- 0:03Speaker 1: of a caffeine fix from your local Night and Day
- 0:05Speaker 1: from just four dollars fifty welcomes. The Biggest Show is
- 0:10Speaker 1: our biggest show, biggest, biggest speak.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Show, which just nice and how good are you mad
- 0:19Speaker 2: Barstard's great if your company this Friday afternoon, the fifth
- 0:23Speaker 2: of July twenty twenty four, and you, my friends, and
- 0:26Speaker 2: listen to the Big Show brought to you by Night.
- 0:38Speaker 3: God. That was that was shit? How yeah?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I got myself in the wrong foot.
- 0:41Speaker 2: The easy it's my fault. Local foot are just another reminder.
- 0:46Speaker 2: No Mogi again today he's gone downhill again, unfortunately, and
- 0:50Speaker 2: hopefully the stallion will find his feet pretty soon and
- 0:54Speaker 2: get tickety boo in time for next week.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Ezy, that's right, Jason. You just saw Tommy on Wednesday
- 0:59Speaker 3: and some other stuff had and then you came back,
- 1:01Speaker 3: and then Mogi started to get a sore throat, and
- 1:02Speaker 3: today apparently he's even worse than Yes, his voice sounds
- 1:05Speaker 3: absolutely terrible. Hopefully Monday, yeah, he'll be back on Dick
- 1:09Speaker 3: on the other side of the coin. I'm looking at you, Keezy,
- 1:14Speaker 3: and you are just absolutely blooming at the moment, man,
- 1:18Speaker 3: and stop saying blooming. You're like, what a flower?
- 1:22Speaker 2: You're like? I was going to say, yes, a flower
- 1:24Speaker 2: unveiling itself in the sun. There's a radiance to you,
- 1:30Speaker 2: a cop shortness, a swagger even, and boy, oh boy,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I tell you what. Pug sound came up to me
- 1:38Speaker 2: before and he said, jeez keysy's in good forming knees
- 1:42Speaker 2: on fire. Yeah, and he said he's you know, his
- 1:45Speaker 2: cheeks are glowing. He's got a real strut and a stip.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Good on you man, what's going on?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Why are you in that place?
- 1:52Speaker 3: I lit some new pants and I just think they
- 1:55Speaker 3: look great and I'm feeling pretty cocksure as a result, right,
- 1:58Speaker 3: and I feel like I'm blooming.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh you see, that's the weird thing, because if I
- 2:02Speaker 2: because I saw your pants today and I thought of
- 2:04Speaker 2: anything that actually made you feel pretty embarrassing and humiliated.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Oh right, because what are they? Sort of baggy cargo
- 2:10Speaker 2: kind of weirdness.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Well, when I was about ten, I was wearing really
- 2:13Speaker 3: baggy jeans and they're now sort of back again, and
- 2:16Speaker 3: I remember absolutely loving them, and so got a free
- 2:19Speaker 3: pair of them, whacked them on today. Thought i'd have
- 2:21Speaker 3: a hoon on them and just see see how people
- 2:23Speaker 3: reacted to them. First of all, have a bit of
- 2:25Speaker 3: a strunt, Yeah, what do you think? Just have a
- 2:26Speaker 3: quick look at them.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Ridiculous. But having said that, you're looking great man. Apart
- 2:34Speaker 2: from your pants, thanks Jase, you look good too, man, Yeah, thanks, Bud.
- 2:38Speaker 3: It including your pants. So those are your wife's pants.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, these are my wife's pants. Again, So that's why
- 2:42Speaker 2: I look so good. Dallas and big showy head of course,
- 2:44Speaker 2: Hughes Friday, the Friday Tribe of the theme today's Sickness,
- 2:48Speaker 2: obviously because Maggie's sick, because we've all been sort of
- 2:51Speaker 2: under the weather. A bit of a waz chat.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Also, Jase, I've got some bad news around the batch trip.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to make it.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Oh God, really yeah, sorry man. Here's the Black Keys.
- 3:02Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 3:06Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 3:07Speaker 2: This is the need smashing pumpkins there on the radio
- 3:09Speaker 2: hoed Archy Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is
- 3:12Speaker 2: at eleven minutes past four o'clock. I forgot Keysy Friday
- 3:15Speaker 2: shout outs.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yeah, true.
- 3:17Speaker 2: So if you've got a Friday shout out, you want
- 3:18Speaker 2: to name someone who want us to get them to call,
- 3:20Speaker 2: say their names out in the radio text US three
- 3:23Speaker 2: four eight three.
- 3:24Speaker 3: That's right everyone. The text through in the draw for
- 3:25Speaker 3: a fifty dollars night and day voucher. Also, just something
- 3:28Speaker 3: to keep in mind. Today apparently busiest day for airports
- 3:32Speaker 3: because the school holiday starts tomorrow. Right, Okay, so if
- 3:34Speaker 3: you are planning on going to an airport, make sure
- 3:36Speaker 3: you leave nice and early.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, good, good call there, Keysy. Now listen, we don't
- 3:41Speaker 2: do the big pole all the time now, it's just
- 3:43Speaker 2: for special occasions. And two shocking things have happened over
- 3:47Speaker 2: the last couple of days, so we felt it prudent
- 3:50Speaker 2: to have a big pole. Let's get into it. The
- 3:52Speaker 2: big pole. And this is a bit different because it's
- 4:02Speaker 2: kind of a dual big pole, Kesy.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I think, I think you can have the main pole sure,
- 4:06Speaker 3: and I'll just have a little and I always have
- 4:10Speaker 3: and I'll have like a small pole afterwards as you do.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So we call it the big major pole and the
- 4:18Speaker 2: button mushroom pole.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I reckon, We just call it the big pole.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and the middle pole the little pole. Yeah. Sure.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Now a lot of you will be aware that our
- 4:27Speaker 2: listeners to the show and you go on our Instagram
- 4:29Speaker 2: and so forth that over the last couple of months,
- 4:31Speaker 2: I've been I've grown a bed.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Well it's a yeah. Is it a bed?
