- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. Ben isn't
- 0:10Speaker 2: here this week. He is in Italy. Can't wait to
- 0:13Speaker 2: hear about that trip. But for now breaking down headlights
- 0:16Speaker 2: with me, we have Deanna Pappis.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Welcome, Gianna back to the show. Thank you.
- 0:23Speaker 4: I've become quite the regular you have been.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I know that we've talked about, well, I'll just dive
- 0:29Speaker 2: into it. We've talked about, you know, your recent divorce.
- 0:32Speaker 2: But now we want to like concentrate on talking about
- 0:35Speaker 2: some fun things. Well fun things are not fun things.
- 0:38Speaker 2: It's called dating. How has it been?
- 0:41Speaker 3: Have you done it at all?
- 0:43Speaker 5: Uh?
- 0:43Speaker 4: No, No, I'm not dying. I am so busy poking
- 0:46Speaker 4: fun at myself on social media, and people are just
- 0:49Speaker 4: like beside themselves, like text messaging me and saying it's
- 0:52Speaker 4: gonna be okay, hang in there, You're gonna find someone.
- 0:55Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh no, no, no, no, I'm just joking.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I'm not actually trying to find someone. I'm just fun
- 1:00Speaker 4: at the reality of my situation. That's me on a
- 1:03Speaker 4: Monday night in my house alone, trying to make funny
- 1:06Speaker 4: videos on Instagram because truly, I'm in my pajamas and
- 1:09Speaker 4: I'm not doing anything but hanging out with myself.
- 1:12Speaker 3: So no, I have been.
- 1:13Speaker 4: On one date with this cute little thirty year old
- 1:16Speaker 4: kid who hit on me in the Nashville airport, and
- 1:19Speaker 4: I only went out with him because I was like,
- 1:20Speaker 4: bold move, dude, Like bold move hitting on me in
- 1:23Speaker 4: the airport with my two kids, mind you, And it
- 1:28Speaker 4: was that's fine.
- 1:29Speaker 1: But like.
- 1:31Speaker 4: He's thirty and I'm almost forty two and getting divorced,
- 1:36Speaker 4: Like what does that even look like?
- 1:37Speaker 2: You know, my friend is thirty three and she recently
- 1:44Speaker 2: hooked up on vacation with a twenty three year old.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And it's funny because like when you know you're young,
- 1:51Speaker 2: but when you're young and then you see like your
- 1:53Speaker 2: celebrity crushes dating these older women, you're just like, why
- 1:59Speaker 2: wouldn't he I'm his age, like date your age, And
- 2:02Speaker 2: then when you're in your thirties and forties, you're like,
- 2:06Speaker 2: oh no, no wait, I see the appeal of a
- 2:07Speaker 2: younger man and met and younger men.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Always see the appeal older lady.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I'm telling older lady, quote quote quote you know, so,
- 2:17Speaker 2: like do you find yourself wanting to cougar a bit.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, this is this how Stella got her
- 2:22Speaker 4: groove back? You know what. I went to the Dodgers
- 2:27Speaker 4: Braves game a few nights ago. I think four kids
- 2:30Speaker 4: were sitting in front of us, and me and my
- 2:31Speaker 4: girlfriend are practically the only people in the stadium wearing
- 2:34Speaker 4: Braves jerseys. Because I'm from Atlanta, I'm a huge frames.
- 2:37Speaker 4: And as soon as we sit down, these kids turn
- 2:39Speaker 4: around and they start hackling us like ooh, braz blah,
- 2:41Speaker 4: and I'm like, sit down, child, like sit down, no joke.
- 2:47Speaker 4: They were like twenty two years old. It took them
- 2:49Speaker 4: a hot minute, but then they realized I was this
- 2:51Speaker 4: woman from the Bachelorette. And then they were all over
- 2:53Speaker 4: me and like, let me take you to dinner, let
- 2:55Speaker 4: me do this. And I was like, I draw the line.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I am almost forty two years old. That is twenty
- 3:01Speaker 4: years your senior. No, I am not babysitting tomorrow night,
- 3:04Speaker 4: Like could you even afford to take me to do
- 3:07Speaker 4: I don't want to go somewhere that's not halfway decent.
- 3:10Speaker 4: But these kids were all over it. And so at
- 3:12Speaker 4: the end of the day, I remember thinking like it's
- 3:14Speaker 4: super flattering obviously, Yeah, I still got it. I'm not
- 3:18Speaker 4: sure what that actually is what I do have, but
- 3:21Speaker 4: that somebody remotely finds me attractive. But you know, it
- 3:25Speaker 4: is funny. It is the younger kids that have the
- 3:29Speaker 4: actual balls to hit on you.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm totally this guy.
- 3:33Speaker 2: The twenty three year old was worshiping my thirty three
- 3:35Speaker 2: year old friend, like saying, like how can I what can.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I do to like make you happy?
