- 1:08Speaker 1: You're so close with you. There's a fun thing we
- 1:12Speaker 1: do at Bustle with the boys. Whether it's Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Monday,
- 1:16Speaker 1: whenever there's a football game on, boys, just start putting
- 1:20Speaker 1: in the group chat. You know, fan duel here. I
- 1:22Speaker 1: got this parlay, I got this parlay. I don't even
- 1:24Speaker 1: look at the parlays. I just hit him and I
- 1:27Speaker 1: put on whatever on it responsibly, responsibly. But I just
- 1:31Speaker 1: love to be in the action with my dogs. Yeah, absolutely,
- 1:34Speaker 1: And Will had a ten legger college football, everything was
- 1:38Speaker 1: going according to plan, literally everything ever until the Dogs until.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It was and I could have should have, I don't know,
- 1:47Speaker 3: cashed out. There's a part where I should have cashed out,
- 1:51Speaker 3: And honestly, I was thinking I should hit this cash out.
- 1:54Speaker 3: There's no way George is gonna get this ball back
- 1:57Speaker 3: and move the ball down to score and take the lead.
- 1:59Speaker 3: And but I held it because I say it's like, hey,
- 2:02Speaker 3: what if we want Baman to win, maybe I have
- 2:04Speaker 3: to stay on this parlay if I get out to
- 2:07Speaker 3: all of a sudden, Georgia wins, and then I'm kicking
- 2:09Speaker 3: myself both ways, yep. And I wanted to cash out
- 2:12Speaker 3: just so I could be like I want to cash
- 2:13Speaker 3: out and just vibes because it's not like I'm gonna
- 2:16Speaker 3: sit there and be hype in G's face if Georgia
- 2:18Speaker 3: comes back rights, but I could cash out and just
- 2:21Speaker 3: go all in on like route for Baman to win
- 2:23Speaker 3: this game. But if Georgia happened to win and I
- 2:25Speaker 3: cashed out, I'd be like, oh fuck, this is all bad.
- 2:27Speaker 1: See for me. I was kind of I wanted you
- 2:29Speaker 1: to have his time. He had his headphones and he
- 2:31Speaker 1: was there, but he really wasn't there. He was so
- 2:33Speaker 1: focused on the game. Well while watching Oregon and pet State,
- 2:35Speaker 1: But I'm sitting next to JP and like, towards the
- 2:38Speaker 1: end of that game, I keep showing flashing them over
- 2:40Speaker 1: the fandle like, hey, the Sultan Laker. I kind of
- 2:43Speaker 1: need Georgia. I need Georgia to come back in a big.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Way and say it a little loud on it hey,
- 2:47Speaker 3: like look over it. Get because Garrett's like verbally assaulting people.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And the yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Absolutely murdering Lucky.
- 2:54Speaker 4: They were on the other side of the TV.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt a little bit differently, but yeah, Will
- 3:00Speaker 1: had himself an L five S one's uh seas up
- 3:02Speaker 1: during the game, So he went from the front row
- 3:04Speaker 1: to the back round and I keep like getting a
- 3:06Speaker 1: little kink in my neck looking back at him, being like, hey,
- 3:08Speaker 1: do we catch out this thing? Because it is his parlay.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So when I get there's nine out of ten legs,
- 3:13Speaker 1: like I'm kind of letting somebody else drive here, and
- 3:15Speaker 1: he goes I'm staying. I thought, damn, we're staying in
- 3:18Speaker 1: the back.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Last words, get nervous.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Will move to the back because you were next to
- 3:23Speaker 5: me all game, and was like you might have.
- 3:26Speaker 3: This because I had to like stand like my bag
- 3:29Speaker 3: spasm again. Yeah you know I sit on soft Yeah
- 3:36Speaker 3: you what? I know? You heard that fart though?
- 3:38Speaker 6: Which one?
- 3:40Speaker 1: But he's smoking out the whole point apparently me bro
- 3:45Speaker 1: fard Gate fark gate was happening. Can we get a
- 3:49Speaker 1: big round up aplause for everybody on the bus being
- 3:51Speaker 1: victorious in college football this week? Their teams going victorious.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Ge we just talked about Alabama, Mitch Ohio State one,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and you're I guess, Steve fan Baylor big win Tennessee
- 4:02Speaker 1: with an overtime win. Gang Cox, just beamer ball? Was
- 4:06Speaker 1: that two defensive touchdowns back to back, back to back.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Just the offense sitting on the island be like, yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I guess we was just gonna win this game no
- 4:13Speaker 1: matter what. And then clump, he is a he's a
- 4:15Speaker 1: Tennessee fan. He's a he's a State of Tennessee fan.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Tennessee volunteers win. Vanderbilt blows out Utah State got a
- 4:22Speaker 1: little harry in the first half. Second half they blew
- 4:23Speaker 1: it off.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I think too. A big takeaway from the weekend is
- 4:26Speaker 3: like you watch both the Big Ten and that the
- 4:29Speaker 3: heavyweight fights between the Big Ten the SEC. It's like
- 4:33Speaker 3: the conference plays wide open. Yeah you said to watching
- 4:36Speaker 3: Oregon Penn State both good football teams, but still it's
- 4:39Speaker 3: like nobody wasn't lopsided. You look at Illinois take care
- 4:43Speaker 3: of USC and by the way, Illinois should that game
- 4:45Speaker 3: shouldn't have That game was closer than what it should
- 4:47Speaker 3: have been. Illinois should have won, maybe by a couple
- 4:50Speaker 3: of scores. Yea, that they were taking care of the football,
- 4:52Speaker 3: but you look at, you look at however, everything's went down.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Alabama is now just they're fully back into the fold,
- 4:58Speaker 3: taking down Georgia, miss be State given Tennessee a run
- 5:01Speaker 3: for their money. Like everything is wide open.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Everything's wide open. I agree with almost everything you said,
- 5:06Speaker 1: except for the Oregon Penn State game that I know
- 5:08Speaker 1: it went to double overtime, but I felt like that
- 5:12Speaker 1: game was controlled. Ninety nine point nine percent of the
- 5:16Speaker 1: game was controlled by the Ducks, like they just felt
- 5:18Speaker 1: like they were They were moving the ball much better,
- 5:22Speaker 1: They're converting more often. They seem very poised at Penn State,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and the skycam you every time time it came out
- 5:29Speaker 1: of commercial and you just see that sea of white
- 5:31Speaker 1: and that white out going on at night time. It
- 5:34Speaker 1: is got to be the most intense environment and probably
- 5:36Speaker 1: all of college football. Yeah, gotta be, if not one,
- 5:40Speaker 1: what two to Tennessee, maybe because Tennessee gets allowed to
- 5:43Speaker 1: But I've only been there for like a noon three
- 5:45Speaker 1: o'clock game, and so yeah, I.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Guess I love view it more from the lens of
- 5:49Speaker 3: when I look at the Husker schedule in Penn State
- 5:52Speaker 3: and USC on there, both those are both beatable games
- 5:55Speaker 3: because if there are like two big dog players. Oregon
- 5:58Speaker 3: going into Penn State on a night game wide out
- 6:01Speaker 3: and getting that w with a young football team like
- 6:03Speaker 3: that speaks volumes. And then also Oha State going out
- 6:06Speaker 3: to Washington and take care of business against them because
- 6:09Speaker 3: that quarterback was like the Washington's quarterback has been like
- 6:12Speaker 3: number one on like all of the charts that come
- 6:14Speaker 3: out big ten play quarterback running stud Ohio States defenses
- 6:18Speaker 3: for real.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And the first half it might have been the first half.
- 6:21Speaker 1: In the first drive of the second half for Washington,
- 6:23Speaker 1: they were in the red zone three times. It only
- 6:25Speaker 1: came away with six points. They had two field goals, yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and then one was either blocked or miss or something
- 6:30Speaker 1: like that, so it was a lot closer. They end
- 6:32Speaker 1: up pulling away in the end with Jeremiah Smith, dude
- 6:34Speaker 1: running averts on everybody him having a little over give
- 6:37Speaker 1: him the ball. It literally got the ball at the
- 6:39Speaker 1: line of scrimmage and just ran it for twenty five
- 6:40Speaker 1: yards no problem. Like that did is extremely special. Ohio
- 6:44Speaker 1: State's legit dude. That's a legit ball club. Patricia's doing
- 6:47Speaker 1: a great job. Ryan Day's doing a good job keeping
- 6:49Speaker 1: his boys all dialed in. So it's gonna be a
- 6:51Speaker 1: fun one that third week in November. Man, that'll be
- 6:53Speaker 1: a fun game for sure. Let's talk about was it
- 6:56Speaker 1: Friday night Virginia FSU double over, double overtime, the fastest
- 7:03Speaker 1: rush the field of all time? Like I have we
- 7:06Speaker 1: seen the injury report on that wide receiver yet?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like he's clear to play good because
- 7:15Speaker 3: when that happened, I was legitimately worried because again you'll
- 7:18Speaker 3: see like these mosh pits and everything that happened to
- 7:20Speaker 3: these concerts where people die and when they storm the field. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 3: astra world. I saw those videos. And when I see
- 7:27Speaker 3: that stormy happen, I'm like, they're not even on their feet.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And you know, you know some of these like students
- 7:32Speaker 1: are getting a little rowdy and they there's nothing, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: throw a little boat. There's a lot of people. Maybe
- 7:37Speaker 1: no one's gonna see if I throw a little bow
- 7:39Speaker 1: in this kid's chin real quick, So you never know,
- 7:41Speaker 1: you never know what's gonna happen. Got the helmet on,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that chin's exposed. But he talked as a guy who's
- 7:45Speaker 1: been in a lot of football fights. I'm telling you
- 7:47Speaker 1: it's the crank the face mask and he got a
- 7:49Speaker 1: lot of exposure in that throat area, a lot of exposure.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Man, I tell you, I hate the fake tough guyness
- 7:55Speaker 3: when these fans are on the field. They got their
- 7:56Speaker 3: phone out and they're like flipping off the rights and
- 7:58Speaker 3: quarterback knowing like nothing's really gonna happen.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Lagarret blunts out there. You don't find out what happens.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Blunts back in the game.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Is what we need, dude. Good composure.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, mouf Fasa, Yeah it was Mufasa in the
- 8:13Speaker 1: water Buffalo.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Man.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I thought that kid was done for. I thought that
- 8:16Speaker 1: kid was done.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:18Speaker 1: There was an interesting situation that game, double overtime. Virginia
- 8:21Speaker 1: scores and the coach sends out the pat go out
- 8:25Speaker 1: there not knowing the second overtime you got to go
- 8:27Speaker 1: for two. The refs sit back and they go, hey,
- 8:30Speaker 1: it seems like just a little bit of mix up.
- 8:31Speaker 1: You guys, go ahead and come back out and they'll
- 8:33Speaker 1: put that. Obviously they have the field goal. But Norvella
- 8:36Speaker 1: is over on the other side freaking out because I mean,
- 8:40Speaker 1: if you don't know the rules you should use There
- 8:41Speaker 1: should be a penalty for not knowing the rules and
- 8:43Speaker 1: they just reset the game clock. The head of one
- 8:45Speaker 1: of those Hey, game clock put it back up, no problem.
- 8:48Speaker 1: So is there an issue with Virginia and their head
- 8:50Speaker 1: coach and understanding overtime rules?
- 8:53Speaker 3: Will Yeah, he should have been losing his mind. It
- 8:56Speaker 3: should have been a penalty. It should have been something
- 8:58Speaker 3: I don't know what, like the rule book says. But
- 8:59Speaker 3: also I do want to give a shout out and
- 9:01Speaker 3: hats off to the ACC Conference for allowing people to
- 9:04Speaker 3: listen into the reviews. That's one thing I got to
- 9:06Speaker 3: enjoy while I'm sitting there on Friday, where you're like
- 9:08Speaker 3: in the war room. You're in the headset with the
- 9:11Speaker 3: referees breaking down, like when they're reviewing calls and they're
- 9:14Speaker 3: all like making sure, all right, are we all aligned
- 9:16Speaker 3: that this is what we see everybody? Yep, yep, yep,
- 9:17Speaker 3: all right. Then they go out there and make the
- 9:19Speaker 3: call and everything else. That was cool. I would love
- 9:21Speaker 3: to see that with every conference.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Another shout out to the AEC. I don't know how
- 9:24Speaker 1: good the conference actually is compared to other conference play,
- 9:27Speaker 1: but it might be the most open conference in college
- 9:31Speaker 1: football right now.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Dude, I think they're all pretty open. Like Big Ten.
- 9:33Speaker 3: You got Ohio State and Oregon, like, you know, until
- 9:35Speaker 3: something happens there.
- 9:37Speaker 1: What I mean, Michigan beat Hot State four years in
- 9:42Speaker 1: a row, and we got a very favorable schedule up until.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Okay, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon at the top of
- 9:49Speaker 3: the Big Ten. But I feel like every conference is
- 9:52Speaker 3: pretty wide open, even the Big twelve. Dude, Big twelve
- 9:55Speaker 3: acc SEC like teams are beatable. Man. We got a
- 9:58Speaker 3: huge one coming up this weekend with Andy and Gay
- 10:01Speaker 3: and Alabama. Yeah. Man, like the way Bama and hats
- 10:05Speaker 3: off to this staff, Like we talked about the Bama
- 10:07Speaker 3: game for a second, Bama Georgia, but hats off to
- 10:10Speaker 3: that staff. It's like, you know, we're sitting there watching
- 10:12Speaker 3: the game. Number one, by the way, I know Hubbard
- 10:14Speaker 3: had the effort plays number eighteen. That backer for Bama.
- 10:17Speaker 3: That's a good ball player. That's a great ballplayer. But
- 10:20Speaker 3: what I loved about Bama is when something would happen,
- 10:24Speaker 3: the coaches like kind of like running onto the field
- 10:27Speaker 3: telling their guys, fuck that, forget about that play, Like
- 10:29Speaker 3: a double move that eight or number one for Georgia
- 10:32Speaker 3: hit and Georgia ends up scoring coaches immediately running on
- 10:35Speaker 3: the field come back here like and decordinator head coach
- 10:38Speaker 3: are saying, that's on us, that's on us, that's on me.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You love to see that rally and effort you could
- 10:43Speaker 3: tell as a full team effort coming into Georgia, like
- 10:45Speaker 3: we're gonna win this game. We're gonna get hitting them
- 10:47Speaker 3: out a couple times. There's gonna be a couple moments
- 10:48Speaker 3: of adversity. The coaching staff. The way that they've bounced
- 10:51Speaker 3: back since Week one, I think it speaks volumes for
- 10:54Speaker 3: that for that football team, because Bama's fucking tough. They're
- 10:57Speaker 3: back in the fold. Everybody thought they were dead, myself
- 10:59Speaker 3: included massive red flag. They're one and five in the
- 11:02Speaker 3: last their last six true road games. Can they actually
- 11:04Speaker 3: go in and beat the Georgia Bulldogs. They controlled the clock,
- 11:07Speaker 3: they kind of did what they needed to do to
- 11:09Speaker 3: win that game. And I just I feel like watching
- 11:11Speaker 3: the staff too, Like in any bad moment, the boar
- 11:14Speaker 3: and the whole staff is out there on the field,
- 11:15Speaker 3: come back to the sideline just minimizing any damage possible,
- 11:19Speaker 3: not standing in there and be like, fow it.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Truly was next play? Yeah, that one's done next play.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's really cool too that. I mean,
- 11:27Speaker 1: it just shows how much of Joe's we all are
- 11:29Speaker 1: at this point because we get after week one, after
- 11:31Speaker 1: Florida State, and we sit there and we're like, you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: we talked. There's boosters talking about kids are out till
- 11:35Speaker 1: two am getting uber eats, maybe girls are ripping around
- 11:38Speaker 1: those types of things. It seems like they gave them
- 11:40Speaker 1: a little bit of a leash and they've taken a
- 11:41Speaker 1: mile as opposed to the Nick saban era, where like
- 11:44Speaker 1: anything you messed up on you were croptique for endlessly.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And so we sat there after week one, you're in
- 11:49Speaker 1: the shitter. We're thinking to ourselves, the Crimson Tide has
- 11:51Speaker 1: probably are probably dead fast forward four weeks essentially a
- 11:54Speaker 1: month later, we're like, my god, they they are, they
- 11:57Speaker 1: could probably they're probably the front round of the SEC
- 12:00Speaker 1: besides Vanderbilt.
- 12:02Speaker 3: It was just crazy because which is crazy, but.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, Commissioner said it on locker room this Wednesday.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Maybe that loss early helps you figure out your weak points.
- 12:15Speaker 5: The course correct course correction. You know, we locked in,
- 12:20Speaker 5: we had to give Tie his time to throw. We did,
- 12:23Speaker 5: and penalties were a minimum.
