- 0:01Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show.
- 0:02Speaker 1: On 710WOR. Thank you, Shadow Stevens. Welcome to hour number two.
- 0:09Speaker 1: That's right. If you still don't know, the show is
- 0:12Speaker 1: now three hours. We start at 9 a.m. It's now
- 0:16Speaker 1: nine to nine. Now three hours. It wasn't my idea,
- 0:20Speaker 1: but it's worked out very well. Nine to ten hour
- 0:23Speaker 1: is way, way up in the ratings, and we are
- 0:26Speaker 1: killing everybody between nine and ten. So thanks to you,
- 0:31Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to this hour. We'll
- 0:34Speaker 1: get to all sorts. We'll get to Bruce Blakeman, Kathy Hochul. Blakeman,
- 0:40Speaker 1: I think, is on his way to a big victory.
- 0:41Speaker 1: A lot of momentum there. The midterms, Republicans most likely
- 0:48Speaker 1: will win the Senate. Looks very good for the Senate. Now,
- 0:52Speaker 1: the House, that could go either way. It's just too
- 0:54Speaker 1: close to call. And the polls are very, crazy rigged
- 0:59Speaker 1: and skewed, so you can't go by them. It's hard
- 1:02Speaker 1: to tell. Now, you've got a lot of places like
- 1:05Speaker 1: Michigan where you've got this crazy Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed, this communist, crazy,
- 1:11Speaker 1: almost a doctor, not quite a doctor, a little bit
- 1:15Speaker 1: of a doctor, but he's not really a doctor. And
- 1:17Speaker 1: you've got the normal candidate, good, solid guy, Mike Rogers
- 1:21Speaker 1: running in Michigan. Forget what the polls show. They're always
- 1:24Speaker 1: skewed way to the left. Michigan, I'm from Michigan. Michigan's
- 1:27Speaker 1: a good, common-sense kind of place. You've got to figure.
- 1:31Speaker 1: There's a couple of pockets of crazy, radical voters, but
- 1:35Speaker 1: most of Michigan will go with Rogers. And Rogers still
- 1:38Speaker 1: battling El-Sayed. He can't even get along with his other senators.
- 1:41Speaker 1: He's already threatened one of his Democrat senators, put his
- 1:44Speaker 1: head on a pike. I mean, this guy's angry and divisive.
- 1:48Speaker 1: And when he does that kind of thing, you're never
- 1:50Speaker 1: going to get a problem fixed. Yeah, well, that's him
- 1:52Speaker 1: on El-Sayed. El-Sayed... in the Senate. The Democrats in the Senate,
- 1:57Speaker 1: they don't want Al-Sayed. They do not want to work
- 1:59Speaker 1: with this guy. Here's Al-Sayed yelling and screaming about something.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Why do you think that Republicans are really using you
- 2:09Speaker 1: to attack the whole Democratic Party? I think we all
- 2:14Speaker 1: well know why they're doing it. My name's Abdul. I'm Muslim.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's not the communist stuff. It's not the crazy positions
- 2:21Speaker 1: you've taken. It's your first name. That's what Most voters,
- 2:24Speaker 1: that's what they go by. They vote based on the
- 2:26Speaker 1: first name. You're always going to get this kind of stuff.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Even crazy Kathy Hochul, Blakeman was just mopping the floor
- 2:34Speaker 1: with her in the debate, and she panicked, and she
- 2:36Speaker 1: went total panic. Remember, she started yelling, Blakeman is a QAnon.
- 2:41Speaker 1: He's hanging around with white supremacists. Now, of course, it's
- 2:46Speaker 1: preposterous when you look at Bruce Blakeman, but that's what
- 2:49Speaker 1: you do. When you're Kathy Hochul and you're in desperate
- 2:53Speaker 1: trouble in a debate, you pull out that crazy low-life
- 2:57Speaker 1: Joe Biden kind of crap. That's what Biden used to
- 2:59Speaker 1: do in a debate. He'd yell and scream, you're a
- 3:00Speaker 1: white supremacist, you're a QAnon, you're an alt-right. Nobody knows
- 3:04Speaker 1: what the hell QAnon is or what alt-right is. It's
- 3:07Speaker 1: some chat room on the internet that nobody's been in,
- 3:09Speaker 1: nobody knows about. I mean, he said he's hanging around
- 3:12Speaker 1: with QAnon. He couldn't hang around with QAnon if he
- 3:15Speaker 1: wanted to. Nobody knows who the hell it is or
- 3:17Speaker 1: where it is. If I said right now, let me
- 3:20Speaker 1: go hang out with QAnon, where's that? So it was
- 3:25Speaker 1: real low-level Joe Biden crap. The fact that Hochul resorted
- 3:28Speaker 1: to that was, it was an amazing moment. And it
- 3:31Speaker 1: just shows how empty her argument was that she tried
- 3:35Speaker 1: that kind of crap. So here's the problem. If, let's
- 3:40Speaker 1: say Democrats were to win the whole thing, Senate, House,
- 3:44Speaker 1: they're not, but let's say they were. They would then
- 3:48Speaker 1: go full crazy. They would be able to pass anything
- 3:51Speaker 1: and everything. They would pass the most radical, crazy nonsense.
