- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Okay, this is a fun story, So Sistaney, you've been
- 0:12Speaker 2: in the midst. I actually would absolutely eat this. But
- 0:15Speaker 2: even in the midst of something like this before there's
- 0:17Speaker 2: a guy, if you haven't heard, he's gone really viral
- 0:20Speaker 2: about his complicated pizza order.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I didn't have such complicated requests when I was
- 0:25Speaker 1: pregnant or weird cravings like this, but I completely understand
- 0:29Speaker 1: because this is like a sleep deprived husband with his
- 0:32Speaker 1: pregnant wife that he's willing to do anything to make
- 0:35Speaker 1: her happy while she is, you know, carrying his child.
- 0:38Speaker 1: So this guy ordered a massive, large, hand tossed pizza,
- 0:40Speaker 1: but the real chaos was the toppings. So let me
- 0:43Speaker 1: just break it down. Triple pepperoni, extra cheese, banana peppers,
- 0:47Speaker 1: light jlipanos, half chicken, half mushroom, half caramelized onions, half olives,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and light sauce.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Which half there's not too many halves. Well that's part
- 0:57Speaker 3: of it.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And he goes on to show a note that he
- 1:02Speaker 1: left with the order, because you know how you can
- 1:04Speaker 1: order this and you put like, you know, notes like,
- 1:06Speaker 1: please know this or no that he goes Yes, I
- 1:08Speaker 1: know this looks insane. You're probably wondering who this dude is.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I have a very pregnant wife. I'm done questioning what
- 1:14Speaker 1: she wants. I'm scared of her, and honestly you should
- 1:18Speaker 1: be too. Thank you and godspeed. It's hilarious. People went
- 1:23Speaker 1: nuts over this online. That's why it's gone viral. And
- 1:26Speaker 1: if we were saying he didn't order at pizza, he
- 1:27Speaker 1: submitted a cry for help. Other people are like.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You the so os, please read between the lines and
- 1:34Speaker 2: come save me.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Somebody should check on him. No, And then people are
- 1:37Speaker 1: like you Ryan where They're like this pizza sounds fire. Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I like a lot of stuff on my pizza. I mean,
- 1:43Speaker 2: for you know, banana peppers, can we go there? They're underrated.
- 1:46Speaker 2: You get banana peppers on a sandwich, that changes your day.
- 1:49Speaker 4: You can banana peppers on a pizza any same thing.
- 1:51Speaker 2: No, it's a different. Banana peppers are different than peppercinies.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Peppercini's I think are the ones you can pop in,
- 1:56Speaker 2: You bite into and they pop. The banana peppers are
- 1:58Speaker 2: a little sweeter. Yeah, there's there's sweet. They're they're coming
- 2:03Speaker 2: for me. They're come in a jar, a jar full
- 2:05Speaker 2: of joy joy juice in that jar too, you can
- 2:08Speaker 2: drink the joy juice. But I like the mushrooms, I
- 2:10Speaker 2: like the chicken, I like I like the order.
- 2:12Speaker 1: There's a krama.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Another underrated topping. Caramelized on, caramelized on onions, caramelized onions
- 2:20Speaker 2: on a burger amazing. Yes, caramelized onions and fete cheese
- 2:26Speaker 2: on a pizza or tacos amazing. So I don't know.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm not saving you, sir. It sounds like, sir, you
- 2:31Speaker 2: are in a good place. I would you get to
- 2:32Speaker 2: eat some of this pizza too with your wife? Yeah, exactly,
- 2:36Speaker 2: makes you want to order a pizza now, but it's
- 2:38Speaker 2: too early, makes you want to order one this weekend,
- 2:40Speaker 2: for sure. Let me go to our intern Sofia. We
- 2:43Speaker 2: were talking about this all air sorority date parties. Tanya
- 2:47Speaker 2: says she did these all the time. I was not
- 2:50Speaker 2: in the Greek system at the University of Georgia's, so
- 2:53Speaker 2: my buddies were doing all that, and I was working
- 2:56Speaker 2: at going to school and working at the time, so
- 2:58Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Rush me too. I was at the radio station and
- 3:02Speaker 1: any chance I can, any chance I got.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's what it's same. I made that decision too. It
- 3:06Speaker 2: sounds fun kind of what y'all are doing, but I
- 3:08Speaker 2: don't know meat they're throwing meat balls at your head
- 3:11Speaker 2: or something.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Sometimes I worked on a ring show too when I
- 3:13Speaker 4: was in my sorority.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Because you don't have to like be us.
- 3:17Speaker 4: No, I'm just saying that you can do what you can.
- 3:19Speaker 4: You can do, you.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Don't have to. We're not putting you down.
- 3:23Speaker 2: We're just saying, okay, well, no, was like.
- 3:28Speaker 1: How did your brain go there? That was literally not
- 3:30Speaker 1: that at all.
- 3:31Speaker 2: We're not saying, ha, we were working and you weren't. Yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 2: but you weren't working as much. Obviously that's true, Sophia.
- 3:39Speaker 2: What is sorority dating? Date parties?
