- 0:01Speaker 2: We made it back from the weekend the Mac and
- 0:03Cheese fast DL heally was in town and there's a
- 0:05lot going on in Beggersville. We talked a little bit
- 0:08about vaca, because you guys are heading on those vacations.
- 0:10We talked about vacation bedtimes, We talked about getting in
- 0:14an argument on vacation, and then you have.
- 0:17Speaker 1: To see what else we did. Let's get going, but
- 0:19first let's find out.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Have you ever been left somewhere They left you behind
- 0:22for some reason.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You know, I think we've had this conversation.
- 0:27Speaker 2: But with Uber, with Uber and Lyft nowadays, nobody you
- 0:31never get left right. You can always just you know,
- 0:34call somebody to come get you. It's that simple. Before taxis,
- 0:37and you know, you had to get a taxi. You know,
- 0:40we grew up, me and my friends, we all grew
- 0:42up going places together. But hey, if it was if
- 0:46something happened, like if you went if you got a
- 0:48ride with somebody, let's say, to the bar, to the club,
- 0:52to wherever you were going, and the driver was able
- 0:55to hook up with a chick, hey we had to
- 0:57find a ride home. It was and that was just,
- 1:02you know, a known rule. We just would get it.
- 1:05We'd figure it out, right, all right in we'll see
- 1:08you tomorrow, go hook up, have fun, We'll figure it.
- 1:10We'll figure it out. And like I said, nowadays, with
- 1:14uber and left, I think everybody has a ride.
- 1:16Speaker 1: But have you ever been left somewhere?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Say four two five, four, seven to seven? It was
- 1:20funny on Friday. So Friday, I went out to play
- 1:23some golf with a couple of buddies of mine, and
- 1:25I had one of my buddies pick me up, so
- 1:28because I was gonna drink.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So after golf, you know, my buddy's like, ah, no,
- 1:33I got to go meet my wife. I gotta go.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So I just threw my golf clubs in the back
- 1:37of the truck and he's like, hey, you want me
- 1:39to take you. I'm like, no, man, just take my
- 1:40golf clubs. I'll figure it out. So I luckily the
- 1:44golf club is right next to a bar that I love,
- 1:47a restaurant bar that I love. So I just walked,
- 1:49you know, across the golf course to the bar. Now
- 1:51I'm there, you know, working my way home. But I
- 1:55wasn't worried about being left because I ended up getting
- 1:58home without Uber and by the way, because I actually
- 2:02don't have an Uber lifting app on my phone. So
- 2:05but yeah, you know, it was no big deal for me.
- 2:08It's no big deal getting left anywhere you find a
- 2:11way home, it's always there's always an easy way to.
- 2:14You can always find your way home, right already? Four
- 2:16two five, four seven to seven. But have you ever
- 2:20been left somewhere before? Maybe out of town? Maybe Mexico?
- 2:25Because uh, you see those people got left. There was
- 2:27a story about some people that got left off a
- 2:29cruise ship. And I'm just curious, have you ever been
- 2:33left somewhere?
- 2:35Speaker 1: A four two five, four, seven and seven? One house?
- 2:37Speaker 3: Going on?
- 2:38Speaker 4: And what?
- 2:39Speaker 3: I man, hey, maybe it's a great story. How I
- 2:41got I got?
- 2:42Speaker 5: I got left behind?
- 2:43Speaker 1: What happened?
- 2:45Speaker 4: I remember that one club back in the day.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That Shanner Tanner, Yeah, t Shanner remember that one.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 6: So so maybe my bullets went over there and all
- 2:54of a sudden, Dad floor.
- 2:56Speaker 3: And Koba guy who at the bar, and they came.
- 3:00I helped the bosper. My guys was fighting with.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Some other guy. Okay, so there I go and I
- 3:07see one of my friends on the ground and I
- 3:11end up up holding one back that the other guy
- 3:14that was hidding my friends. So next thing, you know, uh,
- 3:18they all got up. I kicked there and then the
- 3:20the other guys were telling me, hey man, thank you
- 3:24for killing my friends. I'm like, what shilling your friends?
- 3:28But anyway, my guys left the left, so I got left.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I was off fight trying to figure out where they went.
- 3:36Speaker 6: You well, they took out next you know what, the
- 3:39purpose holds up on the site and like like, hey
- 3:42you come in here.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Man, Hey, I want to thank you for for begging
- 3:45of my friend up.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Well, he was the bad guy and he was the
- 3:48other guy.
- 3:52Speaker 3: So now we punch in the part. They were like,
- 3:54hey man here if we we got beer, here, may
- 3:56get a beer.
- 3:56Speaker 7: Man.
- 3:57Speaker 3: You know, they thanks changed up for backing it up.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I'm like backing you. I'm the young guys.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I mean, I didn't tell that that. They find out
- 4:06it was me, you know with the boat guys.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You know, so I thought hey man, and my.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Phone was ringing. They're like they're like, they're like, where
- 4:13you went? Where you at? I'm like I can't get
- 4:15I'm in I'm in it burn the phone, I worried.
- 4:20Man on the bal creaker. I need, I know, I
- 4:22need to get a.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Look queks that? All right? Man?

- 4:32I'm over here fring me up. But where your fan?
- 4:34And I'm like, you don't even want.
- 4:35Speaker 1: To know what we got you?
- 4:38Speaker 3: But yeah, becoming gun. The guys don't have plana, but
- 4:41we're gare like eight other guys Like what the hell
- 4:44you know? What I mean?
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's larious, dude thanking me.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I'm like, you didn't even do you got to even know? Man?
- 4:50Speaker 1: All right, man, thanks for college. Later guy said, man,
- 4:54you've ever been left somewhere before?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Already? Four two five, four seven to seven. It's alright,
- 4:59A four two five seven to seven?
- 5:02Speaker 1: You ever been left? You ever been left before? All right?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, I think I might have told you this before,
- 5:08but under a different topic. But one time my man
- 5:12and I we went to Disneyland and he proposed to
- 5:15me in Disneyland.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I told him no, so he just left me there.
- 5:22Speaker 2: He was so upset he just got up, walked away
- 5:25and drove back to Bakersfield. I had to call my
- 5:28parents to come pick me up. Which they did. Uh yeah,
- 5:37I could see how a guy would get pissed and
- 5:39leave you there already four two five fours seven to seven.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm sure there's a lot of people that have gotten
- 5:46left before I was.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was driving down somewhere by that baseball fields over
- 5:54there by Stockdale Highway, whatever that road next to it
- 5:57is that connects to Stockdale Highway, and I saw this
- 6:02couple fighting. The guy pulls over, they're they're pulled over.
- 6:07He gets up, slams the door, grabs his coat out
- 6:10of the back, and just starts walking. And you know,
- 6:16you would think she would stay, his girl would stay,
- 6:19try to get him back in the car.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Nope, she just drove off. And I went to do something.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Down the street, and maybe I was going to target
- 6:28to grab something whatever I was doing over there. So
- 6:30when I came back, I came back that way, dude
- 6:33was still walking.
- 6:34Speaker 1: She left him.
- 6:36Speaker 2: So whatever happened, he got mad, got out the car.
- 6:39She left him all right already four two boors seven seventh.
- 6:43Like I said, you ever been left, ever been left behind?
- 6:46Where'd you get left?
- 6:47Speaker 8: At?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 6:48Speaker 8: How?
- 6:48Speaker 1: What's going on.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Here?
- 6:51Speaker 7: What up?
- 6:51Speaker 8: Rob?
- 6:53Speaker 4: What shup? Brother?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Okay?
- 6:54Speaker 5: I got one for you back when I was like seventeen.
- 6:58Speaker 9: Me my boy, he said, a store.
- 7:00Speaker 3: But we didn't have no money from the beer we have,
- 7:02you know, left our walls. Supposed we were.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Coming and he was seeing his hit.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, a nice little truck.
- 7:08Speaker 5: So we had a bright idea.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I should have gone all the way back.
- 7:10Speaker 5: We were gonna go outside to get the beer. Run
- 7:12back he and jump in the back and take off.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:15Speaker 10: The funny thing is we're grabbing the beer and I
- 7:17go out the other door.
- 7:18Speaker 5: He goes on one door.
- 7:19Speaker 11: He jumps in the back and homegirl kicks off and
- 7:22leaves me there.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Oh that's awesome, that's all.
- 7:31Speaker 12: Yeah, you see me running down Panama and South date
- 7:36back to the hood.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Oh that's great. Thanks already for two by four, seven
- 7:44to seven. You ever been left room. I'm gonna try
- 7:48and make this long story short.
- 7:49Speaker 2: When he forty came out, When he forty came out
- 7:52with his drink Slurricane, he came to Beaker Spiel. So
- 7:56my cousin came with tickets and like three bottles of drink.
- 8:00He says, all right, we're ready to go. I was like, no,
- 8:03I'm drunk. I can't go. They convinced me to get
- 8:07in the Uber. We get to the Fox Theater, I'm
- 8:10passed out, so they pay him extra to take me
- 8:14back home and pick up my other cousin. So on
- 8:18the way to pick up my cousin, I came too,
- 8:21and I tell the guy I need to throw up.
