- 0:26Speaker 5: What's up, America. I am Rich Valdez Valdez with ans
- 0:29Speaker 5: at Rich Valdez on all of the social media. Welcome
- 0:32Speaker 5: to the Monday night edition of the program. It's a
- 0:35Speaker 5: thrill and honor, a blessing to be here with you,
- 0:37Speaker 5: live and national. You're liberty loving Latino. I'm me go
- 0:40Speaker 5: eight seven seven Valdez one. It's my thrill to speak
- 0:43Speaker 5: with you as well, So let me know if you
- 0:45Speaker 5: want to give me a call. And I want to
- 0:46Speaker 5: get into a bunch of stuff. A lot of things
- 0:48Speaker 5: happened over the weekend. Right one of the first things
- 0:50Speaker 5: that happened, I think, is the violence everybody's been seeing
- 0:52Speaker 5: coming out of Mexico. We're going to have an interview
- 0:54Speaker 5: with somebody from the news media. You know people like
- 0:57Speaker 5: President Trump says fake news news. Well, I've invited them
- 1:01Speaker 5: many times and they don't come. But we got a bite.
- 1:04Speaker 5: And I'm not saying this guy's fake news. I'm just
- 1:05Speaker 5: saying he's mainstream media guy and he's been covering Mexico
- 1:09Speaker 5: and the cartels and the CIA's operation down there for
- 1:12Speaker 5: about three decades, and he has agreed to join us.
- 1:15Speaker 5: We're gonna talk to him in the next segment, so
- 1:17Speaker 5: stay tuned for that. What I want to get into
- 1:18Speaker 5: right now, a little bit of the Olympics overseas, because
- 1:21Speaker 5: lots of drama coming out of there. Right Number one,
- 1:24Speaker 5: the US hockey team, Team America, Team America beat the Canadians.
- 1:30Speaker 5: I thought it was pretty funny. I should say they
- 1:32Speaker 5: tried to troll us. But our commander and trolling doing
- 1:35Speaker 5: all this, Magnus El Trompito, the forty fifth and forty
- 1:38Speaker 5: seventh President of the United States.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Nope, nobody, nope, believe me, nobody chose better than El Trompeto.
- 1:46Speaker 6: Believe me, biglely, he chose Bigley.
- 1:49Speaker 5: And guess what, Yes, he did troll Bigley. Justin Trudeau
- 1:52Speaker 5: and his funny socks. He tried to troll the United
- 1:54Speaker 5: States saying it's our game, you can't win, blah blah
- 1:58Speaker 5: blah blah blah. And of course President and Trump tweeting
- 2:00Speaker 5: probably the most epic picture ever on his truth social account.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Absolutely classic and I love that. But that opens the
- 2:08Speaker 5: conversation to so many things. There's a lot of heat
- 2:11Speaker 5: coming on a lot of people. There's a few stories here.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I want to talk about the huff Pot thing, and
- 2:14Speaker 5: I want to talk about the invitation of the teams
- 2:18Speaker 5: to the White House, to the drama with Cash Hotel.
- 2:20Speaker 5: So I don't know. Let's see where we start. Team wins.
- 2:24Speaker 5: They do some beautiful stuff. A fallen hockey player, they
- 2:28Speaker 5: bring his family up there. They do the right thing.
- 2:30Speaker 5: I think it's a classic thing to do. Kudos to
- 2:32Speaker 5: them for doing it. But then we get the locker room.
- 2:36Speaker 5: They go in the locker room, they're having a few
- 2:38Speaker 5: cold ones, and guess what, they're joined by another hockey fan,
- 2:43Speaker 5: a player himself, FBI director Cash Pattel. Now Cash Hotel
- 2:47Speaker 5: is in there, he's pounding a brew with them. This
- 2:50Speaker 5: is all on camera. All of a sudden, it's the
- 2:51Speaker 5: worst thing ever. And I'm gonna be honest here I'm
- 2:54Speaker 5: gonna say, had it been someone from the other side, right,
- 2:57Speaker 5: I am a conservative, so had it been a I
- 3:00Speaker 5: would have been like, unbelievable. These people, God, I'm better
- 3:02Speaker 5: to do than go hang out in the locker rooms.
- 3:04Speaker 5: I can't believe them. I might have said that. I
- 3:07Speaker 5: might or might not have. Why because I tend to
- 3:09Speaker 5: like to have a good time too, and I don't
- 3:10Speaker 5: want somebody doing that to me, so I try not
- 3:13Speaker 5: to do that to other people. Right. That's why I think, Hey, listen,
- 3:16Speaker 5: you might catch me one day at a red carpet
- 3:17Speaker 5: at the Oscars or the Grammys or something like that,
- 3:19Speaker 5: and not because I love all of those people, but
- 3:21Speaker 5: because that's a cool party. I know. I know, Q
- 3:25Speaker 5: the hate. I'm gonna get a little hate there, but
- 3:27Speaker 5: it's satanic. But it's this, But it's the degradation of
- 3:30Speaker 5: I understand. I'm sorry. When I go to bars, I
- 3:32Speaker 5: like to drink beer. So when I go to those parties,
- 3:36Speaker 5: I want to have a good time. You hang out
- 3:37Speaker 5: with the cool entertainers. Listen, I'm not that enlightened just yet.
- 3:41Speaker 5: I might have been in the past life, but I'm
- 3:43Speaker 5: not there now. But my point is I might have right,
- 3:45Speaker 5: I might have said, hold on a second, did they
- 3:47Speaker 5: use you know, air Force three or Air Force four
- 3:49Speaker 5: or whatever it is era The FBI director gets to
- 3:52Speaker 5: fly around and as I understand it, he was there
- 3:54Speaker 5: on some other business. And the argument I would make
- 3:56Speaker 5: for it is I would say, the FBI director, is
- 4:01Speaker 5: there a supporting team USA. They don't deserve representation from
- 4:04Speaker 5: the FBI. They flew there on a plane. That's team Morocca. Right.
- 4:09Speaker 5: President Trump offered a military escort to bring him to
- 4:12Speaker 5: the State of the Union, which is tomorrow, by the way,
- 4:14Speaker 5: So stay tuned for my thoughts on that Manyana at night.
- 4:20Speaker 5: But anyway, this viral clip of Cash Bettel drinking a
- 4:23Speaker 5: beer and showing his support and enthusiasm, I don't think
- 4:27Speaker 5: it's a big thing, and I could see why people
- 4:31Speaker 5: are critical of it, But I don't think it's the
- 4:32Speaker 5: end of the world. Right, what was Was there a
- 4:35Speaker 5: national secret that was somehow released or harmed? Now there wasn't,
- 4:39Speaker 5: So I'm letting that one go. Now, where I think
- 4:42Speaker 5: the media, the fake news media, the left within the
- 4:44Speaker 5: media was off their rocker and out of control. Is
- 4:49Speaker 5: in this regard this particular tweet I don't know if
- 4:52Speaker 5: you guys can get this one up for me, but
- 4:55Speaker 5: I'll read it to you off my phone just so
- 4:56Speaker 5: in case the team doesn't get it on screen quick enough.
- 5:01Speaker 5: If waiving the American flag or chanting USA turns you off,
- 5:06Speaker 5: right now, you're not alone. Now that wasn't some random
- 5:12Speaker 5: lefty that doesn't like America tweeting this. This was the
- 5:17Speaker 5: Huffington Post, right, started by Arianna Huffington way back when.
- 5:22Speaker 5: And she's a big media player, and it was her
- 5:25Speaker 5: and Matt Drudge it started, you know this and the
- 5:28Speaker 5: Drudge Report and stuff like that. These are big, major
- 5:32Speaker 5: y two K media players the blogosphere. But anyway, I
- 5:36Speaker 5: think she's since sold it. But my point is stupid
- 5:40Speaker 5: thing to say, and it really shows you the heart
- 5:44Speaker 5: of where the left movement in our country is. Right,
- 5:48Speaker 5: the leftist is a hater, a hater of Mourca Team America.
- 5:53Speaker 5: If the Olympics can't bring us together, right, I mean,
- 5:56Speaker 5: I think there's certain things where Look, I do this
- 5:58Speaker 5: all day. I talk about my opinion, my philosophy, all
- 6:00Speaker 5: sorts of things. But when it comes to the country,
- 6:04Speaker 5: come on, I think we should agree. Now, I'm not
- 6:07Speaker 5: saying you have to be in lockstep with me, not
- 6:10Speaker 5: at all. I don't believe that to be true. I
- 6:12Speaker 5: think what's important here is that you do what you
- 6:16Speaker 5: gotta do. If if you find it absolutely necessary to
- 6:18Speaker 5: hate America every day of the week, then you go
- 6:21Speaker 5: ahead and hate America every day of the week. I'm
- 6:23Speaker 5: not here to stop you, right, I'm gonna say that
- 6:25Speaker 5: you're right, But what I will say is, come on,
- 6:29Speaker 5: I mean, don't you think it's a good idea to
- 6:31Speaker 5: try and band together on one particular issue the Olympics
- 6:35Speaker 5: Team USA. Shouldn't that represent all Americans? Now, some of
- 6:39Speaker 5: these athletes that were in the Olympics, they were saying
- 6:42Speaker 5: things like, just because I'm playing for Team USA doesn't
- 6:46Speaker 5: mean I agree with everything our country does. I think
- 6:48Speaker 5: that goes without saying. But if you feel they need
- 6:50Speaker 5: to say that, go right ahead say what you want
- 6:52Speaker 5: to say. By the way. Consequently, every one of those
- 6:55Speaker 5: athletes that was making those types of critical comments about
- 6:59Speaker 5: you know, being on team but not from the USA,
- 7:02Speaker 5: or you know, I'm on the team, but I don't
- 7:04Speaker 5: represent them, kind of like the old women's soccer team.
- 7:08Speaker 5: They also took an l now who didn't take an
- 7:10Speaker 5: l is the women's hockey team. They won gold and
- 7:14Speaker 5: they were also invited to the State of the Union.
