Welcome to Bible Chat, where we have devotional conversations

rooted in Scripture and relevant for today, March 12th.

Walking in Wisdom and Hope. Some seasons of life feel clear,
• 0:15
but others feel like walking through fog.
• 0:19
You may be trying to make a wise decision, wondering who you can
• 0:22
trust, or carrying emotions you do not even know how to explain.
• 0:27
Sometimes your mind is full of questions, your heart is tired,
• 0:31
and you are just hoping God will show you the next step.
• 0:34
In moments like that, wisdom and hope become more than nice
• 0:37
  ideas. They become life lines.
• 0:40
Proverbs chapter 12, verses 5 to 6 says the thoughts of the
• 0:44
righteous are just, The counsels of the wicked are deceitful.
• 0:48
The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of
• 0:52
the upright delivers them. That means what fills our minds
• 0:55
eventually shapes our words and actions.
• 0:59
When we let God guide our thinking, we begin to live with
• 1:01
clarity, honesty, and peace. Then Psalm chapter 30 verse 11
• 1:06
says, you have turned for me my morning into dancing.
• 1:11
You have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
• 1:14
What a beautiful reminder that sorrow is not the end of the
• 1:17
story. With God, He is able to bring
• 1:20
joy out of pain. And in Job chapter 25, verse
• 1:24
four, we hear the question, how then can a mortal be righteous
• 1:27
before God? It is a humbling question that
• 1:30
reminds us we need God's mercy, wisdom, and grace.
• 1:34
There will be times when life feels unfair, confusing, or
• 1:37
  heavy. You may feel overlooked,
• 1:39
  misunderstood, or unsure of yourself.
• 1:42
But God is not confused and He is not absent.
• 1:46
He sees the whole picture. He understands what you cannot.
• 1:49
He knows what to heal, what to remove, what to teach, and where
• 1:53
to lead. Walking in wisdom means refusing
• 1:55
to let pressure decide your path.
• 1:58
It means letting God shape your thoughts before the world shapes
• 2:01
them for you. Walking in hope means believing
• 2:04
that pain will not have the final word.
• 2:07
The same God who turns mourning into dancing can lift your
• 2:10
heart, steady your mind, and guide your steps.
• 2:13
You may not know everything right now, but you can know Him,
• 2:16
and that changes everything. Let's pray.
• 2:20
Heavenly Father, thank you for being my source of wisdom and
• 2:22
hope. When life feels confusing, help
• 2:25
me to think in ways that honor you.
• 2:28
When my heart feels heavy, remind me that you can turn
• 2:31
sorrow into joy. Teach me to trust your
• 2:33
perspective above my own and to walk with confidence in Your
• 2:36
truth each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
• 2:41

• 3:08
the universe and whether it points beyond itself.

