- 0:00Okay, guys. Welcome. Welcome to J&B Live.
- 0:07Thank you guys for joining us. You want to go ahead and give your introduction, Broker J3?
- 0:12You know, thank you. We appreciate you guys for joining us this evening at Live
- 0:17with J&B. We really appreciate you guys. You could have been anywhere else,
- 0:20but you guys decided to join us tonight. We're going to have a great conversation tonight.
- 0:25You know, in this conversation, this conversation is something serious because
- 0:30it's what's happening right now. Everybody's in a state of distrust.
- 0:33So the question tonight is why does nobody trust anybody anymore?
- 0:38Let's get into it, Doc B.
- 0:40Okay. So we're going to be talking, when it comes to trust, we're going to be
- 0:44talking about why does nobody trust anybody anymore?
- 0:48And this can be in relationships. It can be in friendships, jobs, politics.
- 0:55And we want to talk about the fact that has trust completely disappeared?
- 1:01Some people feel like it has, okay?
- 1:03So welcome again, everybody, to another episode of J&E Live.
- 1:07Thank you guys for tuning in to our podcast.
- 1:12You could have been anywhere else, just like Broker J3 said,
- 1:15but you decided to hang out with us for a little while, okay?
- 1:17So we're going to have that conversation that people are sometimes afraid to say out loud.
- 1:23We're going to actually say it out loud. That's what we're going to do.
- 1:26So tonight we're discussing something that is affecting a lot of relationships,
- 1:31families, workplaces, different friendship, and even complete strangers we meet every day.
- 1:38Some people are in that mode where they don't trust nobody, absolutely nobody.
- 1:44So somewhere along the way, trust has become one of the hardest things,
- 1:48guys, to give and one of the easiest things to lose.
- 1:52It's so easy to lose a person's trust. So we're talking about that tonight.
- 1:56So the simple question is, why does nobody trust anybody anymore?
- 2:01You know, you have to ask yourself that question.
- 2:03Stay with us tonight. Hang on in there with us. This is going to be an intense
- 2:07conversation. We would love for you to give us your feedback.
- 2:11So go ahead and drop that city and state and let us know where you guys are from.
- 2:15Okay, we're going to go deep with it tonight, guys.
- 2:18All right, guys. So let's go ahead and get into what, you know.
- 2:25What changed, you know, from how things used to be to how they are right now?
- 2:31So we're going to get into it.
- 2:32You know, again, welcome, family. We appreciate everybody tuning in tonight.
- 2:37As Doc B said, make sure you guys tap that screen, hit that like button.
- 2:40And it's okay if you guys send us a gift. We really appreciate it.
- 2:43Yeah, we do. And keep those comments coming because you know how it affects the algorithm.
- 2:48And real quick, before we get too deep, guys, make sure you guys slide over
- 2:52to YouTube at Live with J&B. and make sure you guys subscribe.
- 2:55We really appreciate it.
- 2:57And again, as Dr. B said, tell us where you guys are watching us from tonight
- 3:01in the conversation, because again, it's about to get real.
- 3:05Yes, it is. Okay, guys. So trust used to be the foundation of how,
- 3:10you know, our society worked, particularly the African-American society.
- 3:14That's how we actually operate. You know, you trust somebody,
- 3:17you know, you do business with them. That's how we, you know,
- 3:20you trust family, you trust friends, okay? Okay.
- 3:24You trusted all of them, your neighbors, you know, you can trust your neighbors
- 3:27to watch your kids. You trust your teachers, the teachers, the ones that spend
- 3:31most of the day with your children, you know, when they're in school.
- 3:35People in your church, your employer, your relationships, much differently than
- 3:40people do now. People don't get to the point now where they don't trust nobody.
- 3:44So you trusted those that were close to you particularly.
- 3:48Yeah, but you know, Doc B, fast forward to 2026, and everybody seems so suspicious.
- 3:55You know, people are questioning motives, you know, they're overanalyzing conversations,
- 4:01and some folks even walk into every interaction already expecting betrayal.