- 7:16Speaker 5: And they said, if you I don't want to go,
- 7:18Speaker 5: all of them, the entire women's soccer team is not
- 7:21Speaker 5: interested in coming to the president's invitation for the State
- 7:26Speaker 5: of the Union. Now again, that's again they're right. It's
- 7:29Speaker 5: not like you go to those things because you think
- 7:33Speaker 5: it's cool, like going to the Oscars or the Grammys
- 7:36Speaker 5: or something like that. No, it's more like an honor, like, hey,
- 7:39Speaker 5: I got to represent my country, and as part of that,
- 7:41Speaker 5: the president of the country I represented as an athlete
- 7:44Speaker 5: invited me to an official function and we're going to
- 7:46Speaker 5: go to pay our respects to our country. Salute hello, Marikrima,
- 7:49Speaker 5: bye bye. That's it. But there won't be any of
- 7:53Speaker 5: that for the girls team. But back to this story.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I was having an ADHD movement this huff Post piece
- 8:01Speaker 5: where they said, again, if waving an American flag or
- 8:04Speaker 5: chanting USA turns you off, right now, you're not alone.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Jimmy's famous seafood from I believe they're from Massachusetts, they tweeted,
- 8:16Speaker 5: go after yourself. This was met to the accolades of
- 8:22Speaker 5: many a lot of people thought that was the right
- 8:24Speaker 5: response and agreed with them and said they're following and
- 8:27Speaker 5: ordering and all that stuff. So shout out to Jimmy's
- 8:29Speaker 5: famous seafood. And again, am I encouraging that type of discourse? Absolutely, yes,
- 8:35Speaker 5: of course I am. I think that this is the
- 8:37Speaker 5: same free speech I was saying the lefties could have.
- 8:39Speaker 5: You could have it too. I mean, do you have
- 8:41Speaker 5: to be vulgar, that's up to you. I prefer not
- 8:43Speaker 5: to be, but listen, I think it's good to stand
- 8:47Speaker 5: up for the country you believe in. Right. My parents
- 8:49Speaker 5: are born in Puerto Rico. I don't know another country.
- 8:52Speaker 5: This is the only country I know. This is a
- 8:54Speaker 5: country where my parents, who were poor, by the way,
- 8:57Speaker 5: who we grew up in poverty, probably enough poverty to
- 9:00Speaker 5: allow us to live in the projects. But because of pride,
- 9:03Speaker 5: we didn't live in the projects. We just lived very poor.
- 9:07Speaker 5: And I can tell you that there was never a
- 9:11Speaker 5: not even a little bit of hating America, not even
- 9:14Speaker 5: a little bit. When I was growing up. We all
- 9:17Speaker 5: loved this country. We loved Hulkogan, we loved America. We
- 9:20Speaker 5: loved Sergeant Slaughter, we loved the World Wrestling Federation before
- 9:23Speaker 5: it was world wrestling entertainment. Right, we just loved being
- 9:27Speaker 5: Americans and what Americans did the Yankees? God, our flag,
- 9:31Speaker 5: our mom right, apple pie, That's what it's all about.
- 9:35Speaker 5: So you can love the country that you're in, the
- 9:39Speaker 5: country that you've come to, even when I'm gonna dare
- 9:42Speaker 5: say that you've assimilated to right, Because my parents didn't
- 9:44Speaker 5: grow up speaking English, but they definitely learned how to.
- 9:49Speaker 5: And my dad's name is Juan, and he could have
- 9:52Speaker 5: had sons named Louise, Jose, Alberto Ricardo, but instead he
- 9:59Speaker 5: got John and Joe and Lewis and Richard because he
- 10:05Speaker 5: felt the anglicized versions of our names were the appropriate
- 10:09Speaker 5: thing to do. His choice. I probably would not have
- 10:12Speaker 5: made that choice, but I would have made the same
- 10:14Speaker 5: choice to make sure that we spoke English and that
- 10:16Speaker 5: we learned how to speak it well, so that we
- 10:18Speaker 5: did the right thing, Because ultimately, I think assimilation doesn't
- 10:22Speaker 5: mean the erasure of your culture. It just means that
- 10:26Speaker 5: you embrace the one that's there. And nobody's saying that
- 10:29Speaker 5: you can't keep yours right. Nobody's saying you can't continue
- 10:32Speaker 5: eating corned beef and cabbage while you're learning how to
- 10:35Speaker 5: eat McDonald's right. It's just not a thing. I grew
- 10:38Speaker 5: up eating rice and beans and McDonald's right. That's how
- 10:41Speaker 5: that works. So I say all of that to say,
- 10:44Speaker 5: in a very roundabout way, none of these things are
- 10:48Speaker 5: as simple as people try to make them out to be.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:52Speaker 5: If these athletes want to hate on America, go right ahead.
- 10:54Speaker 5: If the huff Post wants to hate on America, go
- 10:56Speaker 5: right ahead. But don't be fooled and don't get it twisted.
- 11:00Speaker 5: America has every right to fire back. America has every
- 11:04Speaker 5: right to say, Hey, we don't want to be hated upon.
- 11:08Speaker 5: We don't like what you're saying, we don't like what
- 11:09Speaker 5: you're doing, and we're not messing with you anymore anyway.
- 11:13Speaker 5: I'm gonna put a pin in that, and I'll leave
- 11:15Speaker 5: you with the words of Jack Hughes. Jack Hughes, who
- 11:19Speaker 5: is the the hockey player who took the winning shot
- 11:25Speaker 5: in the game that won us the gold, had some
- 11:28Speaker 5: great things to say about being American as he was
- 11:32Speaker 5: sucking back the blood from losing his teeth. Amazing watched this.
- 11:37Speaker 5: This is all about our country right now.
- 11:39Speaker 7: I love the USA, I love my teammates.
- 11:42Speaker 5: It's unbelievable. The US or Hockey brotherhood is so strong.
- 11:47Speaker 3: And we have so much to court for next players.
- 11:50Speaker 7: I'm so proud of the Americans grow.
- 11:53Speaker 5: This was such an incredible game to grind out. I
- 11:56Speaker 5: mean you're bleeding right through it just looking at you
- 11:58Speaker 5: right now.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Can you just talk about how difficult this gold medal
- 12:01Speaker 8: was to win.
- 12:02Speaker 7: Unbelievable game by Hellibuck, he was our best player tonight
- 12:06Speaker 7: by mile. Unbelievable game, unreal game by our team. That's
- 12:10Speaker 7: just a ballsy, gutsy win. That's American hockey right there.
- 12:14Speaker 7: That's a great Canadian team. But we're USA.
- 12:17Speaker 5: We're so proud to be Americans.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Tonighter's all for the country.
- 12:20Speaker 5: What does this gold medal mean to USA Hockey? It's everything.
- 12:23Speaker 7: Like I said, the USA Hockey brotherhood means so much.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Look at these guys where it's such a team. We've
- 12:29Speaker 7: been to the Iver for two weeks. We're such a team.
- 12:32Speaker 7: The USA Hockey brotherhood is so strong, and we're so
- 12:35Speaker 7: proud to win.
- 12:35Speaker 3: For our country.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Jack Hughes is a Patriot. Kudos to him and the
- 12:39Speaker 5: entire team and all the Americans, even the ones that
- 12:42Speaker 5: were criticizing America, all the Americans that won in the Olympics.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I salute you. Now I want to get into this
- 12:49Speaker 5: stuff that's going on in Magel because these cartels are
- 12:52Speaker 5: at war with the government. A lot of things went
- 12:55Speaker 5: down here. It seems to me the Cartel Nueva Hennaedasiung. Right,
- 13:02Speaker 5: what do they call CJNG. I think that's the acronym
- 13:05Speaker 5: they go by. They they got done in. Elmentcho supported
- 13:11Speaker 5: that he was killed. I talked to some of my
- 13:13Speaker 5: friends that are former military, high ranking people, and they say,
- 13:16Speaker 5: we don't think he's dead. You think he's in US custody.
- 13:19Speaker 5: And why do we think that, Well, maybe because there's
- 13:22Speaker 5: one hundred of his friends are in US custody too.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Now there's a piece in the New York Post came
- 13:27Speaker 5: out just a few hours ago. Let's see if you
- 13:31Speaker 5: can put a screen grab of this up on screen. Please.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Trump quietly got Mexico to hand over one hundred cartel leaders,
- 13:39Speaker 5: including Elmencho's brother, before the Holy School raid. Now again
- 13:43Speaker 5: they bring you up to speed on this stuff. Elmencho
- 13:47Speaker 5: is the guy that's the head of the CJNNG cartel.
- 13:52Speaker 5: He is captured by US intelligence, they tell the Mexicans
- 13:56Speaker 5: in a joint effort that they're on. They say, hey,
- 13:59Speaker 5: we've got this guy, we know where he is, go
- 14:00Speaker 5: get him. So therefore the Mexicans say, let's go get him,
- 14:05Speaker 5: and they do. They go. When they get them, apparently
- 14:08Speaker 5: he's killed. That's the official report. Now some people are
- 14:12Speaker 5: saying it wasn't supposed to be that way. They were
- 14:14Speaker 5: supposed to capture him, not kill him. But it's because
- 14:17Speaker 5: the government had so many people that were complicit with
- 14:20Speaker 5: these cartels. They had to kill him because the Americans
- 14:23Speaker 5: were involved. They had no choice but to kill him
- 14:26Speaker 5: because he might talk to the Americans. I don't know
- 14:29Speaker 5: any of the details on that, but I do know
- 14:32Speaker 5: it's being officially reported that this guy at Menchell is dead.
- 14:36Speaker 5: It's also being officially reported that one hundred cartel leaders,
- 14:39Speaker 5: including his son, have also been arrested and are in
- 14:43Speaker 5: US custody. Right and again, Mexico's not making a lot
- 14:46Speaker 5: of noise about it, but they've quietly shipped one hundred
- 14:48Speaker 5: suspected cartel drug traffickers to the US to stand trial
- 14:52Speaker 5: after President Trump branded them narco terrorists last year. Let's
- 14:57Speaker 5: see what else is relevant here and just give you
- 14:59Speaker 5: a couple of and I think are pretty important. The
- 15:02Speaker 5: suspects include the brother of Namesio elmentcho O Segua Servantes,
- 15:09Speaker 5: the Brutaljalisco New Generation Cartel CGNJ CJNNG excuse me leader
- 15:15Speaker 5: who was killed by the Mexican Army on Sunday. Justice
- 15:18Speaker 5: Department said many of the ninety two defendants released to
- 15:21Speaker 5: the Americans had US extradition requests that were not honored
- 15:25Speaker 5: during the Biden administration. Now some are also saying that
- 15:29Speaker 5: this whole entire operation took place right now with the
- 15:32Speaker 5: urgency that it did for one reason, a strike that
- 15:38Speaker 5: is coming on Iran, and that this particular group had
- 15:41Speaker 5: some ties to Iran and they were known for working
- 15:44Speaker 5: with Iran, whether it's in the area of smuggling Iranians
- 15:47Speaker 5: terror cells things like that into the country or related.
- 15:52Speaker 5: And if that is in fact the case, then smart
- 15:55Speaker 5: moved by Eddrampito and the team, they say, those are
- 15:58Speaker 5: the assets they have close to the US. Let's take
- 16:01Speaker 5: them out right now this way when we do what
- 16:04Speaker 5: wherever we're gonna do, which I would suspect is to
- 16:07Speaker 5: take out the Aatola one way or another or the
- 16:09Speaker 5: Malas or some form of the leadership in Iran. Their
- 16:16Speaker 5: next move is going to be a cyber attack. Their
- 16:17Speaker 5: next move is going to be to activate whatever cells
- 16:20Speaker 5: they have on the ground.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Here.
