- 0:01Speaker 1: Broadcasting live across the world right now. This is the
- 0:06Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich radio program.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I threw this up on my Facebook last week just
- 0:10Speaker 2: for funzies. I was like, what did you accidentally leave
- 0:13Speaker 2: in a hot car? And I couldn't believe the comments
- 0:16Speaker 2: and the responses and thought we'd bring it up on
- 0:19Speaker 2: the air. Lindsey, what did you leave in a hot car?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Good morning everyone. So I am I have slightly a
- 0:28Speaker 3: diet coke addiction, and I was heading to Tampa. I
- 0:31Speaker 3: live out here in Florida, and decided to put a
- 0:34Speaker 3: thirty five pack of diet coke from Sam's Club in
- 0:37Speaker 3: the back of my car.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Not thinking.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I went into my meeting in Tampa, Florida, and pulled
- 0:44Speaker 3: out after the meeting, and all of a sudden, I
- 0:46Speaker 3: hear an explosion. I was like, oh my goodness, what
- 0:49Speaker 3: is that. Six of them exploded in the back of
- 0:53Speaker 3: my car, But because it was covered with a plastic,
- 0:56Speaker 3: it was loud. So I get to the hotel, I
- 0:59Speaker 3: go to a low with the diet coke, the grenades
- 1:02Speaker 3: of diet coke. I pulled them all out and the
- 1:05Speaker 3: last one exploded all over the front of me. In
- 1:07Speaker 3: front of the whole group of people of the mess.
- 1:10Speaker 3: It was an absolute disaster.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Now that's something I did. I don't think I knew
- 1:14Speaker 5: that that cans of soda would explode in a hot car,
- 1:17Speaker 5: but I guess it makes sense.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Body, It was a mess. The only bright side of
- 1:22Speaker 3: it is the plastic contained it, so it wasn't too
- 1:26Speaker 3: big of a mess in my car. But I was
- 1:27Speaker 3: definitely covered in diet coke and of course in front
- 1:30Speaker 3: of all my coworkers in front of the hotel, just
- 1:33Speaker 3: diet coke everywhere.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's very funny and sad at the same time.
- 1:37Speaker 2: By the way, Tampa, Florida on the list of the
- 1:39Speaker 2: ten sweatiest cities. It's number six.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Absolutely hey, and I actually know all of you. I
- 1:45Speaker 3: have a love Pup dog. I actually did the event
- 1:48Speaker 3: at your house back in twenty seventeen for Love Pup
- 1:51Speaker 3: with Caravas.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Oh forgot you got that black dog? That really cute
- 1:56Speaker 2: black dog from US.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Yep, I got Hannah. She is nine years old and
- 2:00Speaker 3: she has two four year old brothers right now, two
- 2:03Speaker 3: Golden Retrievers.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Are you still Are you still with Carabas?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I am actually with Bonefish Grill now the same umbrella
- 2:12Speaker 3: of restaurants, and that's how I ended up out here
- 2:14Speaker 3: in Florida.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Well, thanks for listening Lindsey and participating.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I listened to your podcast as I
- 2:20Speaker 3: drive across the state every day.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Thanks Lindsey. We'll have a great day stand with in
- 2:25Speaker 2: that die of Coke. She listened to the podcast on
- 2:29Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts, you search
- 2:31Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich on demand. Abby, Abby, good.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Morning, Hey, how are you guys?
- 2:37Speaker 2: What did you accident? Leave in a hot car?
- 2:39Speaker 4: Well?
- 2:40Speaker 6: I live in Glendale, Arizona, so it's very very hot
- 2:44Speaker 6: most days, and I am a respite provider for artistic children,
- 2:50Speaker 6: and in order to transport them, by law, you have
- 2:53Speaker 6: to have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher
- 2:56Speaker 6: in your car at all times when you're transporting them.
- 2:59Speaker 6: So two summers ago was my first summer. I go
- 3:03Speaker 6: out to the car and I didn't even read the
- 3:06Speaker 6: directions when they gave it to me, So I just
- 3:07Speaker 6: put it in the cup holder of my car door
- 3:11Speaker 6: and just called it good. And it's been there for
- 3:13Speaker 6: you know, eight months at this point, and I go
- 3:16Speaker 6: out to my car, open it up and at this point,
- 3:20Speaker 6: this poor little elderly couple was walking across the street
- 3:23Speaker 6: when I was doing this, and when I opened it up,
- 3:25Speaker 6: it just exploded. The whole cap fell off. The whole
- 3:29Speaker 6: cap just went like fifty feet in the air. The
- 3:31Speaker 6: fire expquiencor fell out of the car. I thought we
- 3:33Speaker 6: were getting shot at, and us in the the elderly
- 3:38Speaker 6: couple both like hit cover.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:41Speaker 6: And then in the middle of the street here comes
- 3:44Speaker 6: the little cap just flopped in the middle of the street.
- 3:47Speaker 6: And then we realized that it was the fire extinguisher
- 3:49Speaker 6: that just exploded out of my the Thank goodness, it
- 3:53Speaker 6: was the car door that was open, because it just
- 3:57Speaker 6: went straight up in the air instead of into the car.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Was there foam everywhere?
- 4:01Speaker 6: There, absolutle crap out of me?
- 4:02Speaker 7: Huh?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Was there foam everywhere like in the movies.
- 4:05Speaker 6: And they show No, it was just the cap and
- 4:08Speaker 6: the Yeah. No, there was just no foam everywhere. So
- 4:12Speaker 6: now I have to keep I got another one, and
- 4:14Speaker 6: I have to keep it in my backpack, and I
- 4:16Speaker 6: just bring my backpack whenever I have to transport one
- 4:19Speaker 6: of the kiddos. But I don't keep it in my
- 4:20Speaker 6: car anymore because you know obviously it's not not safe. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 6: I thought I was getting shot at.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet that's crazy. Well, thanks for calling in, Ebbie.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Thanks for listening too, Cinnamon. What did you accidentally leave
- 4:34Speaker 2: in a hot car?
- 4:35Speaker 8: An onion?
- 4:36Speaker 9: Actually it has rolled out of a grocery bag, but
- 4:38Speaker 9: I didn't realize it at the time. I just couldn't
- 4:40Speaker 9: understand why my car smelled.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Like Italian.
- 4:47Speaker 9: Yeah, and it had gotten somehow between the second roast
- 4:51Speaker 9: seat and the third ROAs seat because I had my
- 4:53Speaker 9: third road seats down and I've always left them down,
- 4:55Speaker 9: so I would search the car and I'm like, I
- 4:57Speaker 9: don't understand where the smell is coming from until I
- 5:00Speaker 9: went to the car wash and they had actually pulled
- 5:02Speaker 9: up my seats and they're like, ma'am, there's like an
- 5:04Speaker 9: onion underneath your seat and I was like what And
- 5:08Speaker 9: the smell lasted for minds. Well, I had gotten the
- 5:11Speaker 9: vanilla like air freshener spray in there, so it smelled
- 5:14Speaker 9: like Italian vanilla.
- 5:18Speaker 10: It was.
- 5:18Speaker 9: It was awful. But that's the one thing I miss
- 5:20Speaker 9: about Arizona is the car wash. We don't have those
- 5:23Speaker 9: out here in Georgia, where they detail your car when
- 5:25Speaker 9: you bring it through.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Thanks, thanks for listening in Georgia.
- 5:29Speaker 11: Oh I love it.
- 5:30Speaker 9: I've been listening to you guys since the early two thousands,
- 5:33Speaker 9: and so if it wasn't for iHeartRadio, I don't think
- 5:35Speaker 9: i'd be able to like have a little piece of
- 5:37Speaker 9: home with me.
- 5:38Speaker 2: That's great. Good morning, Celeste, Good morning.
- 5:44Speaker 7: I'm in Colorado and I left edibles like gummy edibles
- 5:49Speaker 7: in my car.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Happened?
