- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Mark Simone.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, it's Wednesday. It's just seventeen days away from spring
- 0:14Speaker 2: daylight saving time this weekend. The war continues, as Chuck
- 0:19Speaker 2: Schumer called it, Trump's endless war. That's Schumer yesterday, Trump's
- 0:24Speaker 2: endless war. It's four days. Actually, it's day five today.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I wouldn't call that endless. Schumer has never once said
- 0:31Speaker 2: Ukraine is an endless war. It's year five, and he
- 0:35Speaker 2: hasn't said that. They look so silly, these people. You
- 0:39Speaker 2: got Richard Blumenthal, he's the Schumer of Connecticut. Another gloomy,
- 0:44Speaker 2: old fossil old, washed up old dinosaur. Bloomenthal saying he's
- 0:49Speaker 2: worried the US may deploy soldiers in Iran boots on
- 0:53Speaker 2: the ground. I think Trump has made it pretty clear
- 0:57Speaker 2: no boots on the ground really not necessary. We've wiped
- 0:59Speaker 2: out everything in record time four days, and we've destroyed
- 1:04Speaker 2: seventy five percent of everything there. We should be done
- 1:07Speaker 2: in a couple of weeks and then that's it. There's
- 1:10Speaker 2: no need for boots on the ground. There could possibly
- 1:13Speaker 2: be boots on the ground, but it won't be US.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It'll be local militias that will arm and supply that
- 1:19Speaker 2: could happen now the courts. The big thing is you
- 1:23Speaker 2: got to worry about who takes over. You needed to
- 1:25Speaker 2: be the right group. You know, what we're doing in
- 1:28Speaker 2: Iran is exactly what Barack Obama did in Libya. Now
- 1:32Speaker 2: he's a Democrat, so it was okay when he does it.
- 1:34Speaker 2: It's fine, great when he does it. But the Democrat,
- 1:37Speaker 2: what a decisive, brilliant leader. If it's a republican today,
- 1:41Speaker 2: illegal war, it's a violation of so Obama did it
- 1:45Speaker 2: in Libya. But you know, years later in an interview,
- 1:50Speaker 2: when Obama was asked the biggest regret that he had
- 1:54Speaker 2: as president, he actually said it was when he went
- 1:56Speaker 2: to war in O Libya and wiped out Gaddafi and
- 2:00Speaker 2: got rid of him and killed him. He said he
- 2:03Speaker 2: should have been better prepared for the aftermath. They carried
- 2:07Speaker 2: out the strikes. It was designed to protect the population.
- 2:10Speaker 2: They got Kadafi, he was killed, but Obama said he
- 2:14Speaker 2: regretted he hadn't planned more because Libya did plunge into
- 2:17Speaker 2: chaos with militias taken over, civil war, all that sort
- 2:21Speaker 2: of stuff. Now, Trump obviously a much more highly skilled
- 2:25Speaker 2: manager than Obama. Trump has managed hundreds of thousands employees
- 2:30Speaker 2: managed a global empire for forty years. Obama never had
- 2:34Speaker 2: a real job before before getting into politics. He was
- 2:38Speaker 2: what did they call that, a community organizer. Nobody knows
- 2:42Speaker 2: what the hell that is. But he's never managed anything.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So Trump much more management skill, and I think that's
- 2:48Speaker 2: the big difference. Hey, Epstein hearings they're going to call
- 2:51Speaker 2: in Howard Lutnick. Now, why what does Lutnik have to
- 2:54Speaker 2: do with Epstein? Basically nothing. He had lunch with him once.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Lutnick years ago bought a townhouse on seventy first Street
- 3:04Speaker 2: and the guy next door was a guy named Jeffrey Epstein.
- 3:06Speaker 2: That's how they met. He was the next door neighbor.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You know, we have these townhouses they're actually connected. I
- 3:11Speaker 2: mean the two walls actually touch each other. You should
- 3:14Speaker 2: like share a wall in between. So that's how he
- 3:18Speaker 2: met Epstein. I think one time he took a tour
- 3:20Speaker 2: of Epstein's house and then Epstein kept bugging him to
- 3:23Speaker 2: have lunch. Because Howard Lutnick back then was a big deal.