- 16:22Speaker 5: These guys would be the guys that facilitate those things.
- 16:26Speaker 5: And there's been videos all week and long about these
- 16:31Speaker 5: army groups. Right, they look like, let me see if
- 16:34Speaker 5: we can, if you can put one up on the
- 16:36Speaker 5: screen for me right here. So you got these guys
- 16:39Speaker 5: that are basically mercenaries, right, these guys are hired guns.
- 16:43Speaker 5: For the most part, they are not necessarily the Mexican military,
- 16:48Speaker 5: nor do they exclusively work for the cartels. Some reports
- 16:52Speaker 5: are saying these guys are trained by foreign intelligence, not
- 16:55Speaker 5: expressly for the purpose of doing what they do in
- 16:58Speaker 5: this context, right, but similar to it during the Ukraine
- 17:01Speaker 5: War they had the Wagner group and other groups. There
- 17:04Speaker 5: are these groups of people that they are hired guns.
- 17:07Speaker 5: They go to the highest bidder. Now, what happens with
- 17:09Speaker 5: some of these cartel groups is sometimes they if they
- 17:13Speaker 5: represent one faction, they won't represent another warring faction because
- 17:18Speaker 5: turf and you know, they're exclusive in that sense. But
- 17:21Speaker 5: for the most part, whoever's paying is getting a hired gun.
- 17:24Speaker 5: And that's why they're so well equipped. And they look
- 17:26Speaker 5: like they represent some sort of nation state, and people
- 17:29Speaker 5: are like, oh my gosh, these cartel soldiers are so
- 17:31Speaker 5: well equipped. Yeah, they likely are. I mean, they make
- 17:35Speaker 5: more money than everybody else, and they have the access
- 17:39Speaker 5: to get in and out of the United States. Remember
- 17:42Speaker 5: a couple of years back, it was none other than
- 17:44Speaker 5: President Barack Obama. Right, what was that called fast and Furious?
- 17:47Speaker 5: I remember that, Like yesterday, who were they arming cartels?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Right?
- 17:52Speaker 5: So we were sending us guns down south of the border.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Why likely for guys like this for whatever reason, because
- 17:59Speaker 5: the CIA will go ahead and put weapons in the
- 18:03Speaker 5: hands of those people that even if they don't like them,
- 18:06Speaker 5: because they don't like somebody else. It's the Machiavellian concept
- 18:09Speaker 5: of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So
- 18:12Speaker 5: this is what happens. So ultimately, now here we are,
- 18:15Speaker 5: these guys are acting up, They're setting things on fire,
- 18:17Speaker 5: all sorts of things are happening. This report that you're
- 18:21Speaker 5: about to see kind of sums it all up. And
- 18:23Speaker 5: then we're going to jump right into our guests. We've
- 18:26Speaker 5: got bill excuse me, what's that? Okay, thank you, Sorry
- 18:33Speaker 5: about that. But we have the author of the Great Pretense,
- 18:37Speaker 5: A Tour through the boneyard of the CIA War four Drugs.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Bill Conway joins us. And this is gonna be an
- 18:48Speaker 5: interesting interview because I don't know that I agree on
- 18:50Speaker 5: everything with Bill Conroy. But that's not why we invite
- 18:53Speaker 5: him on. We invited him on because he's been down
- 18:55Speaker 5: at the border and has his own views and understandings
- 18:57Speaker 5: of what's going on. And he says the approach that
- 19:00Speaker 5: the last five administrations in the United States have taken
- 19:02Speaker 5: against the cartels have only allowed them to get stronger.
- 19:06Speaker 5: So he's going to make his case about his book
- 19:08Speaker 5: and how the one thing I know that we do
- 19:10Speaker 5: agree on, the CIA is usually at the crux of
- 19:14Speaker 5: all this, Right, So we think that this is all
- 19:16Speaker 5: about drugs or about terrorism, about this, or about that,
- 19:18Speaker 5: A lot of times it's just the CIA doing what
- 19:20Speaker 5: the CIA does, whether it's to destabilize the nation, to
- 19:23Speaker 5: influence a certain nation, to keep certain things under control.
- 19:26Speaker 5: So we're going to get into all of that and
- 19:28Speaker 5: so much more. Straight ahead, keep it locked right here.
- 19:30Speaker 5: I'm rich Aldez.
- 19:32Speaker 1: This is America, this is America.
- 19:38Speaker 8: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 19:42Speaker 8: to speak with rich Valdez.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Oh, very good.
- 19:49Speaker 5: The honor is all yours. Conservative talk with a dash
- 19:54Speaker 5: of sofrito.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 20:00Speaker 8: Explosions erupting across Puerto Wayata tonight, black smoke seen rising
- 20:04Speaker 8: over the resort city on Mexico's Pacific coast. Mexico's military
- 20:10Speaker 8: forces launching a daring operation to capture cartel leader Reuben
- 20:14Speaker 8: n known as Elmentcho. Multiple cars on fire in the streets.
- 20:19Speaker 8: Mexican officials say during their operation, military personnel were attacked.
- 20:24Speaker 8: Several cartel members were killed, including Elmentcho, the head of
- 20:28Speaker 8: the New Generation Halisco cartel, who died while airlifted to
- 20:32Speaker 8: a hospital in Mexico City. Mexican authorities say the United
- 20:36Speaker 8: States provided complementary information for their operation, a US Defense
- 20:40Speaker 8: official telling ABC News Northcom provided information for the raid.
- 20:46Speaker 8: The violence forcing the Puerto Yeta Airport to suspend all flights,
- 20:50Speaker 8: this stranding many US citizens trying to get home. Border
- 20:54Speaker 8: cities like the Juana are now reporting criminal activity, and
- 20:57Speaker 8: the State Department is telling US citizens and impacted areas
- 21:00Speaker 8: in Mexico to shelter in place.
- 21:03Speaker 5: All right, America, welcome back, which Valdez has promised.
- 21:06Speaker 4: We've got a journalist who's got a lot of experience
- 21:10Speaker 4: in this. He's written a number of books, and whether
- 21:12Speaker 4: you think his opinion is popular or not, you're about
- 21:14Speaker 4: to find out what he thinks about this stuff.
- 21:16Speaker 5: With else fight. Now, we've got Bill Convoy.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Bill Conways spent several decades on this topic. He's the
- 21:21Speaker 4: author of a number of books, not to mention the latest,
- 21:24Speaker 4: The Great Pretense.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Bill Conway, welcome.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Glad to be here. Thanks for apps for having Eric.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you. I appreciate you being here because I
- 21:31Speaker 4: find this a very interesting thing. There is a war
- 21:35Speaker 4: apparently going on in Mexico, at least a bunch of skirmishes.
- 21:39Speaker 4: And what's interesting about this to me is that Number one,
- 21:43Speaker 4: what's interesting is that the cartels are getting some pressed.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I feel like the cartels never get pressed. They always
- 21:48Speaker 4: blame this, always blame that. They never blamed the cartels
- 21:51Speaker 4: for what's going on. So that's number one.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Number two, what's interesting here is what's actually happening.
- 21:55Speaker 4: People have seen the videos of people coming out of
- 21:58Speaker 4: armored personnel vehicle wearing military fatigues, and all of them
- 22:02Speaker 4: saying these are not the army, this is not the FEDS,
- 22:07Speaker 4: these are the cartels. So I'm curious to know your
- 22:10Speaker 4: thoughts bring us up to speed on what's going on
- 22:12Speaker 4: in put To Bayata and in the Kancun airport where
- 22:14Speaker 4: people were taking shelter, the United States telling Americans to
- 22:17Speaker 4: take shelter, take it away.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Bill. Yeah, Well, first of all, there's the reporting on
- 22:22Speaker 3: it and the headlines, and then there's the situation and
- 22:25Speaker 3: reality on the ground. And I was able to talk
- 22:29Speaker 3: to people there this morning. And also I've covered this,
- 22:32Speaker 3: I've seen this act before. We have a kingpin strategy
- 22:37Speaker 3: that has never worked. And every time we do something
- 22:40Speaker 3: like this, the same thing happens, and then we forget,
- 22:44Speaker 3: and then we do it again and again. And I
- 22:45Speaker 3: guess it's because they feel like they're doing something but
- 22:49Speaker 3: it's not effective. And I'll tell you why. First, I
- 22:52Speaker 3: can name a dozen cartel leaders. You know, there's like
- 22:56Speaker 3: a half a dozen major cartels in Mexico, so cartel
- 22:59Speaker 3: is really the wrong word. They're organized crime group syndicates
- 23:02Speaker 3: and they're structured completely different than anything in the Middle
- 23:05Speaker 3: out East, we dealt with anywhere in the States that
- 23:08Speaker 3: we deal with. Their their they are command groups that
- 23:10Speaker 3: control plazas right or ports where the drugs come in
- 23:14Speaker 3: and out, and they demand tribute of anyone doing business
- 23:18Speaker 3: through those plazas. And that's really the cartel's big role.
- 23:21Speaker 3: And they have obviously big security forces and then underneath
- 23:25Speaker 3: them and a lot of what you're seeing are pairamilitaries
- 23:28Speaker 3: and mules and just thousands of people that work in
- 23:31Speaker 3: the business, and some of them work you know, mostly
- 23:35Speaker 3: they have to work exclusively for one cartel when they
- 23:37Speaker 3: when they're called up, but otherwise they could freelance, right,
- 23:41Speaker 3: so they could be kidnapping people on their own, and
- 23:44Speaker 3: then when the cartel needs them to do something, they will.