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, well, i'd call it a bed.
- 4:36Speaker 3: It's like a shadow. It's it's not short as short
- 4:39Speaker 3: as a shadow. No, but it's not like a thick,
- 4:41Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Having said that, I gave it a bit of a
- 4:43Speaker 2: trim yesterday. It has got quite bushy, and generally speaking,
- 4:48Speaker 2: the feedback I've got about my bed has been relatively positive.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Is that true? Yes, that's true. And then I had
- 4:54Speaker 2: a shocking situation happened yesterday while Kezy and I were
- 4:58Speaker 2: doing the show which didn't go to wear and Kesey
- 5:01Speaker 2: said to me, I hate you'll be here, Jace.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Don't he misquote what I said.
- 5:06Speaker 2: He stucked Jasa in my kidney and twisted it around
- 5:10Speaker 2: and I went, are you serious man? And he went, Jace,
- 5:14Speaker 2: I absolutely hate.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Jay You'll be here, Jace. I didn't stick my knife
- 5:19Speaker 3: into what's left of your kidney. What I said was,
- 5:22Speaker 3: to be honest, I probably prefer you without the beard.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Not that I really care though, as how I said
- 5:27Speaker 3: it because you asked us. You were like, fellers, what
- 5:29Speaker 3: do you think of my beard? Because I might have
- 5:30Speaker 3: to get rid of it for broken wood? And then
- 5:32Speaker 3: I said, to be honest, I prefer you with that one,
- 5:34Speaker 3: but I also don't care, right, And so you've taken
- 5:36Speaker 3: that very personally obviously quite self conscious about it now,
- 5:39Speaker 3: and you need the nation to back you up a
- 5:40Speaker 3: wee bit.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Right. Well, I went home to my wife last night
- 5:43Speaker 2: and I said, you know, God, Kesey hates my beard
- 5:45Speaker 2: and I've been I've had it for like two or
- 5:47Speaker 2: three months, and I had no idea he hated it
- 5:49Speaker 2: so much. And she was really upset with you. Actually, Keesy,
- 5:53Speaker 2: she was. She didn't call you last night, did she?
- 5:55Speaker 4: No?
- 5:55Speaker 3: She didn't.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That was weird, Yeah, because she normally calls you every
- 5:57Speaker 2: night after dinner and stuff.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Yeah, especially Thursday.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Um. So I thought to myself, Okay, well, I've got
- 6:03Speaker 2: to respect Kezy's opinion here, fair cop, fair cop. Yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 2: so we're going to put it to the people. Should
- 6:08Speaker 2: I get rid of the bed or not?
- 6:09Speaker 3: That's right. If you want to see a photo of it,
- 6:10Speaker 3: it is up on the Huducky Big shows Instagram story.
- 6:12Speaker 3: You can vote there. We're also working to put it
- 6:14Speaker 3: on the Facebook page too, just because not everyone has
- 6:16Speaker 3: Facebook Instagram. Sorry. And then there's a secondary pole.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, the button mushroom pole, and it's Kesey's new pants.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And I don't know how many poles we've had about
- 6:26Speaker 2: your pants, Keezy, but I think three or four.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Well, what's happened, Jason is I got quite self conscious
- 6:31Speaker 3: because a couple of months ago, you guys kept saying
- 6:33Speaker 3: I wear three quarter pants?
- 6:34Speaker 2: Well they were were they sort of?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they were like seven eighths white socks.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah. And so what I've done is go, oh, this
- 6:41Speaker 3: will show them I've got the baggiest jeans I can find.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I'm now wearing them and there's going to be my
- 6:45Speaker 3: new thing. So while you're doing the big pole, also
- 6:48Speaker 3: have we vote on the small pole. What's your what's
- 6:51Speaker 3: your gut feel here?
- 6:53Speaker 2: I'm going to say sixty forty years, get rid of
- 6:56Speaker 2: the bed. Yeah. And what's the question about your pants?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Do you like them or not? Yes or no?
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm going to say sixty forty years.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I'm going to say ninety five to five, get rid
- 7:07Speaker 3: of the Beard. Yeah, ninety five to five, Keep the
- 7:09Speaker 3: Pants Beautiful.
