- 0:01Good day.
- 0:02Welcome to the midday report on the America Out Loud News Talk Radio Network.
- 0:06The countermomentum of spin.
- 0:08I am your host, Dr.
- 0:09Franco Musio.
- 0:10To our friends listening in the United States and around the world.
- 0:13Well, as I said last week, there's no lack of hard news items to keep our adrenaline going.
- 0:19Our aim, though, our aim clearly is to dissect out the nuances and underlying causes.
- 0:24What we're going to talk about is a whole lot.
- 0:27And foundations of these events with which we come into contact with continuously now.
- 0:33And in real time, as we speak.
- 0:36Therefore, the title of this broadcast, TikTok no longer.
- 0:40The Iranian Bull has been taken by the horns.
- 0:43I am thrilled and privileged to introduce now the second time, retired naval aviator, Captain Kenneth Rauch, Dutch for short, so I may call him Dutch.
- 0:53He is too humble for his own stature in the world of aviation.
- 0:56I'm going to tell you that right at the onset.
- 0:59He graduated from the U.S.
- 1:00Naval Academy in six 1966, after which time his career skyrocketed, uh, no pun intended.
- 1:07So just to name a few, set the stage here.
- 1:10He was U.S.
- 1:11Navy fighter weapons school, which is Top Gun instructor.
- 1:15He's a Canadian Forces College, Toronto Canada instructor.
- 1:19And particularly that on his resume is going to help us in this discussion, I think.
- 1:24He's flown over 320 combat missions as an attack pilot, deployed twice to Vietnam, flew the A-4 Skyhawk, the A70 aircraft, of course, here.
- 1:34After the above, he became a test pilot for numerous aircraft to include the F-14 Tom Cat the Grumman.
- 1:42That was seen in Top Gun One.
- 1:44The Top Gun Maverick, the F uh 18 Super Hornets, he uh his son flew.
- 1:50So the Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
- 1:54Many accolades he has to include the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism, an extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight.
- 2:02So due to his work, he's also an academician.
- 2:06Uh due to his work and the development of the shuttle aircraft, Captain Rauch was awarded a PhD from MIT's Navy Air Ciscom program.
- 2:15He retired in 1993 as an 06, although I I would say he's like an 020 by now, or he would be, although remains an expert in East East Asian affairs and naval aviation, but he's also a student of geopolitics.
- 2:30So we're gonna go into the geopolitical implications of what's going on right now.
- 2:35Um Captain Rauch, Dutch, welcome.
- 2:38Welcome again to the show.
- 2:39Good morning, thank you.
- 2:41Thank you.
- 2:42Um I you know, uh in your resume, there's so much there, and I missed a few other things, but that's okay.
- 2:47Um I I just want to lay the groundwork uh as an introduction for Captain.
- 2:54What?
- 2:55Take off the grid.
- 2:56Take what is it?
- 2:58Oh yeah, take your crown off, take your crown off, yeah.
- 3:01Uh record.
- 3:05But it's all true.
- 3:07It's not bullshit.
- 3:08It's all true.
- 3:10So I'm gonna unleash you to the audience in just a little bit.
- 3:14But um, we're gonna try to divide this, uh, see how it goes segments that we're gonna have segment one now, the current war theater, and then we're gonna go into segment two, the strategic planning and execution of what's going on as we speak, and then thirdly, the geopolitical implications.
- 3:31So to lay the groundwork, the assets are just overwhelming.
- 3:37Um for Operation Epic Fury, the U.S.
- 3:40code name, and Operation Roaring Lion, which is the Israeli uh codename Saturday morning, uh the 28th of February.
- 3:48U.S.
- 3:49Naval and Air Force assets, Israeli military assets, also they've been all well trained from recent operations.
- 3:56Uh well, I would say mainly the Israelis, the intelligence activities, the Israeli Massad, no better, the CIA, no better, and covert activities going on again as we speak.
- 4:07So following the 12-day war in June 2025, Operation Rising Lion, Israel demonstrated uh and continues to hold just overwhelming intelligence, they have air and demonstrated air superiority, intelligence and covert operations, drone capabilities, they have a multi-layered missile defense with our help, strike aircraft, the fifth generation F-35 stealth fighters and F uh 150 jets, the key assets for long-range precision strikes.
- 4:37What we have it just I'm blown away.
- 4:41Two carrier strike groups, the USS Abraham Lincoln, uh, and and Dutch, uh interrupt me whenever you wish.
- 4:48So USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea in the Ocean, and then now USS General Ford, the Eastern Mediterranean, they carry Super Hornets, F-35 C Lightning, uh, two fighters, they have uh F-18s, they the carrier strike groups are are also a whole group, kind of a city within a city.
- 5:07They they have oh my goodness.
- 5:09Uh, I'm gonna go on.
- 5:10They have destroyers, they have uh they have at least one guy cruisers, they have frigates, they have nuclear powered attack submarines.
- 5:18We have submarines aside from those, uh, you know, uh separate from those two.
- 5:24We have long-range B-2, P-52 bombers.
- 5:28Uh by the way, the B-2s, we had them in I don't know how many knows this.
- 5:32Uh two days ago they left Missouri, just like the last time, went to Iran, did their work, and came back again, just like the the prior in this summertime.
- 5:41We have bunker buster bombs, so that's what they use the GBU uh seven massive ordinance penetrators, mops, the electronic warfare, the uh 18G EA 18G growlers to jam the uh uh the Iranian surveillance, and battleships, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, uh, as I said, undisclosed submarines.