- 23:46Speaker 3: They all snap in line. And so trying to take
- 23:49Speaker 3: the head off that snake is very difficult because it's
- 23:52Speaker 3: actually many, many, many, many snakes that are of all
- 23:55Speaker 3: twewn together. You know, you got, you got. You can't
- 23:58Speaker 3: do it that way. It just doesn't work. And every
- 24:00Speaker 3: time we do it because during the Obama administration, this
- 24:04Speaker 3: isn't like which administration that none of them have had
- 24:08Speaker 3: a very good approach on the drug war. In my opinion,
- 24:11Speaker 3: a lot of money, billions of dollars thrown at it,
- 24:14Speaker 3: big budgets, real pressure to make cases and get headlines
- 24:18Speaker 3: and stats to keep the money flow. That's and corruption
- 24:22Speaker 3: on both sides of the border, because you're talking about,
- 24:25Speaker 3: you know, five hundred to trillion dollar business globally. There
- 24:30Speaker 3: is so much money that they can buy people off
- 24:33Speaker 3: easily on both sides of the border, and they do
- 24:36Speaker 3: mostly to get the drugs across on the US side.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I lived on the border, right I know, I covered
- 24:41Speaker 3: cases customs and spector border patrol and higher up you
- 24:45Speaker 3: know that were later you know, busted for you know,
- 24:48Speaker 3: taking bribe from the cartel it loads to it, stuff
- 24:51Speaker 3: like that. That's the that's the normal on the border,
- 24:54Speaker 3: you know. And once you get further away from the border,
- 24:56Speaker 3: you don't see it as much. Just like the ice
- 24:59Speaker 3: opera rations going out on in the city now, cities
- 25:02Speaker 3: now that are violent, that same violence has existed for
- 25:06Speaker 3: years on the border. That's how border patrol operates down there,
- 25:09Speaker 3: because it's it's kind of a different environment, right uh.
- 25:13Speaker 3: And so what you have happening in Mexico right now
- 25:15Speaker 3: is we chopped a head off another cartel just like
- 25:19Speaker 3: we took down al Mile and Choppa Guzman. The Cineloa cartel,
- 25:24Speaker 3: which is the other major cartel right now, big one
- 25:26Speaker 3: in Mexico that's still around. It's still moving a lot
- 25:30Speaker 3: of drugs into this country, you know. Uh, the new
- 25:32Speaker 3: the one we're attacking now, at least of a new
- 25:34Speaker 3: generation a cartel which sprung up in two thousand and
- 25:38Speaker 3: five after we chopped off the heads of some other cartels.
- 25:41Speaker 5: They formed.
- 25:43Speaker 3: The guy that we took out was you know, a
- 25:46Speaker 3: local cop. A lot of these guys get into the business.
- 25:48Speaker 3: They're cops there, they're they you know, or military. Not all,
- 25:53Speaker 3: but a number of them end up coming from that
- 25:55Speaker 3: background in Mexico. So the corruption is infiltrated into to
- 26:00Speaker 3: the all aspects of the Mexican business and law enforcement
- 26:05Speaker 3: and military. But that doesn't mean the whole government's corrupt anymore.
- 26:09Speaker 3: It means our whole government's corrupt because you have corrupt
- 26:11Speaker 3: actors within it doing things that are wrong. It just
- 26:15Speaker 3: means we have a problem, you know, Houston, and you
- 26:18Speaker 3: got to start thinking about this thing more holistically if
- 26:20Speaker 3: you want to solve it. So the violence that we're
- 26:22Speaker 3: seeing in Alisco that made headlines, you know recently, like
- 26:26Speaker 3: yesterday today, it's already dying down. Parts of Mexico have
- 26:29Speaker 3: already died down. And that happens every time that these
- 26:32Speaker 3: are more. No one was killed in violence. There's probably
- 26:35Speaker 3: be some that we hear about later, but it was
- 26:37Speaker 3: burning cars. It was like, you know, yeah, burning grocery
- 26:40Speaker 3: stores or convenience stores and jamming roads with these flaming
- 26:46Speaker 3: cars is more like a riot. Right. These people are upset,
- 26:49Speaker 3: they know that. Especially in Guanalajara. The guy they took
- 26:54Speaker 3: out they liked because he uses a lot of money.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Talking about right elmnha, Yes he would.
- 27:00Speaker 3: He was like Escabar did the same thing. They have
- 27:03Speaker 3: a lot of money and they you know, they dole
- 27:05Speaker 3: it out in the community and the community starts to
- 27:07Speaker 3: like them, love them whatever. They don't necessarily think about
- 27:10Speaker 3: the violence. And you remember in Mexico there's since two
- 27:13Speaker 3: thousand and six, there's at least a couple hundred thousand
- 27:16Speaker 3: people murdered murdered directly related to drug well mostly cartel battles.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Were a lot of innocent bystanders that you know, maybe
- 27:23Speaker 3: their cousin was involved, or maybe they were on the
- 27:25Speaker 3: wrong street. Corner and the bullets were flying, because they're
- 27:28Speaker 3: actual shootouts at times. What what we haven't seen so far?
- 27:32Speaker 3: And you mentioned the people coming out of the you know,
- 27:34Speaker 3: like that are dressed in paramilitary outfits. That's very crime.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Amen.
- 27:38Speaker 3: I go to Mexico, I see that. That's like, that's
- 27:41Speaker 3: very co It's not unusual.
- 27:43Speaker 5: These are the guns you're saying.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I've run in the cartel people eating
- 27:48Speaker 3: at restaurants down there in in you know, southn Mexico City.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Everyone knows who they are in the community. Of course,
- 27:55Speaker 3: they're dangerous, of course that's that can be a problem
- 27:58Speaker 3: if you cross them. But most of the time there's
- 28:00Speaker 3: kind of a symbiotic relationship because they throw money into
- 28:03Speaker 3: the community and they stay out of the business of
- 28:07Speaker 3: the cartel for obvious reasons. So it's not like cartels
- 28:11Speaker 3: are just hated in Mexico. They're part of it. They're there,
- 28:14Speaker 3: they lived, they Yeah, it's part of their culture.
- 28:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you know right, not the ethnic culture. Yeah, they're
- 28:20Speaker 5: ready to do business.
- 28:21Speaker 3: I want to ask you gangsters just like the gangsters
- 28:23Speaker 3: were loved, I hate to say it, whatever, they were
- 28:27Speaker 3: admired whatever back in then, Like no in our country.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Yess what I'm saying like the cosonstra the.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Well, yeah, yeah, you're talking about yeah, the Italian mom.
- 28:35Speaker 3: But I'm talking more way back to the component era. Okay, Yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 3: when those guys are running around the country, Robin Banks
- 28:40Speaker 3: and you know, you know, booze is the same as
- 28:43Speaker 3: drugs running. Drugs run booze. They weren't reviled by everybody, right,
- 28:48Speaker 3: many people were back. Yeah, exactly right.
- 28:51Speaker 5: Right, they had a fan club. Well, so what I
- 28:54Speaker 5: want to go with this?
- 28:54Speaker 4: So I saw a clip of the president Claudia schein Maum,
- 28:57Speaker 4: President of Mexico, is that they're saying, absolutely not, You're
- 29:00Speaker 4: not going to get bring a war against narco traffickers.
- 29:04Speaker 4: That's not going to happen. It's unconstitutional. It would deprive
- 29:08Speaker 4: them of any process rights because they're killing people as
- 29:12Speaker 4: if they were enemy combatants.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Is wrong. And I thought to myself, that's the cheapest
- 29:17Speaker 5: rhetoric I've ever heard.
- 29:18Speaker 4: But I happened to be a fan of Trump's idea
- 29:21Speaker 4: of labeling the narco terrorists because to me, that's a
- 29:24Speaker 4: step further than anybody else has done in trying to
- 29:26Speaker 4: combat this. So what do you think of President Shinebaum's
- 29:30Speaker 4: comments that it's on Mexican if you want to go
- 29:33Speaker 4: well the cartels, And.
- 29:34Speaker 3: What she's saying is she doesn't want unilateral US action
- 29:38Speaker 3: like US going in there with drones and troops and
- 29:40Speaker 3: shooting things up. If we're going to do it, it's
- 29:43Speaker 3: got to be cooperative. And so in this case, US
- 29:46Speaker 3: intelligent agencies were providing real time intelligence to locate the guy,
- 29:51Speaker 3: right that's how they found them. And also there's at
- 29:55Speaker 3: least nineteen Navy seals down there were just sent down
- 29:57Speaker 3: there about a week ago. And in the past what
- 30:00Speaker 3: happened is they ebed. I mean, how do you train them,
- 30:02Speaker 3: get in bed with the troops, they go out in
- 30:04Speaker 3: the field. So I fully expect we'll hear more about
- 30:07Speaker 3: that later. That there was probably a good deal of
- 30:10Speaker 3: US support for this operation, but it was in cooperation
- 30:13Speaker 3: with the Mexican government, and that she's willing to do.
- 30:16Speaker 3: But what she doesn't in which most Mexicans know, this
- 30:19Speaker 3: kingpin strategy just creates carnage in their country. It doesn't
- 30:24Speaker 3: work if you don't well, because so many end up
- 30:27Speaker 3: getting killed because there's cartel violence, turf wars. After you
- 30:31Speaker 3: create a power vacuum like that. So it's not an
- 30:34Speaker 3: effective way.
- 30:35Speaker 5: It doesn't effect in your opinion as a journalist.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Sorry, I'll get in that because I wanted to make
- 30:40Speaker 3: one more point about her. What she's saying, here's her situation.
- 30:45Speaker 3: She knows this is the case. She would not be
- 30:48Speaker 3: cooperating with the US other than the fact that the
- 30:51Speaker 3: tariffs are key really socked it to them with tariffs
- 30:54Speaker 3: and hurt the country's revenues. That would hurt all their
- 30:57Speaker 3: social programs and would create even more social and rest
- 31:00Speaker 3: in the country, you know, if the volume of trade
- 31:04Speaker 3: really substantially was affected. So she's in kind of the
- 31:08Speaker 3: spot where this is the lesser too evils, really and
- 31:11Speaker 3: so they're cooperating, right, and then you, as you asked,
- 31:15Speaker 3: you better ask that other question again. That's the point
- 31:17Speaker 3: I wanted to make.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Yeah, sure you've made it these three points so far
- 31:21Speaker 4: as saying that you think going after the chief of
- 31:24Speaker 4: the bad guys is the bad is the wrong way
- 31:26Speaker 4: to do it. Say, are you saying you should go
- 31:28Speaker 4: after the underlings or the tail of the steak rather
- 31:30Speaker 4: than ahead of this name?
- 31:31Speaker 3: No, no, no, What I'm really saying and what we
- 31:34Speaker 3: haven't done we've made you know, done it here and there,
- 31:39Speaker 3: but always you pulled it back. Is go after the money,
- 31:42Speaker 3: because if you take them, that's what this is all about.
- 31:44Speaker 3: This isn't I hate it when people call it terrorism.
- 31:46Speaker 3: It's not terrorism. Terrorism has to have a political objective.
- 31:50Speaker 3: These drunk card tells they don't get it crap about politics.
- 31:54Speaker 3: They care about money and also maintaining their organizations. So
- 31:59Speaker 3: if you dried up the money, if you made it,
- 32:01Speaker 3: you know, like money laundering. This none of this happens
- 32:05Speaker 3: without all the money. All the drugs come north, all
- 32:07Speaker 3: the money goes south, it goes all around now, but
- 32:11Speaker 3: the point is it's laundered to our financial system, to
- 32:13Speaker 3: our banks, and now with crypto, well all the rules
- 32:17Speaker 3: taken off of that. It's a major way to launder money.