- 7:11Speaker 1: The Whoikey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Take there on the radio. Ho Donkey Big Show this
- 7:18Speaker 2: Friday afternoon, twenty three minutes past four o'clock. A few
- 7:22Speaker 2: shout outs there, Keezy on three four eight three.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a big shout out Friday. Send them through
- 7:26Speaker 3: on three for three. You could win yourself fifty on
- 7:28Speaker 3: a night and day voucher. Shout out to Benjamin Grant
- 7:31Speaker 3: for being a slab charging backbone. Yeah nice, so good.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Slab Friday, isn't it. It's always slab Friday, is it? Yeah? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 2: anyone gets a slab.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I thought it was big shout out Friday.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Well it can be big shout out Friday and slack Friday.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That's pretty full line bagot Monday. Oh yeah true tenor
- 7:49Speaker 2: neck Tuesday?
- 7:49Speaker 3: Remember that. Yeah, it was so good. Big shout out
- 7:52Speaker 3: to Luke bidwind Ferrell. A shout out to Andy Thwaite
- 7:58Speaker 3: from Obarn and Scottland, who's doing a swell job.
- 8:01Speaker 2: So he is great stuff for mate coming on three
- 8:05Speaker 2: four eight three. Remember everyone that texts through goes in
- 8:09Speaker 2: the jaw for a fifty dollar. Hey, Nois and kiss,
- 8:14Speaker 2: I wanted to use your expertise. Oh right, and it's
- 8:18Speaker 2: about social media, you know, and I I guess it's
- 8:23Speaker 2: fair to say you and I are different generations. Yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 2: I mean it's fair to say. Yeah, I mean we're
- 8:29Speaker 2: pretty close in age. But because I'm a generation, I'm
- 8:32Speaker 2: a millennial.
- 8:33Speaker 3: What are you?
- 8:34Speaker 2: I don't know, jin a Now we are, we're you know,
- 8:39Speaker 2: and the whole social media thing, you know, your insters,
- 8:43Speaker 2: your tech talks and all that sort of stuff. And
- 8:45Speaker 2: I'll be honest with you, man, I'm not I'm not
- 8:47Speaker 2: down on that sort of stuff too much. I don't
- 8:50Speaker 2: get into it big time, like I'll have a browse
- 8:53Speaker 2: or something like that. But there's a bit of a
- 8:55Speaker 2: phenomenon going on at the moment that I wanted you
- 8:58Speaker 2: to explain to me, if you could take the time
- 8:59Speaker 2: to do it right. Okay, what the hell is this
- 9:02Speaker 2: whole hot tour thing?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Ah, hot hot tour?
- 9:08Speaker 2: What yeah about? I know?
- 9:09Speaker 3: Okay, all right, so here's the audio for people that
- 9:13Speaker 3: don't know. Given that hot spit on that thing.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That yeah yeah, hot tour spin on that thing, yeah
- 9:23Speaker 2: yeah yeah yeah. So why is that going off? What
- 9:26Speaker 2: is it about it? So?
- 9:27Speaker 3: What Basically there was a really funny like she would
- 9:30Speaker 3: have been in the early twenties or something. This check
- 9:33Speaker 3: was being interviewed on social media, this young woman. This
- 9:35Speaker 3: young woman was being interviewed on social media, and her
- 9:39Speaker 3: response to a question was as what you just heard
- 9:41Speaker 3: hot tur and spin on that thing?
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:43Speaker 3: And she sounded so funny, you know what I mean
- 9:46Speaker 3: that it's become a bit of a viral sensation.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So what's the things she's spinning on? Though? Is what
- 9:49Speaker 2: I can understand? Is that just is it just spit
- 9:52Speaker 2: or hot? Do spin on that thing? So the hot
- 9:56Speaker 2: tour is spinning. But what's the thing though? That's what
- 10:00Speaker 2: I don't get.
- 10:00Speaker 3: It's a thang, yeah you know, yeah, like spit on
- 10:03Speaker 3: that thing?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So it's nothing specifically, No, it.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Is right, like surely you know, surely you know what
- 10:10Speaker 3: it is that she's.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Well, no, That's why I'm asking you the question, Kesy,
- 10:14Speaker 2: because I don't get the whole hock tour. I mean,
- 10:16Speaker 2: I get hop tour that you're spinding, but sped on
- 10:19Speaker 2: that fang is what I don't get. What are they
- 10:21Speaker 2: spedding on? Are they spinning on the person another person.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, another person, Yeah yeah, that's right.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, well in their face or something.
- 10:29Speaker 3: No, no, not not on the not on the fact,
- 10:32Speaker 3: not on the head. But well, kind.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I just don't understand why, I know, yeah, why it's
- 10:39Speaker 2: such a big thing. But it's just someone spading on
- 10:42Speaker 2: that fane.
- 10:45Speaker 3: You know, like that downstairs dang you know what I mean? Downstairs,
- 10:50Speaker 3: the downstairs you know that, than to spit on that thing, Jase?
- 10:56Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Are you Jase?
- 11:00Speaker 2: You know?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Hoted her? You know that thing?
- 11:04Speaker 2: So the hot dour, Yeah, spend on that thing.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Is there spending on you on your downstairs?
- 11:11Speaker 3: That's right?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, why would they do that?