- 8:23He pulls over, hands me a water, and when I
- 8:27lift my head, he's driving off. I was stuck on
- 8:32the east side. I had to call my roommate to
- 8:34come pick me up. A few weeks later and we
- 8:38go out again and the same uber driver picks us up.
- 8:41He was like, dude, I wondered what happened. I told
- 8:44him I had to throw up, so he was gonna
- 8:47pick up my cousin, come back.
- 8:49Speaker 1: For me, then take me home. I was drunk. I
- 8:52didn't hear him say it. Hey man, that's funny already four.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Two seven to seven. I would have left her too.
- 9:04I would have left her there too. Oh this is
- 9:06the guy. The girl who called up or texted and
- 9:09said that she was proposed to at Disneyland and she
- 9:11said no, and the guy left her there. Yeah, all right, hey,
- 9:16four two pop fours seven to seven. You've ever been
- 9:18left behind already four two pop four seven to seven.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I roam this story.
- 9:24Speaker 2: It's not really about being left, but more forgotten about.
- 9:29My dad was supposed to drop me off at school
- 9:31because of rain, and he pulled up to work. We
- 9:33lived in McFarlane and my dad worked in Bakersfield. To
- 9:36be fair, I really think that was the first and
- 9:39only time my dad was ever taking me to school.
- 9:43He ended up telling his job I was sick and
- 9:46couldn't leave Luke, couldn't leave me home alone. I was
- 9:49like ten. They let him go home and he still
- 9:53took me to school late. Not fair at all. Okay,
- 9:59there's nothing worse than parents forgetting about you. Yeah, hey, room,
- 10:05years ago, I was I'm talking. Let's see, we're talking
- 10:08ninety eight ninety nine, Me and a few of my
- 10:10buddies went to TJ. We're at the bar slash strip club.
- 10:14I was having a great time. Next thing, you know,
- 10:15I look back and I couldn't see my friends anywhere.
- 10:18Speaker 1: They left me behind.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Couldn't even find myself, couldn't even find myself back.
- 10:23Speaker 1: To the border. That's how drunk I was.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I saw a group of American kids walking, so I
- 10:28just followed them. I figured they're going to the border,
- 10:31and they were all my butt and they were all
- 10:35my buddies. Where all all my buddies were back at
- 10:37the hotel. They left me behind a bunch of.
- 10:42Speaker 1: At least you found a.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Group of guys you could follow, all right? They fourteen five, four,
- 10:46seven to seven?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Are you that what's going on? I've got left before
- 10:50what happened?
- 10:51Speaker 11: I was with my mother and father in law, and
- 10:53they told me to go inside and pump the gas.
- 10:55And I went inside and I paid for the gas
- 10:57and I pumped it, and I was like, hey, hold on,
- 10:58I gotta go back for the TA went back in
- 11:01for the.
- 11:01Speaker 12: Change and left me.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Why did they live?
- 11:05Speaker 11: You didn't even have my phone or nothing? Now how
- 11:08to use the store phone to call them? They were
- 11:11already like three. I set away on the freeway.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Maybe they were trying to get rid of you.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You never know getting left, man, Hey roam. My parents
- 11:22left my little brother at the gas station. He was
- 11:24like twelve at the time. They didn't realize he got
- 11:27off to go inside, so they left him. By the
- 11:30time they realized he wasn't in the car and drove back,
- 11:35he was in some random family's car.
- 11:37Speaker 1: He had found a ride home. Oh wow, are you
- 11:42sure they were taking him home and not taking him
- 11:44back to their place.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I mean, that's crazy already fourteen five, four, seven to seven.
- 11:50It's Romeo doing it live from the Just Wingtt Studios.

- 11:55happy empeops.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Okay, once a Saturday.

- 12:07ever came back? Okay, I said out the window, stil
- 12:11and wait for him.

- 12:15your buy it outside they play.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, there you go. Sounds like a great story.
- 12:25So you never got left anywhere. You just wanted to
- 12:29tell everybody that your dad didn't want you. I mean,
- 12:33that's what you're going with, Raider Dave. Just destroy the
- 12:37whole concept of having a conversation about getting left somewhere
- 12:44in a in a in a Julio, in a julial way,

- 18:27kids camp, so you know, we allow twelve and under.
- 18:30No adults are allowed in that area. We do have
- 18:33a picke event so that the parents can watch them.
- 18:36It is in a babysitting area, just to let everybody
- 18:39know that don't chuck the kids up and then go
- 18:41out there and hang out. But yeah, we have arts
- 18:44and craft of painting, lots of lots of games. Uh,
- 18:49and then there's gonna be some prizes and some bikes
- 18:51and raffles and all that stuff for the kids to
- 18:54give them away. So we have bikes fun area. We
- 18:56have some bikes. And I think you.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Always do it so good. You put on one of
- 19:01the best events in Bakersfield.

- 19:11of them too, because we couldn't do it without. It
- 19:13takes a village.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I remember the first event thirty years ago in Delano.
- 19:19Speaker 8: Oh yeah, you're talking about our friendship now last thirty years.
- 19:23Don't age both of us. Okay, Yeah, I did take
- 19:27you down to Delana the harvest holidays.
- 19:29Speaker 2: But yeah, all right, so you got some sponsors here,
- 19:32I see you want to shout out to.
- 19:34Speaker 8: Our presenting sponsor. We have Jim berk Ford and avansa
- 19:37Otto's and michaelob Ultra California Resources and hard Rock Casino Tajone.
- 19:42So we brought them on this year. And we're happy
- 19:45to have hard Rock there and all of our presenting

- 20:01Speaker 8: They can bring their lawn chairs and handheld umbrellas, No
- 20:05pop up tents, and.
- 20:07Speaker 1: What about the big Tommy bahamas.
- 20:09Speaker 8: No no timing bahama, no patio umbrellas. It's just because
- 20:14you're going to block everyone. Oh yes, and the tents
- 20:17as well, and I understand that. And we're going to
- 20:20have you know, some like patio seating out there, stuff
- 20:24like that, and and benches for folks to sit on.
- 20:27But it's the first come, first serve. You can bring
- 20:29a blanket out there too if you want and hang
- 20:32out on on on that with the family. But and
- 20:35then we don't allow drinks to be brought in and
- 20:38drinks on there. The good thing is also Romeo. I
- 20:41think while I've been here and I've talked about our
- 20:43small Business Academy before, and I also talked about our

- 22:07happened in Sunday, May twenty four. It's the twenty sixth
- 22:10Annual Latin Food Festival Anudo for Sole Cookoff.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Throw me what did you what did you send me here?
- 22:17Speaker 4: Hey?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Rom I have a question. I have a question not
- 22:21on your topic. So if I go to work first
- 22:24thing in the morning and clock in and they have
- 22:27me go into the office and start scolding me and
- 22:32yelling at me, is that verbal abuse?
- 22:37Speaker 4: Well?
- 22:37Speaker 1: What did you do? Why are they? I mean, I
- 22:39don't know. I grew up with the dad who made
- 22:43me hold the light. I don't know what verbal abuse is.
- 22:47Speaker 2: So scolding and verbal abuse isn't. I'm gonna go, I
- 22:51guess in this modern, you know, week society we live
- 22:56in today, yes, I'm gonna say yes.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I'm going to guess that. I don't know what.
- 23:03Speaker 7: I guess.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It kind of depends on what what you did. Why
- 23:07were they scolding you, why were they yelling at you?
- 23:10Speaker 1: And I mean who was doing the who was doing
- 23:16the yelling.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think anybody should yell at anybody
- 23:19in the workplace.
- 23:20Speaker 1: So but I'm gonna I'm gonna have to go with yes.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, depending on where you work, who you work for.
- 23:27I mean, there's a lot of things that can there's
- 23:29a lot of factors involved. When you asked me that question.
- 23:31It's not just that simple. But I guess, for the.
- 23:37Speaker 1: For the question that you asked me, I guess I
- 23:39have to say yes. That is all right, ALRIGHTY four
- 23:44two fo four or seven to seven. It's somebody sent
- 23:47me a text message. Guy said he clocked in for work.
- 23:49What he exactly said, He said he clocked.
- 23:51Speaker 2: In for work and took him straight to the office,
- 23:56started scolding him and yelling at him. Is that verbal abuse?
- 24:00I believe it is. I mean, I don't can you
- 24:02yell at people at work anymore. I don't know if you.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Can and actually get away with it. I mean, I
- 24:08don't know. I'm trying to think.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Ever had somebody yell at your work? You've heard your
- 24:13boss yell at you. I'm sure you have in some capacity.
- 24:16What'd you do about it? I'm gonna say it's purble
- 24:20abuse already. Four two five, four seven to seven yo. Rome.