- 3:55Speaker 1: They'd impeach Trump. They would just go berserk. This would
- 3:59Speaker 1: cost them the 2028 election. So you've got to remember,
- 4:02Speaker 1: if they win big, they're going to lose in 2028
- 4:04Speaker 1: because the public won't like all this crap they're going
- 4:08Speaker 1: to do. So they would lose in 2028. Also remember,
- 4:12Speaker 1: even if they just win the House, that will give
- 4:14Speaker 1: them a lot of power in Congress. they will come
- 4:18Speaker 1: for Chuck Schumer. They will take him out. Chuck Schumer
- 4:22Speaker 1: is the worst politician, the most awful thing that ever
- 4:26Speaker 1: happened in New York. He may have been good in
- 4:28Speaker 1: the beginning, but he just became a low-life, cheap politician,
- 4:32Speaker 1: just doing favors for donors, collecting money. He's always there
- 4:37Speaker 1: when you don't need him. He's never there when you
- 4:39Speaker 1: need him. When the crazy anti-Semitism was putting kids in
- 4:45Speaker 1: Columbia University and other places in great physical danger. Where
- 4:49Speaker 1: was Schumer? Left town. Remember during the pandemic? Left town.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Remember during the riots? Left town. He's always hiding. He's
- 4:56Speaker 1: never there when you need him. Only there when you
- 4:58Speaker 1: don't need him. When the anti-Semitism spread like wildfire, he
- 5:04Speaker 1: ran the other way. In fact, he even went along
- 5:07Speaker 1: with all the crazy democratic socialists and anti-Israel and anti-Semites.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You know, in the middle of all that, he wrote
- 5:14Speaker 1: a book called Anti-Semitism. That was just for cover. That
- 5:17Speaker 1: was just in case anybody brought up the fact that
- 5:20Speaker 1: he was playing along with these anti-Semites. He could point
- 5:23Speaker 1: to the book. That's the only reason he wrote that book,
- 5:25Speaker 1: just to give himself some cover. But it fooled nobody.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It didn't fool anyone. And obviously, Republicans don't like him,
- 5:32Speaker 1: except the donors. But Democrats don't like him either, except
- 5:36Speaker 1: the donors. But he's finished. If the Democrats win big,
- 5:42Speaker 1: First thing they're going to do is throw Schumer the
- 5:44Speaker 1: hell out. That'll be the end of Schumer. A lot
- 5:47Speaker 1: of establishment politicians will get thrown out if these crazies win.
- 5:52Speaker 1: But it looks like Republicans will hold the Senate. The
- 5:55Speaker 1: House could go either way. You'd need a lot of
- 6:00Speaker 1: momentum and a lot of turnout. That's what this No
- 6:04Speaker 1: Kings rally was about. But also you've got Donald Trump
- 6:06Speaker 1: out there. If anybody can pull a rabbit out of
- 6:08Speaker 1: the hat, it'll be him in the end. The midterms
- 6:12Speaker 1: are 15 days away. They're two weeks from tomorrow. You're
- 6:16Speaker 1: in the final two weeks of the campaign. And you've
- 6:19Speaker 1: got to remember, there's early voting already getting underway. So
- 6:23Speaker 1: the election is pretty much on right now. Hey, in
- 6:25Speaker 1: the Ukraine, Zelensky turning on President Trump, which is not
- 6:31Speaker 1: a smart thing to do, but in his defense, President
- 6:34Speaker 1: Trump turned on him first, even last week saying Ukraine
- 6:39Speaker 1: should get a new leader. Now, from the beginning, the
- 6:44Speaker 1: only reason the Ukraine survived is the U.S. backed it.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The only reason the Ukraine is still there is because
- 6:50Speaker 1: we provided all the weapons, all the military power, all
- 6:53Speaker 1: the money for the first few years. The war is
- 6:56Speaker 1: like now, it's like year 27 of this war. Actually,
- 7:00Speaker 1: what is it, year five already? Year four or five
- 7:03Speaker 1: of this war? But we totally saved Ukraine with weapons,
- 7:09Speaker 1: with money, with everything they needed. Now, give Ukraine credit,
- 7:13Speaker 1: in the last couple of years, they started to make
- 7:15Speaker 1: their own weapons, drones, state-of-the-art, unbelievable drones. They even started
- 7:21Speaker 1: to build their own drone factories. They're turning them out
- 7:23Speaker 1: by the thousands. Then they started to make their own missiles,
- 7:26Speaker 1: their own missile factories. Zelensky has been brilliant about that. Ukraine, amazing.
