- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Do you know?
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: I think human design gives us our blueprint.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: But often, like when I sit with people, they've gotten really far away from that.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Like they were living their designs so purely when they were young, and then they kind of like got lost in like everything they thought they were supposed to be.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: And so then they're kind of returning to their human design.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: So that's why it's so useful to know.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I think it like helps us navigate the nurture.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: What are the right experiences?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: What are the right influences?
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: What are the right people?
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: So this week I am so excited about this guest.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: So this week I have Erin Claire Jones with us.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: And some of you have probably heard of her because she's a pretty well-known human design reader.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I actually have been following her for a while.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: And um I think back in 2020, I bought a um a human design blueprint from her, which you can buy on her website.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: And it's a very detailed breakdown of your specific human design.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I definitely recommend everybody getting one of those.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: And if you don't know much about human design, now is probably your invitation to dive in a little deeper because I have found human design to be so incredibly helpful, especially around business, because it really helps you get clear on what your energy is like and the way that you optimally operate.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: And then also just what your true gifts and abilities are.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: And it really helps you learn how to like honor your own energy and the way that you operate so that you can not only optimize the way that you're working, but also just come to this place of deep self-acceptance and not try to be someone you're not.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Because I think, you know, the world is kind of built for people that operate a certain way, this like nine to five hustle mentality.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: And just not everybody is built that way.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: And when you start to study your human design, you start to understand how you're built and how you're meant to kind of work within the world.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: So Erin Claire Jones is a brilliant human design reader, and she shares her wisdom with us today, just around, you know, the basics of human design, each of the types and the numbers and what all of that stuff means.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: So I think you're gonna get a lot of insight today.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: And then also you have the opportunity to dive a little bit deeper.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Erin has some special things available to you just for listening to the episode.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: So if you use the code energy at checkout, you can get 10% off your human design blueprint.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And we will link that below.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: So I would definitely recommend doing that because it's such a powerful tool and you have it for the rest of your life.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: And it's something you can go back and look at again and again to really absorb more and understand more about your human design and your soul's blueprint.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: So I highly recommend doing that.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I think you're really gonna love this episode.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: I'm honored that Erin was on the show.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: So enjoy.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Hi, everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: So, today's guest, I know you guys are gonna love, we have Erin Claire Jones with us today, who uses human design to help thousands of individuals and companies step into their work and their lives as their truest selves and their highest potential.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Her work as a guide, coach, and speaker has attracted a growing community of over 180,000 people who turn to her teachings for practical tools, digestible tips, and deeper self-knowledges that they can access to live with greater ease and authenticity.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So, welcome to the show, Erin.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy to be here.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so let's just dive right in.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: I'd love to kind of hear just a little bit about your story, whatever feels aligned for you to share, maybe some pivotal points on your path that have kind of propelled you into where you are now.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I would say probably the most important one was discovering human design because I don't think that I knew what it was, and I definitely couldn't have envisioned that that was gonna be the direction my career took.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: It was very serendipitous, and I'm sure we'll talk about what human design is as a kind of system to understand yourself and how you work best.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: But I was in New York City at a friend's gathering in 2015 and basically sat next to a stranger who asked if he could do like a little mini reading for me on the spot.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: And I had never heard of human design, but I was like, okay, tell me everything.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: And he did a little mini reading for me, and it was so accurate and so resonant.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Like I never felt like somebody like put into words so specifically, like me.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And I was just really confronted by it because I was like, I've been avoiding all this my entire life.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Like, are you really telling me like it's okay to actually step into that?
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And he actually ended the conversation by saying, I think that you're meant to do this, and I think that we should like build a business together.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: He'd been studying human design for a decade, and so he was my first teacher.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: This was at a time in the world when human design was not very popular, really not out there.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: And so that was a really like initiating moment in really kind of putting me on that path.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I've been working with it since for the past eight years.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: And I think, you know, another big moment for me was really in 2017.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: I kind of walked away from that partnership and actually like stepped away from human design because it didn't feel like anyone in the world was like quite ready or cared about it as much as I did.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And I was like, someday they've got to see how cool this is.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: And so it was really such a part of important part of my journey because it was really around continuing to study and learn, even though I wasn't getting the external recognition yet, you know, that this was a thing that people really wanted.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: And so then I launched again in early 2018 with my own practice, and now my husband is my business partner, and it's been an amazing journey since then.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: But I always say kind of those big moments of both discovering and then kind of like quitting, walking away, and really trusting myself enough to begin again.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, wow, I love that.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: And when I discovered human design, I was kind of like overwhelmed by it at first because it's a lot, but then when I had my first reading, I was really blown away because I honestly had never felt so seen before in my whole life than in that human design reading.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: So I think my audience mostly knows about human design, but for people who might not be as familiar, can you just like give us your interpretation of what it is and what people might need or want to know about it?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: So human design is a system based on your time, date, and place of birth.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And it really reveals your energetic blueprint and how you're uniquely wired to thrive in your work, relationship, and life.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: It really gives us like each our own operating manual.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: I feel like so often we get tripped up in life because we're trying to emulate a path of somebody who's very different than us, or we want people to be more similar to us.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: And I think human design just like outlines really specifically like how we are wired to thrive in our own unique way, you know, that we're not carbon copies of each other and that we're each like different.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: And it really helps us kind of really bring that self-knowledge into action, actually, kind of offers us a lot of practical tools to use in our life.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Human design isn't predictive, it won't tell you that in five years you'll meet this person or in 10 years you'll launch this thing.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: It more helps us understand our operating system on a very deep level.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: So we really kind of know how to flow with ourselves and not against ourselves.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: And then I've kind of heard it's based in a bunch of different schools of thought, or like what is it kind of based in?