- 3:43Speaker 1: So a date.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Party is like an event, and I know some sororities
- 3:46Speaker 5: call them date parties. Some of them call them date dashes,
- 3:49Speaker 5: but we call them date parties. And it happens once
- 3:51Speaker 5: a year and it's this event that your sorority puts
- 3:54Speaker 5: on at like a certain place. So ours was at
- 3:56Speaker 5: this like glow in the Dark mini golf and we
- 3:59Speaker 5: just had it last week and everybody in the sorority
- 4:02Speaker 5: gets to attend and bring a plus one, so it's
- 4:05Speaker 5: like a supervun sisterhood event with everybody and my friends
- 4:09Speaker 5: and I we decided that we.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Weren't going to take anybody.
- 4:12Speaker 5: We weren't going to take any dates, guys, friends, nothing,
- 4:14Speaker 5: We were just going to go with ourselves have a
- 4:16Speaker 5: girl's night. And then last minute, one of our friends
- 4:20Speaker 5: she showed up with a guy and hung.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Out with him the entire night. Now were you guys
- 4:25Speaker 1: supportive about that or were you not supportive? We were
- 4:28Speaker 1: not supportive.
- 4:29Speaker 5: We were not supportive because she was actually the one
- 4:31Speaker 5: who suggested we don't bring dates.
- 4:34Speaker 2: The drama makes you know she was bring a guy
- 4:36Speaker 2: when she said that, so she could one up you.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I was kind of shocked when she showed up with him,
- 4:41Speaker 5: because I had somebody in mind who I wanted to bring,
- 4:44Speaker 5: but I was like, let me be a good friend,
- 4:46Speaker 5: and like, I didn't.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Take anyone, Tonny. Did this happen in your sorority dating parties?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Whatever they were?
- 4:52Speaker 3: We always brought dates Like it was like that was
- 4:55Speaker 3: like the thing because you only got to bring one,
- 4:57Speaker 3: and every guy wanted to come, so it was kind
- 4:59Speaker 3: of like, yeah, we always brought dates.
- 5:01Speaker 1: We never did did She'd stay with this guy the
- 5:04Speaker 1: whole time. The yeah, the whole time, and she was
- 5:07Speaker 1: kicked out the sorority.
- 5:09Speaker 2: No I didn't rush.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it was just really awkward.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Like when I would try to hang out with her,
- 5:20Speaker 5: it kind of just felt like a third wheel type thing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Well, look, I mean honestly, I'm not I don't know
- 5:25Speaker 2: about that, but I will say in my life, sometimes
- 5:28Speaker 2: I have such few nights where I can take someone
- 5:31Speaker 2: out and I want to see my friends. And sometimes
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'll hybrid it and I'll be like, I have a date,
- 5:36Speaker 2: but I also want to hang with you guys.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Kind of bring someone please, not a first date. This happened.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I have to explain that, Like, I don't know, some
- 5:48Speaker 2: weeks can go by and there's not a night to
- 5:50Speaker 2: do it unless I combine everybody.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's so interesting, But I kind of get it.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I feel like it makes your date feel less important.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Hey, they can't hang.
- 6:00Speaker 2: The girls farrisis and he Sometimes I'll do is like
- 6:04Speaker 2: start on the day and then merged with the friends.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Yeah that's cool, Okay, that's fine.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Well I'm getting more of her, so I don't totally
- 6:15Speaker 2: not understand what she did, but feel like she prizes
- 6:17Speaker 2: more time anyway, Thank you, good luck. What's her name? No,
- 6:21Speaker 2: don't say her name?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Jenna.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So there's a guy that unmatched you because of your
- 6:26Speaker 2: taste in music. Can you give us a little more
- 6:28Speaker 2: on that.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:30Speaker 6: So I matched with this guy on Hinge and we
- 6:32Speaker 6: were chatting and he asked me, like, what kind of
- 6:34Speaker 6: music I've been listening too lately? And I had told
- 6:36Speaker 6: him I had been listening to a lot of Sabrina
- 6:38Speaker 6: Carpenter because I had just gone to her show and
- 6:41Speaker 6: so it was like, you know, stuck in my head
- 6:43Speaker 6: and all that. And then I told.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Him some other music I was into, and then he
- 6:47Speaker 7: responded that he just didn't get the hype with Sabrina.
- 6:50Speaker 7: So I was like, oh, well that's fine, Like what
- 6:52Speaker 7: kind of music do you like? And when I went
- 6:54Speaker 7: back in like to see if he wrote me back,
- 6:57Speaker 7: he unmatched me.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I just want to stop. It strikes a chord with me.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I really think it's strange when someone says to me
- 7:10Speaker 2: about somebody that I like that they don't get it,
- 7:15Speaker 2: Like I almost find I almost get defensive.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so like a snarky way to say something.
- 7:20Speaker 3: But you have that take nice because then you can
- 7:22Speaker 3: tell them why you think that this artist is amazing
- 7:25Speaker 3: and then maybe change.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Their perspective on it.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I don't get like that. I get defensive. I take
- 7:29Speaker 2: it personally. I think they're judging me for the way
- 7:32Speaker 2: that I have said to you that I like something,
- 7:35Speaker 2: and the fact that you don't get it makes me
- 7:37Speaker 2: not get you. That's exactly what happens. So, Jenna, I
- 7:41Speaker 2: don't think this person is part of your.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Future, right, You're not meant to be with this person.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I think good for so definitely, definitely.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I just think it's also rude, Like it's rude to say, hey,
- 7:53Speaker 2: I love this.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You know what? I don't get it?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Well, you're not nice.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think it's as bad you're saying, well.
