- 0:08Hello, and welcome back to my channel.
- 0:10My name is Ronnie, said will defect and this is bunted
- 0:13laurentia. How are you all doing?
- 0:15I hope you're doing grades. So, for today's episode, hmm, I
- 0:19want to talk about the series that we've been doing on which
- 0:23is Married at First Sight. UK.
- 0:25Now, I want to talk about this thing because You know, the
- 0:30dating scene today like if you're single and if it would
- 0:34married and you have a single friend that you're trying to
- 0:36matchmake with somebody else, you may like to watch this, you
- 0:42may want to see this. I think one of the eye-openers
- 0:46watching this is regardless of how you think, you know, what
- 0:50you want. Let's say somebody asking what
- 0:53you want in a man. I will be like I want tall, dark
- 0:57handsome, God, fiery love. David hardworking and then this
- 1:03person goes and look for tall, dark handsome, God-fearing
- 1:07loving and hard-working guy and present that guy to you.
- 1:11Now, one of the things is you may not be attracted to this
- 1:15person. Yeah, the person is tall, dark
- 1:17and handsome, but maybe the chemistry's not there and
- 1:20certain things. You cannot force.
- 1:23So there are so many like different couples.
- 1:26I don't even I don't even want to mention their names, but I
- 1:30find, you know, it kind of gives you like an Insight on
- 1:35relationship Dynamics, it kind of give you an Insight on even
- 1:39the best matchmakers can bring the YouTube.
- 1:42Good people together and still have friction between these two
- 1:46people. Not because they were not
- 1:49matched not because they are not good people or just because
- 1:54these are two different people with different backgrounds,
- 1:57grunting different things. My God, my The mission of God
- 2:00fearing might be different from your definition of god.
- 2:03Fairy, maybe I want a God-fearing man, not really a
- 2:07pastor but maybe I want somebody who is spiritual who can you
- 2:12know, hold my hands and pray at night before going to bed.
- 2:16Don't stress me in the morning, just put out my hands.
- 2:21That's my definition of God fearing and somebody else
- 2:25interpreting that a. So she must want somebody who is
- 2:28very Aegis and somebody who possibly is a pastor.
- 2:33So they package it pass on the being a pastor to you.
- 2:36This is what you asked for, but is it too much, sometimes it is.
- 2:42So one of the couple, the guy is about 50.
- 2:46He said he's never been in. Love the lady in her 40s.
- 2:50She's been married twice. She has kids.
- 2:53So these two guys like they really smitten.
- 2:57He was even saying that there's a possibility.
- 3:01He can fall in love with her looking from the outside of
- 3:03judging, from, from what she specifically ones.
- 3:09That is everything She Wants. Like she wants somebody to love
- 3:12her. She wants somebody to be there
- 3:15for her. She wants somebody to care for
- 3:16her, but she is like cringe. Like I don't want to be
- 3:20anybody's first. I don't want to be anybody's,
- 3:23like, all on. All, you know, she's been
- 3:25married twice. She has two children.
- 3:27There are so many things that she has done.
- 3:30She's been in love, She's Got Married.
- 3:32She has two children and he has not done any of those things.
- 3:35She was like, there's so many first year that the pressure on
- 3:39her maybe too much for her to handle and she was like this
- 3:43just going to be too much. Now this is a dynamic or
- 3:46somebody getting everything that she wants.
- 3:49Bots is afraid of taking on the challenge of actually being
- 3:55vulnerable. I mean, I get it.
- 3:57Do you want to call Foo? She is Miss UK or something.
- 4:04I care about what you want. She's beautiful.
- 4:07She is like, you know, beauty queen kind of package.
- 4:12Then the guys, in his 40s, he's been married.
- 4:15He has four kids and during the wedding, she realized that this
- 4:20guy's been married, like he has four children, she literally
- 4:24panicked she freaked out. She was like, how am I going to
- 4:28handle for children? Like Eva she's not be marriage,
- 4:32doesn't have children. So it was kind of a challenge
- 4:34for her to take on and he also has like his own insecurities
- 4:38because according to him, he was married before he's been cheated
- 4:42on and basically a beauty queen is standing in front of me as
- 4:47his wife. And he all those insecurities
- 4:50are creeping back in because he's thinking, would she be
- 4:53faithful like this beautiful specimen in front of me?
- 4:57How can she be faithful to me? With as being married and has
- 5:01four children, how is that going to work?
