- 0:00Speaker 1: And I want you to picture this.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's your first day at school or maybe your first
- 0:03Speaker 2: day at a new job, and you're going to introduce
- 0:06Speaker 2: yourself to your new classmates or your new coworkers. And
- 0:10Speaker 2: as you're doing this, you realize, oh my god, I
- 0:14Speaker 2: have got my zipper about completely down. I'm getting some
- 0:17Speaker 2: free air conditioning. But no, this is one thousand percent
- 0:22Speaker 2: happened to me in school in eighth grade. Caught with
- 0:25Speaker 2: zipper down. It was like the third day of school too,
- 0:28Speaker 2: so it wasn't even you know, months in where you
- 0:30Speaker 2: got yea third day of school, just caught with my
- 0:33Speaker 2: zipper down, which is something I am extremely guilty of
- 0:36Speaker 2: all the time.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I just forget now when you're in eighth grade, seventh grade,
- 0:43Speaker 2: pretty embarrassing.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yes, when I'm an adult, you know, I really don't care.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Good night.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like your embarrassment meter goes my way down.
- 0:53Speaker 2: The older you get one thousand percent true. And it
- 0:56Speaker 2: turns out that being embarrassed is good for us. It
- 1:00Speaker 2: actually serves a social purpose. Now, being embarrassed in front
- 1:05Speaker 2: of a bunch of people sounds like an absolute nightmare. Yeah,
- 1:08Speaker 2: for a lot of people, but it helps it us
- 1:11Speaker 2: acknowledge our mistakes. It signals remorse, and it maintains group harmony.
- 1:17Speaker 2: If you are caught doing something dumb or something to
- 1:20Speaker 2: be embarrassed about, people are actually more willing to forgive
- 1:24Speaker 2: you and be a lot nicer to you after the
- 1:25Speaker 2: fact that.
- 1:27Speaker 3: They're gonna say you all laugh in harmony at the
- 1:29Speaker 3: person doing the embarrassing thing. You know what, I could
- 1:33Speaker 3: see how this is a thing if you yourself are embarrassed.
- 1:36Speaker 3: What I think is not good for anyone. Secondhand embarrassment.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I hate it because you can't do anything to stop it.
- 1:44Speaker 3: When you yourself are embarrassed, you can try to take measures
- 1:47Speaker 3: to mitigate.
- 1:48Speaker 1: That, yeah, like laughing off or go so far over
- 1:51Speaker 1: the top that.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah, But when it's someone else doing an embarrassing thing
- 1:56Speaker 3: and you just have to cringe and watch, it's the worst.
- 2:00Speaker 2: What's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Now that we've learned it's good for us seven oh
- 2:05Speaker 2: one two eight zero one nine eight seven that was
- 2:09Speaker 2: an embarrassing thing in school. There was also this time
- 2:11Speaker 2: I was walking up these steps. I was in tenth
- 2:14Speaker 2: or eleventh grade, I was a junior. I was walking
- 2:16Speaker 2: up these steps in school and I was right next
- 2:19Speaker 2: to this girl I had the biggest crush on. I mean,
- 2:21Speaker 2: sixteen year old Gabe was swimming for this lady. And
- 2:25Speaker 2: let me tell you, rip fell right up my face.
- 2:29Speaker 2: My book bag goes fly, and my notebooks are It
- 2:32Speaker 2: was the worst.
- 2:34Speaker 1: To this day, I still get like my shoulders.
- 2:36Speaker 3: No, I'm watching you tell it and you look like
- 2:39Speaker 3: you want to shrink away.
- 2:40Speaker 2: It was terrible, but you know what, it made be
- 2:42Speaker 2: a stronger human. To this day, I learned what rejection
- 2:45Speaker 2: was real quick. Uh, Whitney, what was your most embarrassing moment?
- 2:50Speaker 3: One time we were doing pull ups and gym class and
- 2:53Speaker 3: like the fourth embarrassing. But when I tried, I accidentally
- 2:56Speaker 3: started in front of everyone. I about died and I
- 3:00Speaker 3: think about it to this day.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That would do it? That is the worst kind of
- 3:05Speaker 1: gas thing.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, that really I felt that in.
