Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Today I spoke with Barbara With. I have shed a
- 0:05Speaker 1: lot of tears, including when I was meeting with her
- 0:08Speaker 1: when we were ending the session, and even since. I
- 0:12Speaker 1: don't know if it's her integrity or her authenticity, who
- 0:16Speaker 1: she is or work she's done on herself, and the
- 0:20Speaker 1: work she continues to share and will for the rest
- 0:22Speaker 1: of her life. It was an honor to speak with her,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and it's an even greater honor to share her with you.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So I hope you enjoy the conversation. Maybe it leaves
- 0:33Speaker 1: you wanting a bit more of barber time too. Welcome
- 0:39Speaker 1: to Mediumship Sparks, a place for people who want to
- 0:41Speaker 1: create the spiritual life they actually want to live in. Together,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we're going to explore the many ways we're invited into
- 0:47Speaker 1: greater awareness, deeper healing, and self-trust. The insights, ideas, experiences
- 0:52Speaker 1: shared here are offered to spark curiosity and invite a
- 0:56Speaker 1: deeper exploration of what's unfolding within and around you. May
- 1:01Speaker 1: these conversations help you discover what feels deeply, quietly true
- 1:04Speaker 1: for you. I'm Noelle Dean, intuitive medium and licensed marriage
- 1:08Speaker 1: and family therapist. Quick note before we begin, the podcast
- 1:11Speaker 1: is for educational purposes only and provides general information. It's
- 1:15Speaker 1: not medical or psychological advice and not a substitute for
- 1:18Speaker 1: care from a licensed health professional.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Now let's dive in. Hello. Hello. How are you today?
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'm doing great.
- 1:29Speaker 1: How are you, Barbara?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Very good. Thank you. Thanks for having me. I got
- 1:33Speaker 2: to be honest.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I didn't do any research on you until last night,
- 1:37Speaker 1: and then I could barely sleep. First of all, I'm
- 1:40Speaker 1: a little embarrassed that I never heard of your work before,
- 1:42Speaker 1: like The Party of Twelve. And I was so excited
- 1:45Speaker 1: just at the prospect. I'm probably going to get emotional.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I feel ashamed, but I have 400 pages of a
- 1:51Speaker 1: manuscript from an energy collective. that they gave me five
- 1:54Speaker 1: years ago that I've done nothing with. And I totally
- 1:57Speaker 1: blanked on it. I've kept their work quiet because I
- 2:00Speaker 1: don't know what to do with it. But anyway, your
- 2:03Speaker 1: bravery and courage to put yourself out there at a
- 2:07Speaker 1: time when spirituality was less accepted, like 30, I think
- 2:12Speaker 1: it was 30 years. Your journey and what you do
- 2:14Speaker 1: just so speaks to my soul.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Oh, Noel, that's so beautiful. I have to admit, too,
- 2:21Speaker 2: that I just jumped on to say, OK, let's find
- 2:23Speaker 2: out about Noel. And I was just quickly reading through
- 2:26Speaker 2: your stuff and I was like, oh, my gosh. Oh,
- 2:29Speaker 2: my gosh. So much of it just resonates with my journey, too.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Thank you for meeting with me because I'm trying to
- 2:37Speaker 1: stay relaxed and not get nervous because I have so
- 2:40Speaker 1: much respect for your work and you as the person
- 2:43Speaker 1: who did that work. And I had this strange experience
- 2:46Speaker 1: last night that must be related to, because that's kind
- 2:48Speaker 1: of how I operate when I am going to meet
- 2:50Speaker 1: with somebody. So I usually have some trouble falling asleep,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but it was like chaos last night. At times it
- 2:58Speaker 1: sounded like I heard a TV in the background. I
- 3:01Speaker 1: heard other noises. And then there was this man that
- 3:04Speaker 1: sounded a.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Little bit like Billy Crystal. And at one point he's like,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you happy?
- 3:10Speaker 1: And I was like, And in his own voice, that
- 3:13Speaker 1: isn't usually how it happens for me. And I was like, sure.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And then he said something else after, I don't know.
- 3:19Speaker 1: There was a little snark in there and it wasn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: somebody I'm familiar with. It was really hard to get sleep.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And I was wondering if that was your experience.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I certainly have had those very clear. And it's more
- 3:35Speaker 2: than audio experience. It's a kind of a buzzing inside
- 3:39Speaker 2: you experience. from the inside out, that's resonating with the
- 3:43Speaker 2: something greater, right? And leaves us unable to sleep. But
- 3:49Speaker 2: I think myself, after all these years, and I'm working
- 3:53Speaker 2: on the 25th edition of The Party of Twelve right now.
- 3:57Speaker 2: So all of this is tying in with what's happened
- 4:00Speaker 2: in 25 years and how far we've come. And now
- 4:04Speaker 2: there's people like you saying, recognizing that path was... really difficult.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And yet, what else are we going to do? We
- 4:13Speaker 2: can talk about the different ways that we experience this
- 4:16Speaker 2: because it's clearly the same.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You've done so many things. However, you can talk about
- 4:23Speaker 1: a bit of your background and what.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Your focus is now. Yeah, I started out as a songwriter.
- 4:29Speaker 2: So I started writing songs when I was 12. And
- 4:31Speaker 2: that process was the actual process for me of channeling
- 4:38Speaker 2: go into the nothing and you listen. I'd listen for
- 4:41Speaker 2: the music and I'd pull out four bars and then
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'd hear some more and I'd pull out four more bars.
- 4:46Speaker 2: And that really was the setup, I think. And plus
- 4:49Speaker 2: it was a way divinely to protect me because where
- 4:54Speaker 2: I was going was mind boggling. They knew it was
- 4:58Speaker 2: going to be a test on my psyche because you
- 5:01Speaker 2: can't be through what I've been through and just go,
- 5:03Speaker 2: oh yeah, I channel Einstein and then it was this
- 5:05Speaker 2: and that. It's like, no, That was a journey. So
- 5:08Speaker 2: that was the first introduction to that. And alongside that,
- 5:13Speaker 2: in high school, my friend's mom was a psychic and
- 5:16Speaker 2: she did channeling. And this is 70 when nobody called
- 5:19Speaker 2: it channeling. And her readings were, they were predictory, but
- 5:25Speaker 2: it was more about self-love. It was more about how
- 5:27Speaker 2: to take care of myself. I'd come from a very
- 5:29Speaker 2: traumatic childhood and had these gifts that I didn't know
- 5:32Speaker 2: what to do with. So that's, really the vein in
- 5:36Speaker 2: which I got started. And then years later, I think
- 5:38Speaker 2: it was 87, I had been getting readings. I was
- 5:43Speaker 2: reading tarot. I was into that headspace. So when I
- 5:46Speaker 2: was typing a letter and my hands became independent, then
- 5:50Speaker 2: I knew what it was, but I was still, what
- 5:53Speaker 2: is this? And so I asked, who are you? Now
- 5:58Speaker 2: I was told by my mentor that I'm Nantana. There wasn't...
