- 1:12Speaker 1: my friend, Chris Frangiola. Wow. Welcome back to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Really nice. That intro actually Made me think I was
- 1:20Speaker 3: back on like morning TV that I used to have
- 1:22Speaker 3: to do when I was on the road.
- 1:24Speaker 1: That's what I was modeling it after.
- 1:25Speaker 3: That was really good.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Thank you. I could totally be like a dorky date.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Like my life had a different thing.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 1: There was a time I had a chance to go
- 1:35Speaker 1: full dork.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Like on one of those Good Morning Sacramento?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it was after Chelsea. So nothing like the podcast
- 1:43Speaker 1: hasn't taken off. I'm just doing stand up, whatever. And
- 1:46Speaker 1: a producer of another show was going over to Denver.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And they were like, basically, I had an offer.
- 1:53Speaker 3: In LA?
- 1:54Speaker 1: No. I'd have to move to Denver.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 1:57Speaker 1: With the fam because it was like every day.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And there was like a minute where I'm like, oh,
- 2:06Speaker 1: my God. I just walk in. I could be on
- 2:08Speaker 1: TV every day doing hot topics and things like that.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It was like a show that came on in the afternoon,
- 2:15Speaker 1: multiple hosts. and like live in Denver and just like
- 2:18Speaker 1: start a whole new like mommy life. And then of
- 2:23Speaker 1: course the money was so bad.
- 2:24Speaker 3: So bad.
- 2:25Speaker 1: That it was like, there was, there was no way.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And it wasn't going to need to like anything. And
- 2:28Speaker 1: thank God I didn't. Cause a few years later it
- 2:31Speaker 1: did get canceled. But when I would go do shows
- 2:33Speaker 1: in Denver, I'd be a guest and they were all
- 2:35Speaker 1: like lovely.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Um, but I remember we went to it one time
- 2:39Speaker 1: and Drake was with me and there were all these
- 2:41Speaker 1: people working this before the show got canceled, all these
- 2:43Speaker 1: people working and they're, and Drake was like looking over
- 2:46Speaker 1: at this person, like running like a Facebook page. And
- 2:49Speaker 1: Drake was like, there's seven people. There's seven people on
- 2:53Speaker 1: that's watching this on the Facebook. It was just so,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and I was like, oh God, this is hard.
- 2:58Speaker 3: This is hard. I, at one time, I had done
- 3:02Speaker 3: it like five weeks in a row, got up at
- 3:04Speaker 3: five o'clock in the morning to go to these shows.
- 3:06Speaker 3: You know, you don't know who's watching.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Coffee cuteness.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 3: And I actually went on stage at the comedy club
- 3:10Speaker 3: and I'm like, how many people are here from good morning,
- 3:13Speaker 3: whatever the fuck. And there's nobody. And I'm like, so
- 3:17Speaker 3: thank you. So nobody's watching.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Did you ever, because you don't say no to anything.
- 3:23Speaker 4: No.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Did you ever start to go, Hey, thanks so much
- 3:27Speaker 1: for the offer. I'm not gonna be able to make
- 3:29Speaker 1: it thinking in your head. It's not really worth my
- 3:31Speaker 1: energy to do this show. Or you're such a thirsty bitch,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you still do it.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Unless the comedy club, it was a comedy club, requested it,
- 3:39Speaker 3: I would do it. But otherwise, never. I would always
- 3:42Speaker 3: say no. I still say no. But I don't get those.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Those are gone. Most of that stuff's gone.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they're all like, ha, ha, ha.
- 3:47Speaker 3: You don't see that anymore. Yeah. I actually simply, I
- 3:50Speaker 3: had kind of an offer, too, in Dayton, Ohio. It
- 3:53Speaker 3: was like, good morning, Dayton. Good morning, Dayton. And I
- 3:55Speaker 3: said something like, this would be a great job. And
- 3:57Speaker 3: they were like, well, you want it? Like, basically like that. Like,
- 4:01Speaker 3: if you want to come back, you could be the guy.
- 4:03Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, no, I mean, I can't
- 4:05Speaker 3: move to Dayton. But I swear, I think they told
- 4:08Speaker 3: me how much they made. That's like $ 12, 000 a year
- 4:12Speaker 3: or something. You know, like, but you get to, you go,
- 4:14Speaker 3: you make a little extra money going to like car
- 4:16Speaker 3: dealerships and, you know, signings and stuff. And I'm like, oh, okay.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I was like, I think I'm good on that.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Like I think growing up, you think it's like a
- 4:25Speaker 1: bigger deal, but I think if you're only in like
- 4:27Speaker 1: a big market, but there was just a story that
- 4:30Speaker 1: went viral. Did you see that girl that like lost
- 4:32Speaker 1: her shit?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 1: She was like a local news person in Detroit. Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Which that's a big market, I guess.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a big market. And I guess she's
- 4:42Speaker 1: got fired, but now she's suing. And so they pulled
- 4:46Speaker 1: up this old footage of her being like, wait a minute,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to read the teleprompter. Well, LaShawn was told
- 4:55Speaker 1: to do that. whatever. And then like the LaShawn or
- 5:00Speaker 1: whatever his name was comes to like, just Mike, the bitch, whatever.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And she's like, she's such a fucking bitch. Like what? Okay.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Walk away. I'm like, Oh my God. If they do
- 5:10Speaker 1: a real housewives of Detroit, this chick has a job.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Cause she's like, it's a pretty good clip. I mean,
- 5:15Speaker 3: now they just want those clips to go viral. Anytime
- 5:17Speaker 3: that they do like something dirty. Did you see the
- 5:19Speaker 3: girl talking about, there was another one like same day.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 3: It was like a morning show. And she was talking about,
- 5:25Speaker 3: would you eat a beaver? You know, they were talking
- 5:28Speaker 3: about surviving in the woods.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Oh.
- 5:30Speaker 3: And she's talking to the two co-hosts. And she's saying,
- 5:32Speaker 3: a lot of these people eat beaver. Would you eat
- 5:35Speaker 3: a beaver? And that guy starts cracking up. And, like,
- 5:37Speaker 3: they must love it if it goes viral.
- 5:39Speaker 1: The other one I saw was it was a QVC-type
- 5:42Speaker 1: thing for wigs. Yeah. And she's like, you know... Instead
- 5:47Speaker 1: of having to give a blow job, you can just
- 5:50Speaker 1: wear this wig, meaning she meant to say blow out.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Blow out, yeah.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And a lot of people made fun of that.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Oh, she was on Jimmy Fallon.
- 5:57Speaker 1: She was?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah, next day she did a whole Jimmy Fallon bit.
- 6:00Speaker 3: That woman really took off.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Where is Takui? What was it? Takui, what is it?
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm saying it wrong.
- 6:09Speaker 5: Taktua?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Was it Taktua?
- 6:12Speaker 3: Taktua.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Hawk Tua. What was it?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Hawk Tua, yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Hawk Tua.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that girl.
- 6:17Speaker 1: When's her documentary coming out? Because she's been gone just
- 6:19Speaker 1: enough to get just like a 35-minute one-off doc.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Well, I think the reason that she is gone is
- 6:28Speaker 3: because there was a criminal investigation into her. She did
- 6:32Speaker 3: like a Bitcoin or something. And it was at the
- 6:34Speaker 3: point where she could be put in jail for manipulating
- 6:38Speaker 3: something with Bitcoin. So she had to go away.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Well, since we're talking about that, let's talk about the
- 6:47Speaker 1: Gates girl. So Bill Gates' daughter. Yes. And some other
- 6:52Speaker 1: billionaire nepo girl. I've seen this story a few times,
- 6:56Speaker 1: so I'm going to try to explain it the best
- 6:57Speaker 1: I can. But they started a company about, it's like
- 7:03Speaker 1: an app with shopping or something. Yeah. And all these other,
- 7:07Speaker 1: like Kris Jenner and, you know, the people like that,
- 7:10Speaker 1: they're like, you know, in that circle of bad boss ladies,
- 7:15Speaker 1: they all invested in it. And now she's under investigation
- 7:19Speaker 1: because she does this thing called cookie stuffing.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Cookie stuffing.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And you're like, wait, first I was like, wait, she's
- 7:27Speaker 1: selling cookies, what? The easiest way I think I can
- 7:30Speaker 1: understand it is, what's interesting is she had all these influencers,
- 7:35Speaker 1: high up influencers being part of her company.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But really there's so many people now and it's great
- 7:42Speaker 1: that even if you have, you know, a thousand followers
- 7:45Speaker 1: and you wear a cute top, you can just put
- 7:47Speaker 1: a link and go, Hey, this is where you get
- 7:48Speaker 1: the top. And that girl gets whatever, 12 cents.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And why not? Right. Why not? You're, you're spending the
- 7:55Speaker 1: time doing it. The way they did it was they
- 7:59Speaker 1: were somehow latching on to those links or something, which
- 8:03Speaker 1: is illegal. So they would get all, even though they,
- 8:07Speaker 1: even though the person found it through this one influencer,
- 8:11Speaker 1: somehow that company was getting that extra what do you
- 8:15Speaker 1: call it, like money, the extra link, the connection, whatever.
- 8:19Speaker 3: They were getting the commission for it.
- 8:20Speaker 1: They were getting the commission.
- 8:21Speaker 3: There was stuff in cookies or something.
- 8:23Speaker 1: There was stuff in cookies. And so they looked up
- 8:26Speaker 1: and they have all the emails and text messages between
- 8:30Speaker 1: the Gates girl and a couple other people, like clearly
- 8:34Speaker 1: talking about the cookie and make sure we capture it
- 8:37Speaker 1: all and everything. So it's like, they, she can't be
- 8:40Speaker 1: walking around. Like, I didn't know what was going on.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I was just the face of it. No, it like
- 8:44Speaker 1: appears that she knew what was going on. And they're like, well,
- 8:47Speaker 1: let's make sure we capture them all. Like, what are
- 8:49Speaker 1: we doing? We need to capture it all. And the,
- 8:53Speaker 1: the crime 20 years can be up to.
- 8:55Speaker 3: 20 years, which won't happen to her, but won't happen.
- 8:59Speaker 1: To her, but it would be kind of great. if
- 9:03Speaker 1: she went for, at least got to meet One Drop.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Like they could have fun together. Because Jen Shaw from
- 9:13Speaker 1: Real House of Salt Lake City, she already left One Drop.
- 9:16Speaker 3: One Drop Elizabeth.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Holmes is still in the Texas one. Didn't she have
- 9:21Speaker 1: a child while in prison? Yeah. And the husband, she
- 9:24Speaker 1: married someone really, like an heir to like hotels. And
- 9:29Speaker 1: he goes and visits. I want to say there's two kids.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Really?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 9:33Speaker 3: What hotels in the air?
- 9:35Speaker 1: No, like a big, like his parents are really wealthy.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I feel like if you're going to be having sex
- 9:40Speaker 3: with her in prison, I feel like you're not.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't know that he can have sex.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It's not the four seasons.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I don't know that they can meet in the little
- 9:47Speaker 1: cabins and have sex. I don't think it's that.
- 9:49Speaker 3: How'd she get pregnant then? Was it beforehand?
- 9:51Speaker 1: No, she was pregnant before. Oh, okay. While she was waiting,
- 9:54Speaker 1: she had a kid or two.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Then went to prison. I believe her sentence is eight years.
- 9:59Speaker 1: She's been there like four yeah and um i'm sure
- 10:03Speaker 1: when she comes out security prison yeah and i'm sure
- 10:06Speaker 1: when she comes out she'll have a reality show or
- 10:08Speaker 1: a documentary or she'll be saying buy this shirt if.
- 10:13Speaker 3: You like this black turtleneck.
- 10:16Speaker 1: A lot of people say, hey, I know it's maybe
- 10:19Speaker 1: a bad memory, but I love your black fitted turtleneck.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And I want to tell you about one that is
- 10:24Speaker 1: completely cotton. We cut out the middleman. Yeah. So she
- 10:29Speaker 1: doesn't talk that way anymore.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Oh, she doesn't?
- 10:31Speaker 1: No, that was a whole act so that she sounded
- 10:35Speaker 1: like these Google dudes that she was like obsessed with.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Or even like, she wore the black turtleneck because what's
- 10:41Speaker 1: his name wore the black turtleneck? The one that died.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Apple, yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 1: What was his name?
- 10:45Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Ashton Kutcher played him.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. Steve Jobs.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Steve Jobs, yeah. She was kind of either on purpose
- 10:52Speaker 1: or not on purpose imitating Steve Jobs. Yeah. But the
- 10:56Speaker 1: Gates girl could go, they could have a little, you know,
- 11:01Speaker 1: white collar scammy like mentor, big sister, little sister, like
- 11:05Speaker 1: a little like sorority.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And she could be like, Oh, my big is Elizabeth Holmes.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I feel like the Gates girl, there must be some
- 11:13Speaker 3: money left for her, right? There'll be a will or
- 11:15Speaker 3: something eventually. There's got to be money there. He's one
- 11:18Speaker 3: of the richest men in the world. Does she have
- 11:20Speaker 3: to be stuffing cookies or working for some website?
