- 0:07Now broadcasting from the Next Gen. conservative studio in
- 0:12sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics,
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is the Whitfield Report
- 0:21with Sam Whitfield. Good evening, ladies and
- 0:56gentlemen, and welcome to the Wednesday edition of the
- 1:00Whitfield Report. I am host Sam Whitfield,
- 1:04broadcasting live here from South Florida.
- 1:09Happy November, everyone. Hope everyone had a good show.
- 1:16We were going to do a show on Monday, but.
- 1:21As it turns out, well, we actually did record one, or
- 1:26tried to. Max joined me on the Monday show
- 1:33and we recorded it. It actually went about like 5
- 1:35hours long. Longest podcast we've done, but
- 1:41then for what reason? Because we were using Riverside,
- 1:47it didn't export properly or whatever.
- 1:50So that's why there was no Monday show, you know?
- 1:54And then yesterday was Halloween, so you know, I
- 2:00didn't, right. Sorry, there was no show on
- 2:03Monday, but here we are. Max is currently, you know,
- 2:10indisposed. He's probably doing something,
- 2:12but he'll join us in a bit. I've got plenty to talk on my
- 2:17own. First and foremost, couple quick
- 2:24announcements before we dive into the show tonight and we
- 2:30have a lot to cover. But I do want to thank the
- 2:36audience of this program and also the people who have
- 2:43purchased my book Shadows of Deception.
- 2:49A thrill. I know I promote this every
- 2:55episode since it came out, but you know I there is a milestone
- 3:03that I've hit with this book as of this past weekend.
- 3:10Weekend I did some calculations and Long story short.
- 3:17We have sold 50 copies of Shadows of Deception on Amazon,
- 3:29about 40 paperback copies of which I'm holding right here for
- 3:36those of you watching, and then ten of those are on the Kindle
- 3:42edition now. That's not 50 in one month we're
- 3:46not that good, but 50 copies since the July 4th release date.
- 3:57And considering that there are, you know, authors with bigger
- 4:03name publishers that don't even hit 12 copies in some cases.
- 4:16You know for a year I I consider this a success that we've sold
- 4:22over 50 copies total. So again thanks to everyone who
- 4:30has purchased the book on Amazon.
- 4:33It really is a you know a milestone.
- 4:37I am working on book two, hopefully to be released later
- 4:41than later this month still. But yeah, just, you know, super
- 4:52proud that I was able to release this.
- 4:55And you know, again, just super grateful for this audience and
- 4:58for everyone who has gone out to, you know, buy the book and
- 5:03support me as an independent author and also to support the
- 5:09show because. We don't, you know, we don't
- 5:12really E back here. I do have some, you know, links
- 5:17for those who would like to donate.
- 5:19But really, you know, I've been pushing this.
- 5:22You know, you buy products, you're going to get a product
- 5:28and you know, I'm very proud of this and can't wait to share the
- 5:34second book with you. So you know.
- 5:39That's a quick little announcement Again, if you
- 5:42haven't gone over to pick up a copy yet, link is in the
- 5:47description for my Amazon author's page.
- 5:51You can go and pick this up in either Paperback or Kindle.
- 5:59Please leave a 5 star rating and review.
- 6:01If you do decide to, you know, purchase the book or just leave
- 6:06review, you know in general. If you feel it warrants 5 stars
- 6:13and we really appreciate you. All right.
- 6:18So I'm going to kind of repeat some stuff that I mentioned on
- 6:27the Monday show. It'll be a repeat for me but
- 6:31since Monday show was. Since Monday's show was actually
- 6:39published, this will be, you know, kind of a new monologue
- 6:43for some of you. But ladies and gentlemen, I I
- 6:47wanted to address something that has been brought to my attention
- 6:54and I've received some criticism for, you know, ridiculous
- 7:02criticism at that, but. You know, since the whole
- 7:09really, in regards to the whole, you know, war with Ukraine and
- 7:18also in regards to this new war with Israel over the past few
- 7:23months, I've made it no secret and same for Max, that we are
- 7:29pretty much kind of anti war on this program now.
- 7:38And. You know I I've been pretty anti
- 7:46war for this past year or so you know for the past few years.
- 7:56But ladies and gentlemen, some of my, you know, some of the neo
- 8:00cons have followed me on Twitter.
- 8:07And just some of my detractors in general have pointed out that
- 8:13I used to be more pro military and more in, in their words like
- 8:20pro intervention, pro war, Hawk. And you know, I'm not going to
- 8:30lie, they are kind of right like I.
- 8:36So one thing that I don't think a lot of people take into
- 8:41consideration is I've been podcasting since I was roughly
- 8:521314 years old, and when I started podcasting, I was.
- 9:02A young conservative. And I, I kind of, you know, I
- 9:05came up in the bushing in the Bush era of politics and I grew
- 9:16up in the 9/11 11 era. In fact, when I was seven years
- 9:24old in first grade, that was the, you know, I was in first
- 9:29grade in 2001. And you know, although I was
- 9:34pretty young at the time, I do remember seeing the Twin Towers
- 9:41fall. And that was really the event,
- 9:44ladies and gentlemen, that you know, sparked my interest in
- 9:51geopolitics and just kind of politics in general was seeing.
- 10:02You know, the twin towers fall on 9/11.
- 10:06And at the time, and you know, in the following years, I like
- 10:14many Americans, and like many Americans even of my age on both
- 10:19sides, the immediate response of 9/11 was.
- 10:29You know, we needed to find out who perpetrated the attacks on
- 10:35the World Trade Center and who killed 3000 America Americans.
- 10:40And we were going to rain down Hellfire on them because it was
- 10:50the just thing to do, right? So I was.
- 10:58Very pro war in the sense that, you know, it seemed like
- 11:06appropriate revenge for 911. And it also seemed justified
- 11:15going into Iraq and Afghanistan because we were told that, you
- 11:21know, Oh my God, there are weapons of mass destruction.
- 11:25And also, Saddam Hussein is killing his own people.
- 11:30And you know, it's a it's a Holocaust over there.
- 11:33And so we needed to, you know, rid the world of an evil madman
- 11:41like Saddam Hussein and liberate Iraq and liberate Afghanistan
- 11:48and bring democracy to the Middle East.
- 11:55And so there were lots of Americans on both sides who felt
- 12:02that the war was just for several years and really that
- 12:10the people who were opposing the war, that the liberals back
- 12:14then. I won't say all of them, but a
- 12:18lot of them like Sean Penn, most notably.
- 12:23They were anti war, but they weren't like they weren't
- 12:26actually anti war because they were anti war.
- 12:31They were anti war because they hated George W Bush.
- 12:35And so there was like a big trend among the liberals to, you
- 12:41know, pretend to be anti war and bash George W Bush in the
- 12:47process. How do I know this?
- 12:50Because. Because when Barack Obama got
- 12:53into the Oval Office and basically started droning
- 13:03terrorists left and right, all of the critics of Bush, they
- 13:12called him a warmonger and a baby color on the left.
- 13:18Suddenly shut up. When Obama did it, all the
- 13:23people were criticizing Bush for Abu Ghraib on the left, maybe
- 13:30rightly so. We're dead silent when when
- 13:36Obama was committing the same, you know, war crimes.
- 13:41So you know, I still don't cut the left any slack because I,
- 13:44like a lot of liberals, have been like.
- 13:47Ha ha. The Neo Con is you know, finally
- 13:50turning anti war and fuck you guys, you were only an anti war
- 13:54when it was convenient for your, you know, for your side
- 14:00basically. And also like I said when I had,
- 14:03when I had a lot of the, you know, more Neo Con policies,
- 14:07like I was a teenager and it was pretty normal for conservatives
- 14:11to be, you know, more Neo Con because we generally thought.
- 14:17Ladies and gentlemen that we were actually helping out and
- 14:20doing a a good thing and so let me bring Max in here because he
- 14:29has joined us. But good evening, Sir.
- 14:39I just want to give a big shout out to Barack Foo.
- 14:45Yeah. I OK So what happened was I went
- 14:50on like a brawler beat em up kick right and I was nostalgic
- 14:54for old brawler games. I got the new Ninja Turtles
- 14:57game, the Shredder's Revenge DLC.
- 15:00My boy loves that shit. He already like he told me to
- 15:02leave. He like didn't want to even play
- 15:05with me. He wanted he's like he's like
- 15:08done. He's like, I got whatever it is.
- 15:11The fucking. Bunny Samurai and the Ninja
- 15:18girl, which is what he wanted. It was only $8.
- 15:24Interesting enough. I already thought that was the
- 15:26game of the year last year, right?
- 15:28I've said that a million times. It added a thing.
- 15:32It's like they know me personally.
- 15:34It added a. Rogue like mode that's basically
- 15:38endless with all the characters and you can get all kinds of
- 15:40upgrades. I got a little bit addicted to
- 15:43it, but I can't play it because it's on the Xbox Live account,
- 15:46so we could only play it at once.
- 15:48I can sit there and play it with him upstairs, but I tried to
- 15:51come down because he told me to get out because he got his new
- 15:54fucking he. He wanted those extra characters
- 15:57and he didn't know how to get them and see in our day, in our
- 16:00day, there would have been like a secret.
- 16:02Right. Yeah, yeah, cheat codes.
- 16:04And that's what he kind of assumes.
- 16:06Because he's not thinking about money.
- 16:09You know he's 7. Like we talk about, I try to
- 16:12talk about money sometimes. He knows what money is.
- 16:15He knows he never has enough of it.
- 16:18Fair for a kid, right? Yeah, wait.
- 16:22Wait to Max's son. Wait until you.
- 16:26I know you're too young to listen, but wait until you're an
- 16:28adult. Then you'll really feel like you
- 16:30don't have enough money. Yeah, exactly.
- 16:33Exactly. He thinks it's way worse,
- 16:35though. Like they react way worse when
- 16:37they're kids, 'cause you're just used to it.
- 16:38You're just ground down by a fucking life that you know,
- 16:43especially you're ground down by the Biden administration.
- 16:46So, so anyway, I'm and then and then we got my wife got the
- 16:51Harry Potter game on the Steam deck.
- 16:54So I had her playing that, 'cause that's pretty cool.
- 16:57She, she like, grew up on that shit she was marking out.
- 17:01She's popping for, like she got a Hufflepuff and that made her
- 17:05very happy. You and and I gave her this like
- 17:09pep talk speech first, before she even played the game, 'cause
- 17:12I was like, you should just go whatever the fucking hat tells
- 17:15you, 'cause I don't know much about Harry Potter, but I know
- 17:18the hat picks whatever crew you're in, basically like the
- 17:21jocks and the nerds and that kind of thing.
- 17:24Yeah. Every every Harry Potter fan
- 17:26I've ever talked, I even said this to her.
- 17:28Every Harry Potter fan I've ever talked to says they're
- 17:30Hufflepuff. Every.
- 17:32Single one. I I just went with Gryffindor
- 17:35because I was like, that's the one that the normies you.
- 17:38Know well I. I I feel like I guess a guy
- 17:41probably would or Slytherin, but girl, every single girl is
- 17:45Hufflepuff and most guys. You know what's?
- 17:49I don't like. I've never read the books or
- 17:51watched the movies because. I was into, like more hard.
- 17:55I was telling my wife that I was into more hardcore fantasy when
- 17:57they came out, so they seemed like shit.
- 18:00I was reading Conan original, Arthur C Doyle, Conan, and I'd
- 18:05already read The Lord of the Rings like five times.
- 18:07Like the whole. Not just The Hobbit, The Hobbit.
- 18:10There and back again. Long before the 1st fucking
- 18:13films. That was my shit.
- 18:16And then I got up to the D&D shit where it gets kind of
- 18:18hardcore and and then it was Conan Conan's as hardcore as it
- 18:23gets. Oh yeah, So.
- 18:27And some really good stuff. Harry Potter, I get that.
- 18:31It's good, right? But it's meant for younger
- 18:34demographic than I was at, and so it was.
- 18:37It's the same with Pokémon too. A lot of gamers my age.
- 18:42Love Pokémon way the fuck more than I do.
- 18:45That was my brother's thing. Or Power Rangers.
- 18:48But you know what's cool is maybe Power Rangers wasn't my
- 18:51thing, but it was both my younger brother's thing and it
- 18:53was my wife's thing. And it's the boys thing.
- 18:57And it's kind of organic, 'cause they, his cousin had a Power
- 19:00Rangers The Movie DVD, and he would watch that, and then he
- 19:06watched the original. He wanted to watch the
- 19:08Originals. He chose it.
- 19:11He watched some other stuff, too, but he wasn't ever as
- 19:13interested as like that first like three or Four Seasons with
- 19:17the Green Ranger, the guy that's just died recently,
- 19:21unfortunately. Yeah.
- 19:25Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:27But it's cool because my my boy, I mean, we're not going to tell
- 19:30him that he's seven. You a celebrity?
- 19:33You like that? You're watching old fucking
- 19:34videos died. Why would you ever even bother
- 19:37broach the subject? He likes the Power Rangers
- 19:40because they fight. No.
- 19:42Well, and and if he and if he and if he's a nerd like.
- 19:46The truth and all that. And and and if he's a nerd like
- 19:51like we are like I don't know how you are but like I'm the
- 19:54type where like when I was like a teenager or no not even to
- 19:59teenage but more like 11-12 and I I like started to get onto the
- 20:02Internet like that was when I started to like you know.
- 20:06Googling about films and actually like reading it like.
- 20:09Yeah, see, right now, all his stuff is kind of controlled,
- 20:12right? Right.
- 20:14Including his screen time is like automatically limited.
- 20:17I have like parental controls on everything because I'm not a
- 20:21boomer and I understand the Internet and I understand myself
- 20:25as young and and I see a lot of it in him, sometimes with his
- 20:29troublemaking ability because it's troublemaking like it.
- 20:34The the penchant for a harmless prank that maybe should be a
- 20:40harmless prank but gets you in trouble anyway.
- 20:44But like, yeah, I see that in him, but he's nicer about.
- 20:48And see, I'm. I'm a bitter old asshole 'cause
- 20:51I came from like a shit hole abusive family, right?
- 20:55Well, like I but like I vowed, I'm not going to make my kid
- 20:59live from a shit hole abusive family, which is, which is
- 21:04actually pretty big of you. Because it it would be really.
- 21:07Easy to break the cycle, right? Right.
- 21:10But. My boy's never done anything to
- 21:13raise my ire to such a degree. He's a good boy.
- 21:17My wife is sitting right next to me.
- 21:19Is he a good boy? Is he getting trimmed?
- 21:23Yeah. I I I heard that.
- 21:23Yeah, he's in a little bit of mischief, but he's.
- 21:25A good boy. Yeah, he's he's well.
- 21:30He's polite. He has manners.
- 21:32Listen, if if if a boy doesn't get into a bit of mischief,
- 21:37mischief every once in a while, that that's also a little kind
- 21:42of. Yeah, but he's like me and
- 21:44that's what worries me because I'm, I'm a but.
- 21:48But Harry, he he at least has avoided years of like violent
- 21:53trauma, right? I can say that.
- 21:56Much. Whatever happens from there and
- 21:59and look, he it's not like he doesn't listen.
- 22:01I'm stern, dude. All it takes is see the reason I
- 22:05say he's never raised my that degree.
- 22:07Dad voiced him. He cries like I hit him.
- 22:12Yeah, no, that's how. That's how my mom That's how my
- 22:15mom was. Worst fucking thing in the world
- 22:17to him. His.
- 22:17Mom doesn't have that. Effect.
- 22:19So a like a little bit. But there's nothing like if I
- 22:23dad voice him. Yeah, yeah.
- 22:26No. But that's also true of grown
- 22:28women. I I was.
- 22:31I was only I was only spanked once or twice and I I it.
- 22:35Was in spankings with me. It was like flat out, just like
- 22:38abuse well. Like.
- 22:40Horrific abuse. So that's why I vowed not to do.
- 22:44Because I know how it feels. And then the whole world seems
- 22:47against you, right? Especially in my case.
- 22:50Like I've I've said this all before.
- 22:52It's not, it's not anything new. My mom worked in the.
- 22:55Emergency services industry, out of a pretty hot, notable
- 23:00position, I would add. And all of the people that
- 23:03worked with her were like fucked up and abused their kids.
- 23:06They, like, had a weird fucking cult of it.
- 23:11And they were friends with all the cops and the firefighters
- 23:14and the people at the hospital and such and such, right?
- 23:18And so if you go cry for help, they're.
- 23:21All. In on it.
- 23:23So I kind of had to fuck the world mentality from early on,
- 23:28and they were all. Liberals.
- 23:29Too. So that kind of me.
- 23:31That's why I the first political thing I ever engaged with.
- 23:35I think I told you this was What's his face running in 1992?
- 23:40Bob Dole. No, that's 96.
- 23:43No, no, Ross. Perot.
- 23:44Ross Perot Yeah, I can't believe I blanked on that, 'cause he,
- 23:47like, influenced me more than anybody he had bought.
- 23:51With his own money for these independent he is.
- 23:53He wasn't Democrat nor Republican.
- 23:55He was just a businessman and he felt he had a message, right?
- 23:59And it was relatable. And that's why at one point he
- 24:02was leading and his message was basically all the shit everybody
- 24:06says now. And for on the right, the Trump.
- 24:10You. Know what I mean, 'cause he
- 24:12ended up starting the Reform Party and Trump was in the
- 24:14Reform Party, so obviously there's overlap there, right?
- 24:18And I saw him when I I was young in 1992 because he bought 8 PMA
- 24:24half hour time slot on like every channel, because he was a
- 24:29presidential candidate and he, he was a billionaire and move
- 24:36into my, you know, unformed young brain.
- 24:39He made perfect sense. He's a businessman and he was
- 24:41talking about we can't keep spending this money and why
- 24:44should we? Go after interests that aren't
- 24:47our own and such and such and the and then we need to at least
- 24:50reform if we don't reform the immigration.
- 24:52He was also against the amnesty thing that Reagan did.
- 24:55Because. We've talked before about
- 24:57Reagan. I can't give Reagan like an
- 24:58unblemished record. He did amnesty.
- 25:01Yeah. No, I can't.
- 25:04I can't either. And.
- 25:05From other scandals that were mostly not his fault, like Iran.
- 25:08Contra wasn't mostly him. He was a doddering old man by
- 25:11that point. Yeah.
- 25:13No, that was that was that was good old Ollie N no.
- 25:18And he did for the right reasons.
- 25:20I'm not even why, but like the the big one was like I say
- 25:23economically, if you were in the middle or the upper class,
- 25:28because we were talking about that, we got a show deleted.
- 25:34Well. Incompetence based censorship.
- 25:40'Cause, they said. We could talk for.
- 25:41Hours on their platform. And that's what we did on
- 25:44Monday. And y'all missed it.
- 25:46Yeah, we no, I no, I was recapping to the I was recapping
- 25:49to the audience because I I had some people DM me, like why was
- 25:53there no Monday show? Oh, there was.
- 25:56You all missed like the best show we've ever done for like 5
- 26:01hours. And I'm not even exaggerating.
- 26:04I'm not. I'm not Like you know how you
- 26:06know how old Max will do A bit. Where he's like, sarcastic.
- 26:10Over the top. And he doesn't really mean what
- 26:12he's saying. And he's kind of an asshole
- 26:14about it. That's not this.
- 26:17We really did. The bangerist ass Whitfield
- 26:20report, at least since my tenure.
- 26:23Minus maybe the fucking few. The really good interviews that
- 26:26he's done we we we did we did we did the longest show in history
- 26:34that will no I was actually kind of recapping some of that.
- 26:39For and you pay. And you pay those people for
- 26:41that service too. No.
- 26:43No, I don't. I don't pay.
- 26:44I don't pay for Riverside. I pay.
- 26:46Thank. God, because they lost the
- 26:48greatest. That that is a bit of lost
- 26:50media. They they are.
- 26:52Off ladies and gentlemen on every single everybody their
- 26:56whatever it was and probably you too.
- 26:59Well I I am kind of, I am kind of recapping some of that
- 27:03because the Neo con because like I was saying like all the all of
- 27:09like the DeSantis dumers here I am now.
- 27:13About, you know, everything. But this time no, no.
- 27:18Yeah. That's the greatest.
- 27:20That's why I can say with full sincerity it was one of the best
- 27:24shows we've ever done and it was raw as fuck and y'all never
- 27:30going to see it. Well, I might Riverside 2.
- 27:34The credit is trying to like recover the files for me and so
- 27:38maybe. Maybe.
- 27:41I don't know if they're ready for it.
- 27:43Yeah, I don't. Maybe it should just stay gone.
- 27:48I'm not even kidding. Maybe.
- 27:52Maybe it'll maybe, maybe it'll get like released like, you
- 27:55know, like 10. You know how like rock bands
- 27:57release like stuff from From the Ball?
- 27:59That's the vault right there. That's the vault when we're both
- 28:02dead. We've made it to the biggest the
- 28:05Whitfield reports taking over new rush Internet based rush
- 28:09right. And I'm I'm I'm your your
- 28:12fucking idiot sidekick. And we did this for 30 years.
- 28:17We retired fade off into the sunset and that's all they have
- 28:21to remember. A spy.
- 28:23Well, now I was I I was recapping, basically, because.
- 28:28Of. Being.
- 28:29Assholes. Especially.
- 28:32Especially him man. Well the well, the well, yeah,
- 28:37the the the DeSantis, Dumors and the neocons.
- 28:40I was basically kind recapping what we covered on Monday with
- 28:45they found my old life shows when I was a teenager from when
- 28:49I was like I guess more pro, like interventionist in their
- 28:54mind. And so I was laying out how like
- 28:58there were lots of conservatives who are now anti war who thought
- 29:03that like going into Iraq and Afghanistan was a noble.
- 29:10It wasn't because we wanted to kill, to just kill like random
- 29:15Iraqis. And though that's what happened,
- 29:17it was because we actually thought that there was like a
- 29:20legit good thing going on there and then like you know like
- 29:27everything else that has kind of been revealed to us, we were we
- 29:31were lied to. And by the way, I don't like I
- 29:34was saying before you came on like all those anti war like
- 29:37leftists, a lot of them weren't actually anti war because they
- 29:42were more anti Bush masquerading under the flag of anti war but
- 29:47and. And they're like they they have
- 29:50to see themselves as the poor picked on minority and it's
- 29:53tough with Israel. Because like Jews are certainly
- 29:56a global minority and and you know for the people that are
- 30:01like there's people that are saying free Palestine, the
- 30:03people being treated awful there and there's certainly a case to
- 30:07be made for both fucking sides argument.
- 30:09I've said this a million fucking times at this point, right?
- 30:12But I just happen to fucking honestly take the side of like,
- 30:20why can't we try not killing each other?
- 30:24Both both of your holy books is based on the same thing and one
- 30:28of the few things that they concrete for sure believe all of
- 30:31them came directly from God is the 10 commandments and amongst
- 30:36those 10 commandments is thou shalt not kill.
- 30:39I'm just saying maybe is, is, but you can't have that third
- 30:43way because they're like, it's unrealistic and they're mad and
- 30:47they deserve better and it's just like, yeah, I.
- 30:49I. Agree and like a perfect example
- 30:52I was. I spurred out about
- 30:55Massachusetts history to to my wife today because I actually
- 30:59take it very seriously and it's interesting.
- 31:02And it's I I think in some ways like relevant in terms of like
- 31:05the human story. Like, like you, your left is
- 31:08shit on Thanksgiving and it's actually a beautiful story.
- 31:12And yes, it involves bloodshed. And that's fucking tragic
- 31:16because these two cultures came to this land and like, bro.