- 8:01Speaker 2: You don't date, Jenna and I do.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yes, just a dating thing. People do this and just
- 8:08Speaker 3: real life.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But dating is our priority in this conversation. Okay, Jenna,
- 8:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry I have to explain. Sometimes said Tan News
- 8:15Speaker 2: doesn't date.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I used to date.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not going down that whole path of you.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Back when my Space was popular.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Dating apps. The boy never even went on a dating app.
- 8:35Speaker 2: You know, the back room covered their mouths while they
- 8:37Speaker 2: laughed at that. F Yi, Jenna, we love you. This
- 8:41Speaker 2: guy's not for you.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I don't even get me started unleashing Sabrina on him,
- 8:49Speaker 2: by the.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Way, the way he put a handle, that would have
- 8:50Speaker 1: been like, oh my gosh, I don't understand her. But
- 8:52Speaker 1: like I would love to hear more from music.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Or his step. He doesn't want Sabrina Carpenter coming after him.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Manchild exactly. Thank you, Jenna.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Check this out to kiss up MS go to the
- 9:07Speaker 2: day in a second. We've had this discussion so many times.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I believe you can't be friends with your exes. Tanya
- 9:11Speaker 2: and Sysney differ, but their view is may be different
- 9:14Speaker 2: because they are married, So I can technically be right, and.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm also open about it.
- 9:18Speaker 2: If I'm in a relationship, I will say, look, I
- 9:21Speaker 2: still hear from, or check in with, or am friends with,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and if there's a problem.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Check in with, I'd like good bye.
- 9:30Speaker 2: A birthday, Happy birthday. Why But if there's a problem
- 9:34Speaker 2: with that, I say, tell me now.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Well, no one's gonna say You're.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Not just saying tell me now.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Always talk about it. This is a mature approach, Sysiny,
- 9:49Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I just can't imagine even having a conversation with any
- 9:53Speaker 1: of my exes. Honestly, don't even have like a memory
- 9:56Speaker 1: of them.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Well that's probably better. You have kids and a husband
- 9:58Speaker 2: like I don't.
- 9:59Speaker 1: And again, I've been with him for going on seventeen
- 10:01Speaker 1: years at this point, so it's just that feels like
- 10:03Speaker 1: a lifetime ago. But like any of.
- 10:06Speaker 4: These, I feel as though that this energy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Holding me back.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I got it. I know where you're going to this right, Yeah, it.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Might be holding you back into this like past. And
- 10:13Speaker 3: really what you need is to be present.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And yeah, maybe you should cut off all communication.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yes, do the workbook.
- 10:20Speaker 1: See no, no, don't.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't want to do another world task. Let me
- 10:24Speaker 2: just tell you what I read. So this came out
- 10:27Speaker 2: of the University of Arizona. Actually came to the conclusion
- 10:32Speaker 2: that the answers no every time with an X, including
- 10:36Speaker 2: textphone calls, and emails, makes you one percent more miserable.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Wow, more viserb think about all those percentages that have
- 10:43Speaker 1: piled up over the years.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I'm thinking about it differently, and Tony's telling me it's
- 10:47Speaker 2: holding me back.
- 10:48Speaker 4: I think it might be holding you back.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Try for like this at least to the end of
- 10:52Speaker 1: the year, not to contact an X. Right, there's no
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ill Will.
- 10:55Speaker 3: It's not like we're saying you need to wish Ill
- 10:56Speaker 3: Will on these exodus. You just put it in the past.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Make this your What was the thing that I was
- 11:02Speaker 1: talking about yesterday? Like get it done until the end
- 11:05Speaker 1: of the year, like your resolution.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I remember yesterday, show lock it in, lock it in.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I can't remember how I got here this morning.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Sometimes I drive in, I'm like I remember xiting because
- 11:17Speaker 1: you either get it, but I'm an auto.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But you're not paying attention exactly. Here's today's quote. Don't
- 11:22Speaker 2: wait for the stars to align, reach up and rearrange
- 11:28Speaker 2: them the way you want them.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That's right.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I kind of love it. And it's been a moon.
- 11:34Speaker 2: It's been a moon earlier this week.
- 11:35Speaker 1: The moon this week has been a moon. Been a moon.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Kiss FM. That's for Al Williams who said that headline Sysney,
- 11:42Speaker 2: we're rolling up on seven o'clock what you kiss FM?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Headlines.
- 11:46Speaker 8: So, officials have announced that all evacuations have been lifted
- 11:50Speaker 8: in the Garden Grove chemical crisis, saying there was there
- 11:53Speaker 8: is no longer a risk of explosion, no chemical leak,
- 11:57Speaker 8: no threat of fire, and no.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Risk to the public. The DMV resolved a network outage
- 12:03Speaker 1: yesterday that impacted its ability to process driver's licenses. Irvine
- 12:08Speaker 1: was named the third best city in America to raise
- 12:12Speaker 1: a family, behind Fremont, California, and Overland Park in Kansas.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And Planet Fitness is bringing back its high school Summer
- 12:20Speaker 1: Past program, offering teens free access to its gyms nationwide
- 12:26Speaker 1: starting on Monday.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I'm one of two point seven kiss FM Sisany tell
- 12:31Speaker 2: us what quiet dating is. I guess it's something that
- 12:34Speaker 2: people have been known to do over time, but it's
- 12:36Speaker 2: not got a name exactly.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It now has a name, and it's where people are
- 12:41Speaker 1: dating in a super low key like laid back, chilled
- 12:45Speaker 1: out way. No pressure, no big announcements, no overthinking like
- 12:50Speaker 1: what are we every five minutes. You're not centering your
- 12:55Speaker 1: entire life of finding the one. Instead, you're just living
- 13:00Speaker 1: in your life, doing your thing and letting the dating
- 13:03Speaker 1: be a small side plot rather than the whole storyline.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It's very kind of like soft launched your relationship energy
- 13:11Speaker 1: without actually trying to soft launch anything at all. So
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm curious if you think Rian that you're a quiet
- 13:17Speaker 1: dat or have been in.
