- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us
- 0:04Speaker 1: on air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I have a clear position on this, but it was
- 0:13Speaker 2: brought to my attention.
- 0:14Speaker 3: There is and I read this on Reddit. Here's the story.
- 0:17Speaker 2: There's an eighteen year old woman who posted this, and
- 0:21Speaker 2: she's been with her twenty three year old boyfriend for
- 0:23Speaker 2: two and a half years. He planned for them to
- 0:26Speaker 2: move into an apartment together after she graduated high school.
- 0:28Speaker 2: First of all, twenty three eighteen. Oh okay, that's a
- 0:32Speaker 2: big gap in it took.
- 0:35Speaker 3: The words out of my brain.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So without telling him, she applied to college in a
- 0:40Speaker 2: different city. She got accepted, and now he has flipped, saying,
- 0:47Speaker 2: like she lied to me, she wasted our time. She's selfish.
- 0:54Speaker 2: But she says, technically I did not promise him anything.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Did I promise she'd move in? She says she's always
- 0:59Speaker 2: been clear that school is important to her. Now people
- 1:02Speaker 2: are divided. There's no divide for me on this.
- 1:05Speaker 4: No, there's not for me either. You're asking the wrong person.
- 1:07Speaker 4: If you want to agree guide with him.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Thank you. I'm not signing with him. I'm signing with her.
- 1:12Speaker 2: She needs, First of all, red red flag that he's
- 1:16Speaker 2: overreacting to something like this when you're in the prime
- 1:19Speaker 2: of your education, the prime of the time for you
- 1:21Speaker 2: to go learn life skills.
- 1:23Speaker 3: He is not supported.
- 1:24Speaker 2: No, I don't know what the divide is about, Tanya.
- 1:28Speaker 5: I don't know what the divide is about either.
- 1:31Speaker 3: The people who are on the other side of this.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I was just reading, say you kept him as a
- 1:36Speaker 2: backup plan if you didn't get into that school.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Oh, I see that all options open?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Do we know that? Probably not. She's eighteen.
- 1:44Speaker 3: This was at eighteen.
- 1:45Speaker 2: You don't know what a backup plan looks like. You
- 1:46Speaker 2: just keep all options open.
- 1:48Speaker 6: No, what are you supposed to do when you're in
- 1:49Speaker 6: a relationship and you're applying to colleges.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Leave them behind?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Well, my girlfriend left me behind. I was in high school.
- 1:55Speaker 2: She was in college and blew me off. Remember I
- 1:56Speaker 2: told you I went to the school.
- 1:57Speaker 5: I brought her the guy the tree eighteen.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Like your mid twenties is supposed to be selfish.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Time, Like, that's great that she's been selfish.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And so for you to she to her to the
- 2:10Speaker 2: woman here he's not the one and he's selfish and
- 2:14Speaker 2: he I like his controlling this. No, so stop this
- 2:18Speaker 2: debate the smell of coffee in the morning. Last night
- 2:21Speaker 2: I had it to kids ut him good morning, Hey,
- 2:23Speaker 2: the back round and say hi.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Good morning, good morning.
- 2:25Speaker 7: Morning.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We got over there, roll call who you got to?
- 2:28Speaker 3: You got Ruby?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yes, oh, look at da I got Fonzie over there
- 2:31Speaker 2: in the corner. Morning Ryan, Sofia the intern, Good morning.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I haven't seen you in a minute. You got any
- 2:36Speaker 2: of those value deals? What are those things called Fonzie's? No,
- 2:40Speaker 2: Fanzi's freebies?
- 2:41Speaker 3: You know what these fees. Let me work on that.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna give some stuff to you this week.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I love a Fonzie freebie that's not on the menu
- 2:47Speaker 2: at one of the local chains.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I love it. Let me work on that.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Let me have nothing for you, and I just let
- 2:55Speaker 3: it go. That's fine. Fanzie didn't see you?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, no, last night I had a nightmare that I
- 2:59Speaker 2: was I had no coffee this morning. It was just
- 3:01Speaker 2: a night marriwll up. My heart was pounding. It was
- 3:04Speaker 2: a total nightmare. Out of coffee in my home. And
- 3:07Speaker 2: then I made my coffee. And the smell, the aroma
- 3:10Speaker 2: of the grinds, it is something special.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Is there a.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Smell like for me? Coffee smell in the morning and
- 3:20Speaker 2: my lavender sheet pillows spray. These two things can transport me.
- 3:25Speaker 4: I love vanilla. I love the smell vanilla that makes
- 3:29Speaker 4: vanilla candle. Sure, anything like that is just so yummy
- 3:33Speaker 4: to me.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Like I really think smells aromas when you're having a
- 3:37Speaker 2: lot on your plate or your shoulders are tight, they
- 3:40Speaker 2: can help you for a minute. Coffee, lavender, vanilla, Tony,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you have a smell like, is there a smell that
- 3:45Speaker 2: puts you?
- 3:45Speaker 3: It transports you. Cinnamon rolls, yes, yes, how about.
