- 0:00Someone to come guys, welcome back to the office tomorrow and
- 0:02podcast this week. We're going to talk about
- 0:04something really interesting. There's been a lot happening
- 0:06over the last few days. Online in regards to certain
- 0:09podcast, that and comments he's made about Islam and Muslims and
- 0:13of course, the backlash of that. And you know, the discussion of
- 0:15islamophobia and bullying discrimination is really
- 0:18important. How do people feel when they are
- 0:21on the receiving end of such jokes or such comments?
- 0:24You know? Well where do we turn to?
- 0:25How does Allah see us? And how do we see God and how
- 0:28does that affect our relationship?
- 0:30Don and finding a lost man to Allah.
- 0:33So there's a lot to get into, I know it sounds a bit jumbled,
- 0:36but as always the ever Reliant, co-host, say, Dallas on one
- 0:40example of how you doing ever Reliance ever rely on Thursday,
- 0:50to me, we always rely on you, to back in the topic.
- 0:53You know, I'm talking about my back.
- 0:55I scratch yours. How you doing, man?
- 1:00It's been okay. I'm the last.
- 1:02Yeah, as I said there's a lot happening online and it's been
- 1:05interesting one but to help us discuss that we have the ever
- 1:12lovable say say What's the Box? A slumber.
- 1:31Little by little translation. And so what's been happening?
- 1:34Say, not been happening online. Yeah, there's a certain
- 1:39influence. Our true Jordi has made some
- 1:43discriminatory comments on Muslims, and I think there's
- 1:47been a quite a big backlash say, you know, about it.
- 1:50I've heard a bit, okay. But I don't Know full details.
- 1:53Okay, Enlighten us. All right, so for those who
- 1:56don't know, there's a podcast about inventory Jordi and he
- 1:58does podcast with a guy called Lawrence and they're very
- 2:02well-known, they're big, they have millions of subscribers and
- 2:04they do football podcast and just general culture, and
- 2:07lifestyle stuff. They were doing a livestream a
- 2:10few days ago, and they were talking about a guy convert to
- 2:12Islam and and true Geordie, Brian.
- 2:15He said, well if he really wants to prove his religion, he should
- 2:18blow himself up a lot. And the guy next to him start
- 2:20laughing. And even though the guy next to
- 2:21him, raise his Muslim kids and he's married to a Muslim girl
- 2:25and so on he didn't really say anything.
- 2:27So the sky released an apology cause a It's backlash online, a
- 2:31huge backlash in even corporate sponsorships or car and so on
- 2:34now besides that that's kind of besides them win but the wider
- 2:38conversation of why is this still normal?
- 2:41And so on is still big deal. Can I actually ask you, how did
- 2:45that make you feel? So knowing I've been listening
- 2:47to this guy for a while. Okay.
- 2:48Okay, I'll be honest, I've been listening to football podcasts
- 2:53and like just general stuff like that for a couple of years.
- 2:57So I have a few podcasts. I listened to Be like seven or
- 3:00eight podcasts and and his is one of them, you know what I
- 3:04mean? So, week by week.
- 3:05I'll generally try and shoot into his stuff when you listen
- 3:09to a podcast, in my opinion. Yeah, you're zoning out of your
- 3:12world, you're tuning into a new world, a new conversation, in
- 3:15your, you're being a part of someone else's experience, and
- 3:19you're meant to be in a safe Zone where you're not attacked.
- 3:21But when you tune into someone's podcast and a whole group of
- 3:24people have been generalized and attacked and that includes
- 3:27usually look up to them, it really disappoints.
- 3:29You Admin. It's really a someone someone
- 3:31you listen to regularly, what about say, what about people?
- 3:35For example, who are watching that and who are not Muslim?
- 3:37Do you think they'll get into this brother?
- 3:39I think the lies. I think I actually find it
- 3:40funny. Yeah.
- 3:42Because I think it's become so normal to even drop, I'm going
- 3:46to call it a joke because it's become so normal to us to, for
- 3:49someone to say, go blow yourself up to prove, you're Muslim, I
- 3:52think it's something normal, but as a Muslim, I find that
- 3:55offensive because that's not what we do and it's our
- 3:58responsibility sometimes. And I feel that we need to let
- 4:02the world know that that's not who we are but the same time we
- 4:05should be to apologetic. Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:08Yeah well it's a confusing question be tackling these
- 4:11misconceptions and alhamdulillah over the past few years and
- 4:14we've moved forward. I think people are much more
- 4:16aware now that these mistakes misconceptions are not true
- 4:21these fake tabloid news. They're made up to cause a
- 4:25division to cause whatever with with minor communities Yeah.
- 4:30Um, but for someone to make such a comment, it's a step backwards
- 4:33for us. You mean know that but like a
- 4:35fifteen-year-old now doesn't know that 15 year olds muzzle,
- 4:38but as we've Advanced a lot forward with these sort of
- 4:40things, I think people are more aware than they were five years
- 4:44ago. Yeah.