- 5:51Speaker 7: They melt, They will melt together in like one big
- 5:55Speaker 7: block edible.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Did you just eat it like an apple?
- 6:00Speaker 7: Pretty much? At that point, you just pass it around
- 6:02Speaker 7: and everybody takes a BikeE.
- 6:05Speaker 5: You created a game without even knowing it.
- 6:08Speaker 7: Yeah, you don't know if you know you're going to
- 6:10Speaker 7: get a bunch of it, or if you're not going
- 6:12Speaker 7: to get a bunch of it, or if it all
- 6:14Speaker 7: melted into the other bite. But it's kind of a
- 6:17Speaker 7: game of roulette at that point.
- 6:19Speaker 5: How long does it take but fifteen minutes or so
- 6:21Speaker 5: to figure it out once it gets through your system?
- 6:24Speaker 7: No, I think it's more like an hour thirty minutes
- 6:28Speaker 7: to an hour or so for when it, you know,
- 6:31Speaker 7: actually tries to kick in. But our tolerance in Colorado
- 6:35Speaker 7: is pretty high, so we don't I don't think that
- 6:39Speaker 7: you know, it affects U as much. But yeah, and
- 6:42Speaker 7: so now it's like no chocolate, you can't buy chocolate bars.
- 6:47Speaker 7: And yeah, don't leave your Demie edibles in your car
- 6:51Speaker 7: either when it's one hundred degrees outside.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Thanks Soles, thanks for listening.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Thank you guys, have a great day.
- 6:57Speaker 2: What did you accidentally leave in a hot car? So
- 7:00Speaker 2: I put on my Facebook and this I can't get
- 7:02Speaker 2: this visual out of my head because I want to
- 7:04Speaker 2: know what happened. But Sarah says, a stick of butter
- 7:06Speaker 2: in my cup holder where you dip your lobster in
- 7:12Speaker 2: the cup holder. Peter says, a gallon of contact adhesive.
- 7:17Speaker 2: The lid blew off, tipped over and spilled on all
- 7:20Speaker 2: over my back seat of my truck. Jennifer'says, not me,
- 7:24Speaker 2: but a girl I went to cosmetology school with left
- 7:26Speaker 2: the thing of hairspray in her car and it exploded
- 7:28Speaker 2: and went through her windshield. Whoa A camera says A
- 7:32Speaker 2: whole chicken fell out of the grocery bag and sat
- 7:36Speaker 2: in the Tucson's sun for a full day.
- 7:38Speaker 12: Oh I bet that smelled awful.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Totally dummy.
- 7:42Speaker 1: If you get three roses, it's a trap. Woar of
- 7:46Speaker 1: the Roses starts right now on John Jay and Ridge.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Four to seven. Kiss feb John Jay and Rich. It's
- 7:52Speaker 2: time for War of the Roses. Debbie thinks her husband's cheating,
- 7:56Speaker 2: so she's coming with us for advice. Debbie, we want
- 7:58Speaker 2: to hear your whole story. Then we're going to call
- 8:00Speaker 2: your husband. Tell him he just won a dozen romantic
- 8:03Speaker 2: red roses. He could send him to anybody he wants. Debbie,
- 8:06Speaker 2: good morning, What is your situation?
- 8:09Speaker 7: Hi guys.
- 8:10Speaker 13: Okay, so my husband is making me feel like I'm crazy,
- 8:15Speaker 13: but I swear that something is going on with him
- 8:19Speaker 13: and our son's teachers, because, like from back in December,
- 8:23Speaker 13: I quit my job, so for the first time, I
- 8:26Speaker 13: was able to take our son to school every morning.
- 8:28Speaker 13: Thinking that my husband would be relieved that he could
- 8:30Speaker 13: get to work earlier. He insisted on still taking him
- 8:35Speaker 13: drop off himself every single day, and I might ask
- 8:38Speaker 13: to like ride along, he'd get weird about it or
- 8:40Speaker 13: make some excuse, And then we went to the school
- 8:43Speaker 13: carnival at the end of the year.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Just a few weeks ago.
- 8:47Speaker 13: I'm watching him talk to our son's teacher made my
- 8:51Speaker 13: stomach job. You know, they were just way too comfortable
- 8:55Speaker 13: with each other, and it didn't feel like a parent
- 8:57Speaker 13: talking to a teacher. It felt like two people who
- 9:01Speaker 13: knew each other a little too well. So now that school, though,
- 9:07Speaker 13: our son is doing a summer program on the same campus,
- 9:10Speaker 13: and my husband is still acting strange. He's weirdly invested
- 9:15Speaker 13: in the drop offs and pickups, and every time I
- 9:18Speaker 13: bring it up, he tells me I'm overthinking it, And
- 9:22Speaker 13: maybe I am, But if I'm being honest, I don't
- 9:24Speaker 13: think my husband is excited to see our son every morning.
- 9:28Speaker 13: It seems like he's excited just to see the teacher.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Well, man, that's just that feeling.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You know, there is a problem right now in the
- 9:36Speaker 2: school system where I feel like teachers are getting better
- 9:39Speaker 2: looking every year. That's a problem when I was a kid.
- 9:43Speaker 2: When I was a kid, my teachers were old ladies
- 9:46Speaker 2: with like beehive hairdoes and glasses and mustaches. I like,
- 9:54Speaker 2: you go, I remember picking up again to school to
- 9:56Speaker 2: all the teachers that are, like, man, they're all good
- 9:57Speaker 2: looking guys and girls. They're all handsome, they're all beautiful,
- 10:00Speaker 2: Like what the heck is going on.
- 10:02Speaker 14: And that's the problem. That's the problem in America today.
- 10:06Speaker 2: We need to pass the proposition you got to you
- 10:09Speaker 2: gotta be a fiver.
- 10:10Speaker 14: Under Sorry, Debbie.
- 10:20Speaker 13: I mean she is pretty, which isn't helping with my
- 10:23Speaker 13: spinning out and overthinking everything.
- 10:24Speaker 5: The weird thing is that they seem to have a
- 10:26Speaker 5: connection that you picked up on. That alone is weird cause.
- 10:30Speaker 15: He mentioned her like ever randomly throughout the house or
- 10:34Speaker 15: is it only that one situation you saw at the
- 10:36Speaker 15: carnival and then his you know, persistence in doing drop
- 10:39Speaker 15: off a pickup.
- 10:41Speaker 13: I've heard him talk about the teacher being like never
- 10:47Speaker 13: to me. When I ask about him, he completely shuts down.
- 10:50Speaker 13: But I've overheard him mention her name, and when I've
- 10:53Speaker 13: gotten tried to figure out what it was like getting closer,
- 10:56Speaker 13: he changes the subject. And I don't know. So I
- 11:01Speaker 13: just I know that she's very pretty, and you know,
- 11:05Speaker 13: and since I quit my job, he's like, it's just
- 11:09Speaker 13: you know, my friends have been like, it's just because
- 11:11Speaker 13: you know, you're feeling whatever about that.
- 11:15Speaker 7: And so I don't know.
- 11:15Speaker 13: I just I really just I'm spending too much time
- 11:19Speaker 13: spinning out about it, and I just would like some
- 11:21Speaker 13: kind of confirmation because it was just I mean, at
- 11:24Speaker 13: the carnival, I had to remind them that I was there.
- 11:28Speaker 14: I hate that, like he's trying to make you feel
- 11:31Speaker 14: crazy about it. Like that, to me is even more
- 11:33Speaker 14: suspicious than if you were just like you know, tried
- 11:36Speaker 14: to make you feel better or more comfortable about it.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Have you walked down to your husband talking to you
- 11:40Speaker 2: your son, like, has Miss Ferguson said anything about how
- 11:43Speaker 2: good I look, Miss Ferguson, like my outfit yesterday? All right, Debbie,
- 11:48Speaker 2: we're going to call your husbands or sends flowers to
- 11:51Speaker 2: what is your husband's name?
- 11:53Speaker 12: Frank?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Okay, hang tight, We're going to get him on the phone.