- 31:21The the I was I was telling her because the relationship is the
- 31:24place we went camping was like they're happy hunting grounds
- 31:28for a certain point of the year and I can fucking relate.
- 31:31It's like if I could just spend the summer down there by the
- 31:34water hanging out hunting and cooking food up and and have and
- 31:38but they they roamed right and so when the white people got
- 31:42there they didn't meet them right away.
- 31:44Now they don't the same language, they have completely
- 31:47different cultures and world views and.
- 31:50Levels of development, of course.
- 31:52There was fucking some static and some miscommunications right
- 31:56early on between the pilgrims and, yeah, the Massasoit tribe
- 32:01specifically. I know people from the Massasoit
- 32:04tribe. I like, I'm a nerd and there's a
- 32:06lot of history in this area, you know?
- 32:10Yeah. Well, the other thing too is we
- 32:12tend to, we tend to look at history through the perspective
- 32:17of like modern day, of the modern day lens, right like.
- 32:23Yeah, it wasn't very long ago. You know, the and these ghosts
- 32:27ripple through our, our, our entire history.
- 32:30It's one of. The things that was very
- 32:32important to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, the Pilgrims, the
- 32:36Mayflower, so many people say they descend from the Mayflower.
- 32:39I I actually think that that's probably a lower percentage than
- 32:43people want to admit. It's kind of like I have some
- 32:45Indian in me and then you get tested and you actually don't.
- 32:48I feel like the Mayflower is the kind of same thing, and a lot of
- 32:52people say that. However, however, that's how
- 32:56fundamental it is to our culture because it's a status symbol.
- 33:01The I've been here the longest and you're coming here that
- 33:05you're the newbie, you're the greenhorn, right?
- 33:08And that's how they've kind of treated all the waves of
- 33:10immigrants that have come in this country and face that kind
- 33:12of static and including my own, you know?
- 33:18But Massachusetts in particular were a religious type, right?
- 33:22And they didn't believe in the Church of England's version of
- 33:25things 'cause it was kind of soft by their opinion, not mine,
- 33:29right? But they were Puritan.
- 33:31It's in the name. They had a certain way of
- 33:34living. But they disagree with the
- 33:35Church of England, with its divorce and its sin as they saw
- 33:39it, and also the institution of slavery specifically, And so
- 33:45those people. That came here on the Mayflower,
- 33:49Yes, they did bring with them slaves and they got off the boat
- 33:55as basically like servants that work for them with rights from
- 34:01the very foundation of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
- 34:03I don't know if people knew that it was one of the first places
- 34:06in the world to abolish slavery from its inception, and it's
- 34:10written into the original Massachusetts constitution,
- 34:13which is. Hilarious, if you think about
- 34:15it, because then we had a civil war over the US Constitution,
- 34:21not really addressing the issue. Massachusetts had addressed it.
- 34:25Some of the Southern states had addressed it.
- 34:27The problem was is they addressed it completely
- 34:29differently and led to some bloodshed.
- 34:35But not here in in terms of that.
- 34:38Like, it's just they were a bunch of religious fanatics and
- 34:41that was one of their things. Because they believe and you and
- 34:45you. It's actually hard to disagree
- 34:47with this from any perspective if you think about it.
- 34:50But like the the the the slaves shouldn't be slaves because
- 34:55they're people and they can read the Bible and you can evangelize
- 34:59to them and they can hear the word of the Lord, right?
- 35:04So how can they not be saved by the Lord?
- 35:09How can you tell them that they can read and understand this
- 35:12message, but you're you're not allowed because your culture is
- 35:15different when specifically the Bible tells you to spread it
- 35:18everywhere. The gospel, you know what I'm
- 35:22saying? And they're very, very religious
- 35:24people, mind you. So what do they think when they
- 35:27meet the Indians? We're going to spread the
- 35:29gospel. It didn't necessarily go well
- 35:34and and you can look at like different historical accounts,
- 35:37but it basically comes down to a lack of being able to
- 35:39communicate. And also we have the gods of our
- 35:43land already, white guy. We understand that we have your
- 35:47magic boomsticks. That's what they actually called
- 35:51them too in English when they started to learn, but they only
- 35:55started to learn after they had some skirmishes.
- 35:57There was some killed on both sides.
- 36:00And then the winter. Because by the way, this is
- 36:02Massachusetts. Like the middle of fucking
- 36:03Massachusetts on Cape Cod, almost.
- 36:07Winter can be a very, very, very cruel bitch out here every once
- 36:15in a while. And they were a bunch of English
- 36:20people used to living in their own little farmstead.
- 36:23They already had houses. They were, they had to build up
- 36:26out of nowhere. Obviously they were prepared for
- 36:28it, but it's still. They were from England.
- 36:31See the weather in England as as any like British you know if you
- 36:36were, can maybe confirm or deny if you want to in the comments
- 36:41it's it's pretty static like they have a lot of rain.
- 36:46It it's it's kind of, you know, it gets a little bit hot and
- 36:49muggy in the summer, but not too bad.
- 36:52And it's like. It's like rough sometimes in the
- 36:55winter, but not all the. But not New England.
- 36:58See England, one thing, New England is rough 'cause we got
- 37:02like shit like the Nor'easters that come up the coast and they
- 37:04hit us just right with the cold front and you're just blizzarded
- 37:08out. It doesn't happen all the time.
- 37:10It's not like up northern Canadian shit where they live
- 37:14with it constantly, but the years where it fucking snows you
- 37:18in out here. I mean, we me and my wife at one
- 37:21year. We're snowed in to our
- 37:23apartment, 'cause it was a basement apartment, and nobody
- 37:26came to shovel us out from the outside.
- 37:28Nobody could do it, 'cause it was such a fucking crazy
- 37:31Blizzard. But we were just snowed in for
- 37:33like, I think a week and a half before I was able to shovel my
- 37:37way out the window, and then it was crazy.
- 37:43So these English people that have kind of like a like, almost
- 37:49like an Amish lifestyle when they're in it.
- 37:52England, right. They disagree with the king
- 37:55because they don't think that that was the other thing.
- 37:57They were kind of extremists because they felt like the king
- 38:00can't speak for God. And so they did come to this
- 38:04country to found a new country essentially from the get go.
- 38:08Absolutely. But who?
- 38:13Who was? It was like it was like 6 mud
- 38:15huts surrounded by sticks. You know what I'm saying?
- 38:19They weren't exactly fucking Fort Knox or even worth thinking
- 38:22about, so they thought they could just live the way they
- 38:24want. And they were kind of right for
- 38:26the most part, until good old King George comes asking for his
- 38:30fucking tax money. Because of course, the man's
- 38:33always got to hold you down, right?
- 38:35Fuck that. Yeah.
- 38:36The fucking tax man with his hand out.
- 38:39What are you doing for me, King George?
- 38:40Oh, making tea cost more. What else?
- 38:44Oh, I put British guards in your city to fucking rape your
- 38:48fucking wife. Yeah, you have to quarter them.
- 38:53See, mother fuckers want to talk about First Second Amendment.
- 38:56How many people really understand the 3rd Amendment?
- 39:01The part about quartering troops.
- 39:03Why is that a thing? We don't think about it at all
- 39:06nowadays, right? But why is that a thing?
- 39:08Because when they got forced by the King to quarter troops, the
- 39:13abuse taking place was insane where they were just.
- 39:18Rape your wife. And there's nothing you can do
- 39:22about it. They'll just shoot you if you
- 39:25have a problem with it. They have basically the
- 39:27authority of the Crown to do whatever they want to you.
- 39:30And just like cops will do some shit with a power trip, will
- 39:35they have no oversight? Yeah.
- 39:39You're a traitor to the Crown in a time of fucking uncertainty
- 39:42and disloyalty, a time where people are saying crazy things
- 39:48like. The King isn't divine, and maybe
- 39:51governance shouldn't be written by a religion specifically, but
- 39:56rather let a man practice it how he sees fit.
- 40:03The birth of a Nation came from that extremism.
- 40:07And you, may you and I may not agree with like the the Pilgrims
- 40:12and the Puritans in their kind of extremism, right the way they
- 40:15lived. Even for that time was very
- 40:19extreme, but it served them well coming here because they were
- 40:24supplies were almost wiped out and that's when something
- 40:28amazing happened. A miracle, you might say, those
- 40:34savages that they've been kind of skirmishing without in the
- 40:37woods, they kind of fired. I mean, they had like like 2
- 40:41muskets to the to the whole bunch of them.
- 40:43As far as I am. They weren't exactly heavily
- 40:46armed. They were civilians.
- 40:48These were not soldiers. They came to settle and just be
- 40:52alone with Jesus essentially, right.
- 40:55And they actually do. You know what the original name
- 40:58for the Massachusetts Bay Colony was before the miracle I'm about
- 41:02to talk about was? Well, Plymouth Rock I know is
- 41:07the name now, but for the for the whole colony, the first name
- 41:11for the what is now known as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- 41:16What do you what do you think the first name was?
- 41:23Pure Puritania or something like that.
- 41:28New Israel. Whoa.
- 41:33I never. I never knew that because it was
- 41:36the promised land of milk and honey.
- 41:39And boy, were they wrong in a lot of ways.
- 41:44But I can't. This is the thing.
- 41:47See, people are like, Max, you really don't agree with a lot of
- 41:50the politics of Massachusetts. Why?
- 41:53Like, why don't you leave? And I I've certainly considered
- 41:56it and I kind of hate this place.
- 41:58The law was against me. There was a little court case.
- 42:01It was like the the Commonwealth of Massachusetts versus Max San.
- 42:05But there's a lot of history here, too.
- 42:07And it's not this Land's fault this landed.
- 42:09There's something special here, you might say.
- 42:12Magic, you know, or blessing, dude.
- 42:15That campground, that campground that I went to was part of the
- 42:19happy hunting ground. That's their.
- 42:21I don't remember their word for it, but the happy hunter ground
- 42:24of the Massasoit and sometimes the Wampanoag tribe, these guys
- 42:27used to come to our school because they lived in our town
- 42:30like the elders used to come and like do their dance and and show
- 42:34us and talk about their culture and shit.
- 42:37There was like AI guess what you would call a reservation.
- 42:40But they just lived in a certain part of town.
- 42:41Like they weren't like, I don't know, we just had them guys.
- 42:46Because where I grew up was right in the middle of like King
- 42:50Phillips War and and we took their side.
- 42:53Actually, that's a interesting story in and of itself.
- 42:56Another time, the strife and bloodshed and and who is right
- 43:00and who is wrong between the white man and King Philip.
- 43:04King Philip, who did speak English.
- 43:06He grew up speaking English. This had been a while, right?
- 43:10But there was a miracle 1st. And that miracle was the first
- 43:12Thanksgiving. The true actual story of it was
- 43:18pretty simple. They had fought and skirmished.
- 43:21The town was depleted on supplies.
- 43:23They were getting sick. It gets real fucking cold here,
- 43:26gentlemen, Real cold. And you aren't prepared and you
- 43:31ain't got enough supplies and you ain't held out for the
- 43:34winter. But actually the first, they
- 43:35landed in a place called Dayton Rock, which is actually right
- 43:38across from where I grew up, to make beer so they can make the
- 43:43journey to the place they were looking for.
- 43:45New Israel. You know, you know, I love that
- 43:51I actually titled this show the 1st of November and we're all
- 43:56ready. Like, it's November 1st.
- 43:59We're all ready digging into Thanksgiving history, But
- 44:04that's. What happened?
- 44:05So they've been skirmishing with these fucking savages and they
- 44:08can't speak to each other and you're the fucking crazy white
- 44:13men in these weird fucking clothes on horses that go on the
- 44:17sea made of wood with dragon fucking wings and fire sticks
- 44:28and and big boom sticks. And we don't know what the fuck
- 44:32this is because we're just like, they just hung out here and they
- 44:35migrated because they knew the weather here was bad.
- 44:38And so they took pity on the white man and they came bearing
- 44:43gifts. And those gifts were turkeys
- 44:46that they, which is. And then white men had never
- 44:48seen them before because they're native to this era.
- 44:51When I go out running, I talk about going out running.
- 44:54I run into the same motherfucking turkeys.
- 44:56Them shits is territorial. I try to get far away from them.
- 45:00They run in packs of like 22. I'm like I I have some crazy
- 45:05pictures of turkeys, way too fucking close, squaring up to me
- 45:09and shit and their claws. If they kick you and they will
- 45:13kick you, they will kick you. They don't bite.
- 45:17They they'll head butt you and they'll kick you.
- 45:19And when they'll kick you, they're razor sharp fucking
- 45:22claws. You might laugh, 'cause there's
- 45:24a Turkey and ha ha ha Turkey. Thanks.
- 45:26No, I I I heard turkeys are vicious.
- 45:31I I've heard the turkeys are vicious.
- 45:37I come way too close all the time.
- 45:40Not today as I I was out running today.
- 45:43I didn't see any turkeys, but recently I send my wife
- 45:46pictures. All the right.
- 45:49I send you pictures of the gang. I call it the Gang of Turkeys.
- 45:52Me and the gang of turkeys have been in a Turkey war for like a
- 45:55year and a half, but they came bearing gifts.
- 46:08Also. Your turkeys.
- 46:10And they had a feast and they started to talk.
- 46:13Imagine that. That, you know, rightfully the
- 46:17Indians felt aggrieved, because what probably happened is they
- 46:22came upon each other both hunting and got scared, but
- 46:27they've never seen anything like each other.
- 46:31And that's fucking scary. And you can't talk it out.
- 46:33You can't make amends. So you're out on edge and every
- 46:37time you run into each other, it's hostile.
- 46:40And the Indians broke that. They came with some fucking
- 46:43turkeys and they started talking and learning little words in
- 46:47each other's language. And they wrote.
- 46:50And it wasn't just Thanksgiving Day.
- 46:52They rode out the New England winter together, the tribe and
- 46:56the settlers. That's what Thanksgiving
- 46:58celebrates. I actually, I'm dead serious.
- 47:06I I've I've never and I went to a good school.
- 47:09But like I, I. Never heard any, not any of
- 47:15this. But like I wanted this stuff.
- 47:16I I never heard of or. But you know, it wasn't peace
- 47:20forever, 'cause then there was King Philip's War, which it's a
- 47:24really interesting conflict from that area that I'm from.
- 47:27Right, 'cause, like I said, King Philip grew up after that.
- 47:32They'd learned each other's language.
- 47:33He read the Bible. He he understood the white man's
- 47:36religion he was a part of like some Indians and and they've
- 47:42told they're the ones that tell me to call them Indians.
- 47:45By the way like if you have a problem with me using the term
- 47:48Indians and you need to go talk to the Massasoit tribe, OK.
- 47:53Because. Because the old men in the
- 47:55Massasoit tribe said they they wear that as a white man badge
- 47:58of honor because it means people of God.
- 48:01So they don't. So they don't like this ones.
- 48:03I know. Look, maybe some guy online
- 48:05might be offended, but I'm doing what those people tell me, and I
- 48:09respect the chief member very much.
- 48:11Look, I'm from that kind of small town and that was a thing.
- 48:14The the the king Philip's War was basically like the settlers
- 48:21had been there a long time. Now there's more colonies and
- 48:24there's this one town called Attleboro that's named after a
- 48:29town in England. And King Philip Tecumseh, right,
- 48:36was his Indian name. Yeah, he had a, a hunting party
- 48:42out. And they encountered the people
- 48:46from this, the guard of that city, essentially, who were out
- 48:49hunting as well, just like they had, you know, 40 years or so
- 48:54ago. And people got killed.
- 48:56Two of Tecumseh's Braves were killed.
- 49:01And so he approached the Attleboro Colony with his war
- 49:07band and their war paint on and their war chants.
- 49:11And they came to the front door of the city and they said to the
- 49:15guard in perfect English, because again, he was a part of
- 49:19society. He he didn't even live with the
- 49:22Indians that kept to themselves. He had actually been raising on
- 49:25to Christian School, right, because his dad had converted.
- 49:30So he understood the white man. He was a part of the white man's
- 49:34world. But what he didn't like is you
- 49:36killed his bee. But he's also part of this other
- 49:38world, right? And that world has been tied to
- 49:41this land a very long time. And he, he approached and he
- 49:47said, you have shed the blood. This is what the old man would
- 49:51kind of tell me and maybe don't do it justice, but like, I bet
- 49:55you they wouldn't have a problem with their history being heard,
- 49:57right is like he said you spilled our blood.
- 50:02Two of ours. There is a law of this land and
- 50:06that's the law we believe in. That's our God is this land and
- 50:10it demands in return for our blood blood.
- 50:16Right. You need to avenge the death of
- 50:20my two young Braves. So essentially he was calling
- 50:23for a sacrifice which is very different culture right.
- 50:27And and maybe sounds barbaric, but like, I mean any parent that
- 50:32lost such a, there was questions as to whether one of them might
- 50:37have been his actual child because they kind of didn't keep
- 50:39records that way. Right.
- 50:43Not no the war, no the whole the whole world back then, like like
- 50:48this what I try and tell people too, because like we look at
- 50:55history through the lenses of our like modern day.
- 51:02Interpretation. And so, like, when a lot of
- 51:06people will criticize the Pilgrims for, you know, killing
- 51:11like Native Americans, It's through the lens of.
- 51:17It's almost like it's almost like first contact with aliens
- 51:20to a degree for both of. Them.
- 51:23Right. No.
- 51:23Well, yeah. Yeah.
- 51:24Well, that's what I'm saying. But also what I'm saying is like
- 51:28human beings in general back then, we're just more savage.
- 51:32As a whole, we look at things through a through a civilized
- 51:39you have the least chance of dying by violence of any of your
- 51:44ancestors in human history. Did you know that?
- 51:47Yeah, yeah, I yeah, I I actually did know that.
- 51:51But that's what I'm saying. Like people like to talk how,
- 51:54you know, the Pilgrims were, you know, killing.
- 51:58You know, Indians and how the white man enslaved Africans and
- 52:03you know, there's poor Africans in Africa.
- 52:06Africans were enslaving each other in Africa and you know,
- 52:13and selling them to the white man.
- 52:17That's what a lot of That's what a lot of Massachusetts Bay
- 52:22outlawed slavery early on, right?
- 52:25But we still had our problems because of shit like Tecumseh,
- 52:28because he said he he argued to them, under your rules, cause
- 52:32the Massachusetts Constitution predated the US Constitution and
- 52:36it is sort of a basis. So is the Masonic Constitution.
- 52:41Yeah, that all. All three of them share the same
- 52:44DNA 'cause they were written by the same guy, you know.
- 52:50But the Massachusetts one just happened to include the Puritans
- 52:54that just they basic part of why they came was to free their
- 52:58slaves. Because through their religious
- 53:02kind of rejection of their parents generation, as happens
- 53:07quite often, they've decided that these people that they
- 53:12actually grew up with as almost a family member cannot possibly
- 53:16be my possession, right? Not according to what God says,
- 53:21right? Right, 'cause like God has rules
- 53:25for owning slaves? Yes, in the Bible.
- 53:28But Jesus said like the first thing you should do is free him.
- 53:33That's the kindest thing you could do.
- 53:36Yeah, yeah. That's also something that
- 53:41should be known to like the old Hey, if you're if you're a
- 53:44slave, be a good slave, be the best slave you can be, and don't
- 53:48sin. So there are some conflicting
- 53:51messages about slavery in the Bible.
- 53:54Yeah, well that. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 53:57Like the the idea of just don't do slavery is like a fairly in
- 54:03the in the long scheme of things is a is a in the grand scheme of
- 54:08things. Like that's a new concept for
- 54:10humanity is just don't do it. They they grew up in this like
- 54:19little bubble of a time where because they they were like,
- 54:26well to do, kind of because they had built up their own community
- 54:30there, but they were persecuted because of their religion to
- 54:33some degree by the government. They were like they grew up
- 54:38thinking that slaves should have a right by God because that's
- 54:42the logic that was being taught in their church.
- 54:46I mean most anti anti abolitionism.
- 54:49I mean most most anti slavery sentiment in this country came
- 54:53from like the most religious fanatics on the right that
- 54:57existed. Like Christians made this point
- 55:00right from the very get go. Yeah, if it weren't for
- 55:04Christians and and and like Massachusetts has that
- 55:10interesting thing is because there's only two waves of the
- 55:14black people, you know, that live here for the most part's
- 55:17ancestry came from at large, like over, you know, large data
- 55:22size. And it's some from the South
- 55:25during an the the lead up to the civil war on the so-called
- 55:29Underground Railroad. And they just decided to stay
- 55:35here instead of go to Canada, 'cause they realized that we
- 55:38already didn't have slavery and we wouldn't like, send them
- 55:41back. I mean, we as in the
- 55:43Massachusetts Bay Colony, they were just like, Nah, Nah, we
- 55:48don't believe in that. God says there are people.
- 55:51And that's why there was an argument to the, to the, you
- 55:55know, constitutional convention, two sides about what to do about
- 55:59population count in regards to slavery.
- 56:02Massachusetts said if you want them to count as people, you
- 56:05need to free them and the South said.
- 56:09Fuck you, but we have a lot of them, so we should have more
- 56:12representation in Congress and the North, said.
- 56:17Fuck you, because they're not people.
- 56:23You know what I mean? Why are you going to count them
- 56:26as people if they're not right? And that's where the famous 3/5
- 56:29compromise, which in hindsight probably not the best idea in
- 56:33the world came from. And they counted them for the
- 56:37census purpose, but they still slaves and don't have rights.
- 56:41But for the census, they're 3/5 of a people.
- 56:44Well also, I'm sure I'm sure nobody will ever fucking
- 56:48disagree with that and maybe kill millions of each other.
- 56:53Well, I I have some historical perspective on that too so and I
- 57:00actually. And I actually heard about this
- 57:03years ago from Glenn Beck because he used to talk about
- 57:07this, but after the the American Revolution, a lot of the
- 57:14founding fathers were actually against slavery.
- 57:19But considering that it was such a hot button issue, Ben
- 57:24Franklin, James Madison? Yeah, Sam Adams to some degree.
- 57:29Yeah, well, can Ben Adams owned slaves, but he freed them after
- 57:34and went abolitionist. Well, right, but Patrick Henry.
- 57:39Yeah, basically though I can. I can, yeah.
- 57:44There was a lot of abolitionist. Ben Franklin was the most vocal,
- 57:48though. Yeah, there were a lot.
- 57:51But see, the founders also were Ben Franklin, if you think about
- 57:55that, sold out because he's the one that brokered the 3/5
- 57:58compromise. Yeah, yeah, but but but do you
- 58:01know, Do you know why he? Do you know why he?
- 58:05Because there wouldn't be a union otherwise.
- 58:08Yes, that, yes. That's what I'm trying to say.
- 58:09The issue of slavery was so was so, you know, super hard
- 58:18compromise, right? The, yeah, the like, basically
- 58:22they knew. They knew a civil war would
- 58:24come. And in the immediate aftermath
- 58:27of the American Revolution, like we needed to rebuild, like we
- 58:31were still like brand, you know, we were brand new.
- 58:35And there was all kinds of little things, like the Whiskey
- 58:39Rebellion. Yeah, Rebellion up here.
- 58:43That's another one. And then King Philip's War.
- 58:47Which is like that's the one I was saying.
- 58:52He went to them and said blood. You know you you owe us blood
- 58:56for the blood you spilled. Yeah, King Phillip says to the
- 59:01white man and the colony of Attleboro said.
- 59:07Fuck you. No, you're not going to give up.
- 59:10Our people go away. I do think Indian.
- 59:13I do think Indian reservations are barbaric and horrific.