- 4:45Maybe like I think in some ways they're more aware but, but the
- 4:48thing is, kids, who we grew up in a world pre 9/11.
- 4:52Yeah, 911 hitting all of us. Remember the repercussions of
- 4:54it, but, I mean, we all, we all remember jority of us were
- 4:57bullied in school after, yeah, overnight change its spin.
- 5:00Actually, when you went to a prominent predominantly, English
- 5:02School, White full of white people like me.
- 5:05I was bullied in school for being that Muslim kid in class.
- 5:07I was known as the Muslim kid 911 comes around or everyone's
- 5:11wish him a happy birthday. No way for us.
- 5:15It was fun and jokes but it is still traumatic to.
- 5:19You're scared to be around white people.
- 5:22Yeah. And you for someone like me, I
- 5:24always thought we were well past this now.
- 5:26Do you ever feel like you had to prove you that That does that.
- 5:31As a Muslim, you are a good person to wait, did you feel
- 5:33that pressure? I think people are aware.
- 5:35They know that buzzing. It's just jokes.
- 5:37It was to them. It was, it was fun and games.
- 5:40It was never like proper racism, but it obviously stemmed from
- 5:43somewhere you said this podcast has billions of subscribe.
- 5:47Yeah, this is this is he he's known and the uk-based.
- 5:50Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's known as The Joe Rogan of
- 5:52the UK, okay? Which is so he's massive Joe
- 5:54Rogan's. The biggest podcast.
- 5:55So this Joe Rogan made made I think a very silly Ants and the
- 6:00millions of subscribers while listening.
- 6:02And I'm going to go to school other than how they are these.
- 6:04If you're saying, they're talking about football,
- 6:06everyone's listening to this podcast, keeps kids are going to
- 6:08easily repeat these Joe. They're going to go to school
- 6:10until their friend. Joe is going to tell a Commodore
- 6:13Mike is going to tell Muhammad ya.
- 6:15Go blow yourself up. Prove your true Muslim and the
- 6:17thing is it's already happening like we've all got stories.
- 6:19Like I said, it's like bullying. Yeah it's probably and we've all
- 6:23got stories where we've been in that situation and we've reacted
- 6:27or we have a react either. You took either you.
- 6:29Either you I believe I owe you a bullet in school and if you
- 6:32were, if even if he were a bully people still use that joke
- 6:35against you, you know? I mean, like I have stories when
- 6:38people used to say stuff to me in school, you know, I had a
- 6:41hard time when I was young because there was this thing
- 6:43that went around, could Ahmed, the Dead Terrorist?
- 6:45Remember, that video to remember that?
- 6:48I remember that. Yeah, imagine funny.
- 6:50And yeah, it was fun. It was funny.
- 6:52You're probably from it's stupid, but it gave people a way
- 6:56to be racist to you. Exactly.
- 6:57And we were what when that came out that was Date or something.
- 7:00Yeah, it does not look. So we were in there, doing our
- 7:02Jesus was the little skeleton Hobbit or something, right?
- 7:06This it was so so stupid, such a bad joke and that was something
- 7:11which like got forwarded around and so on and so forth.
- 7:14But someone who's 15 years old? Now, the D line I'm going to
- 7:18blow my seat. Okay, someone who is fifteen
- 7:20years? Older, 10, 2007.
- 7:22Oh my God. Yeah, she's crazy.
- 7:30In the 90s. I'm assuming everyone.
- 7:33You know, when you when you hear backs, all those are from the
- 7:3560s from the 50s. When we learn all that you soon,
- 7:37by the way, I'm already 30. That's insane.
- 7:41This is the fourth decade. We live.
- 7:42We're living in, you know, that fourth decade of our life back
- 7:45on track back on track. Yeah.
- 7:47Anyway, but ya know, it's crazy situation because kids, who are
- 7:5015 now, mmm, I have not known a pre nine eleven world.
- 7:54For example, do you know? I mean so kids will kids grow up
- 7:57thinking. I'm, it's okay for me to get
- 7:58bullied and And you mentioned saying about, like the effects
- 8:02on bullying and how kids feel. I think it makes them go on
- 8:05hiding. Any of kids are feeling bullied,
- 8:07the feeling discriminated, they're feeling labeled as a
- 8:09terrorist, for example, as Muslims.
- 8:11Well, they're going to go see it.
- 8:12I think Muslims already struggled to be represented,
- 8:16whether it's a media or written just Society in general.
- 8:20We've just about made it onto the platform, but I think that's
- 8:23because we are here in the west. You can go to the Middle East.
- 8:26You have why does it happen with any other community?
- 8:28Or as much as with? I don't know.
- 8:31I feel like we've got a fair as Wantage online.
- 8:33Best online were very scared to say were Muslim.
- 8:37Well, no, you will say that another.
- 8:39We must have a news presenter on BBC.
- 8:42Yeah, would never come out and like show himself as a Muslim.