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think that it was the Gates once they got divorced.
- 11:26Speaker 3: They gave it all away.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Because Bill Gates was also friends with Epstein, right?
- 11:30Speaker 3: Oh, was he ever.
- 11:31Speaker 1: And then his wife, ex-wife's McKenzie.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And she... has given so much to charity and everything.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And I want to say that they said, we're not
- 11:40Speaker 1: leaving our kids any money, but clearly there's like, I think.
- 11:42Speaker 3: It's Melinda Gates, Melinda.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Oh, Melinda.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And I think that they were one of those that
- 11:47Speaker 1: are like, you know, we're not leaving our kids anything.
- 11:51Speaker 1: We're whatever, giving it all to charity, but they'll have
- 11:53Speaker 1: these things. Listen, I mean, obviously she'll have access to
- 11:56Speaker 1: the best attorneys, but just like Elizabeth Holmes, She has
- 12:00Speaker 1: to prove she didn't know this was going on, that
- 12:03Speaker 1: she started this and all these people under her were
- 12:05Speaker 1: doing this shady shit. This is like Iran-Contra scandal with Reagan.
- 12:11Speaker 1: That's how old I am. They have to act like, oh,
- 12:14Speaker 1: she didn't know. She was just the girl that showed
- 12:16Speaker 1: up to cute lunches and did this fun thing because
- 12:21Speaker 1: she was fresh out of college and they had the capital.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And they could get more capital because they're the Gates
- 12:25Speaker 1: and everybody wanted to be friends with her. So that's
- 12:28Speaker 1: what they'd have to prove. But I think I'm just
- 12:31Speaker 1: going to keep talking about it because I want to
- 12:33Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Well, now in the billionaire, because the other ones, Warren
- 12:37Speaker 3: Buffett also says he's giving nothing to his children.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Now, does that really mean nothing? Or does that mean, no,
- 12:43Speaker 3: I'm not going to give you enough so you can
- 12:45Speaker 3: get a waterfall in your bedroom? You know, like one
- 12:46Speaker 3: of the... Like, don't go crazy, but you're not going
- 12:50Speaker 3: to be homeless either.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Right. I think there's trust funds and things where they're like, okay,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you could do whatever you want. You could be like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you get this much at 25. If you produce two children,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you're going to get this much at 40. If at 55, okay,
- 13:07Speaker 1: now you can enjoy your life just so that you
- 13:10Speaker 1: aren't a complete loser and you have some motivation to
- 13:13Speaker 1: do something.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Um, like I was just talking to somebody and they,
- 13:17Speaker 1: they know a family that, um, you know, she married
- 13:20Speaker 1: a very rich trust fund type of guy or whatever
- 13:23Speaker 1: it is. And the parents paid for the house and
- 13:25Speaker 1: the parents paid for all the private school, but they
- 13:28Speaker 1: don't have extra money for like vacations and they don't
- 13:30Speaker 1: have extra money to send now the kid to like
- 13:33Speaker 1: the really expensive college that she got into.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Because the grandparents are finally like, oh my God, fucking
- 13:38Speaker 1: go get a job. Like your kids, I'm not paying
- 13:41Speaker 1: for the grandkids college to like do something. So I
- 13:45Speaker 1: think that's what they're trying to say is because they're
- 13:47Speaker 1: so uber wealthy, like in the billions, they have to
- 13:51Speaker 1: figure out a way that still their child will like
- 13:54Speaker 1: not become a complete drug addict and loser and contribute
- 13:58Speaker 1: something to society. So they're probably all excited when the
- 14:01Speaker 1: Gates daughter found a friend who was also a billionaire's daughter.
- 14:04Speaker 1: And they're like, hey girl. Let's be bad bitches together.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And then they realize, oh my God, not only are
- 14:11Speaker 1: you doing a shady thing, but again, you're stealing from
- 14:14Speaker 1: other women that are working so hard posting every day
- 14:19Speaker 1: to be a bad bitch. You're like stealing 12 cents
- 14:22Speaker 1: from them every time. Like, and so I really, I
- 14:25Speaker 1: hope that, um, I hope there's some real punishment. Because
- 14:28Speaker 1: when you look at someone who gets thrown into jail
- 14:31Speaker 1: for six months because they wrote a bad check at
- 14:33Speaker 1: a grocery store to buy groceries for their kids.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but their dad's not Bill Gates.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Right, exactly. But that's the thing. That's not right.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Right. But it is funny that I see those commercials.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Like in afternoon television, they have these commercials for I
- 14:48Speaker 3: guess these websites where they're like, come on over to
- 14:51Speaker 3: cash dash. And then you have the people who did it.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And they're like, I got a blender for four cents.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And I'm like, that can't be. That's got to be
- 15:00Speaker 3: a scam, right? They're like these different apps that they
- 15:03Speaker 3: have commercials for. It's like afternoon television where commercials are
- 15:08Speaker 3: aimed at people who are like.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And what do you think? That you're just basically giving
- 15:11Speaker 1: all your information for them to screw you later.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yes. Somehow they just want your information. I don't think
- 15:17Speaker 3: you ever actually get a blender for four cents.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Right.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I'd like to see the person who actually got the
- 15:22Speaker 3: four cent blender. I don't think that's actually happening.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Or like companies that are like, are you in tax debt?
- 15:26Speaker 1: We'll help you.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And so then I, I know that some are legit,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but some are not. Cause then somebody will like, okay,
- 15:34Speaker 1: oh my God, thank you. I haven't paid my taxes
- 15:36Speaker 1: in five years. I don't know what I'm going to do. Okay.
- 15:38Speaker 1: We'll give us, you know, $ 4, 000 and we're going to
- 15:41Speaker 1: help you.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And then like, they're like, well, now you need to
- 15:45Speaker 1: pay more so we can help you or get the
- 15:47Speaker 1: course or whatever. And then they disappear. And then you're like,
- 15:50Speaker 1: oh shit. You know?
- 15:51Speaker 3: Thank God I've never had to do any of like
- 15:54Speaker 3: check cashing plays or anything like that. I mean, life's
- 15:57Speaker 3: been okay.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I never had to go into a check cashing place
- 16:00Speaker 3: and get payday loans.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Like, we'll get you that $ 50 you need.
- 16:07Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 16:09Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 16:15Speaker 4: before bed.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Or two, you know.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Nobody's watching.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You deserve a treat.
- 16:25Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 16:28Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 16:40Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 16:43Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks. and yet somehow have found a
- 16:47Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 16:53Speaker 2: the Emmys and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 16:56Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 16:59Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 17:01Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 17:04Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 17:06Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 17:07Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 17:08Speaker 3: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 17:11Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 17:16Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through.
- 17:18Speaker 3: It's about what happens next.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 17:22Speaker 1: every day was.
- 17:23Speaker 6: You're worth the work.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 17:28Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 17:31Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Rosie O'Donnell, fresh from her facelift, and she also said
- 17:49Speaker 1: that it was a horrifying experience having to play a
- 17:52Speaker 1: lesbian opposite Miranda Hobbs. in in um and just like
- 17:56Speaker 1: that remember she was the lesbian nun.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yes oh my god i forgot about that i know it's.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Such a golden era of time for us i know
- 18:03Speaker 1: i'll never forgive myself for being so.
- 18:05Speaker 3: So rosie's just back i thought she was gonna go away.
- 18:07Speaker 1: She did she said she went to ireland yeah and
- 18:10Speaker 1: then they called her and said well do you want
- 18:12Speaker 1: to do the jimmy kimmel show and she was like
- 18:14Speaker 1: yeah like i hate america but not if it means
- 18:17Speaker 1: i can be on tv yeah so then she came
- 18:19Speaker 1: back and um I don't watch these shows. I mean,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I saw the clip. It's so... Tell me, how is
- 18:27Speaker 1: it going this week for her?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Well, I watched a couple of her monologues. And I mean,
- 18:31Speaker 3: I guess we're going to go back 30 years to
- 18:33Speaker 3: when she, you know... We all remember the Rosie O'Donnell
- 18:36Speaker 3: show where she pretended to be straight and she was
- 18:40Speaker 3: into Tom Cruise.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so in love with Tom Cruise.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and we all bought it at the time.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And she always was singing. She was obsessed with, like,
- 18:46Speaker 1: every week there'd be at least one person from Broadway on.
- 18:49Speaker 3: A Broadway person.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Which, as someone that lived in L.A., I was like,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't know who these Broadway people are. I'm never
- 18:54Speaker 1: going to see these shows.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Right, yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Like, I mean, I guess it was good that she
- 18:58Speaker 1: promoted Broadway, but I was always like, can we just
- 19:00Speaker 1: stick to, like, the TV people that I.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Know who they are?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I figured she would do a different shtick now because
- 19:07Speaker 3: it's been a long time when we all. You know
- 19:09Speaker 3: that Rose, he's not into Tom Cruise.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 3: But she's still doing cutie patootie and stuff. She did
- 19:15Speaker 3: it in the monologue. People like applauding. She goes, you know, Guillermo,
- 19:19Speaker 3: the sidekick. She goes, and look at you, Guillermo, cutie patootie.
- 19:24Speaker 3: And people are like, yay, from 30 years ago. And
- 19:27Speaker 3: then she goes to the desk where she does her
- 19:29Speaker 3: celebrity interviews. And she's got like little dolls and koosh
- 19:32Speaker 3: balls and stuff.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Like from 30 years ago. And I'm like, come on.
- 19:36Speaker 3: I think we've all advanced as a society beyond that
- 19:39Speaker 3: corny shit. You know what I mean?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Well, I saw a clip of Kathy Griffin talking directly
- 19:48Speaker 1: to the camera. saying like, a lot of people have
- 19:52Speaker 1: been asking me when I'm going to be on this
- 19:54Speaker 1: week because Rosie and I are such good friends. And
- 19:58Speaker 1: I am not going to be, and I'm pretty sad
- 20:00Speaker 1: and bitter about it though. I want everyone to watch
- 20:03Speaker 1: her cause she's so great, but I really thought like,
- 20:07Speaker 1: you know, but I guess she has no say or
- 20:09Speaker 1: maybe she does in putting who she wants on the show.
- 20:12Speaker 3: And Kathy Griffin must know it's going to get like,
- 20:16Speaker 3: who's going to see it. Nobody's watching.
- 20:18Speaker 1: But also I'm just gonna, I kind of want to
- 20:19Speaker 1: be like, yeah, that's Hollywood. Yeah. She's finally back on TV.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You think she's going to push the agenda of having
- 20:26Speaker 1: someone that's, no offense, Kathy, like over having like an
- 20:30Speaker 1: Alex Earl or somebody on that's going to bring in
- 20:32Speaker 1: the audience?
- 20:34Speaker 6: Uh-huh.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it was just kind of like, but
- 20:37Speaker 1: I liked that she mentioned it and was like, yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I didn't get asked to do it, but yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I feel like there's a couple of other people on
- 20:43Speaker 3: higher up on the totem pole than Kathy Griffin. Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Yeah. But again, like, come on, have me on. We
- 20:48Speaker 1: both hate the same man. Like we could have so
- 20:51Speaker 1: much fun together. Let's go for it. Um, speaking of
- 20:55Speaker 1: Alex Earl, she has, you know, this is the biggest influencer, uh,
- 21:00Speaker 1: You get, for people that don't follow this stuff, you're like,
- 21:03Speaker 1: Alex Earl, Alex Cooper. Alex Cooper is Call Her Daddy.
- 21:07Speaker 1: And Alex Cooper was kind of the original. She found
- 21:11Speaker 1: Alex Earl, who became famous by just doing these just
- 21:15Speaker 1: explosive TikToks while she was at the University of Miami
- 21:17Speaker 1: of getting ready and all this stuff. And then she
- 21:20Speaker 1: was dating this cute football player named Braxton. And people
- 21:23Speaker 1: just fell in love with her.
- 21:24Speaker 3: She had acne. That was a problem. She had some
- 21:26Speaker 3: acne issues. That was... I'm telling you, that's why she
- 21:28Speaker 3: became famous. She was dealing with acne and people were
- 21:32Speaker 3: drawn to that.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Okay. The realness.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 1: She was like, I'm getting a boob job. Her body
- 21:39Speaker 1: is beyond banging. And then she has this interesting family.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So her parents... got divorced because her dad was having
- 21:48Speaker 1: an affair with her now stepmom, who was also previously
- 21:54Speaker 1: famous for having an affair with Eliot Spitzer, the governor
- 21:58Speaker 1: of New York. Oh, yes. Yes. So it was found
- 22:01Speaker 1: out that he was using call girls. Yeah. And she
- 22:04Speaker 1: was one of them. And she didn't crawl away. She
- 22:08Speaker 1: was doing interviews. She was like, yeah, like, I'm a
- 22:11Speaker 1: happy hooker. Like, who cares?
