CIA Strategy: Whose Job Is It Anyway? Avoiding Operational Traps on the CIA Exam · VoraPrep Audio — Professional Licensure & Certification Exam Prep

Hey, welcome to VoraPrep Audio. Today's episode is from our CIA Exam Strategy Masterclass: "Whose Job Is It Anyway? Avoiding Operational Traps on the CIA Exam". On the CIA exam, four options will look completely reasonable. But two of them will get the auditor fired. Here is the boundary filter. Ava: Marcus, why do experienced internal auditors often struggle with CIA multiple-choice questions? Marcus: Because in the real world at their company, internal auditors wear many hats and help business units fix things. But on the IIA exam, independence is sacred and absolute. Ava: Exactly! If an option says "The internal auditor should design and install the new inventory tracking system," that sounds helpful, but it is 100% wrong on the exam. Auditors evaluate controls; management installs them. Marcus: Keep that boundary in mind, keep your pace at 72 seconds, and you will breeze through Part 1.