- 3:40Speaker 2: And like he was very proactive and texting and getting
- 3:43Speaker 2: together with her.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, worshiping her maybe what she needs. Thirty and
- 3:49Speaker 4: twenty three though.
- 3:50Speaker 2: That's a big one difference, right, that's not a big difference.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And it's like, okay, so if he was twenty six
- 3:55Speaker 2: and thirty six not that big, but.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Twenty three and thirty three might be. It's it's so.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Crazy, like the minutia when it comes to age gaps
- 4:04Speaker 2: and when you feel it and when you don't.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I guess that The difference in being like
- 4:10Speaker 4: forty two and where I'm at just in my life
- 4:12Speaker 4: and emotionally and everything else is like I just don't
- 4:15Speaker 4: care anymore. I mean I do in a way that
- 4:18Speaker 4: I'm speaking, but there's just no more fucks to give,
- 4:22Speaker 4: do you know what I mean?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Like what I have?
- 4:24Speaker 4: I two my husband left me, I'm getting divorced. Like
- 4:28Speaker 4: I just I feel pretty good about myself. I know
- 4:30Speaker 4: who I am. I feel pretty secure at my core,
- 4:32Speaker 4: and like if someone finds that attractive to me, that's nice.
- 4:38Speaker 4: It's nice, you know. I mean, I've been through a lot.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I've been through a lot in the last few years,
- 4:42Speaker 4: and it's been really difficult. So if it's a thirty
- 4:45Speaker 4: year old who hits on me, then that's that's what
- 4:48Speaker 4: it is. But no, I'm not dating. Not dating.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Will you be interested in dating? At some point you think, oh, yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Of course. I would have thought if someone would ask me, okay, okay, Actually,
- 5:01Speaker 4: when I don't leave my house and you know, I'm like, oh,
- 5:04Speaker 4: why doesn't anyone want to date me? I hang out here.
- 5:06Speaker 4: I went to bed at seven thirty last night, seven thirty.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Seven thirty. That like kind of freaks me out. Ben
- 5:12Speaker 2: goes to bed really early too, It kind of like
- 5:13Speaker 2: freaks me out. I don't know what it is, like,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I don't want to see any glimmer of sunlight if
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm ever heading to bed.
- 5:19Speaker 4: No, No, I went to a really nice sushi dinner with.
- 5:22Speaker 3: My my get out and his wife.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I'm always the third wheel, and I held their baby
- 5:27Speaker 4: the whole time while they ate so they could get
- 5:29Speaker 4: a nice hot meal. So here I am holding the
- 5:31Speaker 4: baby out with my married friends. And then I come
- 5:33Speaker 4: home and I go to bed at seven thirty and
- 5:35Speaker 4: I wake up at seven am, and I'm like, oh
- 5:37Speaker 4: my god, that's almost twelve full hours. I'm doing really well.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Well, you just said that like your husband left you.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Are you willing to talk a little bit about how
- 5:46Speaker 2: that went, I'll all run down, not really, okay.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Oh no, I didn't want divorce. It was not something
- 5:54Speaker 4: that I chose. But this is where we're at, and
- 5:59Speaker 4: more so so now I am totally fine with it.
- 6:03Speaker 4: And obviously things were difficult for a long period of time,
- 6:10Speaker 4: challenging and just hard, just really hard. And the difference
- 6:15Speaker 4: is is like, marriage isn't meant to make you happy.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I mean, you're married, you have kids. Marriage is not
- 6:21Speaker 4: meant to make you happy. It is meant to refine you, hopefully,
- 6:25Speaker 4: and two people can learn to cohabitate, you know, as one.
- 6:29Speaker 4: But that's a big confusion when it comes to relationships.
- 6:34Speaker 4: People will say all the time. You don't make me happy.
- 6:35Speaker 4: You don't make me happy. I'm not meant to make
- 6:37Speaker 4: anyone happy. You aren't, either as a wife or a
- 6:39Speaker 4: spouse or whatever. We're not meant to make people happy.
- 6:42Speaker 4: But marriage and relationships and companionship is meant to refine us.
- 6:46Speaker 4: And hopefully you learn to do that together and grow together.
- 6:49Speaker 4: And unfortunately we just couldn't. So now my goal is
- 6:52Speaker 4: to just be a great co parent. I had a
- 6:55Speaker 4: really difficult childhood because my parents fought constantly and fought
- 7:00Speaker 4: in front of me. I'm really ugly to one another,
- 7:02Speaker 4: and like, that's awful, and I don't want to do
- 7:04Speaker 4: that to my children. So I'm trying really hard to
- 7:07Speaker 4: get along well with Stephen and be great co parents
- 7:10Speaker 4: because I want my children to have a very different
- 7:12Speaker 4: experience in what I had growing up.
