- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simon Show, Live from the wor Life
- 0:04Speaker 1: Back studios.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's gonna be a rainy day today. That
- 0:11Speaker 2: could be heavyer times later. Today it's Thursday. I got
- 0:14Speaker 2: one more day. Tomorrow'll be a nice day, and then
- 0:16Speaker 2: you got the weekend. We're it's gonna rain again. This
- 0:18Speaker 2: has been one lousy summer weather wise. Hey, it's National
- 0:22Speaker 2: Radio Today today. I don't know what the hell that means.
- 0:26Speaker 2: National Radio Day. They've got a day for everything else,
- 0:29Speaker 2: might as well be a National radio to day. You
- 0:31Speaker 2: know how many people listen to the radio in nineteen
- 0:34Speaker 2: seventy six, ninety two percent of America ninety two percent.
- 0:41Speaker 2: You know how many people listen to radio today, ninety
- 0:45Speaker 2: two percent. It didn't change, same amount of people listen
- 0:48Speaker 2: to the radio today that listen years ago. How many
- 0:51Speaker 2: people listen to the radio every day, one hundred and
- 0:53Speaker 2: fifty nine million. Actually it's one hundred and sixty three million.
- 0:59Speaker 2: You got about sixty million that listened to talk radio
- 1:02Speaker 2: every day. So it's doing pretty well. National Radio Day today.
- 1:06Speaker 2: In fact, we're having a big iHeart event tonight actually
- 1:09Speaker 2: this afternoon and this evening at two Park Avenue that's
- 1:13Speaker 2: a beautiful rooftop venue high above Park Avenue. All our
- 1:17Speaker 2: big sponsors, advertisers, and there we will have all the
- 1:21Speaker 2: top radio hosts in New York will all be there
- 1:25Speaker 2: to meet them and should be pretty interesting. So this
- 1:30Speaker 2: El Sayad in Michigan, this creepy, anti Semitic, awful guy,
- 1:35Speaker 2: this socialist El Sayad, now he's talking about going even
- 1:39Speaker 2: further than Bernie Sanders, that there should be a public
- 1:44Speaker 2: ownership of major US industries. You see, they always try
- 1:47Speaker 2: to make it sound like they're not communists, that they're socialists,
- 1:51Speaker 2: but they're talking about seizing the company's, seizing control of industry,
- 1:56Speaker 2: seizing control of the means of production. And he just
- 1:59Speaker 2: came out and said it. He came right out and
- 2:02Speaker 2: said it. He said the government. He said, well, he's
- 2:05Speaker 2: saying the government should not take ownership of but they
- 2:08Speaker 2: should have seats on the board. They should have public
- 2:11Speaker 2: control of the companies. Now you're talking out and out communism.
- 2:17Speaker 2: This is all going to fizzle out at some point.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's going to be the end of Democrats. It's great
- 2:22Speaker 2: to see the civil war taking place in the Democratic Party.
- 2:26Speaker 2: But and I know in Florida, the Socialist crazy one
- 2:31Speaker 2: her primary in one of those districts. But that's only
- 2:33Speaker 2: because she was up against the creepiest guy in the world,
- 2:36Speaker 2: Alexander Vinman, that rotten little worm that he was part
- 2:41Speaker 2: of the worst impeachment hoax ever perpetrated, and he was
- 2:46Speaker 2: so repulsive for the public. They couldn't vote against this
- 2:48Speaker 2: guy fast enough. That's the only reason that Socialist one. Hey.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Crypto is doing very well today because the President had
- 2:56Speaker 2: this big crypto meeting yesterday. People talking about regulating crypto
- 3:02Speaker 2: and he's talking about they've got to pass just the
- 3:06Speaker 2: right regulation that allows it to grow. So it caused
- 3:09Speaker 2: crypto to go way up today. Now the President, in
- 3:14Speaker 2: some ways, he's like a kid, he's like a crypto guy.
- 3:16Speaker 2: He's a texting and tweeting. And they had a meeting
- 3:19Speaker 2: of all these big crypto guys, even the Winklevoss twins.
- 3:24Speaker 2: You remember the Winklevoss twins from Connecticut, These two rowing
- 3:28Speaker 2: team looking idiots. There they were there, here's the President.
- 3:32Speaker 3: It's taking a lot of pressure off the dollar.
- 3:35Speaker 2: It's been very, very good for the dollar.
- 3:37Speaker 4: And I think if you.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Came in with recommendations two of you, if you came
- 3:40Speaker 3: in with some recommendations, I would certainly listen.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so very friendly with the crypto community. Now some
- 3:46Speaker 2: will yell and screambale. He's profiting off the crypto market himself,
- 3:50Speaker 2: his family, they're making fortune off crypto. Well good if
- 3:53Speaker 2: you can figure out that crypto market. I can't. Well
- 3:57Speaker 2: good for you. Hey, you know what a big day Maderna.
- 4:00Speaker 2: There's a new cancer vaccine that will prevent the worst
- 4:04Speaker 2: form of skin cancer. But this new cancer vaccine did
- 4:08Speaker 2: very well in these clinical trials, and these initial data
- 4:12Speaker 2: studies looks like I mean just early trials. Well actually
- 4:15Speaker 2: it's late stage trials, but it looks like it's working.
