- 1:01Speaker 4: The doors are open to patreon dot COM's last drama Darling.
- 1:05Speaker 4: They opened once once in a while. We're looking for
- 1:08Speaker 4: new members right now, but the time the doors might
- 1:11Speaker 4: close soon, so we'll see. We had the most phenomenal
- 1:16Speaker 4: zoom the other day with a zoom hangout. Emily, you
- 1:19Speaker 4: were not there. You weren't invited because you didn't get
- 1:22Speaker 4: the invite. No, I'm kidding.
- 1:23Speaker 5: I was traveling in.
- 1:25Speaker 4: She was traveling, she was getting settled in here.
- 1:30Speaker 3: But you only allowed four hundred and twenty people into
- 1:33Speaker 3: the Zoom and then you and then you were letting
- 1:40Speaker 3: people out once you hit four twenty, like, oh.
- 1:43Speaker 4: My, yes, by the way, yes, the Zoom was great.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Thank you. Tell the darlings who joined us. We had
- 1:51Speaker 4: so much fun. But also you guys. Exclusive on patreon
- 1:56Speaker 4: dot COM's last drama Darling is the Bravo Book Club,
- 2:00Speaker 4: which we just featured, reviewed, and recapped Sena She's New
- 2:04Speaker 4: York Times best selling book, My Good Side. Jamie and
- 2:10Speaker 4: Emily and I did that and it is up over there.
- 2:13Speaker 4: We had a blast and we really liked it, didn't we.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I said it yesterday. I'll say it again.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Did not expect to enjoy that book as much as
- 2:22Speaker 3: I did. And I know that we're getting a lot
- 2:24Speaker 3: of attention on that Brock affair, but I actually learned
- 2:27Speaker 3: a lot about.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Just the ins.
- 2:30Speaker 3: And outs of well Sheena, but also production in BANDR
- 2:34Speaker 3: Pomp in terms of like how that all works and
- 2:36Speaker 3: from her point of view.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I really enjoyed it.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I did too. I thought it was one of
- 2:41Speaker 4: the better memoirs of bravoeleberties, you know, because we've read most.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I would say I think almost all at least I have.
- 2:52Speaker 3: So.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Yeah. The last one we did was Heather Heather, heatherca
- 2:57Speaker 4: bad Mormon. Oh, I have to put that in collection
- 3:01Speaker 4: of Rabo book Club. Might have to do that, Okay, Yeah, anyway,
- 3:04Speaker 4: another one, that's another good one. Yeah boy, we're on
- 3:06Speaker 4: the heels of Salt Lake City coming back. Love Island
- 3:10Speaker 4: Reunion is going to be happening next week. We're going
- 3:13Speaker 4: to do recap of that. We will be getting into
- 3:16Speaker 4: McBee Dynasty eventually very soon.
- 3:20Speaker 5: What else you know it?
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yeah, Amy, I know that some of our listeners will
- 3:24Speaker 3: know this, the Darlings. I am knee deep in Love
- 3:28Speaker 3: Island UK season twelve and like, I can't stop watching it.
- 3:32Speaker 5: And there are sixty five episodes of the season. Oh
- 3:39Speaker 5: isn't that like unhinged?
- 3:42Speaker 4: It's unhealthy, is what it is. First of all, it's
- 3:45Speaker 4: unhealthy to be spectating that many people in skimpy bathing
- 3:50Speaker 4: suits for that long, because it's really going to take
- 3:52Speaker 4: a toll on your mental health sexual health. Furthermore, you know,
- 4:00Speaker 4: I don't. I don't. I'm stunned because regular, I mean
- 4:03Speaker 4: I was irregular, but American Love Island they didn't have
- 4:07Speaker 4: that many. No, it was like twenty two.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Well they had like thirty maybe thirty six or I
- 4:13Speaker 3: think it was in the thirties, but it wasn't. I'm
- 4:17Speaker 3: pretty sure it's in the thirties because even that felt
- 4:19Speaker 3: like crazy, but like, but it.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Was in a short amount of time, you know, That's
- 4:24Speaker 4: why it's so many in a short amount of time. Wow, Well,
- 4:26Speaker 4: good luck. We'll see you never. We will see you
- 4:30Speaker 4: never ever? Eva will we see you? Do They use
- 4:37Speaker 4: that same sound effect over in the UK?
- 4:39Speaker 5: Oh, but the same text sound effect.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Same time text. Oh, it's a text. Oh, they use
- 4:47Speaker 4: the same text. That's really funny.
- 4:50Speaker 3: They use the same fot they that's the same thought.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Ariel times New Roman comic drama. There's a drama. Darling
- 5:03Speaker 4: font there should be. That's the signature font of mine.
- 5:06Speaker 4: It's like a cursive but swank.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Here yeah, we write in lou Our font is the countess.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Right, pa? Duh? By the way, uh, here's baby daughter's
- 5:21Speaker 4: latest drop. I'm no queen. It's so funny.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Any who.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Okay, well, why don't we welcome ourselves in to below decks? Welcome? Hi, okay, hi.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Well it's nice to see Kyle apologize to Sulinill for
- 5:45Speaker 4: being such a little uh rad bastard over at the
- 5:48Speaker 4: crew night out where he was.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I mean this in the nicest way, but old boy
- 5:54Speaker 3: looks rough.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Well, he's a seaman, he's a pirate, and yeah, I mean.
- 5:58Speaker 5: He looks ill. He looks like his skin is ashen like.
- 6:03Speaker 3: He looks like the cigarettes and the booze are hitting
- 6:06Speaker 3: about ten years too early.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And you know, how does JACKX look not like that? Like,
- 6:12Speaker 4: I know Jackson has looked sweaty and bloated for a
- 6:16Speaker 4: long time. But how does Jackson? Is it just because
- 6:19Speaker 4: he's getting work done? Get your work done? Work done?
- 6:23Speaker 4: Do you remember that five or one commercial that the
- 6:25Speaker 4: Housewives did? It was in my it was in my
- 6:28Speaker 4: Cavareami dramed Earling playlist that I was playing on the
- 6:31Speaker 4: Zoom hangout. But anyway, is it because he gets work
- 6:35Speaker 4: done and wear's lifts?
- 6:39Speaker 5: Man?
- 6:39Speaker 3: I don't know, because what's his head's out in the sun.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Scottish is always.
- 6:43Speaker 4: In this sul right right, that's true.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm going to say Jack's maybe has like
- 6:47Speaker 3: a more healthier diet.
- 6:50Speaker 5: And does I mean he I think working out.
- 6:54Speaker 3: I don't know, But that's a great point, and maybe
- 6:57Speaker 3: it's just genetics too.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it's probably you know, Michigan, I mean where I'm from, Michigan,
- 7:04Speaker 4: and they crank out some good genes, you know. But
- 7:10Speaker 4: I kind of want to say something that concerns me
- 7:12Speaker 4: though about Kyle. As you said, he looks you know,
- 7:15Speaker 4: concerning you know, how he kind of like you said that,
- 7:17Speaker 4: he has sort of like a tell or you've been
- 7:20Speaker 4: mentioned maybe tick or something like that where he shakes
- 7:23Speaker 4: his head yes, but he really means no.