- 6:03Now the French want to get into the uh not facetiously the party, they're deploying the Charles de Gaulle, the aircraft carrier.
- 6:11We have bases in Qatar, we have bases in Jordan, and by the way, they're you know, incoming or coming, or are attacking the UAE.
- 6:20Uh so yeah, so I have some questions for you.
- 6:24We're gonna be talking here.
- 6:26So, questions for Dutch Captain Rauch.
- 6:30The Massad, I'm gonna start with the Massad.
- 6:32Now, do you think they have a leg up on the CIA?
- 6:35Uh clearly they work together.
- 6:37They work together, but their concentration is on and has been on Iran.
- 6:43So my understanding is they have people who speak Varsi perfectly, including the slang and etc.
- 6:50Plus, they're they're they're in a depressed economy in Iran.
- 6:55They have more and more informants, they're paying them.
- 6:58So I talked enough here.
- 6:59I spoke enough.
- 7:01I think the guy that poured the the I had T was probably Mossad.
- 7:07Uh-huh.
- 7:09Interesting.
- 7:10Interesting.
- 7:10It wouldn't uh it wouldn't uh put me past him anyway.
- 7:14Yeah.
- 7:15Yeah.
- 7:16Interesting, interesting.
- 7:17So you're talking about double agents.
- 7:20Yeah.
- 7:22Double agents.
- 7:23Um could be, and then you know, I'm gonna talk about maybe uh maybe a first year agent.
- 7:30That's the way the Israelis do things.
- 7:33So posing as as uh an Iranian and uh yeah, yeah, and then right in the middle.
- 7:39So we don't have Americans doing that, do we?
- 7:43No.
- 7:44No.
- 7:45Or or could we?
- 7:49We have second tier uh work completely CIA.
- 7:52Mm-hmm.
- 7:53When you say second tier you say second tier, what do you what do you mean by that?
- 8:00They're paid informants.
- 8:02Okay.
- 8:03Because the Americans, you know, we can't put Americans on the ground.
- 8:08Because they look like Americans.
- 8:12Unless they're unless they're Iranians that have come to the U.S.
- 8:17and yeah, expatriates, yeah.
- 8:21Um, isn't that odd that there were a number of people all together and on a Saturday morning?
- 8:28Uh I wanted to talk about this a little bit later, but we can talk about it right now.
- 8:32Isn't that very strange that all of them got together knowing that something was gonna happen?
- 8:41Could it be their bravado?
- 8:43They're they uh nobody can touch us.
- 8:46Uh, you know, uh we're there there's no way that they're gonna attack us.
- 8:51How could they not think that they would be targeted all together?
- 8:56Well, I think they probably thought that uh their place could not be demolished like it was.
- 9:06Well, yeah, they just got together is true question of the wind because they thought they were safe.
- 9:11They thought they were safe.
- 9:12Okay, so even if they were attacked, they thought in the back of their minds that nope, nobody's gonna touch us.
- 9:18Uh well, at least we during the State of the Union, we have all of those uh everybody together, the cabinet, the president, the vice president.
- 9:28I I gather there's one person who is not there, who's the designated president if if the whole capital is uh is bombed uh and everyone dies during that, correct?
- 9:40Uh but but anyway.
- 9:43Designated survivor.
- 9:45Um, so I guess in the back of their minds, no, we will not be targeted, but if we are our our structures would not be would not collapse.
- 9:54So the objective events that are occurring as we speak.
- 9:59Now,
- 10:00We're recording the day before this is uh coming to air, but the uh chairman of the joint chiefs of staff just just gave a briefing, and clearly it's very fluid.
- 10:11Uh uh we would like to know more.
- 10:14We don't have embedded media uh uh as we did with the army, as we did during the Iraq uh invasion.
- 10:22But what do you think about that?
- 10:25That there's a deficit of information here.
- 10:29I think it was all done first purposefully.
- 10:32Uh they don't want leaks and just invite the embedded media would have been a tip off to the uh the attack.
- 10:46Well, maybe they could put some in setcom, but I don't understand.
- 10:53No, they wouldn't do that.
- 10:55They they wouldn't do that.
- 10:56So um there was more action or reporting during the Iraqi campaign.
- 11:03Uh, but no, I can understand that.
- 11:05Uh but Iran's response.
- 11:07Now they're they're launching missiles against the Gulf states and everybody at everybody.
- 11:13So there's been 10 total countries so far.
- 11:17I mean, you got Iraq, you have Cyprus, you have you have airports, hotels, civilian infrastructures, Dubai, and Kuwait International Airports.
- 11:26Uh I I guess everywhere we have a military presence, they're they're attacking.
- 11:33And uh do you think we thought about that?
- 11:37No.
- 11:39You don't think a golf uh coalition.
- 11:45You know, we don't touch each other.
- 11:47And that's been the Iranians.
- 11:51Um hidden behind that thing for a long time.
- 11:56The Gulf Coalition.
- 11:58They just yeah, they just uh you know attacking their neighbors, you know, showed how much they care for the coalition.
- 12:07They made enemies out of damn near everybody.
- 12:10So, which is good for us.
- 12:12Um but do you think I guess we had all kinds of plans or potential outcomes?
- 12:18You think we thought about this ahead of time?
- 12:21The United States?
- 12:22No.
- 12:22Oh no.
- 12:24No, I don't think so.
- 12:26Really?
- 12:28I don't know, but I wouldn't I wouldn't imagine that we did.
- 12:32Okay.
- 12:32So for example, what just happened last night.