- 4:18Speaker 2: That would be a big thing, that cancer vaccine. So
- 4:21Speaker 2: Maderna stock yesterday up one hundred and seventy seven percent,
- 4:26Speaker 2: one hundred and seventy seven percent. As we mentioned before,
- 4:30Speaker 2: Fauci's chief guy, doctor David Morenz. This is the guy
- 4:35Speaker 2: Fauci was in cahoots with and we didn't. He was
- 4:39Speaker 2: asked to testify publicly a few years ago about this.
- 4:42Speaker 2: David Morenz and Fauci publicly in the hearing under oath
- 4:46Speaker 2: the time. I don't know the guy. I'm not aware
- 4:49Speaker 2: of him. I don't communicate with him. No, I don't
- 4:52Speaker 2: know who he is. And well, the diary comes out
- 4:56Speaker 2: and he's communicating with him day and night. They're texting
- 4:58Speaker 2: back and forth, they're send an email else back and forth.
- 5:01Speaker 2: The reason is David Morenz was the guy involved in
- 5:05Speaker 2: covering up where the virus came from. It leaked out
- 5:08Speaker 2: of that lab and Morenz was busy covering it up.
- 5:11Speaker 2: So that's why Fauci denied knowing the guy. But if
- 5:13Speaker 2: you look through the diary stuff, it's clear that he
- 5:17Speaker 2: and this guy are busy covering up that it came
- 5:20Speaker 2: out of the lab that they funded. They're doing everything
- 5:23Speaker 2: to cover this up. So the two of them in cahoots. Well,
- 5:26Speaker 2: this David Morenz was convicted. He actually pled guilty because
- 5:32Speaker 2: they had him, they had him covering up the origins
- 5:36Speaker 2: of the virus. He was convicted. He's scheduled to be
- 5:39Speaker 2: sentenced by November twelfth, and he's facing five years in prison. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 2: it'll be interesting will he talk for a lesser sentence? Now?
- 5:49Speaker 2: The problem is Fauchi was given a pardon by Joe Biden,
- 5:53Speaker 2: which covers the activity during that period back then, So
- 5:59Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean they could try to. Usually,
- 6:02Speaker 2: if you got dirt on Fauci or somebody, you try
- 6:06Speaker 2: to trade it to get a lesser sentence. I don't
- 6:08Speaker 2: know what's going to happen with that. Also, it's the
- 6:11Speaker 2: US district judge in Maryland. I know, you get these
- 6:13Speaker 2: left wing judges. They don't want to have any dirt
- 6:16Speaker 2: on Fauci. They want to preserve the false reputation of
- 6:20Speaker 2: this awful Fauci. Mayor Mondanni. You know he loves to
- 6:24Speaker 2: ride a bike. He's always zipping around New York on
- 6:27Speaker 2: his city bike with a suit and tie on and
- 6:30Speaker 2: no helmet. They're always yelling at him he's not wearing
- 6:32Speaker 2: a helmet. Well, he made a big deal out of
- 6:34Speaker 2: getting a bike helmet. He doesn't accomplish much, but he
- 6:39Speaker 2: accomplished this. He actually got himself a bike helmet. And
- 6:42Speaker 2: of course it's mom Donnie. So what did he do.
- 6:45Speaker 2: He made a video he tiktoked about it, and there's
- 6:48Speaker 2: a video going viral TikTok Instagram of Mom Donnie and
- 6:53Speaker 2: his new bike helmet, still wearing a suit and tie
- 6:56Speaker 2: when he rides a bike around. Though, we're telling about
- 7:00Speaker 2: these Bagel places. All of a sudden, they're everywhere. Like
- 7:03Speaker 2: Utopia Bagel that was in Queens, best bagels in New York,
- 7:08Speaker 2: most critics agreed, and now they're everywhere. The two in Manhattan,
- 7:12Speaker 2: there's three in Manhattan. They're opening here, they're opening there,
- 7:15Speaker 2: and you see this all the time. Now the new
- 7:16Speaker 2: one is pop up bagels. What happens is and it
- 7:20Speaker 2: was created by a couple of kids in Connecticut. Pop
- 7:22Speaker 2: up bagels. They're really good. But what happens is you
- 7:26Speaker 2: become really hot, you open in Manhattan, you become very successful,
- 7:29Speaker 2: and then hedge fund guys show up, and hedge fund
- 7:33Speaker 2: guys will pump in whatever you go to you need
- 7:34Speaker 2: two hundred million, we'll open them all over the country.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And this is happening with a lot of these bagel places.
- 7:40Speaker 2: That's gonna be the new thing. Normally outside of New York,
- 7:42Speaker 2: they've never seen a bagel, but now they're everywhere. Pop
- 7:46Speaker 2: up bagels. They're going to open a couple of hundred
- 7:48Speaker 2: of these, and again hedge fund guys pumping money in.
- 7:51Speaker 2: They're starting to spread all over the place. If you're
- 7:52Speaker 2: in Long Island, you got one in Rosalind, but you're
- 7:56Speaker 2: getting more. There's one coming to Garden City, there's one
- 7:59Speaker 2: coming to Huntington Station, and huntings and Station. Hey, you
- 8:04Speaker 2: hedge fund guys, you should switch that to Huntington a
- 8:06Speaker 2: little little better. But you're going to see these all
- 8:10Speaker 2: over the place, and it's going to happen chained by chain.