- 11:56Speaker 2: We're going to see who he sends flowers to. War
- 11:59Speaker 2: of the Roses to Us. Next with John Jane rich
- 12:02Speaker 2: I'm so.
- 12:02Speaker 16: Glad you're here as the person who currently occupies your attention.
- 12:06Speaker 16: I would like to thank you for listening to John
- 12:08Speaker 16: Jane rich John Jane Richard.
- 12:10Speaker 2: The Middle War of the Roses. Debbie thinks her husband Frank,
- 12:14Speaker 2: might have something going on with their kids elementary school
- 12:17Speaker 2: teacher he wants to go to drop off. She quit
- 12:20Speaker 2: her job in December and he still wants to go
- 12:22Speaker 2: to drop off. And she saw them at the card
- 12:26Speaker 2: and now school's over. But you saw them at the
- 12:27Speaker 2: summer carnival, right, and there was like something going on.
- 12:30Speaker 2: There was a history. There is what you're saying, right, Debbie.
- 12:32Speaker 13: Yeah, there was a serious tibe and I suddenly was
- 12:35Speaker 13: out of the picture when.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It was done too talking.
- 12:38Speaker 5: I mean that's all you need when it tests him.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, Kyle, are you ready?
- 12:42Speaker 12: I am ready?
- 12:43Speaker 2: All right, Debbie, here we go.
- 13:04Speaker 12: Hi, there is Frank available, yes and see. Oh good
- 13:08Speaker 12: morning Frank.
- 13:08Speaker 17: Just a man. I'm looking forward.
- 13:09Speaker 12: It's kind of your lucky day.
- 13:11Speaker 14: So my name is Bella and with a new company
- 13:13Speaker 14: we're called jan R Flowers and we're trying to.
- 13:14Speaker 12: Get the word out there.
- 13:15Speaker 14: So you've actually been chosen to be a part of
- 13:18Speaker 14: our social media campaign. You're like, we would love you
- 13:21Speaker 14: for you to be like a micro influencer. So kind
- 13:23Speaker 14: of what this means for you, Frank is you get
- 13:25Speaker 14: to send our most romantic bouquet of roses to anyone
- 13:28Speaker 14: you want.
- 13:29Speaker 12: It's totally free for you, and all.
- 13:31Speaker 14: We kind of ask in return is that you just
- 13:33Speaker 14: post about us on whichever platform you use.
- 13:35Speaker 12: The most.
- 13:38Speaker 14: Oh okay, yeah, it's I know you're worry about it,
- 13:41Speaker 14: but it's actually it's been working out really well for us,
- 13:44Speaker 14: sort of like a word of mouth sort of thing.
- 13:45Speaker 12: And like I said, it's not going to cost you anything.
- 13:47Speaker 14: I'm not going to ask you for your credit card
- 13:49Speaker 14: information or anything like that. The only personal information I'll
- 13:53Speaker 14: need to get from you is as personal as you
- 13:55Speaker 14: want to get on the card. We'll send out the
- 13:57Speaker 14: roses with a card, and I usually tell people like,
- 13:58Speaker 14: this is your chance to make this bouquet really from you,
- 14:02Speaker 14: So let me know what you want to write on
- 14:04Speaker 14: the card, the message, and then we'll go name and address,
- 14:07Speaker 14: and then i'll give you a time they should be delivered.
- 14:10Speaker 13: Oh okay, okay, I guess you'd write on there.
- 14:16Speaker 16: You make me feel ways.
- 14:19Speaker 7: I haven't in a long time.
- 14:22Speaker 12: You make me feel ways I haven't in a long time.
- 14:25Speaker 13: Mm hmm.
- 14:27Speaker 18: I'm sorry for coming on so strong.
- 14:30Speaker 10: While I'm still figuring things out.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I'll make it up to you, I promise.
- 14:37Speaker 12: Okay, I'm still figuring things out. I'll make it up
- 14:41Speaker 12: to you. I promise. Great, that's very sweet.
- 14:45Speaker 14: And then who did you want me to address this to?
- 14:47Speaker 14: Or do you want like the love at the end
- 14:49Speaker 14: of it?
- 14:49Speaker 13: Love Frank, Yeah, yeah, yeah, love Frank got it?
- 14:54Speaker 12: And then who do you want me to address this to?
- 14:58Speaker 13: Annah? Are you kidding me right now? You just you
- 15:06Speaker 13: just sends flowers to our son's teacher.
- 15:09Speaker 19: Oh my god, that Debby.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It's not it's not like that, you know, like that?
- 15:16Speaker 7: And what is it like?
- 15:17Speaker 13: Because where I'm sitting, it looks like my husband is
- 15:21Speaker 13: sending romantic flowers to another woman.
- 15:24Speaker 7: It's said it wasn't supposed to be romantic.
- 15:27Speaker 6: You know, she never she never said romantic flowers.
- 15:31Speaker 10: You know, he said love fight.
- 15:35Speaker 11: It's it's just, you know, sending flowers to the teacher,
- 15:39Speaker 11: you know.
- 15:40Speaker 10: You know, I say, I'm happy that.
- 15:42Speaker 18: Everybody like she's she's an incredible carter this year and
- 15:46Speaker 18: teachers are getting off credit.
- 15:48Speaker 7: You know, I sped to.
- 15:50Speaker 13: Be the president of Teacher Appreciation my Pam. You don't
- 15:54Speaker 13: get off about his other teachers.
- 15:56Speaker 7: That's not true.
- 15:56Speaker 13: I'm serious, But she's really helped a lot.
- 15:59Speaker 18: You know, I just wanted to I wanted to do
- 16:01Speaker 18: something nice.
- 16:02Speaker 13: She wanted to do something nice, and you want to
- 16:05Speaker 13: do something nice for her because I've known you for
- 16:08Speaker 13: twelve years and you forgot the anniversary that you're been
- 16:12Speaker 13: Suddenly you're own.
- 16:14Speaker 7: A third grade teacher. Come on, Debbie, that's not fair.
- 16:19Speaker 3: You know that.
- 16:19Speaker 2: No.
- 16:19Speaker 13: No, what's not fair is listening to you talk about
- 16:22Speaker 13: this woman like she's mother Teresa every time she comes up.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I don't talk about her like she's mother.
- 16:28Speaker 7: No.
- 16:28Speaker 13: I don't know what this is, but this is like,
- 16:31Speaker 13: if it's not full, I'm cheating at the least emotional cheating, right, Okay,
- 16:34Speaker 13: that's a huge accusation.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I think, oh, you're buying her flowers.
- 16:42Speaker 13: You're defending her harder than you're defending our marriage. That's
- 16:48Speaker 13: not fair, deb fair. No, no, you have been emotionally
- 16:55Speaker 13: stating our son's teacher while I've been sitting at home
- 16:58Speaker 13: thinking that the lo the crazy one. I'm losing my bike.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Eddy.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I am not emotionally dating her.
- 17:06Speaker 13: Okay, I know we're we're absolutely with this conversation.
- 17:11Speaker 14: Eddy.
- 17:12Speaker 18: You are blowing this so out of proportion.
- 17:14Speaker 3: My god, and you're a love a Carter's teacher, so
- 17:17Speaker 3: here we are.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I am not Okay. Hey, let you know Frank that
- 17:21Speaker 2: you're on the radio. John J. And Rich wore the
- 17:23Speaker 2: roses that's so you know, what's what's so you? In
- 17:27Speaker 2: the card, you said, I apologize for coming on too strong.
- 17:30Speaker 12: So that means you came on strong.
- 17:32Speaker 2: You came on strong, you crossed a boundary with the teacher,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and she let you know about it. A something to
- 17:37Speaker 2: think about. But then now you're setting her flowers.
- 17:40Speaker 12: It's all make it up to her.
- 17:42Speaker 2: That's even like coming on more too strong. I don't
- 17:45Speaker 2: know how strong. What you did the first time.