- 12:25Speaker 3: So Bama's dead. They're probably the front run of the
- 12:29Speaker 3: SEC right now.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It's like loved over at But also, I mean you said,
- 12:34Speaker 1: can happen for four weeks? Yeah, but like Clump just said, Oklahoma,
- 12:37Speaker 1: like Matier, he's got handsurgeror he's out three to four
- 12:40Speaker 1: to six weeks, l s U.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Let's see the team rally, like Oklahoma still undefeated, Missouri Missouri.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Alabama just went in to Georgia, who had the longest
- 12:52Speaker 1: home win streak in college football, and put on and
- 12:55Speaker 1: we're never down in the entire game. That's that's impressed.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Where you go, Yeah, I mean that seems like the
- 12:59Speaker 1: team to beat now in the SEC. Obviously, Well we
- 13:02Speaker 1: can get another month, right, another month goes by, another
- 13:04Speaker 1: overreaction happens. If I'm gonna overreact on today, after I
- 13:07Speaker 1: overreacted on Alabama a month ago, I'm sitting there going, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 1: that's that's the top team in the SEC right now,
- 13:15Speaker 1: fair point, fair point.
- 13:17Speaker 4: The best team in the country.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But yeah, over if we're gonna react, Virginia might be
- 13:21Speaker 1: the greatest team in the country.
- 13:22Speaker 4: That might be the hardest stadium to play in.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah maybe maybe, uh gee, while we still have you
- 13:29Speaker 1: on the mic? You do have a big game come
- 13:31Speaker 1: up this week? Vanderbilt.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Kate McConnell hate week number two.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Cay McConnell hate week. He's he's one tozer and
- 13:36Speaker 1: hate weeks. The bustle with the boys. He is, uh,
- 13:38Speaker 1: diego Pavia four hundred yards kind of for six touchdowns?
- 13:42Speaker 1: How are we feeling?
- 13:44Speaker 5: Obviously, this one's gonna be personal. I I feel like
- 13:48Speaker 5: it's gonna be one of those You let them do
- 13:50Speaker 5: what they're gonna do on the offensive side, and we
- 13:53Speaker 5: do what we did against Georgia. As long as we
- 13:55Speaker 5: take care of business when we have the ball, it
- 13:58Speaker 5: should be it should be business as usually.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Bro, you guys, Bama two. Just third down you guys, yeah, yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 3: weeks past.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and so that's gonna be.
- 14:09Speaker 5: That was the tell last year against Vandy, is they
- 14:12Speaker 5: converted on third down, kept us on the field.
- 14:15Speaker 4: We gotta flip the script.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Ty Simpson, I mean you have to give him
- 14:19Speaker 1: a lot of credit. Will brought this up quite a bit.
- 14:21Speaker 1: The fundamentals, keeps.
- 14:22Speaker 3: The ball, give.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That's where you want it.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's his feet well, poise in the pocket, keeps
- 14:30Speaker 3: the ball up here. Yeah, and delivers a strike.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Hey he has will get pulled, but he doesn't have
- 14:37Speaker 5: that lapse of like that long release.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Great fund keeps it forward, great moving forward. Gotta love
- 14:44Speaker 1: that good ballplayer.
- 14:47Speaker 5: I text kid when the game day thing got announced.
- 14:50Speaker 5: I was like, bro, game day, that's so sick. He
- 14:52Speaker 5: was like, yeah, if you make it down there and
- 14:54Speaker 5: make sure you stay the whole time. We tend to
- 14:56Speaker 5: clear him out these days, you know, you.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Know, animal confident man, and as they should be. They
- 15:02Speaker 3: are undefeated. They've been putting up a shipload of points.
- 15:05Speaker 3: The team to beat the Yeah, where is Pavia? Where's
- 15:08Speaker 3: Pavi in the heisman on a fandel right now? Do
- 15:11Speaker 3: we know? Because again four hundred yards, six touchdowns? I
- 15:16Speaker 3: mean some I got the next. Uh.
- 15:18Speaker 5: They got a good stretch of games coming up though. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 5: good thing they host eight.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Right now. Not just zoom in on it, scroll scroll up.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Who's at the top.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It's amazing, what a bible we will do?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Dante More Oregon have to hit a good game out
- 15:41Speaker 3: there in a happy valley, Die Simpson.
- 15:45Speaker 7: I a crazy, crazy Bama staff that I think Josh
- 15:50Speaker 7: Pate shared. That was the first game of the klend
- 15:52Speaker 7: bor era. Where they had less penalties than the other team.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Which is good for them really turning it around. Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: need it this week because the crimas time, they are
- 16:02Speaker 1: gonna be fired up. They're don't want that revenge. Sometimes
- 16:05Speaker 1: it doesn't go your way a little, but you start
- 16:06Speaker 1: get a little pushy, little schovy.
- 16:07Speaker 4: So I'm glad it's at home. I'll say that.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah, would you be more you'd be more nervous Vanderbilt
- 16:12Speaker 1: selling them out? Now they're selling out that stadium now
- 16:15Speaker 1: might be under construction.
- 16:17Speaker 3: You walk around Saturday mornings, bro, people repping the Vandy gear.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is true.
- 16:27Speaker 3: You know, the one day of the week that there'd
- 16:29Speaker 3: be no traffic in Nashville's all like on the weekends
- 16:31Speaker 3: on Saturday, maybe at the first part of Sunday. Yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 3: and now it's it's busy the bandy football around here. Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 6: The last time Vandy was five and oh was I
- 16:42Speaker 6: think two thousand and eight and they finished the year
- 16:44Speaker 6: seven and five. So that's what they're that's the history
- 16:48Speaker 6: they're trying to correct right now.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yeah. God what coach Lee Man, he's good. He's a
- 16:54Speaker 3: great coach.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin got got it done. He beat a shoe,
- 17:00Speaker 1: but he did not cover. If you're all missed, you
- 17:03Speaker 1: take that as a loss, will Yeah, I.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Think if you're all miss He kind of has to
- 17:07Speaker 3: take the accountability at some point. He told the world
- 17:09Speaker 3: take the over, right, so he has to take some accountability.
- 17:12Speaker 1: He was on the show Lot's me in the face
- 17:14Speaker 1: instead of LSU's offensive frauds. You were right about that.
- 17:16Speaker 1: He said, I'm taking the over because Lane kip and
- 17:17Speaker 1: took it. So I took it.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and here we go. Once he tweeted the reply
- 17:21Speaker 3: take the over, it's like, okay, like, don't even think it,
- 17:23Speaker 3: don't overthink this game. I don't even think about it.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Just take the over. Yeah. So he let a lot
- 17:27Speaker 3: of people down. He did, and his word supposed to
- 17:32Speaker 3: be And again LSU's been on the on the fraud
- 17:35Speaker 3: list for your boy.
- 17:37Speaker 1: It seems like it started to finally come together. Wait,
- 17:40Speaker 1: Weeks got a little nervous, started throwing up right in
- 17:42Speaker 1: front of his future father in law.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that. He just started puking started.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It looks like he tried to catch a mouthpiece of
- 17:48Speaker 1: something that got a handful of his own vomit.
- 17:49Speaker 3: It's like, Buddy, let that hit the ground.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You're gonna put that mouthpiece back in your mouth.
- 17:53Speaker 2: When you know, you know that his hand just smells
- 17:55Speaker 2: like shit now because of all the throw up that
- 17:58Speaker 2: he just got all over.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean pre game meal, pregame meal is tough
- 18:02Speaker 1: to settle on game day.
- 18:04Speaker 8: Yeah, Lane probably had him over not before.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, classic wedding crashers, move ey droppers in the glass.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Everyone sat down for prayer. Lane looked over. You should
- 18:19Speaker 1: we bower a head in prayer? Got his ass.
- 18:22Speaker 3: That was big.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Have you all seen or like been watching their quarterback?
- 18:27Speaker 2: Ole Miss Trinidad Chambliss stut D two national. He was
- 18:31Speaker 2: a D two player, had no offers, went to Fair
- 18:33Speaker 2: State D two national champion, transferred to an SEC school
- 18:36Speaker 2: and is now like top three in the heightsman voting,
- 18:39Speaker 2: like rush for three hundred or three for three hundred
- 18:42Speaker 2: yards and rush for one hundred. I think damn in
- 18:44Speaker 2: like back to back games, like he's a stud.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And he was a backup at the start of the season. Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: starter gets hurt. He's been in there. I don't know
- 18:51Speaker 1: if this is true up as a starter like healthy.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Now they're just like, hey, this is our guy.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Josh was saying on the locker room
- 18:57Speaker 2: that like you have if you have two quarterbacks, you
- 19:00Speaker 2: have none, but like for old miss, like, no, you
- 19:01Speaker 2: have two quarterbackskets. Both guys are studs.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Studs.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I think the other guys like Austin Simmons, he's a
- 19:06Speaker 2: lefty and like can yeah he can run and can
- 19:10Speaker 2: he can fucking zip it? Lefty man?
- 19:14Speaker 6: Sure him had a great stat earlier about how college
- 19:18Speaker 6: football is pretty much won in the portal now and
- 19:20Speaker 6: then them saying that about what was the stat.
- 19:23Speaker 9: Prior to this week the top seven ranked portals leading
- 19:28Speaker 9: into the season where it combined twenty seven and oh
- 19:30Speaker 9: going into this week, no way twenty.
- 19:33Speaker 6: Seven portal classes or twenty seven and no one in
- 19:38Speaker 6: the portal chick it out?
- 19:44Speaker 3: God?
- 19:46Speaker 1: Do we want to talk about A and M Auburn?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, A and M's undefeated since what twenty sixteen?
- 19:52Speaker 3: First time I started fours? A four five? And what
- 19:55Speaker 3: week are we on?
- 19:56Speaker 1: This is going to be the fifth week of the season? Correct?
- 19:59Speaker 1: We five? Week five of college football? Week five? Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: it's it's impressive.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Yeah, the A and M in the SEC, right.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yeah, possibly possibly the team to beat?
- 20:12Speaker 3: Well said, yeah, is Hugh Freeze.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Is he on hot hot se alert, Hugh Freeze.
- 20:18Speaker 9: They've looked good against these good opponents. It's the only
- 20:21Speaker 9: crazy thing. I mean, they damn near beat Oklahoma. If
- 20:24Speaker 9: it was losses or to top five teams.
- 20:28Speaker 6: They got to keep their receiver. They have arguably like
- 20:31Speaker 6: the best receiver in the SEC.
- 20:33Speaker 1: There's rumors about him going to Michigan. Yeah, I've heard that.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You have you heard that shirt. There's a lot of
- 20:39Speaker 1: chatter around. There's a lot of Alabama guys as well.
- 20:42Speaker 1: They see Justice has up. They're like, maybe I should
- 20:44Speaker 1: get the fuck out of here. I'm just reporting the news.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I'm just reporting the news. Don't give me that look.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Gi A and m does look good though.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I was doing that stream bro, I was just in
- 20:55Speaker 1: there like I'll take that guy.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Can you break that guy? Sure? Can you bring up
- 20:58Speaker 3: the conferences right now? SEC? Because again, another sneaky game
- 21:05Speaker 3: was Tennessee going into ot against Mississippi State. We get
- 21:09Speaker 3: to watch the end of that game with Old Jack
- 21:11Speaker 3: and chits cooking.
- 21:12Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, scary game and the Tennessee just came
- 21:16Speaker 10: out flat, had the muffed fumble off the punt, but
- 21:22Speaker 10: they stayed in it defense played really strong. Chris brazsl
- 21:27Speaker 10: and Joey Football are some of the best duo quarterback
- 21:30Speaker 10: receiver in the country. Joey Aguyar is currently leading the
- 21:33Speaker 10: SEC in total yards and passing yards and touchdowns. Chris
- 21:38Speaker 10: Brasl is leading the country and receiving touchdowns and second
- 21:41Speaker 10: receiving yards. He's very much in the running for the
- 21:44Speaker 10: Belinda coff which is promising. But yeah, when you go
- 21:47Speaker 10: down to Starkville on rank Misissippi State their best win
- 21:50Speaker 10: of the season's ASU, which they were what like twenty
- 21:53Speaker 10: four or something when they beat him twenty if you
- 21:57Speaker 10: don't feel pop positive, you don't feel as good as
- 22:02Speaker 10: you want to coming on an SEC road game. But
- 22:04Speaker 10: still like the SEC is the SEC, just like the
- 22:07Speaker 10: Big Big ten's the Big ten, and like a road
- 22:09Speaker 10: win is big, especially in a loud environment like Starkville.
- 22:12Speaker 10: So yeah, I think I think they are good. I
- 22:15Speaker 10: think they don't get enough credit and the A P
- 22:19Speaker 10: Pole definitely won't give Tennessee enough credit for that. We
- 22:21Speaker 10: have not moved in the rankings in three straight weeks.
- 22:24Speaker 3: The people is it's just I feel like it's louder
- 22:27Speaker 3: and louder than it's just a front.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's been more. It's been more vocal than
- 22:31Speaker 1: ever on how shitty it is.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah, two more weeks from now.
- 22:35Speaker 4: To start doing that.
- 22:36Speaker 3: You need to adopt the Commissioner's poll Josh Pate Commissioner's poll.
- 22:41Speaker 10: But yeah, scary game, fun game if you're not, you know,
- 22:45Speaker 10: sweating it out. But uh yeah, the win, gotta win.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta win and you have a lot of
- 22:53Speaker 1: correct which is awesome.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Yeah, the people feel.
- 22:56Speaker 10: Like by the like Arkansas, which is revenge game and
- 22:59Speaker 10: then Bama.
- 22:59Speaker 1: So, uh is Arkansas to buy as well?
- 23:02Speaker 10: I'm not sure if they're gonna buy this week.
- 23:03Speaker 1: We gotta find out about that because Sam Pittman, he
- 23:05Speaker 1: just got fired. Arkansas needs to Arkansas needs something.
- 23:10Speaker 6: And get rid of him.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Uh no, Patrina Patrino before Sam pitt they're about to.
- 23:23Speaker 9: I'm already done, so uh fun fact went to high
- 23:26Speaker 9: school with the girl that was on the back of
- 23:28Speaker 9: Petrino's motorcycle.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Did a little fun fact fun fact.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Wow, shout out Aledo, Texas.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I I did staying on the eight people. I do
- 23:37Speaker 3: feel like in my heart of hearts, I feel like
- 23:39Speaker 3: people are trolling as these voters. I feel like they're
- 23:43Speaker 3: not being serious, Like it almost reminds me of the
- 23:46Speaker 3: Madden ratings and how they kind of they kind of
- 23:48Speaker 3: jip you on some mad ratings just to get everybody talking.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I feel like that's what the app pole is becoming.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Yeah, or these these voters to start watching all the games.
- 23:58Speaker 5: The bias extreme, like Joe very vocal about some things.
- 24:06Speaker 10: And he hates Tennessee.
- 24:08Speaker 2: With all this art, I feel like the A people
- 24:10Speaker 2: like it's people who, for lack of a better term,
- 24:13Speaker 2: don't know ball. I feel like it's the personalities that
- 24:16Speaker 2: are like talking about the game and like are announcing
- 24:19Speaker 2: the games and who are actually physically watching the games
- 24:22Speaker 2: should be the should be like the A people. It
- 24:24Speaker 2: shouldn't be these like news writers that are.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Plus what the boys should definitely get a couple of votes.
- 24:30Speaker 11: They're basically admitting that they're not watching these games because
- 24:32Speaker 11: I'm I'm like, obviously, Josh Bate should be the commissioner,
- 24:35Speaker 11: should be like he should vote for the eight. People
- 24:37Speaker 11: like Joel Klad, like those guys who are watching the
- 24:40Speaker 11: games and announcing like Kirk Kurvestreet, like they should be
- 24:45Speaker 11: they should be giving the rankings and stuff because like
- 24:48Speaker 11: they're physically they're doing film study, watching the games, announcing
- 24:51Speaker 11: the games like they know it better than these in.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Love the sport, yes, yeah, love the league.
- 24:59Speaker 9: This guy has in State at number three after losing
- 25:02Speaker 9: the words.
- 25:04Speaker 6: It's just a useless pole because it doesn't do anything
- 25:08Speaker 6: for anybody at any point because when the playoffs come around,
- 25:12Speaker 6: like they don't go off the a P pole. It's
- 25:15Speaker 6: really just like a seven week playground pole. Then nobody
- 25:19Speaker 6: takes serious and every single one of them should lose
- 25:22Speaker 6: their jobs.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it is, Uh, it is very interesting the ape pole.
- 25:31Speaker 9: You have three AP voters that all had Penn State
- 25:34Speaker 9: at number three after their game against Oregon. None of
- 25:39Speaker 9: them are alumed.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I can't wait till the CFP stuff starts coming up, bro,
- 25:43Speaker 3: like the.