- 3:25Speaker 2: He was the chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald. So Epstein always
- 3:29Speaker 2: trying to woo and court anybody who's anybody and kept
- 3:33Speaker 2: begging Epstein to come to lunch. And Epstein had a
- 3:36Speaker 2: big yacht, I mean, Lutnik had a big yacht. And
- 3:40Speaker 2: he was down there in the Caribbean, not far from
- 3:42Speaker 2: the island, and he said, okay, we'll stop by for lunch.
- 3:45Speaker 2: When he said we will stop by for lunch, it
- 3:47Speaker 2: was Howard Lutnick, his wife, his four kids, two nannies,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and they had a number another couple with them that
- 3:55Speaker 2: had kids and nannies. And he said, be okay if
- 3:57Speaker 2: we bring them. So, I mean, the only thing we
- 4:01Speaker 2: learned from this, don't ever invite Howard Lutnick to lunch
- 4:03Speaker 2: because suddenly you had fourteen people show up. But Epstein
- 4:07Speaker 2: didn't mind. But so Lutnick came, but with like twelve
- 4:10Speaker 2: other people and that was it. So he'll testify. There's
- 4:15Speaker 2: nothing to testify about, but it'll look good. It looked
- 4:19Speaker 2: like we see we called in, we called in somebody
- 4:21Speaker 2: from the Trump administration. Now Hillary Clinton testified, and if
- 4:27Speaker 2: you saw the video, she didn't look so bad. I mean, listen,
- 4:30Speaker 2: she's not going to win any beauty contest. I mean,
- 4:32Speaker 2: she but she didn't look as bad as you thought
- 4:35Speaker 2: she would look. You know, sometimes you see a picture
- 4:37Speaker 2: of her, she looks like just like a drunken old hag.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But in this she looked not so bad. Well, it
- 4:42Speaker 2: turns out the committee now revealed that the Hillary team
- 4:48Speaker 2: showed up and demanded all kinds of things. You know.
- 4:50Speaker 2: They to do this, they rented the Chapequa Performing Arts Center.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It's like a little theater, and they set up a
- 5:00Speaker 2: like a table where the people being interviewed would sit,
- 5:05Speaker 2: and behind it was a black curtain which belonged to
- 5:08Speaker 2: the theater. It was part of the theater. Well, apparently
- 5:10Speaker 2: the Hillary team didn't like it. They wanted something softer.
- 5:13Speaker 2: They wanted a nice blue background. They found a local
- 5:18Speaker 2: vendor to manufacture. It had to be built quickly. They
- 5:22Speaker 2: built a special set for her, the nice blue thing
- 5:26Speaker 2: behind her. They wanted special lighting to make her look good.
- 5:30Speaker 2: They wanted what they call beauty lightning. Beauty lighting. Beauty
- 5:35Speaker 2: lighting is sometimes when you're on television, you know there's
- 5:39Speaker 2: lights above you, there's lights on the side, there's lights
- 5:43Speaker 2: behind you. Beauty lighting is they put lights below you,
- 5:46Speaker 2: shining up like when you're on a TV show. Sometimes
- 5:49Speaker 2: you know, see the desk, you're all sitting at a desk,
- 5:51Speaker 2: and it's like a beautiful glass top, actually loose sight.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's like a loose sight top. Well sometimes underneath there's
- 5:58Speaker 2: light in there. There's all kinds of little light shining
- 6:01Speaker 2: up into your face. It takes out the wrinkles. So
- 6:04Speaker 2: if you have the lights above, it'll create a shadow
- 6:07Speaker 2: on the bags under your eyes. It'll put a little shadow.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You can see the wrinkles. But if you put a
- 6:14Speaker 2: light under the table shining up, it takes out the
- 6:16Speaker 2: shadows from the wrinkles or the bags, and you look younger.
