- 0:34Welcome back everybody, this is episode 13.
- 0:39Hey guys were teenagers now. How's it going?
- 0:44Bill. Oh, it's going.
- 0:46Well, both the grandsons this weekend at had to have my
- 0:52dropped day. Off is like, yeah.
- 0:54Nothing to be better. I mean, Life's good.
- 0:58Nice, Mike. How was how was your past week
- 1:01been? My past week was, okay, I got
- 1:09through the, we got through the survey without any, without any
- 1:14major problems. I had to work my drop thing
- 1:17again. And so today, we play only day
- 1:20off this week and I thoroughly enjoyed it by not doing nothing.
- 1:29That's always good days. Good days when you don't have to
- 1:32do anything. Josh is going to be joining us a
- 1:35little later today. So my week wasn't too bad.
- 1:38No major issues on the wrecks and just stuff in the office.
- 1:41So the normal work, my Ox route and assist the other RCA.
- 1:46Yeah, and then I had Friday and Saturday off for my state spring
- 1:51booster. So I left Thursday night, and
- 1:54drove the three hours down to Ann Arbor.
- 1:57It's but the week of their got home about 3:00 this afternoon,
- 2:01Sophia a little tired. So one big state like your do
- 2:10they tried to rotate the booster meetings and Convention sites
- 2:15but we have free District theater in Camp?
- 2:18Yes. Yeah.
- 2:19They try to rotate the convention sites and booster
- 2:25site Etc. So they do that in your state to
- 2:29yes, our State Convention actually, this year is going to
- 2:34be up in the up' up into Free of the Queen Casino. last year's
- 2:43State Convention was in Pontiac and then fall booster, there was
- 2:51fall booster at Oh, that was an Bel Air.
- 2:56So that was sort of my neck of the woods.
- 2:58It's up North but on the west side it Shanty Creek.
- 3:01And then this weekend we were in Ann Arbor and the next booster
- 3:06in the fall we will be in Traverse City.
- 3:09So yeah, we rotate, we've done Battle Creek.
- 3:12We've done, I know we've had State Convention at MSU in East
- 3:18Lansing. Yeah, we rotate pretty pretty
- 3:22decently. And we have made them to have
- 3:25and we're hosting mid states next year and that will be in
- 3:28Muskegon along Lake Michigan. Well we're going to have
- 3:34statement is going to be at the same location as the database
- 3:39data which we did that in 2018. When we hosted a national we had
- 3:45State Convention also and the ammo and DeVos and yeah, it was
- 3:52a little costly. Is State Convention.
- 4:01Yeah, I know, and they're always looking for new places to go.
- 4:04So I did attend the state board meeting Friday morning Friday,
- 4:10all day. I should say started at 8 and we
- 4:12got down at 6 p.m. So yeah, but tossing ideas out
- 4:20of another other locations and, and whatnot for down the road.
- 4:28Yeah, so yeah, it was interesting at times.
- 4:33Your beds value. We only do it once a year with
- 4:35the State Convention and you know, it's typically three days
- 4:38long. So yeah, it's he you go through
- 4:46the same thing as you do with the national.
- 4:48You know you get your little Duty's done that up and out of
- 4:53the way you know your speakers and all the first day.
- 4:56Yeah and usually it's a waste, I really Listen to The Joy again.
- 5:04Yeah but what the thing of it is that you know, there are, you
- 5:11know, some good things hell of it but in general, it's more of
- 5:16just the same politics. You know, there's the same geeky
- 5:20kids hanging out with the their friends and you know the Nerds
- 5:23are over there and you know the populace those over there.
- 5:28Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:30I remember one year we went and Let me out where this one group
- 5:34of people had a table reserved for dinner, and they had one
- 5:38chair open, so I want to rehearse at there and they said,
- 5:42well, what are you doing? This is yours open, isn't it?
- 5:44It's yeah, I paid for a ticket right, right?
- 5:47Okay, I'm sitting here. I'll tell you what, I'll tell
- 5:50you what that table was so quiet because they didn't want to say
- 5:53nothing in front of me and I just sat there smiled.
- 5:59Hi, how are you doing? Good.
- 6:01Oh, looks good. Just listen to all of our
- 6:04wonderful, thank you. But they couldn't sit there.
- 6:08Compare your normal smack? Yeah, yeah, I know how that
- 6:12goes. I I've been in those situations
- 6:14before to you're like, oh, I'll come sit with you.
- 6:19Yeah, yeah we. So we had our banquet last night
- 6:24and we played Pac, bingo. I won 50 bucks on the second
- 6:29game, whoo-hoo. But yeah, then I was making
- 6:35plans. I was talking to one of the
- 6:37other least, the one that walked around with that caucus with me
- 6:40at National Vanessa, she her and I may complain.
- 6:44So Stellar I said I think Reno next year I'm going to fly,
- 6:48she's like yeah. I said yeah I just thought
- 6:50that's kind of a bug called driving out there by myself
- 6:52think I'm going to fly and I'll just run a car.
- 6:55She goes I'll split it with the rental car.
- 6:57I said, okay. And she's like well what airport
- 7:00do you normally fly out of I said I prefer Grand Rapids.
- 7:03She's like me to she doesn't have it would get on the same
- 7:06flight. So I said all right we can do
- 7:07that. I said do you want a room
- 7:09together to I were making plans. She's like yeah that'll work.
- 7:12My husband's not going we can do that.
- 7:15I said all right and the couple of them turn around.
- 7:17Look at him. You're already making plans for
- 7:19next year. Yeah, damn, straight Skippy.
- 7:26I did have somebody come up and asked me if I was going to
- 7:30surprise everybody again this year at National.
- 7:36Okay, what my sleeping with Josh?
- 7:41God, no, my running for office again.
- 7:44Oh no, I'm not sharing a room with Josh.
- 7:48This year. I already have my roommate.
- 7:50So Hey Mike you got a bumpy then no I mean it
- 8:16but I just don't feel like having to drive back and forth
- 8:19every day. So no no no.
- 8:22The ex-in-laws are 30 minutes away.
- 8:26I really, I could, but at the same time, like, no, I'd rather
- 8:28stay on property remembered as wides, wise words of wisdom,
- 8:34okay? It is better to stagger to your
- 8:37room then the drive drunk? Yes, absolutely.
- 8:43Words I live by I mean somebody lives by yes.
- 8:45Flip like you know that I am so nice I get reimbursed since I
- 9:03was didn't get update upgraded to delegate it national.
- 9:08I was still in the alternate list, they take the top 10
- 9:10alternates that didn't upgrade. Grade and then pay them to go to
- 9:14mid states if they're going. So no, I have a dilemma from
- 9:19myself. Yeah.
- 9:22I, I wasn't planning to attend our state convention, Then I got
- 9:28a voicemail from our state president asking me to be on a
- 9:33committee now. Okay.
- 9:37Yeah no problem. I can do a committee of no
- 9:39problem. We are you do the mileage and
- 9:41per diem and you know all those other things and you know
- 9:44whatever they want. Okay.