- 25:43Speaker 8: Playoff stuff, bracketology about to be crazy.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we're in a great year a college.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Football, Yes, there's no doubt about it. Also, let's give
- 25:54Speaker 1: a run of aplause to Illinois got absolutely smacked versus
- 25:57Speaker 1: Indiana comes in. Everyone was talking about USC. They got
- 26:01Speaker 1: an amazing the quarterbacks, incredible, the running backs. Also, they
- 26:04Speaker 1: had this Lemon kid out here who's like probably a
- 26:06Speaker 1: top ten pick and like, oh, they're going to roll
- 26:08Speaker 1: all over them. And Illinois was able to do anything
- 26:11Speaker 1: they wanted the entire game. They owned the line of scrimmage.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Luke Altmeyer, he was throwing forward, he was running for it,
- 26:16Speaker 1: he was doing everything he possibly needed. The score, I mean,
- 26:18Speaker 1: obviously came down to a last second field goal, but
- 26:21Speaker 1: Brett be Bilima and that and that team looked like
- 26:24Speaker 1: that like Wisconsin and old Brett be Blama Wisconsin team.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So shout out to them. Man, seems like usc might
- 26:31Speaker 1: also be on a fraud alert right now.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Could be, or they could have just traveled to the
- 26:34Speaker 3: Midwest and just got punched in the mouth.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Maybe hopefully they're playing a pissed off team too.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no doubt. You think after a score like
- 26:42Speaker 1: that and watching I went back and watched Illinois Indiana,
- 26:46Speaker 1: and it wasn't like a lot of ball, like a
- 26:47Speaker 1: lot of bounces didn't go their way, Like they just
- 26:49Speaker 1: got the shit kicked out of them for like sixty
- 26:51Speaker 1: whole minutes. So you walk it there and you think
- 26:54Speaker 1: it's over.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah, because there was one at the toward the end
- 26:56Speaker 3: of the game where Illinois's going in a score they
- 26:58Speaker 3: fumbled the ball in the end zone. USC gets in
- 27:01Speaker 3: that kind of you know, it's USC's alive. They could
- 27:03Speaker 3: still win this football game. And then even uh, you know,
- 27:06Speaker 3: in the middle eight the last four of the first half,
- 27:08Speaker 3: first four to the second half, like, uh, Illinois I
- 27:11Speaker 3: think was in position to go uh twenty one ten
- 27:14Speaker 3: going in a half time in getting the ball, but
- 27:15Speaker 3: a turnover happened or I forget exactly what happened to
- 27:18Speaker 3: our USC then goes down gets in the end zone
- 27:21Speaker 3: to make it closer than it was. Like again, Illinois
- 27:23Speaker 3: was if you're if you're watching that game from start
- 27:25Speaker 3: to finish, like Illinois was clearly the better football team
- 27:28Speaker 3: on that day. On that day, the ALLIONI came out swinging.
- 27:32Speaker 5: Do we uh before we go to NFL, do we
- 27:35Speaker 5: feel like the Notre Dame fighting Irish might be back
- 27:38Speaker 5: on track?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, And they had to win out and they
- 27:43Speaker 1: also have to have the rest of like the other
- 27:45Speaker 1: teams they play work for them a little bit, right
- 27:47Speaker 1: because you lose those two games to Miami and Texas
- 27:50Speaker 1: A and M The text A and m game is
- 27:51Speaker 1: so tough because they probably should have won that game.
- 27:53Speaker 1: That last second play there was a holding that didn't
- 27:56Speaker 1: get called. Yeah, but maj Carr, Yeah, it seems like
- 28:00Speaker 1: he's doing it, Jeremiah, Jeremiah Love, like he's like, what
- 28:03Speaker 1: four touchdowns, one hundred fifty eight yards rushing. That was
- 28:06Speaker 1: my heisman, pick. I thought it was dead last week.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Here we are this week. I feel like I'm in
- 28:10Speaker 1: a good spot every week, every Yeah, Jeremiah Love. Heisman
- 28:14Speaker 1: got to beat spook when football starts and we are
- 28:18Speaker 1: here boys, God for fucking here. Which, by the way,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm wearing the merch right now. Gee once again crushed
- 28:23Speaker 1: at bwutv dot com. Got this hat, got this show.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Do you want to show some of the stuff, sure
- 28:27Speaker 1: before we get to NFL. Yeah, just give me a minute.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Oh you know, hey, Will's got a back ahead.
- 28:32Speaker 3: The spasms could come at any moment. I got you, buddy,
- 28:36Speaker 3: I got you.
- 28:36Speaker 1: All right, let's take a peak ski at some of
- 28:39Speaker 1: these things we got here for. Uh, this is this
- 28:43Speaker 1: is a nice one right here, go and read that
- 28:45Speaker 1: one out, Willie grid Iron Graveyard.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Got a little skeleton holding the football, the final down,
- 28:51Speaker 3: bust with the boys, got the little bust in the bag,
- 28:52Speaker 3: got some electricity going around. I like this shirt. Very great.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Look at sure if you're a watch, if you're listening
- 28:58Speaker 1: on audio, don't even just go to bwut be you'll
- 29:00Speaker 1: be able.
- 29:00Speaker 3: To see it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Incredible stuff. Next one on the list a fun one
- 29:04Speaker 1: for everybody, a little fallback.
- 29:08Speaker 3: This one says nothing just chilling killing and white got
- 29:13Speaker 3: the orange font on it for those who are just
- 29:14Speaker 3: listening to this podcast.
- 29:17Speaker 1: This another one if you don't like it, and white
- 29:19Speaker 1: we got it in black, black and orange the colors.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Yes, that one says nothing just chilling killing, an orange
- 29:26Speaker 3: font on a black te.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And this is if you're if you're looking for a
- 29:29Speaker 1: cute as.
- 29:31Speaker 3: October, Yeah, you gotta, you gotta father pup with a
- 29:35Speaker 3: little with his little baby pup and the little baby
- 29:37Speaker 3: pupp he's wearing a little ghost costume and he's holding
- 29:39Speaker 3: a little he's on a little pumpkin what are those called,
- 29:42Speaker 3: little pumpkin bone for the candy. Yeah, he's holding a
- 29:48Speaker 3: little pumpkin candy carrier for the dad's underneath. They're out
- 29:52Speaker 3: with the moonshining little half moon, very.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Nice, very moon, crescent moon, crescent moon, Yes, very nice.
- 29:59Speaker 1: So newspook over That stuff is coming out Wednesday. If
- 30:02Speaker 1: you're wondering Wednesday, I'm assuming ten am. That's always ten
- 30:05Speaker 1: am Central Time, always. I had a coff hold on.
- 30:10Speaker 1: All right, we feel good, boys.
- 30:12Speaker 3: You want to read some ads before we go to NFL.
- 30:15Speaker 3: We just got a shout out a little bit of
- 30:16Speaker 3: Big twelve talk. Rocco backed, I would stayed beating the
- 30:19Speaker 3: brakes off at Arizona them coming up to visit. Yeah, Cincinnati.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Twelve.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I don't know who called that, but he's sitting on
- 30:26Speaker 3: this bus. Cincinnati looking tough, looked tough, big win over Kansas.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Who else in the old Big twelve? Right now? Arizona State?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Look good?

- 31:03Speaker 3: Houston sneaky.

- 34:19Speaker 1: You, Simply Safe.
- 34:21Speaker 2: All right?
- 34:22Speaker 1: You read all the ads really onward onward.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Yes, thank you Steelers for showing up over in what
- 34:28Speaker 3: was it on Ireland.
- 34:30Speaker 1: On the other side, on the non America side. On
- 34:33Speaker 1: the non America side, y'all showed up for the first
- 34:36Speaker 1: time all year. Ran the ball for more than seventy
- 34:38Speaker 1: five yards. Interesting. How a run game can get it done?
- 34:42Speaker 1: Huh interesting?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say shout out Kenneth gamebo man.
- 34:46Speaker 3: He had ninety nine yards two touchdowns on the ground.
- 34:48Speaker 3: They had a run game. DK Metcalf came alive. You
- 34:51Speaker 3: saw some Victit's Aaron Rodgers ripping a slant over in
- 34:53Speaker 3: the middle of the DK Metcalf as he runs away
- 34:55Speaker 3: from the entire defense. Defense showed up a little bit,
- 34:58Speaker 3: causing a couple picks up pick balls.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of conversation around DK Metcalf. Somebody on
- 35:04Speaker 1: this bus said that DKA wasn't getting a lot of separation.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yes, myself.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Wow, And they run the ball and look what happens
- 35:12Speaker 1: ends up being separation because the run made with the
- 35:14Speaker 1: pass helps a lot of ways. That's what Arthur Smith
- 35:16Speaker 1: wants to do. By the way, let's give a quick
- 35:18Speaker 1: shout to Arthur Smith. The man looks incredible with that
- 35:21Speaker 1: mustache running the all black. Did you guys see him?
- 35:23Speaker 1: He's looking like a seasoned vet right now. He is
- 35:25Speaker 1: definitely in his Russ Grim era right now. Just pull
- 35:28Speaker 1: for poys Aaron Rodgers. A lot of question marks around
- 35:32Speaker 1: him as he too old? Is he looking at the rush?
- 35:34Speaker 1: The guy crushed it all day long.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You see that block he had no yes, bro.
- 35:38Speaker 4: No, I didn't let that boy up.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Let that boy up.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Huh put his body in there.
- 35:43Speaker 4: It was nice.
- 35:43Speaker 2: What was he?
- 35:44Speaker 3: Forty two?
- 35:45Speaker 1: Is two years old?
- 35:47Speaker 10: Outside of the game, you'll see the story about Skylar
- 35:49Speaker 10: Thompson the Steelers back up on Friday night and jumped. Yeah,
- 35:54Speaker 10: so what are you doing one?
- 35:56Speaker 3: Going out?
- 35:57Speaker 10: I guess by yourself.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And in Dublin, Ireland, Yeah, secure bunch of miny McGregor's
- 36:01Speaker 1: walking around there. Ever since Connor got the double Bell,
- 36:04Speaker 1: Island's got a little cocky with their fighting skills. Tough
- 36:08Speaker 1: look Toughlok got the dub Yeah, tough look uh thing.
- 36:13Speaker 1: You gotta love the Caucasians. Let's give the.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Hard launch of the Creed team Caucasians out in New York.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Nobody thought they could do it. Nobody, no one, not
- 36:25Speaker 3: even us thought it was It's like Jackson Dart, he
- 36:29Speaker 3: could he could bring some juice, but the dude is
- 36:32Speaker 3: an absolute maniac. Did you see him that third down
- 36:35Speaker 3: running ahead? Beautiful running through a motherfucker and then not
- 36:38Speaker 3: only that, think he just throwing basically a fist at
- 36:42Speaker 3: the dB. I loved every second of it.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I love it to me. That play style of four
- 36:47Speaker 1: quarterback not very sustainable in the NFL. Throw your body
- 36:51Speaker 1: around like.
- 36:51Speaker 10: That, but it started off.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Yes, look, going into this game, it was, hey, what
- 36:58Speaker 1: do the Giants need from Jackson Dart? In the whole
- 37:00Speaker 1: thing was show life, show a spark. You take Jackson Dart,
- 37:04Speaker 1: mix them up with camp scataboo, and boys, you've got juice,
- 37:07Speaker 1: you've got creatine, you got Caucasians, you got energy in
- 37:10Speaker 1: that build up.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I saw a comment to people. I was
- 37:14Speaker 3: having a nice little giggle at where it's like a
- 37:16Speaker 3: camp scatabo sounds like he didn't know how to tie
- 37:18Speaker 3: his shoes until he's in seventh grade. That's how he
- 37:20Speaker 3: loves his running back. I thought I got a nice
- 37:22Speaker 3: chuckle out of that.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Do the thing that and also like that defense went
- 37:26Speaker 1: off that defensive line. I mean Thibodeau, Brian Brian Burns,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Brian Burns, like Dexter, Lawrence had himself a pick like
- 37:34Speaker 1: Sexy Dexy kind of got after a little bit. It's
- 37:37Speaker 1: awesome for the Giants to see a little bit of life.
- 37:40Speaker 1: They get themselves another w and they have to go
- 37:42Speaker 1: to the Saints next week, which is you have to
- 37:44Speaker 1: assume the Giants are probably gonna win that game. The
- 37:45Speaker 1: only team that's probably worse than the Saints is are
- 37:48Speaker 1: beloved Titans right now. But if you're the Chargers, you
- 37:52Speaker 1: are you're in a really tough spot because you have
- 37:54Speaker 1: a good ball club. But you lose with Sean Slater
- 37:57Speaker 1: during camp to a broken leg. Joe all goes down
- 38:00Speaker 1: with them, assuming some sort of ankle. Hopefully it's not
- 38:03Speaker 1: a high ankle, but like you gotta assume he's gonna
- 38:05Speaker 1: miss a couple of weeks there. And then who is
- 38:07Speaker 1: Buddy who played for the Eagles last year won it
- 38:11Speaker 1: was drafted by the Jets, went to Louisville Makai Beckton.
- 38:15Speaker 1: He gets hurt as well, So now you have a
- 38:17Speaker 1: second and third string tackle playing as your bookends. I mean,
- 38:21Speaker 1: Herbert was running for his life. He got hit fourteen
- 38:23Speaker 1: times in this game. That is not a sustainable move
- 38:26Speaker 1: for even like a guy with Jim Harble, Like their
- 38:28Speaker 1: defense is gonna be really good, but you got your
- 38:30Speaker 1: tackles like that, some stud tackles and Chiefs look fantastic.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeah they're good again.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Man.
- 38:38Speaker 1: It's like as much as things change, they also stay
- 38:40Speaker 1: the same.
- 38:40Speaker 3: And the Chiefs they might be good again.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Buddy, they're good again.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Listen the Ravens there. You know, they got some shit
- 38:48Speaker 3: to figure out.
- 38:48Speaker 1: They got some shit to figure out. They do, they
- 38:50Speaker 1: really do. But I think the Chiefs are good again.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Might And if we can't protect Herbert top five quarterback, we're.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Broncos. They still got to play tonight. I love
- 39:03Speaker 3: the Broncos in this spot right here against the Bengals,
- 39:06Speaker 3: So we'll see, ye see.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Hit a weird week, though It's been a weird week.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Dude, any given Sunday. I mean, you look at the
- 39:11Speaker 3: Packers Cowboys last night overtime and then a tie.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Which everybody was saying that we were on ESPN and
- 39:18Speaker 1: everyone's like they're gonna get boat race. We're saying it's
- 39:20Speaker 1: gonna be a blood back.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Everybody in the world was saying that the Packers are
- 39:24Speaker 3: gonna boat race the Cowboys. Yeah, we might have overreacted,
- 39:26Speaker 3: not might have we overreacted on how good the Packers
- 39:29Speaker 3: can be, because they clearly got some holes right now.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I mean Dak Prescott, he is absolutely him. Yeah, you know,
- 39:35Speaker 3: them just operating that way offensively without ceedee Lamb Pickens
- 39:40Speaker 3: out there just being a dog. Yeah, but Dak looked amazing.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Turpin was out there going off like they Their run
- 39:46Speaker 1: game was incredible. The game plan they had for Micah Parsons,
- 39:50Speaker 1: you need to copy and paste that. Who if I
- 39:52Speaker 1: don't know who the Packer's playing next, but whoever's playing
- 39:54Speaker 1: the Packers next, you need to copy and paste that game.
- 39:56Speaker 1: But running away from Parsons hitting with the sift when
- 39:58Speaker 1: you had to throw the ball, you're going away a
- 40:00Speaker 1: little bit. You're chipping or sliding towards him. I mean,
- 40:02Speaker 1: the guy had very little success during the game. He
- 40:05Speaker 1: ends up getting a sack that would have been a
- 40:06Speaker 1: go ahead touchdown. And it's kind of like, yeah, I
- 40:10Speaker 1: think we overreacted on the Packers a little bit after
- 40:13Speaker 1: Week one and it's like you look at the NFC
- 40:15Speaker 1: North and it's like, oh, the Lions. I mean, they
- 40:18Speaker 1: they're just killing everybody right now, and it's.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Like they just need They showed you that week one
- 40:24Speaker 3: didn't matter.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yeah, they showed you. And it's like, give credit to
- 40:27Speaker 1: Ibra Flus a little bit. They still got a forty
- 40:29Speaker 1: burger put on them, but like, still sucks. However, you
- 40:34Speaker 1: see the effort and then disguising a couple of blitzes
- 40:36Speaker 1: here and there, they mixed in a little bit more
- 40:38Speaker 1: man like. They tried. They still suck. They're not very good,
- 40:42Speaker 1: but you got to give a little credit than just
- 40:44Speaker 1: doing the same thing over and over and over again.
- 40:46Speaker 3: They're not giving up.
- 40:47Speaker 1: They're still they're not giving up because they were they
- 40:51Speaker 1: were they were flying around and I mean Jordan Love
- 40:53Speaker 1: still diced him up a little bit, but it wasn't
- 40:55Speaker 1: as as easy as it had seen in the last
- 40:57Speaker 1: couple of weeks.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Jordan Love had one hundred and seventy five yards in
- 41:00Speaker 2: the first half.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Like I said, it wasn't as easy as we thought
- 41:05Speaker 1: it was going to be. And Dak Prescott like that
- 41:08Speaker 1: had to be one of Dak Prescott's best games of
- 41:10Speaker 1: his life. I don't know, I don't care about what
- 41:12Speaker 1: the stats are if the stats are just he's a
- 41:14Speaker 1: fucking baller. But you're down, Ceede Lamb, You're down Tyler Booker,
- 41:19Speaker 1: You're missing a lot.
- 41:20Speaker 8: Of dollars, another offensive lineman.
- 41:22Speaker 1: It's like he just still went out there and did
- 41:25Speaker 1: his thing.
- 41:26Speaker 6: I think Dak has had those games before though, yeah
- 41:28Speaker 6: he has, like it was one of his best ones.