- 11:16Speaker 1: The Hdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Hod Chemical Brothers. There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 11:22Speaker 2: this Friday afternoon, thirty five minutes past four o'clock. If
- 11:25Speaker 2: you're just joining us, no Mogi at the moment, he's
- 11:28Speaker 2: still a little bit crook. Hopefully you'll get himself right
- 11:30Speaker 2: over the weekend. Their keysy, you'd join the team next week?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I reckon he will. He's pretty tough, old Mogi.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Lots of shoutouts coming in on three four eight three
- 11:38Speaker 3: for shout out Friday. Shout out to Rob and Missy
- 11:41Speaker 3: from Rage Nice. That is nice. Shout out to Phoebe
- 11:46Speaker 3: she is an awesome mum. Keep it up.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Whatever, what do you mean?
- 11:49Speaker 3: What do you mean? Whatever? I think that's nice.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's a bit earnest for my life. I mean, right,
- 11:54Speaker 2: you know this is the thing you see keys, Ye,
- 11:56Speaker 2: mums get so much credit. What about the dads? Man?
- 11:59Speaker 2: I bus said my ass for my kids. Yeah, but
- 12:03Speaker 2: they love their mum more. You know. Mogi goes on
- 12:05Speaker 2: about it all the time, and he's right. You know,
- 12:07Speaker 2: the kids love the mum.
- 12:09Speaker 3: But have you met his wife? She's great, she's lovely,
- 12:11Speaker 3: Yeah she is. Yeah, I've met your wife. She's lovely
- 12:14Speaker 3: as well.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Have you met my wife? Exactly?
- 12:17Speaker 2: So she is so lovely.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Hey, Jay's big Warriors game this week and should we
- 12:23Speaker 3: get into it?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:23Speaker 3: Man, time to chat footy.
- 12:26Speaker 5: With me, Keezy.
- 12:29Speaker 3: One are the Warriors up to? Now?
- 12:32Speaker 2: I'm pretty excited about this, actually, Keezy, because find out
- 12:35Speaker 2: I can get a word in edgeways now that Mogi's
- 12:37Speaker 2: not here, because he just bangs on whenever we talk
- 12:39Speaker 2: about the Warriors and Hoidy Jay, who I might add,
- 12:43Speaker 2: has pretty much predicted every matchless season for the Warriors.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Well, you just predicted a lot.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Never never given it, you know, never get a word in.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Edgeways, right, Well, what's your vibe on this game against
- 12:53Speaker 3: the Bulldogs?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Well, this is the thing to remember. Out the Bulldogs
- 12:56Speaker 2: started off very poorly in the season. They're really hitting
- 12:59Speaker 2: their straps now. The defensive team our second best in
- 13:02Speaker 2: the competition. Oh, the second best Panthers of course. So
- 13:07Speaker 2: it's going to be a tough match home game for them,
- 13:10Speaker 2: of course, but the Warrior is once again showing glimmers
- 13:12Speaker 2: of hope. They need to win seven of the last nine,
- 13:15Speaker 2: that's tool order, but I believe they can do it.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Keasy, you're amazing. I am Jason.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Jam a waws man through and through. I bleed, I
- 13:24Speaker 2: bleed wah bleed wars.
- 13:27Speaker 3: You are so amazing your ability to ask me questions
- 13:29Speaker 3: about the Warriors throughout the week and then store them
- 13:32Speaker 3: all away and then just say them all when we're
- 13:34Speaker 3: on air.
- 13:36Speaker 2: That's my own investigator.
- 13:38Speaker 3: That the interesting thing about this very game is, and
- 13:41Speaker 3: this is genuinely interesting, Jason, don't do that thing you
- 13:43Speaker 3: do with your glaze over when we're having rugby League.
- 13:47Speaker 3: The Panthers, right, best team of the last decade, to
- 13:49Speaker 3: be honest.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Longer, Yeah, that won't been silent for sure.
- 13:52Speaker 3: One of the most dominant teams in history. You've got
- 13:54Speaker 3: Ivan Cleary as the coach. His two coaches underneath him
- 13:58Speaker 3: were Cameron Siraldo, who's the coach of the Bulldogs, and
- 14:02Speaker 3: Andrew Webster, who's the coach of the Warriors. Wow, that've
- 14:04Speaker 3: since gone off started their own teams. Last year Siraldo
- 14:07Speaker 3: took over the Bulldogs, they went terrible. I think they
- 14:10Speaker 3: were pretty much second to last or something. They started
- 14:13Speaker 3: terrible this season, However, in the last sort of ten
- 14:15Speaker 3: games they have up to their defense massively. That all
- 14:19Speaker 3: the way up in fifth on the ladder. To be honest,
- 14:21Speaker 3: if you'd asked me, I would say, oh, they might
- 14:22Speaker 3: be like ninth that fifth, which is ridiculous. And it's
- 14:26Speaker 3: basically to see who was the better person to get
- 14:29Speaker 3: Sirraldo or Andrew Webster. I think it's Webster, although it's
- 14:33Speaker 3: going to be bloody tough to get past that extraordinary defense.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Jason, Yeah, well, were are the Wars They're thirteenth. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: think somewhere around there.
- 14:41Speaker 3: The Warriors on the ladder are currently fourteenth, fourteenth because
- 14:45Speaker 3: of last night's game, well wherebe of course, great debut
- 14:48Speaker 3: season last year for the boys, getting them into the
- 14:50Speaker 3: semis there, so that was a great achievement.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I still believe they're going to pull it off, mate,
- 14:54Speaker 2: pull what off? Oh no, hang on, that's the wrong context.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 2: The wind, the wind.
