Understanding God's Revelation - G.K. Wallace
G.K. Wallace examines Paul’s teaching about revelation and the work of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing that God revealed His truth through the Spirit and that the apostles spoke that truth in words taught by the Spirit rather than by human wisdom. Wallace challenges an interpretation of the “natural man” that suggests a person cannot understand Scripture without personally receiving the Holy Spirit. Instead, he points listeners back to Paul’s context and the distinction between God’s revealed wisdom and human wisdom.