- 41:31Speaker 6: But I feel like he just gets so much unnecessary
- 41:34Speaker 6: hate and every single year he brings it.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, this is one of the better ones. Because again,
- 41:41Speaker 3: coming in this game and you come up with a very
- 41:42Speaker 3: bad loss to the Browns, you knew the Packers are going,
- 41:45Speaker 3: We're gonna be pissed off. Homecoming from Michael Parsons is like,
- 41:48Speaker 3: there's just there's no way that the Packers are going
- 41:50Speaker 3: to lose this game. And for him to put up
- 41:53Speaker 3: forty in him before the way he did, absolutely and
- 41:57Speaker 3: too it's like people want to know who won the
- 41:59Speaker 3: trade when you say everybody won the trade, like all
- 42:02Speaker 3: Jerry Jones needed, Like you saw the life of both
- 42:04Speaker 3: teams after that tie was over, you know, there cowboys
- 42:08Speaker 3: kind of you know a few more smiles, like to
- 42:09Speaker 3: them that that tie was a dub for the right
- 42:12Speaker 3: Packers It's like they're sitting there fucking god damn. I
- 42:15Speaker 3: kid and and and Micah. He he had that one sack,
- 42:20Speaker 3: but it was kind of like a chase tackle on Dak.
- 42:23Speaker 3: But for that to happen had to go down that way.
- 42:26Speaker 3: You know. Jerry's like, I think he even said after
- 42:28Speaker 3: the game, it's like he made a comment on paying
- 42:32Speaker 3: Dak over Micah. You see tonight U Dak Prescott, He's
- 42:36Speaker 3: indispensable Micah not so not so much. Did He was
- 42:40Speaker 3: something like that. I'm paraphrasing, but it was something like that.
- 42:42Speaker 3: You see the promo before the game that they rolled.
- 42:45Speaker 6: Like the thing with Jerry Jones, He's like, you know,
- 42:48Speaker 6: I want the best for Micah. He's a great guy,
- 42:51Speaker 6: Like we have a great relationship. It's like a one
- 42:53Speaker 6: on one interview. Then it cuts to cuts to Michael Parson.
- 42:56Speaker 6: He goes, I didn't even get a text from Jerry
- 42:58Speaker 6: Jones when I got traded. I was like, dang, this
- 43:01Speaker 6: is some freaking WWE story.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, how do we feel about ties?
- 43:06Speaker 3: About who ties in the NFL?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Get him out of here? Yeah, I have to take
- 43:10Speaker 1: a long walk off the short pier.
- 43:12Speaker 3: I see a shitload like I want to see that
- 43:15Speaker 3: game be like sixty five sixty two. Yeah, like score
- 43:18Speaker 3: until you can't anymore. Let's get to college football rules.
- 43:21Speaker 1: College football rules, or just start them at the fifty, like, hey,
- 43:23Speaker 1: the red zones a little too easy. It's gonna skew
- 43:25Speaker 1: a bunch of stats. And everyone's so good in the NFL, Like, okay,
- 43:28Speaker 1: start them with the fifty, so you know you're, for
- 43:30Speaker 1: the most part gonna walk away with points, specially when
- 43:32Speaker 1: these kickers are kicking it nowadays.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Yeah, they're making those right, it's like a sixty something.
- 43:37Speaker 1: And make it. Yeah, make it college rules after that, ye, Like,
- 43:39Speaker 1: put them on the fifty. You score three k touchdown,
- 43:42Speaker 1: wins it, three gets in another overtime, shut the clock off, start.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Going for two?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Right?
- 43:46Speaker 8: Is tying the most embarrassing result?
- 43:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:50Speaker 1: Not if you're the Cowboys. I think that is the
- 43:53Speaker 1: best result you could have asked for.
- 43:55Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I mean, they could have obviously won that game, but
- 44:00Speaker 1: no one ever thought the Cowboys were even going to
- 44:02Speaker 1: stand a chance, especially when it's you know, they score touchdown,
- 44:05Speaker 1: the end up blocking a kick and getting two points
- 44:06Speaker 1: off of it. But at some point, like the first
- 44:09Speaker 1: half were like, Oh, they're about to run away with it.
- 44:11Speaker 1: We were all right, here we go. And if you're
- 44:13Speaker 1: the Cowboys getting that tie, it's like they gotta feel good.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Yeah, a tie is just a weird headspace. It's like
- 44:19Speaker 3: you didn't lose, you didn't win, you know what, you
- 44:21Speaker 3: don't know how, Yeah, you don't know how to feel.
- 44:23Speaker 1: We go back to our last tier talk.
- 44:24Speaker 3: You had sure a.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Waste of a game. You just did all of that effort,
- 44:29Speaker 2: You had all of those hits put on you for what.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Yeah, my brain doesn't work well enough to understand how
- 44:34Speaker 1: ties affect standings and stuff like that.
- 44:36Speaker 2: It's I think it's so dumb.
- 44:37Speaker 3: It's dumb.
- 44:38Speaker 1: We got to move on. Put them on the fifty
- 44:40Speaker 1: college rules.
- 44:41Speaker 3: This one's from Kyle Green KG zero seven to zero
- 44:45Speaker 3: hashtag tier talk. If Jerry gets a deal done with Micah,
- 44:48Speaker 3: it's arguable the Cowboys are four and four to oh
- 44:51Speaker 3: team to start this early NFL season.
- 44:53Speaker 1: That's false, Kyle, That is very false, Kyle. That defense
- 44:56Speaker 1: is so bad. I know Mike is a stud, but.
- 44:59Speaker 3: One yeah, one pass rusher is not gonna Yeah you're
- 45:03Speaker 3: not four Yeah, exactly.
- 45:07Speaker 1: You saw Schottenheimer the way he was able to game
- 45:09Speaker 1: plan Micah like, teams can't do that. You can get
- 45:12Speaker 1: one guy and say all right, we're done with him.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Look at the Raiders. I mean, name another guy on
- 45:18Speaker 1: the Raiders defense besides Max Crosby. Max Crosby is a
- 45:20Speaker 1: was a man on a mission the first half of
- 45:21Speaker 1: the game. Yes, I mean Max is incredible, incredible. I
- 45:27Speaker 1: think we're getting to a point with the Raiders like, hey,
- 45:29Speaker 1: can we not waste this man's talent. We need to
- 45:31Speaker 1: get him one. We gotta get him one because there's
- 45:34Speaker 1: too many picks, too many fumbles, so much on the
- 45:37Speaker 1: off side of the ball. Shout out Ashton Genty.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Shout out as Genty, coming out party, coming out party, touchdowns.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Yeah, the old stand.
- 45:46Speaker 2: I was gonna say summer saying he's back to his stance,
- 45:49Speaker 2: and now he's he's back to Genty.
- 45:54Speaker 3: If he just stood back there and got him.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Bowed out, the would be hilarious.
- 45:58Speaker 3: We got a tiar talk on ties from El Guapo
- 46:01Speaker 3: with the hashtag Tier Talk Tier Talk Ties Honorable mention
- 46:04Speaker 3: the bow Tie Tier three, the two thousand and two

- 46:22Speaker 3: El Guapolo, Thank you Aguapo.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Very sweet.
- 46:28Speaker 3: There were another honorable mentioned Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals
- 46:32Speaker 3: back in two thousand and sixteen, London ended in a
- 46:36Speaker 3: tie twenty three.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Well, luckily never had to be a part of a tie.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Gene Daniels at Geen Daniels twenty four can tell the
- 46:44Speaker 1: one seventy seven take some of his Vegas winnings and
- 46:47Speaker 1: get us a wide receiver in the portal you Mish
- 46:49Speaker 1: football is almost back. I agree, Gene, and luckily.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Lookly for you vlog. That'd be a funny vlog.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Busting with the Boys. Just gave fifty thousand dollars to
- 47:00Speaker 1: Michigan's NIL fund, so we've contributed.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Trip to Vegas is for the NIL collective of Michigan.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Shout out Jean, But yeah, man, I think the Cowboys
- 47:15Speaker 1: need to be happy about that result. That's awesome. If
- 47:17Speaker 1: you're the Packers, everything was in your favor. You're playing
- 47:20Speaker 1: the worst defense in the NFL. You just lost, had
- 47:23Speaker 1: a bad loss against a bad Browns team, and it's
- 47:26Speaker 1: like everyone's pissed off. Everyone wants to show you have
- 47:28Speaker 1: and you still tie.
- 47:30Speaker 3: That's tough, man, Hey, Jackie boy, Titans man. Nothing.
- 47:38Speaker 10: Yeah, there's no before.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Before before you say anying about Titans, I want to
- 47:41Speaker 1: point out the Patriots. Mike Rabel's Patriots won forty two
- 47:45Speaker 1: to thirteen against the Panthers. Okay, Titans, so.
- 47:50Speaker 10: No prepared statement. The Titans are miserable. This is probably
- 47:54Speaker 10: the worst franchise we've ever had in the history of
- 47:58Speaker 10: the Titans organization. Camwart said it best keep it a buck,
- 48:02Speaker 10: whereas they got a fire Callahan, he's right now. This
- 48:06Speaker 10: will come out at two, so thirty minutes prior to
- 48:08Speaker 10: this at one thirty. Callahan has a schedule press conference.
- 48:10Speaker 3: As he does every week.
- 48:12Speaker 10: I don't even think they're gonna fire him, which is crazy.
- 48:15Speaker 10: But yeah, we're just at the point where yesterday might
- 48:20Speaker 10: have been one of the worst NFL games in the
- 48:23Speaker 10: history of the league. I mean, until the third quarter,
- 48:25Speaker 10: neither the Houston Texans or the Tennessee Titans got to
- 48:28Speaker 10: the red zone. Obviously, Houston turned it on the fourth
- 48:31Speaker 10: quarter but it's just embarrassing. It's not fun to watch.
- 48:37Speaker 10: After you finished Titans games at noon, ninety percent of
- 48:40Speaker 10: your soul doesn't even want to watch another game, But
- 48:42Speaker 10: you still push through because you put a couple bets
- 48:44Speaker 10: in on FanDuel shout out Fandals towards. But yeah, Titans
- 48:48Speaker 10: are miserable, and uh, everyone knows in the league. It's
- 48:53Speaker 10: by far where the thirty two of thirty two teams
- 48:56Speaker 10: in the league. So we'll see. I don't really have my.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Jan you guys. You just need an imprompt to you
- 49:02Speaker 3: guys versus the Saints, Titans versus Saints, and just see
- 49:05Speaker 3: figure who's getting the one pick? Yeah, what are your
- 49:08Speaker 3: what are your thoughts on the Titans? I mean you
- 49:10Speaker 3: were a cornerstone in this place.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they don't have a competitive team. They
- 49:16Speaker 1: got too many holes everywhere. That doesn't seem like there's
- 49:18Speaker 1: a whole account of a whole lot of accountability other
- 49:21Speaker 1: than the quarterback right now, situationally, they don't handle it
- 49:25Speaker 1: very well. I think you know, you have the two
- 49:27Speaker 1: minute in the first game against the Broncos and it
- 49:30Speaker 1: didn't like go the way Callahan wanted to go. And
- 49:33Speaker 1: so now there's a level of like, I don't know
- 49:35Speaker 1: what to do when I'm on the fifty to forty
- 49:38Speaker 1: five going in and he's second guessing himself quite a bit. Uh,
- 49:42Speaker 1: you got me, Latham's hurt. You got one of your
- 49:45Speaker 1: running backs is hurt. Your veteran wide receiver, you paid
- 49:48Speaker 1: ninety million dollars had some uncharacteristic drops ninety two million.
- 49:52Speaker 1: It's just it's really being a part of teams that
- 49:55Speaker 1: have been in the position of, you know, being one
- 49:57Speaker 1: of the worst teams in the NFL. It's hard man
- 50:00Speaker 1: And do I think Callahan is a long term there's
- 50:06Speaker 1: a long term coach at the Titans.
- 50:07Speaker 3: I don't.
- 50:08Speaker 1: I don't think he seems very overwhelmed. That franchise in
- 50:12Speaker 1: general seems very overwhelmed. It's the top bottom thing. It
- 50:14Speaker 1: starts with the ownership. That has to essentially if I'm
- 50:17Speaker 1: if I'm the Titans and I'm Amy Adams Strunk and
- 50:21Speaker 1: if everything's going the way it seems like it's going
- 50:23Speaker 1: to go with Callahan where he doesn't have a job
- 50:25Speaker 1: by the end of the year or at the end
- 50:27Speaker 1: of the year. If I'm Amy, I'm not releasing a
- 50:31Speaker 1: lawyer press conference, Hey, we've decided to part ways. Want
- 50:34Speaker 1: to appreciate Callian for everything he's done for this franchise.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I would essentially do a selfie video and say, listen,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I made a mistake. This is my team. I hired
- 50:45Speaker 1: the wrong guy. I would essentially throw Callahan under the
- 50:47Speaker 1: bus and be like, the fans deserve better. Here we go.
- 50:51Speaker 1: If I'm this is strictly if I'm Amy, if she
- 50:55Speaker 1: does a video or just does a video in general,
- 50:58Speaker 1: like if you're as a g as a Titan than Jack,
- 51:00Speaker 1: if you're a Titans fan and Amy doesn't be a
- 51:02Speaker 1: selfhi video, she says there and she's like, I want
- 51:04Speaker 1: to speak to the Titans fans. We've let you down.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Are you guys feeling a whole lot better about your ownership?
- 51:09Speaker 1: Taking accountability?
- 51:10Speaker 10: I mean maybe one percent better? But day not do that.
- 51:15Speaker 10: She's kind of a coward, and every Titans fan knows
- 51:17Speaker 10: that she probably will not even address She no, this
- 51:20Speaker 10: isn't even a joke, like Damie Adams will not address
- 51:23Speaker 10: the Brian Kylahan firing when it inevitably happens. She will
- 51:26Speaker 10: have someone else do it. And this is how it's
- 51:29Speaker 10: always been, and that's why a lot of people, if
- 51:31Speaker 10: you go online, are saying sell the franchise because the ownership,
- 51:35Speaker 10: like you said, it starts from the top down and
- 51:38Speaker 10: it's miserable. It's like, in the twenty five twenty six
- 51:43Speaker 10: years I've been a Titans fan, this is the worst
- 51:47Speaker 10: organization that has been run operated and being like, I
- 51:51Speaker 10: can't imagine some of these players where it's like you
- 51:54Speaker 10: hear all the outside noise and you just see how
- 51:57Speaker 10: pitiful it is and how you know the lack of
- 52:00Speaker 10: motivation it is to go in today and be like, Hey,
- 52:03Speaker 10: this is gonna be the week we're gonna go and
- 52:05Speaker 10: show the Cardinals what we're gonna do. Come to the live.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Show or the.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Well we'll have fun at that. Well, we'll have fun
- 52:13Speaker 1: at that. I'll say this man like wizen Hunt two
- 52:17Speaker 1: and fourteen, three and thirteen wasn't great. It ended up
- 52:20Speaker 1: getting turned around. It ended up getting turned around. So
- 52:22Speaker 1: if you're a Titans fan, there is you you've had
- 52:26Speaker 1: history patches of success where it can turn around and
- 52:30Speaker 1: get better. I do I think Callian's got I really
- 52:33Speaker 1: don't know if I'm him. I need a lot more
- 52:35Speaker 1: guys in my ear who's telling me situationally, what's going on,
- 52:38Speaker 1: so I can focus on it. He gives up play
- 52:41Speaker 1: calling last week and obviously didn't turn out very good.
- 52:44Speaker 1: But you've got you've got a first overall pick that
- 52:46Speaker 1: is showing a lot of potential, and you just truly
- 52:49Speaker 1: from a roster standpoint, you don't you don't have the
- 52:53Speaker 1: horses to get it done right now, you don't, and
- 52:56Speaker 1: so this year's a wash.
- 52:58Speaker 12: It is what it is.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Feel good about having the first, you know, a top
- 53:01Speaker 1: three pick in this draft and let's hey, let's get optimistic.
- 53:06Speaker 1: It's not great right now, but it could be.
- 53:09Speaker 3: We've seen last couple though, like if this year's of washed,
- 53:11Speaker 3: last year as a wash, this year's a wash, right,
- 53:14Speaker 3: I understand.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Yeah, twenty fourteen was a wash, twenty fifteen was what boom,
- 53:19Speaker 1: twenty sixteen, nine and seven, seventeen nine and seven, eighteen
- 53:22Speaker 1: nine and seven. You know, like you start to get
- 53:24Speaker 1: in the position of being successful. Guys just got to
- 53:27Speaker 1: learn how to win again.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Man.
- 53:28Speaker 1: It's hard, it's tough, and when you lose a shitload,
- 53:32Speaker 1: it's kind of like you don't really know what to do.
- 53:34Speaker 1: It's like kind of just kind of becomes you for
- 53:36Speaker 1: a second, and all it takes is one little spark
- 53:39Speaker 1: you get a win. It's like, oh there's a little
- 53:40Speaker 1: bit of confidence, and keep it moving.