- 15:01Speaker 3: So you think the Warrior is gonna beat the Bulldogs?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Yes? I do.

- 27:38Speaker 3: Yeah? Well look, I mean we've been, you know, even
- 27:41Speaker 3: while we're off here just before, we're spitballing ideas around
- 27:44Speaker 3: what we were going to be doing while we're at
- 27:45Speaker 3: the beach. No, spitballing ideas about what we're going to
- 27:50Speaker 3: be doing while we're at the beach. And to be honest,
- 27:53Speaker 3: I've been thinking about some of them. Well one in particular,
- 27:56Speaker 3: I'm just not super comfortable with what you guys are
- 27:59Speaker 3: playing to do. I'm just I just I thought about it.
- 28:01Speaker 3: It makes me I'm not comfortable with it. Oh so

- 28:22Speaker 2: Sure, No, it wasn't. Sure.
- 28:24Speaker 3: You know, it's the more sort of ratenish stuff that
- 28:27Speaker 3: we were discussing off are right, you know, the sort
- 28:30Speaker 3: of it's not the kind of stuff you can really
- 28:33Speaker 3: say on the radio. You pick it up when I
- 28:37Speaker 3: put it down there, flowers.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Not really keasy. No, I mean what.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Literally yesterday, Okay, fine, I'm just gonna say that. Yesterday
- 28:47Speaker 3: you said, you know, what are we going to do,
- 28:49Speaker 3: you know, on the Friday night yere and you were like, well,
- 28:51Speaker 3: what we could all do is jump in my car
- 28:53Speaker 3: and then we'll hea the and then on the way
- 28:54Speaker 3: to the batch, we'll stop, we'll pick up a couple
- 28:56Speaker 3: of hot checks. And I was like, oh cool when
- 28:59Speaker 3: I was playing a lot, that's cool. And then I've
- 29:02Speaker 3: been thinking about it overnight and I'm just like, you know,
- 29:04Speaker 3: I don't know if that is cool. Well, I don't
- 29:06Speaker 3: know who these hot checks are. I don't know what
- 29:08Speaker 3: the what the dealers, I don't know what you're thinking
- 29:10Speaker 3: jas But To be honest, I'm just not comfortable with it.
- 29:13Speaker 3: I don't know. Pugs is probably all over it, you
- 29:15Speaker 3: know what I mean. But what I'm just not I
- 29:18Speaker 3: just don't think I can do it.
- 29:20Speaker 2: You mean the hot chucks?
- 29:24Speaker 3: Oh, like roast chucks? Oh for dinner?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, with the with the white bread and the coleslaw.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Is that what you mean?
- 29:32Speaker 2: And just to clarify, by the way, it was only
- 29:34Speaker 2: Pugs on one of the hot checks.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I'm so sorry. I thought, yeah, okay.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Geez, so, yeah, we're going to stop at the supermarket
- 29:44Speaker 2: there and get a couple of hot chuck. Yeah, get
- 29:46Speaker 2: a couple.

- 29:55Speaker 3: was just thought about it overnight and I said yes
- 29:57Speaker 3: at the time.
- 29:57Speaker 2: But well, you know, having said that, I mean you can,
- 29:59Speaker 2: Pugs and go to the supermarket and pick up people?
- 30:02Speaker 3: I can?
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean you could pretty full car. If

- 30:13Speaker 3: I'll definitely can't.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Well as I say, like he said, he he's getting

- 34:41Speaker 3: I need a coffee. Yes, four dollars fifty. That's the
- 34:44Speaker 3: cheapest coffee around. Yeah, it is actually hell of a caffeine.
- 34:47Speaker 3: But it's cheap.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Doesn't mean it's not good.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Though, Jays. It's barista mate. Yeah, it's really good that
- 34:51Speaker 3: trained And if you get a coffee card, every sixth
- 34:54Speaker 3: coffee is free. And don't forget Pugstun specialists. On this week.
- 34:56Speaker 3: You walk in there, you say you want the pug
- 34:58Speaker 3: Stan Special for twelve you get two jumbo boxes of Connies,

- 35:11Speaker 3: Sticky beef on rice. Sorry, that's right. And also you

- 35:25Speaker 2: today on the Big Show outro, which is bonus material.
- 35:29Speaker 2: We do a sort of separate podcast. It was a
- 35:31Speaker 2: bit of a mental health discussion, really, wasn't it, Keysy.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I was thinking we could call it the her of
- 35:36Speaker 3: the Mood Special.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Sure.
- 35:38Speaker 3: And here's a little clip of Jase talking about at
- 35:40Speaker 3: one time he got into a her of a mood.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I was in an amazingly good mood. Yeah, And by
- 35:47Speaker 2: the time I'd finished chopping the onion, for no reason whatsoever,
- 35:54Speaker 2: I was confuming. Right, don't even know what that was. Yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 2: we were talking about how changeable our emotions are.
- 36:07Speaker 3: But so that was you saying that you're in a
- 36:09Speaker 3: great mood you cut an onion. By the end of
- 36:11Speaker 3: cutting the onion, you were human.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Yeah, for no reason. I went from a really good
- 36:15Speaker 2: mood and in the time it took me to cut
- 36:17Speaker 2: an onion, I was fuman.
- 36:18Speaker 3: How long did you take to cut the onion? Oh?