- 9:47Now They don't like me, but they know I can do the job, so they
- 9:56invite me. Well, now for the now, are they
- 10:01inviting me? Because I can do the job that
- 10:03they want, you know, they sign me or is it because we don't
- 10:07have enough people stepping up that they can choose to do the
- 10:11job, pretty much? Or is it both?
- 10:15Or is it both? I would say it's probably a
- 10:17little bit of both. Yeah, I do know that the board
- 10:22agreed that there will be no National candidates being able
- 10:26to speak at convention, so yeah, it'll be I don't know, you know,
- 10:36this booster was okay, we had a Postal Inspector there as one of
- 10:40the speakers, and we had an EAP rep speaking, and then it was
- 10:46mostly the stewards and putting on their little Plays and what
- 10:51not? I love I love the, the skits
- 10:57that like you know, at our State Convention, the kids put the
- 11:00skits on and I'll tell you what it's like it.
- 11:05Watching the what do you call those little orphans?
- 11:10A little rascal little wrapped around a little orphans little
- 11:14rascal you know. Yeah.
- 11:17How choppy and everything they were and we recite their lines
- 11:20Alfalfa standing there. Reading it like he's Abraham.
- 11:23And it's like oh my God you know it's cute but it's like oh my
- 11:29God please stop this. Yeah, it was Yeah, then we had a
- 11:35two-hour Q, Steward Q&A session this morning.
- 11:39So that was really oh we played a game of last time.
- 11:43They tried to play a game of Family Feud between the two
- 11:46districts and yeah. So this time it was a Jeopardy
- 11:53between the two districts and my District 1 but yeah and the
- 12:01first question first question for 2:00.
- 12:04Who are the dumbest people you know.
- 12:07Yeah. Alex, what our postal management
- 12:12incorrect? Most of them were most of them
- 12:17are true faults except for the Potpourri but most of them were
- 12:23true faults in the best. The best ones were the ones that
- 12:26I read online. Oh God, or my manager?
- 12:34jerr says, yeah, I'd like to hear the that have, that kind of
- 12:45question there for the entire country and it would use the
- 12:49question would be, how many days can an RCA work before they half
- 12:54to take off? Because in our area, it's eight
- 12:59across the country. I heard 10, 12 and 14. 365.
- 13:06I haven't found it in the contract yet.
- 13:08So yeah, I'm still looking at that was in there too.
- 13:12That was one of them. The contract says yeah.
- 13:15Yeah. I'd like our district manager,
- 13:19the Little Hitler that we have. He wants to start pulling
- 13:22peoples casing equipment away from them because of the fact
- 13:25that not all were using single spaces and they were talking
- 13:31about doing it last week, I said, hold it.
- 13:33You going to do Middle of a mini mail survey, when you don't know
- 13:36what the routes evaluations going to be, you don't know
- 13:39who's going to need what equipment.
- 13:41But you want to do this right now?
- 13:43I said, I don't think so. Whoa, if we want to we will I
- 13:47said start with mine. Why Isis?
- 13:52Because the fight will be over real quick.
- 13:56Yeah I mean you got to be kidding me.
- 13:59Did I get 600 and what 31 addresses and you're going to
- 14:04pull my half Wing off me the only place I have double slots
- 14:09are on each end of each row and just make it easy on to make it
- 14:13easier to get the stuff in on the end pieces.
- 14:17All over wrote, sir. Double the two addresses
- 14:25Personnel. All will mix the woofer one or
- 14:28two? Yeah.
- 14:31Our POV wrote, the big 48k, but even that she's got a few
- 14:36addresses that are double, but not a lot.
- 14:39And one of the 42 Jays everybody else's, and I hate, I hate case
- 14:45in that way, but now I've had to adapt.
- 14:49I learned on single cell addresses.
- 14:51And yeah, then you have to adapt.
- 14:58I don't adapt easily. So I just fight, you know, I'm
- 15:03still an RCA Force least, 67, War months, so I still have to
- 15:07adapt. Bill I heard under the phrase
- 15:12dictionary. Can't teach an old dog, new
- 15:15tricks that your picture is there.
- 15:21Well, it should be unless it contains firearms.
- 15:26I was going to say something more of a 18 and over version,
- 15:31but Firearms works too. Works for me.
- 15:43What can I say? I'm just a sucker for gunpowder.
- 15:55We discuss this weekend. Nothing's going to other than,
- 16:03you know, don't blame the union because we don't know what's
- 16:05going to happen with the Rex evaluations.
- 16:07Either that's been big speech. I know you guys have probably
- 16:11seen the photos up in my state newsletter this month.
- 16:16I just got and it's got all, you know, the pictures of all that.
- 16:19I've seen a couple of them. Yeah, that was Michigan's
- 16:22newsletter. Don't blame the union.
- 16:29Okay, no, no, because they're not the ones who agreed to this
- 16:33mess. Are they?
- 16:35Yeah. So yeah, yeah, I don't blame the
- 16:41union that, you know, you're getting post off the rule in
- 16:44frenette about things that you should have known a while ago.
- 16:48Yeah, that's that's the thing that I have a problem with is
- 16:55And maybe maybe pollen to bring that up at these Regional
- 16:59conferences. Now, instead of just going with
- 17:03mailbox Monday, why? Use your social media manager to
- 17:09post information that the carriers can use and not just
- 17:15but they get but they can't hide it behind the password doing
- 17:18that. Unless they put up the link only
- 17:20for it, which is what I've seen them do but they only do it as a
- 17:25story. So it only lasts 24 to 36 hours.
- 17:29Hmm. And then they shot comedy.
- 17:34Well, your once I saw this, this boasting that, you know, came
- 17:38off a rule internet's Facebook page.
- 17:41Yeah, I had to go back into ours, what's new to look up?
- 17:44What, you know, the safety talks and him again.
- 17:49It didn't give you much. Let's see what we got.
- 17:56What we got, but we got what we got.
- 17:59We got a little paragraph. And all it says, that the at are
- 18:05all CA has been notified unless a half the offices have credit
- 18:08for safety. Service talks entered into the
- 18:10room system, the national rural letter carriers Association
- 18:14submitted a proposal to cover the shortage.
- 18:16And it was not accepted The USPS unilaterally decides to have the
- 18:21safety service time built into the MMS survey, under
- 18:26miscellaneous time with nobody in our office as far as
- 18:30management. What's concerned had any idea?
- 18:34They thought they had to explain service and safety talks.
- 18:38I'm just sitting there going okay, you know, this is right
- 18:45from the United States Postal Service and you don't even know
- 18:48about it and you've been trained certified trained in the Rex
- 18:52program. So they're looking into above
- 18:55our unions, looking into the options, they have on this
- 18:58issue. But in the meantime, all
- 19:00carriers should ensure that you receive normal talks and there
- 19:03including them in email survey until This dispute is resolved.
- 19:06Additionally, make sure re their recording all talks, an RMF are
- 19:10MSS from now on. You know, we can't even get them
- 19:17to verify the Daily Mail volumes.
- 19:20Let alone safety and service Paul.
- 19:23Yep. Folks a to tell you about, you
- 19:27know we don't have the smartest cards in the deck.