- 12:36Three of our um fight F-15s, I believe, or F-35s were shot down by friendly fire.
- 12:43Fields in F-15s.
- 12:46F-15s, F-15s in Kuwait.
- 12:48Uh, but there was friendly fire.
- 12:51And uh they all ejected.
- 12:54But that's uh yeah, I'm curious.
- 12:56What happens when aircraft are destroyed, our aircraft.
- 13:00More aircraft come from the United States to replace them.
- 13:04I always thought so.
- 13:06No.
- 13:06I always thought about no.
- 13:09Okay.
- 13:10I always thought about that.
- 13:11Well, given the duration of what's going on, I don't think there's time to get them over here.
- 13:15Mm-hmm.
- 13:16Well, we'll see how long how long this lasts.
- 13:19Well, we're gonna talk about how long this lasts.
- 13:21We're gonna talk about strategy in the next segment.
- 13:24But um you said this was not foreseen, but if you look, uh the missiles have hit, as I said, the the capitals.
- 13:33So UAE, uh Abu Dhabi, and then Dubai, Qatar.
- 13:37In fact, yesterday a friend of mine, his brother was there in Dubai, and as we spoke, he was hearing the fighter jets, and uh he was hearing bombs in the background.
- 13:47Not good.
- 13:48I was saying, you know, please tell them to get to cover, get to cover.
- 13:52This is so Qatar and Doha at Bahrain, uh, Manami, capital of Bahrain, the Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and the eastern eastern region, of course, Kuwait, we were talking about.
- 14:01Now, the Gulf Cooperation, GCC, Gulf Cooperation Council.
- 14:06I gather they're coordinating a response, but what is that response going to be?
- 14:11I gather more bombs against Iran, more missiles against Iran.
- 14:17And they should know precisely what the targets are.
- 14:21So it makes it easy.
- 14:23Okay.
- 14:24And just it's a matter of uh what level of uh offense they want to take to this.
- 14:33So what so like for example, Saudi Arabia?
- 14:37Uh uh uh uh uh how well groomed are they for combat anyway, do you think?
- 14:42My my guess is that not really.
- 14:44Yeah, yes, the Saudis and Qataris.
- 14:48No, they're in good shape, they're in good shape.
- 14:50They have lots of uh uh modern uh munitions aircraft.
- 14:57All U.S.
- 14:58supplied yes.
- 15:00So they're good.
- 15:02Uh and I gather U.S.
- 15:04trained pilots as well.
- 15:08Um so you know, the defense systems is it a surprise, of course.
- 15:14When when you have just a barrage, you're some are gonna get through.
- 15:18But my understanding is that so for example, in Bahrain, we have the Patriot system, PAC three, Patriot Advanced Capability uh system, the missile segment enhancement MSE system, uh countering incoming missiles, and but we have the Fifth Fleet there.
- 15:36We have U.S.
- 15:36Naval Forces Central Command.
- 15:39I I I gather the umbrella is the um, which is in Tampa, Florida.
- 15:46Uh which what I just learned is that that they govern military operations in the Mid East, the Central Asia and parts of South Asia.
- 15:53They're in Tampa.
- 15:55But in Bahrain, the Fifth Fleet is there, and and we've had missiles even with the defense anti uh uh aircraft, so anti-missile systems.
- 16:06Is it a surprise to you that they have gone through?
- 16:09UAE.
- 16:09We have the Thad system, the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and Saudis, the Thads at Pac-3, Qatar, Israel has my goodness gracious.
- 16:18The Iron Beam to David Sling, the Patriots, the Arrow 2 and 3, the Iron Dome, Thad.
- 16:24Um, what is your assessment of that, Dutch?
- 16:29These missiles are getting they were not not effective or they weren't alerted.
- 16:35One or the other.
- 16:37Okay.
- 16:38I mean, the fact they they hit Fifth Fleet headquarters area.
- 16:44In the case to me, they they weren't in the ready.
- 16:47Or they were not uh well, just not ready.
- 16:51Just not ready.
- 16:52We know those.
- 16:53Yeah, we know the systems take them out.
- 16:55And they certainly would have got the missile.
- 16:58So apparently they didn't even fired.
- 17:02My goodness.
- 17:02All right.
- 17:03Well, hold tight, everyone.
- 17:05Oh, go ahead.
- 17:06That's a mystery.
- 17:07That's a mystery.
- 17:08Hold tight.
- 17:09Uh, we're gonna take a break.
- 17:11We're gonna go to commercial break, and when we come back, we're gonna talk about strategic planning and execution of what's currently going on as we speak.

- 19:51And we are back.
- 19:52We are back.
- 20:00That's what you told me off air, the air defense systems, which I thought, okay, ONN, what the hell does that mean?
- 20:06On and complacency.
- 20:09I don't understand that.
- 20:10I don't think our audience would understand that either.
- 20:13Um how I don't understand.
- 20:15We have these all these air defense systems in these Gulf nations, we have major assets, Air Force bases, and other assets.
- 20:25Why wouldn't they be operative?
- 20:28Um I have no idea.
- 20:30No idea.
- 20:31That's the question.
- 20:32That's the question for the hot wash-up.
- 20:34Okay.
- 20:35All right.
- 20:36So uh so you said complacency.
- 20:39So for whatever reason, they didn't think this through.
- 20:44I guess so.
- 20:45Okay.
- 20:46All right.
- 20:47Well, and if they're scratching their heads like we are right now, that's not good.
- 20:52I would think that all of these planning, all of the planning and strategies, and you taught at the war college in uh in Toronto, uh, would take this into account, I would think.