- 7:32Speaker 1: That's how we won World War II, by coming up
- 7:34Speaker 1: with the right weapons and being able to manufacture them
- 7:37Speaker 1: a lot bigger and better than the enemy. Well, that's
- 7:40Speaker 1: what Ukraine has done here with drones and missiles. So
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's great. But we've needed them to stop doing certain things.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Don't take out the Russian oil refineries because that drives
- 7:52Speaker 1: up the price of oil like crazy. And President Trump
- 7:56Speaker 1: asked him to stop hitting the refineries. Zelensky didn't listen.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And then the next day and the next day and
- 8:03Speaker 1: the next day took out Russian oil refineries. He's still
- 8:06Speaker 1: doing it. So that upset President Trump. He let Zelensky
- 8:10Speaker 1: have it. He even said you should get a new
- 8:12Speaker 1: leader in the Ukraine. So Zelensky is going now after Trump.
- 8:17Speaker 1: He's afraid to come right out and attack him. But
- 8:20Speaker 1: he kind of did here by saying it's the EU,
- 8:23Speaker 1: the European Union. They've kind of stepped in and they've
- 8:28Speaker 1: been helping out with money and whatever. So listen to this.
- 8:31Speaker 1: He's trying to praise the EU for European Union, but
- 8:36Speaker 1: he's kind of letting you know, forget Trump. The only
- 8:38Speaker 1: ones that are there for me are the EU.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm so thankful that we have such huge support from EU,
- 8:44Speaker 2: Council Commission, and leaders, real leaders, so that they stay
- 8:50Speaker 2: with us from the very beginning of this war.
- 8:54Speaker 1: See what I mean? They are leaders, real leaders, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: unlike Trump. All right. He's entitled to that. Trump went
- 9:01Speaker 1: after him first. But this... is what was supposed to
- 9:05Speaker 1: happen in the first place. It was supposed to be
- 9:07Speaker 1: the EU back in the... It wasn't just supposed to
- 9:11Speaker 1: be us with the money and the weapons. Where was
- 9:12Speaker 1: the EU for the first three, four years? They should
- 9:16Speaker 1: have been handling this. It's in their backyard. It's their
- 9:19Speaker 1: problem a lot more than it's ours. So, hey, and
- 9:23Speaker 1: it turns out, remember last week, the Starlink, the Elon
- 9:28Speaker 1: Musk system, the satellite system, Starlink, and they have the
- 9:33Speaker 1: military version, which is way beyond the civilian version, the
- 9:37Speaker 1: military version. They were depending on that for communications to
- 9:40Speaker 1: get their intelligence, U.S. providing them with intelligence. The Starlink
- 9:45Speaker 1: was vital to them to find out targeting and all
- 9:48Speaker 1: that stuff. Well, it went down last week for a
- 9:51Speaker 1: couple of days, and Zelensky blamed Elon Musk. Elon Musk
- 9:59Speaker 1: then tweeted out, he has nothing to do with turning
- 10:02Speaker 1: on or off the Starlink. That would be the U.S.
- 10:04Speaker 1: military and the president. And then the U.S. military and
- 10:08Speaker 1: the president said they didn't turn it off. They didn't
- 10:11Speaker 1: do anything to it. Zelensky didn't believe them. But now
- 10:15Speaker 1: it turns out that it wasn't the U.S. or President Trump.
- 10:19Speaker 1: We didn't shut it down. It's just something in the system,
- 10:21Speaker 1: it shut itself down for a couple of days. Here's
- 10:24Speaker 1: Marco Rubio. Well, I don't know what Zelensky said. I'm
- 10:26Speaker 1: not sure Zelensky knows what he's talking about, but it
- 10:28Speaker 1: wasn't deliberate. We had nothing to do with it. The
- 10:31Speaker 1: United States, nobody ordered that Starlink speed to be slowed down.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It sort of happened. Yeah, I mean, hey, you've seen
- 10:38Speaker 1: this happen to anything, digital, anything, Internet. It can all
- 10:41Speaker 1: of a sudden slow down and needs to be fixed,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and that was what happened. Hey, speaking of all this stuff, AI.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You know, the AI stocks have been going crazy there, obviously.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I mean, if you bought AI stocks a while back,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're making a lot of money. Way, way, way up. So,
- 11:01Speaker 1: why are they suddenly dropping a little? Because a lot
- 11:05Speaker 1: of investors have convinced themselves. I don't mean the real investors.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't mean the Warren Buffetts. I mean the amateur investors,
- 11:14Speaker 1: the other investors. They've all convinced themselves this is a
- 11:16Speaker 1: bubble and it's going to burst and they're going to
- 11:18Speaker 1: come crashing down. So a lot of them are panicking
- 11:21Speaker 1: right now. There's panic. They're selling the AI stocks because
- 11:25Speaker 1: they've gone up way too much, way too far. And
- 11:28Speaker 1: they'll give you all these stories about how the pattern
- 11:30Speaker 1: matches the pattern of the dot-com bubble, of the this bubble.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It looks like it's a bubble pattern. They can see it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: They can't see anything. So the AI stocks have been dropping. However...