- 19:35Not by a long shot. And it's just, it's just scary.
- 19:41Yeah. God, help us.
- 19:53There, we just died on me. No, I'm just going over my my
- 19:57nose. Yeah.
- 20:03I mean you know in reality I mean it really is scary that you
- 20:09know oh, we've certified people and training and yet they don't
- 20:14know what the miscellaneous areas for, you know, they going
- 20:17to fight you over, don't fight the carrier's, give them, you
- 20:20know, give it to him. It's not going to make that big
- 20:22a difference. It's only six percent and they
- 20:25fought us on everything every damn thing.
- 20:29Now as soon as the 25th comes around this month, one of our
- 20:33Carriers is going to be just dropping the prison mail at his
- 20:36case and any parcels and anything.
- 20:38He's not going to scan them because, you know, they wouldn't
- 20:40give him credit to walk it back to the firm area.
- 20:43Where's the correction officer? Picks up the mail every day.
- 20:47Yeah, you're not gonna pay me to do it.
- 20:50I'm not doing it. If you have a service failure,
- 20:53it's not on me because you told me it's not mine.
- 20:58The you gotta keep me credit for it and the DPS count.
- 21:01I'll take it. Because it's long as I handle
- 21:04that mail, and one way or another, I get the credit for
- 21:07it. But don't fight the carrier's on
- 21:14the everything because it's only six percent.
- 21:17So yeah, I don't understand where the confusion was.
- 21:22It wasn't English. It was plain English, it was
- 21:24clear as day. But yet, there you go.
- 21:28You have the same mentality from years ago.
- 21:31Even though almost every one of our supervisors has never been
- 21:35through a normal male count. As we knew it in the past.
- 21:38Yeah. Yeah.
- 21:41And the carriers that have can't get out of that mindset or could
- 21:44don't have that mindset. Well, that was obvious through
- 21:49most of the Facebook comments. I saw.
- 21:51Oh, yeah. How to count.
- 21:54You know, we don't have to do this anymore.
- 22:00Yeah, it's like the markups. Okay.
- 22:03You know, we're the markups go. Well, they're factored in.
- 22:06Okay, this is factored in okay. What if we Rosario time for, you
- 22:10know, doing our pre trip inspection on the government
- 22:13vehicles? Well, that's already factored
- 22:15in. Like the old count.
- 22:18There's so many things that are factored in, and you're sitting
- 22:20there going, where, where the hell are the factor?
- 22:24Did you show me where your factored in?
- 22:28But, yeah, don't worry, we trust them.
- 22:32I mean the post office wouldn't do anything shady, would they
- 22:37No, never. Okay, thank you.
- 22:40I hate you stun. They can do no wrong.
- 22:48Yeah, I'll work at the plant. I heard yesterday was quite
- 22:55heavy for some people. Well we'll find out tomorrow
- 23:01especially you know, if you know pulling eight trays of DPS and
- 23:06oh I know 183 Parcels, you know. Yeah.
- 23:35Because the DPS was not good during the whole two weeks.
- 23:41You know, what did I just figure out?
- 23:45I figured I averaged 150, upside-down letters a day for
- 23:51the whole survey, you know. Well, you know, supposed to be
- 23:56business as usual and for some areas it was, well, you know, I
- 24:04got Yeah, I love the people's will box holders aren't
- 24:08included. That's no, they're not.
- 24:10You entered that in the scanner all year round.
- 24:16I had the I had the argument with the with the gal who is
- 24:20like on on authorized Dismount I said that for any authorized
- 24:24discounts those know. It's only for businesses in
- 24:27schools, you need to review your paperwork.
- 24:31Should I like so I agree shot of the scan guides or the one-page
- 24:38quick reference guide and and you know, cut this prompted down
- 24:44to the authorized this mountain. I said it says typically its
- 24:47businesses in school, you mean this paperwork, it says
- 24:51typically businesses and schools don't they only businesses in
- 24:55school, you're right. The arguing over that.
- 25:02Something about that. Now, still, now after we've been
- 25:06supposed to be doing this for a year, you know, it's yeah, we're
- 25:14better better yet. You say, typically businesses in
- 25:17schools and say, well, how do I service the the CPUs that are 10
- 25:23feet off the curb, you know? Yeah.
- 25:25Yeah. I do have to get out at least
- 25:29unlock it? Yeah, I can throw I can throw
- 25:32the mail from the truck but I have to get out of a locked,
- 25:36although we didn't have it. Ooh, I can actually serve as
- 25:54from the vehicle on the one route but I just I have 12 that
- 26:00I can there the old drive up style, but the rest of them
- 26:04they're measured, I get, you know, two foot to foot had a
- 26:08poopy today on them. And you know, and some of them I
- 26:13know pretty much every time I served, I do them as well.
- 26:16This is going to be this one's going to be two trips today.
- 26:20This one's going to be three, maybe four just the pigs because
- 26:23there they get. Lots of little Parcels that it's
- 26:26like The and and big parcel to. So it's like well you know, is
- 26:33it going to? Can I get all the parcels, the
- 26:35parcel Locker ones, and the mailbox ones.
- 26:37And one trip, we're going to have to make two trips and then
- 26:39a trip for the mail, you know, Well i-i've got one the top you
- 26:47there. My kid.
- 26:47Okay. Then this gives along the lines
- 26:49of a Josh. We had a new RCA.
- 26:58Decide that after training when she was a take the, you know,
- 27:02half the route out and she's getting this one cluster box
- 27:05unit, that it would be better to come from the other side of the
- 27:09street, and drive up onto the walkway area, where to see be
- 27:14used. For some reason, the Builder put
- 27:17a, an abutment out into the street at the CBU units and
- 27:21nobody could park directly in front of it, including the
- 27:24postal worker. Okay?
- 27:26And you know, it Is like four boxes and also it was it was 15
- 27:3116 feet long, but it was part of it was part of the sidewalk and
- 27:35it was raised up, you know, 10 inches, she decided to drive up
- 27:38on air. She only made it halfway, but
- 27:41she made the attempt because yellow, these a little low for a
- 27:4610 inch clearance on there and you know taking that phone call.
- 27:52I'm telling you somebody had to pee themselves.
- 27:56Yeah I mean You know, God, help me.
- 27:58If I'd have gotten that, I've been out there with a phone,
- 28:01take a picture saying, oh, man, but unfortunately, it wasn't me.
- 28:08So you just you just can't believe some of these things
- 28:16that people are doing, you know, out there.
- 28:19Yeah, yeah. Surprises me anymore.
- 28:29Yeah, it's good. It's good.
- 28:31Yeah, I really should, but really you sitting there say,
- 28:38you can't make this stuff up. No, you cannot help make this
- 28:42happen, you know, that. That's what that's why I always
- 28:47teach people about Jerry. Springer won't come to West
- 28:49Chester because he keeps hanging up on me.
- 28:52When I tell them what's going on, what are you talking about?
- 28:56I said, you know, he tells Me. I'm a liar.
- 28:58I'm visualizing this. He says, don't you have a
- 29:01postmaster knocking up a clerk or something?