- 36:22Speaker 2: Couple of hours?
- 36:25Speaker 3: Hey? Up next the results of the Big Pole get
- 36:27Speaker 3: voting Hdaki Big Show's Instagram story and we'll get into
- 36:29Speaker 3: that next.
- 36:30Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 36:34Speaker 1: in week.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Four on Radio Yeah sublime there on the Radio Hodaki
- 36:39Speaker 2: Big Show. But right now, this is breaking news.
- 36:46Speaker 3: It is breaking news of the Wahs variety big exclusion
- 36:51Speaker 3: from tomorrow's game against the Cannery Bulldogs at five pm.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Tahu Harris, he's been ruled out of recently, he's been
- 36:57Speaker 3: playing forty fifty minutes off the bench, which I've and loving.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Turns out the reason for this is because in round
- 37:03Speaker 3: seven he had a wrist injury. He injured his rest.
- 37:06Speaker 3: He's been playing with it injured.
- 37:08Speaker 2: All year, as you should.
- 37:10Speaker 3: As you should, however, his strapping has gotten larger and
- 37:13Speaker 3: larger until he's basically out there with a cast. So
- 37:15Speaker 3: that decide to give him the week off, maybe another
- 37:17Speaker 3: week as well. Not sure how long will be with that, Tahu,
- 37:19Speaker 3: but that's a pretty big out.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he's replacing him, I.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Don't know, probably Jacob Laburn type chap oh yeah, or
- 37:29Speaker 3: maybe a Dylan Walker to be honest, he's been coming
- 37:30Speaker 3: off the bench anyway yet. But his role in first receiver,
- 37:34Speaker 3: and you know he's so vital on that link play, Jason,
- 37:36Speaker 3: as you were saying earlier. Yet that having a dodgy rest,
- 37:39Speaker 3: you know, it's just it's the worst possible spot.
- 37:41Speaker 2: All right, Well, let's get to the results of the
- 37:43Speaker 2: big poles shall we.
- 37:44Speaker 4: You don't want to do more League chat Nah Big Pole,
- 37:55Speaker 4: the main pole, the bigig Pole, the big pole for today.
- 37:58Speaker 3: We did two poles, by the way, and you can
- 38:00Speaker 3: vote on both at the Hodoch your Big Shows Instagram story.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Jason's Beard Yes or No? Now this was because I
- 38:05Speaker 3: made a passing comment the other day, so you hated it? No,
- 38:08Speaker 3: I see it. To be honest, I prefer you without
- 38:10Speaker 3: a beard. That you hated it, and but like this
- 38:13Speaker 3: is just me preferring you without a bid. What does
- 38:15Speaker 3: that matter? I'm just your co host, you know what
- 38:16Speaker 3: I mean?
- 38:16Speaker 2: Well, your opinion matters to me. Kezy.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Well, look I'm so specially if you hate it, well,
- 38:20Speaker 3: I don't hate it. Yeah, I hate it. I hate
- 38:23Speaker 3: your beard. The people have voted, though, Jace Jason's beard
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yes or no? Yes, seventy six percent. Oh so you
- 38:31Speaker 3: can walk around positively knowing that only one in four
- 38:34Speaker 3: people hate your beard, but three out of the four
- 38:39Speaker 3: love And that's only one million people that don't like it. Okay, nice,
- 38:42Speaker 3: So that's pretty good odds. Let's get to the button
- 38:44Speaker 3: Mushroom pole. The second pole, the bonus pole, was Kesey's
- 38:48Speaker 3: new Beggy pants I get a lot of shit for
- 38:50Speaker 3: having three quarter gene, so I decided to just go
- 38:52Speaker 3: the opposite way, get really baggy ones. What do you
- 38:55Speaker 3: think the result was for that? So what was the
- 38:57Speaker 3: question Kesey's new Beggy pants or no?
- 39:00Speaker 2: No? Would be seventy percent no, sixty six percent right, Okay,
- 39:05Speaker 2: So that means I walk out in public right now
- 39:07Speaker 2: two thirds of everyone hate you my pants.
- 39:10Speaker 3: So just another great poll that's always good for your
- 39:12Speaker 3: sort of self confidence.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, it's so good.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Don't forget you can vote Hudaki Big Show on the
- 39:18Speaker 3: Instagram story good stuff, mate.
- 39:20Speaker 1: The hod Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 39:24Speaker 1: and Keezy the dude'.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Zia on the radio, hold Aky Big Show this Friday evening.
- 39:29Speaker 2: As we near the end of the show heading into
- 39:32Speaker 2: the weekend. God, I'm still fizzing about the rugby keysy. Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Man, it's so good.
- 39:36Speaker 2: It's so good. I feel so good about the fact
- 39:38Speaker 2: that I've reached a place again where I'm looking forward
- 39:40Speaker 2: to an all black Test match.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Like, genuinely, how long has it been.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It's been years. It's been like half five years, six
- 39:47Speaker 2: years since I've really looked forward to a Test match,
- 39:50Speaker 2: apart from like a World Cup final or something like that.
- 39:52Speaker 2: The rest I'm like, yeah, I don't really care.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Even World Cups now don't do it for me. Sure,
- 39:57Speaker 3: that's probably because I went at Sky Sport for ages.