- 8:46He won't wear a Muslim garment, I am I an internship ones in a
- 8:50mainstream media organization. And I remember I was working
- 8:55with another muslim, okay, from from the community and My aunt
- 9:00passed away that weekend, my dad's sister passed away your
- 9:03loves, and that was on a Saturday.
- 9:05I came in to work on the Monday. I was walking with my Muslim
- 9:09colleague, to take to the staff kitchen.
- 9:10The bearing in mind, this is like 300 people in the office.
- 9:13Hmm, we're walking to the kitchen and my colleague said to
- 9:16me. How's your family doing?
- 9:18I said we're okay. I'm Darla people coming over or
- 9:21something. Sorry.
- 9:21I'll see you in so on and so forth.
- 9:23I've got taken to another room and I were told off.
- 9:26You can't talk like that. Here you wearing a ring?
- 9:29We're in a certain environment. No way, you can't speak, like
- 9:30that, you can't use words like, handle.
- 9:32I can't say much, as you can see, I see.
- 9:34So, what's the problem? You ask me a question.
- 9:35You're almost a Muslim. Why can I not say words that
- 9:38you? And I know a lot of ending in.
- 9:40This was a Muslim telling you. Yeah.
- 9:42Yeah. It became a big deal.
- 9:43See, I'm at other communities, I don't think they're afraid of
- 9:46tackling these issues. Yeah they would come out and say
- 9:49okay there's certain gamma site whereas a seek for example,
- 9:52yeah, but there's certain things I need to do on certain days as
- 9:55a as a someone who's Jewish. But for us we're always Because
- 10:00because we're always being attacked.
- 10:02We're scared to come out and say, okay, I'm Muslim I need to
- 10:04do so and so what to be yourself to be yourself.
- 10:07Yeah, that's why for example, some one really and these
- 10:10bullying makes it even worse for us.
- 10:11You think that's one reason why maybe some young sisters take
- 10:14off their hijab? It could be a powerful.
- 10:17That's it's not something that I can talk on but that comes back
- 10:20to then insecurities. I do want to touch on anything
- 10:24too touchy, but an insecurity that I may have or sister may
- 10:28have with widest. I see affects my relationship
- 10:31with God Islam from, like, how people see me and treat me then
- 10:35affects how I am with God, you know?
- 10:37I mean, you feel like you've got no attachment to God now.
- 10:42Yeah, well actually might make you want to distance yourself
- 10:45from God. Yeah because if someone's always
- 10:48like saying you Muslims are XYZ, you saw.
- 10:51I think you saw someone was like 15 16 or young, maybe even
- 10:53younger than that. May be quite older as well
- 10:55teenagers. Now the like 25 years old still
- 10:58knows well that's it. Makes you think Think you know
- 11:01it might be true. Maybe my religion is actually
- 11:03about maybe you know the way we are being represented is
- 11:07actually who we really are which is not and I think affects you
- 11:11as a Muslim but your belief and Trust Allah subhana with other.
- 11:15Especially when people who pray to Allah you know there's lots
- 11:17of people who pray maybe they're praying.
- 11:19Oh Allah take this bullying Away From Me.
- 11:21Maybe percussions of these bullying to keep be unable to
- 11:23keep your neighbor. Could be your friend.
- 11:25That's cool. Whoever is the next.
- 11:27It could be a teacher. Yeah indirectly Discriminate
- 11:31towards you, the happens happens like for example we went to
- 11:35Sunday school, we go to Sunday school, we get taught now what
- 11:39do you say Sunday school? You're talking about for
- 11:41example, Islamic school or summer school?
- 11:42Like we went to Islamic schools. We get taught from the age of
- 11:45five to 15 everything every Sunday.
- 11:48God is there for you. He protects you.
- 11:50He loves you. You talk to him when you're in
- 11:51trouble when you go back. If you go back to school.
- 11:54Yeah. You get bullied back to square.
- 11:56One your back to people making fun of you because of what
- 11:58you're taught the day before. Are you believe in God, God
- 12:01doesn't exist. People make remember.
- 12:03People keep people's success of lot of yours over there.
- 12:05What is God backwards? What is God backwards?
- 12:07What is God backwards? That was like a thing.
- 12:09I remember those are Trend and a school.
- 12:11My just mentally did that. Yeah, like it was a thing when
- 12:14we were in school, that's the most childish thing.
- 12:19You can say to someone, and just because you happen to be a
- 12:21Muslim people take out. And, you know, I mean, And it
- 12:24makes you question as a young as not even young, but it makes you
- 12:27question your Dean question. Dean You know, your everything,
- 12:32your beliefs is, your religion is of core part of your system,
- 12:37is what you're brought up on. So when someone bullies you
- 12:40about that, I think it has a crazy effect on use and people a
- 12:44lot of people don't know, is it okay.
- 12:46So let's say this bullying is actually making you question
- 12:48your doing. What's the solution?