- 8:12Speaker 2: These hedge fund guys now hunting around for a chain
- 8:15Speaker 2: that can pump a few hundred million into open all
- 8:18Speaker 2: over the place. Hey, those crazy gen zers. Well, it's
- 8:24Speaker 2: mostly the men, though apparently the it's a new trend
- 8:26Speaker 2: among gen zers to not work. They are dropping out
- 8:31Speaker 2: of the job market. The male gen zers, the lowest
- 8:35Speaker 2: percentage ever are now working. These are people between eighteen
- 8:38Speaker 2: and thirty four. They don't believe in working anymore. It's
- 8:42Speaker 2: too hard. You got to go to work, you have to,
- 8:46Speaker 2: it's too much trouble. They can't be body. So they're
- 8:49Speaker 2: basically sitting at home, many of them living with their parents.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Why is this a sociologist studying this thing. They're the
- 8:57Speaker 2: most pessimistic generation ever and they're skeptical of capitalism. They're
- 9:03Speaker 2: skeptical of capitalism. They don't really believe in it. They'd
- 9:06Speaker 2: rather sit at home and they like socialism. That's why
- 9:10Speaker 2: they like socialism. They don't want to work, they'd like
- 9:12Speaker 2: to sit at home. Thank you to all of you
- 9:15Speaker 2: college professors who drilled this into these kids, said, thank you, Harvard, Columbia,
- 9:20Speaker 2: all you Ivy League schools who were turned out from
- 9:23Speaker 2: your indoctrination camp. Millions have screwed up gen zers who
- 9:28Speaker 2: can't work, who vote for mom Donnie Hey. Out in
- 9:32Speaker 2: the Hamptons, they had a the Southampton Playhouse. You know,
- 9:38Speaker 2: you go out there to these things, you always hear
- 9:40Speaker 2: about the glamorous Hampton's. Ooh, the Southampton Playhouse, the Hampton's this,
- 9:45Speaker 2: the Hampton's Galley. You know, when you get out there
- 9:47Speaker 2: to these things, they're pretty glitzy fancy. But everybody's eighty five.
- 9:51Speaker 2: They're all old. They're all sixty five, seventy seventy five.
- 9:56Speaker 2: If you're sixty year kid out in the Hamptons, they're
- 9:58Speaker 2: all old, and every one of how are you? How
- 10:01Speaker 2: are you? And they got nothing to do most of
- 10:05Speaker 2: the time. You know, all these these Hampton's people, they
- 10:08Speaker 2: don't ever go to the beach, they don't play golf.
- 10:11Speaker 2: They just go to restaurants, they go to parties, They
- 10:14Speaker 2: go to Gallas. If this is not a joke. One
- 10:18Speaker 2: of them who lived in a big, fabulous house in
- 10:20Speaker 2: Southampton I said something about it. I was at the
- 10:23Speaker 2: beach and she said, what beach? I said, there's a beach.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Where's there a beach? I said, down at the end
- 10:28Speaker 2: of your street, down at Dune Road. I mean you
- 10:31Speaker 2: have to go through the trees, but there's a what beach.
- 10:33Speaker 2: If they hadn't living there twenty years, had no idea
- 10:35Speaker 2: there's a beach there. But the other thing they do
- 10:39Speaker 2: is they have movies they go to It's like movie night.
- 10:41Speaker 2: This is like going to camp where you have movie night.
- 10:43Speaker 2: So movie night last week was the Southampton Playhouse. Guess
- 10:46Speaker 2: what movie they showed, Sweet Charity. Yeah, that's that nineteen
- 10:52Speaker 2: sixty nine movie. That's how old this crowd is. They
- 10:55Speaker 2: show an old musical from nineteen sixty nine, but to
- 10:58Speaker 2: this crowd it's good enough for them. That starred Shirley McLain.
- 11:03Speaker 2: So they got Shirley McClain to do a video. Before
- 11:06Speaker 2: the movie starts, they would show a video of her
- 11:08Speaker 2: welcoming the audience. She's ninety two now and you can
- 11:12Speaker 2: find the video online, but you'll get upset. Don't look
- 11:16Speaker 2: at it. Oh my god, what she looks like now
- 11:20Speaker 2: ninety two. She looks one hundred and fifty in this video.
- 11:22Speaker 2: It's just not you would never recognize you, You never know
- 11:25Speaker 2: who it is. So they got her, it says, they
- 11:28Speaker 2: got her to do it. She's ninety two, sitting at
- 11:30Speaker 2: home with nothing to do, probably couldn't believe anybody was
- 11:32Speaker 2: asking her for anything. But she said, I want you
- 11:37Speaker 2: to see Sweet Charity again now while you're watching it.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Remember how hard we worked. And she said, between you
- 11:43Speaker 2: and me, it didn't do very well. So I hope
- 11:45Speaker 2: you guys like it. So that's what they do. In
- 11:49Speaker 2: the Hampton's on movie night they see an old film
- 11:51Speaker 2: that bombed in nineteen sixty nine, but for them good enough.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Why not? So hey leechionnaire's disease and hearing about that much.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It disappeared from the news, but that legionnaire's disease is
- 12:04Speaker 2: still popping up. In fact, I hate to say it,
- 12:07Speaker 2: but there's been a couple of problems in midtown Manhattan.