- 4:07Yes, they do, Broker J3, and this is the sad part about all of this,
- 4:10guys, is people have experienced disappointment so often that distrust has become a survival mechanism.
- 4:17They don't, they've been disappointed so much that they don't know how to trust
- 4:22anyone. So they're trying to survive.
- 4:24People are protecting themselves and there, some are even protecting their hearts.
- 4:30Yeah. But tonight I want people to ask themselves.
- 4:34Yeah. Are people becoming smarter or are we becoming emotionally damaged?
- 4:41Okay, guys. So drop it in the comments.
- 4:45Cache, sincere. I like that, sincere. This is a good topic for you because we're talking about trust.
- 4:52I think that's Valentino, Nigel, is that chief?
- 4:56Thank you for joining us. And Dwayne Fox, welcome back. Thank you guys for being
- 4:59a part of the J&B family. So let me ask this question.
- 5:03Do you trust people easily? You know, do you have that little,
- 5:07you know, sense that you could just trust anybody, you Or has life forced you
- 5:13to move a little differently?
- 5:15You know, have you gotten to the point where you don't hardly trust anybody?
- 5:18So we're going to talk about people moving differently in 2026, BrokerJay3. Yeah.
- 5:24And, you know, to answer that question, Doc B, I know people are dropping that
- 5:28answer. Do they trust people easily or has life forced them to move a little
- 5:32different in the comments? But, you know, to answer that question,
- 5:35Doc B, I think that will be based on people's experience.
- 5:39For some of the people that have not experienced that distrust,
- 5:42they probably trust people a little bit more easily. But for some people that
- 5:45have had that serious mistrust going on, they're probably moving a little bit different.
- 5:49But, you know, one thing that I notice now is people are moving extremely guarded.
- 5:55You know, everybody says protect your peace, but sometimes that means cutting
- 5:59people off before giving them a chance.
- 6:02Yes, it does. And I cannot stress this enough. I talk about it all the time.
- 6:08By all means, guys, protect your peace by all means. But Broker Day 3,
- 6:13I agree with everything that you just said.
- 6:16Years ago, people gave others the benefit of the doubt. You know,
- 6:20they didn't even question it. They would just give people, you know,
- 6:23they would trust people until they proved them, you know, wrong or they gave
- 6:27them a reason not to trust them.
- 6:28But today, people expect disappointment from the get go. They ain't going to
- 6:32trust you at all. I don't care if you've done anything to, you know, to warrant that or not.
- 6:38This is totally backwards from the way that things used to be.
- 6:43That's right, Dr. B. Everybody says keep your circle small, but everybody says trust nobody.
- 6:49You know, everybody says watch how people move around you. You know,
- 6:53you hear that all the time.
- 6:55Yeah, you sure do. And the danger to this, guys, is that that mindset that people
- 7:00have about, you know, your circle being small, you know, watch people around you.
- 7:06When you constantly expect betrayal, when you just, you know,
- 7:10you just questioning everybody around you. because you feel like you're going to be betrayed.
- 7:14When you do that, you sometimes sabotage health relationships before they even,
- 7:20get off the ground, before they even begin. And sometimes that could be dangerous.
- 7:24You don't want to do that.
- 7:26Yes, it can not be. You know, people are moving from, they're moving away from
- 7:30love. You know, people are moving away from protection.
- 7:34Mm, mm, that is sad that we're at the point now where we're to the point where nobody trusts anybody.
- 7:43And that's what we're talking about tonight. Those of you who are joining us, that is our topic.
- 7:48Why does nobody trust anybody anymore? And we told you that some people are
- 7:53to that point now where instead of giving people the benefit of the doubt,
- 7:57they don't even trust them from the get-go.
- 7:59And that's sad that they are doing that right now. Okay, guys,
- 8:03so what I want you to do, the question is now, okay, are people protecting themselves
- 8:08or are they becoming emotionally unavailable? What do you think, guys?