- 17:47Speaker 10: Its gesture of appreciation, ature to.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Say I'm sorry, I'm coming on too strong. Here's a
- 17:54Speaker 2: dozen romantic red roses.
- 17:58Speaker 14: I mean, paired with you, make me you feel ways
- 18:00Speaker 14: I haven't in a long time.
- 18:02Speaker 12: Has nothing to do with her teaching, dude, unless.
- 18:05Speaker 5: I've really got fired up about education.
- 18:08Speaker 10: I mean someone needs to stay and age.
- 18:12Speaker 17: You need to be apologize.
- 18:15Speaker 12: Own it.
- 18:16Speaker 2: So this so far, you haven't got physical with the teacher, right,
- 18:20Speaker 2: or have you?
- 18:20Speaker 12: Maybe that was him coming on right, maybe trying to kiss.
- 18:23Speaker 17: Her or something.
- 18:24Speaker 18: No, I would never, I would, no, I you know,
- 18:29Speaker 18: I don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Well, Debbie, you were right, Debbie, women's intuition. Let me
- 18:35Speaker 2: tell you, yeah, sorry about that, Debbie.
- 18:39Speaker 12: Debbie, listen to what you did Frank, right, I just I'm.
- 18:43Speaker 10: Trying to support ours.
- 18:49Speaker 12: No, you're gas lighting or it's like making it even worse.
- 18:53Speaker 10: Well, you know this is we know it crazy is
- 18:56Speaker 10: so blown out of so nuts. You know, it's just
- 18:59Speaker 10: like classic nuts.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Pay here.
- 19:02Speaker 18: You know.
- 19:05Speaker 13: I'm crazy, Yeashua, That's that's fine. You know what, Frank,
- 19:09Speaker 13: That's just fine. I'm the crazy one. That's cool.
- 19:15Speaker 7: I think that's great.
- 19:16Speaker 13: I think I think you're spot on not you in
- 19:21Speaker 13: love with all?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Right? Can we put it on whole Debby? You can
- 19:25Speaker 2: stitch up with the We do have a counselor. We
- 19:27Speaker 2: use everyone, so I haven't used it in a while,
- 19:28Speaker 2: but I think we need to connect you with our counselor,
- 19:31Speaker 2: and you too need to discuss this. But hold on
- 19:33Speaker 2: the line real quick. That's War of the Roses. Sorry
- 19:36Speaker 2: about that, Debbie. With John Jay and Rich.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You've got questions and we have four unqualified people to
- 19:42Speaker 1: give you answers. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Good morning, Carly. How are you today?
- 19:47Speaker 10: I am good?
- 19:48Speaker 3: How are you days?
- 19:49Speaker 2: You ready to play for some Ed Sharon tickets?
- 19:52Speaker 3: I am ready to play for Ed Sharon tickets.
- 19:54Speaker 1: We're playing truth or Trash today. You guys, I pulled
- 19:57Speaker 1: some some facts about Ed and you have to tell
- 20:00Speaker 1: me if they're real or if they're ones that I
- 20:02Speaker 1: just made up. Okay, let's go. Let's start with John J.
- 20:06Speaker 1: John Jay. Ed Sharon has a large Ketchup bottle on
- 20:09Speaker 1: his arm tattooed because he's obsessed with Heine's Ketchup.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Boy, that is a great trivia question. And I'm gonna
- 20:17Speaker 2: say what true or false or what's the answer you're
- 20:19Speaker 2: looking for. I'm gonna say truth.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Truth is the truth. It is correct. Good job John.
- 20:29Speaker 2: We'll move on now.
- 20:30Speaker 1: To Rich.
- 20:33Speaker 10: Rich.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Heines loved the tattoos so much they released a limited
- 20:37Speaker 1: edition ed chip ketchup inspired by him.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Well, now that's pretty good. Heines should be inspired by that.
- 20:45Speaker 5: So I'm gonna say truth.
- 20:46Speaker 1: And you know what, Huh, You're correct? Good job Rich.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Two point or excuse me. One point for John Jay.
- 20:52Speaker 1: One point for Rich Peyton. His song The A Team
- 20:57Speaker 1: was originally commissioned for The A Team reb Boots starring
- 21:00Speaker 1: Bradley Cooper. The studio ultimately passed.
- 21:04Speaker 17: Hmmm, I'm gonna say trash.
- 21:07Speaker 1: That is trash. Good job Peyton. One point. We're undefeated
- 21:12Speaker 1: going into Kyle in Folks first attempt here Okay, Kyle.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Ed Sharon's career originally began with an audition for a
- 21:20Speaker 1: boy band. Obviously, the audition didn't go great. That boy
- 21:24Speaker 1: band went on to become The Wanted.
- 21:27Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, that sounds so real. It'd be such
- 21:30Speaker 12: a fun fact.
- 21:32Speaker 17: I don't know.
- 21:32Speaker 14: I don't see Ed Sharon is wanting to be in
- 21:34Speaker 14: a boy band. So I'm gonna say trash.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah you trash that good job?
- 21:42Speaker 17: Like I feel like that vibe.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Talking about the Wanted me John this morning. What a
- 21:48Speaker 5: weird tie.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I am surprised anyone would talk about The
- 21:53Speaker 1: Wanted in the last like five years.
- 21:55Speaker 5: That's why.
- 21:56Speaker 1: My goodness. Okay, so Carly, yeah, I am ready here
- 22:01Speaker 1: we go. He appeared as a soldier in the TV
- 22:04Speaker 1: show Game of Thrones, which generated a huge reaction online.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, and I don't watch Game of Thrones,
- 22:12Speaker 3: but I am going to say, uh, trash.
- 22:17Speaker 1: She says trash. That that's a trash answer, Carly. I'm
- 22:21Speaker 1: so sorry you're the first one to miss one. Today.
- 22:27Speaker 2: We even interviewed him about that. That was a big deal.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like, I didn't think it was gonna be
- 22:30Speaker 5: that distracting. Well, yeah, you're singing on Game of Thrones,
- 22:34Speaker 5: taking his ride out of Game of Thrones.
- 22:36Speaker 1: He was covered in cats in that interview, right yeah, yeah,
- 22:40Speaker 1: all right, Son, going into round two, John j Rich, Peyton,
- 22:44Speaker 1: and Kyle all have a point, Carly, Let's catch up here.
- 22:47Speaker 1: We're gonna start with John Jay. John Jay. His limited
- 22:51Speaker 1: batch Scottish ale ed beer Wren was exclusively sold at
- 22:57Speaker 1: Total Wine. Upon release, patrons lined up around city blocks
- 23:00Speaker 1: to purchase. Each location sold out in a matter of minutes. Trash, trash,
- 23:05Speaker 1: that's trash. That is trash. That's when I just made up,
- 23:08Speaker 1: all right, John Jay now at two points, taking commanding lead. Rich.
- 23:13Speaker 1: He's a self described Lego enthusiast. In an interview, he
- 23:17Speaker 1: said he bought a Lego set on a date once.
- 23:21Speaker 1: When he finished the set, he left and took the set.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Ah. Okay, so I know he's got a song about Legos.
- 23:28Speaker 5: I don't know if he's in the Legos, but he
- 23:30Speaker 5: looks like he'd be in the Legos.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Truth, Okay, Truth is Korea act? All right? Rich? And
- 23:37Speaker 1: in case you guys are playing you know, fun trivia
- 23:40Speaker 1: games at home, that ship.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Or the Lego set ship from the Pirates of Caribbean.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Oh, how fun.
- 23:45Speaker 1: He loves legos. Okay, Black Pearl, he didn't get into specifics.
- 23:51Speaker 1: All right, Peyton. His childhood nickname was Teddy because of
- 23:57Speaker 1: his red hair and Teddy Bear appearing truth Peyton two points,
- 24:04Speaker 1: all right, ties up, Rich and John Jay Kyle. His
- 24:09Speaker 1: career started in a band with his brother Isaac and Taylor.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Originally started as a crush as a garage band after
- 24:17Speaker 1: discovering their parents' rock albums. Their lead single was a
- 24:21Speaker 1: real bop.