- 53:42Speaker 2: This new stadium opening up, they got to turn it around.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Quick, no doubt.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Then.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'm not taking away from the amounts of pressure that
- 53:50Speaker 1: it's happening around Nashville and what they need to do
- 53:53Speaker 1: in order to have this twenty twenty seven look a
- 53:55Speaker 1: whole lot better than it's looking right now.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Get John Gruden in here.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Do you think John Greden would ta the job right now?
- 54:05Speaker 1: You got a lot more holes than that.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Man.
- 54:07Speaker 1: It's just tough.
- 54:09Speaker 3: You know who else sucks through the Saints? The Saints.
- 54:13Speaker 3: The Bills played him over the weekend. I know if
- 54:14Speaker 3: you knew that, I.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Didn't know that until the fourth Yeah, yeah, I mean
- 54:21Speaker 1: that's I think that's Josh Allen's m O at this point.
- 54:23Speaker 3: I mean, the Saints don't like suck suck, but just
- 54:26Speaker 3: trying to get us, you know, in a different bobs
- 54:28Speaker 3: are getting really low.
- 54:30Speaker 1: It was more it was more of a therapy session
- 54:34Speaker 1: the red zone.
- 54:35Speaker 6: Saints were in the red zone a bunch. They just
- 54:36Speaker 6: could never get the touchdown. But it was close up
- 54:39Speaker 6: until like yeah, halfway through the fourth quarter.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and then Josh Allen kind of took over. He
- 54:44Speaker 1: so running the ball a little bit. Nice man. That's
- 54:49Speaker 1: that I was saying, though, that's Josh Allen's mom o,
- 54:50Speaker 1: Like he's kind of had like an average to slightly
- 54:54Speaker 1: below average defense and he's just been able to put
- 54:56Speaker 1: points on the board no matter what James Coke is
- 54:58Speaker 1: cooking right now, he's doing his thing, like Josh is
- 55:01Speaker 1: the real fucking deal, the real that he's always gonna
- 55:03Speaker 1: they're gonna be contenders as long as he's the.
- 55:05Speaker 8: Quarterbacks back to back m v P.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Possibly.
- 55:08Speaker 3: I want to apologize for the audience bringing this back
- 55:10Speaker 3: to the Tits, but we do have a tiered talk
- 55:11Speaker 3: hash tag tier talk from Slick from Slick Rick six
- 55:14Speaker 3: to six. Uh, do you trade your first round and
- 55:17Speaker 3: second round pick to get an edge rusher or weapon
- 55:20Speaker 3: for the Titans? Jack?
- 55:24Speaker 10: I don't know, No, No, just defeated.
- 55:33Speaker 6: We just went over with Michael Parsons, Like, one edge
- 55:35Speaker 6: rusher is not going to change your franchis right right?
- 55:39Speaker 1: I mean Jeff clown, Jeff looking, he had that one
- 55:42Speaker 1: play he swam over the Senate That was unbelievable. Yeah,
- 55:45Speaker 1: saying fastest sac That was incredible to see.
- 55:50Speaker 7: If if we're talking optimism, if they do have the
- 55:52Speaker 7: number one pick, they have a quarterback, so maybe they
- 55:55Speaker 7: trade that number one pick add some more pieces.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe true optimism, optimism and it hurt clump. Yeah,
- 56:03Speaker 1: spend money. If you're the Titans, man, do you aimy
- 56:05Speaker 1: get your check book out like you want this thing
- 56:08Speaker 1: to go? Well, you gotta spend money and get some
- 56:09Speaker 1: cats and then get some people to put them in
- 56:11Speaker 1: good positions. Noel Belcher at Noel Underscore Belcher hashtag tear
- 56:20Speaker 1: talk a lot of dudes out right now. What are
- 56:23Speaker 1: the worst injuries the boys had while playing ACL it's
- 56:28Speaker 1: been a mainstay.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Yeah, PCL and breaking well the list, Frank, the list,
- 56:36Speaker 3: Frank that.
- 56:36Speaker 8: I had the PCL was nothing to you though.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I was out eight days. I was on the
- 56:40Speaker 3: practice field after eight days. Put some some stuff in
- 56:43Speaker 3: the old knee. What was the most painful injury you had?
- 56:46Speaker 3: The foot? By far? I thought somebody took a shotgun
- 56:49Speaker 3: to the top of my arch.
- 56:51Speaker 8: From this from Barsel Camp or from NFL.
- 56:56Speaker 3: We're playing the Vikings. We're playing the Vikings. Bro I
- 56:59Speaker 3: remember it happening. I kind of like plant to go
- 57:02Speaker 3: into a block and it just pow, and I like
- 57:06Speaker 3: kind of crawled off on the side, and doc came,
- 57:07Speaker 3: it's broken. The entire art you just snapped in half. Yeah,
- 57:16Speaker 3: I'm retiring. That one was painful, and I had this.
- 57:20Speaker 3: I had this weird cyst on my tailbone that was
- 57:22Speaker 3: pretty brutal from football. From hygiene. The docs are being
- 57:29Speaker 3: there trying to pop and stuff, and oh that she
- 57:31Speaker 3: would be so painful. They'd have to numb it. So
- 57:33Speaker 3: they have to put like whether it's like light of king,
- 57:35Speaker 3: but even the needle like going up underneath to try
- 57:37Speaker 3: and numb it. Oh my god.
- 57:39Speaker 2: The one that is that one that's like right above
- 57:41Speaker 2: like your butt crack kind.
- 57:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got them to take you. I
- 57:44Speaker 3: got videos on my phone.
- 57:46Speaker 2: So like my girlfriends in PA school, that's kind of
- 57:48Speaker 2: you get that from kind of being dirty.
- 57:50Speaker 3: It's more because I have a lot of hair on
- 57:52Speaker 3: my ass, you know this showering with me, I have
- 57:55Speaker 3: a lot of hair on my ass.
- 57:57Speaker 2: That's what that's what it is. It's like it's essentially
- 57:59Speaker 2: just and ingrown hair that's just like got infected, just
- 58:03Speaker 2: from kind of being dirty.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Yeah, what my ass crack is dirty?
- 58:10Speaker 8: That low back pinch is horrible.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Bro, that's kind of gross. Man.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Yeah, trust me, I didn't want to, yes really Oh yeah,
- 58:21Speaker 3: all the ship that comes out of that thing.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You have a video for real ship? Yeah, I gotta
- 58:26Speaker 1: see that video.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Not one that's like where like opens up and everything else,
- 58:29Speaker 3: but one where basically all the trainers were all like
- 58:31Speaker 3: laughing and stuff because it's like another visit I have
- 58:33Speaker 3: to do where they're trying to pop up, like I
- 58:35Speaker 3: need you guys pop this thing just in their ass,
- 58:41Speaker 3: tuned it.
- 58:42Speaker 8: Up these disguise in the backspass. So you got another
- 58:45Speaker 8: ingrown hair.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Come.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Do you want to talk about the Eagles at all?
- 58:48Speaker 1: Your Eagles being undefeated still?
- 58:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 58:50Speaker 1: Sure, your boy Jailing Hurts zero completions.
- 58:54Speaker 7: In the second zero passing yards zero, but also zero
- 58:57Speaker 7: losses in the last calendar year as of day when
- 59:00Speaker 7: Jalen Hurts has started a game and finished it. So
- 59:03Speaker 7: I know we just the Titan stuff was tough as
- 59:05Speaker 7: I'm sitting here thinking that the Eagles, I I have
- 59:07Speaker 7: not watched the Eagles lose a game of football when
- 59:10Speaker 7: Jalen Hurts started and finished in a year.
- 59:12Speaker 10: It's kind of crazy to think about. So I don't
- 59:14Speaker 10: care about the completions.
- 59:15Speaker 2: I know A J.
- 59:15Speaker 3: Brown might. Yeah, it always feels like death taxes, Eagles
- 59:19Speaker 3: being undefeated and AJ Brown cryptic tweet coming out.
- 59:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean he he had nine targets and only
- 59:26Speaker 7: two catches for say, look.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Until the Eagles lose, Like there's no they're they're winners. Bro.
- 59:32Speaker 3: It's like, hats off to Siriana. He's a bona fide
- 59:34Speaker 3: head coach right now. Like I I don't know, Like
- 59:36Speaker 3: there's there's times where I'm like, man, this team is
- 59:39Speaker 3: they don't have a It sound like they move the
- 59:41Speaker 3: ball that well on offense, but then they do it
- 59:42Speaker 3: the right times, like they win. They're four and oh
- 59:45Speaker 3: I have I have no fucking clue. I put out
- 59:47Speaker 3: a thought last night to where it's like they just
- 59:49Speaker 3: seemed like this, uh, this puzzle that you can't figure
- 59:52Speaker 3: out and there's nothing to figure out our dissect until
- 59:54Speaker 3: they lose.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Yeah. It kind of reminds you of like the Chiefs
- 59:58Speaker 1: last year a little bit, how they just know no
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: matter what, they just win. It's like, oh, yeah, they
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: they did this, they did that, it's like really just win, right.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: But the Chiefs, though, there's never like this isn't like
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: there's never like this this underlying feeling that there's something
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: there that's going to come out eventually. Like the Chiefs
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: is like they find ways to win there. They've always
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: been creative, like they've always figured out. With the Eagles,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: I feel like there's just there's something that's there that
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: just hasn't came to the service yet, and until it does,
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: there's nothing to really say or talking about, right because
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: like zero completion, zero yards of the second and say
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: whatever you want about Jalen Hurts, but he's winning. Got
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: creative with the touch push, Like what two touchdowns on
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: some fake touch push.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I think that was first report that was gonna happen
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: on the locker room. We talked about that this week.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Yeah, now that you have an.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Unstoppable play at a at a wrinkle to it.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Shout out Jaha Campbell, Dude, do you guys feel that
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: same way too?
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: I feel like that's kind of my feeling like there
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: is something there, but I just there's really there's nothing
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: you can say until they lose, because they've again, they
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: haven't lost in a full calendar year. They're the reigning
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Super Bowl champs.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Like the Eagles are gonna eagle and there's really nothing
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: you can do about it. Yeah, like nobody knows what
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: that means. I don't even know what it means, but
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: it's like it's inevitable.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Great defense. Do you think Sirianni and his coaching staff
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and know what that thing into the surface is that
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: can hit them. That's why you got big.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: They're just so creative with what they do, Like that
- 1:01:23Speaker 10: block punt.
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: I went into the Bucks game, I'm like, oh, it's
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: gonna be a tight one because Jalen Hurts I think
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: is one in four versus the Bucks. Nick Sirianni won
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: and four versus the Bucks and then they block that
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: punt and return it for a touchdown and it's just like,
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: oh yeah, never mind. The Eagles like figure it out
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: somehow every way.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: But Buddy Bakers still had a chance at the end
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of the game. I know Baker's great, and he was
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: under a shipload of pressure and that was that was
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: a bad throw, But like, can't take away from what
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: he's done these last four weeks. Man three game winning
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: drives had an opportunity.
- 1:01:51Speaker 12: To do it.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: In this fourth game they were down what was the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: score half they were getting body backed.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: It was it was bad a half, Yeah, yeah it was.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: It was more than a two score game, like and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Baker just still came out continued to fight.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just and going off the chief things. Last
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: year's like who do they got? Like they got Mahomes.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: You don't sit there with the way that kind of
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Eagles are squeaking them out. It's not like, oh, it's
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: like no matter what the trump card of everything is
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: in Jalen, it's just like you have no clue. It's
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: just the team.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I mean, Jaalen is very He's a conservative quarterback, takes
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: care of the football, allows his defense to work from.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Knows he has a good run game, even though the
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: run game hasn't been as good as it could be.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: He knows he's got weapons at the wide receiver spot.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: So like, yeah, they're packing the boxing. But at the
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: same time, like if you are, if you're a defense
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: scouting them, it's like, yeah, they're Their offensive production through
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the year hasn't been great, but they got Goddard, they
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: got aj they got Devonte Is Davante, they got Davonte
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Smith like John Doatson, Yeah, John Dontson, Like they have
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: so many weapons. It's like even if you think, okay,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: they're not going to throw the ball on us, they
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: could at any point. And that's what's scary.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: As the Rams last week, some dogs on that defensive side. Yeah,
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Rams heavyweight about Rams Colts Stafford late in the game. Yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: I mean Colts. The Colts are a good team, Bro,
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Colts are a good team.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: But I'll say this kind of saw the loss coming.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Daniel Jones before the season started, didn't even post on Instagram.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: After last week posted his first time. No, Daniel can't
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: do it, man, you can't go and he put out
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: a post they're three and oh he said something about
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: like having fun playing football, very innocent if he could
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: pull that post upwhere But he had nothing the first
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: three weeks and then all of a sudden they go
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: three and oh was it the first or second drive?
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: There was a pick? Oh, DJ tough.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Dude, I mean, I mean they won that game.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: That run just got called back.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: There it is bro, there's the post.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: And then Stafford threw them the called back then the
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: end zone just for his life going to dive on it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Grabs it kind of like an oh my god. Yeah,
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: he's like, oh my god, did like did I get
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: on this in time? Yeah?
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: I feel like the Colts may have lost that game
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: rather than the Rams winning it.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: That's a fair point. But like again, if you're a
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: good team, you're gonna take advantage of bad football, right Stafford.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Two touddies in the last four minutes of the game,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: like doing Stafford things like you got Davanta, you got Nakula,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Pooka Nakula, you got Kyron Williams, like they again, You's like,
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: you have to take advantage of bad football.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Also, like two touchdowns taking off the board from a
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: penalty and a Donna Mitchell, the same guy he had
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: the holding on the Jonathan Taylor and then fumbling it
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: in the end zone.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but what will saying is like, Okay, those touchdowns happen.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Who's to say that Stafford and the Boys don't just
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: return one right away? You know, like at well was
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: he with old Miscat kind of comes in he plays
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: like very sparingly. Louisville like very sparingly. Could have gave
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: up on him a bunch, but the dudes just got
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: insane elite speed and then he throws an absolute dime
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: like Stafford is the man. Yeah, he is the man.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: He's always gonna have the game. Their run game looks good.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Their d line is nasty.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Amazing right now.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: Has five hundred and three yards on the season in
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: four games.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Dude, that one over the middle that he picked up
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: like the ball was thrown so low like and he
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: like just scoops it and rolls it so it's like
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: not even in question whether he caught the ball or not.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You know why he's good? Big head kids got a
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: big head. You can always tell success in the size
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: of a head. Man, all with Mitch Quentin Tarantino. Big
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: heads just have a way of making itos big head.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So something to think about. Maybe you should do that
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the combine measure guys heads.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: The fumble before the goal line, it's still just running
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: through my head. JP, Yeah, why does it keep happening?
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I don't see how that's still a thing. There's always something, man.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Do you want to go a little tear talk before
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: we get the boys out of here?
- 1:05:48Speaker 13: Uh?
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: We have a hashtag tear talk coming from Tyler Hebert.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Hebert t Hebert double zero. If everyone on the bus
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: was a part of the all White team coaching staff?
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: What position would everyone have and are they covering plus
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: twenty three and a half.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: So we're the coaching staff.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys are the coaching staff. What position would
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: you guys be?
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: I got the j.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: JP special teams.
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: I got special teams with your permission.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take that. You have to shave your head,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: give me a Bisaccia look, yeah, easy, which I know
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: they're kind of packers special teams. Hate bringing that up
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: because I love Bisacia. I know he's ready to just
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: cut some guys right now, Mitch, I feel like you got.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I would be like wide receivers coach. I don't know
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: if I don't know if I want to take offensive
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: coordinator away from Taylor, and I don't know if I'm
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: ready for that responsibility, but I would definitely be wide
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: receivers coach.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. If we get the ask Madden going, Yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: the week before, we would all sit in a room,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: we go over plays we like best for our wide receivers,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: for our running backs, for a quarterback. We'd be in
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: a good spot. I would find myself in an OC
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: offensive line position obviously.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I spent a lot of time with the offensive line,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: figure out their strengths and weaknesses, go call some games.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd be like a defensive minded head coach. Yeah,
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: defensive minded head coach. Could want the title of DC Defense. Oh,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: that would have to be myself All White team.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it is Will's baby. To be honest,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I don't want the pressure of being a head coach.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I want to focus on my guys. I want to
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: get into a room. I want to love him up,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: let him make the hard decisions of who to cut,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: who to keep.
- 1:07:26Speaker 9: I was if this is allowed, I would love to
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: coach up maybe the cheer squad, or be in charge
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: of a halftime show. Mhm there you Yeah, game entertainment,
- 1:07:37Speaker 9: if that's okay with you all.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I think in game experience, if you're the head of that,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: it's gonna be win loser draw. The fans are gonna
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: have fun.
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: I was gonna say I'll be the get back coach,
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: analytic guy, I'll do that.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be also Nolan would be good at
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: that though.
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: Ryan, Yeah, he can be analytics.
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: I'll be the get back coach.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: You could be our dom.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: I'll just be holding you guys back.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Yeah, a big don not say that to secure, get
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: you a couple of chains, gold everything.
- 1:08:03Speaker 12: I love that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you handle business. You on that phone all the
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: time too. Yeah.
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: I think I'm gonna take like the successor of a
- 1:08:11Speaker 10: Mike Keith be our color commentator. Okay, I can get
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: pretty vocal, you.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Know, all right? I think the DC title would have
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: to go to Jared Demon.