- 13:19Speaker 2: The past now. The answer is yes, I have been
- 13:24Speaker 2: in the past, probably for too long. That is the thing,
- 13:27Speaker 2: because it's liberating in a way to say, you know what,
- 13:29Speaker 2: I'm not getting up every day thing and the number
- 13:31Speaker 2: one thing in my life is to have to find somebody.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I'm not going guys, don't need somebody to do what
- 13:38Speaker 2: I want to do to be me. Don't need it
- 13:41Speaker 2: right until you do. Because if you go too long
- 13:44Speaker 2: with that quiet dating, you realize that you are still
- 13:48Speaker 2: quiet dating and you need to turn up the volume
- 13:51Speaker 2: a little bit. So I did that. I don't think
- 13:53Speaker 2: i'm in that. I know I'm not in that stage now.
- 13:55Speaker 2: But I used to say things to my mom.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Like, mah, just have fun, just feel it'll happen. What happens.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just having a good time.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Worry it's all good. I can't brust this.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But are you still saying that? No, gosh, no, I'm
- 14:12Speaker 2: not young, and I can't say that anymore. I've said
- 14:14Speaker 2: that with new lines for my mom.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm torn on this one. I feel like it's healthy
- 14:19Speaker 1: to be like, I'm not losing myself in somebody. So
- 14:22Speaker 1: there's that approach, But then there is the like, is
- 14:24Speaker 1: it kind of lazy dating? Like it's you're not even putting.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Any efforts, partner, Why would you not treat it like
- 14:30Speaker 3: you treat going after your dream job?
- 14:32Speaker 2: If you want a dream job right away?
- 14:35Speaker 3: If you wanted your dream job, you want to just
- 14:37Speaker 3: sit back and quietly be like, let me to send
- 14:39Speaker 3: a resume here, and send a resume there.
- 14:41Speaker 4: No, you go after what you want?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Do we strike Did we strike a chord?
- 14:48Speaker 9: There?
- 14:48Speaker 4: I did like loud dating. I was like the opposite
- 14:51Speaker 4: of this, right.
- 14:52Speaker 2: But then once you turn it down, you've met the person.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Now.
- 14:55Speaker 2: The thing is, culturally, everybody wants to put you in
- 14:59Speaker 2: that spot where you gotta have somebody. You got to
- 15:02Speaker 2: find your person. You don't until you do, So you
- 15:06Speaker 2: don't have to until you want to. That's just because
- 15:10Speaker 2: everybody else has one. I mean, you know any people
- 15:12Speaker 2: have said to me over the years, Oh, just want
- 15:14Speaker 2: to find him his person? Well I didn't need my person,
- 15:18Speaker 2: then glad.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You found yours? One two point seven? Good morning?
- 15:24Speaker 2: Was that something that I read? I'll just share with you.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Dave homeowners, some of them think that you get these
- 15:28Speaker 2: they keep burglars away. Doesn't exactly work it. It may
- 15:32Speaker 2: work the opposite way, so I don't want to harp
- 15:35Speaker 2: on it, but be careful. People are getting sick out there.
- 15:37Speaker 2: It's a flu that's bad. And what I keep everything
- 15:41Speaker 2: I say, I'm learning not from doctors, so just take
- 15:44Speaker 2: that with a grain.
- 15:45Speaker 1: But I guess there are a couple kinds of flu. Ab.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I got the A, friends of mine got the B.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Apparently the B makes you nauseous. I didn't get nauseous,
- 15:53Speaker 2: so that was a plus plus. Yeah, But what I
- 15:57Speaker 2: was saying to Sisiny earlier this week, they're not a sympathy.
- 16:01Speaker 2: People don't really dishellot of sympathy for the flu because
- 16:03Speaker 2: it's so common, which is fine.
- 16:04Speaker 1: But I tell you what I.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Did see an act of generosity and kindness. People offering
- 16:09Speaker 2: their DIY bath tips.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Oh that's nice, so I can relax and try to
- 16:14Speaker 1: get your mind off the pain.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Well yeah, but more than that, like a formula, different
- 16:21Speaker 2: ingredients that you put into the bath so that it
- 16:24Speaker 2: can relieve any congestion and get rid of whatever the
- 16:28Speaker 2: vibes are, the germs are that are running through your body.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So the one I took Last night, I sent Mark
- 16:33Speaker 2: a picture.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I thought Mark got a picture of you in the bath.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't want to send you all a picture
- 16:39Speaker 2: of me. I feel like more professionals send it to
- 16:42Speaker 2: Mark then to send it to you guys.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And Mark, where you're in the bath in this photo.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's a picture of all the ingredients of your bath.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I wasn't me.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I want to see that. Yeah, Mark, where's that picture?
- 16:58Speaker 1: I want to post me? Are doing slack for the text? Okay? Slack?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Please?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Never slack me. You're I would never slack you. You're
- 17:09Speaker 1: not even on our slack while I'm on it right now.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna be slackless this year.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Put that back up. Oh this is good. Okay.
