. They have not exposed your
- 2:57iniquity to restore your fortunes, but I've seen for you
- 3:01oracle's that are false and misleading They have not exposed
- 3:09your iniquity to restore your fortunes.
- 3:12Now, depending on your translation, if you have a good
- 3:14solid faithful translation, some would say to turn away, thy
- 3:18captivity, or to turn to bring back your captives or to restore
- 3:23you from captivity, whatever translation you hold.
- 3:26The principle is still the same. The Holy Spirit through the lips
- 3:29of Jeremiah makes a connection between uncovering or
- 3:34undisclosed, engaging, making known the sins of the people and
- 3:39then being liberated from captivity.
- 3:42The Captivity in this context is literal, right?
- 3:44They literally went into captivity but it was the fruit
- 3:47of a spiritual captivity. And so God puts blame on those
- 3:53who are self appointed representatives, in Jeremiah's
- 3:56day, those who are self acclaimed prophets, and they
- 3:59refuse to address the errors of the people of that time.
- 4:04And in refusing to expose the errors, they kept the people
- 4:08bound. They kept the people in
- 4:11darkness, they kept the people in falsehood and that ultimately
- 4:15let to led to their own discipline and their own
- 4:18chastisement. Aunt.
- 4:20And so, what's the, what's the point here, here's the point
- 4:24that if there are things in Christendom, right, that are
- 4:29deterring people hindering people from coming to saving
- 4:32faith Then surely there is some sort of responsibility,
- 4:37especially for those who are leaders in the True Church of
- 4:39Jesus Christ to say something about it, to address it to
- 4:42confront it. And if there's any confusion
- 4:46about what the goal of these messages are, please don't be
- 4:49confused any further. We want to see people set free.
- 4:53We want to see people liberated, we want to see people be
- 4:56restored to their fortunes restored to the true blessings
- 4:59that are in Christ that are only available when the truth is
- 5:03Faithfully presented. And when that same truth is
- 5:06responded to, with repentant faith, So, this is the heart
- 5:11posture behind what have, what has been presented and what will
- 5:15continue to be presented? Now, with that being said, I
- 5:20know that last week you were here.
- 5:23Some of you were here at least and you heard some discussion,
- 5:27some insight concerning the doctrines, the false doctrines
- 5:30pertaining to marry and we did so by examining namely what the
- 5:35Roman Catholic Church teaches about her.
- 5:37And I have to say, we received great encouragement from Last
- 5:40Sunday and one of the common responses from people here and
- 5:46Beyond is I didn't know that. I just I understood that there
- 5:50was differences but I didn't know the depth of the
- 5:53distinctives, I didn't know that this is what people believed and
- 5:58that's what we're trying to do to make people aware of these
- 6:01differences for the sake of Restoring and reaching out to
- 6:06others. Now with the great encouragement
- 6:09with some testimonies, as you can imagine, there's a little
- 6:12bit of pushback, right, and not from here.
- 6:15Thank God, maybe in your heart, I don't know.
- 6:17But Mainly from people who watch Us online who visit our channel
- 6:22from time to time, I guess and there were some Egyptian
- 6:24objections and I'm not going to take the time to address every
- 6:27single one of those objections. But I think I want to make
- 6:30mention of one thing because it will only confirm the main point
- 6:34of all of this. The central idea, the driving
- 6:38desire of what's being communicated here.
- 6:42There is truth in this that some of the reformers Martin Luther
- 6:47Wright, John Calvin, and zwingli and other prominent fingers.
- 6:51I John Wesley. Also affirmed.
- 6:55And hold to the Perpetual virginity of Mary They did
- 7:00believe that and and Colts were provided in response to what was
- 7:03presented yesterday of how they did hold firm to that view of
- 7:07her. Now, I understand why that was
- 7:10brought forward. But here's the thing that I want
- 7:12to say, regardless of the intention regardless of what's,
- 7:16what was trying to be done in presenting these men and what
- 7:19they believe to us I think that attempt missed the whole point
- 7:26of the message. Because you see whether it's
- 7:30Luther or whether it's Calvin. Whether it's Wesley, regardless
- 7:35of who the person is, we don't look to the authority of man, we
- 7:38look to the authority of the Bible.
- 7:41That's the point that's why we're doing what we're doing,
- 7:45whether it is a pope or it is a reformer, whatever.
- 7:48Any man claims as being Revelation from God, must
- 7:52subject himself and every single one of those statements must be
- 7:56subject to the evaluation the Station or the condemnation of
- 8:00what God has written, that's the truth and I think even some
- 8:04evangelicals have to be careful here because I hear some
- 8:07evangelicals quote. These guys as though they were
- 8:09authoritative What does the Bible say?
- 8:13What does God's word say? What does God's word say through
- 8:16the men that he has placed his hand on for a special purpose of
- 8:20revealing Divine truth? That's the goal here, that's
- 8:24what we're saying. And so this is an evangelicals
- 8:27and Protestants versus Catholics in Eastern Orthodox in the
- 8:29world. This is about claiming what the
- 8:33word of God has to say about itself and then calling people
- 8:36to observe the truth of the scripture as supreme authority.
- 8:39That's the point. So let there be no confusion
- 8:42here again, this is not the denominationalism here.
- 8:45This is not camps. Here, this is the Bible, the
- 8:48word of God that has been preserved and kept by Sovereign,
- 8:52will has been granted to us to know what he desires from us.
- 8:57All right, there's a lot of things I can say, but I won't
- 8:59because this will turn into Mary ology part 2 and we don't have
- 9:03time for that. My desire here is to communicate
- 9:07something else. I want to take the time to
- 9:09examine yet. Another instance sense of what
- 9:11can occur when scripture alone is no longer regarded as
- 9:16absolutely authoritative, when it doesn't have the final say
- 9:21last week, you heard some disturbing things and this week,
- 9:24we're going to look at how some traditions have misinterpreted.
- 9:29The meaning and the practice of the Lord's Supper.
- 9:32Again, for the sake of making this a digestible session.
- 9:36I'm not going to exhaustively teach on this.
- 9:38Nor am I going to pull from what?