- 7:25Speaker 5: He takes a pause, there's a pause, and then he's shaky. Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 4: And then but he is a shaky person. He's a
- 7:33Speaker 4: shaky person. And that's what concerns me because that's why
- 7:37Speaker 4: I'm kind of like, let's get some blood work done,
- 7:41Speaker 4: you know, and also, you know, go to your doctor
- 7:45Speaker 4: because I am a little concerned that it could be
- 7:47Speaker 4: something something. And also or it's the drinking, you know,
- 7:51Speaker 4: because maybe those are the shakes.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean there's a lot there that
- 7:57Speaker 3: I did not alleged others allegedly. No, there's a lot
- 8:00Speaker 3: there in terms of like great hair, great guy, great nickname,
- 8:08Speaker 3: great nickname. No, I did not see any of this
- 8:13Speaker 3: the prior season. That's what I'm using as my baseline.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I mean, maybe maybe his movement, maybe I didn't. I
- 8:20Speaker 3: just this season, I'm picking up on everything. So it
- 8:23Speaker 3: makes me when I just go back and watch one
- 8:27Speaker 3: episode of Well, you.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Don't have time, you simply don't have time. You're watching the.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Episode.
- 8:34Speaker 4: I'm sorry. Yeah, you're not going to be able to
- 8:36Speaker 4: do that. I you know, with Kyle, when we had
- 8:41Speaker 4: that like slow motion, very dramatic like montage of him
- 8:46Speaker 4: in his cabin drinking that what looked like a very
- 8:49Speaker 4: nice aged bourbon or something behind the scotch.
- 8:53Speaker 5: It was scotch.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Was it Scotch? Yeah? I didn't read the label. I
- 8:58Speaker 4: probably didn't have my readers on Guys and Gals, so.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Your Scotch readers.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I didn't have my Scotch readers, my Scottish readers. But yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 4: that would make more sense. And you know, I cinematically
- 9:12Speaker 4: it felt tragic, you know, and then he's got They
- 9:15Speaker 4: made it so dramatic with the montages of the mistakes
- 9:20Speaker 4: that he's made and the things that people are saying
- 9:23Speaker 4: in his ears and his head and is he really
- 9:24Speaker 4: thinking that? I mean doubt it.
- 9:27Speaker 3: It's the chef Anthony treatment. He got the Chef Anthony
- 9:30Speaker 3: montage because they just they like but this episode, Chef
- 9:34Speaker 3: Anthony's montages were very like Requiem for a Dream with
- 9:37Speaker 3: like a weird camera and shake. It was very like
- 9:42Speaker 3: Indie filmed early two thousands, and I.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Was like, right it was, whereas like Kyle's was kind
- 9:49Speaker 4: of a brad Pit early nineties. You know, Yeah, Quentin Tarantino,
- 9:57Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, but that those word
- 10:00Speaker 4: different certainly. Yeah, and uh and Salam's was just, I
- 10:06Speaker 4: don't know, like a lifetime movie because it was just
- 10:08Speaker 4: her like, you know, cleaning the glass, the fingerprints of
- 10:12Speaker 4: the glass over.
- 10:13Speaker 5: They kept showing that.
- 10:16Speaker 4: They really needed to get that b roll, you know.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Yeah, you know.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I felt like that every time that we saw that
- 10:26Speaker 3: glass wiping, I thought, there's so much going on in
- 10:29Speaker 3: this boat, surely we can see something else in terms
- 10:32Speaker 3: of how are they were working, Because I really felt
- 10:37Speaker 3: so tired for them watching this episode.
- 10:40Speaker 5: I was like, I just want to put my feet up.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Meanwhile, I'm sitting down, but like I'm watching them and
- 10:45Speaker 3: I'm so exhausted.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Oh were you really tired when you saw Jess and
- 10:50Speaker 4: Barbara make out in every corner of the boat. That
- 10:52Speaker 4: that really is do this season.
- 10:55Speaker 3: That was get it done, Get it done. You guys
- 10:58Speaker 3: are working your ass off. There's a different vibe between
- 11:01Speaker 3: those two hooking up when they can and Solon.
- 11:04Speaker 4: When they can. They can and they will every second.
- 11:08Speaker 4: I mean, they're like they have more makeout sessions than
- 11:13Speaker 4: any couple I've ever seen on the boats ever.
- 11:17Speaker 3: It's impressive, but nobody seems to be bothered by it,
- 11:21Speaker 3: whereas with Solon she was just like always not working.
- 11:25Speaker 3: I feel like those two must be like cleaning and
- 11:30Speaker 3: roping off the boat while making out, because nobody's having.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Problems right right, They're just like, you know, they're doing
- 11:37Speaker 4: sheets and making out and doing laundry and making out,
- 11:41Speaker 4: spilling a tray of champagne and making out. Yes, no,
- 11:48Speaker 4: that is it's sweet.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Yeah, Rainbow's not complaining about it, so I have to
- 11:53Speaker 3: think it's good. And or she just despises Solon so
- 11:58Speaker 3: much that she's like, you guys, do whatever you want
- 12:00Speaker 3: to do.
- 12:01Speaker 5: I'm I'm fine with that as long as Solana is
- 12:04Speaker 5: like falling off all over the fucking boat trying to
- 12:08Speaker 5: fold My god, why does she fall so much?
- 12:11Speaker 4: I mean we're not on below deck sailing yet, Like,
- 12:14Speaker 4: can you imagine her on that? Geez, she'd be like,
- 12:18Speaker 4: put me put knee pads on. She's never gonna make it. Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 4: hef a dungle boom mails. Oh my goodness, Ellen ground. Meanwhile,
- 12:35Speaker 4: we're like, oh, because she's wearing socks. Oh oh, we
- 12:40Speaker 4: not supposed to wear is the stockings French stockings. I
- 12:44Speaker 4: have pantios. The patios a French panto. And Rainbow's like, yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 4: I've been trying to tell you that from day one.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Who has a paper bag? No sucks, no talking.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Rainbow also like has her eyes on demo.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, touchy reely a little loud Ooh, let me
- 13:13Speaker 4: see your muscles and oh love the scruff on the face.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So weird.
- 13:18Speaker 5: It's so weird.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Well, give give old girl a shot, you know.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Oh, I mean she can have at it. I'm just like,
- 13:26Speaker 5: she can have at it.
- 13:28Speaker 3: He's not that into it, so they'll hook up or whatever.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I'm sure that'll be that he seems by.
- 13:34Speaker 4: The receptive of the compliments. But you're right, he's not,
- 13:39Speaker 4: you know, popping them back over to her side of
- 13:41Speaker 4: the net.
- 13:42Speaker 3: So, yeah, shouldn't so long have a lot more bruising
- 13:46Speaker 3: for as much as she's falling. Because we've seen other
- 13:48Speaker 3: people through the seasons and they look rough, but she doesn't.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, she hasn't had to get a medic once. Shockingly,
- 14:00Speaker 4: it's because they are the French. We are made of rubber.
- 14:04Speaker 4: We bounced off the things we were stuckings and were
- 14:06Speaker 4: made of rubber. We bounce in it. That is a superpellan. Okay,
- 14:11Speaker 4: it's okay, No American, don't have a rubber Australian, no rubber.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Not talking about the Trojan, I'm talking about rubber. French jokes, sex,
- 14:26Speaker 4: we can can stuckings croissant. Meanwhile, Chef Anthony has been speaking,
- 14:35Speaker 4: you know, in his French accent this whole time, and
- 14:37Speaker 4: we've not once been like, oh my.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Gosh, I know you're right because he's not even saying
- 14:43Speaker 3: he says it less French and he's.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Making them right. Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Well, I mean I guess she is saying it correct.