- 39:59Speaker 3: But I remember a time when I was a youngster
- 40:00Speaker 3: and you'd wake up at three am, mate and watch
- 40:03Speaker 3: the South Africa games.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Me and my mates. That's what we lived for, All
- 40:06Speaker 2: Black you know over in Wales at three o'clock in
- 40:09Speaker 2: the morning, we'd go out clubbing all night, get on
- 40:11Speaker 2: at Big Time, come back and watch an all Black
- 40:14Speaker 2: Test match against Wales at three am. Hey, but right
- 40:17Speaker 2: now it's time for what's on the telly with Mike Minogue.
- 40:30Speaker 2: We didn't do it easy.
- 40:32Speaker 3: I was hoping that you would do it, that you'd
- 40:34Speaker 3: forget right and then do it, and then I'd be like, hey,
- 40:36Speaker 3: Jay's not doing it.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Suck on that. Mogi.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Mogi, huh, what.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Are you going to do about a pow?
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:42Speaker 2: Over there in your little cook come on pow anytime.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Yeah, put your little office a Moogi uniform on and
- 40:49Speaker 3: come over.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Here and yeah and try and sort us out. Mogi
- 40:52Speaker 2: lose goh so good?
- 40:56Speaker 3: Yeah, man, we showed him.
- 40:57Speaker 2: We're going to make sure we do it when he
- 40:58Speaker 2: gets back in there.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Actually, Pugs, can you hit that but out?
- 41:01Speaker 2: That'll be good. I don't want them to actually hear that.
- 41:04Speaker 2: That'd be good. Hey, what did I watch last night?
- 41:07Speaker 2: The final episode of Hey put on like a Summer?
- 41:10Speaker 2: That's all right?
- 41:11Speaker 3: Because I don't know.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Pugs has given me that look against Showgun.
- 41:15Speaker 3: So why is it okay for you to say it
- 41:16Speaker 3: like that?
- 41:17Speaker 2: Well, because that's how they say it on the show.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Is it okay?
- 41:20Speaker 3: I don't know, Hey, like a Summer?
- 41:23Speaker 2: That's that's not I'm not going to get kicked out
- 41:26Speaker 2: for that, am I? And I'm not gonna have to
- 41:28Speaker 2: leave the studio again.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Any Pugs, can you hit that but out as well?
- 41:32Speaker 3: Just in case?
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yeah, could you do that? Pugs? Just be just to
- 41:34Speaker 2: be good. But I'll tell you what I was talking
- 41:36Speaker 2: to you about it as we were walking to the
- 41:37Speaker 2: car last night, Kezi. What I love about Showgun is
- 41:40Speaker 2: it makes me love the Japanese culture so much.
- 41:43Speaker 3: It is a magnificent.
- 41:44Speaker 2: It is so dignified and honorable and clean and ordered,
- 41:49Speaker 2: and I think, you know, I look at the way
- 41:51Speaker 2: I lived my life I reckon, I'm like half Japanese.
- 41:54Speaker 3: I don't think you are.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I reckon, I've got those sort of vibes.
- 41:58Speaker 3: You don't have Japanese vibes. Pug Sun does.
- 42:00Speaker 2: And I would look good in a robe, you know
- 42:02Speaker 2: what I mean. Don't get me wrong. Punch Art he is.
- 42:05Speaker 2: He is ninety percent Japanese.
- 42:07Speaker 3: I am actually one sixteenth Japanese. Oh yeah, no, sorry,
- 42:11Speaker 3: one eighth Jase. I watched the movie you told me
- 42:14Speaker 3: that you loved last night. Oh yes, sea Biscuit, Yeah, Seabiscuit.
- 42:20Speaker 3: That's the one you said, ah with the horses, ah.
- 42:23Speaker 2: The horse pawn one. Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Yeah, so yeah it was okay, yeah, pretty full on.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Like I didn't really get into it as much as
- 42:30Speaker 3: you were going on about it on the way to
- 42:32Speaker 3: the car last night. Sure, yeah, yeah, so I only
- 42:35Speaker 3: watched like twenty minutes of it, if I'm honest.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Well that's all you need, isn't it.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Yeah it is Seabiscuit, right, yeah, Seabiscuit.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Oh no, so you told me to watch Soggy Biscuit,
- 42:47Speaker 3: my vet. Sorry, I've watched the wrong movie, Jays because
- 42:49Speaker 3: it was boring. I had Toby Maguire and Jeff Bridges,
- 42:52Speaker 3: and I was like, oh, this is okay, all right, Yes,
- 42:54Speaker 3: I'll watch the other one tonight.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Soggy Biscuit. Yeah, you won't even last ten minutes on
- 42:58Speaker 2: that one.
- 43:00Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Ikey, aren't there on the radio Holdankee Big Show. Now listen,
- 43:08Speaker 2: Beer and Pie July. It's going off a lot of
- 43:11Speaker 2: people sending in their recipes for the ultimate Pie Keysy.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Sure jays, all right, pigs Radio Hodarkeys and Beer and
- 43:19Speaker 1: Pie July.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Yes, indeed. And I've made a vow, actually, I've made
- 43:24Speaker 2: a promise that if I see a recipe in there
- 43:26Speaker 2: that really tickles my fancy, I'm gonna make it tickles
- 43:30Speaker 2: your What tickles my fancy? Oh?