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: And like, I know you use your birthday, but what are the main like elements that you look at?
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: So basically, if you input your time, date, and place of birth, and there are lots of places on our website, it's humandesignblueprint.com, you'll see this wild-looking chart that's not very intuitive looking, but it basically is like a map of your design and how things are moving.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: You probably are gonna need somebody to look at it.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's an amazing system to study, it's dense, like you said, it can be overwhelming.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: There's so much information, and it's often not all information you need to understand at once.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: But in terms of its foundations, it does pull from a lot of different systems.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: So, astrology, the Kabbalah, the Aiching, the Schaker system, quantum physics, genetics, biochemistry kind of all to give us this like master blueprint of how we operate.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: So you can kind of see components of those pieces and different elements in the chart.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: And we think of it as a quantum system, like it really kind of pulls from so many amazing practices to really kind of help us understand ourselves more deeply.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: Because some people will be like, okay, well, for me, like I'm a manifesting generator, right?
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: So like I know that means stuff, but then it's also so much more to it.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: Can you just tell us like the basic, the generator, manifesting generator, and like what those mean for people?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: So, you know, everyone's design is really unique.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Human design is not a kind of thing where you like look at somebody's chart and you're like, oh my God, we're the same.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: Like you might have the same type, but like it gets so much more specific.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: But at the highest level, there are five different types.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: And this is the first piece to look at.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: It's, I would say it's such an important piece, and it's also just the first piece.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: So, like if you and your kid or you and a friend or you and a partner are both manifesting generators, it doesn't mean y'all are the same.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: There are similar characteristics, but you will be so unique in your own ways.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So, high level, there are manifesting generators, generators, projectors, reflectors, and manifestors.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: And so I'll start with manifesting generators because you are one.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: But I would say most important here is that these people are really here to be multi-passionate creators and doers.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Like you might find you're a little bit bored if you're doing the same thing all day, every day.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: And like it's really good to like stay excited and simulated and like pivot in between different things.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: And like you're just meant to be quite multifaceted and varied in your passions.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: And so, probably the worst thing you can do is try to put yourself in one box or stick to a super linear path, but to really kind of give yourself permission to keep evolving and reinventing yourself and shifting and changing.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: I would say one of your gifts is really making things happen quickly, but not in handling every single step along the way.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: So it's really nice to be surrounded by people that can like help you in the step-by-step process in a way that really frees you to kind of move fast and be in your own creative flow.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: And the last piece that I would just share is that as a manifesting generator, like you're not really meant to let like chase after things or initiate or force.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Like you're really meant to let things come to you and wait for them to really kind of spark a gut feeling in you before you go after it.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: So before I keep going to the other types, I want to just hear kind of how and if that's resonating with you.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, definitely.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: It's funny because you know, obviously, I feel like I'm much more living my design, so to speak, now than I was obviously when I had a full-time job and was kind of doing the same thing every day.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Cause I feel like I would get that feeling of like I need to be doing something different.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: I'm bored, I need to change it up, and I'm just kind of feeling very stagnant doing the same thing every day.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: And I feel like I have so many different things that I'm interested in and want to do, and I'm like super fast.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: I like to do things really, really fast.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: So, yes, it mostly everything resonates for me.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: And it's actually a really great reminder because I get in these modes where, like, for example, I told I mentioned to you that we're going up to the cat skills next week.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: And I get in these modes where I'm like, I have to change it up.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: Like, I gotta get out of here.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: I gotta go somewhere else.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: I have to like change my environment because I start to feel really stagnant and bored and kind of like I'm gonna explode or something if I don't go somewhere else and do something else.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: So that totally resonates.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and like, and I think so often manifesting generators have been made to feel scattered or like they're doing too much or like they haven't committed to just one thing, and like you are here to keep things interesting and to change things up and to pivot and change and shift.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And so I think like one of human design's greatest gifts is really just giving us permission to be who we are, you know, and not put us in our box that doesn't feel authentic to us.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: And like even when people like describe, because I feel like what I do, I always feel like is evolving and changing too.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: So like when I hear people describe what I do, I'm like, well, it's not exactly right anymore.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: I feel like I would say more of this or that.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: So I feel like it's always evolving and changing.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Yes, and it's good for your team to know that, you know?
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: And also like to not also try to put yourself in a box or make sense to other people.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes it's like, oh, I've got to like put this all in a thing to make sense.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And it's like, no, I'm just like, I'm excited by this and also this, and maybe this tomorrow.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: So just giving yourself that freedom.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, so then we've got generators.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Generators are very similar in some ways, like they really are here to be these very masterful creators and doers.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: They have such powerful energy to make things happen when they are genuinely lit up and excited by what they're doing.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: So it's so important for them to both kind of prioritize their own excitement and also have really strong boundaries.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: They might find that people come to them for all kinds of things because they're so naturally capable.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: And for them to kind of their lesson is to really trust that, like the more lit up they are, like the more benefit they'll have.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: So, really just taking inventory to see what in their life is letting them up and exciting them the most, doing those things, noticing what is draining and depleting and exhausting them, letting those things go.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: And their strategy, similar to yours, is about letting things come to them and waiting for things to kind of spark a gut feeling in them before they go after it.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and are isn't generators like the one most of the population is?