- 3:08Speaker 1: The soul for you girl, do you what would do
- 3:11Speaker 1: you have? Some of that was really embarrassing.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Oh you know what.
- 3:12Speaker 3: When I was in high school, I was a theater
- 3:15Speaker 3: kid and we were doing dress rehearsal and like invited
- 3:19Speaker 3: other classes to watch the dress rehearsal of our play,
- 3:22Speaker 3: and we were supposed to walk down this catwalk thing
- 3:25Speaker 3: and I don't know what happened, but I stepped off
- 3:29Speaker 3: of the catwalk thing and I just flat out fell.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Into the audience. Oh no, so embarrassing.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And I mean I was in costume, but everything where
- 3:39Speaker 3: where it shouldn't.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It was a yeah, everything's worse too when you'd look
- 3:43Speaker 2: a little out.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I looked ridiculous. I was playing an old lady
- 3:47Speaker 4: and it was like, well, this.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Is appropriate, isn't it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Hey's Variety, Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe and Angie.
- 3:56Speaker 2: We get sunshine today and a hive seventy eight maybe
- 3:59Speaker 2: dealing with a little for portions of the morning here.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And that is also a sentence I haven't been able
- 4:05Speaker 2: to say in a while.
- 4:06Speaker 1: No, not Sonny in seventy eight.
- 4:08Speaker 2: No, not dog walking weather, but Gabe and Angie. Je
- 4:14Speaker 2: Angie has returned, which is a massive victory in and
- 4:19Speaker 2: of itself. Despite having the show I always hoped and
- 4:23Speaker 2: dreamed of for my no.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I'm sure, Oh you're solo.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So I am very glad to have Angie back in
- 4:30Speaker 2: the studio. The vibes are high, and we're gonna have
- 4:33Speaker 2: some fun today. Thankfully Angie is back. We're not riding
- 4:37Speaker 2: the ship's solo anymore. So that is not a little victory, Angie.
- 4:41Speaker 2: That is a big victory here today. But we are
- 4:43Speaker 2: gonna have some little victories because we start every show
- 4:45Speaker 2: off on a positive note. If you have a little victory,
- 4:49Speaker 2: share it with us. Seven oh one two eight zero
- 4:51Speaker 2: one nine eight seven.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I've got a little victory, Gabe, that I'm so so
- 5:00Speaker 3: excited about.
- 5:01Speaker 4: So if you know me, you know I am a
- 5:03Speaker 4: Bravo hollick.
- 5:04Speaker 3: So any and all reality shows on Bravo are my
- 5:09Speaker 3: jam and I'm a huge vander Pump Rules fan.
- 5:12Speaker 4: And Sheina just released.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Her memoir My Good Side, and I did not want
- 5:18Speaker 3: to waste an audible credit on it, but I did
- 5:20Speaker 3: get to listen to it on Spotify during the road
- 5:23Speaker 3: trip that Mikey and I took to go to a wedding.
- 5:27Speaker 3: And after listening to this book, which was I give
- 5:30Speaker 3: it a four out of ten. But after listening to it,
- 5:33Speaker 3: Mikey wants to watch vander Pump Rules.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Really, Yes, I'm so excited.
- 5:39Speaker 3: So we started our vander Pump Rules Journey Yesterday, Season one,
- 5:44Speaker 3: episode one, and it is just very exciting to have
- 5:48Speaker 3: my partner as invested in a Bravo reality show as
- 5:52Speaker 3: I am.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I mean, I couldn't be prouder.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It is nice when you and your significant other can
- 5:58Speaker 2: find a show that you both in too, and you like,
- 6:02Speaker 2: there's actually the threat of if you watch this without me?
- 6:06Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, I love that.