- 24:26I work out here on the rigs. About fifteen years ago,
- 24:30a boss came out. He was a new boss that
- 24:32we just got. He didn't know how to talk to
- 24:36us guys out here on the rig. He made a
- 24:38comment and started yelling at one of the guys. The
- 24:41guy just socked him square in the face, and he
- 24:44ended up losing his job over it.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I mean, I yeah, you have a boss.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I think I've been yelled at here at the studio before,
- 24:53you know, twenty years ago. I mean, but man, sometimes
- 24:57when you need your job and you know you need honey,
- 25:00you kind of accept the abuse.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I guess. I guess now you don't have to, though,
- 25:04so that's probably good.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Uh Hey, good morning, Rome, Hey gil Rod?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Here?
- 25:12Speaker 1: What is hold? What? What is holding?
- 25:15Speaker 4: The light?
- 25:15Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever heard of that one holding.
- 25:19I don't know what that means. Did I say that?
- 25:22All right? All right? Y? Fourteen five four or seven?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Seven? Yeah?
- 25:26Speaker 1: I don't know. If you've ever been yelled at work,
- 25:27I'm sure you haven't. What'd you do about it?
- 25:29Speaker 2: I mean, if a boss comes at you crazy, and
- 25:32if you uh, you know, I don't know.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I guess a lot of people.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I guess most people probably just accept it because you
- 25:37don't want to lose your job.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Or can they I don't know.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I really don't know, to be honest with you at
- 25:44this point. Yeah, so it's probably verbal abuse. The bosses
- 25:49probably can't yell at you anymore. They probably never should
- 25:52have been the first place. But I guess if you
- 25:54got a sock one, you got a sock one.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Holding the light?
- 25:57Speaker 2: That's what you gil Rod, that's what you were talking about. Yes,
- 26:00I did say holding the light, Romeo, holding the light
- 26:03when your dad yells at you for not holding it?
- 26:05Speaker 4: Right?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yes, I did mention that.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Oh, now I understand what he's he never you never
- 26:10heard holding the light before?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, I get it.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Now, Hey, good morning, Romeo. It's right to rob here
- 26:17I'm the opposite. I catch myself yelling at my bosses.
- 26:21It still don't get me anywhere.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I didn't know you could still yell at people in
- 26:26the workplace. I didn't know that was I didn't know
- 26:30that was possible.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I thought people in the workplace nowadays were I thought
- 26:35everybody was so dang sensitive. If you yelled at him,
- 26:37you got in trouble or vice versa. Who knows already?
- 26:40Pour te popover seven to seven. Oh, we got George
- 26:44Lopez with us this morning. He is a legend in comedy,
- 26:47in television and movies. He's gonna be at the Fox
- 26:50Theater Saturday, May sixteenth.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Good morning, George, Good morning.
- 26:55Speaker 7: You know it's always when I see people Monday, always
- 26:58go hey George Lopez, never just just George.
- 27:02Speaker 4: I think from the show. I think the first show.
- 27:04Speaker 7: Hey, Hey, get out of the way.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You know, well, it's funny.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I know you you won't remember because you've met thousands
- 27:13of millions of people. We met in Sacramento a long
- 27:16time ago when I first got into radio on ks FM.
- 27:19And it's been a long time and your career is
- 27:23just it's incredible.
- 27:25Speaker 4: How much do you think about it?
- 27:27Speaker 7: I mean, you know, even at the beginning, man, like
- 27:30you know, there was no kind of template for uh, you.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Know, for us. You know, so as you kept going.
- 27:37Speaker 7: You would be like, oh, you could do that, Like
- 27:39I didn't ever think about having one show much less
- 27:43like five man. I mean, it's just it was every day,
- 27:46every day I trip out on it, man, because it's
- 27:48like I never imagined it would.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Go like this, you know, I was gonna And what
- 27:52are you most proud of? Georgia? I mean, you've done
- 27:54it all.
- 27:54Speaker 2: You've done the TV show with your latest one with
- 27:57with your daughter, I believe if I remember correctly, then
- 28:00you had the one before that, which was oh my god,
- 28:03that one was so funny. It was more it was
- 28:06what was the one before that?
- 28:08Speaker 7: Like, uh.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was more. It was more like a yes,
- 28:16that one was great.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that one was so good. So what
- 28:20are you most proud? I mean, you've been doing stand
- 28:22up forever. You're a legen next. I don't want to
- 28:26pigeonhole you, but as a Mexican comedian, you are one
- 28:30of the greatest. If not, I wouldn't even know who
- 28:33who's who's accomplished more than.
- 28:34Speaker 7: You, you know, what I think. There's two answers. I
- 28:38think doing the show with Mayan was pretty much beyond
- 28:43uh my imagination, you know. And it's funny that being
- 28:47you know, working with your daughter, that when I would
- 28:50see her every day, I would I would my mind
- 28:52would see her being born, and see her at two,
- 28:55see here at five, and then see her as this woman.
- 28:57So I would say, because it's hard enough to get
- 29:00a show on your own, let's let's bring your kid
- 29:03with you. And everybody takes your kids everywhere. But like
- 29:05you know, and then I think, personally, on the on
- 29:08the other side of it, I think, uh, the start
- 29:11on the Walk of Fame in two thousand and six
- 29:13was pretty big.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh that's so impressive.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I mean, it's just it's just and it's the thing,
- 29:19George is I I me know, I saw you when
- 29:21you were first starting in the comedy clubs, and now
- 29:24all these years later, it's just it's incredible to be
- 29:28there in the beginning and see it all.
- 29:30Speaker 7: You know, you know, you know back then, you know,
- 29:32Sacramento was awesome. Man, it was just you know those
- 29:35things too, you know, like all the all the radio
- 29:37relationships you made and all.
- 29:40Speaker 4: The clubs and stuff.
- 29:41Speaker 7: Is like, if you're fortunate enough to have people come
- 29:43and see you, you know, it's easy to get to
- 29:47get better.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Man.
- 29:47Speaker 7: But you know sometimes when I when I think about things,
- 29:50and I'll tell somebody that I don't know if I
- 29:52would have had the heart for it, if I hadn't
- 29:54have become successful, Like how much do you take before
- 29:57you say it?
- 29:58Speaker 4: You know, I think I wrap this up?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Well, how how did you do it?
- 30:02Speaker 11: Though?
- 30:02Speaker 1: Georgia with this idea?
- 30:03Speaker 2: These comedians coming out today, they go put a little
- 30:05clip on YouTube or and then their Instagram or TikTok,
- 30:08and all of a sudden they get a show you
- 30:10were you were fighting for a space that just wasn't
- 30:13there when you start.
- 30:14Speaker 7: Yeah, it's definitely way it's way different.
- 30:16Speaker 4: You know. One time I was doing the view and they.
- 30:19Speaker 7: Had some like influencers go before me, and they're like
- 30:23they're gonna go. They're gonna go before you, with maybe
- 30:25three of them, and I said, then you'll be the
- 30:28second Guess that I said, all right, But then as
- 30:32they were on, they had nothing to really contribute other
- 30:35than whatever video they showed, so they kind of ran out.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Of like steam there.
- 30:42Speaker 7: And then when I went out there, you know, the
- 30:43all prepared, you know, and they were like, man, that's
- 30:47the eye opening you know that that you put three
- 30:50of them out there at all they're about is what
- 30:53they video.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, so hold on, Georgia. Second, we got
- 30:56more with George Lopez. He's gonna be at the Fox
- 30:58Theater May sixth. He they get your tickets. Now that's
- 31:01a Saturday. So George Lopez is here. He's got to
- 31:04be the Fox Theater Saturday, May sixteenth. And you were,
- 31:07I mean you were, you were fighting when you whatever,
- 31:09only a couple of comedians, a couple of top comedians
- 31:12back in the eighties and nineties when there was there
- 31:15wasn't room for everybody. Everybody nobody got a TV show
- 31:18like you did.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you know.
- 31:20Speaker 7: The craziest thing is, you know, I saw a picture
- 31:22of Led Zeppelin, you know, walking you know, down this
- 31:26hall the way backstage, and I said, it looks a
- 31:28little bit now because it's been.
- 31:29Speaker 4: So long, man, like fifty years. Like those dudes walked.
- 31:33Speaker 7: There, and you're like, somebody say you should be dinosaurs
- 31:36or around. And then and then you see these guys
- 31:40and you're like, man, like I was alive I knew
- 31:42Richard Pryor, you know, I saw Ridney Dangerfields. I saw
- 31:46all these old dudes that.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Aren't around anymore.
- 31:48Speaker 7: But when I was growing up, like those were the
- 31:51those were the guys that everybody tried to be, you know,
- 31:53the guys were.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Trying to look at.
- 31:54Speaker 2: But now you're one of those guys, if you put
- 31:57in the context moving forward, you're now one of those guys,
- 32:00one of those iconic comedians now that are still around.
- 32:04Speaker 7: And you know, I think I think in all the
- 32:07things that I've done, I think, you know, in movies,
- 32:10you they you're Robert Rodriguez. I did movies with Shark
- 32:14Boy with him, and when every time I messed up,
- 32:16he goes, come on here, let me show you. So
- 32:18you can showed me in the monitor where I messed up,
- 32:21and he'd.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Be like, all right, don't do that, and I'd be like, oh, dude.