- 32:20Speaker 3: So if we were really serious about this, we would
- 32:23Speaker 3: shut the money down. But you know why we wouldn't
- 32:26Speaker 3: we haven't in the past, and I don't think we
- 32:27Speaker 3: will now is it would threaten our financial system and
- 32:31Speaker 3: potentially the stability of some of the governments in Latin
- 32:34Speaker 3: America because this revenue is coursing through the veins of
- 32:38Speaker 3: the global financial system and it ends up in real
- 32:41Speaker 3: estate and cars and whatever. Once it's cleaning, can buy anything,
- 32:45Speaker 3: and they do. They've invested in, you know a lot
- 32:46Speaker 3: of the resorts down there that these guys are staying at,
- 32:48Speaker 3: These Americans are staying at parts of them our own
- 32:52Speaker 3: indirectly through shell companies buy cartel money, okay, and I
- 32:56Speaker 3: guarantee in Miami or you look in our pass, you
- 32:59Speaker 3: go around the country here, you're going to find similar
- 33:02Speaker 3: uh scenarios. And that's they're trying to crack down on
- 33:05Speaker 3: it here by making you reveal the identities of the
- 33:08Speaker 3: players behind these shell companies. But uh, you know, I
- 33:11Speaker 3: think that programs didn't quite get off the ground with
- 33:13Speaker 3: the new administration. I haven't heard much since then. It
- 33:16Speaker 3: was it was something that was just getting put together
- 33:18Speaker 3: Treasury Department. But that would be the one key, right
- 33:22Speaker 3: is go after the money.
- 33:23Speaker 4: So to stop the money. And then you say, if
- 33:24Speaker 4: we stop the money, then the whole world and no.
- 33:27Speaker 3: You dry up. You If I can't make money off
- 33:30Speaker 3: of selling like cocaine because it's getting all my money's
- 33:32Speaker 3: getting seized, then I don't got money to pay anybody.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I don't have money to buy the buy the product.
- 33:40Speaker 4: That is one way, just like we have a bunch
- 33:42Speaker 4: of reasons why it's not happening, because governments would become
- 33:44Speaker 4: unstable and the world would cease to exist.
- 33:47Speaker 5: As we know.
- 33:48Speaker 3: This is what I well, it cease to exist is
- 33:50Speaker 3: strong and we've been you know, we're kind of like ants.
- 33:52Speaker 3: We just rebuild the county. But the point I'm getting
- 33:56Speaker 3: at is this isn't just me saying this. This is
- 33:59Speaker 3: experts I've talked to and people that were involved in
- 34:01Speaker 3: these money laundering operations. They got shut down by the
- 34:03Speaker 3: government because they got too close to the wrong people
- 34:06Speaker 3: like heads of state, right, and they don't That suddenly
- 34:09Speaker 3: becomes CIA territory, and CIA has interest in maintaining you know,
- 34:14Speaker 3: the pre flow of capital in the regular economy in
- 34:17Speaker 3: these countries. I mean, if the Mexican economy collapsed, it
- 34:20Speaker 3: would have a major blowback in our economy. I mean,
- 34:23Speaker 3: even though we think of them as just these little
- 34:25Speaker 3: people in Mexico, they're a major you know, and Latin
- 34:28Speaker 3: American general has a lot of firepower economically when you
- 34:32Speaker 3: look at it, and it will affect us, it will.
- 34:34Speaker 3: We got banks down there, we got car we got
- 34:37Speaker 3: so much stuff across the border in Latin America that
- 34:40Speaker 3: is US owned, even if it's Mexican employees or Colombian
- 34:44Speaker 3: employees or whatever. So that's the point I'm getting at.
- 34:47Speaker 3: It would mess with the financial system because it's getting
- 34:50Speaker 3: laundered through the financial system. When you look at how
- 34:53Speaker 3: many banks have been busted for money laundering US banks
- 34:57Speaker 3: operating in Mexico, you know, it's got to be a
- 34:59Speaker 3: half a dozen, and this is in the last ten years,
- 35:02Speaker 3: maybe more. And what happens is they get a slap
- 35:05Speaker 3: on the wrist, they pay a fine, they agree not
- 35:08Speaker 3: to do it anymore, nobody goes to jail, what and
- 35:11Speaker 3: they actually probably made money on the deal because they
- 35:13Speaker 3: make a lot of money. And it's it's it's individual
- 35:16Speaker 3: players in these banking systems that get bought off, get corrupted.
- 35:19Speaker 3: It's not like the entire boards it's down. Let's launder money. No.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Money laundering is a clandestine act, but it happens all
- 35:25Speaker 3: the time, right, And it's the only way. The only
- 35:27Speaker 3: way that the drug business works is if the money
- 35:31Speaker 3: is laundered, you know, because how do you get if
- 35:33Speaker 3: I'm selling cocaine on the street ten twenty or one
- 35:38Speaker 3: hundred bucks a clip and I got all these bills
- 35:41Speaker 3: that cash has to get into the financial system and
- 35:44Speaker 3: it has to get laundered so it looks legitimate. Otherwise,
- 35:47Speaker 3: what's the point of they're not going to do this
- 35:49Speaker 3: for free. They're not. It isn't a terrorism thing like
- 35:52Speaker 3: they want to, you know, they want to wreck the
- 35:54Speaker 3: US economy.
- 35:55Speaker 5: That's saying it is a terrorism thing. And it becomes
- 35:58Speaker 5: a terrorism thing when when they act like terrorists. And
- 36:00Speaker 5: for the most part, it's not.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Well, you're talking about violence, Yeah, it is a very
- 36:03Speaker 3: I'm not gonna the violence is real, I mean, and
- 36:06Speaker 3: it's it's mostly perpetrated in Mexico. Okay, let's just keep
- 36:09Speaker 3: it to Mexico. Two hundred thousand plus dead there since
- 36:13Speaker 3: two thousand and six from the drug war. Another sixty
- 36:15Speaker 3: thousand disappeared, just nobody knows where they are. That's who
- 36:19Speaker 3: pays the price for the drug war we have. We
- 36:23Speaker 3: don't even track it up here. You know, I did
- 36:25Speaker 3: a story a number of years back trying to figure
- 36:27Speaker 3: out how many deaths were really related to drug crimes
- 36:30Speaker 3: or drug and you know, I had a reconstructive from
- 36:34Speaker 3: FBI data. It's very imperfect, but you know, it's like
- 36:37Speaker 3: you know, it's it's a tiny, tiny fraction of what's
- 36:40Speaker 3: who's dying in Mexico, right, It's just not comparable. And
- 36:44Speaker 3: so that's why the drug war in Mexico has a
- 36:47Speaker 3: different complexion than than us looking down at it. Because
- 36:51Speaker 3: all the demand is here, right, we don't do much.
- 36:54Speaker 3: That's the other thing we need to do is get
- 36:55Speaker 3: serious about addressing addiction and treat some of this as
- 36:59Speaker 3: healthcare prop them so we can get you know, reduce
- 37:01Speaker 3: the demand up here. Because as long as there's demand,
- 37:04Speaker 3: there will be drugs, and it will be people there
- 37:06Speaker 3: to serve those drugs up to make money off it.
- 37:08Speaker 3: That's the game. That's it. It's that simple. And we
- 37:10Speaker 3: put all this dressing on it like it's narco terrorism
- 37:13Speaker 3: and it's this and these are evil like all blackhead
- 37:16Speaker 3: guys like under you know, evil horses and dragons. It's
- 37:19Speaker 3: it's it's fiction, you know, it's what Hollywood sells us.
- 37:23Speaker 9: And then let's be focused to put the spotlight on
- 37:27Speaker 9: the audits so they can focus your attention there.
- 37:30Speaker 3: I think more so, Yeah, there's there's obviously there's programs
- 37:33Speaker 3: out there, but not enough, not many of them, not
- 37:36Speaker 3: well run, and many of them not uh, you know,
- 37:39Speaker 3: the people that need them the most have no money,
- 37:42Speaker 3: so you know, with insurance that kind of thing, right,
- 37:44Speaker 3: So it's it's very hodgepodge in this country. I think
- 37:47Speaker 3: a serious effort with some smart people that understand this,
- 37:51Speaker 3: this issue and and the healthcare implication, the addiction issue,
- 37:55Speaker 3: at least for fetanahl, because fetanoyl is a drug we
- 37:58Speaker 3: want off our streets because it I see it here
- 38:00Speaker 3: in Seattle where I live. You know, the fetanyl slump.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I mean they just stand up and slump over and there.
- 38:08Speaker 3: So it's it's it destroyed. It isn't good. And I
- 38:10Speaker 3: and when you talk to addicts will agree. But the
- 38:12Speaker 3: problem is between fetanah and heroin. Getting off it is
- 38:15Speaker 3: hard once you're addicted. So we yeah, that would help
- 38:19Speaker 3: because less heroin, we buy less money the cartails make.
- 38:24Speaker 3: You know. We saw this with with the legalization of
- 38:26Speaker 3: cannabis and the you know decriminalization anyway, and I you know,
- 38:30Speaker 3: Seattle was one of the it was the second state.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Colorado was first. And now you know half the states
- 38:35Speaker 3: in the Union have medical marijuana or recreational marijuana. And
- 38:39Speaker 3: you notice they're not making big buses of marijuana. It
- 38:41Speaker 3: still happens. There's still black market marijuana because it's a
- 38:45Speaker 3: little cheaper and people will pay want to pay a
- 38:47Speaker 3: little less. It's a lot of riskier to buy. So
- 38:49Speaker 3: you go down to the store. It's highly it's heavily regulated.
- 38:53Speaker 3: The prices are, you know, to be honest with you,
- 38:56Speaker 3: fairly reasonable. And that is a product that there's not
- 39:00Speaker 3: a lot of money in it for the cartels anymore.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Now they can get into the legal market up here,
- 39:06Speaker 3: maybe through through front companies and stuff. But you know,
- 39:09Speaker 3: that's why it's regulated.
- 39:10Speaker 9: There's going to be organization or decolonization of sensia.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Dude, No, that's what I'm saying that there's there's some
- 39:18Speaker 3: that we start with the drugs where we can decriminalize
- 39:21Speaker 3: or legalize and regulate, just like alcohol. Alcohol is far
- 39:25Speaker 3: more dangerous than cannabis. Let's be honest. It kills far
- 39:28Speaker 3: more people every year. Cannabis. What are you gonna Yeah,
- 39:34Speaker 3: But the point is, and we had to say problem
- 39:36Speaker 3: with alcohol during prohibition, This is not unlike dealing with
- 39:39Speaker 3: some of the issues we had. Prohibition. Is a incredible
- 39:41Speaker 3: demand for something and it's got you know, you know,
- 39:44Speaker 3: bad side effects. For the society and for the individual.