- 6:08Speaker 3: So this is very exciting and it's interesting to see
- 6:10Speaker 3: his reactions so far because the show is eleven seasons long.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I've been known what happens, but it's interesting to see
- 6:19Speaker 3: where how like as we go like, oh I like her? Wait,
- 6:22Speaker 3: I don't think I like her. He seems like a
- 6:24Speaker 3: cool dude, and I'm like, oh, you just wait till
- 6:26Speaker 3: season far right? Yeah?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but yeah, that's my little victory, Gabe, what's yours?
- 6:31Speaker 2: I have a little victory today that involves chef boyar
- 6:35Speaker 2: glitden over here. Your boy is not much of a cook,
- 6:37Speaker 2: and I don't really pretend to be, but you know
- 6:40Speaker 2: I'm not incompetent.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Okay, right, you can make more than toast.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I can make more than toast. And today we are
- 6:46Speaker 2: having some kebabs at the Glidden House, and yesterday, what's it.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Called where you make the marinate a marin just in sync?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Right there? A marinade.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yesterday I followed that recipe to a tea and I
- 7:00Speaker 2: get to find out today if it is dog water
- 7:03Speaker 2: or oh, I'm sure it's great, I cannot wait. And
- 7:06Speaker 2: if it's bad, I'm gonna be real bummed. But I
- 7:08Speaker 2: think I did pretty good. I think I did pretty good.
- 7:10Speaker 2: On the way, we have David Ghetta and Angie will
- 7:13Speaker 2: have the tea coming up for you here on Big
- 7:14Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven. We also really hope Angie sticks
- 7:21Speaker 2: around for the rest of the day because, let me
- 7:23Speaker 2: tell you, the show just is not the same when
- 7:25Speaker 2: you're flying at solo. How was your how was your
- 7:29Speaker 2: much deserved well deserved vacation?
- 7:32Speaker 1: What were you doing?
- 7:32Speaker 4: It was really nice?
- 7:33Speaker 3: So road tripped it out to Chicago to visit some
- 7:37Speaker 3: friends and family, and then from Chicago went to Elkhart, Indiana,
- 7:42Speaker 3: because I was a bridesmaid at one of my dearest
- 7:45Speaker 3: friend's wedding and it was beautiful, Like you know how,
- 7:50Speaker 3: you know how we all know those couples.
- 7:51Speaker 4: That shouldn't get married, and you see them get married
- 7:54Speaker 4: and you're like, that's not gonna last.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Opposite of that, My friend Tara and her now husband
- 8:00Speaker 3: Jordan super meant to be.
- 8:02Speaker 4: It was a joy to celebrate them.
- 8:04Speaker 3: And I was a little worried because I had to
- 8:07Speaker 3: wait last minute for my bridesmaid's dress to get and
- 8:10Speaker 3: we all wore different ones. We were just had to
- 8:12Speaker 3: all be in the same lilac color.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's gotten really popular.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's because this the one kind of dress isn't
- 8:19Speaker 3: gonna fit everybody type, you know whatever, So I get
- 8:22Speaker 3: this dress.
- 8:23Speaker 4: It fit great.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I thought I looked arill, adorable. We do the ceremony,
- 8:29Speaker 3: it's a delight. But after the ceremony, we had to
- 8:33Speaker 3: shuttle ourselves over in a party bus to the Botanical
- 8:36Speaker 3: Gardens to do the pictures, the bridal party pictures. Right, sure,
- 8:42Speaker 3: And this is where everything took a turn, Gabe. I
- 8:45Speaker 3: mean I had a wardrobe malfunction that I thought, I'm
- 8:48Speaker 3: not returning to the venue for the reception.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I can't.
- 8:53Speaker 3: This is what happened, Gabe. It was hot and muggy.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I know here it was super hot, right, that's how
- 8:59Speaker 3: it everywhere everywhere where is a heat wave, baby, and
- 9:03Speaker 3: It was so muggy and gross, and I was not
- 9:07Speaker 3: aware of how much moisture my the fabric on my
- 9:12Speaker 3: dress would show.