- 22:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And then years pass and she and Alex's dad fall
- 22:18Speaker 1: in love. It's clear from the trailer. Yes, it was
- 22:22Speaker 1: an affair. And the mom is also on the show
- 22:25Speaker 1: with her new husband. And she's like, yeah, was it
- 22:29Speaker 1: hard to hang out with the woman that broke up
- 22:31Speaker 1: my marriage? Yeah. Yeah. But we're all doing fine and
- 22:35Speaker 1: we're on a TV show. And then the new mom
- 22:39Speaker 1: has three kids. So she has three half siblings. And
- 22:43Speaker 1: then she has one full sister who's a brunette version
- 22:45Speaker 1: of her. And that's the show, Earl Meets World.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Does anybody care about this? Like, am I crazy? Maybe
- 22:54Speaker 3: I should care more about the Alex Earl and her family.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It's a huge fanbase. I don't know. I don't know
- 23:02Speaker 1: that I'll be watching it, to be honest. I don't
- 23:04Speaker 1: really care. And it's like so many people are going
- 23:06Speaker 1: to find out more about me. And I'm like, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: don't know how much more there is to find out
- 23:10Speaker 1: about you. Like you chronicle everything, except we're going to
- 23:14Speaker 1: see like, you know, your funky brother and like, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 1: maybe the stepmom and bring up the fact that she
- 23:20Speaker 1: was a hooker and it's fine. I mean, I'm like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I guess it's good that it's just out there. Like,
- 23:25Speaker 1: I guess if that's your... origin story you're like you
- 23:28Speaker 1: know what let's just make money at it and put
- 23:30Speaker 1: on a reality show because the kids are gonna know anyway.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah and she's like the get like for every party
- 23:36Speaker 3: i hear you know anything that was going on in
- 23:38Speaker 3: the hamptons or this summer or it's like alex earl was.
- 23:41Speaker 1: There like i mean it is really interesting imagine like
- 23:45Speaker 1: i don't think i know anybody that's like our age
- 23:48Speaker 1: that's like yeah i always knew that my mom was
- 23:52Speaker 1: like a high class hooker growing up and it was
- 23:55Speaker 1: totally fine It's just.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Something she did.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Like, I don't know. Like, how can you, do you
- 24:01Speaker 1: tell your kids, like, this is why I want you
- 24:04Speaker 1: to have an education. Though she did have an education.
- 24:07Speaker 1: She like went to college. It was just like, I
- 24:09Speaker 1: don't know anybody else that's doing OnlyFans. It's like, well,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you know, I don't really want to work in this
- 24:14Speaker 1: cubicle or I can like take photos of my garage.
- 24:17Speaker 3: My mother would be the worst hooker, I think. She's just, oh, oh,
- 24:21Speaker 3: this room's too cold. It's too cold. Is there anybody
- 24:26Speaker 3: here to turn up the heat? And like, oh, the
- 24:28Speaker 3: guy would be like, are we going to do it
- 24:30Speaker 3: or what? Nobody, I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I've been obsessed with hookers my whole life. Yeah. Since
- 24:36Speaker 1: my mom told me, well, you know, she sold her body,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you know, like when we're talking about like oldest profession
- 24:42Speaker 1: in the book, it's in the Bible. Yeah. Like as
- 24:44Speaker 1: a kid at like Catholic school, you're reading about hookers.
- 24:47Speaker 3: And in the 80s and 90s, a lot of movie,
- 24:49Speaker 3: a lot of hooker movies. So many hooker movies.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And then of course, Pretty Woman is, you know, made
- 24:54Speaker 1: it sound, glamorized it. Cause you're like, yeah, I want
- 24:57Speaker 1: to stay at the Beverly Wilshire. I want to meet
- 24:59Speaker 1: Richard Gere. But then when you really think about it,
- 25:02Speaker 1: you're like, she was just sucking a dirty dick in
- 25:04Speaker 1: a car off of Hollywood Boulevard before she got to
- 25:08Speaker 1: the Beverly Wilshire.
- 25:09Speaker 3: With Laura San Giacomo. Wasn't your friend, her girlfriend? Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Was that her last name? And then like the wig,
- 25:16Speaker 1: like and all that. But yeah, Anyway, yeah, maybe people want...
- 25:20Speaker 1: I probably just got a lot of people to watch.
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's good for her. But before Pretty Woman... She's a
- 25:24Speaker 1: very likable character. And she is... There's a clip where she...
- 25:28Speaker 1: where you think she's going to say the truth of
- 25:30Speaker 1: why she and Alex Cooper don't like each other anymore
- 25:34Speaker 1: because she was under Alex Cooper's podcast and then left.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And it was mostly like the dad was like, this
- 25:40Speaker 1: is a bad deal. And nobody ever knew what happened.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:44Speaker 1: And there were people, Alex, most people were team Alex
- 25:47Speaker 1: or all just because they think she's like a sweeter,
- 25:49Speaker 1: nicer personality.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:50Speaker 1: And of course, Alex Cooper is still more popular than
- 25:53Speaker 1: she or richer or whatever. And I'm like, just sometimes
- 25:56Speaker 1: deals don't work out. Like, sometimes it just doesn't work out.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Whatever it was. She wasn't good at doing the podcasting.
- 26:02Speaker 1: She's better at doing this.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Who knows what it was. I saw the Dave Portnoy
- 26:05Speaker 3: guy who was, you know, basically started all that.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 3: And he was... His take on it was Alex Earle
- 26:10Speaker 3: didn't need... At that point, she was already big enough
- 26:13Speaker 3: that she didn't need Alex Cooper anymore. So the deal
- 26:15Speaker 3: should have never happened in.
- 26:16Speaker 1: The first place. Or like, when you're that big, you know,
- 26:20Speaker 1: doing an hour podcast... Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Which now.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You know, like you can do a funny clip or
- 26:26Speaker 1: a pretty clip with your perfect body while you're getting
- 26:28Speaker 1: ready and get 5 million views and not one is negative.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And they're just like, I love that fit. Your abs
- 26:35Speaker 1: are killing me. You're so cute. Have the best time tonight. Okay.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Or you can go to the unwell production offices and
- 26:43Speaker 1: sit down and have them go, hey, your last interviews
- 26:45Speaker 1: were really dull.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:47Speaker 1: You need to do your prep work and you need
- 26:50Speaker 1: to read these five ads and do them over again.
- 26:53Speaker 6: And....
- 26:54Speaker 1: You know, read the comments and the comments are like,
- 26:57Speaker 1: Oh my God, like this was so boring. Her voice
- 27:00Speaker 1: is annoying. Like we've already heard from this person before.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Why is she getting leftover interviewees? And she's probably like, well,
- 27:06Speaker 1: this is kind of hurting my mental health and it
- 27:08Speaker 1: makes me not want to dance around in a bikini anymore.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And that's what gets 5 million views. So goodbye to
- 27:13Speaker 1: the podcast. It's not for everybody.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Don't ever stop dancing in a bikini. That's, I think
- 27:17Speaker 3: it's a good tip for everybody.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Uh, agree yeah why do you have to where why
- 27:24Speaker 1: do you have to go put on sweats and headphones
- 27:26Speaker 1: right when you should just be dancing on a yacht
- 27:29Speaker 1: in a bikini and alice.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Cooper's gone it's like full mommy podcast now have.
- 27:33Speaker 1: You seen it well she's about to give birth.
- 27:35Speaker 3: I know but still i.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And she's she she did a smart thing with all
- 27:39Speaker 1: her millions because she they were getting a lot of
- 27:42Speaker 1: negative press that he was like you know a dick
- 27:45Speaker 1: to work for yeah And then their unwell drink folded,
- 27:49Speaker 1: which was at Target and different places.
- 27:51Speaker 3: It was water, right?
- 27:52Speaker 1: It was like a, I understood it as like a
- 27:55Speaker 1: Pedialyte when you're hungover.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Oh.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Or like a dehydration drink.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Yeah. It didn't last very long. I feel like it
- 28:02Speaker 3: just came out.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Right. And so it didn't work.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:07Speaker 1: But their partner was like Pepsi-Cola. So like there was
- 28:09Speaker 1: probably a reason where just the numbers just didn't work out.
- 28:12Speaker 1: It doesn't show anything. You know, what does she know about? drinks,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you know? And so anyway, it folded. So I think
- 28:20Speaker 1: in just to get any conversation to stop, she did
- 28:23Speaker 1: a really nice thing where she's like, I'm going to
- 28:26Speaker 1: pay for mother's registries for their babies. I'm going to
- 28:30Speaker 1: get your baby registry, send them to me, you know?
- 28:34Speaker 1: So she's doing a very generous thing and, and, You know,
- 28:38Speaker 1: so she's got a lot of money. But then, of course,
- 28:39Speaker 1: there's people like, well, I haven't gotten mine paid for yet.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You know, like, all right. I've been listening to Alex
- 28:45Speaker 1: Cooper since she and Sophia were talking about sucking dicks.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, blowjobs and stuff.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Two in a day.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Where's mine? I could use some diapers, bitch.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Yeah, right, right, right.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, God, I can't do everybody. Can't get.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Okay. The Chris Hansen movie is coming out on Paramount +.
- 29:07Speaker 1: And Robert Pattinson.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Have you seen the trailer? Robert Pattinson, yeah.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Excellent actor. Oh, my God.
- 29:13Speaker 3: It looks so.
- 29:14Speaker 1: He embodies him.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:16Speaker 1: And from what my understanding is, Chris Hansen does not
- 29:20Speaker 1: have any part of it.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So in this interview, they were like, how are you
- 29:26Speaker 1: feeling about it? And he's like, yeah, I'm guessing maybe
- 29:30Speaker 1: it's not going to make me look that great. Because
- 29:34Speaker 1: this interviewer brought up this point that was like, What
- 29:37Speaker 1: you did to catch a predator and everything. now, almost
- 29:42Speaker 1: 20 years later, sex trafficking and child pedophilia is like
- 29:48Speaker 1: worse than ever.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:49Speaker 1: So it actually didn't do any good. And if anything,
- 29:54Speaker 1: do you think you piqued more of an interest in
- 29:58Speaker 1: people that do it the wanting to know what kind
- 30:01Speaker 1: of people do it, like what, you know? And he's
- 30:04Speaker 1: kind of just like, well, I mean, obviously, I mean,
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm guessing he's like, well, no, that was never my intention.
- 30:08Speaker 1: My intention was to catch people doing it, humiliate them
- 30:11Speaker 1: and make people stop doing it or thinking of doing
- 30:14Speaker 1: it because you might get caught. I mean, I think
- 30:16Speaker 1: the intention was great, but I mean, we did a
- 30:22Speaker 1: sketch at Chelsea Lately to catch a little person. I
- 30:27Speaker 1: think I pitched it. And cause I was obsessed with
- 30:30Speaker 1: the show. And we literally had a thing. We, I
- 30:35Speaker 1: remember the house that we went to, it was like
- 30:37Speaker 1: off of like, we were in the West side. So
- 30:39Speaker 1: it was a little house on the West side that
- 30:40Speaker 1: would like, it was somebody's house that we were able
- 30:42Speaker 1: to use. It would be like low budget. And, um,
- 30:46Speaker 1: and I think Chelsea was supposed to be like the
- 30:48Speaker 1: Chris Hansen character. And so somebody would like, just like that, like,
- 30:54Speaker 1: you know, Oh, Hey, you know, I wanted to meet
- 30:56Speaker 1: a little person. And then Chewy comes and the guy
- 31:00Speaker 1: is like, yeah, let's hang out, whatever. And then, um,
- 31:03Speaker 1: then Chewy leaves and then Chelsea comes in and she's like, Hey,
- 31:07Speaker 1: sick fuck. Like.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Why don't you have a seat?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 1: With, with the yellow, yellow, um, folded iPad, not iPad,
- 31:16Speaker 1: the yellow papers. And, um, So, yeah, I mean, it
- 31:21Speaker 1: became a joke. It became in the zeitgeist and all
- 31:25Speaker 1: of that.