- 21:05I would hope so.
- 21:07Okay.
- 21:08But it didn't.
- 21:09It didn't.
- 21:10It didn't.
- 21:12All right.
- 21:12Let me talk about their strategies.
- 21:14Let's go into that.
- 21:16So the strategic planning and execution.
- 21:18Um, so what when you're when you're teaching war situations, and when you're going through it, so we have a war college here in Washington, DC.
- 21:30War colleges all over the United States, the world, and you taught.
- 21:34Now, you're coming from a naval naval background, but and you make fun sometimes I guess interagency or inter uh branches of the service funded each other.
- 21:47But clearly the Air Force, the Navy, the Marines, uh, the army, if the army, but in this case, no, have to all work together.
- 21:57Do you think the Iranian military strategies are all in disarray?
- 22:01They're they're just shooting everywhere.
- 22:02You intimated that before.
- 22:05Yes.
- 22:06Very much so.
- 22:08Okay.
- 22:08Their command and control has been taken down from the top.
- 22:12The I toll is gone, the head of the uh IRGC is gone, and now we're down to local commanders executing the war.
- 22:23And we have no it's no cohesion.
- 22:26You know, we don't have a coordinated uh attack, excuse me.
- 22:37And just left his uh yeah, so uh no coordination, you're saying the Iranians themselves.
- 22:44So they're down to lieutenant colonel levels, colonel levels at this point, not the target.
- 22:50Right, and they're just they're just shooting willy-nilly to get everything off the their target list.
- 22:56Okay, you know, whatever rocket site they got, mostly missile sites.
- 23:02Okay, so whatever they have.
- 23:04So that puts us at a significant advantage if they're just going nuts and not having a cohesive plan.
- 23:13Um but I gather the same question I have for you.
- 23:18In i if you're planning war, you're the underdog.
- 23:23I well, I don't know what they you know, I have no idea.
- 23:25I'm gonna talk about their culture in just a moment here, at least my thoughts.
- 23:30Wouldn't you make amends or uh uh not amends, but wouldn't you make plans?
- 23:34Well, if our top tier is gone, this is what we do.
- 23:38Uh this is you know ABCD, that this is the uh MO modus operandi.
- 23:44Shouldn't they be doing that?
- 23:47Or they should have.
- 23:50Oh, they should have.
- 23:51Yeah.
- 23:52Yeah.
- 23:52So so I I'm just trying to get at their thought processes, which I gather as I said, we're gonna talk about that in just a little bit.
- 24:00Okay, but wait a minute.
- 24:02Yes.
- 24:02Their command structure was very, very uh stove.
- 24:09It started with Aetola and went down.
- 24:12It didn't go down and spread out like a uh normal chain of command.
- 24:18You're saying it's ruled with our so yeah, you're saying it stayed with him, period.
- 24:24Right.
- 24:25And and they didn't have the foresight to think, how about you know, last summer that because he already designated a vice Iatola or somebody to take his place?
- 24:34I so in other words, they had their structure is well, we have the head of the military, we have this, we have that, but but they would be essentially uh worthless or or feckless or or uh not only inefficient, but have no real function.
- 24:53Am I wrong about that?
- 24:54I mean, I'm right.
- 24:55Well, that's good.
- 24:56That's right.
- 24:57Okay.
- 24:58All right.
- 24:58Well, that's to our advantage.
- 24:59Yeah, yeah, I guess it's uh gives us something to attack, which he did and quite successfully.
- 25:05Okay.
- 25:06Now we're having to do we're having to deal with a command structure which has been fragmented.
- 25:14That's to our advantage is also to a disadvantage because now we have a lot of rogue actors in the fields, it's doing what they want to.
- 25:25We cannot count on them uh conducting war in the normal way.
- 25:32The Iranian way, it's just that's a good thing, is it not for us?
- 25:39Well, we're playing whack-a-mole now.
- 25:43Okay.
- 25:44So if you think they because uh this is what I understand.
- 25:49There's a uh it it almost sounds like this.
- 25:53It sounds like you know, if you see an anthill, and you see all the ants, you know, going up and down, and then your foot goes on the anthill, and then it crushes the anthill.
- 26:06What do you see after that?
- 26:08The ants off ants.
- 26:11They no, no, they try to they try to make another anthill.
- 26:17Don't they?
- 26:19Yeah, but they try to make another anthill.
- 26:22So is it kind of like that, the analogy of what's going on there?
- 26:28Because now I understand there's a three-person temporary committee.
- 26:32They're calling it the interim leadership, I guess, committee or council.
- 26:38And the three, at least I heard last night, one is uh Massood Pazaskian.
- 26:45He's the president of Iran.
- 26:47Now, the president of Iran has zero power.
- 26:51I guess any of these would have zero power under the Ayatollah.
- 26:54But anyway, one is this person.
- 26:55The the other one is the chief justice of Iran.
- 26:58He's got like 10 names here, but Masani Agil.
- 27:02And then there's a senior cleric.
- 27:04You gotta get them in there.
- 27:06So Ali Reza Arafi.
- 27:07So there's three people in this temporary council who are theoretically running running the country right now.
- 27:17Then there's gonna be an 88-member assembly of they call it the assembly of experts.
- 27:23They're gonna work to select a new permanent supreme leader.
- 27:27Now, um is it not the goal of the United States and Israel to completely wipe out the theocracy, so that they're not able to uh to elect a new supreme leader, much less you know, have these uh the the top top layer of uh uh of institutions still.