- 6:03Speaker 2: Spirits or dead people or anybody, I'm an antenna. The
- 6:07Speaker 2: answer was you can call us sound. I had been
- 6:10Speaker 2: in music since I started teaching myself piano when I
- 6:13Speaker 2: was five. Sound was a safe place. Because sound was
- 6:18Speaker 2: a safe place for me, it was like, okay, I
- 6:20Speaker 2: don't have to really delve too much. What does that mean?
- 6:23Speaker 2: And that's how I started doing readings. I did readings
- 6:27Speaker 2: for five years. I gave a couple readings to friends
- 6:30Speaker 2: and said, I don't know if it helps. passed my
- 6:33Speaker 2: name along, and I became world famous in Minneapolis. In 1993,
- 6:38Speaker 2: I thought, what if I did this in front of
- 6:40Speaker 2: a bunch of people? What would they say to a
- 6:42Speaker 2: bunch of people? And along came Kim and Teresa, best friends,
- 6:48Speaker 2: both in conflict and crisis, and came for readings and
- 6:52Speaker 2: couldn't get enough, asking questions, calling me up. What does
- 6:55Speaker 2: this mean? What does that mean? I was like, I
- 6:56Speaker 2: don't know. And so in that December of 1993, we
- 7:01Speaker 2: did our very first group. We called ourselves the Psychic Sorority.
- 7:06Speaker 2: We would record the groups and transcribe the tapes and
- 7:10Speaker 2: then see what the sound had to say. Now, when
- 7:12Speaker 2: they asked, the two of them said, who are you?
- 7:16Speaker 2: They said, you can call us angels. So we decided
- 7:19Speaker 2: that we really didn't care if it was the Easter
- 7:21Speaker 2: Bunny because what we were being told was so profound
- 7:26Speaker 2: and changing our lives so rapidly for the better that
- 7:30Speaker 2: we didn't really care. And what the angels said was
- 7:34Speaker 2: they had this theory of if humans would first resolve
- 7:40Speaker 2: conflicts within them in this particular way that they were theorizing,
- 7:47Speaker 2: that the byproduct would be world peace. They weren't having
- 7:51Speaker 2: us pointed that we're going to work for world peace.
- 7:55Speaker 2: It was we're going to work to resolve our inner
- 7:57Speaker 2: conflicts and the byproduct would be world peace and peace.
- 8:01Speaker 2: that our wildest dreams would come true, of course. So
- 8:04Speaker 2: I wanted to be a rock star, and I figured, okay, great.
- 8:08Speaker 2: We're on our way to being Joni Mitchell. But we
- 8:11Speaker 2: rose to the occasion. They needed humans to test out
- 8:15Speaker 2: their theory, and apparently we volunteered and were chosen. And
- 8:18Speaker 2: we did. And we had our first conflict. And we
- 8:22Speaker 2: sat uncomfortably at my dining room table, pointing our fingers
- 8:25Speaker 2: at each other. If you were only this much of
- 8:27Speaker 2: a better person, then I wouldn't have to feel this way.
- 8:30Speaker 2: It reached ahead, and I said, well, we just did
- 8:32Speaker 2: a session called Conflict Resolution. I said, let me go
- 8:35Speaker 2: get the transcript and see what they have to say.
- 8:38Speaker 2: This is what we're supposed to be doing. If you
- 8:41Speaker 2: are involved in a conflict, the root of your part
- 8:44Speaker 2: is within you. Back then, that was so revolutionary. We're
- 8:51Speaker 2: talking about 1994, and we got it. I think we
- 8:56Speaker 2: all started crying at some point, going, oh, my gosh.
- 9:00Speaker 2: So I could come back to the table and say, okay,
- 9:02Speaker 2: here's what I can do better. Kim could do that.
- 9:06Speaker 2: The result was miraculous in its little everyday way. That
- 9:10Speaker 2: night I went to work. I was singing at a
- 9:13Speaker 2: hotel in Minneapolis and there was a waitress there who
- 9:16Speaker 2: never cared for me. And I walked in and she
- 9:18Speaker 2: could not get enough of me. Oh, Barbara, I've got
- 9:22Speaker 2: some Patti Smith cassettes. I'm wondering if you'd like. And
- 9:25Speaker 2: she put money in my tip jar. And I was like, what,
- 9:27Speaker 2: what is going on here? And then the aha moment,
- 9:31Speaker 2: this is what they're talking about. When we resolve the
- 9:34Speaker 2: conflict inside us, it changes what manifests around us. I
- 9:40Speaker 2: could never have sat her down and said, hey, honey,
- 9:43Speaker 2: how come you don't like me? Those moments, those incremental
- 9:46Speaker 2: moments of paying attention and having this sort of guidance
- 9:49Speaker 2: from these angels, whoever they were in my two cohorts,
- 9:53Speaker 2: that was the beginning of what became Conflict Revolution. I
- 9:57Speaker 2: started training that in 1999. and nonprofit that I worked at.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I created a workshop for staff development and it's been
- 10:05Speaker 2: going ever since then. It is as miraculous as they
- 10:10Speaker 2: said it was going to be. So that's my background.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It's a wild story. It's not Typical, but it's true.
- 10:18Speaker 2: And I'm excited in the year 2026 that finally the
- 10:22Speaker 2: world is catching up. Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It is not lost on me that we're meeting on 9-11, 2026.
- 10:28Speaker 2: 11 o'clock my time. Yeah. And we just passed 11-11
- 10:31Speaker 2: on 11. Yes. Talking about conflict revolution. Sounds beautiful.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I love the idea, just the origins of it, much
- 10:45Speaker 1: less the results of it, of angels coming through and
- 10:49Speaker 1: having these ideas that we think this is going to help.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Are you willing to try it out for us and
- 10:55Speaker 1: that you engage in it? And then I wonder sometimes
- 10:58Speaker 1: how much people who just don't understand they're channeling something
- 11:02Speaker 1: or channeling something huge, and then it just makes the
- 11:05Speaker 1: world better. I can appreciate that you had the awareness of,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don't care if it's Easter bunny. Some people feel
- 11:10Speaker 1: strongly that you should know who's coming through exactly. And
- 11:14Speaker 1: it sounds like you share the same ideas that I do.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Sometimes I know, sometimes I don't. And I can't have
- 11:20Speaker 1: that be the limitation because if I'm getting messages of
- 11:23Speaker 1: love or healing for myself or somebody else, I don't
- 11:27Speaker 1: really care. And maybe they don't necessarily want to be known.