- 8:13Let us know what you're thinking. Yeah, we did have a comment.
- 8:16I see everyone is hurting.
- 8:18We got another comment that says people are dishonest. Yes, they are.
- 8:22That is true. That is true. What do you think about that, Bro, J3?
- 8:27You know, I think it's a little of both, Doc B.
- 8:32You know, I think people are trying to protect themselves emotionally and they're
- 8:37trying to protect themselves.
- 8:38You know, I think it's a little bit of both. So, guys, drop your city and state in the comments, guys.
- 8:44You know, let us know if trust has become harder for you over the years or not.
- 8:50Okay, we even got another comment that says, even the people who say they love God.
- 8:54That is true. It is true. And that's particularly one of the reasons why a lot
- 8:59of people don't trust anybody. They feel like if the people who say they're
- 9:03in the church, you know, will betray you, then anybody will betray you.
- 9:09And that's why some people are where they are today. Okay, so we are going to
- 9:13talk about the friendship betrayal of Broker J3.
- 9:17Okay, let's get into it. Okay, guys, so let's talk about, we're going to give you a situation.
- 9:23You know, this could have happened to some of you, may have, may have not.
- 9:26But let's talk about a situation that a lot of people that are on with us today
- 9:31may have experienced. Just imagine you have a friend, that you're helping a
- 9:34friend to build a business. You help that person, and we've all helped our friends
- 9:38because that's what friends do.
- 9:40We help them build it from day one. You support them, you promote them,
- 9:43you encourage them, and you show up consistently for them.
- 9:49Yeah, but then one day they become successful and they suddenly start moving differently.
- 9:56You know, they stop calling, they stop acknowledging your support,
- 10:00and they begin acting like, you know, they got there alone.
- 10:04All by themselves. Yeah, they don't forget all about you.
- 10:09It's just like some people will step over you going to the top,
- 10:12but once they get to the top, boy, they don't forget all about you. Okay.
- 10:16And that leaves people asking the question, should loyalty still matter once
- 10:21success arrives? Should you still, once you get to the top, should you still
- 10:26remain loyal to those that help you along the way?
- 10:29I think you should. I think you owe them.
- 10:32What do you think, Broker Day 3? I think you're absolutely right.
- 10:37You know, this happens every day, Dot B.
- 10:40You know, this happens absolutely every day. People say they support you until
- 10:46success makes them uncomfortable, okay?
- 10:49This affects why no one trusts anyone anymore because people switch up when the money comes.
- 10:56Yes, yes. Some people do switch up. They switch up. They forget.
- 10:59And I don't know if it's because they may be embarrassed, you know,
- 11:02as to where they were at one point in time.
- 11:06But I think it's very important that you never forget where you came from,
- 11:11because that's a part of, you know, once you become successful,
- 11:14because that's a part of what made you who you are currently.
- 11:19That's a part of your success.
- 11:20I would never want to forget where I came from, some of my friends that grew up with me.
- 11:26I just wouldn't do that because that's who I am. But some people are not that
- 11:30same way once they get to the top.
- 11:32You know, just like some people leave a city. You know, they leave.
- 11:35These are rural areas where they grew up and they get in the cities.
- 11:38They never want to come back home. They don't even want to come back home to
- 11:42visit. Family, as a matter of fact, that's how some people live.
- 11:46Okay, so sometimes, guys, guess what?
- 11:50Success will sometimes reveal to you.
- 11:53And so that's what we're calling that because once they get to the top,
- 11:56they don't remember those that helped them walk away.
- 11:58You should never be able to deal with people who secretly compete with you.
- 12:03That's so true, Jobby. So big shout-out right now to everybody that's watching
- 12:07us tonight. We appreciate you guys that are tapping the screen.
- 12:11And shout-out to our top gifters. Guys, you know how J&B Live does it.
- 12:15We like to support our top gifters. So please follow our top gifters.
- 12:20We appreciate it so much. And we see y'all coming in. So thank you so much for joining us.