- 12:49I mean, we have to come up with the solution as Muslims
- 12:51hamdulillah. We know Allah subhanahu
- 12:53wa'ta'ala as a solution, for every problem that we Face are
- 12:56one of it is do our, and we all believe in the power of the
- 12:58handle. I know millions of Muslims make
- 13:00to our Every single day, they supplicate nothing in short
- 13:03enough. We can pray to Allah subhanaw.
- 13:05Taala to make it easy for us. It's as simple as that.
- 13:08You can. Pray your Allah, you know, make
- 13:10make this bullying and we are La, you know, make the make my
- 13:14friend at school. Who has these thoughts on me?
- 13:16Have a clearer mind. Let him understand.
- 13:18Allah. I'm on the stand, you even
- 13:20better. Might help if I go a long way,
- 13:21God tells us - Leo Sarah with her.
- 13:24With every hardship. Comes ease sense.
- 13:26So he doesn't put us through these hardships for no reason.
- 13:30As long as we have the torque of the final last part of the Allah
- 13:33doesn't pull you in the hardship that you can't hang.
- 13:35Yeah, we had our numerous times. I sent it for words.
- 13:39I'm just trying to find the idea but there's an i in the Holy
- 13:41Quran. Mmm.
- 13:45So at baccarat verse 2 16 I lost one.
- 13:47Tyler says perhaps something is described prescribed for you and
- 13:51you dislike it but it's possible that you dislike a thing which
- 13:54is good for you and that you love a thing which is bad for
- 13:56you. What does that tell us?
- 13:58That we know a lost book. Thuds telling us that.
- 14:00A will be situations in life. You do not want to do something,
- 14:04you don't want to go to school. You don't want to face this, but
- 14:07you don't know maybe that's good for you and maybe that's in the
- 14:10long term that's going to strengthen you and it's going to
- 14:12make your core stronger. Your belief in God stronger.
- 14:14You'll your identity stronger and maybe in the same way you
- 14:17doing, you engage and you spend time doing something, which you
- 14:22think is enjoyable and good. There's bad for you.
- 14:24Like for example the stuff he listened to online, the content,
- 14:28the music, whatever it is. You might think it's Okay.
- 14:30Like, for example, listen to a podcast where they say stuff
- 14:32like that but actual facts about to you because it has an effect
- 14:35on you, you know, I mean like in the long term we have to I think
- 14:38the main answer for me to work with his is an answer or the
- 14:44answer. The ultimate answer part of the
- 14:45solution, but I think before Takin for me personally, it's
- 14:48mentality. It's our own personal struggle.
- 14:52I was, would you call it Jihad in Neffs?
- 14:55Yeah, this is what God taught us.
- 14:57Yeah. But you had enough is why starts
- 14:59with the mentality? Hey, the man that doesn't like
- 15:02you said, when Tammy. Yeah, exactly.
- 15:03Like, for example, you start with the mentality that okay,
- 15:06maybe this goodness in the hardship, like we talked about
- 15:09this, I think a few podcasts will go, but there's a specific
- 15:11analogy, which I know a lot of the other, my use of the concept
- 15:15of like a baby having an injection.
- 15:18The baby doesn't know that the injection is good for them in
- 15:21that moment in time. They experiencing extreme pain
- 15:23and hardship. Know they think they're world's
- 15:25coming to an end. The outcome.
- 15:27The outcome is best for them. Only Allah knows that I mean,
- 15:30you know, bigger situations but you're sometimes we're ignorant,
- 15:33we get, we get too comfortable and we get too cocky and we
- 15:36think we know that everything is going to be the way it is.
- 15:39Now things are always going to be hard.
- 15:40God doesn't love me. God, ignores my prayers, but
- 15:43maybe we were wrong, you know, that point guard ignores my
- 15:45period. Prettiest.
- 15:46Yeah, people say that often often often very often.
- 15:48In fact, sometimes even from our own Friends Community, we heard
- 15:51while, but I've been praying for something for so long, it's just
- 15:54not happening cause not listening.
- 15:55What's going on? Are they praying for the wrong
- 15:56things? Are they not doing?
- 15:58Do our courage, you need that point?
- 16:00You know for someone come someone praying.
- 16:02Oh Allah, I want so much money. Allah.
- 16:04I want the I've heard this phrase so much that I want.
- 16:07The buffest wife, I want to be, you know, no, these are real
- 16:13words. People are saying we are hearing
- 16:15this and they're praying. You know the state.
- 16:17I think it goes back to the same thing.
- 16:19It goes back to work on. Mmm.
- 16:21Yeah. Any Allah knows what's best for
- 16:23us? Trusted God, you give your book
- 16:25nothing. That's basically what she said,
- 16:26at least, that's what I'm saying.
- 16:30People are praying for the wrong things, yeah?
- 16:36Like, for example, you might be praying for wealth, like you
- 16:39said, but you are you praying to get?
- 16:41And we had to shut down for last week, talked about the concept
- 16:43of wealth. Like are you trying to get rich?