- 14:52Speaker 3: It's just like she she just leans into the type.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Yeah I loved when Rainbow and she was like yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 4: So it was like, oh yeah, did I let him
- 15:05Speaker 4: demean because I need to know the details. Because she's
- 15:08Speaker 4: like I don't have time for your speech. What did
- 15:12Speaker 4: you say you'll say to me? And she's just long gone. Damn.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I appreciated that. That's that is when you got to
- 15:22Speaker 4: put the work before the person, sorry, put the work
- 15:25Speaker 4: before the respect. She gotta go, I know.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And I realized, remember a few episodes ago he was
- 15:31Speaker 3: really happy.
- 15:32Speaker 4: A few episodes a good.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Detur.
- 15:38Speaker 3: He must have had her back and be and was
- 15:41Speaker 3: just chewing her ear off. And then Rainbow only has
- 15:45Speaker 3: so much right, you're right, thank you for cutting all
- 15:51Speaker 3: those scenes out that would have.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Been very long winded.
- 15:56Speaker 4: The same would have made it would have behooved them
- 15:59Speaker 4: if they could have done a quick flashback to all
- 16:02Speaker 4: the times that he is just running his speeches through
- 16:06Speaker 4: past her and she's like, uh h, I gotta if
- 16:11Speaker 4: I could write, you know, if they could have just
- 16:14Speaker 4: but that probably would have been a lot of work.
- 16:16Speaker 4: But you know it's like vibes, Yeah, yeah, for sure
- 16:23Speaker 4: es high maintenance, high maintenance. As a listener, you're going
- 16:27Speaker 4: to be pulling up a lot of the slack.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Well, right, and it's he really is by himself on
- 16:36Speaker 3: that boat, and I think we know why, Like he
- 16:38Speaker 3: is not really accepted because he because he, like GE's
- 16:42Speaker 3: so mad at people throughout the day.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I think it fuels his cooking.
- 16:45Speaker 3: And then by the end of that session he's about
- 16:48Speaker 3: to like either explode on everybody else or explode on himself,
- 16:53Speaker 3: Like he doesn't have there will be an explosion.
- 16:56Speaker 5: You just don't know where it's going.
- 16:57Speaker 4: To direct, as every chef will have always, there will
- 17:02Speaker 4: always be an explosion. This we should all know. But yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 4: that's how they are, you know.
- 17:07Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know how I would be in
- 17:09Speaker 5: that situation.
- 17:10Speaker 3: When he was finally done cooking and then he had
- 17:12Speaker 3: to turn around and do crew, I was like, holy shit.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I mean it's a lot, it's a lot, but he
- 17:19Speaker 4: can't just be serving sandwiches. Okay, but on this charter,
- 17:23Speaker 4: I want to give him benefit of the doubt. On
- 17:27Speaker 4: this charter that he was like, I'm going to take
- 17:28Speaker 4: advantage of what Captain told me, and I will I
- 17:31Speaker 4: will just do a bunch of sandwiches.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree.
- 17:34Speaker 4: So I think that Domo, you know, his response, he
- 17:36Speaker 4: did deserve to apologize. I mean, Chef Anthony deserved an
- 17:40Speaker 4: apology from Domo, which he did give him, which I appreciated.
- 17:43Speaker 4: But man, that was sough for Youase.
- 17:46Speaker 5: I was like, is this it?
- 17:49Speaker 4: I was like, that's like what you're My eight year
- 17:51Speaker 4: old said to me the other night, you know, with
- 17:54Speaker 4: my dinner. Is this what we're having for dinner? Oh?
- 17:57Speaker 5: You know?
- 17:58Speaker 4: It's like, excuse me, ma'am. But he's a grown man
- 18:02Speaker 4: and he you know, but that is so frustrating when
- 18:04Speaker 4: you're starving and you're working really hard. However, he wanted
- 18:08Speaker 4: doing shit this charter because they weren't out there pulling
- 18:11Speaker 4: in the tenders, throwing down the anchor. He wasn't doing
- 18:16Speaker 4: all that stuff.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Well, so that was confusing to me because they were
- 18:21Speaker 3: constantly moving the deck crew and they were constantly having
- 18:25Speaker 3: to put shit out in that marina area. Yeah, and
- 18:29Speaker 3: then like dragging the boat out a couple inches and
- 18:32Speaker 3: then bringing it back in.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 3: It was like and within an inch of your life,
- 18:39Speaker 3: like you're going to die.
- 18:40Speaker 5: If you did that wrong.
- 18:43Speaker 3: And but then I was like to your point, I
- 18:46Speaker 3: was like, but that seems like a lot less work
- 18:50Speaker 3: than they would normally have to do. But they're all fried,
- 18:53Speaker 3: the deck crew. So that's why I was like, well,
- 18:56Speaker 3: maybe it is harder.
- 18:57Speaker 4: The deck crew is fried. I guess I didn't really
- 19:00Speaker 4: realize that. I know the interior was Yeah, well maybe
- 19:04Speaker 4: they were Jas and Barbara on their kissing tour of
- 19:07Speaker 4: Saint Martin Jesus.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Well, also they were having to do like more like
- 19:16Speaker 3: boat trips and getting that all together. It seemed like
- 19:21Speaker 3: a lot more social energy from the deck crew than normal.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Maybe that's exhausting.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Except for Kyle because he's not allowed to talk to them.
- 19:31Speaker 5: And he's sad about it.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I'd be like, thank you, yes, you have to fuck
- 19:35Speaker 3: did not have to talk to the guests around.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yes, He's like, I can tell you, but he like,
- 19:43Speaker 4: he likes people. He wants to talk to people. He
- 19:46Speaker 4: loves that kind of thing. Isn't that interesting to see
- 19:48Speaker 4: how people are that they're like that bombs him out
- 19:51Speaker 4: to not be doing that. I mean it really fuels
- 19:54Speaker 4: people's lives. Yeah, engagement with people, because.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I, I guess I must shut you.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Do you hear me? I'm talking to you and with you,
- 20:07Speaker 4: we're having a connection. She's like, oh, I'd rather be dead, no,
- 20:14Speaker 4: but yeah, I mean a break from having to yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 4: but a break from having to deal with you know,
- 20:19Speaker 4: the the guests would be a welcome idea.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Yeah, because you don't know what you're dealing with. A
- 20:26Speaker 5: cool guest. There's nothing better but like l guest, a
- 20:31Speaker 5: cool guess. But these guys are.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Pissed and I'm not trying to like fully lean in
- 20:41Speaker 3: on that because I don't know what you know. No, thanks,
- 20:44Speaker 3: I don't want anything to do with it. I know
- 20:46Speaker 3: it sucks and I can't fix it. That's my that
- 20:49Speaker 3: would be my problem with that.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Yeah, well we have more to talk about obviously. When
- 20:55Speaker 4: I take this break. I'm talking about this platform called
- 20:58Speaker 4: function Health, and it is where you can get your
- 21:01Speaker 4: blood drawn. You get your blood tested for all the
- 21:03Speaker 4: things that you don't get tested for at your doctor's office,
- 21:07Speaker 4: and it is absolutely amazing. Anyway, I also had my
- 21:09Speaker 4: blood draw today. Remember I was telling you. I was like,
- 21:13Speaker 4: I think they take like ten vials for the first one,
- 21:16Speaker 4: which they did, and it was so fast. I was
- 21:19Speaker 4: actually rewatching the valley on my phone on Peacock and
- 21:23Speaker 4: had been my airpot in and it literally lasted from
- 21:28Speaker 4: the Karen Talk like who thinks Janet is a Karen?