- 29:03Something really interesting and true and I said, no, they'll
- 29:06tell you the truth that he called me a liar and hangs up.
- 29:11Yeah. It's just idiots.
- 29:24You just can't believe some of the stuff that happens on the
- 29:28first five or ten years of my career, the post office, you
- 29:32know people would you know talk to me and I would say, you know,
- 29:35say oh this happened at and they look at you like you know you
- 29:38got a third eye ball in the middle of your forehead.
- 29:41You know, my wife for years, didn't believe, half the shit
- 29:44that goes on in post office and, and, you know, the, those common
- 29:48thing is, how do you, how do you run a company like that?
- 29:54You self-medicate, that's what you do, copious amounts of
- 29:59liquid or, you know, we're Reaper or whatever your choice
- 30:03is and say, screw it. I mean, you can't make it up and
- 30:09and no matter what What, how many supervisors?
- 30:13How many postmasters? It all revolves around the same
- 30:17damn toilet, you know? Yep.
- 30:22Just watch all the turds follow themselves down the whole ones.
- 30:25Like yeah, my God cheese. I'm tempted to go into
- 30:32management just so I can run the rural carriers, you know,
- 30:35efficiently. But but I have a permanent
- 30:41Affliction that kissing ass. So you know that won't work,
- 30:45right? Possess business.
- 30:50We give me a, you know, a directive in regards The Eighth
- 30:53Day, rule for RCA side. Look at them.
- 30:55Say screw you, I'll do what I need to do to get the damn route
- 30:59covered. Yeah, you know, I'm scheduled
- 31:04off Friday. I didn't request Friday off, but
- 31:06I'm scheduled on Friday because Friday is the 17th, which is the
- 31:10same day last month on a Friday that are requested off.
- 31:15So this month, she's giving me for the 17th, which is also So,
- 31:18Friday off. Guess who's not working.
- 31:22Guess who's not working Friday. See you guys figure that out.
- 31:31Just like that. Yeah, it didn't take no time.
- 31:36Today after my birthday too. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:41Yep. I have a birthday coming up this
- 31:43week. I'm still the baby.
- 31:47I'll only be 45. Yeah. 45 that reminds me of 45.
- 31:56Remember when you played 45 is on your turntable?
- 31:59Yes. Actually, I do with the little
- 32:02plastic discs in the middle. The old one.
- 32:05Yeah, I remember those. Yes.
- 32:40it's like, you know, Yeah, they didn't call the police on you.
- 33:08Yeah II. Yeah, I don't like talking,
- 33:12whoop politics. So we are coming into annual
- 33:19meeting season. Hmm.
- 33:22What does that mean? Resolutions, resolution time,
- 33:26baby resolution time, definitely State Board elections.
- 33:34All that good stuff, I think resolutions should be in the
- 33:36next couple episodes and how to properly write a resolution.
- 33:43Yes, to know that. It's the only way you're going
- 33:47to get a resolution passed on up if it's going to something to
- 33:50affect the entire craft and not just your office.
- 33:56Yeah, yeah. So something that will something
- 34:00like you said for the entire craft, not the union, not the
- 34:05steward system, not your state system, the craft.
- 34:09Yes. And there's a big difference
- 34:12there, folks. Yeah, we've got too many people
- 34:16around there on their own interests in the steward system,
- 34:22in the state system, who, you know, every year gets the
- 34:24national assignments on The old, or whatever referendum or
- 34:28committee, the national people point until and boy, wouldn't
- 34:33you love to have just one person with experience running a
- 34:36committee and bring in a bunch of new people.
- 34:40So there's a get all three. You know, when they created the
- 34:44leave replacement task force was there a single leaf replacement
- 34:48on that committee. But L know probably not.
- 34:54Wouldn't it be smart it with the crisis we have with leave
- 34:58Replacements right now. Wouldn't it be smart to have a
- 35:03leave replacement from each region?
- 35:07Not necessarily reach a, but you know, how we're divided up
- 35:10between mid states and Sack and swac, you know, and that type of
- 35:14stuff, one RCA from each of those regions.
- 35:19Wouldn't. Wouldn't it be smart if the
- 35:22rural carrier Engineers that did Rex involved?
- 35:27Some of the carrier's, right? I'm just saying is, yeah, yeah,
- 35:36just just an observation. We have the same way.
- 35:41We were evolved in the new new generation delivery vehicles.
- 35:44Oh yeah. Let's out of my inner city,
- 35:51non-rural rural routes. Yeah, let's put something on a
- 35:55true role route. Come on now.
- 35:59Yeah. Well, you know, if this shit up,
- 36:08you know, brought us the years ago and this guy's not all.
- 36:15This is a collaboration between rural carriers and City
- 36:18carriers, and this and that I'm looking at was like, well hold,
- 36:21I see a couple problems here already, you know, with this
- 36:24vehicle you guys did. Well, you know, we didn't get
- 36:28your input, we got other people's Input.
- 36:29I'm like, you know who use other people.
- 36:32I said, what are their names? You have to tell me their names,
- 36:35you know, top top. Top people, top people?
- 36:40Yes. Yeah.
- 36:42That Raiders of the Lost Ark. Yeah, we have top men looking at
- 36:47it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:53You're the same guy that didn't know half the things that he was
- 36:56talking about. But yet, you know, the top
- 36:58people. They got, you know, Like okay.
- 37:01Yeah. I got a, I got a problem with
- 37:03your top people right now. I think we should put something
- 37:09in to create a part-time national board position for an
- 37:15RC a liaison, Sounds like a personal interest for me is in
- 37:24regards to you. I think about that though and
- 37:28it's not even just a part-time tour, you're there for meetings,
- 37:32you're doing you know the board stuff but you're still back a
- 37:35part-time position. Doesn't have to be full time.
- 37:39You know you're not in nro, you're still in the trenches.
- 37:45Yep, unless you're doing go there.
- 37:47They they give you per diem and travel and per diem for you know
- 37:53you go for like a month at a time or whatever, what weeks or
- 37:59you know something. That you know, I think because
- 38:05you get a lot of RCA's they're like well what good is Union do
- 38:08for us? You know, everything's and
- 38:12because surely is a widow, you could stay at her place that we
- 38:16pay for. Look, I'm just trying to keep it
- 38:23economically feasible. Okay, but you know what I'm
- 38:26saying? Yeah.
- 38:29Or or or you can stay with Bridget because you know nobody
- 38:35wants nothing to do with her. Oh, boy.
- 38:40That just look. I'm a secretary treasurer.
- 38:49I'm looking at the financial here.
- 38:51Okay, I just trying to save money.
- 38:53Yeah. And plus, what's that night?
- 38:55You can still sit there and discuss all these things, you
- 38:58know what the extent? Yeah, you know, extended hours
- 39:04with no extra pay, you know, hey that's why Happens.
- 39:09Your regular rule carries are used to that, you know, not
- 39:14getting paid to work, you do. Yeah, just just the thought
- 39:20folks. I mean, you know, I'm just
- 39:23trying to save the the Union money.
- 39:27Yeah. I mean, yeah, you might want
- 39:30more bonuses next year. Okay.
