- 0:00Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, same
- 0:02Speaker 1: time and tap the breset button. Now now back to
- 0:06Speaker 1: the Mark Simon Show on woor Hey, let's take some calls.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Let's go to Dennis in Long Island. Dennis, how you doing.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I'm well, Mark, good morning. I've got a question, why
- 0:18Speaker 2: were there so many or why are there so many
- 0:21Speaker 2: US Democrat governors attending Dobbeles. What's that all about? I mean,
- 0:25Speaker 2: we know about David Houston, but Greshen Whitmo was there,
- 0:28Speaker 2: and Share from Kentucky was there. What's this all about?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Oh, Davos is all billionaires, CEOs, people with tons of money.
- 0:35Speaker 1: If you're a Democrat governor, you chase billionaires all over
- 0:38Speaker 1: the place because they're donors. It's like a convection of donors.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It's the most important thing for a Democratic governor. Donors, donors, donors.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And you notice the names you mentioned are people are
- 0:48Speaker 1: thinking are running in twenty twenty eight, so they need
- 0:51Speaker 1: to line up these donors. Now, most people go to Davos,
- 0:54Speaker 1: don't go for the seminars to speeches. They go to
- 0:57Speaker 1: just be on the side of what they call the
- 0:58Speaker 1: sidelines where you meet these donors. You make deals, you
- 1:01Speaker 1: win them over, even the business guys. They're there to
- 1:05Speaker 1: make private deals. On the on the side, Let's go
- 1:08Speaker 1: to Jerry and Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing very well?
- 1:11Speaker 3: Thank you Mark. I want you to know that in
- 1:13Speaker 3: the back window of my car I have a sign
- 1:17Speaker 3: w R Mark ten o'clock. I love your show so much.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Now let me ask you a question. Is that car
- 1:24Speaker 1: a black Cadillac?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:26Speaker 1: You know why I know that. Somebody sent me a
- 1:28Speaker 1: picture of it.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Oh he did. Oh good.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Somebody saw the car with the big sign and took
- 1:33Speaker 1: Everybody should put one of those signs in the back
- 1:34Speaker 1: of their cart to Mark somehow.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Another thing. This morning, I went shopping with my wife
- 1:39Speaker 3: at in Stamford and I was wearing my Trump hat.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I had three ladies saying I love your hat, and
- 1:45Speaker 3: two fellows I love your hat. You're in style.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Where did you go shopping in Stanford.
- 1:52Speaker 3: At the shop right shop, shop right store.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Oh that's a very good shop right there. You got
- 1:58Speaker 1: a lot of good supermarkets there in Stanford. You got
- 2:00Speaker 1: a big new Whole Foods right up on the hill there,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and you got a new Wegmons in Norwalk and all right, Jerry,
- 2:06Speaker 1: thanks for calling. Yeah, I hate to break it to you,
- 2:08Speaker 1: but you know, if you put on a Trump hat
- 2:11Speaker 1: and you walk around, it could be Stanford, but even
- 2:13Speaker 1: Long Island, gorgeous women will come up to you. It's
- 2:17Speaker 1: quite a phenomenon. Beautiful women. They love Trump, they love
- 2:20Speaker 1: that hat. Just wear the hat everywhere. You'd be amazed
- 2:23Speaker 1: at the reaction you'll get. Let's go to Rich and
- 2:25Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I had pretty good. Got my wife out of the
- 2:29Speaker 4: hospital this morning for a bunyan surgery, so we've been
- 2:32Speaker 4: up since five, but she's doing good. Now. You know,
- 2:34Speaker 4: it's funny you mentioned about women because when you look
- 2:36Speaker 4: at the women on YouTube, are on TV, the Republican
- 2:40Speaker 4: women are always ten thousand times better looking in the
- 2:42Speaker 4: Liberals and these crazy, wacky white women you see in
- 2:45Speaker 4: the streets.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll tell you I was going to make where
- 2:48Speaker 1: that Trump had a lot of good really good looking
- 2:50Speaker 1: women will come up to you. Where Joe Biden hat.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Look at the beasts that will come up to you.
- 2:58Speaker 4: They announced on TV. They announced a little while on
- 3:01Speaker 4: Fox that they arrested the person in charge of the
- 3:04Speaker 4: protests at the church. Yeah, that's the arrested the second
- 3:07Speaker 4: woman in charge that was on the school board. So
- 3:10Speaker 4: she's done. And I loved this bipartisan contempt vote against
- 3:13Speaker 4: the Clintons. That shows you how irrelevant both Hillary and
- 3:16Speaker 4: Bill are that the Democrats are voting to put me.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, but you got to remember, for a lot of Democrats,
- 3:21Speaker 1: especially today's Democrats, they don't like the Clintons. They think
- 3:24Speaker 1: of them as to them, the Clintons are like Uncle
- 3:26Speaker 1: Leo on Seinfeldt. They're like old dinosaurs from that past. Well,
- 3:31Speaker 1: thanks for calling. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 3:34Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark Marco. I'm okay. If I wore my
- 3:38Speaker 5: doctor Maga hat in the neighborhood I live, and I
- 3:42Speaker 5: probably wind up in jail because one of these fat,
- 3:45Speaker 5: skanky Rodipoli women would try and take it from me,
- 3:50Speaker 5: and they probably wind up with a double slap in
- 3:54Speaker 5: their face.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right. Let me clarify. I don't I'm not
- 3:57Speaker 1: saying where it in the New York City. I'm saying
- 3:59Speaker 1: wear it out in Long Island Riot in westwestern Connecticut.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Do not wear it in the city.
- 4:02Speaker 5: That's because where I live, which is the center of
- 4:07Speaker 5: liberal town here in Park Slope. Forget it. I get
- 4:11Speaker 5: dirty looks when I wear my my my Trump pat.
- 4:15Speaker 5: They should also arrest Don Food Cake Lemon for breaking
- 4:19Speaker 5: into that church under fourth pretenses. Mark, I often hear
- 4:24Speaker 5: you talk about the Ed Koch, the eighty twenty percent rule.
- 4:29Speaker 5: All right, I like eighty percent of what Trump's doing. Yes,
- 4:34Speaker 5: I don't like.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Let me, let please let me.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You only got twenty seconds. We got to go to
- 4:39Speaker 1: the right.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Remember before Christmas, I told you one of my packages
- 4:43Speaker 5: was being held up in Italy. It was a gift
- 4:45Speaker 5: package that had cakes, cookies and stuff for the holidays.
- 4:49Speaker 5: It was in short for sixty five dollars. They brought
- 4:53Speaker 5: it to my house. The government wanted a tariff.
- 4:57Speaker 1: All right. You know a lot of people don't like
- 5:00Speaker 1: the St. Vincent great call. We got to go for
- 5:01Speaker 1: the news because when we come back, Jimmy Taylor will
- 5:04Speaker 1: be with us, all right, Jimmy Taylor will be with
- 5:06Speaker 1: us next on seven to ten w O. R.