- 21:31Speaker 4: From the Karen Talk to the end of the Karen Talk.
- 21:34Speaker 4: That was it, Like that's how fast it went. So
- 21:37Speaker 4: if you're worried about talk yeah one Karen, talk about Janet.
- 21:40Speaker 4: And that's all it took for my blood draw all right,
- 21:43Speaker 4: So yeah, isn't that impressive. So don't be afraid. It's
- 21:47Speaker 4: not that long. But this week we're spotlighting getting tested
- 21:51Speaker 4: for the MTHFR gene mutation if you have it. And
- 21:55Speaker 4: this is hitting home for me because I have the
- 21:59Speaker 4: MTA gene mutation. When you look at the acronym mthfr,
- 22:04Speaker 4: it looks like motherfucker. Yeah's really funny, but that has
- 22:09Speaker 4: caused a lot of problems in my life. When I
- 22:12Speaker 4: discovered that I had that gene mutation, it changed a
- 22:15Speaker 4: lot of things for me, including being able to get pregnant.
- 22:19Speaker 4: So anyway, it's spotlighting getting tested for that because they
- 22:23Speaker 4: don't test you for that in your doctor's office and
- 22:25Speaker 4: what have you. All right, So check this out. Function
- 22:28Speaker 4: Health my new favorite thing. I'm going to talk about
- 22:32Speaker 4: the MTHFR gene in just a minute, but I just
- 22:35Speaker 4: want to say I choose Function because it's the only
- 22:38Speaker 4: health platform that gives you access to the kind of
- 22:41Speaker 4: data most people never see and the insights to actually
- 22:44Speaker 4: take action. Inside Function, you can test over one hundred
- 22:48Speaker 4: and sixty biomarkers from heart and hormones to toxins, inflammation,
- 22:53Speaker 4: and stress. You can also access multi region MRI and
- 22:57Speaker 4: CT scans, all tracked in one secure place over time.
- 23:01Speaker 4: It's an enhanced view of what's happening in your body.
- 23:03Speaker 4: That's why top health leaders like doctor Mark Hyman, doctor
- 23:07Speaker 4: Andrew Huberman, and doctor Jeremy London are all behind function
- 23:11Speaker 4: health and I am too. Now, if you remember, we've
- 23:13Speaker 4: been talking about hormones, We've been talking about inflammation and stress.
- 23:17Speaker 4: But today I want to talk to you about MTHFR.
- 23:20Speaker 4: It is a g mutation that is very close to
- 23:24Speaker 4: my own heart because I have it. Thank goodness, I
- 23:27Speaker 4: have detected it because it has changed my world knowing
- 23:31Speaker 4: that I have it and what I can do to
- 23:32Speaker 4: help myself. So your mood isn't random and it's not
- 23:36Speaker 4: always about stress. Sometimes your genes are pulling the strings.
- 23:41Speaker 4: There's a gene MTHFR that helps your body process folate,
- 23:45Speaker 4: a nutrient essential for making DNA. It can disrupt how
- 23:49Speaker 4: your brain makes the neurotransmitters that keep you steady and
- 23:52Speaker 4: clear headed. Here's how it works. MTHFR converts folate into
- 23:56Speaker 4: its active form, which your brain needs to make serotonin, dopamine,
- 24:00Speaker 4: and nor epinephrine. Variants in this gene can disrupt methylation,
- 24:04Speaker 4: a process that clears out homocysteine, a compound that fuels
- 24:08Speaker 4: inflammation as it builds up. Too much. Homocysteine can damage
- 24:12Speaker 4: blood vessels and has been linked to depression, anxiety, and
- 24:16Speaker 4: cognitive decline. Some signs in MTHFR mutation might be affecting
- 24:20Speaker 4: you are fatigue and low energy, anxiety or depression, migraines,
- 24:25Speaker 4: and chronic pain. But the good news is you can
- 24:28Speaker 4: measure it and do something about it. Function gives you
- 24:31Speaker 4: access to genetic testing available as an add on to
- 24:34Speaker 4: see if you carry MTHFR mutations. If you do have
- 24:38Speaker 4: an MTHFR mutation, it doesn't mean you're broken. It just
- 24:42Speaker 4: means you're like me. It means that the right inputs
- 24:45Speaker 4: like methylated B vitamins and fol eate rich foods might
- 24:49Speaker 4: help your brain work better. Your mood isn't random, your
- 24:52Speaker 4: genes are talking. Function helps you listen and act. Learn

- 29:12Speaker 4: Emily Deresis. Let's talk about these guests, these restaurant owners.
- 29:17Speaker 4: They're in the business, they're in the industry. And we've
- 29:21Speaker 4: got Ron who is the primary and his wife. They're
- 29:25Speaker 4: celebrating their anniversary, their tenth anniversary to which they're going
- 29:29Speaker 4: to jump in the water. Now, those parents out there
- 29:34Speaker 4: or non parents that happen to know all about cartoons
- 29:37Speaker 4: and such. Have you watched PJ Masks or PJ mask Okay,
- 29:44Speaker 4: so do you know Romeo? That's who Ron looks like.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Oh totally.
- 29:49Speaker 4: I'm holding up the little action figure right now. If
- 29:52Speaker 4: you're watching this trum Mama's and Papas. He's the villain
- 29:57Speaker 4: of the show. He's like the little boy that's the
- 29:59Speaker 4: like the mas scientist on the show. And he's got
- 30:02Speaker 4: his hair is black and it sticks up and he's
- 30:05Speaker 4: got a gray streak in it.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It was just like, Ron, you're not gonna get a
- 30:13Speaker 1: good tip. It's we're in the industry and we know
- 30:21Speaker 1: how service works, but we're still gonna hold you accountable.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Wow, everybody they could have possibly had.
- 30:30Speaker 5: You'd think these people would.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Get understand Yeah, he shouldn't. I thought, like once he
- 30:38Speaker 4: said he was in the restaurant industry, which I for
- 30:40Speaker 4: maybe we knew that before, didn't remember. So when he
- 30:43Speaker 4: went up to the captain after Doug was like, hey, Ron, uh,
- 30:51Speaker 4: you were we really gonna give him a real a
- 30:55Speaker 4: real big tip or a tip at all. He's like, well,
- 30:58Speaker 4: I'll talk to captain and then he was like, you know,
- 31:01Speaker 4: we're all in the industry and I'm like, well, if
- 31:02Speaker 4: you're in the industry, shouldn't even be approaching him. You
- 31:05Speaker 4: should know.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I also got the vibe that Ron was pushing it,
- 31:10Speaker 3: not the other the other guests.
- 31:12Speaker 5: I mean my I thought maybe the other guest was like,
- 31:14Speaker 5: well we shouldn't. Like I don't know the.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Protocol on this, but like I got the vibe that
- 31:20Speaker 3: Ron was kind of leaving the church.