- 59:19That I can't really stand, I don't know.
- 59:23They don't live on any reservations up here.
- 59:25There's not enough land for that.
- 59:27I mean, they have little ones, but they're basically just where
- 59:29they sell like cigarettes. Maybe not, but they own the
- 59:34casinos. Well, yeah, they make mad money.
- 59:38A lot of them. Well up.
- 59:40Well up in Northern Michigan, like in Petoskey, where my, you
- 59:44know where my dad's family is, is from.
- 59:48They have a bunch of. They have like a bunch of
- 59:52casinos up there, too. The old men that come talk to me
- 59:55at school, I'm talking about the Massasoita elders are
- 59:59descendants of that same tribe. So like, we don't have a
- 1:00:02reservation. They still live here.
- 1:00:04The campground that I went to on one side is is like a
- 1:00:09campground. It's part of their like,
- 1:00:12territory. They roamed in the summertime,
- 1:00:14though, and they had there's an actual private side.
- 1:00:16It's like really nice and fancy and clean and and.
- 1:00:21They just live there in the summer, but they also own the
- 1:00:24casinos. And you know what is like the
- 1:00:26most beautiful spot to chill out in the summer?
- 1:00:28Especially in their fancy ass RV's and shit.
- 1:00:32Yeah. Are you eating toast on stream?
- 1:00:37Oh, no, I'm sorry. No, no, it's it's fine.
- 1:00:41Did you? I mean, for for God's sake,
- 1:00:45eating is allowed on eating a lot, Eating on podcasts.
- 1:00:50Is a thing that Apex like started here because he he,
- 1:00:53like, he purposely used to chew. Not only that, but, but Elon
- 1:00:58Musk and Joe Rogan ate anchovy pizza.
- 1:01:04There you go. Yesterday we could we could do
- 1:01:07like grifters and be like, Oh yeah, well, you got to pay for
- 1:01:12me to turn it off. Otherwise, I eat in front of
- 1:01:14you. That's what that's what Apex
- 1:01:17used to do, he used. Oh my.
- 1:01:20God, He used to, He used to just eat.
- 1:01:30He used to. He used to eat like he used to
- 1:01:33eat chips and whatnot on on like stream and people wouldn't
- 1:01:39complain because he would never like the first few years.
- 1:01:44He never came on camera. So you would just you would just
- 1:01:47hear him? Like, noisily, like eating
- 1:01:49chips. And so we would always get like
- 1:01:52spurgs that would just be like, but we'd just be like this
- 1:01:57fucking guy's chew. I can't stand I'm, I'm fucking
- 1:02:00out. This guy's chewing his chew
- 1:02:02like, no, we we get we ordered from like the local place, you
- 1:02:07know, 'cause they're good. And yeah, Buffalo chicken pizza.
- 1:02:14Like made like and it's the kind of Buffalo chicken where they
- 1:02:18like, it's it's they this place they take chicken tenders and
- 1:02:22they like, dip them in hot sauce and then they cut them up and
- 1:02:25put it on the pizza and then cook the pizza.
- 1:02:28It's pretty, it's like my favorite way of doing it from
- 1:02:32when I used to work at the pizza joint.
- 1:02:34You put that extra little care in there, you know?
- 1:02:37Yeah, I Trader Joe's makes. I don't know if you have Trader
- 1:02:44Joe's in Massachusetts, because not everyone, not every.
- 1:02:47I think so, but not nearby. But well, I yeah, so we have a
- 1:02:53Trader Joe's near us and one of one of my favorite things from
- 1:02:56there is like, is like a BBQ pork pizza that you just throw
- 1:03:01in the oven and man and say good, they, like, put like, they
- 1:03:09put little pieces of like, barbecued pork on.
- 1:03:12The pizza with like A and instead of Tina Edo sauce, it's
- 1:03:16a BBQ sauce with onions. And man is it good.
- 1:03:20So well, that's the trick with this.
- 1:03:24It was Buffalo chicken. From then I add garlic.
- 1:03:30Yeah, I'm sure my wife will love that combination later.
- 1:03:37In it? Well, hey, I don't.
- 1:03:39You know, I very rarely eat spicy food, just generally.
- 1:03:43So I was like, you know what that place makes The bomb?
- 1:03:48Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Well, heck, I've tortured you.
- 1:03:53I'll admit I I've tortured you and the rest of Twitter with
- 1:03:56like my Friday night pizza post for about two months now.
- 1:03:59So I just have to do an extra day running 'cause I ate a
- 1:04:03pizza, it's it's fine. You know well also like.
- 1:04:08So Shmuley prayers to Shmuley because he has the flu and and
- 1:04:14strep. He he says he's he's not worried
- 1:04:23out. He's not worried out about it
- 1:04:26though, because he has women to take care of.
- 1:04:28Oh my God. Little Shmuley and people.
- 1:04:33People think I'm bad. Which really, it's like, no, no,
- 1:04:37I have woman to take care of me. It's, it's fine.
- 1:04:40I feel that to some degree I like created a Frankenstein, you
- 1:04:45know, like I'm a little bit responsible for this.
- 1:04:51I mean, I feel like I kind of influenced him too, a little
- 1:04:55bit, yeah. But I've been doing it since he
- 1:04:59came of age, basically. I've known him since he was 18
- 1:05:03and like we're the last two remaining of like, the original
- 1:05:06friend group except Dalek. Yeah, which always shout out to
- 1:05:11Dalek. Dalek pops up in chat.
- 1:05:15Yeah, Dalek, Dalek. Dalek is like one of my, is one
- 1:05:22of my most like loyal retweeters on XII.
- 1:05:28Appreciate it. Speaking of.
- 1:05:34X almost crashed today because like the hackers are AT and Cap
- 1:05:43Dalek, by the way, if anybody wants to follow him, he's a he's
- 1:05:47a great dude. Actually, like, legitimately.
- 1:05:51I've been talking to Dalek for almost a decade and schmooly
- 1:05:54like, where? Yeah, the the last three in our
- 1:05:57little friend group from the original friend group of many
- 1:06:00more people. Isn't that.
- 1:06:03Isn't that crazy? Yeah, I mean, see, a lot of the
- 1:06:10people that I would have been friends with 10 years ago went
- 1:06:14never Trump. And yeah, they and the three of
- 1:06:17us couldn't be more different, if you think about it.
- 1:06:23Yeah, that. Well, that.
- 1:06:24That is, I'm an old, like, rock'n'roll hippie, right?
- 1:06:29Basically. Yeah, and he's like a he's like
- 1:06:34a go getter up and Comer business type with a fucking
- 1:06:39drive and ambition. And Dalek is one of the hardest
- 1:06:46working people I know for sure. He listens to us when he's
- 1:06:50working. That's why he's a big fan.
- 1:06:51That's why he retweets everything, because he's
- 1:06:53actually like he he shit. He came out from my Halloween
- 1:06:57show. I don't know if you listen to
- 1:06:59any of it, but we had a fucking blast.
- 1:07:01I I've done that in so many years.
- 1:07:05I tried to, but I was I I I did catch a little bit of it because
- 1:07:09I I had to go to the airport with my uncle to pick up my
- 1:07:13parents. They just got back from Europe,
- 1:07:16actually, and Oh yeah. And actually I found out that my
- 1:07:22scaring Europe through all this like unrest and protest, How was
- 1:07:26that? Well.
- 1:07:29Let me put it this. Way.
- 1:07:32No, because they were. They were in Italy and the
- 1:07:35Italian Prime Minister is based, Yeah, I know.
- 1:07:39Didn't didn't really affect them my stepdad.
- 1:07:45Italy would be a cool place to go.
- 1:07:49This is one of the things I was going to mention.
- 1:07:50My stepdad I found actually listened to our show over there.
- 1:07:56In red. Killed.
- 1:07:58Yes, Even if he hates us. Even if he fucking absolutely
- 1:08:02despises everything we say based in Red Pill.
- 1:08:05No, no, he's giving us a chance. Shout out.
- 1:08:08He he was like you know I'm glad because he's he was kind of
- 1:08:14position I was in where he like where he didn't where he didn't
- 1:08:18like he wasn't like a staunch neo con.
- 1:08:20But I mean, as I've mentioned, like the the Biden.
- 1:08:26Like the Biden disastrous, Paul kind of made our entire what
- 1:08:30made him and I kind of rethink everything with, you know, the
- 1:08:34Middle East. You know, conflict comes to
- 1:08:40approach those those white men. Blood is always sacred to
- 1:08:46somebody, right? Yeah.
- 1:08:48And that the decision to say no, you might have saved a lot of
- 1:08:54lives because King Philip's war was crazy.
- 1:08:59He had very little mercy on the white man and them in reverse
- 1:09:03and they fought until basically once he got killed his people
- 1:09:07gave up and they kind of went back to where they were living
- 1:09:10and the the they get more like land or whatever.
- 1:09:19Yeah, but some some cities. Here's an interesting fact.
- 1:09:24Some cities, OK, at the time, 'cause this was far before
- 1:09:27America was a country, right? Some cities in the Massachusetts
- 1:09:31Bay Colony sided with with King Phillip.
- 1:09:37And in fact, the town, the town I grew up in did and so did
- 1:09:42like. It was like the Pont area.
- 1:09:45And so these two towns at one point were technically at war
- 1:09:50with each other. Can you imagine that?
- 1:09:53That's how crazy it was? Because when he when when King
- 1:09:58Philip came to them and talked, because he talked, he tried to
- 1:10:02talk with because he was from like, he wasn't trying to be an
- 1:10:05uncivilized savage or whatever. And I'm not just saying that
- 1:10:08because of the noble savage myth.
- 1:10:10He literally was raised like around white people and was like
- 1:10:13raised to be a Christian at a private school.
- 1:10:16Yeah, yeah, people. His people got mistreated
- 1:10:20because he also engaged in like the hunting and stuff with his
- 1:10:23family, right. So he had both sides of it.
- 1:10:27He was he was probably not like the first person to go to war
- 1:10:31unnecessarily. Let's say that it was a measured
- 1:10:36decision because blood in, blood out.
- 1:10:39And that's basically what all I use that that example because
- 1:10:43that's what all this war blows down to.
- 1:10:45And that decision to say no, well, you could have sacrificed
- 1:10:49the two people that killed them and it would have prevented
- 1:10:53hundreds or thousands of deaths at a time when there wasn't all
- 1:10:57that many people here on both sides, you know?
- 1:11:03Yeah, and now those peoples, a lot of them, they're like great,
- 1:11:09great grandkids, live together from people on both sides.
- 1:11:12But at one point, they were killing each.
- 1:11:14Other you know and then they come to the school and they
- 1:11:16teach about it and they settled it in the little old farm town
- 1:11:20that I grew up in at the what's called the Council Oak.
- 1:11:23It's just this big ass oak tree. But it's kind of a historical
- 1:11:26thing, 'cause they signed the, they took the peace pipe for
- 1:11:29the. And that's actually where a good
- 1:11:34chunk of Indian stereotypes come from, too, Is specifically these
- 1:11:38tribes has practices that are similar to a lot of tropes, and
- 1:11:43that's why they're tropes 'cause they would English people met.
- 1:11:48Well, the thing, the thing that stereotypes.
- 1:11:50Is think about stereotypes with the English is they're just the
- 1:11:54most they they point to the most obvious thing in the world and
- 1:11:57then giggle about it like school children for 400 years, you
- 1:12:00know. Well, yes.
- 1:12:02And also they all they all come from somewhere, right?
- 1:12:06Like, yeah, yeah. That's the thing.
- 1:12:09But no, my, my step dad, his whole thing is we've got plenty
- 1:12:15of, we've got plenty of problems here in the country.
- 1:12:17Why in this country? Why do we need to keep
- 1:12:21intervening? And by and by the way, Max he he
- 1:12:24is, I'm a radical like the government should spend less guy
- 1:12:28in most respects, right? I think we've gotten so far away
- 1:12:31from the foundational principles in that regard.
- 1:12:34People, people worry about when rightly so about the like First
- 1:12:38and Second Amendment rights. But they're also stripping away
- 1:12:40your financial freedom bit by bit, all the time, particularly
- 1:12:45under Joe Biden. And that is a freedom that sucks
- 1:12:50to have infringed upon by taxes that you essentially didn't vote
- 1:12:55for and that they can't even put on you straight to your face,
- 1:12:58'cause remember, Joe Biden said he wasn't going to raise taxes
- 1:13:00on everybody. He he was going to go and raise
- 1:13:03taxes on the poor and only the wealthy, right?
- 1:13:07Hey, are you wealthy? No, but I'm white.
- 1:13:12So do you pay more in taxes you think than you did three years
- 1:13:17ago? Yeah, just by the tax of
- 1:13:21inflation alone. Yeah.
- 1:13:24Oh, yeah, I definitely. Because that's a tax on money
- 1:13:29they spent writing a check written on your ass in your
- 1:13:35labor to give to Ukraine and I and Israel and and at the same
- 1:13:44time, somehow Gaza, we're going to, we're going to just fund
- 1:13:46both sides of it openly. Congress just signed that to set
- 1:13:50up to fund both sides of war. And then I hear one side and the
- 1:13:53other calling each other war crimes.
- 1:13:55Here's the thing. War crimes only exists in court
- 1:14:01after the fucking crimes been committed.
- 1:14:03You got to understand, on a battlefield if they're just
- 1:14:06saying fuck it. Total War.
- 1:14:09Whoa. You might put them on trial one
- 1:14:12day and you can scream about war crimes, war crimes, war crimes,
- 1:14:16but they clearly ain't caring. And that might be true of either
- 1:14:19side. I don't know.
- 1:14:20Or both. Yeah, my, my hope, my prayer, my
- 1:14:25deep honest because I'm at the end of the day I'm an optimist,
- 1:14:29but my honest, you know, hope for in in all of this is a
- 1:14:33ceasefire. Just stop killing each other.
- 1:14:36That's late and and maybe that sounds like a simpleton answer
- 1:14:39and then people are going to give me a 20 hour lecture about
- 1:14:42the geopolitics. Look, I know about a lot of
- 1:14:45that, if not all of it, I certainly a lot of it.
- 1:14:49But the fact of the matter is, it's easier, you know, when
- 1:14:53people aren't killing each other, especially people who all
- 1:14:56three religions involved. One of the things they agree on
- 1:15:01is that those were specifically the words of God.
- 1:15:05You shouldn't. Kill each other.
- 1:15:06Right, So shouldn't that be before you kill each other?
- 1:15:10Shouldn't you consider not kill each other?
- 1:15:15I guess I'm just a dreamer, you know?
- 1:15:20Yeah, well, it's. I try not to choose violence,
- 1:15:23you know what I mean? I get, I get being backed in the
- 1:15:25corner, you know, I'm not a pacifist, but like, we're not
- 1:15:32backed in that corner, bro. Well, yeah, that.
- 1:15:37Well, that's the whole thing. We're paying for it on both
- 1:15:40sides. Yeah, well, that's the whole
- 1:15:44thing, right? Is.
- 1:15:46It's what are we getting out? Ask yourself that audience, what
- 1:15:51are you getting out of it? If we, even if we don't get
- 1:15:56involved in it militarily at all, beyond what that is, we
- 1:16:00just gave, I believe it was 100 million to Gaza refugee aid,
- 1:16:04which often ends up being used or misused for, you know, acts
- 1:16:10against Israel or hijack by Hamas, 'cause they need supplies
- 1:16:15more than anybody and they're the ones with, like, the guns
- 1:16:17and shit. Maybe you're going to take their
- 1:16:20supplies. Even if you hate them, you're
- 1:16:23not going to take their supplies or the supplies that they
- 1:16:25capture with a bunch of guns. Unless you have equal gunnery,
- 1:16:31you're probably just going to let Hamas have it.
- 1:16:34I don't blame anybody for that. I don't, although you don't know
- 1:16:39'cause they might agree with him.
- 1:16:40Honestly Max, like I don't why do we have to sort this out?
- 1:16:46They and God can sort this the fuck out as far as I'm
- 1:16:49concerned. All of both sides, you know?
- 1:16:53And then you want to look at who committed the war crimes after,
- 1:16:55but whatever doesn't seem to deter them.
- 1:16:59They probably both sides know some of the shit they did is
- 1:17:02like that, you know? It's war.
- 1:17:06That's why I advocate against it, because it's horrific.
- 1:17:11I honestly, especially for. I don't see.
- 1:17:20I don't see like what other option there is other than like
- 1:17:31a ceasefire at this point that that won't.
- 1:17:34Well, it's either it because like objectively, I mean one
- 1:17:39side their their slogan is literally like death to the Jew
- 1:17:43in Arabic and and the other side and pretty much the same thing,
- 1:17:48only just not like official. You know, it's a handshake and a
- 1:17:52wink. You can shoot that little
- 1:17:54Palestinian kid 'cause he ran across that red line or whatever
- 1:17:58for sure that happens. Like anyone, anyone pretending
- 1:18:01that doesn't happen. Abuse is in power, in positions
- 1:18:05like that. Yeah, it's happened.
- 1:18:07That doesn't reflect on every single Jew in the whole world.
- 1:18:10And that's the craziest thing to me.
- 1:18:11This is one of the things we're talking about.
- 1:18:14Whatever you want to say. I know there's like some, like
- 1:18:16Edge Lords on the right that, like think they're Nazis and
- 1:18:19hate Jews or whatever. Fine.
- 1:18:21I don't like a lot of those people's, you know, arguments
- 1:18:25for it. I've I've been to the belly of
- 1:18:27the beast. There's a famous one you can
- 1:18:29find in me somewhere if you fucking Google food deep enough.
- 1:18:33We're argued with an actual fascist on his show where he
- 1:18:38used to host, and he's still like, it's the last time I
- 1:18:41talked to him, he was a friend of mine.
- 1:18:42I ain't heard from him in a couple years, but we used to
- 1:18:45record his show at a cigar bar and I flat out like blew his
- 1:18:50fascist philosophy out the water so bad he ended his show.
- 1:18:54Forever. Yeah, well, you also made
- 1:18:58Christopher Cantwell cry. That's true.
- 1:19:02Yeah, but not the famous cry. He cried well before the famous
- 1:19:08Charlottesville. Cry.
- 1:19:09I'll tell you that all the time. He There's a 12 hour tape of
- 1:19:13him, like on meth, crying about me and his mom, and they used it
- 1:19:19in his trial to make him sound like a lunatic.
- 1:19:21Somebody cut it down from like 12 hours, 'cause it was like he
- 1:19:24recorded his stream of consciousness on meth for like
- 1:19:2912 hours, and he called it an art piece.
- 1:19:33This is true. You can look this up.
- 1:19:37Look up Christopher. No, no, I I I believe you.
- 1:19:39I I believe on Kiwi farms. Listen at this point, and if you
- 1:19:44look now that I said that, if you see any familiar faces, just
- 1:19:48ignore the man with the Just ignore Thor, OK?
- 1:19:53You don't know who Thor is. You never met him before?
- 1:19:58I've never seen him anywhere. Yeah.
- 1:20:03Yeah, they photoshopped me on Thor, telling Cantwell that he's
- 1:20:07a cock and to stop thinking with his Dick because he's the
- 1:20:10incredible cock as drawn by Iron Man is one of the greatest
- 1:20:15comics ever. Frankly, I I could bring it if
- 1:20:17you give me some time, if you have something to talk about,
- 1:20:20you can give me like 5 minutes. I'll find that shit.
- 1:20:22I'll bring it up to the audience.
- 1:20:24I laugh. Yeah, I mean you, you, I Max.
- 1:20:28I was just going to ask you if you like, if you if you watch
- 1:20:31Nate Rogan's interview with Elon Musk.
- 1:20:35No, I I I really do recommend it because.
- 1:20:41Or or I mean that's I have watched 1A while ago.
- 1:20:47Do you mean is there a recent one?
- 1:20:49Yeah, yeah he had, he had Rogan on.
- 1:20:51I mean, Rogan had Musk on yesterday.
- 1:20:55That. Sounds like a sneezer.
- 1:20:59I'm gonna pass on that. Oh yeah, well, it was totally
- 1:21:06boring. Wink, wink.
- 1:21:08They. I mean, they basically talked
- 1:21:12like how? I'm both kidding and not
- 1:21:15kidding, though, if you know what I mean.
- 1:21:17Like, I'm not going to listen to that.
- 1:21:19You can give me the bullet points, though.
- 1:21:21What do you say? Anything good?
- 1:21:23Basically. Pulling Alex Jones moment.
- 1:21:26Rip his shirt off. So remember that time bitch?
- 1:21:31He basically well. Monkeys in your vein?
- 1:21:35Well, he he basically said it like.
- 1:21:40Rogan just starts doing toilet. Flushes I I love, I love.
- 1:21:47I love how we've made that like a bit on on our show now too is
- 1:21:52like. But without the sound effect.
- 1:21:53I I actually made the conscious decision about that one.
- 1:21:56But if you put the sound effect, it would make the joke funnier
- 1:22:01to the audience, but not to me. Because it's funnier this way
- 1:22:07because they hear the toilet flush noise in their head and
- 1:22:11it's always going to be more worse in CREATE.
- 1:22:13This is like an old radio trick. It's always going to be worse
- 1:22:16and more creative in your head than the actual sound.
- 1:22:19Of it would be. That's why Morning Zoo fucking
- 1:22:22sucks, by the way. Yeah, no, yeah, no.
- 1:22:27Saying toilet flush is actually worse than.
- 1:22:32I was taught that not by some like radio professional, but
- 1:22:35like my high school AV guy teacher.
- 1:22:38Yeah. You know, this isn't like some
- 1:22:40super secret thing, is like if you leave the audience up to
- 1:22:44their own imagination. Hitchcock was the master of this
- 1:22:48very famously. You know you see the stabbing,
- 1:22:53but you don't see the stabbing. That's that's why.
- 1:22:57Like Silence of the Lambs is probably like my is probably my
- 1:23:02favorite horror film because you don't see all the like.
- 1:23:06You don't see all the gruesome murders, but it like.
- 1:23:10Psychos are much more toned down than that.
- 1:23:12The stabbing scene that's so famous is a shadow.
- 1:23:15Yeah. Right.
- 1:23:17And then some blood flowing down the drain.
- 1:23:20That's what the genius of it is, right?
- 1:23:22Because your imagination of what that looks like is always going
- 1:23:26to be more fucked up than any of the special.
- 1:23:28They can make some special effects that'll make you sick in
- 1:23:30some cases, for sure. There's some movies with some,
- 1:23:35like I I don't really like gore flicks, to be honest with you.
- 1:23:38That's like a thing I'm not a big fan of, but I've seen some,
- 1:23:42you know, some are all right. Like.
- 1:23:48I don't mean like real ones, you know.
- 1:23:50I don't like to look at that. My friends used to look at that.
- 1:23:53I might look like the kind of guy that looked at a lot of
- 1:23:55that. But actually, I've mentioned I'm
- 1:23:58almost in emergency services, so I had seen enough people die in
- 1:24:02front of me already by that point to go be looking at Gore.
- 1:24:05You know what I mean? Car.
- 1:24:08Accident guy, you know what I mean?
- 1:24:11People getting paralyzed, 'cause I was hanging out in the
- 1:24:14hospital. That's.
- 1:24:17For whatever reason, no babysitter.
- 1:24:20Both my parents worked so I hung out in the fucking lounge for
- 1:24:26like an hour after school so I could get a ride home and they
- 1:24:29just wheel the guy in and just got fucking like plowed by a
- 1:24:32semi truck, just crush as a human being.
- 1:24:36But they got a little breather on them.