- 7:14Speaker 2: How will your experience over the past few years affect
- 7:18Speaker 2: dating in the future and finding a future spouse.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You'd like to get married again?
- 7:23Speaker 4: No, I actually do not ever want You don't want to.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Get married again?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Okay, so you're open to dating, but you don't want
- 7:28Speaker 2: the dating to result in marriage.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want to say that. I'm one hundred
- 7:34Speaker 4: percent closed off from it. I just this is also
- 7:37Speaker 4: fresh to me. Yeah, I am still healing in a
- 7:40Speaker 4: work in progress, and I guess at the end of
- 7:42Speaker 4: the day. And I shared this when I was on
- 7:43Speaker 4: a few weeks ago with Bob and Trista. Yeah, it's
- 7:46Speaker 4: not that I don't ever want to get married again.
- 7:50Speaker 4: It's just that I don't necessarily need that piece of paper.
- 7:54Speaker 4: I've had a big wedding, I've done the whole thing.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I don't need that To be in a relationship and
- 7:59Speaker 4: be fully committed with someone that I choose as a companion,
- 8:02Speaker 4: I don't necessarily need to get married again. But I
- 8:06Speaker 4: realize that may be important to whoever I should choose
- 8:09Speaker 4: to share my time with in the future, and so
- 8:12Speaker 4: I'm open to the conversation. But it's just not important
- 8:15Speaker 4: to me right now in the face.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And I'm and like, you already have the kids, and like,
- 8:19Speaker 2: I don't think you plan on more kids.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I don't want any more children. Like I feel pretty
- 8:23Speaker 4: solid where I'm at, and I feel really great with
- 8:26Speaker 4: my two kids, and they're seven and nine and I'm
- 8:28Speaker 4: forty two. I don't want to be pregnant again. I
- 8:30Speaker 4: do not want to spend another year of my life
- 8:32Speaker 4: breastfeeding a baby, Like I just I feel solid where
- 8:35Speaker 4: I'm at, in the place in my life where I
- 8:38Speaker 4: am with my kids. I'm totally open, Like if someone
- 8:40Speaker 4: else has kids, like I love babies, I will hold
- 8:43Speaker 4: your baby and I'll put your baby to sleep all day,
- 8:45Speaker 4: and then I will go home and I will get
- 8:46Speaker 4: a good night's rest. And I am open to dating
- 8:50Speaker 4: someone who has children and having a blended family, like
- 8:54Speaker 4: that's totally fine. I just don't know that I necessarily
- 8:58Speaker 4: need that sheet of paper more, you know. And that's
- 9:01Speaker 4: also a blessing to Ashley. In this phase of my life.
- 9:03Speaker 4: When dating, there's there's no pressure, you know what I mean,
- 9:06Speaker 4: Like I'm not sitting across on the table from someone thinking,
- 9:09Speaker 4: oh I see my future husband. Like there's literally no
- 9:12Speaker 4: pressure whatsoever because I've done it and I don't necessarily
- 9:15Speaker 4: think that I want to do it again.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah, and you don't have that biological clock being like
- 9:19Speaker 3: I need to find someone now, like you can just
- 9:20Speaker 3: take your time in finding someone.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, all right, Well, thank you for sharing all that.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I know you shared more with just Bob on the
- 9:27Speaker 2: almost famous og. So you guys can check that out.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Now.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Deanna is going to help me break down headlines this week.
- 9:44Speaker 3: We have quite a bit.
- 9:45Speaker 2: They're good ones. So first up we have Jesse Palmer.
- 9:49Speaker 2: He says that the Golden Bachelor contestants are rock stars.
- 9:51Speaker 2: The night did not end at ten pm. He said
- 9:55Speaker 2: that he was kind of expecting, because of their age,
- 9:59Speaker 2: that maybe they'd be going to sleep around ten That
- 10:02Speaker 2: first night that goes from sundown to sun up was
- 10:05Speaker 2: going to be a lot from them. They didn't change
- 10:07Speaker 2: that format for the older crowd. But he goes, they
- 10:12Speaker 2: were just rockstars. They were like pulling all nighters.
- 10:14Speaker 3: They're rolling.
- 10:15Speaker 2: He goes, and I see these young kids sometimes take
- 10:17Speaker 2: naps on the couch here and there throughout that first night,
- 10:21Speaker 2: but not these ladies.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So is this surprising to you and not? It isn't
- 10:25Speaker 3: to me.