- 12:25Okay. So we're going to.
- 12:28Static. I hear a little static. Do you hear it? Yeah. Just, just.
- 12:33Yeah. Okay. It's gone now. Okay, guys. All right, guys. So keep tapping. It's great.
- 12:40We see y'all. Thank you, life. KM. Jolene.
- 12:46Thank you. Robert Price. We got Maria Love in the house.
- 12:50Connie Foster. Thank you guys for being a part of the J&B family.
- 12:54So tonight we're talking about that loyalty versus self-presentation.
- 13:01Okay, Procure J3.
- 13:04All right, let's get into it. You know, like Dr. B said, let's talk about that
- 13:09loyalty because it means something very different today than it did many years ago.
- 13:14Yeah, I still hear the static. Okay, guys, so many people have been hurt repeatedly,
- 13:19guys. This is why people are in the situation that they're in now.
- 13:23So now they choose self preservation over loyalty every single time because
- 13:30they're protecting themselves.
- 13:32And I really personally, I don't blame them.
- 13:35You know, some people say I owe nobody anything.
- 13:39You know, I have to protect myself first. You know, you hear people say that all the time.
- 13:45And that's how it comes. It might be a might brokerage a three-year-old.
- 13:49But at what point, guys, does self-respect become selfishness?
- 13:53I don't think it's against selfishness.
- 13:56I think you're just protecting yourself. And like I say, for me,
- 14:00that's no problem at all. Some people get to that point where,
- 14:03you know, they have to preserve and take care of themselves as far as being loyal to other people.
- 14:09And sometimes it can actually be dependent on the situation.
- 14:13You know, this is where relationships suffer. You know, everybody is focused
- 14:17on protecting themselves, but nobody wants to sacrifice anymore.
- 14:22That is so true. And then you have to think about commitment.
- 14:25Commitment requires vulnerability, guys. You have to be vulnerable at some time.
- 14:31Your friendship, every friendship that I've been in, there has to be trust because
- 14:35you have to trust those friends.
- 14:37Families require forgiveness. You know, we've had family members,
- 14:41we've hurt their feelings, they've hurt our feelings, but in the end,
- 14:45we always, I know my family is, we're still family, and that's what we do.
- 14:49We forgive each other, and we continue to love each other.
- 14:52Yet many people are refusing, all three, they are refusing the commitment,
- 14:57the friendship, and the forgiveness.
- 15:01But the question is, are people becoming emotionally stronger or emotionally colder?
- 15:09That's interesting. So let's get into this relationship and trust issues,
- 15:15this other scenario, Dobby. Let's get into it.
- 15:17Okay, guys. Imagine meeting someone who treats you really well.
- 15:22There's a lot of people out there that are just not starting a relationship.
- 15:26That person is treating you really nice by five spokeswaves.
- 15:30Man and woman doesn't battle. They can go, both can be treated really well.
- 15:34They communicate, they're getting along, they show consistency,
- 15:38and they genuinely care about each other.
- 15:40You know, you're feeling, you know, that person, they feel like they're in a
- 15:44meaningful relationship. You know, all is good. Everything good.
- 15:49Yeah, but because your last relationship, it hurts you deeply,
- 15:55you begin to question everything that this new person does.
- 16:00And you know what? Some people question it because they're saying to themselves,
- 16:03oh, this is too good to be true.
- 16:04You know, that's that old saying where something sounds too good to be true.
- 16:08It usually is. And so that's why people begin to question it.
- 16:11But, you know, then you guess what? You start to check the phones.
- 16:14You're questioning their intentions.
- 16:17You're over-analyzing their messages.
- 16:20And you accuse them before they've done anything wrong.
- 16:24That's right. And that new person, they didn't break your trust,
- 16:27but they are paying for what somebody else did.
- 16:30Absolutely. And this can become a problem today, guys.
- 16:35Thank you guys for your gifts. We appreciate it. Keep those gifts coming.
- 16:40Past pain is ruining future opportunities. People should stop making new people pay for old debt.