- 11:30Speaker 1: If they just come across as something that feels safe,
- 11:33Speaker 1: that's good enough.
- 11:35Speaker 2: In my world, there's a collective consciousness. There's the voice
- 11:38Speaker 2: of we, since my first reading at 16. And with
- 11:42Speaker 2: the party, now they're talking about how much they have
- 11:45Speaker 2: become not homogenous. They haven't just become one boundaryless voice.
- 11:53Speaker 2: It's more like they described it as, think how diverse
- 11:57Speaker 2: the world is. Just in species and plants, diversity is
- 12:02Speaker 2: the nature of creation. So their voices are still diverse,
- 12:07Speaker 2: but they've come to this alignment to working for the
- 12:14Speaker 2: greatest good, which then evokes in us, like when we
- 12:18Speaker 2: decide we really want to work for the greatest good,
- 12:20Speaker 2: it evokes in us a kind of an energy and
- 12:23Speaker 2: an attitude that is really unifying. I had this great opportunity.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson used to have a segment called Ask Tucker.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I got picked to have the little five-minute segment as Tucker.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And I asked him, do you believe in afterlife? And
- 12:38Speaker 2: do you believe that we can talk to people in afterlife?
- 12:42Speaker 2: He was like, the Bible says be careful of speaking
- 12:45Speaker 2: to the dead and the tarot cards are blah, blah, blah,
- 12:48Speaker 2: kind of the old thing. I said, but Tucker, how
- 12:51Speaker 2: did the early prophets know it was God? And he said, oh,
- 12:55Speaker 2: God spoke to them. I said, I know, but how
- 12:58Speaker 2: did they know? You just said there's all these warnings.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And he was like, I guess it would be you'd
- 13:06Speaker 2: know them by their fruits, the fruits of their labor.
- 13:10Speaker 2: And that's exactly what our conversation was back then when
- 13:13Speaker 2: we were talking about the Easter money. It's like, how
- 13:15Speaker 2: do we know it's not somebody disguising themselves as angels?
- 13:21Speaker 2: And it was because we know them by their fruits.
- 13:23Speaker 2: You can tell. And for you talking about if you're
- 13:28Speaker 2: picking up information that's really of that level of love
- 13:33Speaker 2: and compassion, your body knows it. You know it. You
- 13:37Speaker 2: know a conflicted energy. And then you decide. That's where
- 13:42Speaker 2: some people may want to play with, oh, I can
- 13:47Speaker 2: conquer this negative energy. Or maybe some people are just curious.
- 13:52Speaker 2: It's a learning process. I had some big egotistical mistakes
- 13:56Speaker 2: in the beginning of my career as a psychic.
- 14:00Speaker 1: My most recent dabbling with let me see what I
- 14:03Speaker 1: can do here, was interviewing somebody for the.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Podcast with schizophrenia.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And I wondered, where is the line between being schizophrenic
- 14:12Speaker 1: and being a medium? And we had a beautiful conversation.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I knew a family member of his, so there was
- 14:17Speaker 1: some implied trust from the beginning. It was fascinating, but
- 14:21Speaker 1: I foolishly, I took an entity at face value that
- 14:25Speaker 1: he wanted to be chummy. And it taught me a lot.
- 14:30Speaker 1: about accept beings, people, everybody for who they are and
- 14:34Speaker 1: their behavior and not blindly walk into something that you
- 14:37Speaker 1: consciously know or even logically know is a terrible idea.
- 14:42Speaker 1: But beings can be charming.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yes. And I don't think that souls, spirits are any
- 14:50Speaker 2: different than human beings. You get human beings who will
- 14:54Speaker 2: do that right to you. And it's our job to
- 14:56Speaker 2: be discerning. Absolutely.
- 14:59Speaker 1: The more I'm Getting to know the spiritual world lately,
- 15:02Speaker 1: it's just occurring to me more and more how it's
- 15:04Speaker 1: very much like this world.
- 15:06Speaker 2: But yes, that's absolutely.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So I won't even say his name. I'm not even
- 15:09Speaker 1: entertaining anything about all of that. But it was a
- 15:12Speaker 1: great lesson for me and how you can get sucked
- 15:14Speaker 1: into something because you're not using discernment or your logical mind.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And we do know, but we sometimes pretend or we're
- 15:23Speaker 1: trained like when we have childhood trauma or other unresolved
- 15:27Speaker 1: situations or family relationships that are strained. We learn the
- 15:31Speaker 1: skill of pretending, pretending we don't know. I'm a trained
- 15:35Speaker 1: therapist also for my own healing. The more healed I am,
- 15:39Speaker 1: the clearer and cleaner my thinking and discernment actually is.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think the two really go hand in hand because
- 15:45Speaker 1: if you're unhealthy and you're desperate to please people, you're
- 15:49Speaker 1: going to hang out with an entity for a month
- 15:51Speaker 1: and think he's your best friend and then you can't get.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Rid of him. Yeah, those are the important lessons.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It is very important. I can appreciate for you that
- 16:00Speaker 1: at 12, you had this loving energy come into you
- 16:04Speaker 1: and say, hey, we're the safest thing you've got in
- 16:06Speaker 1: your life. You can be with us and you knew
- 16:09Speaker 1: it and you stayed on that track. You have had
- 16:12Speaker 1: a fascinating career with channeling and you mentioned about the party.
- 16:15Speaker 1: So for our listeners, give an intro to the party
- 16:18Speaker 1: of 12.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yes. So Kim and Teresa and I published our first book,
- 16:23Speaker 2: Diaries of a Psychic Sorority, Talking with the Angels. I
- 16:26Speaker 2: think it was the 90s. And a year later, my
- 16:29Speaker 2: literary agent got a call from a tabloid in London,
- 16:32Speaker 2: a metaphysical tabloid. I believe it was called The Sun.
- 16:35Speaker 2: And they were looking for an interview with Princess Di
- 16:37Speaker 2: on the one-year anniversary, Beyond the Grave. Because I was
- 16:41Speaker 2: learning that people who had passed on would appear to
- 16:44Speaker 2: me and ask me to get a message to their
- 16:47Speaker 2: living children, which then it worked out, again, not me
- 16:52Speaker 2: doing it. Suddenly I'm in front of your living children.