- 16:45So you can flex and show off your riches and buy a Tesla or
- 16:49you trying to get rich because you generally want to make a
- 16:51change to like a cause in the world or something like that.
- 16:53Or you want to just look after family, because that's it.
- 16:55By then itself, just God will give you what he knows is best
- 16:59for you. Yeah.
- 17:00Yeah, I better had you today is just on the point of wealth,
- 17:03I'll double-check, I think sometime and solar solemn bronze
- 17:06and he said that the kings of Heaven are the poor people in
- 17:09this world but this is short. Hadith is so nice, though.
- 17:13I thought that, wow. So many people in poverty
- 17:16praying for riches and now we're going through.
- 17:17Like we've just been told we're going to be in a two-year
- 17:19recession in the UK. Yeah.
- 17:21But and we're finding that hot. Yeah.
- 17:23Well finding their heart. Oh yeah.
- 17:25That's what I think. We're praying for the wrong
- 17:26things. And as you said, for example,
- 17:29you know, we're praying, We want to be a rich.
- 17:31Do we want to flex? Do want to show off?
- 17:32Not. In fact, I think we should be
- 17:33praying to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala, let us help those who
- 17:36are less fortunate, you know, let us be like a means of
- 17:39Wasilla towards them. At the same time, we can benefit
- 17:41in this world from that riches. Yeah, I know.
- 17:44And back to the point of the wife by the appropriate people
- 17:46saying, you know, Allah, if you weren't for all of our friends,
- 17:51all of our present and previous guests to inshaa, Allah over the
- 17:54city looking for Yeah, for a beautiful life.
- 18:01Allah. Give me a noble wife or his
- 18:03office. That's beautiful.
- 18:04In itself is just as you said, the mentality in the way Oscar,
- 18:07I have to tell them something. I'm sorry.
- 18:09Tell you that guys today. When what's up, okay, and I
- 18:14thought I told said Ali, he messaged him message.
- 18:19One of the brothers in the aftermarket team and he said,
- 18:22please can you help us like make a clip for Instagram?
- 18:25I said, say please leave the guy alone every time it comes on.
- 18:28What's up you ask him to do, what?
- 18:30And then, what did they say? Goes may Allah bless him with
- 18:33the noble wife. He gave me the clip.
- 18:47One of three things happens when you make it are either your
- 18:51prayers are answered. All your prayer is not answered.
- 18:53Yet. It's delayed, but will be
- 18:54uncertain. Future we praise.
- 18:56Not directly. Answer your given a replacement.
- 18:59You might pray for a big Bank, you get an inheritance from some
- 19:03Uncle, you never met who passed away.
- 19:05And tomorrow, you can buy a big house prayers are answered, or
- 19:08you have to wait 10 years, work hard.
- 19:10And then you get the house for appreciate.
- 19:12How you appreciate her or you don't get the house.
- 19:15And instead allow gives you a big family, healthy family, and
- 19:18you don't understand anything. Why did God continually house
- 19:20for 10 years? I've you're thinking God's not
- 19:21give me a house or for example you never get a house, you get
- 19:24healthy family. What happens?
- 19:26You become complacent? Mmm.
- 19:28If you get house immediately, Thinking that was easy like you
- 19:31forget God, you're chilling. You're in a comfortable
- 19:33position, life, or for 10 years, you're complaining saying, God's
- 19:36not answer my prayers or you forget entirely that last one to
- 19:40Allah doesn't operate. In the same currencies that we
- 19:43operate in. He doesn't operate in
- 19:45transactional ways where we say, I pray for this.
- 19:47You give me this did, you know? I mean it's not like for like
- 19:50you might pray for something along.
- 19:51Give you something different, I haven't have you ever prayed for
- 19:53something for so long? And it's either happened or had
- 19:57or hasn't happened. Yeah, I think my marriage is an
- 20:02example that they all fastened is speaking.
- 20:04I don't wanna go too much into it, but I think I was examples
- 20:06that I prayed like I think we all prayed and pray for like,
- 20:10you know, a healthy marriage and healthy life and so on.
- 20:15But I was convinced, I thought this is the right person.
- 20:18And I think along the way there was there was like, you know,
- 20:21obstacles obstacles as there always is, I think with
- 20:23marriages, and as I mentioned in the past, we had a like a
- 20:27long-distance relationship and it was a long-distance
- 20:29engagement. There's a hard time and of
- 20:31course getting to that point where there was comfort in
- 20:34proceeding and everything was hard.
- 20:36So you make a doll and you have sometimes you have to wait,
- 20:38sometimes you have to go through things, to get to it either, you
- 20:41get it. And in this case for a noble
- 20:43wife, I pray for another way. I'm glad I'm glad me and I was
- 20:47blessed with it, but no in all honesty, like, someone can make
- 20:50a darn, they can, they might think God's ignoring me, but
- 20:53maybe they're not. Maybe a lot of sponsors, not
- 20:55ignoring, you know, I don't think it's got ignoring you, I
- 20:57think sometimes, it's either your Paying for the wrong thing
- 21:01or you're you know, doing drawn correctly.