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Generators and manifesting generators in combination.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, got it.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Then we've got projectors, and and this is kind of in descending order of rarity.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: And again, it doesn't mean that like you're like boring if you're type that has like more, because again, like there's so much underneath it that will kind of distinguish you and create that nuance.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: So projectors are really here to be kind of our leaders, guides, teachers, advisors, not here to do all the doing.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: So much of being a projector is knowing that your gift is like in how powerfully you see and not how much you can do.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Projectors are very innately sensitive to other people, which makes them very natural teachers, guides, managers, CEOs, leaders.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Their energy is gonna very naturally ebb and flow.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: So it's good to have rest and space and ease in their days.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: And they often love systems like human design.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: They kind of love things that really deepen their understanding of people and how they work best.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: And the strategy for projectors is to be recognized and invited in.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: So to really kind of invest their energy in the places where they feel the most like deeply seen and appreciated and known and valued for who they are.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: That makes sense.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And then we've got manifestors who are really here to be kind of the initiators, the disruptors, the innovators.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Um, these people are really good at like getting things started, not doing all the doing themselves.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: And they really thrive when they feel a sense of freedom and autonomy and control.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: So not here to be told what to do, manage, or guided in any way.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Um, their energy can be quite spurdy, meaning that they can like make a lot happen often over a couple days, hours, weeks, and then have to like pull back and rest and kind of wait for the next surge to arrive.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Um, and they just have this very disruptive nature.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Like they're really here to kind of be the first and see where things are going before others do.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And their strategy is really about initiating and making the first move and just keeping the people around them kind of informed and in the loop of what they're doing.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: The last type is a reflector.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: These people are kind of our collective mirrors, very sensitive to their space, always taking in and magnifying the energy that they're around.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: So you get a really good sense of how a team or company or community is doing based on how that reflector is showing up.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: So they're they need to be very ruthless curators of who and where they're spending time with and in.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: And also like they're very naturally fluid.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: They're gonna have days that where they feel like manifestors, like projectors, like manifesting generators.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: So to just like honor whatever feels like them that day.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: And then in the context of business, we call them evaluators just because they see and sense things that so many people miss.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And so it's really good for them to kind of be in environments where um that perspective and the gift of their perspective is really valued and appreciated.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: You know what I was thinking when you were talking, I'm like the world would be such an amazing place if everyone knew their human design.
- 16:30unknown: Yeah.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Because basically it would be a world where everyone's just like being themselves, you know.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I think we're so, you know, obviously, just with the way we're programmed and how we grow up, it's like we think we have to do things a certain way.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Um, and we think we have to be a certain way, live a certain path.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: And then if you don't, it's like you feel like you're doing something wrong or there's something wrong with you.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: So this is like such a great tool for self-acceptance, which is one of the biggest things that we all need to learn.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: I just think that we find so much more flow in our lives and we just like do it as ourselves, you know, and like don't try to be a thing that we're not.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: And I think human design also reminds us that we all need each other, you know, we all kind of need all these different types.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I think what I would just say is that like human design often creates like a tremendous sense of relief in people because they've often spent so much of their lives trying to be everything that they're not.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: And human design just like gives them such full and utter permission to be exactly who they are.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: And I'm guessing that's what happened for you when you discovered it.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: So can you talk a little about kind of ways you might have journeyed into self-acceptance or things you came to understand about yourself through your own journey with human design?
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: So I'm a projector.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: And I think that when I first discovered human design, I was like desperately trying to be a generator.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: I was just like, I'm gonna do and keep up.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: And like I was living in New York City and I was in the startup world.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: And so I think that like learning that I wasn't meant to be a doer, and that like my kind of natural ability to just like tune into people and ask the right questions was a real gift and like a thing that I could base a career around was just like kind of shocking to me, you know?
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And it's kind of what I always was doing, anyways, and what I was always being valued for, but I was like, is that allowed?
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And so I think really kind of allowing in more rest and knowing it only makes me better at what I do was really key.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: I think it was really powerful for me to learn that like I wasn't meant to initiate or chase or force, which I had definitely been doing.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: I felt like that was like the best way to hustle, you know, and so to kind of learn that I was actually here to be invited in and recognized and appreciated was just opposite of the way that I'd been operating, you know, and it's really led to such a more successful career for me, but also one that has felt so much better.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: I think it was a big lesson for me that like as a non-doer, I'm not here to do it all alone.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: So I think kind of really allowing and support and just like honing in on the aspect of my business where I really offer the most value.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: But there are so many pieces, but I would say biggest ones are just like not forcing and waiting to be invited, and also just like knowing that I'm here to rest and I'm here to have ease and space in my days, and like I'm so much better at everything when I do that, you know, and so just giving myself a lot more permission to kind of just build a business and exist in a way that feels so much better.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it almost sounds like a sigh of relief when you say that I just need to rest and everything's better when I do.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: And I just I think relief is probably the most common sentiment.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Like, I think human design often doesn't tell us anything new, it just like gives us a language where like, oh my God, I've been feeling these things my entire life.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And like you've just given me a language for that, you know?