- 39:47Speaker 3: So alcohol I think is a bigger problem than than
- 39:51Speaker 3: has bigger problem as any of these other drugs coming
- 39:55Speaker 3: than in terms of sheer numbers. But fenyl, yeah, fenoyls
- 40:00Speaker 3: is a is not a good thing to have floating out.
- 40:03Speaker 3: There's a street drug for all kinds of reasons, and
- 40:06Speaker 3: we do. I'm not saying you don't have any law enforcement,
- 40:08Speaker 3: but I'll be honest with you. You're playing whackam trying to
- 40:11Speaker 3: bust you know, loads of little pills brought by you know,
- 40:15Speaker 3: by individuals by a hundred different ways that get injured,
- 40:19Speaker 3: so you know, so easy to smuggle. So you you've
- 40:21Speaker 3: got to work on, you know, making sure people don't
- 40:24Speaker 3: you can take it.
- 40:25Speaker 5: And also.
- 40:28Speaker 9: If you go after the demand side, right, you have
- 40:32Speaker 9: to supply side, but the demand side, and there because
- 40:38Speaker 9: the demand there's many wolves.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Probably you're saying the demand is what I'm saying.
- 40:46Speaker 9: If I'll take a final clock and I'm saying, oh,
- 40:48Speaker 9: I'm not going to go after Build Conrad for selling drugs.
- 40:50Speaker 9: I'm going to go after Michell blind them. I'm not
- 40:54Speaker 9: any more who all partings are going to go and
- 40:58Speaker 9: say control demand in a country.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Yeah, well no it's not. It's not either or right.
- 41:05Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. We don't have a comprehensive approach
- 41:08Speaker 3: to dealing with this. We have one approach, a hammer,
- 41:12Speaker 3: and then everyone goes, yeah, I hae them, mater. Every
- 41:15Speaker 3: time it gets worse, it gets worse. And we're going
- 41:17Speaker 3: the drug wars fifty years old. Fifty years old.
- 41:21Speaker 9: If you want to go through now there's things that
- 41:23Speaker 9: will end one, then.
- 41:24Speaker 3: No, because I think too many people have an interest
- 41:26Speaker 3: in keeping it going the way it is. It's it's
- 41:29Speaker 3: all budget like to get hot, well, it's all that,
- 41:33Speaker 3: and also huge careers are built on it. Do you think,
- 41:37Speaker 3: dee a, what would happened to DA of all drug traffickings?
- 41:40Speaker 3: Not you think they'd say, well, we're done, We're going
- 41:42Speaker 3: to pack up our bags and quit and retire. They're
- 41:47Speaker 3: going to find another got it? The get slashed, Yeah,
- 41:52Speaker 3: you've got it, you know, So they don't you know, Yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 3: they want to make busts, they want to get headlines
- 41:56Speaker 3: so they can increase their budgets. And there's all this
- 42:00Speaker 3: by selling his hype to the boorters to get more money,
- 42:03Speaker 3: to get Congress to push more money into these budget,
- 42:05Speaker 3: billions of dollars in this Trian's over the fifty year
- 42:09Speaker 3: history of it, and what do we have to show
- 42:11Speaker 3: for it. Drug prices are cheaper, there's more of them,
- 42:14Speaker 3: and there's more violence than ever salt of our border
- 42:18Speaker 3: and in our streets.
- 42:20Speaker 9: So Fenton is doing as much damage to early as it.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Was two years ago.
- 42:27Speaker 9: Yeah, and any that are coming out saying that the
- 42:31Speaker 9: people buying one another row and there's less dediction.
- 42:35Speaker 3: It ebbs and flows in a particular drug right fatnel.
- 42:38Speaker 3: That was more to do with dealing with China because
- 42:41Speaker 3: China create all makes all the precursor chemicals and it's
- 42:44Speaker 3: just made in Mexico and transport it. But that was
- 42:47Speaker 3: pressure on China that helped to reduce and is helping
- 42:50Speaker 3: to reduce that. But I'll tell you you know, cocaine
- 42:53Speaker 3: seizures at the border that we supposedly shut down are astronomical.
- 42:57Speaker 3: They went through the ceiling after these drug boat attack
- 43:00Speaker 3: you know why. And caeizars are not They're just like
- 43:04Speaker 3: a bell weather it's for everything seas. There's two loads
- 43:06Speaker 3: to get through and so those went through the ceiling. Well,
- 43:11Speaker 3: what's that tell you? It tells you, well, a lot
- 43:13Speaker 3: of them got you decide, let's move it through the
- 43:15Speaker 3: border instead of these boats, because they're they're picking off
- 43:17Speaker 3: our boats. They will find a way again. They bring
- 43:19Speaker 3: it on airplanes, they bring it in on There's so
- 43:21Speaker 3: many ways it's done. Yeah, yeah, there's so many ways,
- 43:25Speaker 3: by ships, by huge container ships. You know, there's just
- 43:28Speaker 3: too many. You can't plug all the holes. Now. It's
- 43:31Speaker 3: not to say you shouldn't have law enforcement effort on.
- 43:35Speaker 3: You should, certainly you should, but you gotta have more
- 43:37Speaker 3: and you got to look at it, you know, a
- 43:39Speaker 3: much bigger picture. And we can't do it without the
- 43:43Speaker 3: cooperation of nations south of our border where this is
- 43:47Speaker 3: coming from, because you know, it's a problem for them too,
- 43:49Speaker 3: when two hundred thousand people are dead there. They don't
- 43:52Speaker 3: they don't have a vested interest that the ones that
- 43:54Speaker 3: are not in the business in keeping it going either,
- 43:59Speaker 3: they would love to find ways to end this and
- 44:02Speaker 3: so we could actually have, you know, less death and
- 44:06Speaker 3: and more life right for for everyone. But you know,
- 44:09Speaker 3: I hope you can see what I'm saying. It's like.
- 44:13Speaker 3: And we've seen this with governments before. They don't they're
- 44:17Speaker 3: afraid to take risks. So and the and the people
- 44:19Speaker 3: that are shooting up new ideas are almost always causing
- 44:24Speaker 3: ways for the people that have done something the same
- 44:26Speaker 3: way for a long time and are getting paid big
- 44:28Speaker 3: money for it. So it's how do you break through that.
- 44:31Speaker 3: You know, you have to you have to have voters
- 44:33Speaker 3: who finally wake up and say, you know, I must
- 44:36Speaker 3: start voting for politicians that look at this not just
- 44:38Speaker 3: as a hammer, but you know, that's one tool in
- 44:41Speaker 3: the chest. But we got to we gotta work harder
- 44:43Speaker 3: on some of these other tools. And the money laundering,
- 44:45Speaker 3: on the on the addiction and healthcare aspects of it,
- 44:48Speaker 3: on the and the last one I didn't mention is
- 44:50Speaker 3: most of the guns used to kill these people. And
- 44:54Speaker 3: you know our U s guns. You can sell a
- 44:57Speaker 3: pistol form of the some pay for sending guns there.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Yea gun trafficking. Gun trafficking is a huge business is
- 45:08Speaker 3: up there with drugs. And they go together and get
- 45:12Speaker 3: one as another on this group together because they have
- 45:16Speaker 3: different objectives. Yeah, c I A is concerned about intelligence
- 45:21Speaker 3: and the national security objectives set by the White House,
- 45:24Speaker 3: which have nothing to do with drugs. Generally, it has
- 45:27Speaker 3: to do with regime change or are making sure the
- 45:30Speaker 3: right people. Yeah, exactly, and so you know that's that's
- 45:35Speaker 3: part of the part of the equation that you got
- 45:38Speaker 3: to consider. So the c I will to draw, cultivate assets,
- 45:41Speaker 3: or get the intelligence they need or or or to
- 45:43Speaker 3: move things the way they want them to. They will
- 45:46Speaker 3: let drugs in. They're not worried about drugs getting in.
- 45:48Speaker 3: You know, if if they cultivate a narco trafficker as
- 45:51Speaker 3: an asset because he has inroads into a government they
- 45:54Speaker 3: need some to put pressure on or get intelligence from,
- 45:57Speaker 3: they're not gonna They're not gonna make put the narco
- 45:59Speaker 3: traffic in jail. In fact, they're not gonna do anything
- 46:01Speaker 3: to them because they'll be suspicious. You won't be any
- 46:03Speaker 3: good as an asset. So they let them keep trafficking.
- 46:06Speaker 3: And that creates problems for de A, which I had
- 46:10Speaker 3: these conversations with d A and c I folks. Their
- 46:13Speaker 3: turf wars are like boom. They steal each other's informants.
- 46:16Speaker 3: They have opposite missions. The DA does everything it can
- 46:20Speaker 3: to keep cases away from CIA because they get blown
- 46:22Speaker 3: up by ci A. So there is within our own,
- 46:27Speaker 3: our own approach, our law enforcement and intelligence agencies. You know,
- 46:32Speaker 3: despite the rhetoric they put out, there are built in
- 46:35Speaker 3: long standing turf wars between F B I, D E A,
- 46:39Speaker 3: ICE C I A, N s A more so, you
- 46:42Speaker 3: know N SAS is the years down there and they
- 46:44Speaker 3: probably as much involved, but the you know, and to
- 46:47Speaker 3: the point in Mexico, you know what the cartels call.
- 46:49Speaker 3: They don't care which agency they're from. They just call
- 46:52Speaker 3: them the three letter agency that they look at them
- 46:55Speaker 3: the same. And in many ways, you can get it
- 46:59Speaker 3: on Amazon. Trinday Press is the publisher. You can get
- 47:02Speaker 3: it through them, and you know, there's a bunch of
- 47:05Speaker 3: other spots that will be in bookstores. It doesn't come
- 47:07Speaker 3: out till Friday, so I don't have a big map
- 47:09Speaker 3: on that, but I know you can request it at
- 47:11Speaker 3: Bookstars and you could just plug my name in in
- 47:15Speaker 3: the book's name and you know, great pretense, you know,
- 47:17Speaker 3: Bill Conray and Google and there'll be other spot. If
- 47:20Speaker 3: you really don't want to buy, you can get it
- 47:21Speaker 3: from Barnes and Noble. I know a lot of people
- 47:23Speaker 3: don't like to buy from whatever. Yeah, and so there's
- 47:27Speaker 3: options and uh, but I don't really control that because
- 47:30Speaker 3: it's the Polisher and I mean, you know, they're they're
- 47:32Speaker 3: going to get to get Yeah, that's kind of what
- 47:34Speaker 3: they're doing. Yeah, yeah, man, you know you know what
- 47:40Speaker 3: I it's I'm glad you talked to me about this.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I hope I didn't like you know, it is probably
- 47:44Speaker 3: not the dominant narrative out there, but I will guarantee
- 47:47Speaker 3: you it is the right one.