- 1:24:38But like, there's yeah, I didn't.
- 1:24:41Not to be too, not to be too over the top, but I didn't
- 1:24:44really need to see it on the Internet after that.
- 1:24:47Yeah, well, I I, you know, I would.
- 1:24:50I would think that would kind of numb you to anything on the
- 1:24:52Internet like. I have the opposite.
- 1:24:54I don't like it. It makes me sick, 'cause like I
- 1:24:57have empathy for human beings. That's why I'm anti war too, you
- 1:25:00know? Yeah.
- 1:25:02Because I don't know. Whatever your thoughts are on
- 1:25:05God, I like at least the idea one way or the other.
- 1:25:09Basically what those pilgrims had that were all equal in the
- 1:25:13eyes of. The one Holy Creator, whichever
- 1:25:17version of it you believe in. But apparently that's like not a
- 1:25:21belief shared by most of the population of Earth.
- 1:25:25So what are you gonna do? Yeah, well, and then people, you
- 1:25:34know, the killing in the name of religion is also like, that is
- 1:25:39one thing that does. Kind of like that's always
- 1:25:43baffled me, I guess. But it's inevitable, yeah.
- 1:25:51It's like 2 peas in a pod, you know?
- 1:25:53Especially, I guess if you could ever get like, in a kind of
- 1:25:57utopian, bullshitty kind of way, thinking in the meta, a society
- 1:26:01that at least all across humanity agreed on what the
- 1:26:05religion was, you might avoid that.
- 1:26:10Well, I'm not sure you wouldn't. Be able to do that?
- 1:26:13Like I I don't think you'd be able to do that voluntarily.
- 1:26:16No, I. Mean like.
- 1:26:19I mean that's the story of the Emperor in 40K really.
- 1:26:22At least his like early incarnations when he came to
- 1:26:27power in the Unification Wars and Warhammer 40K.
- 1:26:30His whole point was to unify them under no religion, but that
- 1:26:34was because of the Chaos Gods. So he wanted to make everybody
- 1:26:39atheist because he figured, if they believed.
- 1:26:42They'd they'd feed essentially these demon gods.
- 1:26:45So he made them all atheist to save everybody.
- 1:26:49But ignoring that science fictiony part of it, I think
- 1:26:53that the emperor is a good metaphor for the only way you
- 1:26:56solve the problem of people fighting over religion.
- 1:26:59And it doesn't really solve it. It just kills the people that
- 1:27:02disagree and that's what they're all saying they want to do to
- 1:27:06each other. Well, I.
- 1:27:08Mean. I don't know what you do about
- 1:27:09it because both sides are pretty fucking adamant, you know?
- 1:27:14Well, I mean, I've always said that, like.
- 1:27:16They'll be like. Oh, they bombed Ted, what was
- 1:27:21that refugee camp? You know, we got a Hamas guy.
- 1:27:26Yeah, you just bombed A refugee camp full of women and children.
- 1:27:29I like. I'm supposed to think that's OK
- 1:27:31because you're the side that I kind of think is in the right.
- 1:27:35Not really, man. I don't think killing people is
- 1:27:38like, OK, if there was one Hamas guy there, but there was like,
- 1:27:41however many women, children and, you know, innocent
- 1:27:44bystanders, is that going to make it better?
- 1:27:50No. No.
- 1:27:53They might be out for revenge. Both sides are.
- 1:27:55And that's what's scary, you know?
- 1:27:58Yeah, and and they both might use human Shields, but that
- 1:28:01doesn't mean that the, you know that that cost the human shield.
- 1:28:05Collateral damage too. Like that actually is a thing.
- 1:28:09So you get the the the both sides of the coin right.
- 1:28:13A lot of these rockets, the both sides are firing, aren't like
- 1:28:16the most accurate things in the world either.
- 1:28:20No. Well, and that's like that's my.
- 1:28:22Israel's are more accurate generally, but that's what makes
- 1:28:26you think when they bought like do do.
- 1:28:29If they did see, that's the thing.
- 1:28:30They did lie a lot about the whole hospital thing, so you
- 1:28:34can't even really bother. That's why I like, gradually pay
- 1:28:36attention. I scroll through.
- 1:28:38You know what I do? I scroll through when I'm on the
- 1:28:40shitter, 'cause, you know, they might be called X now, but it'll
- 1:28:43still always be shitter to me after I just just celebrated my
- 1:28:4715 year anniversary with X. Yeah, X has been around for 15
- 1:28:51years. No, I was Twitter.
- 1:28:53And you know, my response to that post was Sam.
- 1:28:57Wow, what a waste of time. Thanks for reminding me I should
- 1:29:02use Twitter less and look at this bullshit because because
- 1:29:07you want to know my heart. Stop killing each other and
- 1:29:10they'll be like whoa, but this is more complicated than that.
- 1:29:13All right, cool. But you heard my opinion.
- 1:29:16I think you should maybe fucking grab a Turkey and fucking cuddle
- 1:29:21up by the fire and learn each other's language or something
- 1:29:24that seems more wholesome to me. Although you know I, I know you
- 1:29:31know. They know each other's language
- 1:29:33and they know they hate each other for fucking reasons.
- 1:29:35And well, but you also, I know you don't like pit bulls either.
- 1:29:45No, I'm not a fan. Not a fan.
- 1:29:49I don't even know if I want to. Like, I want to trick or treat.
- 1:29:52And obviously it was Halloween. So first, yeah.
- 1:29:56Went with his grandmother. She basically took him around
- 1:29:59all her old lady friends and got him lots of big candy bars,
- 1:30:04'cause they're all good heart, these little grandchildren.
- 1:30:07Of all the people that she hangs out with, that her old people
- 1:30:10building, right, they'll all give him like big candy bars and
- 1:30:14shit. So he went around and did that,
- 1:30:15and I'm pretty sure he went to the the police station, was
- 1:30:18giving out like candy with like safety instructions and shit
- 1:30:23like that. But he likes cops.
- 1:30:25He he actually, that was when they asked him at school what he
- 1:30:27wanted to be for a living. He said he want to be.
- 1:30:29I think I've said this before, a police officer and and and that
- 1:30:34must have given you like. Oh, no.
- 1:30:36Oh no. Really.
- 1:30:39Not really. That's a noble fucking pursuit
- 1:30:41for a good six year old. Yeah, I mean it is I I'm just
- 1:30:47kind of, I'm giving you a hard time because you know, I know
- 1:30:50your stance on cops and. I'll say this like the few times
- 1:30:55I've interacted with cops, with my son, it's been not because of
- 1:31:01me being a bad guy and I've asked them, not just him, but
- 1:31:06also like two of his cousins. Hey officer, we have children in
- 1:31:11the house. So you know, when you come in,
- 1:31:14could you please just, you know, not not try to scare the kids
- 1:31:17because like. I mean, that's a long story.
- 1:31:21I don't know. We're supposed to talk about
- 1:31:23Israel. I beat up a guy basically
- 1:31:27because he stole. He stole my wife's debit card
- 1:31:31because he was a junkie, lowlife friend of her cousin that we
- 1:31:34were staying with. And he was talking to me that
- 1:31:38same morning he was talking to me, and I was trying to convince
- 1:31:43him to go get himself in a rehab program and straighten his life
- 1:31:46out. And right after that
- 1:31:47conversation when he said he went to go to the bathroom.
- 1:31:50He walked in to my bedroom, closed door, opened it, went in,
- 1:31:57found my wife's purse next to my sleeping son and stole her debit
- 1:32:01card so that he could go to like the liquor store, like a packie
- 1:32:05that we call him out here if you didn't know.
- 1:32:08I'm not sure they called him that elsewhere.
- 1:32:12And he bought like a pack or two of cigarettes and some cheap
- 1:32:17fucking booze. And then tried to take a bunch
- 1:32:21of money out on a debit card, and by that point it rejected
- 1:32:24him because she knew it was missing immediately.
- 1:32:28But I didn't think it was him immediately.
- 1:32:30I was like, Nah, you must have dropped it or whatever until
- 1:32:33there was a charge because she hadn't left the house.
- 1:32:37He did. And then he came back.
- 1:32:40And this is the audacity of this motherfucker.
- 1:32:42I'm not even kidding you. We had a court case about this.
- 1:32:44He was found guilty. This is a matter of fucking
- 1:32:47public record. But fucking.
- 1:32:50He came back with these spoils of his little his little theft,
- 1:32:55his escapade, right. And what did he do?
- 1:32:59He tried to order pizza with my wife's credit card right in
- 1:33:02front of us. So I picked him up by the shirt
- 1:33:09and I snatched the credit card. And then I picked him up off the
- 1:33:13ground by the shirt because I'm a big guy and he's not.
- 1:33:17And it's one of the advantages you have.
- 1:33:19An intimidation factor was when you pick somebody up.
- 1:33:23Most people don't get picked up very often.
- 1:33:26It's not something they're used to.
- 1:33:31Yeah. Usually react at all, basically.
- 1:33:34I mean, especially if you squeeze really hard.
- 1:33:40They're too busy. Like, ah, my ribs and then you
- 1:33:43just. Throw.
- 1:33:45No, this is the strategy of a big man.
- 1:33:47That's why that's what you do when you're a bouncer.
- 1:33:49If you actually have to get physical with somebody or a
- 1:33:52security guard and you don't have any like weapons, like some
- 1:33:55places, they won't allow you. Especially if you're working
- 1:33:57around celebrities. Some places you aren't allowed
- 1:34:00to have any weapons. You just that's why they hire
- 1:34:03big scary looking hairy dudes 'cause you pick them up and you.
- 1:34:10It's most times at that point they get the message right.
- 1:34:14Yeah, it. Was like.
- 1:34:15Three or four times I ever had to forcibly remove somebody from
- 1:34:18a venue, right. Personally.
- 1:34:22And the two of them were just, hey, how about you don't do that
- 1:34:29anymore? How about you come with me,
- 1:34:30we're going outside and they're like, yeah, all right,
- 1:34:36gentlemen. And then the four other people
- 1:34:37that had just swarmed them next to me that are all usually as
- 1:34:41big as me. A lot of times there's Samoan.
- 1:34:46Oh yeah, the and yeah. And those, those guys look like,
- 1:34:50you know, monsters. Yeah, monsters.
- 1:34:53Monsters. You know what I mean?
- 1:34:56Like, not, not not in a disrespectful way.
- 1:34:58They were fucking like Samoans get get a reputation for being
- 1:35:03fat but most of them guys were bodybuilding them.
- 1:35:06No, no, no. I've I've, I've known some
- 1:35:10Samoans a a lot I I went to college with.
- 1:35:13This. They're big.
- 1:35:15Don't get me wrong, they're built wide.
- 1:35:17You know what's funny is that? What's that Disney cartoon with
- 1:35:20the rock in it? It.
- 1:35:23It's. Cartoony, but it almost gets the
- 1:35:25proportion of a lot of Samoan dudes right with the giant upper
- 1:35:28body dude. Oh the oh the the the Moana.
- 1:35:32Yeah, I never saw that, but I know.
- 1:35:36It's actually fairly good and I would say on the woke scale, it
- 1:35:39doesn't bother me 'cause it's just paying tribute to that
- 1:35:41culture and it's kind of unique to it.
- 1:35:43And it's his culture, literally. Or at least half of it.
- 1:35:49No, I I want to I. Want an important culture in his
- 1:35:52life and his wrestling too? You know what I mean?
- 1:35:55I want to. Be anybody without his Samoan
- 1:35:57heritage and his family lineage. If you think about it, I want.
- 1:36:01To and his God-given talent. Yeah, no.
- 1:36:06I went to college with the with the Samoan and he said the one
- 1:36:10thing that you know the one thing always kind of he always
- 1:36:15kind of felt bad was because I mean he's super down to earth
- 1:36:18like everyone's everyone's kind. Everyone was kind of scared of
- 1:36:21him just because how big he was. Yeah.
- 1:36:24And he's a he's a he's a giant teddy bear basically.
- 1:36:28But like everyone was. Just no, no.
- 1:36:30They're fucking. They're wonderful.
- 1:36:32Like to work with. They're like, no, they.
- 1:36:34Are actually no motherfuckers out there?
- 1:36:36Was the SMO and bodyguards, dude.
- 1:36:38Like they knew their shit. They all had like ear pieces on
- 1:36:41and shit. I'm feeling like a fucking
- 1:36:43scrub, man, but I'm as big as most of them, so they at least
- 1:36:47treat you like a peer, you know? And you?
- 1:36:50Know like ain't no like clique ISM about it or anything.
- 1:36:54It's just the thing I noticed is like that they have a genetic
- 1:36:57predisposition to be big the way I'm big and throw people around.
- 1:37:02And a lot of them seem to make a lot of money off of it and.
- 1:37:05That's. Pretty based actually.
- 1:37:07That is one That is one thing that I think he would like about
- 1:37:11this. Including The Rock.
- 1:37:12If you think about it he got paid a lot of money to use his
- 1:37:15size and athleticism to just throw people around.
- 1:37:19Yeah, well that is one thing on the on Rogan's interview with
- 1:37:23Musk yesterday is because he and for for the folks that we might
- 1:37:30not remember. What did he say?
- 1:37:32Anything good? Well, you remember when he was,
- 1:37:35when he and Musk were going to, when he and when Musk and
- 1:37:39Zuckerberg were going to, like, fight you.
- 1:37:43Remember that is that. Still.
- 1:37:44Well, well. Zuck.
- 1:37:46Chickened out. And Musk.
- 1:37:50And Musk. Look.
- 1:37:53Ignoring money, ignoring who Zuckerberg is.
- 1:37:56Ignoring his wrongs. Ignoring that he banned me flat
- 1:37:59out from his sight forever for no reason at all as a
- 1:38:03middle-aged man that's kind of a nerd and has some fighting
- 1:38:08experience. I won't hold that against him,
- 1:38:12if you know what I mean. He has.
- 1:38:13None. He was training.
- 1:38:15Training is one thing. Even sparring is one thing.
- 1:38:19But a fight? Can really fucking hurt you.
- 1:38:22Especially they're two untrained fighters with no fight
- 1:38:24experience. Well, also, though Elon is a
- 1:38:27Elon. How soft core they go.
- 1:38:29Even with pads, there's a good chance a middle-aged man is
- 1:38:33going to like tear a quad. I almost tore a quad today just
- 1:38:36stepping in a hole by accident. Charlie horse out the ass and I
- 1:38:39can feel if you're a big man, that's the thing you know is
- 1:38:44what it feels like. To pull that muscle and even to
- 1:38:48come close to tearing it. And I came as close as fucking
- 1:38:51shit today just 'cause I stepped in a hole, 'cause I'm 40, you
- 1:38:54know what I mean? I ain't fucking 20 anymore where
- 1:38:56I could bounce back. Yeah, no, but that but but so,
- 1:39:02but so much was basically saying that.
- 1:39:04They laughed with Kevin Nash tearing his quad.
- 1:39:06Brother's what, 7 feet tall. Lucky, Yeah, he tore his quad
- 1:39:12walking. Yeah, but he's 7 feet tall.
- 1:39:15I feel you. Yeah, and he was in his 40s, I
- 1:39:18think. I get it, but no, Musk said that
- 1:39:23he could basically just beat Zuck by just throwing him,
- 1:39:28because Elon Musk is actually Elon Musk.
- 1:39:33They're not in the same weight class at all.
- 1:39:35No. Musk is actually a big dude.
- 1:39:37So he he was he was saying that like he could just he could just
- 1:39:42literally like he could literally just like what did.
- 1:39:47What did what did Joe think of that assessment?
- 1:39:50Does he agree? He was like, yeah, he was like
- 1:39:53well and. Also, I hadn't thought.
- 1:39:55About it, but yeah, I thought because they had agreed to a
- 1:39:57fight, I figured they would be the same weight class.
- 1:40:00No. I mean, they give me a height
- 1:40:02difference and you still be like, 'cause how do you think I
- 1:40:05got fights? You know what I mean?
- 1:40:08Yeah. Trim down a bit if you want to
- 1:40:10fight the light heavyweights right.
- 1:40:12If you're a natural heavyweight, it's tough to fucking trim
- 1:40:14weight. I'll tell you, a gain weight for
- 1:40:17the smaller guys is way easier than trimming weight when you're
- 1:40:20a natural heavyweight well and also like you want to.
- 1:40:25Actually do when. You're a businessman for real,
- 1:40:28and you're just doing it as a lark because you're having a
- 1:40:30midlife crisis or whatever. Yeah, but also but.
- 1:40:35Also. The Golden Boy is not free from
- 1:40:38criticism either. Is a little midlife.
- 1:40:41Crisis. He to all of a sudden decide
- 1:40:43he's a fighter. No, you know what I mean?
- 1:40:44Yeah, he's a big guy and he could win, but it's it's true of
- 1:40:48both of them because they agreed to a fight at one point.
- 1:40:51In theory, yeah. Well, well.
- 1:40:54But unlike unlike Zuckerberg, Elon.
- 1:40:57And not delivering is very like anti PT Barnum of them.
- 1:41:02Well that well, that was that was so Elon Musk because.
- 1:41:06You don't put a gun on the table, gentlemen.
- 1:41:09And then don't use it in the scene.
- 1:41:11Yeah, yeah. No, I I think was.
- 1:41:14I think was. I love to watch.
- 1:41:15The fight, even if it is Elon just picking him up and throw
- 1:41:18him as a big guy, respect that. He said that.
- 1:41:21That's the strategy because if you're a big guy, you're just
- 1:41:23going to pick him up and fucking throw.
- 1:41:25I didn't know. I figured they were going to
- 1:41:27meet at like 185 or something because they're a bunch of
- 1:41:29corporate schlubs and they probably eat fast food all the
- 1:41:32time. Well, well also though I I
- 1:41:36think, I think Zuck realized he was kind of out of his element
- 1:41:38because the thing the thing I must because he actually, he
- 1:41:41grew up in South Africa during apartheid and so he actually he
- 1:41:47actually got into fights early on like say what you will.
- 1:41:53I'm question it. I'm just saying like, yeah, if
- 1:41:57there's that much of A weight difference, that part doesn't
- 1:42:00even matter. Two complete scrub newbies never
- 1:42:03fought a real fight like a even an amateur fight in their life.
- 1:42:06They've only sparred and they're not in the same weight class.
- 1:42:11The one in the smaller weight class is probably going to lose,
- 1:42:14and it's probably going to be ugly.
- 1:42:16Yeah, the. Classes exist well, well, the
- 1:42:20one in the smaller weight class who's?
- 1:42:21It's just not fair otherwise. The one who's never this, the
- 1:42:27guy who's in a smaller weight class, who's never fought
- 1:42:30because he was in prep school. I was like versus the scrappy
- 1:42:34kid who, you know, fought for. I might be a grappler, but like
- 1:42:38even this is the truth truism even in like boxing.
- 1:42:43Yeah. Because they hit harder.
- 1:42:45They're like, maybe you can get a small guy that has like a hard
- 1:42:491-2, like he's got that one combination he can really land
- 1:42:53and put it in right. Yeah.
- 1:42:56The average punch coming out of a heavyweight.
- 1:42:59He's probably close to as hard as that, and that's all they're
- 1:43:02throwing. You're you're lightweight.
- 1:43:06You can only throw so much weight behind it, yeah.
- 1:43:10Especially with gloves on. Well, no.
- 1:43:13It it's like. Right, and you're going to pick
- 1:43:16your and Defense has been the name of the game basically since
- 1:43:21the days of Rocky Marching. Oh, another topic on the lost
- 1:43:23episode. Random ass shit.
- 1:43:27Well, also like. Then it scrambles about King
- 1:43:30Philip's War for fucking 10 minutes in.
- 1:43:34The comes in, comes in. Sam's like, I want to talk about
- 1:43:38the Elon Musk Joe Rogan interview.
- 1:43:39I'm like, have you heard about the story of the first
- 1:43:42Thanksgiving? Well, well considering this
- 1:43:47episode is like titled the 1st of November, though it is, it is
- 1:43:50appropriate though so. Well, hey, if you're if you're
- 1:43:55of that stripe that believes in freedom, and if you're listening
- 1:43:58to this show, you do and maybe me and you differ on what
- 1:44:01freedom is, and that's OK, right?
- 1:44:03At least, you know, like being thankful.
- 1:44:05Like, I don't know. Like the left wants to paint the
- 1:44:09first Thanksgiving is bad. And I get it how some Indian
- 1:44:13tribes probably from other parts of the country, maybe don't see
- 1:44:16it the same. But like up here, like, like
- 1:44:20most of us know that story. That's local history.
- 1:44:24That's this country's history. Yeah, they fought.
- 1:44:27You're right. They fought.
- 1:44:28And people killed each other on both sides.
- 1:44:31And then it was like the worst winter in history.
- 1:44:33And those Indians were just like, you know, white dude, you
- 1:44:36OK? Like, here's some turkeys.
- 1:44:38Let's just fucking get warm. And.
- 1:44:41Well, here's some shit. And they were like, hey, have
- 1:44:43you tried corn? Here's my question, Max.
- 1:44:47How do you? Here's the most important
- 1:44:49question. How do you like to prepare all
- 1:44:51your Turkey? Gently.
- 1:44:54Oh, I I I'll share. I'm a fantastic chef, I know.
- 1:45:00I prepare 2. Generally speaking, in terms of
- 1:45:05like seasoning, I just roast them.
- 1:45:07But I I lightly season them, usually with just like basil and
- 1:45:11maybe a little oregano, some thyme if I'm feeling spicy and
- 1:45:17just roast it just right. The trick is, a lot of people
- 1:45:21can't cook Turkey and get it the right moistness but also the
- 1:45:24right, like color, right? Well, trick is that I just rub
- 1:45:30the littlest bit of like a teaspoon of oil on the palm of
- 1:45:33my hand. And I massage the Turkey all
- 1:45:39over its Turkey body right before after I put the seasoning
- 1:45:44on. So what that does do you brine
- 1:45:48the Turkey? No, no.
- 1:45:52I just get a fresh Turkey. I get the ones with like all the
- 1:45:55fucking gizzards and neck like separate.
- 1:45:58And I don't even use them. I know a lot of Southern people
- 1:46:00use them. I find them.
- 1:46:03It's kind of gross, but that's because, like, I have a specific
- 1:46:05diet anyway. I can really only eat the white
- 1:46:07meat anyway, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:46:10We'll eat. Two of them.
- 1:46:12So you don't run out of it because we use the dark meat to
- 1:46:15make. I use the dark meat to make like
- 1:46:17soup and sandwiches with a Portuguese roll.
- 1:46:22My God, I make the the Turkey sandwiches on.
- 1:46:26I guess it's kind of a local thing because Port Portuguese
- 1:46:29people aren't like. And I don't mean Brazilian.
- 1:46:32I mean from Portugal. You feel me in Europe.
- 1:46:36That's where, like my my step dad's family's from.
- 1:46:39They're all Portuguese, like my great grandmother and and her
- 1:46:44husband. He only spoke Portuguese and she
- 1:46:47mostly. Spoke Portuguese.
- 1:46:51So we have that culture here. They all settled in this one
- 1:46:54spot and like their bulky roles that they cook are.
- 1:46:58Like, they have this, like really good.
- 1:47:00It's hard but soft texture, similar to like French bread,
- 1:47:05but a little more hearty. And to make Turkey sandwiches
- 1:47:08and the leftovers of them things is divine.
- 1:47:11But you got to get them rolls on a Sunday morning because they're
- 1:47:14all the bakers, are all fucking Catholic.
- 1:47:16And if you get them when they're going out of church, that's when
- 1:47:19they've baked up the most. Especially if you get them
- 1:47:21during Lent because you can get the hot cross bun take on it.