- 6:20Speaker 2: So Hillary's team demanded this beauty lighting be put in.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And then they wanted you remember on the table that
- 6:26Speaker 2: had a white tablecloth. The reason they wanted that if
- 6:29Speaker 2: you put a white tablecloth, it reflects the light, so
- 6:32Speaker 2: more light will come shining up into your face and
- 6:35Speaker 2: make it look softer and get rid of the wrinkles.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Hillary's team tested the lighting. They had somebody sit in
- 6:41Speaker 2: the chair and they adjusted the lights. While the test
- 6:45Speaker 2: person sat in the chair, they moved the camera angles
- 6:48Speaker 2: to make her look good. This was the result. Now
- 6:54Speaker 2: if you saw there's still look pretty bad, but you
- 6:57Speaker 2: looked apparently a lot better. Than she could have. And
- 7:01Speaker 2: it helped Bill Clinton a little. It softened him up,
- 7:04Speaker 2: made him look a little better. Hey, he's heard he
- 7:08Speaker 2: saw that plane. Remember the plane that went down in
- 7:11Speaker 2: the Hudson. What was his name, Sully Sullenberger, that great pilot.
- 7:16Speaker 2: The engines went He had no engines. He couldn't get
- 7:18Speaker 2: to Laguardi with that. The engines just went off. Bird
- 7:20Speaker 2: strike knocked out his engines and you're without any power.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Now it turns out this old veteran pilot, Sully Sullenberger,
- 7:29Speaker 2: he'd been a pilot in Vietnam, and it turned out
- 7:33Speaker 2: he had a lot of training as a glider pilot.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I mean, what are the odds of that. You're on
- 7:38Speaker 2: this plane all of a sudden, all the engines are out,
- 7:42Speaker 2: and this guy's a trained glider pilot. He knew how
- 7:44Speaker 2: to glide the plane right into the Hudson. You have
- 7:46Speaker 2: to keep the wings absolutely level and steady in the
- 7:50Speaker 2: right angle. And he landed that plane in the Hudson.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Now this is a little easier because it's a little
- 7:54Speaker 2: tiny plane. But it's flying way way up the Hudson, upstate,
- 7:59Speaker 2: and uh, it crashed. A little tiny private plane crashed.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Here's the transmission to the control tower. They're trying to
- 8:07Speaker 2: get him to the airport in this emergency.
- 8:09Speaker 3: We're going to go into the hots to Juriso civit against.
- 8:13Speaker 3: We're going into the Hudson River. I don't think we're
- 8:15Speaker 3: gonna make the airport.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Sounds like a pretty experienced pilot if you could say, Uh,
- 8:21Speaker 2: we're going to go into the Hudson. What's that? Uh,
- 8:25Speaker 2: We're gonna go into the Hudson. I mean, how do
- 8:28Speaker 2: you stay that calm? Remember that Sally Sullenburger audio is
- 8:30Speaker 2: the same thing. We're gonna land in the Hudson. What
- 8:33Speaker 2: you say we're going to land in the Hudson. I
- 8:36Speaker 2: mean if if that were me or anybody, we'd be saying,
- 8:41Speaker 2: you'd be going crazy. Listen, not again. How calm this
- 8:44Speaker 2: guy is.
- 8:44Speaker 3: We're going to go into the hoson to Juriso sat
- 8:47Speaker 3: against La. We're going into the Hudson River. I don't
- 8:50Speaker 3: think we're gonna make the airport.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Now. Uh. And this guy's a lot like Sellenberger. Sullenberger
- 8:56Speaker 2: knew when he was going to go into the Hudson
- 8:58Speaker 2: where to put the plane down. You could go north
- 9:02Speaker 2: of the George Washington Bridge. But he knew to turn
- 9:05Speaker 2: and go south because if he went south of the
- 9:09Speaker 2: George Washing Bridge, you'd be right near all the docks
- 9:11Speaker 2: and peers and rescue equipment they could get to you.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You go north, you're farther away. He knew go south
- 9:17Speaker 2: of the bridge, and that's where all the rescue stuff
- 9:19Speaker 2: would be, and they got to him very very quickly.