- 16:48In other words, the experiences that you had with that old person,
- 16:52you should not blame or take that into the new relationship.
- 16:58Okay, if you agree with that, guys, I want you to drop it in the chat, okay?
- 17:03So, guys, remember, healing, it really does matter before dating somebody again.
- 17:09Okay. And we have a comment that sometimes people do it after years of being
- 17:15together. That is so true, so true.
- 17:18And, you know, they're so accustomed to the way that they were being treated
- 17:22in that relationship that they take it into the old relationship.
- 17:26Okay, guys, so keep those comments coming.
- 17:29Remember, guys, your comments do affect the algorithm, and we do appreciate
- 17:34those comments, as well as the gifts.
- 17:37Drop us a heart, drop us your city and state, and let us know where you guys
- 17:41are timing in from, okay? And again, thank you again. So now,
- 17:44Broker J3, let's talk about did social media destroy trust?
- 17:49Yeah, of course it did. The unsocial media, it does all the time. The unsocial media.
- 17:54You know, I truly believe. I refer to Facebook as fake book.
- 17:59Yeah. You know, I truly believe that social media has completely changed how
- 18:04people trust one another.
- 18:06And like that can be a podcast literally in itself. We talked about it before
- 18:11on a couple of occasions, but in a different aspect.
- 18:15But talking about in regards to the trust, you know, it could be a whole new
- 18:20episode, Doc B, because so much distrust has come because of social media.
- 18:27Yeah, because social media, it creates a comparison culture because everybody's
- 18:32compared their lives to what they see on social media.
- 18:36The lifestyles that they see, like the lifestyle to the rich and famous,
- 18:40that's what you're seeing. So, you know, you think you want to have that as well.
- 18:44Also, the hidden conversations, and there are constant opportunities for deception online.
- 18:51So just because you see it online doesn't mean it's true.
- 18:54I remember there used to be a commercial, and it was talking about they heard
- 18:59it on some site or something.
- 19:01So they were implying that just because they heard it online that they're supposed
- 19:04to believe everything that they hear on that site. But that is not the case,
- 19:08guys. You cannot believe everything you hear, and you definitely can't believe everything you see.
- 19:13Yeah, that's funny because, you know, real quick, slightly off topic,
- 19:17but somewhat on topic.be, like they had on social media, you know,
- 19:22it could have been just a joke, which we already know.
- 19:25This past weekend, they was telling people that Chick-fil-A was giving free
- 19:29food on Father's Day to all of the fathers on Father's Day.
- 19:33Now, everybody out there know Chick-fil-A is closed on Sunday.
- 19:37So, you know, but imagine some of the people who may have thought that Chick-fil-A
- 19:41opened up just for Father's Day because of what they saw on social media.
- 19:46So, you know, the deception is just it's just really there.
- 19:50So, guys, relationships, they're ending, you know, over inbox messages.
- 19:56They're ending over screenshots.
- 19:58That they're ending over hidden followers and and the online attention seeking
- 20:04you know that's for the people you know a lot of times it's women let's be real
- 20:08you know that that that looking for that attention online especially by
- 20:12you know women are in relationships but yet
- 20:15they do these dances and provocative outfits just to get those likes and for
- 20:20the men to send gifts and and i I might have to do.
- 20:25A summer sundress episode on how women, young and old, it don't matter, it has no age.
- 20:33It has no gender. I'm sorry. It has no nationality. Let me change that.
- 20:39But, you know, soon as you open some of these sites, like I just opened up Beagle
- 20:43not too long ago because we're live on Beagle.
- 20:46Soon as it pops up, women got on all of this crazy stuff. and I'm saying to
- 20:51myself, why are you degrading yourself like this?
- 20:56I don't understand that concept. So, you know, social media has created some
- 21:01type of craziness where women have to feel like they have to get online and
- 21:06be seen in order to feel important.
- 21:11It just drives me crazy. Like I said, I'm going to have to do a sundress summer
- 21:15edition on that. So stay tuned for that, guys. But Just think about it.