- 12:10Speaker 2: There's won a fifty ninth and seventh legionnaire's disease popping
- 12:15Speaker 2: up a little here and there. Now you got West
- 12:17Speaker 2: Nile virus to worry about. The first case is turned
- 12:21Speaker 2: up in New York. Nationally, two hundred and twenty two
- 12:26Speaker 2: cases of West Nile virus, it's mostly Arizona, California, and Texas,
- 12:31Speaker 2: but the first case showed up in New York. Now,
- 12:33Speaker 2: it could be that they didn't get it here, that
- 12:35Speaker 2: they got it somewhere else and came here. You get
- 12:38Speaker 2: it from Mosquitos, so be very careful of that. Now,
- 12:44Speaker 2: the CDC says it's easily preventable, very easily where insect
- 12:50Speaker 2: repellent cover up during dawn and dusk. Well, that doesn't
- 12:56Speaker 2: sound I got a fun spraying yourself with insect repellent
- 12:58Speaker 2: covering up everything in the middle of the hot summer.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That doesn't sound that easy to get it. And it
- 13:03Speaker 2: says also get rid of standing water around your home. Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 2: that's very important. That's how you get that Legionnaire's disease too.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It's standing water in those cooling tanks up there, and
- 13:14Speaker 2: you get it when it's very very very very hot,
- 13:18Speaker 2: standing water. And remember we had a couple of heat waves.
- 13:20Speaker 2: That's why all of a sudden we got it here. Hey,
- 13:23Speaker 2: President Trump says he'll meet with Kim Jung un, and
- 13:28Speaker 2: he'll visit him, meet with him. I don't just say
- 13:30Speaker 2: the White House. He may go there, but he's you know,
- 13:35Speaker 2: there's always a rumors about how many nuclear weapons North
- 13:41Speaker 2: Korea has. How many nuclear weapons does Kim Jung un have? Well,
- 13:46Speaker 2: intelligence assessment said fifty and sixty. But Trump, when he
- 13:50Speaker 2: was speaking, let the numbers slip out. I don't know
- 13:51Speaker 2: if you're supposed to say it, but he said he
- 13:53Speaker 2: has fifty seven very powerful nuclear weapons. So the intelligence
- 13:57Speaker 2: reports were once, we're pretty accurate, fifty seven nuclear weapons.
- 14:02Speaker 2: But Trump has figured out how to appease this guy,
- 14:05Speaker 2: this Kim Jong un, keep him quiet, keep them peaceful. Now,
- 14:09Speaker 2: the problem is you'll get another president. We'll rile this
- 14:12Speaker 2: nutjob up again, so you never know. Hey, we'll take
- 14:15Speaker 2: some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 14:19Speaker 2: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 14:24Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Mark Simon, This to New York now three hours every
- 14:29Speaker 1: weekday from nine till now seven Tenor.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. If you've never called before.
- 14:37Speaker 2: We always like to have new callers. Eight hundred three
- 14:40Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 14:44Speaker 2: three two, one zero seven ten. Let's go to Alan
- 14:48Speaker 2: parsippany Al.
- 14:49Speaker 5: How you doing, hi, mister Simone. Yes, Al, I just
- 14:54Speaker 5: like your comments on that stout business after I had
- 15:01Speaker 5: this second.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Take your time rush, I won't. I can tell you.
- 15:10Speaker 2: That's all.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Now, you're fastest thinker than I am.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Joe Biden, go ahead.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Okay, thank you. I just love your funny way of
- 15:21Speaker 5: insulted because I'm not insulted.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You know, we love you. What's that I said? It's
- 15:29Speaker 2: it's hot in the studio. I don't know why I can't.
- 15:31Speaker 2: The air conditions are not working.
- 15:33Speaker 5: I'm cool, but that's another matter.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I'll be the judge of that.
- 15:36Speaker 5: But anyway, I love your humor.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, twelve minutes into the phone call, you haven't got.
- 15:46Speaker 5: The first finished look after the second one. Yeah, I
- 15:51Speaker 5: just said, there's nobody getting stick around me and I'm.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Shut in, So well, why don't you get out more?
- 15:57Speaker 5: Al, I'm trying into but I got an issue. I
- 16:02Speaker 5: can't drive, and.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Okay, but you can get out and walk around right.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Yeah. What I really wanted to do is take dance lessons.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Let's not get let's not get let's not got crazy.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Al Oh, you know what like for a long time.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I like that ballroom dancing idea of the lessons. Let's
- 16:22Speaker 2: tell you meet some women there, al some older women
- 16:24Speaker 2: perfect for you.
- 16:25Speaker 5: That's true. Yeah, but I had never had to sue it.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Now you sound like quite the ladies man. All you
- 16:31Speaker 2: need to just get out there.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Well, I'm not really interested in a relationship.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I just no, you sound more like the one night
- 16:39Speaker 2: stand guy. Don't worry. You don't need a relationship.
- 16:41Speaker 5: You're like a well if it's dance wise, you're like
- 16:44Speaker 5: a one and done guy.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Are you still associated with sactions like make believe ballroom?
- 16:54Speaker 2: You know that was years ago? They old make believe ballroom?
- 16:57Speaker 5: Yeah, that was w I'm trying to Dan waiting.
- 17:00Speaker 4: It's back all right, al Well, great talking to you
- 17:03Speaker 4: the music.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Thanks for checking in with us. We're going to go
- 17:06Speaker 2: back to twenty twenty six. But you're a good guy.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Al thanks for thanks for a calling. Let's go to
- 17:12Speaker 2: Nancy and Staten Island. Nancy, how you doing.
- 17:15Speaker 6: I'm great, Mark, Thanks so much for taking my call.
- 17:17Speaker 6: I enjoy you and I enjoy the new extra hour
- 17:20Speaker 6: and learn so much from you.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, thank you for listening. We really appreciate it.