- 47:49Speaker 5: Well, we'll find out.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Saying Bill, yeah, we'll see it sounds arrogant, but it's
- 47:55Speaker 3: it's just after thirty years of this, the patterns of emerge,
- 48:01Speaker 3: and you.
- 48:01Speaker 5: Know I can ask.
- 48:03Speaker 9: I appreciate you coming on. Take care of God, bless
- 48:06Speaker 9: this is America.
- 48:11Speaker 1: This is America.
- 48:15Speaker 5: Bara in glace or primal noumerods Bara, Rich vald is
- 48:20Speaker 5: e s dous America. All right, I mean he goes,
- 48:24Speaker 5: Welcome back Rich Valdez, keeping your company. Welcome back Marroco
- 48:28Speaker 5: and check this out. So I put my jacket on
- 48:31Speaker 5: obviously for the interview. I could take it off now.
- 48:33Speaker 5: I don't need to look too professional when I'm with you,
- 48:36Speaker 5: my film media, my amigos, the Valdez VIPs. By the way,
- 48:39Speaker 5: speaking of the Valdes viaps, we're going to have a
- 48:43Speaker 5: couple of subscription plans that are going to be available soon.
- 48:46Speaker 5: For those of you who don't like commercials, all right,
- 48:48Speaker 5: that's Stanley. And for those of you who don't like commercials,
- 48:52Speaker 5: why because some of you say you don't like commercials
- 48:54Speaker 5: so you'd rather pay a small monthly fee, that's cool.
- 48:57Speaker 5: Plus some of you are always asking me, hey, bro,
- 48:59Speaker 5: you got to bring me to some of these events
- 49:00Speaker 5: you go to and whatever. Well, we're actually gonna have
- 49:02Speaker 5: one subscription for that too, where we do an annual
- 49:05Speaker 5: event for the Platinum VIPs. So I will be talking
- 49:10Speaker 5: about more of that in the future down the road.
- 49:13Speaker 5: I'm not gonna make this in infomercial about that, but
- 49:15Speaker 5: I wanted to mention it because people have been asking
- 49:17Speaker 5: for that and for some merch believe it or not,
- 49:19Speaker 5: there are people that are interested in a funko pop,
- 49:22Speaker 5: which is like a bubblehead of me. Imagine that I'm
- 49:25Speaker 5: like a bubblehead. Enough, I thought, anyway, I want to
- 49:27Speaker 5: get into a few things, and one of the things
- 49:30Speaker 5: I want to start with, excuse me, is the snow.
- 49:36Speaker 5: I even litho. Have you seen the snow? Okay, for
- 49:38Speaker 5: those of you who are watching the show and you
- 49:40Speaker 5: don't know that it has snowed a minimum of twelve inches,
- 49:45Speaker 5: might be a foot and a half out there. My friend,
- 49:47Speaker 5: he's Cuban, so he exaggerates a little bit. But he
- 49:49Speaker 5: tells me there's two feet of snow outside his house
- 49:52Speaker 5: in North Berger, New Jersey. I don't know if that's
- 49:54Speaker 5: accurate or not, but I do know there's a bunch
- 49:56Speaker 5: of snow out there, and I know we're scheduled to
- 49:58Speaker 5: have more snow in the days. Come. Oh, I want
- 50:01Speaker 5: to talk about the snow because of course Mayor Mom
- 50:03Speaker 5: Donnie on Friday was taking some heat because he said, hey, look,
- 50:06Speaker 5: if you guys want to shovel, the city has a
- 50:08Speaker 5: snow shoveling program. You could come. You could make nineteen
- 50:10Speaker 5: or twenty something dollars an hour. And who isn't going
- 50:13Speaker 5: to sign up for that? Right? Who's even going to
- 50:14Speaker 5: check to see if they did the work. If they
- 50:16Speaker 5: sign up, trust me, they're getting paid. There's nothing the
- 50:19Speaker 5: city loves to do more than give away money, tax dollars, right,
- 50:22Speaker 5: because you know, they're like rich people in a strip bar.
- 50:24Speaker 5: That's just how they work. But Mam Donnie took all
- 50:28Speaker 5: that heat and he came back and he said, none. No,
- 50:30Speaker 5: Hold on a second, what do you think this is?
- 50:32Speaker 5: Listen to what he had to say in response to
- 50:35Speaker 5: his critics, like me, check this out.
- 50:39Speaker 2: There's been this controversy over the snow laborers and the
- 50:46Speaker 2: sort of what some see his onerous need to have documentation.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Can you just talk about it if that's new, and what
- 50:54Speaker 2: you make of the controversy.
- 50:57Speaker 10: This is all long standing. This is a long standing
- 51:00Speaker 10: program and long standing requirements, and this is a way
- 51:03Speaker 10: that New Yorkers get paid to shovel snow in assistance
- 51:07Speaker 10: with the city's response to a winter storm event. Federal
- 51:11Speaker 10: law requires that employers get authorization and documentation to pay
- 51:16Speaker 10: people for their work. We are not allowed to just
- 51:18Speaker 10: cut checks to individuals for their work. And these are
- 51:23Speaker 10: the policies that we've had in place. But I understand
- 51:25Speaker 10: that for many it's the first time that they've ever
- 51:26Speaker 10: heard about it.
- 51:28Speaker 5: All right, Mayor Mom, Donny, So the bomb slid clone
- 51:31Speaker 5: has gotten the better of you. And I don't care
- 51:35Speaker 5: how many shovelers you have out there. Ay, it's a
- 51:38Speaker 5: very difficult amount of snow to manage, but b you're
- 51:41Speaker 5: doing a piss poor job of it. Sir, you really are.
- 51:44Speaker 5: And the argument remains, one of the most important things
- 51:47Speaker 5: we do is not shovel snow. One of the most
- 51:48Speaker 5: important things we do is go ahead, you fill in
- 51:51Speaker 5: the blank, vote right, vote for people. And the fact
- 51:54Speaker 5: that we can double down and say that it's racist
- 51:57Speaker 5: and bad and all things evil to ask someone for
- 52:01Speaker 5: ID to vote. It's racist to do that, but it
- 52:04Speaker 5: is not racist, bad and evil to ask them in
- 52:08Speaker 5: order to get a paycheck. Right. And this has been
- 52:12Speaker 5: the point I think the Conservatives have long made in
- 52:14Speaker 5: asking for voter ID to eliminate.
- 52:17Speaker 6: You know, it's rigged, folks, It's rigged. They get the
- 52:20Speaker 6: whole thing rigged.
- 52:21Speaker 5: And guess what you know. A bunch of years ago,
- 52:25Speaker 5: four score and seven years ago, I just had to
- 52:28Speaker 5: I ran for office, for public office. Wow, I'm doing
- 52:33Speaker 5: the math. It was twenty one years ago. I ran
- 52:35Speaker 5: for the new Jersey State Assembly, the thirty third Legislative District,
- 52:39Speaker 5: which encompassed Union City, where I lived at the time.
- 52:42Speaker 5: Forty ninth Street in Palisade is where I lived.
- 52:45Speaker 1: And.
- 52:47Speaker 5: Parts of Jersey City, parts of I think all of
- 52:51Speaker 5: Guttenburg and some other areas anyway, but largely that part
- 52:55Speaker 5: of northern Hudson County. There it was so interesting in
- 53:02Speaker 5: that time. I mean, it's just a different world back then.
- 53:06Speaker 5: But you needed ID for all sorts of things back
- 53:07Speaker 5: then too, twenty one years ago. And yet here we
- 53:11Speaker 5: are today having the same debate about no voter ID
- 53:14Speaker 5: and people don't want voter ID, and I just I
- 53:17Speaker 5: find it phenomenal. But one of the things I learned
- 53:19Speaker 5: back then was that, yeah, dead people do vote. And
- 53:23Speaker 5: I'm not saying my election was rigged and I didn't
- 53:25Speaker 5: get beat fair and square by a powerhouse local politician.
- 53:29Speaker 5: I did, but and I think I did a pretty
- 53:32Speaker 5: good showing for the numbers I had for first the
- 53:35Speaker 5: guy who first ran that I think it was only
- 53:38Speaker 5: twenty maybe twenty, I want to say, twenty five or
- 53:42Speaker 5: twenty six years old. But the point here is that
- 53:47Speaker 5: there was no shortage of people telling me, oh, yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 5: i've worked the polls. Oh you got to see some
- 53:51Speaker 5: of the things I've seen people that would pull me
- 53:54Speaker 5: to the side and say, hey, listen, kid, I like you,
- 53:56Speaker 5: and I'm glad that you're involved in this, and I
- 53:59Speaker 5: like what you stay for, and I'm going to try
- 54:02Speaker 5: and vote for you. If they're not watching, and I said,
- 54:04Speaker 5: what does that mean. Nobody goes in the booth with you.
- 54:06Speaker 5: They said, they have a way of knowing. And they
- 54:08Speaker 5: tell us that they have a way of knowing. I'm like,
- 54:10Speaker 5: who's they? And they would always tell us the Democrats,
- 54:14Speaker 5: and these were democrats. These were people that worked within
- 54:17Speaker 5: the city, within the county, and because they had these
- 54:20Speaker 5: public jobs, they said, look, as long as I have
- 54:22Speaker 5: this job, I keep this job. As long as I
- 54:24Speaker 5: give money to a certain event every year. It's like
- 54:27Speaker 5: one hundred and twenty five dollars a person, and I
- 54:29Speaker 5: give the donations I got to give, and I support
- 54:31Speaker 5: the things they tell me to support. They put us
- 54:34Speaker 5: on a list that we supported and were good. And
- 54:36Speaker 5: when I heard that the first time, I was like, oh,
- 54:38Speaker 5: what an exaggerator. When I heard it the second time,
- 54:40Speaker 5: I said wow, could it be? When I heard it
- 54:41Speaker 5: the third, fourth, fifth, and probably fiftieth time, I said, wow,
- 54:45Speaker 5: this reminds me of a little old man that had
- 54:47Speaker 5: a bookstore on Burgoline Avenue. I want to say twenty
- 54:53Speaker 5: first Street or thirty first Street, Bergoline Avenue, Union City.