- 5:03So, sometimes, regardless of how you want to see, two, Perfect
- 5:09People come together, their insecurities, my drive, a wedge
- 5:13in between them. Like, it's interesting.
- 5:17I really like getting my popcorn, every, you know,
- 5:20episode and just enjoying the whole thing, then there is a
- 5:23guardian and I think she's Jamaican but I don't know Bo the
- 5:27guy's Guardian his Kwame. He's in his forties, I think 42
- 5:32he's been married before and the lady is 37, and she has no
- 5:37memory just like I need somebody, I need to start a
- 5:40family and all that. These are two beautiful people
- 5:43like Beyonce and Jay-Z kind of level if they actually work
- 5:47together. So, let me just talk with the
- 5:49lady. She was meeting, she was
- 5:51attracted to him, she just wanted.
- 5:53Boom, boom, boom, let's go together.
- 5:54Let's get another sheets. Let's get this down, you know.
- 6:00It is attracted to a man like forget it, she would risk it,
- 6:04all whether on camera or not and she was ready to go there, but I
- 6:11I think he knew like that wasn't going to go anywhere.
- 6:15So he was like holding that intimacy card up to his chest.
- 6:19He was saying, let's just get to know each other, you know,
- 6:22properly before we get on the sheets, we don't have to do this
- 6:29that he would like to Take things slow that.
- 6:31He's a slow burner. His this is that he was just
- 6:34making all the excuses and she was like, let us get it done,
- 6:40let us get freaky, let us, you know, all these things.
- 6:43So I think also, I think the dynamic of that one is that you
- 6:47can get two perfect people and chemistry's, not there.
- 6:51Let's say, I think the guy. She is no historical.
- 6:55Like, she has, like the Kim Kardashian bom.
- 6:58Bom, she has like, the Anyways and everything, but I think she
- 7:04was his because she's on a plus-size kind of person.
- 7:07He may be go for, but it's so it's I think the whole thing
- 7:12just was like looks she is not what he would like to go for and
- 7:19that kind of put a wedge in our relationship or that marriage as
- 7:23the case may be. So there's too many Dynamics in
- 7:27the whole thing. Then we have The gay couple.
- 7:32So two ladies got married, fancied each other.
- 7:37The families, we are happy for them.
- 7:40He wore she one of them. She will soothe while the other
- 7:45one were in a wedding dress and it looked so beautiful.
- 7:49Everybody thought this is a match made in heaven.
- 7:53Yes, the problem. She's a vegan and he lost a leg.
- 8:00It's so ridiculous, like you kind of make these things up and
- 8:04that is a problem because she is trying to get him to not to eat
- 8:09meat. I mean, if you are vegan and
- 8:11you're married to somebody and go out to a restaurant, and that
- 8:14person is ordering stick. Also seeing during the
- 8:17honeymoon, they went out to eat and then he was punishing like,
- 8:20it doesn't know maybe before he orders where stake but now he
- 8:27was like contemplating on On what to order because he doesn't
- 8:31got for being, you know, the knees are arrived and this blood
- 8:35in it and she's going to panic. So he was trying to put her into
- 8:38consideration and ordered medium rare but even at that she was
- 8:44kind of freaking out. Like I am vegan and somebody all
- 8:48my wife is literally sitting in front of me and eating meat.
- 8:53How is that going to work? So they had a conversation, a
- 8:57lot. So these are the guy She is a
- 9:01stripper. He is 13 in his thirties and he
- 9:06is a stripper. She's also in our thirties, but
- 9:09she is kind of well, established as a job.
- 9:12She, he has a job too, so it's not like it's jobless, but she
- 9:19works in an office. Let me put it that way.
- 9:22He has a white collar job, and she owned a house.
- 9:26So, when she heard that, He is a stripper.
- 9:30She just started bawling. You would like crying that.
- 9:34She just wants somebody to take care of her.
- 9:37Now, that is a different thing. They see when they tell you, I
- 9:40want somebody who is caring. Sometimes people think Karen is
- 9:45emotion. Sometimes carrying has to do
- 9:48with taking care of me financially.
- 9:53I think that was our own definition of you know I knew I
- 9:55need somebody that is caring so she was like crying and the That
- 9:59was kind of asking him. Where do you see yourself in the
- 10:02next five years? So he couldn't come up with an
- 10:05answer. Although he fancies her, like he
- 10:07really likes her, he wants like get on with the whole marriage.
- 10:12As this case maybe button, she was holding back, she likes him.
- 10:17I think she was not allowing herself to even get to know him.