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And now hearing that and having tools to do it, like I just feel like I can settle into that and live that like so much more powerfully.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: So then I'm curious to know too, like, how do you work with people or utilize human design to really help people apply it in their lives?
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: And like, how does that all look?
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: You know, I think what I've really discovered in my journey is that like most people don't want to learn human design, like it's a very dense, overwhelming system, as you mentioned.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: They just want to know like how to live, use their human design to live their best life.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: So all of our offerings are really around that.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: The biggest place that I work with people is um we offer something called the blueprint book, and it basically is like a written manual to your unique design.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And so it walks you through all the most essential pieces, and it's just like a book all about you that you can like keep returning to so people buy for their families and teams and friends.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: And so I kind of think that's the best place to start because it is meant to be a thing that you keep returning to, and it's kind of like a coffee table book where you're like every day, like a new thing pops out around, like, oh, this is why I think this thing is challenging and why I could like experience more flow here.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of the best place.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: And then I also I've definitely been winding down my sessions, but I do sit with people for conversations.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: It's really nice to talk to them about how to use their design to find more flow, whether it's individually or in their families or partnerships.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: And I actually just launched um an education, a course last week.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: I think that I've been being asked to teach for like five years, and I'm like, not the time, not the time.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: So I finally said yes to that.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm about to kind of go in with my first cohort and really kind of teach them how to really understand the chart and how to really kind of offer guidance to other people.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: So there are lots of different avenues, but I think it's really all through the lens of just delivering human design in the most kind of empowering, practical, and relatable way.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: And I think I actually got one of those blueprints a while ago, and now you're reminding me, and I need to go back and look at it again.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's meant to be a thing that you keep going back to, like not a thing that you read once.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Because I think I read it like a couple of times and then didn't go back and look at it.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: I actually think I should print it out.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: It's harder on the computer, you know.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: I think that like when you print it out and like even have it by your bed, it just like offers you through a minor to be like, I'm just gonna keep kind of checking on that.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: And then just really kind of tuning in.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: So I know we talked about the high level stuff, but what else is really important to look for in your human design?
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: Like, even for the person who is just looking at their chart, and if they see I know the numbers are like a thing, and there's all this stuff.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: So, like, what would be some of the other things that would be just important to be aware of or know?
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so there's so much, and I want to just kind.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Like acknowledge what you said at the beginning around overwhelm.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Like, I think that I could talk to somebody for 10 hours about their design.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: And that's probably not what they need.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: You know, after 60 minutes, like, I'm tuned now.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: What's going on?
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: So I think that like one thing I would just remind people of is that like more information is not better.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: And I would just kind of start with the most important fundamental pieces and then like know that you can always learn more.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: You know, even when I share a lot with people, I'm just like, take what feels good, come back and listen, go back and read your blueprint later, like come back to it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: So I just want to acknowledge that.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: Like you don't have to learn it all at once.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: The pieces that I include in the blueprint, because I think they're the most important ones, is the type that we talked about, the strategy, which is basically kind of how you can create the most aligned opportunities in your life.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: There's something called our inner authority, which speaks to how we best make decisions, whether that's kind of trusting your gut in the moment, sleeping on things, talking things out.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: There's something called our definition, which basically speaks to how we best process things, like whether we're more independent, collaborative.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: There's a piece of our design called our open or undefined centers.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: These are the white shapes.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: And those are really important because it's basically like where we're the most sensitive to others and can often get the most taken off track, but also where we have the most to learn.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: The colored in shapes and the colored in lines are called your channels and your defined centers.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: I love sharing about this because that's kind of where your energy is most consistent.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Like what are your strengths that you can always rely on?
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: And then your profile, the numbers, that fraction-looking number is so useful because it's really around how you best align with your purpose.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: But it honestly goes way beyond career into like everything else.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: And then the last piece of something called are not self-insignature.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: And those are just very simple tools that keep you on track.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I just want to say too, the one reading I had, it ended up being like over two hours.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: And I remember feeling, and it was amazing, but I remember feeling exactly what you said, where I was like on information overload and I couldn't like take it in anymore.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: But everything she was saying was so right and spot on.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: And like I actually felt like I wanted to take go back and listen to the recording and then like write down stuff she said and use it on my website or in my bio because I felt like she was describing exactly what I do for people.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 24:07unknown: Yeah.
- 24:07unknown: Yeah.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Human design gives us language, it's actually so useful in marketing.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: But yes, it is like I think so often it's not about like memorizing every piece, but about like really embodying and experimenting with it.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: And like I remember the one thing that really stuck out to me was the way she described like how I synthesize information that I can take from what I'm feeling or like what's out here, and like synthesize it and bring it down and explain it in like a very like teachable way for people.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: And I was like, oh my God, that's exactly what I do.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: And it was just like this moment of whoa, like that's what I've been doing.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: And this is like exact like the way she was describing it.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: So it was really, really cool in that way.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: So I know we have like the numbers too.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: Can we talk a little bit about what the numbers mean?