- 9:40Every single ancient and traditional Church believes
- 9:43about this. What I'm going to do is stay
- 9:44consistent with what we did last week and that's pulled from the
- 9:48Roman Catholic teaching, and then bring that before your
- 9:51attention. And hopefully, you'll be stirred
- 9:53enough to look deeper and then to look at what other people
- 9:58believe in other traditions and other institutions, hold to
- 10:01concerning this subject. Because the spectrum is quite
- 10:04wide. And over the years, it became
- 10:08apparent to me that some professing Christians, do
- 10:11different things. And and with that, they can
- 10:14find, he's regularly participating in different
- 10:17settings. That offer the bread and the
- 10:18cup. And among those people, you have
- 10:21some who do things like, attend the Roman Catholic church in the
- 10:25morning and then go to a faithful Evangelical Church and
- 10:28that same day and and partake of the mass while also partaking of
- 10:34the communion that's presented in a Evangelical expression.
- 10:38And it doesn't seem to bother them and it doesn't seem to work
- 10:40them. And it doesn't seem to encourage
- 10:42them to think a little bit deeper about if there are
- 10:44differences here. Now, listen, I'm fully aware
- 10:47that some of you might be thinking brother, why again?
- 10:50I said this last week. Why is this really important?
- 10:52Why are you making such a big deal of this?
- 10:54There's enough in our Bible to discover, why are we going this
- 10:57way? And I understand, right?
- 11:00And I understand that some would even say leave people alone I
- 11:04mean can we just not excused them and excuse, what they're
- 11:07doing as simple devotion to the Lord that they want to express
- 11:11in different kind of ways. Why do we have to nitpick this?
- 11:14Why do we have to point these things out?
- 11:16Is it really important? To, which I would respond.
- 11:21Listen, it's not about what's important to you and me.
- 11:25Here's the question isn't important to God.
- 11:28Is it important to the head of the church?
- 11:34It's not enough to say we worship.
- 11:37It's not enough to excuse any kind of practice or engagement
- 11:40as worship. God wants us to know how to
- 11:44worship. Not just if we worship.
- 11:47Okay, more than that. We understand.
- 11:48What do we believe about our spiritual disciplines?
- 11:51What do we believe about our expressions of devotion and
- 11:54adoration? And with that, we have to
- 11:58understand what do we understand to be this massive, Monumental
- 12:04ordinance that Christ has established for his people for
- 12:07all generations until his very return.
- 12:10What truths that we ascribe to that?
- 12:13What is it? That were actually doing when
- 12:15once a month you come forward here and you you engage in this
- 12:19corporate Act of Thanksgiving and recognition.
- 12:24And I hope you have a grasp of that.
- 12:26I hope you yourself are aware of why it is.
- 12:28You do what you do and if you don't then hopefully you'll know
- 12:32it now, you know, that we do this in remembrance of him, we
- 12:36know that we do this in, proclaiming the Lord's death
- 12:38until he comes. But what others believe?
- 12:42What others believe about the table, what others believe about
- 12:45the supper, what other people believe about this ordinance?
- 12:51Well to Roman Catholics according to their own
- 12:53catechism. And my intention here is not to
- 12:56misinterpret anything and so everything I'm going to claim.
- 13:01And I as I said last week, I don't prefer this kind of
- 13:04delivery but my head's going to be down more than might be up,
- 13:07but it's because I want to quote the sources for you so that I
- 13:10would not be labeled as deceptive or misleading.
- 13:13I want you to hear what they have to say for themselves and I
- 13:16want that to stir your heart, stir your heart to have a
- 13:20greater Zeal for God's glory and a greater Zeal to reach out
- 13:23people who might not know what. Or even doing, which is very
- 13:27common, very, very common. Don't catechism.
- 13:32Their own statement of faith. That is binding.
- 13:35That is universal. In the Catholic catechism and
- 13:40paragraph number 132 for the Eucharist which they call it,
- 13:46which really just means Thanksgiving.
- 13:48The Eucharist is the source and Summit of the Christian Life.
- 13:56It is the source and the summit of the Christian Life Source,
- 14:00meaning that all spiritual life flows from the partaking of the
- 14:06Eucharist. And the summit meeting that it
- 14:09is the Pinnacle of the Christian experience.
- 14:12You can't get any higher than partaking in Mass.
- 14:18To claim this is quite astounding.
- 14:21And just from that statement alone, you can make the obvious
- 14:25observation that the Eucharist is absolutely vital and Central
- 14:30to the faith of Rome. There's no question about it,
- 14:35but here's a question to ask, why, why is the mass so primary?
- 14:41Why is it so defended? Why is it so cherished?
- 14:43Why is it worshipped? Yes, worshipped.
- 14:48It's an important question because once you understand the
- 14:50attributes, once you understand the implications of what is
- 14:54being taught with the Eucharist, then you'll get why it is so
- 14:58love, cherish and defended. Unfortunately deceiving and here
- 15:02I'm going to make it so easy for you.
- 15:03I hope that's my goal is to break down everything that is
- 15:06learned in the week and to present it to you in a way that
- 15:09you can understand and apply it. All you have to remember is two
- 15:13main aspects, just to two main distinctives that Makes Rome's
- 15:19understanding of the Lord's Supper different than ours.
- 15:22And the first one is this that the mass the Eucharist Rite, the
- 15:26mass is the partaking of the literal body and blood of the
- 15:32son of God. The mass is the partaking of the
- 15:36literal body and blood of the Son of God.
- 15:39Here's a summary from their own documents that leaves a clear
- 15:42foundation and an overview of their belief in this.
- 15:46Be patient with me please, as I read a lot, In their catechism,
- 15:51number 13, 76137 64, you taking notes, the Council of Trent
- 15:58summarizes, the Catholic faith by declaring, because Christ,
- 16:01Our Redeemer said, it was truly his body.