- 9:13Speaker 4: And someone looked at me in the bridle party and said, oh,
- 9:16Speaker 4: did you get water on you?
- 9:18Speaker 3: Bruh?
- 9:19Speaker 4: I looked down.
- 9:20Speaker 3: No, it's not water. I was sweating so profusely because
- 9:24Speaker 3: of how hot it was. What looked like someone was
- 9:28Speaker 3: dousing me with water. No, it was boob sweat, it was.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Belly sweat, was lower back sweat.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I mean, I looked disgusting, Gabe, And if they don't
- 9:39Speaker 3: like retouch, these photos in post her wedding photos are
- 9:43Speaker 3: gonna look like trash because of the big, sweaty broad
- 9:46Speaker 3: on the end. It was so ugly and I thought,
- 9:49Speaker 3: there's no way I can't. Then we had to go
- 9:51Speaker 3: back to the venue and everybody was getting called up
- 9:54Speaker 3: individually to be introduced to the rocky theme, and so
- 9:59Speaker 3: we were gonna have to go upstairs.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Everyone's looking at us like.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Here comes Jake escorting Angie, and I was like, I
- 10:06Speaker 3: cannot do this right. They'll think I was in However
- 10:09Speaker 3: many rounds you do boxing?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:11Speaker 4: They'm like, was she actually rocking?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Like? What is this?
- 10:16Speaker 4: So when we got back on the party bus.
- 10:18Speaker 3: There was a pole and I went up to the
- 10:22Speaker 3: driver and I was like, listen, I need you to
- 10:24Speaker 3: do like soldier boy and crank that acy because I'm
- 10:28Speaker 3: so sweaty. I am dying, and so I'm like hanging
- 10:31Speaker 3: off of the pole the air vents blowing on me.
- 10:34Speaker 3: The rest of the bridal party comes on and they're like,
- 10:37Speaker 3: are you about to do a show for us, girl?
- 10:39Speaker 3: And I was like no, no, no, I'm like no,
- 10:43Speaker 3: I'm just so sweaty. I need to dry or I
- 10:47Speaker 3: cannot go back in that venue. But everything worked out.
- 10:50Speaker 4: We went in.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I was dry, It was fine. Other than that, the
- 10:55Speaker 3: wedding was a success and I was very happy to
- 10:58Speaker 3: be there.
- 10:58Speaker 2: That is something I do think couples need to start
- 11:01Speaker 2: acknowledging about July weddings.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Do you know what is so funny? I went through
- 11:05Speaker 1: the exact same thing.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I was the best man in my buddy's wedding, and
- 11:10Speaker 2: of course he gets more like a dark suit, right,
- 11:13Speaker 2: So yeah, hides everything when I tell you we had
- 11:16Speaker 2: the lightest grain.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh god, bro, it was ninety seven degrees. It was July.
- 11:24Speaker 2: We all these all this poor groomsmen are just dying
- 11:28Speaker 2: in these light gray outfits.
- 11:30Speaker 1: It's like, what are you doing to us right now?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Gabe.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I promise when you're inevitably in my wedding to Mikey
- 11:37Speaker 3: because he's so obsessed with you, we will either.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Have it in a very temperature control time or you
- 11:43Speaker 4: can wear something dark.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That's all I ask.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Beyonce reunited with Destiny's Child Cowboy Carter, and there were
- 11:57Speaker 2: a lot of excited people.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Yes, in the hometown of Las Vegas. It was the
- 12:03Speaker 3: final show of her Cowboy Carter tour. Yes, and up
- 12:08Speaker 3: comes Kelly and Michelle flanking her on either side. I mean,
- 12:13Speaker 3: and they were so in sync. Obviously, I've gone down
- 12:15Speaker 3: this rabbit hole. And if you look at the videos,
- 12:18Speaker 3: they are walking so in sync that even the height
- 12:21Speaker 3: of their feet, like with the right foot stepping forward
- 12:25Speaker 3: the exact same height, Like it's just a ah.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I love it. I love to see it.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I watched their farewell tour in Vegas at Mandalay Bay
- 12:33Speaker 3: like twenty years ago. Oh sure, And to see them
- 12:37Speaker 3: reunite was everything. Can they just reunite and do an album?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah? And I was wondering that.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So you see the reunion like that like a one
- 12:45Speaker 2: off a lot easier to pull off that full group maybe,
- 12:49Speaker 2: but you know, it kind of makes you wonder, like
- 12:51Speaker 2: why can't certain groups bands?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Like why can't you just reunite? What makes it so hard?