- 32:24Speaker 7: Like a like a dog man, they bring you to
- 32:26the hey, don't ever do this again, and I was like, man,
- 32:29I gotta go here. I just want to show you
- 32:31real quickly, like oh my god. Like so, so I
- 32:34think stand up is the is the freest form of
- 32:37I think That's why I think it's it's elevated comedians
- 32:40and there's a lot of you know, there's a Netflix
- 32:42festival where people comedians do the Hollywood Bowl.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Now you know, I did.
- 32:46Speaker 7: Me and Me in Santana did the Hollywood Bowl in
- 32:49two in two thousand and nine, which does not even
- 32:52sound like it's almost twenty years ago.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Oh wow, what hey? What do you think about comedy today? Now?
- 32:57What do you think about it? After all these.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Years of being in it and being you know, a
- 33:02pioneer to an extent of some of it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: What do you what do you think about comedies today?
- 33:06Speaker 4: You know, I wish one thing.
- 33:08Speaker 7: I wish the times were different. I wish there wasn't
- 33:11so much like division and so much uh like people
- 33:16hating on each other man and and and all the
- 33:19things that people you know, get billied on the internet
- 33:22and you know, you know they're not prepared for it.
- 33:24I just think the time, I just hope. I just
- 33:26wish the times were different, like we were living in
- 33:28a more in a happier time.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I mean, you do it.
- 33:30Speaker 7: All these years and then when you want to kind
- 33:32of wrap it up, it's crazier than it was and
- 33:36any other time in your career it's almost like you're
- 33:38almost forced to go out there.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what so what do you so what you're
- 33:43back on to?
- 33:44Speaker 2: Are you back on tour now Georgia and you're and
- 33:46what's next for You're still looking at more shows?
- 33:48Speaker 1: You're still looking at more movies or what?
- 33:51Speaker 4: Do you know?
- 33:52Speaker 7: You know, I have podcasts, just like a smaller one.
- 33:54So I think we're looking at one legitimately like larger
- 33:58in scale, you know, within the executive producer and and
- 34:01everything you because they become almost there's shows now they're
- 34:06not even podcasts anymore. They're larger than shows. You know,
- 34:10they tour with podcasts and stuff like that. So I
- 34:12think maybe maybe less road and maybe if that thing
- 34:15works out, which everybody, you know, I've done so many things,
- 34:18I would say, you know, you get an opportunity that
- 34:21that might be a mixture of both.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Of them, because you know, I like to be home
- 34:24a little bit more. I make a.
- 34:25Speaker 7: Field in the Fox always been one of my favorite places.
- 34:28But I mean, you know, as you're as you're older
- 34:30by out.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Here, yeah, I think I think the last time you
- 34:34were at the Fox, I actually was walking in and
- 34:37you were just.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Standing on the sidewalk. You're just standing right out front
- 34:40the foxes. I don't know, you're just hanging out.
- 34:42Speaker 7: I think, I remember, what do you do? It's funny
- 34:46because it's funny because you know, you never you never
- 34:49think that anybody would recognize you man. And and in
- 34:52the beginning, I went to Chicago.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Is really cool to me. So I went over for
- 34:55this lady, the general manager.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Because I called all the general managers the summer before
- 34:59my Joe went on, because I heard that Drew Carrey
- 35:02did it, and you know, it helped him. You make
- 35:04a relationship with all the gentlemen.
- 35:05Speaker 4: And I sat there and called all the general matters.
- 35:07Speaker 7: So when I was in Chicago, you know, I look
- 35:09up and there's there's an Indian family, you know, from India,
- 35:12you know, and this husband and a wife and a
- 35:15son and daughter. And I see him on the movie Escalator.
- 35:17And then I'm kind of looking down this early Sunday
- 35:19morning and I see their feet.
- 35:22Speaker 4: You know, and I look up.
- 35:23Speaker 7: And the and the husband says, my son said that
- 35:27you're you are the man.
- 35:29Speaker 4: And I said, I said, I'm one of them. I'm
- 35:31one of them.
- 35:32Speaker 7: And he's like, oh, that that you have a television.
- 35:34I said, yeah, I said, I do. I do because yeah,
- 35:37he saw he like said, we took a picture of
- 35:39my family, and.
- 35:39Speaker 4: I was like, wow, man, I mean that's well, like
- 35:42that was the in the beginning. That was the beginning
- 35:44of the beginning.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you've always been very accessible though. I think over
- 35:47the years you've always been very accessible to the fans
- 35:51and been around we know.
- 35:53Speaker 7: I think the thing you know, I think and you
- 35:55know this because you know, there's a personality for radio,
- 35:58there's there's things you know, and and the fact that
- 36:00everything I've.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Done has my name.
- 36:03Speaker 7: I think people think that when I do something like
- 36:06that's who I am.
- 36:06Speaker 4: But it's not.
- 36:07Speaker 8: It's not.
- 36:09Speaker 4: It's like an actor act.
- 36:10Speaker 7: Oh man, that guy, that guy's meaning to his mom.
- 36:13Speaker 4: It's like, no, no, no, it's not.
- 36:14Speaker 1: It's not being well, that's incredible.

- 36:34Speaker 4: It's great. It's really great, man.
- 36:35Speaker 7: I've been out there working on it, you know what,
- 36:36actually considering maybe even potentially.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Looking at like a one man show.
- 36:40Speaker 7: So this is a little more personal, but it's still
- 36:42got some it's still got some bang to it.
- 36:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 36:44Speaker 1: That's great. Thanks for spending time with us this morning, George. George.

- 36:58saw you guys at the Mac and Cheese Festival this weekend.
- 37:01First off, that was the first time my tired life
- 37:05seeing Romeo in person, not gonna lie.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I was a little starstruck.
- 37:08Speaker 2: But then I ran into Seahawk Lou and that's when
- 37:10it really started fanboying. I never thought i'd actually see
- 37:14the legend in real life. Yeah, Seahawk Lou. And somehow
- 37:18the biggest surprise of the whole whole day was finding
- 37:21out that, uh, this man really has a wife. Shout
- 37:25out to her, because she's stronger than all of us. Yeah,
- 37:30any woman that's gonna be with seahawk Lou has gotta
- 37:32be He's gotta be a champ, right, all right?
- 37:37Speaker 6: Why not?
- 37:38Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 37:39Speaker 4: Romeo?
- 37:39Speaker 12: Before all those undeserving van wagoner start calling? Can I
- 37:43get some tickets to George Lopez?
- 37:45Speaker 4: No?
- 37:46Speaker 10: You ain't got no tickets for me?
- 37:47Speaker 1: Come on, man, I got no tickets for George blowpet.
- 37:50You gotta go buy him?
- 37:51Speaker 5: All right, I'm gonna buy him.
- 37:52Speaker 6: Are you going?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Am I going?
- 37:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 37:55Speaker 1: Probably not. I'm gonna walk around a rousing fight.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Okay, Anyway, I have no Georgia Lopez tikes.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I think we already gave him away already.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Apparently, from what I understand, we get Hi away a
- 38:09month ago or something like that.
- 38:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 38:11Speaker 2: So we're gonna have to go buy George Lopez tickets
- 38:13if you want to go see him.
- 38:14Speaker 5: What's man?
- 38:15Speaker 7: What up?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Blue?
- 38:18Speaker 11: Oh?
- 38:18Speaker 4: Nothing?
- 38:18Speaker 10: Chiller around here? Listen to the radio, get trash?
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 4: So yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 10: It was pretty interesting to me too, that Mac and
- 38:29Chief fast.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Because go ahead, hurry up.
- 38:35Speaker 10: It was just weird because it was like ten to
- 38:38fifteen different people coming up to me like, hey, here's
- 38:42the glue man, and I'm like, damn, how do you know?
- 38:47Speaker 2: Because you're the only duve ass with a beat box
- 38:50backpack your moral.
- 38:51Speaker 1: That's why you might.
- 38:53Speaker 2: As well have a neon sign that I said, I'm
- 38:55Sea hog Loser from Losco.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Hey.
- 39:00Speaker 10: But it was cool because, you know, I was about
- 39:03to start asking people if they want to autograph or something.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Well, I was.
- 39:08Speaker 2: At Ruben's yesterday and he told me, your wife verified
- 39:12that you burn the meat. Nah, You're wife hereby verified
- 39:18that you cannot cook and you burn your barbecue.
- 39:23Speaker 10: You lying, Rome, you know what I mean. I gotta
- 39:27let it fly inca the Mother's day, but lying because
- 39:32I don't like it burn. I like it, you know,
- 39:34kind of well done?
- 39:35Speaker 2: Oh well, okay, hey, tomato, tomato, whatever you think?
- 39:40Speaker 1: Whatever else you sleep at night, loom, I sleep just fire.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yeah's wife verified that he will burn the meat if
- 39:54he's barbecued. Getting ready for summer vacation, we're getting ready
- 39:58to go on trips, right, so let's talk about going
- 40:01on vaca.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Right.