- 17:25Speaker 6: So I have a thought, Yes, with these crazy Trump
- 17:29Speaker 6: deranged liberal leaders, do you think that since common sense
- 17:35Speaker 6: is completely absent, that they're actually using socialism as a
- 17:39Speaker 6: solution to the border, Like they'll go that far to
- 17:42Speaker 6: say they can't say yeah, Trump, you're right, so yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 6: you're right, we have to fix this, but they'll go
- 17:48Speaker 6: so far as to use socialism.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Nah, I mean, I understand what you're saying. No, I
- 17:52Speaker 2: think they're just stupid. They just it's they all came
- 17:54Speaker 2: out of these ridiculous indoctrination center universities, Harvard Columbia, all
- 17:59Speaker 2: these plays and what was that George Will said once
- 18:04Speaker 2: every twenty years, we've got to do this socialism fad
- 18:07Speaker 2: to remind people of how stupid it is. But it's
- 18:10Speaker 2: a good point, Nancy. But now I think they just
- 18:13Speaker 2: they just don't know any better. They're actually that stupid
- 18:16Speaker 2: that they think they think it can actually work. Well,
- 18:19Speaker 2: let's go to Joe in Elmwood Park. Joe, how you.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Doing, good morning, Mark, Could you help me out.
- 18:24Speaker 5: I always hear the Chinese.
- 18:26Speaker 8: Are buying this building, they're buying this.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Property, the only way they could buychub is Americans selling
- 18:30Speaker 3: it to them.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it's a good point. They should restrict some
- 18:35Speaker 2: I mean, you can't ban Chinese from buying, but these
- 18:37Speaker 2: like this property right next to the White House bought
- 18:40Speaker 2: by a Chinese businessman who's tied into Chinese military, Chinese government.
- 18:46Speaker 2: He's been had sniper training. This is not a guy
- 18:49Speaker 2: you want next to the White House. And China going
- 18:52Speaker 2: around buying up all the land next to our food
- 18:55Speaker 2: supply and next to our military basis, there should be
- 18:59Speaker 2: a law against that. I mean, it's too suspicious that
- 19:03Speaker 2: they go into the middle of the heartland of America,
- 19:06Speaker 2: buy up all the land around a vital food supply area,
- 19:09Speaker 2: buy up the land around a military base. It's pretty suspicious,
- 19:13Speaker 2: and you're right, that should be banned. Let's go to Dennis,
- 19:16Speaker 2: New York City. Dennis, how you doing.
- 19:19Speaker 8: I'm fine. I just wanted to remind you that our
- 19:23Speaker 8: President Clinton, he avoided the draft by running to Canada
- 19:28Speaker 8: asking for asylum. They wouldn't give it to him, so
- 19:31Speaker 8: then he went to England. So we've had a president
- 19:34Speaker 8: who avoided it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Had lots of presidents. Hey, that was the thing back then.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Most people avoided the draft, whether it was Trump, whether
- 19:41Speaker 2: it was Biden. Biden got five student.
- 19:43Speaker 8: Deferments, but he left the country.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well Clinton, you know, listen, it was a lot
- 19:50Speaker 2: easier for Trump. He had a powerful father, a lot
- 19:53Speaker 2: of connections, he was able to take care of things.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Biden was in a very sleazy place, Delaware, where you
- 19:59Speaker 2: could pull all kinds of crap. And but for Bill Clinton,
- 20:02Speaker 2: he was from Arkansas. Yeah, there was a senator who
- 20:04Speaker 2: was the senator that tried to help him was there
- 20:07Speaker 2: was a big senator in Arkansas who tried to help
- 20:10Speaker 2: him get out of the draft. But it was normal
- 20:12Speaker 2: back then. People tried to avoid it. I mean, some
- 20:14Speaker 2: guys were great and went and served, but a lot
- 20:16Speaker 2: of people, uh tried to get out of it. Let's
- 20:19Speaker 2: go do what's the name is it? Glossop in Long Island? Glossop?
- 20:25Speaker 7: Hello, Yes, yes, this miss Glossop.
- 20:28Speaker 2: In Long is Oh, Miss Glossop. Okay, we're going to
- 20:30Speaker 2: be formal here.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Oh oh okay. Anyhow that crazy guy sell salami pastrami,
- 20:38Speaker 7: the one that talking about men being masculine, tough, toxic masculinity.
- 20:44Speaker 7: What is that supposed to mean?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Uh? It means you're too masculine, too male. It means
- 20:49Speaker 2: you're supposed to act like supposed to have purple hair
- 20:52Speaker 2: and a nose ring and behave like that. Where do
- 20:55Speaker 2: you live in Long Island Beach? Lido Beach? That's very nice? Beautiful?
- 21:01Speaker 3: Yes?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Right underwater? All right?
- 21:04Speaker 7: Right? Misclop If he's talking like that, he's a Muslim.
- 21:08Speaker 7: How they treat their women well, not so good?
- 21:12Speaker 4: Right?
- 21:12Speaker 7: So how could he dare even question it or say
- 21:15Speaker 7: something like that?
- 21:15Speaker 5: Stupid?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, all right, well thanks for calling. Let's go
- 21:19Speaker 2: to uh, let's go to Katherine Waterford, Connecticut. Catherine, how
- 21:23Speaker 2: you doing?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Hey?
- 21:25Speaker 9: Mark?