- 21:20Social media give people unlimited access, but it has also removed accountability.
- 21:26So when these women are appearing on these different platforms,
- 21:30there's no accountability. Who are they accountable to?
- 21:33You know, and some of them don't even care if their family members see it.
- 21:36That's what I would be saying to myself.
- 21:37I wouldn't do it because I was. What if your mom sees it or your dad sees it? They don't care.
- 21:43No, they don't. And sometimes the technology makes communication easier,
- 21:47but trust so much harder.
- 21:50Yes, it does. Yes, it does. So guys, we've talked about everything.
- 21:53So now we want to talk about trust at the job. So we're going to talk about job loyalty.
- 21:58So we're going to shift to the work environment. Imagine giving 10 years to
- 22:03a company. You know, I was at my last job, I think it was 25 five years maybe total. You stay loyal.
- 22:11You work overtime. You train employees. You know, you can run the whole company
- 22:16really probably by yourself.
- 22:17And you sacrifice your family time.
- 22:20Yeah. And then one morning, the leadership changes. You know,
- 22:24somebody may buy the company and then suddenly you're laid off without even
- 22:29a warning after putting all those years of time in.
- 22:33Yeah, yeah. Hey, Mr. Alex, how are you doing this evening? Thank you for joining us.
- 22:38We also have Juan Ramirez. Thank you for joining us. Thank you guys for being
- 22:44a part. And Jazzy, hi. Thank you for being a part of the J&B family.
- 22:50Thank you guys for joining us this evening. Okay, guys, so let's think about this.
- 22:54The experience change, that particular experience when you get laid off,
- 22:58change is how people view loyalty
- 23:01forever. because you've been with that company, what, 25 years, right?
- 23:05So, you know, people now, they say never be loyal to companies because companies
- 23:10are not loyal to employees. You hear that all the time.
- 23:14Yeah, now that's something. Say that again, BrokerJay 3. I want everybody to hear that.
- 23:19You know, people say never be loyal to companies because companies are not loyal to employees.
- 23:27Oh, I've heard that so many times before. Thank you, Maria Love.
- 23:32Thank you for the gifts. Thank you for the hearts.
- 23:34Okay, guys, keep those hearts coming. Keep those gifts coming.
- 23:38Keep those comments coming, guys. Remember, the comments do affect the algorithm.
- 23:43So, like I said, I've heard that before about never being loyal to the company
- 23:48because they're not going to protect you in the long run.
- 23:50That mindset, guys, is going to spill over to other parts of your life.
- 23:54Some say to always protect yourself first.
- 23:58Not that company. Protect yourself first.
- 24:01That's right. Because, you know, companies, they teach us that loyalty means
- 24:05absolutely nothing. It's all about business now.
- 24:09Yeah, all about them dollars. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So big shout outs to all of
- 24:14our supporters tonight.
- 24:16As Dot B said, keep those shares coming. Keep those likes. Keep those gifts.
- 24:21We appreciate it. Thank you guys so much.
- 24:24Okay. So I like I'm so damn fine. Thank you. I like that username.
- 24:31Thank you, B-Web, M-Fun. Thank you for joining us.
- 24:35We've got Sharon Bass in the house. Thank you as well, guys.
- 24:39We appreciate you. So now let's talk about can trust ever be rebuilt?
- 24:44You know, you don't trust anybody at this point, you know, because of the way
- 24:48that the world is right now, you know, it's changed like different from what
- 24:52it was 10, maybe five years ago, it probably has changed, but definitely those
- 24:56of you a little bit older, maybe 20 years ago.
- 24:59So we're going to talk about how you can rebuild trust.
- 25:03Yeah. And, you know, Dr. B, you know, after trust has been broken,
- 25:08you know, it's hard for so many people for their trust to be rebuilt.
- 25:13So here's the big question.
- 25:15You know, can trust actually be
- 25:17rebuilt once, you know, society reaches a certain point where, you know.