- 16:55Speaker 2: So I don't know what that meant, but I thought
- 16:57Speaker 2: about it. I thought I could just see what happens
- 16:59Speaker 2: if I imagine going to her and asking. And so
- 17:03Speaker 2: I channeled, and I realized the other day, I just,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I channeled the questions as well as the answers and
- 17:10Speaker 2: typed it, then printed it out and went to the
- 17:13Speaker 2: beach and read it and wept. It was so profound
- 17:17Speaker 2: and deep. You could hear her voice and felt like
- 17:20Speaker 2: she was sitting beside me. And I said, the point was,
- 17:23Speaker 2: if this, which was all about Conflict revolution, basically world
- 17:27Speaker 2: peace in her life. But if everybody who put flowers
- 17:31Speaker 2: in front of the palace would do this work, we'd
- 17:33Speaker 2: have world peace in a day. She was a big
- 17:35Speaker 2: piece in real life. And I said, this is so
- 17:38Speaker 2: brilliant because if it gets into a paper with 40
- 17:41Speaker 2: million people who read it, how many of those people
- 17:44Speaker 2: will be influenced to take this shift? It was brilliant.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And she said, yes, but we are not in charge.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I said, thank God. because I couldn't figure this out.
- 17:56Speaker 2: So they flew me to New York and they interviewed
- 17:58Speaker 2: me for five hours and they didn't want it because
- 18:01Speaker 2: there wasn't a single word about Camilla and Charles in it,
- 18:05Speaker 2: which is not what Princess Di would ever do. But
- 18:08Speaker 2: my agent and I, maybe there's more famous dead people
- 18:11Speaker 2: who want to speak. So we made this big list
- 18:14Speaker 2: and I'd imagine going to them and Gandhi, no, I
- 18:17Speaker 2: said it all in life, and Mother Teresa was tired,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and they all had an answer until the second one
- 18:22Speaker 2: was Nicole Brown Simpson. O.J. just the year before had
- 18:27Speaker 2: been let off the hook. It's like what you were
- 18:30Speaker 2: saying about you start to realize that it's very much
- 18:34Speaker 2: like real life, afterlife. It wasn't that she just went
- 18:38Speaker 2: into afterlife, and she was really distressed. And by the
- 18:42Speaker 2: time we got to John F. Kennedy... He said, this
- 18:45Speaker 2: wasn't your idea. It's not your idea. We are, in fact,
- 18:49Speaker 2: this party of 12 gathered in Afterlife, come to help
- 18:53Speaker 2: you with the world peace, and we'll tell you who's
- 18:57Speaker 2: coming up. Because we didn't have Einstein on the list.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I was like, why not? So when I did Einstein,
- 19:05Speaker 2: I spoke. And when I started that channel, I realized
- 19:10Speaker 2: this is the voice of all my readings. This is
- 19:16Speaker 2: the voice of sound. Yeah, exactly. That look on your face.
- 19:20Speaker 2: That's how I was like, what are you telling me?
- 19:23Speaker 2: That I'm not an antenna. That they weren't angels. That
- 19:30Speaker 2: it was you? We go on and do 12 interviews
- 19:36Speaker 2: with amazing people I didn't know anything about. And I still,
- 19:43Speaker 2: though you were talking earlier about feeling reticent about coming
- 19:49Speaker 2: out of the closet And that's how I felt. Wait
- 19:52Speaker 2: a minute. You're telling me there's these 12 famous dead
- 19:55Speaker 2: people and they picked me to be their steno. It
- 19:57Speaker 2: took me about three years to quit calling them angels.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It was when I published the book finally in June
- 20:07Speaker 2: of 2001. Apparently they were waiting for JFK Jr., who
- 20:13Speaker 2: arrived as the honored 13th, to introduce the party and
- 20:17Speaker 2: introduce how they all came together. And that was a
- 20:20Speaker 2: story I'd never heard either. How did you guys come together?
- 20:23Speaker 2: So we published on June 2001, and then when 9-11 happened,
- 20:28Speaker 2: I figured I better come out of the closet myself,
- 20:31Speaker 2: because the world needs this. It just needs it, and
- 20:33Speaker 2: this is not a time to be reticent about this.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So that's how I got introduced to Einstein. And then
- 20:41Speaker 2: in 2005 was the 100 year anniversary of E equals
- 20:44Speaker 2: MC squared. And I said, hey, let's do a little
- 20:47Speaker 2: book with Einstein. Let's see what he has to say.
- 20:49Speaker 2: I had no idea. Let's just do it. And he
- 20:52Speaker 2: came out with this mind bending moment in my life
- 20:55Speaker 2: of a unified field theory, which is something he did
- 20:58Speaker 2: not do as a scientist in real life. He sort
- 21:01Speaker 2: of poo-pooed the quantum theories in real life. It had
- 21:05Speaker 2: a map of human consciousness and it defined compassion as
- 21:10Speaker 2: the fifth fundamental force of the universe. The creative intelligence
- 21:16Speaker 2: that uses the other four fundamental forces to impel the
- 21:18Speaker 2: creation of the physical world and that the source of
- 21:22Speaker 2: everything is in the center of the earth and it
- 21:26Speaker 2: operates like a black hole. I continue to take the
- 21:31Speaker 2: stenography of what he was saying. But I said to him,
- 21:35Speaker 2: I have to stand up in front of scientists and
- 21:37Speaker 2: tell them that the source of everything is a black
- 21:39Speaker 2: hole inside. Am I going to get laughed off the stage?
- 21:42Speaker 2: Is this even possible? He said, yes, take my word
- 21:46Speaker 2: for it. But I remained faithful and I published that
- 21:49Speaker 2: book and it got me invited all over the world
- 21:52Speaker 2: to teach and train and channel Einstein. And the pièce
- 21:55Speaker 2: de résistance of the story for me is last summer, 25.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I went to Barcelona and did a presentation at the
- 22:03Speaker 2: Science of Consciousness Conference, a 30-some-year-old conference put on by
- 22:08Speaker 2: the University of Arizona Tucson Astrophysicist Department. They've been looking
- 22:15Speaker 2: for the nature of consciousness for 30 years. They started
- 22:18Speaker 2: out like all the left-brain scientists, and as the years passed,
- 22:21Speaker 2: you needed the psychologists, you needed the roomie poets, you
- 22:24Speaker 2: needed the meditators. I'm presenting. The room is packed full.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And I say, in 2005, I told him, I got
- 22:34Speaker 2: to stand up in front of the scientists and say this.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And three of them, we knew it. We knew it
- 22:41Speaker 2: was a black hole. And then I think I retired
- 22:43Speaker 2: in that moment. You know what? That part of my
- 22:46Speaker 2: mission is done. Now I know. And it was almost
- 22:51Speaker 2: to the day, one day short of the 70th anniversary
- 22:54Speaker 2: of Einstein's last manifesto being read. in London on July 9th, 1955,
- 23:01Speaker 2: where he implores the world leaders to resolve their conflicts
- 23:05Speaker 2: peacefully because no one will survive World War III. So
- 23:09Speaker 2: how does that happen? That was in my mind going
- 23:12Speaker 2: through as they fist pump him like, how does it happen?