complexity. Are they products of chance or

Proverbs Chapter 12 Verses 5 to 6 World English Bible The
• 4:12
thoughts of the righteous are just, but the advice of the
• 4:15
wicked is deceitful. The words of the wicked are
• 4:17
about lying in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright
• 4:20
rescues them. Psalm Chapter 30 World English
• 4:24
Bible A Psalm a song for the dedication of the temple by
• 4:28
David. I will extol you, Yahweh, for
• 4:31
you have raised me up and have not made my foes to rejoice over
• 4:34
me. Yahweh, my God, I cried to you,
• 4:36
and you have healed me. Yahweh, You have brought up my
• 4:39
soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive that I
• 4:41
should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to Yahweh, you
• 4:44
Saints of His. Give thanks to His holy name,
• 4:48
for His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a
• 4:51
lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night,
• 4:53
but joy comes in the morning. As for me, I said in my
• 4:56
prosperity I shall never be moved.
• 4:59
You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand
• 5:01
strong, but when you hid your face I was troubled.
• 5:04
I cried to you, Yahweh, I made supplication to the Lord.
• 5:08
What profit is there in my destruction if I go down to the
• 5:11
pit? Shall the dust praise you?
• 5:13
Shall it declare your truth? Hear Yahweh and have mercy on
• 5:16
  me. Yahweh, be my helper.
• 5:18
You have turned my morning into dancing for me.
• 5:21
You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness to
• 5:24
the end, that my heart may sing praise to you and not be silent.
• 5:28
Yahweh, my God, I will give thanks to you forever.
• 5:31
Job Chapters 25 to 27 World English Bible Then bilded the
• 5:36
shoe height answered, Dominion and fear are with him.
• 5:39
He makes peace in his high places.
• 5:41
Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not
• 5:44
arise? How then can man be just with
• 5:46
God? Or how can he who is born of a
• 5:48
woman be clean? Behold, even the moon has no
• 5:51
brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight.
• 5:54
How much less man who is a worm and the son of man who is a
• 5:57
worm? Then Job answered, How have you
• 6:00
helped him who is without power? How have you saved the arm that
• 6:03
has no strength? How have you counseled him who
• 6:06
has no wisdom and plentifully declared sound knowledge?
• 6:09
To whom have you uttered words whose spirit came out of you?
• 6:13
The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters, and
• 6:16
all that live in them. She all is naked before God, and
• 6:20
Abaddon has no covering. He stretches out the north over
• 6:23
empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.
• 6:25
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is
• 6:29
not burst under them. He encloses the face of His
• 6:32
throne and spreads His cloud on it.
• 6:34
He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and
• 6:37
to the confines of light and darkness.
• 6:39
The pillars of heaven tremble, and are astonished at His
• 6:42
rebuke. He stirs up the sea with his
• 6:44
power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.
• 6:48
By his spirit the heavens are garnished.
• 6:50
His hand has pierced the swift serpent.
• 6:53
Behold, these are but the outskirts of His ways.
• 6:56
How small a whisper do we hear of him but the Thunder of His
• 6:59
  power. Who can understand?
• 7:00
Job again took up his parable and said, As God lives, who has
• 7:04
taken away my right, the Almighty who has made my soul
• 7:07
bitter for the length of my life is still in me, and the Spirit
• 7:10
of God is in my nostrils. Surely my lips will not speak
• 7:14
unrighteousness, neither will my tongue utter deceit.
• 7:17
Far be it from me that I should justify you until I die.
• 7:21
I will not put away my integrity from me.
• 7:23
I hold fast to my righteousness and will not let it go.
• 7:27
My heart will not reproach me so long as I live.
• 7:30
Let my enemy be as the wicked, Let him who rises up against me
• 7:33
be as the unrighteous. For what is the hope of the
• 7:36
godless when he is cut off? When God takes away his life?
• 7:40
Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?
• 7:43
Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all
• 7:46
times? I will teach you about the hand
• 7:48
of God. I will not conceal that which is
• 7:50
with the Almighty. Behold, all of you have seen it
• 7:53
yourselves. Why then have you become
• 7:55
altogether vain? This is the portion of a wicked
• 7:58
man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive
• 8:01
from the Almighty. If His children are multiplied,
• 8:05
it is for the sword. His offspring will not be
• 8:07
satisfied with bread. Those who remain of him will be
• 8:10
buried in death. His widows will make no
• 8:13
lamentation, though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare
• 8:17
clothing as the clay. He may prepare it, but the just
• 8:20
will put it on, and the innocent will divide the silver.
• 8:23
He builds his house as the moth, as a booth which the watchman
• 8:26
makes. He lies down rich, but he will
• 8:28
not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is
• 8:31
  not. Terrors overtake him like
• 8:33
waters. A storm steals him away in the
• 8:36
night. The east wind carries him away,
• 8:38
and he departs. It sweeps him out of his place,
• 8:41
for it hurls at him and does not spare as he flees away from his
• 8:45
hand. Men will clap their hands at him
• 8:47
and will hiss him out of his place.