- 24:26Speaker 20: I'm gonna say that's trash because he's not part of hands.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be correct. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Ed Sharon is not one of the handsome brothers. Kyle
- 24:37Speaker 1: gets a bonus point there. All right, Carly, you can
- 24:42Speaker 1: get ten points if you can get this correct.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Okay, me an easy one.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Ed Sharon has enough tattoos that fans have spent years
- 24:50Speaker 1: trying to catalog all of them, including tattoos of a
- 24:53Speaker 1: giant lion, a Teddy Bear, a puzzle piece, a cup
- 24:57Speaker 1: of tea, and of course ketchup.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I'll say truth.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Why, yeah, yep, you're good.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna go see Ed Sharon.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Congratulations, all right, thank you.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 1: If that last segment offended you, I am really really sorry.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Please email our management at your mom at iHeartRadio dot
- 25:18Speaker 1: your mom dot com. It's John Jay and Rich Brandon.
- 25:23Speaker 18: Hey, John Jay, what's going on?
- 25:25Speaker 2: It just says on the phone screen here it says
- 25:27Speaker 2: Brandon and it says advice. So do you need advice?
- 25:30Speaker 2: Are you giving us advice?
- 25:31Speaker 6: Oh?
- 25:32Speaker 18: No, Ejail's advice because y'all have always you always have
- 25:36Speaker 18: great advice, believe it or not. You always seem to
- 25:40Speaker 18: pull through. My wife is talking about leaving me. She
- 25:45Speaker 18: wants to leave me, and she wants to talk to
- 25:48Speaker 18: another guy. And I don't even know where to start
- 25:52Speaker 18: with this because we have a nine month old and
- 25:57Speaker 18: you know it, it's situation and not to be a buzzkill,
- 26:02Speaker 18: but I need some help.
- 26:05Speaker 14: When she said she wants to leave you, was it
- 26:08Speaker 14: an open ended conversation? Because I would almost kind of
- 26:11Speaker 14: think if she said that and she already has somebody
- 26:13Speaker 14: else in mind?
- 26:14Speaker 12: Did she not just go? Or were you like, hey,
- 26:16Speaker 12: can we please work on this?
- 26:18Speaker 18: I asked her, can we please work on this? She
- 26:20Speaker 18: was very like, I'm confused. I need to see him,
- 26:24Speaker 18: I need to talk to him. It was a guy
- 26:27Speaker 18: that she had talked to briefly for last year at
- 26:31Speaker 18: this time, and he tends to reach out to her
- 26:35Speaker 18: in the most random ways. She's had him blocked on everything. Well,
- 26:39Speaker 18: he went through Venmo to message her and send her
- 26:45Speaker 18: money and to get her attention, and it just seems
- 26:48Speaker 18: like as soon as he gets her attention, she goes
- 26:52Speaker 18: back to him.
- 26:54Speaker 2: When you said it was a year ago, were you
- 26:55Speaker 2: guys married a year ago?
- 26:57Speaker 18: We were married a year ago. There was a part
- 27:00Speaker 18: art where she did she just she didn't feel the
- 27:03Speaker 18: same with the marriage a year ago, and maybe that
- 27:07Speaker 18: was pregnancy, hormones it something of that sort, but it
- 27:11Speaker 18: was just it was a tough time in our relationship
- 27:13Speaker 18: and seemed to have gotten through it more. And I've
- 27:16Speaker 18: worked on the things that she wanted me to work on,
- 27:18Speaker 18: and I felt like she has worked on the things
- 27:19Speaker 18: that I wanted her to work on. But yeah, it
- 27:23Speaker 18: seems like this guy just he keeps popping up and
- 27:28Speaker 18: running right back to him.
- 27:29Speaker 5: What's her issue with you in the marriage? What did
- 27:31Speaker 5: she want you to work on?
- 27:34Speaker 18: Mainly to be more to be more present, I tend to.
- 27:39Speaker 18: I work in a at a company that's a twenty
- 27:42Speaker 18: four to seven business, So there's I get phone calls
- 27:45Speaker 18: all day, you know, all day, all night, But I
- 27:49Speaker 18: do you know, I do it for her and I
- 27:51Speaker 18: do it for our little one. So that was her
- 27:54Speaker 18: main thing, was being more present and putting the phone down.
- 27:56Speaker 18: And I've I've done my best to do that.
- 28:00Speaker 15: So do you think that he, like this other guy,
- 28:03Speaker 15: is giving her that attention or he's easily accessible? Like
- 28:06Speaker 15: what is it that he's bringing to the table that makes.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Her want to go to him?
- 28:12Speaker 18: He makes her feel wanted, and I feel like I
- 28:15Speaker 18: do as well. I've always told her how beautiful she
- 28:17Speaker 18: I think she is. I tell her every morning, I
- 28:19Speaker 18: write her notes, I bring home flowers, you know. I
- 28:23Speaker 18: try to show her how I see her through my eyes,
- 28:26Speaker 18: and she just seems to be as soon as he
- 28:30Speaker 18: says hey to her, it seems like all of her
- 28:33Speaker 18: attention gets to him.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not good for you.
- 28:35Speaker 2: How long have you guys been together?
- 28:38Speaker 18: We've been together for eleven years.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Okay, And do you know has she crossed that line
- 28:42Speaker 2: with him?
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yes?
- 28:45Speaker 18: She did twice.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Wow, Okay, man, I got to tell something. I'm grateful
- 28:49Speaker 2: you call this for advice. I don't think we're qualified.
- 28:52Speaker 12: I was just going to say, I feel like you
- 28:53Speaker 12: need a professional.
- 28:54Speaker 14: I considered couples counseling with an actual like license.
- 28:59Speaker 2: To I don't know. I don't know what you take
- 29:03Speaker 2: advantage of. She's like a sweet guy. But man, and
- 29:06Speaker 2: what's what the guy's the guy at all married as well?
- 29:09Speaker 18: No, he's he's just a single guy that just he
- 29:15Speaker 18: just does this.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Have you showed up to talk to him and say
- 29:18Speaker 5: step step back.
- 29:19Speaker 18: I've tried, but he has me blocked on every single thing.
- 29:24Speaker 18: And I told you know, my main thing was, if
- 29:26Speaker 18: you're going to take my wife from me, I want
- 29:29Speaker 18: her to be happy and I want you to treat
- 29:31Speaker 18: her right.
- 29:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you get walked on.
- 29:36Speaker 18: No, I do too, but it's but yeah, that's why
- 29:41Speaker 18: I was trying to trying to figure it out, because
- 29:43Speaker 18: I don't want to bring it to my family and
- 29:45Speaker 18: my friends yet, because it's there's just a part of
- 29:48Speaker 18: me that hopes she comes back.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Did she move out already?
- 29:54Speaker 18: No, we're still living together because and I'm living in
- 29:56Speaker 18: the guest room and she's in our in our room.
- 30:00Speaker 18: That's mainly just so I can see my daughter.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Holy smokes man, I tell you what, why don't we
- 30:06Speaker 2: let our audience give you advice? Does that work?
- 30:09Speaker 20: Yeah?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Okay, so let's go. All right, So call eight seven
- 30:13Speaker 2: seven nine three seven one O four seven if you
- 30:16Speaker 2: have advice for Brandon, because clearly the four of us
- 30:19Speaker 2: are not prepared or qualified for any of this. But
- 30:21Speaker 2: maybe someone listening, Maybe we have a therapist listening. All right, Brandon,
- 30:24Speaker 2: So Hank tight, let's take some calls.
- 30:26Speaker 18: All right, thank you.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Eight seven seven, nine three seven one O four seven.