- 39:35What's bonus? Yeah.
- 39:36Yeah, yeah. You get you get one point then
- 39:38you hit one point, three percent of 150,000, which is a shitload
- 39:42more than 1.3 of 75,000? Yeah.
- 39:46Oh to or or whopping 2.3 percent of $19 and change.
- 39:54Yeah, 44 percent raise, if that's not a smack in the
- 39:59fucking face, What can I tell you?
- 40:03I mean, Yo look real smack is being an RCA of a length of time
- 40:14and Grant you not. I know there was many out there
- 40:16that were RCA's for much longer than I have been so far but at
- 40:21the same time when the new guys walking in the door and you're
- 40:25the one training home and you're making the exact same amount.
- 40:30Yep. Yeah, RCA's are become pts.
- 40:36Yeah. I've been thinking, you know,
- 40:38I've been on that bandwagon. Yo DTF.
- 40:45They have a structure scale. Because, yeah, because then the
- 40:49otherwise, you just return a PT F into a PT F RCA and they're,
- 40:54they're going to they're not going to be able to go up and
- 40:56pay. Yeah.
- 40:58Yeah. You gotta cap it somewhere
- 41:00because you soon be outpacing the damn regulars as far as an
- 41:03hourly compensation though. Especially on table to yes, yes.
- 41:10No, I don't agree with that large increase, but you know, to
- 41:17be making a dollar more than the guy, when you have eight years
- 41:21in then the guy that's just walking in off the street.
- 41:25Or five years or more, you know what I mean?
- 41:27Hmm. So, I mean, you know, a little
- 41:31bit more, nothing extravagant, but just, you know, a small,
- 41:36maybe like a, I know it's been talked about step increases for
- 41:41RCA's. It doesn't have to be anything a
- 41:43huge. It could be 10, 15, 20 cents an
- 41:47hour or even a quarter, but when you, you know, we're going up
- 41:53that wine and you've got that time in, at least you're making
- 41:58a Bit more than the new guy walking in the door.
- 42:03All right. Yeah, just a little, not a lot,
- 42:07but a little because I don't see, you know, like again,
- 42:11you're going to be then competing with The PT F and the
- 42:17table to regulars. Mmm.
- 42:22But I know I've got some people out there who have been putting
- 42:26up resolutions. I was talking to one this
- 42:29weekend. He's already got like 20 of them
- 42:33with a few more on the brain. Yeah, so that'll be interesting.
- 42:39I want to try, he invited him to the Discord Channel last night,
- 42:44so he was the one, the general chat pop in and wave on.
- 42:49But, you know, I think right now I think with the annual meetings
- 42:53coming up and leading on into State conventions and then
- 42:56National and a few months that Resolutions should definitely be
- 43:04the hot topic for the next couple weeks.
- 43:14II can't wait for yeah. I like I said, I am torn between
- 43:18doing the State Convention or not.
- 43:20You know I probably should because I've got I've got 67
- 43:24miles vacation days. I have to use it somewhere along
- 43:27the line. Yeah, well, you know, when's
- 43:32when's the last time of year we all had off you know, last
- 43:35weekend. But yeah, that was the first.
- 43:37First time since last year. So no I get it.
- 43:39Mmm, yeah, it's Out of my 6 request, I put in only two of
- 43:47them were personal. So, Yeah, I mean you know like I
- 43:54said, I'll have Friday off because you know, Miss
- 43:57scheduling by the supervisor because it's so hard doing 18
- 44:00routes, you know it's like God. Yeah.
- 44:06And we still have we have another trainee going through
- 44:11the academy next week. We've got one that I think
- 44:15should be starting Academy towards the end of the month.
- 44:19And it's like, you know, wow we're going to have almost 77
- 44:22and RCA's actually five and a half because we got the one that
- 44:28he doesn't speak English. Well, he was all right and got
- 44:31back at 8:45. We got the other one who he
- 44:35wanders in around 9:30? 942 whatever.
- 44:39Oh then that was another thing, the topic of discussion that and
- 44:43I love it because Saturday morning, I get phone calls from
- 44:46the carrier say. Yeah.
- 44:48Bill. Why do they do this?
- 44:50When you're not here, they have these announcements.
- 44:52They're going to start bringing outside people into discipline
- 44:55for people who are late anything more than five minutes late and
- 45:00you know you're going to get disciplines.
- 45:02Yeah. Okay.
- 45:03The other thing is, yeah and like Aldo said, well if I'm
- 45:09going to be more than five minutes late should I just call
- 45:12out sick, huh? Yeah.
- 45:15Better to have an open route than somebody there.
- 45:17Late a little bit, you know? No.
- 45:18Yeah and then the other one is 0 and if you have personal issues
- 45:24and your family issues, you can talk to me on the side and what
- 45:27we'll see about setting up a reporting time for you, huh?
- 45:32What what whoo. What are we talking disparity of
- 45:36treatment? Are we talking?
- 45:37You know, we're friends, and I'm not friends with Bill, so you
- 45:42can come in whenever you want. The bill has to be here on time.
- 45:45Yeah, you know, I, you know, I purposely clock in a minute
- 45:50early or a minute late, every at least once a week, just just to
- 45:53piss him off. And they sit there and go, you
- 45:57know, well, why are your eyes? So I guess my finger, it early,
- 46:01too early, you know, or you know, oh, it registered late.
- 46:05I don't care. You know, what are you gonna do?
- 46:07Write me up. Go ahead.
- 46:09I'll talk to Stuart. Oh, I am the steward.
- 46:12Yeah, dumbass pretty much. oh yeah, it's been It'll be
- 46:22interesting with these Dimensions coming up.
- 46:27Uh-huh. Look forward to being able to
- 46:29hang out with Mike again. In May.
- 46:31That'll be fun. It'll be fine.
- 46:34Yeah. I'm not too busy doing.
- 46:41Ho ho State. Yeah.
- 46:45At least get a moment to say hi. Mike, a hug and then be off
- 46:48again. Yeah, I get it.
- 46:58There's always the banquet Do you drink Mike?
- 47:06No, I would have it. I was drinking a Yuengling while
- 47:09while we were talking here. That's something I can buy in
- 47:13the state of Kansas. Now they now get the regular
- 47:16Yuengling or the black and tan the regular, try the black and
- 47:22tan. That's pretty good too.
- 47:24Well, I know Dennis black and tans are really good tasty, the
- 47:29way I Define them. So, I'm a fan of Wacom pen.
- 47:34Yeah, try it. Yeah, you like it because it's a
- 47:37little bit, little more flavorful with that without
- 47:40having a lot of aftertaste to it.
- 47:44Okay? So we will take care of it when
- 47:49we went up and looked at the townhouse and Chester Springs
- 47:51today and we stopped at a burger job beer joint.
- 47:57And I had a Jules Pilsner Because it was the closest thing
- 48:05to a normal beer. They had everything else, had
- 48:09dark chocolate, toffee coffee, light, chocolate medium,
- 48:14chocolate, cloves, fruit, fruit, and more fruit.