- 16:04That he was offering under the species of bread, it has always
- 16:08been the conviction of the Church of God and this holy
- 16:11Council. Now declares again, pay
- 16:14attention that by the consecration of the Bread and
- 16:18Wine. They're Takes place a change of
- 16:21the whole substance of the bread into the substance of the body
- 16:25of Christ, Our Lord, and of the whole substance of the wine into
- 16:28the substance of his blood. This change the Holy Catholic
- 16:32church has fittingly and properly called
- 16:34transubstantiation. You've heard the term
- 16:37transubstantiation that Fant fancy term simply means a change
- 16:41a transformation in substance. It's real, it's literal, it's
- 16:46not metaphorical. It's not spiritual, it's not
- 16:48allegorical, it is material. And this is a miraculous event
- 16:55by their own claim that the actual elements become the
- 17:00physical body of Jesus and the physical blood.
- 17:05This is again something to be understood as real and tangible
- 17:10here. It is from their own catechism.
- 17:11I caught it to you. 1376 here's paragraph, 1374, this is
- 17:16astounding. In The Most Blessed Sacrament of
- 17:19the Eucharist, the body and blood together.
- 17:23So the body and the blood together with the soul and
- 17:29Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 17:32And therefore, the whole Christ is truly really substantially
- 17:38contained. You're going to hear me quote
- 17:41later on from Catholic answers. Then the same way.
- 17:45Jesus Christ was here, two thousand years ago.
- 17:48He is with us daily. When the Eucharist is presented.
- 17:55Now before I unpack, what that implies, we have to understand
- 17:58that this notion according to the catechism is a teaching that
- 18:02they believed to be from the very lips of the master.
- 18:06You might be wondering where, where do they get this
- 18:08understanding, right, and you remember how I quoted the first
- 18:11paragraph because Christ Our Redeemer said that it was truly
- 18:16his body that he was offering under the species of bread, he
- 18:19said it. So, the claim is, we didn't get
- 18:22this out of thin air. We didn't even, we didn't
- 18:23attribute this to Sacred, to just soon or to the magisterium
- 18:27our basis for this is Christ. And what's their go to passage?
- 18:32You know, it, John chapter 6 and I want you to turn there to the
- 18:36collection of verses that is often referred to to justify
- 18:39this teaching. In John chapter 6.
- 18:47In verse 53. So Jesus said to them, truly
- 18:59truly, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the son of man
- 19:03and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
- 19:06Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks.
- 19:08My blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last
- 19:12day for my flesh is True Food and my blood is true drink.
- 19:18Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks, my blood abides in me
- 19:21and I in him. Seems straightforward.
- 19:25Seems clear, right? Here's the problem.
- 19:29Here's the first problem of going to John chapter 6, to try
- 19:33to justify this. Massive teaching with massive
- 19:39implications and it is catastrophic when you break it
- 19:42down. Was the Lord's Supper even
- 19:47Institute at this point in the ministry of Jesus Christ and
- 19:50sir. No.
- 19:52There is quite some time to go before the institution of the
- 19:55Lord's Supper it even takes place.
- 19:58So what you have here is a teaching that has no connection
- 20:02whatsoever to the ordinance that Christ will establish after he
- 20:09is going to serve his disciples and make and before he makes his
- 20:12way to the Cross, There Is No Illusion here whatsoever.
- 20:16That Jesus is providing some kind of commentary of what takes
- 20:19place at the table. Nothing of the A short.
- 20:23And so, to take a teaching that uses similar terminology, but
- 20:28then to apply it to something that you and I engage with as an
- 20:31ordinance, is a dangerous stretch to make.
- 20:35So then, how do we understand this?
- 20:37How do we make sense of what Jesus is saying?
- 20:39The way you try to understand anything that is being said, in
- 20:42the Bible, you investigate the immediate context.
- 20:46And as you investigate the immediate context without your
- 20:48presuppositions, without any kind of authority telling you,
- 20:52otherwise Eyes. But just with the word of God,
- 20:54in John chapter 6, you have to make the honest, conclusion is
- 20:59in the simple reading and evaluating Jesus, implying that
- 21:02we should not on his body and drink his actual blood.
- 21:07Well let's look forward because thankfully what Jesus says in
- 21:10the very same chapter clarifies, what he meant by this.
- 21:14So I want you to again, look at verse 54, look at the promise
- 21:17associated with eating and drinking him.
- 21:19Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks.
- 21:22My blood has what eternal life has eternal life and I will
- 21:27raise him up on the last day. What a glorious promise you eat
- 21:31of me. You drink of me.
- 21:33You will have eternal life and I will raise you up on the last
- 21:36day. You know what's fascinating
- 21:38about that? That's not the only time in this
- 21:40context, Jesus gives that promise he gives it back here in
- 21:44verse 40. Look at John 640 and what do you
- 21:47read? For this is the will of my
- 21:50father that everyone who looks on the son and believes in Him
- 21:54should have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last
- 21:57day of parallels perfectly. One difference, the precondition
- 22:01is different. The prerequisite is different.
- 22:04Look, back at verse 54. Why was the prerequisite?
- 22:07If you feed on my flesh and if you drink my blood, you have one
- 22:10eternal life and to you have the promise that I will raise you up
- 22:13on the last day. Hold on to that.
- 22:15That's the reward. That's the assurance.
- 22:18You go back to verse 14, you realize that the rewards are
- 22:21still there, the same ones, but what, what is required before
- 22:26that? He says, it who looks on the son
- 22:29and believes in him, who looks on the son and believes in Him.
- 22:35St. Promise, yes.
- 22:37Different precondition. It seems.
- 22:39So and less Jesus here. When you join these two
- 22:44statements proves that in this parallel, the feeding and
- 22:48drinking. Is not a literal command to
- 22:50Feast on him physically, but it is a metaphor for receiving him
- 22:55and believing in him by faith to Christ eating is believing.
- 23:02That's all it is to eat. Means to receive him by faith.
- 23:08And by receiving and by faith, you receive the nourishment and
- 23:12the sustenance that he provides through that channel of simple
- 23:17trust and who he says to be and this is the emphasis in John
- 23:22chapter 6. So, wait, well, why is he using
- 23:26the language of eating and drinking because why are the
- 23:28people there there? They want actual bread.
- 23:32He just multiplied, bread fed, thousands of people and here
- 23:35they are. Again, they want a refill.
- 23:39So Christ meets them there and he takes their physical desire
- 23:43and he parallels it with a spiritual truth.