- 31:26Speaker 3: What I'm gathering from the trailer, it seems, and this
- 31:29Speaker 3: just could be something that I just see, it seems
- 31:32Speaker 3: that they get to the point where it's such a
- 31:34Speaker 3: hit that they show this in the trailer. It's like
- 31:37Speaker 3: a network executive going, okay, it's such a hit. We
- 31:40Speaker 3: need it on every night, prime time. That's the name
- 31:42Speaker 3: of the movie. It's called Prime Time. And it looks
- 31:45Speaker 3: as if they begin to start casting it. Because they
- 31:48Speaker 3: have a kid in the trailer. And he's like, what
- 31:51Speaker 3: am I doing? He goes, you're playing a part of
- 31:53Speaker 3: a child molester. So I think that's where he gets
- 31:58Speaker 3: into trouble. Because later, in the later episodes, I believe
- 32:02Speaker 3: they began casting it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: What I also recall is that there were, it became,
- 32:08Speaker 1: and my sister, a criminal defense attorney, I remember I
- 32:10Speaker 1: spoke to her about it. It really verged on entrapment. Yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 1: And so there was that. And then I want to
- 32:18Speaker 1: say of some of these quote unquote alleged predators, like
- 32:24Speaker 1: suicide happened with that person after ending their life and everything,
- 32:28Speaker 1: because not only are you caught in this way, I
- 32:30Speaker 1: see them doing it like online a lot where people
- 32:33Speaker 1: are just taking it into their own. They're just doing
- 32:35Speaker 1: this on their own and they're like going up And
- 32:38Speaker 1: they're like making the guy call his wife and say, yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: I was trying to.
- 32:43Speaker 3: In Walmart and stuff.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:44Speaker 1: And they're like, and she's like, what's going on? And
- 32:46Speaker 1: he's like, um, I was trying to meet a 14
- 32:49Speaker 1: year old. What? Yeah. I was trying to meet a
- 32:52Speaker 1: 14 year old just to like talk to them. And
- 32:56Speaker 1: it wasn't a 14 year old. And I just, I
- 32:58Speaker 1: had to call and tell your wife what else? And
- 33:00Speaker 1: he's like, oh, like I, I did an interview actually, Drake,
- 33:04Speaker 1: we have to look this up. Because maybe this would
- 33:05Speaker 1: be a good one to just throw on. I interviewed
- 33:08Speaker 1: him like seven years ago, Chris Hansen.
- 33:10Speaker 3: On Juicy Scoop?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And asking all about it and what happened. Because
- 33:13Speaker 1: he definitely like, there was a big slump in his
- 33:17Speaker 1: career after that. Because it was like, this is all
- 33:19Speaker 1: you are known for. And then because of these things
- 33:21Speaker 1: that happened that he was accused of.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I think it's still slumping. He's doing, he does Blue
- 33:28Speaker 3: Chew commercials now. Blue Chew? The dick pill. Is your
- 33:32Speaker 3: dick soft? Wouldn't it be hard again?
- 33:35Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 33:35Speaker 5: He does.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I'm not kidding.
- 33:36Speaker 1: That seems like that wouldn't be a good branding pairing.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I know, but he does Bluetooth commercials on Facebook. I've
- 33:42Speaker 3: seen them.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Well, if you don't, if you can't get hard. Oh,
- 33:49Speaker 1: my God. Well, then I remember I saw him like
- 33:52Speaker 1: at Craig's one night with his wife.
- 33:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:54Speaker 1: And. You know, I was like, yeah, come back on
- 33:57Speaker 1: the show. But I was like, what else are we
- 33:58Speaker 1: going to talk? Like, I already got your life story.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You know, now, of course, I'd like to have him
- 34:02Speaker 1: come back on once this gets out.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure he'll come out and pitch.
- 34:05Speaker 1: But I also think the way I remember it starting
- 34:10Speaker 1: is that, and that's what I think we'll find out.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And I can't remember if this is from my interview
- 34:14Speaker 1: or whatever. But it was just kind of like a
- 34:17Speaker 1: producer's idea of. to do this as like a segment.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Of- It was a segment on 2020 or whatever it was.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Right, yeah.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Dateline, Dateline.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It was just a segment.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was just a small segment. I
- 34:28Speaker 3: remember the first one. It was a rabbi that was
- 34:30Speaker 3: the first guy who got busted.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 34:33Speaker 3: And then I remember another guy.
- 34:35Speaker 1: The girl said- Where are they now? Hi, everybody. Where
- 34:37Speaker 1: do you have a fun show?
- 34:39Speaker 3: I was always a little worried.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Where are they now that were featured- on the first
- 34:43Speaker 1: and second season of To Catch a Predator.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I was always a little more waited out by the
- 34:46Speaker 3: weirdos up in the room on the computer and the
- 34:48Speaker 3: girl who would put on a, you know, be the
- 34:51Speaker 3: young girl. And she was in reality like 25, but
- 34:54Speaker 3: she had like, I don't know, an overactive thyroid or something.
- 34:57Speaker 3: So she spoke with a high voice and coming down
- 35:00Speaker 3: in a second. That you'd put on a face full of.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah. and i'm just gonna go get um i'm gonna
- 35:11Speaker 1: go change in my bathing suit okay how you doing
- 35:15Speaker 1: then he comes in how you doing you're like oh
- 35:18Speaker 1: no nodding i knew this was too good to be
- 35:20Speaker 1: true and one time when something's too good to be
- 35:23Speaker 1: true believe it she said.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Bring m & ms the girl you know like bring
- 35:26Speaker 3: m & ms and the guy shows up she goes
- 35:28Speaker 3: to bring the m & ms he taps his pocket
- 35:30Speaker 3: like did i yeah You're going to have to work
- 35:33Speaker 3: for those. It was fun to watch. I mean, I
- 35:39Speaker 3: know it's a dark subject, but it was fun to watch.
- 35:42Speaker 1: The thing is that you never knew where are they now.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Because of the way the internet was and stuff, it
- 35:48Speaker 1: wasn't like we could immediately find out, hey, what happened
- 35:51Speaker 1: with that rabbi? Did he get off because it was entrapment?
- 35:54Speaker 1: Did they never follow up? Because no crime was done. Right.
- 35:58Speaker 1: You know, was that because he just was talking to
- 36:02Speaker 1: the person who showed up, no crime was done. Right. Right.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Like you could talk to somebody and yeah, you know,
- 36:08Speaker 1: they're 14. You can, an adult can talk to a
- 36:11Speaker 1: 14 year old. They can go meet them. It's not
- 36:14Speaker 1: a crime to go meet somebody.
- 36:16Speaker 3: He used to say that. He used to say, you're
- 36:17Speaker 3: free to go. and they would walk outside in the
- 36:21Speaker 3: early days i think they would just leave but then
- 36:23Speaker 3: the cops were involved and they remember the guy would
- 36:25Speaker 3: dress like a bush in our episode i'm running i
- 36:27Speaker 3: dress like a bush.
- 36:29Speaker 1: In our episode we had a couple of the other
- 36:32Speaker 1: people like look like cops and yeah the guy.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Right like on the lawn in culver city i would
- 36:41Speaker 3: i would die to see that sketch right now.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I bet someone can find it it's very you know
- 36:45Speaker 1: what it might It was so like first season.
- 36:48Speaker 5: I remember.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It might not have been on YouTube. But okay. So also,
- 36:53Speaker 1: are you excited about the movie about the Beatles coming out?
- 36:57Speaker 3: I cannot be. It's not only about the Beatles. It's
- 37:01Speaker 3: a different movie about each Beatle. So every Beatle gets
- 37:04Speaker 3: their own movie. There are four movies.
- 37:07Speaker 1: That's right.
- 37:07Speaker 3: There's a Paul McCartney movie, a Ringo Starr movie, a
- 37:09Speaker 3: John Lennon movie, and a George Harrison movie.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And they're doing all the movies at the same time
- 37:13Speaker 1: because there's some parts where they need all four of
- 37:15Speaker 1: them together?
- 37:15Speaker 3: I think so, yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 1: What a way to milk it out and get a
- 37:20Speaker 1: ton of acting days.
- 37:21Speaker 3: For Beatles fans, it's the greatest thing ever.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Well, who isn't a Beatles fan? If you don't know
- 37:25Speaker 1: the story, it really is. And what great music and everything. Now,
- 37:30Speaker 1: didn't Michael Jackson buy the Beatles catalog? Yeah.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I mean, parts of it. He bought some Paul McCartney stuff.
- 37:39Speaker 3: He did have the Beatles catalog for a minute. I
- 37:41Speaker 3: think Paul McCartney wound up buying it back.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 37:45Speaker 1: So, you know, of course, some people are in the comments.
- 37:47Speaker 1: They don't look like them. Well, guess what? They're not them. Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 1: It's called acting.
- 37:52Speaker 3: I think they look.
- 37:52Speaker 1: It's called acting.
- 37:53Speaker 3: They got them down pretty good.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but, like, it shouldn't be about... First of all,
- 37:57Speaker 1: anyone going to the movie, most of the people don't remember...
- 38:02Speaker 1: The Beatles. They're just like, oh, I want to hear
- 38:03Speaker 1: about the Beatles because I've heard about it. They're not
- 38:05Speaker 1: going to be like, you know what? Barry's eye shape
- 38:08Speaker 1: is not the same as Ringo Starr. Yeah, as Ringo Starr. Like,
- 38:11Speaker 1: I mean, who cares?
- 38:12Speaker 3: Like, what are you going to do? It's good enough.
- 38:15Speaker 1: There's also Bradley Cooper is, I think, directing, maybe he's
- 38:19Speaker 1: in it too, but he's directing the Ocean's Eleven prequel
- 38:23Speaker 1: in Paris. Oh, yeah. So it's a prequel.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Wow, we're going back to that?
- 38:26Speaker 1: So now they can get... They don't need the same
- 38:28Speaker 1: people or anything, I don't think. Because it's like we're
- 38:30Speaker 1: going to... This is us 20 years younger.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Becoming, you know, sophisticated criminals or whatever.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Oh, so they have to do like young versions of
- 38:39Speaker 3: Brad Pitt and George Clooney?
- 38:40Speaker 1: That's what I think.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Which is kind of smart.
- 38:42Speaker 1: They get a whole bunch of people.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 1: And how they met, how they became such good friends.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:47Speaker 1: All those movies.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I mean, I like those movies.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I like the first one. With the music and the
- 38:51Speaker 1: narration and, you know, and then... So-and-so was a person
- 38:54Speaker 1: that did, did, did, did.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And they're like, yeah, they're in the, they're like just
- 38:59Speaker 1: folding napkins in the hotel.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, when it got to like 14 and 15,
- 39:04Speaker 3: I was kind of done with it. But the first
- 39:05Speaker 3: one's great.
- 39:06Speaker 1: And then there was the one with all girls.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Ocean's eight, I think it was called. Yeah.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So we'll see. Um, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are
- 39:14Speaker 1: advised to disappear professionally after latest business fail to salvage reputation.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I mean, this is just an opinion piece, but you know,
- 39:23Speaker 1: the executive produced also not cookie stuffing, but they crumble
- 39:28Speaker 1: the cookie, not the crumble cookies that people also say
- 39:31Speaker 1: have too much sugar, but the Girl Scout cookies. This
- 39:34Speaker 1: has not been a good week for cookies.
- 39:35Speaker 3: And it was in the theaters. Like it came out
- 39:38Speaker 3: in the movie theaters.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Who the fuck's going to go see that?
- 39:41Speaker 1: That's what I said. I'm like, it's really their fault. Like,
- 39:43Speaker 1: first of all, little girls aren't going to want to
- 39:45Speaker 1: see the documentary about how the cookies got made. Like,
- 39:49Speaker 1: already they have to stand out in front of, like,
- 39:50Speaker 1: dispensaries to try to sell the cookies to stoners, like,
- 39:54Speaker 1: in their outfits with their mother. And then, like, an
- 39:59Speaker 1: older Girl Scout, who cares?
- 40:01Speaker 3: Like, do you really care that, like?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Are there like 30 year olds that are like, I'm
- 40:05Speaker 1: a proud Girl Scout? No, they're like, oh yeah, we
- 40:07Speaker 1: had to do that. Yeah. Anyway, I still don't know
- 40:10Speaker 1: what's going to happen with them. And I worry about
- 40:13Speaker 1: it every day. Do you? Yeah.
- 40:15Speaker 3: I mean, I've given it some thought, but I think
- 40:17Speaker 3: they'll be fine. I think they're going to be fine.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Comes back, makes up with his brother, starts to be
- 40:23Speaker 1: a fun uncle. The kids are all, the grandkids are
- 40:26Speaker 1: all hanging out, the cousins.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Everybody would be like, great. Harry and his brother start
- 40:33Speaker 1: a podcast. That's the only podcast that's ever going to
- 40:37Speaker 1: work for Harry and Meghan is if Harry and William
- 40:41Speaker 1: start a podcast. William and Harry podcast.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that idea. But what are you going
- 40:48Speaker 3: to do with her? Like I've said it on here,
- 40:50Speaker 3: I think, before. Saturday Night Live is the only way
- 40:55Speaker 3: she could maybe save her career. If she goes on
- 40:59Speaker 3: Saturday Night Live and kind of makes fun of it all,
- 41:02Speaker 3: I feel like it would almost humanize her in a
- 41:05Speaker 3: way that she hasn't been at all, I think. And
- 41:08Speaker 3: I think that's the problem. She's getting too far away
- 41:11Speaker 3: where there's no, you don't even know who she is anymore.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I think the only way is if she really does
- 41:19Speaker 1: create some line of clothing or skincare or she hooks
- 41:25Speaker 1: up with some like unique patent, That is like really good.