- 9:22Speaker 2: The same thing with this guy. He knew like to
- 9:24Speaker 2: go here, put this part of the housing to be
- 9:27Speaker 2: close to the part where the rescue stuff would be
- 9:29Speaker 2: coming from. Pretty amazing. Hey, Christy Nome had to testify yesterday.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I don't know about this Christy Nome. I don't know
- 9:39Speaker 2: how long she's gonna last. I don't know. You know,
- 9:43Speaker 2: there's all kinds of things coming out, Like her department,
- 9:47Speaker 2: Homeland Security was a shutdown. All the funding was cut,
- 9:51Speaker 2: no more funding because of this crazy shutdown, government shutdown.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And she's blaming this for, you know, homeland security. Right now,
- 9:59Speaker 2: with the Iran conflict, you need homeland security look for
- 10:02Speaker 2: any possible Iranian terrorist cells here. But she's getting all
- 10:07Speaker 2: kinds of flight now. For instance, you know, she spent
- 10:09Speaker 2: all this money she bought a big, huge, enormous private
- 10:13Speaker 2: jet basically for her to fly around on. She claimed
- 10:17Speaker 2: it was going to be to transport deportees. But it's not.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's not. It's a it's got a bedroom in it.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's got and you know, she's got this Corey Lewandowski
- 10:26Speaker 2: with her, and everybody keeps saying they're sleeping together. They're
- 10:30Speaker 2: both married and having this affair. So the plane with
- 10:33Speaker 2: the bedroom, I don't know, you do the math on that.
- 10:35Speaker 2: But now she's getting hit for spending two hundred and
- 10:39Speaker 2: twenty million dollars of taxpayer funded funds to pay for
- 10:44Speaker 2: TV ads. Now the ads star her, two hundred and
- 10:48Speaker 2: twenty million on ads that feature her. I guess it's
- 10:51Speaker 2: making herself very famous there. When asked about this in
- 10:55Speaker 2: the hearings, she said, well, the President Trump told me
- 10:59Speaker 2: to get the message out to the country and to
- 11:02Speaker 2: other countries. Well that's the message, it's not put your
- 11:06Speaker 2: face all over television. Then well, here she was testifying
- 11:10Speaker 2: yesterday about the shutdown.
- 11:11Speaker 4: And all that the latest Democrat led shutdown of DHS
- 11:14Speaker 4: as reckless, it's unnecessary, and it undermines the American national security,
- 11:19Speaker 4: and it harms the men and women who work at
- 11:21Speaker 4: DHS and their families.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Now there's one Democrat, Senator Koons is going after her
- 11:27Speaker 2: about you know, what if ICE agents showed up at
- 11:30Speaker 2: the polls when it's voting time? What if ICE agents
- 11:34Speaker 2: were there because they could scare away the illegals? I mean,
- 11:36Speaker 2: who else would you be scared of an ICE agent?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Now?
- 11:39Speaker 2: But he asked her about this, will.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You rule out the deployment of ICE or CBP to
- 11:44Speaker 1: polling places this November?
- 11:46Speaker 4: There are no plans to have ICE officers that are
- 11:49Speaker 4: polling locations.
- 11:50Speaker 3: And I'm glad you hear that, But would you rule
- 11:52Speaker 3: it out?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Would you say it will not happen?
- 11:54Speaker 4: Do you plan on illegal aliens voting in our elections?
- 11:57Speaker 3: Son? I do not?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Okay, all right, that was pretty good. Why would you
- 12:00Speaker 2: be afraid of Well, I just hope you don't send them.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Why would you hope there's no law enforcement at a
- 12:06Speaker 2: polling place? That doesn't make much sense. It's a little crazy. Hey,
- 12:12Speaker 2: you know, ozembic is more and more. This is not
- 12:14Speaker 2: just ozempic. There's like a bunch of these drugs. They
- 12:16Speaker 2: call them GLP one drugs. It takes away a lot
- 12:19Speaker 2: of your appetite. You still eat, but you eat a
- 12:21Speaker 2: lot lot less. So restaurants were going nuts because people
- 12:26Speaker 2: there on ozempic and they can't eat that much, so
- 12:30Speaker 2: they don't order as much. It's costing restaurants money. Now
- 12:33Speaker 2: a lot of restaurants started to do a special ozempic
- 12:36Speaker 2: menu where it's small portions. You know, otherwise you order
- 12:40Speaker 2: a whole big entree, you gotta throw away sometimes half
- 12:43Speaker 2: of it, three quarters of it. But the problem with
- 12:45Speaker 2: the ozempic menu, you know you're gonna get a small portion.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You can't charge as much. You gotta charge less, So
- 12:50Speaker 2: it doesn't really help the restaurant at all. And now
- 12:53Speaker 2: bakeries are complaining. A lot of bakeries in the trist
- 12:57Speaker 2: area they've seen a big drop in business because of
- 13:01Speaker 2: this ozembic Big Gardland news day to day. Here's a
- 13:04Speaker 2: Messina market East Norwich, Oyster Bay. I love that Messina market.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's great, but they own the bakery next door. They
- 13:11Speaker 2: said they've seen a big drop. Here's a couple of
- 13:13Speaker 2: bakeries in Long Island seen a big drop in business.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Now some of them they're going to do the same thing.