- 10:26Speaker 2: If they were even like at all struggling with staying awake,
- 10:29Speaker 2: I feel like they were like, no, I'm here, I'm
- 10:32Speaker 2: going to be I'm going to do this this process properly.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Well it's a funny thing too, even at their age,
- 10:38Speaker 4: like they have nothing to lose, you know what I mean,
- 10:40Speaker 4: All of these women properly feel so secure and confident
- 10:45Speaker 4: in themselves. I'm actually it's the first season I would
- 10:47Speaker 4: watch in a really long time. I have not watched
- 10:49Speaker 4: the show in at least a decade, and.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It really yeah, yeah, I got so.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Sick of the wash, you know what I mean, the
- 10:56Speaker 4: rinse and repeat, it's the same thing. And to be honest,
- 10:59Speaker 4: the older I get, the younger they get, and I
- 11:01Speaker 4: don't have a lot in common with the girls, you
- 11:02Speaker 4: know what I mean. So for me, it was just
- 11:04Speaker 4: hard to watch the show. I got sick of the gimmicks,
- 11:07Speaker 4: you know what I mean, everybody getting out of the
- 11:08Speaker 4: limo and wearing a dinosaur costume or riding in on
- 11:11Speaker 4: a horse or whatever. You know, It's just I got
- 11:14Speaker 4: sick of just the way the show thrived off of
- 11:19Speaker 4: created drama. I missed the piece of the show where
- 11:22Speaker 4: it used to be somewhat genuine, Like I get the concept,
- 11:26Speaker 4: like if they've always had a plan, they always cast
- 11:28Speaker 4: people to be certain characters, like I understand that, but
- 11:30Speaker 4: it just felt a little bit more genuine back in
- 11:34Speaker 4: the day, and so I just struggled to watch the show.
- 11:36Speaker 4: So this is the first season I'm actually excited to watch,
- 11:38Speaker 4: and I feel like it's going to be good, but
- 11:40Speaker 4: you know, it's so funny. I'm sure you've asked your friends.
- 11:42Speaker 4: People are on the fence. Like I literally was just
- 11:44Speaker 4: talking to one of my best friends the other day
- 11:46Speaker 4: and they were like, I do oh no, I'm not
- 11:47Speaker 4: trying to watch a bunch of old ladies make out
- 11:49Speaker 4: with an old man at night, and like that, if
- 11:51Speaker 4: that's what it's going to be, I don't want to
- 11:52Speaker 4: do that. And I don't know, I find something like
- 11:56Speaker 4: sweet about it.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I don't imagine most of my friends are on board.
- 12:00Speaker 2: There was one that was hesitant over it, and I
- 12:02Speaker 2: was like, really, I'm surprised from you. But anyway, you
- 12:06Speaker 2: have actually recently said that you wish that there was
- 12:09Speaker 2: some middle show now because we have the twenties and
- 12:13Speaker 2: thirties on the one show, and then we have the
- 12:15Speaker 2: sixties and seventies on the other, and you're like, excuse me,
- 12:18Speaker 2: where are the forties and fifties.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Where are the forty two year old divorces that come
- 12:22Speaker 4: back for their second chance? Where are they? You know,
- 12:26Speaker 4: I think there is something to be tapped into there.
- 12:30Speaker 4: And you know this, You've been a part of the
- 12:32Speaker 4: show and the process and the franchise for a long time,
- 12:35Speaker 4: but like especially now with the strike, there's no new
- 12:38Speaker 4: television coming out ABC. The Bachelor franchise, they have all
- 12:43Speaker 4: of these people that they could tap into. I think
- 12:45Speaker 4: they see the success in that when they do things
- 12:47Speaker 4: like Bachelor, Pad, Bachelor and Paradise. Yeah, the Winter Games,
- 12:51Speaker 4: you know what I mean. People like to see those
- 12:52Speaker 4: people come back. And so for me, as I was
- 12:54Speaker 4: saying to Rob Mills and some of the other executives
- 12:56Speaker 4: when I saw them a few weeks ago, is I
- 12:58Speaker 4: was just thinking, like, why why aren't you tapping into this?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Why don't you spend more time tapping into people who
- 13:05Speaker 4: have been on the show before?
- 13:06Speaker 3: And always talked about that, like why are there not
- 13:08Speaker 3: more spin offs?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Like why even if you don't do it on ABC,
- 13:10Speaker 2: like do it on Hulu your partner, right.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Why are you not doing that? You have a built
- 13:15Speaker 4: in fan base, you have a built in connection with
- 13:17Speaker 4: these people who have already been on the show. Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 4: all of those seasons have been really successful. Why are
- 13:22Speaker 4: you not tapping into those things? So, I honestly was
- 13:25Speaker 4: just a few cocktails in and Tristan I were just
- 13:26Speaker 4: joking around because she's trying to find me my new
- 13:28Speaker 4: husband too. And so I was laughing and saying that
- 13:30Speaker 4: to Rob Mills and confused and stuff, and I was
- 13:32Speaker 4: just like, just give me a shot, just let me
- 13:36Speaker 4: have a little more go at it.