- 40:02Speaker 2: You might have already started going on vacation, but some
- 40:05of you might go on vacation all weekend long, I
- 40:07mean all year long, hitting those weekend trips when you can.
- 40:10But let's talk about getting in an argument on vacation.
- 40:14Nothing worse than going on a vacation, right, And you
- 40:17get in an argument with your chick. You're getting in
- 40:19an argument with your dude. Maybe the whole family starts fighting.
- 40:23Maybe you start fighting with your parents. Maybe you start
- 40:25when the families, maybe your husband or your wife, your spout,
- 40:28whoever it is, you're on your boyfriend or girlfriend. Man,
- 40:30there is nothing worse than an argument on vacation.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Right.
- 40:34Speaker 2: So let me tell you a story. So that's a
- 40:36few years ago, probably five, six, seven years. I got
- 40:38to remember our long ago was, but it was a
- 40:40while back. There was about eight couples all went to
- 40:43went to have a suit for a few days, gonna
- 40:45have a good time. Stopped at this place called the
- 40:47Bikini Bar. Now you're on vacation. A lot of uh,
- 40:52you know, make the rules are a little bit different
- 40:55when you're on vacation. Okay, things you let things go,
- 40:59let things slide a little bit, right. So the bikini
- 41:02bar basically is a bar where all the waitresses are
- 41:05in bikinis. So all the guys decide to go by there.
- 41:10Not like it wasn't like we were all going to
- 41:12a strip club. Now the guys just the girls want
- 41:14to do something. The guys say, we're gonna go to
- 41:16this bar down the street, the Bikini Bar. We didn't
- 41:19know it was the Bikini Barn till we got there,
- 41:21walk in, sit down. All of a sudden, you know,
- 41:24call the wives. Hey, we're at the bikini bar. Nobody's
- 41:27really and one wife just lost it. So for the
- 41:31next three days all they did was argue about the
- 41:34bikini bar, and for the next three years about the
- 41:39couldn't that was such a touchy subject whenever friends got
- 41:42got in you know, got around each other.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Oh, remember we went to the bikini bar.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Node, don't bring that topic up because man, his wife
- 41:50was pissed. So they just argued the rest of the time.
- 41:52It was pretty emn funny actually already four two four
- 41:56seven seven. When I say funny, it's because it's always
- 41:59funny when it's not right. Hey, Roam, you talking about
- 42:01arguing on a vacation. Yes, it is the worst. Let
- 42:04me tell you what happened to me about thirty years ago.
- 42:08I worked for a company and every year we would
- 42:11go down to Mexico to do some fit like a
- 42:14company retreat. So it would just be the employees. So
- 42:18we used to always go to these bars. Things got crazy,
- 42:21you know, people making out, just girls getting naked body
- 42:25shots off every part of their body. Well, one time
- 42:30me and my friends and some family members decided to
- 42:33go down there for vacation.
- 42:34Speaker 1: So I took my wife.
- 42:36Speaker 2: We walk into one of the bars that we normally
- 42:39go to and there's a there's a how do I
- 42:42say this?
- 42:44Speaker 1: There's a lady on the bar and this guy is.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I don't know what he said, I can't stay on
- 42:51the radio is basically down there, right, So we walk in.
- 42:57So we walk in and this lady's on the bar.
- 43:00This guy's down there doing his business. My wife sees it,
- 43:04turns to me and said, so this is what you've
- 43:06been doing all the times you go on your company
- 43:09retreat down here for fishing.
- 43:12Speaker 1: She walks out of the bar.
- 43:15Speaker 2: I didn't see her for a few hours later when
- 43:17she came back to the room. We didn't talk the
- 43:20rest of the trip. So you're right, Rome, don't ever
- 43:24get in an argument on vacation. Well, why would you
- 43:27go to a place that you know is like that?
- 43:31Why would you take your wife there? What is wrong
- 43:34with you? Like I said, man, you ever get in
- 43:36an argument on vacations. Talking about getting an argument on vacation.
- 43:40Nothing worse than arguing when you're on vacation right with your.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Spouse or anybody.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Actually, Hardy for two five four seven to seven eight Romeo.
- 43:49Every year we go down to Cancoon for vacation, my
- 43:54wife and I, we got some friends and we take
- 43:56her dad with us. Now, her mom passed away and
- 43:59her dad never remarried, so he's still a big part
- 44:02of our family.
- 44:03Speaker 1: So there's about twelve of us.
- 44:05Speaker 2: We're all down in CanCon and her dad decides he
- 44:09wants to go to a strip club to check it out.
- 44:13So I don't think anything of it because I'm with
- 44:16her dad. Well, when she finds out, she was pissed.
- 44:21She got so mad that she actually went and rented
- 44:25another hotel room for the night just to get away
- 44:29from me. Wow, that's kind of funny, Eardy four two
- 44:36seven to seven. Well, at least it was just for
- 44:38the night, right, at least she didn't stay.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I don't know how long you guys were there, but yeah,
- 44:43that's wild. Probably shouldn't have went.
- 44:45Speaker 2: You gotta let sometimes, you gotta let your father in law.
- 44:49Speaker 1: You gotta let him hang. You gotta let not go down.
- 44:51Speaker 2: With him, because I've noticed a lot of women out
- 44:54there we'll let their father well, we'll accept what their
- 44:58fathers do, but won't accept what their husbands do. So
- 45:02you got to make sure be careful with that one, bro.
- 45:04I guess you found out the hard way though. Already
- 45:06four two five, four seven to seven. Man, you go
- 45:09on vacation, You getting an argument?
- 45:11Speaker 1: What happened?
- 45:12Speaker 2: Nothing worse? Going on vacation right, getting to an argument?
- 45:15Speaker 4: Right?
- 45:15Speaker 2: Your fun and son is done once the argument starts,
- 45:19right already four two five four seven to seven, Yo, roam,
- 45:22check this out. It wasn't really a vacation, but I
- 45:26was dating this girl. It was the first time we
- 45:28went away for the weekend. I took it to Pismo
- 45:31and we were hanging out on Friday having a great time. Well, Saturday,
- 45:35she wanted to go get a massage, so I said, okay.
- 45:38She went to get a massage. I told her I
- 45:40was going to be at this bar down by the beach. Well,
- 45:44I run into my ex girlfriend and her new man,
- 45:48who I actually knew him. So when my girl rolls
- 45:51up to me at the bar, I'm sitting there drinking
- 45:55with my ex and her new man.
- 45:57Speaker 1: And this girl lost it.
- 46:00Speaker 2: She started yelling at me and asked me what I
- 46:03was doing and trying to get away with. She ends
- 46:07up walking away and I didn't think much of it.
- 46:10I was kind of in shock that she acted like this,
- 46:13and so I just let her go. I started to
- 46:16look for her a few hours later, went back to
- 46:19the room. Nothing there. I didn't know where she went.
- 46:23About four hours later I finally get a hold of her.
- 46:27She's back in Bakersfield. I don't know how she got
- 46:30a ride home room, but she left me in Pismo. Jeez,
- 46:37good morning, what's going on?
- 46:39Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, Angel Brom. I can't even go down.
- 46:43Get that went down and go see my hand surgeon
- 46:45was over there in Valencia, right, uh huh. And I
- 46:48never take my wife because I said, no, go where
- 46:51I go is the highest, you know, it's like a
- 46:53you burn me hill.
- 46:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:54Speaker 5: Well, I happened to go to school when one of
- 46:57the main girls down there, and my daughter says, oh,
- 47:01daddy had lots of fun over there. He had a
- 47:03lot of friends. So she got up. She went with
- 47:06me yesterday, Oh my god, it was hell. She wants
- 47:10me to camp through the doctor. I camp too far in,
- 47:12you know, I got a broken hand. And the girl,
- 47:16the girl, you know, the girl, she's seen.
- 47:17Speaker 7: The girl said, who's the girl? Me?
- 47:20Speaker 5: Angel?
- 47:21Speaker 4: Oh my god, oh it was war War your numbers.
- 47:28Speaker 5: And she was like, excuse me, I mean the people
- 47:30are professional for Valencia. And the girl looked at me
- 47:34and she smiled and she said, man, look at you, man,
- 47:36you made it.
- 47:39Speaker 4: You know how to go back?
- 47:40Speaker 5: What does that mean? And and and the girls had
- 47:45to walk away.
- 47:45Speaker 1: No, damn, Angel, Mommy looked fly though, Angel, you gotta stop.
- 47:54Speaker 5: I had some great opportunity.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Wrong, all right, man age too much, brother, Angels.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Half his life is in a fight.
- 48:02Speaker 4: All right.
- 48:03Speaker 1: So it's Romeo here. We're talking a little bit about
- 48:05are you in? Are youing on vacation?
- 48:07Speaker 2: Right?
- 48:08Speaker 4: Yo? Rome?
- 48:09Speaker 1: We took a trip to Hawaii.
- 48:11Speaker 2: My now ex husband and I were already separated, but
- 48:14co parenting. We got into a huge fight, of.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Course, about three different times.