- 17:16Speaker 2: So here's what I bathed the last night. Check it out.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Ground Yeah, healing clay, ground, ginger arm and hammer baking
- 17:25Speaker 2: soda and apple cider, vinegar and EPs and salt.
- 17:28Speaker 1: How did you how much?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Somebody sent me half cup cup whatever? And you sent
- 17:33Speaker 2: me the measurements. I put all this in the rubbit tub,
- 17:36Speaker 2: and I gotta tell you it's kind of nice. You're
- 17:40Speaker 2: in ginger baking soda powdered clay, apple sided vinegar, and
- 17:44Speaker 2: epsom salt.
- 17:46Speaker 1: What is that? Is that the white jar? Is that
- 17:49Speaker 1: the clay you're talking about.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yes, it's powdered clay. Somehow it's supposed to help pull
- 17:54Speaker 2: this stuff out of maybe out of your system. So again,
- 17:58Speaker 2: if you want to try it, I did. I fell
- 18:00Speaker 2: nice apple side of vinegar, like a half Its just
- 18:02Speaker 2: half cup.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Of this stuff.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Okay, just half cup it apple side of vinegar, baking soda,
- 18:07Speaker 2: ground ginger, epsom salt, warm bat. You gotta go for
- 18:10Speaker 2: forty five minutes. So I did an eyebook.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Okay, why didn't you do audible? I don't have that
- 18:21Speaker 1: you need it.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I mean I do, but I just I don't know.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I just my fingers were wet and I got to
- 18:24Speaker 2: eyebook icon faster. So I just wanted to share my
- 18:29Speaker 2: di why bath with you.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm impressed that you did this. Did it work? Yeah?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Well no, yes, no, I don't know. And how did
- 18:37Speaker 1: this drain? Just by curiosity? Uh? It just it's still
- 18:42Speaker 1: a little stainy.
- 18:46Speaker 2: All right, guys, Kanye is out, Sophia is sitting in
- 18:49Speaker 2: her chair this morning.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Thank you for doing that. All right?
- 18:53Speaker 2: So every once in a while, these strike me. I'm
- 18:56Speaker 2: pretty clear on it. It's saying that a lot of
- 18:58Speaker 2: people are divided about on the internet, Sophia says, and
- 19:02Speaker 2: he tell me where you stand. So this is a
- 19:05Speaker 2: pretty even split. But Monica's her name. She posted this
- 19:08Speaker 2: on TikTok the video from her bachelorette party okay, And
- 19:12Speaker 2: in the video, she was reacting to a video that
- 19:19Speaker 2: her bride'smaid showed her okay on our Bachelorette of all
- 19:23Speaker 2: of her ex boyfriends wishing her well. Right, little montage
- 19:27Speaker 2: of the ex is saying good luck with the next chapter.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So you're at the bacherette party, you're watching video, You're
- 19:32Speaker 2: at your boyfriends wishing you well. How how does that
- 19:35Speaker 2: go over? What do you think is his name? Oh?
- 19:37Speaker 1: My gosh. I'm kind of torn on this because I
- 19:40Speaker 1: feel like the the desire was for it to be
- 19:44Speaker 1: funny and like, this is gonna be cute, And I
- 19:46Speaker 1: think if this happened to me, I would find it
- 19:48Speaker 1: really funny because I didn't really have like a terrible
- 19:50Speaker 1: breakup with every X, And so if they were actually
- 19:53Speaker 1: saying something nice like who cares, Like it's in the past,
- 19:56Speaker 1: like move on, yeah, yes, so I don't think it's
- 19:59Speaker 1: that big of a deal. But I could see how
- 20:02Speaker 1: like if you had a bad breakup, or it just
- 20:05Speaker 1: brings up these old feelings, or if she's she's not
- 20:07Speaker 1: really sure she's gonna marry this dude. Like, I don't know,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I could like mess with your brain.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Sophia, would this? But you're I mean, how many boy
- 20:14Speaker 2: friends have you had?
- 20:15Speaker 1: I've had two? Yeah, how would you?
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's a lot to think about here in college. But
- 20:21Speaker 2: would you want that? Honestly disrespectful to the I.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Think it's really disrespectful. If I was on like on
- 20:27Speaker 5: the fiance side, I would get super jealous.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I don't know if I just get but would the
- 20:33Speaker 1: fiance prefer a bunch of strippers coming into the hotel?
- 20:37Speaker 1: You don't have history and working on your soon to
- 20:40Speaker 1: be wife? What's better?
- 20:45Speaker 2: I didn't think about all that part. Yeah, I mean
- 20:48Speaker 2: to me, you know, I don't know my fiance. I'm
- 20:52Speaker 2: sure she's lovely, I'm sure she's great.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I can't.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Uh I to any of my ex girlfriends. I would
- 21:03Speaker 2: love to put this montage together. We could go and
- 21:06Speaker 2: build it now, have it can be ready to go. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 2: like the old bit ready to go in.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Case saying how oh my god, why not? That's so funny.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I'd be great.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Get all the we'll get together all shoot it. Well,
- 21:22Speaker 2: I'm single, that's fine.