- 1:47:26And Hot Cross Buns are fucking amazing.
- 1:47:31They are. I've had one, Yeah.
- 1:47:35Well, like around here, like everybody's Catholic.
- 1:47:37I was talking to my wife about this.
- 1:47:39It's like her dad, you know, I talk about my father-in-law was
- 1:47:43a bit of a rebel himself in his own way.
- 1:47:46And by that it's 'cause he was raised Catholic because.
- 1:47:50His mother is literally in charge of Catholic education for
- 1:47:53like the air, the area he grew up in, like not just that one
- 1:47:56city, but all of it. She's like the head nun she
- 1:47:59passed recently out of very short battle with cancer.
- 1:48:05Well, it was probably long, but when she from when she found out
- 1:48:07until when she was gone with only a couple months.
- 1:48:11But she was an old Catholic Church lady and my
- 1:48:15father-in-law. As corny as I saw him in his
- 1:48:20middle age when I first met him, and he hated my guts and he was
- 1:48:23like a Bible thumper in his own way.
- 1:48:26He was rebellious and he used to like rock'n'roll.
- 1:48:29He played in a band. We're actually more alike.
- 1:48:31That's why he ended up becoming so close with me.
- 1:48:33But at first he hated me. But he rebelled against being
- 1:48:38Catholic and became like a born again.
- 1:48:41But then he fell out with the church because he didn't believe
- 1:48:44in like the organized church being the only way to God
- 1:48:47anymore. And he became a minister like
- 1:48:49me. I got him registered right
- 1:48:52before he died because that was, I felt that he deserved.
- 1:48:55A title like that? I'm a of course ordained
- 1:48:58minister, you know like churches well and you can be due for like
- 1:49:015 bucks. I guess it's meaningless, but I
- 1:49:06have studied like various branches of theology.
- 1:49:10To the point that I feel it's OK to and I've I I by the way, I
- 1:49:14just got my like certificate about that for how long I've
- 1:49:16been certified. I've been certified for 14 or 15
- 1:49:22years and I've married people and I've performed services,
- 1:49:25weddings and a couple funerals. Yeah.
- 1:49:27No, you. You have you have a pretty.
- 1:49:33I don't register with the state of Massachusetts for one reason.
- 1:49:36It's 'cause they they have a random selection pool for people
- 1:49:39that like, don't have a pastor. And I don't want to be forced to
- 1:49:44do a gay wedding because I genuinely like, don't, don't
- 1:49:50like that it's. I would be uncomfortable.
- 1:49:54That's what it is. I don't want to ruin.
- 1:49:55It's not even like I hate you. I don't want to ruin your day
- 1:49:58because I'm the uncomfortable guy.
- 1:49:59But I would find it. How could I not?
- 1:50:03I I I hate it. I just think that the government
- 1:50:07ought to stay out of marriage, honestly.
- 1:50:09That's what I've been saying all along.
- 1:50:11Like, I just think that's not the government's business.
- 1:50:14It's the church, it's your community, it's you and your
- 1:50:16partner. It's it's a lot of things that
- 1:50:20should be holding you to the vow that you're making.
- 1:50:23And I always took all that part seriously.
- 1:50:25How many people don't because we've been married a pretty long
- 1:50:28time and we were together a long time before that.
- 1:50:30And I'm saying how many people I've watched.
- 1:50:33Take it and everybody act like, oh, they're better.
- 1:50:36Often times they'll be the ones acting like they're a better
- 1:50:38couple than you, you know what I mean?
- 1:50:40They like, try to power flex and they're divorced now, especially
- 1:50:44especially on social media. Like, this is the thing like I
- 1:50:48had. I actually had to get off
- 1:50:51Instagram for a while because there was a point when I was
- 1:50:55like 21 or 22 where I was really depressed because like all my
- 1:50:59friends from high school. Showing off these like over the
- 1:51:02top corny romance photos. Yeah, and and and weddings and
- 1:51:07like in. Weddings, yeah.
- 1:51:09And then I have those people. At least half for fucking
- 1:51:12divorced statistically, right? Yep.
- 1:51:14Well, yeah, a lot of them are starting to, to get divorced,
- 1:51:18you know, and. I'll say this, my wife's friend
- 1:51:21group seems to be fucking weird for our generation.
- 1:51:25Not me, 'cause I don't even know what's become of my quote UN
- 1:51:28quote friend group. I would just became the king of
- 1:51:30the freaks, 'cause I guess, 'cause I'm big and a little bit
- 1:51:32charismatic or whatever. It.
- 1:51:35Wasn't a title I like accepted. I was kind of just bullied them
- 1:51:39for the most part and made them get me like extra lunch.
- 1:51:43You're you're well, you're well read.
- 1:51:45Though I will say that like you don't look like that.
- 1:51:48Guy, why? I'm going to have a
- 1:51:48motherfucker? Because if you're stupid enough
- 1:51:50to get me an extra fucking lunch so I don't beat you up, then
- 1:51:53fucking give me an extra lunch, you know?
- 1:51:55I've read a. Few books.
- 1:51:56I know how to fucking play the game.
- 1:51:58You know what? One of those was.
- 1:51:59That's Influential young men. If you haven't read it, here we
- 1:52:02go. Max recommends a book, How to
- 1:52:04Win Friends and Influence People.
- 1:52:07Yep, I Yep, I've read that. Improve your interpersonal
- 1:52:11skills. You've read that right because
- 1:52:13it was probably mandated as part of a course that you took,
- 1:52:16whether in high. School or College?
- 1:52:17And no, my mom actually recommended I.
- 1:52:21There you go. Yeah, and your mom's a
- 1:52:23successful businesswoman. We might recommend the.
- 1:52:26Yeah, yeah, it's This is crazy how this one book has helped so
- 1:52:30many people, including a guy you might have heard of.
- 1:52:34What's his name? Oh, it's been so long, Donald J
- 1:52:37Trump. Oh.
- 1:52:40He wrote actually like one of the reprints.
- 1:52:42He wrote the foreword to it. Yeah.
- 1:52:45Well, no, that that's like, that's why, like people who say,
- 1:52:50oh, well, Sam's like, you know, such a nice guy.
- 1:52:53Like, well, you know, part of that is my nature.
- 1:52:55But also, like, part of that is because I read that book and was
- 1:52:59like, well, how can I put this into my show?
- 1:53:04And like, yeah, like, that's why.
- 1:53:06Like, I'm not, like, I'm not even saying this is like a brag.
- 1:53:10Like, that's why. Like, I'm not one of these,
- 1:53:12like, trashy, like drama streamers who says they're going
- 1:53:16to go to people's houses and stab people now because because
- 1:53:22because they're making fun of people.
- 1:53:24Like Cog might want to read this book.
- 1:53:28He. Ain't no, I mean.
- 1:53:29I. You know.
- 1:53:31Here's the thing about like, ironic posting on the Internet.
- 1:53:35Like I I hate to bring that up, but.
- 1:53:36The people that you don't, you know, No, it's fine.
- 1:53:39Like, 'cause that's that's something like, yeah, maybe
- 1:53:42there's certain people I don't want to talk about, right?
- 1:53:45Because because it's not, not even because they're not worth
- 1:53:48the time, but they're not worth the drama of because I don't
- 1:53:51have a beef with them. But I kind of have a beef with
- 1:53:53when you start, when you start saying that and you think that
- 1:53:56you're immune because you're irony posting.
- 1:53:59Let me explain how this works. OK.
- 1:54:02If you say you're a pedophile, ironically, I'm just going to
- 1:54:07take you at your word and assume you are.
- 1:54:09Because only somebody who's even borderline or thought about like
- 1:54:13you had. You're giving yourself an out in
- 1:54:16your own mind, I believe, if you if you do the ironic pedophile
- 1:54:21thing as a response to the accusation of it from.
- 1:54:26Whether he wants to admit or not, and I Let's look deep into
- 1:54:29it, It's from a brother, which is a somewhat credible source,
- 1:54:33but he's discredited the source as well.
- 1:54:35To be fair, with his other brother, saying that this guy
- 1:54:38has mental health issues so that then it's up for the audience to
- 1:54:41decide. And what Cog doesn't understand
- 1:54:44is like his aggressive behavior. By saying things like he wants
- 1:54:48to burn down the House of and stab anonymous Internet users,
- 1:54:52you're making fun of him. Saying your brother says you're
- 1:54:55a pedophile. Well, your brother did say
- 1:54:57you're a pedophile. And you know what?
- 1:55:00That's a good little headline because it says exactly what
- 1:55:03happened. It leaves out context, Yeah, but
- 1:55:07we live in the age of the Internet, and you make your
- 1:55:09living off the Internet. It's all sound bites and also
- 1:55:13it's. Not happens.
- 1:55:14Ours were like either me making fun of a boomer and everybody
- 1:55:17laughing along except him, or like toilet flush, right?
- 1:55:21Ours are innocent memes. Your memes are I, I've even my
- 1:55:26wife now is aware of Cog simply by the fact of every time
- 1:55:31there's a short clip on my Twitter feed of him, it's him
- 1:55:34spurging out. And she now knows that's the guy
- 1:55:36that just spurgs out about everything.
- 1:55:39Yeah, well, that one. See.
- 1:55:40Like the other thing too. Is like clip of him.
- 1:55:42It's going to be funny because he's going to be so fucking mad
- 1:55:45about some random Internet user that he says doesn't matter.
- 1:55:49Yeah, well then and and that and then he wants to stab like he
- 1:55:54can. Do whatever he wants.
- 1:55:56You know I just think what a what a waste of time.
- 1:56:00Especially when like he's relying on his audience for
- 1:56:03donations. However, I feel about that right
- 1:56:05And he gets real hostile with people in his audience.
- 1:56:08Well, it's don't want like maybe they wouldn't have donated.
- 1:56:11You're right. Right.
- 1:56:11Maybe they but like maybe they would have.
- 1:56:15I I've. I'll tell you at one point
- 1:56:17before the Christopher Cantwell feud I was kind of one of those
- 1:56:20people with him. I told him.
- 1:56:22You know, I would donate because you're a pro Second Amendment
- 1:56:25guy because he was an anarchist fucking ancap or whatever.
- 1:56:29I was like, you know what? I like guns.
- 1:56:32You say you like guns too. Go to the range and shoot and
- 1:56:35film that. And maybe that's like a Patreon
- 1:56:38thing that I might donate for and he never actually fucking
- 1:56:41did it. See, sometimes people are
- 1:56:43actually just on the fence about it and they just want to see
- 1:56:46something out of you. Yeah, your your job is your
- 1:56:49dancing fucking monkey. That's the problem.
- 1:56:52Our job isn't that I dance for free, bitch.
- 1:56:57Well, well. You know, like there's.
- 1:56:58More honor in dancing for free than there is for being a $2.00
- 1:57:02hoe on the unholy. About that one, well, I acted.
- 1:57:07To my radio show last night, which by the way was an absolute
- 1:57:11blast, and I want to thank everybody dude.
- 1:57:13At one point we had quite a few people in chat.
- 1:57:15I never thought that would happen.
- 1:57:17I just wanted to throw back to the old times when I used to
- 1:57:20play jams. And someone would listen to it
- 1:57:23and it was a fucking blast. So I I did.
- 1:57:26I did listen to a little bit of it while I was waiting for my
- 1:57:29folks. But yeah, Kik Kik's app wasn't
- 1:57:34working real well on airport Wi-Fi.
- 1:57:37So. The other thing was like, nobody
- 1:57:39was in the chat except like me and Dalek.
- 1:57:42And he was like, Oh well, why don't people post?
- 1:57:44And I'm like because Kik makes you have an account.
- 1:57:48And then it asks you for a phone number.
- 1:57:50And I don't blame anybody. Don't.
- 1:57:52I said don't get in chat. It's fine.
- 1:57:55We'll do it. Old school.
- 1:57:56There ain't no chat. You know, you're chatting your
- 1:57:58mind. And hopefully I entertain and
- 1:58:01and and and I feel like I did a good job.
- 1:58:03Everybody said it was fun, had a blast.
- 1:58:06It was old school. Yeah, we we pirated some shit,
- 1:58:09essentially. I ain't going to do it all the
- 1:58:11time for that very reason. But that's what we used to do
- 1:58:13with Cryptic, because in the end it gets shut down by the
- 1:58:16recording industry. We.
- 1:58:18I mean, I. Mean for folks who?
- 1:58:20Don't change the law to exempt Internet radio from the loophole
- 1:58:24of playing music as a broadcast station.
- 1:58:26As long as you had your broadcaster's license, which
- 1:58:28they did. Right now they said you actually
- 1:58:31have to license the specific music it used to be.
- 1:58:35If you're a broadcaster, you can play music in the good of, like,
- 1:58:39the public interest of collectively, what people like
- 1:58:42in terms of art. That's how it was decided in
- 1:58:44Congress and shit, right? But Internet changed the game
- 1:58:49'cause now people could just do pirate radio pretty easily with
- 1:58:52the click of a button. So they changed the law and
- 1:58:55basically outlawed it. And it's called the DMCA and it
- 1:58:58fucking sucks and everybody's still complaining about it.
- 1:59:01That's basically one of the things that brought it there.
- 1:59:04Also Napster and like Kazaa and Limewire and that kind of shit,
- 1:59:08which is where we used to get a lot of our legitimate music too.
- 1:59:12I was talking about this on the radio last night.
- 1:59:16Like, my friends would use that. And they're artists.
- 1:59:18Like they're sending me their files that way, 'cause it was
- 1:59:20just easy. And plus, if you can get people
- 1:59:22to find your shit on Kazaa legally, they might buy one of
- 1:59:26your albums there. There are some there.
- 1:59:29Are. Some how Spotify and iTunes were
- 1:59:31born because it turns out the piracy problem is just a
- 1:59:34convenience thing for the most part.
- 1:59:37Some people will pirate anyway, just because they can.
- 1:59:40And I don't blame, like. I don't blame people in today's
- 1:59:43day and age where they're dipping their hands in your
- 1:59:45pocket in every way imaginable and they just come out with, you
- 1:59:49know, a poop stain because they stuck their finger in your butt
- 1:59:51hole while they were there. I got to get my vulgarity and
- 1:59:56you know, it's like over now. Somebody said the language was
- 2:00:00atrocious. I guess they didn't hear like
- 2:00:04the bit about like. Obama fucking the guy on cocaine
- 2:00:07where I went into excruciating detail about it.
- 2:00:14Not that I even necessarily believe that it happened.
- 2:00:17Wait, just to watch people squirm.
- 2:00:20Wait, wait, wait, Someone in our chat like, complained?
- 2:00:24Yeah, like a few weeks ago. I don't think there was like a
- 2:00:26regular. It was somebody I've never seen
- 2:00:28before, but they said. They said your guest is
- 2:00:31atrocious and I was like, fuck, I'm sorry, I'm a motherfuking, I
- 2:00:35don't know where's ever. And then you were like, yeah,
- 2:00:37fuck. Oh yeah.
- 2:00:39Oh yeah, that's right. Well, yeah, if they if they were
- 2:00:42upset with your atrocious language, they would be upset
- 2:00:45with like, my horny post in there.
- 2:00:48Yeah. I'm with that.
- 2:00:49I'm like Sam the wrestling girl. Does AEW have any like actual
- 2:00:56wrestler women? Or is it just tits and ass?
- 2:01:01I've never seen y'all post anything that isn't tits and ass
- 2:01:04wrestlers. None of them look like
- 2:01:05legitimate athletes in any way. They look like underwear.
- 2:01:09They look like Divas from back in the day.
- 2:01:13You say what you want about Charlotte Flair.
- 2:01:14She looks like a fucking athlete.
- 2:01:16She works on her fucking body. You're not a muscular person.
- 2:01:21Me either. I'm not even rating her
- 2:01:22attractiveness, but I'm saying she looks like somebody who
- 2:01:25could probably kick your ass, let alone another. 1 Same thing,
- 2:01:29right? Yeah.
- 2:01:30Well, Gina, what's? And Jade Cargill, I guess was
- 2:01:33the one that they had, but she was just on like smack down.
- 2:01:37Well, well, Gina. Well, Gina Carano.
- 2:01:41But I mean, she's out of the industry altogether, Toronto
- 2:01:45wrestled. I didn't know that.
- 2:01:48She I thought she was an actress.
- 2:01:51Gina Carano was like in MMA for, like, a long time.
- 2:01:57Boss, look, you guys should OK, but like on a week to week basis
- 2:02:00all you guys talk about is Velvet Sky and like I've watched
- 2:02:05or whatever. What's her name?
- 2:02:06Blue. Is it Blue Pants?
- 2:02:08Is she blue pants from NXT? Is that why she's blue?
- 2:02:12Sky. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:02:15OK then, I know who she is and she's like, Nah.
- 2:02:20Yeah. I know as a wrestler, I'm just
- 2:02:23purely judging her wrestling. Yeah, I know she's it's Matt.
- 2:02:28Yeah, not only into it cause 'cause, 'cause if it was, if it
- 2:02:30were wrestling you, cared about, you wouldn't care about her
- 2:02:33turning evil. And be like yes, be my evil
- 2:02:36mommy you. Sick fox I have.
- 2:02:42You know I'm in a damn Mr. Sir, and that is a sin.
- 2:02:46And you're dirty. And you should.
- 2:02:48You should go prey upon your fucking sins between you and
- 2:02:52Jesus. Amen.
- 2:02:57You want her to be your goth mommy?
- 2:02:59Yeah, I get you, 'cause you think she's hot.
- 2:03:02There's no and you can't. You can't.
- 2:03:05Is there anything else other than that, You dirty
- 2:03:09motherfuckers. Jesus is watching you and he's
- 2:03:15he's rubbing his fucking words, shaking his finger in shame.
- 2:03:24Blue sky, velvet sky. It's the skies that are always
- 2:03:27the one that, like, show their ass on the bottom rope, ain't
- 2:03:30it? Yeah, I I, I I had a whole What
- 2:03:37happened to Wendy Richter? You know what Wendy Richter look
- 2:03:40like? She'd eat all that motherfucking
- 2:03:42bitches for breakfast, don't she?
- 2:03:44Fabulous Mueller. Probably could.
- 2:03:46For real. Legit.
- 2:03:49You know what I'm saying? And then and you're not even
- 2:03:51allowed to talk about her because she because her female
- 2:03:55wrestlers were also doing another job on the side and they
- 2:03:59make her out to be the devil because of it.
- 2:04:01But that's just how the industry was like showbiz is all like
- 2:04:04that. And you think wrestling's not
- 2:04:05showbiz? Well, here's here's the thing.
- 2:04:09Is product of her time. She'd be like, yes, I have some
- 2:04:12girls and if you get them on the car they can do favors for the
- 2:04:14boys. Yeah, that's how it was.
- 2:04:17It was like that. I actually don't.
- 2:04:19I don't think you can. The thing is, WWE has stripped
- 2:04:23her accomplishments, but Fabulous Moo was the champion
- 2:04:25for like 30 years. And it's for the same reason
- 2:04:27Bruno San Fran Martino was the champion forever.
- 2:04:31Because it was believable. Because she looked like she
- 2:04:34could actually fucking stretch these girls in real life if it
- 2:04:37was a fight. Yeah.
- 2:04:40She could be trained, all of them, anyway.
- 2:04:42And she And even when she got old, she could probably still
- 2:04:44kick your ass like a Stu Hart kind of thing.
- 2:04:47Yeah, so Gina, Gina Carano. Her thing was, she was in MMA
- 2:04:53and then transitioned to acting. Yeah, but I'm talking about the
- 2:04:58shit you guys share. No, no, no.
- 2:05:00I feel interested in the AW Women's division.
- 2:05:02All right. Like, let's take Blue Sky off
- 2:05:04the table, because that one's obvious.
- 2:05:06Name me a woman in the AW Women's division that's having
- 2:05:10great matches and that's what you're there.
- 2:05:12For. I'll wait.
- 2:05:17Tony Storm from the clips I've seen is actually matches or or
- 2:05:23her new persona where she's like a silent movie star and acting
- 2:05:27all hot and and you sharing pictures of her like rubbing
- 2:05:31something on her ass in front of the commentator.
- 2:05:33Yeah, you're going to tell me, Sam, with a straight face that
- 2:05:37you're sharing pictures of her rubbing her panties because you
- 2:05:40think she's such a good fucking wrestler.
- 2:05:45That's, hey, that's not me that does that, that that's well,
- 2:05:49Jen's fucking replies, talking about I I I wouldn't even be
- 2:05:53able to concentrate if she put her panties in front of me at
- 2:05:56commentary. And you're going to sit here
- 2:05:58with straight face, Mr. Whitfield.
- 2:06:04You're going to see her with a straight face and tell me that
- 2:06:06you shared that clip and engaged in the conversation about it
- 2:06:11because you think she's a really good.
- 2:06:13Female. Wrestler.
- 2:06:17No, that that's not. That's not why I shared it,
- 2:06:20obviously. But obviously that's what I'm
- 2:06:25saying. Y'all need a Jesus or something.
- 2:06:29Well, bless your little hearts, man.
- 2:06:32Horny for the wrestling chicks. I honestly as big a wrestling
- 2:06:36fan as I was. Growing up after about Sunny, I
- 2:06:40was over it. And you know what?
- 2:06:42Sonny proves the point. She just got like 26 years.
- 2:06:46Here's here's the Here's the thing, though.
- 2:06:49The woke, the woke mob killed the killed the model, the
- 2:06:54modeling industry. So now all the hot chicks have
- 2:06:58to go into wrestling. That was what, like the TNA
- 2:07:01Knockouts division was. And then a lot of them bitches
- 2:07:03learned to wrestle. Actually, yeah.
- 2:07:06But yeah, people started out sucking and they were just like
- 2:07:10they their whole gimmick. And I That's why I didn't really
- 2:07:13like it at first. Was to shake their little booty
- 2:07:15on the at the fucking ring ropes, right?
- 2:07:17That's. Why?
- 2:07:18It's dumb, but they ended up being good wrestlers and good
- 2:07:21heels and shit and I'll give them their view.
- 2:07:24They weren't just pretty chicks, but all y'all is sharing is
- 2:07:28panty shots of Blue Sky and Tony Storm.
- 2:07:32And you ain't appreciate, you know, wrestling.
- 2:07:35I've seen. But Hart and Shawn Michaels go
- 2:07:38at it for an hour and it doesn't look like slapping your ass in
- 2:07:41front of the commentator, my friend.
- 2:07:46Maybe you're thigh. Maybe Shawn does a little too
- 2:07:49much of that. You're not.
- 2:07:51You're not RAW. What's the called the fuck out
- 2:07:55by a minister, no less? You should say some Hail Marys
- 2:08:01or something. Uh.
- 2:08:03Oh, oh. I forgiveness.
- 2:08:05Oh, I I do. Oh, I do.
- 2:08:09But it's it's not Even so much for that.
- 2:08:12I, my wife, just came in and said not.
- 2:08:16She's been listening to a couple minutes and she said not those
- 2:08:18kind of Hail Marys and the ones with five knuckles.
- 2:08:25No, I I I added that part to be fair.
- 2:08:29I'm vulgar, ladies and gentlemen.
- 2:08:33Well, well, we both are that. That's that's what she meant,
- 2:08:38though. That's the whole thing.
- 2:08:39I just put it in the most vulgar way possible.
- 2:08:43Yes. So that's why I make the big
- 2:08:46bucks here on the Whitfield report, ladies and gentlemen.
- 2:08:48Well. Listen, we did have a.
- 2:08:51We did have a. We did have a president.