- 48:21Speaker 2: But one of them he literally packed his bags and
- 48:24said that's it, I'm leaving. We all stayed quiet, let
- 48:28him walk out the door, and started laughing our butts off.
- 48:32He came back about an hour later. He had no
- 48:35access to our flight tickets, no way to go home.
- 48:42I think he thought he was going to uber home.
- 48:48My two nieces were with me, so it wasn't just
- 48:51our kids.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, what were you guys arguing about?
- 48:57Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 48:58Speaker 2: Wow, that's great, all right, yeah, arguing on vacation. That's
- 49:03something else, isn't it already? Four two five, four or
- 49:06seven to seven? You ever on vacate, got an argument
- 49:09with your husband, with your wife, with whoever, whoever you
- 49:11are on vacation with, just ruined the whole damn thing.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Go, what's going on?
- 49:17Speaker 8: Hey?
- 49:17Speaker 1: What's up?
- 49:19Speaker 9: So arguments on vacation. We went out of town for
- 49:22my husband's birthday, and uh, we got into it and
- 49:27it was ugly, real ugly.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Why wait? Why did you get into it? Though?
- 49:35Speaker 10: Well, we don't need to discuss that, okay, okay, details now, okay,
- 49:43that's fine.
- 49:46Speaker 9: So then anyway, I end up calling the police. He
- 49:55got arrested on his friend.
- 49:56Speaker 11: Oh my go.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're still married to him.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's Romeo.
- 50:16Speaker 2: We're talking about vacation, getting in arguments on vacation, right,
- 50:20all right?
- 50:20Speaker 1: What you got me here? Hey?
- 50:21Speaker 11: Rome?
- 50:22Speaker 1: I took my mom to Cancun.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh, I take my mom or I took my mom
- 50:25to CanCon every year, and I pay for everything.
- 50:28Speaker 1: One year, I don't even remember.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Why the hell she got mad, but she wouldn't allow
- 50:34me to pay for anything anymore.
- 50:36Speaker 1: She started calling.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Everybody and their mama to send her money, and all
- 50:42send her money and made a whole mess of it.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Fighting with your spouse is one.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Is one thing, but fighting with your parents you can't
- 50:53really do much except shut up and act like nothing
- 50:56is wrong.
- 50:59Speaker 1: The hell you can't. What do you mean you're an adult?
- 51:03Speaker 12: They don't know.
- 51:05Speaker 1: I leve my mom there.
- 51:06Speaker 2: She'd act like that, But my mom would never act
- 51:09like that, and she would have had to pay for me.
- 51:11Now I couldn't afford to pay for her. Hey, Roam,
- 51:14That last guy reminded me of Robert Near on the
- 51:16movie Taxi Driver, when he takes the woman to see
- 51:19a smut film on a first date.
- 51:22Speaker 1: You know, I never seen taxi driver?
- 51:24Speaker 4: All right?
- 51:24Speaker 2: Eight fourteen, five four or seven seven? What did you
- 51:28got here?
- 51:29Speaker 7: Rome?
- 51:29Speaker 2: So I take my wife r I anniversary to Longbeach.
- 51:32She wanted to know why we were going, where we
- 51:34were going to stay. I wanted to be surprised. So
- 51:37about halfway there, I tell her we are staying on
- 51:40the Queen Mary. She starts crying, saying that boat is haunted.
- 51:44Speaker 1: My dumb ass. I had thought. I had thought the
- 51:47boat would be romantic.
- 51:49Speaker 2: When we arrived, it was late, so they gave us
- 51:52a key and room number. If you've never been on
- 51:55the boat, they hallways to all the rooms are very narrow.
- 51:58We finally get to our room, opened the door, and
- 52:00there's a person laying in the bed.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Scared the out of me or out of both of us.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Part two of the anniversary get away became so perfect,
- 52:10but that's for another day. Head Butt Raider out. I
- 52:16will tell you something that happened to me once we
- 52:22were I think I was a NAPA at a resort
- 52:24in Naple. Golfers were in NAPA and walked into the
- 52:28room and dude was sitting on the bed.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Button naked and.
- 52:36Speaker 2: While and his wife was in the shower just they
- 52:39just got done having sex.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Guy walk in. I go, oh, damn.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Dude, like, he goes up and he grabs the he
- 52:45grabs you know, the blanket, and he goes bro I said, man,
- 52:49I'm sorry, man, they gave me the key to this room.
- 52:51Speaker 1: He goes, oh, he was They were so cool about it.
- 52:54Speaker 4: He wasn't.
- 52:54Speaker 2: He's all, man, I'm just glad you didn't walk in
- 52:56ten minutes earlier when me and my wife were going
- 52:59at it, I was like, okay, but we just went
- 53:04back up to the to the desk and got another room.
- 53:06Speaker 1: So it was it was funny. It was funny, no
- 53:09big deal. It was funny.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Though that's happened, that's not I'm sure that's happened to
- 53:13a lot of people talk.
- 53:14Speaker 1: About vacation a little bit.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Okay, when it comes to going on a vacation, you
- 53:19and your spouse, your partner, whoever it is, when one
- 53:22of you wants to go to bed earlier than the other,
- 53:25what is the rule? And the reason I say that
- 53:29is because we were on a cruise and a guy
- 53:30was telling me that is why if she had too
- 53:32much to drink so she wanted to go back to
- 53:34the room. Now remind you you're on a cruise ship. Okay,
- 53:37so nobody can go anywhere, but she she goes back
- 53:40to bed, or she goes to bed, passes out. Then
- 53:43he goes out for a few more to you know,
- 53:45parties to like midnight and she gets mad at him.
- 53:49Speaker 1: When when will you? When was he supposed to go
- 53:52to bed? So what do you do?
- 53:53Speaker 2: I mean at home, do you guys go to bed
- 53:55at the same time? And when you're on vacation, I mean,
- 53:59and if you're in Vague for the weekend, if you're
- 54:01I don't know, on a cruise ship, maybe you're in
- 54:03Mexico staying at a resort. I mean, think about the
- 54:07different vacations that we all take. Maybe you're just in
- 54:10you know, Pismo, hanging out at your trailer. If some
- 54:14if the spouse, if your spouse wants to go to bed,
- 54:16does that mean you're supposed to go to bed, even
- 54:19if you still want to hang out, even if you
- 54:21still want to do other things.
- 54:24Speaker 1: How does that work?
- 54:26Speaker 2: Seems a little selfish to me, right already four two five,
- 54:29four or seven to seven, And yeah, kind of seems
- 54:32like it's always the woman. The guy kind of kind
- 54:35of he goes to bed and doesn't really make the
- 54:37woman go to bed. But it kind of seems like
- 54:38it's always the woman who says, we gotta go to
- 54:40bed now, when the reality is, no, you gotta go
- 54:43to bed. Already four two five, four or seven to seven.
- 54:47I don't know how that works with you guys. Or
- 54:48we were on a cruise, right and a guy was
- 54:51saying his wife had too much to drink, so she
- 54:53went to bed early. Then she got mad at him
- 54:55for not going to bed early with her? What's the
- 54:58rules on that? Four two, four, seven to seven? Good
- 55:02morning to what's going on?
- 55:03Speaker 9: What's good morning?
- 55:05Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 55:07Speaker 9: So I was listening to what you were saying about,
- 55:10like vacation and you're possibling to lay.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Down with you.
- 55:13Speaker 8: Yeah, I think it comes from like a trusting because
- 55:17like me and my husband we go to like vacation,
- 55:20we go to Mexico, go to Vegas, and if.
- 55:22Speaker 13: He wants to be out by have fun, I'm going
- 55:25to have room service.
- 55:26Speaker 11: I'm taking a couple of baths.
- 55:28Speaker 10: I'm going to enjoy my time without you because this
- 55:30is my vacation too.
- 55:34Speaker 9: I think I could have come down to that.
- 55:35Speaker 11: Like honestly, think about it, because if a man wants
- 55:38to go to bed, he's not telling his lady.
- 55:40Speaker 10: Like you, what's going down.
- 55:41Speaker 9: It's always a woman like I'm kind Yeah.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I know, yeah, I know, that's awesome. That's awesome. Hey,
- 55:53thanks for calling only four four seven seven. Yeah, that's
- 55:59what I mean. So what is what is your rule?
- 56:01How does that work?
- 56:03Speaker 4: Right?
- 56:03Speaker 2: If you want to go to bed and your spouse doesn't,
- 56:06you're out on vacation, you're having a good time, everybody's
- 56:09you know, but you get tired of you drink too much?
- 56:11Why does your spouse need to go with you? Already
- 56:14four two five four is seven to seven? Come to
- 56:17you live from the Just Wing It studios already four
- 56:19two five four seven to seven? So how does that work?
- 56:24Speaker 4: You?
- 56:24Speaker 2: Guys we were we're talking about when you you're on
- 56:26vacation with your spouse, right, and one of you wants
- 56:30to go to bed earlier than the other. Maybe you
- 56:31drink too much, Maybe you're you know, I don't know.