- 21:24Speaker 1: You need to be there. No, we need a surprise.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Here's some Italian I.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Do everybody, We'll just you know, maybe maybe we tell
- 21:34Speaker 2: them I'm engaged, but I'm not just to get the right,
- 21:36Speaker 2: you know, spirit right.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Maybe it's a bad idea. Anyway. Internet's divided over it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: These things are are they funded? Walk down and rehash? Yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 1: especially assistant when you put it in that A or B.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I think the ex BOYF video is not that bad compared.
- 21:53Speaker 2: To what you said.
- 21:54Speaker 1: True, most people might agree.
- 21:57Speaker 9: You're on Kiss FM on with Ryan Seacrest.
- 22:03Speaker 1: This is Kiss. You're watching something.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Who done it? Who done it? And you think they
- 22:12Speaker 2: didn't figure out? You know what I'm gonna do. I'm
- 22:14Speaker 2: gonna go put on my trousers. I'm gonna get out there.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'm ana fair out who did do it. It's not
- 22:19Speaker 2: my job. I'm not a cop, I'm not a p I.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I'm not trained. You know, I'm not Matt Locke. I'm
- 22:27Speaker 2: gonna get out there and figure is Matt Locker who
- 22:29Speaker 2: done it?
- 22:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That just popped into my head ifl like Matt Lock's
- 22:31Speaker 2: an attorney.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I was trying to think of there's a really
- 22:37Speaker 1: old show called Murder. She wrote, what was her name?
- 22:39Speaker 2: Jessica Lang, Jessica Lang. Look it up, kids, we're gonna
- 22:45Speaker 2: Jessica Fletcher. Oh, Jessica Wait, who's Jessica Lang?
- 22:49Speaker 1: Was an actress. She was in among Wow.
- 22:52Speaker 2: You can't expect they got one of the names. You
- 22:56Speaker 2: can't exp Angela Lansberry's who I'm thinking. I'm not even Jessica.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Look the show The Wheel, there's two wheels on a four. Okay,
- 23:04Speaker 2: But the point is I never listened to your true
- 23:06Speaker 2: Crime and be like, I'm gonna go solve it. Now
- 23:07Speaker 2: you're telling me that some La moms ye had some
- 23:09Speaker 2: time after their kids went to school, decided to pick
- 23:12Speaker 2: a cold case and they solved it.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yes, these moms had kids that are kind of getting older,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and they're kind of in that stage of their life
- 23:18Speaker 1: where they have a little bit extra more free time.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Maybe the kids are now driving, so they're not like
- 23:24Speaker 1: driving them so much, and they decided during the pandemic
- 23:27Speaker 1: to bond over their love for true crime. I saw
- 23:30Speaker 1: this whole article in the La Times about this book
- 23:32Speaker 1: and these moms, and they just started looking into this
- 23:35Speaker 1: this old case from like fifteen years ago, and it
- 23:38Speaker 1: was a cold case, just out of curiosity. They had
- 23:41Speaker 1: no law enforcement backgrounds. These four moms are just regular
- 23:45Speaker 1: moms working different jobs, different careers, and they tracked down records,
- 23:50Speaker 1: they followed leads, they would communicate, you know, in between
- 23:55Speaker 1: carpoos and things, just like be like what did you find?
- 23:57Speaker 1: What did you find? And ultimately they ended up solving
- 24:00Speaker 1: this fifteen year old case, which I just think is
- 24:02Speaker 1: so remarkable for them to completely now shift their careers
- 24:07Speaker 1: and this is like what they're doing. The book's called
- 24:11Speaker 1: The Carpool Detectives if you want to check it out.
- 24:13Speaker 1: But the whole thing was just a really interesting second act.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Are they doing pro bono or are they getting fees
- 24:20Speaker 2: from something?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Because these are the questions and I feel like we
- 24:24Speaker 1: need to like I want to have them on, like
- 24:26Speaker 1: if these are LA moms, like come on, and we
- 24:29Speaker 1: need to talk to you. Anything to be scared of.
- 24:33Speaker 1: That's the thing, right when you start digging into some
- 24:36Speaker 1: of these cases, what if there's relatives of said murderer
- 24:42Speaker 1: who knows, Like, yeah, I don't know. I would be
- 24:43Speaker 1: scared to be connected to anything like that.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Look, I can't listen to true crime anyway. I can't
- 24:49Speaker 2: even like you sisty friends of mine, they love it
- 24:52Speaker 2: before I love the true crill like.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Run Away on Netflix's kind of true crime is not true.
- 25:00Speaker 1: This is true fiction, but it's a mystery. It's like
- 25:06Speaker 1: who who did it? Whop?
- 25:08Speaker 2: It's can'ty like I can sleepy sleep after that one. Sure, uh,
- 25:14Speaker 2: but it's fascinating. Good on them getting out there and
- 25:16Speaker 2: being proact. I know, coming up next they should work
- 25:19Speaker 2: on some new stuff. I mean, if you want to
- 25:21Speaker 2: solve some crimes, like what's what's active? What's out there now?
- 25:23Speaker 2: We need to know LA's number one at music station.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest, Sisney and Tanya So. Sisney, you had an
- 25:30Speaker 2: interesting running you were saying with customer sales. What happened?
- 25:34Speaker 1: It threw me off. I'm in the middle of refinancing
- 25:37Speaker 1: and I called the lender to get a form that
- 25:39Speaker 1: we needed for something. So you know, you're on hold
- 25:41Speaker 1: and then you get transferred and then this that, and
- 25:44Speaker 1: so they asked me to confirm my name. I say
- 25:46Speaker 1: it's Sisney via Clara, and he goes, oh, that's beautiful.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Can I call you Sissy?