- 27:54I should hope so.
- 27:56So what you did what you just described to me is that all three branches are normal, what we consider branch of the government are all one.
- 28:07There's uh religious uh aspect, and then the legislative and judicial and executive, it's all part of the same government, right?
- 28:23Right with an a religious overlay.
- 28:28Well, let me tell you something.
- 28:29If I were oh go ahead.
- 28:33If I were one of these individuals, I I would be very scared because I would say, well, wait a minute, they have incredible uh covert operations.
- 28:45I'm gonna die too.
- 28:47I'm gonna be targeted as well.
- 28:49Don't you think they think that or know that?
- 28:52Yeah.
- 28:54Yeah.
- 28:55So in other words, um the way the military way is to get rid of so hence the ants rebuilding the anthill.
- 29:07Okay, that's what they're doing.
- 29:09I think.
- 29:10But um, that's not very smart from their standpoint because I think it's just gonna be volleys and volleys and volleys of uh weapons destroying them, destroying this the structure, which would be the ultimate goal.
- 29:27Because what is the goal?
- 29:28The goal is, I mean, this was asked of of Trump and others.
- 29:33What is the goal of our attack?
- 29:36So that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon.
- 29:38Well, it goes beyond that.
- 29:41It goes beyond that.
- 29:42It's retribution.
- 29:43Now you think backwards, retrospectively.
- 29:47Right.
- 29:47Right.
- 29:48So all the way back to eighty three.
- 29:52The uh bombing of the embassy and the barracks.
- 29:58There were hundreds killed.
- 30:00Americans.
- 30:00You're talking about by Hezbollah.
- 30:03Yeah.
- 30:04In in Lebanon.
- 30:05Well, has blood.
- 30:07Hezbollah and the uh Ayatollah chain of command.
- 30:12I I can't see the difference.
- 30:13Right.
- 30:13Exactly.
- 30:14Exactly.
- 30:15One and the same.
- 30:16One and the same.
- 30:17And you know, kind of a side note.
- 30:19Side question is I'm surprised Reagan was an excellent president, President Reagan, but he did not uh respond to that.
- 30:29As far as I know.
- 30:31We did not attack.
- 30:33Why do you think that that was you know kind of a big blemish on his presidency, I think.
- 30:40But again, I'm not an insider.
- 30:43I'm looking looking outside in.
- 30:46Well, what would your thoughts be about that?
- 30:49I don't know.
- 30:49Maybe we just didn't want to have a Middle East war.
- 30:52Did not want to have that simple.
- 30:57That's simple.
- 30:58But you know, let me let me talk about the uh U.S.
- 31:01side of this thing for a second.
- 31:03Please.
- 31:04We've got uh your uh intro was the bull, the Iranian bull has been taken by the horns.
- 31:11I would submit that uh we have taken the bull by the tail.
- 31:16Okay.
- 31:17We don't know what to do with them.
- 31:18And we don't know what to do with them.
- 31:21Well, well, that assumes you mean after we destroy them.
- 31:25Right.
- 31:26Because we're in that process right now.
- 31:29Yeah, which is a long and tedious process.
- 31:33So you're talking about after this ends, after this finishes.
- 31:39Yeah, it's gonna be harder to define a finish.
- 31:43Um, yeah, because you know, when I'm looking at this, so uh basically we want another revolution there.
- 31:50And uh I'm thinking a layered removal of the top, which is what we're doing, and then the subtop, and then the middle echelons.
- 31:58So now the colonels and lieutenant colonels.
- 32:01I I don't know if there's even a navy, I don't think there's a navy anymore, but removing them and just having the IRG, the Iranian revolutionary guard there, so the lower lower echelons, and then they're saying the technocrats.
- 32:17So the the bureaucrats, the civilians, um, get rid of the top and have them and assist the citizens free, the citizens re in terms of conducting or constructing a democracy.
- 32:32What say you about that?
- 32:33Well, you know, there's only there's only 20,000 IRGC and about 90 million Iranians.
- 32:41So they're badly outnumbered.
- 32:43We just gotta hit the scales to make that 90 million take on the IRGC.
- 32:52Mm-hmm.
- 32:53What about what about the civilians?
- 32:56Oh, go ahead.
- 32:57Well, that's the civilians.
- 33:00The 90 million civilians.
- 33:03Right.
- 33:04And I think that the only way you're gonna do that is uh them forcibly take over the government.
- 33:14This is difficult because as we have long talked about gun control in this country.
- 33:21They have gun control in their country.
- 33:23It's a hundred percent.
- 33:24They don't have guns.
- 33:26Right.
- 33:27I heard one commentator, he was actually a four-star general, and he was asked uh, well, what do you do?
- 33:34They don't have guns, so how are they gonna take over?
- 33:37Meeting the citizens.
- 33:38He says, I don't know, knives.
- 33:40I thought, wait a minute.
- 33:42Wait a minute, knives.
- 33:44Okay, you can only go so far.
- 33:46But my understanding is many, many civilians are in cahoots with the uh with the religious uh the the government, right?
- 33:55They're hand in hand.
- 33:56They're the top, if you want to say top echelon of the of the uh civilians, you know, of the companies and such.
- 34:04They're they're they're together with the government.
- 34:07Uh they're they're just as uh evil and corrupt, they're filthy, filthy rich, whereas those under them are not.
- 34:17Um so you need to get rid of them too, because I suspect that they would be pro-government or pro-theocracy as well.
- 34:26Oh, yeah.
- 34:29But we need to dismantle the connection between religion and government.