- 31:23Speaker 4: You well, I mean, I don't know, well he's even
- 31:29Speaker 4: if he didn't, he certainly brought it home. Yeah, but
- 31:33Speaker 4: Captain probably should have because he mentioned the twenty percent
- 31:36Speaker 4: off discount code. By the way, drama. Your twenty percent
- 31:41Speaker 4: off is drama. Blink at him.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Put in drama and the in the feedback pot and
- 31:50Speaker 3: they'll give you twenty percent off.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Go to the owner's boat page and when you check out,
- 31:56Speaker 4: he's going to be a promo code blocks thing. You're
- 31:59Speaker 4: get mean Droma and then it's gonna ask you how
- 32:02Speaker 4: did you hear about this Shada and you can say
- 32:06Speaker 4: Droma dling in. Aimy Phillips loves this Shota, especially this boat,
- 32:12Speaker 4: So that's why we went on. But we hit a problem,
- 32:15Speaker 4: and feel free to put your remarks there.
- 32:19Speaker 5: I did. I went.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I was liking, there's a part of me. When they
- 32:24Speaker 3: had that seventies party. This is the one thing I'll
- 32:27Speaker 3: say nice about Ron was that, like, you know that
- 32:30Speaker 3: TikTok video, the TikTok challenge where you ask your parents
- 32:34Speaker 3: to dance to the small Town Boys song by.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Like, no, I haven't seen that.
- 32:39Speaker 3: It's like and then and then the parents are always
- 32:42Speaker 3: like they're always like people that grew up in the eighties,
- 32:44Speaker 3: and you're like, no, like okay, and then they just
- 32:46Speaker 3: like as soon as the beat drops on that song,
- 32:48Speaker 3: they are like the greatest dancers from the eighties.
- 32:53Speaker 5: Look it up. It's so compelling.
- 32:55Speaker 4: And I'm like compelling, Oh yeah, those dads, Yeah he
- 33:00Speaker 4: is he did. He came alive. He was so serious
- 33:03Speaker 4: from you know, entering the dock, I mean entering the
- 33:06Speaker 4: boat from the dock ye until they you know, especially
- 33:10Speaker 4: finding out that they weren't gonna leave the dock, and
- 33:14Speaker 4: when they were sourcing the part, and then up until
- 33:19Speaker 4: that seventies party, I saw a smile and I was like, Wow,
- 33:22Speaker 4: we got some life in this old boy. You gotta
- 33:25Speaker 4: just got to get him at a disco. So I
- 33:27Speaker 4: was impressed.
- 33:28Speaker 5: I can't say he will be a good dancer across
- 33:30Speaker 5: the board.
- 33:31Speaker 3: It's just like he has he like his brain is
- 33:35Speaker 3: locked on a certain era that he can nail.
- 33:39Speaker 4: It's kind of like that body memory, your memory, your.
- 33:42Speaker 5: Body has memory.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yes, I don't know what it's still do the Roger Rabbit,
- 33:45Speaker 3: no problem.
- 33:48Speaker 5: To come back running man.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Egyptian Yeah, yeah, yeah, anything anything, but then beyond that,
- 33:56Speaker 4: anything from that era. Beyond that, it's a hard no.
- 34:00Speaker 5: But you're right.
- 34:01Speaker 4: And I liked how, you know, jazzed up they were
- 34:04Speaker 4: about it. And I think Ron said something where it
- 34:08Speaker 4: was like his version of saying like we're gonna let loose.
- 34:12Speaker 4: But I don't remember the words. I should have written
- 34:14Speaker 4: it down. It was something along the lines of yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 4: we're gonna we're gonna uh, instead of we're gonna get unhinged.
- 34:20Speaker 4: It was something like we're gonna really let loose. Something
- 34:24Speaker 4: you'd say then, but not now, you know.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Right right right, No.
- 34:29Speaker 3: It just it felt very It felt like edited in
- 34:34Speaker 3: after the fact that he was actually saying it in
- 34:36Speaker 3: the moment.
- 34:37Speaker 5: It felt like a.
- 34:39Speaker 3: A I would exclaim right now that it's a good time,
- 34:42Speaker 3: but he actually did it.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Why, I mean So these guys, they're on this show,
- 34:49Speaker 4: they're being filmed, and they're in the industry, and they're
- 34:53Speaker 4: gonna walk away and have their legacy on film be
- 34:58Speaker 4: that they leave a shitty ass tip for hardworking people.
- 35:02Speaker 3: As they are saying, how amazing over the top the
- 35:06Speaker 3: service was like, the one category that you use for
- 35:11Speaker 3: gratuity is above and beyond.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Right, Listen, you know it's you're rich. Okay, you are rich.
- 35:21Speaker 4: You're on this charter, And I honestly don't care at
- 35:24Speaker 4: this point whether or not that boat sunk. You should
- 35:29Speaker 4: still leave a good tip for the staff. Mummy's a
- 35:33Speaker 4: hard girl. It's ridiculous you can leave.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Appropriate tip.
- 35:45Speaker 4: It's disappointing. Absolutely. I would be so bummed if I
- 35:50Speaker 4: went on a charter we never left the top, but
- 35:54Speaker 4: you know what that happens, and I would imagine, yes,
- 35:59Speaker 4: whether I mean the fact that there was a part
- 36:01Speaker 4: you know that does suck, but like and he said,
- 36:03Speaker 4: we know we always shake everything before the day before
- 36:07Speaker 4: we lay the dilk. I mean, was he saying like
- 36:10Speaker 4: they didn't that day? No, were they saying they did?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Was still working.
- 36:16Speaker 5: When they when they were at the dock.
- 36:18Speaker 3: He was going through to start everything up, and that's
- 36:21Speaker 3: when that that's when failed. And I did get the
- 36:26Speaker 3: vibe that he could have gone out, but he just
- 36:29Speaker 3: couldn't take that risk.
- 36:30Speaker 5: And I'm like, I appreciate that.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's it's it's like a bird with
- 36:37Speaker 4: one wing. I mean, absolutely, you're going to cause some trouble.
- 36:41Speaker 3: You're gonna I wonder if that narrow what the gateway
- 36:46Speaker 3: to the sea, if that wasn't such a factor, if
- 36:50Speaker 3: maybe they would have been tugged out, you know, like
- 36:52Speaker 3: sometimes they do get like, I just think that that
- 36:58Speaker 3: entrance is so problem that they were like, we can't
- 37:01Speaker 3: take that risk.
- 37:02Speaker 4: It's so problematic that it's problematic. No, Brava had to
- 37:06Speaker 4: make a statement on behalf of that bridge. Did you see?
- 37:09Speaker 4: It was like black screen white writing. It was like
- 37:11Speaker 4: on behalf of Bravo TV and all of the staff here,
- 37:15Speaker 4: we apologize for the bridge in Saint Martin, the yachta,
- 37:19Speaker 4: the club a, whatever that is.
- 37:22Speaker 2: And we just wanted David the rest of the season
- 37:29Speaker 2: of Bravo.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Bravo by the way, Salt Lake City, they're going to
- 37:34Speaker 4: be on a boat. They're gonna be on with what's
- 37:37Speaker 4: his name from down Enda.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Oh, Captain Jason.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Yeah, they're going on a charter. We knew this because
- 37:45Speaker 4: we saw the trailer. They just showed it.
- 37:48Speaker 5: But we knew.
- 37:49Speaker 3: We talked about it because and she's on it. Oh yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 3: I totally forgot until you're saying this, but wow, but
- 38:00Speaker 3: you so.
- 38:01Speaker 4: You haven't seen the trailers this week? Then No, probably
- 38:05Speaker 4: because you haven't been watching others.