- 21:03Know you've seen sometimes in people that like this y'all law.
- 21:08That's it. There's no for example humility.
- 21:10There's no humbleness. There's no there's no actually
- 21:12thinking say it is there a correct way that were taught to
- 21:16make? The are there is correct ways of
- 21:18making them all this. I don't know the top of my head,
- 21:22but from what I understand, the power is, for example, is there
- 21:25are methods. That you have to follow follow
- 21:29subhanahu, wa'ta'ala to ensure, Allah Grant you the harder they
- 21:32want. So, one of the being, for
- 21:34example, is that you have to mention salawat, you have to
- 21:39bring the name of Mohammed Anonymous.
- 21:40Is this? Why we recommended son dies?
- 21:42And that's basically asked me. Yeah, I mean realistic style of
- 21:46my Shipmates as followers of woman.
- 21:52We are blessed in the school, understand the she and the
- 21:55Japanese school of thought with this area from their names.
- 21:57And these are Treasures for us and all the doors before.
- 22:00Someone says, we are praying to the Alan Bates, all of them.
- 22:04Our you know, we ask Allah directly.
- 22:06You know, when we look at door to Austin, for example, we say a
- 22:08llama and Nia Celica were told you who I like.
- 22:12So we're saying directly number one was starting out. 01 La.
- 22:16We are asking you God you know anyone else and we are turning
- 22:20our face towards you. Other than goes by mentioning
- 22:24that also on Allah and the a little bit and these are the
- 22:26best names that we can happen in Charlotte when we invoke their
- 22:29names. The Hodgins is just a repeat of
- 22:33God's name. Yeah.
- 22:35Reminding us of where God's position is to us.
- 22:38Mmm, you know, I was speaking to a share couple days ago.
- 22:41I told him about specific a specific question that friend of
- 22:45mine had and the sheriff told me something nice.
- 22:49He said look at opens. Hey, Sausage idea and go to do a
- 22:53number X, Y Zed. Wow, I think I have the top of
- 22:56his head. You know.
- 22:57There's a specific do and of course there's etiquettes to
- 22:59prank the last 12 hours. So you need to be a little you
- 23:01need to have your needs to be that you need to be the right
- 23:03state of mind. And then of course, the best way
- 23:05to pray the last month I was taught to us by doesn't make
- 23:08something of myself like there's ways to do things and to do it
- 23:11the right way. So they teach us the formula on
- 23:12how to get there. And the last thing I'll say is
- 23:15you know, there's a story of State Department Sahara so I'm
- 23:18alive and how say there's a knob when she was a young girl
- 23:22Witness the doll, her mother made overnight.
- 23:25I'm sure you guys know the story.
- 23:27Say the zeinab learned about the etiquettes of praying to Allah
- 23:29making doll overnight, she said from the time, my mother
- 23:32finished Asia. Saleh to the time.
- 23:35She started her job. She was in, so Jude, and she was
- 23:39making her daughter at the end of the night when she finished,
- 23:41her father, asked them, what were you praying for so long?
- 23:44How many dollars do you have to ask?
- 23:45From God? Surely you can't ask for that
- 23:47many things for yourself. Say the factors are applied and
- 23:50I'm paraphrasing. Of course, say, I wasn't even
- 23:52pray for myself. I had so many others to pray for
- 23:54before I even talked about last Friday.
- 23:56Wow, like a larger from a dark. I just remembered that.
- 23:59What does that mean? Put your neighbor before.
- 24:02So for example, your neighbors before yourself.
- 24:04So before you pray for your own self or your own house, you
- 24:07pray, you pray to was around pray for others and I remember
- 24:09hearing this grown up from the pulpits.
- 24:11Yeah, yeah. So I just reminded me of back.
- 24:13Like Miley says, one for your brother's what you want for
- 24:17yourself. Yeah, heavily I think might help
- 24:20in a sec. Yeah.
- 24:23I've used remind me of my God, this is still.
- 24:28What's that again? When you give someone a gift for
- 24:38example I'm not going to buy you the cheap ring.
- 24:41I'll get you the ring that I would want for myself.
- 24:47This was actually a gift to the by a friend.
- 24:49There you go while Shawn short hundred absolutely loved it
- 24:52because, you know, it's bright. Green said colors right with.
- 24:56Yes. But those those kind of dogs
- 24:57that usually the most sincere, you know, like we, you know,
- 25:00sometimes you can tell, when someone is truly sincere to you,
- 25:03to know. I mean, when they truly wish the
- 25:05best for you can tell, like, their way they speak to you,
- 25:07their body language their facial expression, sincerity sincerity,
- 25:10it shines through sincerity. And, you know, sometimes we sin
- 25:13so much, you know, why not? Let's be honest, everyone.
- 25:16Everyone has their own, sorry. I'm going to put one on fallible
- 25:19and we sin and sometimes these sins that we are doing.