- 3:50Speaker 2: The airports cinnamon rolls all of it? Cookies, baking cookies.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Yeah, what about like I fuffins, cookies, muffins, Bacon.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's gonna sound weird, but free holess being cooked.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Beans being cooked. I know you're talking about.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I know that that It in like the like you
- 4:12Speaker 4: cook the beans in like it just brings me back.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Like to like being a kid.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yes, it's the same for me. With bacon.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I love bacon.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I put bacon on sometimes I put one strip of
- 4:25Speaker 2: bacon in just to smell up the house on a
- 4:27Speaker 2: Sunday morning.
- 4:29Speaker 3: It's basically like.
- 4:30Speaker 2: A bacon candle. I don't really eat the bacon. I
- 4:33Speaker 2: just sizzle it and it smells up the whole house
- 4:36Speaker 2: in Rember.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I've never heard of anyone doing something so bizarre.
- 4:40Speaker 6: No, I know a lot of people that like put
- 4:41Speaker 6: stuff on their oven or sorry, on their stove to
- 4:46Speaker 6: make their house smell a certain type of Yeah, like that.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But try the bacon. I mean, you're gonna eat the bacon,
- 4:51Speaker 2: but I am gonna eat it. I don't always eat
- 4:53Speaker 2: the bacon. Put what's just one strip in a pan.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It smells up the whole house, and it does remind
- 4:56Speaker 2: you of Sunday mornings watching cartoons.
- 4:58Speaker 5: That's like my beije flag.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That's a base fight.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I don't like bacon.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I know, what about the idea of taking something like
- 5:06Speaker 2: that and creating a nostalgic smell.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I think that's super cute. Yeah, I would say it's
- 5:13Speaker 3: a green flag.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, ta to their own.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I just got a favorite smell. I'd love to know
- 5:18Speaker 2: your favorite smells. Like, what's a smell first thing in
- 5:21Speaker 2: the morning, last thing in the evening. What's a scent
- 5:23Speaker 2: that can transport you five to one to two seven
- 5:28Speaker 2: Or you can hit us up on a talk back
- 5:31Speaker 2: at Kiss FM inside that iHeartRadio app now shifting gears. Tanya,
- 5:35Speaker 2: you got scanned. We all are getting scanned more and more.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I got a I got a text that almost got me. Hey,
- 5:40Speaker 2: I'm in town on business. Should we get together? And
- 5:44Speaker 2: I'm thinking it's a number I didn't recognize, thinking, you
- 5:46Speaker 2: know what the time, he's pretty good on somebody I
- 5:48Speaker 2: know that I haven't seen a while in town on business.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Maybe we should get together. Then I stopped because you have.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Their numbers save your phone.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I feel a lot of numbers.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I don't.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a lot of round numbers. I just
- 6:00Speaker 2: saved yours under the wrong spelling of your name ten
- 6:02Speaker 2: years ago.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I can't.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So, now, what did you get scammed on?
- 6:08Speaker 6: So I got and I I want to say, I'm
- 6:11Speaker 6: like very aware of these things. I feel like I
- 6:14Speaker 6: get like weird Amazon emails that say like click this link,
- 6:17Speaker 6: you're your Amazon package is falling behind, and I'm like,
- 6:20Speaker 6: I'm aware of.
- 6:20Speaker 1: These postal Yes, yeah, those texts are not legit.
- 6:24Speaker 6: I'm like so aware of these things. Right, this scammer
- 6:28Speaker 6: did their homework. They saw this clothing brand that I
- 6:31Speaker 6: wear often. I got an email saying, we want you
- 6:35Speaker 6: to be an ambassador for this clothing brand and I'm
- 6:38Speaker 6: friends with the founder, so I thought, oh, this all
- 6:40Speaker 6: makes sense. I even checked with the person, saying, is
- 6:43Speaker 6: this your head of marketing? I went the extra step
- 6:46Speaker 6: and she's like, yes, that's her.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, this is so exciting.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I'm like emailing back and forth. They have my name,
- 6:51Speaker 6: they have my address to send me the clothing.
- 6:54Speaker 5: They have uh what else? Do they have my phone number?
- 6:58Speaker 6: And it got to the point where they were like, oh,
- 7:01Speaker 6: we need payment to send the clothes.
- 7:03Speaker 3: There you know, if they're asking for.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Payment and this is our Zelle, this is our whatever whatever,
- 7:08Speaker 6: And that's when I started to be like huh. And
- 7:10Speaker 6: then they sent me a form to sign and I
- 7:11Speaker 6: sent it to my husband Robbie, because I just haven't
- 7:13Speaker 6: look over anything that I sign, and he goes, this
- 7:16Speaker 6: is in the compliance form. So that's when I was like,
- 7:18Speaker 6: oh my gosh, is this And I've been talking to
- 7:20Speaker 6: these people for two weeks on email.
- 7:22Speaker 2: See this is but for anybody who listen to this show,
- 7:25Speaker 2: they could do this to you totally. And I talk
- 7:28Speaker 2: about what you like. I mean, I love coffee. I'm
- 7:30Speaker 2: gonna get a coffee scam come out?