- 41:30Speaker 1: And you're like, you know what? And it's not to
- 41:33Speaker 1: jam and it's not, you know, a cotton t-shirt. Like
- 41:37Speaker 1: it's gotta be something special. And then you're like, oh
- 41:40Speaker 1: my God, like she created the cure of cancer. Like
- 41:44Speaker 1: it's gotta be something that's just like.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Like they do over at Target. Like that woman from,
- 41:49Speaker 3: you know, she has her own line. Over there.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Joanna Gaines. I could do a Meghan Markle. A couple
- 41:54Speaker 3: of candles.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I don't think it should be a whole lot. Like maybe.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It could be like clothing or something. It's just got
- 41:59Speaker 1: to be like where you're like almost like Jessica Simpson.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Get the shoes.
- 42:04Speaker 1: The shoes are well priced.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Right.
- 42:08Speaker 1: They are always cute and they're supposedly like very comfortable.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 1: And it's like we don't care if she shows up fat,
- 42:18Speaker 1: thin or high anymore. Right. We don't care if she's
- 42:21Speaker 1: an alcoholic or not. We don't care if she gets
- 42:23Speaker 1: divorced or not. People like the shoes and they're still
- 42:26Speaker 1: going to buy the shoes.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Is she still in the shoes?
- 42:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they're still Justin Simpson shoes. And that's why she's
- 42:32Speaker 1: like a billionaire and it doesn't matter if she wants
- 42:34Speaker 1: to get back to singing or not. We're like, do
- 42:36Speaker 1: whatever you want because the shoes are still good. That's
- 42:39Speaker 1: what she has to do. She has to find something
- 42:41Speaker 1: that's like the product speaks for itself and it doesn't
- 42:44Speaker 1: really matter if you were a fan of hers or
- 42:47Speaker 1: if you thought that you know, she was a bitch
- 42:50Speaker 1: or that she didn't appreciate being a princess. You're just like,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I like that. That's the only thing.
- 42:54Speaker 6: Okay.
- 42:55Speaker 3: I like that one. I like that fix.
- 42:56Speaker 1: But I think the more, the more realistic thing is
- 42:59Speaker 1: that she'll just go do some hosting or reality show
- 43:02Speaker 1: type of thing that won't pay enough for her to
- 43:04Speaker 1: live in Santa Barbara.
- 43:06Speaker 3: It's beneath her, I believe. I wouldn't do that.
- 43:08Speaker 1: If I were a publicist. She just did a judging,
- 43:10Speaker 1: but that was a one-off in Australia. And she did
- 43:14Speaker 1: that thing that they teach you to do when you're
- 43:15Speaker 1: a host to go like this, to hold your hands
- 43:17Speaker 1: like this, like just, just the tips.
- 43:18Speaker 3: When she was standing up or she's sitting at a desk. Yeah.
- 43:22Speaker 1: And then somebody caught her in one of the, you
- 43:23Speaker 1: know how people are just obsessed with catching her lies. Yeah.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Cause she always says like, you know, I, I've been
- 43:29Speaker 1: working since I was, you know, nine and my, you know,
- 43:32Speaker 1: I came from humble beginnings and my mother worked and
- 43:35Speaker 1: she was getting her graduate degree. And my father was
- 43:37Speaker 1: on the set here and I was a latchkey kid
- 43:39Speaker 1: and did it. That's like one story. And then this one,
- 43:42Speaker 1: when she was doing the cooking thing, she was like,
- 43:45Speaker 1: we were always just a farm to table family. And
- 43:48Speaker 1: making our own fruits and vegetables and creating unique snacks
- 43:53Speaker 1: for when I came home from school. It's like, what?
- 43:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 1: You also said you like worked at your grandfather's like
- 43:59Speaker 1: hardware store. Like there were so many stories and people
- 44:02Speaker 1: are just like, just create some product with someone.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Speaking of being judges on shows like she was, have
- 44:09Speaker 3: you heard anything about the Howie Mandel show? what the
- 44:13Speaker 3: controversy with Howie Mandel.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I did see that clip. Yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 3: The clip of him talking about getting happy ending hand jobs.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I was shocked by that. So I saw that clip.
- 44:24Speaker 1: You know, he's had a podcast for a while with
- 44:27Speaker 1: his daughter. Yeah. And they had some other girl on that.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I feel like the girl, the guest was, is she
- 44:33Speaker 1: like a pretty OnlyFans person?
- 44:34Speaker 3: That's what it said. I heard that she was an
- 44:35Speaker 3: OnlyFans person. She was the guest. Yes. And I don't
- 44:38Speaker 3: know how it got to that point in the conversation,
- 44:41Speaker 3: but he begins to tell her that he gets hand
- 44:43Speaker 3: jobs at this place. He was a tuggy-tuggy. Tuggy-tuggy, that's
- 44:46Speaker 3: what he says.
- 44:47Speaker 1: And he's very nonchalant.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah, because I feel like it's a bullshit story. And
- 44:51Speaker 3: I feel like he was just looking for, because he
- 44:53Speaker 3: says $ 25, which that's not the case. And then he
- 44:56Speaker 3: says he wanted a massage afterwards, which, and then the
- 44:59Speaker 3: girl actually says, she goes, well, that's not how it works.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Happy ending is the ending. It's not the beginning. So
- 45:03Speaker 3: all of it seemed like, but the more interesting part,
- 45:06Speaker 3: it was after that, Him and his daughter start talking
- 45:09Speaker 3: about something. She says something along the lines of, see
- 45:13Speaker 3: the dad I had? He gets hand-jobbed or something. And
- 45:15Speaker 3: then he goes, you're a bitch. Did you see that part?
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:19Speaker 3: And then it got kind of weirdly real. I feel
- 45:21Speaker 3: the first part.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Well, then the girl was like, oh, my God.
- 45:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes you're a bitch to his daughter. Now that
- 45:28Speaker 1: you say it all. I think this was all fake.
- 45:32Speaker 3: It's totally fake.
- 45:33Speaker 1: To get people to talk about his dumb talk show.
- 45:36Speaker 5: 100%.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Because I'm like, first of all, you are in charge
- 45:39Speaker 1: of it.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 1: So you could have cut it out. Yeah. Even if
- 45:42Speaker 1: you didn't cut this, you know someone's going to cut
- 45:45Speaker 1: that clip. So you wanted it to get out so
- 45:48Speaker 1: that people would be like, I need to go look
- 45:50Speaker 1: at this show because people aren't listening enough or whatever.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Yeah, because everyone's like, really? The guy that's a germaphobe
- 45:57Speaker 1: is going to like.
- 45:57Speaker 3: A That's what I've been seeing a lot of people saying.
- 46:00Speaker 1: A strip mall, and he's been married for 48 years,
- 46:04Speaker 1: and he's saying this in front of his daughter. Right.
- 46:06Speaker 1: But then, yeah, this can go viral, and then you go,
- 46:09Speaker 1: by the way, that was all a joke.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Oh, he'll come out in the next couple of days
- 46:13Speaker 3: and say something like that. Because also, I feel like
- 46:15Speaker 3: the guy's got a legitimate job at NBC. I feel
- 46:19Speaker 3: like that could be in jeopardy if you really were
- 46:21Speaker 3: going out there getting hand jobs for $ 25. You know,
- 46:24Speaker 3: the thing is.
- 46:25Speaker 1: With podcasting is... It really is supposed to be a
- 46:29Speaker 1: flowing conversation. Right. This isn't, you know, a set interview
- 46:32Speaker 1: where a publicist is standing over there and this and that.
- 46:35Speaker 1: And there was this other Secret Lives of Mormon Wife girl, Jessie,
- 46:39Speaker 1: and I saw, oh my God, she's removed her Instagram
- 46:41Speaker 1: since this other person found an old clip of a
- 46:45Speaker 1: podcast she did. Right. Where she was saying she was
- 46:48Speaker 1: got her like vagina worked on. Oh. Or like, you know,
- 46:53Speaker 1: some people have whatever.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Maybe a little outie situation down there and you can
- 46:58Speaker 1: easily get it taken care of. So she's talking about
- 47:01Speaker 1: it with somebody and she goes, and now I look
- 47:04Speaker 1: down there and I'm like, oh my God, I look
- 47:06Speaker 1: like my daughter. Okay. It was like, okay. So not
- 47:09Speaker 1: the great, not the greatest thing to say, but you
- 47:12Speaker 1: know what? You would say that at lunch with to
- 47:14Speaker 1: your girlfriend. You would. And if you really are being
- 47:17Speaker 1: authentic in a reality show or on a podcast and
- 47:21Speaker 1: you're talking to a girl that you're vibing with now, listen,
- 47:26Speaker 1: You know, when I do my podcast, I say, if
- 47:29Speaker 1: you want something cut out, I will cut it out.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm not here to ruin your life. Have you wake
- 47:33Speaker 1: up at three in the morning, stressed about it? Just
- 47:35Speaker 1: tell me. And not often, we almost don't edit anything. Yeah.
- 47:40Speaker 1: And you, I cannot say, I don't think you've ever
- 47:42Speaker 1: said cut something out. Never. Do not give a shit.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Why would I cut anything out?
- 47:46Speaker 1: But I've had a couple of people that are like,
- 47:47Speaker 1: you know what? Actually, that one thing. Yeah. Or, you know,
- 47:51Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 47:52Speaker 3: No problem.
- 47:53Speaker 1: No problem. I don't question it. I don't fight for it.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I'm like, no problem. So she left. She didn't think
- 47:58Speaker 1: about it. I don't know that they made that a clip.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Somebody heard it. And now they're like, let me set
- 48:03Speaker 1: out to ruin Jesse's life.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Of course it's, but like, again, you weren't, you, you
- 48:11Speaker 1: know what I mean? This wasn't 12 steps where you
- 48:13Speaker 1: were like, yes, I want to keep that thing in
- 48:15Speaker 1: with my daughters. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I want
- 48:17Speaker 1: people to visualize my daughter. Like you didn't. And obviously like,
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's the thing that we're in this world where everybody's saying,
- 48:23Speaker 1: be authentic, be authentic, be authentic, be on the fly.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Don't be rehearsed. And it's like, sometimes stuff like that happens. Okay.
- 48:31Speaker 3: You told me.
- 48:32Speaker 1: About this movie. Tell me about this movie that's out.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Okay. I was talking a little bit about it on
- 48:35Speaker 3: my podcast. But anyway, okay.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Cover to cover podcast.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Cover to cover, everybody.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Cover to cover, yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 3: It came out a few weeks ago. It didn't do
- 48:43Speaker 3: very well at the box office. So that is out.
- 48:46Speaker 3: It's in the theaters if you want to go see it.
- 48:48Speaker 3: The one guy, it's Callum Turner, who is married to
- 48:51Speaker 3: Dua Lipa. Okay. Semi-interesting. And this girl is Monica Barbaro.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Good actors. And I think she dates Andrew Garfield. That
- 48:58Speaker 3: has nothing to do with the story. But you see
- 49:00Speaker 3: the trailer for the movie and you see the posters
- 49:02Speaker 3: like you see right now. And it just looks like
- 49:04Speaker 3: a regular romantic comedy. But then I somehow started reading
- 49:08Speaker 3: about what it's about. And it's, which I think is strange,
- 49:12Speaker 3: but also sounds more interesting now. It's like that movie,
- 49:16Speaker 3: The Purge, where they are free to commit any crime
- 49:19Speaker 3: they want to within 24 hours. So this movie, everybody
- 49:23Speaker 3: gets 12 hours to fuck whoever they want without, whether
- 49:28Speaker 3: you're married or together.
- 49:30Speaker 1: But is it consensual?
- 49:31Speaker 3: Consensual, yes.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Okay, that's the consensual?
- 49:33Speaker 5: Yes.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Okay, good.
- 49:33Speaker 3: So I guess everybody has some sort of chip on
- 49:36Speaker 3: them in this movie and they turn it off from
- 49:39Speaker 3: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and everyone gets 12 hours
- 49:43Speaker 3: to fuck whoever they want.
- 49:44Speaker 1: And what happens nine months later? Who knows whose kids
- 49:47Speaker 1: he's on?
- 49:47Speaker 3: Anyway, the interesting part to me was that's never even
- 49:52Speaker 3: mentioned at all in any of the trailers or anything.
- 49:55Speaker 3: I'm like, that's the whole plot.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So you saw it?
- 49:58Speaker 3: I didn't see the movie. I just happened to read
- 50:00Speaker 3: this yesterday, the synopsis of the movie. And I'm like, well,
- 50:03Speaker 3: now it sounds much more interesting. So whoever promoted this
- 50:06Speaker 3: movie was an idiot because... Now I want to see it.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Where can you see it?