- 30:32Speaker 2: We'll get into it next. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Come for the John Jay and Rich. But let's be honest,
- 30:37Speaker 1: if you stay for Kyle and Peyton, it's John Jay
- 30:40Speaker 1: and Rich.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Brandon, your story was very tough to listen to and
- 30:44Speaker 2: to deal with. So, like I said, nobody in this
- 30:47Speaker 2: studio is qualified to give you that answer, but the
- 30:50Speaker 2: people listening to our show might, and we've got a
- 30:51Speaker 2: lot of people that have advice for you. So quick
- 30:54Speaker 2: recap if you're just tuning in. Brandon has a nine
- 30:57Speaker 2: month old baby girl. He's been with his wife for
- 30:59Speaker 2: eleven years, and she wants to leave him. For a guy,
- 31:03Speaker 2: and the guy won't stop coming after her, like she's
- 31:08Speaker 2: been blocked. He's it's a crazy story. But that's a
- 31:11Speaker 2: quick recap, right Brandon, Yes, sir, Okay, here we go.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Let's say hello to Vivian. Vivian, good morning. What what
- 31:18Speaker 2: advice do you have for Brandon?
- 31:21Speaker 11: Well, I think it's a complicated situation and we don't
- 31:24Speaker 11: know all aspects for not there with him and his wife.
- 31:28Speaker 11: But I think the unfortunate advice I would give is
- 31:30Speaker 11: if she wants to leave, he needs to let her leave.
- 31:36Speaker 11: There's been an attempt at repairing about a year ago.
- 31:40Speaker 11: She told him what she needed. He feels like he's
- 31:42Speaker 11: done this, and a year later, this person has re
- 31:46Speaker 11: entered her life and she has, you know, especially said hey,
- 31:49Speaker 11: I want to explore. You know, life with him right
- 31:51Speaker 11: now is definitely one of those like it's not Brandon,
- 31:55Speaker 11: it's the wife, and it's the wife, and it's not
- 31:59Speaker 11: the random dude on this side. Like, yes, he's the
- 32:01Speaker 11: sort of temptation, but she's the one making the decision
- 32:04Speaker 11: to explore and leave her marriage for him, and obviously
- 32:08Speaker 11: there are needs that are not being fulfilled for her
- 32:11Speaker 11: that he is filling, and Brandon may not fill ever,
- 32:16Speaker 11: but you know that only time will tell honestly in
- 32:18Speaker 11: that regard.
- 32:19Speaker 2: So you're saying let her go. Yes, okay, that's tough,
- 32:24Speaker 2: that's Brandon.
- 32:25Speaker 18: Yeah, okay, it's a very valid point.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I think. What what makes it even harder that you
- 32:31Speaker 2: got a little baby involved?
- 32:35Speaker 21: All right?
- 32:36Speaker 2: What is that clicking noise?
- 32:37Speaker 16: Vivi?
- 32:37Speaker 2: And you make it a turn?
- 32:39Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 32:39Speaker 19: I am okay, that's what kind of.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Car do you have that's a loud clicker?
- 32:46Speaker 11: Sevy equinox.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Don't judge me, appressive blinker, but Brandon gets out of this.
- 32:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna get an equinox now, okay, all right by Vivian.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Thank you. Lit's ahead of Megan. Megan, good morning. What
- 32:59Speaker 2: you advice for Brandon?
- 33:02Speaker 8: So, I mean, unfortunately, my advice is very similar to Vivian,
- 33:07Speaker 8: is that this other dude is not the problem. It's
- 33:11Speaker 8: his spouse. And if you were my friend, I would
- 33:15Speaker 8: be telling you you need to believe this person when
- 33:18Speaker 8: they show you who they are. And I know it
- 33:20Speaker 8: sounds very trite, but you need to believe them. And
- 33:23Speaker 8: she's showing you that you're I mean, unfortunately, she's not
- 33:28Speaker 8: showing you that you're a priority, and I would file
- 33:33Speaker 8: for a joint custody of my daughter, and I.
- 33:36Speaker 22: Would, I would leave.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I mean I would.
- 33:39Speaker 8: I would tell any friend of mine that you shouldn't
- 33:41Speaker 8: be putting up with that. It's just not right. And
- 33:44Speaker 8: I know a broken home, because I come from one,
- 33:47Speaker 8: isn't the best for a child. But it's also not
- 33:51Speaker 8: good to stay in a situation. It's not good to
- 33:53Speaker 8: show your child to stay in a situation that is
- 33:56Speaker 8: harmful to you.
- 33:57Speaker 5: That's a good point because Brandon probably feels like he's
- 34:00Speaker 5: he's walking on eggshells at all time, like he has to,
- 34:04Speaker 5: he can't just be himself.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Your thoughts branded, Yeah, so.
- 34:10Speaker 18: I walk on I wouldn't say, I mean, eggshell's pretty
- 34:13Speaker 18: close to it. It's just I just want to make
- 34:15Speaker 18: sure like I'm making her happy, And that's I've always felt,
- 34:19Speaker 18: is am I doing enough to make her happy? And
- 34:22Speaker 18: you know, I'm constantly scared that he's trying to make
- 34:25Speaker 18: contact with her, And you know, we go months at
- 34:29Speaker 18: a time where there's no issues, and then as soon
- 34:31Speaker 18: as he makes contact, it just seems like I'm the
- 34:34Speaker 18: second in our relationship.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Hey, let me ask you this, So She started her
- 34:38Speaker 2: relationship with him when.
- 34:42Speaker 18: We had a rough part in our marriage, which was
- 34:45Speaker 18: caused by me. I was confused and I just I
- 34:48Speaker 18: didn't go after somebody. I just thought I needed a break.
- 34:51Speaker 18: And during that break, she found this guy.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And that was a year ago, yes, sir, And there
- 35:00Speaker 2: was nothing before that. Because I gotta tell you, I
- 35:04Speaker 2: got a DM yesterday because I was so involved in
- 35:08Speaker 2: your situation, I made a video yesterday. I was like,
- 35:09Speaker 2: I gotta tell about this guy ran in. I put
- 35:11Speaker 2: on my Instagram. It was a huge smash, thousands of views.
- 35:14Speaker 2: You could see it in my stories. Jay, that's it,
- 35:16Speaker 2: John J. Vanas No, but some guy messaged me. He said,
- 35:19Speaker 2: you know, and I don't know if this is going
- 35:20Speaker 2: to hurt feelings or not, but he's like, you might
- 35:22Speaker 2: want to get a DNA test on that baby, is
- 35:25Speaker 2: what they said. And I was like, a year.
- 35:26Speaker 12: Ago, Y's nine months old.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Right, that's why maybe she's stepping around like h like
- 35:32Speaker 5: maybe like paying a lot of attention to that.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Let's say it's not your baby, then there's a whole
- 35:39Speaker 2: what's your take on that?
- 35:41Speaker 18: Well, dang, John Jay, you put that in my head now, Well.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Better to have it in your head? What if better
- 35:46Speaker 2: now than eighteen? I heard you got a baby by Buster.
- 35:50Speaker 18: Yeah, no, I it's a that's a valid point, you know,
- 35:56Speaker 18: I don't after all of this, she's a bad person.
- 36:00Speaker 18: She's a great person, and I think she gets confused.
- 36:03Speaker 5: But you sound like a good dude too. But but
- 36:07Speaker 5: it does seem like you are not being given like
- 36:12Speaker 5: the truth right for yourself, and you're kind of liking
- 36:16Speaker 5: limbo with your wife.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Look, kid, let's go to Deborah. Debora's got advice to Deborah.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Good morning. You're on the air at Brandon. Go ahead,
- 36:23Speaker 2: good man.
- 36:24Speaker 21: It's uh, it sounds like she's infatuated with this guy.
- 36:28Speaker 21: If this not a father, if she's actually the real father,
- 36:32Speaker 21: maybe that's why. But I think she's actually's just infactuated.
- 36:35Speaker 2: With this guy.
- 36:37Speaker 21: And she knows her husband for eleven years. She knows
- 36:40Speaker 21: that she could get away with that.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Oh, thank you, Brenda. Hard to hear it. Okay, let
- 36:47Speaker 2: her go. Let's go to Roy Roy, good morning.
