This week, a good news story and some cautious optimism!Rio Tinto's Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) has announced it's abandoning the Ranger 3 Deeps project. With the current mining lease expiring in 2021, the Mirarr traditional owners have called for the rehabilitation of the site and the complete protection of Kakadu from mining.