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: Because I know most people know what their numbers are.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: And I'd love to get your interpretation of that.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: So this is a piece called our profile.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: So if you look up your chart, you'll see a fraction-looking number.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: It's not actually a fraction, but it will be something like a one-three, a six, two, a four, one, a two, four.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: And there are 12 different profiles, but there are six different numbers that they're possibly made up of.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: So I'll just kind of briefly go through the six different numbers so you can kind of pay attention to which ones are yours.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: So if you're two, four, listen to the two, four.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: If you're a five, one, listen to the five, one.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Every combination is a little bit different, but this will kind of give you the most essential pieces.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: So if there's a one anywhere in your profile, which is true for you, it basically means that these people are very natural investigators.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: It's really healthy to kind of like investigate and dive deeply into things and just build a really strong foundation of knowledge and like anything that you're curious about.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: And also, what gives you security, what makes you a great teacher is when you're like, I know what I'm talking about.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: I have gone deep, I've learned so much, I have so much to share.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: And so, really kind of taking the time to build that foundation.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: And also, I would say really following your curiosity, knowing that like really kind of like carving up time to like dive deep into the details and understand things is so important.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: And there can often be a bit of insecurity if it feels like you don't know enough, but it often just is a signal that like there's more to learn.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Makes sense to you?
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel like that's what I've been doing my whole life, kind of without even really realizing it.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: And then fast forward till now, and I'm more in like a leadership role in teaching, and I'm like kind of reflecting of wow, I have been diving deep into this stuff for so long, whether it's like the trauma stuff or the healing stuff or whatever it is.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: It wasn't like I was like, oh, I'm investigating this, I'm trying to figure this out.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: It was just something that I naturally did, you know.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: So that, yeah, it makes total sense.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: And that's often our design.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Like, I think that like when we're aware of like who we are, we're just doing it.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And human design just validates it.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: If you have a two in your profile, there's a very natural hermit energy.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: This doesn't mean that you've got to be hermiting all the time, but it does mean like time and space alone to be in your own flow is so important, so nourishing.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Um, and the two is also around bringing this like innate genius and talent to whatever it is that you do, often in ways that you can't explain.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: And so you're just really kind of here to like lean know what comes easily and naturally, and then really trust that like that's where your greatest gifts lie.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Often with a two, we like don't assign worth to it.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: It's like, can I actually be paid for that thing?
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: It comes so easily.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: And it's like, oh, that's exactly what you're meant to be paid for.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: So really kind of tapping into that.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: If you have a three, which is also you, there's a very experimental nature to these people.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Like you're really here to bump into things and make mistakes and be very naturally entrepreneurial.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: You just learn through trial and error.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: And so I would say one of your biggest lessons is not making yourself wrong for making a mistake, but just knowing that everything that doesn't work brings you closer to what does.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: And often like a thing not working is like the essential puzzle piece to kind of really reveal what does work, you know?
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: And like you've got to get your hands dirty to discover where that thing is.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: So where people could get tripped up is like waiting for things to be perfect before they jump in.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: And for you, it's like, I'm just gonna jump in, let it be messy, fail a lot, discover everything that doesn't work, and just like keep improving and make it amazing.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: And I would not hesitate from sharing your journey with the world because often when you share your own trial and error and the things you learned, tried, made mistakes around, it can be so transformative and valuable for other people.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I definitely feel that.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel like I've created my whole system of what I do with people.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: Basically, my whole methodology that I'm teaching people is around my own trial and error, essentially.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's but it's you're meant to, like your embodied experience is so supportive and useful for other people.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: And I feel like that's what I end up teaching.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: But again, I'm not even really realizing it until you're saying it.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, oh, yeah, that's basically what I'm doing, is with healing trauma and the stuff that I do with people.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: It's like I just did all of this myself.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: So now I'm just owning it and being like, okay, this is what I've done.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: And now I'm gonna teach you how to do it.
- 28:50unknown: Exactly.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: Right on.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: You're like, that's exactly it, you know.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: And I would just like I would really focus that on your marketing.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: Like, I've tried this, I've learned this, you know, and it's really kind of be can be so compelling and magnetic to other people.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: If you have a four, it's really around community and around the importance of your relationships.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: Like these people, their opportunities are all meant to come through the people that they know.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: And so, really, kind of investing in and nourishing their relationships, like create aligned opportunities in every area of their life, romantic business and beyond, really healthy for them to work with friends, date friends, to kind of have that foundation of friendship with like everyone that's close in their life.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: The five is around being a very natural problem solver and fixer.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: They're not really here to solve everything, but they really kind of just are here to offer these really practical solutions.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: So I'd really check in on like which problems they feel the most uniquely excited to solve.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: And one thing to watch out for with the five is that people can project a lot of things onto them that they can like be or do a certain thing.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: And so I would just encourage them to really kind of connect to what feels like them and really kind of be guided by that and not by what others want from them.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: And the last one is a six.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: And the six is really around being a role model, a teacher, an authority, seeing things from like a higher perspective.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: And often these people live their life in three phases where the first 30 years is meant to be a time of tremendous trial and error and bumping into things and making mistakes.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: And 30 to 50 is really a time to kind of just embody their lessons in a deeper and deeper way, see things from more perspective.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: Um, and they're meant to hit their prime when they turn 50, not because they have to wait for anything, but just because it's meant to keep getting better and better and better.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: And they're meant to serve as such an embodied example of authenticity where they inspire others to be themselves by just being themselves so fully.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: As somebody that has a six, like I see it as a thing to like look forward to more than anything else.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you for sharing all that.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: I'm sure people are like it's it's very helpful for people.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: I guess I'm interested too.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: Is this all like I know it has roots in different schools of thought, but was it kind of like channeled?