- 23:16Speaker 2: And here we are. Since then, I have been on
- 23:20Speaker 2: an international peace tour. And part of that is for
- 23:23Speaker 2: the rest of my life, because what else am I
- 23:25Speaker 2: going to do? In 2023, when I started the tour
- 23:29Speaker 2: 2024 onward, there's so many people like yourself, so many podcasters,
- 23:35Speaker 2: so many young people who get it and have conversations
- 23:40Speaker 2: and have their own practices and are exploring all of
- 23:43Speaker 2: these things that back in when I was doing the
- 23:46Speaker 2: first workshop in 1999, it was like pulling teeth to
- 23:50Speaker 2: get anybody to think that emotion might have a root
- 23:52Speaker 2: cause of a physical ailment. Now it's, oh my gosh,
- 23:56Speaker 2: there's charts and graphs and healers. And so it's very exciting.
- 24:03Speaker 1: It sounds amazing. I was going to ask you what
- 24:06Speaker 1: pushed you over the edge of outing yourself about channeling Einstein.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And it sounds like some of it was timing. 9-11.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I was wondering, I was doing some self-reflection just last
- 24:18Speaker 1: night about the difference in my mediumship. And I think
- 24:23Speaker 1: I had to go from suspended disbelief.
- 24:28Speaker 2: And now I'm in belief. I think that skepticism is
- 24:32Speaker 2: very important. I have questions.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I'm a trained therapist. I live with a very smart
- 24:36Speaker 1: man who he's not cynical about mediumship, but he He
- 24:41Speaker 1: has his own beliefs about stuff. And there are times
- 24:43Speaker 1: when he somewhat jokingly, not so jokingly, is like, do
- 24:47Speaker 1: you ever think about getting yourself checked? There's a fine
- 24:50Speaker 1: line between auditory hallucinations and clairaudience. Feeling the tone of
- 24:55Speaker 1: things being positive. And this is for everybody listening who
- 24:59Speaker 1: questions themselves. Feeling the tone of the information that comes in.
- 25:04Speaker 1: My impression from Scott, the young man who did the
- 25:07Speaker 1: Am I Crazy or Connected series with me, There is
- 25:10Speaker 1: a tone to the information that comes to him, and
- 25:14Speaker 1: it's not the tone of what we're talking about. That
- 25:16Speaker 1: is its own distinction.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And if we reflect that off of mediumship and talk
- 25:22Speaker 2: about what we're learning in this new party that's coming
- 25:25Speaker 2: out now, headed up by Jung, inside ourselves, there's 12 archetypes.
- 25:33Speaker 2: There's 12 seats at the table, each representing one of
- 25:37Speaker 2: the archetypes in the dodecahedron of power structure. We struggle with,
- 25:44Speaker 2: forget the outside voices, how much of those voices are
- 25:49Speaker 2: part of this natural 12-piece faceted psychological structure that we
- 25:56Speaker 2: really have that nobody really has totally dug into. Jung did,
- 26:02Speaker 2: but After that, I think that's fascinating. I think the reflection,
- 26:07Speaker 2: whatever's going on around us, reflected back into us is
- 26:11Speaker 2: such a valuable roadmap.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Just the concept of somebody like Jung still doing his work,
- 26:18Speaker 1: that's just so freaking cool to me to understand that.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I want to go back to your original party of 12,
- 26:24Speaker 1: because when I saw that list, I didn't notice Adolf
- 26:27Speaker 1: Hitler's name at first.
- 26:29Speaker 2: And then later, I was like, wait, what?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Have the question to you when you recognized that who
- 26:37Speaker 1: you were connecting with was somebody that all of us
- 26:43Speaker 1: would have such a strong reaction to. What that was
- 26:47Speaker 1: like and how did you let go of your own
- 26:49Speaker 1: feeling or knowledge about what he did in life to
- 26:54Speaker 1: be able to understand how to connect with him as
- 26:56Speaker 1: a soul who would have evolved enough to want to
- 26:59Speaker 1: be part of the party of 12?
- 27:03Speaker 2: By the time I got there to facing Adolf Hitler,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I had so much intense training, especially surrounded by the
- 27:14Speaker 2: psychic sorority. There's a reason there were three of us
- 27:16Speaker 2: because then my ego couldn't get off the rails. And
- 27:20Speaker 2: also because I'm really curious. And I think if Adolf
- 27:23Speaker 2: Hitler was alive and sitting in a jail cell, I
- 27:27Speaker 2: would not hesitate at all if I had the opportunity
- 27:29Speaker 2: to go and interview him without a fear that He
- 27:33Speaker 2: was somehow going to pollute me into becoming evil, which
- 27:36Speaker 2: I couldn't do without my consent. After the interview, during
- 27:42Speaker 2: the interview, I began to realize why he was there.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And when we asked him, why should we talk to you,
- 27:48Speaker 2: he had a couple of really good answers. And one
- 27:50Speaker 2: was because all of those people who think they're marching
- 27:53Speaker 2: in the streets under my name as fascists, as haters,
- 27:57Speaker 2: as greedy people, People, you don't escape hell. You don't
- 28:03Speaker 2: go to it. It becomes you. So he wasn't in hell,
- 28:09Speaker 2: but it was exuding out of him from all of
- 28:12Speaker 2: the karma, all of the decisions, everything that he did.
- 28:16Speaker 2: And yet, the bigger picture was that he too had
- 28:21Speaker 2: a covenant. He had agreements. The people who died in
- 28:25Speaker 2: the Holocaust, they had agreements. There was a bigger plan,
- 28:30Speaker 2: which doesn't separate the evil that happened on the planet.
- 28:33Speaker 2: And that's the important part is having those two conversations.
- 28:37Speaker 2: And now what's so interesting is that in 1998, it
- 28:41Speaker 2: was so controversial. Even Kim and Teresa were like, you
- 28:44Speaker 2: know what? We didn't sign up for Hitler. Neither.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You have officially crossed the line, Barbara.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I did. And then we had a whole shift in
- 28:53Speaker 2: our work and I went towards the party. But after
- 28:56Speaker 2: all of these years... As things have gotten worse in
- 28:59Speaker 2: the world and you get called a fascist or a
- 29:03Speaker 2: white supremacist or an anti-Semitic, you get called all these
- 29:08Speaker 2: things that people do to divert. You get accused of
- 29:16Speaker 2: being all these things. He's a Hitler. He's a Hitler.
- 29:19Speaker 2: He's a Hitler. His name has come back out again
- 29:22Speaker 2: in quite a way. And in some ways, I think
- 29:26Speaker 2: it's really... great in that we can start to bring
- 29:30Speaker 2: up this conversation of what does it mean to be evil?
- 29:34Speaker 2: What do we do when we are confronted with evil? Now,
- 29:40Speaker 2: my own simple answer is that you just don't be evil.