- 13:37Speaker 3: So you would like to be the lead if they
- 13:40Speaker 3: had a show like that.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I am open to the conversation.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Cool, but you don't want to get married again?
- 13:46Speaker 2: No, they'd get all like annoyed because then, like the
- 13:49Speaker 2: proposal wouldn't be there in the end.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Not that going into it. There's no pressure. Twenty five
- 13:54Speaker 4: thirty dudes come in, hopefully over the age of thirty,
- 13:57Speaker 4: and there's no pressure in feeling like you have to
- 14:00Speaker 4: get to know me in six weeks and propose to
- 14:02Speaker 4: me at the end, Like that's done. I did that
- 14:04Speaker 4: already on national television and in real life. There's no pressure.
- 14:07Speaker 4: You get to genuinely come into a situation and see
- 14:11Speaker 4: if there is a connection with me or whomever they
- 14:13Speaker 4: choose to do, and see if we can take that
- 14:18Speaker 4: and have a successful relationship outside of the show, you
- 14:21Speaker 4: know what I mean. Like for me, that feels more
- 14:23Speaker 4: real than anything else you've been on the show, Like
- 14:26Speaker 4: to go on there and think it six weeks when
- 14:28Speaker 4: you've really spent what fourteen hours with someone and then
- 14:31Speaker 4: to get engaged and try to have a successful relationship
- 14:34Speaker 4: with someone that you have done this completely backwards with, right,
- 14:37Speaker 4: you've fallen in love, but you don't know who that
- 14:38Speaker 4: person is. I was with dude for four months and
- 14:42Speaker 4: it was painful, painful, Like, think out what that would
- 14:45Speaker 4: be like coming into the show and there's no pressure,
- 14:47Speaker 4: you don't have to get on one knee at the
- 14:49Speaker 4: end of the show.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it would be good, It would definitely be good.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And yes, I don't understand how. I don't get like,
- 14:56Speaker 2: I love the couples who are still together from the
- 14:58Speaker 2: main show, but I am mind boggled at how they
- 15:03Speaker 2: can be together because I was there until six eight.
- 15:06Speaker 2: You know, I was like six if you want to
- 15:08Speaker 2: call me six. I was eighth, if you want to
- 15:09Speaker 2: call me eighth, And like, are you telling me that
- 15:12Speaker 2: I had four more weeks until possibly getting No way,
- 15:15Speaker 2: No way, Okay, let's move on from that. But I
- 15:18Speaker 2: think it's a great idea, and I think if the
- 15:20Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor does do what it wants to in ratings
- 15:24Speaker 2: and popularity, I think a.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Spin off for the forties and fifties could be on
- 15:28Speaker 3: the way.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Now. This one took a long time to get so
- 15:31Speaker 2: I'm not saying what happened quick, but it could happen.
- 15:33Speaker 4: But what would they call it? They can't call it
- 15:35Speaker 4: the Golden Bachelor.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Definitely not your middle aged bachelor. Mama comes back saying
- 15:45Speaker 3: kind of awesome. All right.
- 15:48Speaker 2: So other big headline this week is Joe Amable grocer
- 15:52Speaker 2: shor Joe Instaregnna Pit. They got married for you know,
- 15:54Speaker 2: the second time, the celebration time, and it was chock
- 15:58Speaker 2: full of bachelor lum there. It was in Charleston, South Carolina,
- 16:03Speaker 2: at the Cedar Room this past Saturday, September second. They
- 16:07Speaker 2: documented so much of it on social media. It's been
- 16:09Speaker 2: really fun to watch their videographers definitely like were modern
- 16:13Speaker 2: and they were like, well, we're making you reels and
- 16:15Speaker 2: I loved it. There's one where Serena is opening her
- 16:20Speaker 2: present from Joe and it's a note that he gave
- 16:23Speaker 2: her on the show on Bachelor in Paradise. He like
- 16:26Speaker 2: slipped it to her after they're engaged. Who was like, hello, fiance,
- 16:30Speaker 2: realize you don't have my number here? It is texting
- 16:33Speaker 2: when we can move to get to the hotel or
- 16:34Speaker 2: something like that. That's so cute. Yeah, they're adorable and
- 16:39Speaker 2: so Wells officiated the ceremony. I wonder if we're gonna
- 16:42Speaker 2: get I'm sure we'll get clips from the ceremony soon.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And the Bachelor Nation couples and just a lum that
- 16:48Speaker 2: were there included Tia and her fiance, Kenny and Mariy
- 16:52Speaker 2: Noah and Abigail, Anna Redmon, and Chris Bukowski. Anna was
- 16:59Speaker 2: on her season, was on Suring this season, Nick and Natalie,
- 17:03Speaker 2: Natasha Brie Springs, which is also on her season with
- 17:08Speaker 2: Matt and I think I got that cover, but I
- 17:11Speaker 2: might be missing a few.