- 50:11Speaker 3: It's in theaters.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Oh.
- 50:13Speaker 3: So anyway, I guess it takes place in New York City.
- 50:15Speaker 3: It does look like it's in the future. You know,
- 50:18Speaker 3: it looks like modern day. But they have chips where
- 50:20Speaker 3: they get to fuck anybody they want. Right.
- 50:23Speaker 1: And you always are like, yeah, how did this get started?
- 50:25Speaker 1: I know.
- 50:25Speaker 3: I know.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Because usually in future movies, everyone has to wear the
- 50:29Speaker 1: same thing.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Which I was always like, why in future movies, everyone
- 50:32Speaker 1: wearing like gray.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Gray, like zips up to there. Yeah.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I'm like, what are you saying? Like fashion just goes
- 50:38Speaker 1: away when like the regime from another planet comes into play.
- 50:42Speaker 3: And the other one, when it really gets, when like
- 50:44Speaker 3: a nuclear bomb hits, there's only a few people left.
- 50:46Speaker 3: For some reason, everyone's wearing shoulder pads, like quarterback shoulder pads. What?
- 50:51Speaker 1: How is that protecting you?
- 50:53Speaker 3: Why did that happen to everybody? Um, anyway, it's always
- 50:58Speaker 3: very interesting. So I just thought that was interesting. Also,
- 51:00Speaker 3: the other thing that interests you about it, which I
- 51:02Speaker 3: don't know if you've heard, but she's actually getting legitimate
- 51:04Speaker 3: work now. She's in this movie and a couple of
- 51:06Speaker 3: other like good movies is that girl who used to
- 51:09Speaker 3: date Kanye West. The crazy one who wears wacky outfits.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Oh, Julia Fox, the white girl.
- 51:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 1: She's in what movie?
- 51:18Speaker 3: She's in this movie.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 51:19Speaker 3: And has like a legitimate part and has a few
- 51:22Speaker 3: other movies coming out, like almost like Oscar style.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I have to say, I have enjoyed not being every
- 51:28Speaker 1: third article being about Julia Fox. There was a time
- 51:31Speaker 1: where it was like, oh my God, like TMZ and
- 51:35Speaker 1: Page Six, do you have anybody else to report on?
- 51:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so I just thought that was interesting to talk about.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:41Speaker 3: I know earlier when we were trying to discuss topics,
- 51:43Speaker 3: we had a couple of dark topics.
- 51:44Speaker 1: You know what I just realized? Julia Fox is kind
- 51:46Speaker 1: of like the Sandra Bernhardt of our day.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Like, remember there was, like, a surge of Sandra Bernhardt,
- 51:53Speaker 1: and she was just everywhere, and then she was, like,
- 51:55Speaker 1: Madonna's first, like, lesbian friend.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 1: And then she just, like, kind of disappeared, but then
- 52:00Speaker 1: she still, like, has a tune and will show up
- 52:02Speaker 1: in things.
- 52:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:03Speaker 1: That's what I think Julia... I think we're done. I
- 52:06Speaker 1: think Julia Fox will... legit like work and still be
- 52:10Speaker 1: like a person with an interesting opinion yeah but i
- 52:13Speaker 1: think the amount that she was thrown at us i
- 52:16Speaker 1: don't think we're gonna have to suffer like that again okay.
- 52:18Speaker 3: That's good i'm happy with that yeah um anyway uh
- 52:23Speaker 3: so while we uh we could talk about the dark
- 52:27Speaker 3: topics if you want because i oh you can ask
- 52:29Speaker 3: me i'm interested about the one about the woman who's
- 52:32Speaker 3: been thrown.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Okay, tell me what's your question about it.
- 52:35Speaker 3: Well, I don't know anything about it, as a matter
- 52:36Speaker 3: of fact. I mean, of course, I've heard the names,
- 52:39Speaker 3: and I see little snippets on the internet.
- 52:41Speaker 1: But from your snippets, because you don't know about it,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I just want you to just ask me, because I
- 52:45Speaker 1: have talked about it a lot, and there was an
- 52:48Speaker 1: episode out yesterday, Juicy Crimes, where we really cover all
- 52:51Speaker 1: the conspiracy theories of Of it. So you ask me
- 52:55Speaker 1: and I'll answer.
- 52:55Speaker 3: Here's what I do know.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 52:56Speaker 3: I believe the trial has just begun. That's what I've heard.
- 52:59Speaker 1: It's been a couple weeks.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Okay. And the woman is paralyzed from.
- 53:02Speaker 1: From the waist down.
- 53:03Speaker 3: From the waist down.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Lindsay Clancy.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Lindsay Clancy, who is on trial for killing her children.
- 53:08Speaker 3: Three of them. And then after she killed the children,
- 53:10Speaker 3: this is what I know. So it was just nothing.
- 53:12Speaker 3: And she jumped out the window. That's what they say.
- 53:15Speaker 3: And from that, she's paralyzed from the waist down. Yes. Okay.
- 53:19Speaker 3: And the husband is now where... Is he scot-free?
- 53:23Speaker 1: So this is what's so interesting about it in a nutshell,
- 53:26Speaker 1: which is like why someone like you would be like,
- 53:28Speaker 1: that isn't all up in it and why it's just fascinating.
- 53:34Speaker 1: So we hear about this horrible tragedy that was told
- 53:37Speaker 1: to us through the press and everything that this is
- 53:40Speaker 1: what happened. This woman suffered horribly from postpartum. But the
- 53:45Speaker 1: prosecutor believes that no, she knew what she was doing
- 53:49Speaker 1: and it was premeditated on her part.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:51Speaker 1: She wanted to end her children's life on her own
- 53:54Speaker 1: and she sent him off to do these errands so
- 53:56Speaker 1: that she could be alone with the kids and do this.
- 53:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Okay. So that's what they're saying. Her defense is saying, no,
- 54:04Speaker 1: she is innocent by reason of insanity and she was
- 54:08Speaker 1: on 13 medications and she tried to get help and
- 54:11Speaker 1: she was in and out of places and she was
- 54:13Speaker 1: hearing voices and all of this. And so you jury
- 54:19Speaker 1: were asking you to find her, um, innocent by reason
- 54:22Speaker 1: of sanity, where she will go to, um, a, you know,
- 54:26Speaker 1: a psych ward, which is where she's been for the
- 54:29Speaker 1: last three years and stay there until she gets better,
- 54:33Speaker 1: which could be three years from now in which she
- 54:36Speaker 1: could get out.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 54:37Speaker 1: If she actually stabilizes, gets better and is no longer insane,
- 54:41Speaker 1: she doesn't have to stay there or she stays for
- 54:43Speaker 1: the rest of her life. The other side is saying, no,
- 54:46Speaker 1: she should go to a regular prison because she's not crazy.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 54:50Speaker 1: So then the trial starts.
- 54:51Speaker 3: So, okay. Now let me stop you there.
- 54:54Speaker 5: Yes.
- 54:54Speaker 3: So in any of that, so that seemed the trial
- 54:57Speaker 3: is anybody, any lawyer going, has anybody looked into the husband?
- 55:00Speaker 3: That's all I keep hearing.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Okay. Nobody is. Nobody is. So as we're watching it
- 55:05Speaker 1: on court TV, which actually Drake asked me a question.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to it. I'm sure Juicy
- 55:10Speaker 1: Scooper does. Why are there some trials that we can
- 55:13Speaker 1: watch on court TV every minute, every day?
- 55:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And why do some not, are not allowed?
- 55:18Speaker 3: I believe I could be wrong, but I believe it's
- 55:20Speaker 3: up to the judge.
- 55:21Speaker 1: That's what I thought too.
- 55:22Speaker 3: The judge can allow cameras or not.
- 55:23Speaker 1: So do you have a thirsty judge?
- 55:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:26Speaker 1: That'd like to be famous?
- 55:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Like OJ?
- 55:29Speaker 3: Judge Ito.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Judge Ito was super thirsty. He loved it. And, um,
- 55:34Speaker 1: you know, how they decide, well, this is should, you know,
- 55:36Speaker 1: this is juicy enough or interesting enough or, or no,
- 55:40Speaker 1: we're going to protect because the main witness is a
- 55:42Speaker 1: 10 year old girl or something, you know, like maybe
- 55:44Speaker 1: those are the ones that don't make it. So people
- 55:48Speaker 1: are able to watch this from home and, you know,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and women that have, that are mothers that have been
- 55:54Speaker 1: with a narcissistic husband that have maybe suffered from postpartum
- 55:57Speaker 1: and they really start watching and it's them that who
- 56:01Speaker 1: start making their own content to go wait a minute
- 56:05Speaker 1: with this timeline. Yeah. Why wasn't the husband looked at more?
- 56:09Speaker 1: And I'm not saying like with the Karen Reid case, okay,
- 56:14Speaker 1: there were some legit wonky things that didn't make sense,
- 56:19Speaker 1: hence why she got off.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:21Speaker 1: This is like 10 times that. Okay. This is so
- 56:26Speaker 1: many things. And one is he married Karen.
- 56:31Speaker 3: See, I didn't know that. I learned that just before
- 56:33Speaker 3: we came to air.
- 56:33Speaker 1: So this happened three years ago.
- 56:35Speaker 3: He's now of his new wife.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Okay.
- 56:38Speaker 1: So this happened three years ago and he married his
- 56:41Speaker 1: new wife in April.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Knowing that this trial was coming, you kind of are like, oh, okay.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I wonder why they did it then or why they'd wait.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Some people feel it has to do with if they
- 56:54Speaker 1: were ever put on trial after this. Now, in the very,
- 56:59Speaker 1: very rare cases where in– In doing a trial they
- 57:03Speaker 1: kind of hint that maybe there could be somebody else
- 57:06Speaker 1: that could have done this Yeah, and they and like
- 57:08Speaker 1: they'll sort of be like where we don't know where
- 57:10Speaker 1: the sister was during this time or whatever But then
- 57:13Speaker 1: it would take the prosecutor to then go.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Wow.
- 57:16Speaker 1: We lost this case The person that was in trial
- 57:19Speaker 1: is innocent, but I am gonna look into this other
- 57:22Speaker 1: person Oftentimes, hey, it's a job. It's over with we lost. Goodbye, right,
- 57:26Speaker 1: you know, there wasn't enough there so that could happen
- 57:28Speaker 1: but I mean, if the jury has access to TikTok, okay.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I mean, I just don't see how you could do anything,
- 57:39Speaker 1: but innocent by reason of insanity. She is insane, but
- 57:42Speaker 1: it could also be like, we don't think she did it.
- 57:45Speaker 1: They don't think she did it. They think that this
- 57:49Speaker 1: was now premeditated that, uh, there's now evidence that just
- 57:53Speaker 1: happened in the last 24 hours that, um, A really
- 57:57Speaker 1: great content creator that I don't have on the top
- 58:00Speaker 1: of my head has come up with... And this girl
- 58:02Speaker 1: only has like.
- 58:04Speaker 3: No, no.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Fitted Prof was on my show, but there's another girl
- 58:07Speaker 1: that only has like 13,000 people. And I mean, the stuff.
- 58:09Speaker 3: That she's coming up with... Is premeditated by the husband
- 58:12Speaker 3: or premeditated by the.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Premeditated by the husband. So now they're like, could this
- 58:16Speaker 1: be premeditated?
- 58:17Speaker 5: So.
- 58:18Speaker 1: You know, there's a lot of evidence that he knew
- 58:21Speaker 1: his wife, second wife, while he was with his current wife.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Okay, so yeah.
- 58:26Speaker 1: There's a photo of them back with two other people
- 58:29Speaker 1: at like a dinner out before he ever married Lindsay,
- 58:34Speaker 1: wife number one.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:35Speaker 1: So it's like, was he originally in love with the
- 58:38Speaker 1: current wife, Rachel?
- 58:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Something happened. They couldn't make, they couldn't be in love.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Then he found Lindsay, who looks so much like her.
- 58:46Speaker 1: And he was always sort of pining for Rachel. And
- 58:48Speaker 1: then somehow they meet up again. They did both did
- 58:51Speaker 1: marathons right after she, um, right after the tragedy, he
- 58:55Speaker 1: was in Costa Rica. This content creator found a girl
- 59:00Speaker 1: that was like, I'm in Costa Rica during that time
- 59:04Speaker 1: in that girl's photo was Rachel. And that's the same
- 59:08Speaker 1: week he was also in Costa Rica.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good one.
- 59:11Speaker 1: So like, who plans a trip to Costa Rica? You know,
- 59:15Speaker 1: that's kind of a big deal. And she's a medical doctor.