- 29:43Speaker 2: That's really all you can do. There's going to be
- 29:46Speaker 2: demons and evil around you, just like Jesus, when he
- 29:51Speaker 2: kind of just put the devil behind him because he
- 29:55Speaker 2: didn't have any power over him. He didn't respect me.
- 29:59Speaker 2: People aren't going to respect you. People are going to
- 30:01Speaker 2: hurt you. What are you going to do to respect yourself?
- 30:05Speaker 2: How are you going to become that change? Rather than
- 30:08Speaker 2: focusing on the ones who are victimizing us, let's take
- 30:12Speaker 2: our power back and see how we can uncreate them.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Because if they're there, we're creating them. And that's good
- 30:19Speaker 2: news because then we can uncreate them by going inside,
- 30:23Speaker 2: finding the archetype of who they are within us, handling
- 30:27Speaker 2: them there. And then naturally things change in a different
- 30:33Speaker 2: way than when we try going at them in the
- 30:36Speaker 2: arena and where it's being created.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It's almost magical in how you're saying it, but there's
- 30:42Speaker 1: a lot of personal growth that points to when we
- 30:45Speaker 1: clear ourselves of things, we are unflappable in certain situations
- 30:50Speaker 1: that would have been triggering before. I would be interested
- 30:52Speaker 1: in your opinion. is that I've come across people that
- 30:55Speaker 1: I did a reading with somebody who had a very,
- 30:59Speaker 1: very abusive, mentally ill mother. That was a strange experience,
- 31:03Speaker 1: but she didn't give me a heads up about that,
- 31:05Speaker 1: which I didn't appreciate after, because I would want to
- 31:08Speaker 1: know so I could protect the client if that kind
- 31:12Speaker 1: of thing came up. For people who have somebody who
- 31:15Speaker 1: was abusive to them, who's now on the other side,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I've met somebody who was afraid to die because she
- 31:21Speaker 1: doesn't want to be anywhere near the father that had
- 31:24Speaker 1: abused her so badly. You connected with Hitler. So how
- 31:28Speaker 1: would you suggest they navigate something about that for themselves?
- 31:32Speaker 2: I come from that background. My father was a PDF.
- 31:37Speaker 2: And that was the trauma that I was born into
- 31:42Speaker 2: and subjected to that caused my fracturing. I don't know
- 31:46Speaker 2: what PDF stands for.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah. So I just don't like to say it
- 31:50Speaker 2: because I don't know what happens on YouTube. I gotcha.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So yes, I have that same experience. And what I
- 31:57Speaker 2: had to do in life before he was dead, I
- 32:01Speaker 2: didn't want him in my life, but I also didn't
- 32:04Speaker 2: want to be resentful of him because that was the attachment.
- 32:08Speaker 2: That's what I used to stay hooked into that dysfunctional thing.
- 32:14Speaker 2: And so with the help of the angels and everything,
- 32:17Speaker 2: they told us this very simple thing about if you're
- 32:21Speaker 2: triggered by someone emotionally, there's something inside, the conflict begins
- 32:27Speaker 2: within you. So there's something inside there that you're a
- 32:30Speaker 2: pattern that you hear your father's voice. Not that he
- 32:33Speaker 2: didn't do those things, but if I'm still triggered by it,
- 32:36Speaker 2: there's something in me that is operating independent of him
- 32:41Speaker 2: that was probably patterned from those experiences. patterns within us.
- 32:47Speaker 2: And that I had to get to the bottom of
- 32:48Speaker 2: that within me was where was that a reflection of
- 32:52Speaker 2: how I was not treating myself well, how I was
- 32:56Speaker 2: maybe abusing myself, how some part of me was psychopathic,
- 33:00Speaker 2: quote unquote. And I did a lot of work, especially
- 33:03Speaker 2: I'd been sexually assaulted at one point. And the guy
- 33:07Speaker 2: is a psychopath. And so I had to stand in
- 33:09Speaker 2: front of the mirror and go, where am I a psychopath?
- 33:11Speaker 2: Where am I not keeping myself safe? and purposely hurting myself.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Knowing that he was a psychopath and thinking that you
- 33:21Speaker 2: can go sit next to him and saying to myself,
- 33:25Speaker 2: the world's a better place if I'm here to protect
- 33:27Speaker 2: them from this psychopath. No, because that put me right
- 33:32Speaker 2: in harm's way. But if I resist it, like you're
- 33:36Speaker 2: talking about with her, where, no, I can't be near,
- 33:40Speaker 2: then it persists and you remain attached. So as you
- 33:45Speaker 2: take this magical thinking and you turn it around inside,
- 33:50Speaker 2: you put them on a far circle. It's like you're
- 33:54Speaker 2: making the decision, and I did with my father. I
- 33:57Speaker 2: even wrote him a letter and said, unless you're able
- 34:00Speaker 2: to cop to this, you have to be out there
- 34:03Speaker 2: on a far circle. I love you. Thanks for everything
- 34:08Speaker 2: in the bigger picture, but you don't get to be
- 34:10Speaker 2: inside my inner circle. Now, That is nearly impossible for
- 34:15Speaker 2: so many people to stand up and just say, you
- 34:18Speaker 2: know what? No, I'm saying no. I did that for
- 34:21Speaker 2: my whole life with my father and came to a place.
- 34:26Speaker 2: My mother was always very concerned. She said, aren't you
- 34:27Speaker 2: going to present that you didn't connect with him before
- 34:30Speaker 2: he dies? It's like, no, I don't think so. I
- 34:34Speaker 2: feel pretty good. I feel like I love him and
- 34:36Speaker 2: I appreciate everything I got from him. I don't think
- 34:38Speaker 2: I would have been talking to Einstein had I not
- 34:39Speaker 2: been in that experience, frankly. The dissociation. But no, he
- 34:44Speaker 2: doesn't get to meet my life. So two months before
- 34:47Speaker 2: he died, he called. And I hadn't talked to him
- 34:49Speaker 2: in years. And I picked it up. The first thing
- 34:51Speaker 2: he said was, I bought that Einstein book you wrote.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And I don't understand it all, but I think you
- 34:57Speaker 2: are on to something. We had a fun, loving conversation.
- 35:03Speaker 2: And he started calling back and I didn't answer. When
- 35:06Speaker 2: he died, my mom said, okay, do you regret it?
- 35:09Speaker 2: I was like, I don't. Our souls continue on in afterlife,
- 35:15Speaker 2: working and evolving and learning. And the first thing that
- 35:18Speaker 2: he did on the other side was go, oh, I
- 35:25Speaker 2: get it. And that was the start of another leg
- 35:28Speaker 2: of the healing. It's hard because you don't want to
- 35:33Speaker 2: blame the victim. It's your fault. No, this is an experiment.