- 25:23I don't know what they are to be honest, but some sense actually
- 25:26do collect create a veil between you and Allah subhanahu
- 25:28wa'ta'ala. How do we know this to our
- 25:30Command? There's a phrase that's line and
- 25:33it says Allah Mark Foley at the nobility taboo so Allah forgive
- 25:38me those sins that Prevail a barrier.
- 25:42Have caged my prayers. Yeah yeah.
- 25:44It's so good. So if you try to use supplicate,
- 25:46you know, you spent your entire life supplication to God for
- 25:49something and it's not happening, maybe it's a certain
- 25:52scene you're doing. Do some stuff are sloppy stuff
- 25:56happening. Maybe Allah answer was so of
- 25:58sins day today, for example, listening to music is a one big
- 26:02problem and why I say music is a big problem.
- 26:04A lot of people unfortunately, I think it's very good become very
- 26:08normal to have music at home. You know, back in the day, we
- 26:10still go Supermarket, will hear the music or, you know,
- 26:13sometimes in the car on the radio on Now you go, family is
- 26:16mom's parents house while they're cooking.
- 26:18The music is really good and, and when music is being played
- 26:21in your house, we are known by the virus when Allah and the
- 26:24acronym Bates, angels and on the house, do you know?
- 26:27One gone? So sorry.
- 26:29I said those gets it when angels are not there.
- 26:31Yeah, the Baroque is removed from the house and when you make
- 26:34any supplication, it doesn't go to a La, Jolla.
- 26:36Just going to add to what you guys said about cooking and
- 26:40stuff like that. You know, even if a family
- 26:43doesn't listen to mainstream, Theme music.
- 26:45Yeah they might Listen to For example Qawwali, you know, guys
- 26:49know Qawwali. Yeah, I'd like, obviously South
- 26:51Asian poetry and Nusrat Fateh Ali, Khan.
- 26:54All that kind of old-school style or an Arab communities.
- 26:57You might listen to what some of the current viral one that Ali
- 27:01Ali Ali Ali Ali. Yeah you don't want to have
- 27:03those. Yeah, I'm new to this.
- 27:05Let's have some control. My God.
- 27:10I'm not the reason why I'm saying this is because these are
- 27:13these are typical people. Like genres of music which
- 27:16people they were all is fine. The snow is old-school,
- 27:18traditional Arab Music. We'll all school traditional
- 27:21Asian music, I'll have them. I think we're going off topic
- 27:24but don't you think, sometimes people might listen to these
- 27:27things because they think it's better than me.
- 27:29Listening to the nation trying to say man that you listen to,
- 27:31these kind of things. It might be a stepping stone for
- 27:33them to stop listening to music. That's exactly my style music.
- 27:36It's still music, like this is exactly the point of make like
- 27:39we might listen to things which are not mainstream and that for
- 27:42us our cultural and all I've been From childhood, it's just a
- 27:45voice and drums or whatever. But stuff like that is, is
- 27:49either stepping stone to something worse, or it can be a
- 27:51stepping stone to something better.
- 27:53If you're used to Qawwali, for example, then you're listening
- 27:55to the praise of my Mallet. For example, you can transition
- 27:57naturally into into a Halal alternative, you know, and maybe
- 28:01that maybe that is part of something or someone.
- 28:15And you know, one more thing and I think it's very important that
- 28:18you mention it is that we need to be more thankful and grateful
- 28:22to Allah subhanaw taala because, you know, if you actually think
- 28:25of it and before coming on the podcast was thinking of this
- 28:28because you know Allah is a semi Alia me know, if he listens to
- 28:32everyone and he knows everything.
- 28:33So already knows what you want to ask and he will hear you when
- 28:37you, when you speak to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala.
- 28:39But you know, when we pray every day.
- 28:41No, RG W, praying how many times?
- 28:44Five times praying 5 times. Okay, let's check.
- 28:46If you're not missing, I was testing you.
- 28:59Laura's for others for murder mystery, three eyeshadows for 17
- 29:04times. We are saying Sami Allahu liman
- 29:07hamidah. I'm either Allah, has the one,
- 29:10who is praising him, who single-handedly love someone
- 29:13because you need to be grateful. For example, I have a home, I
- 29:16have a roof sale handle of stop asking for a villain emotion.
- 29:21Be grateful for what you have. That's very grateful.
- 29:23You are the more thankful you're not a lot to Allah subhanahu
- 29:26wa'ta'ala. He will bless you with your
- 29:27hijacked and shown I think if ultimately we live our lives by
- 29:31a principle of tawakkal Allah trusting in a lot of pain.
- 29:35Tada but trying your best my my grandmother may Allah protect
- 29:39her has a saying that she's to us from child is like a like a
- 29:44proverb proverb. Do what you can to your best.
- 29:47You've got the rest. The idea being is that my work
- 29:50Yeah. Well kill hottest.
- 29:52Try and make your income try and pray.