- 25:53Speaker 2: What Cisy?
- 25:56Speaker 1: It really caught me off guards Sissy. No, No, it's
- 26:01Speaker 1: not my name. I don't know you like I just customer.
- 26:06Speaker 6: You know that.
- 26:08Speaker 1: It is completely and in my whole life, a lot
- 26:11Speaker 1: of people call me Sis, and that's a very natural
- 26:14Speaker 1: nickname for me, but I've never gotten sissy since, Like
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know, it probably like triggered me because in elementary school,
- 26:22Speaker 1: when anybody did call me sissy, I didn't like it,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and so I just immediately was like, no, you can't.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Sorry was their awkwardness and did you get the service
- 26:32Speaker 2: you need as a customer?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Where it was I did get the service I needed,
- 26:35Speaker 1: but there was an awkwardness to the point where I
- 26:37Speaker 1: still felt like I needed to give him a nickname,
- 26:39Speaker 1: And so I said, you can call me Sis, and
- 26:41Speaker 1: then he goes, Okay, let's just let's just.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Go through the psyche of all that you don't know
- 26:47Speaker 2: this person you're calling customer service line, their job is
- 26:50Speaker 2: to service the customer. Now you feel guilt that this
- 26:53Speaker 2: person doesn't have a comfortable nickname with you, so you
- 26:55Speaker 2: have to provide this person. It's something you're almost uncomfortable with,
- 26:58Speaker 2: so that you can move on to get what you
- 27:00Speaker 2: need out of the customer service call. I don't like it,
- 27:03Speaker 2: that's all.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I didn't like it at all either. It'd be like
- 27:06Speaker 1: you calling and you're saying it's Ryan, and can I
- 27:09Speaker 1: call you ry Rye.
- 27:10Speaker 4: You're like, whatever you want, you'll help me.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean if I can get to the front
- 27:16Speaker 2: of the queue. Yeah, and you can stop that music
- 27:19Speaker 2: you play while I'm holding you called me Rye Bone,
- 27:21Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yeah, just keep bone. Caught me off guard.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It is a very I'm taking. I would be taken
- 27:29Speaker 2: aback by that as well. So I never have never
- 27:35Speaker 2: crossed my mind to call you sissy.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Never.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like a term of endearment, even if your
- 27:40Speaker 4: name is not Sisney.
- 27:42Speaker 2: It's gonna be a seminal moment here on kisspan. This
- 27:45Speaker 2: happens to all of us.
- 27:45Speaker 1: At one point in our careers and our lives.
- 27:47Speaker 2: To me, sometimes a weekly basis with my mother and
- 27:51Speaker 2: our intern's mother is having no more. Her arms are up.
- 27:57Speaker 2: She's tired of it. Yeah's people do this up in
- 28:00Speaker 2: arms like I couldn't get to the I need more coffee.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Her arms. I'm trying to get to that. What's that saying?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Up in arms? But what I get? Her arms are up?
- 28:09Speaker 2: What's wrong Tanya?
- 28:12Speaker 4: With me?
- 28:13Speaker 1: No? No, with you?
- 28:14Speaker 2: With you?
- 28:15Speaker 1: With me?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Her arms are up? No, Ryan, that's not the expression
- 28:18Speaker 2: up in arms.
- 28:19Speaker 1: She's up in arms about the man.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Thank you for putting it together. Though you decoded. Sometimes
- 28:24Speaker 2: we need to be decoded, right, So our intern Sophia
- 28:27Speaker 2: here she is. She's talking about school. She's talking about
- 28:31Speaker 2: her Chateau Brion or whatever, well beef Wellington.
- 28:36Speaker 1: To me, in my head, it's the same thing stick
- 28:39Speaker 1: she burnt.
- 28:40Speaker 2: It for the holidays, talking about her family, some about
- 28:43Speaker 2: this guy skeletor that she met. She about the guy
- 28:46Speaker 2: being a great guy. Some about four or five dates
- 28:48Speaker 2: with the guy, getting serious with the guy now. And
- 28:50Speaker 2: guess who's up in arms? Mama, Sophia's mom, Sophia, this
- 28:57Speaker 2: all happened to us. Connie gets upset with me on
- 28:59Speaker 2: a weekly my mother, Oh yeah, now, what is wrong?
- 29:02Speaker 1: What is your mom upset about? Sophia?
- 29:04Speaker 5: She just gets upset that I don't really tell her
- 29:07Speaker 5: anything that goes on. And she has to hear it
- 29:10Speaker 5: from the air area, and she's probably listening right now.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So, hi mom, what's mom's name. Her name is Monique, Monique.
- 29:18Speaker 2: What a beautiful name, Monique. Yes, and so she said
- 29:22Speaker 2: to you, what.
- 29:24Speaker 5: So I remember when we discussed my biology midterm grade.
- 29:28Speaker 5: I got a fifty two, not the best. She calls
- 29:30Speaker 5: me the next day, She's like, oh, hi, fifty two.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Whoa, I didn't know you knew about.
- 29:37Speaker 5: That, and she and then it was like a twenty
- 29:39Speaker 5: minute lecture about how I like failed that midterm and
- 29:42Speaker 5: all that stuff. And then when she heard I went
- 29:45Speaker 5: on the first date, she called me later that night
- 29:48Speaker 5: and she was like, you went on a first date
- 29:49Speaker 5: and you didn't even tell me, and da dah, da dah.