- 34:33Right.
- 34:34Right, right, exactly.
- 34:36But I would think, I mean, you were at the war college in Canada.
- 34:40Uh these things need to be to some extent thought out.
- 34:44I mean, you you don't just destroy the country and leave the people to destroy themselves, unless you still need to get rid of the theocracy, and part of the thought is that they're going to be vying for power, so you're dealing with their egos, uh, and they all want power.
- 35:04And potentially they're gonna kill themselves.
- 35:06They're gonna implode.
- 35:07I I don't know.
- 35:09But but maybe.
- 35:10Maybe.
- 35:12Yeah, that's a big question.
- 35:14Yeah.
- 35:14And then like I said, we got a target by the tail.
- 35:19By the tail.
- 35:20So you don't think we have we have them by the horns yet.
- 35:23But it's only day two right now.
- 35:25Well, it'll be day three by the time everyone hears this, but but it's still it this is in its infancy, uh in terms of what what's going on militarily.
- 35:36And uh, you know, maybe just one one day at a time, but what's gonna happen afterward in Iraq?
- 35:41My understanding is that okay, the shock and awe.
- 35:46We left the cabinet completely devoid, and we said no, that what is the Bah Party, Bahista Party, and and then the people we did not want left a power vacuum, then they occupied the cabinet.
- 36:02So the the infrastructure of the country was a mess after we left.
- 36:09And in fact, I I think if it were not for 9-11, we would not have been there in Iraq.
- 36:15But uh and then I mean, talk about the complexity.
- 36:18I I um the complexity is kind of overwhelming because I wrote an article.
- 36:25I I just want to mention this and see what you think.
- 36:28The cultural underpinnings of the United States calling Iran's bluff.
- 36:31And I wrote this at the end of June.
- 36:33This was right after Midnight Hammer, and and I'm gonna get into this a little bit in the next segment.
- 36:39But I I'm gonna read to you one paragraph, and and I want to see what you think, Dutch.
- 36:44So in the beginning I wrote here, it is common knowledge per our tireless American envoys and those involved in Middle Eastern diplomacy, that interactions with the Iranian regime and their representatives have been fraught with decep their deceptions, invasive techniques, and errant lies.
- 37:00There are many proposed rationales for this behavior, uh, which has quote unquote strung along our negotiators, including those from other nations for years, during the early morning hours, uh, and then I were here for years, particularly prior to President Trump's order to carry out Operation Bendite Hammer during the early morning hours.
- 37:19So basically, they uh they don't have their act together, not only with negotiations, but in self in self-government is my thought.
- 37:32Well, the uh Iranian stringing us along, no surprise.
- 37:37They have a name for it.
- 37:40Which I'll pronounce uh uh mispronounced, but tequila.
- 37:45Not the drink.
- 37:46Uh terophing, terophing, terophing.
- 37:50Is it terophine?
- 37:51But maybe they have a few different names.
- 38:00Uh-huh.
- 38:01Is it is what it's called.
- 38:03And it's the ability, in fact, the command of the Quran to lie about everything to protect the religion.
- 38:10Yeah.
- 38:11And the government.
- 38:12Yeah.
- 38:12Well, I'm going to hold you there.
- 38:14Time goes by fast.
- 38:15We're going to have to stop for another commercial break, Dutch.
- 38:18And when we come back, Captain Rauch and I are going to talk about this and geopolitical implications in what's occurring as we speak.
- 38:27So hold tight.

- 40:00Political fabric been more threatening.
- 40:02Well, the America most of us have grown up with.
- 40:05And law under a relentless and pernicious siege from those carrying the banners of socialism.
- 40:12And Marxism.
- 40:14America out loud dot news is the antidote to these poison is America out loud.
- 40:22News is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outlook.
- 40:32And we are back.
- 40:34So Captain Brown.
- 40:35So Captain Rack, I mentioned is a student of geopolitics.
- 40:40And I'm gonna have him kind of take the reins here in terms of uh because we're gonna talk about China, Russia, et cetera, et cetera, the implications.
- 40:49But in terms of geography, Captain Raj wants to talk about that just for a moment for our listeners.
- 40:56So please.
- 40:57One of the things this we we have to consider is the Persian Gulf itself and how it's um arranged.
- 41:05There's a at the bottom of the Persian Gulf South E.
- 41:10So Hormuz.
- 41:12That's a body of water is about 120 miles long and 20 some odd miles wide.
- 41:19It's it's well when you got your fists in your chest.
- 41:25It's very, very prominent, very shallow water.
- 41:30And all the oil that comes out of the Persian Gulf out of Iran goes through the Straits of Hormuz.
- 41:38That is chill point, which the Iranians are trying desperately to use.
- 41:44They're playing hell with the uh shipping in the Persian Gulf.
- 41:50And when it comes down to China, just to jump ahead, the Chinese are largely dependent on Iranian oil, which they've been buying on the black market.
- 42:04So this is gonna hurt them big time.
- 42:06I don't think so so much the Russians.
- 42:10Russians are in a uh difficult place to get the oil to.
- 42:17But uh Chinese ports are are an easy easy ride from uh the Persian Gulf.
- 42:26And we've been shipping oil to them for a long time.
- 42:31United States.
- 42:33Yeah.
- 42:34No, no, Iran, Iran, yeah.
- 42:38Right.
- 42:38Right.
- 42:39So the Straits of Hormuz, this is why the stock market is gonna be extremely volatile.
- 42:44Did we not think about that ahead of time?
- 42:46That the Straits of Hormuz would be would be an issue.