- 1:08:23Speaker 10: Covered twenty three and a half.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Then well, no, you let you.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Let will call the place. Let beaming get all the credit.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Then he goes six a head coaching jump somewhere. But
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: we'll see it here.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Do we think the spread is actually twenty three and
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: a half?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Like, is that like we're getting better? Yeah? I think
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: twenty three and a half's fair.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: I feel like it'd be closer to like sixteen seventeen.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Oh buddy, yeah, look we'll see it his disrespect twenty
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: three and a half.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we're keep it at twenty three and a half
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: and put the house on it. We're covering responsibly.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: I feel like we're better than twenty three and a half.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: I got a good squad, right, we think so too,
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: But let Vegas leave it at twenty three and a
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: half right now.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Right or Tyler or Tyler only coaching staff to ever
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: bet our own games? Yeahah yeah, See how a lot
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: it takes us to get exile from the league.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: What else we got here?
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: But I think we got a couple more tear talks.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: We're good, we feel good. Yeah, and we have our
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: special guest, Dan Lanning came on the shows. Give him
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: around of applause. Dan Lanning comes in after a big
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: double ot win over Penn State at Penn State, big time,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Dante Dante, Dante more correct Dante more plus six fifty
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: and the fandle to win the Heisman right now. Just
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: an incredible game to watch. Incredible game to watch. Hope
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: you guys enjoy that. Any parting thoughts.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: Let's be great, man, let's be great. Let's be great.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Aber Spooptober. It starts Wednesday. We'll have the locker room
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: decked out. That's the first show you're gonna see as
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Spooptober begins. It's gonna be a hell of a fall, boys,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: hell of a fall. We're gonna have a great time.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Big hugs, tiny cases, subscribe.
- 1:09:58Speaker 13: That's where we'll start the show. What uh, what was that?
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: Post g you are juiced up. Yeah, I just about
- 1:10:04Speaker 13: to you know what it's like after a game. You're
- 1:10:06Speaker 13: about to cry, You're about to scream. You're just like jacked.
- 1:10:09Speaker 12: And I probably had like fifty zin's at the time,
- 1:10:11Speaker 12: you know, and.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Hell yeah, no free shoutouts is in.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: Well, you're scrolling the timeline, you see uh you know,
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: you see the clips of coach a landing. You see
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: the cocaine clip. You see coach of Lanning just letting
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: out a primal yell and.
- 1:10:25Speaker 13: Just ah, like during the whole time he had all
- 1:10:29Speaker 13: the emotives you got.
- 1:10:31Speaker 12: We're no different, right, Like, you can't play anymore. This
- 1:10:34Speaker 12: is the closest you can get to play. And that's
- 1:10:36Speaker 12: what That's what those moments feel like like. It's like
- 1:10:38Speaker 12: that's how close you get to touch on it.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: You know, dude, you held what was it? You held
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Penn State to what six points in the first fifty
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: minutes of the game. Talk Old Whill's back season. We're
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: gonna keep going talk to me about the defensive play
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to get that the white guy, white boy getting over
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: in the zone defense to pick that thing off. Like,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: take me through that play, call all that stuff, because
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: I know you're defensive minded, coach, and it was awesome
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to see me, like everybody at the bus in the
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: stream on Saturday night was we're all.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Rolling, especially when they had some life there at the
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: in the second.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: The momentum momentum, momentum, and you kind of quieted the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: crowd and all of a sudden, we're going over time.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: They're they're right in that game. So take me through
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that defensive call.
- 1:11:21Speaker 12: You know, they had some success and we'd hold them
- 1:11:24Speaker 12: all game, but that we felt like they found something,
- 1:11:26Speaker 12: they found a place to get extra hats, and we
- 1:11:27Speaker 12: didn't have a great answer. I smurber flipping over to
- 1:11:29Speaker 12: defense and saying, hey, look, you guys got to come
- 1:11:32Speaker 12: up with somebody call others play and and we got like,
- 1:11:34Speaker 12: what's our Let's look at our roll decks? What do
- 1:11:36Speaker 12: we have when we not run? And then we have
- 1:11:37Speaker 12: to have a plan for the score route, which is
- 1:11:39Speaker 12: the route they ran there at the very very end.
- 1:11:42Speaker 12: So we need something that stops both right, and we
- 1:11:45Speaker 12: ran a call we hadn't ran all game, but we
- 1:11:47Speaker 12: had practiced for this game. We had created really for
- 1:11:49Speaker 12: those two those two plays, and we've been talking about
- 1:11:52Speaker 12: that route you know all game and hadn't seen it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 12: And we get out there and they give us a
- 1:11:57Speaker 12: personnel that we're like, ah, that's that's different then the
- 1:12:00Speaker 12: personnel group we've ran this against in practice. But all right,
- 1:12:03Speaker 12: let's give it a shot. And I thought Tash the
- 1:12:06Speaker 12: defensive staff and an unbelievable job is saying like, no,
- 1:12:08Speaker 12: we went through everything like this is the way that
- 1:12:10Speaker 12: we can stop both plays, and they ran it and
- 1:12:13Speaker 12: Dylan makes an unbelievable interception if he wasn't there Aaron
- 1:12:16Speaker 12: Flowers right there to play clean up. You know, we
- 1:12:18Speaker 12: had a pressure on the quarter back.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: You cut out there at the very end. I think
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: he's back with this. I see him coming back. He's back,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: He's there is I want to ask this question because
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: as a player, and if you have a really good
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: head coach, they set a good they set a good
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: story for how the week's gonna go, for how the
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: game's gonna go. And there's a philosophy or an analogy
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: you live by. You were alluding you were alluding to
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: it in the presser after the game. Death by a
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: thousand cuts, cut after cut after cut, and at the
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: very end, you're gonna hit him with one last cut,
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: and it's going to be at the jugular. Was there
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: a part of you that thought that jugular shot was
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: when you went up seventeen to three versus n ot
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: when that interception happened. No, So because you started, you
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: started giving them that they're going they're done. Yeah.
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: So like throughout the game, you'll see our players doing it,
- 1:13:08Speaker 12: like we're all, hey, that's a cut. That's a cut.
- 1:13:10Speaker 12: And I said, eventually, guys, we're going to hit a
- 1:13:11Speaker 12: couple arteries and we're gonna hit a couple of juggulars.
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: And I was telling them that was an artery, like
- 1:13:15Speaker 12: that's an artery. We got an er, but like it
- 1:13:17Speaker 12: ain't done, like let's keep chopping. But uh, I didn't.
- 1:13:21Speaker 12: I didn't know that was going to be something that
- 1:13:22Speaker 12: went public. I guess. I mean that's I should assume
- 1:13:25Speaker 12: everything goes public.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: Now, especially to you. The emotion was.
- 1:13:30Speaker 12: We're gonna we're gonna hit cuts and eventually we're gonna
- 1:13:32Speaker 12: hit a couple of arteries. And yeah, we hit one there,
- 1:13:35Speaker 12: but it obviously wasn't enough. Like unbelievable job by Penn State,
- 1:13:39Speaker 12: Like that team's a really good team. That's a hard
- 1:13:41Speaker 12: place to play that like driving up that tailgate. I
- 1:13:45Speaker 12: I haven't really seen much like that. That was really impressive.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: What was it like playing at the white Out Night game?
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: And again, like cats off to you, the staff and
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: even the players too. You have a young, very talented
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: team and uh, like a question mark going into it
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: is there gonna be a lot of firsts for a
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: lot of these guys traveling across the country and going
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: into a place like Penn State to play against that team.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Like what was that experience? Like your kids handled it well?
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Talk us through that.
- 1:14:12Speaker 12: You always talk about trying to create chaos in practice,
- 1:14:15Speaker 12: you know, before you get to the game, and that's
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: hard to replicate. Like, you know, if I could have
- 1:14:19Speaker 12: shipped in one hundred thousand fans to our practices this week,
- 1:14:21Speaker 12: I would have. You couldn't do that. I talked to
- 1:14:24Speaker 12: urban Meyer before and he talked about how there's really
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: like hot spots in the game. It's gonna be third down,
- 1:14:29Speaker 12: it's gonna be down when you're down by their student section,
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: it's gonna be the first play the game, it's gonna
- 1:14:32Speaker 12: be every punt. So we carried around a lot of
- 1:14:34Speaker 12: these turtle boxes and like, we had our speakers going,
- 1:14:38Speaker 12: we had our our our sideline speakers going, we had
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: our stadium speakers going. And then behind every huddle, we
- 1:14:43Speaker 12: had like fifteen turtle boxes up on our guys and
- 1:14:45Speaker 12: we're just holding them over and we did it. You know,
- 1:14:47Speaker 12: certain periods of practice we call this period, you know,
- 1:14:49Speaker 12: hot spot period. We'd do it on punt, you know.
- 1:14:53Speaker 12: So I was really proud to walk out of the game.
- 1:14:55Speaker 12: Our offensive line didn't have a single fall start, you know,
- 1:14:57Speaker 12: like that. That's a great example of the preparation and
- 1:15:00Speaker 12: paying off. And our guy has handled that really well.
- 1:15:01Speaker 12: We had two false starts, but it was actually from
- 1:15:04Speaker 12: our tight ends. So I thought, I thought those guys
- 1:15:06Speaker 12: handled the moment really really well.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems like he has weren't phased at all
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: by the noise during the game. Now, you had one
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: running back in particular, and it happens to be that
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: that Missouri that he's a Missouri running back, Illinois East
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Saint Louis. I believe he got the one who got you.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: He ends up going off against Orgon. Is it Jay Harris?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Is that who I'm talking about? Is that who the
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: guy is actually.
- 1:15:26Speaker 12: Deer Hill had a a but they're both both from
- 1:15:30Speaker 12: Saint Louis. Jay deer but Hill Deerre went to high
- 1:15:33Speaker 12: school All Top Catholic, which is in Illinois, but he's
- 1:15:36Speaker 12: lived in both. He's been a Missouri and been in
- 1:15:39Speaker 12: Illinois both.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: And Hill's the one that broke off Will confident. Is
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: that correct?
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: That's Jay.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: Jay broke off well and Jay him.
- 1:15:46Speaker 12: I mean, when you could pick a player on our team,
- 1:15:49Speaker 12: they could have broke off Well.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I was gonna say, well, we're watching the stream. Everyone
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: in the streams like, that's the guy that got Will.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: That's the guy that got Will. Would you say, like
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Jay's confidence game that twelve yard touchdown? Did that come
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: from spring when he went into Will Compton nine years.
- 1:16:03Speaker 12: A lot of our guys after we went against an
- 1:16:05Speaker 12: NFL player in practice and we were able to give
- 1:16:08Speaker 12: him the business. I think a lot of our guys
- 1:16:09Speaker 12: gained a lot of confidence that day. So, I mean
- 1:16:11Speaker 12: a lot of the credit belongs to Will what he
- 1:16:13Speaker 12: was able to do for our team in that moment.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Looking for If there's one thing that Will Compton love,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: it's taking it. He loves it, man, He loves every
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: time washing it into the Raiders when he's like it was.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: If it wasn't for me, this would have never happened.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Hey, Lane, He'll tell you some Missouri linebackers, man, we
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: just got a weird chip on our shoulder at all times.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: At all right, you talked about your offensive line a
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: little bit, and one of your office lineman Harvey, who
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I had the opportunity to work out with in the
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: spring game or spring practice, he has himself a little
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: personal foul hits him with the old classic guys walking
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: behind him hit you tap the heel and hits the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: other foot and he turns around he's like, hey, he
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: hit me in the face. Do you yell at him
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: during that game? And then after that kind of watched
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the play back and laugh about it, because you guys
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: got the w.
- 1:16:55Speaker 12: Why I'm pissed is because I yelled at up two
- 1:16:57Speaker 12: series before I'm like, hey, man, whistle to whistle right
- 1:17:00Speaker 12: like he goes, am I doing too much? Like you're
- 1:17:03Speaker 12: doing too much like a deep breath. And then two
- 1:17:06Speaker 12: series later he gets that, he's like, damn it, like
- 1:17:09Speaker 12: I know it, and I know I deserve to get
- 1:17:13Speaker 12: yelled at right now. No, he played a great game,
- 1:17:15Speaker 12: like he did really really well all game. But yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 12: that was a frustrating one because it's like you saw
- 1:17:20Speaker 12: it coming as a coach. The motions are so high,
- 1:17:22Speaker 12: you saw it from the sideline. All right, keep your composure,
- 1:17:25Speaker 12: keep your composure, and then it happens and it's really
- 1:17:28Speaker 12: I mean, I think we all you watch that and
- 1:17:30Speaker 12: you're like, okay, was the flag necessary there? You know,
- 1:17:33Speaker 12: if you're watching that the whole time, you're like, I don't,
- 1:17:36Speaker 12: I don't know. But it happens, and that's the kind
- 1:17:38Speaker 12: of thing you can't let somebody else have control of.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: So we have.
- 1:17:41Speaker 12: That's a great learning moment for for Alex. He played,
- 1:17:44Speaker 12: like I said, he played a really good game. That's
- 1:17:46Speaker 12: when I know he wishes he had back, especially considering
- 1:17:48Speaker 12: he got a warning before it ever happened from from
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: myself and his offensive line coach.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Uh. Speaking of penalties, can we talk about how confusing
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: the targeting rule is?
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, because that shot, Like you know, I guess, I
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: guess by rule. He's not like a defenseless receiver. But
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: you look at wild I know, dude, I know. It's
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: like I see people talking about it. I'm thinking to myself,
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: look at wit weeks a couple of weeks ago LSU, Florida,
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: and he's just he's just out on the perimeter and
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: making a hell of a play as a linebacker and
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: he gets kicked out from the game. It happened in
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Alabama Georgia as well. But bro, like, what what are
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: they explaining to you when it's like, bro, if we're
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: talking about player safety, like this dude just got destroyed
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: helmet to helmet.
- 1:18:32Speaker 12: Jay Lamar is a beast man be able to handle that.
- 1:18:34Speaker 12: But somebody told me I had something to do a hairline,
- 1:18:37Speaker 12: and I'm you know, I saw a meme afterwards on
- 1:18:39Speaker 12: Twitter of like a hairline like all the way back
- 1:18:41Speaker 12: to that, isn't it. I mean, I guess I shouldn't
- 1:18:46Speaker 12: say anything. I don't know. Uh yeah, I thought it
- 1:18:48Speaker 12: was targeting.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: That's good.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: That's a good job of recomposing yourself.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: Just now, yeah, what are they expe Like, what are
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: the referees? Like? What are officials saying to you in
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: that moment when you're just like you're like, guys, like,
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: here here's the replay. We're watching it together.
- 1:19:01Speaker 12: Like they didn't play it in the stadium obviously, so
- 1:19:03Speaker 12: they didn't play the real the replay up top, you know,
- 1:19:06Speaker 12: because everybody in that stadium that would have seen that
- 1:19:08Speaker 12: replay would have been like, oh, he's done right, Like
- 1:19:11Speaker 12: if that's not, I don't I don't know what is.
- 1:19:13Speaker 12: So all they tell you is we're looking at it
- 1:19:16Speaker 12: up top. We're looking at it up top. So it's
- 1:19:18Speaker 12: really frustrated as a coach, and you're like, what are
- 1:19:20Speaker 12: they looking at? What do they see? Because it felt
- 1:19:23Speaker 12: like one that was pretty clear, and uh, I guess
- 1:19:25Speaker 12: I guess it wasn't. You know, you got to stick
- 1:19:27Speaker 12: to what the rules are, and the rules obviously say
- 1:19:29Speaker 12: that was not targeting.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: We need Steven A Smith hairline.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Did you happen to catch the That's a good one.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: The Florida State Virginia game.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Florida State the storm, the field being stormed.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: I'm watching this game and I think with the ACC
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: they do something really cool where you're like in the
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: review you're like in the booth of going over reviews
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: and calls. I would have loved to have heard like
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: all the back and forth, like you hear all the
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: back and forth with the awesome talking about I would
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: have loved to have heard it when this was going
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: on because it's like, man, what are they even talking about?
- 1:20:02Speaker 12: Can you think this is how hypothetical and funny? Do
- 1:20:05Speaker 12: you think they like went to the booth and then
- 1:20:07Speaker 12: like hey nobody, Hey, nobody's in the booth. What nobody's
- 1:20:10Speaker 12: up there? What's going on? Like a bathroom break or
- 1:20:12Speaker 12: something like. I don't know, because that was definitely some
- 1:20:16Speaker 12: crazy contact there that was wild, but they obviously got
- 1:20:19Speaker 12: the call right, you know, I guess, I.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Guess, do you Is that something you go to like
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: this today? You go and whatever, I don't know what referee,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: if it was like if it was a Big ten
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: referee staff or whatever, do you go to the Big
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: ten and be hey.
- 1:20:33Speaker 12: We turn in plays every week? Yeah, honestly is really
- 1:20:37Speaker 12: the best when it comes to feedback on that stode.
- 1:20:39Speaker 12: So I'm anxious. We we send in plays each week,
- 1:20:41Speaker 12: like hey, can you just give us your interpretation of this?