- 35:38Speaker 2: to see if their theory works, that if we first
- 35:41Speaker 2: resolve it here, let's try it. We've got nothing to lose.
- 35:45Speaker 2: But the next piece is about feeling and breathing emotion.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Because she, like me, had abscessed emotions packed into my
- 35:56Speaker 2: body that never got to be felt through all that
- 36:00Speaker 2: time while you're being abused by your father. So love you,
- 36:03Speaker 2: but I'm not safe. What did that pattern do for
- 36:06Speaker 2: my life? So breathing, the new way of processing emotion
- 36:12Speaker 2: is not about analyzing. It's about being with it in
- 36:16Speaker 2: present moment. It's a wave. It's going to come up.
- 36:19Speaker 2: You're releasing the abscess that's blocking the peaceful resolution to things.
- 36:26Speaker 2: When I finally took it all on, I cried for
- 36:29Speaker 2: about a year and a half. But sometimes you get
- 36:32Speaker 2: into a release and... lasts me 24 hours. I'm crying,
- 36:38Speaker 2: but I'm not beating myself up. I'm going to feel
- 36:41Speaker 2: and breathe this as long as I need to. And
- 36:43Speaker 2: it always subsides. It's a wave. And then we loosen
- 36:47Speaker 2: the intellectual projection, like that projection that she wants to
- 36:53Speaker 2: really blame her father. She stared and it's because of him.
- 36:57Speaker 2: You loosen that and you start to release some of
- 37:00Speaker 2: the fear And then you have a little bit clearer
- 37:03Speaker 2: thinking where you can go, oh, all right. Okay. What
- 37:06Speaker 2: is this really about? And how can I make myself
- 37:10Speaker 2: feel safer? How can I self-care? How can I self-love?
- 37:15Speaker 2: Which is ultimately, I think, the thing we miss.
- 37:18Speaker 1: You're a great sharer of information. So thank you for
- 37:22Speaker 1: all of that. Thank you for sharing that. That's a
- 37:24Speaker 1: very personal story. And I appreciate your vulnerability with that.
- 37:28Speaker 1: when your mother's saying, aren't you going to regret it
- 37:30Speaker 1: when he passes away? I'm getting some confirmation chills on this.
- 37:32Speaker 1: And I'm laughing because to say that to a medium
- 37:34Speaker 1: is just funny to me because your relationship will only
- 37:38Speaker 1: get better when that happens. I can appreciate the story.
- 37:41Speaker 1: My sister passed almost exactly two years ago. I have
- 37:45Speaker 1: never had a better relationship with my sister. I was
- 37:48Speaker 1: just crying yesterday, but she did something and it just
- 37:51Speaker 1: really touched my heart and felt like such love. I
- 37:54Speaker 1: have so much hope for the relationships that we have
- 37:57Speaker 1: with people who've crossed over, we get to apologize to
- 38:00Speaker 1: each other, helping people resolve those kinds of relationships with
- 38:05Speaker 1: those that have crossed. They have to heal first. My
- 38:07Speaker 1: sister's told me that she fast-tracked her own healing process
- 38:11Speaker 1: because she wanted to engage with the work that I'm
- 38:13Speaker 1: doing and she has, as well as improving our relationship.
- 38:17Speaker 1: And now she even helps me cook. She was a
- 38:19Speaker 1: much better cook. She would have been happy to tell
- 38:21Speaker 1: you that when she was here. Now I'm like, I
- 38:24Speaker 1: don't know what to make. I can't even make it
- 38:25Speaker 1: taste good. Then she'll work with me on adding herbs
- 38:28Speaker 1: and spices and it's very sweet. People do heal and
- 38:32Speaker 1: come to a different place. My friend's mom, I think
- 38:35Speaker 1: she's been crossed over for 15 years and she finally
- 38:38Speaker 1: doesn't have that edge any longer that she had with
- 38:41Speaker 1: my friend. I've talked to people who crossed two weeks
- 38:44Speaker 1: ago and they're completely different. One woman, it had been
- 38:48Speaker 1: a couple of days. We can have this quantum leap
- 38:51Speaker 1: into becoming more of who our soul's version really is
- 38:56Speaker 1: versus how we've lived for years, breaking out of being miserable. Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 1: You are such a wealth of information. What are you
- 39:04Speaker 1: most excited about now? You come across as feeling joyful
- 39:07Speaker 1: about your life's work.
- 39:09Speaker 2: In 2023, I decided to go on my world peace
- 39:14Speaker 2: tour for the rest of my life. It started out
- 39:17Speaker 2: with a big bang. I traveled for three months across
- 39:20Speaker 2: the UK and into Belgium and France and Oslo and
- 39:24Speaker 2: came back here. When I spoke at the conference last summer,
- 39:28Speaker 2: it was like I said, a retirement experience. This is
- 39:31Speaker 2: the 25th anniversary of the publishing of Party of 12,
- 39:35Speaker 2: the first Party of 12. And I got the call
- 39:40Speaker 2: to publish a 25th anniversary edition with updates. So that
- 39:45Speaker 2: is what I'm working on now. I hope to get
- 39:47Speaker 2: it out this year. And in those updates, they talk
- 39:52Speaker 2: about the divine timing of the original party, that they
- 39:58Speaker 2: wanted that to be published right before 9-11, as close
- 40:02Speaker 2: as possible. Wow. This new edition is buoyed by this date,
- 40:11Speaker 2: September 11th. This is the day that changed But honestly,
- 40:16Speaker 2: I'm very much excited about the fact that, and this
- 40:19Speaker 2: is personal, that I've reached a point where I don't
- 40:23Speaker 2: have a lot of attachment to what's going to happen.
- 40:29Speaker 2: I've reached a point of such deep contentment and satisfaction
- 40:33Speaker 2: and truth in my own life that, for example, I
- 40:37Speaker 2: have a decision coming up in the fall. I live
- 40:40Speaker 2: on this little island in Lake Superior. And I often
- 40:43Speaker 2: leave in the winter and run out my house. And
- 40:46Speaker 2: I have a couple people interested in this there, or
- 40:50Speaker 2: should I stay and what? And when I get in
- 40:52Speaker 2: the middle of the night and I start to worry
- 40:53Speaker 2: and I think, no, I don't care. Whatever God is
- 40:59Speaker 2: going to bring me, I am going to rejoice in.
- 41:01Speaker 2: It's not being a rock star. It's not being wildly
- 41:06Speaker 2: wealthy or internationally famous, but it's a real deal. It's
- 41:11Speaker 2: us being able to just every day wake up and
- 41:14Speaker 2: have such gratitude and joy and hope, which I do.