- 38:06Speaker 5: I'm like, Jack, I don't watch anything.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I don't blame you. Go back to rehab,
- 38:10Speaker 4: Emily whatever that was. No, Actually, because I've been watching
- 38:15Speaker 4: a lot of Bravo TV, like on the actual television set.
- 38:19Speaker 5: I've heard of it.
- 38:20Speaker 4: I don't know if you have, but boy do I
- 38:22Speaker 4: get down with some television. And so I've been seeing
- 38:28Speaker 4: the commercials and then they pop up here and there,
- 38:31Speaker 4: and like a lot happens on TV. I mean, Brittany
- 38:34Speaker 4: was like doing a commercial for Tom's. I think, oh.
- 38:40Speaker 5: Wow, yeah, I do. Oh.
- 38:41Speaker 3: That is the one thing that like when I have
- 38:45Speaker 3: to watch on Peacock, I do miss those Bravo celebrity commercials.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah, the worst one of all time is that Lisa Barlow.
- 38:53Speaker 5: What was the hair care one that she.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Ca THERMITI and it was like filmed on a camcorder
- 39:04Speaker 3: and like.
- 39:06Speaker 5: Dragoned what I mean, like the quality was I love?
- 39:12Speaker 4: Are you serious? It was really bad quality? Oh that's bad.
- 39:15Speaker 3: It was not it was so weird. It was like
- 39:17Speaker 3: just film it on an iPhone?
- 39:19Speaker 5: Like what is this?
- 39:20Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody else noticed that, but it
- 39:22Speaker 3: bothered me. It was like it it felt like ten
- 39:26Speaker 3: years old immediately.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Well maybe that was just stistic choice.
- 39:32Speaker 5: What it looked like. Kyle Scottish Kyle not.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Oh. I was like, are you kidding me? Right now?
- 39:38Speaker 4: What did I do to get dragon Storm?
- 39:43Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Kyle. Kyle goes back to the gym. I'm sorry.
- 39:47Speaker 4: I did not mean to all right, thank you man, Kyle.
- 39:54Speaker 4: That's why we got to call him Scottish or stealing Scottish.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure. There's too many Kyles.
- 40:01Speaker 4: There's too many? Yeah, well two, oh yeah, there's three,
- 40:07Speaker 4: oh my god, four because there was a Kyle from
- 40:10Speaker 4: below Dick down under, Kyle from never Neva Eva and
- 40:16Speaker 4: Kyle from Beverly Hills and what was the other one,
- 40:21Speaker 4: Oh Kyle from Summerhouse. So there's four yeah, yeah, wow,
- 40:25Speaker 4: too many? To what were what were we talking about anyway, now,
- 40:32Speaker 4: how are you. I'm so good, like so good, thanks, Chris.
- 40:41Speaker 4: I am so pretty, I am so fancy. I've got
- 40:46Speaker 4: my little boo boo for all the girls. I got
- 40:51Speaker 4: a little boo boo for Maddie.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 40:54Speaker 4: On the last day of school. That was her present.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, like the little keychain one.
- 41:02Speaker 5: Okay, well, I mean that's what everybody.
- 41:03Speaker 4: It's expensive. It was like fifty dollars, no shit, yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, but it was worth it. It was
- 41:10Speaker 4: worth it, like it was a very special day, like
- 41:13Speaker 4: she had just finished school. We were walking to the
- 41:17Speaker 4: school picnic, which was right next door to the school,
- 41:20Speaker 4: and she started crying because like it's over and she's
- 41:24Speaker 4: going to miss her class and her teacher. And I'm like, okay,
- 41:28Speaker 4: come on over here, and we like went and sat
- 41:29Speaker 4: down underneath this tree, and I was like, Okay, you
- 41:33Speaker 4: know what, it's it's nice that you're crying because that
- 41:36Speaker 4: shows what a great year you had and what an
- 41:38Speaker 4: amazing teacher and what a great experience, you know, And
- 41:40Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I know it's hard. And I gave her
- 41:43Speaker 4: some water, which is the immediate thing, the water thing,
- 41:46Speaker 4: you know, for everything.
- 41:48Speaker 5: It helps smart.
- 41:50Speaker 4: And then I was like, you know what, this is
- 41:52Speaker 4: the time. Typically I don't like, I'm not like, oh,
- 41:54Speaker 4: she's crying, I have to give her a present, Like
- 41:56Speaker 4: that's not how I roll through parenthood. But I was like,
- 42:00Speaker 4: now would be a good time because I had it
- 42:02Speaker 4: in my bag and I was like, you know what,
- 42:04Speaker 4: I was gonna give this to you later in the picnic,
- 42:06Speaker 4: but I'll give it to you now because it's it's
- 42:08Speaker 4: a good time. And I was like, look what and
- 42:10Speaker 4: she's like, oh mother, and like she gave me the
- 42:14Speaker 4: biggest hug and she was so happy, and.
- 42:17Speaker 3: You were like, these hold their values just like beanie babies, so.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Save it. Save that precious money one day.
- 42:28Speaker 4: And you know these little kids they are fierce because
- 42:31Speaker 4: like she told me that some kid on the playground
- 42:34Speaker 4: was like, can I see that for a second and
- 42:36Speaker 4: she was like okay, And then he like squished the
- 42:39Speaker 4: face to see to check if it was a fraudulent
- 42:43Speaker 4: la booboo. Because if the face squishes and it's not
- 42:46Speaker 4: hard in that one area of the face, like the
- 42:48Speaker 4: mouth that is creepy ass mouth, by the way, they're
- 42:51Speaker 4: very creepy looking. If it's not hard, then it's a fake.
- 42:55Speaker 4: It's like a knockoff, right, got it? And he's like, okay,
- 43:00Speaker 4: it's real, and I'm like, oh my god, how humiliating
- 43:02Speaker 4: if it wasn't you know.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I mean we all did that
- 43:06Speaker 3: ship with cabbage Patch kids.
- 43:08Speaker 5: Oh really?
- 43:08Speaker 4: Oh what was the was it?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Because the tattoos like they had there were fake ones
- 43:14Speaker 3: that had like weird noses that didn't look like regular
- 43:17Speaker 3: cabbage Patch kids. And then yeah, their bodies would be
- 43:21Speaker 3: like different or whatever.
- 43:22Speaker 5: But it was always like, it's a fake, that's file.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I had a fake cabbage Patch and I ended up
- 43:31Speaker 3: later getting a real one. But I actually it was
- 43:35Speaker 3: more attached to, like emotionally to the fake one. Yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 3: of course, but but I had to cut ties.
- 43:43Speaker 5: With it because you know, I couldn't handle the No.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to throw it out. We're just kidding. No,
- 43:52Speaker 4: It's intense and it still goes on, you know. I mean,
- 43:55Speaker 4: the housewives are effort after each other every day for
- 43:57Speaker 4: having fixed up, which I understand, what's the point. When
- 44:00Speaker 4: you're older, you just want it to be about labels,
- 44:02Speaker 4: But when you're kids, it's just tough. It's like, wow,
- 44:05Speaker 4: it's just doggy dog, right, you know in second third grade? Wow,
- 44:09Speaker 4: it's kids any who say you can't get out of
- 44:14Speaker 4: the dock. And we're sourcing a part. And it's a
- 44:18Speaker 4: storeboard Engine problem. And it's the wing station control of
- 44:22Speaker 4: its bead and uh so.