- 42:49Yes.
- 42:50And we've got a missus?
- 42:53Yeah, don't don't we have assets, many assets right around there to to, in fact, didn't we we destroy most of the R uh the Navy, the Iranian Navy, uh, which would be involved with that, uh, the Straits of Hormuz, of blocking the Straits of Hormuz?
- 43:13Well, we took out their major radar site just south of the Straits of Hormouth, Strait of Hormos.
- 43:19Oh, Jask, and uh that got wiped out real early in the uh in the fighting.
- 43:30And we put a uh missile shooter in the in the strait.
- 43:36But we're protecting it.
- 43:38So, which is a good thing, obviously.
- 43:41Uh so our attack is still in its infancy.
- 43:43But did you you notice yesterday Great Britain?
- 43:46The Prime Minister said, well, uh now uh we can use their air bases to um for defensive operations.
- 43:55I don't know what defensive defensive operations I would I would guess someone interpreted that meaning that we would still attack Iran, their missile sites in interpreting that as defensive, which is fine, which is fine.
- 44:10But but now, you know, as I said before, France is the Charles de Gaulle, which is which is good, which is good, and and hopefully all the within 24 hours, all the European nations will uh jump on on board.
- 44:24But uh, isn't it the European role that they want to stay aren't they more at risk, much more at risk from Iranian nuclear warheads who would hit them much earlier than the United States.
- 44:36They have a political risk too.
- 44:40A political risk, yeah.
- 44:42Yeah, the number of Muslims is are in their countries is huge, right?
- 44:47And they have to bow bow down to that.
- 44:51Right.
- 44:52I I was thinking that.
- 44:53Well, the the vast number of Muslims is their um their fault, number one, but number two, most of the Muslims in Iran, meaning the population is very anti-Muslim.
- 45:08In other words, anti-theocracy.
- 45:10So you have Muslims, the vast majority in Iran are again, and oh, and we didn't talk about the ages.
- 45:17The the majority of people are below the age of what 35 or so 62 percent or more or below 35.
- 45:24They they don't want to be Muslim, but they're uh uh uh or or nor revolution.
- 45:30Yeah, or they don't want to uh uh uh uh uh ascribe uh to that to their their way of uh religion, if you will, but I guess then the Muslims in the European countries are different.
- 45:42Don't know, it's a mess.
- 45:43It's it's always been a mess.
- 45:45Always been a mess, right?
- 45:48Aren't the Iranian Shia?
- 45:51Uh-huh.
- 45:52Yeah, yeah.
- 45:53Well, well, well, most I think, instead of Shiite, Shia, right.
- 45:59Well, you have Shia and Shiite, good point.
- 46:02Good point.
- 46:02They can't stand each other within the same religion.
- 46:04Yeah, that's a good point.
- 46:06Good point.
- 46:07Um, do you remember when we flew um so who is it uh uh in Libya?
- 46:15Uh commander or Colonel Gaddafi, and we wanted to take him out, and we but France would not allow us to fly over their airspace, so we had to fly from Britain all around the western flank or uh west of of uh maybe Spain too to get to Libya, and and that was under Reagan too.
- 46:39So that kind of reminded me of um of the situation as well.
- 46:44That do you remember that, Dutch?
- 46:46That we couldn't uh we couldn't fly over.
- 46:49One of the B1's yeah, one of the B1s crashed in the med.
- 46:56That was ascribed to uh the fact that they fly with uh drugs, and they they were fatigued.
- 47:04Oh they flew into the water.
- 47:07Ugh.
- 47:09Meaning they were they were so so fatigued, so tired.
- 47:13Um that's not good.
- 47:16Um you were talking about China, and there's gonna be a U.S.
- 47:21China meeting, Xi Jinping and Trump at the end of this month.
- 47:25But what about this?
- 47:27The U.S.
- 47:28selling oil to China and Russia.
- 47:33Because it's no longer coming out of Iran.
- 47:39I think it's a good thing.
- 47:40We can control price, we control supply.
- 47:45Do you think they would they would do that?
- 47:47Do you think I'm meaning the Chinese and Russians?
- 47:49Because if that's the case, which would be wonderful.
- 47:53They have to.
- 47:54Um other choice.
- 47:58So Trump may know this or may have foreseen this, or his security uh his his advisors, I think are very, very good.
- 48:09But um, you know, like you said, the onswitch was not on for our air defense missiles in the Gulf states, but clearly in terms of foreign policy, the beneficial some of the beneficial side effects of invading Iran would be kind of kind of a new world order, kind of, and the leverage, the American leverage in these relationships with China, Russia, North Korea.
- 48:36I don't I don't know so much North Korea, but the big players are China and Russia.
- 48:40And and then just recently removing Maduro and uh Cuba Cuba is in the wings, is it not?
- 48:49This is all part of the the uh art of the deal.
- 48:52Mm-hmm.
- 48:53Mm-hmm.
- 48:54I I bet you they've got planning for every single one of these eventualities.
- 49:00Yeah, it started with Maduro.
- 49:02Cuba's falling, like like we said, oil's cut off.
- 49:07They can't, you know, they uh they're uh equivalent to the FAA announced to uh the world that uh commercial airplanes can't come in there because they can't refuel.
- 49:20Can't go into Cuba.
- 49:23Cuba, right?
- 49:24So there's no fuel.
- 49:26Okay, commercial versus flying over Cuba, because we have so many commercial airliners flying over Cuba to get to uh South America and the Caribbean.
- 49:41Well, that's good for the United States.