- 59:17Speaker 1: So it's just a coincidence that three weeks or a
- 59:23Speaker 1: couple months, it's a very short time, after the murders,
- 59:27Speaker 1: he went to Costa Rica and this girl, that he
- 59:30Speaker 1: used to know that, you know, that lives in New York,
- 59:33Speaker 1: which is where he was going to New York all
- 59:35Speaker 1: the time, where he was looking to get an apartment
- 59:38Speaker 1: for a one bedroom apartment in New York before the murders,
- 59:42Speaker 1: took a job in New York before the murders. Like
- 59:45Speaker 1: there's just a lot of that. And then the timeline
- 59:49Speaker 1: of the night, there's a lot of questions. His outfit
- 59:53Speaker 1: changed in between two errands. Did he run home and
- 59:55Speaker 1: do something in between?
- 59:57Speaker 3: Is there security footage of that?
- 59:58Speaker 1: There's security footage. There's times. The temperature of her body
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: shouldn't have been that low with the timeline. Was she
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: out there for several hours? Yeah, there was an Apple Watch.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Did he take the Apple Watch from her? Was he
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: wearing the Apple Watch to look like there was activity
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: when in fact there wasn't? there's a lot of theories
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: of what could have happened if it's not what they
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: are telling us. That it's, she lost her mind, did
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: this horrible thing, and then tried to off herself. And
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: then he came home from doing the errands, found her,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: called the police. So that is what it is. And
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I mean, in talking about it, I've said like, Imagine if,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you know, this isn't at all true. Everything you've said
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: is true as Patrick. You were lucky enough to fall
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: in love with this girl that you met a long
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: time ago. A lot of people meet up with their
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: old high school sweetheart, whatever. Nothing was going on before.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: But yeah, you know, we're in love and we have
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a great and we're going to get through this trial
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: and then we hope that she gets the help she needs.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: He's also suing the medical profession. He also started a
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: nonprofit for his kids where he's receiving all the money.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I mean, so he's made money off of this. He's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: still gotten a job. He also was a sailor. And
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: one thing that people said was, were there sailor knots
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: on these bands that choked the children? And we looked
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: it up and there isn't any proof that they were
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: sailor knots.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Because that was one of the things. Because she's not
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: a sailor, she's a nurse.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: But then the way she cut her wrists in her
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: suicide attempt is not the way you would do it
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to be the most successful. And she's a nurse and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he's not.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: So did he do it the wrong way? And he
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: just comes off... There's facts that he was not an
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: attentive husband. He was going on ski trips. By himself
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: or with the oldest daughter, leaving the two little ones
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: with her.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: How old were the kids?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Five, three, and eight months. She still had to work
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: as a nurse in the beginning of their family while
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: he made $ 400, 000. Why did she have to work? She
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: drove an old Kia. You know, like he was going
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to brunch with his friends. He would like leave her.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: And then she said, I always heard a man. I
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: had heard a man's voice in my head telling me
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to do things. But she only heard those voices at
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: home when she was in her mental hospital before she
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: didn't hear the voices. When she was after the murder,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: she never heard the voices again.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: So he was somehow.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Was he the voice?
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Whispering in her ears.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Was he the voice?
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: So it really plays out like a crazy movie. And
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: other people are like, oh my God, these crazy white
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: women on the internet with their conspiracy theories. But it's
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: not just like one or two things. Yeah. And so
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: then the thought is, does Reddington, which is this older
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: attorney that everyone loves because he's so loving towards her,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: his client, is he... is he knowing that this, is
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: he putting it all out there for the public and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: for the jury to go, listen, we're not saying he
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: did it, but we definitely aren't a hundred percent. She
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: did it. So we will definitely not side with the prosecution.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: And that, that is, I mean, his goal is that she,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: because like I said, in three and also her being
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: in a wheelchair is very, it makes her very sympathetic.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: And a lot of people think it's really weird that
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: all these women and mothers are are like have sympathy
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: for her, but they have sympathy for her, for what
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: she went through. But they, but the bigger story is
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: that they don't even know, think that she did it.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: And that's what the conversations are about, but they're really
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: all only on, I mean, you're not really seeing it though.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I did just see TMZ just posted something. Cause TMZ
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: is now like going, okay, everyone's talking about this. We
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: better talk about it too. TMZ just posted like the
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: two of them, Patrick and his new wife, Rachel. at
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: some restaurant or a balcony or something in New York City.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: And it's like, looks like they had a heated argument,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you know, and it didn't look like they had a heated.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Argument, whatever.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh my God. Oh, and then her father-in-law,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: so her father, Rachel, wife number two's dad, has these connections.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: He's like a billionaire and he has these connections to
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Seagram's And the family that runs Seagram's, he's in business
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: with this person.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: And the two women that were part of Nexium that
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: like gave all their money, these two sister heirs.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Of Seagram's. So that's like weird. Okay. But that's just
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: a weird coincidence.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: But just that she comes from a lot of money
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: and she's a doctor and she's a fertility doctor and
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: all these things. But like, I mean- We don't know
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: where she was that night. I would think that someone
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: would be able to figure out.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Second wife.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Second wife. Was she anywhere near Boston that night or not?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I mean, the conspiracy theories go really, really far and
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: really dark. And then there's ones that are just like,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: he pushed her to do it or he actually did it.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: And threw her out a window or something.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Pushed her out the window and that's why she... Like
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: the way she, yeah, the way she went wouldn't be
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: the way, but I'm like, all these things are like,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: you know, again, you don't know when you're, how many
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: times has this happened in the history of, you know,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and then all women are more likely to end their
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: children's lives this way.
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: You know, and not the way that happened with them.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Like what way?
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Like, I don't know. Like I've heard that too about
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: like women ending their lives that they're, they never, shoot
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: themselves and that's not true. They do, but it's less likely,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: you know, it's like, it's more like, Oh, a drowning
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: or smothering for the kids is more likely than what
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: happened here, which was like strangulation. I mean, you know,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: then you look at the girl that, um, wanted to
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: be with her boyfriend and she put the kids in
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the car and push the car down the lake. Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: That girl. Yeah. She wasn't postpartum. She wasn't anything. She
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: literally ended her kid's life because she wanted to start
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: a new life.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: And I think most people agree that is not what
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: she was trying to do because she was trying to
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: end her life too. So there's a sympathy there. She wasn't,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: she didn't do this to like go become a dancer. She's,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you know, in a wheelchair and you know has nothing
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: she has no home she has no kids she has
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: no husband she's seeing her husband sit on the stand
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: but everyone thought the husband was so great because right
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: off the bat he was like i forgive her yeah
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: i forgive her please show her some grace but i
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: thought he was doing that because he immediately fired a
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: lawsuit against the medical professioners to be like it's your
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: fault that she that she got to this place to
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: do this tragedy so therefore i should benefit from this
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: because I don't have my kids anymore and it's your fault.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And the only way that works is if you forgive
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: your wife because she is innocent. So he, he is
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: on the stand telling a story, but his, um, he
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: stands with, you know, I know, I think she's insane
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and she did it and she doesn't deserve to go
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: to prison. Wow.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: That's fascinating. Now I'm going to follow the story more.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: The Hayden, uh, penitent. That is, um, We're just talking
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: about some sadder things. So she had this boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: The one who was with her when it happened.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: He also, I guess, assaulted her in 2020.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a scumbag. I've heard.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: So she was back with him.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: And apparently his brother found her at their place or
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: her place and he was there. He was sleeping and
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: she was there.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I mean, it just sounds like a really bad situation.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: And then... So she really definitely struggled with drugs and things.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: And then there's a real housewife of Beverly Hills, former
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: person that.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Who had the yacht, right?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: They think that it was her that did the yacht story,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: but then they're like, no, it wasn't her. It was
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: somebody else.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: But this real housewife, former real housewife is.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Very Diana Jenkins.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Diana Jenkins. She is very wealthy and very likely to
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: sue people that say anything negative about her. So it
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: is in the news now. They're photographed a lot together,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: which doesn't mean anything. Um, but she was accused of doing,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you know, stuff like this in the past by crazy
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: days and nights person. And she went after them and
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I think she prevailed in suing them.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Who's Crazy Day of the Night.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: It's like an anonymous website of like made up stories
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: or not made up stories.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: And so.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Isn't there a chapter in her book, but she doesn't
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: mention Diane Jenkins.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: She never says that. names and people are like, why
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: don't you say the name? Because like you could be sued,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you could have to fight for it. So it's like,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: you know, so that, that was in there. Um, I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: want to end on like a funny thing. It's also terrible.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: There is this thing. I don't know if you've noticed it.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: It's really one guy started, I don't know his name,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: but I feel like other people are doing it now.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: And it's just, it's unbelievable. And it's basically people taking movies,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: full blown movies from 25 to maybe 30 years ago
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: is kind of the golden age of these horrific movies
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: that you cannot believe that someone like, like, like racist, inappropriate, uh,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: like assaulting and, uh, but it's like seen as funny,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: but today it would be like complete assault.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: And then like walking through the movie, talking about it,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: showing scenes and making like a tick talk about it.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: And you just cannot believe that these movies were made.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: So this one, Marie Johnson posted it. I don't know
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: if it's her work or if she reposted who put
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: this whole thing together, but it's called Crippen Doff's Tribe,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: and it's with Richard Dreyfuss and Jenna Elfman. Oh, wow.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: What a cast. And this is, yeah, I don't know
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: if I've seen this.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: This is a full-blown movie. Yeah. Okay.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: What year?
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Can you look up what year this was?
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Crippen Doff's Tribe.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, the two guys, you hear the narration
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of the two guys like in a podcast basically talking
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: about it, but then they show scenes of this movie
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: that existed. So Richard Dreyfuss is a widow with two
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: young boys and a teenage daughter. Who's the poker face girl, Leon?
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. The one that stars in poker face.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: It's 98.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: 98.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So yeah, less than 25 years ago. Right? No.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: How many years are we into? Yeah, I said exactly right.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: 25 to 30. Okay. So anyway, she's the teenage daughter.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: And he's a professor. And his wife is dead. And
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: he was supposed to like find this hidden tribe in
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Africa somewhere. But he's been so sad about his wife
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: dying that he, you know, didn't really do the work.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: And everybody at the university and one person is Lily
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Tomlin is in this too. Oh. It's like, you know, well,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: you have to do this big presentation that you discovered
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: this tribe. How are you going to do it? So
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: he puts his two boys together. in blackface and then
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: tribal stuff after and makes a hut in his backyard
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and films it like he really went to Africa and
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: found this tribe.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Now that you mention this, I vaguely remember this movie. Yes.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: So then they're like, oh my God.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: It was like a comedy.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: No, it was a comedy. And Jenna Elfman, who from
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Dharma and Greg and a bunch of other things, she
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: works at the university too, but she is Can you
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: look up Jenna Elfman's age and Richard Dreyfuss' age, okay?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: So she.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: There's a difference.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Okay. I mean, I want to say it's more than
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: 20 years. Oh, it's more than 20 years. So anyway,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: she's like, hey, you know... Jenna Elfman. Yeah.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: 54.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: She's 54.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: And how old is Richard Dreyfuss?
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: He's 84.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: 78. Okay.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: Okay, 20.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: So 25 years.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: Okay, 25 years.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: So, and he's not cute. You know, he's not a babe.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: He's bald and kind of short and fat.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: He used to be. There was a time when he
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: was like a sex symbol in movies.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Never, no. No, he was. Even in Jaws, he was
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: not hot. As a woman.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: There's a movie called The Goodbye Girl where he's literally,
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: him and Marsha Mason are like a sex symbol and
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: both of them are butt uglies.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: No he was okay i'm telling you this guy was
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: like a sex symbol we can differ i never ever
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: as a female saw him i always saw him as
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: what you'd say a character actor.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I know but he was put in films where he
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: was supposed to be a romantic.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Leading no he could be a romantic lead but he
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: wasn't legit hot he wasn't richard no okay so anyway
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: they um so then they're like what else and then
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: like Lily Tomlin's like, I think you're lying and I'm
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: going to find out if you're lying or whatever. And
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: so then they, they need, you know, they need money
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and everything. Cause he's like the struggling professor and this
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: cable company, TV cable company goes, we want to feature
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: like on our show, all the footage that you found
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: from this like hidden tribe in Africa.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: So they're like, Oh my God, this is great. And
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: then the guy goes, what we really need is do
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you have footage of any of them? lovemaking. What is it? Like, lovemaking.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: And Richard Dreyfuss is like, uh, yeah. He invites Jenna
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Elfman over. Blows her with alcohol.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Puts hidden cameras in the living room.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: And does the kids?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: No. Makes her get in blackface and wear, like, African garb.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: And she starts dancing and everything. And he's like, all right.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And he presses record. And they, like, start making out
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: and he's dressed like an African person too. And then
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: they wake up the next morning and she's like, has
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: a headache and is hung over. And she's walking through
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a electric store, like electronic store. And there's all the
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: TVs there and the channel on there is the anthropology
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: cable channel. And they're like, we have footage of the
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: way this tribe makes love. And she sees herself dancing
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: around in the African garb, making out with Richard Dreyfuss.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: And she's like, what?