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: Because it's so comprehensive and so like it almost feels like it's from another realm or it was you know what I mean?
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: I'm sure you know more than I do about that, but yeah, it feels so channeled or so I don't know the word, just from somewhere else, I guess.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's like so crazy that we could know this much information about ourselves based on our time, date, and place of birth.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Um, this system is entirely channeled, like it's not a thing that came from us watching people because I think that like so much of the magic of human design is that like it not only reveals all the things that are like conscious and like the things that we recognize in ourselves, but it reveals like all this really unconscious stuff, like all this kind of energetic stuff underneath the surface that we perhaps are not aware of, but is really a big part of us.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: And so the founder is no longer alive.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: His name was Ra Uhuruhu, and he basically had a really mystical experience where he was in a visa in 1987.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: He was walking home one night and heard a voice, and the voice was like, it's time to work.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: And for basically eight days and eight nights, he received all this information, and then he spent the next 20 years building it out.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: And so it was like you said, it's like it feels a little bit otherworldly in that way because it's like, how can we ever know this much, you know?
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: And he was kind of an unexpected receiver of the information, you know.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: I think that what I loved listening to Ra is like he doesn't feel like a super mystical guy, you know, he's he's just kind of like it happened, you know, and he kind of has this really grounded perspective around it all.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: But yes, it was a thing that really kind of came through and didn't come through analysis.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: And and one thing I would just say is like you might have a more mystical audience, but I work with a lot of skeptics, and I would just say that what matters is whether it's useful, like not whether it's true.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: So, like if you feel curious, like dig in, see if it feels useful.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: That's really the most important piece.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: I'll just say, in my experience, it's often so useful for people.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: And I've had many people that are very resistant to it because they're like, I don't know, it's too crazy.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: But then they're like, it's so like they're like, it's so specific.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Like there's just no way that you could know this about me.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: And so, like, it really kind of like breaks something down where they're like, I just like you gotta tell me more, even though this is crazy.
- 32:49SPEAKER_01: Totally, yeah.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: The other thing that I that I'm wondering too is what would you say?
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: It's almost like a nature versus nurture question.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: What do you feel like is the relationship between your human design and then your life experiences and how those shape you versus your human design and how that shapes you?
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like I think it's both, you know, like our human design isn't gonna, it's not gonna tell you again, like this is the path you're going down, this is who you're gonna meet.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: But it's more like this is your operating system.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Like you make decisions based on your gut, you know, and like you are really empathic or whatever it is.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: And I think that like we are so impacted in life by different things and conditioned by different people, and human design reveals all the ways that we are conditioned and affected by others.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: And so it's both, you know.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: I think human design gives us our blueprint, but often like when I sit with people, they've gotten really far away from that.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: Like they were living their design so purely when they were young, and then they kind of like got lost in like everything they thought they were supposed to be.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: And so then they're kind of returning to their human design.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: So that's why it's so useful to know.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: I think it like helps us navigate the nurture.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: What are the right experiences, what are the right influences, what are the right people?
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Because we're all sensitive in such different ways.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And I think knowing where we're sensitive and where we're the most impacted is so useful, you know, because where we can get taken off track is when we kind of like condition by things that aren't ours and like take them on as our own thing.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, totally.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's kind of what we're all unraveling right now.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: You know, as a collective, that's why I mean, I guess that kind of brings me into my next question.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: I was gonna ask you about what your thoughts are around, you know, what's happening in the world right now and all the changes that are happening and how you feel like it's not a mistake that it came more recently, right?
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: To us.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: I think it's just such a powerful tool for us to use during these times.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: But like, I just love to get your perspective on that as far as where we are now and how this can help us through this awakening process that we're in.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I think a couple things.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: One is that like I think it really is a great system to help us trust ourselves.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I think so often we've been looking for advice from others in terms of like talking to friends, like, what do we do?
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, and like really disconnected.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: And I think human design really helps us tap into like how do we know what's right for us, you know, and how do we know when and how we know where to put our energy?
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: And so, like, that feels so important to know.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: And like, I really saw my own business.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: There was like such a growth beginning in 2020 because I think people were just like became a little bit intolerant of being in jobs they didn't enjoy, you know, like there was just a little bit more like, what is right for me and how am I really here to serve?
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: And so I think human design is such an amazing tool for that.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: I would also say that we live in a really divisive time.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: And I think what I really appreciated about human design is that like it reminds us that we're all really, really different.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: And the more we really honor and learn those differences, the closer we become.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: And so, like, I just feel like there's a power of like, let's like appreciate how different we are and then like find ways to communicate through it all, you know?
