It's time to chase the magic. ⁓ Apologies to everybody who listened last week if you were just listening to me talk to myself. We're having, well okay, we're having technical difficulties when we have to record virtually. we'll see, which we are doing again tonight. Lindee: I think it's hilarious. and our schedules are both getting increasingly busy. Chasing The Magic: Yeah, yeah, so. Lindee: anything ⁓ new on the wedding front Chasing The Magic: It's time for making memories and dreaming like daddies. ⁓ yeah, I was gonna see what you're doing Sunday, actually. ⁓ As long as the invitations come in I was gonna see if you and Olivia wanted to come over to my mom's house so we could just stuff and stamp invitations so they can just go ahead and get sent out because That needs to happen. I had a coordinator meeting today She helped like with the day of schedule which helped a lot because I was looking at it for the DJ and I was like, I don't know Yeah, so so yeah but besides like Lindee: Okay, that's what you were stressed about. Did she help with the... the getting ready stuff. Chasing The Magic: Which one? No. Lindee: Okay, so I still need to work on that. Chasing The Magic: She kind of just helped with what time a photographer would get there and stuff like that. So, which kind of helps with what time we need to be done. But before we even, like I still have to contact the church and see what time they want me there. Cause she was like, most Catholic churches, once you, they're an hour before the ceremony starts. And I was like, there's nowhere for me to go in that Catholic church. So like, I'd just be sitting in the car. So we got to, I got to contact them and ask them what exactly their rules are to see what the day of looks like more. Lindee: Mm-hmm. Chasing The Magic: So, but I feel a little bit better talking to her. We started our pre-marital council through the church. So I just, feels like things like it is gonna get busier because there's a lot to do, but it just, also feels like. It's getting started, so I don't feel stressed that it's not happening. know? If that makes sense. Lindee: Everything's rolling. Chasing The Magic: Everything's rolling. That's what I needed to get everything rolling. yeah. So once the invitation should be here tomorrow, and then I was gonna text everyone and be like, who wants to go to my mom's and stuff invitation? So. Lindee: Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I mean, I don't think we're doing anything. Chasing The Magic: But yeah. Lindee: I don't know, I can't keep anything straight lately. Chasing The Magic: Yeah. ⁓ do you know what I just found out? I was watching the Tik Tok and our park hours aren't released yet, but because of where we're staying, we can get extended hours at a park if they have it for that night. So it's like a free event for deluxe resorts and villas, which we are technically in a one bedroom Villa. So, so I don't know if we're going to be up for it, but if it is, and it, Lindee: We are in a one bedroom villa. Chasing The Magic: The only ones I've seen, I haven't seen one for Hollywood Studios, the only ones I've seen are for Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Lindee: Okay. So what. Chasing The Magic: And the part closes at like one. Lindee: One. Chasing The Magic: Yeah. Lindee: for both of them? Chasing The Magic: on those extent if you stay at the deluxe resort. Lindee: or depending on the. Interesting. Chasing The Magic: Yeah. So was like, that could be interesting if we, you know. Lindee: That'd be cool. Chasing The Magic: Just to see, just to say, you know. Lindee: Yeah, I mean, guess whoever doesn't want to do it doesn't have to either if everybody is sworn out. Chasing The Magic: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was looking today to, so like my, I have my new kid who's having some issues. He took a nap today, so I made the entire class color quietly in the dark, because I was like, we're not waking him up. But as I was doing that, that's when I sent that picture, I was like, let me just look on the Disney stuff. ⁓ Lindee: ⁓ my gosh. Chasing The Magic: I was looking and technically, mean, it just sucks. like, if I, I just wish I had like money, extra money to spend. It's only $500 more, only $500 more to stay at the boardwalk, but it's a smaller room. Like I think where we're staying after I looked at it, I was like, I think it works where we're staying. It's like the room works, kind of. Lindee: What are you looking at? So. ⁓ Yeah. Yeah, that's what I remember most about going through all that stuff was like there's two areas like I mean there's like a bathtub which is kind of random but Chasing The Magic: Yeah. Lindee: There's a shower and then there's two mirrors. Chasing The Magic: and a urinal. Did you see that? Lindee: I don't think there's a urine-a-laura. Chasing The Magic: What did you think that was? No, I didn't watch the video. Lindee: you watch the video? Is extra sink? I think there might be. That'd be more. Lindee: that's kind of weird. Chasing The Magic: It also didn't say it went through, so... like mine doesn't say delivered on it, so I don't know. You're right, that could be an