- 56:33Maybe you just like to go to bed early. What
- 56:36are what are you supposed to do? Because a guy's
- 56:38wife we were on a cruise and the guy's wife
- 56:40got mad at him because she wants she drank too much,
- 56:42went to bed. He stayed out and she got mad,
- 56:45which I don't know. It seems a little ridiculous to me. Right,
- 56:48you're on vacation. It's everybody's vacation, you know, It's like
- 56:52the girl that called earlier. She said, well, it's my
- 56:55vacation too, so I'm gonna do what I want.
- 56:58Speaker 1: You can do what you want, or we can do
- 56:59it together. Right, how's that work?
- 57:01Speaker 4: Already?
- 57:02Speaker 2: Four two five, four or seven to seven yr rome?
- 57:05My wife likes to go to bed early, so I
- 57:08end up going back to the room with her and
- 57:10just hanging out watching TV.
- 57:12Speaker 1: And that's how that works.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Well, what if it goes the other way? What if
- 57:16you don't want to stay out? What if she wants
- 57:19to stay out later than you? Then what do you do?
- 57:23Does she have to stay out with you? Or do
- 57:25you just do whatever she wants?
- 57:27Speaker 1: All right? Already?
- 57:28Speaker 2: Four two five, four, seven to seven? I yeah, I
- 57:31think that's funny. What's the big deal? Do you really
- 57:35not trust your spouse enough to be out doing whatever
- 57:39because you want to go back to the room and sleep.
- 57:40You're on vacation with your spouse, right, Maybe you're in
- 57:43a big group. Maybe it's just you and him or her,
- 57:45whoever your partner is, your spouse is if one of
- 57:49you wants to go to bed early, does the other
- 57:52one have to go with you? And if they don't,
- 57:56are you gonna be mad about her already four two, five, fours,
- 57:58seven to seven?
- 58:00Speaker 1: Out what's going on?
- 58:01Speaker 4: What up? Brother?
- 58:03Speaker 7: Hey?
- 58:03Speaker 5: So the question is or the wapp and the husband
- 58:06got mad because.
- 58:06Speaker 4: You wanted to stay out?
- 58:07Speaker 2: No, she the wife got mad because he stayed out.
- 58:10She got she had too many beers, went to went
- 58:12to bed, and he stayed out with everybody else as
- 58:15she got mad.
- 58:16Speaker 11: And they're all friends.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they're all friends. Everybody was.
- 58:20Speaker 4: It was just you can't get mad.
- 58:22Speaker 7: I understand if maybe it with some randoms or something,
- 58:25but unless they got a little his your own brother.
- 58:28Speaker 8: Nah, So, let.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Me ask you this question.
- 58:31Speaker 2: If you and your wife, or let's say, let's just
- 58:33say you're in Cabo for the week. All right, all
- 58:36exclusive resort, you go to bed, you go to bed earlier,
- 58:41your wife goes to bed early.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You can't stay out at the bar hanging.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Out like me personally it was her.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Or her just in general, just the idea of Okay,
- 58:52we're I don't want to go to bed at nine
- 58:55or ten, I want to stay out.
- 58:56Speaker 12: I'm on vacational We're going to get drugs, gil a
- 58:59little freaky freaking.
- 59:00Speaker 5: We're both going to.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Sleep at the same time.
- 59:02Speaker 4: I don't know why he lived, you know, like I
- 59:04should have stayed out.
- 59:05Speaker 5: With your man and had him pair you to the room,
- 59:08you know, like you stick a tongue somewhere.
- 59:11Speaker 7: Don't belong.
- 59:12Speaker 4: I don't know. My god, he's overreacting. Brother. I would
- 59:16have had fun on that vacation.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Oh no, he had fun, all right? All right, thanks
- 59:21you and I and I talked to him about it.
- 59:23Speaker 7: She was wrong.
- 59:24Speaker 1: She knows she was wrong. She knows she was wrong.
- 59:27Speaker 2: But the point is, I think it happens a lot.
- 59:30I think there's a lot of you that when you're
- 59:33out on vacation doing something and one of you wants
- 59:35to go to bed early, you think your spouse is
- 59:39supposed to go with you. And why is that? What
- 59:42are they supposed to do? Sit there and watch you sleep?
- 59:44I mean already four two, five, four seven to seven? Hey, roam,
- 59:50So check out this story a few let's see. Oh,
- 59:55a few years ago, we were over in Pizmo, camping
- 59:59at our trailers, and my buddy's wife wanted to go
- 1:00:03to bed early. The rest of us were still sitting
- 1:00:06around the campfire, drinking beers, talk and having a good time.
- 1:00:09She wanted to go to bed early and made him
- 1:00:12go with her, even though we weren't even doing anything.
- 1:00:16We were literally sitting right out front, out right out
- 1:00:20in front of the trailer she was going to be
- 1:00:23sleeping in. She still made him go to bed with her.
- 1:00:28See what I'm saying, why is that? What is wrong
- 1:00:31with you women?
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: What?
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: What you don't trust your husbands and not? What is
- 1:00:34wrong with you women? Why is that a big deal?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Already?
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Fourteen five, four seven to seven. So we were on
- 1:00:41the cruise I go on every year, and we're laughing
- 1:00:44because the guy who was on the cruise, his wife
- 1:00:46drank too many beers and went to bed early. He
- 1:00:48ended up staying out till midnight or so, and she
- 1:00:51was mad about it. Well, you shouldn't have went to
- 1:00:54bed early, right? Why does Why does your spouse have
- 1:00:58to go to bed early? Because you can't hang if
- 1:01:00you're on a vacation, right do you when you're at
- 1:01:03home alone?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Does he have to go to bed with you then?
- 1:01:06Or do you? I mean, how does that work? Already?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Four two five, four seven to seven, Like if you're
- 1:01:12sitting at a resort, you're at a casino, you're at
- 1:01:16you know the trailer park in you know, Pismo, you're wherever.
- 1:01:20If you want to go to bed early, why does
- 1:01:22your spouse have to go with you because you can't
- 1:01:25hang already? Four two five, four, seven to seven?
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: Not?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Hey? Do you know?
- 1:01:31Speaker 13: I was thinking about what you're talking about, and she
- 1:01:33didn't make him go to bed. He wanted to go
- 1:01:36to bed.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Wait, what are you talking about? No, he didn't go
- 1:01:39to bed.
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: No, the camping trip.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: I'm trying.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Oh oh the cameo, Oh the camp story about the
- 1:01:45camping trip.
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay, there's no making
- 1:01:49a man's a man.
- 1:01:50Speaker 13: If he didn't want to go to bed, don't go
- 1:01:51to bed.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Come on, now, you know that's not really true.
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: Well, I didn't marry thirty something years. My man wants
- 1:01:58to say, how my camp I have not time in
- 1:02:01dead with him?
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: Trust me, I don't.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Please enjoy yourself. Let me go to sleep.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Oh that's so funny. Right, yeah, that's great. Come on,
- 1:02:20that's great.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I don't know, mom, you've been together? What'd you say?
- 1:02:25Thirty five years?
- 1:02:26Speaker 13: Thirty one?
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Thirty one?
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I guess as you get a little I've
- 1:02:30been with somebody that long. Your perspective changes. Younger kids,
- 1:02:33I don't think feel the same way. Younger marriages.
- 1:02:36Speaker 13: They're too sensitive, they're too their babies. It's like, come on,
- 1:02:40if he wants to go to bed with you, fine,
- 1:02:42if he does, it's fine, life goes on.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Okay, I agree with but yours. I agree with you.
- 1:02:48I would.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: You're both especially if you're both on a vacation. Why
- 1:02:51do you Yeah, they're not doing anything. You just want
- 1:02:54to go to bed. We'll let him stay out partying
- 1:02:56or whatever.
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: When I go back to the room to hang out,
- 1:03:00gamble and drink.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: That's that's I agree with you. I agree one hundred
- 1:03:05percent with you.
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: All right, Thanks, I just want you.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: All right, right, Thanks your colleador.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: She really said, I spent I spent enough time in
- 1:03:16bed with that man, well after thirty one years. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:20you know, I think it's just an age thing. Maybe
- 1:03:22it's just maybe it is an insecurity thing. Maybe it
- 1:03:25is already four two five, four seven to seven.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: So when it comes to being on vacation, right, you
- 1:03:31and your spouse are out somewhere, you're having a good time,
- 1:03:35and one of you decides, Hey, I can't hange no more,
- 1:03:37drink too much early? Maybe I don't know, whatever the
- 1:03:40case may be, you go to bed early.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Why why does your spouse have to go with you?
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: You know, if you're I don't know, pick your vacation,
- 1:03:50wherever you're at Vegas, you know, maybe you're on a
- 1:03:53week cruise. Maybe you're on a I don't know. Maybe
- 1:03:56you're on a week in cantcuon an all exclusive resort.