- 1:20:44Speaker 12: You know, do you see this as it is a
- 1:20:46Speaker 12: proper proper call nonproper call? So we'll get feedback later
- 1:20:50Speaker 12: on this week on you know, a couple of calls
- 1:20:53Speaker 12: that we sent in just to get you know, evaluated
- 1:20:55Speaker 12: and get better explanation for for us.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I had a question about the more Obviously he transferred
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: from UCLA a couple of years ago. He sits behind
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Dylan Gabriel. But you've been able to go from bow
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: Knicks to Dylan Gabriel to now that Dante Moore who's
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: sitting at what plus six fifty in the Heisman race
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: right now? Like, how do you get a guy like
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: that to stay and be like, hey, you need to
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: be patient with the way the whole transfer portal works now.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Like a guy like him, if he's sitting behind I'm
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: sure he think, thinks to himself, I can go anywhere
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: else and play right now, Like what are those conversations
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: look like when you're sitting there in the start of
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: fall last year and're like just relax, like you're gonna
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: have your time but not yet.
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: Yeah, you know, honestly, Dante, like he handled you. You're
- 1:21:38Speaker 12: what it starts with is to be honest. And I
- 1:21:40Speaker 12: think what happened for Dante when he left UCLA is
- 1:21:43Speaker 12: he looked around college football and you realize all these
- 1:21:46Speaker 12: guys that are getting opportunities to go to the NFL.
- 1:21:48Speaker 12: Very few of them were freshman sophomore quarterbacks. You know,
- 1:21:51Speaker 12: the majority of them where like Jayden Daniels was playing
- 1:21:54Speaker 12: in his fifth year, like bow Knicks is playing in
- 1:21:56Speaker 12: his sixth year, like Michael Pennix, Like these guys have
- 1:21:59Speaker 12: been and maximizing their career and the key was how
- 1:22:02Speaker 12: they played when they left. Like so for him, I
- 1:22:04Speaker 12: think he realized it's not about how fast I play,
- 1:22:06Speaker 12: It's about how I play when I get on the field,
- 1:22:09Speaker 12: and had an unbelieving maturity. If I think he felt like, Hey,
- 1:22:11Speaker 12: this is the place I want to be. I want
- 1:22:13Speaker 12: to go learn. I see what this offense is doing.
- 1:22:15Speaker 12: I see how they developed guys. That's something I want
- 1:22:17Speaker 12: to be a part of it. If it means I'm
- 1:22:18Speaker 12: on the field this year, great. If it means I
- 1:22:20Speaker 12: get to learn from a veteran even better, And what
- 1:22:22Speaker 12: he was able to learn from Dylan Gabriel, he'll be
- 1:22:25Speaker 12: the first one to tell you, like man, that was
- 1:22:26Speaker 12: an unbelievable experience for him and it made him, you know,
- 1:22:29Speaker 12: play the way he's playing now.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: If I could go back, just on the targeting call,
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: there's a couple of ideas, there's a couple ideas floating
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: out there, but I would love to have your opinion.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: If you could do anything with that rule, what would
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: you like to see done differently?
- 1:22:45Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like they all do a great job up there.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I have an answer.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: So there's a there's a cool idea of floating around
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: that somebody had in my comments section, I want to
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: say last week. But you kind of treat it like
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: the end where there's like a flagrant flagrant one flagrant too.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: It's like, okay, it might be a fifteen yard penalty,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: but to kick a kid out of the game, like
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: you would have to be pretty egregious to kick him
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: out of the game to where you see kind of
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: like a tier one level and a tier two level.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: Thoughts on that idea, Coach Lanning, Yeah, sounds great.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Let's talk about to Korey and Moore real quick. Former
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: five star. You also got another kid, Jordan Davis five star.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: How are you getting all these damn five stars? Like
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: up in the Northwest, Like I've traveled to Oregon. It
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: takes you know, planes, trains and automobiles just to get
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: over there, and you're getting these kids five stars from
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: all over the country.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: How do you do it?
- 1:23:38Speaker 12: Dan?
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: And what can I tell to Sharon Moore that he
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: can do.
- 1:23:43Speaker 12: Best versus most convenient, right, Like you can go to
- 1:23:45Speaker 12: the most convenient place, and that doesn't mean you're going
- 1:23:47Speaker 12: to the best. You know, I think we have one
- 1:23:48Speaker 12: of the best plays. Like our coaching staffs really dynamic,
- 1:23:50Speaker 12: Our players want to play with great players. And again,
- 1:23:53Speaker 12: like when you first get here, you talk about a vision, right,
- 1:23:56Speaker 12: and now you're able to say, like, okay, proofs in
- 1:23:58Speaker 12: the pudding. Right, look at what these as have done
- 1:24:00Speaker 12: when they've come here, in the success they've created. And
- 1:24:02Speaker 12: I think we get a bunch of guys that realize
- 1:24:04Speaker 12: the most you're ever going to grow in your life
- 1:24:05Speaker 12: is when you go to college and someday, like you
- 1:24:07Speaker 12: guys experienced it, when the Arizona Cardinals call, guess what
- 1:24:09Speaker 12: you moved to Arizona, doesn't matter where it's at. When
- 1:24:11Speaker 12: the Seattle Seahawks call you moved to Seattle, it's the same.
- 1:24:14Speaker 12: Like you get that same opportunity in college, go pick
- 1:24:16Speaker 12: the place where you're gonna develop and get to be
- 1:24:17Speaker 12: the best version of you. And obviously we get to
- 1:24:19Speaker 12: be we're competitive in getting these guys, but you recruit
- 1:24:24Speaker 12: your tail off, you wake them up, you put them
- 1:24:26Speaker 12: to bed, right, and text messages and phone calls you
- 1:24:28Speaker 12: build relationships, and I think that's really paid off for
- 1:24:31Speaker 12: us here.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Sticking on decoryan more, at what point in the fall
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: did you realize, Oh, this kid's special.
- 1:24:38Speaker 12: I think we recognized it in the spring when we
- 1:24:41Speaker 12: when he first got here in the spring. You know what,
- 1:24:44Speaker 12: what Decorean has grown up so much from as you know,
- 1:24:48Speaker 12: he was a perfectionist and everything went so good for him, right,
- 1:24:52Speaker 12: uh in high school? And now you get somewhere and
- 1:24:54Speaker 12: you're you're playing some dogs, you're playing some real players too,
- 1:24:56Speaker 12: And I think what he had to realize is like, hey,
- 1:24:57Speaker 12: there's gonna be good and there's gonna be bad in
- 1:24:59Speaker 12: every game. Right, how do I respond to that? That's
- 1:25:02Speaker 12: gonna be the biggest tell about me? And he's responded
- 1:25:04Speaker 12: really well. I mean you remember early in that game,
- 1:25:06Speaker 12: he had a slant that came his way, got bottled
- 1:25:08Speaker 12: and they ended up coming down. It could have easily
- 1:25:10Speaker 12: turned into an interception, ye, right. And then later on
- 1:25:13Speaker 12: he has a huge, a huge conversion on fourth and
- 1:25:16Speaker 12: three where it turned into you know, it wasn't it
- 1:25:18Speaker 12: didn't go as scripted, right, He's trying to run a route.
- 1:25:21Speaker 12: The guy wires him and he and he turns into
- 1:25:22Speaker 12: scramble drill DOCTA hits him and stride down the sideline.
- 1:25:25Speaker 12: Huge conversion for us. But I think he's just been
- 1:25:28Speaker 12: able to adapt in those moments where like, Okay, if
- 1:25:30Speaker 12: if Plan A doesn't work, let me go to Plan
- 1:25:32Speaker 12: B and let me execute it. And he did a
- 1:25:34Speaker 12: really good job of that in that game.
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: Uh, Coach Lane, we're talking about some of the best
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: schools you can go to in the country. Also a
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: couple of schools that people are talking about the Big
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: Ten Championship, the Huskers and the Oregon Ducks. Who else
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: do you see popping off to you out there in
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: the Big Ten Conference aside from those two schools.
- 1:25:48Speaker 12: Indiana that's what we play next. Yeah, Indiana, they're playing
- 1:25:51Speaker 12: really good ball.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: Oh dude, I've heard heard. I've heard Signette. He's talking
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: a lot of shit. I don't know exactly yet.
- 1:25:57Speaker 12: You're saying I'm sleeping on my tummy.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: Yeah, without two hands, without hands closing on the fridge.
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: Yeah with that ham come on, Yeah, saying oop.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: That's for them. Yeah, okay, Yeah, but you brought up
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: some comments that allegedly, James Franklin just said, do you
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: do you when you hear that James Franklin may or
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: may not be saying those things about you, do you
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: take that personal? Missouri?
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: Boy.
- 1:26:25Speaker 12: What's weird about it is like immediately when when those
- 1:26:28Speaker 12: comments come out, how I get a text message from
- 1:26:30Speaker 12: Will saying that don't read this. Whatever you do, don't
- 1:26:34Speaker 12: don't don't look at what was said. And yeah, obviously
- 1:26:38Speaker 12: I immediately laugh.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: Yeah, last week, last week I sent him the clip
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: and I said, please tell your PR team to not
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: let you see this clip.
- 1:26:48Speaker 12: Direct messages to me, and please please make sure they
- 1:26:52Speaker 12: know you shouldn't watch this clip.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: You get your piss hot though, knowing James is talking like.
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: That, huh man.
- 1:26:58Speaker 12: He's a great coach, and that the part that is rough,
- 1:27:02Speaker 12: you know, is you walking. You guys saw it like
- 1:27:04Speaker 12: I saw it at the end of that game, that
- 1:27:06Speaker 12: either team could have won that game, right, You're like
- 1:27:09Speaker 12: this far away from it going either way. And he
- 1:27:11Speaker 12: has an unbelievable team. He like coaching him really well.
- 1:27:14Speaker 12: We had some success obviously in the third quarter, and
- 1:27:16Speaker 12: then the fourth they make this unbelievable comeback and you know,
- 1:27:21Speaker 12: for me. You set your john and you say, hey,
- 1:27:22Speaker 12: regardless of what happens, our guys, they were just in
- 1:27:25Speaker 12: a battle. They were in a war, regardless of what happens.
- 1:27:28Speaker 12: Unbelievable game and somebody comes out on the other end
- 1:27:31Speaker 12: of that, And you know, I hurt for their locker
- 1:27:34Speaker 12: room and the work that they put in, because I
- 1:27:35Speaker 12: promise you they worked really hard to you know, for
- 1:27:37Speaker 12: that to play out. So I'm grateful that we got
- 1:27:39Speaker 12: to be on the right end of it when it's
- 1:27:40Speaker 12: all said and done, But you have to acknowledge how
- 1:27:42Speaker 12: close it really was at the end.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: What else do we got.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of a way to ask a
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: question about James Franklin being four and twenty versus top
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: ten teams, but in a respectful way, because you're right,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: like they are a great coach team and they have
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: a lot of talent there. But that is a glaring
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: stat that kind of just it's in front of us
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: all when we look at Penn State. Is there like,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: is there anything It is a kind of a shitty question,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: but like, what is not happening on Penn State side
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: that they might need to fix? Is there something that
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: is easily fixable there.
- 1:28:14Speaker 12: I can't speak to that. I can speak to James
- 1:28:17Speaker 12: Franklin as an unbelievable coach and anybody that can't be
- 1:28:20Speaker 12: excited about, you know, being a fan of theirs and
- 1:28:22Speaker 12: excited about the games that he's won and what he's
- 1:28:24Speaker 12: done for that program. That program is an unbelievable shape.
- 1:28:27Speaker 12: They've got a really good team and the season's not over.
- 1:28:30Speaker 12: Like that team's gonna win a lot of ball games.
- 1:28:32Speaker 12: They're gonna have a lot of success. And you saw
- 1:28:34Speaker 12: the run they went on last year, like they played
- 1:28:36Speaker 12: longer than we played right last season and we saw
- 1:28:39Speaker 12: him in the Big Ten championship, but they were able
- 1:28:41Speaker 12: to go on a great playoff run. They've got a
- 1:28:43Speaker 12: great team. Again, he does a great job. I think
- 1:28:45Speaker 12: they've got great coordinators on both sides. They got great players.
- 1:28:48Speaker 12: Those guys played with great effort. It's just you know,
- 1:28:50Speaker 12: it's a it's a you know, small, small, small segment
- 1:28:55Speaker 12: here there that made the difference in that game.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a shitty question, right sure.
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: As a head coach, though, like compartmentalizing, how is it
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: pretty easy to compartmentalize like these shadows that kind of
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: chase you Whether it's a record versus eight people, or
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: a record on the roll road or record against like
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: these rival opponents, Like is that a real thing as
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: a head coach in your mind? And is it easy
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: to compartmentalize or is it you know what I mean?
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: Like are you acknowledging those things like with yourself or
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: with the team or is it? Is it pretty easy
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: to find an analogy or a philosophy to lean on?
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: Or what usually goes through a head coach's mind, like
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: when there are some like glaring things like of a
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: shadow when you're out of school.
- 1:29:35Speaker 12: Well, I mean that exists everywhere, and for me, it'll
- 1:29:39Speaker 12: be until we win the big one, right, That's that's
- 1:29:42Speaker 12: they'll say the same thing about me. And what I
- 1:29:44Speaker 12: think you figure out really quick as a head coach
- 1:29:46Speaker 12: is like who cares? Who cares what anybody else thinks?
- 1:29:48Speaker 12: Like you can't worry about the opinions of others. What
- 1:29:50Speaker 12: you got to ask yourself is did I do? Did
- 1:29:52Speaker 12: I learn every lesson I could have learned in that moment?
- 1:29:55Speaker 12: Did I get better? Did I grow? Did I make
- 1:29:57Speaker 12: sure our team was still growing?
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:29:59Speaker 12: In every moment? And then the rest takes care of
- 1:30:01Speaker 12: yourself it takes It takes some luck to win a game.
- 1:30:03Speaker 12: It takes some the ball's got to bounce the right way,
- 1:30:06Speaker 12: like and if you can't acknowledge that, then you you
- 1:30:08Speaker 12: don't really know football. You haven't been a part of football.
- 1:30:10Speaker 12: But you can, you know, stack as many advantages as
- 1:30:13Speaker 12: possible by the way you work, the way you prep,
- 1:30:15Speaker 12: the way you grow. And like, that's what I was
- 1:30:17Speaker 12: really excited about after this game. I told our staff yesterday, like, man,
- 1:30:21Speaker 12: unbelievable effort by our players, unbelievable job by you as coaches.
- 1:30:25Speaker 12: But did you guys, did you guys see this? Like
- 1:30:27Speaker 12: that's wart, Like we got to get this wart removed
- 1:30:29Speaker 12: right now, Like, did you guys see this? Like, Okay,
- 1:30:31Speaker 12: we got to we got to carry more answers for
- 1:30:33Speaker 12: this in the future. So we were able to learn
- 1:30:35Speaker 12: some really valuable lessons even in a win. So I
- 1:30:38Speaker 12: think that's that's just part of it. And then you
- 1:30:40Speaker 12: stack as many of those lessons as you can, and
- 1:30:42Speaker 12: then you hope you stack enough that it removes the
- 1:30:45Speaker 12: luck and the advantages that that just happened within a game.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: At times, Yeah, there's always amount of criticism that comes
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: to coaches until they prove people wrong. Like I believe
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: you got some criticism playing Washington killing the bores Washington
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Huskies a few years ago for going for it on
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: fourth down quite a bit. You walked into this game
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: and you go for fourth down seven times, you get
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: five of them. Is that something you I mean, it
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: was so clear that anytime it was close enough to
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: go for it, you're you're doing it?
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: Was that?
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Was that something you told your kids before in the
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: pre and pre game, like, hey, if it's if it's
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: fourth and one or two, we're going forward every single time. Here,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: tell the putter, sit down, buddy, we're gonna have a day.
- 1:31:21Speaker 12: Well, I told her, guys, we're gonna be aggressive in
- 1:31:23Speaker 12: this game, and we're gonna walk back to the after
- 1:31:25Speaker 12: the game and say, oh, man, I wish we would
- 1:31:27Speaker 12: have or and there's limited possessions. We had five possessions
- 1:31:30Speaker 12: in the first half, they had four. You know, I
- 1:31:32Speaker 12: think in the second half it was very similar, and
- 1:31:34Speaker 12: they were gonna get one more, one more than us,
- 1:31:38Speaker 12: you know, in the in the second half because they
- 1:31:40Speaker 12: started with the ball in the second half. So we
- 1:31:41Speaker 12: had to be really advantageous, you know, with every possession,
- 1:31:45Speaker 12: and you know, fourth and one, there's a really high
- 1:31:48Speaker 12: conversion rate. Fourth and two is still, you know, very high.
- 1:31:51Speaker 12: It's hard. Like I thought we had them a good
- 1:31:53Speaker 12: answer for them on their fourth downs and they were
- 1:31:55Speaker 12: able to convert. They were three for three for fourth down.