- 25:22Almost nobody trusts anybody anymore. Anybody. Oh, guys, what do you think?
- 25:27Can you rebuild the trust?
- 25:29Have you ever been in a relationship with somebody where you didn't trust them?
- 25:33And then, you know, whether it be a relationship with a significant other or
- 25:37family or friends, do you think you can rebuild that trust? Drop it in the chat
- 25:41and let us know if you think you can rebuild the trust.
- 25:44Just simply say yes or simply say no, okay?
- 25:47I believe, me personally, believe that trust can be rebuilt over time.
- 25:52But people must become intentionally again. You have to intentionally work towards
- 25:59improving that relationship.
- 26:01Yeah. And you know, Doc B, that trust also requires consistency.
- 26:05You know, people watch actions now more than they do words.
- 26:11Yeah, yeah. And I think with requiring consistency means that you have to show
- 26:16up for that person, especially when you're trying to rebuild trust.
- 26:19Because if you're trying to and you're never there, you're never present,
- 26:23then it's going to be difficult to rebuild that trust.
- 26:26Now, remember, it's also going to be a healing process because trust does require healing.
- 26:32Hurt people often damage healthy relationships without even realizing that they've
- 26:37done so or that they're doing so.
- 26:39That is so true, Dr. P, because people have to stop punishing good people because
- 26:46people hurt them before.
- 26:50Because that bad person heard it. Oh, yeah. Okay. So rebuilding trust starts
- 26:54with accountability and emotional maturity or emotional maturity.
- 27:01I find this to be so true, guys, because as I mentioned earlier,
- 27:05when you're trying to rebuild trust, somebody has to be accountable for what
- 27:10went wrong or where it went left.
- 27:13And then, of course, you have to be emotional and work towards improving that
- 27:17relationship or rebuilding that trust.
- 27:20All right, Doc B, give us some final shout outs before you give us your final
- 27:24thoughts on tonight's podcast. Okay, guys.
- 27:26So, Cyril Mendoza, Perrin Jones-L, thank you for joining us.
- 27:32We got Diddy that's here with us as well.
- 27:35Issa Aikens, business-owned. Thank
- 27:38you for joining us. Thank you guys for being a part of the J&B family.
- 27:42Go ahead and drop your final comment as I prepare to gear my final thoughts.
- 27:47This has been an interesting topic. We're talking about why does nobody trust anybody anymore?
- 27:55And, you know, because of what's been happening in the world,
- 27:57you know, a lot of people have gotten to that point. Things have changed.
- 28:01OK, so trust is one of the most valuable things that human beings can exchange.
- 28:06Without trust, relationships fail, family divide, communities weaken and people
- 28:12begin leaving. You know, they start living in an emotional isolation because
- 28:17they can't trust nobody. They don't know who to trust, you know.
- 28:20Somewhere along the way, many people stop believing in one another. They lost that trust.
- 28:26But I also believe trust begins with individual choices.
- 28:30We must become honest again, consistent again, and intentional again.
- 28:37If society is going to heal from all of this mistrust, trust must return somewhere
- 28:42in all aspects of our lives.
- 28:45That's right, Dr. B. I totally agree with what you just said.
- 28:49All right, guys, here's my final thoughts on tonight's podcast.
- 28:54You know, I believe people have been so disappointed so much that survival mode has become normal.
- 29:03People no longer assume good intentions anymore. Everybody's watching motives.
- 29:08Everybody protects themselves. Everybody moves cautiously.
- 29:12You know, but I challenge people tonight to understand this.
- 29:17Not everybody is your enemy. Everybody will not betray you.
- 29:24Sometimes life will hurt us and make us build walls so high that good people cannot reach us.
- 29:33Maybe trust is not disappearing. Maybe people are just simply tired.
- 29:38But healing starts when we stop expecting everybody to hurt us.
- 29:44Yes, because that's not everybody's intention. There are still,
- 29:48and I personally think this broker J3, there are still some good people out there.