- 23:46He's meeting them where they're at and he's challenging them
- 23:50through this metaphor, through this figure of applying.
- 23:53It spiritually. Look at verse 35 of John chapter
- 23:566, Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life whoever comes to
- 24:02me, shall not hunger. And whoever believes in me,
- 24:07shall never thirst believe, believe verse 29.
- 24:12When the same crowd asked them, what are the works of God that
- 24:15we need to do? How does Jesus respond?
- 24:18This is the work of God that you believe in him whom he sent.
- 24:23Belief. Receive.
- 24:27Comes by faith, not by feasting. Comes by trust, not by
- 24:34transubstantiation. Now if this is not the true
- 24:39meaning of Jesus words, then we have more problems than just
- 24:43transubstantiation we do because I want you to think about it.
- 24:48If we're consistent with Rome's interpretation here, then you
- 24:52also have to understand that when Jesus says you have eternal
- 24:57life and I will raise you up on the line last day, then I'm just
- 25:00by simple equation. Me eating him and drinking and
- 25:04means I will have eternal life. Eating and drinking him is by
- 25:09faith. That's consistent with the whole
- 25:11scripture that's in harmony with the rest of the Bible.
- 25:14But if eating him and drinking and means that after the priest
- 25:17consecrates, the bread and the wine and it transforms it to
- 25:20Christ's body and I am to eat of him then naturally we have to
- 25:24understand that it is the Eucharist that gives me eternal
- 25:27life. It's the mass that ultimately
- 25:33saves me. That's a different gospel.
- 25:39And only is a different gospel, which I'll get to in a moment.
- 25:42It's inconsistent with scripture because we know that the Lord
- 25:45instituted the Lord's Supper, not for people to become
- 25:48Christian. But for people who aren't
- 25:49Christians, So even the very purpose and definition of the
- 25:55Lord's table is is obliterated because we know that it's for
- 25:59the church that we come in remembrance of him, we don't
- 26:02come to the table to be in him or for him to be in us.
- 26:06Know, because we are in and we now can and have the right to
- 26:08partake in that table. So there's a lot of problems
- 26:11here and this is why it can't be according to how our Roman
- 26:15friends claimed it to be in a common objection that that is
- 26:18often given. It's really a foundational
- 26:20objection to what I just said to you is that if Christ really was
- 26:23speaking here metaphorically, then why didn't you make the
- 26:27effort to clarify that he was speaking and figurative language
- 26:31to those that were there because they interpret it literally and
- 26:34they even walked away. Assuming that what was being
- 26:36said was literal Why didn't Jesus say whoa wait, hold on,
- 26:41no, no let me understand. This is actually talking about
- 26:43faith and although he already talked about belief belief
- 26:46belief over and over and over again.
- 26:49So this is what usually brought forth as an obstacle.
- 26:53And here's a simple answer. Apart from the fact that Jesus
- 26:57uses metaphor a lot especially in John, how many I am
- 26:59statements? I am the door.
- 27:01I am the light, right? How many of them there are
- 27:03seven, including this one apart from that is it foreign to us to
- 27:09actually see in Jesus preaching and teaching that he does not
- 27:12elaborate on what he had said to his audience.
- 27:16Keeping them in the dark. It's not a foreign idea.
- 27:20In fact, Jesus did that and we learned that in Mark especially
- 27:24through his Parables that when he discerned the heart of the
- 27:28people, that no matter how many miracles and how many truths
- 27:30were brought forth to their attention, that they were still
- 27:33willing to deny and not apply the truth.
- 27:35That was given to them. He was still willing to engage
- 27:38with them. But in a way that would solidify
- 27:40their darkness and keep them away from the truth, as an act
- 27:42of discipline in judgment. Is it any different here?
- 27:46It's pretty obvious here. You have this people fixated on
- 27:49the fact that Jesus provided them food, and that's all they
- 27:53wanted him for they saw. Saw him as the king that can
- 27:56overthrow Rome that can make their lives a little bit easier.
- 27:59And so they want to Crown Him and Jesus sees right through
- 28:03them. And so every time, if you read
- 28:06that lengthy chapter, every time Christ tries to diverts them to
- 28:10spiritual truth and eternal life, the people became more and
- 28:14more hostile, more and more upset, more and more Disturbed.
- 28:19And when Christ claimed his Heavenly origin, you can just
- 28:22you can tell just by the reading that they're becoming more
- 28:25distant to Christ. Truly is not more attracted.
- 28:29To the point where Jesus makes these very graphic claims about
- 28:33himself and what is required of them and they walk away and
- 28:36guess what? He doesn't chase them.
- 28:39He doesn't run after them. And this isn't the only time
- 28:41that he does that because Christ knows the heart.
- 28:45And that's why in that same chapter, he talks about the
- 28:47father drawing, right? He talks about what needs to
- 28:51happen in the heart. Something needs to happen in
- 28:54that heart. There needs to be disposition of
- 28:57your heart, to receive who crisis and his claims and not to
- 29:01ignore to misinterpret with your fleshly understanding.
- 29:06And so it's clear but tradition as a way of skewing and
- 29:09confusing, what is clear? Have you ever wondered how not
- 29:14the wise, not the what's but how transubstantiation takes place?
- 29:20Because it's spelled out in great detail and it's actually
- 29:23very important for you to know and here is from their
- 29:26catechism. Number 1105 1105, The invocation
- 29:33upon. So when the priest makes
- 29:36invocation is the intercession in which the priest begs of the
- 29:41father to send the Holy Spirit the sanctifier so that the
- 29:46offerings may become the body and blood of Christ and at the
- 29:49faithful by receiving them may themselves become a living
- 29:53offering to God, John O'Brien who is a Catholic priest wrote a
- 29:58book called The Faith of millions.
- 30:01The faith of Millions. Is the credentials of Catholic
- 30:03religion and in his work, which is very popular, not just
- 30:07popular. It is often referred to, as a
- 30:10theological guide for serious, Roman Catholics.
- 30:12He expands on what is in the catechism here?