- 1:04:00Maybe you're whatever your vacation. Maybe you're just chilling for
- 1:04:03the weekend with you know, you and your friends and
- 1:04:06family are at you know what is it Pismo Coast
- 1:04:10village or something? Why why if you want to end
- 1:04:14the party early because you're tired? You know what, if
- 1:04:19you're sharing I mean, you know what if you're sharing
- 1:04:23an area, are in a house with other people and
- 1:04:25you want to go to bed early, why do you
- 1:04:27make your man go to bed early with you? Why
- 1:04:28do you make your spouse let them party? They want
- 1:04:31to party? Good morning, what's going on?
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: Good morning?
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: Rooms? Your grocery?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Eva, how you doing, Gracia? What's going on? Oh?
- 1:04:40Speaker 11: Shoot, just a regular morning. I'm just calling in to
- 1:04:42talk about what's going on?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: With these.
- 1:04:46Speaker 11: It's age. Romeo's age is differently a factor.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: I'm on my second.
- 1:04:53Speaker 11: Marriage and our anniversary is coming up to we'll be
- 1:04:56married eight years in a few weeks.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:05:00Speaker 11: My husband has worked over tiny a greaveyard shift for
- 1:05:06probably twenty plus years. Right, Okay, so naturally his body
- 1:05:11is you know, he's charging overnight, you know, So me
- 1:05:16and my husband don't drink.
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I'm the drinker.
- 1:05:18Speaker 11: So once my eyes get caught like a pistol, if
- 1:05:21there's only two people at the table and I think
- 1:05:24there's like a set of four twins, that's talk for
- 1:05:26me to go lay down. I'm up crazy, I'm talking
- 1:05:30to all of the twins.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: It's time for me to go laying down.
- 1:05:37Speaker 11: However, now, what my husband will do if he knows,
- 1:05:40like he know, if I'm lit, He's like you ready
- 1:05:43or are you good?
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: And I'm like, oh, bro, I'm ready.
- 1:05:46Speaker 11: So he will walk me like to the room to
- 1:05:48make sure I get there safe.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: But he's gone yeah yeah, So now.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: So he's gone, he's off party and he's doing his things.
- 1:05:56Now I'm rested because I went to bed early. Whatever, right,
- 1:06:00so now I'm up early. I'm gonna leave him behind
- 1:06:02sleep and I'm gone that you've been in control forget
- 1:06:10this point, Like it is not that deep. You don't
- 1:06:12have to go to even at home if he wants,
- 1:06:15you know what, work, late night, nude whatever, like you
- 1:06:18can't have control over and like that like you yeah,
- 1:06:21you dragging it, like yeah, you put toddlers to bed.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well I just wondered, But I wondered people.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I bet there are still people out.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: There that go to bed at the same time, every together,
- 1:06:34every night, even when one of them doesn't want to.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I bet that happens.
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: It probably do, but they gonna be the odd couple
- 1:06:41because that's crazy.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that is crazy. He said, that's crazy. All right,
- 1:06:45all right, all right, should do you?
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: Good morning?
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Thanks for callify only fourteen five four or seven to seven.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying. What I mean, how is
- 1:06:55it supposed to work? Are you really?
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Are you really upset if you go into better if
- 1:07:01you are the spouse that goes to bed early, and
- 1:07:06you're huh, you're on some sort of vacation or something.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Why why make your why ruin your other?
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Why ruin your spouse's time by you know, making them
- 1:07:16go with you just as you can't hang all righty
- 1:07:20for two, five, four, seven to seven.
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: What's up, Hey, Romeo, I want to comment on the
- 1:07:24whole going to bed early.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: On v cas.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Yeah, what's up?
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: So?
- 1:07:28Speaker 12: I know, for I am experienced whenever I go out
- 1:07:30of town my husband, I'm always the one that want
- 1:07:33to go to bed early.
- 1:07:34Speaker 11: I'll just do that.
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: But honestly, you know, like you said, you know, it's
- 1:07:40always still a certain amount of times that you go
- 1:07:42on the casion or support such.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: And so forth.
- 1:07:44Speaker 12: So I just kind of like, suck it up unless
- 1:07:46I don't feel this, but you know, you know, enjoy
- 1:07:49the moment and be out there such and so forth.
- 1:07:51Now is does he want to go out and leave
- 1:07:54me in the whole town room? Sometimes No, it really
- 1:07:57happens where he's like, hey, well, if you want to,
- 1:08:00I'll just go and grab a drink at the bar
- 1:08:01or whatever it be. It hardly ever happens. Would I
- 1:08:05be a post put? Not really, because we're on vacation.
- 1:08:08I mean, is already there?
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, alright, okay, alright, cool, all.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Right, thanks for calling. Appreciate it. I mean it just
- 1:08:20you're on vacation. I mean It's not like everybody gets
- 1:08:22to go on vacation all the time.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: So uh, you should you shouldn't say anything. Hey, Roam,
- 1:08:30if she's feeling sick from drinking a bit too much,
- 1:08:33I think you should stay in the room with her.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Yeah no, why what? Look, man, you go on vacation
- 1:08:41to go enjoy yourself.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I mean some of you guys, a lot of you
- 1:08:43guys work hard, and you want to make the most
- 1:08:46out of your vacation.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, alrighty four two five, four, seven
- 1:08:55to seven. If you're going somewhere like if you're going
- 1:08:58down to Mexico all inclusive of you got pool side drinks,
- 1:09:02you got bars, you gotta swim up bars you got
- 1:09:04you know, you want to hang out and have a
- 1:09:06good time. Man, you might not want that night to end.
- 1:09:09There's nothing wrong with that. Especially don't want it to
- 1:09:11end early. Four two five, four, seven to seven. And
- 1:09:16we're doing a live from the Just wing A Studios
- 1:09:19about about going to bed going to bed on vacation.
- 1:09:23Do you and your spouse go to bed together? Is
- 1:09:25it okay for one of you to stay out if
- 1:09:27you're not ready to.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: End the night. You're on vacation, it's a little.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Bit different than being out, you know, at home, but
- 1:09:35being on vacation, you want to go to bed early.
- 1:09:39You want your spouse to just sit in the room
- 1:09:41and what do nothing? What kind of logic is that?
- 1:09:45What's going on?
- 1:09:46Speaker 9: So you know, like, no, I'm not here. I'm like, please,
- 1:09:53let me go to bed. If I go to bed
- 1:09:55before you, that's the worst. I have to hear of
- 1:09:57your storing from your sleep, and then I could actually
- 1:10:03be asleep instead of hearing.
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: You all.
- 1:10:07Speaker 9: Night leading two three hours.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Damn, that's that's cold. I go lie, that's cold.
- 1:10:15Speaker 9: Right, I mean, you ain't having a kid sleep in
- 1:10:20your bed to go co sleeping with your baby and
- 1:10:24then moving around and then having to hear your men
- 1:10:27sleep at me. I'm like, oh my god, I get
- 1:10:29no rest. I get no rest.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: So you okay? So you're okay with going to bed
- 1:10:35and leaving them out?
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: Yeah, go ahead and do what you're gonna do. I
- 1:10:39trust you.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 1:10:41Speaker 12: Know you're not gonna do it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: The only thing you could do wrong is go out
- 1:10:45and get something to eat without me.
- 1:10:49Speaker 12: That's all day.
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: Find out some of those fool wrappers of a rear.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: Y with me.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: You've better breached something back, even if I got to
- 1:11:01eat it in the morning.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Uh, hey, good morning, Romeo brother.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: Hey, I was gonna tell you man that shouting the
- 1:11:10challenge was pretty funny.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was pretty good. It was hard. It
- 1:11:15was a lot harder than I thought it was gonna be.
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: Women.
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: I mean, I'm telling you it's gonna be the bell.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a lot harder than I thought it
- 1:11:26was gonna be. We're gonna have to do something a
- 1:11:28little bit different next year. I don't know what that
- 1:11:30is yet, but yeah, it was a lot harder.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Oy.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: Then somebody hit the new.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Somebody almost hit the hit the road, somebody broke or
- 1:11:40light or whatever that camera light is that those clowns
- 1:11:43used for uh for no, for the videos. You know,
- 1:11:48people would take videos. So yeah, I know it was
- 1:11:51uh yeah, it was something else.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:11:53Speaker 11: It was.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: It wasn't easy. I ain't gonna lie. It wasn't easy.
- 1:11:56It was. It was a lot harder. I thought it
- 1:11:58was gonna be right, but huh, it was very entertaining.
- 1:12:03You're absolutely right, You're absolutely right.
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: It was.
- 1:12:06Speaker 12: It was a good time, but disappointment of the look
- 1:12:08on his face when they completely missed everything.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, next year, I'm gonna do it a little bit.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna make it somewhat easier for them, But not
- 1:12:19I can't.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: It was hard, so I can't even say nothing crazy
- 1:12:23in ak.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: I don't get off work till late sometimes while they
- 1:12:26already being bad.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: That's what I mean.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: That's the last thing I.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Don't want to do is wake up and go back
- 1:12:31to work.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: So I'm gonna stay up for a little bit.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, alright, alright, man, all right, yeah, all right, everybody,