- 7:31Speaker 6: Yes, And it was, So it's just it feels very
- 7:33Speaker 6: invasive and like obviously they know this about me and
- 7:36Speaker 6: they played me. They have my address, they have my
- 7:39Speaker 6: phone number, they have my email. So now I'm just
- 7:40Speaker 6: like so freaked out, and I'm getting all these like
- 7:42Speaker 6: scam calls like I'm.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Just I get like things from recruiters looking get me too,
- 7:49Speaker 2: like recruiting.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Hey, you can make like five hundred dollars in a
- 7:51Speaker 1: day if you click this link.
- 7:53Speaker 6: I think my biggest takeaways were like, unless you're sure
- 7:57Speaker 6: that this is somebody like you know that you know,
- 8:00Speaker 6: double check every email that you should have checked it with.
- 8:02Speaker 3: The owner you knew, and beat channing.
- 8:04Speaker 5: I don't know why I didn't. I don't know why
- 8:06Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 8:06Speaker 2: You got to do some due diligence these days on
- 8:08Speaker 2: things like that. And if it's too good to be true,
- 8:10Speaker 2: it's not true. How many times have I said LifeLock
- 8:15Speaker 2: promo code, Ryan.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm getting I'm getting LifeLock.
- 8:18Speaker 5: You say you don't have No, I don't have it.
- 8:21Speaker 6: After all the commercials I have done, I've just been
- 8:24Speaker 6: blissfully naively walking through that.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Why you get a deal, Yeah, thank you. Beware if
- 8:31Speaker 2: it's too good to be true. It's not true. All
- 8:33Speaker 2: three words right now?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Kiss up? I've met a quote of the day.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Three words you gotta use to describe yourself, they say,
- 8:39Speaker 2: if you want to get more matches on a dating app.
- 8:41Speaker 2: For women, you say you're sweet, ambitious, and thoughtful.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Do you like it?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Those are strong? Great words.
- 8:51Speaker 2: For men, they say, you're physically fit, spontaneous, and perceptive.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I think physical fits sounds bragger.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd be so turned off.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I would be too.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I would not even I could I cringe it if
- 9:03Speaker 2: I were to say it. Yeah, I like to work out,
- 9:05Speaker 2: but I don't want to say it.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Imagine you have that in your dating profile.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Spontaneous. I like it, but that'd be a lie if
- 9:16Speaker 2: I said that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't like perceptive either.
- 9:18Speaker 2: What do we think about overplanner perceptive? I mean perceptive
- 9:23Speaker 2: sounds business y?
- 9:25Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Or it sounds judgy.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It does, That's what it is. It sounds like.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Cocky and judge a BS.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Then yeah, I think you crush it on a dating app?
- 9:35Speaker 3: Please? Which one your lips?
- 9:37Speaker 1: To God's ears?
- 9:38Speaker 3: What was you also impatient about me?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I would love to have you on a dating app.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I got to create your profile.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Pick your pictures?
- 9:45Speaker 3: What dating app? Am I going to go on? I'm
- 9:47Speaker 3: not going to be comfortable with that?
- 9:48Speaker 1: Ya right, and.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Then we can screenshot. You're protected.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Why I don't want you And this is the whole point.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I don't want you engaged in my dating.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Maybe it's about time we are engaged, because you know
- 9:59Speaker 1: it's hasn't been gone so well lately.
- 10:02Speaker 3: What do you know? Yeah, what do you know?
- 10:05Speaker 5: I think it's about time we get involved.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, this is our intervention.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Like we all just signed four more years, right we did?
- 10:20Speaker 3: Then somehow they're aptly going to work their way into this.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I have a feeling all right.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Today's quote the life you want begins the moment you
- 10:28Speaker 2: stop apologizing for wanting it.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Take that to heart. Ryan. Yes, yes, we also have.
- 10:37Speaker 2: A second date update coming up. And it can be
- 10:40Speaker 2: very difficult to navigate the waters of dating.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Uh.
- 10:45Speaker 2: This is the situation where they men in Glendale, Glendale
- 10:48Speaker 2: Hollywood Bowl. They did some pretty cool dates actually, and
- 10:51Speaker 2: it was off to a great start and now it's stopped.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Now could it have stopped because he sent a video
- 10:56Speaker 2: of him in a bathtub?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Like is that a is that a thing you've been
- 11:00Speaker 3: out with?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Somebody once or twice, let's say twice, and you send
- 11:05Speaker 2: a video of you in a tub. You don't see
- 11:07Speaker 2: it in crazy but bubbles and you send a video
- 11:11Speaker 2: with a cute message or an emoji. I was with
- 11:14Speaker 2: someone in the back of an uber. She got this
- 11:16Speaker 2: from a guy and she immediately said, he's done. That's it,
- 11:21Speaker 2: He's done, and.
- 11:22Speaker 5: She didn't like it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't think that would do it for me.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I feel like that would show like he's funny and
- 11:27Speaker 4: like lighthearted.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Honestly, I found it a bit weird now talking about
- 11:31Speaker 2: it one thing, but I saw it.