- 13:19Speaker 2: They'll sell little tiny items for the ozmbic people. So
- 13:23Speaker 2: you can buy a tiny croissant, you can buy a
- 13:25Speaker 2: tiny donut, you can buy a little pastry. But again
- 13:29Speaker 2: the problem is you can't charge as much. You got
- 13:32Speaker 2: to cut the price. So it really doesn't help the bakeries. Now,
- 13:35Speaker 2: if you own a bakery, I guess the only going
- 13:38Speaker 2: to tell you is just keep waiting, because once the
- 13:41Speaker 2: side effects from all these drugs start to show up
- 13:44Speaker 2: and hit people less unless people will be taking them. Now,
- 13:47Speaker 2: the ozembic is like twelve hundred dollars a shot, although
- 13:52Speaker 2: President Trump is working on getting that down to five
- 13:54Speaker 2: hundred a shot. It's got side effects. I mean, we've
- 14:01Speaker 2: already seen you get that ozempic face where you everything's
- 14:04Speaker 2: just starts drooping in your face. You can see it.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's ozempic face. It doesn't look good. Then you got
- 14:09Speaker 2: the apparently there's problems with your teeth from ozampik, all
- 14:13Speaker 2: kinds of teeth problems. So I would wait. You know what,
- 14:16Speaker 2: there's a freeway to lose weight, just eat less. You
- 14:20Speaker 2: can actually actually do it. Hey, big announcement this morning,
- 14:23Speaker 2: Curtis Leewa joining woor. He will be co host of
- 14:28Speaker 2: the morning show starting Monday Curtis six to ten AM
- 14:32Speaker 2: on seven ten w or Monday through Friday. It all
- 14:36Speaker 2: begins on Monday. He'll be co hosting with Larry mantein
- 14:39Speaker 2: this is big.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I am coming to the oldest talk radio station continuously
- 14:45Speaker 1: running in New York City and the best talk radio station.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So it doesn't get any better than that, joining with you,
- 14:51Speaker 1: Larry and the crew there at WOOR. I come back
- 14:55Speaker 1: to what people have been asking me to do ever
- 14:57Speaker 1: since I lost the election on November four.
- 15:00Speaker 2: A lot of people say, when are you getting back?
- 15:01Speaker 1: When are you getting back to talk radio?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Well, Monday, Monday, he'll start with Larry Mantine. Now, it's
- 15:06Speaker 2: tough to do a morning show. I can't do it.
- 15:09Speaker 2: It's just too tough. You got to get up, like,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I don't know, if the show starts at six, you
- 15:13Speaker 2: got to get up at I don't know, four thirty five. Now,
- 15:16Speaker 2: some of these all these morning guys, you know, they
- 15:18Speaker 2: live way out in the suburbs. They got to get
- 15:20Speaker 2: up like at three o'clock. And what I mean, I've
- 15:23Speaker 2: had to do a morning show through the years, filling
- 15:25Speaker 2: in a lot of times for Curtis. But if at
- 15:27Speaker 2: the morning show six to ten. I would get there
- 15:31Speaker 2: at six oh four because you got a newscast at
- 15:33Speaker 2: six oh five. But Curtis, if he has a morning
- 15:36Speaker 2: show at six, he'll get there at two. He's the
- 15:41Speaker 2: hardest working guy. In fact, Curtis will sleep at the station,
- 15:44Speaker 2: that's how dedicated he is. But remember, for years he
- 15:49Speaker 2: had like the number one morning show in New York.
- 15:51Speaker 2: It was Curtis and Koby. We could live without Kobe
- 15:55Speaker 2: much better with Curtis and Larry. And that all starts
- 15:58Speaker 2: Monday and on seven ten, wr Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is
- 16:06Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