- 48:18And I'm sitting there going And I can't stand like my son loves
- 48:23the ipas with all the options in there if I want a drink like
- 48:28that, I'll get some bay leaves and cloves, I'll ferment them on
- 48:31the windowsill for a month and then drink that crap.
- 48:34Okay? Yeah.
- 48:51I mean really it's just how do you think this is delicious you
- 48:58know, refreshing or anything else?
- 49:02So yeah, I definitely can see your point on that.
- 49:06Yeah, I like a good raspberry or a blood orange but that's really
- 49:12Well, that sounds like, you know, that the first time I had
- 49:14a blue moon, you know, and beer comes over.
- 49:18It's got an orange slice on and I'm like, what?
- 49:24And the goes, what's a blue moon?
- 49:25I said, yeah, I didn't ask for a fruit cocktail, but yeah, of
- 49:30course. Yeah.
- 49:31You've got your lime okay. With the Coronas.
- 49:34Yes. Like, okay, I mean, hello.
- 49:42My missing something here. No, I'm not yeah, it's all it's
- 49:49all now that you know everything, you know.
- 49:50I mean it really is and it's just Give me a nice clean,
- 49:55refreshing beer and you know one that you know, when you turn
- 49:58around and you drink it and you know, there's no aftertaste if
- 50:04there's, you know, just beer, it's refreshing.
- 50:08It shouldn't be overwhelming. But, but what do I know?
- 50:18Drew. What do I know?
- 50:22But now it's I like my Crown Royal Crown Royal apple or even
- 50:30drink The Salted Caramel now cuz that's pretty dang good.
- 50:34I've been wanting to try that they were out when I went to get
- 50:38some so I was gonna wonder about the Salted Caramel.
- 50:41I wanted to try that one. And then of course, it in the
- 50:45summer, I'll get the peach with the gallon of Breyers ice cream
- 50:48and make my Crown Royal Peach milkshakes.
- 50:55Yeah, those were hit. Okay.
- 51:01Hey, but it's a peach milkshake. That's all it is.
- 51:03It's like Yonder? No, no Chick-fil-A.
- 51:10So it's one of those things are. Had a girlfriend in college who
- 51:19got drunk on peach schnapps one night.
- 51:24Let's just say I had a bad experience.
- 51:30Yeah, I've been wanting to try The Salted Caramel.
- 51:34I just wanted to know if that was the night.
- 51:36You lost your virginity. so now we know
- 52:08from when I was a kid, Walk right back out of the house or
- 52:13restaurant wouldn't. It doesn't matter?
- 52:15I can't. It can't handle it.
- 52:17It's one of the few psychological things as ever
- 52:20bother me my life. I'm that way, with cheap tequila
- 52:35But back to the racks. Yeah, let's see what happens if
- 52:41they actually come out with these new evaluations on the
- 52:4520th. Well, yeah.
- 52:48And you know, people out there, you know, those sorts of
- 52:52comments in here, you know, let us know what your, you know,
- 52:55what you go through. What the results are.
- 52:59Okay. The Facebook page and join the
- 53:06group. Definitely want to know how
- 53:10everybody is going to fare in this.
- 53:12This is gonna be interesting. Yeah.
- 53:15And you know, I'm going to be interested in seeing how it is
- 53:19across the country. Yeah, I'm not that, you know,
- 53:22specific areas themselves, you know, that, you know, somehow or
- 53:26other are generally affected by it.
- 53:29Others. Yeah, benza area out there in
- 53:35the middle of the country where, you know, there's no Amazon and
- 53:38everything. I mean, you know, he's probably
- 53:40going to be less affected because of the fact that no
- 53:44Amazon's not out there. Whereas in our area.
- 53:48We're getting smeared because Amazon's all over us.
- 53:51I mean in their back to using the private delivery that again
- 53:54out of vehicles. Yeah we've got we just got
- 53:58private delivery. Out of vehicles, on a couple of
- 54:02our areas. So, I mean, that's not going to
- 54:06affect us for this first 52 weeks.
- 54:08But you know, what's the next six months going to look like,
- 54:12you know, so, you know, everybody's saying, you know,
- 54:18I'm worried about this and worry about that.
- 54:19Well, you know, you've got six months that, you know, the
- 54:22figure it out and then another six months and then, you know,
- 54:26here's my problem with this whole thing.
- 54:30How do you? How do you regulate, how do you
- 54:34justify household budget every six months?
- 54:41How do you turn around and get a mortgage or a car loan?
- 54:44All right. That's what.
- 54:45Everybody's I mean when this thing first started coming about
- 54:49everybody was scared that, you know, their evaluation was going
- 54:55to change, you know. Each pay period.
- 54:59Yeah. We know that's not going to be
- 55:04the factor, but six months, for some, for some routes, could be
- 55:09a huge change. Hmm.
- 55:14So you know, you have to turn around and adjust your lifestyle
- 55:18and everything else. According to the evaluation.
- 55:21Yeah, and then six months from now, just what you might be
- 55:26higher or lower And you know, okay, what if it's $100, a pay
- 55:32period lower. Yeah, that's quite a bit.
- 55:36Yeah. Now, you're squeezing your
- 55:38utility bill or your car payment, you know, if you got,
- 55:41but we're regulars on table two, I mean, that hunger bucks a
- 55:45paycheck could be detrimental to them.
- 55:49Hey, Kristin, I've had people put the union, just over to cost
- 55:53of union. Dues.
- 55:54Yeah. And people go, well, that's not
- 55:57that much it, you know, if you're a single mother, yes it
- 56:00is. Absolutely, you know, if you're
- 56:04if you're single and you're living at home with, you know,
- 56:06some your parents who are retired in somewhat disabled,
- 56:09that's a problem. It really is.
- 56:14Let me know folks a higher cost of living areas do not get paid
- 56:21anything different than somebody that lives in a lower cost of
- 56:24living area. So yeah, definitely.
- 56:28Makes a difference. Let me know friends of paying
- 56:32your rent or your mortgage that month or your car payment, or,
- 56:39you know, kids need a new tennis shoes for school.
- 56:41Oh, well. You know, I didn't have a very
- 56:46good. Yeah, maybe I won't be able
- 56:47Mabel, I won't be able to afford to buy Crown Royal anymore.
- 56:53That would be well. I got enough for Christmas.
- 56:57The last next Christmas, though, the boys come in and say Royal
- 57:08flag out on the front yard. Yeah, I want to make it look
- 57:15like that. I have a drinking problem but
- 57:18the only time I have a drinking problem was when I brought out.
- 57:22Yeah make a quilt out of the Crown Royal bags bags.
- 57:26Yeah, yeah, well, I was going to make booties for the
- 57:30grandchildren out of them because if they have the ties
- 57:32bottom, you know, stick their foot in their just tied a
- 57:36little, you know, booty on. I think I've seen Patterns for
- 57:42pants made out of them to that could be stylish.
- 57:48I guess I can see making the thawing out of one.
- 58:30I have one word to say to you, Mike
- 58:42I rest my case. Oh boy.
- 58:50What can I say now? I'm just like, yeah, I love
- 58:53historical pieces, right? Right.