- 17:12Speaker 5: I think that's it.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Oh no, yes, sa I am missing a few.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Andrew Spencer went public with Becca me she who's not
- 17:20Speaker 2: part of Bachelor Nation, but he posted a picture of
- 17:24Speaker 2: them kissing. And then of course well was with Sarah
- 17:27Speaker 2: and yeah, okay, so good handful of Bachelornation right there.
- 17:32Speaker 4: There were a lot of people that were there, but
- 17:34Speaker 4: there were several people that got married in the last week.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Got married in the past week.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I mean, like Crystal Nielsen got married in the past
- 17:40Speaker 2: you know, a couple of weeks and then Danny then
- 17:45Speaker 2: and then Caylin and Dean.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Are getting married in a few weeks, and then who
- 17:51Speaker 3: are we missing? And then like Noah and Abigail got engaged.
- 17:54Speaker 3: In the past few weeks. It's just been like really
- 17:56Speaker 3: big for Bachelor in Paradise.
- 17:58Speaker 5: That yeah, all.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Right, next up is so so ridiculous. Jesse loves like
- 18:16Speaker 2: putting these things out there, and it's like, Jesse, why
- 18:18Speaker 2: are we even joking like this? Okay, let's like not
- 18:20Speaker 2: even joke like this. I don't joke about Tom Brady
- 18:22Speaker 2: as I'm fully indoctrinated into Tom Brady fandom because my husband,
- 18:26Speaker 2: Jesse Palmer says Tom Brady is a solid choice for Bachelor.
- 18:31Speaker 2: The ratings would be incredible. Yes, of course they would.
- 18:33Speaker 2: But Tom would never ever do it. There's not even
- 18:36Speaker 2: like a money amount that he would do it for.
- 18:39Speaker 3: He doesn't need the money. He could.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You imagine they'd be like a billion dollars Tom Brady,
- 18:43Speaker 2: and he would He's saying no.
- 18:45Speaker 4: But he's for right reasons, because he doesn't need a paycheck.
- 18:49Speaker 4: He'd be there for love.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Oh, he'd be there for love. I don't think he
- 18:53Speaker 3: needs like thirty women to choose from when he has
- 18:56Speaker 3: the whole world of women to choose from, and he
- 19:01Speaker 3: does have this thing going on with Irena Shank which,
- 19:03Speaker 3: in my personal opinion, this is like a little boring
- 19:06Speaker 3: to go from Giselle, one international supermodel to another.
- 19:09Speaker 2: But okay, fine, I got it hot.
- 19:12Speaker 4: From Bradley Cooper to him.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Oh exactly, thank you for that. It's just like they
- 19:17Speaker 2: just both went to their parallels, you know.
- 19:19Speaker 3: What I mean?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, but yes, a little bit more on
- 19:23Speaker 2: what he said about Tom being the bachelor. He goes,
- 19:25Speaker 2: it would be legendary. It would be great because we
- 19:28Speaker 2: can use all of his houses. We could go international,
- 19:31Speaker 2: not spend much, not spend much. The whole season would
- 19:34Speaker 2: be very budget friendly, he goes, But there is the
- 19:37Speaker 2: Irena shake issue. But she's willing to kind of just
- 19:39Speaker 2: chill out for a few months of filming. I think
- 19:41Speaker 2: we're solid. Yeah, all right, Well, next off is some
- 19:47Speaker 2: sad news about my friend Jade roper Tobert. She's been
- 19:52Speaker 2: documenting her miscarriage, her baby loss of He was five
- 19:57Speaker 2: months past, passed before five months, but she carried him
- 20:03Speaker 2: for five months and last week she had the DNC.
- 20:07Speaker 2: She If you guys don't know what that is that
- 20:10Speaker 2: basically like remove the baby from her body. And she said,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you know, she wants to post this so that people
- 20:17Speaker 2: who are going through miscarriages like feel supported and not
- 20:20Speaker 2: alone in the whole thing. This is actually Jade's second miscarriage,
- 20:24Speaker 2: this one, you know, a little bit different because he
- 20:26Speaker 2: was further along. She said that, you know, there's like
- 20:30Speaker 2: the saddest quotes, but basically she just like really wanted
- 20:34Speaker 2: to trust her body and have the baby passed naturally
- 20:39Speaker 2: so that she can bury him under a tree in
- 20:42Speaker 2: the backyard.
- 20:43Speaker 3: And she just wanted to see his little body.
- 20:46Speaker 2: But it's just time to move on, she goes, I
- 20:49Speaker 2: held on for so long trying to trust my body,
- 20:51Speaker 2: but it is time to get to the other side
- 20:53Speaker 2: of this loss and start to heal. And then she said,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I've been trying to procab my peace and respect my baby.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So she's only sharing little bits and pieces to it.