- 12:57Speaker 4: Yeah? Doing so?
- 12:59Speaker 1: What or what group?
- 13:01Speaker 2: If you had to pick one, would you want to
- 13:04Speaker 2: see reunite? Maybe for like five shows or ten shows
- 13:09Speaker 2: or something. You're probably not gonna get a full album,
- 13:11Speaker 2: but just a handful of shows. Sevensidency Yeah, seven oh
- 13:15Speaker 2: one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Who would you pick, Angie if you had a choice.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Okay, this group came together on our TV screens on
- 13:25Speaker 3: a TV show on ABC years ago, decades ago.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Oh Town, Oh Town, all or nothing, wasn't I Jammysten?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 13:41Speaker 3: They were so good And they reunited for a little
- 13:44Speaker 3: bit on an MTV reality show about the band maybe
- 13:50Speaker 3: like fifteen years ago. Gosh, I'm really dating myself with this.
- 13:53Speaker 3: But I need them to all come back together. I
- 13:55Speaker 3: feel like sometimes some of them get together to do
- 13:58Speaker 3: like Ashley Parker, Angel hooks up with some of the
- 14:00Speaker 3: guys sometimes to do little whatever. I need Old Town
- 14:04Speaker 3: all the way. Okay, get back together, make me an album.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I will buy a bajillion copies of it if that
- 14:11Speaker 3: is the motivation, Like, please, I loved Old Town and
- 14:14Speaker 3: I want them all or nothing at all.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Well, I'm kind of getting my wish here. In twenty
- 14:20Speaker 2: twenty five. Uh, this group is reuniting for a tour.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I don't think they're gonna make it over to America,
- 14:26Speaker 2: but two.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Days got it. If I could see.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Oasis you Live back together, that would be a big
- 14:34Speaker 2: deal for me. That would be pretty fun. They were like, well,
- 14:37Speaker 2: there's a lot of those older bands that I really loved,
- 14:40Speaker 2: but this was like.
- 14:41Speaker 1: The the one.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You know, I've never seen a brother rivalry like Nolam Gallagher,
- 14:48Speaker 3: like bro Lot. It's nice that they can set aside
- 14:52Speaker 3: their differences enough for this tour. People when they were
- 14:55Speaker 3: buying tickets were worried that by the time the show
- 14:57Speaker 3: started they would have already split again.
- 14:59Speaker 4: But so far are so good. But this is a
- 15:01Speaker 4: good call. I like this.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so I asked this on Facebook, and I think
- 15:05Speaker 2: it's either carry or Carry has a really good call.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I don't know how possible this is is some of sadly.
- 15:11Speaker 2: These older bands, you know they're losing members, but it
- 15:13Speaker 2: would have been really cool to see Fleetwood Mac get
- 15:15Speaker 2: back together, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nick. Okay, but maybe
- 15:19Speaker 2: they are, Yeah they might. Yeah, they have had some members,
- 15:24Speaker 2: you know, sadly not around. But it's just watching Destiny's
- 15:27Speaker 2: Child get back together was massive. I think there's a
- 15:30Speaker 2: lot of young people who would love maybe a little
- 15:32Speaker 2: bit of this to get back together.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Oh yeah, one direction missing one.
- 15:39Speaker 1: They are missing one. It'll never be the same, vite.