- 30:15He expands on it and he gives us even more specific details of
- 30:20what actually takes place. When the priest, yes, that same
- 30:25priest that's their daily. When the priest is ready to
- 30:29consecrate the elements, what actually takes place.
- 30:33Pay attention. This is disturbing.
- 30:36I'm just giving you a heads-up. It's disturbing.
- 30:39This is in his book, from the 1933 publication date, and it's
- 30:43found on page, 27, T and 271. And this is again, this is not
- 30:48some peripheral thing. I was just kind of scrolling
- 30:51through different websites and apologist from the Roman
- 30:54Catholic faith. And I found John O'Brien being
- 30:56referred to as a reference and one of the arguments this is not
- 30:59the same reference but it just goes to show that he still being
- 31:02referred to Quote, you ready for this?
- 31:06When the priest? Pronounces the tremendous words
- 31:11of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ
- 31:17down from his throne and places them upon are altered to be
- 31:23offered up again as the victim for the sins of man.
- 31:27It is a power greater than that of monarchs and Emperors.
- 31:31It is greater than that, of saints, and Angels, greater than
- 31:35that of seraphim and cherubim. Indeed it is Greater even than
- 31:39the power of the Virgin Mary. For while the Blessed Virgin was
- 31:45the human agency by which Christ became incarnate, a single time,
- 31:50the priest brings Christ down from heaven and renders him
- 31:53present on our altar as the Eternal victim for the sins of
- 31:58men. Not once but a thousand times.
- 32:02And quote. You almost got to take a few
- 32:06breaths before you dissect this. Right?
- 32:08It's jarring. It is jarring because according
- 32:11to O'Brien, the priest is the one who has the authority by his
- 32:15command to bring Jesus Christ, out of heaven and to be in our
- 32:22midst. And so great is the office of
- 32:26the priest. According to Old Brian, that his
- 32:29authority, surpasses the prerogative 's that are uniquely
- 32:33bestowed upon who we learn about.
- 32:35Last week, the Virgin Mary, which is another startling thing
- 32:38because of all the praise and the veneration in the worship.
- 32:41That goes to her. It makes you wonder really,
- 32:44there's something that actually challenges Mary.
- 32:46The inconsistencies in a false system are not surprising.
- 32:52And if you think about a deeper, what you have here is actually
- 32:57an imitation, you have an imitation here of the levitical
- 33:01priesthood so we believe what Christ did on the cross is
- 33:07suffice has, right? It's finished.
- 33:10But what you have with the levitical priesthood was what
- 33:13you had priest. You had an altar, you had daily
- 33:16sacrifices priest, alter daily sacrifices.
- 33:20That is mirrored perfectly with Rome's version.
- 33:24You have priests the front. There is not just a nice table
- 33:28decorated, it's an altar, where sacrifices take place, There is
- 33:33an altar and instead of goats, and instead of oxen you have
- 33:37Christ being sacrificed. And this is not my
- 33:43interpretation that's from his very same book on page, 262.
- 33:48We believe that the sacrificial system of old points to a New
- 33:53Covenant, with a greater sacrifice and a greater high
- 33:55priest. But to Rome it foreshadows their
- 33:59priesthood. And it gives them some kind of
- 34:02License to justify their priesthood, their Altar and
- 34:08they're sacrificing, not of animals, but of the son of God.
- 34:15That's a whole different conversation, but let me
- 34:16continue for my original quote going into page 271, okay?
- 34:20If you thought, what I quoted to you was hard, get ready for
- 34:23this? The priest speaks and low
- 34:29Christ, the Eternal, and omnipotent God, boughs, his
- 34:33head, and humble, obedience to the priest command.
- 34:39Of what Sublime dignity is the office of the Christian priest?
- 34:42Who is this privilege to act as the Ambassador and the
- 34:46vicegerent of Christ on Earth. He continues the essential
- 34:50Ministry of Christ. He teaches the faithful with the
- 34:53authority of Christ. He pardons the penitent sinner
- 34:56with the power of Christ. He offers up again the same
- 34:59sacrifice of adoration and atonement, which Christ offered
- 35:04on Calvary. No wonder that the name which
- 35:07spiritual writers are. Especially fond of applying to
- 35:09the Priestess called, is that of alter Christus?
- 35:14For the priest is and should be another Christ.
- 35:22For the priest is and should be another Christ.
- 35:29Funny. I remember Jesus warning about
- 35:32false Christ that would emerge in the last days.
- 35:35Do you remember That people who claim the authority and the
- 35:40power of Christ would be in our midst.
- 35:46So, what you have in the system is not just a false
- 35:48interpretation of communion. You have false Christ who are
- 35:51offering it. Clergy you actually claim and
- 35:57believe that they have the ability to pull Christ down from
- 36:00heaven and to become elements that can be consumed by others.
- 36:06Which results in what exactly think about it.
- 36:08Think about the order of thought, think about the
- 36:09implications, think about what can happen if you have Christ.
- 36:13Actually literally being here in our very presence in close
- 36:17proximity, then you have the Son of God in your midst and if you
- 36:20have the Son of God in your midst, with people who love God
- 36:23or their God, love their Jesus, then what does that invoke?
- 36:27What does that provoque at least worship?
- 36:30Christ is here. And if Christ is here, we're
- 36:34going to worship Him. Worship God no worship the
- 36:38sacrament. Because the sacrament is God
- 36:42With Us. If you don't believe me, if you
- 36:46think this is exaggeration, let me quote from Catholic answers.
- 36:50And this is not an anxious in text.
- 36:52This is modern apologist. Who clarify what they believe
- 36:57quote, since Christ is present in the Eucharist, God is truly
- 37:04present. This means that we give the
- 37:07Blessed Sacrament the worship and adoration that we give to
- 37:11God Alone. We see this especially in our
- 37:15liturgies. When we kneel and genuflect only
- 37:18before the Blessed Sacrament, these are postures that are due
- 37:21to God and only to God as signs of adoration.
- 37:27So what do you have here? You don't have the elements
- 37:29before in which we give thanks to God for what he has done.
- 37:33You have the worship of the actual elements because they're
- 37:36no longer Bread and Wine. It's the body and blood of
- 37:38Christ here with us. And how does that happen?