- 44:25Speaker 3: The storms problem, it's a storm'spador problem.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Apparently I can't even do the Australian accent for some reason.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Apparently Starboard Engine was recording sheening at the reunion and
- 44:42Speaker 4: because she was talking on speakerphone and now the wash
- 44:45Speaker 4: is now working, akay, maybe.
- 44:53Speaker 5: I'll be.
- 44:58Speaker 3: And then she said she takes a sure have a
- 45:01Speaker 3: nice day like she did with John Jansen.
- 45:05Speaker 4: The invoice, enjoy the percent tip after we didn't leave
- 45:13Speaker 4: the doc and I have been nothing but kind to you,
- 45:17Speaker 4: nothing to shake David, nothing but kind to you. Saint David,
- 45:21Speaker 4: Saint David, Saint David. Are you but divorced yet? Are
- 45:27Speaker 4: you but divorced yet? I did love the guests. The
- 45:35Speaker 4: vegan guest was like, I love this rice and I'm vegan,
- 45:39Speaker 4: and I was like, what the hell is this rice?
- 45:42Speaker 4: I was impressed. Chef Anthony did a great job. He
- 45:45Speaker 4: had to make those three different huge meals like the
- 45:49Speaker 4: beef Wellington, the vegan milanaise, and the fish lobster tail roystertail. Yes,
- 45:58Speaker 4: that was that was difficult, and that was just three people.
- 46:01Speaker 4: None nobody else got dishes.
- 46:03Speaker 3: No, so split it up amongst yourself, Like what's her faces? Uh,
- 46:11Speaker 3: Brittany's event in Atlanta this season where she was like,
- 46:15Speaker 3: we're just serving three males to the housewives everybody.
- 46:21Speaker 4: That's it. We're cut off. That's all we can do. Yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Captain's like, Anthony, you did a great job with the
- 46:29Speaker 4: food on next time. Could you include everybody? It's a
- 46:33Speaker 4: title and give him a plight? Oh, everybody hates me.
- 46:38Speaker 4: I'm employee of staff through a towel.
- 46:44Speaker 3: I also got to give him credit because everything had
- 46:46Speaker 3: its own look like in so I think his brain
- 46:51Speaker 3: is just processing constantly and it just like everything looks so.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Good, so unique, so different.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yeshmeal had depending on it's you know, dietary need had
- 47:02Speaker 3: its own concept.
- 47:04Speaker 5: I don't know. It just was very impressive.
- 47:06Speaker 4: He was and I know that Ron loved that Wellington
- 47:09Speaker 4: because it was straight out of the seventies. Baby, I
- 47:13Speaker 4: was it's a seventies meal, which is kind of coming
- 47:16Speaker 4: back around. But oh, my god, the morning one of
- 47:21Speaker 4: the mornings, probably I think the last morning, Chef Anthony
- 47:24Speaker 4: made this French toast. Did you lock eyes on that
- 47:28Speaker 4: by any chance? I don't know if it's it was
- 47:29Speaker 4: a fast okay, it's fast, but it really stood out
- 47:33Speaker 4: to me because it's my type of French toast that
- 47:35Speaker 4: I would love. So first of all, it was crust
- 47:39Speaker 4: lists which I've not seen that, and I know that, like,
- 47:43Speaker 4: I'm not against crust, but it looked extra appetizing with
- 47:48Speaker 4: no crust. It wasn't overdone. It was very lightly you know,
- 47:53Speaker 4: sauteed if you will, and it was just the sprinkling
- 47:57Speaker 4: of the powdered sugar. It looked right up mama's alley
- 48:01Speaker 4: right up.
- 48:01Speaker 5: I didn't see it.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Well, mummy's a hard girl. Mummy loves the French toast.
- 48:11Speaker 4: He was trying to do that poached egg that morning
- 48:13Speaker 4: and it was like not working out, you know.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:17Speaker 3: That was confusing to me because I think, like, how
- 48:21Speaker 3: that's just that's brainless, Like I don't understand what's going on.
- 48:25Speaker 5: Then I was like, maybe there's something wrong.
- 48:27Speaker 4: With the eggs hmmm, well, or the water.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Maybe wasn't ready enough.
- 48:32Speaker 4: I guess, Okay, So you were processing that situation too,
- 48:36Speaker 4: because I was really giving a lot of thought to it, okay,
- 48:38Speaker 4: because I was like, all right, so let's break down
- 48:41Speaker 4: the poached egg situation. They are so hard to do, okay,
- 48:45Speaker 4: And I really love poached eggs, but I don't make
- 48:47Speaker 4: them a lot, almost never, because they're so difficult. I
- 48:50Speaker 4: have made them before, but it's like once you've made two,
- 48:54Speaker 4: it's like I don't want to get back into that
- 48:56Speaker 4: water because it's like already done and there's already particles
- 48:59Speaker 4: in there, and and like I don't like you got
- 49:02Speaker 4: to put some of this a little bit of white
- 49:03Speaker 4: vinegar so that it doesn't get all blah blah blah
- 49:07Speaker 4: and like getting the swirl going. Isn't there a better
- 49:10Speaker 4: way for chefs to do it other than that.
- 49:13Speaker 5: I have a poached egg pan?
- 49:15Speaker 4: Okay?
- 49:16Speaker 5: So I do.
- 49:18Speaker 3: So they have like little like it's almost like, I mean,
- 49:22Speaker 3: it's almost like a muffin tray that you put in
- 49:24Speaker 3: the water. And so you have like little little like
- 49:28Speaker 3: cups that hold the eggs and you put the vinegar
- 49:30Speaker 3: in that and then you just put it in the
- 49:32Speaker 3: water and then you're gonna get yourself nine times out
- 49:35Speaker 3: of ten, exactly what you want?
- 49:37Speaker 4: Really? Yeah, why haven't And I gotten one of the
- 49:41Speaker 4: I'm gonna get that.
- 49:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it's it's like I don't even know what it's called.
- 49:46Speaker 5: I think I got it as a.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Special buy one week at all the real big on
- 49:50Speaker 3: them special bite.
- 49:52Speaker 4: Talk to me about the special bye you are I
- 49:59Speaker 4: never go to all No, I never go there.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Okay, well let me tell you what every every like Wednesday,
- 50:08Speaker 3: the special gosh, I haven't looked in a minute, not
- 50:12Speaker 3: an ad. Yeah, and they will tell you what the
- 50:18Speaker 3: special addys are going to be for the following week,
- 50:20Speaker 3: and then you get yourself over to all day when
- 50:22Speaker 3: those drop the following week. But it's always so random.
- 50:27Speaker 3: It is the most random ship. Like I saw a
- 50:29Speaker 3: meme that's like got a tent a trumpet and like
- 50:33Speaker 3: my bread the other day at all.
- 50:34Speaker 5: It's like the craziest stuff.
- 50:36Speaker 4: Well, a poach poaching device or vessel is very random.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's the it's the center aisle from front
- 50:44Speaker 3: to end, and it is.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Gonna be like front to end, the whole aisle. Yeah,
- 50:50Speaker 4: but yeah, that's impressed.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, So I mean it can be sheets.
- 50:56Speaker 5: It might be sneakers. It could be like.
- 50:58Speaker 4: Some sneakers and sheet. I thought it was a grocery
- 51:01Speaker 4: store exactly, Amy Phillips egg exactly. So they just pop
- 51:08Speaker 4: up for that special by section.