- 21:03Speaker 2: But she just wanted to say to all the ladies
- 21:05Speaker 2: out there who have gone through this or are going
- 21:07Speaker 2: through this, I see you, I feel your pain, and
- 21:09Speaker 2: I love you.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I think there's something really beautiful in that. I that
- 21:15Speaker 4: kind of loss was just so taboo to talk about
- 21:18Speaker 4: even even ten years ago, you know what I mean.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Likes the thing where you don't tell people you're pregnant
- 21:22Speaker 4: until twelve weeks just to make sure nothing bad happens.
- 21:25Speaker 4: I never quite understood that, because should you experience the
- 21:29Speaker 4: devastating grief of loss like that, wouldn't you want your
- 21:33Speaker 4: people to walk alongside you, you know what I mean.
- 21:35Speaker 4: So I've appreciated seeing her post and also Sarah Sarah
- 21:39Speaker 4: Heron she shared a lot about her loss and Ashley
- 21:42Speaker 4: Spivey and I just so much. Have just really appreciated
- 21:45Speaker 4: that because I don't feel like it should be this
- 21:47Speaker 4: taboo thing that we can't talk about, because why should
- 21:49Speaker 4: they experience that kind of grief and walk alongside it alone?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Absolutely, I've been in my not all my child bearing
- 21:59Speaker 2: years have been in the ten years, but you know
- 22:00Speaker 2: what I mean, Like the years that I would have
- 22:05Speaker 2: been in that trying to conceive process have all been
- 22:09Speaker 2: with miscarriages being more talked about that I legit cannot
- 22:13Speaker 2: imagine ten years ago when they were just something that
- 22:18Speaker 2: you don't really share, and it's like it just seems
- 22:21Speaker 2: so wrong.
- 22:22Speaker 4: It does, right, but yes, he just the times in
- 22:25Speaker 4: general changing, like women are really proud of our bodies.
- 22:27Speaker 4: And when you're pregnant and you no longer have to
- 22:28Speaker 4: wear a tent and hydrobelly like you can wear a
- 22:31Speaker 4: he's like a normal human being, you know. Yeah, So
- 22:33Speaker 4: it's just really I think it's really beautiful the way
- 22:35Speaker 4: everything is progressing, and social media in particular giving people
- 22:39Speaker 4: a space to process and process grief and not have
- 22:43Speaker 4: to process alone, because grief in itself is something that's
- 22:46Speaker 4: really traumatic. And what gosh, what she has gone through, right, Jane,
- 22:50Speaker 4: what they have gone through, It's it's like devastating. It's devastating.
- 22:53Speaker 4: I know, you have to suffer through that alone.
- 22:57Speaker 2: It's awful to see her go through this when she
- 22:59Speaker 2: wanted that baby so bad, Like she just feels it
- 23:01Speaker 2: in her bones that she's supposed to have for So,
- 23:04Speaker 2: we'll see where this goes. They did say this week
- 23:05Speaker 2: that it's up in the air on mother they'll try
- 23:08Speaker 2: for another one.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Yeah. Well.
- 23:10Speaker 2: In other baby news, Whitney Bischoff secretly gives birth to
- 23:14Speaker 2: baby number two, Welcome's daughter with Ricky Angel, her husband.
- 23:19Speaker 3: The new baby's name is Brady. Full circle moment here
- 23:23Speaker 3: Brady Carolina, and she posted on Instagram.
- 23:27Speaker 2: You were more than we ever expected and better than
- 23:30Speaker 2: we could have ever imagined. But she's speaking about like
- 23:34Speaker 2: hiding pregnancies and all that. She actually has kept this
- 23:39Speaker 2: private because they went through secondary infertility.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Do you have any idea what secondary infertility means?
- 23:48Speaker 4: I don't. I don't, but I remember she was a fertility.
- 23:50Speaker 2: She is a she is a fertility nurse, so you know,
- 23:54Speaker 2: of all people going through this, I'm sure she had
- 23:56Speaker 2: a great amount of knowledge along the way. But they
- 23:59Speaker 2: had a baby four years ago and they have been trying.
- 24:03Speaker 2: She said last year that they were just not going
- 24:05Speaker 2: to give up on this and that Brady Carolina is Carolina.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Brady Carolina is an unexpected miracle after multiple rounds of
- 24:15Speaker 2: IVF egg retrievals, doctor visits three losses in an ectopic pregnancy.