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: And so I don't think we've gotten to that side yet.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: Um, but but I do think that like even in these smaller, more you know, nuclear environments, or whether it's our families or teams or partnerships, I think when we really like understand our differences and don't try to be the same, there's so much compassion and understanding and flow that's available.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: And so, like, I worked with so many families and teens and communities during this time, and like it's been really nice for them to be like, wow, I've been so pissed at this person because they're different than me.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: And now that I know how different they are, like I actually am so appreciative of it because I realize like we bring such different things to the table.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: And like I think the more we realize how different we are, the more we realize we realize how much we need each other.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: So I don't really know how that lesson will play out, but I think that's been kind of one of my favorite things is like we don't reveal our differences to bring us further apart.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Like we reveal our differences to bring us closer together, you know, and it's just about kind of really honoring and appreciating that.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: And I love what you said about trust and acceptance.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: Cause first of all, yes, I totally agree, just to backtrack for a second about we're so conditioned to look outside of us for answers and to like rely on other people or ask your friend, or just this idea that there's some external authority outside of you that knows better than you do.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: So this is just such a powerful tool to like bring you back to that sense of trust for yourself.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: Because that's kind of like this bigger lesson that we're all learning right now.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: And then also that when you have like that trust, not only trust, but acceptance for yourself, then you're able to accept other people.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: So I think that that is a big issue right now because all the divisiveness is kind of feeding on people's trauma and pain and unacknowledged non-acceptance of their self that then gets projected outward to be like, well, you don't think like I do, so you're my enemy.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: And also like a real need for certainty about things that are not certain.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: And so so as you look at someone's chart, you're like, you're not gonna be certain, you're gonna see all their perspectives, you know.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: So it is, I think that like what's so cool about human design is you can see where people are getting pulled into their shadow, you know, and like what the wisdom really looks like.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: And I just feel like I get pulled into my shadow all the time, you know.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: But knowing what the shadow is allows you to move out of it so much more powerfully.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: But go ahead, I interrupted you.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: No, that's okay.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: I totally agree.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: I was just saying that moving into this place of self-acceptance through human design, because I know that for me, it brought me into like this big space of not only acceptance, but like validation, you know, because I feel like a lot of times too, especially for those of us on this spiritual path and like wanting to help other people, like you kind of have an awareness about yourself, but you don't really have words for what you're supposed to do or like what it is that you're doing, you know, and this is just one way for me that it was like, oh shit, this is actually a thing that I'm doing, it's not like something that I'm just making up in my head.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: Yes, totally.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: And that's why human design can be so validating.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: It's like we can make ourselves so wrong for being ourselves.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: And human design is like, oh yeah, like you're right on track.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: And like, here's all this language you can use and like tools you can use to step into it even more.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: And that was so helpful for me.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: And it's just, I feel like right now, this is something that I want everybody to do.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: I know, right?
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: I'm like, everyone.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Then I'm like, you know what, Aaron?
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: No, whoever wants it, whoever's ready, but I will just say that like human design has the potential when communicated like well, to just be a real bridge.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: I've just found the most skeptical people loving it because it's so specific and so practical.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: And so I think human design has the potential to kind of reach people that perhaps were not as excited or open as some of this mystical stuff in the past because it really is like so down to earth in a way that I think people can really understand.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: And I love the idea of doing it within like the family too.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: Like I've done my kids, I don't remember everything.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: I know my daughter is a projector, and I always keep that in mind.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: And I think my son and me and my husband are all manifesting generators, but if I project your daughter, she's in a lot of energy.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: I know she gets easily overwhelmed by it, but also like she goes with the flow a lot.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: She's really, really good like that.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: But it's so valuable just to know, like within the family unit and like really starting to be able to understand on an energetic level, like where everybody's at and how to navigate your relationships through that lens.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: Do you ever work with families or like I know you said you work with people in workplaces too?
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I think that like when I first started my business, I was purely focused on human design for business back in 2015 because like I came from a startup background.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: I was like, teams need this.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: And I think that starting in 2017, I like brought in big time because I was just like, everybody needs this.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: But some of my favorite work is definitely within groups.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: Like I work with so many individuals, but I think really working with families and romantic partnerships and business partnerships and teams is so amazing because it's the same thing for all of them.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: It's just like let me really understand them and really know how to support them.
- 40:29SPEAKER_00: And I would say probably the most potent and powerful application of human design is parenting.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: Because like I think kids are embodying their design very purely often when they're young.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: And then, like I said, they get conditioned out of it and then they kind of find human design later or whatever later, and they're like, oh, like I knew what I was doing, and then I just got pulled away.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: Like, I gotta come back.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: But I think like from such a young age, to really kind of give your kids permission to be who they are from day one is like the most powerful thing you could do, especially for your projector daughter who's in a family of all manifesting generators and could probably very easily be conditioned and be like, that's how I'm supposed to be too, you know?
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: And so, like, it's such a powerful tool in parenting.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm so glad you already use it.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: But like I've sat with so many parents that are like, why is this kid not doing this?
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: I'm like, they're not meant to, you know, they're different than you.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: And so I think it really is such an amazing area to kind of bring a lot more understanding and compassion into families.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, totally.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: I love that you brought that up.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: Now I'm gonna go back and look more at their because I haven't I haven't looked in a little while.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: When I was first getting into human design, I did it for everyone, but now I have to go back and look.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: But I also just want to ask, too, for business and for people that are entrepreneurs and business owners, what would you say is anything that's really important around like what to keep in mind around your human design when it comes to going down this path of entrepreneurship and the personal growth that it kind of pushes you towards and all of that stuff?
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a rough journey, you know.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: It's an intense one.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love it.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: I don't think I would choose anything else.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: And it's really intense, you know?
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Again, I know human design is not for everyone, but I would really dig into human design or another system to kind of really just like, or just into yourself to really think about like what is the business that you want to build and how do you want to do it?