extra sync. Lindee: It has to be... Chasing The Magic: Not a urinal. ⁓ well. Lindee: Yeah. Okay. Well, we're we're getting close to the I have a countdown on the calendar. It's 91 days right now. So it's already. ⁓ Chasing The Magic: I know, I also did re-download the app because we decided that I should. Yeah, we just need to unfriend each other before April 2nd or something like that. Lindee: Well, you're going to book the Lightning Lanes anyway, so yeah. Honestly, I don't think that we do because like you were saying, I can make a reservation and just put it in my name like you did for Beacon Barrel. Chasing The Magic: I'm in a call over spring break. Right, but I think I can still see your plans. Could you not see that when we did it? Lindee: ⁓ maybe. Chasing The Magic: Yeah. So we'll see. I'll call over spring break. Not a big deal. Speaking of spring break, the Monday that you're supposed to be coming over, I have a meeting with the DJ. It's a virtual meeting at 12 because they only do Monday chats. So. I figured y'all could come and then we can like eat or something. Or if y'all want to come after that or what? I don't know. Lindee: If it's easier for us to come after, can do that. We can't do our, what are we gonna do? We're gonna, oh, we could still watch one of the Marvel movies. Chasing The Magic: Okay. Well, I don't know, I just feel like we're gonna be getting everything. I'll probably get started early that morning. Lindee: I'm gonna have to come over after 12. What am I talking about? Lindee: usual. really don't well okay so we got Pluto last week that was the big thing what why you know yeah so yeah I think you just have to have lady at a certain level maybe it's both of them but I think it's just lady and I don't I want to say it's not that high like Chasing The Magic: ⁓ must be nice. So like. Chasing The Magic: Okay. Lindee: Where did they start it? I think it was this one that says, every dinner, every great dinner starts with the perfect tablecloth. Let's set the stage, watch this romantic scene come together piece by piece. Keep an eye out for the final surprise. And that was a day ago. And then today, bread has been served. Chasing The Magic: what to put on reels and the last two reels that I've used for Grok have gotten like double the amount of views than the ones I was like asking chat to make. So yeah. Okay. Let's see. So the first, this is why I'm not sure if I feel about Grok with news. The first piece of news he tells me is that Disney world has shared fresh details on the four major land expansions, but I feel like I haven't seen that anywhere. So Villains land. Lindee: Mmm. Mmm. Chasing The Magic: Piston Peak, Piston Peak, Monstropolis, and Tropical Americas. You have? Lindee: I feel like I saw something the other day, I didn't read too much into it, because I was just like, I don't know, I didn't feel like it, but I saw something, there were some like, maybe updated graphics, or like, I don't know. I trust Disney food blog. Lindee: Okay. Chasing The Magic: So yeah, so Emperor's New Groove coaster, Hades dinner show and more. Okay, so there is some big news. There is some big news if this is true. It's supposed to be a high throw coaster, but is now converted into a more family friendly ride like Slinky Dog Dash themed to Emperor's New Groove. Okay, I'm not sure how I feel about that. Maleficent indoor water ride similar to Pirates. Okay. Lindee: ⁓ my gosh, that's so exciting. If that. Okay. Chasing The Magic: Character interactions, obviously. And a third attraction has yet to be announced. So the updated plans are due in a couple of weeks. So and then that's, guess, they're presenting it to Josh. So that's all I have on that one. Let me see. The other link I had about Willensland, Hades, and Persian Groove. ⁓ an Ursula spinner. That can be fun. Okay, Piston Peak introduces Planes. I think I'm like the only one in the world who loves that movie. I love that movie. It was so cute. ⁓ Okay, whatever. It's so cute. El Chupacabra. Okay, it's an off track road rally race. Okay, we kinda already knew that. Okay, Visitor Lodge in May in Ranger headquarters. Lindee: ⁓ Hahaha! I've seen it once. I barely remember it. Chasing The Magic: Wooden beams, scenic overlooks, first of theming, that was a National Park Lodge. It just won't house gift shops and food counters. Disney intends to make them feel like every part of the story. While Piston Peak emphasizes speed and exploration, the next land returns to comedy and city life, which is Monstropolis. So that wasn't anything we didn't know really. So Monstropolis has the Disney door coaster. ⁓ It's gonna include a restaurant likely inspired by Harry Housen's and a new theater show, which we already knew that too. The biggest thing was the Villains Land and the rumored Emperor's New Groove Coaster. Won't believe it till I see it. So then the other piece of Disney news is some of the movies. The new movie Hoppers is coming out this Friday. I would love to go see it opening weekend because got to support the new IP, but I doubt I have time. Lindee: Right. this Friday. We can go wrist break break. Chasing The Magic: Yeah, we can go over spring break. ⁓ That's about it. ⁓ Zootopia 2 arrives on Disney Plus on March 11th. I will be watching it. Lindee: Yay, yay, yay. Lindee: Yeah, so right so it rises on here and it's about 2019 that seems right Flight of passage 2017 Guardians 2022 So I think it's the opening year Chasing The Magic: Yeah? Yeah? Lindee: But I don't know. Anyway, it says the mountain is 199.5 feet tall. Do know why it was that high? Chasing The Magic: Okay. Something about airspace is usually why Disney stuff doesn't get higher. Yeah. Lindee: note. Yep. Yep. So it was built just under 200 feet to avoid the FAA aviation warning lights. I've never seen it move. Lindee: Okay. It says due to structural issues, which makes me a little bit nervous now to ride the ride. And I think that is so cool. Cause like we were walking through that queue. Well, first of all, I guess that was my third time writing it. And the other times I'd done like single writer and we just skipped the queue. And so that was the first time we waited in the queue and Chasing The Magic: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Every attraction is not a ride. Lindee: Yeah, are we? I said right. Okay, well, it has some fun facts, I guess. So we'll go with it. Chasing The Magic: Okay, I bet I know them because I love it. What made it a ride? Chasing The Magic: Uh huh. Uh huh. That's probably what made it a ride. Yeah, like the story behind it probably made it a ride originally. Lindee: Okay, yeah. Interesting. Although what I've heard and I think what we've experienced is that if you go in the morning, they're more active because it's not as hot. Chasing The Magic: Right. Sorry, was getting a, I'm getting, we're making butter tomorrow in science, since I had to buy a lot of heavy cream. And so I was getting a Kroger delivery. And it says it was already delivered and I opened my door and I was like, there's nothing there. Okay, continue. Lindee: ⁓ well, we're on number five now. can, I mean, I have like about 10 minutes. Chasing The Magic: Okay, they didn't, so Animal Kingdom didn't tell you about the plastic egg. Lindee: No. Chasing The Magic: Okay, so in the spiel, they're, ⁓ you know, you, it's towards the beginning of the ride, and there's like these four eggs, and they, forgot what part they said it was, but they're like, this bird just laid these eggs, but they're always there. They're not real eggs. I know, I just, I think that, that's. Lindee: ⁓ That sounds like a, ⁓ that sounds like a Jungle Cruise joke. Chasing The Magic: Right. Well, it's not a joke. They try and tell people it's like real eggs. Lindee: interesting. Chasing The Magic: Yeah. Lindee: just really don't, I, to me it's like going to a zoo, like okay, I mean there's probably some, no they're probably really not even more exotic than animals you'd find in the Chasing The Magic: you No, but you can see them up close more. Like if you get stuck by an elephant or a giraffe, it's cool. But the likelihood of that happening, you know, isn't always there. All right, yeah, let's do one more and then maybe you have to. Lindee: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I think I want to do guardians, because I love guardians so very much. Chasing The Magic: Good at them. Yeah. Okay. Lindee: This one, this ride was, uh, guess premiered, debuted whatever in 2022. And didn't we, did we go in 2022? How's that thing really went? Yeah. So we rode it the first year and. Chasing The Magic: Mm-hmm. We did go in 2022. We did. Lindee: It was life-changing. Wasn't that the last ride we rode to? Okay, so then yeah, I guess that makes sense. It's not when you like first get on, because you like go around and there's the buildup, whatever, okay. ⁓ Chasing The Magic: Yeah, uh-huh. Mm-hmm. I would pay to ride that twice, I'm not even kidding, in June. ⁓ Okay, so the ride vehicles rotate 360 degrees to direct your focus towards show scenes. ⁓ It's one the largest fully enclosed coasters in the world. Chasing The Magic: ⁓ September's one, Iran, Canada, I don't know. The other two, I have to look them up. Lindee: Yeah. can ask. Chasing The Magic: I do want September. On the 21st of September they play September. Yeah. All day long. I know. And apparently the wait is so ridiculously long. Lindee: Well, I mean, if they didn't, that would be... Hahaha! Chasing The Magic: which I guess makes sense. Lindee: Okay, yep, September, Disco Inferno, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, One Way or Another, I Ran, and then Konga. Chasing The Magic: Okay. Lindee: September is often considered the fan favorite. Disney tested over 100 songs before narrowing it down to those. Chasing The Magic: That's wild. Lindee: I feel I only remember. Or have I heard one layer now? for sure, Konga, and for sure, I ran. interesting. So the music is synced to the coaster's motion. So some songs feel faster or more intense than others. ⁓ Chasing The Magic: Mm-hmm. Which I think Conga does. I think if Morgan would have gotten a different one besides Conga, he wouldn't have been, what was that word he used? Exhilarated? Like, you know? Lindee: I don't know man that coaster has a way of Chasing The Magic: I'm doing it, I know it does. Lindee: Mm-hmm.