- 11:32Speaker 3: It's a bit odd. Mikaela.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Would you like a guy goes out with you twice
- 11:35Speaker 2: and sends you a video, nothing provocative, just him in
- 11:38Speaker 2: a bubble bath.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's weird.
- 11:41Speaker 5: I don't like that.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I don't either.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Sophia, you're on a campus.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yes, they have tubs on campuses. Guy sends a tub video? Bad, right,
- 11:54Speaker 3: I think that's weird. You got no you don't know?
- 11:58Speaker 4: Here for it by totally picture you doing something like this.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Thank you for knowing who I am. So I actually
- 12:05Speaker 2: asked this person clearly in the friend category when she
- 12:08Speaker 2: showed me that video new where I stood, So I say,
- 12:10Speaker 2: can I see something? I'm actually I might take a
- 12:12Speaker 2: bath tonight, but I sent a video that that would
- 12:15Speaker 2: be bad. She's like, yeah, I'm fine with you taking it.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I just don't need to see it. Oh all right,
- 12:21Speaker 2: so it's not so cute.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:23Speaker 5: You know what they say though.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I don't know what they say at all times, especially
- 12:26Speaker 3: when you say yeah, when.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You say what they say, it could be we've never
- 12:29Speaker 1: heard it on the planet never, not one person has
- 12:31Speaker 1: said it.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Actually, they've never said it.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Everybody says this.
- 12:35Speaker 6: There's no day you can't say the wrong thing to
- 12:39Speaker 6: the right person.
- 12:40Speaker 3: They that a good one.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Actually, she I thought she was going to do the
- 12:44Speaker 4: sock one.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I don't remember. But she's right about this.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It has a sock.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Yes, she's right.
- 12:53Speaker 2: If it's the right person. Whatever they do is cute.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Whatever they do is charming.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah, if Michael did this for me second day, third day,
- 13:02Speaker 4: it'd be like, it's a sterical.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But until you, let me say to the guys on
- 13:06Speaker 2: the other side, until you know, don't send the top video, like,
- 13:09Speaker 2: make sure you know that everything you do is cute
- 13:11Speaker 2: and charming before you send a video of you and Sudds.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I'm just saying, I'm just live your life. No, no,
- 13:18Speaker 3: don't listen to her.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm telling you guys, if you go out with somebody
- 13:23Speaker 2: and it stops all the sudden, you can't figure out
- 13:25Speaker 2: why what happened. Kevin is on the line here. Kevin
- 13:29Speaker 2: reached out to us from Midwillshire. Hey keV, how are you, buddy?
- 13:33Speaker 7: I'm good, I'm good.
- 13:34Speaker 2: So you met this amazing woman, you said, here at
- 13:37Speaker 2: a bar in Glendale, right, and her car broke down.
- 13:38Speaker 3: So you saw her and you gave her a jump start.
- 13:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I get I gave her a drip storry. She
- 13:44Speaker 7: needed help. I was I just you know, I had
- 13:47Speaker 7: I had cables, and so I helped her.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Out, Okay, and then tell me what happened. So it
- 13:51Speaker 2: became more than just to help out. It became somebody
- 13:54Speaker 2: that you got her number?
- 13:55Speaker 3: Right?
- 13:56Speaker 7: Yeah? After that, she was like she was just taken
- 13:58Speaker 7: back by the gesture. And then you know, I got
- 14:00Speaker 7: her number, and then you know this went forward from that.
- 14:05Speaker 2: What happened though? What went wrong? You went out a
- 14:07Speaker 2: couple of times. Now you're here. Why are you here
- 14:09Speaker 2: with us?
- 14:11Speaker 7: Yeah? I mean we went on a couple of dates
- 14:13Speaker 7: and I was hooked. And then I asked her out
- 14:16Speaker 7: on a third date, and then she just wasn't interested.
- 14:18Speaker 2: All right, tell me what happened on that last date
- 14:20Speaker 2: before she was uninterested? Can you give me some details
- 14:22Speaker 2: about that date? I, honestly I don't remember.
- 14:25Speaker 7: I took her to a restaurant and you know, you know,
- 14:28Speaker 7: I thought it was a nice place, and she ordered,
- 14:31Speaker 7: I ordered, and then we had a good conversation. And
- 14:34Speaker 7: then next day, you know, I went to ask her,
- 14:37Speaker 7: you know, I took her home. Nothing happened at night,
- 14:39Speaker 7: and then I I reached out for another date and
- 14:42Speaker 7: then she ghosted me.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And you went to the Hollywood Bowl for that last
- 14:46Speaker 2: date to see John Legend.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 14:48Speaker 7: Yes?
- 14:49Speaker 3: Okay, that's a great date.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Expensive, those tickets were expensive.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I remember, something might really wrong, must have happened. Hang
- 14:59Speaker 2: on one second. You you have no clue, no idea.
- 15:02Speaker 7: No, not a not a single clue.