- 29:54You the hottest. You can try and support your
- 29:56family to the best of your ability, leave, everything else.
- 29:59Our last month other you, it's out of our hands, you know?
- 30:02For example, when we say in other life, when I laid her on
- 30:05your own, we assume life comes from God and death comes from.
- 30:09It goes, we return to God through death, but in my opinion
- 30:12and I again, we're not Scholars. So I was but I try to apply that
- 30:15to various different elements in life like things come and go.
- 30:19People come and go sit. Situations, come and go
- 30:21circumstances. All of these problems and
- 30:23blessings will come and go. So you might be blessed with
- 30:27good health right now. Handler will will young enough
- 30:30and almost seems like to perfect as a coming full circle, full
- 30:33circle, wherever you start with something, it always ends up
- 30:35there. Yeah, mmm.
- 30:37Yeah. Like, we might be getting a
- 30:40blessing now, which we won't get in the future, you know, we
- 30:42might be getting a having an issue now, which were having a
- 30:45future, but the idea being is that issue or what we perceive
- 30:48to be, an issue is come from God, but it will return To go to
- 30:51God and say, with a blessing he's just comes down to
- 30:53mentality and trusting in God sent making dad said, no, that's
- 30:58it. Just make sure everyone's
- 31:00subscribe to the channel. Yeah, and I had one thing
- 31:02though. Yeah.
- 31:03They say, Donna. Loom.
- 31:04What's the job? Ask your mother to pray for you.
- 31:07I said And subscribe to aftermarket.
- 31:10Make sure, make sure your parents, you're always on your
- 31:12parents. Good side.
- 31:13Yeah, they loving you and they will keep you in their prayers.
- 31:18Yes true sure. Like you can be Be practicing
- 31:20Muslim, go to mosque, do a lot on, but was that Quran and
- 31:24everything but you go home, your mom asks you please fold the
- 31:27laundry before you go to sleep something like as small as that.
- 31:31Yeah. Whatever.
- 31:32What don't they tell you don't come home too late.
- 31:35Don't come home. Don't want to be late.
- 31:36Yeah, it might be something as small as that which is stopping
- 31:39a lot from from giving us. I remember my mom will stay
- 31:42awake to like I'm home even though I said come back home
- 31:44from Liberty View, by the way we still be based in is correct.
- 31:49You come all the way. Back to the last trick.
- 31:51Make it because it makes them worried.
- 31:53Yeah. That's that's the heart of a
- 31:54mother and you know, having lies underneath our feet.
- 31:56So Charlotte she prays for you Allah will grant you the Hajj
- 32:00that's all our mothers, all your mothers and in sha Allah, you
- 32:03know, we will get to a place where we are sure a lot more
- 32:06confident in talking about our religion, protecting our
- 32:10religion, to those who attack it and understanding what we
- 32:13believe in and our relationship with the last month.
- 32:15I love. Because ultimately, that's what
- 32:17what the religions about. You know, that's what we're here
- 32:19for. We have one A chance we have one
- 32:21shot and then that's it. You know, we don't get a second
- 32:24chance at life. So every every second passing is
- 32:27an opportunity to make or break salvation, you know, today could
- 32:32be the day where we gain salvation and we attain Heaven,
- 32:36you get me. Mmm.
- 32:36Like or it could be the day where you can make the
- 32:39difference for the rest of your life.
- 32:40Yeah. Yeah, subhanallah.
- 32:42Alright guys. I think that's hopefully
- 32:45hopefully good enough. It's been a nice topic.
- 32:48So enjoyable to get interesting Is bit different about full
- 32:52circle? Has a big range are for Circle.
- 32:54Yeah, yeah that's guys what I would say, you know, I'm at
- 32:58every time we say, pray for us to pray for us because a lot of
- 33:02times, we genuinely need people to make their own are always in
- 33:07our prayers. Hello sugar.
- 33:09Yeah. When someone uses to you, pray
- 33:10for us all. Pray for me, you know?
- 33:13We st. Charles II.
- 33:14Make sure you do, pray for them. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:19That's what I was saying, because we We've had many
- 33:20scenarios where they are. Did you pray for us?
- 33:22Yeah we remembered you as a genuine.
- 33:24Someone says pray for me. They won't you pray.
- 33:27You never know what something in their heart.
- 33:29You never know what I was going through.
- 33:30Yeah. Yeah, sure.
- 33:32Whether it's bullying, whether it's in deeper, but people are
- 33:35going through a lot and shovel display each other or guys,
- 33:39comment down below. Tell us what you think.
- 33:40Have you been in situations which reminded you of this
- 33:42conversation? If you've listened for this
- 33:44long, put the prayer hands on the comments.
- 33:46Yeah, please we know your real one, this one.
- 33:49Yeah. That This one this one, niche-y
- 33:53just so they know which is why not the why not the doll
- 33:56whichever one it doesn't matter but let's just know.
- 33:58They've been this bad as long as this is the real ones are
- 34:01prettier one. Anyway guys.