- 11:45Speaker 1: all of a sudden there's big NASDAQ gains because the
- 11:48Speaker 1: real investors, the ones that actually know what they're doing,
- 11:52Speaker 1: are buying the dip. The dip has caused them to
- 11:55Speaker 1: come in, and those are the big investors, big money investors.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So that's why you're seeing this little NASDAQ spike right now.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You know, the Warren Buffetts of the world will always
- 12:04Speaker 1: tell you that when everybody is in panic, when everybody
- 12:11Speaker 1: says it's crashing, when everybody's fleeing, That's when they buy.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That's the time to buy. When everybody's enthusiastic, don't buy.
- 12:20Speaker 1: When everybody's in panic, everybody's in fear, that's when they buy.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So Bruce Blakeman has caught up to Kathy Hochul in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the polls. He may even be passing her right now.
- 12:31Speaker 1: But don't get complacent. This is a turnout election. You've
- 12:34Speaker 1: got to get out there and vote. Hochul was in
- 12:38Speaker 1: panic already. That's why she spent millions and millions on
- 12:41Speaker 1: these attack ads. She's using up a lot of her money.
- 12:44Speaker 1: The Democratic Governors Group had to step in. They had
- 12:47Speaker 1: to lend her money. They've poured in $ 4 million. This
- 12:50Speaker 1: is how desperate she's getting. Another $ 4 million from them.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Who is that Democratic Governors Group? Well, a big chunk
- 12:57Speaker 1: of the money came from Mayor Bloomberg and then from
- 13:01Speaker 1: the New York Hospital Association Management Corporation. They each put
- 13:05Speaker 1: in a million dollars. Another $ 600, 000 came from the Sports
- 13:11Speaker 1: Betting Alliance. John Hess, he's the CEO of Hess Corporation.
- 13:16Speaker 1: He put in $ 600, 000. The Super PAC on Saturday released
- 13:21Speaker 1: two different ads slamming Blakeman. Now, what do you attack
- 13:27Speaker 1: Blakeman on? They did tons of opposition research. They dug
- 13:30Speaker 1: into everything about Blakeman. You know what they found? Nothing.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Not a bad, not a damn thing. I mean, they
- 13:37Speaker 1: did some serious opposition research. There is no skeleton in
- 13:40Speaker 1: the Blakeman closet. They could not find anything to attack
- 13:44Speaker 1: him on. So what are the ads? Well, the first
- 13:47Speaker 1: one is about MAGA Bruce Blakeman. He's MAGA. He's MAGA.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He's MAGA. If that's all you got. He is friends
- 13:55Speaker 1: with Donald Trump. He agrees with him on some things.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He disagrees with him on a lot of things. Disagrees
- 14:00Speaker 1: with him on major things. He's pro-choice. Trump is not.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Trump actually is, but he pretends he's not. There's a
- 14:09Speaker 1: lot of issues he disagrees with him on. Uh, but they, um,
- 14:13Speaker 1: they're calling them MAGA, uh, the other attack ad, uh,
- 14:18Speaker 1: same thing, same thing there. His support of Donald Trump's
- 14:22Speaker 1: cost raising agenda is hurting New York. No, it's, he's
- 14:25Speaker 1: not supporting anything that's raising costs. Blakeman firing back, calling
- 14:30Speaker 1: Hochul a useful tool who takes orders from Mamdani, uh,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I wouldn't call her moderate. She's an extremist. I don't
- 14:37Speaker 1: care what she calls herself, but look at her record.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Highest taxes in the United States.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Extreme.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Utility bills 75% higher than the national average. That's a
- 14:47Speaker 1: good point. You want to associate him with Trump when
- 14:50Speaker 1: you're totally, totally connected to Mamdani in every way. Hey,
- 14:56Speaker 1: we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. We'd
- 15:01Speaker 1: love to hear from you, especially if you're a new caller,
- 15:02Speaker 1: if you've never called before.
- 15:04Speaker 2: 800-321-0710.