- 15:05Speaker 2: All right, I got you on this, Hang on one second.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Amazing that one person can have no idea after a
- 15:11Speaker 2: date like that and then the other completely blows you up.
- 15:13Speaker 2: But this is what happens. Why, all right, Jenny is
- 15:16Speaker 2: her name. She's on with us next this out Kiss.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So your car breaks down, I'm gonna bring in these
- 15:21Speaker 2: two right now. Your car breaks down. This guy, Kevin
- 15:24Speaker 2: pulls over, he jumps, starts your vehicle, and he asks
- 15:27Speaker 2: you out, takes you to dinner, then he takes you
- 15:29Speaker 2: to Hollywood Bowl one night to see John Legend.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I'm right, it sounds great and a good guy.
- 15:35Speaker 2: If you stopped and helped you out, then you blow
- 15:38Speaker 2: him off completely. That's what happened with Kevin here. He
- 15:40Speaker 2: has no idea. He thought he's doing everything right. And
- 15:43Speaker 2: then Jenny stopped responding and ghosted him. After how many
- 15:48Speaker 2: dates total? Two or three? Two?
- 15:51Speaker 3: And asked her and she said.
- 15:53Speaker 7: Nothing nothing, ghosted me completely.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Now, okay, I mean I don't want to yes, I
- 16:01Speaker 2: don't speculate. I just want to bring him in. Be
- 16:02Speaker 2: very quiet, Kevin, Let's see if anything went wrong, if
- 16:06Speaker 2: you did something you're just totally unaware of.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Maybe it's a learning moment. I don't know. Hold on,
- 16:10Speaker 3: let me bring Jenny in.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Be quiet, and we'll talk to what you listen, Jenny,
- 16:15Speaker 2: thank you for coming on KISSFM.
- 16:16Speaker 3: How are you this morning?
- 16:18Speaker 8: I'm fine?
- 16:18Speaker 7: Thank you good.
- 16:20Speaker 2: So Ryan Sisney telling you here we are on the
- 16:23Speaker 2: air on KISSFM. Hello, we're just calling about this guy
- 16:26Speaker 2: named Kevin. What do you think about when you think
- 16:29Speaker 2: about Kevin? You had a couple good dates with him?
- 16:32Speaker 8: Uh oh yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Okay, goodsh sounds. Tell me about the last date you
- 16:38Speaker 2: went on. How was that with this guy Kevin? And
- 16:40Speaker 2: thank you for taking our call.
- 16:43Speaker 8: Well, I gave him my number and he took me
- 16:45Speaker 8: to see John Legend, which I have to say it
- 16:47Speaker 8: was a pretty spectacular first date.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, in the Hollywood Bowl. Yeah, how is the date?
- 16:54Speaker 2: How was he telling me about him?
- 16:55Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:55Speaker 1: I give us details.
- 16:57Speaker 7: Oh.
- 16:57Speaker 8: Well, you know this is a little weird you calling
- 16:59Speaker 8: me on the radio to ask about him.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I know it's weird for us too. But what's he like?
- 17:03Speaker 2: And is there a reason? We understand? Basically, you're not
- 17:06Speaker 2: talking to him again. So he takes you on this
- 17:07Speaker 2: great date, then you ghost him. Can you just tell
- 17:10Speaker 2: us why you ghosted it and what went wrong.
- 17:12Speaker 8: He's a little impatient.
- 17:15Speaker 2: He's impatient of the rye. But Jenny, what do you
- 17:21Speaker 2: mean by impatient?
- 17:23Speaker 8: Okay, So when we were at the Hollywood Bowl on
- 17:25Speaker 8: our first date, and we were parked down by Franklin
- 17:28Speaker 8: just as we were leaving. The workers at the lot
- 17:30Speaker 8: were long gone, and it was just everyone for themselves,
- 17:32Speaker 8: and he just like went for it.
- 17:34Speaker 9: Man.
- 17:34Speaker 8: He pulled right into those people and they were all mad,
- 17:37Speaker 8: and they were kicking his car and flipping them off,
- 17:40Speaker 8: and then he got all mad. He was just yelling
- 17:41Speaker 8: at people out of his window, and it was just
- 17:43Speaker 8: so not my energy. I hated it.
- 17:48Speaker 2: That rudeness and impatience are very different beasts.
- 17:52Speaker 1: So let's not confuse the road rage.
- 17:56Speaker 2: All right, So, Jenny, you saw him not be nice. Basically,
- 17:59Speaker 2: it didn't sound like he's nice to other people. I
- 18:01Speaker 2: mean he's not considerate. Is that more accurate?
- 18:04Speaker 8: I just didn't like it. One did I dated guys?
- 18:07Speaker 8: It's not fun?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Okay, he's not, well, Jenny, I'm not like, are you fun?
- 18:13Speaker 2: I'm more fun than You're more fun than that. Okay, Well, look,
- 18:17Speaker 2: we're only here to help. I do have Kevin on
- 18:20Speaker 2: the phone. I'm gonna bring him in. Kevin, did you
- 18:23Speaker 2: are you a little inconsiderate to people?