- 37:43When a man was been ordained in. The priesthood makes the command
- 37:48Christ. Humbles his head in obedience
- 37:49that command and makes his way down.
- 37:52This happens every single day all across how do they explain
- 37:56it? Well, they say it's a miracle,
- 37:58it's a miracle. Only the only the Holy Spirit
- 38:00can make Christ, physically appear in thousands of thousands
- 38:04of their churches or thousands, thousands of wherever they
- 38:06celebrate this at the same time and it's just as real.
- 38:11As you was here, 2,000 years ago.
- 38:15Now here's what they say, the main reason Catholic answers for
- 38:20so great, a confidence resides in the meaning of the Eucharist.
- 38:23Jesus Christ is here on Earth again in the Eucharist just as
- 38:29he was 2,000 years ago. He's not just present in memory,
- 38:33he is not just spiritually present, he is on Earth, body,
- 38:37and blood, soul, and divinity. But is that the only reason why
- 38:45is that the only reason why Catholics believe that bread and
- 38:47wine become the actual presence of Jesus Christ?
- 38:49No, that's not the only reason why it's not so that they can
- 38:51worship Him in closer. Proximity.
- 38:53It's not so that they can have some euphoric, you know,
- 38:56experience this mystical kind of thing.
- 38:59It's more than that. Here's a simple question.
- 39:01If Christ is being brought down, not just to make a show, not
- 39:05just to make some kind of dramatic demonstration.
- 39:10But if he is coming down as a sacrifice, the question is a
- 39:14sacrifice for what? Which is the second Point
- 39:19member. All of that was under the first
- 39:20point, the point that the mass is the literal body, and blood
- 39:24of Jesus Christ. It's the partaking of him
- 39:26physically. Secondly, and lastly, the mass
- 39:30is recognized. As an actual sacrifice.
- 39:37Perhaps some here, you haven't heard that.
- 39:39Maybe this is you hearing it again, but it's very important
- 39:41to understand here. When Christ comes down in the
- 39:43Eucharist, it's not so that he can be merely worship or doored.
- 39:47It's so that a real sacrifice can take place.
- 39:49That something can actually take place in your life as a result
- 39:52of you participating. That sacrifice.
- 39:57And you and I understand the Lord's table to be an act of
- 39:59remembrance. We reflect on what he has done.
- 40:03We even in some measure look forward to what will come to
- 40:06pass when he does return and feast with us.
- 40:09And we reflect as we enjoy, and we rehearse to one another of
- 40:15his saving faith of his grace. That's what we do.
- 40:20But Rome cannot accept the Simplicity of this to them.
- 40:24It's much more. It's, there's something else
- 40:27happening in mass and we have no intention to misrepresent them.
- 40:30So, again, forgive me, I must read what they say and I hope
- 40:33you understand what they're saying.
- 40:35So this isn't their catechism. I did brought the book last
- 40:37time, but you can look this up. This is recorded.
- 40:39You can you can, you can look this up yourself.
- 40:41It's free on a pdf online and number 1367 of the catechism of
- 40:48the Catholic Church. Here's what it says the
- 40:50sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are
- 40:53one single sacrifice, very, very important, the Eucharist and
- 40:57what happened on Calvary is one single sacrifice the victim.
- 41:04Christ is a victim, right? The victim is one and the same,
- 41:08the same. Now offers through the ministry
- 41:10of priests who then offered himself on the cross only in a
- 41:14manner of the offering is different and since in this
- 41:18Divine sacrifice, which is celebrated in the mass, the same
- 41:21Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner, on the altar
- 41:25of the Cross is contained in his offered and an unbloody manner.
- 41:31The sacrifice is truly propitiatory.
- 41:35So, let's break that down. It's one sacrifice.
- 41:38So, when the mass is taking place, this is an additional
- 41:40sacrifices that are happening. The claim is what happened on
- 41:45the cross. Through the mass is being
- 41:48repeated again and again, and again and again, over and over
- 41:53and over and over. And so what happened?
- 41:572,000 years ago, it's happening every single day by the power of
- 42:01the priesthood commands Christ by to come down and for a
- 42:03sacrifice to take place. Now what's the difference and
- 42:07they highlight the difference, the only difference is 2000
- 42:09years ago, it was a bloody sacrifice and what happens daily
- 42:13is an unbloody sacrifice. What does that mean?
- 42:16Here's what it means. The bloody sacrifice means that
- 42:20we don't see the mass as what they saw that day when Jesus
- 42:25Christ died. We don't see the the gruesome
- 42:29bloody bruised, Jesus know. It's the same sacrifice, but
- 42:35it's under the appearance of bread and wine.
- 42:37It's unbloody same sacrifice though.
- 42:41Just different appearance. And that's why a number 136 sis
- 42:46of the catechism. We are told that the Eucharist
- 42:48makes present, they use the word re present but then they they
- 42:53clarify it represent, meaning that they make present, not
- 42:58symbolically they make what happened, then is now happening
- 43:01before your very eyes. I'm sure you can sense, the
- 43:07troubling, realities of this. And it sounds strange, but it's
- 43:12more than strange. It's blasphemous.
- 43:16Blasphemy there's no other way to put it.
- 43:20Call me what you want, kill me if you want.
- 43:24I say it as it is, it's blasphemy.
- 43:28And all you have to do is read the book of Hebrews to
- 43:32understand and know how off this all is and ironically in the
- 43:37theme of the book of Hebrews. What is the author doing by the
- 43:39spirit? He is promoting crisis being so
- 43:42much greater than the levitical system which includes their
- 43:45priests and their sacrifices Christ is better.
- 43:49Don't go back to it. He's better, don't go back to
- 43:51it. He sufficient and know you know
- 43:54the verses I'm sure there's so many of them I'm just going to
- 43:56pull out a collection of to and I'm Going to read it.
- 43:59I don't even need to expound upon it for it to absolutely
- 44:02obliterate. What you just heard.
- 44:05I'll turn with me in your Bibles.
- 44:07I don't want to quote the catechism more than the Bible.