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: I think that I've worked with so many clients that have built very successful businesses, but they've done it in a way that's totally unsustainable and doesn't feel good.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: And I think the magic of human design is like not only how can you build a business in a way that works for you and like know what support you need, but how can you just like do it in a way that feels good and is sustainable?
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: And so I think it's such an amazing tool in entrepreneurship to be like, how do I operate?
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: What are my gifts?
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: Where can I get taken off track?
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: What support do I need?
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: Like, what is each shade like meant to look like?
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: I know for me it's been so transformative and kind of building my business aligned with my design, you know, and it's been so different than what I tried to do pre-human design.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: So I just think it's an amazing tool in entrepreneurship to just really support you in building a business that like not only does well, but just like really works for you and like really just feels really good, and where you're just like not trying to do it all alone and you have like the perfect support around you.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: I'm like getting all of these downloads as you're talking, like about like how I can do because sometimes I get like I was saying, I get like kind of fidgety a little bit where I'm like, especially if things are a little bit the same all the time.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm like, okay, how can I change up?
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: I can make my days different, but sometimes it's like, well, I have this weekly call and I have this weekly call and I have this weekly call.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: So I'm like really just kind of getting some more information of like, okay, how can I like change things up for myself and make things different on a daily basis?
- 43:32SPEAKER_01: So I have because I think I really thrive in structure and routine, but changing it up within that like structure and routine.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: It's important for you.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: Like you've got to keep it interesting.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: And it's I'm really realizing that like as we're talking right now, because I think that's something I haven't really allowed myself to fully embrace.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: I don't even know why.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: We can have a lot of stories around like why we shouldn't do it that way.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: And I also think like the conditioning that we have too.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Like I was talking about this the other day with somebody about just how we're so conditioned to like have that nine to five way of working, even if we do work for ourselves.
- 44:16SPEAKER_01: And also like I have kids that are in school.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: So like I have these set times of when I have to work and we're kind of conditioned that we need to build out our lives around those hours.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: And I worked in this in schools for like over a decade.
- 44:31SPEAKER_01: Like I was a school counselor.
- 44:33SPEAKER_01: So I am so used to that way of living that I think I like unconsciously kind of structured my business in that way as well.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: And I probably need to shake it up a little bit.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: 100%.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: And you're just like here to do it very differently as a manifesting generator.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: Like you're really meant to build a business, not in the way that you think you should, or like the way that any existing structures offered you, but like the way that feels fun and good and exciting and juicy, you know, and expansive.
- 45:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: Well, this like totally sparks something in me.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm so glad.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: So thank you so much for sharing all of this.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: Can you share?
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: I know you said you have a course coming up, but anything exciting that you have going on, and then also where people can find you.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: Yes, of course.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: So I'm on Instagram at Aaron Clare Jones and Human Design Blueprint.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: Um, if you do want to get your blueprint, so the written guide to your design, that's all at human designblueprint.com.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: NRG will be the discount code.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and that's like the best place to start.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: If you're like, I want to know my design, all the unique pieces, I want it in a book form, I want to keep going back to it.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: I do offer sessions, but I'm not booking till September right now.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: That's all at erinclairjones.com.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: That can be used as an individual session, family session, partnership session.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: And then I did, if you're like, I'm obsessed, I want to learn human design, I want to share human design with the world.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Um, I just launched a course, and that is honestly not even on my website, but you can find if you go to my Instagram, Aaron Claire Jones, it will be my bio.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: That's a 12-week kind of live course with me to really kind of dive into all the most essential pieces and really kind of how to support others um in understanding those things more deeply, as well as how to kind of integrate them more powerfully in your own life.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: That sounds amazing.
- 46:12SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, now I need to go back and print out my human design blueprint.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: And I'd love to do like a family session.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: So oh my god, it's the best.
- 46:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I think that'll be so helpful for us.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: We just went through a year of like lots of transitions and like working really hard on our family dynamics and relationships.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: So I think it would be like such a perfect thing to kind of give us even more insight on how we relate to each other.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: So I love that.
- 46:38SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 46:39SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: Thank you for sharing that.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: And so for our last question for you, what do you feel is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: Honestly, similar to what we've been talking about in terms of like not looking to others, I think probably the biggest thing for me is like time alone and like time honestly disconnected from just phone other things.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: Like, I think that when I get off track and really disconnected from my own consciousness and self is like when I'm just like overstimulated by all the things.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: So I think just like sacred time to be with myself and really just like tap in and connect, I think is probably the most powerful thing to really connect to myself, um, to my consciousness and everything else and to kind of live the most aligned life.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: So I think it's like time alone, but the right kind of time alone that feels really sacred and intentional.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: I a hundred percent agree with you.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: If I don't get time alone, I turn into like a monster.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: I'm terrible.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, I know that I can be better, but now at this moment I cannot be.
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: No, like I just can't go on until I'm by myself.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so and again, there's we live in like the most overstimulated world ever right now.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: And so I think it requires like such deliberate effort to just be like, I'm gonna create that space and I'm gonna like guard it with my life, you know.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: So I have for myself.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: And it's an act of self-love.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 47:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, which is so important on this path of coming back to loving ourselves.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: So I love that you shared that.
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: So thank you so much for being here.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: This was amazing.
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm sure everyone will be getting their blueprint.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: So thank you for sharing that.
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, we will talk to you soon.
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: My pleasure.