- 21:26Speaker 3: Hi?
- 21:27Speaker 9: I was hired by ge in two thousand and two
- 21:30Speaker 9: thousand and one to go to Ballyan in China and
- 21:35Speaker 9: do a few things. And I was told by corporate
- 21:38Speaker 9: there that Chinese only can own land in China period.
- 21:44Speaker 3: No.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Other countries are very careful about that stuff. We I
- 21:47Speaker 2: don't know why we're letting China buy all the land
- 21:49Speaker 2: near military bases. Yeah, no, they're very careful.
- 21:52Speaker 9: I think, what do you I just think you know
- 21:54Speaker 9: it's you know, borrowing. Let's only discuss in China if
- 21:58Speaker 9: that's their rule of thumb. Thank for us to GE
- 22:01Speaker 9: to build a big office building and do their business there.
- 22:04Speaker 9: But always think any day now they could tell us ours. Now,
- 22:07Speaker 9: then we should.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Say to them.
- 22:09Speaker 9: Yeah, same for you guys, No more, you need to bak.
- 22:12Speaker 4: We're not going to allow you to own land in
- 22:13Speaker 4: the US anymore.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Very good point. Excellent. So you're working for GE. They
- 22:17Speaker 2: have a big office in Fairfield. Couldn't you say, why
- 22:19Speaker 2: don't you send me there instead of China?
- 22:22Speaker 9: Well, the what do you call it? The gal that
- 22:25Speaker 9: I was working with was head of general resources and
- 22:28Speaker 9: she was actually out of Dally at that time.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Okay, well, yeah, that's a long commute to work China anyway,
- 22:35Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 22:35Speaker 9: God, I know she lived there for three years on
- 22:38Speaker 9: three years ago?
- 22:38Speaker 2: You call that living? But okay, thanks, no, thanks for calling, Catherine,
- 22:42Speaker 2: great call. Hey when we come back, the very funny
- 22:45Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla. He'll be with us next on seven to
- 22:49Speaker 2: ten w R.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Back to Marchamon.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Well, Jimmy Phylo, the great talk show host. But what
- 22:59Speaker 2: a funny comedian and he's on every night nine to
- 23:02Speaker 2: midnight on seven to ten WOR. Listen to the show.
- 23:05Speaker 2: You'll get hooked you'll get addicted. It's great nine to
- 23:08Speaker 2: midnight every weeknight here on WR And then you got
- 23:12Speaker 2: to watch his Saturday night show on the Fox News Channel.
- 23:15Speaker 2: It's the best late night show on television. President Trump
- 23:18Speaker 2: loves it. It is great ten o'clock Saturday night's Fox
- 23:21Speaker 2: News Channel. And we'll tell you how you can get
- 23:23Speaker 2: tickets to go see it in person. Jimmy Fayla, how
- 23:26Speaker 2: you doing?
- 23:28Speaker 3: You know what, man, I'm a little nervous because we're
- 23:30Speaker 3: sending Harry and Meghan back, and that is the most
- 23:34Speaker 3: inflammatory thing we've sent to a king since July fourth,
- 23:37Speaker 3: seventeen seventy six.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Like we might have a war on our hands after this.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I don't think the King wants them either, you know
- 23:45Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 23:46Speaker 2: If they came to you, Harry and Meghan and said,
- 23:49Speaker 2: we can't get anything going in America. We can't get
- 23:51Speaker 2: a job, we can't get anything, we can't get a show,
- 23:54Speaker 2: what would you advise him to do.
- 23:57Speaker 3: I mean, what they should have did, for real, is
- 24:00Speaker 3: they they should have never played.
- 24:02Speaker 4: The victim card, which is like, oh.
- 24:05Speaker 3: It's hard being a royal, you know, because they're not
- 24:07Speaker 3: real royals. They're like Kansas City Royals, you know, like
- 24:10Speaker 3: the baseball team, and the reality is she obviously married
- 24:14Speaker 3: him for the fame, and she that's kind of dwindled here,
- 24:18Speaker 3: like it's dawned on her that nobody cares. Because the
- 24:21Speaker 3: only way Harry's ever gonna wear the crown is if
- 24:23Speaker 3: he has a birthday party at Burger King. Okay, there's
- 24:26Speaker 3: no relevance attached to him by whining. So what they
- 24:30Speaker 3: should have done?
- 24:31Speaker 4: For real?
- 24:32Speaker 3: Do you know we have all these really famous Instagram
- 24:34Speaker 3: influencers who do nothing, but they're always showing you their
- 24:36Speaker 3: cars and their jets, like Harry and Meghan, in theory,
- 24:40Speaker 3: are the best version of that because neither of them
- 24:43Speaker 3: do nothing. They've been bequeathed, you know, hundreds of millions
- 24:46Speaker 3: of dollars from you know, his royal status, and they
- 24:49Speaker 3: should be leaning into that. Do you remember when Harry
- 24:51Speaker 3: was getting kicked out of the pools in Las Vegas
- 24:53Speaker 3: because he was getting drunk and drinking Heineken. Do you
- 24:56Speaker 3: know what you got to do to get kicked out
- 24:58Speaker 3: of the.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Pool at the Mandalay Bay.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I don't, and I've tried everything, and I still don't
- 25:03Speaker 3: know what you gotta do? And the point is that
- 25:06Speaker 3: version of Harry, like he would be like the movie Arthur.