- 43:32Speaker 3: Your fancy?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, what did you think? I said?
- 43:35Speaker 3: No, it's all good. So if you want to nominate
- 43:37Speaker 3: a flavor of pie, text the word pie three four
- 43:41Speaker 3: eight three all right, follow the link for that the
- 43:43Speaker 3: form chuck your favorite flavor in there, and we could
- 43:45Speaker 3: actually take that flavor and turn it into a genuine
- 43:48Speaker 3: Holduku pie later this year thanks to Dad's Pies, and
- 43:51Speaker 3: you could win five thousand dollars. So pie to three
- 43:54Speaker 3: four eight three, get stuck in. Got a few suggestions here?
- 43:56Speaker 3: How do you j try the's on for size?
- 43:58Speaker 2: All right?

- 43:58Speaker 2: Yeah? Man?
- 43:59Speaker 3: You sure?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah? Yes?
- 44:01Speaker 3: Whoa mushroom fetter and broccoli? Right across that one off
- 44:08Speaker 3: the list, maple bacon and beef sausage. Have you had
- 44:14Speaker 3: maple bacon before?
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yes?
- 44:15Speaker 9: I have.
- 44:15Speaker 3: It's quite nice.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good. It's good.
- 44:18Speaker 3: I don't know about it in a pie though, you know.
- 44:20Speaker 2: And sausage. It's got to have some sort of gelatinous
- 44:23Speaker 2: gravy action going on there too to make that work.
- 44:26Speaker 2: But it could work, It could work.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Could work. Right, Maybe what about this one here? Watercress
- 44:31Speaker 3: and bacon bone? Does that sound good?
- 44:36Speaker 2: No?
- 44:37Speaker 3: No, okay, across that one off as well.
- 44:39Speaker 2: I've suddenly had a vision of Shirizzo.
- 44:42Speaker 3: That's funny you say that. How about this a pie?
- 44:44Speaker 3: A pie like a Spanish paea, So that would have chicken, muscle, smoke, paprika,
- 44:51Speaker 3: caramelized something because they wrote so much, and also Shirizzo. Yes,
- 44:55Speaker 3: that'll be young.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's got potential. Actually, yeah, do you want rice
- 44:59Speaker 2: in your pie? That's the only thing, KIZI.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think It's like a risotto e thing, isn't it. Yes, yeah,
- 45:06Speaker 3: I'll be down for that. I'm not fussy at all.
- 45:08Speaker 3: I know that Nacho's pine.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Pineapple man, pineapple man. Yeah. Well you like your ham
- 45:14Speaker 2: and pineapple pizza.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Hawaiian pizza man?
- 45:18Speaker 8: Ah?
- 45:18Speaker 3: What was that Nacho's pie? So mince with beans and

- 45:31Speaker 3: Okay, potential h confie of garlic potato tops, slow cooked
- 45:37Speaker 3: goat goat and a red wine rosemary jew.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Yeah. You see, that's getting more towards what I'm into.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I want a bit of sophistication in my pie, right,
- 45:48Speaker 2: not just your mince and cheese filth. All right?

- 46:31Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Well, yeah, and look, full disclosure. I'm not here Monday,
- 46:35Speaker 3: your Tuesday, Yes, because my nana passed away. I gotta
- 46:39Speaker 3: take her into a full Mauli funeral with her man.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Sorry to hear that.
- 46:42Speaker 3: That's all right, it's gonna be cool. My wife gets
- 46:44Speaker 3: to sleep the night in a madeia for the first time. Awesome,
- 46:47Speaker 3: she's never done that before.
- 46:48Speaker 2: That is awesome.
- 46:49Speaker 3: And I was like, look, full disclosure. I've got a
- 46:51Speaker 3: lot of cousins who'll be there, and at least seventy
- 46:54Speaker 3: percent of my uncle's will be on one of those
- 46:55Speaker 3: sleep apnear machines. Right, Okay, bring here, plugs, sleep drops,

- 47:07Speaker 2: sure she will.
- 47:08Speaker 3: What are you doing this weekend?
- 47:09Speaker 2: Well, look, I'm gonna look after my beleagued family. They're
- 47:12Speaker 2: all under the gun at the moment as well a
- 47:14Speaker 2: bit of test match action. We've had something put up
- 47:17Speaker 2: on our wall, like a massive sort of book well
- 47:19Speaker 2: kind of a bookcasey ornamente thing, so we've got to
- 47:22Speaker 2: rearrange all the art in our room. I might do
- 47:24Speaker 2: the lawns right. You know what I want is just
- 47:27Speaker 2: have a normal weekend. We had such a shocker for
- 47:29Speaker 2: the long weekend, Knjie. I want some balance of normality
- 47:33Speaker 2: in my life again.
- 47:34Speaker 3: It sounds like you wanted just a nice constructive weekend. Yes,
- 47:37Speaker 3: without everyone just completely full of sickness and ailments.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, mat exactly, but listen, there's been a pleasure
- 47:44Speaker 2: bringing you the show this week. We'll do our best.
- 47:46Speaker 2: We'll see where we wash up next week. But hopefully
- 47:49Speaker 2: we'll get together soon enough. But until then, you take
- 47:52Speaker 2: care out there and we'll see you later.