- 2:08:53We actually did have a president.
- 2:08:55Who? Said I like to grab them women
- 2:09:00by the pussy, which finally, which my only problem with that
- 2:09:04no, he didn't say I like to. He said they'd let you.
- 2:09:08They want. You.
- 2:09:09To which he's not wrong. Yeah, he was.
- 2:09:12Just talking about hoes and if that's a crime then you got to
- 2:09:16put Esham in jail because I've been bumping $2.00 hoe for, you
- 2:09:20know, since I was a kid. There's just a certain type of
- 2:09:24girl and I'm kind of, I'm kind of convinced that this the kind
- 2:09:31of girl y'all are sharing that. I swear to God, Sam, I have seen
- 2:09:36a lot of shit in WWE that I consider trash TV.
- 2:09:40But that pony Storm, That was Tony Storm rolling on the desk,
- 2:09:43right? Yes.
- 2:09:45What did she do exactly? Described the scene for us.
- 2:09:49My wife's listening, by the way. No pressure.
- 2:09:55I mean, I could just pull the clip up.
- 2:09:57That would be. That would be, no.
- 2:09:59But it's better if you describe it first.
- 2:10:03I think the audience, hey, we have audio listeners, you know,
- 2:10:06people. People up there, you know, you
- 2:10:08got to give it to them. That's true.
- 2:10:11Well, shit, now I'm such an asshole.
- 2:10:18No, first, First off, I'm not. I'm I'm the I'm the reply guy.
- 2:10:23It's it's Nashville. Who's like Mr. Black
- 2:10:27Conservative. Oh, you're not always just the
- 2:10:30reply guy on the Simpy wrestling post.
- 2:10:32Don't give me that either. I've seen it, Sam.
- 2:10:36We've all seen it. The people that watch this show
- 2:10:39follow you on Twitter. They've all seen it, the
- 2:10:44Thurston and then and then and you're all thirst and then
- 2:10:47you're all like, well, I'm not the thirsty one, I'm actually,
- 2:10:50I'm shaming him for thirsty and it's the circle.
- 2:10:53And so you all cover each other that way.
- 2:10:56But really, it's. Just the first trap circle for
- 2:10:59wrestling bitches, which are actually really kind of probably
- 2:11:03low on the tonal pole in terms of like what you'd want to make
- 2:11:07an actual wife. If you think about it for five
- 2:11:10seconds, I'm sorry to say, but there's probably a lot of
- 2:11:13sleeping your way to top in the wrestling business, particularly
- 2:11:17probably in the indie wrestling business, if you you know what I
- 2:11:20mean? But even Vince McMahon just paid
- 2:11:22off some bitches. That's why they, like, pushed
- 2:11:24him out for a while or whatever, right?
- 2:11:25So like, all I'm saying is maybe you don't want a wrestling
- 2:11:31girlfriend, 'cause they might be Tammy Lynn Sitch.
- 2:11:35Well, well, a lot of them have. A lot of them have issues too.
- 2:11:39Or like Miss Elizabeth Right, the wholesome Miss Elizabeth
- 2:11:42that died of a drug overdose. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:11:47Or like these girls, even the ones you think are probably
- 2:11:50decent, that have banged like every wrestling guy you know.
- 2:11:53And if that turns you on, by the way, if that's a plus, you're
- 2:11:57what they call if there's a medical term for that, a cock.
- 2:12:02Yeah, which I which I'm not. I'm not one of those.
- 2:12:05Right, Right. So I'm saying like, yeah, I get
- 2:12:08it. You think they're hot.
- 2:12:09I'm just pointing out, I mentioned don't meet girls at a
- 2:12:13wrestling show. I've said this before and
- 2:12:16everybody kind of agreed with me.
- 2:12:17I think you guys missed also that like it means the wrestler
- 2:12:20or women too. Yeah.
- 2:12:23No, I they are not wife material.
- 2:12:25I actually did get that part of the memo every once in a while,
- 2:12:30but probably only two like either A either it's this one
- 2:12:34rare like AJ and and CM Punk where they just say married
- 2:12:38forever because they're both a couple like nerds, or they have
- 2:12:43like some horrible public breakup and then it's like ultra
- 2:12:46embarrassing because they were in the public eye as like a team
- 2:12:49in wrestling like Macho Man and Elizabeth.
- 2:12:53Yeah, either way, probably want to avoid wrestling girls,
- 2:12:59because it's especially indie shows.
- 2:13:01If you guys go to indie shows, you could probably fuck the
- 2:13:05wrestling bitches, but it'd probably cost you money.
- 2:13:08Avoid avoid rocker chicks and you probably walk away with it
- 2:13:12with like 3 or 4 STD. 'S avoid avoid rocker chicks.
- 2:13:18But but like, ladies, don't think I'm just picking on the
- 2:13:21wrestling women. Because at the indie show, all
- 2:13:23the guys have STD's too, because they all fuck each other because
- 2:13:29they're like weirdos, you know what I mean?
- 2:13:32So, like, yeah, remember that at the next indie show when you're
- 2:13:37cheering this show, the the the big stud in the second match is
- 2:13:44banging the bitch you're cheering for, you know?
- 2:13:47This show went way off the rails from Thanksgiving to no, no, you
- 2:13:50brought up the same posts and I had to, you know, point it out.
- 2:13:55Yeah, but. In the name of Jesus, we pray
- 2:13:56for your soul, Sir Samuel. Well, well, Amen.
- 2:14:04And especially Mr. Nash, you will.
- 2:14:08And don't think I don't see you, Morpheus, you you're the you're
- 2:14:11the most guilty of the of the like.
- 2:14:14I'm the Bunk Police, but actually a bit pervy.
- 2:14:20Of all three of them, 'cause you do the Bunk Police the most, but
- 2:14:24you simped the hardest. I see you.
- 2:14:29You're like a pack of the little little den of horny thieves
- 2:14:33stealing panty shots of Tony Storm.
- 2:14:36Instead of wrestling, you're supposed to be watching
- 2:14:38wrestling. Wholesome.
- 2:14:41You know, whatever happened to handsome Jimmy Valiant Sam?
- 2:14:47Who? The Iron Sheik and Hulk Hogan.
- 2:14:51Oh yeah. Well, the Hulk.
- 2:14:53Well, Hulk got, like, cancelled. Yeah, but he's been back.
- 2:14:59Like, WWE's had him on a bunch of shit.
- 2:15:03And then he he went on Joe Rogan and just lied to his teeth.
- 2:15:06But Joe Rogan believed every word of it because it was Hulk
- 2:15:08Hogan. And look, he might lie, OK?
- 2:15:12He might lie about fucking everything, and he might say
- 2:15:15shit just to impress the person he's in front of.
- 2:15:19Well, he's entertaining. Still doing that, so I don't
- 2:15:22care. I do believe well, well, Jesse
- 2:15:25Ventura called Hulk a liar. And I I believe, no, Hulk is a
- 2:15:30liar. That's.
- 2:15:30Like like he says shit, he was. If you look at the Joe Rogan
- 2:15:34interview, he says things that are absolutely like impossible.
- 2:15:40Like he said he gained time by flying between Japan and America
- 2:15:45so often in the year that he wrestled like 400 time, 400 days
- 2:15:49in a year because of the time difference.
- 2:15:54Yeah, brother Hulk Rogan, but you know what?
- 2:15:57That makes him like the ultimate salesman.
- 2:15:59He's like a modern day PT Barnum, right?
- 2:16:01You got to respect the hustle. Like he's out there, like, yeah,
- 2:16:03brother. And we did it in front of on
- 2:16:05teen trillion dollar fans and we raised all the money in the
- 2:16:09world. And then I cured cancer and me
- 2:16:11and Andre the Giant rode off into the spotlight playing bass
- 2:16:14for Metallica. It was awesome, dude.
- 2:16:18I I feel like that bitch Linda fucked it all up.
- 2:16:23I feel like ABA the fucking Love Sponge.
- 2:16:26Imagine the fact though, like he's kind of uncancelled, but
- 2:16:30the fact that he got cancelled is all because of a gay op by
- 2:16:35Bubba the Love Sponge. And that's why he took Gawker
- 2:16:40down, because they couldn't help but do like a like a discord
- 2:16:45troll level up on him on Hulk Hogan.
- 2:16:49We'll get my we'll get my wife to catfish him and see what he
- 2:16:52says and then we'll share the sex tape and and oh, he said
- 2:16:57racist things. He said the N word.
- 2:17:04What about Speaking of bad websites?
- 2:17:07What about, hey, all the black wrestlers have still had them
- 2:17:09him on their podcast and not even because they have like a
- 2:17:12contract with WWE. Like neither side works with WWE
- 2:17:16at this point. And they'll still have, like,
- 2:17:18Booker G's had him on the talk a bunch of times.
- 2:17:20I think Mark Henry had him on his podcast.
- 2:17:23If he's such a rabid, evil racist, why would those guys
- 2:17:26consider him a friend of any variety?
- 2:17:28You know what I mean? Well, well, that's, that's.
- 2:17:31But he is a liar. But he was a good liar when I
- 2:17:35was a kid, 'cause he encouraged me to drink my milk and take my,
- 2:17:38I mean, vitamins. Yeah, what do you what do you
- 2:17:44think of? What do you think's in the My
- 2:17:46wife's giving me a dirty. Like, what do you think was in
- 2:17:48the vitamins? This isn't a secret.
- 2:17:50He said this shit in court. He sued Vince McMahon over it
- 2:17:54and Vince won like a true pimp Don boss 'cause he probably was
- 2:17:59giving them all fucking steroids by the looks of things.
- 2:18:02But I was like 8 in The Ultimate Warrior was fucking awesome.
- 2:18:09And if it's and and here's the conceit, like think about this.
- 2:18:13If it's all fake, which like they basically openly, blatantly
- 2:18:16slap you in the face with now, then why not steroids?
- 2:18:22Besides the fact they're illegal.
- 2:18:23But a lot of these guys get prescriptions for testosterone
- 2:18:26shit, so why not? I get it with.
- 2:18:30I get it with wrestling and baseball and like legitimate
- 2:18:33competition. But since you want to slap me in
- 2:18:35the face with the fact that you're not legitimate
- 2:18:37competition, even though, like part of the enjoyment of
- 2:18:40wrestling is having to at least for a momentarily suspend your
- 2:18:43disbelief that Amy, this shit's real because otherwise you're
- 2:18:46not going to have any fun with it.
- 2:18:48And the cynical nerds don't have any fun with it.
- 2:18:51And and you could tell because AW doesn't sell any fucking
- 2:18:54tickets, the nerds watch it on TV and then they're like who did
- 2:18:58Dave Meltzer give it 4.5 stars? Oh then it's not any good.
- 2:19:03Dave Meltzer has not given Kurt Angle Kurt Fucking Angle A5 Star
- 2:19:11match. You know who else Dave Meltzer's
- 2:19:12never given a 5 star match to? Eddie Guerrero.
- 2:19:17Chris Benoit. Rey Mysterio?
- 2:19:20Well. Chris Benoit is dead.
- 2:19:23Shawn Michaels. Like, if the if I name the
- 2:19:27people he never given five stars to, you're like, how is that
- 2:19:32even possible? But he's given like 14 of them
- 2:19:35to Kenny Omega. So you're telling me Kenny Omega
- 2:19:40is better than like, Ric Flair, Ricky the Dragon, Steamboat
- 2:19:45Macho Man, Randy Savage? I'm not even talking about,
- 2:19:49like, Hogan. Yeah, Hogan sold the most
- 2:19:50tickets, but he wasn't like a work rate guy, right?
- 2:19:52Like, I'm talking about good wrestlers.
- 2:19:56Actual in the ring. Brat Hart.
- 2:19:58Kenny Omega. Is that much better than Bret
- 2:20:00Hart? You're fucking kidding me,
- 2:20:02right? Like, AAW fans buy that shit.
- 2:20:07They tell that to themselves. I'm not even shitting on Kenny
- 2:20:10Omega. But Bret Hart is Bret Hart.
- 2:20:13Yeah, you watch a Bret. Hart, Matt.
- 2:20:15Go back now if you got the fucking Peacock, which I do,
- 2:20:18because hey, man, yeah, I'm. I'm going to watch goddamn LA
- 2:20:23night. Yeah, Oh yeah, you have crowds,
- 2:20:28so you have you have Peacock, right?
- 2:20:30And you're. Watching Tony Storm slap her
- 2:20:31ass. I'm just saying, yeah, of
- 2:20:33course. So I have to ask, how was
- 2:20:36Mircha's thing? I didn't watch that shit.
- 2:20:39Why would I watch? Teddy Hart is just a lowlife
- 2:20:42druggie that might have killed a bitch.
- 2:20:45I know the story, you know, It's purely speculation.
- 2:20:50You know, I get that. And so merch is there.
- 2:20:53Why? What did he meet him on?
- 2:20:54Like an opening Anthony podcast while he was like jerking
- 2:20:58himself off to the thought of Anthony asking him an actual
- 2:21:01question instead of just salt Calling him, you know, caller
- 2:21:05merch. Now he's Hollywood merch.
- 2:21:07Of course. Give me a fucking break.
- 2:21:09No, I'm not going to watch the merch documentary.
- 2:21:12God, I have a much better thing. I would watch a fucking 20 hour
- 2:21:16documentary on Chris Chan. Before I would watch her merch
- 2:21:19documentary or even the clip. Like, I wouldn't even search out
- 2:21:22the clips of it. Oh, I'll watch LA Night and I'm
- 2:21:28actually rooting for him to beat Roman Reigns, even though it
- 2:21:31kind of doesn't make logical sense.
- 2:21:33But he's just kind of cool. He looks like a wrestler.
- 2:21:36Yeah. You know, and he doesn't give a
- 2:21:39fuck. And that's all it really takes.
- 2:21:42People aren't as fucking fickle. At least WWE fans aren't.
- 2:21:46I don't know. I guess Kenny Olivier over there
- 2:21:49has to give a 5 star Grammy performance every time he steps
- 2:21:52in the fucking ring. But I'm pretty hyped to see LA
- 2:21:55night like do his shitty blunt force trauma, not quite a
- 2:21:59fucking cutter finish on Roman's big ass and actually break the
- 2:22:03streak and surprise everybody. And also it's, you know, there's
- 2:22:08a lot of intrigue as to whether CM Punk, who is now a free
- 2:22:13agent, could show up at. Survivor Series in Chicago and
- 2:22:18look, if I'm Triple HI, probably would want to at least try to
- 2:22:25make that happen. And you know what, Seth?
- 2:22:28Seth Rawl is something interesting that caught my
- 2:22:30attention all raw, 'cause he said Cry me a river, which is
- 2:22:34exactly the line that got CM Punk fired, 'cause he ain't got
- 2:22:36in a fight with it over that fucking kid there, Jungle gym,
- 2:22:42jungle boy. And they're saying it on RAW.
- 2:22:45So at the very least they're fucking with you, whether it's
- 2:22:48going to happen or not. And then Dave Elser, once again
- 2:22:50was like, it's not going to happen, They'll never have a
- 2:22:55Mac. And I'm like, yeah, or they told
- 2:22:57you that to get you to say that. So people are guessing because
- 2:23:03this is more of a surprise that way if people have different
- 2:23:06theories and shit and it's good for engagement even if he
- 2:23:09doesn't show up, you dumb fuck yeah.
- 2:23:13If you believe it, if you think he's going to show up or you
- 2:23:15think it don't, it don't fucking matter.
- 2:23:17I'm going to enjoy LA night stomping a mud hole in fucking
- 2:23:23Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia in front of the rabid Jew, Jew
- 2:23:27hating fans. Oh, I wonder is that is that
- 2:23:32actually they might chant something anti-Semitic in Saudi
- 2:23:36Arabia? But the.
- 2:23:41But the Crown Prince is very. Proud of Crown Jewel and he's
- 2:23:44been trying to use it as a vehicle to showcase how much
- 2:23:47more progressive Saudi Arabia is become.
- 2:23:50So maybe he'll like if you chanted something that was bad
- 2:23:54optics he might have you killed is a possibility.
- 2:23:58Probably. Being particular about who gets
- 2:24:00let into the event now that I think about it like they did
- 2:24:03after Jamal Khashoggi got murdered.
- 2:24:08Yeah, Which, by the way, was brought to you by Obama.
- 2:24:12Yeah, And then they held the fucking, they held the wrestlers
- 2:24:16in the fucking plane hostage for a little bit, just to make sure
- 2:24:21that everybody was accounted for or whatever.
- 2:24:23But they were scared shitless. I, I I would imagine, I don't
- 2:24:28know. I, I can't think off the top of
- 2:24:30my head, you know, anybody who specifically said anything but
- 2:24:33they were like on an airport runway being told you can't
- 2:24:37leave Iran by order of the Crown Prince.
- 2:24:39He's upset. Yeah, that's the price of doing
- 2:24:44business in Saudi Arabia. I mean, I said Iran.
- 2:24:49Maybe they should. They might as well do Iran.
- 2:24:53The events would have well the amount of money Saudi Arabia
- 2:24:56threw at him. How could he say no though for
- 2:24:59like 2 shows a year? I mean, I would.
- 2:25:04Yeah, sure, I'll make Goldberg fight the That was an awful
- 2:25:08match. Right Goldberg.
- 2:25:09Undertaker. It was like the worst match I
- 2:25:12can imagine, 'cause they just fucking were old and like
- 2:25:15concussed the shit out of, well, Goldberg, I think was concussed
- 2:25:19at the beginning of the match. Why did that happen?
- 2:25:24Why did that travesty that could have killed both of them happen?
- 2:25:26Because the Crown Prince wanted to see Goldberg versus the
- 2:25:29Undertaker. He thought that was cool and he
- 2:25:33paid a lot of money to both of them to fucking make it happen,
- 2:25:36'cause he's got all the money, you know?
- 2:25:41Yeah, yeah. I imagine that might be hard to
- 2:25:45say no to right? Especially for a noted, like,
- 2:25:50money hungry guy like Vince McMahon.
- 2:25:54Yeah, pal, we'll get you. They've had all kinds of crazy
- 2:26:02fucking, you know, old people and treated them in legitimate
- 2:26:06matches over there. Now they think they had Shawn
- 2:26:08Michaels come out of retirement. I never thought I'd see that
- 2:26:12'cause he was. He was out for so long and then
- 2:26:14it was awful and I wish I didn't see it.
- 2:26:20Thanks. Saudi Arabia, our true greatest
- 2:26:24ally with bad wrestling television sometimes.
- 2:26:27What if the NFL, like, went over to Saudi Arabia for talking?
- 2:26:32That's the kind of thing they would court, though, because the
- 2:26:35Crown Prince, he likes wrestling, but he's also a
- 2:26:37sports guy and like a gambling guy.
- 2:26:39If anybody knows anything about him, he's actually kind of
- 2:26:43popular in the hacker world because he used to do bounties
- 2:26:47for people to do work for hacking for him, and you can
- 2:26:50imagine what that might entail. Well, like he was always
- 2:26:53generous and and like upfront with everybody he was soliciting
- 2:26:57on the old technology forums on like IR, CS and shit.
- 2:27:02For a champion. Y'all the Crown Prince looks for
- 2:27:07work and if you're exceptional and he pays you good, good
- 2:27:10money, you just got to be OK, I guess, with being a part of the
- 2:27:14war machine. That's like kills the journalist
- 2:27:17or whatever. Little bit of a downside.
- 2:27:23Moral dilemma? Well, it seems like a lot of
- 2:27:26people in. That's why he pays really well,
- 2:27:29you know? Well, it seems like a lot of our
- 2:27:32people in the defense industry always love this guy then.
- 2:27:37They do. They're like, that's the
- 2:27:39problem, that that's why it's so weird.
- 2:27:41The Biden's like step into Saudi Arabia.
- 2:27:47It's like the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
- 2:27:49They're like one of the few stable.
- 2:27:50Like, yeah, OK, they're a Muslim country.
- 2:27:52You could make the argument from like a Democrat point of view
- 2:27:54that they're kind of harsh on women over there.
- 2:27:56But like the point of the Saudi Arabia WWE event, one of the
- 2:27:59things is they let women wrestle to be like, hey, we're like not
- 2:28:03completely retarded about what you guys want in society.
- 2:28:08We've now let women drive and if it's an emergency they can go
- 2:28:13out without a man present. And I'm I kind of like as much
- 2:28:19as, Yeah, that might sound silly, like I'm making a joke.
- 2:28:22That's kind of true, actually, yeah.
- 2:28:25And I feel like that might be a step in the right direction to
- 2:28:29some degree. But then the problem is we see
- 2:28:31if you give women too many rights like we did, you end up
- 2:28:34in our situation, which is. Fucked.
- 2:28:39So I hope your wife's not the same.
- 2:28:41Wait. I I.
- 2:28:42Hope sitting right there. She's heard me say worse, I'm
- 2:28:46sure she just rolls her eyes or she puts her headphones on.
- 2:28:51She nodded to that. So she clearly doesn't just have
- 2:28:54her headphones on. So I don't.
- 2:28:56So I don't. Because see, the one thing I
- 2:28:59worry about is like, am I going to witness a murder on the show?
- 2:29:04No, no, she wouldn't do it with the camera on eventually,
- 2:29:09though. Just not on stream, yeah.
- 2:29:14And now she's looking at me like she's going to kill me.
- 2:29:18So, like, as if prophecy, you know, we can see, like if if I
- 2:29:22have to, if I have to explain to poor Shmuley that, like, your
- 2:29:29wife killed you, well then he's just going to be sad.
- 2:29:33He's too busy with mono or whatever.
- 2:29:37Strap. Strap.
- 2:29:39Oh, sorry. Strap.
- 2:29:41Yeah, Mono's a different thing. Yeah, I forgot about that this
- 2:29:46week. This week it's strap.
- 2:29:49No, next week it'll be. I'm not going to say what My
- 2:29:58wife said. I was going to make it a brain
- 2:30:01disease, but she said something else I was going to say like
- 2:30:08like. Cranium.
- 2:30:11Shrinkus or something, you know? And she said her.
- 2:30:14I mean, nevermind. Well, well, next week it'll be
- 2:30:19ego shrinkage. Maybe, maybe not.
- 2:30:27No, not if he overcomes the cold.
- 2:30:29Not if he's a good, devout follower of Marcus Aurelius.
- 2:30:33No, no then then then. Christ you.
- 2:30:40Didn't even get right with Sam. I'm telling you, you need to
- 2:30:44appreciate women's wrestling for wrestling and working and
- 2:30:51staying with these girls in your mind.
- 2:30:53It's bad for the soul. See.
- 2:30:58See out. Not Simp.
- 2:31:02See, you see, you said women's wrestling, but you you giggle
- 2:31:05the Beatle afterwards, so you know, it's just that much of a
- 2:31:08joke. Yeah, as much as I do.
- 2:31:12Yeah, yeah, That's why. Like nobody's watching.
- 2:31:15Y'all are and and this is how I know how bad, down, bad the
- 2:31:19three of you are, is. You're all about that blue sky.
- 2:31:21Let's go back to that because there's more to it.
- 2:31:24OK? You're all about that blue sky.
- 2:31:26So much so. That you watch.
- 2:31:28Fucking AEW rampage with the other 47 people.
- 2:31:37Fucking Rampage program like I can even get watching dynamite.
- 2:31:42Maybe even MJF. You ain't seeing MJF the
- 2:31:47champion on fucking rampage. You're saying you're seeing
- 2:31:52jobber crew versus Mexican wrestling team and then you're
- 2:31:59looking at fucking blue skies, ass.