- 25:09Speaker 3: We would like that Harry could you'd be like, oh,
- 25:11Speaker 3: it's a British hooligan, you know, But instead he's doing
- 25:14Speaker 3: the you know the war was me singing. Nobody wants
- 25:16Speaker 3: to hear it.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Hey, Also, how did you be the Prince? Harry? The
- 25:20Speaker 2: royal family you come to and the only one you
- 25:22Speaker 2: can marry is some woman who is like fifteenth billing
- 25:26Speaker 2: in suits. You can't do better than that.
- 25:31Speaker 3: We're not even talking about a big show here, I
- 25:33Speaker 3: mean as a royal. Yeah, you'd like to think you
- 25:36Speaker 3: could parley that into a little bit more, but you
- 25:39Speaker 3: know he is. He has low self esteem because he's
- 25:42Speaker 3: not even sure the Kings is real.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Dad, it's the whole to do.
- 25:45Speaker 3: We've all seen those bodyguard photos. I don't know what's
- 25:47Speaker 3: to make of this one.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Hey, Eric Swallwell, apparently this just happened
- 25:53Speaker 2: about an hour ago. FBI confronted him at the airport,
- 25:57Speaker 2: seized his devices. They had a search warrant to X
- 26:00Speaker 2: you get to take all those electronics. You think we'll
- 26:03Speaker 2: finally find out something about this guy what he was
- 26:05Speaker 2: really up to.
- 26:08Speaker 4: I think I think we have an idea of what
- 26:09Speaker 4: he was really up to.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I mean, he's ordering a lot of Chinese takeouts if
- 26:13Speaker 3: you're picking up what I'm putting down. And I think
- 26:17Speaker 3: with the Trump I honestly think what the Trump DOJ
- 26:20Speaker 3: is probably trying to do is get a handle on
- 26:23Speaker 3: like who he was really communicating with beyond her because apparently,
- 26:28Speaker 3: like when he was outed as you know, being trapped
- 26:31Speaker 3: in that you know, the honeypot situation, you know, they
- 26:33Speaker 3: got a briefing that was like, Wow, this guy has really.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Seen some bad things.
- 26:38Speaker 3: But it doesn't sound like the Biden administration wanted to
- 26:40Speaker 3: prosecute it because it might have been a liability for them.
- 26:43Speaker 3: So it is a really it's a rough time to
- 26:46Speaker 3: be a DC madam right now because a lot of your.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Clients might be tied to this phone.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Of Like, if anybody's looking for work as a food taster,
- 26:54Speaker 3: this is a good way week to apply in d C.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Hey this guy awesof this or who's saying the most
- 27:01Speaker 2: ugly vicious things about Trump? Even top Democratic operative David
- 27:06Speaker 2: Axelrod told him to shut up, told him it's too much,
- 27:10Speaker 2: reprimanded him so is asof gonna listeners, Is he gonna
- 27:13Speaker 2: keep going with these tirades?
- 27:16Speaker 3: You know, I think he like he enjoys the relevance
- 27:19Speaker 3: he's gaining from this. So I actually think he's now
- 27:22Speaker 3: going to lean in. Because it started with him telling
- 27:24Speaker 3: a joke that looked a little sexist. He was implying
- 27:26Speaker 3: that Trump was with this girl, who, as you know,
- 27:28Speaker 3: is a bone cancer survivor and works as his personal assistant,
- 27:33Speaker 3: and Osov tried to insinulate there was something else going on.
- 27:36Speaker 3: He took that back if you saw him on Jen
- 27:39Speaker 3: Psaki show. But now he's leaning in again.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Now he's doing the.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Whole all you know, mega's melted down and blah blah blah.
- 27:47Speaker 3: But again he thinks, you know, he's brandishing himself as
- 27:50Speaker 3: his left wing tough guy, except if you're watching his rallies,
- 27:54Speaker 3: they're having him shot like a Telemundo soap op. He's
- 27:57Speaker 3: got nine pounds of.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Makeup and three camera angles.
- 28:01Speaker 3: It is rallied like it's like it's really like Days
- 28:04Speaker 3: of Our Lives if they were running or send it
- 28:06Speaker 3: down in Georgia and no.
- 28:08Speaker 4: One, no one takes this guy seriously.
- 28:10Speaker 3: He's like it really is weird, but he looks like
- 28:13Speaker 3: he's playing James Talerico in a made for TV movies.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and this Trump has a couple of personal assistants.
- 28:19Speaker 2: But Natalie Harp works her tail off. She's working day
- 28:22Speaker 2: and night. You just see the way she works. She's
- 28:24Speaker 2: running around trying to do fifty things. I mean, if
- 28:27Speaker 2: she was sleeping with the boss, she wouldn't be working
- 28:29Speaker 2: that hard. Would she a kind.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Of coach host?
- 28:35Speaker 2: You know what?
- 28:36Speaker 9: Man?
- 28:36Speaker 4: That's like, In all honesty, that is the most brilliant
- 28:38Speaker 4: piece of analysis I've ever heard.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You could tell she's the one.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Definitely she was sleeping with the boss, she'd have some
- 28:46Speaker 3: cushy gigs somewhere to tap the road, right, you know,
- 28:51Speaker 3: he'd send it down to check on the reflecting pool
- 28:53Speaker 3: once a months. You know, she'd have a good racket.
- 28:55Speaker 3: You guys, that's it.