- 10:23So I think that was kind of driving a wedge in between them
- 10:26because she was like how do I explain to my children?
- 10:29And that their father is a stripper, so he was liking her
- 10:35and she was not liking him because of traffic toe, because
- 10:39she's thinking, I have mixed up lished.
- 10:41I have a good job. I have a house.
- 10:44I have a steady stream of income and I asked for somebody to take
- 10:48care of me and this guy, this guy does not have like a steady
- 10:54job. How does that go into?
- 10:56How is that going to work? So that One of the dynamic there
- 11:01is so lazy. She met a guy in The Altar and
- 11:04she did not like him, because what she listed everything she
- 11:09wanted was like physical attributes.
- 11:11She wanted somebody with beds, she wanted poldark handsome.
- 11:15She was she just listed everything.
- 11:17She listed was physical and the guy she had.
- 11:22She had bids body according to her the beds and of fool enough.
- 11:28I'm here. And I think she's used to having
- 11:34relationship with people who may be abusive because he appeared
- 11:39to be calm. He appeared to be nice or she
- 11:42said he had two sides to him. So like what we see on camera is
- 11:47different from what she's seen of camera.
- 11:49I mean, that was one of the things that she was hammering on
- 11:53board. Only surely have a problem with
- 11:55the fact that massive he is not getting fat on the author.
- 11:58She Ephesians to say to keep the groom's basically short.
- 12:04Like she does not want this wedding to go ahead because I'm
- 12:08on his shocker number two. He is not told that handsome, so
- 12:13it's, it's a very interesting Dynamic to see in refund people,
- 12:20wanting relationship or how people react to, what do they
- 12:24want in a relationship. But I can relate 100%, because
- 12:29Sometimes you think, okay, this is what I want and then you meet
- 12:32the person and what happens is because we live in a society
- 12:41where the ring finger, with the olden days where it's more of
- 12:47introduction. It's not like you're going back
- 12:50coming in, you know, you meet somebody on the description
- 12:53because people are now married. I think my day, what happens is
- 12:57that people meeting The one lady fall in love, get married
- 13:01immediately, my love. No, that is decent delayed
- 13:06commitment, kind of thing because people want to be
- 13:09extinguished before they get into relationships or marriages,
- 13:13which is understandable because the cost of living is way of the
- 13:17roof. So you need to get married to.
- 13:18Somebody who can if your mind having children is important
- 13:23that you get married to somebody that can cater for those
- 13:25children. Those little humans are very
- 13:28expensive. Consider all these things before
- 13:34they get married to somebody. And I think we're trying to
- 13:39settle with financially before you get married, has brought in
- 13:44a different layer or just to lay lightly, maybe your meats or the
- 13:51person you like is already married.
- 13:53And then you're thinking, where do I start from?
- 13:56What do you do? You go on Tinder?
- 13:58What do you You have family and friends who tries to matchmake
- 14:01you with people. I think what I've learnt in the
- 14:03whole thing is sometimes we talk about one sport being presented
- 14:08with what we ask for our reactions are sometimes
- 14:13cringe-worthy, but sometimes we just want to run, so let me know
- 14:19in the comment section. Have you been introduced to
- 14:20somebody? Show you what was your reaction?
- 14:22Let's say you just list it. Somebody asked me, this is your
- 14:27ideal partner or what? The ideal husband, what is the
- 14:30ideal wife and let's say your gladion.
- 14:33So you want to tall dark, handsome, caring, loving, God
- 14:38fearing and somebody presented. It was all over, there was no
- 14:43chemistry. Would you going to speak
- 14:44English? Forget about chemistry and go
- 14:48for the person just because this is exactly what you asked for
- 14:53all the. Do you think because there's no
- 14:54chemistry and just throw the whole person and we Keep
- 14:59searching. If you are somebody who you're
- 15:04single, you're not married and then you need somebody who's
- 15:07been married for drink with us. KU so I think he presented a
- 15:11very different Dynamics in relationship in the world today.
- 15:15And this is why I find it interesting because it kind of
- 15:19dealing with issues that otherwise we wouldn't see in a
- 15:23normal day relationship. So thank you very much for
- 15:28watching today's episode. So what I want you to put down
- 15:31in the comments section. If you'll be introduced to
- 15:33somebody before house it was your reaction.
- 15:36Do you immediately feel that connection or do you like crazy
- 15:40and be like, this is not for me. What was your reaction?
- 15:43I'd like to know. So thank you very much for
- 15:45watching. Today's episode by mind.