- 41:19Speaker 2: It's sort of self-feeding. The more that I can get
- 41:25Speaker 2: through a wave of anxiety about the future by taking
- 41:29Speaker 2: control of my intellect and feeling and breathing and settling
- 41:32Speaker 2: back into gratitude. I just have such hope because if
- 41:37Speaker 2: I can do it, I think anybody can. I came
- 41:42Speaker 2: from a terrible background. I was an addict and rageaholic.
- 41:46Speaker 2: If I can do it, then anybody can do it.
- 41:48Speaker 2: And the world is ready. People are ready. They want
- 41:51Speaker 2: to know. They're willing to do the work themselves. And
- 41:54Speaker 2: that's what excites me.
- 41:56Speaker 1: And what a beautiful thing. The word glorious is coming
- 41:59Speaker 1: to me, like the idea of knowing the rest of
- 42:02Speaker 1: my life, this is my thing, and to be content
- 42:05Speaker 1: with that.
- 42:08Speaker 2: After 40-some years and going through so much anguish of
- 42:13Speaker 2: my psyche, like having it take three years to realize
- 42:17Speaker 2: that Einstein was with me, if I had an issue
- 42:20Speaker 2: with health, it would be mental health that I've struggled with.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Is this real? Is this going on? What happened? to
- 42:27Speaker 2: be in this place of utter peace and contentment. So
- 42:32Speaker 2: much hope for the world. You've also really done the work.
- 42:37Speaker 1: It channeled through you what to do and how to
- 42:39Speaker 1: do it, but you still had to choose to do it.
- 42:42Speaker 2: And engage in it. That's the operative thing that they
- 42:45Speaker 2: said in the 25th anniversary update. I asked, what did
- 42:49Speaker 2: you learn? We learned, A, that our theory works, and B,
- 42:54Speaker 2: that you can lead a horse to water. We're constantly
- 42:58Speaker 2: trying to come up with ways to inspire you because
- 43:01Speaker 2: you have to be the one to choose to make
- 43:05Speaker 2: the decision, to revolve your focus, to feel and breathe.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Nobody can do that for them.
- 43:11Speaker 1: So you've written books, working on the 25th anniversary edition
- 43:15Speaker 1: of Party of Twelve. What other offerings or services or
- 43:20Speaker 1: legacy pieces have you left for people to learn from?
- 43:23Speaker 2: Psychic Sorority Library are seven books that I've written all
- 43:28Speaker 2: on documenting this and documenting Einstein and the party and such.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Something you might be interested in. I wrote a book
- 43:34Speaker 2: called Guerrilla Publishing, how to publish, how to write, finish,
- 43:39Speaker 2: and publish your own book in your own small business
- 43:42Speaker 2: for the most maximum profit that you can get. I
- 43:45Speaker 2: learned that over I think I have 11 books that
- 43:48Speaker 2: I've published since we published Diaries of a Psychic Sorority.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I became something of a self-publishing font of wisdom. I
- 43:55Speaker 2: wrote that book, Gorilla Publishing. I also did some kind
- 43:59Speaker 2: of socially conscious books. I did a book called Unintimidated
- 44:03Speaker 2: Wisconsin Sings Truth to Power, which was a documentary nonfiction
- 44:08Speaker 2: book about a singing protest in Wisconsin that took place.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Back in 2011-12, I wrote a book called Steal This Book,
- 44:16Speaker 2: Not My Vote, because I was a whistleblower at the
- 44:22Speaker 2: 2011 Wisconsin Supreme Court election. The Democrat candidate won, and
- 44:29Speaker 2: two days later they found 14,000 votes in the closet.
- 44:33Speaker 2: So I was at the recount, and then I saw
- 44:36Speaker 2: the fraud, and then I blew the whistle and sent
- 44:39Speaker 2: to the Department of Justice and wrote this book. I
- 44:42Speaker 2: did a book called Madeline Island Artist Colony because I
- 44:46Speaker 2: live in a place that's so special and has so
- 44:48Speaker 2: much artistry. And it really is an artist colony that
- 44:53Speaker 2: I featured. It's more of a photography book. Publishing all
- 44:56Speaker 2: of this has opened doors for me. And then I
- 44:59Speaker 2: help people publish their books. On my website, barbarawith.com, I've
- 45:05Speaker 2: got meditations, masterclasses. if they want to dig into the
- 45:09Speaker 2: Einstein material, a down and dirty conflict revolution course that
- 45:15Speaker 2: I teach video-wise, readings, all kinds of stuff. So yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 2: I got a pretty broad offering. You do. I'll put
- 45:25Speaker 2: the information in the show notes. Great. What would you
- 45:28Speaker 2: like to leave people with today? I always like to
- 45:32Speaker 2: assure people that when we're doing our personal work, oftentimes
- 45:38Speaker 2: laborious and painful. Yeah. I don't want us to lose
- 45:44Speaker 2: sight that this is the work of world peace. It's
- 45:49Speaker 2: a byproduct, but we cannot get there unless we all
- 45:55Speaker 2: do this minutia of mastering our own domain and coming
- 46:01Speaker 2: to align to compassion ourselves. And one by one, is
- 46:06Speaker 2: how we're going to do it. It may seem like
- 46:09Speaker 2: we should fix, we should replace the leaders. None of
- 46:12Speaker 2: that's going to work until we do our own work.
- 46:16Speaker 2: So don't be disheartened. It's always a wave. As my
- 46:20Speaker 2: mother used to say, this too will pass. And each
- 46:24Speaker 2: step will bring us to a brighter place eventually.
- 46:28Speaker 1: I love that because I am one of the voters
- 46:30Speaker 1: who thinks, what does my vote matter? But what you're describing,
- 46:35Speaker 1: I can feel the inspiration. That's actually a tangible task
- 46:38Speaker 1: I can take on. And I will actually feel the difference.
- 46:43Speaker 1: That's a beautiful piece of wisdom to share.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I could talk to you and listen to you and
- 46:49Speaker 1: ask you questions for a few more hours, but I'll
- 46:51Speaker 1: respect your time. I would love for you to come back.
- 46:54Speaker 1: It has been an honor and a joy talking to you.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And I'm really feeling that.
- 46:58Speaker 2: I really mean that.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being here with me today.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Thank you on behalf of our listeners for sharing the
- 47:04Speaker 1: good work that you've always done and that you continue doing.
- 47:07Speaker 1: It is a pleasure meeting you.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Thank you, Noelle. Bye-bye.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being with us today. If
- 47:15Speaker 1: you'd like support as you continue your own exploring, You
- 47:19Speaker 1: can find information about my classes, readings, and other offerings
- 47:22Speaker 1: at connectingwithnoelle.com. If today's conversation made you think of someone,
- 47:27Speaker 1: I'd love it if you would share this with them.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Take good care, and I look forward to being with
- 47:32Speaker 1: you again soon.