- 18:27Speaker 7: I wouldn't say that. I would Well, yeah, I mean
- 18:33Speaker 7: that's crazy. I mean we weren't going to get out
- 18:35Speaker 7: of that lot without me being just a little bit aggressive,
- 18:38Speaker 7: like we waited for a break in the flow like
- 18:40Speaker 7: we'd been there forever.
- 18:43Speaker 8: We weren't in any hurry.
- 18:45Speaker 3: All right, look, you two, we don't need to know
- 18:47Speaker 3: much more about No.
- 18:49Speaker 2: No, Thank you very much Jenny for taking our call
- 18:53Speaker 2: and being honest with Kevin. Kevin, I think you need
- 18:55Speaker 2: to just maybe take it down a few take the
- 18:58Speaker 2: temp down a little bit on you know, you're not
- 19:02Speaker 2: in patience, but maybe your consideration patience and efficiency and
- 19:07Speaker 2: patience are totally fine, but not be nice. Not fine,
- 19:11Speaker 2: you know, and can consider it not good. So Kevin,
- 19:13Speaker 2: we'll let it go on that. Jenny, I don't think
- 19:15Speaker 2: there's another date right with Kevin for you.
- 19:18Speaker 1: No, absolutely, Kevin.
- 19:21Speaker 3: We have clarity, and that's why you reached out. Kevin.
- 19:23Speaker 2: You're good.
- 19:25Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm good. Thank you.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Ryan, my pleasure.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It was the worst one ever. Yeah, I don't know
- 19:33Speaker 3: that she was so patient. I'm being kids on air
- 19:40Speaker 3: with Ryan Seacrest. It's one or two point seven kiss FM.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Oh man.
- 19:46Speaker 2: You know, when we started doing this show, it was
- 19:50Speaker 2: so fun to I look go to like these places
- 19:53Speaker 2: with my buddies and it would be two am and
- 19:54Speaker 2: they'd be like, are you on the air in the morning,
- 19:56Speaker 2: But yeah, no problem, I can't get three hours of sleep. Nos,
- 19:58Speaker 2: back I do. I mean we started her twenty five
- 20:01Speaker 2: years old bounce back. Our intern is in that phase now,
- 20:04Speaker 2: but she's five years younger, so she can really go
- 20:06Speaker 2: all night.
- 20:06Speaker 3: And now, what what rave did we miss?
- 20:10Speaker 7: What?
- 20:10Speaker 3: Sofia? What rave did you see? Riverside hang out at?
- 20:14Speaker 10: So?
- 20:15Speaker 11: I went to Escape Halloween on Halloween. It's a big
- 20:18Speaker 11: rave in San Bernardino.
- 20:20Speaker 3: M hm, you guys done that one I have back
- 20:22Speaker 3: in the day.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yes, I have one, all.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Right, But Sophia, you didn't have to work the next.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Day, not the next day, but I worked the day of.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Oh you worked the day of and then went to
- 20:31Speaker 3: the rave.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yes, so she was here like at five am.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Okay, and how'd you you felt fine?
- 20:38Speaker 5: I felt totally fine.
- 20:39Speaker 11: I think once I got to the rave, all the
- 20:41Speaker 11: adrenaline of like no sleep and everything, I was just like,
- 20:44Speaker 11: let's do this.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It was the highlight of the rave. I can't get
- 20:46Speaker 3: out here, escape me.
- 20:49Speaker 11: I think the highlight for me was seeing Marshmallow.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Oh man, Marshmallow pulling late nights too. Oh yeah, best
- 20:59Speaker 2: so we saw flo at or I hat radio music fest.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So this guy does his set and then he goes
- 21:03Speaker 2: for a jog and he said me, you want to
- 21:05Speaker 2: come with me?
- 21:06Speaker 3: I'm like, no, I don't want to know. Why can
- 21:08Speaker 3: I go?
- 21:08Speaker 7: For?
- 21:09Speaker 3: Can I host this thing to go for a run
- 21:10Speaker 3: at six in the morning?
- 21:11Speaker 6: Well, because like the adrenaline, I'm sure they can't go
- 21:13Speaker 6: just go to sleep after.
- 21:14Speaker 3: No, I guess that's the thing.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Line Richie for examples on idol, he doesn't go to
- 21:19Speaker 2: bed until four o'clock.
- 21:20Speaker 3: He's been doing that for decades.
- 21:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Like, even when I go to a concert, it's so
- 21:24Speaker 6: hard for me to unwind and go to sleep. I
- 21:25Speaker 6: can't imagine if you're like the performer, it's probably, yeah,
- 21:29Speaker 6: so much worse.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I think that's true.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I always ask I want to know with artists who
- 21:33Speaker 2: are always on tour, when do you eat?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Do you eat afterwards? Late at night? And how's that go?
- 21:36Speaker 3: And what do you have?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Because I would be the person that would be so
- 21:39Speaker 2: hungry after all that adrenaline flows and want to eat
- 21:41Speaker 2: late at night, like twelve and midnight. Even what in
- 21:43Speaker 2: my new life in my next chapter, I am eating
- 21:49Speaker 2: late and I am going to rave with siciney.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Where do we want to go? What's a good rave
- 21:53Speaker 3: we should go?