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Everything about this sounds so 90s. The fact that there's
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: even an appliance store, Richard Dreyfuss, Lily Tomlin. I mean,
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: that's wild.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: So it's an insane thing. It all works out in
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: the end, okay? I don't remember. It all works out
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: in the end. The next one that they're doing is
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Soul Man. Surprise.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: I've probably seen Soul Man 10 times.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Because- I saw Soul Man in the movie theater. Yeah, C.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Thomas Howell. Are you gross?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: It is the most- Shocking. Shocking. Drake, I need to
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: tell you what Soul Man's about. C. Thomas Howell can't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: get into law school. I mean, this is so offensive
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: because he's a white guy.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: And so he's like, well- They're taking more people of
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: color into these spots.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: So I am going to take, I think he put
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: makeup on, but I also think he was taking like
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: pills to make himself darker or something.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: And changes his hair, hair and everything. So he looks
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: like a black guy. Yeah.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: And he went full on like, give me five. Yeah.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: It's soul man. And he's like control around like Michael
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Jackson and everything. And then he gets to the law
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: school and he has to pretend like he's black the
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: entire time. And then of course he meets like.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: This beautiful- Rae Dawn Chong, played by Rae Dawn Chong.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: The girl?
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: And she's like stunning and everything and like, you know,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: super smart and cool. And then he does kind of realize,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: finally by the end, I think he realizes like, Maybe
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: this was kind of fucked. Oh no. He realizes that
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: he took the spot from her.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: That was it. It's that he took the law school
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: spot from her. Yeah. They only had a spot for
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: one black person and they chose. I mean, it's so.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: It was in the theaters. Big hit.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Big hit.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Summer hit. Everybody went. Laughed wild.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I think when we go back to like old movies
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: of like the black and white old movies or like
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: 50s or 60s. They're not as offensive as this era
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: of movies.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: I'm going to give you two to watch. They're absolutely shocking.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: There's a movie called Blame It on Rio, Demi Moore.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Remember it.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: I believe it's Michael Caine and an actor named Joseph Bologna.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: How I remember it?
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: They're like 60.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: And the girl... the two daughters go like with their
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: dads and they fuck each other's dad. Right.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: And again, there's about a 40 year age difference between
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: the two of them.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And again, it's one of those movies that I've
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: talked about that obviously older males wrote it and you're
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: watching it and you're like, I guess if I was
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: in real, maybe I would screw Michael Caine. Like it
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: gets in your head. It's how media like changes your
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: mind where you're like, why would I be screwing my
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: friend's dad?
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Well, Michael Caine was English. He had English.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You know, there's a more recent movie that's the switcheroo
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: of that where it's two women and I've not seen it.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Two women go on vacation with their like 21-year-old sons.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: And they each fuck each other's son.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Oh, what's that one called?
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Look that up, Drake.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: I think I saw that on Pornhub.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: No, it's, it's like a real thing. They go on
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: a European trip.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: And they both like kind of, and I can't remember,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: like I, I don't, I didn't watch it, but I
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: think it, I think it was just too weird and
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: close to home. Like I can't imagine.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: There's also a movie called The Toy with Richard Pryor
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: and Jackie Gleason.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Wait, hold on. Adore?
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Adore?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: What does it say?
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: It says 2013 best friends. Yeah, with their teenage sons.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, 2013.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: I think it was a French movie.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: It's okay if it's in France.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. But The Toy is another one where Jackie
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: Gleason and Richard Pryor, and his rich kid who wants
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: a black person as a toy, and they buy Richard Pryor.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: This is a real movie. Once again, a big.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: Time summer hit. Right, but to like, it wasn't just like,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I have a weird kid and he has no friends.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I'm going to buy a friend for him. It was like, no,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you need to act like a toy. Yeah.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: They take him to a toy store and he goes, no,
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: I don't want any toys. I want that. And they go, what,
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: the black guy? He's like, yes. And then they buy him.
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: This is... Richard Pryor. It's great. It's kind of a fun.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Has Richard Pryor before he passed ever talked about how like,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I thought it was an awful thing, but it's a
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: huge paycheck. And I'm just like, whatever.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: I don't, I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I always wondered, did they realize, did they realize at
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the time, this is a different time.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I mean, we always talk about how like in, you know, um,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: 16 candles, there's like a, like the girl is so
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: drunk and the guy goes here, you can drive her home.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: and do whatever you want with her. And the little
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: dorky Anthony Michael Hall looks to the camera and is like,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: all right. And then the next day she's like, did we?
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And he goes, we did. And she's like, it's fine.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It's fine that we did. And I was completely passed out.
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: Every time the Asian guy comes on screen, they bang
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: a gong. That isn't real. That's not a joke. The
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: gong bangs every time he comes on screen. It's wild.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: I mean, just different times.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: I mean, it is wild. But I mean, I'm like, listen,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: like- We did not write the movies, okay? The generation
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: above Gen X wrote the movies. We saw the movies.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: We now are raising Gen Z and Alpha kids, and
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: we understand that they were wrong and gross. We, as
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Gen X, needs to be taken out of this equation.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: We did nothing wrong.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: We just enjoyed them.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: We did nothing wrong. In this ratio, we did nothing wrong.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: I remember going to see Soul Man, and I saw
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: it in a black theater. There was a black theater
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: on Long Island, and I went to see it in
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: a black theater, and they were loving it. We were
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: all loving it. I mean, we were one together in
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: loving that movie. I remember it vividly like it was yesterday.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I mean, people say white chicks is wrong because they're.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that one's had some issues.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: But it really doesn't, though, because the people that- The
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: white white chicks love it. Like they don't find it
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: offensive at all. You can say we're frivolous and believe it.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: We don't care.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Like that's a stereotype of like, like, you know, they
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: just took the dressing like women one step further. You know,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the genre of that.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: When I was in high school, we did a production
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: of a play called You Can't Take It With You.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: And in this play, there was two black characters and
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: we didn't have many black people in the school, certainly
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: none who were in the theater program. So the theater
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: teacher asked me, we had a guy, Charlie Burroughs, who
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: was the one black guy in the school. Nice guy,
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: football player, athlete, not an actor. And they said, can
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: you go ask him if he'll be in the play?
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: Because we need a black guy. So I had to
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: go and ask Charlie Burroughs, who was a friend of mine, like,
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: would you be interested in being in the play? And
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: he's like, why? And I'm like, because you're a black
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: guy and the character's black. And he's like, no, I
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: don't want to do that. And I was like, oh,
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: forget it. And I think they put people in blackface.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: But it's once again, different times. different times.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, it's just unbelievable. It's just, it's
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: really unbelievable. Like in a matter and that like people like,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you know, all that, but that's when you're like, yeah,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: men were running the studios. They were the people green
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: lighting things. They didn't think it was wrong. If a girl,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: if you can get a girl drunk and she passes out,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: It's all fair game. You know, like that was just
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: an attitude.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: That was the plot of every movie in the 80s,
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: more or less. I mean, Porky's, the entire movie is
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: based on them looking at girls in the shower. I mean,
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: the whole movie is kind of like that.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Right, right. While they're taking a shower.
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: While they're taking a shower. And it's high school.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Yeah. which i recently brought up do people still have
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: to like shower while they're at high.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: School i was on the episode yeah like a lot
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: of people said yes yes.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: A lot of people said yes i know i just
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: don't understand how there's time to get completely undressed shower
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: get completely like do your lotion do your deodorant get
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: completely redressed.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: I think it was a close your locker i don't
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: know how you grab your.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Books and get to the next class i couldn't do
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: it yeah how is there enough time for that i'll
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: never understand Chris, I know you are getting ready to
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: bring comedy to the people. I am.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: Next week, as a matter of fact.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Do tell.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Heading over to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa, beautiful town. Going
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: to the Bricktown Comedy Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 27th of August,
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: 28th of August, 29th of August. I took it late.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: But I think that sounds really cute. Like even the
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: name of the comedy club is cute.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: Brick House? Oh, it's Brick Town.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Brick Town.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: It's actually one of, it's a great club. I had a,
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: I was there a couple of years ago and it
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: was an interesting show. I mean, there were some people
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: that came to like the second show on a Saturday
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: who were, you know, I don't know. Sometimes you go
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: to a city and the people are, you know, they've
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: had some issues.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: So there's a lot of that. Anyway, I'm excited to
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: go back.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: So juicy scoopers there.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Tulsa, Oklahoma. And a lot of people have been sending
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: me things. They're like, you didn't see the proper Tulsa.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Because Tulsa is a cool town.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: So, like, here's some stuff. So, I like when people
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: do that.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Love that. Like, this is where you need to go. So,
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: thank you. Okay. The next thing, October 4th through the 10th,
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: I'm at the Brad Garrett Comedy Club in Las Vegas.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: The entire week, Brad Garrett. Then I come to Gainesville, Florida.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: I've never been to Gainesville, Florida. This is one of
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: those clubs that's given me a hard time about tickets. So, please,
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: it's called the Signal Lounge in Gainesville, Florida. October 16th,
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: they're all on my website, frangola.fun. And October 17th, I'm
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: in Tampa. which is almost sold out. If you want
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: to see me in Tampa, it's at Side Splitters in Tampa.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: I love this club. Six o'clock show on a Saturday.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: It's the greatest. So go get those tickets.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: It's the greatest.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: Frangella.fun. Six o'clock on Saturday. You're done. Show's over. You're
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: back in your hotel.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You're in your bed by 9 p.m. Well, I have
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: two shows at Cobb's, October 2nd and 3rd. Four shows.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Two shows a night. So you have a choice.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Friday and Saturday?
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday. And then the following Friday and Saturday,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: which would be the, what would that be? 9th and
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: 10th of October. I will be at the Desert Ridge
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: Improv in Phoenix. And you told me it's gorgeous. It's
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: like a New York artist club.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Both of those clubs are two of my favorites.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: And it's a little more intimate than the other clubs.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: So we will definitely get into it and you'll get
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to get close to me. And all those tickets are
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: available at heathermcdonald.net. And so come see us because that's
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the whole reason we're going. We're so successful in the
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: podcast game. We are doing it for the art.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: Kind of.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: We're doing it for the art and to meet the people.
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: I don't really know why you're still doing it. But
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: I kind of have to a little bit, but you
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: don't have to. What the hell are you doing?
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I'm doing it because I really had so much fun
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: when I was in Salt Lake City. And I do
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: love the art of stand-up. It's different than podcasting, live audience. Um,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: being a little more free flowing, telling fresh stories, uh,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: all of it. And so I like, and you can
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: really talk shit.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: You can really, um, you know, because it's, it's there
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: and it's gone. It's not, it's not the podcast. It's
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: not Patreon. It's not a video. It's like the only
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: place that you can like really let loose is, is
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: the comedy club.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: And now with all people watching clips and everybody is
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: into stand-up because they watch it on TikTok or they
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: watch it on Instagram, on their phone, I could tell
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: all of you that whatever you laugh at on the phone,
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: whether it be TikTok or Instagram, you are going to
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: laugh a hundred times more live in the club.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: It's so much better than TikTok and Instagram.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: And laughing is an ab workout.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Everything about it. There's no downside.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: There's no downside. And there's drinks, but you don't have
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: to drink. No. You don't have to drink.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Yeah, they have Diet Coke.

- 1:26:58Speaker 1: still be chuckling away.

- 1:27:01Speaker 1: All right. Everybody.

- 1:27:05Speaker 3: Everybody loves it. So come on over and listen to
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: Cover to Cover Tuesdays and Thursdays, Patreon, all that stuff.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: We do it all. Comedy to the people.
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: How much more do you think you have in you? Honestly,
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: like- A lot.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: I just was- I mean, you could tell me when
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: we get off air with it. I don't know what
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: this fake energy is you're doing right now, but when
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: we get off air- I just.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Told Drake this morning, I said, I think I'm kind
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: of killing it right now.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: You are.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like very, like, I don't know. I
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: see my videos back in the show and I'm like,
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: or I listened back to it and I'm like, I
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: love what this woman's saying. Yeah.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: I'm, listen, I'm the, I agree with you.

- 1:27:57Speaker 3: No, you're certainly not lazy.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: There are days where I'm like, oh my God, you know? Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: But I think that's more where I'm, listen, one of
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: the reasons I'm, I can talk so long and so,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: and I know about so many things is because in my,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: when I'm not actually recording, I am like you, like
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: looking at, the phone too much but the phone is
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: really the news and stuff like that and sometimes in
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: doing that i i get like oh i gotta put
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: this away.
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: Yeah me too i'm sick of seeing.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: How many people also have podcasts like that's sort of
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: what makes me go ugh but then i'm like but
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: the juicy scoopers aren't on their phone 14 hours a
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: day no so a lot of stuff's new to them.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: They need this.
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: Believe me, they didn't know what that movie was about.

- 1:29:06Speaker 3: if I want to do it. I feel like I've