- 44:13Hebrews 7:26. May this refresh your soul, may
- 44:23this bless you, may the secure you met, this create a praise in
- 44:28your heart. This afternoon, Hebrews 7:26 for
- 44:31it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest,
- 44:36wholly, innocent, unstained, separated, from Sinners, and
- 44:40exalted above the heavens. He has no need like those High
- 44:44priests who offer sacrifices daily first for his own sins.
- 44:49And then, for those of the people since he did, This once
- 44:52for all when he offered up himself once for all amen.
- 44:58Indeed I'm glad you're awake this afternoon.
- 45:02Hebrews 10 term with me, Hebrews 10:10.
- 45:12What a lovely sound. And by that will we have been
- 45:17Sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once
- 45:22for all I apologize. I said I want to comment on it
- 45:25but I must buy that. We will have we have been past
- 45:29tense we have been Sanctified through the offering of the body
- 45:33of Jesus went every single day. When the priest commands it?
- 45:37No, once for all verse 11 and every priest stands daily at his
- 45:42service offering Repeatedly. The same sacrifices which can
- 45:46never take away sins but when Christ had offered for all time,
- 45:51a single sacrifice for sins. He sat down at the right hand of
- 45:55God waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a
- 45:59footstool for his feet. Hallelujah indeed.
- 46:02Yes, amen. Now, can you confidently?
- 46:10And honestly say that as you read these scriptures, can you
- 46:13reconcile them with What the catechism teaches can you.
- 46:18Can you truly? Look at these and say we need an
- 46:21altar. And we need priests and we need
- 46:26repeated sacrifices and the priest has the ability to pull
- 46:29Christ now from Heaven, onto Earth again.
- 46:32We are told here that he sat down at the right hand of God
- 46:34waiting from that time until his enemies should be made his
- 46:38footstool. Are these the same?
- 46:42They're not. They're not the same.
- 46:46Because it's a different version of the Lord's table.
- 46:52It's a different Christ. It's a different gospel.
- 46:59Whoa, brother, you got me saying, amen.
- 47:01And Hallelujah, few moments ago, but I understand there's
- 47:05differences brother but for you to make a claim that it's a
- 47:07different gospel. That's a very, very serious
- 47:10statement and I stand by it. I do stand by it.
- 47:17Because, although it is one offering, you have to ask the
- 47:20question. Why?
- 47:22Why is it being offered again? Why is what Christ did 2000
- 47:25years ago? Being re presented made present
- 47:28over and over and over. I won't tell you, I'll let them
- 47:32tell you from their own catechism, did you hear the
- 47:36final words of 1367? This sacrifice is truly
- 47:41propitiatory. It appeases it satisfies it
- 47:49accomplishes something. What does it accomplish while in
- 47:53paragraph number 1366, it's salutary power be applied to the
- 47:58Forgiveness of the sins. We daily commit, That's not
- 48:05clear enough. Let me read to you paragraph
- 48:071414. As sacrifice, the Eucharist is
- 48:13also offered and reparation for the sins of the living.
- 48:18Pay attention in reparation for the sins of the living and the
- 48:23dead. And to obtain spiritual and
- 48:27temporal benefits from God. You heard that, right?
- 48:31So I'm not just approaching the mass to receive forgiveness for
- 48:33my sins. Now, I can actually partake of
- 48:36the mass on behalf of somebody who has died so that they can be
- 48:39forgiven for their sins. Is this the Bible is this?
- 48:47What Christ taught? You heard this correctly?
- 48:52And forgive me because I'm going to give you a now, just and
- 48:53bullet bullet fashion quotes, because I know where this is
- 48:57going to go, and I want to be no mistakes.
- 49:01In the 22nd session of the Council of Trent.
- 49:05In the second chapter under that the title is the sacrifice of
- 49:08the mass is propitiatory both for the living and the dead.
- 49:13And I'm just going to read some of it.
- 49:15Here's what it says for appeased, by the sacrifice, the
- 49:19Lord, grants the grace and gift of penitence.
- 49:21And pardons even for the gravest crimes and sins.
- 49:25For the victim is one in the same.
- 49:27Whenever they say, victim, they mean Jesus.
- 49:30So in their view, Jesus is in Eternal victim.
- 49:33Because he's continually being sacrificed.
- 49:38For the victim is one in the same.
- 49:39The same. Now offering by the ministry of
- 49:41priests who then offered himself on the cross, the manor alone of
- 49:44offering being different, the fruits of that Bloody sacrifice.
- 49:48It is, Well, understood our received, most abundantly
- 49:50through this unbloody one. The fruits of that.
- 49:53Bloody sacrifice are applied and experienced in this unbloody
- 49:57one. I received most abundantly
- 50:02through this unbloody ones so far, it is the latter from
- 50:04derogating anyway, from the former where.
- 50:06For, according to the tradition of the Apostles.
- 50:10This is where I want you to pay attention.
- 50:11It is rightly offered, not only for the sins punishment,
- 50:15satisfactions and other necessities of the faithful who
- 50:19are living, but also for those departed in Christ, but are not
- 50:22yet fully purified. So if you want to come to the
- 50:26table and you know, loved one that claimed to believe in God
- 50:29but didn't really live a Christian Life, didn't really
- 50:31love God, where they go, they go to purgatory and so they're in
- 50:34purgatory, there are being purged, and if you want to
- 50:36accelerate that process, you can take the mass on their behalf
- 50:40and it would be applied to them. And you want to be upset with
- 50:46me. Here is the one of the Cannons
- 50:51under that same session. The twenty second session of the
- 50:55Council of Trent Cannon three. What does this mean for you?
- 50:58What does this mean for you? I'm almost done here.
- 51:01What does this mean? For those who don't believe
- 51:03this, if you do believe this, I hope that you come to the truth
- 51:06of the scriptures. If you don't believe this, What
- 51:11does that mean for you? I'll tell you what they say.
- 51:14If anyone says in Cannon, three of the second twenty second
- 51:17session of the Council of Trent. If anyone says that the
- 51:20sacrifice of the mass is only of praise and thanksgiving or that
- 51:24it is a mere commemoration of the sacrifice consummated on the
- 51:27cross, but not a propitiatory one or that it profits, him only
- 51:31who receives and not be offered for the living and the dead for
- 51:35sins, punishment, satisfactions, and other necessities.