- 58:56I have yet to be able to watch that, but it is on my to see
- 59:00list. I'll tell you what you see,
- 59:08you're going to be repulsed and attracted, firstly, attracted to
- 59:13watching the whole movie, kind of like a train wreck, you just
- 59:15can't look away. Yeah, that was Can't Look Away.
- 59:22What was it on the the series Taxi?
- 59:25How Louis, and all them guys met, you know, his group.
- 59:28They were the last three to leave a fatal accident.
- 59:33There's like yeah I know I know what you're talking about
- 59:39because I'll tell you what you do, it is like that it's certain
- 59:42people were attracted the to tragedy.
- 59:46I prefer call, you know, but Anyway, you can't make this shit
- 59:57up, folks. Let's see, who is the not
- 1:00:11working on Monday? And then on Tuesday, I have a
- 1:00:16two-hour grievance for him because he was scheduled in.
- 1:00:20Then they send them home. So he's gonna pay for those two
- 1:00:23hours. I've got one carrier, who is not
- 1:00:27the not scheduled, but in that's what they do.
- 1:00:31They put an S on your dropped days and then they scribble in
- 1:00:35the word in. You have to let you know that
- 1:00:37you're required to work. And then I have one carrier, who
- 1:00:41is gone from rd7 2rd, 22R d-17 in a matter of hours, what my
- 1:00:48routes covered. And yet one sub.
- 1:00:52Andrew. Our is perpetually getting
- 1:00:55Saturday's off. Now, how to Hell's a sub getting
- 1:00:57Saturday's on? I don't know, I have to ask for
- 1:01:01them off. Yeah I mean I thought that that
- 1:01:05was the point of having Subs. Yeah.
- 1:01:11You know, what do I know? But we have we have one, two,
- 1:01:16three, four, five, six, seven, seven stubs of on record right
- 1:01:22now, for 18 routes and all the routes are RK routes.
- 1:01:29So at any given time at any given time, let's see.
- 1:01:34Oh, everybody could have their drop?
- 1:01:36They couldn't they? Yeah, in theory. hey, I mean you
- 1:01:42if you have seven subs and there's six days a week, 6
- 1:01:46times. 7 is 42, isn't it? Yeah or no.
- 1:01:51So since there's only 18 routes, you have twice as many Subs as
- 1:01:55you need to give everybody a dropped egg.
- 1:01:58So why isn't that working? Can't because I also logic
- 1:02:07doesn't make sense. Yeah.
- 1:02:10Postal logic is an oxymoron. Yes.
- 1:02:14Yes. yeah, it's one of them things where, you know, folks if
- 1:02:21you're looking for intelligence, don't enter a post office.
- 1:02:28I have a suit. I have, I might wear my cases is
- 1:02:31where our little Dutch door is for handling customer.
- 1:02:34Complaints off to the side from the window.
- 1:02:38Yeah, they open the top half and this one supervisor gets up
- 1:02:42there and she's talking for 10 minutes and I'm listening just
- 1:02:47because I'm nosy and I'm I'm not quite sure what the hell she's
- 1:02:52trying to explain. And after after about 45
- 1:02:56minutes, the guy says, what are you trying to tell me?
- 1:02:59Because I can't understand what you're saying and she goes well,
- 1:03:04I have very good English. She says, I do I understand the
- 1:03:07language? I don't understand the words in
- 1:03:10regards to the issue I have And I'm sitting there going you know
- 1:03:18she sounded like a politician. Yeah because she was yakking her
- 1:03:23ass off and nothing was coming out as far as intelligence
- 1:03:26concern. So you know there's your next
- 1:03:31president, I see Josh, finally joined us.
- 1:03:36Either Josh Is fish and chips here.
- 1:03:43Yeah. Not going to Rhett Butler too,
- 1:03:49cheap to cook the meal. How has your week?
- 1:03:53That was not too bad. I had a new word.
- 1:03:58See, a start who actually used to be a court or some type of
- 1:04:07clerk profession in New Jersey moved down here and couldn't get
- 1:04:13transferred. So was told to stay in the
- 1:04:18system, they can apply for a carrier position.
- 1:04:26They actually, you know, she started training with me
- 1:04:32Thursday and Jump Right In started grabbing flat some raw
- 1:04:37mail and it in the case trying to figure it out so I'm hoping
- 1:04:43wow has training the sub Friday, the 17th which I found out is
- 1:04:50orientation Really. So yeah.
- 1:05:01Still haven't seen any paperwork for any of the day.
- 1:05:06All I apologize. We're or Wednesday, the was the
- 1:05:1330th. 29th or first brother, the ATR was there and said something
- 1:05:21to them about their supposed to be giving us our Gateway
- 1:05:24numbers. Thursday, when I came in there,
- 1:05:28were we got a print out with auburn numbers for or a single
- 1:05:33print out for Saturday Monday Tuesday, Wednesday.
- 1:05:37Haven't seen anything since said something to him, this,
- 1:05:41Wednesday. When the, our question for was
- 1:05:49is management Justified, not participating in the Minnie
- 1:05:53Mouse survey and in my statement, wrote not getting our
- 1:05:58daily numbers, not getting a radar report.
- 1:06:05And like two other items. I forget what they are off.
- 1:06:08The top, my head on my statement, it had the two
- 1:06:12Terrier. Oh and the not counting our mail
- 1:06:15until after 10:00 every day from the high case and had the two
- 1:06:21other. You know, my my two cohorts in
- 1:06:24my zone, sign it sign that statement also, He said he he
- 1:06:30talked, you know, he told me later that he talked to the
- 1:06:32manager or he told them a week before they had to start praying
- 1:06:37the radar report. And still haven't said anything,
- 1:06:42said Saturday. I it's a game running on Friday.
- 1:06:51I said something. To the to work will be about the
- 1:06:59numbers. It's just me on the only one.
- 1:07:02I'll have it. Yeah I'm the only one doing it.
- 1:07:05When I get a chance I'll get it now head and I'll give you the
- 1:07:09you know the paper with all the all the information about it.
- 1:07:12By the time you come back Saturday by the time I left I
- 1:07:15still wasn't pretty, of course. And they have until Tuesday to
- 1:07:21finalize their entries. And I want to make sure that
- 1:07:25they have our miscellaneous time for the stand up tall, which are
- 1:07:30all my Ouija board. Every time they have one, how
- 1:07:34long they were in the moment, they called it.
- 1:07:36The moment they just passed. No, we were discussing earlier
- 1:07:43the fact that rule info dot Nets.
- 1:07:46Facebook page, had put up the letter from the post office and
- 1:07:50the Union in regards to us getting the service talks under
- 1:07:54the miscellaneous times. And that there was only a one
- 1:08:00paragraph from the post office, in regards to the miscellaneous
- 1:08:05time and they were still fighting about, you know,
- 1:08:07getting the time from back before this because they weren't
- 1:08:11Putting it into the rim system and I'm sitting there going
- 1:08:15well, you expect them to do anything on time.
- 1:08:18Yeah, ever ever. Well, and that's, that's why the
- 1:08:22post-op, you know, that's my paper agreed to allow it as
- 1:08:28miscellaneous time because they weren't doing it in most cases.