- 28:56Speaker 2: That puts the whole thing to bed from me, right, Well,
- 28:58Speaker 2: you can have that because I steal enough stuff from
- 29:00Speaker 2: you and your show. So it's National Radio Day today?
- 29:06Speaker 2: Does that mean anything? Are we supposed to do anything
- 29:08Speaker 2: for that? Yeah?
- 29:10Speaker 3: You know we're supposed to celebrate. I'm sure there's an
- 29:13Speaker 3: o R event we can head over to later in
- 29:15Speaker 3: the show. Yeah, I was told I could get through
- 29:18Speaker 3: security if I dropped.
- 29:19Speaker 2: All the games. It's a big event. You'll meet all
- 29:21Speaker 2: the top radio people from everywhere are going to be there.
- 29:25Speaker 4: I love that. I think it's great.
- 29:26Speaker 3: You know, radio for me is uh, you know, first
- 29:29Speaker 3: and foremost. It takes me, obviously back.
- 29:31Speaker 4: To my taxi, because that's what I was doing for.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Twelve hours a day. I was listening to the radio.
- 29:35Speaker 3: You know, I was listening to mister New York.
- 29:37Speaker 4: As funny as that sounds, I mean, imagine a world
- 29:40Speaker 4: where you're doing the show just like you're.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Doing it now, but instead of me being a guest,
- 29:44Speaker 3: I have some pantless time traveler in the backseat who's
- 29:47Speaker 3: yelling at me because his spaceship is out of gas.
- 29:50Speaker 3: And now I've got to sit here and try and
- 29:51Speaker 3: get that guy to the west side. Okay, man, what
- 29:54Speaker 3: a what a country? There are just so many possibilities,
- 29:57Speaker 3: and this conversation might be the ultimate reminder d that.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Wow. So yeah, hey, I was listening the last night.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Your son is going to college.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Yeah, Lincoln's going on. He leaves next friday, you know,
- 30:12Speaker 3: he he he got a wedge McColl listen, he got
- 30:14Speaker 3: a partial scholarship, which is good because we don't have
- 30:18Speaker 3: to sell coke like the Penn State guys. But you know,
- 30:21Speaker 3: you don't know, I mean, the rent don't pay itself
- 30:23Speaker 3: around here with all these with all these new mom
- 30:26Speaker 3: Dottie taxes.
- 30:26Speaker 4: You know, me and the link Man might have something going.
- 30:29Speaker 3: But the one thing I will tell you is you're
- 30:30Speaker 3: not going to see us getting busted for dealing drugs
- 30:33Speaker 3: on Venmo?
- 30:33Speaker 8: Did you catch that?
- 30:36Speaker 2: They are pretty stupid?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Twenty grand on Venmo? Like, what memo do you write?
- 30:41Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:41Speaker 2: Ause?
- 30:41Speaker 3: You know, if somebody splits.
- 30:42Speaker 4: The dinner check and they venmo you eighty bucks? Says
- 30:45Speaker 4: like dinner?
- 30:45Speaker 3: But what are you attached to twenty two thousand dollars
- 30:48Speaker 3: on a Venmo? What are you right for a memo?
- 30:50Speaker 4: You know, some dinner?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Hey, but you're not worried sending your kids to college
- 30:56Speaker 2: that he's going to come back as socialist, totally indoctrinated.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Well, that is our actual deal for real, is that
- 31:02Speaker 3: I told him I will pay for college. But if
- 31:05Speaker 3: he comes home this Thanksgiving and tells me he's queer
- 31:07Speaker 3: for Palestine, I'm taking all the money back. I want
- 31:11Speaker 3: everything back. Think we're going to get this documented. I
- 31:14Speaker 3: don't have one of those in me. And yeah, that
- 31:17Speaker 3: is a concern because even in his college upstate at
- 31:20Speaker 3: a SUNI school.
- 31:21Speaker 4: But the minute we got there, you know, there's Big.
- 31:23Speaker 3: George Floyd Murrol, all the you know, the the ANTIFA flags,
- 31:27Speaker 3: all the private it's all there.
- 31:28Speaker 4: And I told them, I'm like, you have to just
- 31:30Speaker 4: lean in and.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Laugh at how ridiculous it is, because it's you know,
- 31:34Speaker 3: it's not going to go away, you know, so you
- 31:36Speaker 3: just got to enjoy all the performative stupidity of you know,
- 31:39Speaker 3: you're taking the SAPs on stolen land and blah blah blah.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Wow, Hey, you got to listen to Jimmy Taylor every
- 31:47Speaker 2: weeknight nine to midnight is such a great show. His
- 31:49Speaker 2: radio shows nine to midnight right here on w R
- 31:53Speaker 2: you can hear tonight, Well what do you have on tonight?
- 31:56Speaker 3: Lara Trump is back on the show presidential daughter in law.
- 32:00Speaker 4: So that's a good one.
- 32:01Speaker 3: And yeah, that's totally a makeup by her because I
- 32:04Speaker 3: invited her on the TV show.
- 32:05Speaker 4: She said, no, I'll do radio. It's the best I
- 32:09Speaker 4: can do.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Is the phone all fats, So we'll have Lara Trump
- 32:12Speaker 3: but that's gonna that's gonna be a hot one, and
- 32:14Speaker 3: I believe and Kennedy's coming by, so we'll do some well,
- 32:17Speaker 3: we got to talk about Columbia House with with Kennedy
- 32:20Speaker 3: because she's an MTVVJ.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Of course, yeah, Columbia.