- 2:32:03Tell me when I'm telling a lie, Sam.
- 2:32:07And that's why all. 30. Seven of you watch AEW Rampage
- 2:32:13is rampaging boners, The Blue Sky and Tony Storm Peak Women's
- 2:32:21wrestling slapping their ass in the camera on purpose, letting
- 2:32:27the rope go up their little thong for your entertainment,
- 2:32:30and you're all cheering for her to turn into your evil goth
- 2:32:33mommy. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:32:38My wife didn't know that before. I just wanted to impress upon
- 2:32:41her that they're saying in their little trio.
- 2:32:45Hey, hey. Note my friend.
- 2:32:49Hey, at least at least I'm honest about it.
- 2:32:53And also Jesus hung out with prostitutes.
- 2:32:58Yeah, but not to, like, encourage them.
- 2:33:01He wasn't there. He wasn't there to to help act
- 2:33:03as like a fucking ad agency for them.
- 2:33:06You know, he wasn't a pimp. He didn't hang out with
- 2:33:10prostitutes to engage in their services if you the the.
- 2:33:19Word of God the the The Last Temptation of Christ would say
- 2:33:25otherwise. But, but you know, that's a
- 2:33:29movie. And made by people that aren't
- 2:33:32big fans of him. You cracked.
- 2:33:36Yeah, no, I'm just saying like, yes, you could definitely say
- 2:33:40that he hung out with prostitutes, but he wasn't like,
- 2:33:44yes, slap that ass, baby. Here, I'm going to put.
- 2:33:49I'm going to just for no reason at all.
- 2:33:51Right, Sam, stop me. Stop me when I'm telling a lie.
- 2:33:54This time, I got another one that'll make my wife fucking
- 2:33:57roll her eyes. For no reason at all, right?
- 2:34:00Here is a picture of usually Blue Sky's ass, right?
- 2:34:07And over here is a picture of Gunther with his.
- 2:34:11Hand in the air. About to slap They're just next
- 2:34:15to each other, lined up for no particular reason at all.
- 2:34:17Jess OK that that's that's Craig who's who's who's like a Marine
- 2:34:25and Marines are filthy so. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:34:38I'm just saying, you line up Gunther's ass, I'm sorry.
- 2:34:42His hand on the ass has a slapping thing, but we're
- 2:34:46supposed to pretend it's just a random thing?
- 2:34:48And hey, it's funny, the first time I laughed, I I popped.
- 2:34:51I did. I was like, ha ha, this slap.
- 2:34:53He's slapping the ass. Y'all do it like every day.
- 2:34:57I don't. Does the shit get well?
- 2:34:59OK, yeah, but like one of the people you like does.
- 2:35:02It's not always the same ones either.
- 2:35:05Y'all just find these creepy fucking pictures or or do you
- 2:35:09actually watch Rampage? Maybe.
- 2:35:11I assumed. Well, well, well, I don't
- 2:35:14because, well, I don't because Rampage is on, the is is on at
- 2:35:19the same time as this as this current show usually, in case
- 2:35:26you didn't do that. No, that is Wednesday, right?
- 2:35:30Dynamite's Wednesday rampage is Friday, and that's the one with
- 2:35:34the. Blue sky.
- 2:35:36'Cause that's where all the jobbers wrestle, and she's one
- 2:35:39of them. Or she's like among that pool of
- 2:35:43talent. Let's just say it's certainly
- 2:35:45not the A show or the B show. It's the T in A show, yeah.
- 2:35:55See what I did there? You.
- 2:35:58Guys are pervs. I'm shaming you.
- 2:36:03So is my so is my favorite comedian though.
- 2:36:08Norm MacDonald. Norm MacDonald HE.
- 2:36:11Was a happily married man Norm? No.
- 2:36:18At one point in time, Well, yeah, one.
- 2:36:23That's a Norm kind of joke, no? Yeah, well, you know.
- 2:36:29Maybe I botched the delivery, 'cause I don't keep his stone
- 2:36:32face as he does. Shmuley does it great.
- 2:36:35He's the best Shmuley, Will Shmuley's bit about like being
- 2:36:41in love with Laura Loomer is probably the best.
- 2:36:49I mean, what bit? Desperately in love with Laura
- 2:36:54Loomer. That's not a bit Sam and her.
- 2:37:00Who told you that was a bit? Oh, I, you know, actually.
- 2:37:08Well, I just assumed it was a bit.
- 2:37:10Maybe I I assume why are? You going to bring that up?
- 2:37:14He's going to listen to this. He's sick.
- 2:37:16You're going to bring up his heartache.
- 2:37:19I'm just never getting the chance to get with his dream
- 2:37:21girl, Laura Loomer, for all those years.
- 2:37:25Well, I mean, she might have slashes, tires.
- 2:37:29Yeah, and he was all set with that.
- 2:37:31He knew that's part of the package.
- 2:37:33That's kind of why he likes her, because she'll slashes tires and
- 2:37:40well, she also she'll also chain chain herself to to his fence
- 2:37:47post. Loyalty.
- 2:37:48You see what I mean? Commitment.
- 2:37:54Yeah. No, that's not a that's not a
- 2:37:56bit. And you know, because I said I'm
- 2:38:00not good at the Norm MacDonald thing and keeping a straight
- 2:38:03face. So you know, I'm telling the
- 2:38:04truth. You can leave me about me when
- 2:38:09it would behoove me to do otherwise.
- 2:38:15Is that a cigar you're smoking? Yep, based in in Rush Pilled.
- 2:38:24Yeah. Rush Pilled Based in Snoop
- 2:38:30Pilled. Oh, oh, it's one of the.
- 2:38:36It's one of those. I gotcha.
- 2:38:41Yup. Anyway, what else did we have in
- 2:38:46the news this week? Oh, the friends guy died.
- 2:38:53We didn't even talk about that in our mega show that no one
- 2:38:56will ever see. Yeah, did.
- 2:39:00Did he, Did he commit suicide or?
- 2:39:03No, no. Every report I've seen said
- 2:39:07essentially he had a heart attack and then he was found in
- 2:39:09the tub. Some differ on whether he was
- 2:39:11fucking drowned. I'm sure a coroner report will
- 2:39:13come out. The anti vaxxers are saying
- 2:39:16'cause he was very, very pro vax, that it was like a vaccine
- 2:39:19induced heart attack. I will point out that like,
- 2:39:23although you can say it was a possibility.
- 2:39:27The the other thing is, is he had to battle with drug
- 2:39:30addiction for many, many years and was in a middle-aged man.
- 2:39:34And so like often times they just have a heart attack too
- 2:39:38unrelated to COVID vaccines or anything.
- 2:39:40In fact, audience heart disease, regardless of COVID, is like the
- 2:39:45number one natural and avoidable killer of Americans in this
- 2:39:49country. Because we don't take care of
- 2:39:52ourselves. And it's getting worse all the
- 2:39:54time. And maybe COVID adds to it, but
- 2:39:57it was a big problem long before that.
- 2:40:00So it's just entirely possible that even though he was one of
- 2:40:03the biggest pro vax guys ever, and he was like, he was like,
- 2:40:07you got to kill me to get or I'd kill you to get the vaccine
- 2:40:12booster when it comes out. Or where he was, that he was
- 2:40:14like he had T-shirts he was selling about how proud he was
- 2:40:17to be Vax. Cool story bro, right?
- 2:40:21That's, I guess, his opinion. And then he was.
- 2:40:24Probably pro mandates I would assume.
- 2:40:27Yeah, but I just don't think it's fair to a lump it with
- 2:40:33that. And then to to make it political
- 2:40:35like that is a little bit of kind of gloating.
- 2:40:37And I just don't feel right with that.
- 2:40:39Unless it's John McCain. May he rot in hell.
- 2:40:43Yeah, I just don't think Matthew Perry rises to that level.
- 2:40:48Just 'cause he was a pro vax guy in Hollywood.
- 2:40:51They all were. And so even if Vivax did 'cause
- 2:40:54his like thing, I I just don't think gloating about.
- 2:40:56It's a good look then he have kids or whatever.
- 2:40:59Or or just he entertained people for I don't like friends.
- 2:41:03My wife fucking play that shit nonstop.
- 2:41:06A lot of people in the age group do, especially women.
- 2:41:09They really like the fucking show.
- 2:41:10I get it. I don't like it.
- 2:41:12Whatever. But the guy died and he
- 2:41:14entertained people really give a fuck how he was a weirdo about
- 2:41:19the almost, said the F slur. Again, not about the vaccine,
- 2:41:23'cause he's dead and he's got kids, and it's kind of just sad.
- 2:41:27Yeah, I I was never big into friends either.
- 2:41:30Not for me. But all the people that really
- 2:41:32like that show, right? It's sad for them.
- 2:41:35It's a part of their like growing up in a lot of cases,
- 2:41:38whatever. Yeah, And then I saw people
- 2:41:41saying, oh, don't feel bad for him because I guess his
- 2:41:45character was involved in a storyline that they called
- 2:41:47homophobia. And so I looked into that,
- 2:41:50because that didn't sound like the friends that I hear in the
- 2:41:52background all the time annoying the shit out of me.
- 2:41:55And turned out it's because his dad was like a gay cross dresser
- 2:42:00or something. He was uncomfortable when he
- 2:42:01found that out, which is a normal reaction.
- 2:42:04And then I guess he ended up accepting his dad for who he
- 2:42:07was. So that's what they want to
- 2:42:10cancel him over when he's already dead from a 25 year old
- 2:42:13bit that basically the end moral of the story was to accept his
- 2:42:18gay dad, right? Yeah, well, you know, they made
- 2:42:23jokes about it because that's how a lot of people deal with
- 2:42:26discomfortable subjects, you know?
- 2:42:28Well, you're you're not. You're not the last to joke
- 2:42:30about anything. Ever, Max.
- 2:42:32In case you didn't, South Park made some fucking jokes.
- 2:42:36Oh yeah, they did. I still have yet to watch that
- 2:42:40too. It's good.
- 2:42:44But yeah. Yeah, the the the Pandverse
- 2:42:48thing, just the clips that have gone around and upset everybody
- 2:42:52are good because almost every side doesn't take all the
- 2:42:56context. And then the other people who
- 2:42:58think they're real smart are like, yeah, they don't take
- 2:43:01either side. No, they take a side, but it's
- 2:43:03just not what you would think. And they go about it in their
- 2:43:05own way, 'cause that's how they are.
- 2:43:07They're special little snowflakes.
- 2:43:09Matt Parker and Trey's they are fucking.
- 2:43:15They tell their story their way and they usually do have a hot
- 2:43:18take on it, but they get there through comedy and it's no
- 2:43:21different. And they've made their point
- 2:43:24because Disney was like in panic mode at an investor meeting
- 2:43:26about it. And I'm sure they probably
- 2:43:31called Paramount to try and get them to fucking like, tone it
- 2:43:34down. That's what Disney would do.
- 2:43:37Disney's been censoring people forever.
- 2:43:40Yeah. Well, well, did you did you hear
- 2:43:43that that Disney's now, like, thinking about bringing back
- 2:43:46Iron Man? Is thinking of bringing back
- 2:43:49like Robert Downey Junior to save Marvel not going to
- 2:43:53nothing's good. It's not.
- 2:43:55They ran the superhero thing into the ground.
- 2:43:58No, no, that I yeah, they did. They they did.
- 2:44:01They can bring him back. I don't even.
- 2:44:04It might even boost sales. But the new one, I guess I
- 2:44:08heard, I heard just as it was coming out was the Marvels.
- 2:44:11Now is it my understanding based on the promotional art, but it's
- 2:44:14like alternate universe, diverse Captain Marvel's.
- 2:44:19Yes, that's the gayest thing I've ever heard.
- 2:44:23So they Yeah, they. So they talked about a
- 2:44:28Pandaverse. Yeah, they they they did like,
- 2:44:32so they did like the three Spider Man, right, for like that
- 2:44:35third Spider Man movie. Sure that they did, yeah.
- 2:44:40But the thing the difference is, is that those 3 Spider Man were
- 2:44:44all iconic in their own way to their.
- 2:44:47Right, right. Right.
- 2:44:48No. Yeah.
- 2:44:49And for the three of them, coming together, because Spider
- 2:44:52Man has those kind of stories, is not only possible, but kind
- 2:44:56of unique to Spider Man as a property that all that shit kind
- 2:45:00of lines up to allow that to happen and still be cool.
- 2:45:04And they want to do that for Brie Larson's character.
- 2:45:07Yeah, yeah, that, that. Yeah, that.
- 2:45:09That's what. That's literally their logic is
- 2:45:11hey it. Works, but also make the other
- 2:45:14Spider Man quote, UN quote in this case, diverse women of
- 2:45:18color and possibly sexual orientation.
- 2:45:23Is this what crowds are clamoring for?
- 2:45:26Disney says no. The stocks are going down,
- 2:45:30Caroline Kennedy and she says, and she says no, put a black
- 2:45:36woman in there and make her. Gay.
- 2:45:41They're literally doing that. I mean, it's a good meme for a
- 2:45:43reason, right? And that that's kind of the
- 2:45:47brilliance of what they've done here too, is you don't need to
- 2:45:50see the hour and a half special to know the joke, because
- 2:45:54everybody's laughing at Disney. Even the left laughs at Disney.
- 2:46:00Now it's a fucking joke of a company.
- 2:46:03They pander too hard for most, like normal gay people.
- 2:46:09Yeah, no, you you mentioned you mentioned the Harry Potter game
- 2:46:13earlier. Max and I I wanna, I wanna bring
- 2:46:17this up. Harry Potter The Harry Potter
- 2:46:21game is less gay than Spider Man 2.
- 2:46:26I bet. No, I was looking at just the
- 2:46:30combat looks fucking cool And so I'll play it for that reason.
- 2:46:34And plus I I'll, I'll give it this.
- 2:46:36It takes place in a different time frame and you don't start
- 2:46:40with like first grade baby shit magic.
- 2:46:43All right, that's cool. I'll.
- 2:46:45I'll see where it fucking gives me a world.
- 2:46:47Can I blow some shit up? And maybe even be an evil
- 2:46:50wizard? Maybe I'll be Voldemort or
- 2:46:54whatever, right? Yeah, that's kind of cool.
- 2:46:56I don't have to know the lore because it takes place before
- 2:46:59all that shit is kind of a cool concept.
- 2:47:02Bring in somebody that does not give a fuck about it.
- 2:47:04If you got decent wizardy combat, that could be fun, and
- 2:47:09it looks pretty cool. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:47:13No, that's the whole thing is it's is.
- 2:47:15It's is. Hogwarts legacy is its own
- 2:47:19thing, Yeah. I haven't.
- 2:47:22I haven't played it myself. But like, how do they play on
- 2:47:24the Steam deck? Hogwarts.
- 2:47:28Oh, amazing. Look nice.
- 2:47:30Oh yeah, yeah. Now it's locked to 30 frames on
- 2:47:34the Steam deck, but it it's that all everything to medium by
- 2:47:38default. Yeah, so yeah, I mean looks
- 2:47:43pretty good. I mean is it 800P screen?
- 2:47:46But it's also only like 7 inches or so.
- 2:47:50Yeah, When you're holding it in front of your face, it's got
- 2:47:55gyro controls. She didn't.
- 2:47:57Yeah, yeah. I mean on on a handheld 30P is
- 2:48:0130 FPS is pretty good. It's better than what Switch
- 2:48:05Switch could do by a lot. Yeah, I find like the Steam deck
- 2:48:10runs shit that like I thought like Steam deck runs Cyberpunk
- 2:48:13and it looks great again, it it kind of locks at 30.
- 2:48:16You can get it up to like 40 and then you can lock the screen
- 2:48:20refresh rate to 40 and it looks all right.
- 2:48:23But you give up some of like the fidelity for that.
- 2:48:27But you can run it just fine at 30.
- 2:48:29It's a powerful little piece of machine for like.
- 2:48:31Under 100 bucks now. Yeah, I don't.
- 2:48:36I don't get these. I don't get these gamers or like
- 2:48:38everything must be, I actually emulate Switch games on it.
- 2:48:44I don't. I don't get these gamers or like
- 2:48:45everything must be 60 FPS. Well, it's it depends.
- 2:48:51I actually like she'll play the 30 lock games.
- 2:48:55I tend to shoot for 40. I find I do prefer 60.
- 2:49:02It is. It is a it was a deal breaker
- 2:49:04with Starfield. Why I didn't play it on my
- 2:49:06Xbox's 30 lock because it makes me sick because I'm trained.
- 2:49:11My eyes are trained and I get motion sick, and my eyes are
- 2:49:13trained for 60 because I've been playing 60 on PC since the 80s.
- 2:49:19Like even those old DOS games ran at 60 frames per second.
- 2:49:21I'm used to looking at 60 frames per second.
- 2:49:24Yeah, that, yeah, that makes sense.
- 2:49:26That makes sense. Whereas like Brits, most of
- 2:49:30their shit, especially in the 90s, the PAL stuff, was 50
- 2:49:33frames per second. Kind of like a weird tech fact.
- 2:49:38And then so they're probably more used to that.
- 2:49:42And console gamers play a lot of games the last couple
- 2:49:45generations at 30 frames per second, which is actually
- 2:49:47unusual because the Super Nintendo output at 60, then the
- 2:49:51NES output at 60, Atari output at 60.
- 2:49:54So it's like, not that is a new hardware thing.
- 2:49:57And I get it because they're pushing graphics more and more
- 2:50:00and they're trying to keep it affordable because they want
- 2:50:02families to buy these things. It's a tricky it's a tricky
- 2:50:07market to keep your hardware competitive and affordable at
- 2:50:10the same time. So they run at 30.
- 2:50:14But like with Starfield, I was just like, Nah, fuck that 'cause
- 2:50:16I can run it at 60. IA Lot of people play Starfield
- 2:50:20on the fucking thing. Steam says you won't get 30 that
- 2:50:25way. It's not supported that way.
- 2:50:30I didn't buy Starfield though, so I don't have it on Steam and
- 2:50:32I'm not installing Windows on it just to play Starfield, which I
- 2:50:36didn't even finish. You know what I did get?
- 2:50:41I got the DLC for Shredder's Revenge and I'm just like
- 2:50:46chilled with that. The boys playing it.
- 2:50:48I now he went to bed, so I'll probably play that when we're
- 2:50:50done here because it's a rogue like mode where you chop people
- 2:50:54up as fucking the Ninja Turtles. Fuck you AAA games.
- 2:51:00Shredder's Revenge. Oh, Speaking of games that I'm
- 2:51:04going to be playing RoboCop, Hell yeah.
- 2:51:09But I've seen reviews saying it's a masterpiece from like GGG
- 2:51:13Man or whatever. The title of his.
- 2:51:16I didn't watch the video, but the title of his video was
- 2:51:19RoboCop is basically a masterpiece.
- 2:51:21Yeah, that's what kind of what I was saying.
- 2:51:24Like, well, if we're sitting here while I was geeking out, I
- 2:51:30was like, this is awesome. Metal as fuck, RoboCop as fuck.
- 2:51:39Yeah, it's the one shooter where I'll except going slow.
- 2:51:43I tend to be like a Boomer shooter guy, 'cause I like to go
- 2:51:45fast. I like Quake.
- 2:51:49I don't like Halo, if that makes sense.
- 2:51:53Yeah, no, I I I gotcha. That's what I was grew up on, so
- 2:52:00it kind of suits. It suits me just right.
- 2:52:03There's a lot of really good quick games now.
- 2:52:05Some of them are too quick for me, 'cause I'm getting old
- 2:52:11boomer shooters. I I still have some to beat.
- 2:52:14I got to beat that eye on Fury, the one in the build engine, the
- 2:52:20Duke Nukem engine that they made a couple of.
- 2:52:23I tried playing that the other day.
- 2:52:24It looks so great for a 1998 engine.
- 2:52:28You know, they just made it 2019, and basically it was
- 2:52:34supposed to be like the female Duke sidekick that's kind of
- 2:52:38Duke Ish for a chick. But then they have a licensing
- 2:52:42dispute about Duke Nukem or whatever, and they just made it
- 2:52:45in the build engine for cheap as a passion project.
- 2:52:48And my God, is it fun? And it's fast.
- 2:52:51And I need my shooters to have some speed to them and I can
- 2:52:55Bunny hop. That's a big one.
- 2:52:59Yeah. Give me the B hop to actually do
- 2:53:02something. Otherwise I'm just jumping like
- 2:53:04a Jackass. Either way, I'm jumping
- 2:53:07constantly. You do it too.
- 2:53:11Don't tell me you don't. Yeah.
- 2:53:15We all we all do. Let's see if you played an Elder
- 2:53:19Scrolls game before Skyrim. There was a whole stat dedicated
- 2:53:24to jumping in Morrowind. You could make it so you could
- 2:53:26jump like a mile up in the fucking air if you fucking Max
- 2:53:29that shit out and then took like a potion, that's why.
- 2:53:33That's what you can do. That's what you can do with like
- 2:53:36some of the legs in Cyberpunk, though not quite to the effect
- 2:53:45of Morrowind. Morrowind was.
- 2:53:47Not quite, but still Also 'cause nothing in Morrowind was like
- 2:53:52instance, except like small buildings, they did a lot with a
- 2:53:56little for that game. It's still surprisingly good.
- 2:53:58Daggerfall as well. Daggerfall's like the biggest
- 2:54:01game ever, but it looks like this 2D mess now.
- 2:54:05Yeah, but it's just like, it's like the size of England all
- 2:54:10told 'cause it was procedurally generated to be like the size of
- 2:54:15England and populate it with dungeons and quests.
- 2:54:19I keep an eye on that life. That life of P is going to get
- 2:54:22like Game of the Year award. Dave the Diver.
- 2:54:29That's that's Max's Game of the Year award.
- 2:54:31Dave the Diver, 'cause I can't say Ninja Turtles 'cause that
- 2:54:35was last year. Yeah, Dave, the diver.
- 2:54:39Didn't Dave the Diver come out last year though?
- 2:54:42No, it came out this year. I got it when it first came in
- 2:54:45Early Access in like February and then it came out.
- 2:54:48Oh yeah, They were going in Early Access for like a short
- 2:54:51time, which is good right away. To see that kind of turn around
- 2:54:56cause a lot of games. I mean, Daisy was in Early
- 2:54:58Access for like 10 years. So to see a game turn around in
- 2:55:02a couple months and it's good, I'm telling you, the story's
- 2:55:05good, the gameplay loop's good. It's kind of good-natured,
- 2:55:08'cause you're just like a fisherman fighting with fish
- 2:55:11under the ocean and then cooking them in your restaurant and
- 2:55:13trying to make money to get upgrades and all that, all the
- 2:55:18cut scenes. Like, there's this cool chef who
- 2:55:21doesn't say anything, but he like does anime cutscenes of
- 2:55:25making all the food and it looks awesome.
- 2:55:27Game is, yeah, the best indie game I played this year, and
- 2:55:32that makes it the best game I played this year because all the
- 2:55:34AAA games in some way or another disappointed me.
- 2:55:37But Dave the Diver had me coming back wanting to play more.
- 2:55:40So that's the game of the year. No Life of P didn't do that at
- 2:55:43all. Is a good Dark Souls game.
- 2:55:47Game My boy liked it because the art style's a little scary and
- 2:55:53he likes that shit, but even he got bored with it.
- 2:55:57I beat it. It's kind of like a hard Dark
- 2:55:59Souls game, admittedly, but it's not.
- 2:56:03That's not anything I would really write, say.
- 2:56:04Game of the. I wouldn't even think that would
- 2:56:06be contender. I would think Spider Man 2
- 2:56:08probably is. You know, gay stuff aside.