- 54:57Speaker 5: His name was Nidio Martinez, and Nibio Martinez was a
- 55:01Speaker 5: very smart guy who was born in Cuba, came to
- 55:03Speaker 5: the United States, loved America. I had a bunch of
- 55:05Speaker 5: great books on the US Constitution and other things. We'd
- 55:08Speaker 5: have these interesting conversations in his bookstore about politics and
- 55:13Speaker 5: really about liberty. And as Nibbio would tell me these things,
- 55:17Speaker 5: he too would tell me about what it was like
- 55:18Speaker 5: in Cuba, how they forced people to vote a certain way,
- 55:22Speaker 5: that's how communist regimes work. So at a very early age,
- 55:25Speaker 5: I was exposed to a lot of this information that
- 55:28Speaker 5: I couldn't help but make these parallels and say, wow,
- 55:31Speaker 5: the Democrats, at least in New Jersey and Hudson County
- 55:34Speaker 5: at the time, Bob Menendez, Brian Stack, there was a
- 55:38Speaker 5: group of them that made up the local establishment there,
- 55:43Speaker 5: in my opinion, operated like the Castroites in Cuba, hardcore communists,
- 55:53Speaker 5: Marxists down to the bone. And to me, that was
- 55:58Speaker 5: a bad thing. Right today, I say that to something
- 56:00Speaker 5: if AOC were here, all out crazy, my least favorite
- 56:02Speaker 5: congressman from the Bronx and Queens, if I were to
- 56:04Speaker 5: say that to her, she would turn around and say, no, no, no, no,
- 56:07Speaker 5: that's a good thing, right, It's good that we follow
- 56:09Speaker 5: car Marks. I'm not going to debate the goodness or badness,
- 56:14Speaker 5: if you will, of Karl Marx, but I'm going to
- 56:16Speaker 5: say twenty one years ago, when I was in my twenties,
- 56:20Speaker 5: it was widely known and understood that there was a
- 56:24Speaker 5: lot of voter fraud. People knew how to do it,
- 56:26Speaker 5: they were experts at it. It was part and parcel
- 56:29Speaker 5: of the process. I never saw anything happen to change that,
- 56:34Speaker 5: like perhaps voter ID right, if you have to show
- 56:37Speaker 5: an ID to vote, Missus Smith, who's been deceased for
- 56:40Speaker 5: the last three election cycles, can't vote. But Missus Smith
- 56:45Speaker 5: would not be able to vote if they were checking
- 56:47Speaker 5: her ID. And that's my point, right, if she were
- 56:50Speaker 5: really dead, None of those changes ever happened. So it's
- 56:55Speaker 5: difficult for me to think that that stuff just isn't
- 56:57Speaker 5: happening somehow. Because the guy who ran the Critical Infrastructure
- 57:05Speaker 5: Cyber Security Administration or CISA the season he said that
- 57:13Speaker 5: the twenty twenty election was the most secure election in
- 57:16Speaker 5: American history. Just because that guy said that doesn't mean
- 57:20Speaker 5: that I necessarily believe that, right, So take that for
- 57:24Speaker 5: what you will. Right, you can call me a tinfoil
- 57:26Speaker 5: hack conspiracy theorist, election denier, or just somebody who's looking
- 57:32Speaker 5: at things how they ought to be and how they are.
- 57:34Speaker 5: In my opinion, one part of that, but that was
- 57:40Speaker 5: my rant. I'm Mamdani and his silliness regarding the snowshoveling people. Right,
- 57:46Speaker 5: it's not that we shouldn't have to take ID for paychecks.
- 57:48Speaker 5: We should also have to take them for voting. And
- 57:50Speaker 5: there shouldn't be a double standard, right, It shouldn't be
- 57:54Speaker 5: making it prohibitive to go and vote. I think that's
- 57:57Speaker 5: the bottom line here, and I think most people, when
- 57:59Speaker 5: they stop and they think about this, they agree. They say,
- 58:02Speaker 5: you know what, No, you're right. Why on earth should
- 58:04Speaker 5: we Why on earth should we think that it is
- 58:06Speaker 5: racist to ask you for an ID? I would argue
- 58:10Speaker 5: that it's racist to presume that because you're a certain
- 58:12Speaker 5: color that you can't produce an ID. You tell me
- 58:15Speaker 5: if that's not racist. Imagine somebody coming to me going, hey,
- 58:19Speaker 5: you're kind of brown, You sure you're able to get
- 58:22Speaker 5: an ID. I'd be taken aback and I'd be offended.
- 58:29Speaker 5: I would anyway. You want to chime in on this,
- 58:32Speaker 5: you want to give me a call? Eight seven seven
- 58:34Speaker 5: Involved Desk one is the phone number eight seven seven

- 59:03Speaker 5: give me a call. Eight seven seven Valdez one eight

- 59:14Speaker 5: we will go ahead and chop it up. Whether it's
- 59:16Speaker 5: live or not, you'll get my response. Now I want
- 59:19Speaker 5: to get into something else, something that I think is
- 59:21Speaker 5: important for us to discuss, and it's kind of I
- 59:25Speaker 5: guess from yesterday's news. If I could find my notes
- 59:29Speaker 5: from yesterday's news, yesterday being Friday, right, I guess. But
- 59:33Speaker 5: there were a number of things I wanted to cover
- 59:35Speaker 5: that I oftentimes don't get to cover everything. Oh, this
- 59:39Speaker 5: was it. It was about Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew, of
- 59:43Speaker 5: course a former part of the royal family. He's now
- 59:46Speaker 5: being suspected of. Not suspected. I think he got in
- 59:49Speaker 5: trouble and he's been arrested for some sort of malthfeasons.
- 59:54Speaker 5: But he's the one that was, you know, like this
- 59:55Speaker 5: with Jeffrey Epstein. This is something again that I've heard
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: for a long time. And when I say a long time,
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: I mean nine years easy. Had to be the first
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: time I heard that for me had to be around
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: twenty seventeen that I heard Jeffrey Epstein was selling young
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: girls to powerful people, including the royal family in the UK,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: and I didn't know it was Prince Andrew in particular.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: That was what I'd heard, and I thought to myself.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Rich people do all sorts of crazy things, right. They
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: ever seen that movie The Most or the book The
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Most Dangerous Game? They did a remake some years ago
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: with Iced Tea. Shout out to Iced Tea. They get humans, right,
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Rich people would get humans that go run and then
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: they would hunt them down humans. This is no different
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: than what they did in the Roman colosseums. This type
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: of blood sport has been around since the beginning of time.
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: People having fun at the expense of others. I get it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Not condoning it. I'm just saying I understand it's real.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Something else that happened back then in the Roman era,
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: the grecor and era something called pederaste. Look it up
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: p E D E R A s t Y. Pederaste
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: was a highly regarded practice back then where parents would say, oh,
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: my gosh, I want my son to study with so
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: and so. I'm not going to say Socrates, because I
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: don't know if Socrates was a part of that, but
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: somebody of socrates stature, let's say, a man of wisdom.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: They would say, here, take my son, teach him what
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: you know and do with him what you must. They
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: knew in handing over their kid that he was going
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: to be a sexual toy of this professor. This was
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: a well established practice back in those days until it
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: was outlawed, similar to what the moms did when they
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: gave their daughters over to r Kelly. R Kelly was
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: known for doing what he did is so known that
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: moms are like, hey, we want her to succeed. If
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: she got to fool around with you a little bit,
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: then so be it. Some moms did that. That's a shame.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I don't know anybody who would actually do that, But
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: the fact that it happened just shows you about the
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: depravity of man, right, that's just truly. People are falling,
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: you know. I mean, we all have our moments, right,
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: I know I do. I may not act on every moment,
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: but trust and believe how I feel right after I
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: get cut off on the highway or things don't go
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: my way in a certain situation. I'm not saying bless
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: your heart. I'm definitely not saying that. Right. It gets
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: ugly sometimes now abusing somebody's kid for the sake of whatever,
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: that's a whole different world. But this was the norm
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: back then. And so this is just to add some
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: context to this. So this Prince Andrew guy, now he's
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: been indicted for this, and a lot of people are
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: very excited saying, well, finally somebody's been indicted for the
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: Epstein files and whatnot, or who's on there. That's great.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: I'm going to say, look, and this is not a
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: defense of any of that, but it really to me,
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: if you going back to our previous conversation right with
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: our journalist friend Bill, he was saying, going after the
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: head of the snake, the hydra, it's not the way
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: to do it. And my argument with that is still
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: the same. Then what do we do? Go after the tail?
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: So if you go after the people that are abusing
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: the kids, and I'm saying you should, right, I'm not
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: saying you shouldn't, but I'm saying if you go after
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: the people that are abusing the kids and you get them, great,
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: they tend to be really good at hiding. But getting
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Jeffrey Epstein, I think put a hamper on the Jeffrey
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: Epstein operation. I don't think that you took out Epstein.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: You took out Gilane Maxwell and now the X the
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: Epstein cartel. If you will that traffic children, it's no
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: longer an operation. So to me, that's a very successful
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: example of how you take these things out and now
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: you can continue to you know, follow the money, follow
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: the whatever, and go after the the next big fish,
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: in this case somebody from the royal family in the UK.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: And I would guess that we all saw this coming
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: when they stripped him of his royal titles right and said, hey, no,
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: you can't be down. Another interesting tell on this was
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: when Prince Harry right think it was Prince Harry met
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: and they said, we don't want to be in the
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: royal family. WHOA, What was that all about? Was that
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: really how it was portrayed. We just want to live
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: like normal Americans in America, We just want to be
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: regular people. Or was there more to it, like, hey,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: we're not down now. I'm no expert on the royals,
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: honestly not even interested in the Royals. But I say
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: all of that to come full circle here and say
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: I'm glad that they're getting people that are involved in
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: this Epstein debacle. But I don't want to say stuck here.
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: I think the focus should always be on finding the kids,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: on rescuing kids that may be trapped, on releasing them
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: from captivity. To me, that's the most important thing that
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: we can do, and we shouldn't lose focus over fighting
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: about the guy that we got and whether he's a
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: live or dead we don't know, but the official story
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: he died in jail. That's a good thing. Gelan Maxwell,
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: she's still in jail. That's a good thing. I think
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: it's a bad thing when we get so distracted with
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: the bad guys. We've already caught that everything else falls
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: by the wayside. So anyway, that was me on my
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: best behavior in the interview before, not interrupting, not arguing,
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: hoping he'll come back another day. Because I believe something
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I learned from President Trump, believe it or not, And
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: you could check out the interview I did with him
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: a couple of years ago. He said something I was
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: really profound and not many people notice, and it was this.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: He said, you know, it's not an easy job you
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: have because if you're too easy on a guest, people
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: won't respect you, and if you're too hard on him,
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: they won't come back. Nobody will come back. And he's
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: right right, it's a balance. So I get that, and
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: you want to be fair to people. So I appreciate
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: that advice from President Trump. Kudos to him. Shout out