- 36:50Speaker 19: I was gonna say, checked the DNA tex it's been
- 36:53Speaker 19: a year. I'm sorry guy.
- 36:56Speaker 18: Uh huh.
- 36:57Speaker 19: I was in a relationship with this lady for fifteen
- 36:59Speaker 19: years and after twelve years, you seated and I try
- 37:02Speaker 19: to make it work and then didn't work again, so
- 37:07Speaker 19: I checked the DNA. I'm sorry, but yeah, all right,
- 37:10Speaker 19: thanks Roy.
- 37:12Speaker 2: It's tough. You know. The thing too, is like, let's
- 37:14Speaker 2: just say that it's not your baby, but you already
- 37:18Speaker 2: got nine months of loving that baby, right, No, right?
- 37:21Speaker 2: I mean right?
- 37:22Speaker 14: Also, wouldn't you rather find out now, yeah that rather
- 37:25Speaker 14: than seventeen years down the road or this little kid wonders?
- 37:29Speaker 5: That would at least get you kind of some clarification
- 37:31Speaker 5: on where you are with your relationship with the with
- 37:33Speaker 5: your wife anyway. But it's like, I know it's easy
- 37:36Speaker 5: for people outside of it to look at this and
- 37:38Speaker 5: think of it as black and white. It's just not
- 37:39Speaker 5: for you because there's all those feelings involved.
- 37:42Speaker 2: A couple of text messager, this call breaks my heart.
- 37:44Speaker 2: He needs to protect his heart and just let her go.
- 37:46Speaker 2: She's not the one for him. He can find someone
- 37:48Speaker 2: who truly is his person and not someone who keeps
- 37:50Speaker 2: wondering every time. A guy says high they can co
- 37:53Speaker 2: parent their daughter, but he needs to let her go.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Another person's advice for Brandon that says nothing to do
- 37:58Speaker 2: with him. She's already checked out of the relationship. There's
- 38:01Speaker 2: absolutely nothing he could do to make things better. She's
- 38:03Speaker 2: merely given him things to change to help relieve her conscious.
- 38:06Speaker 2: If I was Brandon, I would let her go. So
- 38:10Speaker 2: that's a lot. That's a lot of the same advice.
- 38:14Speaker 2: But I hope it helped you out, Brandon, And I'm
- 38:15Speaker 2: so glad you came to Did we help you out?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Did we give you some advice?
- 38:18Speaker 18: Yes, yeah, y'all did. And I really appreciate y'all's, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 18: taking time to cover this with me. It gives me
- 38:24Speaker 18: a lot to think about. At the end of the day.
- 38:26Speaker 18: Like I said, she's she's a great person in general,
- 38:29Speaker 18: she's made bad decisions. I don't know where I go
- 38:31Speaker 18: from here. It's gonna be tough, but it's definitely worse. Well,
- 38:35Speaker 18: it's definitely a lot that I'm gonna be thinking about.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I tell it later today. Download the podcast because you'll
- 38:40Speaker 2: be on it and you can hear everyone's advice. In
- 38:42Speaker 2: case you did, it didn't sink in, so you can
- 38:43Speaker 2: listen to it over and over again. So if you
- 38:45Speaker 2: go to wherever your podcasts iHeartRadio download John Jay and
- 38:48Speaker 2: Rich on demand. You can listen to the advice people,
- 38:50Speaker 2: and people are still calling to give you advice. So
- 38:52Speaker 2: I have a great day. But dude, and thank you
- 38:54Speaker 2: for listening. Yeah, thank You'll praying for you, man.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I have an idea for the show.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Today is your day.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us right now.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It's John, Jay and Rich.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Remember I told you the other day. I was driving
- 39:07Speaker 2: in and I saw a flock of birds, and I
- 39:09Speaker 2: want to know where they came up with the word flock.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Yes, So.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yesterday I was driving in and I was thinking about
- 39:16Speaker 2: words and how they come up with words. Thing. I
- 39:19Speaker 2: was thinking about words that are silent, and so I
- 39:21Speaker 2: started pronouncing all the words with the silent letters in it.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I was trying to think about silent words, but silent
- 39:28Speaker 2: letters in yeah, like Stephanie, and I was trying to
- 39:33Speaker 2: incorporate those because I said, I had this interview on
- 39:38Speaker 2: the highly successful podcast jo Ja Vans Podcast with Molly Miller,
- 39:42Speaker 2: the A Issue Women's Coach, and I was so stressed
- 39:44Speaker 2: about it and I was practicing, and I was practicing
- 39:48Speaker 2: questions to ask her, and I said the words subtle
- 39:50Speaker 2: and I sit instead, I said subtle. But this didn't happen.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It was just in my head. Right. So then I
- 39:56Speaker 2: was practicing other words, and I'm going to try to
- 39:58Speaker 2: say these in sentences. Okay, So I started the about
- 40:00Speaker 2: people name if your name is pillop, Like, why are
- 40:04Speaker 2: these words silent? You know, like pharmacy, right, thumb, thumb thumbumb, salmon?
- 40:13Speaker 2: Mm hmm. I hear that a lot actually list ten man, listen, receipt,
- 40:22Speaker 2: And I wrote down a whole bunch. I can't knife
- 40:27Speaker 2: kannock kannock knife sure, uh, anyway, those are just words.
- 40:33Speaker 2: So I'm trying to incorporate that more in my language.
- 40:36Speaker 14: The things that occupy your brain time Jaja, it's baffling
- 40:39Speaker 14: to me.
- 40:39Speaker 2: It was hard to come up with those people.
- 40:41Speaker 5: I wonder how much time you spent coming up with
- 40:43Speaker 5: those words, like a lot.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I was a long drive. I was like trying to
- 40:47Speaker 2: come and I know there's a lot more, but I
- 40:48Speaker 2: couldn't think of it anymore.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Well, if anybody has any word, as John J. Says,
- 40:52Speaker 5: silent words, they're actually silent.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Letters, solid letters in words.
- 40:54Speaker 5: A silent word would be this.
- 40:57Speaker 2: If we don't need that on the idea.
- 41:00Speaker 5: No, I can't spam that, you know, I can't spad that.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Oh.
- 41:04Speaker 1: The next segment we're going to do is called second
- 41:07Speaker 1: Date Update, because that's what we're going to try and
- 41:09Speaker 1: get and that's what the bit is called seven eight Updates.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Starts right now on John Jay and Rich one.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Oh four to seven Kiss FM. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 41:18Speaker 2: IT'STEP for Second Date Update. This is when you're trying
- 41:21Speaker 2: to date. You go out on the date, you find somebody,
- 41:25Speaker 2: I think it's going to work out, but for some
- 41:26Speaker 2: reason they're blowing you off, their ghosting or something like that.
- 41:28Speaker 2: So we got what do you got? Kennedy on the
- 41:30Speaker 2: Liz is Kennedy Kennedy, Hello, welcome to John Jay and
- 41:33Speaker 2: Rich Second Date Update. What's your story?
- 41:36Speaker 5: So?
- 41:37Speaker 10: I recently went out on a date with a signamed
- 41:40Speaker 10: Cody and totally thought it was going great. We had
- 41:44Speaker 10: a great conversation, you know, good banter. Body is super cute.
- 41:50Speaker 10: We you know, thanks got a little spicy the end,
- 41:53Speaker 10: like we ended up pooking up and like it was
- 41:56Speaker 10: so fun. So then I text him later that just
- 42:00Speaker 10: to be like, hey, like I have such a great time,
- 42:03Speaker 10: and he didn't respond, but like you know, he had
- 42:06Speaker 10: like the read receipt, so you can see that he's
- 42:09Speaker 10: read it. And then I like, I did like to
- 42:11Speaker 10: like one more follow up, and like I saw that
- 42:12Speaker 10: he read it, but he's not responding to me. So
- 42:15Speaker 10: I'm just like really confused.