- 51:10Speaker 5: Yeah, they order. I got, uh, that's where I got
- 51:13Speaker 5: my beach wagon.
- 51:15Speaker 4: I've got that's a good one. Wow, you can get
- 51:19Speaker 4: a greenhouse. Alright. This is out of control. This is
- 51:26Speaker 4: all right, this is enough. That's too big.
- 51:29Speaker 5: Sometimes, I mean, like that's what we're talking about.
- 51:32Speaker 3: We're talking about the most wild ship is going to
- 51:36Speaker 3: be in that Audie special.
- 51:37Speaker 6: Buy Wow, curtains and curtains, cuffs, Oh my gosh, absolutely
- 51:45Speaker 6: all the Housewives products are in there popping out now.
- 51:48Speaker 4: That would be amazing. Okay, Barbara and Solaine talk and
- 51:54Speaker 4: Barbara apologizes to her for having just for sleeping in
- 51:59Speaker 4: the bed together with Selene upstairs, meaning yeah, that was nice.
- 52:05Speaker 4: And you know Selene is really she's taken one on
- 52:08Speaker 4: the on the shin with all these you know, these
- 52:12Speaker 4: ex lovers of hers. But I guess you so you
- 52:15Speaker 4: reput yourself.
- 52:17Speaker 5: Yes, you reach reap what you stolen.
- 52:20Speaker 4: And h wow, wow wow. That Sunset cruise looked like
- 52:26Speaker 4: a hit and I love that they see that was great.
- 52:30Speaker 4: I mean, and they went snorkeling too. The gal got
- 52:35Speaker 4: to jump in the water with their wedding dress. Is
- 52:38Speaker 4: there something I missed about the significance of that? Was
- 52:40Speaker 4: that something that they did at their original wedding?
- 52:43Speaker 3: There was something about that. It sounded like, yes, okay,
- 52:47Speaker 3: it was either something they wanted to recreate or had
- 52:50Speaker 3: wanted to do at the time and didn't get a
- 52:52Speaker 3: chance to do it.
- 52:53Speaker 5: I wasn't totally sure.
- 52:55Speaker 4: You mean they didn't get a chance at their actual wedding.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't get it. That makes it.
- 53:00Speaker 4: I think bad luck follows them all right now. If
- 53:03Speaker 4: they weren't able to execute that, then some bad juju's
- 53:07Speaker 4: going on with them, you know what I mean?
- 53:09Speaker 5: We create was said. So then I was like, well,
- 53:12Speaker 5: so they did that, so that might make more sense.
- 53:15Speaker 5: But I I leave with a lot of questions.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Sure, but not the answers are not that important and I'm.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Okay, so they're not worth going back and listening again.
- 53:26Speaker 4: And if anyone is gonna DM me about it, don't bother.
- 53:29Speaker 4: You know, I can move on with my life.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Think about like, if it had thunderstormed and rained, they
- 53:35Speaker 3: got a fucking great charter compared to if this, if
- 53:39Speaker 3: there were storms, like they were still able to get
- 53:41Speaker 3: out in the water. Do their pictures have a gorgeous
- 53:45Speaker 3: sunset like they did so much if it had been
- 53:48Speaker 3: storms and they now.
- 53:51Speaker 4: Would the door would have been closed if there were storms?
- 53:55Speaker 4: Would they have left a shitty tip too.
- 53:58Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying, Like, that's what I mean.
- 54:00Speaker 4: And like, I what do you think would they have no,
- 54:03Speaker 4: because that's an act of God?
- 54:06Speaker 3: Yeah, they they would have been like, hey man, we're
- 54:08Speaker 3: adventurers and that just happens.
- 54:10Speaker 4: It just happens. They would lean into it.
- 54:12Speaker 5: Yeah, but this instead, And I get it. I get
- 54:17Speaker 5: why they're pissed. But yeah, so like you had a
- 54:20Speaker 5: pretty good time on the backs of these workers that.
- 54:24Speaker 4: You want him? Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, all right, Well,
- 54:32Speaker 4: I like Hugo was good about the trash, even though
- 54:36Speaker 4: he didn't really he didn't tell anyone to go get
- 54:39Speaker 4: Chef Anthony's trash. He just was like, okay, cheetos, pretzels,
- 54:44Speaker 4: cheetos really like, and then like, no one's putting up
- 54:50Speaker 4: with Chef Anthony's ship in this episode. He wasn't, Dumbo
- 54:53Speaker 4: wasn't and Rainbow wasn't They were like.
- 54:56Speaker 5: You lost everybody after the cast trip.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Yes, he did, Emily, you're right, that was a turning point. Absolutely. Yeah.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Did you notice that Captain Carry kept delivering bad news
- 55:09Speaker 3: to the client with a cup of coffee.
- 55:13Speaker 5: Every time? And it was a different cup of coffee,
- 55:17Speaker 5: different mug.
- 55:18Speaker 4: You're so right. I clock that, but you're so right.
- 55:21Speaker 4: One was white and it was insulated. I noticed that.
- 55:24Speaker 4: But he's so smart to do that, inspire you would
- 55:29Speaker 4: notice because you are China. Yeah, I got some bad
- 55:34Speaker 4: news and I'm going to try to make it casual
- 55:37Speaker 4: by holding this cup of coffee. That's what it is.
- 55:39Speaker 4: I think it's like I don't know what to do
- 55:41Speaker 4: with my hands. I don't want to come in and
- 55:43Speaker 4: look like, you know the right, it's definitely for sure. Yeah,
- 55:50Speaker 4: that's a good strategy.
- 55:53Speaker 5: That's really good, Amy, that's right.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Thank you, Emily. Yeah, let's hold our cups the whole episode. Yeah.
- 56:02Speaker 5: I got to let you know I did see Brett
- 56:05Speaker 5: on a date this week.
- 56:07Speaker 4: Uh huh huh, Okay.
- 56:10Speaker 5: So I just wanted to let you know.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Am I gonna get a discount on my mortgage this
- 56:16Speaker 4: month because of that?
- 56:18Speaker 5: Or make those decisions.
- 56:21Speaker 4: I just wanted you now or like after we separate.
- 56:25Speaker 5: Yeah, not up to me.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Yeah, okay. It's like very office space. It's like, yeah, Peter,
- 56:32Speaker 4: we're gonna need you to come in and on Sunday.
- 56:36Speaker 4: It's very office space. And then he's like, the guests
- 56:41Speaker 4: are like, hey, you should join us for dinner. Last minute.
- 56:44Speaker 4: He's like, I do you know I was invited? Because
- 56:48Speaker 4: now wanti mate? So I was just wearing these crisp
- 56:53Speaker 4: white shit for my own fucking love of him, for
- 56:57Speaker 4: looking good.
- 56:58Speaker 5: You know, not tucked in either.

- 57:17Speaker 3: I did notice that they don't seem to have Supercop
- 57:20Speaker 3: sunscreen as a sponsor anymore, because that was in baskets
- 57:23Speaker 3: all over the place in Pry like the last couple
- 57:26Speaker 3: of seasons, and then this season or this past episode
- 57:30Speaker 3: when they were having that tip conversation, they were standing
- 57:33Speaker 3: in front of a basket of copper.

- 58:56Speaker 3: running well, and it's no on him.
- 59:00Speaker 5: It's his position.