- 49:45Yeah, it is.
- 49:47All of this is good for the NSC.
- 49:48I can't believe that uh Russia China equation has been considered, and uh we've got a plan for them too, as far as oil is concerned.
- 50:01So oil, so we got them by the ball, so to speak, by the testicles.
- 50:06Because oil right now has always been the uh the fuel, so to speak, not no pun intended, but the fuel for everything, right?
- 50:17For everything for life.
- 50:20Um so if that's the case, and the leverage is is so much more going to be in the the uh the court of the Americans.
- 50:30I'm thinking ahead of time, thinking about Russia and Ukraine.
- 50:34So Russia, you know, Russia's playing around, playing around, playing around.
- 50:38They they don't want peace, they want the eastern part of uh Ukraine.
- 50:44And they're stalling, stalling, stalling, stalling all this garbage, just like the Iranians were.
- 50:49But if uh you know, including the sanctions against Russia, if all of a sudden they're their oil supplies cut off, uh my goodness, that'll change the equation completely in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
- 51:04Well, you know, that was used very effectively against the Japanese in World War II.
- 51:10We cut off their oil from uh in Asia and Brunei.
- 51:21And forced them into war.
- 51:22Yeah.
- 51:23Yeah, because of no oil, no oil.
- 51:26So it's almost like you you cut off the supply to the drug addict, you cut off the heroin and and opium and you know, cocaine and so forth to the drug addict.
- 51:38What are they gonna do?
- 51:39They're gonna start stealing to uh to get more drugs because they're addicted.
- 51:45Again, not a good analogy, maybe not a good analogy, but kinda, kinda, something like that.
- 51:52Um yeah.
- 51:54All right, what do you think about this?
- 51:56I I know what you're gonna think.
- 51:58The UN yesterday, yesterday.
- 52:01Uh so there was an emergency.
- 52:04I I yes.
- 52:07They um was the Security Council.
- 52:10The Security Council uh met, and I think every month, every month, uh the the non-permanent members of the Security Council can be the quote unquote president of the Security Council.
- 52:23I something to that effect, and and ironically enough, it's been Iran recently.
- 52:28Iran's also been the head of the human rights council.
- 52:31There you go.
- 52:33China, China as well.
- 52:35So the the head of the UN, of course, denounced the the US and Israeli invasion of uh of uh Iran, and um, and the EU as well.
- 52:48Now, today, today's tomorrow, uh, you're gonna have certain members of Congress, and as usual, they're gonna denounce the invasion.
- 52:58Explain that to me.
- 52:59Explain that to me.
- 53:06Yeah.
- 53:07Um, yeah, but but it it's it's more than that.
- 53:11It it's almost like almost like they how could an invasion of Iran and removal of the theocracy not be a good thing.
- 53:27How could it have nothing to do with it?
- 53:29It's nothing to do with Iran.
- 53:32It's all get Trump.
- 53:33Get Trump no matter what.
- 53:40Um I agree with you 100%.
- 53:43But when you were faced with what you were for many years in Vietnam, of course, there was tremendous protest against Vietnam, the Vietnam War.
- 53:54And we had talked about that in a prior show.
- 53:56You know, you were you're going under the Golden Gate Bridge, and you thought you thought that the civilians were were there cheer, cheering for you.
- 54:05It was the exact opposite.
- 54:07But but the president, right?
- 54:10And I'm sure it was not not fun at that time, um, emotionally very difficult.
- 54:15But uh, but um the president at the time, is it Johnson and then Nixon uh and they had many people against them too, uh against the administration.
- 54:30So almost like it's almost like, well, like I was mentioning to you, it's not about Iran, it's about getting Trump, or it's not about Iran, it's getting whoever the president is, because um kind of kind of because I think of the hypocrisy, yes.
- 54:52You're making an equivalent between the uh Vietnam War and this war.
- 54:57I I won't even call it right.
- 54:59Don't even call the what's going on in Iran, don't even call it a war.
- 55:03It's not.
- 55:06Good point.
- 55:07It's a military operation.
- 55:09Right.
- 55:10Yeah.
- 55:11And it's of short short duration.
- 55:13It will be short duration.
- 55:15Good point.
- 55:16I'm just trying to get into the minds of these people who are protesting any military action by the United States.
- 55:24Um, because do they have nothing else to do?
- 55:27Meaning they have nothing else but to protest uh uh you said it's Trump, but and I gather, I guess you're right.
- 55:37It's all one side of the aisle.
- 55:46And there's one other I can't remember who it was were very vocal about this, but uh I'm no scholars uh constitution, but when I read the constitution, this is perfectly legal.
- 56:01And in terms of common sense, how are you going to get how are you gonna get Congress together, have to vote on a quote unquote war, okay, or military operations with the bureaucracy involved with that, and it's not only a leak, it's it's you uh it it's untenable.
- 56:24You can't invade a country uh uh and even even you know Marco Rubio was uh I guess was it the gang of A?
- 56:34Yeah, it was he was he was briefing before we did a couple days before or a day before.
- 56:39And there was a leak.
- 56:41And there was a leak.
- 56:43And I don't think it was a Republican leak.
- 56:45I think it was I I'm guessing a Democrat leak.
- 56:48And that's not good, clearly.
- 56:53So exactly, so that's my point.
- 56:57That's a trader small T.
- 57:00Trader with a small T, not a big T.
- 57:02Yes.
- 57:03We're gonna have to stop.
- 57:05We're gonna have to stop.
- 57:07Uh, as we said, things are going on as we speak.
