Boise’s iconic Lowell Pool, shuttered since 2020 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is finally getting a $9.4 million makeover after years of advocacy and hurdles. The renovation will restore its original charm while modernizing safety, accessibility, and infrastructure—including asbestos removal, new plumbing, ADA-compliant facilities, and a fresh pool surface.