- 42:17Speaker 20: That's like the most frustrating feeling, like to be left
- 42:20Speaker 20: on red like you're so great?
- 42:22Speaker 15: Why and you're like and after like I gave myself
- 42:25Speaker 15: to you, you don't even have the decency to like
- 42:28Speaker 15: hit me back.
- 42:29Speaker 17: That's crazy.
- 42:30Speaker 10: Yeah, Like if you're not feeling it, that's fine, but
- 42:32Speaker 10: like let me.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Know, right, so when you say you gave your she
- 42:36Speaker 2: gave himself like you guys, you guys went all the
- 42:38Speaker 2: way you guys did it?
- 42:40Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean like, yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 2: It's pretty lame.
- 42:45Speaker 15: Yeah, I mean that's a hit it in quitted moment,
- 42:47Speaker 15: Like that's you could he have been having phone problems.
- 42:52Speaker 2: That's a big thing right now. There's a lot of
- 42:54Speaker 2: phone problems really yeah, like especially with my iPhone. Man,
- 42:59Speaker 2: I can't make a freaking phone call. You ever done
- 43:01Speaker 2: that thing? Paige does? Have anybody else like I'll I'll
- 43:04Speaker 2: be I'll go to call my son or my wife
- 43:06Speaker 2: and it looks like it's gonna ring and that just
- 43:08Speaker 2: goes as you get the little axes. It failed, caf failed,
- 43:11Speaker 2: call failed, cafail.
- 43:12Speaker 17: Has over what happened before.
- 43:13Speaker 2: I got to turn off my phone and way a
- 43:15Speaker 2: little bit and then turn it back on, like maybe
- 43:17Speaker 2: you know. I'm just trying to give him the benefit
- 43:19Speaker 2: doubt because I hate guys do that.
- 43:21Speaker 5: He sounds like a jerk so far.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I don't know if there's ever an excuse to not
- 43:26Speaker 2: call somebody, especially after you sleb on them. I mean
- 43:27Speaker 2: you could end it like be a hey, sorry, well
- 43:29Speaker 2: I didn't feel it's move on. But anyway, all right,
- 43:32Speaker 2: well we can call Cody for you, Kennedy.
- 43:34Speaker 10: All right, sounds good.
- 43:35Speaker 5: Let's figure the ub all right.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Hang tight, Let's go pitch out a hood for a
- 43:39Speaker 2: second and get his phone number and then you rule
- 43:41Speaker 2: call f y. Second ate update continues n J and
- 43:45Speaker 2: Rich John Jane Rich. We're in the middle of second
- 43:48Speaker 2: date update. Kennedy's calling us because guys are back in Cody.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Kennedy and Cody went on a first date. In fact,
- 43:55Speaker 5: according to Kennedy, things got spicy. There was a first
- 43:59Speaker 5: daid hookup, and now she's stuck on red. Why did
- 44:04Speaker 5: Cody hit it and quit it. He sounds like a
- 44:07Speaker 5: total asshad Let's find out if we're right.
- 44:10Speaker 2: That was a good recap, right, Kennedy.
- 44:11Speaker 10: Fought on honestly.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Okay, let's get him on the phone.
- 44:15Speaker 22: You guys, Hello, Hi, is this Cody?
- 44:38Speaker 4: This is she?
- 44:39Speaker 17: Hold on?
- 44:40Speaker 2: I thought Cody was a guy.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Me too.
- 44:43Speaker 12: Oh, so, Kennedy, you went out with a girl.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Well, Cody, are you trying to find my boyfriend?
- 44:51Speaker 2: Is his name Cody?
- 44:52Speaker 4: No, I'm Cody.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Okay, let me explain something. So you're on the radio.
- 44:56Speaker 2: You're on the John D. Ridge radio show. You're on
- 44:58Speaker 2: the radio. Okay, Yeah, And we took a call from
- 45:01Speaker 2: Kennedy and Kennedy's on the phone right now, Kennedy, can
- 45:04Speaker 2: you say hi?
- 45:05Speaker 4: Hey?
- 45:06Speaker 2: So Kennedy told us that she went on a date
- 45:08Speaker 2: with someone named Cody and they slept together, and Cody's
- 45:12Speaker 2: not calling her back.
- 45:13Speaker 4: That would be my boyfriend.
- 45:15Speaker 2: It would be your boyfriend.
- 45:16Speaker 4: I just found his burner phone, like he said, it
- 45:18Speaker 4: was his work phone. There are three other girls in
- 45:21Speaker 4: there that he's hooking up with.
- 45:23Speaker 5: Oh, he's not the only one, So why is he
- 45:27Speaker 5: still your boyfriend?
- 45:28Speaker 4: I just found this like two days ago. I am
- 45:30Speaker 4: processing it. I am just I can't even believe it.
- 45:34Speaker 7: I mean we've been.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Dating for a year and I knew nothing about any
- 45:39Speaker 4: of this.
- 45:39Speaker 5: Well that's three, you know about how many? I wonder
- 45:41Speaker 5: how many else there could be.
- 45:44Speaker 4: There's like three on this phone.
- 45:46Speaker 12: What a sneaky little fiend.
- 45:48Speaker 17: What's your boyfriend's name?
- 45:49Speaker 4: My boyfriend's name is Billy and he's telling people. I
- 45:55Speaker 4: know he's using my name. Apparent.
- 45:58Speaker 20: I wonder if that's actually kind of smart because if
- 46:00Speaker 20: then a girl calls he he's like he can like
- 46:04Speaker 20: play it off like he's calling she's calling for his girlfriend.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Well, this does solve the mystery, Kennedy.
- 46:12Speaker 10: Yeap, it definitely does.
- 46:15Speaker 7: Cody.
- 46:15Speaker 10: I'm so sorry that that happened to you.
- 46:17Speaker 4: He Hey, girl, I'm getting help two of the other girls,
- 46:22Speaker 4: and we're gonna pop up on him and like surprise
- 46:24Speaker 4: his ass and call him out for Wait.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Do you want to join?
- 46:29Speaker 10: Oh my god, obviously I'm obsessed with that idea.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I mean, yes, that is.
- 46:34Speaker 12: Going to be amazing.
- 46:36Speaker 5: It is confirmed he is an ass hat though we
- 46:38Speaker 5: were right about that.
- 46:40Speaker 15: Wait, Cody has so much leverage right now, that's tea.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Okay, Billy, you slept with a Billy Kennedy.
- 46:47Speaker 7: I don't listen.
- 46:49Speaker 10: If I know his real name, probably wouldn't have done it.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Kenny, Do you want to prep Cody and like how
- 46:55Speaker 2: did you meet him?
- 46:56Speaker 16: Like?
- 46:56Speaker 2: What's his How did you guys connect?
- 46:58Speaker 10: Oh?
- 47:00Speaker 2: Of course, of course? Okay, yeah, all right, well hold on,
- 47:03Speaker 2: we can connect you to a right. So well you
- 47:05Speaker 2: got you.
- 47:06Speaker 17: Got, guys.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Well, thank you both for going on the radio with us.
- 47:10Speaker 2: What in Wow, wasn't expecting that at all? Wow? Hey tit? Okay,
- 47:15Speaker 2: all right, that's second ate update with John Jane Rich.
- 47:19Speaker 1: We just want to hear from you, and I don't
- 47:21Speaker 1: think that's too much to ask.
- 47:22Speaker 16: And it's really stressing me out that you're not calling
- 47:26Speaker 16: eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four seven
- 47:30Speaker 16: Jay and Rich.
- 47:30Speaker 2: April, good morning, good morning. All right, we're gonna play
- 47:33Speaker 2: a game. You are playing for Ed Shearing tickets.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Oh awesome.
- 47:39Speaker 14: All right, everybody, it's time to play the Price of Fame.
- 47:42Speaker 20: John J.
- 47:43Speaker 5: Vans, come on now.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Rich, come on.

- 47:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 47:58Speaker 14: We're gonna play two two rounds of the Price of Fame.