- 15:41Speaker 3: But then maybe they would come back because he left
- 15:45Speaker 3: before and maybe since they're down one zane, it'll be like, fine,
- 15:49Speaker 3: I'll come back.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Then this is sorry, not sorry. We say the thing
- 15:58Speaker 3: you're thinking, but are too polite to say. We die
- 16:01Speaker 3: on the hill of controversial opinions, So you don't.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Have to GiB who's or what is your beef with today?
- 16:10Speaker 1: All right, I'm sorry to everybody who disagrees, but not sorry.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm really not sorry.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Plain regular T shirts are genuinely way superior to teas
- 16:23Speaker 2: with all of the designs and all of the logos
- 16:26Speaker 2: on them. There are a lot of young people who
- 16:28Speaker 2: are gonna one hundred percent disagree with me today. There
- 16:32Speaker 2: are a lot of young individuals wearing T shirts that
- 16:35Speaker 2: are just too loud and too busy. I have almost
- 16:39Speaker 2: an entire wardrobe of plain teas, and I would pick
- 16:43Speaker 2: them any day over your loud, bright, annoying looking shirts.
- 16:49Speaker 2: All right, Why I dislike teas with designs so much?
- 16:52Speaker 2: They're so corny? Sometimes they really are so corny, And
- 16:56Speaker 2: even if I find one that I like, it feels
- 16:59Speaker 2: just weird wearing all this stuff on my chest. I
- 17:03Speaker 2: can't take it. I prefer plain teas, which are simplistic.
- 17:07Speaker 2: They're nice, and they fit any mood and don't make
- 17:10Speaker 2: you seem like any kind of person. You can instantly
- 17:13Speaker 2: judge someone from Afar by the T shirt they're wearing.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Oh my god, the band.
- 17:17Speaker 2: You know, the band, the plain white tea's. They should
- 17:19Speaker 2: be added to the greatest bands of all time, in

- 21:31Speaker 2: of that movie. You're a bit of a movie buff.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yes I am.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And a big movie being talked about online right now,
- 21:37Speaker 2: both positively and negatively.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Is happy.
- 21:45Speaker 3: And let me tell you I will not give spoilers
- 21:48Speaker 3: only because it like kind of just came out, so
- 21:50Speaker 3: if you haven't had time to watch it, I don't
- 21:52Speaker 3: want to spoil anything.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Here's the thing.
- 21:55Speaker 3: The negative responses on social media are wild to me
- 21:59Speaker 3: because there's this narrative as though Happy Gilmore two is
- 22:04Speaker 3: supposed to be some Oscar winning masterpiece, comparing it to
- 22:10Speaker 3: like The Godfather Part two.
- 22:12Speaker 4: If you watch the original Happy Gilmore, it's.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's a Billy Madison, you know, offshoot, like it's that
- 22:21Speaker 3: type of humor.
- 22:22Speaker 4: It's silly, it's goofy.
- 22:23Speaker 3: It was never meant to be super serious, and Happy
- 22:26Speaker 3: Gilmore Too follows that same vein.
- 22:29Speaker 4: I love all of the cameos.
- 22:32Speaker 3: There are so many cameos from people from the first
- 22:35Speaker 3: movie and just cameos from all the golfers because it
- 22:39Speaker 3: is a golf movie. I was really impressed that if
- 22:43Speaker 3: you watched the show Full Swing on Netflix, which follows
- 22:47Speaker 3: around pro golfers. In the latest season, there was like
- 22:51Speaker 3: an episode where they were talking about how they were
- 22:55Speaker 3: gonna be featured in Happy Gilmore Too, and you got
- 22:57Speaker 3: to see them film with Adam Sandler.
- 23:00Speaker 4: It seem like they were just gonna be small cameos.
- 23:03Speaker 3: When you watch the movie, they really had an integral
- 23:06Speaker 3: part in a lot of the golf scenes, and they
- 23:10Speaker 3: really rose to the challenge. They were really funny and
- 23:13Speaker 3: it was just a good time. There were really good
- 23:17Speaker 3: flashback sequences to the original movie so that it could
- 23:21Speaker 3: tie in really well to what's happening in the in
- 23:24Speaker 3: the current film. And I love when he puts his
- 23:28Speaker 3: daughter in the movie. She's in it, both of them, Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 3: his wife. Yeah, both daughters are in it, and his
- 23:34Speaker 3: wife are in it.