- 21:53Speaker 1: I would love to bring you to EADC in Vegas.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Not a rave, I want to rave. That's a rave.
- 22:00Speaker 3: That's like is that a real rave?
- 22:01Speaker 7: Yes?
- 22:02Speaker 3: Underground rave?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Oh well do you have to go to a liquor
- 22:06Speaker 1: store and bring an egg and then you get the address?
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I want. Okay, back door rave.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Right right right, okay, I'll find one of those for you.
- 22:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Everybody's they're like, what are you doing here? That kind
- 22:16Speaker 3: of rave?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Totally like I shouldn't be there kind of rave. Kind
- 22:20Speaker 2: of rave they take it, tickets for it.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, you know it's not on the map.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Like Dre's after hours, but like from ten years ago.
- 22:28Speaker 2: That's on the map exactly ten years ago. Take me back,
- 22:31Speaker 2: all right, we'll report back. Let's do it on a Tuesday,
- 22:33Speaker 2: so we have a show on a Wednesday.
- 22:36Speaker 3: You're out on this time?
- 22:37Speaker 5: You got no no chance?
- 22:39Speaker 3: Who's in Mark? Are you in?
- 22:41Speaker 2: Amy's gonna love it? I'm not come on your kids?
- 22:44Speaker 2: We are run into your kids, aren't there.
- 22:45Speaker 3: With the raven age?
- 22:48Speaker 5: Never raver?
- 22:51Speaker 3: I heard rave?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Let's go come on, guys, all right, kiss FM.
- 22:55Speaker 3: What's your point seven?
- 22:56Speaker 2: Kiss FM?
- 22:58Speaker 3: Amy, You've got this guy in your life. You call
- 23:00Speaker 3: him a buff friend, right.
- 23:02Speaker 10: Yes, I do.
- 23:04Speaker 3: You've been with your friend about three years, all right?
- 23:08Speaker 2: And the issue, as I understand it, and why you're
- 23:10Speaker 2: calling us, is that he's antime marriage and you think
- 23:14Speaker 2: he might be stringing you along.
- 23:17Speaker 9: Yes, And why I need advice is because I've been
- 23:21Speaker 9: hearing from a lot of his friends that he always goes, oh,
- 23:25Speaker 9: I'm never going to get married. I'm really oudamant about
- 23:27Speaker 9: never getting married. But he tells me, oh, yeah, you know,
- 23:30Speaker 9: we're going to get married, blah blah blah. And I
- 23:33Speaker 9: don't know. It seems like things are going really well
- 23:36Speaker 9: with us, But I just kind of want to know.
- 23:37Speaker 9: Is he just saying this to me?
- 23:40Speaker 7: Why shut up?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Why is he anti marriage?
- 23:44Speaker 9: Well, what he always tells me is he says, oh,
- 23:46Speaker 9: I don't need a stupid piece of paper to prove
- 23:48Speaker 9: how much I love you.
- 23:49Speaker 4: What he says, I would run in the opposite direction.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Hold on, so bad me. He's a cliche.
- 23:58Speaker 7: But is it it is? Yeah?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Some would say some some would say that after they
- 24:06Speaker 2: got married, things changed and there wasn't the same amount
- 24:11Speaker 2: of good things in relationship. Others would say that's not I.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Mean, I mean, yeah, it wasn't meant to be.
- 24:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'll tell you as somebody that like, I'm gonna say
- 24:26Speaker 2: anti marriage at all, but somebody thought like, I don't.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I don't know that I will because I hear so
- 24:31Speaker 2: many unsuccessful stories. I gotta tell you, I think I've
- 24:34Speaker 2: turned a new leave. All options are on the table
- 24:37Speaker 2: for WHOA.
- 24:38Speaker 6: Somebody mark the day down, mark mark mark, mark it down.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I believe that this is in your future.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's not off the table.
- 24:49Speaker 6: And because of of how intentional you are, you will
- 24:55Speaker 6: make that extra effort not to make it change.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Do you know what I'm saying.
- 24:59Speaker 2: It's not because that it's actually because of partly what
- 25:02Speaker 2: I saw in my father's love for our family as
- 25:06Speaker 2: the most important thing he ever did in his lifetime.
- 25:09Speaker 3: And he made that very clearly week of passing.
- 25:13Speaker 2: To us, and I thought it was so beautiful. So
- 25:15Speaker 2: I don't know he's anti now. If he doesn't feel
- 25:20Speaker 2: like you're the one that he's going to marry, then
- 25:22Speaker 2: maybe that's why he's saying anti. But it's it is
- 25:25Speaker 2: possible that that that leaf could turn as well.
- 25:28Speaker 5: I think you got what is she supposed to do?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Wayh around for him until he makes up his walk away.