- 51:37Let him be anathema. Your excommunicated, you're not
- 51:41part of the true church. You're not a real Christian if
- 51:44you don't believe that this is more than just remembering.
- 51:46If you don't believe that this is more than just a reason to
- 51:48give, thanks to God. If you don't believe that, it
- 51:50actually can forgive Sins, Not Just for the living but for the
- 51:52dead, you are anathematized. You want to get angry at me?
- 51:59You want to think I'm divisive? Here's the 13th session of the
- 52:05Council of Trent Cannon one. If anyone denies that in the
- 52:09sacrament of the most holy Eucharist are contained, truly
- 52:12really, as substantially the body and blood together with the
- 52:15soul and Divinity of our Lord. Jesus Christ and consequently
- 52:18the whole Christ but says that he is only as in a sign.
- 52:22If you believe that it's just the sign and you don't think
- 52:24it's body, blood soul and Divinity of Christ here on Earth
- 52:27if you don't believe that. If you only believe it's a sign
- 52:32of figure or Force, let him be anathema.
- 52:36So there's condemnation here, condemnation for those who don't
- 52:40believe what is being taught by the system.
- 52:48I can end it here but I don't want to end it with you being
- 52:50condemned. I don't want to end up with you
- 52:54leaving with that. I've quoted this verse many
- 52:58times and I can't help it, so forgive me.
- 53:02And when I was thinking about what's a way that we can end
- 53:04this with a final exclamation mark, that would hopefully boost
- 53:08your heart and rejoicing in the truth that you're in.
- 53:13How can you move forward from Hebrews?
- 53:16And maybe you have a more accurate way of ending this but
- 53:20I can't think of anything else other than Hebrews 10:14. for
- 53:25buying single Sacrifice by single offering, he has
- 53:29perfected for all time, those who are being sanctified For by
- 53:36single not, a repeated, not a nun.
- 53:38Bloody Not by the authority of any priest.
- 53:42Now, by Christ coming to this Earth again, and again and again
- 53:46now by taking what he did 2000 years ago and Performing that
- 53:49sacrifice again and again, for by single offering, We have been
- 53:55made perfect. Amen.
- 54:05I appreciate your applauses, this afternoon.
- 54:07I appreciate your amens, I appreciate your attention.
- 54:11I want us to pray and how I want us to pray.
- 54:13I want you to join me in sincerity of your heart.
- 54:15Maybe you have a Roman Catholic mother father, brother, sister
- 54:18friend and maybe I'm sure you love them very much.
- 54:24Maybe this Disturbed you because in my presentation, you are
- 54:28thinking of them and you might have Associated what I'm saying
- 54:31as an attack on people that, you know, and that you see who
- 54:37supposedly love God and serve him.
- 54:40And again I'm not pointing out. People I'm pointing out this
- 54:43system and I'm fully aware that there are people who are in that
- 54:46system, even priests who don't really know what they're doing,
- 54:49who don't really know what the church teaches their Church
- 54:51teaches. I want us to pray for our
- 54:54family. This afternoon I this is not
- 54:55just some lesson to provide shock value.
- 54:58We want to hear this and then we want to bring our prayers to God
- 55:01through the mediator Christ Jesus.
- 55:04That God would give us an opportunity to share what we've
- 55:06learned in the spirit of love. And that God would Open the Eyes
- 55:10of those that we know and those that we don't even know to come
- 55:12to the truth and to embrace the Simplicity of the Gospel.
- 55:18Let's pray. And let's really Posh our hearts
- 55:22seriously and attentively. Father, we are shaken.
- 55:32Perhaps, we even feel a righteous indignation.
- 55:37But again Lord we acknowledge in your presence.
- 55:40We too were once lost. And we too have done and said
- 55:45and maybe even believe things that are contrary to your word.
- 55:50And so Lord, we do not sit on the high seat.
- 55:53Of self-righteousness this afternoon.
- 55:58If there's any anger, it is towards the evil one.
- 56:02Who is deceived many? Who seeks to viciously veiled
- 56:07the glory of Christ to minimize the sufficiency of the cross.
- 56:13To make less of what you have already done.
- 56:17And we thank you that your word is clear.
- 56:19We thank you. That we are in the truth.
- 56:24We pray for those who are not. We pray for those who might be
- 56:27uneducated unaware and even worse who are aware but believe
- 56:32what Rome has to say to be true. And for those who might not be a
- 56:37part of the Roman Catholic church, but different
- 56:39traditional churches that have very similar views of the
- 56:43Eucharist. What have mercy on them?
- 56:47Give us opportunity to speak kindly to them but without fear
- 56:51of what is true. We pray that you would convict
- 56:55those who are actively participating and something that
- 56:58you do not approve of, we pray for those, even those who claim
- 57:02to be Evangelical. Who don't see the differences,
- 57:07who don't care to see the differences.
- 57:08You don't see the significance of what participating in a
- 57:12different table actually means. Lord, we are humbled.
- 57:19We have much to think about but for now Lord we are humbled and
- 57:22grateful for all that we heard all that was accessed.
- 57:27Thank you, that we live in an age where these things can be
- 57:29accessed. So freely and quickly.
- 57:32Surely you are coming soon. Where your gospel is being
- 57:35proclaimed to the nation's, At a rate that we've never seen
- 57:40before. Lord, use us until you do come
- 57:43help us, honor you and everything, the Lord's supper
- 57:45and our baptism and are preaching in our daily lives,
- 57:48help us honor you. And again, with all that, we
- 57:50learn may not puff us up. May not make us.
- 57:53Arrogant may not make us abusive or unnecessarily offensive.
- 57:58Miss often us or may break us. Make me and make us more loving
- 58:04and compassionate and yearning for people to be saved.
- 58:08Lord, we say, Amen in a moment and we pray that you would
- 58:11receive worship even through a heavy session like this may you
- 58:14receive pure. Holy clean, faithful Worship in
- 58:19Jesus name. Amen.
- 58:22Amen, amen Saints, let's stand and Worship the Lord.