- 23:35Speaker 4: It was just a good time all around.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I watched it while I was very tipsy for the
- 23:40Speaker 3: first time, okay, and then I watched it a second
- 23:43Speaker 3: time sober so I could see like, maybe if I'm sober,
- 23:47Speaker 3: I'll agree with the haters online.
- 23:49Speaker 4: No, it's a good time. Is this Oscar worthy? Absolutely not.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Is it fun and nostalgic.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Yes. Is it a great background movie to just throw
- 24:00Speaker 3: on when you're like folding laundry or doing dishes.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Yes. So I give Happy gilmore to a thumbs up.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I really enjoyed it.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I also enjoyed it. I had a good time watching it.
- 24:12Speaker 2: If you go into it just wanting to have fun,
- 24:15Speaker 2: I believe you'll have fun exactly.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 3: If you go into it as like, oh, I'm the
- 24:21Speaker 3: next Roger Ebit and I need to really criticize this film,
- 24:27Speaker 3: then you're just a miserable person.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Get over it, and we do have Gabes good news
- 24:33Speaker 2: of the day. Before we get to Gabe's good news
- 24:35Speaker 2: of the day, the real good news. Angie is back
- 24:38Speaker 2: and it's so nice to have you in the studio again.
- 24:41Speaker 2: The energy is just different when you're around Electric. You
- 24:45Speaker 2: might say, I'm just glad you're back.
- 24:47Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be back doing a show with you, Gabe.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I have genuinely missed you, like and I know I
- 24:53Speaker 3: was on vacation and I was busy, but there were
- 24:55Speaker 3: moments where I was definitely like, I can't wait to
- 24:57Speaker 3: tell Gabe this. I can't wait to tell gab that.
- 24:59Speaker 3: And that's when I realized weird friend.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Weird besties.
- 25:03Speaker 2: That's right, all right, Gabe's good news of the days good.
- 25:09Speaker 2: There is a golfer, as we just talked about the
- 25:12Speaker 2: Happy Gilmour movie, Yeah, there is a golfer who made
- 25:16Speaker 2: a hole in one a day after he turned ninety
- 25:21Speaker 2: years old, so he is like ninetieth birthday. He had
- 25:27Speaker 2: one of the coolest things that could happen in all
- 25:29Speaker 2: of sports happened to him. He used his driver on
- 25:33Speaker 2: a par three and without getting like too much into
- 25:35Speaker 2: the weeds. A two hundred yard par three is plenty
- 25:37Speaker 2: of par three, all right, and to be able to
- 25:41Speaker 2: just dunk it at ninety years old is incredible. He says,
- 25:45Speaker 2: he doesn't see that great anymore, so he didn't even
- 25:48Speaker 2: know it went in in the first place. He took
- 25:51Speaker 2: up golf when he retired. He's been playing for thirty years.
- 25:54Speaker 2: This year's playing almost as long as I've been alive.
- 25:57Speaker 2: It is his first ever hole in one, which which
- 26:00Speaker 2: is so cool because my father is seventy, like four
- 26:04Speaker 2: years old, seventy three, seventy four. He started, you know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: playing golf when he was like twelve. Yeah, never has
- 26:10Speaker 2: hit a hole in one in all of he Now
- 26:12Speaker 2: he has like albatrosses, which is a two to one,
- 26:15Speaker 2: a part five without getting two golf nerdy on you,
- 26:18Speaker 2: but he's never hit a hole in one in all
- 26:20Speaker 2: of his years of golfing. So whenever I hear or
- 26:23Speaker 2: see a whole in one story, I'm always like, oh.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Heck you, And this guy's ninety, So your dad still
- 26:27Speaker 4: has time.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He still does, all right. The world's full of nice people.
- 26:30Speaker 2: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