- 25:34Speaker 9: Because he tells us to me, but it's it's what
- 25:36Speaker 9: he's been saying to his friend, his friends. It's a
- 25:38Speaker 9: complete opposite and it's pretty much to everybody else. So
- 25:41Speaker 9: it's like, how am I supposed to have this conversation
- 25:43Speaker 9: with him? If all he ever does is basically tell
- 25:45Speaker 9: me the exact.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Same thing, then you are getting a clear sign that
- 25:50Speaker 2: he's not going to be the one that fits your plan.
- 25:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 9: Really, okay, I.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Mean I'm just like, look, you can, you can see
- 25:57Speaker 2: to him, you can say to him, Look, I need
- 26:01Speaker 2: to know that this is a possibility. If not, then
- 26:04Speaker 2: I also need to find that path for myself. Not
- 26:07Speaker 2: an alternatum, but the honesty of it. Otherwise you're gonna
- 26:10Speaker 2: call me back at a year and tell me the
- 26:11Speaker 2: same thing.
- 26:12Speaker 9: Yeah, you're right, you're right, Okay.
- 26:16Speaker 3: All right, Amy, I don't like to be right in
- 26:22Speaker 3: this situation. Wow, not actuation?
- 26:26Speaker 10: All right, Thank you so much.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Bye bye.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't be so rigid, you can't. You've got
- 26:37Speaker 2: to put all options on the table. Well, it's kiss
- 26:40Speaker 2: Veronica and Inglewood. Good morning Veronica, Good morning Ryan.
- 26:44Speaker 10: How are you doing doing well? He had work to
- 26:47Speaker 10: just get in. I'm at work too, And isn't it something?
- 26:53Speaker 3: It is something? What do you do?
- 26:56Speaker 10: I work at a receptionist as a receptionist that at doctors.
- 27:00Speaker 3: All right, what do you have to say when the
- 27:01Speaker 3: phone rings?
- 27:03Speaker 8: Specific?
- 27:04Speaker 10: Nephrology? Good morning? Specific neuphrology?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Okay, was it neurology nephrolog What are you having?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Neurology?
- 27:12Speaker 10: Nephrology? Nephrology?
- 27:14Speaker 3: What's nephrology?
- 27:16Speaker 10: Kidney for the kidney?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Oh, for your kidney?
- 27:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I was wondering how my kidney is doing? And I
- 27:23Speaker 2: hear people get these stones? Aren't they painful?
- 27:25Speaker 7: Hi?
- 27:25Speaker 3: My name is Ryan.
- 27:26Speaker 10: Bryan.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Can thank you for answering? The stones can be real painful, right.
- 27:31Speaker 10: That's true. However, nephrologists do not do you over kidney stone.
- 27:35Speaker 10: That's something that you will have to deal with a jurologists.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Oh, could you connect me to the durology department.
- 27:41Speaker 10: I'm sorry, this is only a nephrologist office. You would
- 27:43Speaker 10: have to reak your primary career.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Now that I have you, what can you do for
- 27:48Speaker 3: my kidney.
- 27:50Speaker 10: So they checked to see if it's failing as they're
- 27:53Speaker 10: no longer if they're treating your earrand and whatnot, and
- 27:57Speaker 10: then it's hope, hope, fully you never get to the
- 28:01Speaker 10: point of dialysis.
- 28:02Speaker 2: No, no, but it's good to check on this stuff.
- 28:04Speaker 2: So I'm just actually now asking as a public service,
- 28:08Speaker 2: what should we what should we do to make sure
- 28:12Speaker 2: that we don't get into a bind with our kidney.
- 28:15Speaker 10: Drink plenty of water and don't overdo the painkillers. Like
- 28:19Speaker 10: at Bell Titan and Novels, I do stay back.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yes, I don't need the doctor.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I got Veronica at the front desk and call her
- 28:28Speaker 2: every day.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Well that was fun, thank you. It was informative as well.
- 28:35Speaker 9: Tickets.
- 28:39Speaker 1: She's like, all right, I did your spiel that you wanted.
- 28:42Speaker 2: That was fun, you know, fre freestyling. How can we
- 28:45Speaker 2: help you this morning?
- 28:47Speaker 10: What we're just wanted to say, we love your show.
- 28:50Speaker 10: It's me and other three girls working at Pacific Nephrologia.
- 28:53Speaker 10: We always listen to you guys, especially Ryan Ross's we
- 28:56Speaker 10: train and to miss it.
- 28:58Speaker 1: No, you try not to listen. You you try to listen.
- 29:02Speaker 10: It's because sometimes we get a little busy, so we
- 29:04Speaker 10: have to kind of bring the.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You got to bring it down.
- 29:07Speaker 3: It's causing kidney stones.
- 29:08Speaker 4: I can tell you that they don't deal with kidney stones.
- 29:12Speaker 3: What other people do you?
- 29:15Speaker 10: Ryan? Listen when people are doing the Ryan Roses thing
- 29:18Speaker 10: and they call, don't jump in so quick. We want
- 29:21Speaker 10: to hear him.
- 29:21Speaker 1: How many times.
- 29:25Speaker 5: He's like jumping Jimmy.
- 29:28Speaker 10: Yes, I know, stop praying, don't do it there.