- 24:23Speaker 2: And so after all that, they took a break, took
- 24:27Speaker 2: some time to heal, and now we're not sure whether
- 24:30Speaker 2: or not they started the IVF process or not, or
- 24:32Speaker 2: that just they conceived naturally. But it's been nine months
- 24:36Speaker 2: and now the baby is here, and that's just like
- 24:39Speaker 2: really awesome. That's so awesome. She documents it all in
- 24:43Speaker 2: a reel on Instagram. So happy for them. Yeah, this
- 24:46Speaker 2: is a fun headline. Justin Bieber accidentally photo bombs Matt
- 24:50Speaker 2: James's season alum Kit Keenan. She was at Hailey Bieber's
- 24:56Speaker 2: launch at a Krispy Kreme store for her new skincareline,
- 24:59Speaker 2: wrote Skin, And of course Hailey Bieber's husband, Justin Bieber,
- 25:04Speaker 2: was there and Kit was doing some little like kitchy
- 25:07Speaker 2: thing with like a little Krispy Kreme donut, and in
- 25:12Speaker 2: through the frame walks Justin Bieber. And this video of
- 25:15Speaker 2: her has got almost a million views right now. It
- 25:18Speaker 2: got over nine hundred thousand views in just sixteen hours.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And the comments are just like, oh my god, I
- 25:24Speaker 2: would have died completely floored. I would have simply passed away,
- 25:28Speaker 2: you know all the things.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Hey, I'm a believer. I would have done it too.
- 25:33Speaker 3: That's like awesome.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Like she probably was like not planning on getting a
- 25:37Speaker 2: picture with Justin, and then there it is.
- 25:39Speaker 3: She also got a picture with Haley, who.
- 25:40Speaker 2: She loves, and then finally we just got worried about
- 25:45Speaker 2: this about an hour ago.
- 25:47Speaker 3: It seems as if.
- 25:49Speaker 2: The Michael Alio and Danielle Malty relationship is could put
- 25:55Speaker 2: because while there's been speculation of this four months because
- 25:58Speaker 2: they haven't posted each other and they've said some strange
- 26:02Speaker 2: things about keeping their relationship now private, you know, after
- 26:07Speaker 2: being public for an entire year. But yeah, so she
- 26:11Speaker 2: deleted all of her Instagram pictures of him. So if
- 26:14Speaker 2: that doesn't tell you they're broken up nothing else. Well, Now,
- 26:17Speaker 2: what I think is really particularly unfortunate about this, Yes,
- 26:20Speaker 2: it was a very meaningful relationship because they both like
- 26:23Speaker 2: said I love you for the first time in a
- 26:25Speaker 2: long time since like the death of their loved ones.
- 26:30Speaker 2: It's the fact that she moved to Ohio and she
- 26:34Speaker 2: just picked up her life, that she'd been living in
- 26:36Speaker 2: Nashville for quite some time and now she's like settled
- 26:40Speaker 2: in Ohio and like, I don't think that she's gonna
- 26:43Speaker 2: be happy about that, and like she has I think
- 26:46Speaker 2: she may have opened her own medspa there or like
- 26:51Speaker 2: she's high in their rings at one there, and it's
- 26:53Speaker 2: just like.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Ugh, that sucks. How do you feel about that?
- 26:56Speaker 4: It's also Ohio, not a I'm in Ohio.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yeah, like and it was like Akron, Ohio.
- 27:02Speaker 4: God in comparison to Nashville too. Uh, well, you know,
- 27:07Speaker 4: there's some beauty in it. She gave it her, all right, Like,
- 27:09Speaker 4: how else would it have worked? One of them had
- 27:11Speaker 4: to go to you know.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Yeah, and he wasn't going to because the child right right.
- 27:17Speaker 4: So you know, maybe she'll find beauty and starting over.
- 27:20Speaker 2: There maybe, or maybe she'll run back to Nashville. All right, Well,
- 27:26Speaker 2: I'm sure it's only a matter of time now that
- 27:28Speaker 2: we get an official announcement from them. Even though they
- 27:32Speaker 2: said they're not going to talk probably about the relationship,
- 27:34Speaker 2: I think we can say it's done.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Unfortunately, no reading machine lines.
- 27:38Speaker 2: No, all right, well, Gianna, it has been a pleasure
- 27:42Speaker 2: to have you here. Anything to say about headlines this
- 27:45Speaker 2: week or Bachelor Nation going forward?
- 27:48Speaker 4: No, but I appreciate you catching me up on all
- 27:50Speaker 4: the gossip.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Oh good. Thank you watching.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Cooking videos on Instagram to keep up with all the
- 27:55Speaker 4: bach the Nation couples. So thank you for filling me in, Ony.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yes, anytime, all right, Well until then, until we see
- 28:03Speaker 2: you next time, we'll be rooting for more thirty year
- 28:06Speaker 2: olds to hit on you, and we'll also be rooting
- 28:10Speaker 2: for you to be the middle aged bachelorette.
- 28:12Speaker 4: All right, Okay, I'll take it.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Okay, we'll see you next time. Until then you know
- 28:17Speaker 2: how we sign off here. I've been Ashley, I'm Deanna amazing,