- 29:51Speaker 5: You met him out a Halloween party and dad and
- 29:53Speaker 5: I was like.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Well tell Monique.
- 29:56Speaker 2: That's what we've been doing.
- 29:56Speaker 1: We don't saying the same thing.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Monique, we got you exactly what came out of
- 30:01Speaker 2: our mouths. You met this skeletorween party. Now you're dating
- 30:03Speaker 2: the guy was crying on.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Yeah, she's upset that I'm like not updating her or anything.
- 30:08Speaker 5: And she told me, She's like, tell me all about him,
- 30:11Speaker 5: like what do you guys.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Do when you date? And I'm like, you're just gonna
- 30:13Speaker 1: have to listen in.
- 30:14Speaker 2: We did not ask those questions. What were the answers
- 30:17Speaker 2: they were?
- 30:19Speaker 1: We go out, we got pazzuki, and.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Well we did ask. Okay, we knew that part about it.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I tell them what Monique I told her. If they
- 30:26Speaker 2: go to cold Stone Creamery, that's next level. Like a
- 30:30Speaker 2: cold Stone creamery date is a next level date. It's
- 30:32Speaker 2: an ice cream date.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Why why is that next level?
- 30:34Speaker 2: There's something about it?
- 30:35Speaker 1: Have you ever been there? Like a long time ago?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Crew osty, I'm a cold Stone Creamery guy. Slap that
- 30:43Speaker 2: thing up, man, what do you want in it?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Boom?
- 30:45Speaker 2: That is a big deal going for that cold Stone
- 30:47Speaker 2: Creamery ice cream. There's something just more charming or romantic
- 30:52Speaker 2: about ice cream versus I, like a pazuki is wins
- 30:57Speaker 2: me over. I love a pazuki, but I'm a cookie guy.
- 31:00Speaker 2: But a creamery, like an ice cream is a charming date.
- 31:04Speaker 2: It's a very charming day. There's the thing about the old school.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I don't so charming for you.
- 31:15Speaker 2: I have I have ways to disguise any gassiness. I've
- 31:20Speaker 2: developed a few things, Tanya, I should. I don't know
- 31:22Speaker 2: how to tell you about them, but I've developed a
- 31:23Speaker 2: few screens. I'm not gonna put it in text, but
- 31:26Speaker 2: I've developed a few ways that you can you can
- 31:29Speaker 2: diffuse anything that makes you bubbly after having it that
- 31:32Speaker 2: they don't know about.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Is it like a breathing technique. No, it's like a
- 31:36Speaker 1: morning to me.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It involves a lot of systems inside the body. Okay,
- 31:40Speaker 2: I'll say that everybody's got to work in tandem. All
- 31:42Speaker 2: the system's got to work in tandem. But look, my
- 31:45Speaker 2: mother's been through this. She's decided this. You can tell
- 31:48Speaker 2: Monique this that Connie Seacrest has decided this, and she'll
- 31:51Speaker 2: say it to you. She'll say it to Siciny. She'll
- 31:53Speaker 2: say to anybody the das just don't get too attached.
- 31:56Speaker 2: That's what she says to me. I just don't get
- 31:58Speaker 2: too attached. He'll say something, and the next day he'll
- 32:00Speaker 2: say something else. He'll he'll introduce me to somebody, and
- 32:03Speaker 2: the next day that person's not around.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Oh, your mom says that about you.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, she says, I just don't get too attached. She'll listen,
- 32:10Speaker 2: But does he get too attached?
- 32:13Speaker 1: What's wrong with that?
- 32:16Speaker 2: I think it's great. It took me twenty years to
- 32:18Speaker 2: get her to say that.
- 32:19Speaker 1: What if she wants to get attacked? I get it, though.
- 32:21Speaker 1: That's like me with like my nephew's girlfriends. I get
- 32:24Speaker 1: all attached. I start following them on Instagram and then
- 32:26Speaker 1: they break up and I'm like, God.
- 32:28Speaker 2: That you can't my mom's book. I don't get too attached.
- 32:31Speaker 2: That's what's gonna be called my Constance Zillinger secret. All right, friends, Monie,
- 32:36Speaker 2: good to have you on as a listener, though, Tell
- 32:38Speaker 2: a couple other friends. We'll take it, okay, kiss FM.
- 32:41Speaker 2: One more thing before we go, Sisny, what is your
- 32:44Speaker 2: biggest pet peeve that other drivers do on the road
- 32:46Speaker 2: or that Michael does when you drive.
- 32:49Speaker 1: When they cut me off? If somebody cuts me off?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Tanya, what's the biggest pet peeve you have with other
- 32:55Speaker 2: drivers or when Robbie drives.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I really dislike when people put their life feet outside
- 33:00Speaker 3: the window.
- 33:02Speaker 2: So I don't like it when someone says to me
- 33:04Speaker 2: every time, be careful.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Oh I do that to Michael all the time.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Do you think I am not being careful? Yes?
- 33:12Speaker 1: Careful?
- 33:12Speaker 4: How about we live and careful? And then tell me otherwise.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Be careful, right, be careful? Okay, well I'm being careful,
- 33:19Speaker 2: but now I'm not careful because I'm looking over at
- 33:21Speaker 2: you telling me to be careful.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So who's careful? Now? Did you let it all out? Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 1: you're good.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Let's go home.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I have a great day. Guys.