- 2:56:11Yeah, I mean, I'd say Starfield like it's but this, OK?
- 2:56:16A lot of the hate coming on Starfield are from people who
- 2:56:18didn't play it it. I put it as a solid man game.
- 2:56:24I had some fun with it, but I didn't have enough fun to spend
- 2:56:27100 hours beating it. Space Cowboy, I knew was kind of
- 2:56:31cool. See, I'm not, I'm not even
- 2:56:33hating on Starfield because I haven't played it.
- 2:56:36What I will say is I am, I am laughing my ass off at the
- 2:56:40people are like, oh, cyberpunk is so much better than Starfield
- 2:56:45because it's like a lot less buggy, free.
- 2:56:47And it's like. Do you people not?
- 2:56:51I I don't even agree with that. Well, it's like it's like, do
- 2:56:56you? Well, it's.
- 2:56:57I was playing Cyberpunk 2 Point O, and I don't even agree with
- 2:57:00that. I think they're about on par.
- 2:57:03I played. I played Starfield at launch.
- 2:57:06Look, those big RPGs, they have hundreds of people working with.
- 2:57:10I have thousands. They're moving parts and they're
- 2:57:13buggy and that's but you, you gamers have the higher and
- 2:57:17higher expectancy. My indie game thing, I love when
- 2:57:21a company takes an idea and just laser focuses on the fun
- 2:57:25gameplay loop and then maybe writes a story around it and it.
- 2:57:29And that's what most indie games are.
- 2:57:31That's what David the Diver is. They were like what if during
- 2:57:34the day you dive around the ocean with a harpoon gun
- 2:57:37catching fish, and at night you run a sushi restaurant with the
- 2:57:40fish you catch. So it's a business SIM and like
- 2:57:44a rogue, like hunt the fish game and you go back and forth
- 2:57:48between the two, catch a special fish trying to impress critics
- 2:57:52and make your and you have like a social media thing that you're
- 2:57:54trying to like promote, so you take pictures of the good food.
- 2:57:58It's just a silly little thing that they went all in on and
- 2:58:01it's 2D graphics and I don't give a fuck if Life AP looks
- 2:58:04nice. Dave the Diver looks nice for
- 2:58:07pixel art it's fantastic and there's a whole little story
- 2:58:10where and it's cute. You uncover the history of like
- 2:58:13a ancient lost sea people who may or may not be mermaids.
- 2:58:18I'm not going to spoil anything, but they live under the water
- 2:58:23and they may or may not still be alive.
- 2:58:25And it's a whole mystery solving.
- 2:58:27While you're trying to run the restaurant and fish and fight
- 2:58:32sharks, 'cause if a shark sees you, you're in a fucking fight,
- 2:58:36you can run away and you have to.
- 2:58:37You have oxygen as you're down there, so you can only stay down
- 2:58:40for so long and you can only carry so much.
- 2:58:44And each fish is worth different prices so you can see how it
- 2:58:47gets a little addictive. They focus on that gameplay loop
- 2:58:50or you have. And yeah, I can see you can
- 2:58:53defend Cyberpunk now. But at launch, Cyberpunk was a
- 2:58:57mess. Yeah, right.
- 2:59:00Dave the diver wasn't at launch, not even at Early Access launch.
- 2:59:04The only thing is, it just had the first chapter.
- 2:59:06So I stopped playing it. I was like, OK, I get the feel
- 2:59:10of it. I'd already been sold on it.
- 2:59:13And then I waited for the full thing to come out.
- 2:59:15And I'm telling you to me, if you haven't played it and you
- 2:59:20say no, that can't possibly be game of the year.
- 2:59:23You can't really weigh in. I'm telling you, it's one of
- 2:59:26those things you have to play. It's maybe not the most, like
- 2:59:30graphically intense or deep simulationy RPG Edge Lord story
- 2:59:37game ever, but it's fucking Game of the Year.
- 2:59:42See, I mean, I that that is the one thing that kind of annoys me
- 2:59:47with it. Like these gaming critics is
- 2:59:49they think that like in order for something to be Game of the
- 2:59:52Year, it must be graphically impressive because indie game
- 2:59:56companies, right, don't have the money to pay IGN to suck their
- 3:00:00Dick. That's the way it really like to
- 3:00:03some degree or another, whether it be through advertising.
- 3:00:06So I'm not saying it's bribery, but having a relationship.
- 3:00:09But it is. Yeah, and that's what Gamergate
- 3:00:12Yeah, that was what the Gamergaters were trying to say
- 3:00:15about Ethics and Gaming Journal. I wasn't a part of it, but I
- 3:00:17get. That no, I get.
- 3:00:19I get that you're like. You're you're basically
- 3:00:21exchanging money for 8 out of 10 for everything and it's fucking
- 3:00:24gay and you're. Prioritizing people with like a
- 3:00:27left wing message. That's why Gamergate is, like,
- 3:00:30so relevant. And that's why they keep
- 3:00:31freaking out about it, because they kind of called it on the
- 3:00:33nose what they were doing, yeah. I'm not.
- 3:00:37Like I said, I wasn't involved in it, but like, a spade's a
- 3:00:40spade. And they were saying like,
- 3:00:43there's no ethics in any of this.
- 3:00:44They're all exchanging money and like sexual favors and things
- 3:00:47for like, good reviews. So even when an indie game gets
- 3:00:51a fair shake now, people still think about that.
- 3:00:54Right, so if if a indie game that's maybe really good gets
- 3:00:58good press, you still don't find a lot of people playing it.
- 3:01:01With the rare exception of something like Vampire
- 3:01:03Survivors, which I was the worst review for that game on YouTube.
- 3:01:07Now everybody knows what it is. My wife even likes that game.
- 3:01:12It's because it's like a three dollar game that you can just
- 3:01:14sit there and play an infant game loop, play loop.
- 3:01:16The guy originally didn't even make the graphics, he bought
- 3:01:18them in a pack. But he put it all together in an
- 3:01:21interesting way that has a fun game play loop if you haven't
- 3:01:23played it. You have these passive weapons
- 3:01:26and you upgrade by getting experience points really quickly
- 3:01:31and you get more and more powerful.
- 3:01:32Ramp up and there's more and more monsters.
- 3:01:34And by a couple minutes there's like 1000 monsters on Scream and
- 3:01:37you're killing them all. And after a while you either die
- 3:01:42or you beat the level in like so many 10 minutes or whatever.
- 3:01:47And then you get more powerful for all your guys and do it
- 3:01:50again. And it might be.
- 3:01:53Like NES style graphics but that gameplay loop I've I'll I'll
- 3:01:57tell you right now how much I've put into vampire survivors and
- 3:02:01again I was the first YouTube review of it and I get no love
- 3:02:04for it man. I like discovered that game make
- 3:02:10face that where is Vampire survivors in my steam library
- 3:02:15and they've complete and they've done so much free content for it
- 3:02:18too which is the crazy part. Yeah, 62 hours.
- 3:02:23In a little 2D game where you actually don't even attack all,
- 3:02:27the only controls in Vampire Survivors if you've never played
- 3:02:30it is you can walk up, down and left right and you get to pick a
- 3:02:35level up whenever you pick up enough experience points and
- 3:02:38that's it. Everything else is passive, but
- 3:02:41for some reason it's super addictive.
- 3:02:46And it's like $3, and you'll probably get more time out of it
- 3:02:49than you will most of those AAA games, even like Cyberpunk.
- 3:02:54I've played 62 hours of Vampire Survivors and I don't think I've
- 3:02:58even scratched half the surface of it.
- 3:03:01And Judge, indeed, they keep putting out new content like
- 3:03:04every couple of months, because it's a simple game with a 2D art
- 3:03:11style and just a fantastic game loop, and it doesn't need more
- 3:03:14than that. The story is, is that like?
- 3:03:16I don't know Castlevania type shit because they all look like
- 3:03:21Castlevania. Here, have fun with this fun
- 3:03:23game. Sometimes you don't need all
- 3:03:25that story. A game is a game, right?
- 3:03:29What's the story of Tetris? There is none.
- 3:03:35Why would you need it? It's Tetris, yeah.
- 3:03:39Yeah. That's that's that's how you
- 3:03:43know you got some good and so. Why isn't that not formula true
- 3:03:47today? Of course it is.
- 3:03:49A lot of games I find the most enjoyment out of are like modern
- 3:03:53take with like modern hardware on a very specific retro gaming
- 3:04:00genre I love. I'm also an early supporter and
- 3:04:05I feel kind of let down by but still stand by to some degree
- 3:04:09'cause it's just one guy working on it.
- 3:04:11But there was an Xbox 360 Arcade game.
- 3:04:15That stole my heart. Called Dead Pixels, it's a
- 3:04:19zombie game and you basically walk and you can shoot left or
- 3:04:22you can shoot right and there's all these power ups and it looks
- 3:04:26like an NES game, kind of like River City Ransom or something.
- 3:04:30And the music is fantastic and it's a super fun gameplay at
- 3:04:34Loop and I bought when he put it into Early Access Dead Pixels 2.
- 3:04:40Straight to video. And I have the like demo that
- 3:04:43he's got finished, but it's just one guy in England working on it
- 3:04:47himself and having a full time job and it's taking forever to
- 3:04:51come out. But I I guarantee you it's an
- 3:04:55indie game that would steal a lot of people's heart.
- 3:04:57The music in it alone, it's supposed to be like a Super
- 3:05:01Nintendo era. The first one was like an NES
- 3:05:03era. And it's so it's got more RPG
- 3:05:07type elements and stuff, but it's also just like a horrid
- 3:05:11survival game with bosses and a story this time, and you can
- 3:05:16make choices and survivors in a camp.
- 3:05:19So it does have a little bit of a fucking story to it, but it's
- 3:05:21still made to look 16 bit. But the music is so fucking good
- 3:05:29it has no right to be. And that's true of both those
- 3:05:33games. But I feel like I'm never gonna
- 3:05:36see Dead Pixels 2 fully finished right now it's got the same demo
- 3:05:40he's had for years where you get up to the first boss, which is
- 3:05:43awesome, and then it's like, OK, 54 more streets to go.
- 3:05:49This is the end of the playable experience, and it's been that
- 3:05:53way for many years. I feel like I got my $10 out of
- 3:05:59it though, 'cause I can still go back and play it cause the
- 3:06:01character creator's awesome, the art style's awesome, and I'm
- 3:06:04telling you. It's the synth style that
- 3:06:07emulates the 80s almost like vaporwave to a degree, but more
- 3:06:12authentic to what it sounded like in the in the 80s and 90s.
- 3:06:15And like movies and shit, that action movie kind of synth sound
- 3:06:19that you don't get anymore, yeah.
- 3:06:22It really does that kind of soundtrack, like the best I've
- 3:06:26ever heard and the gunplay is great and the the levelling is
- 3:06:30great and I just wish this one guy would finish it.
- 3:06:36So that's the kind of heartbreak you get on the Indies too.
- 3:06:38Because on paper it's a simple game.
- 3:06:40It's 2D. But like, he hand draws all this
- 3:06:44pixel art and he's really, really talented at pixel art.
- 3:06:47If you go look up dead pixel two, you'll see what I mean.
- 3:06:50It looks. Great.
- 3:06:52Problem is, it's not done. I still played 67 hours of it
- 3:06:56though, so I got my 10 bucks worth.
- 3:07:00Also because it's Co-op and when it's done, it's supposed to have
- 3:07:03online Co-op one day when it's done, but then you get Dave the
- 3:07:12diver and the turn around is like instant in this game of the
- 3:07:15year. So what else we got?
- 3:07:18Gaming. We bored everybody to death with
- 3:07:19that. What else we got?
- 3:07:20You. You have me sold.
- 3:07:23Not much else. Play Dave the Diver.
- 3:07:28Play Dave the Diver. Oh, got a.
- 3:07:34Pit story. There's one that I I didn't tell
- 3:07:37the pit story on the air, did I? No, no.
- 3:07:41And I said earlier, I'm like, yeah, you don't like pit bulls
- 3:07:44too much. Do you?
- 3:07:45I don't generally like pit bulls.
- 3:07:48There are settings where they're fine.
- 3:07:50I may fucking gone a bit far and say outlaw them or whatever, but
- 3:07:55I was kind of just mad. But the wrong setting for them.
- 3:08:00Is around other people's kids that don't know you or the dog
- 3:08:04right? Right up in their grill.
- 3:08:06Because you don't know if kids are even as scared of dogs or
- 3:08:10whatever, right? Individually.
- 3:08:13And so OK, we're trick or treating.
- 3:08:14My boy's having a grand old time.
- 3:08:17He went out with his mom and grandma to some places that were
- 3:08:20giving out like a lot of candy 1st.
- 3:08:23And then we walked around the neighborhood and we got halfway
- 3:08:26down the street. And he went up the steps and he
- 3:08:29knocked and the lady came to the door with her fucking pit bull
- 3:08:34right up in my kids grill and then like oh he's nice and my
- 3:08:39son, as anybody would do, jump back.
- 3:08:43He loves dogs, but it takes him and he's even pet pit bulls and
- 3:08:47stuff. Unfortunately, as far as I'm
- 3:08:52concerned, because they are, they are more liable than other
- 3:08:55breeds to fucking snap and bite somebody.
- 3:08:57And especially in a setting like this, like I've known people
- 3:09:01that I thought take care of big pitbulls.
- 3:09:02Well, because I'm from the country, OK, I I know that you
- 3:09:06can do that. But they require an actual lot
- 3:09:08of exercise as a breed to not snap one day.
- 3:09:14If you just have them living lazy in an apartment, they
- 3:09:17actually can potentially be, if that's when they are potentially
- 3:09:20a threat, because you don't. They're still not completely a
- 3:09:24domesticated animal, kind of like.
- 3:09:27The lady that had the chimp for years and years and then a bit
- 3:09:29her friend's face off. Oh yeah.
- 3:09:33Like, they're not an actual domestic.
- 3:09:35Like, they were kind of bred out of the domestication part
- 3:09:38because they were bred to fight for entertainment purposes,
- 3:09:42which makes it a different, like, set of instinct, you know?
- 3:09:46And they're hard to to just train out when the dogs are so
- 3:09:51athletic and full of energy. And I'm not saying, like, you
- 3:09:55even need, like, an extraordinary.
- 3:09:56It's just like, walk them a little bit.
- 3:09:59But it's a couple miles and probably at least every other
- 3:10:02day you got to walk a pit bull, and you probably got to have a
- 3:10:05rope for it to hang off of by its jaw to work that out and get
- 3:10:10all that energy out. And still they might just like,
- 3:10:15go do something. If they smell a female dog in
- 3:10:17heat down the street and let you know that they're in charge now,
- 3:10:22'cause they want to get laid. But anyway, the lady comes in,
- 3:10:27my son understandably, jumps back and then falls off the top,
- 3:10:31step onto his butt and then is the middle of his back on one of
- 3:10:35the big cement steps. And then he falls off, falls off
- 3:10:39into the trees, basically on the back of his fucking back and
- 3:10:43neck. And I immediately run over and
- 3:10:46check on him to see if he's OK. He says he is.
- 3:10:49I pick him up and he's obviously a.
- 3:10:51Crying and upset because he just fell and it definitely hurt, but
- 3:10:55he was OK. And then I wanted to just choke
- 3:10:59this bitch. Why do you come to the front
- 3:11:01door on Halloween to a random strange kid with your fucking
- 3:11:04Pitbull in their face? Yeah.
- 3:11:09That's why I don't like pitbulls.
- 3:11:11It's because of those kind of Pitbull owners, because that's
- 3:11:13just and she's just like, oh, he's so nice, yeah, but my son
- 3:11:17doesn't know that. And he reacted normally.
- 3:11:20And it caused an accident that could have been completely
- 3:11:23avoided if you were a responsible adult.
- 3:11:25And the crazy part is one of the houses before that, the guy came
- 3:11:30to the door and real quick said hold on, I got to get my dog
- 3:11:32under control and he brought him into another room and then came
- 3:11:36and gave my son a couple candies for waiting so patiently.
- 3:11:40That dog was a Beagle. So the Beagle owner responsibly
- 3:11:45put their Beagle in the other room so as not to scare all the
- 3:11:47fucking little kids off. But the Pitbull owner, lady
- 3:11:51middle-aged fucking soccer mom has to come right in my son's
- 3:11:55face with her fucking unknown strange Pitbull and say how nice
- 3:11:58he is. That's the problem with
- 3:12:00pitbulls. It's Pitbull.
- 3:12:01Ladies like that. Yeah.
- 3:12:04Yeah, well, she. Residential area and I doubt she
- 3:12:09runs at 7 miles well and she about well, she probably thinks
- 3:12:13that her Pitbull is the exception to the to the.
- 3:12:15Rule. They all do, don't they?
- 3:12:17And it might be for the most of their life, but the risk is
- 3:12:20there because these are animals just meant to be active, and
- 3:12:24they're also meant to be predators.
- 3:12:27Genetically. You can drain it out to the most
- 3:12:30part, but you never know what's going to set them off more than
- 3:12:33other breeds, usually other breeds.
- 3:12:36When they bite people, it's it's usually the Rottweilers or the
- 3:12:40German Shepherds and the statistic.
- 3:12:42They don't feed you to that because they try to make it
- 3:12:44sound like it's almost as bad as pitbulls.
- 3:12:47Is that most of them are doing it in the name of either police
- 3:12:49work or security work. Yeah, I knew.
- 3:12:54I knew. I knew a couple that had to get
- 3:12:57rid of their Rottweiler because the Rottweiler got jealous once
- 3:13:03their kid was born. Yeah, no, rottweilers can't.
- 3:13:06I'm not saying rottweilers can't be mean.
- 3:13:08I'm saying out of the bites that they give.
- 3:13:11Right. Yeah.
- 3:13:14The majority come in the line of police work along with like
- 3:13:18shepherds. But that's not true of Pitbulls
- 3:13:20because they don't do police work or any of that because
- 3:13:24they're not suitable for it for obvious reasons.
- 3:13:27But no, tell me how they're fine when law enforcement doesn't
- 3:13:30think it's fine. You know, wouldn't it help you
- 3:13:33have a big like if they were loyal to the end and could like
- 3:13:36like a German Shepherd can be or like a Rottweiler can be and
- 3:13:40also that big and mean and vicious.
- 3:13:42Don't you think more law enforcement would use them?
- 3:13:46It would be a tactical advantage to do so, because they're huge
- 3:13:50and that bite will tear you apart more than a fucking German
- 3:13:53Shepherd boy. But they don't, because that
- 3:13:58bite might turn around and be on the fucking officer that it's
- 3:14:01been partners with for 20 years. You know, Because that's kind of
- 3:14:05how pit bulls are, especially in the line of duty.
- 3:14:07You don't know what's going on in their mind, all the shit
- 3:14:10they're trying to process. That's human shit, you know?
- 3:14:14Yeah. Just the dog.
- 3:14:17Well, we, Yeah, we. We eat fucking self-defense.
- 3:14:22You know, we we anthropomorphize animals a lot.
- 3:14:28Yeah, but at the end of the day, they all and cats too.
- 3:14:32Or like eat, sleep, fuck self-defense.
- 3:14:33That's animals, right? But domesticated animals.
- 3:14:37The strategy is to how they get that is to, like make human do
- 3:14:40it. Dogs do it a lot of cases by
- 3:14:43being at least helpful in some way.
- 3:14:47Cats do it by being cute and also maybe eating rodents and
- 3:14:53that's why we have those two. And birds are helpful for like
- 3:14:57mining and other things, sending messages and such.
- 3:15:02All the domesticated animals have a reason.
- 3:15:07Well, we don't. We don't.
- 3:15:08We don't send birds anymore. No, that's why there's so many
- 3:15:13pigeons in cities. They they send from like
- 3:15:17messenger. That's not even like a.
- 3:15:19That's true. That's why there's pigeons in
- 3:15:23cities. And they're so like chill with
- 3:15:25humans because they're domesticated and they they think
- 3:15:28about that. It's like a whole race of pets
- 3:15:30abandoned forever because we invented the Telegraph.
- 3:15:35That's what pigeons are. When you think about those damn
- 3:15:37pigeons, remember that they're like.
- 3:15:41You took their job and they don't know what to do, so they
- 3:15:44eat trash and shit everywhere, yeah.
- 3:15:51True. Yeah, No, it is either.
- 3:15:53That, or their spy drones is according to the one thing I
- 3:15:57heard on that one reputable program.
- 3:16:01Oh yeah, the whole birds aren't real thing.
- 3:16:04Yeah, clearly. I mean, pigeons can't be real,
- 3:16:06'cause that story that I just told, it's so ridiculous that.
- 3:16:10Clearly, they're just spy drones.
- 3:16:13They're not. They're not the abandoned worker
- 3:16:17pets that have no idea why we've abandoned them, but have genetic
- 3:16:20memories to hang around us, 'cause they don't know how to
- 3:16:22survive on their own anymore. Yeah.
- 3:16:26And the more you think about that, the more existentially.
- 3:16:28Sad it gets, yeah. It has been the pigeon's plate
- 3:16:34for a second. It's so existentially.
- 3:16:38Sad good, Grouch. You know what I mean?
- 3:16:41Like we we made them bombs and then complain that they shit
- 3:16:46everywhere and eat everything, but we basically create a
- 3:16:51situation where they if they don't do that, they'll just
- 3:16:53cease. To.
- 3:16:54Be so they hang out near us and eat popcorn off the fucking
- 3:16:59ground. Because we abandoned them when
- 3:17:03we found a newer, flashier toy. Because human beings are fickle.
- 3:17:09It's it's so sad. I think we might want to end the
- 3:17:13podcast and just like leave the audience with that for this
- 3:17:16week. There you go.
- 3:17:19Think about the carrier carrier pigeons, folks.
- 3:17:23Now known as a modern people call them trash birds, right?
- 3:17:29You know what I mean? Like, people don't.
- 3:17:30Don't. Who thinks highly of pigeons?
- 3:17:33But they were once an integral part of the communication in
- 3:17:37this very country. In that very city you're in was
- 3:17:40part of the network. And now they just shit
- 3:17:43everywhere. Yeah.
- 3:17:46That's what happens when you take the jobs, play Dave the
- 3:17:49Diver and they got the carrier pigeons, yeah.
- 3:17:58What other podcasts that given that advice and listen to
- 3:18:03Meatloaf bat out of hell Yes. You instantly agree with that.
- 3:18:11Good man. Great, great, great album.
- 3:18:16Yeah, All righty folks, we'll be back next week.
- 3:18:21Until then, take care and don't do anything I I wouldn't do or
- 3:18:30would do depending. Yeah, don't post what he would
- 3:18:33post about sky blue or whatever. Besides, I mean, if you're into
- 3:18:40Gotham mommies, you already got like, the the urea Ripley,
- 3:18:43right? Oh.
- 3:18:45He's not good enough for you guys.
- 3:18:47You're not into that or he. She took a bit far.
- 3:18:53A bit. Far.
- 3:18:54Well, yeah, she's the leader of the Judgement Day.
- 3:18:58Yeah. What's what's, what's this blue
- 3:19:01chick doing again? All right, just showing her
- 3:19:03panties. She she should have, she should
- 3:19:09have been in, like, the modeling industry.
- 3:19:11But then the modeling industry went woke and pretty girls
- 3:19:14aren't allowed. Yeah, and so she becomes a
- 3:19:18pigeon. There's where you end it.
- 3:19:22Sky blue, the pigeon. Think about it.
- 3:19:29All right, folks, yeah, that is a good way to end.