- 1:31:58Speaker 12: So this is a game where you can't just go
- 1:31:59Speaker 12: back after wards like, hey, we did the right thing,
- 1:32:01Speaker 12: we punted and and uh it didn't work out. Like
- 1:32:05Speaker 12: we wanted to make sure that we we left it
- 1:32:07Speaker 12: on the field. And the only way you can score
- 1:32:09Speaker 12: touchdowns at the end of drives is converting, you know,
- 1:32:12Speaker 12: on fourth down you can't. You can't kick a field
- 1:32:13Speaker 12: goal and be in that situation.
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: What's the uh, what's the thought process and conversation, Like
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: you're wanting to be a very aggressive team and then
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: also having that decision whether you're gonna go for two
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: having the ball second in ot compared to you, hey,
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: let's just kick the extra point here and then we'll
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: start going for two whenever over the overtime rules call
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: for it.
- 1:32:33Speaker 12: Yeah, I felt like I wanted to leave it on
- 1:32:34Speaker 12: the field for our players to decide. You know, you
- 1:32:36Speaker 12: have a feel for any game, like and you could
- 1:32:39Speaker 12: you could argue, oh, the momentums going Penn State's way.
- 1:32:41Speaker 12: I think I had a couple of guys come to
- 1:32:42Speaker 12: me and say, hey, coach, you can go for two
- 1:32:43Speaker 12: here and finish it.
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: That's what I was saying too in the stream room.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: I was yelling, I need to, I need to.
- 1:32:48Speaker 12: Yeah, in my mind, it's okay, what's our two point
- 1:32:51Speaker 12: play plan? And then what do we think we'll see
- 1:32:54Speaker 12: from them on defense? And then I'm always asking myself, Okay,
- 1:32:56Speaker 12: what's my percentage chance of we're gonna have success on that?
- 1:32:59Speaker 12: And if you saw that, like later on we run
- 1:33:00Speaker 12: our two point play and they stopped, So I bet
- 1:33:03Speaker 12: you guys then were like, oh, thank god I didn't
- 1:33:06Speaker 12: go for two.
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: I was a great call. Great call not going for
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: the first.
- 1:33:09Speaker 12: Uh you know, ultimately like they they stop our two
- 1:33:12Speaker 12: point conversion in the second overtime. But that's what I'm
- 1:33:14Speaker 12: alway saying about. If I felt like one were scoring
- 1:33:17Speaker 12: on the two point play, then yeah, maybe you do
- 1:33:20Speaker 12: it there. But I didn't. I didn't have that feeling.
- 1:33:22Speaker 12: They were really good defense. They they I didn't know
- 1:33:25Speaker 12: exactly what we would see from them, you know, in
- 1:33:28Speaker 12: that moment, so and I felt like, hey, we're gonna
- 1:33:30Speaker 12: make this extra point, but I wanted to leave it
- 1:33:32Speaker 12: in our players' hands, and I wanted to give our
- 1:33:34Speaker 12: defensive coaches an opportunity to have an answer. Uh. I
- 1:33:36Speaker 12: felt like we had good answers on offense and at
- 1:33:38Speaker 12: that point at the at the at the end of game,
- 1:33:40Speaker 12: I thought both defenses were struggling to figure it out.
- 1:33:43Speaker 12: But I wanted to leave it in our players' hands
- 1:33:45Speaker 12: and say, let's go to the second o t We
- 1:33:46Speaker 12: knew we were gonna be moving away from their crowd
- 1:33:48Speaker 12: on the second overtime, like not their crowd. They still
- 1:33:50Speaker 12: had a big crowd, but we're gonna be moving away
- 1:33:52Speaker 12: from their student section wasn't gonna be quite as loud.
- 1:33:54Speaker 12: That's the side of the field that I'm much rather
- 1:33:56Speaker 12: have gone for two on rather than the side with
- 1:33:58Speaker 12: their with their students, you know, down there. So there
- 1:34:01Speaker 12: was a lot of factors went into that, but we
- 1:34:03Speaker 12: pretty quickly knew we were going to kick the extra
- 1:34:06Speaker 12: point when when that's all you need to tie the
- 1:34:07Speaker 12: game and go to the second old team.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: The amount of awareness so know where the student section
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: is and all the percentages is pretty impressive. Before we
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: ask you the butt like question or anything else we'll
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: have to ask you. I just want to nail down
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: how big of an environment that is at Penn State,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: Like everyone talks about it while we're watching the game.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: It's incredible to see like the sky camp showing the
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: incredible wide out, Like just talk, just give some flowers
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: if you could, the Penn State, the Nitny Lions, and
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: that fan base for how big time that stadium is.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: I can't read that.
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: And uh, the atmosphere you recognize the minute you drive in.
- 1:34:39Speaker 12: You know, I think we're rolling in a bunch of buses.
- 1:34:40Speaker 12: And my wife sent me a picture yesterday. She she's
- 1:34:44Speaker 12: got all these fans flipping her off, you know on
- 1:34:47Speaker 12: the bus hell.
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: Yeah, kicking the bus Like.
- 1:34:49Speaker 12: You don't know what kind of fuel that is for,
- 1:34:52Speaker 12: you know, a visiting team. How fun that is to
- 1:34:54Speaker 12: be a part of. Like as you're going in and
- 1:34:56Speaker 12: people are banging on your bus and you're driving through
- 1:35:00Speaker 12: five minutes of r vs and tailgates, it's super impressive.
- 1:35:03Speaker 12: And uh, they did. They had a great They had
- 1:35:06Speaker 12: a great job. They were engaged the entire time. It
- 1:35:08Speaker 12: was a really elite atmosphere. The entire game. One of
- 1:35:11Speaker 12: the better ones I've been in for sure.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: What are the plans for the bye week kind of
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: time off giving the boys, Like, what are you gonna do?
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: Maybe to check out for a moment of football, kind
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: of get some sanity and some juice in your system somewhere.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: It might be watching Busting with the Boys? Uh yeah,
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: or are the.
- 1:35:27Speaker 12: Pug Bens watch and Bust with the Boys? Had dinner
- 1:35:30Speaker 12: with my family last night. It was awesome at my house.
- 1:35:33Speaker 12: That was pretty cool. So you know, try to get
- 1:35:36Speaker 12: our coaches, you know, home at night to where they
- 1:35:38Speaker 12: can spend some time with their family here. Really Monday
- 1:35:40Speaker 12: through Wednesday, we'll go out on the road recruiting. Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
- 1:35:44Speaker 12: I'm gonna try to watch a couple of games, and
- 1:35:46Speaker 12: then Sunday we're you know, we're right back at it.
- 1:35:48Speaker 12: But uh, our players need the recovery, but we also
- 1:35:51Speaker 12: need to you know, some growth. We need to learn
- 1:35:53Speaker 12: those lessons that we had in that game. So we're
- 1:35:54Speaker 12: gonna really do a hard self scout of ourselves. Evaluate what,
- 1:35:58Speaker 12: you know, what are some of our tens. See his
- 1:36:00Speaker 12: great teams have tendencies. Figure out what we need to
- 1:36:02Speaker 12: uh build off of those tendencies and then evaluate some
- 1:36:05Speaker 12: of these teams that are coming down the wire for
- 1:36:07Speaker 12: us in the future with Indiana and some of the
- 1:36:08Speaker 12: guys coming up of what what are the answers that
- 1:36:11Speaker 12: we need. We'll get some good practices in this week,
- 1:36:14Speaker 12: so all those things will stack up. The biggest thing
- 1:36:16Speaker 12: we get to see my kids a little bit. Probably
- 1:36:18Speaker 12: go to a little league football practice, Yes, sir, at
- 1:36:20Speaker 12: some point I get to watch my I'm gonna I
- 1:36:22Speaker 12: think he has a game this week on Tuesday. I
- 1:36:24Speaker 12: don't normally get to watch my son play little league football,
- 1:36:26Speaker 12: so I'm hoping Titan balls out this week and uh
- 1:36:30Speaker 12: and get to see him in action.
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: Titan looks up in the stands and Dan's just giving
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: the cuts.
- 1:36:34Speaker 12: He was jack man, he was so he was there.
- 1:36:37Speaker 12: He came, him and his Two of my sons didn't come,
- 1:36:39Speaker 12: Kate and that band and Niles. Niles didn't even watch
- 1:36:43Speaker 12: the game. I got home. He uh, no, I didn't
- 1:36:47Speaker 12: watch the game, but ca but Niles went on the
- 1:36:50Speaker 12: or Titan went on the trip with me, so we
- 1:36:52Speaker 12: ride the bus together. Afterwards. He uh, he was sitting
- 1:36:55Speaker 12: with his mom, you know, in the stands, and he
- 1:36:58Speaker 12: he wanted to come down the fields, like come down
- 1:36:59Speaker 12: the field and he had He had a lot of fun. Man,
- 1:37:03Speaker 12: that's a lot of fun to share as a dad,
- 1:37:05Speaker 12: that those moments with your kid when they when they
- 1:37:07Speaker 12: love what you do and you know it makes it
- 1:37:10Speaker 12: pretty special.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: When we were at your spot and during during spring practice,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: your son was writing a three part series to the
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: Minecraft movie because he decided it was not good enough,
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: it did not check the box for him. Can we
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: get an update on how that script is going right now?
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Because I don't know if he's at twelve or thirteen,
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: but the level and.
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: He is looking for investors.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Yeah, because we are Bustingworth the boys is willing to
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: invest in that child. I mean just seeing the legos,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: seeing his setup, how focused he was on it. It's like, dude,
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: this kid is going to be a fortune five hundred
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: cat one day.
- 1:37:45Speaker 12: Yeah. So we talked about last night, like greatest strength
- 1:37:48Speaker 12: is creativity. Greatest weakness. He doesn't finish. He's pocascitator. So
- 1:37:52Speaker 12: like that Minecraft, he wrote like three quarters of the
- 1:37:55Speaker 12: story and I asked him last night He's like, was
- 1:37:57Speaker 12: that over with it? He's like, I haven't finished it yet.
- 1:37:59Speaker 12: He started this. Uh he does these uh stop action movies.
- 1:38:04Speaker 12: He made the most unbelievable stop action movie that stops
- 1:38:07Speaker 12: right in the middle of the movie. I'm like, what
- 1:38:08Speaker 12: what happens? And what happened to? Yeah, so we got
- 1:38:12Speaker 12: to work on my man being a finisher too. He's
- 1:38:14Speaker 12: an unbelievable starter. We got to be able to be
- 1:38:16Speaker 12: a finished. He's the kind of guy that could start
- 1:38:18Speaker 12: a company, Like, is he gonna see it through? Like,
- 1:38:21Speaker 12: if you're gonna make an investment in this guy, we got.
- 1:38:23Speaker 8: To see it.
- 1:38:23Speaker 12: Get him to see it through. So this is a
- 1:38:25Speaker 12: good challenge denials. I'll make sure he sees this clip.
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: He's a visionary, got to be finishers fish, He's a visionary.
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: He's got to surround himself with the right people to
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: get you know, he gets.
- 1:38:35Speaker 12: Somebody can take it from point C to D. He's
- 1:38:37Speaker 12: gonna get A and B started. Yeah, sounds like me
- 1:38:40Speaker 12: writing a paper in college.
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: He sounds like, Uh, do you have any more questions?
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: Do you hit with the bud light?
- 1:38:47Speaker 10: No?
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited about this Indiana matchup. I mean, you
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: got coach of landing all the all the you know,
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: the hits that coach of landing as you got Signetti coaches,
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: Signetti's got a lot of good hits out there. This
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: is this is not only a top ten matchup, but
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: this is top ten matchup on the mic in my opinion.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. And you know Signette's a shit talker, he
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: says in his press coffice is like Google man. Yeah,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: I'm sure he's got a lot to say about Dan Lanning. Ah,
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: he's got a lot to say.
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: He'll come check it out next week on the Locker Room.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: But Dan our bud like question is what is something
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: in Dan Lanning's life that is easy to enjoy and
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: something he will never get tired of? What's something you
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: will never get tired of.
- 1:39:22Speaker 12: You're talking about like in my life where you're talking
- 1:39:24Speaker 12: about football specifically.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: Isn't it all the same?
- 1:39:28Speaker 12: No?
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Okay, let's do let's do one one of each then
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: to call him, make call him be.
- 1:39:33Speaker 12: I love going on a walk with my kids and
- 1:39:35Speaker 12: my wife. We live in a like a really cool
- 1:39:37Speaker 12: neighborhood and like this week we'll get in some night
- 1:39:39Speaker 12: walks like we like we're just gonna go go go
- 1:39:42Speaker 12: on a track. I'll put some music in my h
- 1:39:45Speaker 12: in my pocket, and we'll we'll just kind of talk
- 1:39:48Speaker 12: about life and that that's something you can never take
- 1:39:50Speaker 12: away from me. That's one of my favorite things. In
- 1:39:52Speaker 12: some point, these guys are gonna be eighteen and twenty
- 1:39:54Speaker 12: and they're probably not gonna want to go on walks
- 1:39:56Speaker 12: with their dad and nomore. But it's it's like, my
- 1:39:58Speaker 12: favorite thing in the world to do is to say,
- 1:40:00Speaker 12: let's go hit a night walk. You know, it's a
- 1:40:01Speaker 12: little dark outside, you probably shouldn't be walking, but nine pm,
- 1:40:05Speaker 12: we're just strolling around the neighborhood, you know, enjoying it
- 1:40:08Speaker 12: and catching up with each other.
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: It's funding vision. Like I like my Dan Landing the
- 1:40:13Speaker 3: way he was post game against Penn State and seeing
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: that guy try and check out for a walk, a
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: nice little stroll with his family, right right, That's what
- 1:40:21Speaker 3: I like the picture. Are you able to like? You know,
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: he's probably they're probably walking, you know, he's just.
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: That he said, what about me, I'm bust want too.
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: I closed the door with my hand, not my hip.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: I love it. What about football? Football and something you
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: will never get tired of the answers right in front
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: of it. So easy?
- 1:40:44Speaker 12: Is it winning? Yeah? Whenning whinning you never get tired
- 1:40:50Speaker 12: of winning. Yeah, you never get tired of winning. But
- 1:40:52Speaker 12: just being on the turf, being on the grass, for me,
- 1:40:55Speaker 12: like that's why you sign up for it. Like, I'm
- 1:40:57Speaker 12: excited about this walk through. We're about to go, do
- 1:40:59Speaker 12: you know we got one here and just in a
- 1:41:00Speaker 12: little bit and excited to see these guys learn and
- 1:41:03Speaker 12: like them kind of have those oh yeah, I see
- 1:41:05Speaker 12: that moments, you know, like you.
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: See what we see?
- 1:41:07Speaker 12: All right, let's go attack this like and that growth
- 1:41:10Speaker 12: when you start to see a show up in games.
- 1:41:11Speaker 12: It's it's it's fun.
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:41:13Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: Well tell the boys that. Will and Taylor say, hello,
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: we miss you. We appreciate you. Have a hell of
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: the rest of the season.
- 1:41:19Speaker 12: Man, appreciate you guys. And you guys are killing it.
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: Keep it up, Coach Landy, how are the backers doing?
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: How'd the backers grade? Now? Like, how are my boys
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: doing in that in that linebacker room?
- 1:41:28Speaker 12: They're doing good, man, they're doing good. But they're getting
- 1:41:30Speaker 12: ball production, Will, which is something you got to be,
- 1:41:32Speaker 12: you know, really satisfied with. Like how our ball, the
- 1:41:35Speaker 12: ball is our oxygen. And these guys have been attacking
- 1:41:38Speaker 12: the ball like crazy. Which is which is fun to see.
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: I listen, you know, I'm just a I'm just a
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: Joe now watching film. I'm just watching it live. I
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: don't know what schematics are going on, but there's one
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: play where I'm just I'm screaming it. You see the
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: pulard scrape when they're at like the goal line. It
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: might not have been his job, but I'm putting it
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: on too eight any chance I get, because that's my guy.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and you.
- 1:41:59Speaker 12: Know it's back man. Put the team up back and
- 1:42:02Speaker 12: I know what player're talking about. It wasn't necessarily his
- 1:42:04Speaker 12: only responsibility there, but they had some good stuff, man,
- 1:42:08Speaker 12: some really good answers from Penn State that we got to.
- 1:42:10Speaker 12: We had to come up with good answers for ourselves.
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, just going. Sorry, we got we paused because.
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: Breaking somebody and Dan Lanning's PR team said, he's very
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: jealous of the hats that we're wearing. And don't worry,
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: We've sent you a bunch of these hats, Oregon hats.
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: The boys there will be they'll be with you very soon.
- 1:42:29Speaker 12: I was I was about to throw my bus and
- 1:42:32Speaker 12: hat on that. You guys, you know, hooked me up before,
- 1:42:34Speaker 12: and uh, I was about to wear it in this morning,
- 1:42:37Speaker 12: but I ran out of the house kind of too fast.
- 1:42:40Speaker 12: So I'm looking forward to the gear coming our way
- 1:42:42Speaker 12: and you can trust he'll be rocking it.
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: And also thank you guys too for just working with
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: the boys, like getting to put the logo and stuff.
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: It's really cool you guys. Thank you absolutely.
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:42:53Speaker 12: We take care of who takes care of us. Appreciate
- 1:42:55Speaker 12: you guys.
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: Alright, appreciate you brother, have a good one. Good luck
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: to us this sir.
- 1:43:01Speaker 12: Thank y'all.