- 1:08:40Well, I gotta do something. If you haven't been trained
- 1:08:43correctly, Well, actually they were that you're right,
- 1:08:48allegedly. I can only go by what
- 1:08:56information that was given to me that management was given that
- 1:09:02information and I was at training with my supervisor, but
- 1:09:07guess who was on vacation for the last week of the men email
- 1:09:10survey? Yeah.
- 1:09:15Yeah. All right, let's see.
- 1:09:17I our supervisor showed up for two days out of the, many, male
- 1:09:20survivors survey. She was a training during the
- 1:09:25survey not survey training, some other type of training.
- 1:09:32Yeah. It's like yeah folks.
- 1:09:36Are you kidding me? So Josh, do you agree with us?
- 1:09:45We should start over the next few weeks.
- 1:09:47Start talking about annual meetings and resolutions.
- 1:09:52I think we should are we still? Are we are we still going or if
- 1:10:00you already wrapped up for the night.
- 1:10:02Just so I know where we're at and down for the night.
- 1:10:06Okay. See I figured I would just stay
- 1:10:10in the background until y'all wrap it up, but y'all called me
- 1:10:13now Hello.
- 1:11:10Answer in the stupid questions about Rex.
- 1:11:15Oh, I'm sure. Oh yeah.
- 1:11:18But on that note Mike, what's your your final words for this
- 1:11:24evening? What do I want to say?
- 1:11:31You know. I guess that it going back over
- 1:11:39all their stuff on track because they are wreck at this folks.
- 1:11:44Educate yourselves. If you're waiting for someone,
- 1:11:48don't wait for someone to do as this is your paycheck, no one
- 1:11:53should care more about it than you if they give you if you're
- 1:11:57given a link or to the information follow the link and
- 1:12:04read it yourself. And ask questions until you
- 1:12:07understand it. It's your pay act like you care
- 1:12:11about it. Oh my God.
- 1:12:17Josh. I know you were not here very
- 1:12:20long but with you. Well, your well wishes for this
- 1:12:24next week. I was just going to say, you
- 1:12:37haven't been doing all the extra scans and you just recently did,
- 1:12:45keep in mind you it's not going to show up this go round.
- 1:12:50You might take a hit put in six months, you'll recoup six months
- 1:12:54after that which is a year from now you'll be back to where you
- 1:12:57should be like bill has said multiple times in multiple
- 1:13:02episodes. Focus on a few at a time
- 1:13:06learning. um, once you get those down, focus on another two or
- 1:13:10three days until you completely understand all of those extra
- 1:13:17skins and what they are used for when to use them, Hopefully by
- 1:13:23this Friday people will start getting their actual results and
- 1:13:28what they do evaluations will be they have Cho Tuesday to
- 1:13:33finalize entering this information.
- 1:13:35So after that, it's just a matter of the system writing it
- 1:13:41out. If you get overwhelmed, take a
- 1:13:45step back, take a deep breath, step back in, and get back at it
- 1:13:49and have a good week, build are your turn?
- 1:13:55Boom, your final, your final ramblings for this evening,
- 1:13:59rambling rambling. If I had feelings, they be hurt
- 1:14:06right now. Okay, I get it.
- 1:14:10Oh no, it's over folks. You know, some of the issues in
- 1:14:19regards to grievances, they're going to ask you to sign that
- 1:14:23the paperwork saying that you're going to meet your 2080 hours
- 1:14:27and yeah, I'm not signing. I'm not guaranteeing anything.
- 1:14:30On the basis of you, this is the first time we've had this count
- 1:14:34in many mail survey AKA count. So, I'm not sure that it's been
- 1:14:39done correctly and I don't have proof that everything that I'm
- 1:14:43entitled to is on the paint, on the sheets because they can't,
- 1:14:48you know, they can't provide that information to you and
- 1:14:50timely fashion and if they're claiming that the radar Chords
- 1:14:55are basically anywhere from several days to several weeks
- 1:14:59behind. Then how are you going to
- 1:15:01confirm that before this becomes, you know, policy as far
- 1:15:05as your paychecks concern I'm highly skeptical about it.
- 1:15:10You know, in this day and age of technology that they can't get
- 1:15:12this done, right? That they've had five years to
- 1:15:15get this, right? They had an extra six months
- 1:15:17from September to get this right?
- 1:15:19And the post office has made no effort whatsoever to do it.
- 1:15:24So I'm not signing nothing and I will sign that I'm not signing
- 1:15:28it and you're entitled to do that too.
- 1:15:33Yes, you Tire in the meantime just do your job.
- 1:15:37The way you're supposed to, the way you always done it, you
- 1:15:40know, no cheating, no shortcuts. No fouls or where's Nick Young?
- 1:15:45Just don't give them any excuse to question.
- 1:15:47You know, what you're doing when you're doing and how you're
- 1:15:49doing it, okay. Keep your head on a swivel.
- 1:15:53When you're behind the wheel, watch our kids.
- 1:15:55Dogs are and drivers student. Drivers elderly drivers.
- 1:16:00People like me and get home safe.
- 1:16:05At the end of the day, you know, get to get onto your loved ones
- 1:16:07because you're the most important delivery of the day.
- 1:16:10And you hear me say that. And I mean, I think the last
- 1:16:13thing I want to hear, or Read is like today.
- 1:16:17They found that the lady who was mauled to death by the five
- 1:16:20dogs, it was it was accidental. There's no charges being
- 1:16:25pressed, and I'm sitting there going, you got to be kidding me.
- 1:16:30You lost your life, over this job, over some out-of-control
- 1:16:34animals with the history. That's how little post office
- 1:16:38cares because they won't pursue it on her behalf or her family's
- 1:16:41behalf, get home, get to be safe.
- 1:16:46Be with the ones that love you and you love okay and add-on for
- 1:16:52what bill was saying, you do not have to sign that paper.
- 1:16:57I do know that the ADR xindi ours.
- 1:17:01If you choose not to sign we were informed that hey you don't
- 1:17:05have to sign it, but at least put a statement down on why you
- 1:17:08refused to sign it that way. If something comes back then
- 1:17:12they've got they've got it in paper for you to help out.
- 1:17:17So Price. Yeah.
- 1:17:19By signing your green, being to that everything.
- 1:17:24You feel. Everything was accurate, right?
- 1:17:26And if you want to refuse to sign, just write a statement a
- 1:17:29while you refuse to sign. That you don't agree with it or
- 1:17:34whatever, that way, if something was to come up and a grievous
- 1:17:37needs to be filed with it, then they have a reasoning on why you
- 1:17:42refuse to sign. So, Just a cya.
- 1:17:48And that no people. It's yeah, we should find out
- 1:17:57within another week or so how these evaluations will be
- 1:17:59affected and, you know, pop in and leave us a message and let
- 1:18:04us know how you fared. We're kind of really curious to
- 1:18:07see what happens across the country.
- 1:18:11With, with our family and these this interesting to system has
- 1:18:17finally coming into play. On that note, everybody take
- 1:18:22care. Have a good night and stay safe.
